BB28 Why ___ Lost Week 9

BB28 Why ___ Lost Week 9

Also available on YouTube.

After the Big Brother 28 nominations this week, Angela said she felt good because she knew she wasn’t the target. It was an ominous portent, though it was hard to see at that time how that could be the result. Surely nobody would decide to vote out Angela instead of Dee, right? Yet that’s exactly what happened and it’s time for David Bloomberg and Chappell to explain it all. At RHAP, we know Big Brother, and we know Why Angela Lost.

[00:00:00] You played yourself and got voted out This is why blank lost This is why blank lost This is why blank lost Welcome back to Why Blank Lost. I'm David Bloomberg and my co-host Chappelle and I would like you to know

[00:00:27] just because we're podcast icons, we're just like you. And one day you might get on a podcast. Don't treat us differently. We're not different. No. Well, you know what? And we have so much fun here, David. I'm just so happy that I can have so much fun with you every week talking about why X Lost all these Big Brother players. It's so much fun to watch these people do fun things every summer. That's so fun. David, it's a good time.

[00:00:55] It is. It is. Do we go into our chore list now? Except I'm the one who has the chore list. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I definitely could give a shout out to a few people who could do some laundry or something for me, maybe, you know, or something. But yeah, I guess we got a lot to talk about today, David. We do. We do. Because we knew after that veto comp that we would be saying goodbye to one of the icons. As soon as the veto was over, I posted on Blue Sky.

[00:01:24] I did a video. I said, the rest of the week is pointless. We can all take a well-deserved nap. Don't have to pay attention, you know, because it was all going to come down to whether Devin's or D1 Blockbuster and the other one would obviously go home against Angela. There was no way people would vote her out instead. And yet, here we are.

[00:01:53] And so I've been loving the conversations online. They're a little intense because the fandoms are fighting. But I've been loving the subject matter, right? Which is, oh, these people made such a dumb move versus or, you know, these people were really good and they made these people do something that was, you know, against their interests. And I think right now it's hard to tell who is right and who is wrong because, you know, both are valid, right?

[00:02:18] You can disagree with the move on their part, but also, you know, show some love to the skill that it takes to get somebody to do something like that. And I think if it's a lesser player, we're not talking about Angela today. I think we would be just fine if there was somebody else in this position. But man, they ran into a juggernaut in the Big Brother house this season. They did. They did. We'll have a few more thoughts about that momentarily because I agree with both sides.

[00:02:47] I'm, you know, normally I take a side, but in this case, I agree with both sides. We'll get to that. But yeah, that's, I mean, obviously unpredictable outcomes, the ones that make you say, holy cow, that's why we're here to figure out even the most unlikely situations. And we will do that for Angela the same way we do every week by comparing how she played to a set of guiding rules I originally wrote back in 2004 and have modified ever since.

[00:03:16] We'll analyze her actions using what we saw on TV, live feeds, interviews, and other information, including going back to my why Angela lost from last time. The most recent published version of the rules is at robhaswebsite.com slash bigbrotherrules. But before we get to that, we always have some other things to discuss about the week in general, and you've already brought it up. It goes back to that surprise outcome.

[00:03:43] Yash and Taylor's, I'm just going to say it, incredibly bad decision. Even if Angela told them on the way out that it was a good move, it wasn't. It came down to two people who earlier in the week were clearly going to vote out D and change their minds. And this is, you know, there's a, there's kind of this invisible dividing line between what we talk about here.

[00:04:09] We'll talk about Angela and why they changed their minds against her once we get to the rules. But we could definitely say here, it was a mistake. And, you know, earlier this season, I don't know if we specifically use the phrase on this podcast, but there was discussion about Yasha's mist, his ability to convince people to go along with him. He got out misted by D here and came to believe her. So that's why I'm saying I agree with both sides.

[00:04:38] Hmm. Okay. Uh, I don't know how I feel yet about the move. I think I have to be a little bit result results oriented here because, um, you know, the, the presentation Yasha is getting from D and Devin's throughout the week is we're not going to put you up because you can't put us up. Right. So there's no point in us putting you on the block. And I guess in Yasha's mind, because he has that contract that we've been hearing about that bribe, uh, he's like, okay, well, why would I vote y'all out?

[00:05:05] If y'all are at least guarantee me y'all won't put me up versus Barrett and Drew and Melody who would certainly put him up. Right. And so I don't, I told, I understand the thought process there because Yasha's trying to save himself until he can like maybe skate past a double, you know, double eviction or something like that. So I get it in that sense, comma, but you have Angela and D on the block next to each other.

[00:05:33] And one is clearly a threat in, and maybe this is more credit to D because she had been downplaying her, uh, her threat level for so long. They've been talking about how they didn't know how she won survivor, how she's not good at competition, how she's really kind of off in the game. They called her dumb a couple of times, you know? And so maybe because of that, they looked at Angela and D as almost interchangeable and said, well, at least D can help us.

[00:05:59] Because Angela will probably vote us out too, and she can't even help us, you know? And so I, for me, it's the bigger issue is that D is the shark in the water. She is the one that you should be afraid of. Even if she, even if they don't vote you out, going to the final two with D is not wise, you know, going to the final two with Angela. I think most people have a shot. I'm not saying that Angela couldn't, couldn't win. I actually said that at the beginning of the season that Angela could not win.

[00:06:25] But I just feel like when you have somebody like D in your sights, you have to take the shot. And for them to not do it, they're going to have, this is going to take some aftercare, right? These next couple, these next couple moves and are going to have to like really make this thing work because on the surface, it does not look great. Right. I mean, D, I don't know that it was the playing down of the threat because one of the arguments

[00:06:54] that we saw her make to Yash on Thursday's episode was, Hey, I can win the HOHs when you, when you're not able to, when you're ineligible. And so, you know, you wouldn't be making that argument if you were also downplaying yourself. But the thing that really got me was D talking about how loyal she was and, you know, just leaving out the parts about, Oh, going against drew at least twice, making an alliance with

[00:07:21] Mallory and then immediately getting her out, not caring that it went against what two of her close allies wanted. And Yash just lapped it up. You know, he, he didn't do any critical thinking. He even said, Oh yeah, you were, you were loyal to that five. No, she wasn't. She absolutely wasn't. I mean, she was when she wanted to be, but she didn't always want to be.

[00:07:47] And, you know, I mean, now it helped that she talked about, Oh, my targets are going to be drew and bear through and bear throughout the week. She had been seemingly unnecessarily nasty about the two of them. And to the point that it made a lot of people, I mean, it made me cringe. It made a lot of people say like, wow, this D is a nasty, nasty person. She is a bad sport. She's a horrible person. What is going on here?

[00:08:16] I think that maybe she's been doing it on purpose because it helps convince Yash and Taylor that she is indeed going to war. You know, if you've been talking about how horrible those people are all week long, it sounds like you're definitely going against them. And if that was her goal, it worked. Yeah. D is a killer in these games. She doesn't pull punches. And so when she gets upset. Oh, yeah.

[00:08:46] I'm sure a lot of the things she said was like how she really felt in that moment, like her knee jerk reaction to feeling betrayed or being feeling backed into a corner and stuff like that. But that's the thing. You don't back a tiger into the corner, right? Because there's only way for them to get out is through you. And so, yeah, I think for D, she felt backed into a corner and her attitude, like you were saying, really did kind of reinforce what she's saying. I don't I want Barrett out of the game. I don't care if it takes my game.

[00:09:11] We saw Devin said that in the D.R., like, hey, if we say if we survive, this is the end of it. So they even believed it at times, you know, and it didn't it didn't help Barrett's case that, you know, D and Barrett were so close in the early weeks. I mean, you know, Barrett telling us now that he has a relate like he had a crush on Mallory, but you wouldn't know it in the first few weeks because he was always under D. Always.

[00:09:36] They spent so many, so many like full days just cuddling, you know, and that's fine. He was literally wrapped around her at times. Exactly. And there's a lot of them. He's a gangly guy, as the BB comic says. Right. But the thing is, now that she's upset, they didn't spend any time together. And so if I'm Yasha, like, oh, these two people who used to be attached at the hip are now they don't they're not even on speaking terms. I think they didn't talk until Thursday or it was either Thursday morning. I think it was Thursday morning.

[00:10:05] The first time they had an actual conversation since she got put on the block. So if I'm Yasha, I'm thinking there's no way she's working with him because you got to at some point talk to him. And she's been with us the entire week. And so, you know, like you said, it might have been on purpose. That's some masterful gameplay going on. And I think that, yeah, look at what Sari was able to do. Look at what D is able to do. If you're bringing in people from other franchises that are really good at what they do, there are things that won't translate, but there are definitely things that will. Yeah.

[00:10:34] Yeah, definitely. And speaking of Barrett, he also screwed up. He told us on Thursday night's episode that Angela leaving would make it a wasted week. Well, guess what? And, you know, he has to own a fair portion of the blame for that because he spent a good chunk of time this week holed up in his HOH room only talking to the cameras. And it's like, yeah, of course, we like when players tell us what they're thinking

[00:11:03] and planning, but he shouldn't have been doing that instead of dealing with the other players. I think he was drained. His social battery was drained, but also he sort of felt like he had done his job of making the nominations. And much like I said earlier, obviously people are going to vote out D or Devin's. But in this house, he should have known that nothing is obvious and things change through the week. He needed to have a presence and be in discussions.

[00:11:34] And I mean, can I sit here and absolutely say, well, things would have gone differently if he had done that? No, these myths might still have worked. But him being there, occupying some of Yash and Taylor's time, talking to them, making them realize he wasn't the big bad wolf that he wanted to work with them going forward. This was a move in that direction. It could have blunted D's attack there.

[00:12:04] I'm going to be less kind to Barrett than most people are, because I don't buy this social battery thing. I don't buy it. Because if the pipe queen was still in the house, he'd have been in the pipe queens in her face. If she won HOH, he'd have been in her face. You know what I'm saying? Barrett was talking to the people he wanted to talk to. And once he pissed off half of the house, he didn't want to talk to nobody at that point. And he talks about it in the DR where he's saying the vets are acting like babies. The icons are acting like babies.

[00:12:33] Nobody else would walk around the house pouting like this. Have you met Mallory? Have you met Melody? Yes, they were. Yes, they were. And so they weren't pouting. They were screaming. Exactly. Literally screaming. Right. And he's like, they're being brats. Barrett, that's what people do when they're on the block. Look at your allies and how they acted while they were on the block. And so I think it was getting to him. I think he had hurt the people that he was working with. And then like logically in a game sense, he knew he had to put them up.

[00:13:01] But he wasn't expecting them to make him feel so bad about it. And so he hid. That's exactly what I think. I don't think it had anything to do with him being social. I think it was mom and dad are upset. I thought I could be a big boy and take the shot at them. I can't look D in the eye. I can't talk to Devin's too long because they're making me feel bad. I'm going to run away because when we saw D and Barrett finally talk again. They instantly start crying and like talking about how much they miss each other.

[00:13:30] You know what I'm saying? That to me, that doesn't sound like somebody who was having a social battery issue. That sounds like somebody who was kind of in their feelings about something, you know, like I think that D felt betrayed. Whether or not she should have felt betrayed. That's a different story. But Barrett also felt like he had done a bad thing and he was kind of whimpering about it in the corner. So I can't give him the social battery thing. He he did a thing and then he wasn't able to stand in it. And since he wasn't, it allowed the game to move around him.

[00:13:59] And now he probably feels worse than he did last week. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah. Whether it was social battery like he claimed or whether it was I think it's more likely much more likely what you said. He had to overcome it. You got to get past it. You got to get out there and give the old rah-rah for what you want to happen. So. Yeah. Now, I do also have to say on his behalf.

[00:14:29] All week, I've been yelling at my screen and sometimes at commenters in my videos that this move was not too soon as the icons have claimed. Now. Since this outcome happened, some of the commenters are coming back to me and being like, see, told you. No. The problem was not in when the move was made. First of all. Second of all. Results oriented, you know, thinking.

[00:14:55] But it's the problem is, as we just discussed, what happened after the move was made. Barrett should have been more prepared or present to shepherd the decision along. And quite frankly, Yash and Taylor shouldn't have fallen for what D sold them. All of that is independent of the timing of his move, which was spot on. Yeah.

[00:15:19] And with the icons telling Barrett that it's too soon, it's phrases like that is why he's hiding away because they're making him feel bad. Angela, every time she's with them, Barrett, Barrett, not you, not you. Devin's, Barrett, I would have never done this to you. D, I would have never done this to you. Like, they're not going scorched earth on him at first, right? They're not walking around the house, beating the team. Parental guilt. Exactly. And D and Barrett are peers.

[00:15:46] So it's crazy that she's even able to tap into that too, right? But that that's what they were pushing as their narrative for why he shouldn't have done it. But it was working on it's supposed to work on him. And it didn't get him to change his mind, right? He didn't go and put them on the block or whatever. I mean, take them off the block with the veto and backdoor Yash, which I think he probably should have did. But what he did do is let that guilt get to him. And I think he that's why he ended up hiding.

[00:16:13] So, yeah, I agree that this was the time to put the icons up. Right. But if you were going to if you were going to really take a shot here, yeah, but you could put the icons up. But you should have the option of taking Yash out as well if it comes to it, because of all the competitors in the house, Yash is number one in these competitions. And it seems like Barrett is a little less concerned about that than he should have been. At least he was last week. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:16:40] First, to mention what you said about they were using this argument against him. Some people have said that to me as well. Well, they were just making that argument to him. No, they were saying it. D said it in a camera talk. Devin said it in diary room or camera talk. They were making that same argument to us. Oh, it was too soon. It was too soon. They were not just saying it to him. They were focusing it on him, like you said. But they, from everything we can see, they believe this as well, that it was indeed too soon. You got to believe the lie, David.

[00:17:10] You got it. If you don't believe it, then how is anybody else going to believe it? You know, you got to buy in. That's true. Yeah. I, at the time, I have to say, I agreed with him picking Yash to do the, to play the veto because he wanted to keep the nominations the same. I understood that. And with, with Drew, you can't control Drew. You know, you don't know what he's going to do. He's already saying, I want to take one off. I want to take one off.

[00:17:40] And so I understand it. I, he just didn't foresee Yash flipping like this, Yash and Taylor flipping like this. But again, it circles back to, he didn't stop it from happening either. Well, yeah. And I got to stop you right there too, because when Drew is saying, I want to take somebody off, he said, I want to take Angela off. Right. Yeah. For Barrett to start the week off saying Angela going home is going to be a waste of a week,

[00:18:08] but then leaving Angela on the block only to play in the blockbuster where you know, she'll probably be in the final two votes. You're leaving so much room for error right there, right? You could have shut this all down by not picking Yash of all people to play in the veto. Maybe if you pick Drew, you might have a better chance of winning the veto and keeping it yourself the same way on your own. But picking Yash, you know, at that point you're giving Yash another win, you know, another

[00:18:34] notch in his belt as well as leaving Angela on the block. You should have really been trying to get Yash on that block. So then that way, at the very least, you could lose D, you could lose Devin's or you could lose Yash because that's what he said. His ultimate, he said, those are three people that have to go home for this to be a good week. And yet he only took the shot at two. I think it's because he got so upset at the, at the icons just before it was time for nomination

[00:19:03] or no, just before it was time for the veto pick. Sorry. And also, like I said, he just did not foresee Yash flipping. Yash has been calling them names for, for kissing up to the icons. Mm hmm. Why would he ever flip? Now he's the one doing the exact same thing. Yeah. You know, Garrett just did not foresee this. And I have to admit, I didn't see it either. I didn't think this, that things would happen this way either.

[00:19:32] He could have seen it if he left his room to go talk to the people downstairs, you know, then. Right. But you could at least try to mitigate that if you're downstairs being a person of the people. And another person he was hiding from this week was Drew because he pissed him off too. Why do you stay up all night telling Drew you're going to pick him for the veto only to not pick him for the veto? Why did you lie? You could have just said, nah, Drew, I don't trust that you're not going to, you know, I don't want the nominations. You know, you could have done that.

[00:19:59] But to get down there, pull the tip and have the decision to lie to Drew directly to his face or to lie to Yash, you picked lie to Drew. It's like, yeah, no wonder why you're hiding. I don't, I don't think he lied to Drew. I think he changed his mind. And didn't tell Drew? Didn't tell Drew. So I went to, if you want to call it a lie by omission, he did not. I wouldn't even call that a lie by omission. I think if someone tells you they're going to do something, they don't do it. That's a lie.

[00:20:31] I'm trying to look at his intent when he said it. And I think his intent when he said it was to, to, to pick him and then he changed his mind. And so it's, I mean, it's bad. Don't get me wrong. Whatever it is, it's bad. And Drew is reading it as a lie, whether or not, you know, whichever way it is. So, I mean, yeah, he, he should have just pulled him aside beforehand and been like, Hey, look, I had a change of heart.

[00:20:58] If by chance I draw my own chip, here's, you know, here's what I'm going to do. Yeah. And the, the lie is bad, but it is the guilt that I think really did take its toll on him. Right. The reason, you know, Drew's start storming back and forth in the backyard. Like you could have told me, you could have told me. And then you try to go to, you could, you try to go to, uh, Devin's for, you know, to be consoled. And Devin's like, it's too soon. And you walk toward Angela. She's like, not you, not you. I couldn't have been you. And then D won't even look at you.

[00:21:26] And so he's like, uh, you know, and he can't even go hang out with Taylor and Josh that much because he, he definitely wants to target them too. So I think at some point he starts looking around like, dang, I kind of painted myself in the world. All I have is melody. And, um, you know, she wants to hang out with Drew. So, um, yeah, I think there, it just, I, I hate it for him because I know that like, he's a big fan and I know that this was the move that in his mind, it was supposed to go a certain way, but it's like, he just, it was a half measure.

[00:21:56] He didn't put the nail in the coffin the way he should have. And, uh, I think he's going to regret it for a long time. Yeah. So another topic that people have of course been talking about is the whole situation of having survivor players on big brother. This has been going on since the beginning. And of course this week only made it, you know, highlighted it more.

[00:22:20] I, it was one thing to many people, though, certainly not all when it was just Sheree and she was handicapped by having to deal with Jared. Jared, but, but now with D and Devin's, it seems like a different situation. So what have you thought of that? I don't, first of all, I'm a big survivor fan. Everybody knows that already. So I'm never going to be like, don't bring the survivor players over here. As long as I like them, I don't care. Like, you know, they'll bring the ones I don't like. That's, that's how I feel.

[00:22:50] We could leave Jonathan and Joe. And that lady whose name we won't say. Yeah. There's a few people. Right. Look, I wouldn't mind watching Joe and the big brother house. I think that would be hilarious. If you think Devin's is the dad, imagine Joe. Oh my God. But yeah, I think that if you had not given them such a massive advantage, not only do they know each other, but also like, you know, the, the free HOH, which basically, and then the power votes and all that kind of stuff.

[00:23:20] It would, I, I think I would have zero issue with this. Right. Right. That's that, that is what bothers me the most. As far as them being here. I think they've made the game. So like the game. So, um, like fluid, you know, it's, and it's like, they have the optimal strategy in their mind and they decide to do other things just because, and I don't hate that because we know optimal big brother strategy is boring. It is boring. It's get your big Alliance, win everything and vote out the people who are not in your Alliance and get an Alliance inside of that Alliance.

[00:23:49] And then do the same thing again, until it's you and somebody, the weakest person from that Alliance. And then you can win the game. We've seen it done flawlessly multiple times. So we know that works. And they had the opportunity to do that and just decided, no, we're not going to do it. And so not only are they winning challenges, but they're targeting people seemingly just like at a whim. Sometimes, um, they're flipping votes on Wednesdays and Thursdays before the blockbuster. There've been so many seasons of big brother boy.

[00:24:17] And you've talked about this before, David, we know who's going home on my day. You know, we're just like, all right, well, I guess we'll just wait. And, uh, if they don't win the veto, they're going home. And it's never been the case this season ever. It's always been, well, you know, you think, you know, something, but then the vets are, I mean, the vets, the icons or the survivor players, they're up to something. Certainty we have in big brother, because those last few weeks of big brother are the worst weeks of every summer for me.

[00:24:44] I hate watching everybody just lay around and just, that's it. That's it. There's nothing to talk about. The alliances are already set. There's no strategizing because there's no way you're going to convince these two challenge beasts to take you. You're too likable, you know, that kind of thing. Now we have two legitimate challenge threats in D and Devin's in the house. Uh, you know, and then, uh, we also have people who are making some wild moves. The game is so fluid and I really don't know how it's going to end.

[00:25:12] You know, I don't think there's a clear line to victory for anybody. And I think that picking, I don't know if it's just these two survivor players, David, or if it's just survivor, the way the format is the quick gameplay and the tribal councils of it all. But I don't hate this at all. I don't necessarily need them to bring survivor players on all the time, but I'm not against it. Yeah. I, I mean, you've pretty much spoken for me in all that. I have no problem with it. You know, obviously I've watched and covered both shows from the start.

[00:25:41] Um, I, I think that those people who only watch big brother are much more likely to be annoyed by it. It's like, what are you doing? Bringing those people onto our show. And I think we saw that in survivor when they brought in, um, beast mode cowboy and, uh, what was his name? The big brother winner Hayden. Um, you know, people were the same way. Like, what are you doing? Bringing these big brother people here. Let's smash them down and you know, let's hope they, they lose.

[00:26:09] So yeah, if you only watch one of the shows, totally get it. You don't want people coming in and invading your show. But like you said, they have, uh, D and Devin's, they've shown some interesting moves. They've made some terrible mistakes. And yeah, the biggest problem is not with, in my opinion, not with them being there. It's the, it's the amount of freebies they were given.

[00:26:37] You know, I understand they, I understand when there's one there, like when Rachel was there, give her a free week, even Sari one week, one free week, you know, let them get in with people and, and start, you know, making things happen this many weeks. I mean, a free week for all of them and then the powers or the, at least the chance at the powers on top of it while survivors airing after big brother, by the way. Right. Yes. Yeah.

[00:27:06] Um, it's, it's just a terrible, terrible mix. You want to protect your investment. You've got three of them there. If one gets knocked out, you haven't, you haven't lost the whole world. Let it play out. Stop. You know, this is why people are saying like people will post. It was rigged for them. And I have to figure out, okay, are you just saying the same thing I'm saying?

[00:27:34] Or are you a conspiracy nut and saying, no, they're actually changing things behind the scenes because I'll agree with the first one, but there's a reason I call these people conspiracy nuts for the second one. Uh, you know, like even, even the blockbuster immediately people were posting as soon as, as soon as Julie's video came out. Oh, they're doing a survivor puzzle. Of course. First of all, that's not a survivor puzzle. That was a big brother puzzle. It has been done before.

[00:28:01] Second of all, everybody was thinking they were going to do the ropes course and they were thinking, Oh, perfect for D. Well, they didn't do the ropes. If they had done the ropes, we'd have heard the same damn thing. If they had done balance, we'd have heard the same damn thing. You know, there are only a couple of purely big brother that have nothing to do with survivor types of comps that they could have done. And even those, do we really think Angela would have beaten D and Devins? I don't.

[00:28:31] No. So stop it with that. They're not choosing which blockbuster to do based on who they want to stay. Well, I saw a tweet from, um, I want to say it was an actual tweet. Uh, I saw a screenshot of it actually. Um, I want to say it was the winner of big brother.

[00:28:56] Eight was saying, um, that there's so much production interference in this season. I said, Oh, coming from the winner of big brother. Eight. Eight. Oh, okay. Okay. You know, Oh, I guess you would know. And so, um, you know, maybe there is something to David. Maybe there's something to it. Yeah, I get that's why I'm saying you want to talk about what's really been done to rig it in their advantage. Fine.

[00:29:24] We can have that discussion and I'm on board with you, but if they wanted Devins to stay, he lost the veto by 26 seconds in a comp that no one else saw. Mm-hmm. They did not have to adjust that by very much. If they were truly pulling these sorts of shenanigans behind the scenes, all they had to do was adjust his time or Yash's time by 30 seconds.

[00:29:49] No one outside of those of the person doing that rigging would have known. That's true. It was an easy, easy little conspiratorial fix and they didn't do it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they picked putting Angela in an egg costume instead of giving her a real power. You know, it's like there's definitely things where they could have put the thumb on the scale a little bit more if they wanted to. And I think that the big smoking gun is the one you're talking about. BB Comics is so easy for them to just be like, yeah, Devins did it in six seconds.

[00:30:19] What are you talking about? You know, like they don't have a clock. They don't know. And so, yeah, the fact that it was so close when they could have just like flipped the numbers, you know, I think that goes to show you that they're not trying to rig it any more than it already was kind of lopsided in the vets favor. The icons were given a ton of advantages. But from there, moving forward, they have done some exciting things in the game and I've been enjoying it. Yeah. Yeah. They're publicly rigging it. They're not secretly rigging it.

[00:30:48] What they're doing is out in the open. You know, it's. I was going to say something political, but I'll shut my mouth on that. So, you know, but but yeah, they're not, you know, it's not behind the scenes rigging. It's out in the open. Yeah. We gave them a free HOH. What are you going to do about it? You're going to stop watching? No, you're not. So there. So let's just move on. You know? Yeah, exactly. I don't have to see more survivor players on Big Brother, though. Just throwing it out there.

[00:31:16] But I saw somebody asking. I think we will. Yeah. I think there's there's no way with the ratings the way they have been. They're sitting there going, oh, yeah. Who do we bring back next time? Now, if they're smart, I think they skip a year. Yeah. Um, but it seems like they're bringing back someone almost every year now. Listen, we've now made it to season 28 of this show. We are creeping up on season 30.

[00:31:44] If you wanted to do something spicy, you could throw a lot more in there as well and kind of make it a battle of the seasons type thing. Um, I think that would be so unfair. Um, but they could. You know what I'm saying? And, um, yeah. Okay. Yeah. So, uh, we'll see what happens, but please skip a year, please. Just for my health. Just for my mental health. You know what I'm saying? Right. Right. All right. Well, normally we go to our Julie Chen. Moonves is wrong about blank segment here, but I'm sorry to disappoint because once again, she did not say anything too far off the wall.

[00:32:13] Uh, two weeks in a row for her is shocking. Uh, so we've already spent, uh, more than a half hour before we've even gotten to the rules. So I think it's time to get there. After the nominations were set, Angela told us she felt good because she knew she wasn't the target. Of course, nobody knew what the outcomes of the veto and blockbuster would be yet.

[00:32:36] But just her saying that was an ominous portent that things were not going to go her way. Though it was hard to see how it would happen. Surely nobody would decide to vote out Angela instead of D or Devin's, right? Yet here we are and it's time to explain it all, which is good because, hey, that's our job. At RHAP, we know Big Brother and we know why Angela lost. The first and most important rule is, of course, to scheme and plot.

[00:33:04] And it's funny because we saw Angela complaining that some of the others in the house were just floating along and not doing anything. Which made many of us scratch our heads and wonder exactly what she believed she had been doing. Now, she undoubtedly played better this time than in BB26. But a huge part of that was because she came in with a built-in alliance from the get-go.

[00:33:27] Which gave her much needed stability and carried her along in the exact way she claimed was happening with others. Yeah, but I can't knock her. She did scheme and plot. I came in this season thinking Angela doesn't stand a chance. But we saw her talking. Obviously, she had her alliance with the vets. But then, of course, there's the red corner that's bigger than that. We saw her making these connections with Haley at different times. We saw her making connections with Lala at different times.

[00:33:56] We saw her making connections with Mallory at different times. She was trying her best. You know, like I said, I think the bar for me with Angela, the ceiling, is not as high as it is for other people, right? And so when I see her doing these things, I'm thinking, this is Angela going against her natural care and nature to get these stuff done. And she's actually trying, you know. Now, don't get me wrong. You make a lot more moves when you can actually win stuff. And she wasn't able to win and leverage any power in the game because she was, like you said, her allies were around her doing that.

[00:34:25] But Angela stayed in the conversation. This isn't Angela coming in and being like, can I be on the bottom of your alliance? You know, that Angela was not here this season. And so I'll give her credit for that. Now, this week, however, I just feel like there should have been more going on. Like, I think that because she was up against Devin's Andy, she didn't go as hard as she could have gone. We've seen Angela get worked up into this is big freaking brother. You can't like she should have been in those rooms.

[00:34:54] She should have been talking to Barrett. Get downstairs. They're doing something. She should have been talking to Yash. Hey, Yash, you be crazy to take these two. Right. You know, you could beat me. You know, just because she was scheming and plotting sometimes, you know, doesn't mean that she was scheming the plot wouldn't matter the most. And I think this week she should have been locked in. She should have been burying them. Oh, and then they said this about you. And then they did this thing. But she got wrapped up in this friend bubble with Devin's and Angela.

[00:35:22] And they're the three best friends that anybody's ever had. And when they when they go to the block us, they're all holding hands. And to Angela, I think that is a win. I think she is such a big brother fan, such a survivor fan that this is great for her. But as far as winning the game, Angela could have did more this week. Yeah, I'll have more to say about the rest of the season in a minute. But yeah, to address this week. Yeah, she tried to lobby for herself.

[00:35:49] She was nowhere near as good as D was, obviously. And it was like you said, it was kind of weak. And yet we talked about D earlier. And that's the thing in Big Brother. It always comes down to a choice. D made her case to stay much better than Angela did. Angela, I don't think even knew what to tell Yash and Taylor to even have a chance of getting them to her side.

[00:36:14] And that's knowing that they were on her side to start with. They were on the side of keeping her her strategizing abilities. She started up here. D was down here. She couldn't even stay maintain level. She went the other way around. Yeah. But I am going to be much harder on her.

[00:36:38] And I think it deserves to be much harder on her than you were in terms of her overall strategizing. Because I think while she was out there saying, Melody didn't do anything until now, Barrett didn't do anything. I think she didn't do anything. Sure, she talked to people. She made friends with people. But what did she do with those things? You know, and some people, when I said that online, said, oh, no, Angela played plenty. And Angela, of course, believes the same thing.

[00:37:08] She told Mike Bloom, there wasn't very much that Dee did that I wasn't also a part of or didn't come up with some ideas on my own and share them with her. I feel like I was really at the forefront of most things. And I was already accumulating quite a resume. I don't buy that at all. The resume thing. There's a reason that, you know, you already said, and I think we're going to talk more later, that she wasn't going to win this season. But so I tried to look at what did Angela actually do in terms of scheming and plotting?

[00:37:39] Now, I've seen because this question came up online. So some of these things were fired at me. Some people said, well, she took over Devin's HOH and caused him to go after Rome. No, no. Did she bring it to him as a suggestion? Yes, she did. This is Devin's we're talking about. He was not going to do something if he didn't want to do it. She basically encouraged him to do something he came into the game wanting to do, which was making a big splash. But he did the work.

[00:38:09] He made the decisions. Angela talked about this to Dalton Ross, that it was her highest high of the season, saying, I felt like this like that was mine, even though it was Devin's HOH and his decision making. I was also a catalyst in that whole thing. So even she admits it was Devin's decision. And if that was her highest high, just basically suggesting something to an ally, it doesn't say much about any other moves she might have.

[00:38:39] Yeah, I mean, that's a really good point. I think that I have to give her more credit for at least trying to influence Devin's in a way. You know, like that's the thing. We have seen alliances come in where it is very clear who's in charge and they just pass the notes down to the people, the underlings, and then they come and do their bidding. Right. We kind of saw that this season with the icons. They tell Drew and Barrett what to go do. They go do it. Drew's running around the house, lying to all his real allies and coming back and telling them everything.

[00:39:09] They were doing the same thing with the red corner. But Angela was in those talks. She was having those strategic conversations with Devin. She was not getting the notes passed down to her all the time. Definitely sometimes. Definitely sometimes. And I do think that for her, again, the ceiling is not as high for me with Angela. I don't expect her to be able to do so well because I saw her the first time. Right. Like you said, go back to your first notes. Angela has a lot of deficits in this game. I will give her credit for at least trying to improve in those aspects.

[00:39:34] Now, of course, she obviously had the same type of bonus that the other icons had coming in with the built in alliance, essentially coming in with a free HOH. week with D getting that. But she was making the attempt in a way that a lot of people this season were not. Yeah. Yeah. And yeah, like I said, she improved. I just don't think she improved. She went about to win. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Another thing.

[00:40:03] Some people said she got the target placed on Jason. No, Jason got the target placed on Jason. Uh, you know, by telling people what he was doing, we discussed this all in the why Jason lost podcast. And then if you want to give credit to anyone else, Drew was the one who passed it along. She even started to doubt that what Drew had said about Jason because of who it had come from. So, no, she was not the one who got the target put on him. He did that to himself with Drew's help.

[00:40:33] Um, you mentioned she was talking to Lala and yes, she was part of the honor society alliance, but it was fake. And all she ever did with it was complain when Lala didn't do what she wanted. The fake alliance kept them safe, David. The fake alliance kept them safe. I mean, yeah, yeah. But was it even her starting it or was it Lala starting it? I'm trying to remember back. I feel like, I feel like it was Taylor who started. She was the one starting the most. Yeah.

[00:41:02] I feel like it might've been her, but again, pretending that it's real, you know, and then these people win at HOH, they did not target them and they should have, you know, and, uh, then the first chance, you know, D and Angela, and Devin's had to flip the script on them. They did. Um, I didn't know I was going to come in here defending Angela so much. Uh, yeah, no kidding. Yeah. Um, then some people were like, well, she won a blockbuster. Okay.

[00:41:26] That's not a move herself and making it even worse from a strategic standpoint. She knew how to win it. Thanks to Tucker. And she told Haley who told Kamu. She was just lucky. They were both so egotistical that they didn't listen. They didn't trust her. They said, all right. She don't know what you're talking about. Uh, no, uh, I agree with you a hundred percent on that one. You have, you have some insight. You've played this game before. You know, everything about this house. Cause it's the same house. They just move stuff around.

[00:41:55] I wouldn't tell anybody anything. I'd be like, nope. I wouldn't like that last year. I wouldn't tell them about the challenges that were coming up. I wouldn't tell them about the studying. If you don't know, you wouldn't get that information from me. Right. Right. Now I'm sure that someone can find a couple of things here or there that they'll say she did. You, you mentioned some prior to you saying those things. Every one of them that I've seen presented has been something that was either pointless or a knock against herself.

[00:42:22] Like when Angela tried to throw drew under the bus to come when she was, when he was HOH. Well, first of all, you shouldn't have been trying to throw drew under the bus. Cause he was loyal to you. Second of all, she started talking about the red corner and then realized she was revealing more about herself. And she was about him and had to quickly backtrack. And so even if you give like half points for a couple of these things, you need to then start subtracting points for all the times she told people things that were wrong.

[00:42:52] And they didn't act on them. Uh, blue skies wit said earlier this week while talking about the live feeds. I love watching D campaign with Angela. D will make some good point and we'll be making good ground. Then Angela just starts talking and just undoes any good work. D just did. I think your drew point is, is really strong as well because she spent, she was scheming and plotting against her ally that she'd never actually got out of the game.

[00:43:22] You know, it's just, it's very odd that she spent so much energy on whether or not I could trust drew drew who has to this point. We have not seen him turn on them yet, but a lot of her time, a lot of her energy was, can we trust you? What's drew doing? Where's drew going? Anyway, Angela was number one culprit with all of them. I'll say D was number two and Devin's was definitely number three, but make no mistake. Angela was leading the charge.

[00:43:48] So if you're scheming and plotting fine, but if you're scheming and plotting against your ally that you can trust, but just don't think you can trust. Yeah. There's no point in giving you points for that because you, like you said, you have to take away points at the same time. Yeah. Yeah. And so, you know, and again, besides that, and I'll have plenty more to say about the drew situation and the paranoia.

[00:44:14] There were other situations that she completely messed up. Like when she walked into the storage room last week and just told Barrett out of the blue that she trusted him. You know, Barrett talked about the ridiculousness of that moment and said Angela's acting was good for a low budget movie. And then even when it came to the basics of playing big brother, she still didn't understand certain aspects. We saw this week that she was surprised.

[00:44:41] Devin's checked in with Barrett after he won HOH and she said, well, I would never do that because I trust people in my alliance. Now, first of all. Okay. Be for real. Be for real. Be for Angela. Come on. Stop playing. Yeah. Yeah. But second, there's a whole discussion of the topic of check-ins in rule one. I say one thing players need to remember is to check in with your allies frequently to both ensure they're good and also give them comfort.

[00:45:10] The big brother week is long and going days without speaking to an ally can seem like forever, making one or both of you think something is wrong. So this interaction was so bad that it led to Devin's making his scaling quite hilarious comments about how hard it is to work with her and how she lives in a fantasy world where birds will come and make a dress. It's a good line, man. It's a good line. Oh, it did. Yeah. It's a great way. We got to use that more. Yeah.

[00:45:40] So, yeah, you know, in the Y, I told you that I would bring this up. In the Y Blank Lost podcast for Angela during Big Brother 26, I noted that she had, quote, massive paranoia and frequently invented things in her head that weren't happening. I added, she was overly paranoid about every conversation that went on in the house, leading her to turn on allies left and right until she finally settled down very late in the game.

[00:46:07] She would be on the outs, get pulled in by someone for one reason or another, and then turn on them. But as Quinn said about Angela, she's with you until she convinces herself that you are the problem. And then I also quoted Joseph at the time, as he had said to Mike Bloom about her, you don't know anything that's going on. And then he added to Entertainment Weekly, that's just been her the whole season. She just takes little things and recontextualizes it in her own way. She's super delusional as far as the game goes.

[00:46:35] And we've already, you know, broached the subject. It obviously continued this season. The paranoia, the certainty that she was right when she wasn't. It was all there. Now, I think most of it falls into emotional. So we'll talk about that more in rule four. But as just one pertinent to this rule from this week, she insisted that Drew was behind the nominations because, quote, my reads are pretty good.

[00:47:04] Barrett probably needed some convincing to do this. Yeah, this is bad. It's a bad time to have a bad read. You know, I think that in the past she's been able to get away with it because Devin's and D would go on the journey with her. Right. Like they definitely talked her down a few times. But there was a time where they would be they get right in the roller coaster ride with her and go on the Angela ride. Right. And then eventually the smoke will clear and then something good would happen for them.

[00:47:29] You know, they've they've they've kind of tripped and stumbled their way through this season and kind of on purpose. You know, there were definitely clear a path that they could take. But that paranoia was just leading them down spirals of nothing. They were just going down journeys and just wasting so much time and energy. If she wasn't so paranoid throughout the season, she could have made other meaningful connections with people. But she couldn't trust anybody. And it wasn't because anything they did.

[00:47:56] It was just because she woke up one day and she pulled an Angela. You know, it was nice to see that for once we saw her with people that she could just trust almost unconditionally with Devin's and D. But it shouldn't come down to, OK, well, we're all icons. We all, you know, played these games before. We are built in alliance with a bunch of powers. You should be able to do that with other people. And that is just one of the skills that Angela doesn't have.

[00:48:21] Yeah. Yeah. And, you know, I I said at the beginning, I agreed with you that she has played better this season. And that's the scary part, because even with all these criticisms, this was better. Again, I I credit D and Devin's with a lot of it. But also was. That although we talked about this a bit earlier, when she was on the block this season, she did campaign for herself. She didn't do a good job this time, but she at least tried.

[00:48:52] And that was generally not the case in her first season when it was typically the actions of others that saved her, not anything she did herself. So it all comes back full circle to the she still didn't do a good enough job this time. But she did better than the first time. Yeah, that's it. So. All right. Well, we can go to the second road, says not scheme and plot too much to keep your scheming secret.

[00:49:21] And in her first season, Angela's paranoia, which, you know, we'll talk about more in a couple of rules, caused her to over scheme quite a bit. This season, as we were just discussing, she had D and Devin's to rein her in, which they frequently had to do. I think they did a good job of protecting her from herself at times when otherwise she would have gone batshit crazy on someone.

[00:49:47] Now, one example of them stopping her was Devin's explaining to her how not to react early in the game because she was sure Yash was coming after her. And Devin's was like, look, you're going to cause a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you talk about it, he will find out about it and then he will have a reason to come and target you. It's good advice. It's good advice from Devin's who's played these games multiple times, but who don't have these same deficits that Angela has.

[00:50:17] She will go there with you. She will go down the paranoid journey with you for no reason. The middle of the week, you know, she just does. She just does it. I'll never forget her first season when she comes down the stairs clapping and talking, you know, dragging Matt Hartman. It's like, you're HOH. Why are you coming down like there was some type of plot to get you on the block? You're fine, you know, but that's just not how her brain works. When she decides that somebody is coming after her, she kind of goes for it.

[00:50:45] And because there's not really a rhyme or reason to it. But for me, yeah, you can make that mistake sometimes. Let's say, you know, no one's perfect. I don't think there's anybody who comes in here and doesn't have any like holes in their game at all. But to do it all the time where it becomes normal by the time the end of this, like the middle of the season was happening. People were just like, oh, yeah, that's just Angela. You know, she's just she's just paranoid because that's who she is. Well, that's going to make people not trust you as much if they don't think your judgment is good.

[00:51:12] So when you have these reads that are good, no one's going to take you seriously. And so when you have the bad reads, hopefully they would treat you the same. But yeah, she she's scheming and plotting a lot. It's just ineffective. Yeah, I mean, it's like the woman who cried wolf, you know, OK, maybe you, you know, a stop clock is right twice a day, you know, maybe occasionally she does catch something. But there were so many wrong things that she said that it made it worthless.

[00:51:40] Like, you can't believe every read from her, even though she was convinced. She even said at one point this week, she had a diary room where she said, I had a lot of good reads last season. No, no, you didn't. You had a lot of bad reads. Maybe you had a couple of good reads mixed in there, but they were mostly bad. And it's like, you know, you said you just said something about how people are not going to trust you.

[00:52:04] Well, D at one point told us in a camera talk that she loved Angela, but she couldn't give her all the information because if she told her, then Angela would go nuts and overplay. So she had to restrict the amount that she told her, which is not good from a tight ally. Yeah. And even when she isn't overplaying, there are times when Angela is so relaxed. To the point where she's too relaxed. You brought it up earlier.

[00:52:32] Why are you outing your alliances talking about, well, you know, they already knew. They already knew we were hanging. We were. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Angela. Hey, lady, chill. Why are you saying these things? Even if they did already knew you, you didn't have to say it. But she got to that point where when she when she she goes from it's like these big swings, right? Like these are like everybody's against us. We got to get them before they get us. And then, oh, my God, we're so comfortable. We're going to win the whole thing. Let me run my mouth about everything I know in the game.

[00:53:00] Um, it's just it's it's a it's a good TV character, right? Like you're never going to have a boring season of television while Angela is there. But oh, my God, the gameplay is so frustrating. Yes. Yes. All right. Well, the third rule talks about the need to be flexible. And while her relationship with reality was certainly flexible, that's not what I mean here. How do you think she did in a game sense?

[00:53:27] She's so she's everywhere, but she's not like I wouldn't even call it flexible. She's just like almost like like manic sometimes, you know, it's like you can't count on her to just be still, you know, for a plan to be laid. And then you just do nothing or you just go along with the plan all week. Angela is always going to go just astray. And I just I don't know if I can give her credit for flexibility because she definitely digs her heels in when she's wrong a lot.

[00:53:59] But she tried. I don't know that she tried. Yeah. No, I yeah, I would. I would not give her credit for flexibility. She was locked in with D and Devins, mostly D. Mm hmm. Until this week. You know, I mentioned this earlier. Did she really even try to talk game with Yasha Taylor? Did it barely? I mean, you know, again, that Taylor and Lala alliance was there, but did they ever really talk game? No.

[00:54:27] Even when she talked to Barrett and Drew, did she add anything novel to the conversations? No. No. And of course, she couldn't get away from being target locked on Drew as someone she couldn't trust, even as he did everything he could to help her. It didn't matter. Didn't matter. He was he was a problem. And I am not going to budge from that position.

[00:54:52] She to me, she's like she she knows what she should be doing, but she doesn't execute on any of it. So the thing with Lala, right, they start to kind of build a bond as the two older women in the house. They have their fights. But then toward the end, she's kind of like, I need to keep Lala around. But she didn't ever take the initiative to go and be like, Lala, we are going to get voted out. Devins and D will beat us. You know, I think I'm going to have to keep coming back to this fact that she was trying to go to the end with two people who would beat her in the game.

[00:55:23] I know Angela was, you know, like she was open to having these conversations with Lala and with, you know, Melody at points and with Mallory. But she never really ever had a plan to flip on the two people who are going to just drag her to the end. It's like, yes, Angela, there are things that you're doing in the game that I have to give you credit for.

[00:55:45] But if you're playing to lose on purpose, I have to say that you're not being flexible enough because, you know, if you were flexible, you would say, I love these two people. They got me far. How do I get further than them? You know, how do I get them out of the game? At no point was she going to target them. And even if she wanted to keep somebody else around to target them, she did not push. She did not try to make it happen. And there were chances to make it happen.

[00:56:10] Any time that, you know, when D is on the block, Angela should have been the biggest op to D, you know, or the biggest op to Devin's because for her, one of them surviving, it's fine. You know, they're still not going to take you out, but you don't need both of them there. Why would you want to do that? So, yeah, I have to dock her points for the flexibility on that one for sure. Yeah.

[00:56:31] Well, I think rule four might have another small area where we dock her for points because it says players should not let their emotions control them. I don't know. What do you think? Did we stumble on a small, small problem here? I feel like if we had to really dive into this rule, we would have to just basically go through each day of Terrence updates and just talk about every single thing she's ever done. She's so driven by emotion.

[00:57:01] It's incredible. I think about players like Big Meech, you know, from seasons ago where there's just like every time you look at them, they're just falling apart. Something somebody's pissed them off so bad that they can't they're crying or they're mad. They're arguing. They're fighting. She she is the most erratic player in Big Brother of recent years. And I just can't like and it's all emotion driven. Right. Like these these conversations are not all they're not all like rooted in strategy.

[00:57:29] Many of them are not rooted in strategy at all, you know, and then to think that you can act like that and still win the game. That thing's like it's kind of like Rachel Riley's first time playing Big Brother where it was just she was fighting with everybody, yelling at everybody. But Rachel could win comps. And so it made her she stuck around way longer than she should have, you know, and she had Brendan to win comps to save her for a little bit, at least. So that first time it was so much emotion.

[00:57:58] She was just a ball of energy and it wasn't good energy. It was negative energy. It was it was up. It was down. We saw Rachel last season and she was way more measured than she had ever been. Angela has still not figured out how to be measured in managing her emotions because right now they're all over the place. And you mute it still. Yeah, I don't know how that happened.

[00:58:25] I don't remember muting myself, but OK, it was it was it was those damn Big Brother producers. They're trying to get me to stop talking. That's what it is. So, yeah, I I mentioned in rule one that we'd have plenty of examples to discuss here. And, you know, you said, well, we'd have to go through like literally every update. I don't want to go that far, but we got a lot. You know, Devin said at one point, Angela plays emotionally. If she hears her name, that's it.

[00:58:53] But first, I also want to quote myself from the Why Leah and Angela Lost podcast two years ago. She could take any little thing out of context, get sudden delusions about it. And then the whirlwind begins. And most of it was driven by emotional insecurity. Oddly, most people get insecure when they feel they aren't safe. But Angela was usually the opposite. Just look at how it all started. She was the first H.O.H., the safest position in the house.

[00:59:20] But when people told her they wanted to work with her, she instead convinced herself they were all actors in a low budget movie. About a week after Tucker saved her and wanted to work with her, she convinced herself that he had turned on her. Also about a week after Leah had saved her, she saw late night laughing and assumed it must be about a plot to turn on her. Any time she saw someone whispering, she assumed it was about her. It just went on and on. And this obviously all came back in BB28.

[00:59:48] We even saw something similar to the Leah situation just last week when Angela saw a few of the younger players laughing and having fun in the backyard. And she ran to Dean Devins. They're plotting against you. They're plotting against you. And this was when Devins had to scold her for panicking and noting they're friends with each other. They're going to talk. D told her to chill. And in response, Angela said, if I weren't part of the team, I'd have been going off.

[01:00:17] So again, this shows the one thing she had this time that she didn't have last time were two people to keep her a little bit more in check. Yeah. See, to me, Angela, like I said, all of those things that we talked about were personality traits. That's just her, you know. But I think also the big brother brings out that in her even more because she's such a big fan of the game. And she's in there with people and she wants to play hard and she wants to be this big character.

[01:00:47] And so she just gets in that house and she forgets all of the things that she's learned. Right. She just gets in there and she's at home. And, you know, we see her emotions in everything. Right. Even her eviction speeches and stuff like that. You know, people should not be covering their mouth laughing at you while you're pleading for your life. You know, those are moments of emotion that even though it's good, you know, you can't get wrapped up in that. And Angela, she's going to go to the extreme every time.

[01:01:14] So, again, somebody who's fascinating to watch, but also a disaster when it comes to maneuvering through the game, because no one's going to want to keep you around if you're doing that and you're not winning competitions. What good are you? Yeah. Right. Yeah. I mean, even with Dee and Devin's helping, nothing could contain the monster of emotion and paranoia that lived inside Angela like Mr. Hyde in Dr. Jekyll.

[01:01:39] And she even knew it because coming into the show and occasionally during the season, she acknowledged her paranoia. Like in mid-August on the live feeds, she said, we are in charge of how we react. I don't react well. I act a fool. Yep. Then she told Mike Bloom, I want my point to come across and I want them to feel it how I'm feeling it. And I don't mind confrontation when you are so in your feels and you want to let them feel it and let the other people know.

[01:02:07] You can't really do that in the real world. But in there, the walls are just closing in on you. The stakes are high. The pressure is intense. I just sometimes just blow up and I'm shocked at myself that I do it sometimes. Yeah. I mean, you just basically said the exact same thing that she did. Yeah. And there were plenty of times. So I do want to dive into a few of them here. Starting with the most obvious, the situation with Drew. You know, we've already previewed this or pre-Drewed it.

[01:02:39] She just got so paranoid early on and it kept growing for dumb Angela reasons. Like she saw him come out of the gym when she believed certain other people were in there. They weren't wrong. Or not liking how he approached them. You know, on the July 22nd episode, she talked about how she saw right through him. Except she was only seeing her own paranoia reflected back at her. However, it kept getting worse and worse.

[01:03:08] If he talked to the icons, it was all he won't leave us alone. If he didn't talk to them, it was what is he up to now? In late July, she called him a freaking dick that wouldn't get off her back. He was doing literally nothing to hurt them and everything he could to help them. She even acknowledged in one of her interviews that he saved them at one point.

[01:03:30] And now I think she may have gone to the jury believing he is some mastermind running the house who deserves to win if he makes it to the end. Now, wouldn't that be the funniest outcome of it all? To have her act this way and then at the end somehow have him make it to the end and have her, Dee, and Devin's propel him to a win? That would be crazy. That'd be insane. But that's Angela, you know, like her emotions are making these decisions for her.

[01:03:58] And, you know, like even just think about how many fights she's had in the house, you know, like with almost everybody. But even the positive emotions, David, this this week, she decided, you know, it was cute. Drew and Melody. Y'all are adorable. Y'all are sober. I can't wait for y'all to get married and have like Angela. Angela, calm down. Relax, lady.

[01:04:22] It got to the point where Melody is uncomfortable about the amount of emotion you're pouring into someone else's business. You know, so it's not even just about being volatile and being paranoid. It's that when you you go so far in one direction, it starts to get overbearing. People don't like that. You know, you know, you know, we know you have to play nice, but you could be too nice.

[01:04:44] And for Angela, those moments, like it's bad when somebody has to tell you to stop talking about their love life because that is making them uncomfortable. You know, it's a very positive thing to be pushing, but it's not choice to push Angela. But once again, once she started to feel she moved. I posted on Blue Sky. She needed a conjugal visit from her Chuck. She does. She loves that man. She loves it. She loves the ground. You walk on. Yeah. Yeah.

[01:05:14] And so even aside from those things and her outright paranoia, both those emotions, the positive, the negative, mostly the negative, but they were so out of her own control. Maggie Morgan posted or pointed out in an RHAP recap sometime in late August. How other people have to like play around her. You might do something completely normal, but if it upsets her, all hell might break loose.

[01:05:41] Now, again, this season, it was held in somewhat better because she would often run to D or Devin's instead of blowing up right then. But this week was a there was a funny example of Barrett trying to explain to her that nominating all three icons was a game move saying, I hope you don't take any of this personally at all. Really? You're telling Angela not to take something personally? And of course, she replied that she did.

[01:06:10] At least she was honest. Yeah. Yeah. But, you know, it's funny because going to Angela and saying, I hope you don't take this personally at that point is your fault because you should have known. You should have known. You know what I'm saying? You got to know who she was. Yes. Yes. This is that reference to Ozzy and Survivor 50 with Christians like I didn't think Ozzy was going to take it as bad. I was like, well, Christian, you should have thought harder because everybody else would have thought Ozzy would have taken as bad. Of course, Angela was going to take it personally. Right. Right.

[01:06:38] And that emotion just was constantly bubbling there. I think the best example was when she lied to Haley about her vote in the Lyric eviction. This is Big Brother. People lie. She knows that. She's a big fan. But this was a similar situation to the Matt one. She could not hold it in. She was lying in bed. It was swirling through her brain overnight.

[01:07:05] First thing in the morning, she had to run and admit it to Haley. And then when Chagmu, Dee, and Yash pulled her into the gym, she completely blew up at Haley, which was, I mean, they did poke the bear until the bear growled and roared. But, I mean, it was just, yeah, it was all because of herself. Look at Dee. Dee lied. And you know what? I think Dee would still lie if Haley were still in the house.

[01:07:35] She'd still stick to that lie. This lady folded so fast. She folded like a lawn chair. It took no time. It took no time. What is the point of lying if you're just going to fold? You should have known. And that's the thing, Angela, you should know you. You should have gone into that being like, I can't be the one who's lying because I'm a crack. I'm a crack like the egg that I am. And instead, she went along with it only to, like you said, lay in bed and put herself into a frenzy to where she's like, I can't do it. I can't lie. I can't do it.

[01:08:00] It's like, Angela, I understand not wanting to be able, not being able to lie. Everybody's not able. But you're also playing big freaking brother, as you keep reminding us. And once you've got to the point where you need to tell the truth at the detriment of our games, you are now a detriment to our games. It is. I just don't think D. If D had known Angela, the player prior to coming in, I think D and Devin's run for the hills.

[01:08:27] But I think that because they needed that built in alliance and because Angela was so eager to work with them, you know, obviously they take her in. But yeah, we all saw this alliance at the beginning and knew that there was going to be one person who sticks out like a sore thumb and not because she just played big brother. Right. Right.

[01:08:45] And, you know, even with those three, Angela still got all in her emotions claiming that she was frustrated just this week said the icons came in with targets on their backs. And I felt like we were hearing the return of Haley. I just want to say, oh, you poor thing. You had such a rough first half of the game. What with one of you automatically being the first HOH, all three of you winning the first three viewer votes. We talked about this already.

[01:09:15] We understood it. It was the public rigging aspect of things. So sad that you came in with a target. But again, this was emotion talking, not any form of logical thinking. Her last words in the game, David, are please don't be mean to the returning players. You might be a returning player. Angela. Yeah. Angela. Get out. Get out of the damn house. It's time. It's like she wouldn't go. I'm like, Julie. She wouldn't go. I thought Julie was going to have to come out there with the hook.

[01:09:45] Sam and I are off the stage. I was just like, Angela, you're in here preaching to people about how you felt. Like I'm targeted. I came in with a target. I'm about it might be you next time. You shouldn't treat people unfairly because they're girl. Nobody care. Nobody care. You didn't ran through this game with these other icons. And y'all done what y'all wanted to do. And now you're going to lecture these people about why, you know, the threat that they think y'all are at the final six at the final seven. Angela. What? It's time. Y'all stop saying it's too early. It is not too early.

[01:10:14] It is time. Yeah. Yeah. Get out. Get out of the house. I'm so annoyed. That really did bother me. I was like, girl, if you don't get your ass off this house. Leave them people alone. All right. Well, we can move on to the fifth rule, which says players need to pretend to be nice and play the social game. And I said in Big Brother 26 that her social game was a roller coaster.

[01:10:44] And I would say the same thing here. There were times when she came across like a concerned mom who was taking care of the others. But then she'd start screaming at one of them. And then she'd cry and apologize up, down, through the loop, the loop. They went. Frankly, I don't know how other people dealt with it. And yet I don't really think her social game was a reason for her leaving, at least not directly.

[01:11:07] It may have had an impact on some things we'll discuss later about her threat level, but they didn't specifically get rid of her because they just couldn't stand her anymore. Would you would you describe Angela as nice? Wow. I didn't know there was going to be a pop quiz. Outside the game, I would say she is nice. From everybody that I have heard who has had interactions with her.

[01:11:37] She seems lovely outside the game. You know, and like she shouted out that huge Big Brother fan. Yeah. Very nice. I think. This is controversial. I think she is a nice person. Not inside of the Big Brother game. Exactly. That's what I'm getting at. Like this lady might be nice outside. But once she's in there, like it's like, lady, you could be nice. We know you have the capacity.

[01:12:05] But she gets into her own head and then she decides I'm going to be mean. You know, you pointed out in that interview, she said, when I feel something, I need to make you feel what I feel. You know, and this is not nearly as bad as it was the first time. Right. When she's walking around calling Lisa a twit and all that kind of stuff. We didn't get to that point. Right. But Angela had smoke for everybody. Everybody. Anybody could get it. That wasn't the icons this season. You know, her and her and Thog. She was hopping in that fight between Thog and Lala. Her and Lala. I was getting into it a couple of times.

[01:12:35] Angela. Relax. You got to relax. The goal is to want these people to want you around. And she got very swept up in. I finally have an alliance that does want me around. But then you isolate the rest of the house by not, you know, pretending to be nice with them. Angela and Melody should have had a better relationship in the game. Angela and Mallory. They did at times. But it took way too long. You again, if you were trying to win the game, it doesn't matter if the icons like you. You don't need them there. You need them out.

[01:13:04] So you need to go be nice to other people so they will take the icons out. Maybe not early on. Right. Keep them around the first few weeks. But as we're approaching jury. Yeah. Angela, there's no reason why you should be out of that house and not them. You know, but you did not use your ability to be nice. You didn't weaponize that against them. You did not pretend to be nice enough to where they were like, no, we just can't get rid of Angela. And people were like, no, she can go. Honestly, the more I think about it, she can go. And that's how she got voted out.

[01:13:33] Well, yeah, I mean, you know, like I said, and like you said, these were not necessarily the reason she was evicted, but it also didn't stop her from being evicted. So we still, of course, need to go over some of the insanity because it's a lot. Well, it's a lot. I'm going to even start with one that happened this week with Angela yelling at Yash. Put it on your brother. Put it on your brother. She was on the block. She was in danger.

[01:14:01] She was yelling at someone who had a vote in front of everyone else. To say that it was not the smartest thing to do would be way understating. Now, do I think that's why Yash voted her out? No. Can I rule out? Was it in the back of his mind? Also, no. I can only imagine it would be difficult to be objective about some woman twice your age screaming and pointing at you that way, even knowing full well he had lied.

[01:14:29] And you need Yash. Not only do you need his vote, but if you were to survive this round, you need him because you cannot sit next to Devin's and win. I think that watching the show, it's hard to conceptualize that Angela should want to win the game because I think she's so far past that at this point. Right? We never saw her, not in diary room, not in the house, plotting on how she was going to get these other two out. I think she was perfectly fine with going to the end and seeing what was happening. Maybe she thought, OK, I'm being nicer to Dee.

[01:14:59] Dee and I have, you know, I'm her other number one. She'll clearly take me over Dee. That's great for second place, you know, but what's going to get Yash to take you even further? Not yelling at him across the table and starting to fight with him at, you know, while you're on the block. Angela, come on, man. You played this already. You've done this game already. You've seen it done. But she just can't get out of her own way. That's why I said Angela is a fascinating character because it's like she can only be her. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[01:15:27] Another thing that I was going to bring up here, you already mentioned, which was Angela creepily harassing Melody and Drew about their relationship, whatever that relationship is. Even Julie called her obsessed. It's true. You just don't go talking to people about that, no matter what you believe you saw. I mean, Melody and Drew voted for her to stay. But during the week after that happened, Melody at least considered voting her out in part for that reason. That was nice, though. Right. It was nice. She was playing.

[01:15:57] No. She'd be nice. That's not nice. I mean, that melody does. Melody has done everything she can to avoid being embarrassed by this on TV. Yeah. It took her getting drunk to do so much as play footsie with Drew. Something like that. And yes. Yes. And. She has this woman more than twice her age coming up to her.

[01:16:24] And being like, oh, I saw what you two did. Tee hee hee. I don't want that on national television. I would have voted her ass out. I would. I don't see it. Look, I know strategy. That's why I always have to preface everything I say with. I would never do good in this game. This is not a game that I can win. Because stuff like that is going to make me like, you know what? Honestly, you the ops. Let me let me go ahead and get rid of you. Who wants to vote on Angela? I'll vote with you. It's fine. I got it. Whatever I need. You know, it's it's too much.

[01:16:51] You know, like it's pretend to be nice, but also play the social game. Be aware of other people's social cues. See what they don't like and react to it. You clearly Melody's not enjoying this conversation. Clearly Drew's not enjoying this conversation. And Angela's doubling down. She's like, oh, y'all in love. Yep. Y'all live each other. Yep. That's what this is. Angela. And she's just describing where she was. I was sitting right there. And you were right. Angela. Yeah. Catch the hint. We don't want to talk about this. So, yeah. And we're looking for people who can read the room.

[01:17:21] Angela. She definitely struggles with that. No. No. Yeah. Now, another thing that she does not understand about the social game was revealed last week when Drew was HOH. Because she said it was so funny to her that people like Chogmu and the icons could be all up in the HOH room when Dee or Haley or Devin's were HOH. Excuse me. But the others only came in for group things.

[01:17:49] When Drew became HOH, the other people went up there more. First of all, not that many people went up to see Drew, I have to tell you. Second of all, this is your big revelation? That people who are friendly with each other tend to hang out together more than those who aren't? I mean, yeah. I'll call them the younger crew. The FAP crew, mostly. They didn't like Chogmu. Why would they want to go hang out with them?

[01:18:18] They, at least in theory, do like Drew. So, of course, they're going to hang out with him. And you know what else, Angela? Angela, nothing was stopping you from going up to Drew's HOH room and hanging out with him. She just wanted to complain about it instead. And it's the hypocrisy of the icons has really been annoying the people online. Angela is such a hypocrite. She's such a hypocrite. When her people were in power, she was in there. She was in that HOH room.

[01:18:43] Matter of fact, when Thog was in power, Angela did not leave the room for like two days. They were in there together. You would have thought they had a final two. And I don't know if that's Angela trying to work her social game. Or a showman. Yeah. Or that too. But I don't know if that's Angela trying to like really reel in Thog. Maybe that is. But you're doing it at the detriment of the other people in the house. They see you up there. So when the weeks come by and it's like, you think Angela would target Thog? No. She's been sleeping in that room all week. Of course, she's not going to target Thog.

[01:19:13] It's the only person she talks to right now. So for her to be telling people not to run up to the HOH room and spend a lot of time with somebody because they have power, it's rich. You know, this is, you know, what do they say? Hypocrisy lane. She's going down hypocrisy lane. You know, like careening off the hypocrisy cliff. Yes. And then one more thing I want to mention is Angela's attempts at emotional manipulation.

[01:19:39] We have seen her cry with big air quotes multiple times without shedding any tears. But this week she upped the ante. She went to ask Barrett if she was going to be safe. And of course, found out she wasn't. Out came a single tear slowly running down her cheek. I mean, if this had been like a movie or TV show, someone would have been there with an eyedropper to make sure that it was this perfect.

[01:20:06] It's like she could control it for dramatic effect. Now, it obviously didn't work. But then the funny thing was when she left, she basically told on herself to us because we saw she wasn't sad. She was angry. She swore on her way down the stairs. Had to get her mouth blurred from it. And then she told us how mad she was. Total attempt at manipulation that absolutely failed. But I will give her her tens on that one. That one tear. That's incredible.

[01:20:35] That's that. Hey, that's some Anne Hathaway shit that she pulled off. I said, I know you didn't get the one to sit there, too. It didn't work. But hey, if you were able to turn it on like that, I got to give you credit where it's due. And that is impressive. Yeah. Yeah. I'll give her that. Yeah. The queen of white lady tears. I'm sorry. I have to say it. That lady just be weaponized. And I mean, dear God, every that's that's why it's the. Like you said earlier, the woman who cried wolf. Lady, if you cry about everything, I don't care when you cry, you know?

[01:21:05] And so, yeah, she she was in her bag that time with that one tear, though. But I had to go out and I had to remember to say that Angela, she really she really be caring and when she want to. Yes. Didn't she ask one of them that? Because she know. Because she know she she wanted them to tell her. No, no, Angela. Girl, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know what's going on. Stop playing me. Don't piss me off. All right.

[01:21:33] Well, the sixth rule says not to be too much of a threat. And here we have a very strange and important situation. Because was Angela a threat in any of the usual ways? Could she win comps? Could she convince people to do what she wanted? Could she swing votes? Could she win the game? No, no, no. And probably not. But that's what made the situation interesting, because it turns out the same thing happened in Big Brother 26.

[01:22:02] Kimo said to T-Corps early in the game, keeping Angela is not a bad idea. She can just professionally be on the block. Quinn further called it out, saying that getting nominated against her would almost ensure you went home. Kelsey later told Angela essentially the same thing, that she was the perpetual pawn and anyone next to her was in danger. Fast forward to this season, and Devins was telling players like Yash and Taylor, if they sat next to him, he'd go.

[01:22:31] But if they were to sit next to Angela, they'll go. Or as Taylor told Yash, Angela not being a threat is a threat. Yeah, because she's not going anywhere, right? She's taking up a slot. She's taking up a seat at that final three breakfast or whatever. So you do have to look at her like, OK, if no one's ever going to vote you out, that means eventually they're going to have to pick you over me. And so I think that's very valid.

[01:22:57] But also, Angela, again, you're in a very public alliance. Everybody knows the icons are working together. Everybody. Angela could have came in, worked with the icons and said, you know what? We don't need a survivor player to win this game. Let me go talk to the newbies because we need this to be a big brother player. This is our season. We're not going to let the survivor. She could have othered them. And she had she had a good relationship with Jason, who turned out to also have been an icon that they didn't know about.

[01:23:24] But again, she was so in bed with the with the icons that they knew that, OK, we have to put Angela up next to Devin's Angela up next to D. There could be other options. You know, even when we're talking about Drew saying I'll take Angela down because then we could put up Yash Barrett left her up there. He left her up there. There's no reason why you should still be sitting on that block, Angela. But again, people looked at y'all as a package deal.

[01:23:53] They didn't think you were going to ever break ranks with them. And so, yeah, you're not a threat in a vacuum sometimes, but you're definitely a threat as an alliance, a big blaring threat like people to the point where people at home are really upset that somehow y'all made it this far in the game. Yeah, this was something really I didn't think about it for some reason, but it should have been brought up in rule two because obvious alliances, you know, obvious duos or trios should be taken out. Yeah.

[01:24:22] Now, the thing is, with her being this threat for not being a threat, D, of course, pushed this narrative, just as I mentioned, Devin's did. If Angela stayed, she posed a threat to the other players on the block against her. But also, there was the issue that she was not a threat to win cops. Yash and Taylor should have recognized this as a reason to keep her instead of D.

[01:24:48] But as we discussed earlier, D twisted or misted their minds so much that they believed having D, the comp threat there, was better because she would work with them to get rid of Barrett, Drew, and Melody. And you needed a comp threat for that, which Angela was not. So like I said, this should have made them realize D was more of a threat considering much of Yash's game is based on winning comps. But here we are.

[01:25:18] And they focused on her non-threat threat regarding being on the block, but went against the actual threat of D being more likely to put them on the block. Yeah. And she's been threatening to these people all season, right? And it's not so like as that big alliance for sure, right? So we're at the jury phase. And now all of a sudden, these people are supposed to go pick up Angela as a number. She hasn't done that work. She has not done the work with Yash. There were moments where they had good feelings toward each other. Make no mistake. Same thing with Taylor.

[01:25:47] They had some good moments, but you haven't done the work. You haven't done the work to maintain those relationships. And so throughout the season, they've known if you win, one of us is going up. So in a way, they were threatened by you from jump. Not to any of your doing, just your proximity to all the power. And so for you to get to this point and now they're like weighing the pros and cons, they don't have any real reason to believe that if Angela won HOH, she wouldn't put them up. They just would have a better chance of beating her.

[01:26:15] But, you know, aside from that, it's not like you could say, well, at least we're safe with Angela. You're not. You know, if for some reason she comes up on HOH win, whatever that may be, because I think the little, the little, Julie said the little sword competition was coming up or something like that. Yeah. For the veto. Yeah. And she didn't do bad in that the first time. She's played that challenge before. Angela could have come away with that win. Who knows? But even then, they don't know. They don't trust you to not vote for that, you know, to put them up.

[01:26:43] You say you want to go after Drew and Barrett, but who can really go off your word? So, yeah, she, you know, it's crazy that somebody who lacked so much power in the game was able to be such a threat to all these people. So, yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, the seventh rule says to trust almost nobody. Considering Angela's paranoia level, do you think she ever trusted anyone enough to that level? I mean, maybe D? Yeah, I'll give her D and Devins. I'll give her that.

[01:27:12] I still think it's outlier. I don't even know about Devins. I'll give her D. I'm not even 100% sure on Devins. I think she trusted them enough, right? I think, I think as far as like, she trusted D way too much. Yeah. I think at no point did she think she was ever going to vote out D and that's fine. If that's what you want to do, go to the final two and lose to D. Fine. But with Devins, I think, yeah, they, she definitely has some trepidation, but everybody else, everybody else is up for grabs. Everybody, every single other person in that house has betrayed Angela's trust unbeknownst to themselves.

[01:27:42] They've just walked into the room and Angela didn't trust them all of a sudden. Like she, like she, she trusted two people so much, but she didn't give anything to the people around her. And so, yeah, I'll, I'll give her that because the, the vets also had her game in their hands the entire time. She was fine with the, with riding with them. But if they decided that they wanted Angela out like they did this week, she went, you know? And while she's sitting around being like, you know, it's just not time.

[01:28:11] It's just not time. I'm D I won't really campaign against you, but you know, it's just kind of like soft planet. D is at a full court press by Thursday. Uh, and I don't even think she knew. I don't think she knew that D was working so hard to save herself and it's at the detriment of Angela. So yeah, she trusted D too much because if at least D should have told you, all right, me and you will stay in the house. I'm going to make sure that it's you that they pick over Devins. No, D was trying to save herself.

[01:28:37] And Angela was, uh, just a by-product of D's, uh, you know, active gameplay. Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. All right. Well, this week we need to add in a discussion of appendix a technically, I guess we should have added it last week. Oops. Um, which is about the jury phase of the game and deals with how Angela was doing and preparing to possibly be at the end, as well as whether the other remaining players did what they needed

[01:29:04] to get her on their side at the end and how she'll impact the jury to start. I know that some people thought she had a shot at winning. If she made it all the way, I think Rob even mentioned it at some point. I thought she might, I don't see it. And by your hand gestures, I'm guessing. Humbug. Yeah. Phooey. Um, of course it would have depended on who she was up against.

[01:29:30] If D and Devins were already jurors by then, that's two free votes. I think they would have voted for her. You only need four. Drew would have probably given her another one if she were up against Taylor or Yash. But I still think that's her best case scenario. I can only dig up three votes maximum that way. So, I mean, you know, with all we've talked about, she wasn't exactly giving other people good reasons to vote for. Exactly. Right.

[01:29:58] Like, okay, you got two built-in votes automatically. And then like a possible Drew, mind you, a possible Drew who you've been trying to take this entire time. So if somehow Angela makes it to the final two, that's not going to be something nobody notices, including Drew, right? It's going to get with him. If he's on the jury, people are going to say, oh, Angela's been coming after you for weeks. She was just, you know, she's always, she came back and told us all this stuff about you. And he's going to be like, I didn't even do that stuff. I was loyal to you the whole time. So I can't even just guarantee that she would get Drew's vote.

[01:30:26] Um, if Angela is breaking all the rules we talked about prior to this and she continues to break them and somehow finds herself in the final two, I have, I find it hard to believe that she would get more than two votes. Yeah. Yeah. Now, as far as other players and how she'll impact the jury, I think it's obvious if D makes it, she's voting for D. If Devin's makes it and not against D, she's voting for Devin's. Um, I do think after that, if neither of those two make it and Drew is there, I think she votes for Drew.

[01:30:57] Uh, we discussed that earlier. If you know that presuming neither survivor player is there, I think she'd almost certainly vote for Barrett next because she did admit privately that it was a good move. She just didn't like it. And then Yash, if it came down to somehow Taylor or Melody, I don't know how that one would

[01:31:19] go, but I also don't feel like other players so much did things to get her on their side specifically in terms of jury managing her. It's just her feelings. So I think it would be her feelings about those two, how they literally, how they make her feel or she'll listen to what D and Devin's tell her to do. Yeah. I don't trust, uh, Angela as a juror at all. She is the type of person that you do not want to, we, we talked about this.

[01:31:47] You don't want these people making the jury because they will be a bad juror. Angela is a bad player who will be a bad juror. And we can, uh, harken back to big brother 26 where she's up there with Chelsea and she's sitting there in the, uh, at the round table and saying like, I don't know, Chelsea didn't do all that stuff. Everybody, everybody is, is going to bat for Chelsea except Angela, except Angela, ma'am, ma'am, stop playing, stop playing.

[01:32:15] Everybody like Chelsea is regarded as one of the best winners that the show has seen. And Angela is on film fighting against that. You know, we saw that on the episode. So I'm like, nah, Angela, I don't trust you. And so, um, for her to get to this point and yeah, we kind of know that she's probably drawing dead to some extent, but she, her not voting for somebody to me is a more of a, that's more up on par for Angela than anything that they could have done. Right.

[01:32:42] Like, you know, like we think she would vote for Drew, but what if she just gets paranoid on the last second and decides I'm not voting for Drew actually, you know, um, who knows who can really predict what Angela is going to do? Right. Right. All right. Well, it is about time to wrap things up. So what are your final thoughts about Angela? I know we just spent an hour talking about all the things she did wrong, but I have to

[01:33:12] give her credit because I don't think I thought the other Angela, she didn't even make it as far as she did the first time. And I think this was way better. Obviously there's alliances and stuff that she kind of was gave, uh, advantages that she benefited from. But even that, I think if you sit that next to the Angela from the past, I think you could see a market improvement on Angela's game and abilities in the game. She's probably going home. She's heard the feedback.

[01:33:40] She's probably seen some of the show, some of the shit she'd just be making up in her head, but that's Angela. But I think ultimately, although she broke all these rules, I always thought she would. I think when we did our previews, uh, preview podcast, I said, Angela can't win this game. Uh, I did the round table and I was going to give her like a three or four one time. And I was like, no, cause she can't win the game. Like I just, like, and she wasn't even in a bad spot. I just know she cannot do the, she cannot win the game. That is an Angela ism. That's just the thing. Everybody's not going to be able to win big brother. Look at Kaser.

[01:34:07] Um, but not to say that Angela and Kaser are on the same boat, but they're not going to win the game. It's not happening. And so for me, I was happy to see the improvements. I think she was somehow more pleasant than she was the first time, which is crazy. But at the same time, Angela was on borrowed time throughout the season. I'm glad she got to live her dream twice. She's a real fan and I will never knock a real fan for getting up to go and live out their dreams on big brother. But Angela was bound to lose. And it just, it just took this long to get there.

[01:34:37] Yeah. Well, I, I, I don't know. I think I've spent the last hour knocking her and I'll continue to do so, you know, she did come. She had the chance to come into big brother 28 and play a completely different game. She had in 26. But come on, we knew that wasn't going to happen. Even, even she knew that probably wasn't going to happen with that said, like you mentioned, she did make some improvements though.

[01:35:04] Again, as we've discussed, a lot of the credit goes to D and Devin's for keeping her worst and most chaotic qualities in check. Plus I'm still going to say the two of them basically carried her in the game. Overall. As Devin said to D, it must be nice to be Angela just to float through the game and have anyone want to take you to the end. Angela herself told Mike Bloom being aligned with them was a huge thing in my game. And it definitely got me to where I got in the game.

[01:35:32] Of course, she still believes she did a lot of other things, especially compared to certain other players. I still say she's wrong. Even when she was involved in decisions, someone else had the final say. The one time she could have really tried to sway people was in this vote. Attempting to work on ensuring they stayed on her side.

[01:35:57] Instead, she barely did anything while D and Devin's went to work hard. While they were trying to convince Yash and Taylor that there were good reasons to keep them. She was busy staring creepily at Melody and Drew in the pool and then telling them about it that could have actually lost their votes. She had the perfect argument to explain why she was better for Yash and Taylor if she had used it properly.

[01:36:24] But D took it and twisted it all up to use against her instead. Of course, one reason she was even in this position was that she hadn't really talked to Yash and Taylor much to begin with. She had her little group. Her paranoia caused her to believe that anyone else even speaking to those outside the alliance were up to no good. Her emotional outbursts didn't exactly make people want to keep her around either. And I still wonder, like I said, if that's at least was somewhat in the back of Yash's

[01:36:53] head when he decided to go with D. Who wants that kind of chaos around if there's an option to get rid of it? Angela found herself in the position of being a perfect jury goat for the season. But she didn't make good arguments for people to see her that way and allow D to take over the whole conversation by turning it around on her. And that is why Angela lost. Yeah. You know we're going to see this lady on TV again.

[01:37:22] I'll be looking forward to you talking about her on The Traitors. Yes. Because she will be that faithful. We all know which faithful that is. Yeah, I think Rob talked about that. Yeah. Put her on The Traitors. Make her a faithful. She already is crazy and paranoid and emotional. You make her a faithful, crazy and paranoid and emotional. Get that in me. Oh, my God. They're going to get that in me. That's it. It's a wrap. So, yeah.

[01:37:52] All right. Well, everyone should be sure to stay tuned for our predictions in a moment here, which are spoiler free written before we knew anything that was going on here. But first, a few other things. The rules that we just referenced here are very similar to the survivor rules, which is why the survivor players should know them. And you can get those in a shorter and much more colorful version as a poster. Go to RobHasWebsite.com slash YXLostFeed. Scroll down to the poster. Click on it. Order it.

[01:38:23] They also come in T-shirt form. And you can get this checklist for the rules also as a T-shirt. I know. We don't have Big Brother versions. I know. But, you know, for now, Survivor is coming. So, you know, it's a perfect time to load up on this stuff for the survivor season ahead. So, again, that's RobHasWebsite.com slash YXLostFeed. Now, additionally, Big Brother, it's a 24-7 game.

[01:38:53] So, you need to make sure you follow us on social media to get all of our thoughts throughout the week. I post videos every day. TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram where I'm at David Bloomberg TV. I've been making two or three per day. Fun stuff from the show. The live feeds. My thoughts on what's happening. And so, make sure you go there. Also, keep an eye out tomorrow for the YBlank Lost Survivor 51 preview as Jessica Lewis and

[01:39:22] I do a quick rundown of the new players. On top of that, I've been podcasting about various international seasons of the Traders on the Trader Podcast. That's T-R-A-I-D-A-R. This week, I discussed the Australia Season 3 finale and the Traders Ireland Season 2, or, yeah, Season 2, Episode 6. I'll be back with more of Ireland each week. The Traders US starts next week. Up against Big Brother. Ooh. The Traders Canada starts the week after.

[01:39:51] I will be on all of those as well. And you can find all of my various accounts and links at Linktree slash David Bloomberg, including my Blue Sky where both of us make our social media homes and we encourage everyone else to do likewise for your Big Brother discussions. Yes, I am at Chappelle's Kickback and David is at David Bloomberg. You can also find me at Recap Kickback or RecapKickback.com. That's where I'm doing most of my podcasting. But just like David, got a lot of stuff going on.

[01:40:21] I had to pull out my phone to look at the list because the calendar is wild. But on Sundays, I'm talking about Rock of Love live with Chantel Francis coming up this week. Gia and I will be starting our Why Did I Get Married series. We're going to be talking about all of the films in sequential order. And so check that out this week. That should be out by Thursday. Mari and I are still talking about the newest iteration of Snowfall. The Drop colon A Snowfall Saga is out.

[01:40:49] We have our episode one recap up and we will have episode two out very soon. Our recent review of Tyler Perry's Beauty in Black is already up as well. And then A Different World is coming to Netflix. And so we'll be doing a series review of that when it drops too. But you can only keep up with all of that by subscribing, RecapKickback.com slash subscribe. And then, of course, you can catch me here on RHIP talking about the slop, the sloppy content from the Big Brother house. And then I'm still doing Big Brother Unlocked.

[01:41:18] And if I'm not mistaken, I think Miss Felicia is coming to talk to me next week. So, yeah, that should be a fun time talking about Unlocked. On Unlocked or on the slop? Because I've seen some of her opinions on what used to be Chap BCC and they are very sloppy. Oh, yeah. Well, her sloppy opinions are going to be on the big screen this time on Unlocked. So, yeah, we're going to talk about it there. And then, of course, once Survivor starts, David Club Kondo is back, too.

[01:41:46] So there's a lot of Chappelle coming your way. But, yeah, make sure you tune into all of our content and more. Yeah. All right. So predictions. Again, did this before we knew anything, which was easy because we didn't know anything when I went to bed. It went on for a long time, whatever the heck they were doing. So my thought was that the HOH comp would be some sort of booth type comp.

[01:42:14] Like I said, I thought this before I saw how long it went. I still don't know what it was, but it might have been a booth. It was a really long booth if it was. And I think Yash will actually try to win this one because, well, he has, you know, D and maybe Devin's on his side. So might as well try to win it and get this bribe taken care of. And I think he'll succeed because he just seems to win almost everything that he tries to win.

[01:42:42] And so then what's going to happen? Well, there are three obvious people to put up. I think that the target will be Drew. And I think they'll actually get him out. Yeah, that'd be interesting. Yeah, that'd be interesting. I think that for me, you know, I go with what I would like to see. And I really would.

[01:43:04] I want to see Drew and what he would do in this situation, because Drew just got blindsided by his allies who he did kind of vote out. And so I'm kind of thinking, OK, well, if Drew wins HOH, sure, Yash might be up there. Maybe Taylor might even be up there. But who's the third nominee? Is it going to be his dad, Devin? Is it going to be his best friend, Barrett? Is it going to be D that he just tried to vote out, even though he didn't have to? But he didn't really have. I mean, he was choosing between two of his allies. So, I mean, what do you do there?

[01:43:33] Or is it going to be his girlfriend that he's been throwing under the bus for the last, I don't know, two months? And so I would love to see what it looked like if he had to make such a choice. And so I don't know what the challenge was going to be, because I saw people online while we were waiting, just like talking about like tiny HOH and stuff like that. I was like, I didn't even remember that we did a tiny HOH before. So I didn't know where they were going to go with the challenge. But yeah, I knew tiny Vito was a thing, but I don't know why I forgot tiny HOH. I think they did. Yeah.

[01:44:01] Because I remember something about getting a little tiny key. Yeah, I did not remember that at all. So I didn't know what they were doing, but I was really hoping to get a little bit more drama. And so I was hoping for the Drew win. So, you know, we'll see. Okay. And so then we have the double this week. So now we have another prediction to make without even knowing what the first one was like. And I think what will happen is D will win that HOH.

[01:44:29] Yash, obviously, if, you know, if my first prediction is right, you know, it's an extension. You know, the prediction gets wilder as it goes along. Then he can't win. And I think she will immediately stab Yash in the back, nominating him up against Taylor and Barrett. And I know it's crazy because he wins. I just said he wins almost everything. But there's no blockbuster in a double. I'm pretty sure there's no blockbuster in a double. Yeah, you're right.

[01:44:59] And so he would only have the veto. I think she's going to successfully get rid of him showing what a bad move it was for him to save her. And yeah, is part of this what I want to have happen? Yes, because, you know, everyone knows from when we talked about Mallory, if you make a bad decision, I want you to pay for it. So. This would show that was a bad decision. D, yes, congratulations.

[01:45:26] You helped D get rid of Drew again, if my prediction is correct. Now he turns around and stabs you in the back because you're of no use to her anymore. The bribe is gone and you're a tough competitor. And if she gets a tough competitor out there on the block, she's not going to miss. Yeah. So I think I think this week, my prediction is we lose Drew and Yash both. I just think Yash is not I just don't think he's going to lose any challenges. Like we've seen this so many times, right?

[01:45:55] Like, you know, with Chelsea and MJ and even like even you go back to E and Terry, you know, where it was like six weeks in a row where you just couldn't get him. And I think Yash is kind of in the in the flow state right now. I don't think he can get got. So, yeah, I think that we lose Melody on Drew's H.O.H. Just for the for the drama of it all. And then, of course, we lose Drew back to back because that's how that poetic stuff happens. Yeah. Oh, God.

[01:46:22] If that happened, they would have to go to the jury house together or she would be so pissed. I know. Put it in my veins. Injected it to my veins. We don't get to see it. We don't get to see most of it. That's not as fun. They definitely need to figure that out because the little clips we get of the jury house is not enough. Yeah. Not if those two go in back to back and he caused it. So Lala and Angela are in there together. I need we need to be a fly on the wall, as Julie would say. Yeah. All right.

[01:46:50] Well, as we wrap up, I want to encourage people to check out the R.J.P. patron program at Rob has website dot com slash patron. There's Facebook groups. There's discord. And of course, there's the patron only podcast for Big Brother and upcoming survivor. You mentioned already the slop. You mentioned Club Condo. And there's also a mailbag with Taron for Big Brother. There's another mailbag that Rob does during Survivor. So there's all sorts of benefits, you know, to becoming a patron. Yeah.

[01:47:19] Rob has the website dot com slash patron. I know that patrons also get early access to tickets to the live shows. And I think Rob has announced those two live shows. And so if you wanted to even if you're not a big Survivor fan, really cool to kind of go and hang out with other R.J.P. fans. You'll see some of the Big Brother podcasters there as well. So I definitely recommend that, too. Yeah. And make sure you're subscribed to all of the R.J.P. podcasts at for all the R.J.P. Big Brother podcasts that we know big brother dot com.

[01:47:48] And with Survivor coming up, also make sure you're subscribed to we know survivor dot com. Or you can encompass it all by just subscribing to we know reality TV dot com. So many different options. You can pick and choose. It's like a la carte or you can get the whole buffet. Yeah. So good setup. Thank you to Scott St. Pierre, Rob, Jess Sterling, all the people at R.J.P. At the rehab post for making all of this possible and for helping us get all the content out to you all.

[01:48:17] And thank you, Chappelle, for another great episode. You know. We disagreed on a couple of things there, you know, and it's it's nice to have that back and forth, you know, and because some people are like, no, David doesn't like to disagree with people. You know, it's like, I don't mind if it makes sense. You know, you know, let's have that discussion. So. But, you know, yeah, usually usually the people who say that are just wrong.

[01:48:48] So, yes, we will see everyone in a week. And you could find us on social media in the meantime. So till then. Bye.
