[00:01:51] I know you occasionally dabble in the Big Brother

[00:01:54] Have you been keeping an eye on Big Brother 25 this season?

[00:02:02] I started jumping on the Big Brother train late when the Delta Flight Attendant

[00:02:07] The former Delta Flight Attendant, Bailey, was on

[00:02:10] That's when I started watching, then I was hooked

[00:02:13] Like, I guess a lot of people once they start watching

[00:02:16] So yes, I am watching it

[00:02:18] And it's interesting because Christine, our guest today

[00:02:23] Played Survivor where she had two former players come back in

[00:02:28] And which we know she wasn't having it

[00:02:30] She wasn't having two former players come back and steal her thunder

[00:02:34] Yes, famously she referred to coach as a temporary player

[00:02:39] Yes, a temporary player

[00:02:42] Yes, he did, he heard it loud and clear

[00:02:46] So I was so fascinated when of course I saw Sarri

[00:02:51] Coming to Big Brother House because I'm thinking

[00:02:54] Like Christine was thinking

[00:02:56] Wait a minute, not only is this not a Big Brother player

[00:03:00] This is a Survivor player coming in our Big Brother House

[00:03:04] So I was thinking they are not going to be liking that at all

[00:03:08] So I'm really interested to see how this plays out for her

[00:03:56] What he thought about Sarri being in the Big Brother House

[00:03:59] And I was telling him my thoughts about her coming in

[00:04:03] And kind of from another, from Survivor and how they think about that

[00:04:07] And he actually said the same thing

[00:04:10] Kind of the same thing I was saying

[00:04:13] I think he said he gives her

[00:04:16] Hope I get this right

[00:04:18] You know if I don't he's going to correct me

[00:04:21] But he actually referenced, now this I do remember

[00:04:23] He actually referenced when he played with Boston Rob

[00:04:27] Because my thought is these people need to go

[00:04:32] He kept telling everybody

[00:04:37] And they loved him and they gravitated towards them

[00:05:17] Born in Queens, New York has been called one of the greatest

[00:05:20] And toughest pre-merge competitors ever

[00:05:23] Jack Probe's telling her quote

[00:05:25] You're becoming a legitimate force

[00:05:28] End quote

[00:05:29] This English teacher born to a Mexican mother

[00:05:31] And an Irish father who is fluent in Spanish

[00:05:34] Was hooked when she saw the first show

[00:05:37] She would be perfect for the game

[00:05:39] She had lots of experience in the wilderness

[00:05:41] And grew up camping and backpacking

[00:05:43] In remote areas of the world

[00:05:45] She swam, biked, ran and did sprint triathlons

[00:05:49] Her son shot her video

[00:05:51] She knew she had to get casting to notice her

[00:05:54] She would have to win them over

[00:05:56] So what better way than calling out the casting department

[00:05:59] On how they quote sucked at their job

[00:06:02] Since they had cast players who had quit

[00:06:05] She went on to say quote

[00:06:08] If she did her job as poorly as they did their job

[00:06:12] She'd be fired

[00:06:15] She was cast

[00:06:17] The strong-willed outspoken woman

[00:06:19] Who does not like stupid people

[00:06:36] And would be the nail in her coffin

[00:06:38] When she told the two returning players

[00:06:49] She was voted out on day five

[00:06:52] And was sent to redemption island with a chance

[00:06:54] To get back in the game

[00:06:56] She celebrated her birthday there

[00:06:58] And in real time was out there for two weeks

[00:07:01] She said it was really lonely

[00:07:03] Although she ain't well

[00:07:04] Papayas, bananas, coconuts, crabs, snails

[00:07:08] And chestnuts

[00:07:09] To occupy her time

[00:07:11] She decorated with flowers

[00:07:13] Cleaned, journaled with charcoal from the fire

[00:07:16] And in shells wrote on the beach quote

[00:07:19] Redemption island sucks

[00:07:21] She would come up against her best friend

[00:07:24] On redemption island

[00:07:25] Since they were so close

[00:07:27] She said it was quote emotionally tough

[00:07:29] I didn't want to win

[00:07:30] I didn't want to lose end quote

[00:07:32] She knocked out a total of five opponents

[00:07:35] Single-handedly

[00:07:36] But on day 19

[00:07:38] She was lose to the best challenge competitor

[00:07:40] In the history of the game

[00:07:42] But she said quote

[00:07:44] It was not a blowout end quote

[00:07:47] She said her edit was definitely on the tough

[00:07:50] Beotch side, but she's okay with that

[00:07:53] She has no regrets calling out the two returning players

[00:07:56] As temporary but says

[00:07:58] She does regret not taking each player seriously quote

[00:08:02] I should have respected each tribe mate

[00:08:04] As a worthy opponent end quote

[00:08:08] And she had a great time

[00:11:08] And that you have I think you said

[00:18:50] So it turns out we hit turbulence

[00:18:52] Stacey got a little nervous

[00:18:54] And she said can you go get my sister

[00:19:02] The flight attendant was looking for someone

[00:19:05] Who was more confident than this face

[00:19:08] Because Stacey had said go get my sister

[00:19:19] So she's just a person

[00:19:21] She's just awesome

[00:20:53] I was angry

[00:20:57] They chose people who would just

[00:21:00] Quit and want to go home

[00:21:02] So it wasn't really like a thing

[00:21:05] Like oh my god I have to get on survivor

[00:21:07] It wasn't something like that

[00:21:10] I just wanted them to know how pissed I was

[00:21:13] And it was again

[00:21:16] Something that my whole family did together

[00:21:19] So my kids were like mommy

[00:21:22] You could do that you can go on survivor

[00:21:24] Because we were watching it all together

[00:21:26] So we downloaded the application

[00:21:29] And we filled it out as a family

[00:21:32] I would ask them the questions

[00:21:34] And my family would answer for me

[00:21:36] I write it down and then the video

[00:21:38] It was just a kind of like

[00:21:40] Look if I did my job as poorly as you did

[00:21:42] I'd be fired because they hired

[00:21:44] They hired they chose

[00:21:47] People who quit so I did that

[00:21:50] Two weeks later I get a phone call

[00:21:53] Saying so you

[00:21:55] First of all I think they said

[00:21:57] Oh yeah this is survivor and I think

[00:21:59] I might have hung up on them and they had to call back

[00:22:01] Because I thought it was both you know

[00:22:03] It was baloney and then

[00:22:05] They called back and I said

[00:22:07] Yeah so you think I should be fired

[00:22:09] Yeah

[00:22:11] I said who is this

[00:22:13] This is survivor I'm like yeah

[00:22:15] I kind of do and then it just snowballs from there

[00:22:17] And then two weeks after that

[00:22:19] I found myself in California

[00:22:21] Four weeks after that I found myself

[00:22:23] In Samoa

[00:22:25] Weird

[00:22:27] Just for being a

[00:22:29] Well they like that attitude

[00:22:31] They like the people

[00:22:33] That are going to

[00:22:35] Speak up and not just be

[00:22:37] Quiet when they get out there

[00:22:39] Yes

[00:22:41] Speaking to that Rob

[00:22:43] When I was in the casting

[00:22:45] I think it was one of the

[00:22:47] Later days and they said

[00:22:49] I think I was meeting

[00:22:59] And so they came to my room

[00:23:01] And got me

[00:23:03] And I had this cute little

[00:23:05] You know like tunic floral tunic

[00:23:07] And it was adorable whatever

[00:23:13] Do you have anything else

[00:23:15] To wear to you know

[00:23:17] To change into and I said oh god

[00:23:19] What's wrong with this it's clean

[00:23:21] You know and

[00:23:23] So they said well you know what

[00:23:25] I think we already cast the nice mom

[00:23:27] What does that make me

[00:23:29] Yeah

[00:23:31] So I think

[00:23:33] Yeah that was Dawn for I presume

[01:02:59] for him, maybe a little life changing that his mom was on the show

[01:03:03] because he was like a rock star at school.

[01:03:12] Yes. He had had some difficulty just kind of, you know, navigating through school.

[01:03:18] So that, oh my God, I'm going to start crying because I'm a big fat baby.

[01:03:23] But for that, for that season, you know, people were stopping him in the hallway.

[01:03:34] You know, so that was really, really special.

[01:03:38] He was he was the king of the school for that, for that few

[01:03:43] for those few months where he he kind of wasn't prior to that

[01:03:56] it was worth all of the hardships and being on Redemption Island

[01:04:05] I don't usually would want to deal with in real life.
