[00:01:30] It was 10 years ago on a night just like this when we watched Survivor San Juan Delser episode 13 and it sounded like this.

[00:01:42] I've never had a spa day or spa food. Turned out not too bad. Hey, that looks like a piece of bacon.

[00:01:48] Spa food's not so bad.

[00:01:50] Heck no.

[00:01:51] Spa food, not so bad. And neither is this guy, Josh Wiggler.

[00:01:55] Oh my God. That's my bony rib cage. Wow. Just tickling my sides here.

[00:02:02] This might be the Best Keith Nail episode.

[00:02:05] Gosh. I posted today on your favorite social media platform, the Royal U, Blue Sky.

[00:02:13] Yes.

[00:02:14] I skeeted today a picture of Keith Nail at the San Juan Delsur spa with his face.

[00:02:52] Yeah.

[00:02:53] Red butter beans.

[00:02:54] Michelin man out the window.

[00:02:56] Mm-hmm. Yeah.

[00:02:58] Zero stars.

[00:02:59] Yep. First off, let me just say that Josh to you and to Brandon Donlan who filled in in my stead last week.

[00:03:07] Great job by you both.

[00:03:09] I was listening to that podcast getting caught up on what I missed.

[00:03:13] We didn't weigh in on, I guess there's a thing that people think we're doppelgangers, Brandon Donlan and I. Have you heard this?

[00:03:21] No.

[00:03:22] People say it's like, we're like vocal doppelgangers.

[00:03:25] Vocal doppelgangers.

[00:03:26] Did you just sound like one person talking the whole time?

[00:03:28] I don't think so.

[00:03:30] Okay.

[00:03:30] But, you know, I know you both so well.

[00:03:33] So well.

[00:03:33] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:03:34] So it's easier to identify.

[00:03:37] Yeah.

[00:03:37] I've had that with podcasts I've listened to with like it's two guys.

[00:03:40] It's like, who's who?

[00:03:42] Or like two women?

[00:03:43] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:03:44] You know, it's hard to tell.

[00:03:48] Schubert reads.

[00:03:49] What is that?

[00:03:50] I thought that was two Joshes.

[00:03:52] No.

[00:03:53] Just a couple of Joshes joshing around.

[00:03:56] Mm-hmm.

[00:03:56] Okay.

[00:03:57] All right.

[00:03:57] Yeah.

[00:03:58] We are coming in hot because as of last night, we got together on Club Condo.

[00:04:03] Some folks were saying, hey, where's the Club Condo?

[00:04:05] Well, we couldn't post it on YouTube because that's, we were, there was a lot of music.

[00:04:12] On the field.

[00:04:13] Like playing fast and loose with the song parodies in the wand off.

[00:04:19] Yeah.

[00:04:19] The YouTube doesn't love a song parody, I think.

[00:04:22] No.

[00:04:23] I don't think so.

[00:04:24] They, much like the pitchers at that baseball game in Survivor Nicaragua, deliver strikes.

[00:04:32] Mm-hmm.

[00:04:34] That's it.

[00:04:35] Good.

[00:04:36] Yeah.

[00:04:37] So you can check out Club Condo.

[00:04:39] The podcast version is up in our We Know Survivor feed.

[00:04:42] And then also you can watch Club Condo and watch our reaction to the wand off for free.

[00:04:49] You can go to robinswebs.com slash patron.

[00:04:52] The video is up there and we had some great reviews coming in for the wand off.

[00:04:56] Did you have a good time?

[00:04:56] Fun time on the wand off.

[00:04:58] Yes.

[00:04:58] Yeah.

[00:04:59] Even though you were just kind of like body vibing because like mentally and emotionally

[00:05:03] and spiritually you weren't there.

[00:05:04] Yeah.

[00:05:05] The fun part was really before the podcast.

[00:05:08] I got to go through all the wand offs with my kid.

[00:05:12] Mm-hmm.

[00:05:12] That he's also a musician.

[00:05:15] Yeah.

[00:05:16] Prince Eric.

[00:05:17] Mm-hmm.

[00:05:19] Yep.

[00:05:20] Yeah.

[00:05:20] So my son Dominic and I, this, he is just a little bit older than this season.

[00:05:26] Has he thought about recording a wand off?

[00:05:29] So I, I said to him, but it was probably too early.

[00:05:32] And, uh, I said, Dominic, do you want to record a wand off for, uh, this for, for the

[00:05:38] wand off?

[00:05:39] And he had an idea, but it was not gonna, not gonna come together.

[00:05:43] And, uh, um, it was, it was decent enough.

[00:05:47] Yeah.

[00:05:48] Uh, his, his wand off was going to be, and I, and again, it's not a song that I really,

[00:05:54] uh, it's, uh, uh, a song by Bruno Mars and Rosé.

[00:06:02] He was going to parody the song APT.

[00:06:04] I don't know if it's short for apartment or what.

[00:06:09] Uh-huh.

[00:06:10] Do you know this?

[00:06:11] Do you know this song?

[00:06:12] It could be APT, like an acronym for something.

[00:06:16] And, and the song goes, the song goes, yeah.

[00:06:21] Uh, kissy face, kissy face.

[00:06:23] He wanted to say dirty face, dirty face, but he didn't want to do an Eminem.

[00:06:31] Um, he would have, he would have, but it wouldn't take too long.

[00:06:34] Okay.

[00:06:35] All right.

[00:06:35] Uh, we need, we need an, uh, just like we need San Juan del surrogates.

[00:06:38] We need, uh, amazing mazy surrogates.

[00:06:41] So, uh, yeah.

[00:06:42] Get Dominic on the beat here for, uh,

[00:06:44] I had thought of it, uh, earlier enough, uh, putting Dominic on, uh, coming up with a wand off for the season and giving him a project, I think would have been a good idea.

[00:06:53] But, uh.

[00:06:53] I gotta tell you, uh, the pace, the cadence of one wand off per season, doesn't that feel so good?

[00:07:00] Yeah, that was great.

[00:07:01] That was great.

[00:07:02] I can't believe we did this every week.

[00:07:03] Yeah.

[00:07:04] I literally, literally cannot believe that we did it every week.

[00:07:07] Yeah.

[00:07:07] Uh, it's such a production nightmare and I'm not even involved in that.

[00:07:11] Yes.

[00:07:12] Yes.

[00:07:12] Uh, you know, it's, uh,

[00:07:15] It's involved.

[00:07:16] It's involved.

[00:07:16] It's involved.

[00:07:17] There's a lot.

[00:07:17] There's a lot.

[00:07:18] Okay.

[00:07:18] There's a lot.

[00:07:18] All right.

[00:07:19] So San Juan del Sur, episode 13, coming off of the, uh, two hour episode.

[00:07:25] Yes.

[00:07:25] And did you have any thoughts on those, uh, two hours that you missed?

[00:07:30] Well, you know, the, the first hour from what I recall from the real time, uh, the, the first hour is like where, uh, that's, that's the exciting one, uh, where John and Jacqueline are going through it.

[00:07:42] And then the second hour, I feel like is a little sleepier.

[00:07:44] The second hour, I think could be, if like you were going to summarize it in an image, I think would be an image of Alec Christie on the jury with his mouth hanging open.

[00:07:57] Yeah.

[00:07:57] Which happens in this episode.

[00:07:59] Correct.

[00:07:59] Yeah.

[00:08:00] And so, yeah, I feel like that, that one, I didn't, uh, feel like I missed, uh, too much, but I did, uh, was enjoying the sound clips of Reed, uh, calling Baylor a brat.

[00:08:12] Yeah.

[00:08:12] You're a brat.

[00:08:16] My kid.

[00:08:17] That's my kid.

[00:08:19] You can't call her a brat.

[00:08:21] Yeah.

[00:08:21] Uh, I did also enjoy your commentary on, uh, Jeff, uh, of season 29 and then Jeff of season 47 of being the difference between, uh, Jeff, the actor and then Jeff, the theater actor and survive.

[00:08:36] I think he's playing Shakespeare in the park.

[00:08:39] I would do it like this.

[00:08:40] He's playing for the balcony, you know, like he's trying to project to the very bad.

[00:08:46] He's playing back at that auditorium.

[00:08:48] Uh, so like, yeah, I think that it, it makes sense to me in the sense of like, you hear what Probst has to say about survivor, even in like the last like 10 years, I think like it has shifted in this direction of like, we're not, we're making this show for the players.

[00:09:03] You know, we make this show for the people who put their bodies on the line, get out to the island, do the stuff.

[00:09:11] So it would make sense that he would want to really perform for them.

[00:09:15] Yep.

[00:09:15] Um, now let me ask you a question though.

[00:09:17] Is, is this Jeff Probst or is this all of us that I had been doing some research for the, uh, beloved, uh, topical events podcast news AF.

[00:09:29] And there was an article that I saw that it was talking about events are, uh, typically, uh, uh, no, you know what?

[00:09:34] I'm not going to continue it.

[00:09:35] Okay.

[00:09:36] So sorry.

[00:09:37] So sorry.

[00:09:38] Yeah.

[00:09:38] There was, um, a think piece that was said that, Hey, for everybody, it's airport time that people in an airport, you want to, you know, eat a, a, a, a subway sandwich at eight o'clock in the morning.

[00:09:53] Do you want to like, uh, you know, have a, you know, Irish car bomb at 11 AM.

[00:09:59] Yeah.

[00:10:00] Go for it.

[00:10:00] You want to walk around in your pajamas in the middle of the day.

[00:10:03] Go for it.

[00:10:04] Right.

[00:10:04] Yeah.

[00:10:04] Is this only Jeff or is it all of us?

[00:10:08] Uh, well, I think that there's, um, there's something to be said for like, uh, and so like, is this being conveyed as a good thing?

[00:10:16] I guess is my first question.

[00:10:18] I don't know.

[00:10:19] Is it like, yeah, you know what?

[00:10:20] Whatever.

[00:10:21] It's, uh, you know, it's everything.

[00:10:23] It's like, it's airport season.

[00:10:24] Like times are hard.

[00:10:25] Just eat that footlong.

[00:10:26] Yeah.

[00:10:27] That's fine.

[00:10:28] But I think a counterpoint to it is like, Oh God, we're in airport season.

[00:10:33] We're uncivilized barbarians who are unwashed and unwell and are eating footlongs in the morning.

[00:10:39] Uh, so I don't know.

[00:10:40] I don't know if that's good or bad.

[00:10:41] I think you just get away with doing a lot more of whatever you want in 2024.

[00:10:46] And I think you're an exception to this because I think that you are a man, no minute, no second with Rob Sesternino is wasted.

[00:10:53] How about that?

[00:10:54] Like, I feel like, uh, you, uh, you, you ring every single droplet of the day out.

[00:11:02] You do not leave the day dry.

[00:11:05] Uh, that is one of your superpowers, my friend.

[00:11:08] So I imagine you don't have much of an airport persona.

[00:11:12] I would guess you're one of those people that works at the airport.

[00:11:16] Uh, I try to, I try to, but I also then could get sucked into watching, watching TikToks.

[00:11:22] Getting raucous.

[00:11:24] I think we ate a pizza and had a beer or something.

[00:11:26] No, I'm not a big airport drinker.

[00:11:27] I'm certainly not at this stage of my life.

[00:11:29] Yeah.

[00:11:29] Yeah.

[00:11:30] That was pre Reno.

[00:11:31] I couldn't, didn't even make that flight actually.

[00:11:34] And not because I was drinking, but anyway.

[00:11:35] That was bad airport behavior.

[00:11:36] All right.

[00:11:37] Let's talk about, um, a little oopsie that Natalie had.

[00:11:41] Uh, we, now again, we always like to talk about the history.

[00:11:44] It rhymes and oops, a split vote.

[00:11:49] Somebody voted the wrong way on a tribal council.

[00:11:53] Oh no.

[00:11:54] Yeah.

[00:11:55] I did.

[00:11:55] After eating Italian vote.

[00:11:57] Pretty amazing.

[00:11:58] Pretty good.

[00:11:59] Uh, was that Natalie's operation Italy, uh, last week or was this the fulfillment of

[00:12:06] operation Italy?

[00:12:07] I think that you could make the argument for certain, um, that Natalie's, uh,

[00:12:11] operation Italy required, uh, an extended period of time to build the capital to take out John

[00:12:19] Misch.

[00:12:20] Um, and that part of her operation Italy was weathering.

[00:12:25] Operation Italy.

[00:12:26] Like the operation Italy coming into this week was that she, uh, on the split vote, she changes

[00:12:32] her vote from key, from Keith Alec, uh, after eating Italian food.

[00:12:37] I mean, I feel like that's the split, like John and Jacqueline, I don't believe are in on the

[00:12:41] split vote here.

[00:12:42] No, no, no, no, no.

[00:12:43] It's an operation Italy against the people that she's eating the chicken farm with.

[00:12:47] Yes.

[00:12:48] Uh, but it extends into this week.

[00:12:50] Is that a reverse operation Italy?

[00:12:51] Yeah.

[00:12:51] Yeah.

[00:12:51] I think that might be project Italy.

[00:12:54] Uh, Rob, uh, I think that that could be, uh, yeah.

[00:12:57] It's a little bit of a godfather in, uh, where she's at dinner with John and Jacqueline.

[00:13:02] And she's going to like, go to the bathroom.

[00:13:04] There's a behind the toilet.

[00:13:05] There's a gun.

[00:13:08] Operation.

[00:13:09] You lot.

[00:13:10] Did I get it?

[00:13:11] If I'm trying to reverse it, it tell me, it tell me, you that T E LATI.

[00:13:20] Yeah.

[00:13:21] Operation E LATI.

[00:13:22] So, all right.

[00:13:23] I got there, but I've also brain is using the remains.

[00:13:27] You know, in the real time, I remember doing like the know-it-alls that night after this.

[00:13:31] And I was like, so what?

[00:13:32] Who cares?

[00:13:33] Like a big deal.

[00:13:34] Oh, she voted out.

[00:13:35] Like, uh, she kept Keith to the Alec.

[00:13:38] Not nothing burger.

[00:13:40] Yeah.

[00:13:40] I mean, uh, you and you and, uh, I think you and fish were really down on this.

[00:13:46] If I remember the great San Juan del Surrogate's notes from, from last week.

[00:13:51] Um, and that Steven didn't even award a fishy to anyone.

[00:13:56] No fishy.

[00:13:57] Jeez.

[00:13:58] Wow.

[00:13:58] We go, my other times have changed where we give them away willy nilly like candy.

[00:14:03] Now.

[00:14:04] They give these things away for anything.

[00:14:06] Mm-hmm.

[00:14:06] Yeah.

[00:14:07] Let's give away two.

[00:14:08] Rome.

[00:14:09] Sure.

[00:14:09] I like, uh, I like the cut of his jib.

[00:14:11] Give him a fishy.

[00:14:12] Yeah.

[00:14:13] Sure.

[00:14:13] Yeah.

[00:14:13] But Natalie comes back.

[00:14:14] She's like, oh my God.

[00:14:16] Oh, I blew it.

[00:14:17] Oh, I'm so stupid.

[00:14:20] Oh, I'm a fool.

[00:14:22] I'm an idiot.

[00:14:23] Mm-hmm.

[00:14:23] Uh, yeah.

[00:14:24] She really is, uh, she's nyucking it up.

[00:14:27] Mm-hmm.

[00:14:27] Uh, and Baylor's loving it.

[00:14:31] Baylor's like, oh, Natalie.

[00:14:33] She's so good.

[00:14:34] Yeah.

[00:14:35] That's a fun part of this relationship between Baylor and Natalie, where Natalie is like,

[00:14:41] uh, like cool, like older cousin.

[00:14:44] Yes.

[00:14:45] Yeah.

[00:14:46] Like, uh, to Baylor.

[00:14:47] And.

[00:14:48] You want to try this?

[00:14:48] What is that?

[00:14:49] Cigarettes.

[00:14:50] Oh my God.

[00:14:50] Do you see what she does?

[00:14:52] Oh, I don't know.

[00:14:53] She gets away with it.

[00:14:54] No, you should try it.

[00:14:55] It's cool.

[00:14:55] She talks to the grownups.

[00:14:57] Yeah.

[00:14:58] Yeah.

[00:14:58] Shh.

[00:14:59] Baylor.

[00:14:59] This is our secret.

[00:15:00] Don't tell anybody.

[00:15:01] Do you want to ride to school?

[00:15:03] Wait, but you wouldn't have your driver's license.

[00:15:05] Yeah.

[00:15:05] Who cares?

[00:15:06] I've got my permit.

[00:15:07] Get in the car.

[00:15:08] Oh, I don't know.

[00:15:09] Yeah.

[00:15:10] And then Natalie is also like, okay.

[00:15:12] And then she is going to ultimately get her in huge trouble in one week's time.

[00:15:16] Eventually.

[00:15:17] Yeah.

[00:15:17] You know, abuse that trust.

[00:15:19] She's got Keith in the hip pocket also.

[00:15:22] Like Keith, just do what I tell you to do.

[00:15:24] Yeah.

[00:15:25] Yeah.

[00:15:25] Yeah.

[00:15:26] Keith, Keith is thrilled to just go along with it.

[00:15:29] Yeah.

[00:15:29] I don't know if we've talked about this where it's like separately.

[00:15:32] She's sort of like, okay, she's like, she hip pockets.

[00:15:35] She hip pockets.

[00:15:36] Keith.

[00:15:37] Eventually she's going to like a hip pocket.

[00:15:40] Jacqueline after John goes home.

[00:15:43] Yeah.

[00:15:43] Well, this, I mean, like Natalie Anderson is like a famously excellent.

[00:15:48] Um, I think like she used to, I don't know if she still does, but post like tons of workout

[00:15:52] videos on Instagram and stuff before like doing like deadlifts and stuff.

[00:15:56] Sure.

[00:15:56] Uh, it makes sense that she'd be so good at that kind of work.

[00:16:00] She's like deadlifting people.

[00:16:01] Like she's just bringing them.

[00:16:03] Are you saying they're dead weight?

[00:16:04] I mean, no, maybe a little strategically.

[00:16:08] Yes.

[00:16:09] Yeah.

[00:16:09] All right.

[00:16:10] All right.

[00:16:11] Let's go to our reward.

[00:16:12] And this is a, uh, reward, a doomed reward.

[00:16:18] Yeah.

[00:16:19] Now I think we find out in the finale that a kid or Missy here, a kid designed this reward.

[00:16:25] Oh, right.

[00:16:27] I've never had a spot day or too early.

[00:16:31] Yeah.

[00:16:31] I've never had one of those either.

[00:16:33] So, uh, I think it was kind of like a make a wish type thing where like a child designed

[00:16:39] this reward and maybe it didn't get through all of the testing because, uh, Missy's going

[00:16:45] to suffer an injury.

[00:16:45] We'll get to that in a minute, but, um, let's talk about then what the prize is going to be

[00:16:52] for this challenge.

[00:16:53] Uh, here's what you're playing for today.

[00:16:55] You'll then enjoy a nice massage and then you'll eat spa food.

[00:17:00] And you might be wondering what, what is spa food?

[00:17:02] Yeah, I am wondering.

[00:17:03] Yeah.

[00:17:04] What is, what is spa food?

[00:17:06] Seared steak.

[00:17:07] Ooh.

[00:17:08] Cookies browns.

[00:17:10] Wow.

[00:17:12] Does he say any more?

[00:17:14] No, that's it.

[00:17:16] Uh, can we hear what he said about, uh, the sanctuary where good things happened last

[00:17:21] week?

[00:17:22] I just want to measure the two.

[00:17:23] I do.

[00:17:23] You know what?

[00:17:24] That's a good point.

[00:17:24] Uh, that, uh, I don't have that queued up, uh, here.

[00:17:29] I was just playing that off of paramount last night.

[00:17:31] I didn't have the clip, uh, pulled up, but, um, I thought that Brandon made an escape point

[00:17:36] about how the, the rewards, uh, now are not as good.

[00:17:40] And Jeff has to sell them harder.

[00:17:43] Um, are they not as good?

[00:17:46] Yeah.

[00:17:47] I don't know.

[00:17:48] It's just, it's like at the sanctuary, go to the sanctuary.

[00:17:50] You're not going to like, you go, you're not going to a spa.

[00:17:54] And I think that it's something that.

[00:17:55] But I don't know.

[00:17:56] I feel like now, aren't you going to like, it's like the sanctuary is like the anti-exile

[00:18:04] island.

[00:18:05] Like the sanctuary, the ex, exile island is a place where bad things happen.

[00:18:10] Yeah.

[00:18:10] Sanctuary is a place where good things happen.

[00:18:12] And so now it's like a fixture in survivor as a physical thing that you can count on being

[00:18:20] out there on the island.

[00:18:21] It's like happy exile island.

[00:18:24] Uh, so I feel like now it's like all these people who come out of the forties and like

[00:18:28] go to these parties and become friends with each other post, uh, post season.

[00:18:33] They're like, oh man, what did you think of the sanctuary?

[00:18:36] And like, everyone can bond over a shared experience.

[00:18:40] Yep.

[00:18:41] I don't know.

[00:18:41] I'm a friend.

[00:18:41] Uh, reward stink in the new era.

[00:18:44] Let's get real Josh.

[00:18:45] Fine, Erica.

[00:18:46] That's fine.

[00:18:47] Whatever you both think.

[00:18:48] I don't really care.

[00:18:51] The, the scene where they go on the reward, it's such a great character scene for Keith.

[00:18:56] And you think about like so many of the great character moments in survivor history, I do

[00:19:00] think come on the rewards.

[00:19:02] Like think about Keith and second chances driving around the tuck tuck.

[00:19:05] Uh, and you get these survivors, like getting to enjoy themselves, like doing these rewards.

[00:19:10] And I feel like that you don't really get that so much, uh, with like the, in the go to

[00:19:17] the sanctuary sort of like, okay, here, here's some food.

[00:19:20] And then boom, we're right back into the game.

[00:19:23] I feel like the survivors, like enjoying themselves doing non survivor activities, like on reward.

[00:19:29] Like, I feel like that does bring out like, okay, in survivor four, he said they played

[00:19:32] cornhole.

[00:19:34] Yeah.

[00:19:34] But other than that, we really haven't seen the survivors like turn the game off and like

[00:19:39] be doing some different like reward type things where they go someplace different.

[00:19:43] And they're like taking a shower and they're like, uh, out of the survivor game for a little

[00:19:48] bit.

[00:19:49] I think there's so many times where like character moments come out of that.

[00:19:53] Isn't it interesting?

[00:19:54] I feel like you and I are like, uh, we just took opposite positions.

[00:19:57] Like, I feel like in most, uh, like all things being equally book, I don't care.

[00:20:00] What about the scenery?

[00:20:01] I don't, I don't mind.

[00:20:02] Whatever.

[00:20:03] Just keep it going.

[00:20:03] And I'd be like, stop and smell the roses.

[00:20:05] They're at the spa.

[00:20:06] Uh, uh, I think we freaky Friday.

[00:20:09] Did we freaky Friday?

[00:20:10] I just felt like that.

[00:20:11] Um, we teeny Tuesday, we teeny Tuesday.

[00:20:15] You know, I love the game.

[00:20:16] Uh, I love all that game, but I feel like the stuff that when we think back to the stuff

[00:20:21] that has stuck with us and I, and I find this with the podcast too of like, okay, we talk

[00:20:25] about the strategy.

[00:20:26] We talk about the game.

[00:20:26] What are we doing?

[00:20:27] But I feel like the things that I remember from like interviews I've done with people,

[00:20:32] you know, five years, 10 years, uh, it's, it's the, like,

[00:20:36] the like funny moments and like, uh, great stories that we hear about people.

[00:20:42] And a lot of times that comes like out of the context of the game.

[00:20:45] Like, I think you couldn't have one without the other, but I think that like, there are

[00:20:49] things about, uh, these moments that the characters have that are sort of like outside the game

[00:20:55] that I think sometimes really stick with you.

[00:20:57] Yeah, I agree.

[00:20:59] I totally agree.

[00:21:00] I have no notes.

[00:21:01] I agree with all of it.

[00:21:03] Yeah.

[00:21:03] And I just think that the rewards are kind of a lot of fun.

[00:21:06] Kind of like samey same in the new era.

[00:21:08] And I know we've tried to make it harder and try to, you know, uh, no food and, and,

[00:21:13] and, you know, like, uh, you get the Applebee's moments still like there's an, and the auctions

[00:21:17] are really fun now.

[00:21:19] Uh, so like, I think that they do still have good rewards, but I, I mean, I, I mean, I think

[00:21:25] that, uh, I hope it's not controversial to say that like the new era is very samey samey.

[00:21:32] And I think by design, right?

[00:21:33] Like, I think it's like, it's an, it's like, uh, an elaborate, like setup, uh, that they are like

[00:21:39] cycling different sets of people through the basically same, same shaped laid out maze.

[00:21:47] Like they change a few walls.

[00:21:48] There's cheese in that corner this time.

[00:21:50] Uh, but by and large, it's the same one that like many rats have traveled previously.

[00:21:56] Whereas before I think like the setups across survivor seasons were relatively different.

[00:22:02] Um, some people think that's a bug.

[00:22:05] Some people think it's a feature.

[00:22:06] Uh, but I think like the same, wherever you land, the samey samey, I think it's like,

[00:22:10] to some extent, I think like an irrefutable part of where survivor.

[00:22:13] But I feel like the, just to go through the, like San Juan del Sur, just to track like the

[00:22:17] rewards that the people have gone on.

[00:22:19] Um, you know, we've gone on, we had the, uh, survivor taco bar.

[00:22:25] We, they went on a boat.

[00:22:26] Uh, they went to like a ranch and went horseback riding and they got like a bed delivered to

[00:22:32] the camp and ate Italian food in the, in the bed.

[00:22:35] They went to a spa.

[00:22:37] It's just like that.

[00:22:38] All of the rewards were kind of like unique experiences as opposed to for the most part.

[00:22:43] Um, you know, the, the rewards are, uh, sort of like slight variations of, uh, similar

[00:22:48] experiences.

[00:22:50] Schubert, uh, Schubert back again.

[00:22:52] Uh, Schubert says they're obviously using a lot more.

[00:22:54] Oh, and the baseball, they went to the baseball game.

[00:22:55] Also they delivered, uh, that was the other reward.

[00:22:57] Totally different.

[00:22:58] Uh, they're obviously using a lot more cost saving measures.

[00:23:00] I'm just not sure where that money is going.

[00:23:02] Schubert, that money is going to Matlock.

[00:23:05] They, they are siphoning the money out of survivor.

[00:23:08] It's a funnel into Matlock.

[00:23:10] It's like cut that budget.

[00:23:12] Otherwise we can't do this show.

[00:23:13] And so we need that money for, for Kathy Bates.

[00:23:16] Uh, so like, yeah, they're cutting costs so that survivor can continue.

[00:23:20] But I don't know if the rewards need to be like super like expensive.

[00:23:23] Like, I just think that like having, and again, I think it's not so much the money.

[00:23:27] They built the sanctuary set and then they go to the cafeteria and get whatever they

[00:23:33] had that day.

[00:23:34] I, again, I don't think it's necessarily that, oh, they're cutting the budget.

[00:23:37] I think it's because of the, the time of 26 days.

[00:23:41] And a lot of times it's like a one day, like the reward is in like part of the day

[00:23:45] and then to get back and get to tribal council.

[00:23:46] So, uh, I think that it's just the, in the 39 days, I think you have a little bit more

[00:23:50] time to, to let it breathe.

[00:23:52] But I hear that.

[00:23:53] I hear all that.

[00:23:54] Okay.

[00:23:54] Um, hurt Roger that.

[00:23:57] Okay.

[00:23:58] All right.

[00:23:59] Um, Missy has hurt her ankle very badly.

[00:24:02] Uh, but at first she's like, ah, rubs some dirt on it.

[00:24:05] No, no, no, no, no, no.

[00:24:06] We're good.

[00:24:07] We're good.

[00:24:07] We're good.

[00:24:07] Yeah.

[00:24:07] You know, that kind of thing where you're like, uh, uh, you know, uh, it's like when,

[00:24:11] when Tom Sizemore gets shot, saving private Ryan, spoiler alert, he goes, ah, I just

[00:24:16] got the wind knocked out of me.

[00:24:17] I'm fine.

[00:24:18] And like two minutes later, he's just like, it's just dead.

[00:24:21] It's like, yeah, the ankle is fine.

[00:24:22] It's just a little twist.

[00:24:23] Forrest Gump is like something bit me.

[00:24:26] Yeah.

[00:24:26] Something bit me.

[00:24:27] And then it's like, ah, you got shot in the buttock.

[00:24:30] Shot in the buttock.

[00:24:31] Yeah.

[00:24:31] Yeah.

[00:24:32] Yeah.

[00:24:32] So Missy's like, just a flash wound.

[00:24:34] Shot in the dark, shot in the buttock.

[00:24:37] I don't think so.

[00:24:39] So very different thing.

[00:24:40] Yeah.

[00:24:40] Missy has, uh, you know, suffered this injury.

[00:24:43] Um, Missy is going to receive medical attention later on in the episode.

[00:24:47] But I think that this is one of the, like a few times in survivor history, like somebody

[00:24:53] gets like a pretty bad injury and it's just like, like gutting it out.

[00:24:58] We're close enough to the end that it's like, I'm, I'm not going, I'm staying.

[00:25:04] That's my ankle.

[00:25:05] My ankle.

[00:25:06] My game.

[00:25:08] It's my choice.

[00:25:09] Yeah.

[00:25:10] Uh, Missy's going to, what is it like day 33?

[00:25:13] Uh, yeah.

[00:25:14] Where are we at this point?

[00:25:16] Yeah.

[00:25:16] Day 33.

[00:25:17] Yeah.

[00:25:18] Day 33.

[00:25:18] Yeah.

[00:25:18] Yeah.

[00:25:19] I can make it six more days.

[00:25:22] Certainly.

[00:25:23] What am I, what have I been saying all season long?

[00:25:28] Missy's a badass.

[00:25:29] Mm-hmm.

[00:25:30] Missy's basically a badass.

[00:25:33] Yeah.

[00:25:33] Missy for second chances.

[00:25:36] I'm not giving up.

[00:25:38] All right.

[00:25:38] No, I, I basically completely given up.

[00:25:41] All right.

[00:25:42] Well, Missy and John and Keith win the reward, uh, even with Missy's, uh, bum ankle.

[00:25:51] Um, but yeah, bum, uh, John, you know, it's really Natalie started this.

[00:26:00] She took Julie's spot going to exile Island.

[00:26:02] And there's been this, uh, really, you know, Jeff talks so much about the community in this,

[00:26:06] uh, survivor 47.

[00:26:07] And it's really baked into this season of people who are giving up their spots on rewards for other

[00:26:14] people to curry favor.

[00:26:15] Yes.

[00:26:16] And here's a great moment here where John is going to, uh, relinquish his spot.

[00:26:24] Listen to this.

[00:26:25] A spa day for her is going to completely rejuvenate her.

[00:26:28] She's going to feel as young as she looks.

[00:26:33] John, you're annoying right now.

[00:26:35] Okay.

[00:26:35] Uh, first of all, this was like, uh, John Mish, uh, little, little, uh, brown nosing, uh, Missy.

[00:26:42] A little bit.

[00:26:43] And where did that get you?

[00:26:44] To the point where, yeah, even, even Jack was like, oh my God, it's so annoying.

[00:26:50] Yeah.

[00:26:51] Then doesn't Jeff say something like, uh, does he say something?

[00:26:55] Do you think you deserve it?

[00:26:56] Is what he says immediately after Jack and says, oh God, he's so annoying.

[00:27:00] And I, it took me a minute to realize what Jeff was saying was like, do you think you

[00:27:03] deserve to go on the spa reward?

[00:27:06] Yeah.

[00:27:06] I think Jeff was trying to like provoke the, yeah.

[00:27:09] I thought at first, I thought at first he was like, you think you deserve it?

[00:27:12] Like John is right in annoying you.

[00:27:15] Yeah.

[00:27:15] And John's going to go on the reward.

[00:27:17] Jacqueline, uh, is that, is that what's going on here?

[00:27:20] Yeah.

[00:27:21] Did I say I was going to go?

[00:27:22] Oh, oh, well, what a guy.

[00:27:24] He's going to give up his spot to Jacqueline.

[00:27:27] Wow.

[00:27:27] Did I say I was going to go?

[00:27:32] I'm giving this to Baylor.

[00:27:34] Yeah.

[00:27:35] Oh my God.

[00:27:36] Wait a minute.

[00:27:37] John, you're giving up your part of the reward.

[00:27:40] I'm not into manicures and massages and things like that.

[00:27:45] Yeah.

[00:27:45] A lot of toxic masculinity around the spa in this episode.

[00:27:49] Yeah.

[00:27:49] I think so.

[00:27:50] I think so.

[00:27:50] I think that, uh, we need to like break the barriers.

[00:27:54] De-stigmatize the spa.

[00:27:57] I agree.

[00:27:58] Go to the spa with your bros.

[00:28:00] Those are my bros at my spa.

[00:28:05] Uh, relax guy.

[00:28:07] Yeah.

[00:28:08] Like, uh, uh, like, is it gay to go to a spa?

[00:28:13] Like, what are we talking about here?

[00:28:16] You know, it's ridiculous.

[00:28:19] Yeah.

[00:28:20] I mean, for Keith to eat a wrap at the spa, he's like, well, hell, I didn't know.

[00:28:26] I might lose my job for this.

[00:28:27] Like for us.

[00:28:28] If the guys in the firehouse saw me here.

[00:28:31] Oh boy.

[00:28:32] Forget about it.

[00:28:34] Um, but yeah, when he's like, I'm giving up my spot.

[00:28:37] Like, uh, I can't believe Jacqueline's head didn't explode.

[00:28:40] I can't believe there wasn't like a major second fight for sure.

[00:28:43] Uh, yeah.

[00:28:45] Cause like they spend the whole like next day together just alone.

[00:28:48] Then Natalie goes to exile Island.

[00:28:50] She volunteers.

[00:28:51] He's like, I'm, I'm giving Jacqueline a spa day.

[00:28:54] Just us.

[00:28:56] Did we see any of that?

[00:28:57] Not really.

[00:28:58] Not really.

[00:28:58] I think it was, it was fine.

[00:29:00] Again, uh, this is coming on the heels of the last, uh, last week's episode where

[00:29:05] they're really, uh, you know, a little, little Rocky with John and Jacqueline.

[00:29:08] Well, that's like a crazy thing then that he like didn't give it to Jacqueline to like

[00:29:14] really.

[00:29:15] They needed alone time.

[00:29:16] They needed to talk.

[00:29:18] What did they talk about?

[00:29:20] Uncut clear.

[00:29:22] This episode of Rob is a podcast is sponsored by Amazfit makers of the T-Rex three smartwatch.

[00:29:29] Now any survivor player worth their salt is looking to up their game.

[00:29:34] And that is exactly what I have done with the T-Rex three.

[00:29:38] You don't get to be a knowingest know-it-all without a smartwatch.

[00:29:43] And I've had some other ones.

[00:29:45] And let me say what I love the most about the T-Rex three is that it has a 27 day battery

[00:29:54] day, not hour.

[00:29:56] I'm not supposed to say this, but some of these other watches, you're lucky if you get 27

[00:29:59] hours, 27 days, that's longer than a season of survivor.

[00:30:05] And it tracks all these different activities, whether I'm walking, it picks it up automatically.

[00:30:11] There are things that it can track that I would never do like skydiving or snorkeling.

[00:30:17] It's amazing.

[00:30:18] All the things that it can track.

[00:30:19] Plus it has an AI assistant that also you wear right on your wrist.

[00:30:25] And what I also love is that it looks great too.

[00:30:27] It looks like a real watch and not like I've got this black square that I'm just wearing

[00:30:32] on my wrist where I look like a child.

[00:30:34] I actually look like an adult wearing a watch.

[00:30:36] So check out the T-Rex three by Amazfit at major retailers like Best Buy, Target, Walmart,

[00:30:52] That's 15% off when you go to us.amazfit.com slash Rob.

[00:31:01] Let's go to the spa reward.

[00:31:02] Okay.

[00:31:03] And so.

[00:31:04] Yeah.

[00:31:04] You and I, we are secure enough in our masculinity to go to the spa.

[00:31:08] We'd go to the spa together.

[00:31:09] I bet I certainly would not mind going on the spa reward in my personal life that I

[00:31:16] have been to exactly one spa and it was because of survivor.

[00:31:22] Yeah.

[00:31:23] I went to, let me go back to story time.

[00:31:26] So picture it.

[00:31:29] It was 20 1985 picture.

[00:31:34] It Rob Argentina 2003.

[00:31:38] Oh yeah.

[00:31:39] Me, Tina Wesson and Rudy, uh, and Richard Hatch are hanging out in a cottage in the Southern

[00:31:48] tip of Argentina.

[00:31:50] And, um, Richard Hatch had demands to be put into, uh, this nice resort and he goes and

[00:31:59] we never see him again.

[00:32:00] And he goes there and he lives there.

[00:32:02] And then, uh, to, as a treat for us, for us piss ants who were then, you know, roughing

[00:32:10] it in Patagonia, uh, with just the jackets on our back in the cottage, they took us to

[00:32:17] go to the, we had a spa day and we went to the, we went to the spa and the one, the one

[00:32:23] and only time I had a massage in my life was at the resort that Richard Hatch met his future

[00:32:31] husband, uh, at the spa.

[00:32:35] Yeah.

[00:32:35] Yeah.

[00:32:35] I didn't love it.

[00:32:36] It was fine.

[00:32:36] You didn't love it.

[00:32:37] You didn't love it.

[00:32:38] And so like, do you think, don't you think maybe, uh, you're like a really different person

[00:32:42] now than you were when you were, you were but a boy.

[00:32:44] I was back during the all-stars.

[00:32:46] You were hardly a man.

[00:32:49] We, I think we did have dinner there.

[00:32:51] I think the dinner was good.

[00:32:53] Yeah.

[00:32:53] Uh, I guess we, um, I probably did have steak.

[00:32:56] No, I'm just saying, I think like you could get a massage now.

[00:32:59] And I think like Rob today actually might get into them.

[00:33:03] I think you could go, I think you could go deep into massage.

[00:33:06] You think so?

[00:33:06] Yeah.

[00:33:07] I don't know.

[00:33:07] Uh, maybe if I had like some kind of like sports injury.

[00:33:11] Uh, yeah.

[00:33:12] PT is fun.

[00:33:12] I mean, you don't want to go cause it means you're hurt, but you know, PT is not bad.

[00:33:16] Yeah.

[00:33:17] So that's the one time I went to a spa, but all right.

[00:33:21] Keith Nail is talking about, uh, he didn't know about the spa.

[00:33:25] What is it?

[00:33:25] I don't know what it is.

[00:33:27] I see some goobers on the end.

[00:33:29] Okay.

[00:33:31] He sees, he picks up the plate of food.

[00:33:32] He sees some goobers on the end.

[00:33:34] On the end.

[00:33:35] Uh, I see some goobers on the end.

[00:33:40] Yeah.

[00:33:40] Now did they serve chocolate covered peanuts?

[00:33:43] It seems like that's probably what that was.

[00:33:46] Cause I think that they're like gesturing at like a, like a mixed nut plate.

[00:33:50] Uh oh.

[00:33:51] The trail mix got people in trouble earlier this season.

[00:33:53] Well, you know, but this time Missy's going to eat some trail mix and not quit the game.

[00:34:01] So trail mix redemption.

[00:34:02] All right.

[00:34:03] So try the goobers.

[00:34:05] Oh, nuts.

[00:34:06] Oh yeah.

[00:34:07] Wow.

[00:34:08] Slow down now, baby.

[00:34:09] Don't fill up on that rabbit food.

[00:34:10] Don't be like Wes.

[00:34:11] He's going to die when he sees that you're at the spa.

[00:34:14] Yeah, it's a girl thing, but as long as there's food here, it's a guy thing.

[00:34:19] Yep.

[00:34:20] As long as there's food here, it's a guy thing.

[00:34:24] Yeah.

[00:34:24] If the food wasn't here and also if Keith was so concerned, why didn't he give up his reward?

[00:34:33] Well, he wouldn't need that.

[00:34:35] Jeff made a comment about that.

[00:34:37] Keith really needed a bath after 33 days in the game.

[00:34:40] And Keith himself talked about how he needed to get the funk off.

[00:34:44] Yeah.

[00:34:44] So he could clunify himself.

[00:34:46] He came out.

[00:34:47] I'm going to come out like George Clooney.

[00:34:49] Hey, here comes George Clooney.

[00:34:51] Yeah.

[00:34:52] Yeah.

[00:34:53] Keith Nail would have been a better Batman than George Clooney for sure.

[00:34:57] Yeah.

[00:34:58] Close.

[00:34:59] And look, by the end of this, they made a believer out of Keith with the spa.

[00:35:04] I've never had a spa day or spa food.

[00:35:06] Turned out not too bad.

[00:35:08] Hey, that looks like a piece of bacon.

[00:35:10] Spa food's not so bad.

[00:35:11] Heck no.

[00:35:13] That looks like a piece of bacon.

[00:35:16] And Baylor and Missy are speaking at the same time the same way they do the, and we'll just show up.

[00:35:24] Yeah.

[00:35:25] Yeah.

[00:35:26] When they speak in unison.

[00:35:28] And we'll just show up.

[00:35:33] Spa food's not that bad.

[00:35:35] Not that bad.

[00:35:37] Yeah.

[00:35:38] Yeah.

[00:35:39] It's fine, right?

[00:35:40] They're little raps.

[00:35:41] Okay.

[00:35:41] Whatever.

[00:35:42] You know, it's.

[00:35:42] Yeah.

[00:35:43] The shot of Keith Nail getting the massage through the thing.

[00:35:46] It's just like the, like iconic comedy.

[00:35:49] It's got to be on the list.

[00:35:50] Like if you're doing like the hundred best shots on Survivor, like that makes the list, right?

[00:35:56] Wow.

[00:35:57] Don't you think?

[00:35:58] Yeah.

[00:35:58] That would be a great like Instagram post.

[00:36:01] Do we have a social media department?

[00:36:04] Could someone get on that please?

[00:36:05] It just would take a long time to go through it all.

[00:36:09] Yeah.

[00:36:10] That's not your job.

[00:36:12] Yeah.

[00:36:13] Is the juice worth the squeeze to have somebody go through?

[00:36:18] Yeah.

[00:36:19] I think so.

[00:36:20] You know what?

[00:36:20] It should be here.

[00:36:21] The.

[00:36:22] Okay.

[00:36:23] Let's get like a post on blue sky.

[00:36:26] Yep.

[00:36:27] Okay.

[00:36:27] Right now.

[00:36:28] Well, I mean, here.

[00:36:29] How about this?

[00:36:30] I'll do it.

[00:36:30] I'll do it.

[00:36:32] Okay.

[00:36:32] Okay.

[00:36:33] Is it going to post this time?

[00:36:34] I will see.

[00:36:35] Okay.

[00:36:35] It's been unlucky every time you skied on Stan Wandel.

[00:36:38] Let me see.

[00:36:38] Can I, can I blue sky live on the podcast?

[00:36:41] Let me see.

[00:36:42] First of all, let me find, find Josh Wiggler.

[00:36:45] Yeah.

[00:36:46] That's me.

[00:36:47] Do you have just one photo that you've used for all of social media?

[00:36:52] Yeah.

[00:36:53] For a brief moment on X, I changed my profile to a glasses list, Josh Wiggler, but I think

[00:37:00] it scares people when they don't see me with glasses.

[00:37:03] So I've changed it.

[00:37:05] All right.

[00:37:05] So let's see.

[00:37:06] That's what I posted.

[00:37:07] Okay.

[00:37:08] All right.

[00:37:08] So tell me if I'm doing this right.

[00:37:09] So I'm going to take this.

[00:37:10] I'm going to, I'm going to quote the post.

[00:37:12] Okay.

[00:37:12] Yes.

[00:37:13] Yep.

[00:37:13] You're already in.

[00:37:14] Okay.

[00:37:15] Let's see what he's going to write.

[00:37:16] Okay.

[00:37:17] Do you have writer's block or you have a good sense of what I think?

[00:37:19] Okay.

[00:37:20] Sorry.

[00:37:20] I don't mean to put pressure on.

[00:37:21] Is my least favorite thing to do is like anyone watching me write and I'm like watching

[00:37:26] you type.

[00:37:27] So I just hope that I'm not.

[00:37:28] I don't know if iconic is the right word.

[00:37:30] Okay.

[00:37:30] Yeah.

[00:37:31] You already did.

[00:37:32] The most hilarious survivor.

[00:37:37] Do a hashtag.

[00:37:38] Hashtag survivor.

[00:37:39] Yeah.

[00:37:40] Camera shot.

[00:37:41] Camera shot.

[00:37:42] Of all time.

[00:37:42] Of all time.

[00:37:43] Wow.

[00:37:44] Can you top it?

[00:37:45] Can you top it?

[00:37:46] Yes.

[00:37:47] Here he goes.

[00:37:48] Can you, can you top it?

[00:37:49] No, no, don't, don't post yet.

[00:37:51] Can you top it?

[00:37:52] Let's see it.

[00:37:54] Yeah.

[00:37:54] You got to like give them like an extra call to action.

[00:37:58] Let's see.

[00:37:59] Oh yeah.

[00:38:00] Let's see it.

[00:38:01] Or let's skeet it.

[00:38:04] Oh, oh, that's a, that's a, I can't add.

[00:38:07] I can't yes or no that flavor.

[00:38:09] That flavor is for you.

[00:38:10] You can make that call or not.

[00:38:13] Yeah.

[00:38:13] There you go.

[00:38:14] Let's try it.

[00:38:15] Let's try it.

[00:38:15] Let's try it.

[00:38:16] Okay.

[00:38:17] Let's see it.

[00:38:17] Let's see it.

[00:38:18] No, I don't like it with skeet.

[00:38:19] I don't like it.

[00:38:20] Let's see it.

[00:38:21] Let's see it.

[00:38:22] And then.

[00:38:23] Okay.

[00:38:24] Yeah.

[00:38:24] Let's skeet it.

[00:38:25] There feels boomer.

[00:38:26] Hit that.

[00:38:27] Post it.

[00:38:28] Okay.

[00:38:29] Drop it.

[00:38:30] All right.

[00:38:31] Blue sky's not that bad.

[00:38:33] Okay.

[00:38:35] I don't know.

[00:38:36] Blue sky's for girls.

[00:38:37] I thought it was for girls.

[00:38:39] If only the guys back on Twitter could see me.

[00:38:42] Oh, I mean, if there's, if there's retweets, then, and then it's a guy thing.

[00:38:48] And there's alt text on there.

[00:38:49] It's a guy thing now.

[00:38:52] All right.

[00:38:55] So back at camp, John and Jacqueline, they're doing their thing.

[00:39:01] Meanwhile, Natalie's on exile.

[00:39:04] Has Natalie has talked about this in her.

[00:39:06] I remember this from her interview with me after the season.

[00:39:09] She talked about how exile island was very hard on her.

[00:39:12] If I, she talked about, I think a single day.

[00:39:15] I think it was really the first time, like since Natalie or that.

[00:39:19] Nadia got voted out that she really had time to kind of like process that.

[00:39:23] She is like the first time she'd been alone.

[00:39:25] Yeah.

[00:39:26] That, that makes sense to me.

[00:39:27] I mean, like the only other times you're alone are like, uh, like confessionals and

[00:39:31] you're not really alone or like the potty.

[00:39:33] And like, that doesn't really count.

[00:39:35] You're focused on another thing.

[00:39:36] Yeah.

[00:39:37] So was it like, it was like, uh, emotionally difficult.

[00:39:41] Yeah.

[00:39:41] I think it was just very, very, uh, but you know, it's sort of like, you know, you're

[00:39:45] in game mode, game mode, game mode.

[00:39:46] It's like, you kind of have time to like process, uh,

[00:39:49] you know, because it's tough.

[00:39:51] She tried so hard to put this shell up, uh, only to find out here on exile

[00:39:55] island that she is after all a person.

[00:39:57] Wow.

[00:39:58] Yeah.

[00:39:59] All right.

[00:40:00] We go to the immunity challenge and we spend a lot of time working on Missy's

[00:40:04] ankle here.

[00:40:05] Uh, we bring in medical.

[00:40:06] We're going to investigate what's going on here.

[00:40:08] Can Missy stay in the game?

[00:40:10] Yeah.

[00:40:10] Do you have the, do you have the sound clip?

[00:40:12] I didn't pull this.

[00:40:13] No.

[00:40:13] Once upon a time, this was a great sound clip.

[00:40:16] Which one?

[00:40:16] Which one was it?

[00:40:17] Uh, where she's, uh, she's got the guy, uh, uh, touching her ankle and she goes right

[00:40:24] there, right there.

[00:40:28] Yeah.

[00:40:28] Yep.

[00:40:28] Right there.

[00:40:29] Yeah.

[00:40:30] Um, I'm trying to believe I have it in the old, on the old soundboard.

[00:40:32] I don't think I have that.

[00:40:34] Yeah.

[00:40:34] Yeah.

[00:40:36] So yeah, they're, they're, you know, checking her out and, uh, she's not going to leave.

[00:40:41] No, she's not.

[00:40:43] I'm not going to quit.

[00:40:43] She says I won't quit.

[00:40:46] Yep.

[00:40:46] And so she's not going to play in the challenge and the challenge is going to come down to,

[00:40:52] uh, appropriately Natalie versus John.

[00:40:56] Do you think she could have done this challenge?

[00:40:59] Who Missy?

[00:41:00] Yeah.

[00:41:01] No, there's no way.

[00:41:03] No, I don't think so.

[00:41:04] Did it require both feet?

[00:41:07] I think, well, I think it was just like standing there and to balance, but I just don't think

[00:41:11] that she could have like on there, like in her walking, uh, boot.

[00:41:16] Well, but when she's not walking around, the whole point is you don't walk around.

[00:41:19] You know, like what was the point?

[00:41:21] Like Missy wasn't going to win this challenge if she was healthy.

[00:41:23] If you want to try, like, I feel like she could have still given it a shot.

[00:41:27] I think they were probably a little bit more worried about what does the dismount look

[00:41:30] like?

[00:41:30] Uh, the dismount is where you think they get.

[00:41:32] Yeah.

[00:41:33] Yeah.

[00:41:33] She could have stood there, but then when she falls, I don't know how it looks.

[00:41:37] Imagine she tried to do the challenge that Baylor won with her.

[00:41:40] Oh my God.

[00:41:41] Yeah.

[00:41:42] No.

[00:41:43] Yeah.

[00:41:44] Para dismount plus.

[00:41:46] Mm hmm.

[00:41:46] All right.

[00:41:47] So, uh, comes down to Natalie versus John.

[00:41:50] Natalie wins.

[00:41:51] John is like, whatever.

[00:41:53] Who cares?

[00:41:53] Keith Nail's getting voted out.

[00:41:55] Natalie runs and give Jeff a big old hug.

[00:41:58] Mm hmm.

[00:41:59] Does Jeff like the hugs?

[00:42:00] Do you think?

[00:42:01] Uh, I don't think he likes them under, uh, any circumstances that, you know, that's, that's

[00:42:08] my thinking.

[00:42:09] Like, uh, I feel the story of when he and I took a picture together at tribal council

[00:42:13] once and I had like a sweaty armpit and I put my like arm around and he said he could

[00:42:17] feel it.

[00:42:18] And he was like, Oh, your sweaty armpit.

[00:42:21] Uh, and I don't think that he liked me all that much after that.

[00:42:23] Mm hmm.

[00:42:25] I think that's where your sweaty armpit was the, you know, I think that was maybe the

[00:42:30] beginning of the end.

[00:42:31] Yeah.

[00:42:31] All right.

[00:42:32] So Josh, let's talk through about what goes on back at camp.

[00:42:35] Okay.

[00:42:36] Uh, Natalie's got a plan.

[00:42:39] John, he has the idol here at the final six.

[00:42:42] And so Natalie has an idea of, uh, this is like, you know, pretty, uh, sophisticated strategy

[00:42:49] here of, uh, potentially splitting the votes two, two, two on John in case he places idol.

[00:42:56] Yes.

[00:42:57] Um, uh, Natalie is, um, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh,

[00:43:02] uh, operation Italy was a three headed plan, right?

[00:43:06] Like it is, uh, it required three individuals to like make active decisions and like, uh,

[00:43:15] like actively participate, uh, like covert shenanigans, smoke screens to the end operation.

[00:43:23] Natalie, um, really is just Natalie.

[00:43:27] Yeah.

[00:43:27] Uh, this whole thing is really just her.

[00:43:30] Yeah.

[00:43:30] Uh, so what's more impressive, uh, you know, baby Andy, Sam and Genevieve pulling this together

[00:43:37] or Natalie pulling this together with Missy.

[00:43:40] Yeah.

[00:43:41] The dragon had three heads in operation Italy.

[00:43:43] Uh, this is a little bit more like they're trying to like, they're playing like online

[00:43:46] poker and they're trying to scam John and like Natalie has like four laptops open.

[00:43:51] Yeah.

[00:43:52] Uh, uh, but they didn't have laptops in game of Thrones.

[00:43:56] So I got lost in the analogy.

[00:43:58] Mm hmm.

[00:43:59] Yeah.

[00:44:00] She's like John snow in the battle.

[00:44:02] The bastards.

[00:44:03] She's like, like, uh, it's her against a bunch of, uh, Ramsey Bolton nincompoops.

[00:44:08] Uh, she has to figure out how to take on.

[00:44:11] Okay.

[00:44:12] So, yeah.

[00:44:14] I've seen it.

[00:44:15] I've seen it.

[00:44:16] Have you seen this?

[00:44:17] Yeah.

[00:44:19] Natalie, uh, she's, uh, she's given Keith the plan.

[00:44:23] All right, Keith, this is what you're doing.

[00:44:24] All right.

[00:44:24] Stick to it.

[00:44:25] Stick to it.

[00:44:26] Um, we see that, uh, Jacqueline is a little paranoid about what's going on, but John is

[00:44:30] pretty confident.

[00:44:32] Yeah.

[00:44:32] He's like, ah, it's fine.

[00:44:33] Mm hmm.

[00:44:34] Don't worry about it.

[00:44:35] Everything's all right.

[00:44:35] But here's the real rub and we're not talking about the massage.

[00:44:39] Okay.

[00:44:40] Um, Baylor and Missy.

[00:44:43] Okay.

[00:44:43] Uh, Baylor and Natalie tell Missy the plan.

[00:44:46] Missy's like, I'm not voting out my friend.

[00:44:50] My guy.

[00:44:51] I gave my word.

[00:44:55] And my word is my bond and it's stronger than my Oak.

[00:45:02] Uh, yeah, she won't do it.

[00:45:05] Yeah.

[00:45:05] She's got no problem voting for Jacqueline.

[00:45:08] This is like the, like, I will not let you, uh, I will not stab Julius Caesar in the back.

[00:45:16] But like, if you're all going to do it, like, you know, but I won't do that.

[00:45:21] I won't tell him either.

[00:45:24] And I'll stab his wife.

[00:45:27] So, uh, Baylor is doing some like, uh, you know, armchair psychology, uh, on mom here.

[00:45:35] She is like, see, this is what she does.

[00:45:38] She's always putting men first.

[00:45:44] Work this off the tape.

[00:45:46] You know, like, I think like, let's get, let's do that offline.

[00:45:50] Right.

[00:45:50] I think like, let's work this one out off, off the, off the, uh, the hit, uh, TV show

[00:45:56] that you're on right now.

[00:45:58] Can we talk this through for Baylor and Missy?

[00:46:00] Was this a good idea?

[00:46:01] Like, we love this.

[00:46:02] We were happy.

[00:46:03] We were rooting for Natalie.

[00:46:04] We want Natalie, uh, to, to win.

[00:46:06] Obviously this is good for Keith.

[00:46:08] Uh, so we like that.

[00:46:09] Uh, it's good for Natalie.

[00:46:11] Was this good for Baylor and Missy?

[00:46:13] Yes.

[00:46:13] That's a great question.

[00:46:14] Um, well, I think that Missy and Baylor, as we've like, sort of like talked it through,

[00:46:20] what's the circumstance where either of them win?

[00:46:23] They, I guess they can't win.

[00:46:25] I don't know that they can.

[00:46:26] I'm trying to think of what they would need to do.

[00:46:28] Uh, did Missy and Baylor, I'm trying to think of if there's anybody like, I guess best case

[00:46:34] scenario for them would be to maybe both get to the final three, but I guess one of them

[00:46:38] needs to vote for the other one.

[00:46:40] Yeah.

[00:46:40] One of them has to go.

[00:46:41] And I think Missy has the better shot of winning would be my guess.

[00:46:44] Yeah.

[00:46:44] Uh, but I'm not even a hundred percent sure on that.

[00:46:46] Yeah.

[00:46:47] So are Missy and Baylor both, uh, final three goats?

[00:46:52] Yeah, maybe.

[00:46:53] Um, I think that like, I mean, I think that Missy has, uh, like, uh, has been very good

[00:46:58] at, um, like bobbing and weaving and going with this week's survivor episode.

[00:47:05] That's right.

[00:47:05] And like rolling with the punches a little bit here.

[00:47:07] Uh, and rolling her ankle and rolling her ankle as well.

[00:47:10] Uh, so I, I think that she's definitely like the better stabler player, uh, than, than

[00:47:19] Baylor at this point.

[00:47:20] What are we getting so far, by the way, on the skis?

[00:47:22] Um, I see looking, yeah, looking in your little tiny mini chamber there that I can see.

[00:47:26] Okay.

[00:47:27] It's like a little, it's like a little portal that I can kind of look through right now.

[00:47:30] Yeah.

[00:47:30] Bring it up.

[00:47:30] I want to see.

[00:47:31] Do we got anything good?

[00:47:31] Uh, so, uh, Antonio Mazzaro responded.

[00:47:38] Is that, uh, Rupert's shelter from all stars that got over flooded, but otherwise just looks

[00:47:44] like a grainy photo of shit.

[00:47:46] Does he put this caption here?

[00:47:47] This is either where they found Saddam Hussein hiding or the death pit shelter that Rupert dug.

[00:47:51] No, that was AI.

[00:47:53] AI, uh, put that together.

[00:47:55] AI Mazzaro.

[00:47:57] Uh, that's, uh, two Z's and one R.

[00:47:59] I think no other, no other responses.

[00:48:01] No other gets yet, but we love Antonio chiming in.

[00:48:04] Thank you, Antonio.

[00:48:05] We love that.

[00:48:06] We love to see it.

[00:48:07] Number one.

[00:48:07] Number one in the clubhouse.

[00:48:09] Yeah.

[00:48:09] I think we might, we might get that already.

[00:48:11] And if you're listening to this podcast and you want to weigh in, you should do that.

[00:48:16] Let's skeet it.

[00:48:19] Yeah.

[00:48:20] Okay.

[00:48:21] Skeet it.

[00:48:21] Yeah.

[00:48:23] Did we think about Baylor, uh, and, and, and Missy as final three goats?

[00:48:28] I feel like that we didn't necessarily talk about, uh, people as like total goats at that,

[00:48:33] uh, yet at this time.

[00:48:34] Right.

[00:48:35] You would know better than me for sure.

[00:48:38] Um, I don't know, but I don't think.

[00:48:41] Could I guess in Jacqueline's win condition would have been get to the final three with Baylor

[00:48:46] and Missy.

[00:48:47] Yes.

[00:48:48] Yeah.

[00:48:48] And I think that Jacqueline could have won there.

[00:48:50] Uh, and I think if like Missy gets to the end with no.

[00:48:54] Yeah.

[00:48:55] I don't think so.

[00:48:55] I think like Missy and Baylor, whether fairly or unfairly, I think that Missy clearly has

[00:49:00] been, uh, is going to be like painted by Reed as, uh, like this demon queen.

[00:49:06] Um, I think that like the, the, the, the little rascals of Alec and Wes, I don't think that they're

[00:49:12] ever, I don't think that they're voting for a mother figure, uh, at this, at this point

[00:49:17] in their lives.

[00:49:18] If that's changed at all, I have no idea, but they don't strike me as people who would

[00:49:22] give her the credit that I think that she might really warrant, uh, in a, in, in certain

[00:49:26] circumstances.

[00:49:27] Josh and Reed, uh, are not fans.

[00:49:29] I don't, I don't think so.

[00:49:31] Like, so, uh, like I think that there's, there's like, there's no combination.

[00:49:36] I think that either of them can win if it's the two of them plus an other, like a third,

[00:49:42] it's the third who wins every time.

[00:49:44] Um, if it's one of them and then two others every time it's one of the two others.

[00:49:50] Yeah.

[00:49:50] Uh, so I just don't think that they can win this season at this point in time.

[00:49:53] So I don't know that it really matters.

[00:49:55] Maybe they should have just stayed the course for like loyalty's sake, but Baylor wanted

[00:50:00] to shake shit up and ultimately Missy wants to give her kid what the kid wants.

[00:50:05] Yeah.

[00:50:06] And yeah, for John and Jacqueline, it seems like they were, they were really in the driver's

[00:50:10] seat of that.

[00:50:11] They were about to like, if John and Jacqueline get to the final five, like it's pretty much

[00:50:15] game over.

[00:50:16] Yes.

[00:50:17] Uh, seems that way.

[00:50:19] I should say that.

[00:50:20] Okay.

[00:50:20] So Keith's gone.

[00:50:21] They get to the final five.

[00:50:22] I guess Natalie could win out.

[00:50:24] They have been basically like two shots to get rid of Natalie.

[00:50:27] That's it.

[00:50:28] Yeah, that's it.

[00:50:29] So, um, and one of them is going to win the game and Natalie wins immunity next time.

[00:50:34] Right.

[00:50:34] I think, uh, or no, Keith will, Keith will, Keith will.

[00:50:39] So yeah, I don't know.

[00:50:41] Um, there was, I mean, certainly there's a winning path for, uh, for, for John, uh, and

[00:50:48] Jacqueline here, I think, um, which is why, you know, they are getting taken out.

[00:50:53] It's not just revenge.

[00:50:54] It's, it's good gameplay for, for certainly for Natalie.

[00:50:57] All right.

[00:50:57] So we should go to tribal council and, uh, Keith nail a shot out of a can of a tribal

[00:51:04] out of a cannon.

[00:51:05] Yeah.

[00:51:05] And this is dangerous for Natalie because she told him like, okay, Keith, like don't

[00:51:11] blow it again at tribal council.

[00:51:13] And he's chomping at the bit.

[00:51:15] It's like he rehearsed what he was going to say the entire way to tribal council where

[00:51:19] he's like, I'm not going to do stick to the plan again.

[00:51:21] I'm not going to do stick to the plan again.

[00:51:23] I'm not going to do stick to the plan again.

[00:51:24] Okay.

[00:51:25] Keith.

[00:51:25] Yeah.

[00:51:25] I'm not going to do stick to the plan again.

[00:51:27] You know, it was sort of like the energy of like, he just like, he cannot help.

[00:51:31] Uh, uh, is it, is it another Luca Brasi, uh, situation again?

[00:51:38] Right.

[00:51:40] I think that was from an offline, uh, conversation.

[00:51:44] Oh yeah.

[00:51:45] It certainly was calling back to our, a phone call that we had.

[00:51:49] That's a flashback to a phone call.

[00:51:51] Yeah.

[00:51:51] Yeah.

[00:51:51] Yeah.

[00:51:51] Uh, so that was, there was a very good use of that on that phone call.

[00:51:56] Thank you.

[00:51:57] I appreciate that.

[00:51:58] Very, very good.

[00:51:58] And I think that's a little bit of what Keith is doing here too.

[00:52:01] Yeah.

[00:52:01] Um, I was trying to bring up a good picture of the Alec Christie with his mouth open.

[00:52:06] This is a great time for me.

[00:52:07] Rob's got your, you got your screen share, but like everyone else can't see it.

[00:52:11] And I can only see it in a tiny little window.

[00:52:13] Yeah.

[00:52:13] You totally see that.

[00:52:14] But right now I can only get, bring up a, it looks like you've got like a mood board of the

[00:52:18] Christie brothers.

[00:52:19] Yeah.

[00:52:19] Um, I'm trying to bring up that his mouth is like a gape in, uh, several of his shots

[00:52:26] in the jury, but I'm trying to find the one that was from this episode, but I think I

[00:52:29] only see it in, uh, I did a, I did a screenshot, but it's, I left it on the other computer.

[00:52:36] Um, but, uh, two computers.

[00:52:39] Yep.

[00:52:39] I have my, I have my, my computer that I work from.

[00:52:42] And then also, uh, so maybe best captured by Mario Lanza in the funny one 15, uh, is

[00:52:49] the many faces of Alec Christie on the jury.

[00:52:58] Alec Christie jury face is, uh, incredible.

[00:53:02] Mario's caption there was lost in a cream cheese fantasy.

[00:53:06] Everything's very cream cheese.

[00:53:08] Very, very, very fun.

[00:53:10] Do you agree with that?

[00:53:10] You do like cheese, don't you?

[00:53:12] Cream cheese is fine on a bagel.

[00:53:14] You're more of a cottage cheese, man.

[00:53:16] Oh no.

[00:53:16] We get it.

[00:53:17] Everything's better with cottage cheese.

[00:53:18] Yeah.

[00:53:19] Right.

[00:53:19] You know, a lot of utility in cottage cheese, but it's versatile.

[00:53:24] Y'all can't handle that.

[00:53:25] No, I think that conversation is way too hot.

[00:53:27] Certainly for Bruce guy.

[00:53:29] Uh, and maybe for this crowd too.

[00:53:31] Yep.

[00:53:31] All right.

[00:53:31] So, uh, anything, what's your reaction to this tribal council?

[00:53:35] Similar to Alec Christie?

[00:53:37] Um, boring, boring.

[00:53:40] Get to the vote.

[00:53:41] Uh, there's not really anything that I care that much about.

[00:53:44] I guess it's like John is like, I think about that final speech every day.

[00:53:48] I think about it a lot is what he says.

[00:53:51] Uh, uh, I think about it a lot and keep dreaming, baby.

[00:53:57] Yep.

[00:53:58] Cause you won't get it.

[00:53:58] All right.

[00:53:59] So we get our votes and it's a two, two, two split.

[00:54:02] Uh, oh, yeah.

[00:54:04] Yep.

[00:54:05] So, so Missy was fine to vote Jacqueline, just not John.

[00:54:10] So it is like this, like, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna stab my friend, but you can stab my friend.

[00:54:15] You know, like I feel like she, she permits this.

[00:54:17] She just lets it happen.

[00:54:19] Um, John didn't know this was happening.

[00:54:21] Uh, certainly cause otherwise he would have played the idol.

[00:54:24] I was wondering like, is there any world where Missy was like, I got to vote for your girlfriend?

[00:54:29] Uh, but no, definitely not.

[00:54:31] Cause otherwise idols would have been played.

[00:54:33] Uh, so yeah.

[00:54:34] So like Missy just like, Missy may as well have just voted for John.

[00:54:37] I mean, I know the plan is like, we got to split it, but she may as well have just voted for John.

[00:54:41] And then when we get on the re-vote, she stays on Jacqueline.

[00:54:46] Uh, she votes for Jacqueline in the re-vote.

[00:54:49] Uh, John goes home two to one on the re-vote.

[00:54:52] Yeah.

[00:54:54] Yeah.

[00:54:54] We didn't really get to do it.

[00:54:55] You wouldn't do it.

[00:54:56] Yeah.

[00:54:56] We didn't ever get to see Missy come around on, uh, like what her reason, maybe it's at

[00:55:00] the start of the next episode, but I think it's just like Jacqueline's hot at the next

[00:55:03] episode.

[00:55:04] Sure is.

[00:55:05] Start off the finale.

[00:55:06] The one part finale of San Juan del Sur.

[00:55:09] Fair enough.

[00:55:09] Okay.

[00:55:10] Sweet.

[00:55:10] All right.

[00:55:11] Uh, and so, uh, great move.

[00:55:13] Uh, Natalie has really set things up.

[00:55:15] Let's talk a little bit about what happened in the real time.

[00:55:19] Um, so Natalie's going to get the fishy.

[00:55:24] Uh, so Josh green and Danielle, uh, both went through it.

[00:55:28] Appreciate, uh, all of their work here.

[00:55:30] Uh, so let me, uh, give you a little bit.

[00:55:33] Did Danielle write a spirited defensive downtown Orlando?

[00:55:35] Yeah, she did.

[00:55:36] Uh, downtown Orlando for Wiggler.

[00:55:38] Just a couple of things as to not to take up too much time.

[00:55:40] Uh, there is a sushi place that she says has an amazing happy hour every day from five to

[00:55:46] seven and the roles are also five to $7.

[00:55:49] So that works out.

[00:55:50] Uh, they have Orlando magic basketball and solar bears, uh, the minor league hockey.

[00:55:55] They have comedy night.

[00:55:57] Uh, and then you can also, at the hockey they've comedy.

[00:56:00] No, at other, at the other bar.

[00:56:03] Got it.

[00:56:03] Not a paid product placement.

[00:56:05] Okay.

[00:56:06] All right.

[00:56:07] Um, that's what downtown Orlando's got.

[00:56:12] Other than the table, the chairs and places to sit.

[00:56:15] So Steven was rather shocked.

[00:56:17] He had been saying that John Mish is going to win the season.

[00:56:20] Uh, Danielle puts in here, I'm not sure if this is, uh, was talked about in the real

[00:56:24] time or this was, uh, Danielle's editorial that, uh, Steven is always going to be set

[00:56:29] up for failure reading the edit when a woman wins because they don't know how to edit women.

[00:56:34] So that's like a double burn of Steven and a survivor.

[00:56:37] Yeah.

[00:56:38] Hard to, hard to know if that was like a self-critical fishback.

[00:56:41] Uh, cause I do think that he could be introspective, uh, and you know, maybe could have like summoned

[00:56:46] that, uh, you know, bias from himself for sure.

[00:56:49] There had been the bet about who was the knowingest know-it-all between, uh, Rob or Steven that,

[00:56:55] uh, Steven said, John will outlast Missy.

[00:56:57] Missy does outlast John making Rob at this point in time, the knowingest know-it-all.

[00:57:02] Yeah.

[00:57:02] Do you still do that?

[00:57:04] Um, no, we don't really put that up for granted.

[00:57:06] I think Steven is just permanently the knowingest know-it-all and then we just leave it at that.

[00:57:09] I don't like that.

[00:57:10] I don't like that at all.

[00:57:11] I want to bring that back.

[00:57:12] I think we should bring back the West Nail nugget eating competition.

[00:57:15] I think Steven and I are both comfortable with me saying that he's the knowingest know-it-all.

[00:57:20] I bet he is.

[00:57:21] Mm-hmm.

[00:57:22] All right.

[00:57:22] And you are a charitable man.

[00:57:24] Okay.

[00:57:24] Uh, I did say, according to Josh, that if Keith Nail wins, he would be a bottom five winner of Survivor.

[00:57:32] Uh, yeah.

[00:57:33] I stand by it.

[00:57:34] I stand by it.

[00:57:34] Through 29 seasons?

[00:57:37] Uh, I'm just going through a few of them in my mind.

[00:57:44] With so much, so much, so much respect to the late, great Keith Nail.

[00:57:48] I understand the comment.

[00:57:51] Yeah.

[00:57:51] I do understand the comment.

[00:57:53] Okay.

[00:57:53] And, uh, we, uh, oh, actually, so according to, uh, uh, Josh, that I opened the show with an apology for Natalie about being hard on her move from last week.

[00:58:08] There you go.

[00:58:09] You're a grown up.

[00:58:10] You can apologize when you're wrong.

[00:58:12] Yeah.

[00:58:13] Okay.

[00:58:13] And then let me see.

[00:58:15] Uh, what else should we add in from, uh, Steven was only upset about Missy not getting pulled from the game.

[00:58:22] Because of the bat, not because of the integrity of the game.

[00:58:25] Got it.

[00:58:26] Okay.

[00:58:26] He didn't care about the integrity of the game at all.

[00:58:28] He just wanted to, he, he, he gets, he takes this very, uh, I know I get it.

[00:58:32] I get it.

[00:58:33] All right.

[00:58:34] Let's see.

[00:58:35] Uh, exit interview with John.

[00:58:39] Yeah.

[00:58:39] I, I've got my, I've got my interview pulled up.

[00:58:42] Uh, as always, I'm trying to see like did past Wiggler, how was his headline writing?

[00:58:47] John Mish engages with his shocking survivor defeat.

[00:58:53] And this was on the immediate other side of getting engaged to Jacqueline.

[00:58:57] I believe this.

[00:58:58] They were just boyfriend and girlfriend.

[00:58:59] And then it had just been BFGF.

[00:59:01] And then they got engaged and there were photos and they were cute.

[00:59:04] And then I clicked the link, uh, for their engagement photos.

[00:59:08] Um, and, uh, I don't know if they've been scrubbed from the internet, but the link is dead.

[00:59:15] It doesn't take you to the right place.

[00:59:16] Interesting.

[00:59:17] Um, so John Mish, I guess I asked him about his idol and he, uh, said that John, that Jacqueline

[00:59:23] would have had to have the idol in her possession before tribal for it to be hers, uh, to keep

[00:59:28] it after John was gone.

[00:59:31] So, uh, certainly not Australian survivor roles.

[00:59:34] Uh, but I, I believe that John could pass the idol to Jacqueline at tribal council before

[00:59:39] the votes are cast and she would still be able to keep it.

[00:59:42] Yeah.

[00:59:43] Um, that might be, I don't know if that's a clarification of the rule.

[00:59:46] Uh, at that particular time, or if John Mish did not have the full understanding of the

[00:59:51] rules.

[00:59:52] Yeah.

[00:59:53] Uh, John mission, his exit interview was really nice to everybody.

[00:59:57] Yeah.

[00:59:57] He's a nice guy.

[00:59:59] Yeah.

[00:59:59] And I told him you're being too nice and he said, but I love him.

[01:00:02] Yeah.

[01:00:02] Uh, so he, he was, he's, I mean, he didn't say a bad word about anybody the whole season.

[01:00:07] Right.

[01:00:08] Yeah.

[01:00:09] Not really that I can think of if anything, like what he would say is like, I'm a feared

[01:00:13] of Jeremy, you know, like I'm scared.

[01:00:15] Uh, like that's it.

[01:00:17] You know, I lose to Jeremy, but he wasn't right.

[01:00:19] He wasn't mean about it.

[01:00:21] Yeah.

[01:00:21] No, he was even friends with drew Christie.

[01:00:24] Yeah.

[01:00:24] You know, like he was a nice guy, John Mish, like the harshest thing.

[01:00:28] I feel like he said was like sitting across from Alec being like, I got to tell you, you

[01:00:33] don't have a chance.

[01:00:34] And it's not me being mean.

[01:00:35] It's just like, I'm just trying to be straight with you.

[01:00:38] Yeah.

[01:00:38] He was always a nice guy all through the season.

[01:00:41] Okay.

[01:00:41] So, um, then I talked to a guy coming off of, uh, his, his season Spence that Spencer Bledsoe

[01:00:51] was the guest.

[01:00:52] Okay.

[01:00:53] And what happened there?

[01:00:54] Yes.

[01:00:55] Okay.

[01:00:55] Uh, well, first post Kagi on recap.

[01:00:59] Yes.

[01:01:00] Josh Green, uh, says that in the beginning of the show, we announced TOS for the first

[01:01:04] time.

[01:01:07] Oh, well, yeah.

[01:01:09] Happy anniversary.

[01:01:10] Okay.

[01:01:11] Uh, Spencer talked about how he liked Jeremy as a player and he, uh, like Kelly as a player

[01:01:16] too.

[01:01:16] Thought she had the potential to be really good player.

[01:01:18] Yeah.

[01:01:19] I like Jeremy so much, uh, that I'd be willing to lose against him in a year.

[01:01:26] Yeah.

[01:01:27] Uh, and that's in a year.

[01:01:28] Danielle says that Spencer claim that Tony hated the season and had Jeremy winning the

[01:01:33] game.

[01:01:34] So even he was fooled by the winners at it.

[01:01:36] So, uh, Tony and Jeremy would go on to have a very storied history and future.

[01:01:40] Indeed.

[01:01:41] We don't know what the future holds for Tony and Jeremy.

[01:01:43] And can I tell you that I'm excited to find out?

[01:01:45] Yeah, that's going to be exciting.

[01:01:46] Okay.

[01:01:47] It's going to be great.

[01:01:47] Uh, Jacqueline was Spencer's winner pick.

[01:01:51] Okay.

[01:01:52] Mm-hmm.

[01:01:53] Did he have a, uh, did he like, uh, uh, uh, have a reason or anything?

[01:01:58] No.

[01:01:59] He just said that.

[01:02:01] So yeah.

[01:02:01] Okay.

[01:02:03] Um, let's see.

[01:02:05] Who do we have on feedback voicemails?

[01:02:07] Um, well, so, uh, I think with Spencer did everything.

[01:02:11] He did it all.

[01:02:12] Mm-hmm.

[01:02:13] Yeah.

[01:02:13] Okay.

[01:02:14] Um, according to Danielle, Rob's mom suggested he do a podcast where he interviews Missy's

[01:02:19] ex-husbands.

[01:02:20] I mean, that probably was really good.

[01:02:23] You can't do that now.

[01:02:25] Mm-hmm.

[01:02:25] Uh, I would not do that now.

[01:02:28] Yeah.

[01:02:29] I do remember this podcast.

[01:02:30] I think 2014 Rob was able to do that, but you know, it may be not the most, uh, tasteful.

[01:02:35] I do remember this podcast.

[01:02:36] I remember really like spamming the get clean, get rubbed, get fed.

[01:02:42] Yeah.

[01:02:43] Get clean, get rubbed, get fed.

[01:02:45] Mm-hmm.

[01:02:46] Although I think that we, uh, misheard Jeff.

[01:02:49] I didn't have the captions on.

[01:02:50] I think I said, get clean, get rough, get fed.

[01:02:52] Uh-huh.

[01:02:54] Get clean, get rough, get fed.

[01:02:56] Sounds right.

[01:02:56] That sounds like what you, uh, turned it into.

[01:03:00] Mm-hmm.

[01:03:01] Okay.

[01:03:01] Trevor Chong just joined the chat.

[01:03:04] Hey Trevor.

[01:03:04] What's up Trevor?

[01:03:05] And Trevor says, Rob needs to interview more Survivor X's.

[01:03:07] The world can't handle it.

[01:03:08] I would love to do it.

[01:03:09] Survivor X's interviews.

[01:03:11] Yeah, that's good.

[01:03:12] I would love to do it.

[01:03:14] The world at large could not handle it.

[01:03:16] It would be a great podcast.

[01:03:18] I don't know.

[01:03:19] You don't think it would be great?

[01:03:21] No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

[01:03:22] You think people can handle it?

[01:03:23] That would be great.

[01:03:23] No.

[01:03:24] I think it's possible.

[01:03:25] I think it's possible that the extended RHAP community could green light this, uh, assignment.

[01:03:33] Everybody would listen.

[01:03:34] Everybody would love it.

[01:03:35] But then people would be like, no, I don't like this.

[01:03:37] I don't know.

[01:03:38] I don't know.

[01:03:39] I don't think this is right.

[01:03:41] I don't know.

[01:03:42] This gives me the ick.

[01:03:44] Lil?

[01:03:46] Yes, that's, that's, that's, that's the number one critic of Rob's podcast.

[01:03:50] Rob said that he wasn't going to talk to the exes.

[01:03:53] Now he's, now he's doing a podcast.

[01:03:55] Okay.

[01:03:55] All of, all of Missy's ex-husbands.

[01:03:58] Who would be, uh.

[01:04:00] My husbands.

[01:04:01] Get out of my business.

[01:04:03] Top five exes interviews.

[01:04:04] None of your beeswax.

[01:04:06] Top five exes interviews.

[01:04:08] So, uh, am I.

[01:04:09] Uh, what's his face?

[01:04:11] Uh, uh, uh, uh, David, uh, Murphy's, uh, uh, wife.

[01:04:17] Who was that?

[01:04:17] Okay.

[01:04:18] Um, that was, uh, what, Carolina?

[01:04:21] Carolina.

[01:04:21] Mm-hmm.

[01:04:23] So are we bringing in two survivors that have broken up and we're interviewing them at the same time?

[01:04:27] Maybe.

[01:04:28] Maybe.

[01:04:28] Oh, that's interesting.

[01:04:30] Like, are we bringing in like John Rocker and, uh, Julie McGee?

[01:04:34] And Julie McGee.

[01:04:34] Yeah, that's interesting.

[01:04:36] That's interesting to me.

[01:04:37] Mm-hmm.

[01:04:37] That's really interesting to me.

[01:04:39] Where like either like they can work it out on the pod or like.

[01:04:42] Like Dr. Phil.

[01:04:43] Or they could laugh at their like shared history.

[01:04:46] Mm-hmm.

[01:04:47] Or they could get very dramatic, but it would be on them for accepting the invitation.

[01:04:53] Yeah.

[01:04:53] Uh, yeah.

[01:04:54] Mm-hmm.

[01:04:55] Yeah.

[01:04:56] I think it could be good.

[01:04:57] Okay.

[01:04:58] Uh, Erica says, uh, not only the women complaining men, men's.

[01:05:01] Yeah.

[01:05:02] Men.

[01:05:02] There will be men that complain too.

[01:05:04] Yeah.

[01:05:04] There will be men that will complain.

[01:05:07] Yeah.

[01:05:08] Okay.

[01:05:09] All right.

[01:05:10] Um.

[01:05:10] I think there's, I think there's something here.

[01:05:13] Look, uh, it's not a bad idea.

[01:05:15] Let me just see.

[01:05:16] Um, and then.

[01:05:17] Kat and Hayden.

[01:05:19] Joe, sure.

[01:05:20] That'd be good.

[01:05:21] Um.

[01:05:22] Oh, from Survivor Social Media.

[01:05:24] Danielle also flags that Eliza, uh, was tweeting.

[01:05:28] Wow.

[01:05:28] John sucks.

[01:05:29] Missy sucks.

[01:05:29] This season sucks.

[01:05:32] Sure.

[01:05:32] Yeah.

[01:05:33] That all makes sense.

[01:05:34] Okay.

[01:05:35] Um, then, uh.

[01:05:37] Jeff Probst and, uh, Julie Berry.

[01:05:42] It's interesting.

[01:05:43] Also on Survivor Social Media, uh, there was, uh, a lot of alumni.

[01:05:47] Some night complaining that Missy got medical attention.

[01:05:50] And also some smoke between Russell Hance and Stephen Fishback.

[01:05:55] Russell tweeted to Stephen.

[01:05:57] I was glad JT won.

[01:06:00] And then Stephen responded to say he was glad Natalie won.

[01:06:05] Wow.

[01:06:05] That's like, that's really giving the Lannisters send their regard.

[01:06:09] And then Cochran jumped in and told CBS to make a Russell versus Stephen season.

[01:06:14] Wow.

[01:06:15] I can't believe Cochran hopped into that fight.

[01:06:17] Mm-hmm.

[01:06:18] That doesn't feel like Cochran to me.

[01:06:20] Maybe he deleted the tweet after.

[01:06:22] Yeah, probably.

[01:06:23] Yeah.

[01:06:23] All right.

[01:06:23] There you go.

[01:06:24] All right.

[01:06:24] So here we are, uh, heading into part one of the San Juan del Sur finale next week.

[01:06:29] It's all of it.

[01:06:30] It's the whole finale.

[01:06:31] It's not a part one.

[01:06:32] It's the full finale next week.

[01:06:33] Yeah.

[01:06:33] That's what we're going to do.

[01:06:35] Reunion.

[01:06:35] The whole finale.

[01:06:36] Can we talk reunion?

[01:06:37] Yeah, we'll do the reunion too.

[01:06:37] You know, you were at the reunion, right?

[01:06:39] I was at the reunion.

[01:06:40] I was not.

[01:06:42] I went to a lot of the reunions in the thirties.

[01:06:44] Uh, I think that the only reunions that I went to in the twenties, I think I went to

[01:06:49] the Philippines reunion.

[01:06:50] I think that that was it.

[01:06:52] And then, uh, I went through to like most of the ones in the thirties, but, uh, yeah,

[01:06:58] that this was right before I was invited to a lot of the reunion shows.

[01:07:02] Yeah.

[01:07:03] I went to, uh, this was my third that I attended at this point.

[01:07:07] Yes.

[01:07:07] Uh, cause I was at, uh, one world and Kageyan before it.

[01:07:10] Uh, but I, I got, I got out there.

[01:07:13] I'm sure we can, uh, try to see where my fist pumps are.

[01:07:16] Cause I always tried to like do that.

[01:07:18] So you could see me at home.

[01:07:20] Yep.

[01:07:20] Uh, so I should be recognizable in the season finale of San Juan del Sur.

[01:07:24] Oh, you know, um, comparing survivor 47 back to, uh, survivor, uh, San Juan del Sur.

[01:07:31] Um, there was, uh, one thing that Josh green flagged about how, uh, in the, uh, in the future,

[01:07:41] there was, uh, some discussion over whether or not there, the three-way, uh, revote.

[01:07:47] Uh, the question came up, uh, why everyone didn't get a revote in a three-way tie.

[01:07:51] Steven acknowledged that the argument could be made why everyone should revote.

[01:07:55] Uh, but you both said that the show had always done it, that tied people can't revote.

[01:07:59] And neither of you had a problem with that.

[01:08:01] Uh, that did come up in survivor 47 when there was a tie, uh, between, uh, Sierra and Sam,

[01:08:07] uh, and Gabe, dude, honestly, you don't care.

[01:08:15] I don't care about this.

[01:08:18] All right.

[01:08:18] Um, I was trying to think it was there.

[01:08:20] Uh, I think there was something else.

[01:08:23] Uh, also there was something important I was supposed to do today.

[01:08:28] Um, in the survivor 47, uh, parallel.

[01:08:32] Um, okay.

[01:08:33] Just a rack of my brain.

[01:08:34] Did the, did the challenge that Rachel, uh, ended up, uh, winning immunity on the pad that,

[01:08:40] uh, was that what Keith won immunity on last week?

[01:08:42] Oh man.

[01:08:43] I completely forgot there even wasn't immunity challenge this week.

[01:08:46] Yeah.

[01:08:46] The balance, the, the balls into the paddle holes in the paddle.

[01:08:50] Yeah.

[01:08:51] Yeah.

[01:08:52] But that's not really the same thing.

[01:08:53] Is it from this week?

[01:08:58] Yeah.

[01:08:58] That was the last part of it.

[01:09:00] Yeah.

[01:09:00] I don't know.

[01:09:01] Like get the little, uh, cue balls into the nipple.

[01:09:03] Yeah.

[01:09:04] Yeah.

[01:09:04] Yeah.

[01:09:05] Yeah.

[01:09:05] Okay.

[01:09:06] Don't say that again though.

[01:09:07] Okay.

[01:09:08] All right.

[01:09:09] I know you want to.

[01:09:10] Anything else on your mind?

[01:09:14] Um, I'm already getting a little sad that this journey is almost over.

[01:09:20] Yeah.

[01:09:20] But don't do next.

[01:09:22] Don't cry because it's over.

[01:09:23] Smile because it happened.

[01:09:25] Can you believe I'm looking at this right?

[01:09:28] 13 episodes of Survivor San Juan del Sur.

[01:09:33] We've really spent the last 12 weeks doing this.

[01:09:38] Yeah.

[01:09:39] I think we started back in September.

[01:09:41] Wow.

[01:09:42] Pretty incredible.

[01:09:44] Mm-hmm.

[01:09:44] What will we do next?

[01:09:47] I have some ideas, but, uh.

[01:09:49] I have some thoughts.

[01:09:50] Yeah.

[01:09:50] I have some thoughts.

[01:09:52] We could revisit in, uh, the new year.

[01:09:54] We'd love to hear from our, uh, wonderful community.

[01:09:57] Yeah.

[01:09:58] I've got thoughts.

[01:09:59] Mm-hmm.

[01:09:59] I got plots.

[01:10:00] Yeah.

[01:10:01] Schemes.

[01:10:02] Whoa.

[01:10:03] All sorts of ideas.

[01:10:04] Okay.

[01:10:05] Yep.

[01:10:05] All right.

[01:10:06] So, Josh, what's coming up for you?

[01:10:08] Uh, what's coming up for me is, uh, a lot, frankly, on WeKnowScriptedTV.com, which is the

[01:10:18] scripted wing of RHAP.

[01:10:22] Uh, we've got, uh, of course, every week, the Tastemakers, the Weekend Program.

[01:10:28] These are great variety shows for you to get your TV fix, but also we are rigorously covering

[01:10:34] HBO's Dune right now.

[01:10:37] Uh, Grace Leader and Friends are covering Dune and getting their spice-y takes on the podcast.

[01:10:46] Uh, and plenty more happening in that world.

[01:10:50] Down the hatch.

[01:10:51] It's a fun time.

[01:10:51] Star Wars, the skeleton crew.

[01:10:54] Yep.

[01:10:54] You said you watched that.

[01:10:56] I did watch that.

[01:10:57] Uh, they never really imagined what, uh, suburban, uh, Star Wars life was like.

[01:11:02] Uh, but, uh, it's interesting.

[01:11:05] And, um.

[01:11:05] I get to check it out.

[01:11:06] Yeah.

[01:11:07] Um, yeah.

[01:11:08] Um, uh, that, I think the hottest take that my kids had was that the, uh, elephant kid

[01:11:13] is like Milhouse.

[01:11:15] Oh, wow.

[01:11:16] Okay.

[01:11:17] Like Milhouse, John Kierhofer's guy?

[01:11:20] No, or Milhouse.

[01:11:20] Milhouse from the Simpsons.

[01:11:21] Simpsons guy.

[01:11:22] Yes.

[01:11:23] Got it.

[01:11:23] Got it.

[01:11:23] Got it.

[01:11:24] Got it.

[01:11:24] Uh, I would be more excited if it was Kierhofer's Milhouse.

[01:11:28] Uh, that would be my, my guy.

[01:11:30] Okay.

[01:11:31] Speaking of the sanctuary where good things happen.

[01:11:32] So lots going on.

[01:11:33] We know scripted TV.com would love for you to hit subscribe to that feed.

[01:11:39] Tell some friends to hit subscribe to that feed.

[01:11:42] We are already, um, getting the decks set for severance to return next year.

[01:11:49] There's supposedly a very big Netflix show that is dropping at the end of this very month that

[01:11:55] I can imagine there being some coverage of as well.

[01:11:59] I hope it's not the Aaron Rodgers documentary.

[01:12:01] It ain't, it ain't, but it does involve games.

[01:12:04] Uh, so, uh, looking forward to a lot going on here as we, uh, wrap up our first year of

[01:12:11] We Know Scripted TV.

[01:12:13] Okay.

[01:12:14] Uh, otherwise I'm skeeting, skeeting on the sky at round Howard.

[01:12:18] Trevor says everything's coming up elephant kid.

[01:12:21] Everything's coming up elephant kid.

[01:12:23] Mm-hmm.

[01:12:24] Okay.

[01:12:25] Uh, then, uh, I will shout out Erica who contributed to the, uh, squeet thread, that skeet thread of

[01:12:32] iconic survivor shots here.

[01:12:35] Oh yeah.

[01:12:37] Colby's orgy.

[01:12:38] Yeah.

[01:12:39] Yeah.

[01:12:40] Yeah.

[01:12:41] Three tickets to challengers, please.

[01:12:44] Yes.

[01:12:44] That's it, baby.

[01:12:45] That's it.

[01:12:46] Yeah.

[01:12:47] This gets rowdy.

[01:12:48] I would, uh, Rob, I'd be very interested in revisiting this scene potentially at some

[01:12:52] point.

[01:12:52] That's fun.

[01:12:53] Hey, let me watch treasure Island.

[01:12:56] Okay.

[01:12:56] Yeah.

[01:12:57] Yeah.

[01:12:57] Yeah.

[01:12:57] There's a movie happening here, folks.

[01:12:59] Yeah.

[01:12:59] Like this is a bed.

[01:13:00] They eat no Italian food in this bed.

[01:13:03] Okay.

[01:13:04] I know chicken parm.

[01:13:08] I've been going, I've been going a lot of things.

[01:13:10] I ain't no chicken.

[01:13:11] I ain't no chicken parm.

[01:13:13] I ain't no Toblerone bar operation.

[01:13:15] Chips and butts.

[01:13:16] We're candy and goobers.

[01:13:18] My ass.

[01:13:19] Okay.

[01:13:20] All right.

[01:13:20] We've lost it.

[01:13:21] Thank you so much.

[01:13:22] Take care.

[01:13:22] Have a good one.

[01:13:23] Bye.
