BB28 Why ___ Lost Week 6

BB28 Why ___ Lost Week 6

Kamu came into the game as an obvious physical threat and it would be easy to point to that as the sole reason he was evicted. But as David Bloomberg and Chappell discuss, there was definitely more to it. Muscles are not the only way someone can cause people to worry in the game, and Kamu gave the other players multiple reasons for concern. It’s time to take a look at all of them because at RHAP, we know Big Brother, and we know Why Kamu Lost.

[00:00:00] You played yourself and got voted out This is why blank lost This is why blank lost This is why blank lost Welcome back to Why Blank Lost. I'm David Bloomberg, and I know I speak for my co-host Chappell and many others when I say,

[00:00:29] Camus gone! Woohoo! We did it. We did it, David. We did it. Man, I have never loved Angela Murray more a day in my life, okay? I have been on record that that lady has some elite caring skills, okay? When she decides to go there, she can go there. But watching her in that blockbuster lock in and do exactly what I wanted to happen this week, oh my god, cinema. I'm never going to forget where I was because I'm in the same spot when I watch all of Big Brother for the most part,

[00:00:58] but I'm never going to forget where I was when 50-year-old Lala beat him in a wall and 50-year-old Angela beat him in a blockbuster. It's like, we did it. We're here. I'm so happy. Yes. Yes. So, of course, with that said, we still have a job to do here, and just because we're happy to see him leave the Big Brother house doesn't change how we'll evaluate his game. It'll be just like anyone else,

[00:01:25] which is that we will compare how he played to a set of guiding rules I originally wrote way back in 2004 and have modified ever since. And we will, of course, analyze his actions using what we saw on TV, live feeds, interviews, and other information with the most recent published version posted at robhazwebsite.com slash bigbrotherrules. Now, some people may be like, why do you repeat that every time? We know. We listen. We know. There are always new people. There's always a different number of people listening and watching.

[00:01:50] And, you know, the YouTube algorithm may show it to some new folks who have no idea what we do here. So that is why. But before we get to all of that for Kamu, and even before we get to the part that I normally say when I say before we get to, I do want to mention something, and that is for RHAPCon Milwaukee. So at the very end of the podcast, I have mentioned a few times. Hopefully everyone always listens till the very end.

[00:02:20] But I have mentioned I will be there. Chappelle, unfortunately, will not. But I hope to see a number of you there. And I'm also trying to organize one or more Why Blank Lost meetups to ensure that anyone who wants to get together and talk has time to do so. I know that I've been at events before where it's like, ah, you know, I just didn't get a chance to talk to you, or I didn't feel right going up to you because you were in a conversation. We're there for three days. I know not everyone will be there for three days because some people just have day,

[00:02:50] you know, can only go for a day or so. But first of all, feel free to come up to me. Second of all, I'm going to try and set these up. So if you're on the Discord, you know, look for it there. If you're not on the Discord and you can't get on the Discord or don't want to, then we'll try to have some other way of mentioning that. But yeah, I hope to see some people there. Yeah, that's exciting. I think that, you know, like go have lunch with David.

[00:03:17] I would definitely find a time to come and bug you. You know, David's got years of experience in media, which is something very popular going around these days. And so, you know, pick his brain, ask him why some other people lost, and then stick around because I think David might have some other things and is, you know, up his sleeve for that week. So I hate I'm going to miss it. Yeah. Yeah. Me too. Me too. All right. Now we have a couple other things to discuss this week in general.

[00:03:44] One topic that came up multiple times this week is the fact that there were, well, I don't know how to say this other than to say it, several dummies in the house who somehow did not realize that Devens and D were tight and working together. Now, the main two culprits were Kamu and Yash, who just recently, like since we last talked, I believe, realized those two must have a survivor connection.

[00:04:15] No way. Who would have thought that two people who had just played together on Survivor 50 might be working together? Yash doesn't know who Sari is. So I don't, you know, what are we doing? You know, if you don't know who Sari is, I can't. Yeah. That means he's missing a part of his heart. And I, and I hate that for him. Yeah. Yeah. I have some thoughts on, on that aspect, but, you know, sticking for D and Devens first, I will say it is true.

[00:04:43] They sometimes did not appear to move in lockstep in the house. Like when Devens had voted, he admitted, he voted out lyric while D denied it. But I still just don't understand how everyone in the game didn't know or presume it. If I hadn't seen Kamu and Yash talking about this on live feeds before the HOH comp, I would have thought D and Devens were even crazier to put on the whole show of

[00:05:10] picking each other in this knockout to hide that they were working together. Now, don't get me wrong. It was still a dumb plan. Still crazy. Still crazy. Still dumb. Led to a lot of avoidable problems this week. But that's not the point that I'm making here. And then after Yash talked about nominating D, Devens came up with this whole ridiculous plan of he was going to volunteer. And by the way, if you're just watching TV, you saw none of this.

[00:05:38] But he was going to volunteer to go on the block himself. So he would use the diamond power of Vito on himself to be safe and not have to use it on D. So he wouldn't show how close the two of them were. Wild behavior. Definitely something that I raised an eyebrow at. You know, it's not the wildest thing that they came up with, which is actually something that is interesting to think about.

[00:06:04] But, David, I think for people, and I'll give Yash, well, I'll give Kamu some credit. He clearly has watched the show before. Yash has not. So Yash does not know how valuable a known quantity is in Big Brother. Just like people who know each other go far in this game all the time. It could be your ex. It could be your dad. It could be your son. It can be like every time. Your aunt's girlfriend.

[00:06:33] We've seen it all. And every time those people work together, no matter what. You know, we were told Dick and Danielle. Well, that season, there was a little there was definitely some beefs that were insurmountable. But it didn't look like D and Devin's were beefing. In fact, they were in multiple alliances together that y'all knew about. And so because of that, you have to assume that they were at least working to each other. They were cordial enough and they already knew each other. They knew each other from previous to Survivor 50 because they both played prior to Survivor 50.

[00:07:03] You have to imagine they've met each other, you know, before then. But then they also just played in Survivor 50. That made them a lot tighter. And just knowing that these two people were even familiar with each other outside the house. That should have been enough for you to immediately be like, look, I don't even know if they're together. I can't prove it. But I'm still going to put them up because I know they know each other. Yes, this is what I'm saying. Like, you have to assume that.

[00:07:27] And even after the conversation that I mentioned where the light bulb finally dimly went on, it wasn't solidified until Devin's literally pulled D off the block. Because that's when Yash told Drew Barrett and Melody, ah, this shows the extent of D and Devin's relationship. Yeah. And he also said every move gives information. Yes, that is very true.

[00:07:56] But this is information you should have figured out a long time ago. And I've talked about this a bit in some videos I've posted. And inevitably, someone will comment that, well, you know, they probably didn't, you know, Yash and Kamaru, they didn't watch Survivor, so they didn't know. I don't care. I don't care. If you know, like, same as, you know, with Sari, I don't care whether you know Sari or not. I mean, I do care in my heart.

[00:08:23] But I don't care for this because if you know two people are coming in who are just on another show together, your base level presumption should be they will be working together closely until proven otherwise. Mm hmm. I mean, I guess props to Devin's indeed for convincing them. Yeah. I just don't understand how it's possible. Hey, it worked.

[00:08:50] I watched Jared and Sari sit in that house with the same exact face and had people questioning whether Jared was related to Felicia. You know, like that's that's how insular, I guess, the game makes everything right. Like you're so in your little bubble that you can't see the forest for the trees. You can't see the things moving around you because I just knew the first time they actually spoke to Jared and Sari, they were going to be like, so clearly y'all are related to some extent. Right.

[00:09:18] Because they like they look the same, like carbon copies of each other. We saw Devon in the past do that with Tiffany and Vanessa's. It's like she immediately clocked it. That's kind of her superpower. But for these people, it just looks like once they get in there, they forget about the outside world and they start creating their own environment, their own ecosystem and the things that they know that should ring true. Don't you know, we've seen people forget about whole ass relationships outside the house, you know? And so and kind of in this season to a little bit.

[00:09:45] And so I'm not shocked that it happened, but I'm definitely disappointed in them as players. Yeah, yeah, I happened to be rewatching the episode where Sari's son tells Blue, oh, yeah, I'm related to someone in the house. Some people may be like, why are you rewatching that? All may become clear in due time. But I was just even even rewatching it.

[00:10:13] I was like, why are you telling her this? But yes, that was that was years ago. So instead, let's let's talk about things that are happening now, because I know one topic that you wanted to discuss is related somewhat to when we talked about last week,

[00:10:34] which is Lala, because we mentioned, you know, last week she said she was pretending to be clueless as part of her game and wondered how much was that and how much wasn't that. And this week, things took a bad turn for her in the way other people treated. Right. So we've seen HOH itis have this effect on people before where you become the HOH and then you start to treat people differently because you're the HOH. And then people rebel against you. Right.

[00:11:03] We look at Thog. Thog was the HOH and she is yet to find her footing again in the game. It just if you don't handle that with care, you know, you will lose a lot of people. You could really isolate a lot of people like that because you don't have as much power as you think you you choose who can go up, but you don't choose who goes home. And so the way you handle people, these people might be back to at least two of them are coming back into the game. And so I think with Lala kind of mishandling her social interaction with that, it gave license to people to really resent her.

[00:11:32] And because they were resenting her, a lot of bad behavior started coming out in the house. It was there were already, you know, like sprinkles of bad behavior throughout the season. I won't say it just started because of that, but it really did get worse after after Lala's HOH to the point where it's become something that people can't really ignore that. The way people talk to Lala, the way people interact with Lala and Taylor, it's just it's not the same type of energy you would have for Angela, who is a known loose cannon.

[00:12:00] Right. You know, people in the house saying, oh, Lala is going to blow up on us. Taylor's going to blow up on us when we watched Angela cuss thog out like I ain't never seen before. That should be a top 10 Big Brother moment. And it got swept under the rug so fast. But these people are concerned about, you know, the two black women in the house reacting. We saw that in Big Brother, the second Big Brother All-Stars with Davon and Bailey. Chris Christmas walking around saying, I think she's going to try to shoot me in the face. What? She don't try to shoot you with what gun?

[00:12:27] And also like you anyway, rap sheet. So, you know, so I just feel like when you have those moments, you know, those are definitely moments where we should be looking for to flag those. Like these are problematic behaviors. A lot of people were very happy to see Kamu go because of his problematic views and behaviors in that house and outside of the house. And I totally get that. I was definitely one of if not. I'm with it. I'm with the haters when it came to the way Kamu was acting and presenting himself.

[00:12:54] But a lot of people have noticed that the way Lala is treated as an older black woman is not right. You know, telling her to stay in the kitchen and cook and not talk a game. So, hey, that's grown ass lady. You know what I'm saying? And to me, there's just a level of respect that you have for older people, but also a level of care you take with people who are minorities. You know, black women will catch the strays of most minority groups.

[00:13:21] Misogynoir is a thing, right? Because it's a weird intersection where they're affected by black stereotypes and tropes and negativity. But they're also, you know, struggling with misogyny at the same exact time. And so it's like that creates a whole different world of problems where both sides will say, well, these are your issues. These are your issues. Now you find everybody kind of picking on this group of people.

[00:13:45] And I'm not saying they did it to their faces, but creating an environment where everybody in the house is villainizing them in a way that it's not game related. Where you're saying things like, oh, they don't deserve to be here, which we hear every season of Big Brother, honestly. But also, you know, like they need to, you know, just the way you demand their subservience and the way they should be acting and the things that they need to do, even from within their allies. Yash Taylor has even had words with Lala that I was like, I don't know if I would have approached it like that.

[00:14:15] But regardless, none of these people are perfect and people are making mistakes. And it's up to, you know, everybody to call out when they see racist behavior. So the common rules of the world, it's bad. But then also this is bad, too. And it's my hope that maybe, you know, when they come out of the house, they will see the error of their ways. I'm sure Kamu is out of the house now, and I don't know if he's going to change the way he thinks or the way he was. Yeah, I highly doubt it. Right. But these people there, we currently have them in our hamster wheel right now in our hamster cage.

[00:14:44] We're watching and they are making mistakes. And when they come out, it's on them to reflect on that and to also acknowledge that those things are bad, too. They can permeate and the small things can spiral out of control and become Kamu one day, you know. And so so that was really bothering me. And David, you know why I came why I really wanted to say something. I got on Facebook yesterday and I saw a post about the first mistake.

[00:15:12] I saw a post about Danielle Reyes and the comments were like, who is this lady? Who is this lady? I didn't like her attitude. I don't like Miss Attitude. And I was like, attitude. And it's like, yeah, like I'm like, she didn't do anything. She didn't do anything on stage where you would be like, I don't like your attitude. And the caption was like, she says she wanted Taylor to win. And I said, that's not what she said. She said she wanted her to win the power. She ended up in the crowd said it, too. Honestly, I think even Julie said it along with her.

[00:15:38] Like to me, it didn't look like she came in and was like, I'm rooting for the only black person. But to those people in the comments, they ran with it. And those are things that could have been stopped a long time ago. You're right. Like calling people out for that kind of stuff prior to them being grown ass people who will never change their views. It's important because you don't want people to spiral into something that is unstoppable and a lot more heinous than it started off. So that's my little rant. You know, I just you got to say something at some point.

[00:16:05] But I try to, you know, try to enjoy the fun parts of Big Brother and not really get wrapped up in all that stuff. But it's hard to watch when you see people getting other so so hard in the house, even if it's behind their back. It's real. It's still tough to watch. And not all of it was behind their back. I mean, you know, we started now again, not on TV. This is all live feeds. And they just totally blew by this. We started with Haley calling her a bully. Right. Right. To her face to the point that Lala was so upset.

[00:16:35] She literally went well. Haley said, everybody has told me because we know Haley would never exaggerate. But Haley said, every single person here has told me you were bullying me. Mm hmm. And Lala went to every person in the house and said, please tell me the truth. Was I bullying Haley? And everybody was like, no, in no way, shape or form. Were you a bully? Yeah.

[00:17:05] Meanwhile, we watched Angela cuss that lady out like a dog on the street. And it was Lala who came in there to get Angela out of there. Right. Yeah. This is the same person that's going to be so volatile that you can't, you know, can't talk to them about these things. But Angela gets a pass. And I think that people we need to look closer at moments like that and say, like, OK, well, why does Angela get to be super Karen? And then Lala can't get upset for being blindsided.

[00:17:31] And Angela was fine, you know, but she still acted like she wasn't. And just from crying and making a scene, she got sympathy. Her and Thog are cool again. You know, it didn't last very long. Right. Right. Well, yeah, it's tough to watch. You know, we really want to enjoy this show. Everybody should be able to enjoy Big Brother. But, you know, when you see stuff like that, it does make it hard to watch. Yes. Yes.

[00:17:57] All right. Well, to change to a somewhat lighter subject, which also happens to be about Angela. I wanted to mention the way the blockbuster ended. And some people are probably like, wait, you guys are talking about topics that you never talk about on here. What is this? Why are you talking about a comp right after talking about, you know, what happened with people mistreating Lala? And although I think we do talk about that.

[00:18:25] But yeah, as we were all watching, I could not believe that Angela had all her balls placed properly and then started taking some out of the tubes. And I know this has been an ongoing topic on social media. My son asked me what was going on here. She almost lost it because of this. So I've pieced this together because she had like 11 or 12.

[00:18:48] And instead of just hitting the button, because that's more than 10, she risked losing by opening to get down to exactly 10. Now, no rule was ever explained that we heard that it had to be the exact number. Julie never said anything about it at the time. Then Dalton Ross mentioned it in their weekly interview. Julie did not say anything about it then. Tucker posted a video of himself watching Angela.

[00:19:18] Tucker, who instructed Angela on how to win this and therefore would know the rules, was confused at what Angela was doing there. So there's one of two possibilities. Angela was right. And it's some new rule that Julie didn't know. Tucker didn't know. And nobody else knew but Angela or Angela completely misunderstood and could very well have lost by taking this extra time to get down to 10.

[00:19:49] I'd say she was lucky to be able to do that and still win. But like I mentioned, she'd gotten information from Tucker on how to win that exact comp. And the funny thing is, she had told Haley how to do it. Haley had told Kamu how to do it. But foolishly, neither of those two did. With Haley later making a comment that she didn't want the fan under the floor to scrape off her tattoos or something.

[00:20:15] Which I feel like unless they're like press on tattoos, that's not the way tattoos work. Yeah, I don't know what she was talking about there. But Angela gave them the keys. She did. And which is also wild. Angela, if you know how to break a competition, keep it to yourself. Keep it to yourself. But David, you know, if Angela had tried to press that button and she had 12 in there and Julie said, ah, Angela, it has to be 10. Then we'd be like, Angela, what the hell?

[00:20:43] You know, so I think she did a like better safe than sorry. But you're right. She was cutting it close. They were on her tail and it was just the most stressful blockbuster. I mean, my heart's beating out of my chest because, again, not the biggest Angela fan, but I also want her to win so badly. And the way her technique was, you really couldn't see that she was stockpiling these things. You know, it just looked like she was struggling.

[00:21:08] And so every time she would come up and have a few more balls, I was like, oh, is Angela about to do this? And I didn't want to jinx it. But, you know, we all start to have the realization at the same time. Her pulling those last couple of balls out definitely had me panicking. But it worked out for her in the long run. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:21:31] Well, I do want to move on to our, well, sort of move on to our regular, semi-regular segment. But we don't actually have specific material for the Julie Chen Moonves' Wrong About Blank segment this week.

[00:21:45] Um, I'd just say something that is generally true about her rather than, you know, some specific thing she said, which is, Julie, if a player is a Christian and shouts out Jesus, that doesn't mean you have to love them no matter what their other horrible behavior is that they have demonstrated in the show or in real life.

[00:22:10] But you shout out Jesus to Julie and she will love you. There is no, that's it. Uh, you know, but the thing is, I say this as a non-Christian, but saying you're a Christian and then showing hate, that does not conform with her love one another message. I've always been kind of, I've always been kind of confused about the transformation of Julie over the years.

[00:22:41] You know, we, we coined the phrase Chinbot because she was so like, she was very like off the teleprompter. She had no like type of feeling toward the game. You never really saw, she break, she kind of break character every now and then, slap Marcellus up the head, you know, but stuff like that. But for the most part, Julie was kind of, you know, you can paint by the numbers. Um, then after some controversies in her own life, she came back, she had a new name and she had this like Southern Baptist auntie kind of vibe to her. And I don't hate it.

[00:23:11] You know, I am a Christian, but I do find it interesting that, you know, um, Julie has made that almost her primary platform. You know, um, I don't know if Julie's still doing, is it the, was it, she was on the talk. Um, I don't know if she's still doing that. I highly doubt it. Um, they fired her from that. The only thing she has left is big brother. As far as I know, when, when her husband got, uh, for very good reason, uh, she got removed from anything other than big brother. Yeah.

[00:23:40] So the biggest two things that I know Julie from at this point now are big brother and her podcast, God 101. And so I think she's like trying to merge the two things seamlessly. Right. Like, so you come out of the house and you go straight to God one-on-one there. We've seen, uh, atheists on God one-on-one we've seen, uh, you know, uh, gay people on God one-on-one the people that the people who are aligned with a lot of, you know, those radical Christian values, they would hate it. Right.

[00:24:06] Um, but Julie does have this love one another persona going on right now. And I don't hate it. I like, I like love one another. I do. It's grown on me. It's obviously it's Bible scripture, but I think you're right. Like I, to me, love isn't unconditional for everybody. I think, you know, you can have an unconditional love for like a parent or a spouse or a child or something like that because, or whatever those familial ties are.

[00:24:31] But certain people who are giving you hate, I think is, you, you know, you're well within your bounds to protect yourself. And so, uh, if somebody is spewing some hateful rhetoric or views, you don't have to, I mean, you can definitely tell people love one another, but you don't have to dismiss the things that they were doing just because they were a Christian. Yeah. And treat them like they're an angel when clearly got a lot of devil in them.

[00:24:56] Well, you know, back in BB is a 15 when she was calling people out and like you said these racist things. Um, I always thought that was a wild choice for Julie. Don't get me wrong. We ate it up. Right. Listen, I'm a, I'm a hypocritical big brother watching like everybody else ate it up. But in retrospect, I'm like, there's probably a better way to handle that. You know, like you got the sound bite, you got the clips, but is that going to make somebody feel, is that how you win friends and influence people by like shaming them on national television and being like, you know, you lost your job.

[00:25:25] You know, we saw all those clips and I thought back, dang, I wonder if you could have handled that differently. Would you, you know, uh, not to say that Aaron didn't deserve what she got, but I think we also have a responsibility as humans to be humans. And, uh, I think we might've, we, sometimes we lose the plot. Yeah. I don't have a problem with what she did there because I think that a lot of people were calling on CBS to do something about it and they did something about it.

[00:25:54] They called her out, you know, right there and said, Hey, look, we're, we're doing this. We're, we're calling her out where all of you can, can see it. Uh, so, um, you know, I don't have a problem with that. In fact, I'd like to see more of that. Yeah. Same, same. Exactly. And better that than, than to, and I know we'll talk about this.

[00:26:15] Kamu did not mostly act the way he does in real life based on social media as he didn't act that way in the house. Other than some things we'll mention, but that doesn't mean that just because he's shouting out Jesus in his final words that you have to then greet him at the door and be like, I love Jesus too.

[00:26:44] We know, we know that we, we believe me, Julie, we know that. We know. And, and that doesn't, yes, there's obviously a connection there, but try paying attention to the entirety of who he is. Not just that one aspect. Read the room. Read the room. You could, you could have definitely had that Jesus conversation with him at a, at a better time, right?

[00:27:07] A different conversation, you know, like, Hey, I know you've been messing up, but here's some words, Christian to Christian, you know, um, I'm sure he's going to be on God one-on-one, right? She's going to have time. She's not going to address any of those things there either. I would love to see it. Let's find out. I can't wait. I will put money down that, uh, you know, she will not address any of that. Yes. Hmm. Okay. I don't have any money, but I'll take the bet. Let's see who went, who's, who's right. We'll come back next week and discuss it. Okay. All right.

[00:27:38] All right. But. You know, until then we have other things to discuss about Kamaru because he came into the game as an obvious physical threat. And it would be easy to point that point to that as the sole reason he was evicted, but as we'll find out, there was definitely more to it. Muscles are not the only way someone can cause people to worry in the game. And Kamaru gave the other players multiple reasons for concern. Let's take a look at all of them because at RHAP, we know big brother and we know why Kamaru lost.

[00:28:08] Now, the first and most important rule is of course, to scheme and plot. And I think it's pretty clear that Kamaru knew that. But he made a number of alliances during his time in the game, starting, of course, with Haley and Chuck and expanding that into the red corner and eventually the tool shed till that got blown up. And he also had sub alliances like the handyman men with Drew.

[00:28:32] And then once the tool shed was dismantled, he jumped away from Haley and Chuck, though they didn't realize it at first. And worked his way in with Lala, Taylor and Yash, while also maintaining good relationships with D and Devins. Now.

[00:28:48] We'll discuss this a bit more when we get to rule two, which may be a hint as to whether it was perhaps a little too much, but it showed that he understood what he had to do and even how he was able to jump off a sinking ship and into new situations. I'm very impressed by a lot of his gameplay. You know, we come in here and we talk about the things people do wrong, but he did a lot right.

[00:29:12] You know, I think, you know, barring his outside shenanigans and stuff like that, he could have been a really rootable character for sure. Just based on you could tell he was somebody who was eager to play the game. You know, he was getting in alliances. He was making moves. He was plibing. He was all that kind of stuff. He was winning power. And so I, you know, I was very impressed with some of the stuff he was doing.

[00:29:35] I know people were comparing Taylor to Chelsea for some reason or whether, but, you know, don't do that, y'all. But as far as Kamu goes, I saw a lot of Chelsea's game in him. You know, Chelsea's ability to make you feel good, get in an alliance with you. And then when your alliance goes down, jump ship and rebuild something else. And he was doing that left and right. And so I'm very interested to see how this conversation is going to go about the things that he didn't do so right.

[00:30:02] Well, here's one to start with, because knowing what you need to do and actually accomplishing it successfully are two different things. And we did see a number of examples of this with Kamu, even though he did well in certain circumstances. For example, even before the lyric vote that took apart the tool shed, he told D, oh, I'm not really with Chuck and Haley. I'm the third wheel. But he wanted to work with D and Devin's.

[00:30:29] And she agreed with him in person, but then told us in a camera talk that he must think I'm dumb by claiming that he wasn't close to the other two. And, you know, she and Devin's were just going to play into it so that they would think they're running things. And, you know, Kamu had no idea that she did not buy into this. And then, of course, we saw that he when he did leave for real Chuck and Haley hanging.

[00:30:58] You know, when he won the veto and he just left him sitting there on the block that that that did make D and Devin's perhaps reconsider whether he was indeed separated from them. But that also had other repercussions we'll talk about in a bit. And then when Kamu was HOH, we saw a number of situations like this where he thought he was doing excellent work, but he wasn't. He had these discussions before the nomination ceremony with the then nominees to be.

[00:31:28] And he said to someone else, he said they couldn't have gone better. Except when you heard from the three women that he was nominating, they couldn't stand him after that. And then, of course, there was the Tea Party where he thought he did an amazing job with Jason and other people came up to him. Oh, that was so great. Just feeding his ego. That's definitely not what most other people thought. And again, I'm going to hold off most of my thoughts on that till the second rule because of how he messed that up.

[00:31:57] But the point is, he was doing good things, but he was also in his mind doing more good things than he really was. Yeah, we talked about this a little bit with Chuck, but there's a level of ego that I think Kamu has to where the people in the house were playing into it. They were like, oh, yeah, he'll love it if you say that. Make sure you lean into that part. He's going to he's going to eat that up. And they were doing it so well. I think, you know, Drew became a master of it at some point.

[00:32:22] You know, I think D as well, where we you know, where D and Devin's clearly should probably be aligned. He didn't see it because they're like, oh, yeah, you would. Yeah, you would know if we were aligned. You know, there's really playing against his ego. And so, yeah, I think that clouded his judgment about what was actually going on in the game. But those moments where things became apparent, his pivoting skills are really good. But he would always pivot into another place of complacency. And then he would be back in a similar situation. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:32:51] Now, it wasn't all bad in those, you know, in those ways. His success rate at conversation seemed to be tied to what someone thought of him beforehand and where he was in the game at that moment. There were times when he played well, others pretty terrible. And sometimes he would get HOHitis by proxy. Like if he was close to the person, he would be like, oh, I'm telling him what to do. Therefore, I have power. Sure. One place he did an excellent job talking his way off the block to Lala.

[00:33:21] He went in there. He listened to her. She said that she was going to nominate him. And he didn't immediately jump on it. He left, thought it through, came back with a new idea. And she accepted that idea. Sometimes he was able to use logic to his advantage. But again, pretty much only when the other person was already predisposed to like him. We saw more of that after he was nominated this week.

[00:33:48] As he kept trying to lobby for himself and it often didn't land. Such as him talking extensively to Mallory on Tuesday. But on Tuesday, she could not have been happier to vote him out. I believe she said that. I think it was on Tuesday, actually. She said, if Kamu gets no votes, that means I'm dead because I was always voting him out.

[00:34:13] And so she wasn't listening to whatever he was saying because she was predisposed against him. As she even told Yash, when Kamu had power, he didn't want to work with me. And it didn't help that when Kamu talked to Mallory, he at one point mentioned putting her on the block and asked if she'd be mad. Like, hello? Like, even if you're thinking of doing that, why would you mention that when you're trying to get her to save you? This is not great. Not great.

[00:34:42] You know, he was it's like he moves in incentives, right? Like, oh, here's what I can do for you. Here's how how you could how I can help your game. Don't put me up. But there is a level of social play that people are going to gravitate to other people that they like. And for Mallory, you know, she did toy with the idea eventually. Like, do we keep Kamu really? Because the incentive was there. But it wasn't just because Kamu was saying it. It was because Yash was saying it and they like Yash.

[00:35:08] And Yash was using his social influence to really push and push and really try to get his agenda across to Mallory and Melody. And so they were able to do that. But anytime somebody like Drew would say, but it's still Kamu, it's like Mallory would snap back out of it. It's like, oh, you're right. You know, and like and I just don't like that guy. And so he was doing a lot of things. But I think his his relationships or lack thereof with some of these people or his neglect for these relationships really, it just ran out.

[00:35:36] You know, like he ran out of runway and he was shooting himself in the foot. Yeah. Yeah. It's bad when people are more likely to want to keep you when someone else talks to them rather than when you talk to them directly. Oh, you talk about Drew? I'm joking. Yeah. I will get to him one day, I'm sure. Yeah. Who knows with him? It's just so up and down.

[00:36:03] But but yeah, going back to Kamu talking to those that he did get along with. He usually made it work well. He would pick and choose what information he had to share with each ally. Why? Speaking of Drew, he on July 21st, live feeds. He gave Drew a heads up that Angela D and Haley thought he was all in on Melody. OK, Drew knew this now. He could alter his behavior.

[00:36:34] He didn't necessarily do it, but he could, in theory, alter his behavior. And then he often got tips in return, such as Drew telling him that with his shirt off, people were reminded of what a physical threat he is, which actually caused him to wear shirts more often. All of us should thank Drew for that, by the way. But I mean, unless you were watching just to see him shirtless, you know, you do you.

[00:37:01] But again, this was only with those he believed to be his allies. Other people, not so much like Barrett said on live feeds right after the eviction that he couldn't trust Kamu to go after him because they never talked game. Mm hmm. Mm hmm. Yeah. Again, like he was with the power. Right.

[00:37:22] It's like it's it's not it's not floating, but he's definitely moving with the structure, you know, like and he's creating the structure wherever he goes. You know, I think for me, floating is like you go to the H.O.H. and you just be like you beg for like fealty, you know, you're like, hey, here I got you. I got you. No, whatever. He was doing that to an extent. But when he moves because he was such a threat competition wise and he had so much dirt, he was actually a really big asset.

[00:37:48] You know, we've seen floaters in the past just that they don't have anything to show for it. They just show up and just hope that the H.O.H. has bigger fish to fry and then they end up a pond. Kamu gets on the block and people were saying this is not a pond. You know, this is you know, he's up there. We cannot afford to let him get any further because he will be a problem later on. And so he definitely had assets to bring to the table. But again, it was for the people that he saw value in game wise. He didn't spend a lot of time building relationship with people like Barrett, who he was actually aligned with.

[00:38:19] Yeah, yeah. Now, there was a key moment, I think, when both Kamu and Yash screwed up when they were discussing how to handle Yash winning the veto. And so that falls in here because it's poor strategizing. We saw on live feeds. We heard Taron discussing multiple times this past week.

[00:38:40] They came so close to realizing that they could ensure the best outcome for themselves, putting aside the Devin's power, which they didn't know about. But they could have vetoed Haley and put up Barrett. But they kept saying they wanted to keep Haley on their side. Yet it didn't occur to them to just use the veto on her.

[00:39:04] They were so convinced they had Drew and he'd bring along Melody and Mallory. So they didn't need to. They just convinced themselves of this. Wrong information. And Kamu and Yash talked over the course of a couple days about the possibility. Oh, but is it possible Haley could lose the vote?

[00:39:28] It just never occurred to them to make it impossible, literally impossible for her to lose the vote. But they just thought they could exert their influence. Again, I think it goes back to, like you said, the ego. They thought, oh, well, we'll convince them to vote the way we wanted. And well, we we saw how that went. Yeah, I was going to ask you what you thought that was that, you know, this this blind spot they had to the one of the more powerful things in the game is the veto. Right. You have the H.O.

[00:39:58] You have the veto and then you get other random assortment of powers throughout Big Brother. That's how it works. But for them to have it and to not wield it because they just think Thog is safe. Like what like what are they trying to avoid by using it? Is it literally just ego or are they going to win favor with somebody? But, you know, by not taking Thog down, is Lala going to be really mad at them because they took Thog down? You know, Thog's not the target at that point. We already know that at that point he's coming after D or Angela.

[00:40:26] And so if you want her to be safe, take her down. I just I just never quite figured out what was their incentive for leaving her up. I think they didn't want to put Barrett up since Barrett was the the next person in there. Or maybe, you know, Yash didn't want to put a man up because he had that only women idea. But I think it was the Barrett thing that, you know, I don't know. Getting inside their heads in this decision was a tough call because they just.

[00:40:57] They just ignored the most obvious thing. Did anybody ask him that question during the exit press? Have you I know you check into that, but did someone ever ask him why not just save Thog? I believe Taron did. Yeah, I'd imagine. Whatever his answer was, was so meaningless that it didn't even register with me. Like it was like that. I mean, nothing. Yeah, all of it. I mean, like normally.

[00:41:21] So normally I try to prepare my notes and sometimes I will wait if I know there's going to be a lot of stuff from the interviews. I kind of try to wait and then plug in whatever interesting things are in the interviews. In this case, I wrote out the bulk of most of my notes before the interviews. I think I had to insert like one thing that he said because he said the same thing over and over again and none of it made any sense or added to the discussion.

[00:41:52] Yeah, I didn't watch it. I just, you know, yeah, and I figured I wouldn't, but I know you do your due diligence. And so I was hoping that, you know, he would address it in a meaningful way. And it just sounds like they just didn't think about it. Like you said, they were they were too far in their own into their own stuff that they didn't even think about the very obvious move that was right in front of them.

[00:42:18] Yeah, I mean, like I said, whatever he may have said, it just it didn't register with me. Maybe it's because. It's him, but whatever it was, it didn't. There was no good logical answer for it. I do wish I had paid that I had, you know, listen, so I could answer your question as to at least what he said. But it just it. Yeah, the only thing I've got we'll get to in rule two. And that's because he I'm arguing with what he said.

[00:42:47] So other than that, it was a bunch of it was a bunch of meaningless fluff. You know, it's it's these non answers in many cases to avoid anything controversial. Actually, there is another there's two things because he also speaking of controversial things. I'll get to another one when we get to, I think, rule five.

[00:43:09] But until then, we have the second rule, which says not to scheme a plot too much and to keep your scheming secret. Now, I've already referenced a couple of things that we need to discuss here. So let's start by jumping into one of them, which is the tea party. Kamu was, of course, H.O.H. And pretty much from the start. He had planned to backdoor Jason.

[00:43:37] I think there might have if I'm remembering right, he might have initially planned to just put him up straight up. And someone said, why don't you backdoor him? So, like I said, almost from the start. And he told almost everyone that this was the plan. Certainly all the nominees, all of his allies, there wasn't a whole lot of people left in the House who didn't know that this was his plan. But then as the time grew near for him to do it, he decided he needed to fake a reason for it.

[00:44:08] Which, of course, made zero sense because it contradicted what he had previously said. Then we saw he went in on Jason, said more things that didn't make sense. Like he mentioned how he offered Jason a deal while conveniently omitting the fact that he was 100% lying when he offered that supposed deal. Because like I said, he was always planning to backdoor. He made a forceful statement that Jason, quote, can't sit here and act like you're playing an honest game.

[00:44:37] As if Kamu was, or pretty much anyone else for that matter. And while Devins and Dee had encouraged him to go down this path, they both later said on live reads, it was because they knew it would help make him a bigger target. And it did. He's, it was so easily manipulated too, right? They're telling him to do something that's so obviously bad for his game. And he did it.

[00:45:02] And it was obviously bad for his game, but he just, he was so easily pushed into that area. And you have to wonder why, right? Like, are they, are Devins and Dee just that good to where they can sway and move the minds of the people so easily? Or was he already predisposed to doing something like that? Or maybe he's just in the house and he's lost track of, you know, due north, right? So he's just in there kind of moving with the game. Who knows?

[00:45:28] But for whatever reason, he thought it'd be a good idea to do something that I thought was socially bad, but also strategically bad. Because if people like Jason, they're not going to, they're not going to love this. That might isolate some people. But then if Jason somehow survives this week, how do you think he's going to feel? And who do you think he's going to target? Yeah. Yeah.

[00:45:46] And I mean, the thing is what, when Kamu answered, because everybody that I saw asked him about this, his answer was trying to rationalize it by addressing what you just brought up. If he stays, he was trying to change history in this rationalization because he said it was, it was all in case Jason won the blockbuster. So people would know he couldn't be trusted and he was playing a messy game. Everybody already knew he was playing a messy game.

[00:46:16] But if that was true, then you don't need to blow yourself up to prove it. And in fact, like I said, he made himself look worse because whether it was Jason or someone else, it shows the lengths you're willing to go to, to scheme and plot too much, to do this, to interrupt a fun time.

[00:46:46] And just so you can launch an attack on someone. And he just claimed, oh, I wanted to hear the truth and hear people defend themselves a little bit so we could hear what was true and what was a lie. It was BS when he said it at the tea party and it's BS now when he's saying it to interviews. Yeah, I think his instinct is to be covert. I think his instinct is to shut it down, be under the radar. But the moment he gets a little prodding, he's going to go and he's going to go that extra mile.

[00:47:15] And my issue with a lot of the ways that they're playing in the house, not just him, is that they do a big thing and then they try to put the toothpaste back in the tube. They try to, it's so hard to force it back in. And everybody's saying, oh, that person's a threat now. Why do you think that? Why do you think there's a threat? Have you done anything in the last three, four weeks that would make us feel like you're such a big threat to where the first time we have you on the block, we know you're going home. You know that these things add up. People don't forget, you know, they have short memories to an extent.

[00:47:44] But if somebody else remembers, they're going to bring it up. They're going to say, hey, remember the Jason thing and also remember this and also remember that. It's like you're building a rap sheet against yourself to where by the time you do need people to go out on a limb for you or save you, they've seen your fangs. You've already shown who you are. And so they say, no, this man is walking around shirtless with muscles, but he also has a strategic game and is willing to scheme and plot to the detriment of everybody else. He does not care. And we've seen it.

[00:48:13] If you can do it under the radar, go for it. Right. We've seen people do that time and time again. It's a good way to do well in the game. But doing it in front of the radar just seems like a misstep every time. Yeah. I mean, you know, it's not just don't scheme and plot too much. It's keep your scheming secret. This was the opposite of secret. This was taking my scheming and showing everyone what I was doing.

[00:48:39] He would have people who snowed and then he would just pull back the curtain and say, OK, unsnowed. Yeah. Now, the other part of this rule I referenced earlier was the way he jumped from alliance to alliance, which was. Really, from whoever was in power to whoever was in power. And this is where I raised my eyebrow when you said he wasn't a floater because I think he was. Now, you know, I know there's huge debates. I don't want to start a huge debate of, you know, floater versus not floater. But.

[00:49:06] We know that being a floater can work for you if you do it well. Camus did not do it well. He was far too obvious. It started when he abandoned Chuck and Haley, whom everybody thought were his tight allies. If he had just done that and become solid with other people, he might have been better off. But no, he acted like he had a good relationship with D as well and then turned on her while staying close to Yash after he'd been close to Lala.

[00:49:33] Now, I understand he had reasons to turn on D because of the way he found out that she had been lying to him. Or when I say found out, she basically admitted and showed him how she had been lying to him. But it still didn't end up looking good when he just kept gravitating to the power after he had previously tried to act all holier than thou in the game. Mm hmm.

[00:50:00] Yeah, it's definitely that dissonance between you looking at Jason and being like, you're playing a messy game. And then Jason goes home and you immediately start playing a messy game. Like, I thought you hated that. I thought that was such a big deal that you had to air it all out in front of everybody in the tea party. When is your tea party? When are we going to air you out? And so he was doing it effectively because of the power. Right. Like they needed him. Everybody who was getting power is like a Lala wins eight to eight. She doesn't have a lot of allies. Kabul coming over. OK, cool. Bet. I'll take it.

[00:50:30] You know, so it was working in that sense. But by the time they had a chance to snipe him out of the game, they were always going to do it. If it wasn't a diamond power veto, it was going to be something else. But the moment he hit the block, if it ever happened, he was going to end up in that same spot, going at a blockbuster, trying to save himself because he had already shown himself to be somebody who was openly scheming and plotting. Yeah. And, you know, there were, of course, other instances along the way, too. You know, earlier he had that final two with Drew.

[00:50:59] And then Haley became the HOH and nominated Drew. And suddenly, Kyle was like, do I know you? New phone. Who does? Yeah. I don't know what's happening. I have no way of knowing what Haley's thinking. And, you know, I'm not even sure I would be able to save you with a veto and things like that. This was your supposed final two. Your secret final two.

[00:51:23] A week later, the veto came up again, as I mentioned earlier, when he refused to give it to either Chuck or Haley. And, you know, Yash saw that as proving loyalty to his new pals. Other people like Mallory and Drew said it showed disloyalty to his own original tight allies. And here he is on the block. And who do you need to vote with you? You need Drew. You need Mallory. You need Melody. And they all saw that.

[00:51:52] Drew was your final two at one point. At least y'all talked about it. And then you left him high and dry. And so now when they're saying, is there any merit in keeping Kamu? Drew's like, no. No, there isn't. You know, and that could have been somebody in your corner fighting for you to stay. Whereas it was definitely somebody who it was an essential number, too. You know, they needed the Drew's and Barrett's of the world to keep Kamu in order to keep him in the game. But he didn't have that because he'd already isolated all those people just moving to the different power structures as they became HOH. Yeah.

[00:52:22] I mean, like you said, Drew, in particular, used this information because we saw on live feeds Wednesday, Melody and Mallory suggested to him maybe they should keep Kamu. And he was verklempt. You know, he just he just listed off things similar to what I just mentioned. And for example, Kamu was in every single HOH room, which also means he would be in Devin's HOH room if he were to win. He wouldn't be protecting them from the icons in that situation. He'd be sucking up to the icons if they won power.

[00:52:51] Plus, they couldn't possibly believe he'd protect them when he abandoned Chuck and Haley and so on. Kamu made it easy for others to portray him as doing too much. And this was Drew saying it of all people. And they don't believe half the shit Drew say. And so for him to be able to use that against you, it was it was because it was so true. They couldn't even ignore it.

[00:53:14] And so, yeah, he definitely painted himself in the corner when it came to the people we wasn't working as closely with, even though he still was going to need their vote eventually. Yeah. All right. We can go to the third rule, which talks about the need to be flexible. And Chappelle, we just got done talking about Kamu jumping around from group to group. But he also currently seemed to be very attached to the Yash Taylor-Lala group. So how would you say he did here overall? I mean, overall, I can't say he's not flexible, right?

[00:53:44] Because he's been he got blindsided twice and basically for no reason. The first blindside was just, you know, for no reason. You know, it's there was no reason to blindside him. They drew he got bored. You know, it was just like, all right, well, let's let's just let's do it. Let's leave them out. And from there, you would think, OK, I'm mad. I'll try to figure out a way to fix like I'll go under like and go complain or I might mope a little bit. But he got into action. Right.

[00:54:12] He immediately starts working on a scheme. He's moving around. He's trying to find the next person to he's working the rooms. He's asking the questions. He was really moving and he never stopped. He was like a shark when it came to those things. Whenever he would whenever something would happen, he would pivot. And I think that was one of his strongest skills is that he was not tied to any lines. Very much kind of shades of Lyric a little bit. Right. Where eventually you couldn't trust anything she was saying because you could see her moving around. But we couldn't say Lyric wasn't flexible.

[00:54:42] And I don't think we can say that he wasn't flexible, at least in some ways. Yeah, I would say generally speaking, he was, you know, he was going to every HOH. He was getting in good with them when he was on a sinking ship. He jumped. I mean, we just criticized Chuck last week for not doing that while Kamu did with their trio. So, you know, we can't we have to give him credit for that here. Kamu just wasn't going to let allegiance to someone else sink his game.

[00:55:13] And he kept options open, like surprisingly, in a way, being able to go back to Haley and say, it wasn't you, it was Chuck. Now that he's gone, I want to work with you again. The way he sucked up to Devins, even after Devins put him on the block, because that way if he survived and Devins and his allies came to power the next week, he might not necessarily be the automatic target. So, yeah, he did all those things.

[00:55:39] Now, at the same time, he did seem locked in, like I said, with the Yash Taylor Lala group over the past couple of weeks. That made it more difficult for people like FAP to believe he would actually join in taking out the icons and continue to work with them afterwards. Not to mention that half of FAP didn't want to take the icons out yet anyway, but that's a different story.

[00:56:08] And I know this seems to be a contradictory argument, but sometimes that happens in a show like Big Brother. It can happen in real life. I would say, overall, Kamu did a good job of being flexible for his own game, but was so obvious about it that it hurt him with Rule 2, like we discussed. I just think you need to be more subtle if you're going to be this flexible and jumping around this way. And he picked up flexibility. It's not something that he necessarily had at first.

[00:56:37] When it was the red corner and the tool shed, he was locked in with Haley and Chagmoo. Like the whole, that was their thing, right? Eventually, he started to kind of get his hooks in to Barrett. I mean, to Drew a little bit. Eventually, he got to Devin's. You know, he started to Yash. But what's his relationship with Melody? What's his relationship with, you know, with Mallory? Well, he was never able to get into those areas, right?

[00:57:06] Because when he was in power, he was fine. When he was in power, he was chilling. It was when something did not go his way where we saw the switch. And like I said, there's a lot of lyric to him because lyric was the same way. When she was with Rome, she was chilling. Rome gets blindsided. Okay, who can save me? Who can, where can I go? But she didn't have as much to bring to the table physically as he did. You know, people saw him as such a physical threat, a shield, some would say. And they saw her as somebody who was desperately clinging on to whoever. Eventually, it caught up with Kamu. But at first, I don't think he was as flexible as he could have been.

[00:57:36] Right, right. All right, well, the fourth rule says players should not let their emotions control them. Generally speaking, I think people probably expect an MMA fighter to have a temper. It feels like you need to be angry if you're repeatedly punching someone in the face. I have never punched anyone in the face if I wasn't angry at them. I think I've only punched a couple people in the face my whole life. And they punched me first. So I was probably angry about them punching me.

[00:58:07] Now, so it's hard to get into the mindset that you would do this and not be angry. But do you think his overall demeanor was a bit of a surprise to either the house guests or us? I think so. I think that, like you said, people might have had a preconceived notion about the muscle guy coming in and being, you know, maybe a hothead because he does fight. But there were definitely moments where he very actively kept his emotions in check.

[00:58:36] They put him on the block with the diamond power of veto and he did not go off. He didn't call a house meeting. We've seen all that stuff in the past. He was like, no, I got to stay measured. I got to I got to pretend like this is OK because I still need to play the game. And he said that in confessional. So we know he meant it. Right. This is not as picking that up. He was actively doing that. We see Angela crumbling at the first sight of adversity when she, you know, and she just flips off the handle. So if you're comparing him to somebody like that. Oh, yeah. He was definitely good at keeping his emotions in check.

[00:59:06] You know, to go back to what we kind of said about Chuck. You know, if you count ego as an emotion, that might be as big as a Kiwi's heel. But other than that, now, I think for the most part, he was able to stay pretty measured in tough situations. Yeah, I think he had some good self-awareness in this regard. You know, the confessional you mentioned, he said anger doesn't play well in the game. If I show that I'm angry, it'll just ensure I go home. Now, at that point, he didn't know that the others had already worked to ensure that he would go home.

[00:59:35] But he was right to say, yeah, if he got visibly mad and blew up, there was no chance he would stay. There wouldn't have even been that little back and forth with Mallory and Melody. They would have ignored all of that if he had blown up. So keeping it locked inside and only telling the cameras at least gave him that small chance.

[00:59:55] I would say another area where he did well with this rule was in not letting his social ties to other players stop him from doing what he thought was the correct strategic move. He was locked in with Haley and Chuck early on. But and at the time, it seemed to be about friendship as well as strategy. But as we've already discussed, when he saw that ship was sinking, boom, he was gone. Abandoned ship, despite knowing, yeah, they were going to be mad at him.

[01:00:24] He did it. You know, I was very surprised that he was able to pivot so easily, you know, and they weren't. You know, we saw them. They ended up on the block. He was fine. And then they were thinking they even thought they had a good enough relationship with him. Friends, friendship wise, that he would use the veto on them. Most people would have assumed he would have used the veto on them. But he's like, yeah, y'all were my friends. But for my game, I don't care. And, you know, and we watched Chuck go out of the house a little baffled that Kamu wouldn't do that.

[01:00:53] And so even this week when he's on the block and he's on the way out, but he's sitting next to Haley, he's working Haley again. You know, Haley's like, I don't know if we if we both stay, I think we could work together again. So, yeah, he was able to do enough to where they still felt tied to him. But he didn't feel as beholden to them when the time came for him to show up as an ally. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, the fifth rule says players need to pretend to be nice and play the social game.

[01:01:19] And we just discussed how Kamu knew he couldn't show his anger at Devin's nominating him. And that overlaps into this rule, too, because, well, he was pretending to be nice to Rick. We saw him on the show telling Devin's that he respected the move and no hard feelings. And as a fan, I was entertained. All of it was BS, but a decent attempt, even though Devin's himself saw right through it and immediately told Yash that Kamu was full of shit, which was, you know, kind of funny.

[01:01:48] Still, overall, I would say Kamu generally had a good social game, except for when he didn't. And when he didn't, it was really, really bad. Yeah, I do like that you pointed out that he he was a schmoozer. You know, he was like, yeah, if it's something not going his way, he's willing to wheel and deal until you until you kind of OK, I'll let him back in. You know, Devin's is a seasoned, you know, social strategy player at this point.

[01:02:17] So he didn't fall for it, but I think a lesser player would have. And I think we saw lesser players fall for it throughout the season so far. Yeah. So early on, most people tended to like Kamu, but not his allies, Chuck or Haley. And this was one thing that did separate him from them in other people's mind. And we've heard a number of players say that they expect to be friends with him outside the game and all that. Now, hopefully, once they find out what he truly is like outside the game, they won't follow through on that.

[01:02:46] But that's another matter, because as far as the game is concerned, he was mostly thought of as OK. However, like I said, there were times when he was really bad, usually relating to how he spoke to the women in the house, such as telling Lyric, the guys are going to keep you because you're hot. And, you know, of course, the most talked about one, him talking to the live feed cameras this week. He was in the gym.

[01:03:15] Melody was there just trying to get her steps in. And he's he's in there talking about, hey, hit me up if you want to get pregnant. Send me your DMs. And then went further than that to talking about Melody saying, oh, we need to find someone to get her pregnant, too, whether she likes it or not. Yeah. Yeah.

[01:03:44] And it's crazy, too, because in a lot of times the messenger is is very important in certain jokes. Right. So there are certain things that maybe Drew could say to Melody that she wouldn't be so offended. But Kamu didn't have that relationship. I don't think so either. I don't think I don't think I said that. I don't know anyone who could have said that. Yeah. Listen, I don't know her life. Right. She's a stand up comedian. Maybe that's something that she you know, we've seen her roasts. They're not great. Right. So maybe that's something that she does respect. She likes to make jokes and this and other.

[01:04:13] But again, to me, they didn't even have that relationship to be having those types of jokes. So it's already to me, it's already a bad joke. But then on top of that, it's a bad joke. And I don't think the person receiving it is going to receive it from you the way you would think so. Right. I think that. Yeah, I think that like, yeah, if it's somebody who she's a lot closer with, spend a lot of time with, like if Mallory said some weird shit like that, I think she'd be like, all right, whatever. That's her girl. They spent hours and hours in time.

[01:04:38] Now, if Roman lyric can fall in love in two days, you can really start to make some really good ties with people to where they would let some of that stuff slide. Kamu did not spend that time with Melody to be saying stuff like that. So it was already kind of off. But then on top of that, I don't know why he thought she would receive that well. Yeah. Or anyone ever would. Yeah. I mean, he was asked about this by pretty much every interviewer. And he claimed he didn't even remember saying it.

[01:05:06] And whatever it was that he didn't remember saying, but the interviewers were saying, he said he did. He's claiming he did have that type of relationship with Melody, that she's a comedian. And therefore, ha ha. You know, he was just joking. So funny. Laugh it off. Act like it didn't happen. But it did happen. And even Melody talked to Drew about that creepy moment. Yeah. And it's bad. This is, again, it's a bad joke already.

[01:05:37] It's steeped in misogyny as well, you know. And so it's already a bad look. Like you said, most people are not even going to accept that kind of joke anyway. You did it on national TV, which is a crazy thing to do. And then because Melody goes back and tells Drew, it starts to affect your game. If Melody was like, you know what? Rub it off. That's nothing. Then you're fine. But that's not how she reacted. That's not how you should have expected her to react. In fact, the fact that she went back and told the FAP Alliance, you should have assumed

[01:06:05] that she was going to go do that because she was telling them everything. They spent every minute together if they can. And so, yeah, it was just it was bad gameplay, but also a bad joke. Yeah. Now, that wasn't the only time Melody had issues with Kamu conversations. In late July on live feed, she complained to Drew about how you can't have a conversation with Kamu other than him bringing up religion and relationships, saying the same things over and over again, talking about his ideal wife. And as she said, having the discussion she had in seventh grade.

[01:06:36] Now, then, as they were further talking more recently, she, Barrett and Mallory talked about how the way he would jump into conversations. And Mallory said every time he joined a conversation, she got sad. And, you know, and Melody and Barrett agreed. They were like, yeah, you know, like one of them mimicked him saying, hey, how's it going? And the other one said, well, it was better before you got here.

[01:07:06] So, yeah, it's just the same thing over and over again with him that. Now. Saying all this. Melody and Mallory and, you know, you talked about it a little earlier. They were still willing to put it aside and vote to keep him after some convincing by Yash if it hadn't been for Drew bringing them back. So I won't say this was why he was evicted.

[01:07:33] I do think it was in the back of their minds, even as they wavered, like you said, Drew would just say, but it's come. You know, I think that would re-trigger the memory of, oh, yeah, that's right. Mallory said, I must be dead. If I must be dead. I must be dead if somebody didn't vote to evict him. You know, that's you that's you. So you socially dug yourself into a hole so deep that strategy goes out the window at that point. Like, I don't care. You just got to be out of the house.

[01:08:02] I can't have, you know, and I listen. Somebody was watching him from outside the house. I feel you on that one. I was like, he got to go. He's got to go. But that, you know, that's my own personal thing. But, you know, for her, it's because they didn't have that personal relationship. Him jumping into the conversations and pretending to be nice. Sure, he should be pretending to be nice. But, you know, it's even better actually being involved in other people's conversations. It's a meaningful way that they are talking about you coming in and you making a conversation about you finding your wife in the Bible.

[01:08:32] These people don't want to talk about that. Talk about what they want to talk about. Learn something new about these people. Play the social game. So, yeah, he was definitely lacking in that area. But he did try to schmooze, but it became so surface level for certain people. Right, right. Now, I should mention that one of the subheadings for this rule is to keep your politics and controversial beliefs to yourself.

[01:08:55] We did mention that he clearly, he didn't talk politics as far as we know, but he certainly talked Bible. And so, you know, some people would say, well, Christianity, that's not a controversial belief. Not everybody would agree with you. I have seen some very otherwise nice people in Big Brother who don't understand that not everyone shares their beliefs.

[01:09:21] And no, maybe the Jewish kid and the Sikh guy don't want your Christian prayers every night at mealtime. Maybe. Yeah. Yeah. I'm from the Deep South, David. They're going to slap you with the Bible every time they get a chance to hear. And you kind of get used to it. But at some point, you have to step outside yourself and say, yeah, what if these people don't agree with my beliefs? They weren't raising my belief. I don't get to just say, like, well, mine reigns supreme and we all got to talk about it.

[01:09:46] At some point, maybe keep that to yourself and just have that relationship with the Bible and with God on your own. Yeah. Yeah. But at least he, I will say, we know he has some very controversial and pretty terrible beliefs from what we've seen on his social media. Those he did keep mostly to himself other than perhaps his comments about drag.

[01:10:16] And even those weren't, I hate to say this, even those weren't as bad as they could have been. They were still bad. You know, he made excuses. He tried to couch it by saying, oh, I'm an MMA fighter. I have an image, blah, blah, blah. Yeah. That's not the reason. We know the reason. So, so he at least kept most of that.

[01:10:41] But like, that's, I think, like I said, I think if most of the people in there knew some of the things we have seen on his social media. They would not feel like, yeah, we're going to be friends outside. I don't think that would have happened. I would definitely need an explanation for sure. Like you would have to like, you have to explain to me like I'm five years old, how you have come into the house, infiltrated it and gone undercover as somebody you're not.

[01:11:08] Because if you feel this way about these people and these populations and these identities, then you can't possibly want to be friends with me, you know, because we do not align there. And that's like a hard line that I draw as well. So, you know, he did a good job of doing exactly that, going undercover and keeping that to himself. A lot of people would not be able to do that. And we've seen it in the past where it does premiere in the game. Yeah. His leak through. We did, you know, we saw it leak through in certain areas.

[01:11:38] But a lot of that, I think he just passed off as joking. You know, ha ha. Ah, yeah. Talking about, you know, women this way. Yeah. It's not really joking when that kind of shows your real belief. Yeah. I imagine we're going to hear a lot more about his beliefs in the next couple of weeks. Well, you might. I've already preemptively blocked him. So what I hear will be coming through others because I didn't need him.

[01:12:06] You know, I got a jump scare when Chuck came out and immediately liked one of my videos, which clearly was not one of the videos about him. It was about earlier in the season. But it's like, oh, hell, Chuck is on TikTok. Now I'm just waiting. The last thing I want is to hear from Kamu about the videos that I have posted about him. So I just I don't need that in my life for who, you know, I'm not embarrassed by them. I stand by them.

[01:12:35] I don't need to hear from him about them. That's so real. Yeah, I get it. All right. Well, we can move on to rule six, which says not to be too much of a threat. And this was the reason he gave in interviews about why he was taken out. And often when people do that, it's a cliche. It's not really true. But in this case, I have to agree. It definitely played a major role.

[01:13:01] Even coming into the game, I said in our preview podcast, I think his muscles are going to define him on the show. Take one look at him and it's pretty clear he'll be a comp beast. But he claims he wants to show he's not that I guess in a way he did show he wasn't a comp beast when he lost to two women over 50.

[01:13:19] But he still looked like one and could easily have become one if he had been allowed to stick around, because at least history tells us the later comps tend to favor someone like him. And indeed, that was the biggest issue. The main pitch to keep Kamu was that he would go after the icons and take them out.

[01:13:42] But the problem with that was first, as we've already discussed, there's no guarantee he wouldn't just hop right back in bed with the icons if they won power. And second, even if he stayed against them and like he did, he succeeded in his mission. He knocked all three of them out. Who's going to take him out, especially when he was aligned with Josh and Taylor and Lala, who as a whole have certainly been better at comps than FAP?

[01:14:12] Yeah, once him and Josh linked up for sure, it felt like, OK, we've seen this story before. We've seen the McKenzie and Chelsea. We've seen Jag and Matt. We've seen, you know, you could throw Boy Jane in there, too. But we've seen it where the more capable people are about to just start taking people out. And a lot of times you get those people out very early or, you know, at the beginning of the jury before they get a lot of momentum. You know, Heisem got taken out a pitch too early, but they knew not to let him get too far.

[01:14:41] You know, they end up getting Cameron out the first chance. They really had a chance to get him out. You know, had Jag stayed out, it would have been great for that same exact season, you know, because it's really tough for people who are not as skilled in challenges to win those later comps. So they knew. But you're right. He was a walking just like billboard for threat. If somebody has to tell you to put a shirt on because you're too threatening with your shirt off, that should tell you something. His cast photo was shirtless.

[01:15:10] The only person in the cast photo who just was not wearing a shirt, you know. So it's like at that point, you know, that it's something he's proud of, but it's also something that he didn't instinctively know to play down. And he instinctively knew to play down a lot of other stuff. I've given him a lot of credit, you know, just talking about the things that he did well. But once they figured out that not only was he good at competitions, but also he can move through the house pretty easily and float to the power, you know, to the different power structures when needed.

[01:15:38] It was like, oh, yeah, not only your physical threat, but I also can't trust you to work with me because you would leave your allies high and dry. And I've seen you do it. And so there's no way you can erase those memories from me because we all watched it with our own eyes. Yeah. And that's that's the thing. You know, Drew said in a camera talk that Kamu was the biggest threat in the game. Mallory said she was afraid of Kamu winning the game. She was, you know, whereas they were confident they could get someone like Angela out earlier.

[01:16:09] Like you said, him putting on a shirt that didn't hide who he was or who he would become. And anyone who was thinking about their own game long term understood if you keep a dangerous enemy to get rid of other people that you worry about, you still have a dangerous enemy at the end of it. So it's, you know, there's that aspect of things. And there's also the issue to this point, Kamu and Yasha and others have made repeated comments.

[01:16:39] Oh, D is so terrible in comms. These icons, they're bad. Angela will never win anything and so on. If they're that terrible, why do you need Kamu to take them out? You just need people like Drew and Mallory and Melody to stop throwing, heaven forbid. Yeah, this is something that just goes through this house in general with this cast. It's where the person that they say can never win something will immediately go on and win.

[01:17:07] You know, like watching Angela win that blockbuster after the entire house counted her out was just it was wild. Right. Same thing with Lala. Chuck's like, oh, she's she can't possibly win anything. Chuck would have bet money that she was never going to beat him in anything. And then she immediately beat him in the wall. Right. Exactly. And so it's just like the the the read on everybody just kind of being like so set in stone. Right. Like nothing can change. Everything is very static with these people.

[01:17:35] And then they always get shown that no, they're in on any given Sunday. Somebody else can just take the reins. And it was something he wasn't prepared for. You know, he did a good job pivoting. But yeah, for him to have been one of the bigger threats, he wasn't actually necessity to anybody. Right. I think for Yash, maybe. But Yash is probably thinking at some point I can't go to the end with him. Or if I do, maybe I think I can just beat him.

[01:18:03] But if I'm Lala, if I'm Taylor, I'm thinking, OK, we got to get this man out because sure, he says he would go to the end with us. But is he going to choose us over Yash? I'm not so sure. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Well, the seventh rule says to trust almost nobody. What did you think of Kamu in terms of this rule? He was playing so messy that he was trusting too many people. Too many people were trusting him, too.

[01:18:33] So it's hard for me to kind of separate the two because because of the level of trust he was giving to people, they were giving it back. We, you know, rarely did we see him trust Melody with some information that he shouldn't. Right. Because like I said, we did. He just didn't have that. He never tried it. But once he did trust you. Oh, yeah. He'll hand you the keys to his game right then, you know, and let you take it. The issue is that most of the people he did that with at that point, they were like, oh, no, he's good. You know, he was he was willing to use that information to gain trust.

[01:19:02] But eventually trusting Drew was one of his downfalls. Right. Like the idea that he doesn't want to put Barrett up because it might hurt Drew's feelings. And but he wants to keep dog. Put take dog down, take dog down. You cannot be that loyal to Barrett already. You don't you trust him that much. I'm sorry to Drew that much. You you trust him that much. You gave him the keys. He can go do whatever he wants with this. And he did. And I think that's a big part of it. Like he did trust some of the wrong people and he did it a lot.

[01:19:33] But I guess it just kept working out. So it's really hard to be like this. It's a definite flaw because eventually it was going to catch up with him. It just took a little diamond to get there. Yeah. Yeah. He did say in his interview with Sharon Tharp that if he could change something, he wouldn't have continued to trust Devens and Drew as much as he did after there had been indications about them not being honest with him. I don't know that he ever trusted them fully. He did hand over things that he shouldn't have, like you said.

[01:20:02] But. I don't know. Would that have helped him? I don't know. You know, he. He. He convinced Yash. Well, if he had not for if he had not trusted Devens and he could have convinced Yash to nominate all three icons. Then Devens would have had to use the diamond power of veto on himself instead of on D.

[01:20:32] So it might have put him in a better position because he'd have been against D and Angela. Even then. If Angela still wins the blockbuster. I don't think Kamu beats D. It would have been more possible. But he didn't even beat Haley and people really don't like Haley.

[01:20:55] So I just it's a long road of maybes and I don't think that it ends anywhere. Yeah, I don't agree with him that he trusted them too much. Because his trust for them is what kept him in the game too. It was it was like it was like a double edged sword because he trusted Devens so much. Devens also trusted him more than he should have. They are, you know, Drew and him were in an alliance. So he trusted Drew. He gave him the keys. Also, that alliance did keep him relatively safe.

[01:21:24] You know, he's not at the top of Drew's hit list there. He's not at the top of Devens at that point. He's on the list. Make no mistake. But they have they're incentivized to keep him around. They have all these multiple alliances that he's in. So, yeah, I wouldn't say that he trusted them. Too much. Because again, not had not been for the diamond power veto. He probably would have just did either wins H.O.H. here, probably this this round or he finds a way to go and gain trust with somebody else who wins. Now, if that wins, he's probably screwed. Right.

[01:21:52] If anybody but Drew wins, he's probably screwed. But. There's so many people who he wouldn't be screwed with if he stayed. So, yeah, I don't think he I don't think he trusted too many people too much. I agree. All right. Well, with that, it is about time to wrap things up. So what are your final thoughts about Kamu in the game here? He broke a lot of rules, but at the same time, he did a lot of things really well.

[01:22:17] I think overall, he you don't see that much impressive gameplay from a pre-juror where you can tangibly talk about the things that they did well and the things that they might have messed up on. A lot of times, you know, you come in and there's this one glaring error that just kind of haunts you throughout the game. But with him, he had he was so skilled in certain areas that you kind of could overlook some of those things in the real time. When I know when once he got evicted, I was like, damn, why did Kamu lose? Right.

[01:22:46] Like, I have to actually sit and think about it. Like, because you're going to have to listen to find out. Oh, crap. Yeah. I know. Right. I can't just let you tell me. And so. But yeah, because my first instinct was like twist screw diamond power veto. So, you know, if it wasn't for that, he'd still be in the game, which is probably true. But I think that there were still rules that he was breaking on the way to that. And that if less he was able to like once he gets in the jury, I think he's he's almost in a safe place. But getting to the jury was going to get tougher and tougher for him the more he backstabbed people.

[01:23:16] And so I thought it was impressive. I I think we've seen enough of him. I know he said he wanted to play again. I'm good. I'm I'm good. But, you know, for somebody who does not make the jury, I thought it was a valiant effort. Yeah. Yeah. Before I get to my thoughts, it occurs. But yeah, we didn't even mention the twist. And I know there are people out there going, oh, he got twist screwed. He got twist screwed. It's big brother. If this is part of the game. Yeah.

[01:23:42] If this were survivor, maybe I would be a lot more upset because, yes, I do get as anyone who watches the survivor version of this podcast, no, or listens to. I get very upset at the twists that Jeff Probst adds to survivor. This is big brother. There are all sorts of twists that come in. And in this case, yes, there was a twist. But all the things that we've talked about and what I'm about to just wrap up here in my thoughts

[01:24:12] led to him being the one who was chosen. If he hadn't done all these things, the twist wouldn't have mattered. So that's why, to me, it is not a twist screwed. He screwed himself and there was a twist. Right. The Diamond Power Vito is canon. We've seen it before. This is not like Rachel Riley in that hamster wheel. I will, to the day I die, be like, what was that? It was some completely outside of the game that we've never seen before.

[01:24:42] And there was almost nothing she could do strategically in that moment to save herself. It was a competition. She lost it. She got booted out of the game. And to me, that's the definition of me. And twist screw here. People are getting handed powers and everybody knows about it. Everybody knows about it. And they were actively playing up to the cameras to try to get those powers. They were gravitating toward the people who got the powers or the punishments because they're like, oh, the people like you. I need to start hanging out with you. We saw that. So they were playing into the twist as well. I won't be able to give them too much grace for that.

[01:25:11] But I will go on record and say the Diamond Power Vito is hella strong. And it was going to take something hella strong to snipe him out the way it did. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think they would have gotten him eventually. It's just a matter of when and how. Yeah. Yeah. This was the perfect power to do it at the perfect time. But he came into the game as an obvious physical threat. And as the game progressed, he turned into a strategic threat as well.

[01:25:40] At almost every turn, he made his own target bigger, whether it was attacking Jason at the tea party for no good reason, jumping ship from his tight alliance and letting Chuck sink, being so obviously connected to Yash in the decision to target Dee and Angela, or floating to wherever the power was. Sometimes, as we discussed, he was good at these things, like the way he convinced Lala not to nominate him after she had voiced her intention to do so.

[01:26:06] Other times, he just thought he was good and left people shaking their heads. And even when he did things well, he did them in such an obvious manner that it was later held against him to show how much of a threat he was. At the tea party, Kamu said, Jason, quote, can't sit here and act like you're playing an honest game. Yet that's exactly what Kamu tried to do himself when he clearly wasn't. And people caught on.

[01:26:31] It's one thing to keep a comp thread around when you know for sure they're on your side. It's quite another when you don't know where they'll be next week, or you're pretty darn sure they will almost certainly be against you, whether it's now or in a little while. So we know Kamu had other issues, too, especially in the way he talked to some of the women in the house.

[01:26:53] It's more difficult to say that specifically played a role because while Melody and Mallory certainly wanted him gone for those reasons a few days ago, they almost changed their minds in spite of it. And, you know, just they were mostly convinced to return to the fold due to strategic reasons. But these other things undoubtedly played a role as well.

[01:27:16] So it was Kamu's threat level that was the overarching theme among everyone, whether they liked him or they couldn't stand him personally. Not just his potential ability to win comps, despite his crucial losses to Lala and Angela, but also the way he moved in the game. That combination made him too big a risk to keep around for everyone in the mosh pit,

[01:27:41] even though their individual paths forward don't all necessarily align. He was, in a way, able to bring them all together for this particular task. And that is why Kamu lost. Man, that's good. Yeah. Like I said, I came in being like, why did he lose? But I think you summed that up pretty well. Thank you. Yes. Kamu, bringing people together. You know, who would have thought?

[01:28:11] That Angela moment will, I will never forget it. There have been big brother moments that I can just, I can, I can smell the moment. You know, I just remember where I was and watching that lady win that blockbuster and knowing what was about to happen. And this, this, this week, six curse is actually, you know, it's, I kind of love it, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Last year with Riley, it was just, I mean, it was so good. I don't even remember who the person was the prior year, but it was good too.

[01:28:41] You know, keep on coming. I'm always looking for around day 44. Yeah. I'd rather not have people like that in the house to start with. That would be my preference by a long shot. But yes, if, if CBS is going to keep giving such people a TV platform, then yes, let's get them out as soon as possible. All right.

[01:29:06] Well, we will soon be going to predictions here, which of course are spoiler free and written without any knowledge of what happened on the feeds after the eviction. But first a few other things. I want to mention that the rules that we have been talking about here are similar to the survivor rules and similar enough that, you know, those rules come in a shorter, much more colorful version as a poster.

[01:29:30] And so if you're a survivor fan as well, you can go to robhiswebsite.com slash yxlostfeed, scroll down to the poster, click on it, order it. They also come in poster on a t-shirt form. You can find those there as well. Uh, and you can find the checklist on a t-shirt as well, which are closer, though not exact. And yes, I know we don't have big brother versions at some point. I, I, I, at some point, maybe I don't know what to tell you.

[01:29:59] Uh, you know, I'd, I'd like to say yes, but I just, I can't promise anything. This is what we've got right now. Um, in the meantime, uh, you know, if you want to, uh, message us and say, Hey, how come you, you don't have those? Well, you could do that on social media, uh, because big brother is a 24 seven game.

[01:30:22] And you get our thoughts here once a week for me, Chappelle, you get two or three times a week, but different, different types of thoughts. Uh, but you know, you can find us elsewhere anytime. Uh, I post videos every day at Tik TOK, YouTube and Instagram where I'm at David Bloomberg TV, typically two or three videos per day with stuff from the show, uh, analysis jokes. It's a wide range of things.

[01:30:51] Um, and, uh, you know, I, I passed 15,000 on Tik TOK. I'm trying to get to 10,000 on Instagram. That's like a magic number on Instagram. So come, come join in the fun there. Uh, I've also been podcasting about the traders, Australian, Australia season three on the trade our podcast. That's T R A I D A R. I am co-hosting every other episode this season. Um, I'm going to try to co-host for traders, India.

[01:31:20] That has three episodes per week. I'm already six episodes behind as we record this. It's crazy. Uh, but the traders Ireland is coming up soon. So I'll probably be able to jump on some of those. And just as a side note, if you used to subscribe to the trade our on Apple podcasts, you might need to resubscribe. There was some hitch there.

[01:31:41] Uh, so if you're suddenly not getting those podcasts, just check for those, but you can find all of my various accounts at link tree slash David Bloomberg, including my blue sky, where both of us make our social media homes. We encourage everyone to do likewise for your big brother discussions. My favorite thing about blue sky is the block and the mute feature. Oh my God. It's like you do it. And then these people cease to exist. And so, uh, if you're getting harassed or anything like that, it's not Twitter, right?

[01:32:10] Where they're just going to be able to, you got to see the polls. They could get all on your page and stuff like that. Blue sky just blast them into oblivion. And I love it over there. So, uh, you can definitely follow me at Chappelle's kickback on blue sky. David is at David Bloomberg. Um, but if you come at me too spicy, I can block you and I will, I'm not going to think twice about it. Um, you can also find me at, at recap kickback on all social media platforms, um, to keep up with all the podcasts and I'm doing. And we got a lot of stuff coming your way. I think a different world is being rebooted.

[01:32:39] And I will be talking about that with Mari. Uh, also there's the snowfall, uh, a sequel is coming out and we will be talking about that as well. Uh, G and I will be talking about the upcoming season of Abbott elementary subscribe to the podcast. And you'll see, uh, when those things drop, uh, make sure you follow us on social media. Cause we will post those links as well. And then you can catch me on RJP talking about the slop and this Sunday, um, because big brother

[01:33:05] unlocked is going to be the first half of our big brother two hour block on Sunday. And so I will be on that podcast, uh, talking to, um, two of my coworkers about, uh, this show and whatever they're going to reveal for us on unlock. And David, I know we're creeping up on the thousandth episode. So it has to, I'm assuming a lot to going to talk about that a little bit. Maybe now it, I was wondering why did they switch it from the usual Friday? And I thought, well, maybe they had something on.

[01:33:34] I think I figured it out by putting the two together. They're calling this a two hour episode of big brother. If it hit, so that way they get the thousandth episode on a Thursday eviction episode. I think that's the real reason that they did it. That in football. Was there football on Friday night? I think there's preseason. I think the preseason is going on right now, if I had to guess. And so I'm not going to put money on it.

[01:34:03] Like I'm going to put on, uh, on Julie and I got one-on-one questions. Um, but, uh, yeah, I think between the two of those things, you're right. They perfectly align to where, yeah, yeah, there's football on, right? Uh, yeah, there's football on, on Friday. So, uh, yeah, I think it perfectly aligns with them being able to do exactly what you said. Thousandth episode coming soon. Yeah. Yeah. I don't watch preseason football. It is so pointless to me. It's like, I, I don't even, I don't even bother.

[01:34:30] I'm a huge, you know, Bears fan, but I just, I, I don't care after, you know, before the season starts because like they're playing their third string quarterback and mostly seconds. What is that going to tell us about anything? Nothing. Nothing. Yeah. Um, so yeah, that's, uh, that's all I got going on, David. Okay. All right. Well, and it's time for our predictions. Uh, and this has the potential to be a very interesting week, depending on who wins HOH.

[01:34:58] One difference this week is D and Devens will actually be going forth. Uh, the question is what happens if one of them gets it? Because I think D had quite a shock this week and it's going to push her to actually win. They, they had some clues that melody and Mallory were thinking of flipping on them. Does that mean they might make a preemptive move against their recently added, uh, members of the mosh pit?

[01:35:28] I don't think they will. I think it would be stupid to turn on the mosh pit that quickly, especially after Yash just targeted D go after him. You have the perfect excuse. And she made comments on live feeds this past week about wanting to backdoor him if she wins HOH. So I mean, and that makes sense given his comparabilities. I'm thinking the initial nominees are going to be Taylor Lala and Haley. And then, like I said, backdoor Yash.

[01:35:57] The question is who actually gets voted out? I think most people are to the point that they just, they don't care about Haley so much, which is what I worried would happen. So I think that she's probably the one if Taylor or Lala don't win veto themselves, I think if anyone uses the veto, it will be someone to take off Haley so that they could say, oh, look, we saved you. Stay with us type of thing.

[01:36:27] And then they'll put Yasha, but he still has the blockbuster. And I worry that he's going to win it. And it will unfortunately be Taylor who goes home in the thousandth episode while many of us watch in Milwaukee at rehab. Yeah, you know me, you know, my predictions, how they go. I I'm going to predict what I want to happen. I have been wrong every single week. And so let's know you were right this time. You predicted Kamu for this one. Did I? Did I predict he was going to get out? I believe so.

[01:36:56] Oh, yeah. Well, that's definitely what I wanted. So you're right. I did get what I wanted. Dang, that's why that felt so good. Yeah. So here's what I want this time. I think that after that blockbuster, I think my girl Angela is hot. I think she's ready. I think she's ready to get that get that HLH key. And I think although you said it would be dumb to target the FAP Alliance, Angela been wanting Drew out for so long. I think it's time. I think I thought I think she's she's that lady. She's crazy. That lady's crazy.

[01:37:26] You know, all you got to do is like that lady don't sleep at night. She'll wake up and then decide that he was. You know how Drew is. Drew walks around the house and people like can't trust it. I think she's finally going to take the shot. I think Drew is going to end up on the block. And if Angela has anything to say about it, he'll be going home. I definitely think Thog will end up on the block with them. But I don't know the third person. Maybe you put up. I don't. Maybe you put up Drew and Barrett at the same time. But I do think that Drew's days might be numbered. OK. All right.

[01:37:57] Well, we will keep that in mind going forward and we'll we'll see what kind of what kind of reception that gets in the hall full of, you know, a few hundred people, I believe. But as we wrap up, I want to encourage people to check out the RHAP patron program at Rob has a website dot com slash patron. There's Facebook groups. There's discord.

[01:38:21] There's a bunch of patron only podcasts specifically for Big Brother, like the one you mentioned, the slop. And, you know, there's like I, you know, you had early access to a HabCon. There are usually discounts and things like that. But so make sure that you become a patron to get all of the benefits for that. Yeah. And of course, you can support shows like ours and everything on the network by becoming a patron at Rob has a website dot com slash patron.

[01:38:50] And make sure you're subscribed to all the RHAP podcasts that we know big brother dot com where you can select your podcast service of choice and find all the great content that RHAP has to offer. And we want to thank Scott St. Pierre, Jess Sterling and the whole RHAP, Rhappups family for all the work they do. And of course, making sure that the podcast is posted and everything else. And of course, all the rest of the people for, you know, being a part of this network, too. It's a good time. It is. And you know what? Rob just posted on Blue Sky.

[01:39:20] They are looking for more production help. So, you know, and I don't just say help like a volunteer. I mean, this is a job, you know. So if someone is listening and you've made it all the way this far and you're, you know, you've done like video editing and posting and stuff like that before and you're interested, definitely look for that and find out how to how to how to join the crew. Yeah, we might need you. Yeah.

[01:39:48] So with that, you know, thank you, Chappelle, for a great episode about a not so great person. Uh, we'll be we'll we'll see everyone in about a week where because rehab con goes to late Friday night, which means I'm staying there till Saturday and then have to come back home. Uh, you know, we're not entirely sure of our schedule yet.

[01:40:12] We're aiming aiming for Saturday night, which probably by the time we record it and it gets posted early Sunday morning might be a little later Sunday, depending on like if I sleep at all during rehab con. Um, you know, if I'm able to take notes, how surprising it is for the person to go that type of thing, all those variables. So look for it. I would say late Saturday night, early Sunday morning. That's our hope.

[01:40:41] But until then, like we said, you can find us on social media and hopefully I will see, uh, many of you at rehab con till then. Bye.
