[00:02:51] I'm David Bloomberg and of course, I am happy to be joined once again by my co-host, Jessica Lewis. Well, hello. It's been so long since you and I have chatted and hung out, so this will be a lovely little change in scenery for you, I do believe. Yes, yes. People who are Big Brother or International Traders fans have probably seen me podcasting all summer long, but it is great to have you back again. How has your summer been? Not much of a summer, I will say.

[00:03:21] Unfortunately, I have been very inundated with work, but it's also been nice to just enjoy the air, the warm air, going outside with my dog. So those things have been lovely. And now the cold weather seems to be creeping in already, and I'm not a fan. Not here. Not here. Yeah, here it is. And it's like summer just goes away all of a sudden. It's like, yep, now it's fall. Congratulations. But I am doing okay aside from being very busy.

[00:03:48] And I'm actually weirdly like, not that I'm not excited about Survivor, but I feel very strange about the introduction that we have received to this particular season because it's so very different than what we are accustomed to. Yes. Yeah. And by now, listeners may have seen or heard some of the preseason material, but as you just mentioned, they may have noticed there's a lot less of it than there has been in the past.

[00:04:18] And that's because for reasons known only to them, Survivor production did not have any media do pregame interviews. So the only information we're getting is directly from them. Now I say this and literally just before getting on here, I follow all the players that I can on Instagram. And one of them popped up something that was not from Survivor. It was a question from another TV show, I think.

[00:04:48] So I don't think they were out there. Maybe they sent a question. I don't know. I didn't have time to look at it. And then all of a sudden it was there. But yeah, I seriously question the wisdom of this decision to do it that way. Of course, as regular listeners know, this is not the first time I've disagreed with them. But I'm going to just jump in here. As someone who is a former Survivor player, I do also kind of appreciate the unknown because

[00:05:18] people tend to have people tend to make determinations and judgments based upon pregame press and what people see. And I know that we are included. But what about you? I know. I'm not. So I'm just saying that sometimes it's nice to walk in with kind of like the unknown, because this is old school Survivor, right? When we didn't know things about the Survivor players, because all of this pregame content didn't exist at the very beginning when Survivor first started. Right.

[00:05:45] So like you were actually learning about the players while you were watching the season, as opposed to coming in with already these preconceived notions about them. So it's going to be interesting because I feel like we're shifting and considering what we've learned about 51 and how it's everything is on the table. Maybe this is one of the things that we're like, let's go back to that. Not knowing everything about the players before the season starts kind of approach. Yeah. I don't think so.

[00:06:12] I think it's more about controlling everything. Like, why are we? Why are we giving Entertainment Weekly and parade these social media hits? We should take the social. Watch our YouTube videos. Watch our Instagram videos. Don't watch theirs. I don't think it's a coincidence that happened with new owners, new way of thinking about those sorts of things. Oh, that's fair. You know, because we don't have as much to analyze.

[00:06:43] We're going to make this a quick fire preview. Normally, we split it up into a couple of podcasts. We're going through all 21 players in one podcast. We're giving just the highlights or the lowlights of what we think about each. And of course, you'll get our predictions based on even less information, which will still be 100% accurate as always, because after all, I was right last season.

[00:07:08] As you guys, by continuing to have your label there on the video. But I do want to remind you of this so long ago when you were wrong about something. Oh, I can't see that. I don't know what that says. It does say, okay, I guess I was wrong. You actually posted that back when it was Twitter. That was a long time. I don't even know what that's talking about.

[00:07:33] I mean, I'm just saying November 22, 2023, I've memorialized it forever and always. Okay, three years ago, I was wrong about it. The first time ever. I can't remember. Listen, I'm wrong all the time. So I have to go back and feel better about myself for a few minutes that people were wrong that one time. Well, just in case it should happen again with one of us.

[00:08:04] And, you know, you're one of the players who's listening to this. We say something that sounds bad. Just remember, we're basing it on very limited information. And in some cases, it's information that you gave. So, you know, don't blame us. Yes. It's all we got. Yeah. So for anyone who is a new listener, welcome. For those who have been here before, welcome back. As a reminder to the latter and to bring the former up to speed, once the season starts,

[00:08:31] every week we will discuss what each voted out player did right and wrong in terms of rules I originally wrote back after the very first Survivor season and have been updating ever since. We look at each episode and also back to everything that's led up to it, going beyond what's on TV, diving into everything that's available that isn't a spoiler, including interviews, secret scenes, social media, and more. Now, one other thing that I want to mention.

[00:08:58] I intentionally did not listen to Rob and Mike's pregame podcast, so as not to be swayed in my opinions. And so, you know, sometimes we may have a similar sense of humor. So if I make the same joke as them, well, we came to it naturally. You know, it happens. Yeah, I didn't listen either. I didn't have time. Before we do get to the players, I want to mention something that you just talked about. The concept of the open era. Yes.

[00:09:28] It sounds really dumb. I'm sorry. You know, Jeff is saying for the first time, every twist, every advantage, every whatever is open. How is this new? It's not like there was ever a restriction that said, no, Jeff, you've used that before. You can't bring it back again. Right. Everybody's always known that. This is why everyone always thinks the knowledge's power is floating around.

[00:09:56] Everybody's like, wow, I can't say anything because they might have knowledge's power. It was not on the show for four years or something like that. But everybody's like, oh, just in case, because they knew everything was always available. Right. So I don't know how this is going to happen. I'm rocking this shirt today, just so you know. Oh, yes. You sent me. Yes. About the advantages. No more advantages. No more advantages. Yes.

[00:10:28] So I don't think that will work. This time. No, that would be something that's open. That would be something that's open. We're going back to season one. You know, that's open and available there. Yeah. No more advantages. Just mess with everybody. They'll be expecting it, but there's nothing. That would be hilarious. That would be fun. If he opened it up by saying, it's the open era. Anything is in play. And then they bring up nothing.

[00:10:54] And at the end of the seasons, Jeff's like, well, I told you anything wasn't played. This is season one. Drop the five. I would love that. Keep the one. I like that. That's good. Maybe it'll become clearer as they play. Like, maybe this is just the promo stuff. And Jeff will eventually say, well, this is it. But I think we both worry that he's going to throw even more BS into the game, which everyone knows we love so much. Yes.

[00:11:24] Well, and I do think the current structure as well indicates some other potential problems considering there's 21 players. And. I, my understanding is they're starting with 20, you know, two tribes of 10. So you're going to like that. Oh, I love that. One person out on a journey who presumably is going to replace whoever gets voted out.

[00:11:50] But this is, this is where I get a little bit nervous because there was that one season and I'm forgetting, was it? Oh, I know. They got kicked off. Like people got. Yes. Yeah. Like immediately. If they do that, that's really sad. I really hope they don't do that. I really hope they don't. People who said they heard a rumor that that was happening. I think it was just a rumor and I hope it's not happening because that was the worst. That was the worst.

[00:12:19] And I, and again, I hate to go back to, you know, someone who went through the process, but to go through that entire process. Right. And to, to, to like put your whole life on hold like that. And then to just be like, yeah, we're going to do a schoolyard pick and buy. Um, you're not on the show is just, that has got to be the most crushing moment ever. And so I really, really hope that they don't do that again. Cause that was such an awful, awful moment when they did it that one time. So.

[00:12:50] Right. Right. And yeah, I just, and it's also bad for them. They've invested all this time and effort and you could lose one of your most interesting people. Just like that. It's, it would be dumb. Yes. All right. Well, let's get started here. We're going to go through each player alphabetically by first name as CBS put it out. Now, mind you, CBS put it out in two different ways. In print, it used their actual names on YouTube.

[00:13:18] It used the names they're going to be called, which altered where two of the people were. So, uh, you know, yeah. What are we going to do here? You know, what, what, what, what can I tell you if they can't even figure it out and get it straight? I don't know what, what we're going to do. Um, so we're starting with. Aaliyah. And, uh, for those of you who are on audio, we are pulling up the pictures as well to help out a little bit.

[00:13:46] She is 24 and a chef from Rhode Island, originally New Jersey. She says she's used to being adaptable, flexible, and for things to change without notice. If that's true, it bodes well for her in the so-called open era of the game. Um, but I think what Jeff said is still mostly hype. Like I just mentioned. So I'll wait to see it in action. Now, of course, being flexible, one of my rules. Uh, so that's good.

[00:14:16] But one thing that should be a rule for pregame questions. Don't say you're going to play like Sari because you're not. I'm sorry. Stop. I will say too, though, she also doesn't give me a Sari vibe. She gives me more just like, she's seems a little bit tough. And, and I'm, she described herself really as like a bold, independent individual, which is great.

[00:14:42] But I'm, I'm nervous for her coming across too strong. And, um, and that's not what Sari, that's not a Sari vibe. Like Sari was much more like social. Like you, you can't help but really like feel like you, you want to get to know her. And I, I don't know if that's necessarily the vibe that Aaliyah is going to give off. I think she seems like a fantastic individual. Like, I think she's going to do great as far as the game itself, like the way that she could

[00:15:12] handle the situations, but I just don't know if she's going to be a little intimidating. And so that's, that's what I was a little bit concerned with her just on the outset that she might be a lot, which might just be it, but not a lot as if like annoying a lot, just like intimidating. And that might be a factor that comes into play and might not bode well for her. But then again, I feel like it depends on where she falls, like whatever, whoever she ends up with, which we don't know, obviously, because we don't know the structure and the breakdown. Yeah.

[00:15:42] Yeah. Those pants are a little intimidating, but I, but I, I'm actually initially about the pants. I was like, what is with these pants? Because I will comment on some people's clothing because I understand where the clothing comes from. Sometimes they dress themselves. Sometimes CBS makes a suggestion. Is that food? I think that's food. And if it's food, it makes it. Oh, it is food. Yeah. She's a chef. I just had that moment of clarity where I was like, initially I'm like these pants, but I'm like, oh, I think that's food.

[00:16:10] But still, I wouldn't have chosen those pants personally, but to each their own. If it's food and she's a chef, maybe that's what she's going for. Yeah. All right. We can move on to go too far. Alexis. Alexis. Um, and she is 34 and from Georgia who believes being a defense attorney means constantly being on the bottom. So that has prepared her for the game. Stop it. Not true. You get the benefit of every doubt.

[00:16:40] I will just say that. I was going to say, I know you're going to love that, but you beat me to the punch. So yes, alliance alliance. Alexis wants an alliance partner who thinks and plays differently from her. She's wrong. And she just doesn't know it yet. You're asking for trouble. If you have an ally who is different, that different from you, because you'll end up disagreeing on everything. Why would you want someone like that?

[00:17:09] But, but we've had, we've seen this before though, where players are like that yin and yang idea, right? The, the, um, was it the Olmers and the Jonathan's kind of thing, like coming together. Right. I mean, I don't know if that's what she's thinking. I'm not sure. I, I hope so. Cause otherwise, yeah. If you think differently, oh, that's just, you know, you're asking for trouble there. Yeah. Yeah. At the same time, she said one of her pet peeves is people who are ruled by their emotions, which is good for rule four.

[00:17:37] But I thought she wanted an ally who thinks differently from her. So does that mean she wants an ally who is controlled by their emotions? Uh, so yeah, I'll just keep coming back to that, I guess. Yeah. I'm, I'm, I'm a little unsure about Alexis, honestly. I mean, I liked what she said in her YouTube, uh, cast intro that people shouldn't be judged by their worst moment, but if she can exploit someone's worst moment in the game, she will. Uh, that's very good.

[00:18:07] She is going to lie about being a lawyer and say she's a care coordinator at a treatment center, which is a job she held previously. Mm-hmm. And I do think that there is, there's a good reason to necessarily, I know that as of late, people have been a little more honest with their professions, but I can see the concern with talking about being an attorney. Uh, but also the, the choice of dress might be a little bit of an issue because she's clearly wearing what appears to be like a suit jacket.

[00:18:34] It's a little, you know, it's not a full on suit, but, but I am very, I'm just, I'm curious about how she is going to implement herself into the game. If she is trying to keep part of that, Oh, covered if you will, but she's also talking about how it's going to affect the way she plays the game because she's, I don't know if there's something that's a little bit, uh, questionable about her.

[00:19:01] Like she's, she's talking about being a lawyer, a woman, a savage and a mother. And like, nobody like that has ever existed on the show. Um, yeah, yeah, there, there actually has been, I'm just, I mean, I don't know if I was savage, but I think, you know, but it's like, you want to put yourself in a particular type of, of box, but then separate yourself from that box at the same time. So it's, it'll be an interesting, um, it's just an interesting look.

[00:19:27] And so I'm, I'm fascinated to see how she brings that all together because you can be all of those things. It's okay. And there have been all of those things on the show previously. Yeah. I think you were pretty, you certainly looked savage with your glowing red eyes. I mean, I did, I did pretty great in the challenges. I'll just say, I'm not trying to brag on myself, but, but you know, I mean, you, you viciously backstabbed, uh, uh, you know, what's his name all by yourself.

[00:19:54] Nobody helped you, obviously, you know, that was a little savage. All your idea, all my idea. Totally. Yeah. So, so, all right, moving on. We have, uh, the first person whose name doesn't quite match up. Uh, her first name is on, but she's going by, I believe it's pronounced tin on. Uh, so, uh, she is 24, a medical student from Fort Worth. She said she wants to play survivor because it lets you connect to life in such a raw and

[00:20:24] authentic way. And she'll get new friends and the outdoors. Now, when I saw that, I was worried she signed up for the wrong show. Yes. Uh, but then the video intro, she said she wanted to play a cutthroat game. So, okay. Uh, I, I don't know why people put different things in the written than in the video, but fine. As much as I didn't like the outdoorsy connecting to life stuff, she may have won me over by

[00:20:50] talking about trying to make insultingly low trades in Catan and listing one of her pet peeves as people who don't know the difference between your and your with apostrophe R E. I very much appreciate that. Yes. Yes. That immediately makes me like you more if you have a grammar pet peeve. Um, and plus, like I said, her video intro showed a different side of her. She seems extremely fun and energetic. However, she also talked about farts and I just, I'm sorry.

[00:21:20] Why do we have to go to farts immediately? Like it's the second sentence out of your introduction about how farts are funny. Uh, I do think she's going to be very entertaining and she will probably try to be that person, uh, on her tribe. She is tiny and she's aware of that, that that might potentially cause her some issues with like, I think as far as challenges are considered, but maybe her personality will balance that out.

[00:21:49] Well, but she's, she's someone who I did say she's a lot and she's a lot in a different way. She's a, she's not a lot as like, she's going to be intimidating. She just might be a lot because she seems very boisterous and she seems very, um, like she wants to have fun and have a good time. And all of that can be great again, if she's with the right people. So she's another one that I'm not, I'm not too sure about how it's going to fall, but she said she's weird, but she's the same kind of weird to everyone.

[00:22:16] So she isn't going to be selective about how she's presenting her weirdness and maybe that'll work for her. I don't know. There seems to be some other characters that might, uh, connect with her in that regard. Yeah. [00:24:08] I am liking her from the start because she said, who doesn't want to lie and deceive in a setting where it's totally acceptable to do so? Yes, exactly. She even said she'd like to play like Richard Hatch, which would be interesting to see. Yes, it would be. She enjoys reading about the dynamics of power and why people in positions of power do what they do, which it's funny because in my original versions of the rules, I recommended people read a book called What Would Machiavelli Do?

[00:24:37] Which was a kind of half comedy look at, you know, the Machiavellian beliefs and things. And so I actually recommended that book for, you know, that some people go out and get it. So and here she is talking about Richard Hatch and essentially the same thing. Yeah, and I do love that she's she wants to be manipulative, but she's like, I'm cutesy. So there's this there's this ability for her to kind of hide that side of her, which will be very fascinating to see.

[00:25:07] I also really appreciate the fact that she's coming from a I guess I want to with her work because she's a voice actor. She's she's competing with people for for very high stake type jobs and not easily. Those aren't jobs you aren't necessarily going to be chosen for very easily. And so I think that she's she's competitive at heart already because of the job she has. But she also understands how to balance the competitive nature with the talent that she has.

[00:25:36] So that one will be an interesting mix as well. So she's if she can present herself in that cutesy way, but still do the manipulation that she intends to. I think she's she's got a good shot at doing very well. Although the the again, these outfits, I'm just curious, like the her legs will be warm. So that's good. I'm not judging anyone. I just know what to go.

[00:26:04] I know what they have to go through with these with living out in the conditions. And I'm just looking at this being like, this is not a safe or smart choice as far as living outdoors. Just saying. All right. We can move to the next person who's out of order at some points. And that is Angelica or Jelly. She is 29 and a sociology professor in Bloomington, Indiana at Indiana University. She didn't say that. I looked it up.

[00:26:32] I mean, I know what universities are in Bloomington, Indiana. Indiana. I'll have to see if my cousin who goes there knows her because my cousin, huge Survivor fan. Also, Jelly said Survivor was her first exposure to sociological questions that would lead to her whole career. And she talks about having critical thinking and analysis skills, which will obviously be helpful in the game if they're applied correctly.

[00:26:55] She also said, being a sociologist, I'm not only an expert on all things social, but I'm literally trained to immerse myself in any environment and social dynamic. Take what I need and put it to good use. There's nobody better equipped to win a social experiment that is Survivor than the sociologists who create them. Now, part of it, I believe you had mentioned to me at one point, some of this questionnaire is filled out, like when you apply.

[00:27:20] That definitely sounded like this is why you should pick me type of answer. It definitely does sound like that. Now, she may be right. I'm getting some good feelings about Jelly. I'm also getting a peanut butter craving. But I just hope she doesn't try to overdo anything. I really love her.

[00:27:41] And I love her because she's recognizing the strengths that she's going to bring into the game based upon the education that she has and the work that she does. And there's a calmness about her that I think is going to be a very interesting component to see her introduced into whatever tribe she's in. There's just when you listen to her speak and when you there's just something about her that you're like, I would like to learn more about her. I'm not sure what it is, but like she just seems like a very genuine type of individual.

[00:28:11] And I love her outfit. I'm going to comment on the clothes again. She's she's she's got the smart choice here. Very smart choice. But I am hoping that she's able to integrate that idea that she just you just spoke of into her gameplay, because I do think she would be able to utilize that to her advantage. So I'm very excited about Jelly. I am very excited about her. OK, we can move on to Brady.

[00:28:37] Now, Brady is a 27 year old professional wrestler originally from LaSalle, Illinois, now in Knoxville, Tennessee, and he hopes to model his game on. Jonathan. Really? Really? They're friends, aren't they? I don't know that they're friends. I know. I think that there was some social media of him meeting Jonathan. OK. OK. I guess it's possible. I don't know.

[00:29:03] He says he wants to be a laid back provider until it's time to strike and people will think he's a big dumb jock, but he has brains. OK, we'll see. But well, I know. But listen, he's pre law. He's that was so he's got like three degrees. He's clearly very smart. And if he leans into that, I am a dumb jock, but I'm also smart at the same time. It might really work for him. And also, he's going to be a beast in challenges.

[00:29:30] And we know that that helped Jonathan greatly because people wanted to keep him around. And I think if he's able to bring the Jonathan we saw the second time around where it was like trying to find more of the balance of the two. I mean, Jonathan made it really far. So maybe, maybe that will work for him. But I got to talk about the pants again. What is with these pants? Yeah. Quite the combination here. I know. Yeah.

[00:29:59] We got a lot of patterns happening here. Yeah, there are many patterns. You're right. There are so many patterns. It's a lot. He'll blend in with the background if he's hiding in the bushes. But, but I do, I do really like now he, he, did he call them Brody's though? And not like, does he have like a fandom that's like Brody's? Is that what he was referring to? Brady. I, I don't know. I didn't notice that. I saw it when he was, when he was speaking, he said Brody's and I'm like, isn't his name Brady? And I'm like, did I miss something?

[00:30:30] So maybe it's B-R-O like bro. Right. So I'm, I'm hoping that there's not too much of a bro thing happening if it's Brody's and we get to that bro path again. But I do, I do think that Brady is, I, I enjoyed him. He's, I, I'm interested to see if how he, how he plays, but yeah, I did. I enjoyed Brady, but yeah, the pants are a lot. Sorry. I'm judging pants today. I'm not sure what's going on.

[00:30:55] Well, next up is Carter, who is a 24 year old livestock farmer, originally from South Dakota. Now in Iowa. Also said he and a friend started a moving company and he has a snow cone truck, which opening it prepared him for the show. I don't know how a snow cone truck prepares you for survivor. But I'm here for it. There's literally no overlap there. I mean, there's, there's not going to be any ice out on survivor. I could tell you that.

[00:31:26] He said he will play like a cross between Rob, presumably Boston, Rob, Ozzy, Tony, and Sam Phelan. No, none of those people. Carter, I'm sorry. You will not be doing that. The answer is no. Where's JT in the list? How is JT not on that list? I mean, come on. Right. But it also seems like he didn't take it. I don't think he took his pregame questionnaire too seriously. So I think he may just be messing with us in it. Probably.

[00:31:52] Like, you know, he did say in the intro video that he's been watching with his mom forever. So that's good news. Yes. I just don't feel like, like we have much to go by here because I really do think he was joking around a lot in that, in that questionnaire.

[00:32:37] He probably was. I do think everyone's just going to really appreciate him and his personality because he is going to seem so non-threatening. Anyone who's a farmer has a snow cone truck and a moving company. Like, what type of threat is he going to be bringing to the game? I think everyone is just going to be like, it's Carter. And that and it will be he will be liked and it will be lovely to watch. I'm very excited about Carter. But he has. Yeah, he's so much like JT. JT.

[00:33:07] I would say the first time around JT. Yeah. JT won when he had Stephen hoping to guide him. Exactly. He needs a Stephen. He needs a Stephen. Yeah. All right. We can move on to Christian. No, no, not that Christian. Different Christian. This one is 26 and a head of HR from Salt Lake City. He says his father used to put together survivor like challenges when he was younger. Speaking of young, he went to college when he was 15 and a half. Right.

[00:33:34] And he wants to, which, by the way, 15 and a half. Why not just say 15? This is this is the problem with with Christian already. He's he's still stuck in the half ages. Right. Yeah. Yeah. He wants to play like a weird mix of Ty, Sari, Tony and Carolyn. That's not just a weird mix. That's something I can't even fathom. Like, it's like taking four pieces of a puzzle and trying to make something out. They don't go together. Right.

[00:34:02] Um, he also said, not only am I willing to do anything to win, but if I'm not winning, I'll do whatever it takes to make everyone else lose. I mean, if everyone else loses, you win. So that is a fair point. That is a fair point. Yeah. Um, I'm worried for Christian. I'm very worried for Christian because he's he's another one that I would put in the a lot category and the a lot category and not the good spot of a lot where it might just be

[00:34:29] too much, uh, where it's just very, he's very, he seems very, he describes himself as very bubbly and extra. He actually used the word extra. And the last thing you want to be on a new tribe of people is extra because when they're looking for any reason to vote you out, they might just say, well, he's a little extra and that could be enough. And so if he doesn't keep that part of himself in check, that could certainly be something

[00:34:56] that people would lean on when they're looking for like an early boot situation. So I'm a little bit worried about Christian. Yes, me too. Me too. Uh, next a person I am not worried. Well, I'm worried for other reasons. We have Danny or Kilby as he will be going by his last name. He is 30, a game designer from Ontario who is known to many people in the survivor community.

[00:35:24] I believe probably listens to this podcast. Uh, he said survivor was, yes, I killed me. Uh, he said survivor was his favorite show as a kid still is today. He met all his best friends, even his girlfriend through survivor. And he's been playing strategic board games for years. He thinks he will play most like your friend in mind, David Wright with aggressive, bold moves built on empathetic, deep bonds.

[00:35:48] And he thinks he can make anyone love him and is a strategic, crazy, mad scientist who can think his way out of any problems. That's what I love. Yes. I'm loving everything he says. Yeah. I do think that he's someone that initially you might have a response to because he does seem very eccentric. But I do think that his puzzle work and his ability to solve issues like that is going

[00:36:18] to keep him around for a long time. If he makes the merge, we know everything ends in a puzzle, in a puzzle with those individual challenges. So that'll be great for him too. I think he is going to find that, that balance. I think he's going to find the balance he needs to do very well in the game because he's going to bring a lot of components that are necessary for his tribe. And then that's going to help him individually as well. Yeah. When I said I was worried about him, I'm more worried because I like him and want to make sure he stays type of word.

[00:36:47] Well, right. And so that's where the threat component comes in, right? Where he might end up, if, if he's so good at puzzles, they'll be like, let's keep him until he gets to the merge. And then once we get to the merge, then we know that Kilby's going to have to go because he's just going to beat us all on puzzles. So that's, that is, that is definitely a concern there as well. All right. Next up, we have Devin, not to be confused with Devin's. He is a 33 year old actor originally from Texas, now in LA.

[00:37:16] He does not plan to tell people he's an actor. And although I just made a joke about Devin's, Devin said he wants to play like Devin's. He's one half of Devin's. It's a Joe and Devin's had a baby, right? Right. He said he identifies with Joe. No, no, I don't see how those go together. There was almost an explosion last season when they did try working together. Yes. It's a very interesting combination. Yeah. Cause he said, if he finds out someone lied to him, he'll be looking for a new alliance,

[00:37:46] which, okay. Yeah. You don't want an ally who lies, but you also can't be abandoning ship in a game. We're lying as part and parcel of it, which Joe never did figure out. Yeah. Here's the thing with Devin. He is a charmer. He's very suave. Like you can just tell. I mean, and he even says like, people are going to describe him as charming, handsome, charismatic, big.

[00:38:11] These are all words again, he used, but depending on who is on his tribe. And there's one person in particular that I'm thinking might not take too kindly to the suave kind of charming personality that I think he's going to be presenting and might just want him to go away. I like him, but I don't know if he's going to be liked, if that makes sense. Like when he's out there because he's going to be too much of a charmer, but that's going

[00:38:39] to potentially cause people to be like, there's something about this guy that I can't trust because he's just trying to be liked by everyone. And I just feel like that maybe is his natural personality. But I mean, just look at the picture. I mean, look at him. He's like, you know what I mean? Like he is an actor. So I don't know if it's going to work with everyone. And when we get to that individual, I will reference that. Yes. Yeah. All right.

[00:39:08] Well, right now we're getting to Eric, who is 34 and a mental health counselor in Kentucky, Connecticut, originally from Rhode Island. And I immediately enjoy his photo because he's making the evil hand rubbing motion in it. Like, and also he's like, where's Waldo? Yes. Yes. Which stands out a bit in that picture.

[00:39:35] But now he feels like being in community theater will help him because he's constantly with new groups of people and they form bonds very quickly. And of course, his experience as a therapist also means getting people to trust him. Two of his pet peeves, bad grammar. Yay. Excellent. And super machismo guys. So also, yay. But there'll be at least one person who's not too happy about that. Yes. There will be at least two people, maybe even three.

[00:40:08] He's also much more athletic than he appears as he was a competitive swimmer and is trained in kickboxing. I expect the former to help more directly on survivor than the latter. But I guess you never know. Yeah. He's he's an interesting mix as well, because he talked about some of the the trauma that he grew up with and how that's necessarily affected his life. And I don't know if that's going to help him or hurt him. I mean, that's one of those things that could go either way.

[00:40:35] You might I don't know if it would trigger him, but also because he's a clinician, perhaps he's determined all of those things out for himself. But he is he's like a kind of an unknown entity with how he's going to fall, because again, he needs to be with the right people. But I agree with the like the picture here is saying a lot, like if that's how he's going to present himself in the game, I'm very curious to see if he can be underhanded and sneaky and conniving. And if he is, that will be very fun to watch for sure.

[00:41:06] Yes, he should just not do that. He should not. This is what I'm saying. Bring it in the photo. Yeah, there was someone on a season of international traders recently who was a trader and literally got busted when when the host was saying and then the traders will be able to murder people. He got busted doing that. Like he did it without thinking about it. And someone saw him and it was hilarious. Interesting. Interesting.

[00:41:34] So he needs to follow the rule of Boston Rob where it's like you tell it to the camera, not to the right, not to the players. And so hopefully that's going to be the same thing. That's the rule of me, not the rule of Boston. I'm sorry, the rule of you, not the rule of Boston Rob. I apologize. Yeah. So, yes, yes. All right. We can move on to Jenna. She is 30 from Ohio. She's watched Survivor since she was seven, but also thinks that being a wedding photographer has prepared her for the game.

[00:42:05] Look, no shade. Okay. I had to deal with, you know, not terribly much, but with two wedding photographers and, you know, that for my sons, you know, in the span of a six, six month period there. Um, but I just don't see the parallels. Even as she described what they were in her mind. I know, you know, they have to deal with pushy relatives who want to tell them how to do their jobs. Yeah.

[00:42:31] But I'm pretty sure she's never had to decide whether to vote out the bride or the groom. You know, um, I, I admire her confidence because she, she said that in all her contracts, she's sent out for doing weddings over the past five years, she's included a clause that she gets out of the contract. If she gets on Survivor, which I think is hilarious. And here it is. That is hilarious. But I, I don't, I don't feel well about Jenna. I really don't.

[00:42:59] Um, she's, she is too much, I think for, and like, she seems very sweet and very, like a very kind individual, but I, I just, I worry that she's so excited about playing Survivor because obviously she's that excited. She put it into her wedding contracts that she would be able to be out of a contract because of it. So she's very, very excited to, to be playing Survivor.

[00:43:25] And I don't know if she's going to be able to contain that enough to not then frustrate other players because she's going to be just so excited about the game itself and being present. Uh, I also, I just, there's, and again, I agree the wedding photography didn't or shouldn't really prepare her for the game in the way that she's expecting it to. I don't think she's going to make it very far. That's my humble opinion. She seems very sweet and very kind, but sure. She takes great photos. I just don't.

[00:43:55] And, and again, I got to go with what's with the pants and the scarf. I ended everything here that's happening. I'm not trying to be judgmental. She has to be living outside. Like these are things you have to think about. And this is, I don't think that this is going to be like a denim shirt. Is that denim? She's going to be wet. That's awful. That's awful. I don't know that that's denim, but I know the white or beige or whatever color pants are not going to stay that color for very long. And I hope she has a jacket in addition. I really do.

[00:44:23] You know, because otherwise she's going to freeze. Yes. So for the few days that she's there, I'm sorry. Ouch. Yes. I know. Listen, I like, this is what we're doing, right? We're, we're having to decide these, these things. And Jenna, I'm always wrong. She's probably going to win because this is what I've just said, right? The butterfly. There we are. Congratulations, Jenna. I just helped you. All right. Next up is Kristen. She is 49.

[00:44:50] I believe that makes her the oldest member of the cast working in crisis management from Santa Barbara, originally hailing from Idaho. She said she's been applying for the show since the middle of season one. That's amazing. Yeah. Has become the lens through which I view and navigate the world. However, dysfunctional that may be with, with someone who has prepared that much. And for that long, I figure one of two things are going to happen. She's going to win or she's going to overdo things and be voted out.

[00:45:20] Uh, far too soon. Yes. I completely agree with you. Completely. Yeah. I'm a little bit worried. Yeah. She seems awesome, but it could be awesome for all of the wrong reasons. Right. Because this she's unlike Jenna, where I think Jenna is going to present very excited about playing the game. She presents it in a different way. This is like, this is like in her core and she has been like structuring herself around

[00:45:46] this idea of playing this game, but she's also a crisis manager. So like, she knows how to deal with issues. Like she might be so intense and so much that it's not going to go well for her or she's going to just thrive. I mean, it's, it is really going to be one of two extremes with her. It's very, very hard to really put your finger on it. But I, I like her chances so much if it falls into that second half where she can actually

[00:46:15] make it all come together. But gosh, I do feel like it's, it's going to be either a crash and burn or it's, it's, she's just going to like flourish. It's really going to be one or the other. Yeah. And one thing, even though I, like I said, I think she's the oldest player. She does not look at, I know she looks younger than some of the people who are like nine, 10 years older or younger than her. Yeah. So. And her outfit, even though it's jeans, I get the jeans. I wore jeans. This is great. Love this. Love this for her. Great choices.

[00:48:44] Well, let's move on to, speaking of some interesting pants, Lewis. Yes! Lewis, who is 28 and another farmer, originally from Ireland, who now lives in Puerto Rico. I don't know what to make of Lewis. I love Lewis! Well, okay, Lewis is definitely a personality, but don't come on here and claim to be a better, cooler version of Tyson. That is impossible. No, no, don't do that. Don't do that. You cannot do that.

[00:49:14] No. Yeah. You know who he reminds me of? I'm sorry, I'm cutting you off because you know who he reminds me of? And I, was it Greg? Is it from season one? Yes. With the coconut phone? Yeah. That's who we've got going on here. Mm-hmm. Oof. Okay. I, yeah, I, I'm not sure what to make of his claim that if he makes a mistake, it's probably a deliberately executed move that, you know, that sounds like, you know, like, oh yeah, I meant to do that. Right.

[00:49:44] That's Monday morning quarterbacking, right? Yeah. Yeah. I'm not going to presume that in the game when we're evaluating you, but I do like the mention of, you know, how he enjoys the idea of going on a show where it's okay to deceive people. Now, Lewis said in his intro video, they started watching with survivor 44. I'm not sure how many seasons he went back to watch later. He obviously knows Tyson. He follows RHAP on Instagram.

[00:50:11] Uh, he acknowledges that he may not be able to follow the best advice about keeping his head down early, but says in 51, there's no rules. That's where you're wrong. Again, Lewis, because there are rules. Mine. Yeah. They're behind me. They're on my shirt. They're all over the place. So yes, there are never no rules. You got to follow. I expect. Yeah. I, I, I have a suspicion he will be breaking a lot of them.

[00:50:40] So I expect entertainment, but I think he'll be there for a good time. Not a long time. Well, and I agree. Um, because he did indicate too, that he craves chaos. And so he is going to be someone who will be pushing buttons, who will be trying to cause problems. And if he's trying to cause problems, that's not going to bode well for him. And I don't think people are going to take too kindly to it. Like a Kristen that we just talked about, right. Where like, no, no, no, I want calm. And I want to like chaos crisis. Like I'm going to manage it.

[00:51:10] She's not going to want to manage Lewis. Right. So this is, that's going to, that is not going to be a good little combination there. If that's what ends up happening. But I do love the accent and I think he is correct. When people hear the accent, they're going to be a little more intrigued. And I just want to know what great crack means. He kept saying that he's got great crack and I don't know what that means. I should, I should know this because I cover the traders Ireland. Okay. But I can't remember off the top of my head now, but yes, it is not the drug. It is.

[00:51:39] No, but I'm, I'm fascinated by the use of the term because he said it multiple times. So anybody who lives on a school bus and is a farmer and like has that accent, I'm intrigued, but also I'm very concerned. So I started typing into Google. What do the Irish mean when, and it auto filled, they say crack. So clearly this is a frequent question and it means fun, entertainment, gossip, news, or a good time.

[00:52:07] But like, yeah. So if you say he or she is good, good crack, that that person is fun and friendly, you know, stuff like that. So there you go. Interesting. Well, thank you for the educational component that we've just had. The proper use of your with an R or an apostrophe R E and now crack. Now we know. That's right. Yes. And if you say your crack, then, you know, you've got both of those together.

[00:52:38] So, um, which is very different than asking about, Hey, is that your crack? Totally different question. Totally different way of spelling crack. I was wondering if you were going to use the other version. Yeah. Totally different version of your and crack. Right. It depends on which your you put in front of the crack. That changes it entirely. You know. Yes. Yes.

[00:53:10] All right. We can move on to Linnea. She is 25 and an entrepreneur from New Jersey. She says that working in DC and fostering relationships with people in power who have different views than you is essential in the nation's capital and in the survivor. She also talked in her video intro about being physically active. So I think she'll do well in challenges.

[00:53:35] She says she sometimes has a laughing problem where it's uncontrollable in situations and she knows she shouldn't be doing it, which could make for an interesting situation. Like imagine you're at your first tribal council. It's really tense. And she bursts out laughing. You know. Yeah. That would be interesting. Yeah. Now, there are several things I love about Linnea. Yes. One. So one of the words that she used to describe herself. Well, not yet. Was rational.

[00:54:04] She said she grew up in a logical environment because her mom is a scientist. And she notes that this life is all she's certain of. And here it is. One of her pet peeves is people asking her sign. Yes. So now on the downside, she believes she's highly skilled at reading people. Everyone should know by now what I think of the idea that people can have a skill of reading people because they don't.

[00:54:32] This is especially true if you watch my traders podcast. But I think that will be less of a problem on Survivor than on the traders, although it can still be a problem if you are convinced that you're good at it and you act on it like, oh, that person's sitting there. They're looking at me a certain way. They're going to come after me. I better go after them first. No, no. That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Don't do that. Yeah.

[00:54:57] I the thing that I really very much enjoy about her is that she she seems very like she understands herself very much and understands, I think, how she would be necessarily perceived. But she's there's no BS with her. I don't think there's any BS like this. Why the astrology stuff? She's like, no, thank you. I don't want anything to do with that. And I love that she utilizes skills that she's got. You called her an entrepreneur.

[00:55:25] Well, she's in a very particular field and that very particular field requires her to have some probably uncomfortable conversations with individuals and selling certain things to them. And she's able to address those issues and work through them and then actually bring it to her own benefit. Right. By selling things to people. So I think that that's going to prepare her for those conversations that you might feel uncomfortable having in a game like Survivor. She's going to be OK with with that. She's familiar with it.

[00:55:53] She does. This is what I'm I don't know if I can say what she has a particular type of shop. She has an adult shop. So, you know, she's having these. Yeah. These types of conversations with people to sell them things. So I very much like her, but I'm also concerned because she's so she's similar to D in a lot of ways. And and I and I know that that was I mean, we just had D as a winner. We just saw her on 50. And so I don't know if people are watching her potentially win big brother. Yes. Right.

[00:56:23] So I'm concerned that she might end up bringing about like people are going to be reminded of D and then think, oh, Linnea has got to go because we know how much of a threat D was. And if she is all of the things that she appears to be, which is athletic, she has an ability to work with people, to deal with people. Boy, she might just be a very, very big threat right off the rip. So I'm worried about that component for her because I do think overall, like I very much enjoy her.

[00:56:52] And but I also she's the one that I don't think is going to be a big fan of Devin's. I mean, I think she might lean into that. She might be like, oh, here we go, Devin. I'm going to I'm going to act like I like you. I might flirt with you a little bit, but you got to go. So this is what I see happening with her if she ends up with Devin on her tribe. It would be funny if that happened because you have D and Devin's working together in Big Brother.

[00:57:20] And if the person you're saying reminds you of D goes up against Devin, who is trying to act like Devin's. Right. It would just bring everything. All the worlds are colliding at this point. Yes, exactly. Exactly. All right. Moving on to Maggie. Maggie, she is 40. Another farmer, this time from West Virginia, who even describes herself as a redneck. Now, so many has watched. Yes. Maggie has watched since she was 15.

[00:57:48] But still the life experience she gives for what's prepared her for the game is growing up in West Virginia. That's it. What does that mean? That doesn't tell me anything. You could say growing up anywhere. Well, she's a hunter and a fisher. Yeah, but she didn't say that in her answer. It was growing up in West Virginia. Well, okay. I understand. I understand. You know. Plus, hunting and fishing, that's not. If she's watched since she's 15, she knows.

[00:58:16] She should know that's not what Survivor is really about. I know. She believes she'll win because her entire life has prepared her. Again, no details. She did note in her intro video that she has a therapy degree. So that's something that was not mentioned in her print one. But her interview, again, it doesn't give me anything that suggests she'll know how to play Survivor. Yeah.

[00:58:45] The only thing it really gave was the one comment when she said she asked her husband to pray for her. And he said, I'm going to pray for them. I think that scares me just a little bit as to if your own spouse is concerned with how you're going to interact with people that you're playing this game with. Then perhaps there's some issues there. Just saying. I mean, I think that was a very sweet thing for him to say. You know, I'm not. Yes, very sweet.

[00:59:15] I mean, I was told before I went out there, keep Jessica in the box. Like you have to get these bits of advice before you go out there. But I think that if if that's the concern that your spouse has, then I hope she checks herself a little bit and maybe doesn't present herself in a way that's going to be seen as annoying by people who are on a tribe with her. Because she has there's a lot to Maggie. There's there's a lot.

[00:59:42] And I know I've used that term with at least three other people at this point, but she's she's in the a lot not good category where it might end up just being too much where I can't deal with Maggie because there's there's a lot of things happening. And she also she it's like a weird combination because she's a farmer. She's got a therapy degree. She homeschools her kids.

[01:00:06] And so it's I think that makes you almost very like centered in your own world as opposed to being exposed to a lot of the outside world. And so she might not have that that concept of how she's affecting other people with how she's behaving just because she is so ingrained in her like her own little space. So I worry about her a little bit and how she's going to interact with the other tribe members that she's going to find herself.

[01:00:36] For now, I will just say I'm very worried, too. Yes. We can move on to Mike. Mike, he is a 32 year old baseball executive from New York City. He's been watching since he was a kid, says he used to play survivor with friends at the age of eight, has we had weekly survivor viewings in college. Even his proposal involved a Jeff Probst catchphrase. Presumably it wasn't the tribe has spoken. It's time for you to go.

[01:01:05] I like the way Mike talks about how information is king and you need to know what's going on around you. I do not like the fact that he works for the Yankees. He's the moneyball guy. That's who he is. I know. That's crazy. Yeah. He says he's athletic, but doesn't look imposing and is strategic, but can downplay it and is social without being seen as a threat for it.

[01:01:32] It sounds very much like he understands the balancing act that's present in my rules to do the right things without coming off as someone that others feel they'll need to get rid of. Yeah.

[01:02:12] I think he's just going to be one of those people that isn't going to come across as an immediate threat just because he comes across as vanilla. I'll just use that term again. But I think once they start to actually work with him and talk with him, I think they'll realize that he's bringing a lot to the table. He just doesn't present it right on the on the outset necessarily. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Let's move on to Ori, who is a 27 year old personal trainer from New York.

[01:02:41] He certainly seems to have the heart to play as he talked about his college football years while driving home to be with his family every weekend. And I had to laugh at his first pet peeve because he said, I hate idiocy. I have no patience for people who lack common sense. I feel you. Thank you. Yes. He says he'll win because he's book smart, street smart, a former pro athlete and there to win. And he said in his video intro that he's seen every season knows the game backwards and forwards.

[01:03:10] Quote, I am literally made for a survivor. Certainly from a physical standpoint. Yeah, I'd say he looks good. Yeah. I don't know how he'll play. I have good feelings about him. I don't know, though. I do have good feelings in general. I have good feelings, too, as far as the getting definitely to the merge, because he's going to be necessary for the challenge components. I mean, he is a very big individual.

[01:03:38] I mean, he's like six, four, I think. And like he's obviously a former NFL player. So I think that all of that is going to bode well for him. He is a type A personality. So I don't know if he's going to try to take over and try to try to run things, be a bit of a leader, which might work just fine at the beginning. It might not work so well towards the middle of the game. But he seems like I like I feel the same. I feel like he's I feel good about him.

[01:04:06] I just hope he can maintain like not trying to take it over because of he might. I mean, but we saw Jonathan kind of do the same thing. Right. And it kind of worked for Jonathan the second time around. So, well, but I feel good about him as well. Oh, and he also mentioned that he would he wanted to play with with women, which I thought was interesting, too. So, you know, perhaps that'll that'll be a good yin for his yang kind of component.

[01:04:31] I don't know who he would necessarily connect with, but I thought that that was an interesting little side note. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Moving to Pat. She is 33 and someone after your own heart, as she is a federal prosecutor currently in Washington, D.C., originally from Tampa. She sounds like a badass. Excuse my language. But yeah. Yes.

[01:04:58] I can't personally imagine being a federal prosecutor in D.C. I can't think that that is the best job right now, unless you like the kind of shenanigans that have been going on in that particular office lately. But that is true. I'm not saying I agree with all of that, but that is true. Yeah. But one of her pet peeves is when the least informed person is telling everyone else what to do. Thank you.

[01:05:26] It seems like she wouldn't like the situation I just described. Anyway, she did a fairly deep pull by saying she loved Amanda Kimmel. And I would have to presume that as a prosecutor, she will have a better jury argument if she makes it to the end. She was also in the Navy. She has been through boot camp, obviously, which she said in her intro video she enjoyed and is hoping Survivor is like that. That is not something you hear very often. No.

[01:05:55] And this is why I think she's just such a badass because she's she's here for it. She wants the she wants the the difficult things that are going to be brought on with the game of Survivor. I got to talk about the pants and the shirt option. She's going to be cold. I'm just saying. I don't know if she has a jacket, but that'll be fine for her. Right. Because she she wants it to be like boot camp. So maybe she'll be she'll be great out out in the elements. But and she's not a super fan. Can we just throw that out there, too?

[01:06:23] I appreciate the fact that like she has watched Survivor, but she's not a super fan. So maybe she won't necessarily. I listen, I think we've had so many super fans. It's it's a nice little moment when we can have some someone who likes the show, but it's not necessarily a super fan. So she's aware of it. But, you know, and she also did point out that she's underestimated in the courtroom because of who she is and how she appears. And I can appreciate that as well.

[01:06:50] So I think overall, maybe she'll be underestimated by people who are on her tribe. I don't think that she's going to necessarily scare them, but I do think she's going to do well in the challenges, which will certainly bode well for her. I feel good about Pat. I'm excited for Pat. Like her. I mean, you say she's not a super fan, but like I said, she brought up Amanda Kimmel. Well, this is not a recent new era player here, you know? Well, but I would say this.

[01:07:17] I feel very similar where I wouldn't have described myself as a super fan. I really loved the show and I watched all of the seasons, but I'm not, you know, an Ori who's like I could name every winner and every season back forth and forwards and backwards. I could never do that. And I don't think she's that type either. But everyone has like their favorite player or someone that they feel connected with. If you do watch the seasons at least. So maybe that's where that stems from. Right. Right. Okay. Next up is Rob.

[01:07:46] We've never had a Rob before. I'm pretty sure. He is. Such a strange name. Yeah. He is 40 and an airline gate agent in Rhode Island. He's never been in the wilderness, but feels that being a gate agent has prepared him for a survivor. Okay. Uh, because he socialized with people from all over the world every day. And I'm like, yeah, Rob, that's not even close to the same thing.

[01:08:13] You deal with those people at the airport for like minutes, maybe hours. If there's a delay, not days on end. Yeah. And he wants to play like a mix of the loyalty of Joe with the manipulation of Tony. I, I don't know how you can do that. You, you can't manipulate people like Tony and also play like Joe. It just, it won't work. Yeah. Those combinations don't necessarily work together. No.

[01:08:38] Um, he says bad breath is one of his pet peeves and boy, do I have some bad news for him about survivor? Yeah. Get ready. Get ready, buddy. Uh, I love though, that he was like, I'm going to kick my kids' asses in all the games I play against them. I'm not going to let them win. I thought that was really quite, quite fun because that just goes to show he's very competitive and he, he's, he's willing to be competitive. He reminds me of a character of sorts.

[01:09:08] And I'm, I really couldn't put my finger on it. Like someone I've seen in a movie. I do think I, I, but I really, if someone, if someone has an idea, let me know. I do think he's going to be entertaining. And I, I feel there's a little bit of an accent happening there. That's, that's intriguing. Yeah. So, so I, I feel like people will be entertained by Rob and I think he'll connect well with some individuals on his tribe just because he's at a point in this life where he's like, I'm, I've grown, I've matured.

[01:09:38] I think, you know, this is, I'm ready for this now. So I, I feel good about Rob. I, I think if he ends up with the right people, I could see some really great relationships forming for him. Yeah. Uh, also Rob is, uh, to the contrary of, uh, the person we were just discussing before that, Pat, Rob is a reality, a huge reality TV junkie. Yes. Mm-hmm. Yeah. So there is that.

[01:12:32] All right. Well, next up, we have, I believe, our last person here, Sharonda. She is 34, OBGYN from Florida, currently in Kentucky. Now, unfortunately, I did not get much from her Q&A in terms of how she will do on Survivor. Her as a person, yes. Her as a Survivor player, not as much. I don't know quite what to make of it. Seems to have a strong will. She's smart. She's smart.

[01:13:01] I feel like OBGYNs need to have a better bedside manner than many other types of doctors. So it could all come together for her. I just don't know. Yeah, she has a very, like, it's an interesting dynamic that she brought to the interview that she provided to CBS when she was like, she's doing this for herself, which sometimes people seem as like, oh, that's not a great reason to necessarily play.

[01:13:31] Like, oh, I'm here for the adventure. But I think that that could work well for her considering she has had quite an impressive resume. The things that she has accomplished and has been through. So maybe her just focusing on herself for this particular game is going to put her in a really great spot. Because I do think that she'll connect with people. And I think because she's in the medical field and has been really good with having to work with people in very vulnerable times, that that will work well in this game.

[01:13:59] So I think she's going to do well. I feel good about Sharonda, but also, like, she's not going to be, she is definitely not in the a lot category. She's going to be very even keel. And I think she's going to connect with people very well. Yeah, yeah. And she said she is willing to get rid of her number one, which I appreciate that as well, that she isn't going to, she is going to focus on herself. And so she's willing to get rid of her number one, which I think is going to be a good thing as well.

[01:14:28] Willing to get rid of, good. Eager to get rid of, not good, as we've seen before. And that is true. That is true. Did she say eager or did she say willing? No, I'm just saying it depends what she means by willing to get rid of her. Right, for sure. Mm-hmm, yeah. All right, well, there we have it. Now, before we go through our predictions, I do want to mention a few other things.

I'll be on all of those in some way, shape, or form. It has gotten very, very busy all of a sudden. So much for your retirement. Yeah, exactly. It's like when I'm busier during retirement than I was during work. That's crazy.

[01:18:07] You know, that's something. All right. Predictions. You're doing what you love. That's right. That's right. Yes. Just like I was doing what I loved when I worked. I enjoyed the work. I did not enjoy the boss. Let's just say that. Predictions. Predictions. After going through everyone.

[01:18:33] In my own mind, I narrowed it down to about five people I have the I think have the best chance of doing well or I just like them. There are plenty of others I like. These these just stood out to me. They are Jelly, Kilby, Mike, Pat and Linnea. Oh, my God. Yes. That's so crazy because I feel very much the same. I will. I will say I do think that.

[01:19:03] Yes, I. Keep going. I apologize. I interrupted you. No, that's OK. What are you? What are you thinking for that? At least the short list group. Well, the short list group. I'm not and I didn't I didn't write all of like my short list group down, but but yeah, Pat Linnea. Big fan of Jelly. I think Jelly's great as well. I mean, I guess I feel different.

[01:19:30] Like I like Kilby, but he wasn't he wasn't on my my list, but I think he's going to do well. I love Lewis, but I think he's going to be terrible. So like I have kind of a weird mixed list. Like because if you know, but but yeah, I mean, I think that all of that and I'm intrigued with Mike, Mike, the vanilla guy, but also Carter. I'm going back to Carter, my JT, my JT 2.0.

[01:19:59] I love Carter. So there we are. Well, you may have reservations about Kilby, but he is just calling out to me to make him my winner pick because, you know, really? I favor the super fans. I know you do. I know you do. I have a feeling that there'll be a lot of other people picking him as well, because like I said, he is known in the survivor community. It's difficult because there's so much about the other four that I it's like I don't want to slight anyone or miss anyone. I went back and forth. And you know what?

[01:20:28] I just decided to go with the super fan bias. I'll be honest about it. Toby is my winner pick. Okay. Well, so I'm torn. I'm torn between two. I'm torn between Linnea and Carter. Yeah. And like, I mean, if I had not gone with with Kilby, I would have gone with Linnea. She was absolutely right up there. She is. I would think she's my second choice.

[01:20:57] So the only issue I have with Linnea is I'm I keep thinking about the D component where like she is she is screaming D. And I don't know if if you have someone like like if we look at. Kristen, right, who's going to be like, oh, she's going to see that right away. Right. She's going to see that like she's very similar to D. But I love Linnea and I love Carter. But I got it. I got to do this. I just have to go with my gut. And I fell in love with Carter the minute I heard him start speaking.

[01:21:27] I love everything about Carter. So I am going to say Linnea. I'll save you because here's what happens when I pick winner. That's right. They don't win. So Linnea, I wish you the best and I hope you do awesome. But I just I'm going to say Carter because I just feel like he's going to be so nonthreatening that he's just going to maybe he and Linnea will hook up and they'll team up and, you know, it'll be great. Who knows? There we are. So Linnea is our is both of our second choice.

[01:21:56] I think the power of that is going to propel her to the win. Just there we are. So that'll be lovely. Yeah. Yeah. I love that. So now who do we think will go first? That's more difficult. Well, Jenny, Maggie, Tinan and Christian worry me due to apparent lack of physicality.

[01:22:17] Tinan, as you Tinan, as you mentioned, is smaller and so exuberant to the point that I think it may have the negative effect of both not doing well in challenges and people getting annoyed by her. Yes.

[01:23:04] Between the two of them, like if they're on the same tribe, I think Maggie's Maggie's the one to go. If they're on separate tribes and, you know, Christian's tribe ends up losing, I fear for Christian. So I guess it depends on whoever ends up whatever tribe loses. Those are my those are my. Oh, fine. I'll go with Maggie. Force me to pick one.

[01:23:28] Now, when if Christian is on a different tribe and similar to if Tinan is on a different tribe, we'll we'll give each other credit for those if they go. OK, perfect. Thank you.
