[00:00:37] Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Cesternino and we are here on the red carpet for the arrivals for the Survivor 50 live finale. We are so back in just a couple of hours. We are going to be watching the season 50 finale play out and I'm going to be talking to as many people as I can in this next little bit until we start to watch the show. So let's get started.

[00:01:02] We're here on the Survivor 50 red carpet. I want to start things off with my fellow journalist Savannah Lewis. Savannah, how are you? I'm so happy to see you. I love talking with you. It's like a treat out here. You're always so kind and generous with what I'm doing so I appreciate that. Game respects game. Well, you know why? I hear there's these mean girl allegations. I need you to be the loudest megaphone in the room to tell everybody I'm actually very nice. Okay. Well, my experience with Savannah has only been very nice.

[00:01:32] Okay, I'll see you later. I appreciate that. So how are you feeling going into this big get together with the Survivor 50 cast? Dude, I am chilling. This is amazing because at my last finale I went to like it was so crazy. I was so nervous. I couldn't eat all day. Now I'm pre-jury. I'm third boot. We are kicking it. Like it is just going to be fun and celebration. I'm going to get a little drinking done. Like we're going to have fun. Yeah. What's the vibe with the pre-jury people? Because it's like it feels like it's like a fun club.

[00:02:01] Yeah. Okay, dude, I'm not going to lie. Our pre-jury, like I don't think we could have gotten any better than what we have on our pre-jury. Everybody's just so genuinely cool. I'm like happy to hang out with any of these people like one-on-one in any situation. It's truly been a pleasure. Was there anything that you watched play out over the rest of the season that you were really surprised about? Not necessarily surprised. I'll be very honest with you. So I was pre-jury. I went home separately from the jury.

[00:02:29] First thing I do when I get my phone back, I text Rizzo because I'm like I need to know everything that happened during the season. And when Rizgod got his phone back, he puts me in soap on a group text and tells us everything. So I kind of knew everything that was going to happen, but it was just wild seeing everything in person, especially over the airwaves. I'm so sorry. Rick Devins is so loud right now. Yeah, he's in your head. He's in my head. No, you're just going to block it out. I know. I feel like I'm being haunted by Rick.

[00:02:54] Yeah. No, listen, Rick Devins, that's how he gets in your head. I know. Seriously. I'm like, thank God I didn't have to spend those 26 days with him. I wanted to play with him, but maybe it's good it didn't. If Rizzo takes it home tonight, are you heading to IHOP to celebrate? No, that man's going to take me to a steakhouse. Steakhouse. Yeah, I'm not doing IHOP. Well, no, yeah, I'm not going to do IHOP. They didn't even give me a sponsorship deal, so no, I don't even have to say I'm going to go to IHOP.

[00:03:19] Do you feel like that Rizgod picked up anything from you from going from season 49 and now going back to back? You know, I don't think so. Like, I wish I could say yes, but like, dude, if anything, I feel like I got stuff from Rizzo. He's the one who was so encouraging for me to come back and play 50. Like, I thought, you know, there's no way I'm going to win. I'm going to do terribly. Like, why would I go back? And he was really encouraging and just saying, Sav, just do it for the house money, do it for the experience. And that's how I did it. Yeah.

[00:03:47] Is there any alumni that you haven't met yet that you're really excited to see tonight? Oh, my God. I mean, it's wild because I've met so many of the alumni so far. I would say any of the winners, the former winners. I hear Michelle from 32 is here, so I'm very much looking forward to seeing her. What other winners are here, allegedly? We'll see who turns up. I know. I'm excited. Either way, I'm going to be on my best behavior. Who's the funniest winner in the winner group chat? Oh, shoot. I'm not in that group chat. You what?

The man, the myth, the legend, R-O-B-C, Rob C, baby. Yeah. Wow. What an intro. Do you get tired of that? Not really as tired as the people that hear it get upset. Yeah. Because you're not still a newscaster, but you still are like, is it stolen valor that you still do it?

[00:05:17] You know, as long as I'm Survivor's favorite newscaster, apologies to Savannah, I'll keep dun, dun, dunning my way. I'll never be dun, dun, dun with it. You know, your ride here this season has been so celebrated. What's been the wildest part of all this for you? Honestly, the wildest part is that it's been so celebrated. I feel like, and you might know better, you're this story, and then I'm the exact same guy I was on season 38. And so I figured I'd get the exact same reception, like polarizing. Some love him, some hate him.

[00:05:47] And it's been so much more positive. And I don't know why. Maybe I got less air time. You know, maybe that's it. But like, it's been super touching, honestly. We recently interviewed Brennan Lee Mulligan on the podcast, who gave such a testimonial to you. It was beautiful. I would want him to speak at my funeral if I were you. I absolutely want Brennan eulogizing me.

[00:06:12] And I wish I had a two-minute monologue ready to just go off on how amazing Brennan is. But I truthfully told him before I went out, like, I'm going to try to channel my inner Brennan because he goes big, and he has these great ideas, and he has such a way with words. And so to feel like I made him proud makes me really proud. And I, dude, absolutely was crying listening to the nice things he had to say about me. Bugs Bunny? I mean, what up, Doc?

[00:06:41] I'm into it. The most underrated game on Survivor 50. The most underrated game is Emily Flippen. Like, people are like, oh, she spilled all the secrets. She did all that. But it didn't hurt her. And then it didn't really hurt Christian and I that much. Like, we got out with our own wounds. We did it to ourselves. So I think Emily played an amazing game. I think she would have done really well if she'd gotten to the end of the game. I don't think anyone felt burned by her.

[00:07:11] And she's a chaos agent beyond belief. So, like, amazing TV on top of all of it. What player is going to win Survivor's next All-Star season? I thought you were about to gale me. I'm like, I can't tell you who's going to win. The next All-Star season is going to be won by a player who is going to come in under the radar, but blow everybody away, play much bigger than they played the first time, be hilarious. His name is Gavin Whitson. And he's in Irwin, Tennessee.

[00:07:41] In all your Survivor group chats, who's the funniest person? All right, Fishback and Whitson. It's obviously down to the two of them. And I'm going to go with Gavin because he's a little less angry than Steven and I are. You know, he comes in with just those Whitson witticisms, whereas Steven and I come in with a little bit of an anger humor. You know what I mean? I mean, you do know what I mean. I get a lot of texts from Fishback, yeah.

[00:08:09] But honestly, Rob, I've appreciated all the love All-Season. I think you do such a good job of keeping it down the line. Like, I know everyone's always heaping faith on you, but it's all deserved. And I just, like, thank you for what you do, bringing the community together with all your shows. [00:09:08] We are here with the great rocket scientist, Judd Brobock. We're back here with, of course, the great doctor of robotics. Here he is, Dr. Christian Bickey. Christian, how are you? Doing wonderfully. This is the first time I feel like I've had this introduction with you. It's strange. I don't know. Yeah. But yeah, but it's more good to be here.

[00:09:35] How does it feel to be here at the finale of season 50? Oh my goodness. It has been a roller coaster. It's kind of nice to see the roller coaster coach to the stop at some point because it has been a ride. But boy, what a finish. What a finish it'll be. Yeah. So how does this finale compare to the finale of David vs. Goliath for you? Well, I mean, this finale just has so many... I mean being here more so than the episode. Oh, okay. Like being here? I mean, this just feels like such a culmination.

[00:10:04] Like, honestly, and I don't think this gives anything away in terms of spoilers of the show, but like sometimes it just feels good to feel a part of like Survivor's Big Birthday Party, you know? Like you're invited. I mean, yes, it's about the contestants, but it's also like you see the cruise joy and you're sort of a part of it. I remember like after Final Travel Council, after everything wraps, I like started like crying at this after party and a guy comes over and gives me a back rub to call me down. It was Jeff.

[00:10:30] And it just felt, it just feels momentous to be here for such an important milestone in the franchise. I'm glad I could be part of that. You had a big transformation this season. You went from Christian to Hubicki. Was that your choice? That was not my choice. Jeff just started doing it and I take it as some kind of subliminal compliment, some kind of nod to Cochran with whom I share no similarities. You know, I too really have become Sesternino to Jeff.

[00:10:59] I really, he rarely refers to me as Rob. So, I mean, in a way I kind of love it because he kind of mixes the two. So now people don't forget my first name or my last name. So that's, that's good for the name ID. As I'm sure you think. Did you have a moment in this season that you wish they would have shown that we didn't get to see? Oh my goodness. There was a time when Rick and I were planning to hide that fake idol at Tribal Council. We had this elaborate plan with WS scheme, but Rick wanted to make the fake idol look really good.

[00:11:27] So I'd given him the parchment for the fake idol, but I could not find the twine for the fake idol. I swore I put it in my shoe. Where is it? And sure enough, I must've dropped it somewhere. So we looked around the two of us for it. And eventually we find it. And I'm like, okay, great. And we go back to camp. It's like, Christian, where's the twine? Hand me the twine. I dropped it again. And so Rick, very patiently, clearly he's angry, but he's very, very nice to me. I was so upset with myself. I somehow dropped this twine again. And at the point where like, we talked about it for months afterwards.

[00:11:54] I can't believe this is the bumbling I did around that island. But that would have been fun to show. What player, in your opinion, had the most underestimated or most under the radar good game to you? Oh, under the radar good game? I mean, honestly, I'm not sure she's under the radar, but Emily Flippin, she is so sharp. I think she doesn't get enough credit for all the stuff. And I think the amount of respect also she had from a lot of the, from so much of the cast.

[00:12:23] Like, one, she identified that Ozzy had an idol on like day five. She, like, she figured that out. And I didn't like believe her. I was like, what do you mean she has an idol? I was like, oh, he did this weird thing in the bushes. I'm like, I don't want, I want to hear, don't tell me anymore about what's doing in the bushes. I don't want to know. But it turns out it was hiding an idol and she was right. And also she just had the pulse on everything. She could instantly slap together a plan. She almost pulled together a minority vote split, like blindside on the first tribal council. She gave it to me, like, explain it the last minute.

[00:12:50] And I'm like, I'm not sure I'm good with this, but if we could do it and she could have pulled her off. So Emily's did a fantastic job. Can you predict what player is going to win Survivor's next all-star season? Next all-star season? I'm going to go with Andy. Wow. Okay. Andy. I think Andy is a person who's like, he's got this way. I never met him in person, this guy, but he's got this way of like, of maneuvering where

[00:13:19] people seem to underestimate him, but he's got an incredible skill. And I think that that's a great combination for any Survivor season, all-star or not. Who's the funniest person in all your Survivor group chats? Oh God. Oh God. I mean, just Q. I mean, I mean, Q is just, anytime he interacts with me, I'm just like, I need to study you. I need to, I wish I could harness your powers of just pure improvisational chaos and humor. He just does it. And I don't know how.

[00:13:49] Like, I watched him do like one of these like social media hits, like, and he just stands up and does a thing. I'm like, that was brilliant. How did you do that, Q? Put you on every, in front of every camera. It's incredible how funny he is. I know you had issues with Jimmy Fallon this season, but who would be your perfect celebrity to come in and make some twists on Survivor? Well, I believe, first off, Jimmy Fallon and I have found an understanding. We can both move forward from where we're at.

[00:14:15] But ideal celebrity, I mean, just, you know, give me like a Neil deGrasse Tyson, because then he can come out at night, talk about the stars, something very interesting and new. And while he's talking about the stars, people are distracting them, I go out and try to find an idol or something. I mean, yeah, after Rick is hyping up the stars, maybe that'll get Neil deGrasse Tyson's attention. For the exact same reasons, absolutely. Yeah. All right. Christian, all the best. Talk to you soon. Emily, I had asked a couple of people who played the most underrated game in Survivor 50. And I heard from Rick and Christian that they said you. You heard from the Emily posse that I played the underrated? I'm shocked.

[00:15:43] Who do you think played the most underrated game in season 50? Oh, man. I actually feel like both Christian and Rick got a lot of credit, which was well due for the great games that they played. Right now, I actually wish that I'd seen more of Tiffany's game based off the screen, obviously. Hopefully we'll see more in the finale tonight. But it does feel a bit like based off what I'm seeing so far that, you know, maybe the edit hasn't shown how great her game was.

[00:16:10] You were so close with Rick and Christian all through the season. If they were both drowning and you could only save one, who would you save? I would just drown myself. Thank you. You wouldn't want to go on in a world where one of them has passed. Yeah. Are you shocked? I mean, I literally said to Rick on my way out. I was like, I am the person going right now because the idea of having to go back to camp without you there, especially after Christian's vote off. I love these people. I got to go back with him. I mean, just kill me now. I feel the same way.

[00:16:39] Just drown me. Who's the funniest person in your Survivor group chats? Oh, God. I mean, Devins. It has to be Devins, of course. It's hard to compete with him. I'm not witty, though, so my bar's very low. Who's going to win the next all-star season of Survivor? Ooh, not me, I guess. No, let me think. Let me think about that. You know what? I think Q could take it. Yeah, he needs to have, this was like his Tony Game Changers game.

[00:17:08] And then he needs to come back, and then next time he's not a threat, and he's going to be set up great. Yes. If they invite Kyle back, I think he's a very good. Kyle is, like, way too normal to be cast on Survivor. That's the problem. And that's why he does so well, because the rest of us are just a little off. What's next for you after Survivor 50? [00:21:07] I think it's been so much fun. We've gotten to see the cast really shown. They all came to play and did a really good job. And I think we have. Look, it's not going to be the flashiest winner. It can't be anymore, right? But there's still really, really, really good gameplay happening. Did you have a favorite moment from the season? My favorite. Somebody else asked me this before. And I was like, damn, I should have come prepared a little bit.

[00:21:36] I mean, obviously, the Mr. Beast moment with Rick Devins was obviously super, super fun. I think if the coin had flipped the other way, we would have been a little bit. But I think my real experience is Ceri's whole game. I don't know if that's true. Getting to see every week Ceri work her magic is a sight to behold.

[00:22:05] And the fact that we get to do that in 2026 is such a privilege and honor for every Survivor fan. Who do you think had the most in season 50? I think that Aubrey has been underrated. I think that she had a difficult start and was in danger if things went differently early on.

[00:22:30] But the name of the game is find people that you can beat that think that they can beat you. And it appears like she is doing that. Yeah. Yeah. How does season 50 compare to season 40 for you? Wow. I mean, that's a big question. In what way? Can we try to can we make that a little more specific?

[00:22:56] I guess what I want to know is that did they improve on what they did in season 40 with what they did in this big all star season? Uh, I don't know if it's if it's improved. I would say let me let me now that I've had a chance to think about it.

[00:23:13] I would say like the gameplay on season 40 surprised me in that I thought that what has happened in season 50 with all of the big threats going out back to back to back would be more likely to happen in season 40. Um, and the fact that Tony and Sarah were able to lead whatever they were able to do and get out the quote unquote hyenas.

[00:23:41] I still don't fully understand how they made that happen. So, uh, the fact that this is like the underdogs coming up tends to be more often the case in these returning player seasons. Yeah. In all your survivor group chats, who's the funniest person? Who's the fuck? I think I'm not in enough group chats anymore. Yeah, that's how I feel. Yeah, I think I'm like I said, I'm very surprised to to be here.

[00:26:03] Honestly, I did not foresee the coin flip. That doesn't mean I wasn't here for it because I do love to gamble. I'm very irresponsible in that way, but I did not ever foresee the Mr. Beast of it all. Would you have flipped the coin? Yeah, because I do love to. Well, no. Okay. Okay. My heart says yes because I'm drawn to any type of gamble. But then when I'm in Fiji, I'm just scared of everything and never would put my hand up unless I knew I was going home because 50-50 is better than one in six.

[00:26:33] So yeah, if there was a coin flip on the blood moon night, I would have flipped it. Would have flipped it. Yeah. Who do you think played the most underrated game from what you saw? Choke. I want to talk about your journey because, you know, when we got to see you back in Heroes versus the jury, did you have any big worry of Survivor 50? You know, for me, it was, and I hate to say this because I have an epic answer for you, but I don't.

[00:29:30] Okay? I have no epic answer because I was counting down the days I get to see my wife in 10 days. I get to see my kids in nine days. So it was really just one big countdown. I tried to just be amicable and fun, but I just was really trying to get home at that point. I thought as an observer, you really elevate a juror look this season.

[00:29:55] I saw it like, this is like, you were wearing suits on the jury and we've never, you could have like 20 seasons ago, nobody would have ever worn a suit on the jury. I mean, it was a little bit of a John Johnson style. It's a revival time anyway now. And as far as what's getting popular, five years ago, my kids were like, we don't want to listen to this 80s crap. Now everybody wants kind of that vibe and everything. So it's a full circle moment to go Don Johnson on everybody. I have more suits that are coming up in tonight's episode. Oh.

[00:30:25] Oh yeah, for sure. I had five suits out there and wardrobe was just tickled pink. I was putting feathers in his pocket squares. And you know, for me, fashion has always been really important. My father never gave me money, but he would always buy me a new suit. His father, professional heavyweight fighter, always had a new tailored suit. So like, that's just something like we wore suits to church. I remember the first time my father said, you don't have to wear a tie to church.

[00:30:54] It was a full suit and tie every single Sunday until I was like 17. He's like, okay, today only you can wear a sport coat, but wear a tie. The next Sunday was like, you can wear no tie, but only this time. Yeah. So it's just something that it's always been kind of like in that culture growing up. From your perspective, who played the most underrated game that you saw in season 50? Most underrated game of Final Five or just- No, the whole cast.

[00:31:22] I hate to say it. I hate to say it, man. Is it you? No, it's not me. Hell no, it's not me. I'm sucked. Listen, I'm going to give you one thing and that's the entertainment value. Yeah. Right? He's not getting the shot. He's not getting the shot. Okay. So look, I mean, the Dragon Slayer sucks at Survivor, but he's great for TV. You know, I'm here to bring entertainment. That's it.

[00:31:50] I'd say that the most underrated would be Rizzo. Oh! Yes. Even though like, and it was funny because I actually called Rizzo after the big tribal council where he was just back there smiling. He's like, there's no stress. I'm actually able to witness all this stuff firsthand. I called him and I said, I finally get it. I get the bravado. I get everything. I said, and it's awesome that you can keep your cool in these moments. He navigated the season really well. We didn't know him and that would have made a difference for sure.

[00:32:18] But I think that he's the most underrated player of the season. Okay. Who's going to win the next Survivor All-Star season? Next Survivor All-Star season? You mean you're talking about like season? Future one. 55? 55, 60. Yeah, sure as hell won't be me. I'll tell you that. Oh my God, you. Me? Okay. Big Rob C. Bushmaster. [00:36:12] that we bring to the game was all there. Yeah. We got the two legends, Stephanie and Kobe on that thing. And we were straight running it. Yeah. You had the worst luck. Oh, yeah. For sure. Yeah. I lost the vote, got swapped with the worst crowd that I could have gotten swapped with, and then I went home. Yeah. I didn't even cast a vote for 50.

[00:36:42] Canceled on 50. Yeah. But on 46, I won't cancel. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's one of those things. It happens to the best of us. What have you thought about Tiffany's game in season 15? Really? They haven't shown much of it. Yeah. You know, so it seems like every idea that she's thrown out there hasn't happened. Like, they're not taking her serious. She mean business. She's winning challenges. She's in the final five.

[00:37:10] Her voice deserves to be heard, and I don't think they listen. Hopefully, tonight, she can make them listen. We'll see. I don't know what happens, but Tiffany's game is drastically different. And I'd like to say, I overshadowed Tiffany a lot in 46. A lot of things that she wanted to do, could have done, was overshadowed by me.

[00:37:33] So, me not being there for her doing 50, it's probably been a blessing just because now you guys can see how awesome of a player and person she is without Kiel on her side. So, yeah, it's been dope. From your perspective, who is the underrated player in this season? I mean, I think Tiffany. Even if you go all the way back to when Jeff was introducing all the players, what did he say about Tiffany?

[00:38:03] I don't remember. What exactly? Let me remind you. He came, blah, blah, blah. We got to Tiffany. Tiffany played alongside Q. Tiffany is her own. You associate Tiffany and you automatically think Q. And so Tiffany gets to slide in the background a little bit. So she's underrated in that aspect. And it's like, she's playing with me and Charlie.

[00:38:30] But she's not that player that folks are just going to jump out and say, you know what? She has to go. Like Seri. And I don't know how Seri does it all the time. Everybody go in thinking, she has to go. She don't go. That's what makes her a legend. So I think underdogs would have been, for me, Tiffany. Also, somebody like Jonathan. I thought Jonathan coming in was underdog. Yes, he's a big challenge beast.

[00:38:56] But the first time you saw him play, he didn't have that strategic mind that you would say, okay, he's dangerous enough to get rid of now. Who's going to win the next all-star season of Survivor? If I'm there, which let me just say, it would be a big mistake if I wouldn't be there. Yeah. And we're going to have to cancel Christmas.

[00:39:23] But if I'm there, I think it's a big challenge to get to the end and get a victory. Do you think you need to make any adjustment for the third? As great as I thought I was playing, now if I go back and look, what happens if I don't go after Angelina? If I just come, I'm chill, I go want to work with Angelina and her and Stephanie, and Angelina brings in Mike White.

[00:39:53] Do those three vote with me one time in order for me to restore my vote? I don't know, maybe. Because Angelina did not feel really, really, until Emily Sherwood told that I was kind of targeting her. So maybe I could have done a better job of preserving, but I was so ready to send somebody home that happened to the Q Award where you were going to give us to your favorite player. Why do you let them come in and give us your thunder?

I'm a little bit under the weather, so my voice is a little messed up. But I'm overwhelmingly excited to be here.

[00:51:51] It's the first live finale in who knows how many years. And what a historic occasion for it. Yeah. How do you put this night into perspective as a student of the game? Oh, gosh. I mean, it's historic in the sense that... I was just saying to someone that, like, this band's players from season one, Jenna Lewis, all the way to Rizzo and Savannah. And it's also a little bit emotional to be realized that contextualized in this group of this lineage that I'm part of. I feel like it's the end of some sort of era.

[00:52:21] We don't know what's coming in season 51, but this felt like the culmination of these first 50 years and all the game evolutions, all the twists, whether you like them or not, all the interpersonal dynamics that you never could have dreamed of, ancient feuds being resurrected in Cochinazi and new feuds being born with other players. I don't know. There's been so much to latch on to this season that it's been a fun ride. And an emotional one, weirdly. This feels like a very emotional night, because I don't know when we're going to do this again.

[00:52:48] I think that the live finale, even though the immediate after show is nice, and I see Jeff's preferences about it, I think there is a certain sense of closure you get when all the contestants come together after they've gotten the chance to watch. And you see them with their loved ones, and it humanizes everyone so that you can finally put a bow on this experience. And a lot of the ill will kind of fades away when you're getting to celebrate the season all these years, all these months later. Are you enjoying this? I don't know. It's like being out in public, so the fact that I'm surrounded by a bunch of people

[00:53:18] is always slight deterrent. But no, I mean, the fact that I just met Todd for the fact that Ozzy came up to me and had these very kind things about how his biggest regret was not treating me nicely the first time that he played. And I'm like, oh, I didn't... You were a part of season 15. I was a little fleeting flashback of Christian and I both equally traumatizing Ozzy. So, yeah, even having my little impact on the season was fun. Sounds specific how more relevant this season than it has.

[00:53:44] You created generational trauma for Ozzy, and you worked through it. That is true. Actually, that night when that episode aired, I think it was episode 5, Christian texted me that he was sorry for dragging me into the whole mess. So Christian was a good guy about it too. I think it's all water under the bridge now. Okay. All right, Cochran, great to see you. My pleasure. Great to see you. It's a party now. We've got Joe and Camilla and Jenna Lewis. Okay. What was the most impactful moment of your Survivor experience for you first year? The most impactful moment out of all the times playing. Yep. For both. Who would like to go first?

[00:55:12] Okay. Uh, losing final four fire making. Um, no, no, no. Like, it was like, oh no, I lost. But also, it was like, in that moment, I had realized all the shit I had accomplished on Survivor. And it was a huge, like, oh my God, I thought I was going to be voted out first. And I did all this. So that was huge. Big confidence boost. Now some people would say I might be too confident. No way. But, but, I'll rather be too confident than not confident enough. That's true. Mine would be my foot moving on All Stars. I would have won.

[00:55:42] I don't care what they say now. I know that I would have won. If I had not moved my foot and I'd been final three, I would have won. Because I would have voted out Rupert or Amber at the time if it was those final three. And I would have gone, I would have gone against, uh, Rob and Amber and I would have taken it. Really good, Joe. You're, you're natural. Thank you. Thank you. Hey, we have the best example here. That's true. Yeah. Um, what's it like to be back together with the cast for the first time? I guess I, actually, it's not simple.

[00:56:11] You were there, you were there before the season. But I bet the vibes are different now after the season. I would say specifically with these two is there is a friendship that has developed outside of the game and gone through some hard times. And these two specifically have been super kind. Like it hasn't always been easy. And they've actually been wonderful people. So seeing them again is like, it's almost, it's refreshing because it's not in the game where like all these things happen. It's like real people as crazy as it sounds. So see my friends. Yep. Just friends, actually.

[00:56:41] I just want to hang out with these people. And that's not true for everyone. Yeah. True. I don't talk to everyone. No, me neither. Yep. I mean, like I try to talk to everyone, but it's not like not everyone wants to talk to me. That's a good point. Not everyone wants to. I don't have any problem with anyone, but I don't think everyone wants to talk to me. Can I also just give Jenna some credit? Because she said back on episode one, that, hey, you got to get out Sari. No, nobody listened to her. And she came very close to winning the game.

[00:57:11] She did. And I told them from the beginning that she can definitely take an inch and go a mile. And then you watched her outlast everyone on my tribe. At least she literally helped get them off like a pagong. Like it went in a row of all of Sela in a row. She swept it. But in our defense, if I could go back, I would do 10 million things different. Okay. One of the, I mean, there's a million things I would do differently. Yes. So there it is. Yeah. She is definitely right.

[00:57:39] But how about Joe is the last person left from Sela, right? Yes. Yeah. I miss my friends. I miss my friends. I miss my friends. But you know what? Hey, honestly, I couldn't be more proud of the group because when you look back at everybody here, what is cool for my kids to see is they're all in their own way. So it is pretty cool to sit here and they're going to like trip out. My daughter loves this one and this one. Oh my gosh. And she's a whole torpedo.

[00:58:06] So Camilla, is there anybody you're looking forward to meeting for the first time tonight? For the first time? Who haven't I met? I feel like I just met everyone. Oh my God. I think I've gotten a lot of bad rap, a lot of bad press. I can't say why they gave me bad press. They hate me because they hate me. But honestly, humbly, I think I did a really good job. I came in Survivor 50 with honestly a pretty much 0% chance of winning, and I feel like I did pretty good. And what's it been like for you that I feel like that in the last couple of weeks, I feel

[01:00:32] like that people have really started to identify you online. And this is like a... I think the six-pack is a great look. Liz Godd loved it. But I'm very polarizing, Rob. I was polarizing in the beginning. I'm going to be polarizing at the end. Some people think I'm an idiot for not going to the end and being a zero vote finalist with Ozzy and Cerise. Some people think I'm a genius, but that's the luxury of Survivor. Yeah.

You know, you always watch the finales. Yes. All the people you've just watched starve to death are now in these beautiful gowns. Yes. So beautiful. So wonderful. So this is the first live finale for both of you. And so I guess my question for you is, do you have any questions you want to ask me about anything?

What about in terms of, uh, as season 50 has played out, uh, have you had any, uh, things that really stood out to you? Oh my gosh. I think the Mr. Beast coin flip was, and I know I'm so bad saying it, but that was such a big standout. Seeing Devin's just, you know, almost dying, flipping it, getting it right. And then Stephanie just being ceremonial and ceremonial and booted out.

[01:03:21] That was, that was like such an edge of the seat moment. I, I can't help but go back to the people. Like I, I love specifically Rizzo getting to know all of these different people from Survivor. Yes. Like we had the Colby stuff in the pre-merge. We have the Ceri stuff. Like it just, it's wild that, you know, someone like Rizzo is just. Or when Ozzy and Rick talked about their dads or being a father. That one, I was crying a little. It was a great moment.

[01:03:48] There's a lot of good like interplay between these different like eras that really don't have as much, uh, like they have more in common than you would feel like when we talk about old school Survivor and new school Survivor. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Marianne, also Jonathan, here he is, uh, heading into a finale. Have you noticed any big changes from the 42 game? You know, I've always been saying Jonathan had always had the seeds of the game that we're seeing in 50 and 42. But I feel as if it's been refined a little bit more.

[01:04:16] Like I remember a moment when he wanted to talk to someone about a move and then he said it. Then he went back and said, wait, no, no, no. What do you think? So I think that it's like he had the acumen in 42 and now he's really refined it. And you know, me being selfish, I'm like, yes, let's let a 42 representative win. Yeah. And then Rachel, is there anything in particular you're hoping to see tonight at the live finale? Oh, um, I'm hoping for no fire making maybe. Let's try it out.
