LIVE from New York City, explore Survivor 47 strategies and social game with Rob Cesternino and 29 Survivor alumni as they discuss episode 5.[00:00:01] All right, coming to the stage. It's your social hour. Who's excited? Let's, let's effin' podcast, okay? We have a star-studded show for you here tonight. We have, uh, I would say in this negotiation, uh, over two dozen survivors that are gonna be here with us tonight. And we're not trading them for any damn chickens!
[00:01:06] Let everybody at home know you're here, please. Yes! Okay? All right. We've got, uh, a star-studded panel ready to go. Got some, uh, heavy hitters coming in off the top, okay? Here we go. Let's go with, we've got standing by Kelly Nalbandian,
[00:01:33] Omer Zahir, James Young, Lindsey Dolasiewicz, and Dom Abate! Hello, how are you? James, Omer... Long time no see. Long time no see. Take a mic, have a seat. Wherever you want. How's everybody doing? Do we... He's in the bathroom. Do we lose anybody? We lost, we lost Dom Abate already? He went to Coconut Grove. 10-1. 10-1 everybody. 10-1.
[00:02:04] Oh my god. How's everybody doing?
[00:02:07] I guess I gotta respond, cause you're looking at me, so... Yeah! We're doing great! That was a great episode! What do y'all think? And...
[00:02:15] I just wanna say to everybody, this isn't tribal council. You can all, you can talk to each other, you can ask questions.
[00:02:21] We're scarred, Rob. We're very scarred. We're very scarred, you know? Yes, okay. Oh wait, this is a live tribal, Omer? Something you wanna share with the whole class?
[00:02:28] Uh, there's no subtitles here, sorry. No subtitles. How are you doing? I'm doing great, thank you for having us, and hello New York! What a great city!
[00:02:37] The subway's better than Toronto. Okay, alright, let me start with... Dom, where you been? Uh, you know.
[00:02:45] Hello. Nature calls. How are you doing? I'm well. Okay. Uh, Kelly, let me start with you, okay? I wonder why.
[00:02:53] You are the expert here on iconic tribal council exits. Yeah. Unfortunately true.
[00:03:01] And for Annika, I mean a classic moment. Classic. And you know what? She remembered her torch, which is better than I did.
[00:03:10] So, um, you know, Annika, wherever you are, I got a What the Hell Guy shirt with your name on it.
[00:03:15] Yeah. And it's an honor, you know? It's an honor to be blindsided, I think.
[00:03:19] Yeah. Uh, so, a really, a true blindside here for Annika, and I feel like that this was really, I know it's maybe a little controversial, I feel like the shot in the dark led up to this.
[00:03:36] Omer, I know you love the shot in the dark. I love the shot in the dark.
[00:03:39] I feel like that without the shot in the dark, I don't think that this blindside happens.
[00:03:43] No, it does make you have to blindside people, you can't be humane, you have to put them down as harshly as possible.
[00:03:50] Uh, and you know what? Um, I'm actually, I'm pissed like Liz Wilcox.
[00:03:55] Yeah, why? Because the last time I was at your live show, J Maya got voted out, and now Annika, it feels, feels targeted.
[00:04:03] No, but, but, those are just the ones you come to.
[00:04:07] Oh, okay. Like, those aren't like, that wasn't like the last time we had one.
[00:04:10] Is the curse of PG on me now? Yeah, I think, look at yourself in the mirror, okay?
[00:04:14] Oh, also. Before you make accusations.
[00:04:15] That brings me to one more thing. I'd like to call someone out here, Andy.
[00:04:19] Woohoo! Because Andy, I ride for Andy, and episode one, I was down for him to throw John under the bus, I didn't care.
[00:04:27] But now he's throwing those chickens under the bus, and that's not okay.
[00:04:30] They had a place in that tribe, Andy.
[00:04:34] You're blaming him for the chickens?
[00:04:36] He said they were useless.
[00:04:39] There actually is a very good use for the chickens.
[00:04:43] Eat them. Like, eat them. Like, I feel like it's very simple.
[00:04:46] That's a very good use for the chickens.
[00:04:50] But, James, was this the right move for Sam?
[00:04:57] Sam is still there, and he didn't have to play an idol, so I feel like Sam's in a very solid place.
[00:05:03] Mm-hmm.
[00:05:03] I mean, you have a clear target next week if they lose, so why not do this now?
[00:05:09] Well, I think it's an interesting question for Sam of taking Andy into the merge.
[00:05:16] Mergatory probably is gonna be next week based off of the episode.
[00:05:19] And now you have Rachel, who you're taking with you into the mergatory.
[00:05:25] And now, did you set up a situation where Rachel could be flipping over?
[00:05:30] She knows about the idol.
[00:05:32] Okay. She knows about the idol.
[00:05:34] Uh, Dom, what do you think? How do you handle a situation like this?
[00:05:39] Well, Rachel's my girl, so...
[00:05:42] I'll bluff.
[00:05:44] Uh, if anything happens to her, I'll kill everybody in this place.
[00:05:48] There's like 900 people here, Dom.
[00:05:51] Yeah, dead.
[00:05:51] A lot of them have nothing to do with it.
[00:05:54] She's in a pickle.
[00:05:54] I thought she was playing a very well-balanced game until this episode.
[00:05:59] I even told her, Rach, you're doing great.
[00:06:02] She's like, ah, we'll see.
[00:06:04] Yeah.
[00:06:04] You're forgetting about the Survivor Social Hour.
[00:06:07] The really key Survivor Social Hour that Rachel...
[00:06:09] She was involved in it.
[00:06:10] Yeah, she was very involved in the Survivor Social Hour.
[00:06:13] I mean, so, Lindsay, how do you think Rachel now feels moving forward
[00:06:17] after this tribal council?
[00:06:18] Okay, there's a big blind side.
[00:06:20] Her number one ally is gone.
[00:06:22] And now she's made some connections.
[00:06:24] Do you think that this could end up coming back to bite the people
[00:06:27] that didn't work with her?
[00:06:30] Definitely.
[00:06:30] Because I think that it ruined her relationship with Sierra.
[00:06:34] So now her thinking that she was able to be like,
[00:06:37] do I want to be with Sam?
[00:06:38] Do I want to be with Rachel and Annika?
[00:06:40] Like, now that's been severed.
[00:06:42] So now she's kind of obligated to be with Sam.
[00:06:44] And if I was Rachel, I'd be like,
[00:06:45] I made enough relationships with the Social Hour
[00:06:47] that I'm like, you know what?
[00:06:48] I'm just going to jump ship and go that way.
[00:06:50] Because, sorry, Andy, you seem like a loose cannon.
[00:06:52] However, that last part of it where you're like,
[00:06:56] I kind of knew where they were going to go with it.
[00:06:57] I'm like, that was pretty clever.
[00:06:58] I would still be very dangerous of thinking about Andy,
[00:07:01] because I'd be nervous of him being in the merge too.
[00:07:04] So what are people supposed to do with,
[00:07:07] okay, you have Andy, he's at the bottom,
[00:07:09] he's asking questions.
[00:07:11] What do you tell him?
[00:07:14] Like, don't worry about it.
[00:07:16] It's good?
[00:07:17] I mean, the old school survivor, you would tell them nothing.
[00:07:20] Yeah, I would say as little information as possible.
[00:07:22] This is the, James, this is the new era.
[00:07:25] Okay.
[00:07:26] No, I mean...
[00:07:26] You gotta give him something, James.
[00:07:29] But you have to give credit to Andy
[00:07:30] for actually understanding the tribe dynamics.
[00:07:33] Yeah.
[00:07:33] Where like a lot of people are on the bottom and don't know.
[00:07:35] But I don't think Andy's on the bottom,
[00:07:36] I think Andy's in the middle.
[00:07:37] Oh, sure.
[00:07:38] And Andy has all the information.
[00:07:39] So, at the end of the day, information is king.
[00:07:41] And we didn't even see, and I suspect that it happened,
[00:07:45] that we think that Andy went back and told Sam,
[00:07:48] Hey, Sam, just so you know,
[00:07:49] they're throwing your name out for the fake plan.
[00:07:52] Definitely.
[00:07:53] Yeah.
[00:07:54] And I think that that's really where, you know, Andy,
[00:07:57] Andy's feeling it now.
[00:08:00] What?
[00:08:00] I think he feels really good.
[00:08:02] Yeah, I think he's feeling it.
[00:08:03] I think he's all the way back.
[00:08:04] Andy's riding a high.
[00:08:05] You know?
[00:08:05] And I think that that like, you know,
[00:08:07] this, giving out this other name for the fake plan,
[00:08:10] we saw it happen last week with Keyshawn about like,
[00:08:13] this name gets coming out and then that ends up being a reason like,
[00:08:17] okay, oh, well definitely let's get rid of it.
[00:08:19] If it was like, if Sam was needing to sell it to Sierra even more,
[00:08:24] it's like, oh, but now they're saying my name.
[00:08:25] Now they're throwing my name out there.
[00:08:27] Now we gotta move on this.
[00:08:28] I mean, this isn't easy for Sam.
[00:08:29] Yeah.
[00:08:29] But I think for Sierra, like almost her hand is a little forced with Sam's idol, right?
[00:08:34] Like she has this conundrum and she's put herself in this good position,
[00:08:37] but then this singular idol, which we kind of missed.
[00:08:40] Was Sam definitely gonna play it or not?
[00:08:42] We don't really know.
[00:08:43] But the idea that he could and he's already expressed,
[00:08:46] I'm definitely gonna save Andy.
[00:08:48] That gives Sam a lot of power there.
[00:08:50] James, you're making a lot of gestures.
[00:08:52] I mean, Sam as an idol, like, like you're not gonna put a vote on Sam.
[00:08:58] I mean, like in all actuality, it's a one vote idol if you actually.
[00:09:01] Right.
[00:09:02] So like, I don't know if Andy knew about it, but everybody else did.
[00:09:05] He didn't know about it.
[00:09:05] And I wonder now, did that open the door for is Rachel gonna tell Andy now,
[00:09:09] hey, by the way, did you know that Sam had the idol?
[00:09:11] Now all bets are off.
[00:09:13] It's just like Rome was immune, Sam was immune.
[00:09:15] So any Sam like plan wasn't really real.
[00:09:18] Yeah.
[00:09:18] So I thought it was very interesting that we saw Sam say a couple of weeks ago about,
[00:09:23] hey, what if I play the idol on Andy?
[00:09:25] And Sierra brought up that plan again.
[00:09:27] That they decided not to do that.
[00:09:29] It might make Andy a little spooky scary if we end up surprising him with the idol.
[00:09:38] Was that the right decision?
[00:09:39] To not play the idol on Andy, just do this with votes?
[00:09:43] I think it was actually.
[00:09:44] And I think, you know, Sam may be a little gutsy after watching season 46 to not play the idol.
[00:09:50] So I want to give him kudos for doing that.
[00:09:52] But I think that it's important to, Sam knows how important Andy is to his game moving forward.
[00:09:58] And if he blindsides, why would you blindside Andy with this idol when you're already blindsiding Rachel?
[00:10:03] So you have to keep Andy close to you in order to have that, you know, that we that they keep talking about.
[00:10:09] Yeah, I completely agree because I do feel like it would make Andy's thoughts turn even afterwards, even though it was a good move and a good gesture.
[00:10:16] If the fact that it was unexpected, it's going to then make the turn like his mind turn afterwards.
[00:10:23] And then that would spiral negatively, which wasn't the goal.
[00:10:26] James, you're so expressive.
[00:10:28] All right.
[00:10:29] So I'm looking at the front row and these people are literally making me laugh.
[00:10:32] And I don't like this is bad.
[00:10:34] Like those people.
[00:10:35] Yeah, people in the front.
[00:10:36] Rain it in.
[00:10:37] Rain it in.
[00:10:37] James laugh.
[00:10:40] If you have something to share with the whole class, come up here and say it.
[00:10:44] He's very expressive.
[00:10:46] They'll be up here in a minute.
[00:10:47] Yeah.
[00:10:48] Okay.
[00:10:49] So for this group, I mean, what, how does Sam and Sierra now come back and do they need to tell Andy about the idol before Rachel ends up telling Andy about the idol?
[00:11:02] Kind of.
[00:11:03] Kind of.
[00:11:03] She's going to do it.
[00:11:04] And you know what?
[00:11:05] You guys are crazy if you think if he plays an idol on Andy and Andy is going to be mad that they like, if someone played an idol on me, which I know nothing about, Lindsay, I'd be, um, I, I, it's kind of rude if I'd be pissed about it.
[00:11:19] You might not be open to him.
[00:11:20] You might not be open to him.
[00:11:20] But I never told you about it.
[00:11:21] So then you'd be really upset that I didn't tell you in advance.
[00:11:23] Yeah.
[00:11:24] So then, so then should Sam, Sam should have played the idol on Andy.
[00:11:27] I think it would have been fun.
[00:11:28] It's like a surprise birthday party.
[00:11:30] It's like, surprise, we got an idol for you!
[00:11:31] It would be a great time and make great tea.
[00:11:33] Yeah.
[00:11:34] Obviously.
[00:11:34] Honestly, like, it's interesting because you like walk away from this and you're like, oh, like Rachel's in this bad spot, but she's actually not.
[00:11:39] I think she's actually one of the examples I can think of where you're blindsided with the other person and it's actually not necessarily going to be detrimental to her moving forward.
[00:11:48] I think like, well, they still need her.
[00:11:50] They still need her.
[00:11:51] But does she need them?
[00:11:52] Does she still want them?
[00:11:53] Yeah.
[00:11:53] And I feel like that survivor social hour is sort of like a fake and or pre-mergatory.
[00:11:58] It was like the same vibe where you need to come in and you need to throw someone under the bus and Gata didn't do that at all.
[00:12:03] It was the pre party.
[00:12:04] It was the pre party.
[00:12:05] Yeah, exactly.
[00:12:06] It's a pre game for the merge, right?
[00:12:07] It takes away her dilemma because now she's like, all right, the decision has been made.
[00:12:11] I'll just show.
[00:12:11] So she, I actually think is like a little bit in free agent mode, which like, I think there's maybe a lot of free agents coming from the other tribes.
[00:12:18] So she might be a link.
[00:12:19] What do you got, James?
[00:12:20] And the one thing I think about the new era in general on Survivor is the bottom is really like level four and the top is level six.
[00:12:27] Like it's not actually that, you're not that far off from getting to the top.
[00:12:31] It's level one.
[00:12:32] Any point.
[00:12:33] Yeah.
[00:12:34] The lowest you could go is level four.
[00:12:37] I mean, for the most part, I mean, I got voted out 10.
[00:12:41] So I'm gonna take.
[00:12:41] Same buddy.
[00:12:43] Wow.
[00:12:43] Who would have thought?
[00:12:45] A lot of big dudes.
[00:12:46] But no, like, so the bottom is never as bottomly as you think it is.
[00:12:50] Yeah.
[00:12:50] The top's never as high as you think it is.
[00:12:52] The people are paranoid.
[00:12:52] So I think as long as you're in the game, you have relationships, you have a chance.
[00:12:56] Yeah.
[00:12:56] That's fair.
[00:12:57] Dom, what else are you thinking about this stuff?
[00:12:59] I just, I'm still trying to figure out how Andy, mastermind, manipulated Rachel and Annika.
[00:13:04] I want to take those powers home, use them on my wife and kids.
[00:13:11] It was well done.
[00:13:13] Well done.
[00:13:14] It's pretty good.
[00:13:15] Yeah.
[00:13:15] You know, pretty good.
[00:13:16] He came in.
[00:13:17] He came back from that.
[00:13:18] I mean, he was like looking like a stone cold lock to go home back in episode one.
[00:13:24] And now here he is.
[00:13:26] And he's in like, I had a complete turnaround.
[00:13:29] It's a complete Angela journey.
[00:13:31] My king.
[00:13:33] Can I have your jacket?
[00:13:35] Oh, well, yeah, that would that's a that's an Angelina journey.
[00:13:39] Oh, sorry.
[00:13:39] Yeah.
[00:13:41] Yeah.
[00:13:41] I want to say one thing, please.
[00:13:43] I am very thrilled.
[00:13:44] It's hard for me to watch Annika's emotions, but I love to see people who care about the
[00:13:50] game enough to walk out crying.
[00:13:53] That shows like she was there to play.
[00:13:55] And I am really impressed with that.
[00:13:57] Yeah.
[00:13:58] Annika seems like a fantastic player.
[00:14:02] Another one of these people that like are taken out of the game too soon.
[00:14:07] And, you know, they have these small tribes and people just get taken out.
[00:14:12] There's nothing you can do about it.
[00:14:14] But I thought told Andy how to cut the rope.
[00:14:17] It really worked with Sam the other.
[00:14:19] Yeah.
[00:14:19] Can we normalize not hugging the people that vote us out?
[00:14:22] Like literally like I'm very much not great job and read them as you walk out.
[00:14:29] I'm so for that.
[00:14:30] Well, she had a very similar exit with Asia where she turned around like Saul.
[00:14:35] Was that you?
[00:14:36] Did you vote?
[00:14:36] Like, no, no, it wasn't me.
[00:14:37] It wasn't me.
[00:14:38] So it's like, all right, at least my friends didn't vote me out.
[00:14:40] But it's interesting that we saw a similar exit.
[00:14:42] You need some closure.
[00:14:43] Yeah.
[00:14:43] But I want to know that it seems like that they have been gone for a little bit.
[00:14:48] But I'm wondering, are the voting confessionals and like kind of mean voting confessionals back?
[00:14:54] We saw that Gabe had a spicy one earlier in the season.
[00:14:58] And then Andy and Annika voted with the thing that says you can't vote.
[00:15:04] She didn't get to vote, but she still, and I really, I have to give a lot of credit.
[00:15:09] She still got in her thing of like, hey, I'm voting for you, Andy.
[00:15:15] It doesn't count, but I'm still saying the thing.
[00:15:17] I think Wendell walked so everyone else could run in the tribal confessional booth.
[00:15:23] Okay.
[00:15:24] This is a, gonna be a fast moving night.
[00:15:26] We got a ton of people to get to.
[00:15:28] Anything else this amazing starting panel wants to say?
[00:15:32] You can kick us off, Rob.
[00:15:33] You know we got other people.
[00:15:34] It's okay.
[00:15:34] We understand.
[00:15:35] I absolutely love it.
[00:15:36] We need closure.
[00:15:37] We need closure.
[00:15:38] Now I want everybody to give me a hug before you leave.
[00:15:40] Okay?
[00:15:41] Yeah.
[00:15:42] I'm really loving this season.
[00:15:44] I will say, honestly, normally I'm more of like a post-merge person.
[00:15:47] And every single episode I've been extremely entertained.
[00:15:50] So great job.
[00:15:51] Season 47, I'm so excited.
[00:15:53] This has been an awesome season so far.
[00:15:55] You're all amazing.
[00:15:55] Hey, thank you all for helping me get this thing started and coming up and I'll see you
[00:16:00] all later.
[00:16:01] Okay?
[00:16:01] Okay.
[00:16:02] All right.
[00:16:02] Give it up for these guys one more time.
[00:16:06] Very expressive James Jones.
[00:16:09] Yes.
[00:16:09] Thanks everybody.
[00:16:10] All right.
[00:16:11] We're gonna keep it moving tonight.
[00:16:13] We got another great panel coming up here.
[00:16:16] Okay?
[00:16:16] And we've got here with us, coming up, we got...
[00:16:21] Sabaya, Emily, Brandon, Caleb, who else we got coming up?
[00:16:32] Maddie and Bruce.
[00:16:39] All right.
[00:16:40] Wow.
[00:16:42] I don't have a microphone.
[00:16:44] We got some more mics.
[00:16:44] Who needs a mic?
[00:16:45] Who needs a mic?
[00:16:46] I think better if I don't have one.
[00:16:48] Yeah.
[00:16:49] Hey.
[00:16:49] Okay.
[00:16:50] All right.
[00:16:50] So, you know, we have so much going on that we actually have a little bit of a twist
[00:16:55] here tonight.
[00:16:56] Okay?
[00:16:57] And Caleb, you're gonna like this.
[00:16:59] Okay?
[00:16:59] If anybody feels like, ah, that question's a little spicy.
[00:17:03] I don't really want to answer.
[00:17:05] I don't want to give my true thoughts on this.
[00:17:07] Because we have here our own version of the shot in the dark.
[00:17:11] So, if you don't want to answer the question that's asked to you, go ahead and just pick
[00:17:21] up a pre-written response that's here.
[00:17:25] And maybe it's like the one in a million, right?
[00:17:29] Well, I will say, ah, it's, it was so cool seeing the first panel up here and all the
[00:17:33] strategists and looking around and I don't think we're that.
[00:17:38] No.
[00:17:38] Not at all.
[00:17:39] It's not even close.
[00:17:40] If you can't find the trainwreck tribe, you are the trainwreck.
[00:17:44] Yeah.
[00:17:44] That's how I kind of feel about this group.
[00:17:45] This is the vibes panel.
[00:17:47] Okay?
[00:17:47] So we bring it up and then we can bring some vibes.
[00:17:50] Okay?
[00:17:51] How are you all doing?
[00:17:53] Great.
[00:17:54] Just before we start, I want to let everyone here know I am planning to use my
[00:17:58] shot in the dark.
[00:18:00] Okay.
[00:18:01] All right.
[00:18:03] Maddie, what did you think about this new twist we saw here tonight of the survivor
[00:18:08] social hour?
[00:18:12] Um, whatever.
[00:18:25] Yeah, that's it?
[00:18:26] Okay.
[00:18:27] All right.
[00:18:27] Maddie's playing the shot in the dark.
[00:18:31] All right.
[00:18:31] Maddie, here, open it up.
[00:18:33] Open up your envelope.
[00:18:35] Oh, there's stuff in it.
[00:18:36] Yes.
[00:18:36] Yeah.
[00:18:36] That's all right.
[00:18:38] Maddie.
[00:18:39] Maddie, what do you think of the new twist tonight?
[00:18:42] Wait, what are the rules, Rob?
[00:18:44] I think you just, I don't know what's written on the, in the envelopes that you just read
[00:18:47] what it says.
[00:18:48] Read the card.
[00:18:49] Why won't Ozzy come back for season 50?
[00:18:54] That's a good point.
[00:18:57] That's a good point.
[00:18:58] That's a good point.
[00:18:59] Yeah.
[00:19:00] He would come back.
[00:19:01] He said he would come back.
[00:19:02] He said he would come back.
[00:19:03] He said he would come back.
[00:19:03] Okay.
[00:19:04] All right.
[00:19:05] Sabaya, what are you thinking about this new twist, the Survivor Social Hour?
[00:19:09] Would you have enjoyed this?
[00:19:11] I think somebody like me would have.
[00:19:14] I don't know if it would have gone well for everyone, but somebody that likes to get
[00:19:18] involved with people, likes to have conversations, might have an idol up their sleeve that they're
[00:19:23] trying to find fire for.
[00:19:25] I don't know.
[00:19:26] Yeah.
[00:19:27] It might've went well for me.
[00:19:28] Yeah.
[00:19:29] Now let me ask a question.
[00:19:31] Bruce, did they really just give them one hot dog each?
[00:19:35] That was probably the best hot dog they've ever had in their entire lives.
[00:19:39] Like the best.
[00:19:40] I feel like that you could work that grill like nobody's business.
[00:19:44] If there's anybody that's going to dad up that grill, it's going to be me.
[00:19:47] That could have been you.
[00:19:48] All day.
[00:19:49] You would have killed it at the Survivor Social Hour.
[00:19:51] You could have an apron.
[00:19:52] Yes.
[00:19:53] Yes.
[00:19:53] Kiss the chef.
[00:19:54] One of those.
[00:19:56] Yeah.
[00:19:57] They even had a veggie dog for Kyle, which he called, I believe one of the best food
[00:20:02] experiences of his life.
[00:20:04] Shout out to my veggie dogs at the crib.
[00:20:11] One hot dog.
[00:20:12] Come on.
[00:20:13] Come on.
[00:20:14] That was pathetic.
[00:20:15] I'm sorry.
[00:20:16] One hot.
[00:20:16] It was truly pathetic.
[00:20:18] You want to go to the sanctuary.
[00:20:19] Like I had like a chicken and that's all it was with a chicken.
[00:20:23] Yeah.
[00:20:23] That's you know how many eggs that's worth?
[00:20:24] Greatest chicken in the entire world.
[00:20:25] You know how many eggs that's worth, Bruce?
[00:20:27] But a hot dog?
[00:20:29] Seriously?
[00:20:30] No.
[00:20:30] Speaking of chickens though.
[00:20:31] Jake, Jake, say hot dog.
[00:20:32] Not for anything.
[00:20:33] Hot dog.
[00:20:35] All right.
[00:20:36] What is happening?
[00:20:37] Bruce, stay with us.
[00:20:37] Stay with us.
[00:20:38] Yeah.
[00:20:40] Speaking of chickens though, I'm glad to see that we have like live food and stuff this
[00:20:44] season.
[00:20:44] That's actually really, really cool.
[00:20:45] Sabaya, would you have killed the chickens?
[00:20:47] Definitely.
[00:20:48] Sorry, Kendra.
[00:20:50] But I definitely would have killed the chickens.
[00:20:52] So the Survivor Social Hour, Brandon, everybody gets one hot dog.
[00:20:58] You get a soda and you play cornhole.
[00:21:02] Nary a condiment available at the Survivor Social Hour.
[00:21:06] I saw no trace of ketchup, not a relish.
[00:21:09] He said there was no condiments.
[00:21:10] Brandon, you don't like condiments.
[00:21:13] Be real.
[00:21:13] I don't, but my friends do.
[00:21:15] Yeah.
[00:21:16] I don't like condiments.
[00:21:17] They're playing cornhole.
[00:21:20] Emily, I was waiting for the like, oh, there's like an idol hidden in the cornhole.
[00:21:25] Like I think they just-
[00:21:26] Well, not everyone was playing cornhole.
[00:21:28] Some people were still playing Survivor.
[00:21:29] Some people were playing Survivor.
[00:21:30] Yes.
[00:21:31] Yeah.
[00:21:32] But didn't you think that there was going to be some other like wrinkle of like the
[00:21:37] cornhole game?
[00:21:38] Yeah.
[00:21:38] I was waiting for Rachel to come in with the knife, you know, Jeff Probst's knife and open
[00:21:41] up those sandbags just to see if there is anything in there.
[00:21:45] And if not, she'll just take the sand.
[00:21:50] Yeah.
[00:21:52] Yeah.
[00:21:53] We're talking about the social hour.
[00:21:56] Yeah.
[00:21:56] Yeah.
[00:21:57] The most interesting part was I feel like I was curious how much seemed like the story
[00:22:04] that Sam and Sierra were running the tribe back at the Yellow Tribe, a place we know very
[00:22:09] well, and you know, how much that might have hurt Annika in hindsight because she was one
[00:22:14] of the people who went on the journey.
[00:22:15] Yeah.
[00:22:16] Do you think that they started to compare notes like, all right, well, who was the
[00:22:19] person that was saying this and confirming this?
[00:22:23] Was it a, was it you baby Andy or was it Annika?
[00:22:26] Yeah.
[00:22:26] I mean, it was interesting because the way that Sam was telling Sierra, he was like sitting
[00:22:30] back in the hammock.
[00:22:31] He almost had like a smile on his face.
[00:22:33] I feel like this is like the final piece of the puzzle he was hoping to use to sell
[00:22:36] Sierra that we have to stay with Andy.
[00:22:39] Don't you think?
[00:22:40] Or anyone?
[00:22:40] I don't know.
[00:22:41] Well, you know, I don't agree with you.
[00:22:43] You don't agree?
[00:22:45] Well, that's the thing about me and Sabaya.
[00:22:47] You know, she's like, oh, when there's a pair, a visible pair, she's like, let's vote out
[00:22:51] the other person instead of right.
[00:22:52] I'm still no, honestly, like with me and Caleb, that's also something that's always
[00:22:58] like in the back of your mind.
[00:22:59] So I could see, you know, Sam and Sierra feeling comfortable now, but I'm sure in the next
[00:23:04] seasons, like more and more, it will start to weigh in the back of their mind for Sierra
[00:23:08] specifically, I guess.
[00:23:10] Here's this big guy.
[00:23:11] He's an idol that he could have played and he had such luxury to not even have to play
[00:23:18] it, which was a huge decision.
[00:23:19] But I agree with them preserving Andy and everything like that.
[00:23:22] So it'll be interesting.
[00:23:24] Yeah.
[00:23:24] It really got into story hour of like, okay, tell us what happened at all of the tribal
[00:23:30] councils.
[00:23:30] And then everybody was like comparing notes and Tiana was like, hey, and let me, can I
[00:23:37] tell you about Gabe?
[00:23:38] This guy, Gabe, that he's looking for the idol.
[00:23:42] And she really tried to throw Gabe under the bus.
[00:23:47] It was like, she said like, hey, it worked for Gabler.
[00:23:52] This is the move.
[00:23:53] I'm going to go to the, go to the party.
[00:23:55] And then the guy that I don't trust, I'm going to throw under the bus.
[00:23:58] But I think that this was too soon.
[00:24:00] Oh, I agree.
[00:24:02] Oh, well, I shouldn't comment on that.
[00:24:05] I liked it.
[00:24:06] I love Tiana.
[00:24:07] She's my winner pick.
[00:24:08] But also, yeah, I really like Gabe.
[00:24:11] And I did notice that the room was very quiet when Gabe was talking his shit.
[00:24:15] And I have to say that cocky people from Maryland get a really bad rap here.
[00:24:20] Okay.
[00:24:21] TK, Gabe, myself, justice for cocky people from Maryland.
[00:24:28] Yeah.
[00:24:28] Can we give it up for the cocky people from Maryland?
[00:24:31] They have their own section.
[00:24:33] They're in the top left here, I think somewhere.
[00:24:37] Caleb, I know that there was more you want to talk about then.
[00:24:41] The new twist.
[00:24:43] Oh, of course.
[00:24:45] I mean, I feel like it was, I will say, very, very cool.
[00:24:51] I feel like Andy's one of the most self-aware people on the bottom in terms of how to play out of their positioning.
[00:24:57] And that's the thing about Survivor.
[00:24:59] It does follow the law of physics, right?
[00:25:00] Every action has an equal and opposite reaction for every new high.
[00:25:04] Unfortunately for people, whether it's Anika, whether it's J Maya, my girl, right?
[00:25:08] Yeah.
[00:25:09] For any one person to have a moment, it usually means it's at the detriment of somebody else.
[00:25:14] And so, you know, I think I really appreciate Andy's new spot in the game, this life that he has, because I think hopefully it's not going to be gone very soon.
[00:25:24] Yeah, he's doing great.
[00:25:26] It's a real great turnaround for Andy.
[00:25:28] Sabaya, last week we saw Sue had to cut the vine down and does not get a candle she has to burn.
[00:25:38] She gets the red paint that she has to deal with.
[00:25:41] How would you have handled that situation?
[00:25:44] Being caught red-handed, I would have took my eyes and ran right into the ocean immediately and just washed all of it off and just left the scene.
[00:25:52] Like honestly, like I feel like she hung around a little too long.
[00:25:56] You would have just left the paint.
[00:25:57] I would have just left it because realistically the only thing that ties you to that scene.
[00:26:01] I was going to say that.
[00:26:03] And I would just say I did it.
[00:26:04] The only thing that tied her to the scene was her being covered in the red paint.
[00:26:07] So as long as you can separate yourself, you're fine.
[00:26:09] And Bruce, you were covered in the red paint in Survivor 44, right?
[00:26:13] Oh!
[00:26:15] No.
[00:26:17] Damn.
[00:26:19] So now why did you find an idol? Did you find an idol?
[00:26:21] I'm still triggered by stuff. I see a board somewhere. There it is right there.
[00:26:25] There it is right there.
[00:26:27] So I know exactly where Sue was and it would have been so easy for her to go to the water well, take a little bit of a left, go down towards the water.
[00:26:36] Why didn't she do like Rome and just jump in the whole well?
[00:26:40] That would have been good too.
[00:26:41] But I don't want people to get sick, like they would get sick from that.
[00:26:44] But she could have went around the corner and then went down into that water and just cleaned herself off.
[00:26:48] I was sitting there and my daughter actually said to me, she goes, Dad, she still has paint on her face.
[00:26:52] And I'm like, oh shit, she does.
[00:26:55] And then all of a sudden Tiana was like, what's wrong with your face? What did you do? Did you cut yourself?
[00:26:59] I bit the back of my tongue. How the hell? Like I'm trying to figure it out.
[00:27:03] You bit the back of your tongue and it's like there's blood everywhere? What is going on here?
[00:27:08] And it's on her hands and it's in your hair. Oh my God, it's in my hair.
[00:27:12] She's just like, um, yeah, oh, I'm good. That's fine. Just go over there. I'll be fine.
[00:27:18] That is what in my household was like absolute gold. We're jumping around loving life.
[00:27:24] It was a fun moment for sure. All right. So does the panel have anything else?
[00:27:30] Yeah. I just want to say like, I feel like for the idol that I had this season, it's been kind of represented twice.
[00:27:36] One with the vine and then the other one with the kind of Russian doll effect.
[00:27:40] Cause my idol was like, okay, if you, it's called the marshmallow experiment, you know?
[00:27:45] Oh yeah. If you accept the, you know, delayed gratification, you get rewarded later.
[00:27:51] And I loved seeing it played out in a more like, I don't know, like forward way this season with the rushing doll thing.
[00:27:59] So I thought that was really, they've done some fun stuff. Caleb, won't you play a shot in the dark before you leave?
[00:28:04] Hey, come on for old time's sake. Rob, Rob. I just love seeing idols being played.
[00:28:12] That's what I love seeing. I love seeing them being played.
[00:28:20] Uh, all right. Why couldn't Jesse afford Billy Joel tickets?
[00:28:30] He didn't start the fire.
[00:28:37] A lot of Jesse fans apparently.
[00:28:41] Did Brandon write these?
[00:28:43] One in six.
[00:28:45] So five out of six times you're going to lose.
[00:28:47] Yeah. Okay.
[00:28:49] And I, Rob, before we go, can we do one more thing?
[00:28:52] Last time we had the Rhab show.
[00:28:54] Yeah.
[00:28:54] Brandon Donlan went home.
[00:28:56] One year ago, he was right there.
[00:28:59] And I think it takes a lot of courage to come to something like this when you know that you're going to be voted out.
[00:29:06] So could everyone just clap again for Annika?
[00:29:08] Oh, I think I say for Brandon.
[00:29:10] Yeah.
[00:29:10] And for Brandon Donlan.
[00:29:11] Look, it's, I'm sure it's hard, it's hard, but at the same time, there's nowhere else you're going to go where you're going to feel so much love from people as well.
[00:29:22] It's a, it's a tough thing for any of us to go through.
[00:29:25] No winners here, right?
[00:29:26] Yeah.
[00:29:27] We've all experienced it.
[00:29:31] All right.
[00:29:32] Thank you all so much.
[00:29:34] We got another great panel coming up.
[00:29:36] I'll see you all later.
[00:29:37] Thank you.
[00:29:42] All right.
[00:29:43] So you got, you got something for me?
[00:29:45] Just really quick.
[00:29:46] So the Mets are on right now and I know there's such overlap between survivor fans in sports, particularly baseball.
[00:29:53] Yeah, there is here.
[00:29:54] Yeah.
[00:29:57] So I'm, I'm re I'm, I'm watching it on my phone.
[00:30:00] I've never watched this like recreationally.
[00:30:03] I've been at games, but I look at the planes in the sky.
[00:30:05] It's two zero.
[00:30:06] We're not winning.
[00:30:07] We is in the Mets.
[00:30:08] But if there's a score change, I'm going to run up and just tell you what it is.
[00:30:12] I'll be in the corner.
[00:30:13] Thank you.
[00:30:13] If you don't see me, that's why that's what happened.
[00:30:15] I, I never imagined the Mets would still be playing when we planned a live show on October 16th.
[00:30:21] I didn't think it would happen.
[00:30:22] Now look at me, but I'm dedicated.
[00:30:24] Okay.
[00:30:24] All right.
[00:30:25] We have another great panel that's coming up.
[00:30:28] Here we go.
[00:30:29] Lindsay Carmine is here.
[00:30:31] Yeah.
[00:30:32] We've got, okay.
[00:30:33] We got Janine.
[00:30:34] We've got Dwight.
[00:30:36] We've got Tevin.
[00:30:37] We got Ben.
[00:30:38] Hey everybody.
[00:30:41] Tevin, I almost wore the same exact thing.
[00:30:44] I know you did.
[00:30:45] I know you did.
[00:30:46] I know you did.
[00:30:46] Yes.
[00:30:48] Okay.
[00:30:49] All right.
[00:30:49] I want to talk a little bit about the Tuku tribe.
[00:30:53] Okay.
[00:30:54] And so, and it's great.
[00:30:55] We've got some Survivor 43 here to talk about this with me.
[00:30:59] And of course, they were a, they're a blue tribe and they're, you know, you know, a dysfunctional
[00:31:05] tribe.
[00:31:06] And so we had a dysfunctional season, dude.
[00:31:09] Yeah.
[00:31:09] Yeah.
[00:31:10] So I do, I want to talk a little bit about what happened tonight with Tiana and her decision
[00:31:16] to tell everybody about what was, yes.
[00:31:20] Let me tap your shoulder.
[00:31:21] Okay.
[00:31:21] Tiana is also my winner pick.
[00:31:23] Okay.
[00:31:23] There would be, yes, that's correct.
[00:31:25] Tiana's my winner pick.
[00:31:26] Thank you.
[00:31:26] Thank you.
[00:31:27] Thank you.
[00:31:28] Thank you.
[00:31:28] So there would be no Tiana slander on this stage.
[00:31:30] I'm just like, maybe no now.
[00:31:31] There would be no Tiana slander.
[00:31:33] And we would go from there.
[00:31:33] Okay.
[00:31:34] I have to beg to differ.
[00:31:35] I'm sorry.
[00:31:37] Oh, okay.
[00:31:38] I love Tiana.
[00:31:39] I love her.
[00:31:40] But I also, I did sympathize with Sue coming from someone who has been on the other side
[00:31:44] of someone really, you know, throwing your number one ally under the bus in front
[00:31:49] of a public forum.
[00:31:51] It's hard.
[00:31:52] It's hard to come back from.
[00:31:53] And yeah.
[00:31:54] So I just want to, there's two sides to this and.
[00:31:56] Yeah.
[00:31:57] Powerful women who deserve.
[00:31:59] No.
[00:31:59] And I suspect that's probably what Tiana was thinking about.
[00:32:02] It's thinking back to your season where, okay, this is a, you know, a good spot where
[00:32:06] I'm going to like, here's somebody that I don't feel so good about.
[00:32:09] I'm going to offer that up.
[00:32:10] But the, just the difference was that that was actually a, a group vote where there were,
[00:32:16] there was the ability to take action on that.
[00:32:19] And this was a week early or an episode early to do that.
[00:32:24] And then, so they come back and this is, I thought, this is a, I thought,
[00:32:26] this was very interesting of, okay, so they knew what had happened.
[00:32:31] It was a really, it was so interesting that the whole other, the whole rest of the tribe
[00:32:35] was there except for Gabe.
[00:32:37] And so it's Caroline who says that I think you need to go tell Gabe what happened and apologize.
[00:32:44] And so I thought it was so interesting, sort of like the half truth that Tiana decides to reveal to Gabe.
[00:32:52] And also the half truth, I'm intrigued by the choice of what she chose to say because Caroline told her like,
[00:32:56] hey, like, you know, that's what was said.
[00:32:59] And then Tiana's story was, I said something in private, which doesn't line up with how would Caroline know what happened.
[00:33:04] Right. So it's kind of a, she already kind of shot herself in the foot with the half truth that was going to be easily exposed by both Sue and Caroline there.
[00:33:11] But also I think it showed how much social credit Caroline has to, you know, for both Sue, for both Gabe and Tiana to, you know,
[00:33:18] kind of tell Gabe, hey, this happened, tell Tiana, hey, you need to go confess up.
[00:33:21] And both sides kind of respect Caroline's opinion there.
[00:33:24] So I'm really intrigued by what that shows about Caroline's position on that tribe.
[00:33:28] How are we doing? No, no slander so far.
[00:33:30] I'm keeping a coup. I'm keeping a coup.
[00:33:31] Well, my question is, is like if somebody came up to you and they were like, you're going to have to throw yourself under the bus and then apologize.
[00:33:39] Would you guys do it? No.
[00:33:41] Like I would find every reason under the sun to avoid that conversation. Right.
[00:33:47] And how do you do that?
[00:33:49] Yeah. But this tribe, it's been interesting because also then there was like a lot of like, okay, you have to, when,
[00:33:54] and TK had said the thing and then there was like, okay, TK should apologize to Tiana.
[00:33:59] And there's a lot of like in this tribe that, you know, every tribe is different.
[00:34:03] There's a lot of like, okay, you need to go apologize to that person.
[00:34:06] There's been a lot of mansplaining this season on how to play.
[00:34:10] And I think if everyone took a step back and maybe said, oh, how, how should I, how should I play this game?
[00:34:16] As opposed to how should I teach someone else on my tribe to play this game?
[00:34:20] Things would be a lot different. Yeah.
[00:34:22] Is there a different way that Tiana could have handled everything when they got back to the camp?
[00:34:29] I think you kind of dug yourself too deep to not discuss with the rest of your tribe that you're throwing somebody under the bus.
[00:34:36] Mm-hmm.
[00:34:37] And no slander on Tiana, you rock.
[00:34:40] Yeah.
[00:34:41] But I do think there's only two options.
[00:34:44] You either own it or you start playing even extra hard when you get back.
[00:34:48] Yeah.
[00:34:48] And you can't give the half lie that other people can account for, which would not rock.
[00:34:54] It was discussed at the last tribal too, that Gabe looks for idols.
[00:34:57] So, you know, you can just say that like, yeah, I told him you look for idols.
[00:34:59] Also, I would say show notes because I can only imagine Gabe must have torn that island apart.
[00:35:04] Oh, no doubt.
[00:35:06] Because like, I was thinking when I saw the tribes, like Gabe was alone from blue and Tina was alone from red.
[00:35:12] I kind of would, you know, if you lose, that's not too bad.
[00:35:14] You get to go look for idols and everything on your own for an hour or two.
[00:35:17] So.
[00:35:18] Tevin, this is why we need two hour episodes.
[00:35:21] So we could show.
[00:35:22] No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[00:35:23] Not sure.
[00:35:23] You know, what I will say about Sue is that yes.
[00:35:26] Yes, ma'am.
[00:35:26] Sue for going to go tell you number one.
[00:35:28] My number one did not tell me that I was going home the night I went home.
[00:35:31] That did not happen.
[00:35:32] So, uh, to, to, to go tell Gabe and be like, listen, your name is out there.
[00:35:37] So that Gabe could retaliate and find a way to, you know, slide out of that is absolutely
[00:35:40] the right thing to, um, right thing to do.
[00:35:42] Yeah.
[00:35:43] I do think that Tiana's in a tough spot because when they voted out TK that Tiana got told
[00:35:48] like, Hey, like, uh, we're going to do the epic girl boss move tonight and it's the women
[00:35:53] working together.
[00:35:54] And so she doesn't really even know that Gabe is actually with Sue and Caroline.
[00:35:59] Right.
[00:36:00] So it's a, it's a little bit of a tricky spot and it's, uh, must be harder to go to something
[00:36:05] like this with your whole tribe as opposed to Teenie who got to go, uh, just all, uh,
[00:36:12] all alone and not have anybody there to tattle.
[00:36:15] Yeah.
[00:36:15] I mean, like, I mean, I mean, like what you said, I'm impressed at this point that you
[00:36:18] know, Sue, Caroline and Gabe have kind of kept their alliance under wraps to the point
[00:36:22] where, you know, like Tiana had no idea she was putting herself in so much danger doing
[00:36:26] that with everybody there.
[00:36:27] Cause she thought, you know, I'm people who won't go tell Gabe and instantly that obviously
[00:36:31] blows up in her face.
[00:36:32] And I'm trying to see how that plays out in the next episode because it's going to
[00:36:34] hit the merge.
[00:36:35] And I can only imagine Gabe's going to be gunning after her hard with the other tribe.
[00:36:39] Sure.
[00:36:40] Yeah.
[00:36:41] Okay.
[00:36:41] Janine, you, you have the hottest takes here.
[00:36:43] Let me, let me bounce.
[00:36:44] Sorry.
[00:36:45] Don't be sorry.
[00:36:46] Don't be sorry.
[00:36:48] Should, should Tuku have thrown the challenge today to get rid of Tiana at the point where
[00:36:56] she's throwing Gabe under the bus?
[00:36:58] I mean, I'm sorry.
[00:36:59] This is not a hot take, but as a survivor fan, you should never throw a challenge that
[00:37:03] is just like against.
[00:37:04] No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
[00:37:08] I'm so sorry.
[00:37:08] As an old school.
[00:37:09] I have to beg to differ.
[00:37:11] I'm going to have to tap you on your shoulder now, like you did to me earlier.
[00:37:13] No, no, no, no, no, no.
[00:37:13] I have a very hot take.
[00:37:14] Push back, push back.
[00:37:14] I believe that if you do not go to tribal council before merge, your tribe will always fall apart.
[00:37:18] Nami fell apart.
[00:37:19] Nami was the only people that were not there.
[00:37:20] I agree with that.
[00:37:21] I do believe that you have to go to tribal because you do not know where the tribal lines
[00:37:25] are until that parchment is written on.
[00:37:27] But that's what you mean that you're on top of the tribal line.
[00:37:29] That depends for a player.
[00:37:31] Exactly.
[00:37:32] If you don't know where you are, then you're not going to want to go to tribal.
[00:37:34] So, listen, you need to go to tribal.
[00:37:37] Yeah.
[00:37:38] Now, because they're talking, Caroline's talking about, hey, I need to get this five back together,
[00:37:42] Lindsay.
[00:37:42] So that is that the, is that the right move to try to heal this group?
[00:37:48] Again, as someone who tried to do that, it's, it's almost, once the lines are fractured,
[00:37:55] I think it's, it's impossible to kind of recover from.
[00:37:57] It's like, you know, with a family fight, it's estranged.
[00:38:01] You're going to have to let it just mull over and do its own thing.
[00:38:04] There's nothing you can do to corral or Australian Shepherd things back into their right place.
[00:38:09] Yeah.
[00:38:09] Okay.
[00:38:10] Yeah.
[00:38:11] Can I say something about the challenges though?
[00:38:13] Yes.
[00:38:13] On that point.
[00:38:14] I do appreciate.
[00:38:16] Janine is on fire.
[00:38:17] Sorry.
[00:38:18] Sorry.
[00:38:19] This is the last time I will say an observation.
[00:38:22] I appreciate the game makers trying to throw some twists and turns like the social happy
[00:38:28] hour and the puzzle, like the fact that it was a little bit more complex in that the
[00:38:34] less time you have to take it down, the less time you have to study it and build it back
[00:38:40] up.
[00:38:41] So I don't know.
[00:38:41] I thought that was like a little tweak that I'm like, okay, survivor, they do care.
[00:38:45] And they're changing the structure of the challenges in a way that is, you know, as
[00:38:48] super fans, nice to know.
[00:38:51] Yeah.
[00:38:52] And please keep sharing your takes, Janine.
[00:38:55] I'll talk about it.
[00:38:55] Ben, won't you play a shot in the dark?
[00:38:57] Come on.
[00:38:58] I would play Shot in the Dark by Ozzy Osbourne off his album The Ultimate Sin.
[00:39:04] You want me to grab one of those?
[00:39:05] Yeah.
[00:39:06] Okay.
[00:39:06] Come on.
[00:39:07] Do you want Ben to play a shot in the dark?
[00:39:09] A shot in the dark.
[00:39:12] Okay.
[00:39:13] What do you got?
[00:39:13] Before I ask, yo, I'm like really hungry.
[00:39:16] Does anybody have any snacks?
[00:39:18] I get triggered watching Survivor.
[00:39:20] I want to eat, you know?
[00:39:21] Does anybody in the audience have any snacks for Ben?
[00:39:24] Just one hot dog.
[00:39:26] Yeah.
[00:39:26] All right.
[00:39:26] Melly, you got snacks?
[00:39:28] You actually have snacks?
[00:39:30] Yeah.
[00:39:31] Sorry.
[00:39:31] Let's go.
[00:39:34] Okay.
[00:39:34] Yes.
[00:39:35] Okay.
[00:39:37] Why can't you go?
[00:39:38] Oh, dude.
[00:39:38] I'll pass half of this.
[00:39:39] Like, Melly has like a meal prep here.
[00:39:42] Like leftovers.
[00:39:43] Here, just read the shot in the dark.
[00:39:45] We're on a time table.
[00:39:46] I want to get a different one now.
[00:39:48] Yeah.
[00:39:49] Okay, here we go.
[00:39:52] Dog, you lived in the jungle too.
[00:39:54] Don't act like you would eat it.
[00:39:54] Okay, real quick.
[00:39:55] Real quick.
[00:39:56] Okay.
[00:39:58] What state do the most survivor players live in?
[00:40:03] What?
[00:40:04] Denial.
[00:40:04] Oh!
[00:40:07] Okay.
[00:40:08] All right.
[00:40:08] Thank you to the great panel.
[00:40:11] Thanks, Rob.
[00:40:12] Great job.
[00:40:12] Hey, you rock.
[00:40:13] Thank you, Tevin.
[00:40:15] Yeah.
[00:40:15] Take care.
[00:40:16] All right.
[00:40:18] Thank you.
[00:40:19] Thank you.
[00:40:19] Yes.
[00:40:19] All right.
[00:40:20] Brandon, you got an update for me?
[00:40:21] What's going on with it?
[00:40:21] What's going on?
[00:40:22] I have horrible news.
[00:40:23] Oh, no.
[00:40:25] It's remarkably bad.
[00:40:27] What happened?
[00:40:28] There were two more runs that were scored.
[00:40:31] Not our team.
[00:40:32] Yeah?
[00:40:32] Not our team.
[00:40:33] Mike Turner just left.
[00:40:34] He was upset.
[00:40:35] I don't know if he's still here.
[00:40:36] I haven't looked over.
[00:40:37] He doesn't look happy.
[00:40:38] No, he doesn't.
[00:40:38] He's actually coming up here now.
[00:40:40] Yeah.
[00:40:40] That's it.
[00:40:40] I'll be back.
[00:40:41] All right.
[00:40:42] Let's bring up another panel here.
[00:40:44] We've got coming up here a big one here.
[00:40:48] Okay.
[00:40:49] It's the Purple Pants Band as Bryce Isaiah.
[00:40:51] It's Izzy.
[00:40:53] It's Wendeezy.
[00:40:56] It's Sydney and Tiffany.
[00:40:59] That's the number one.
[00:41:14] You got an U.S.
[00:41:16] I'm on stage.
[00:41:17] So we're not going to do that tonight.
[00:41:19] Okay.
[00:41:19] Robert, can I get something off my chest real quick?
[00:41:21] Yes.
[00:41:22] Uh-oh.
[00:41:23] Because I was sitting in my seat today.
[00:41:24] Hey, y'all.
[00:41:26] Do you hear me?
[00:41:26] I was sitting in my seat and I said, Lord Jesus, let me be a rope.
[00:41:31] Because if I was a rope, I would want somebody like Andy to come just chop me off.
[00:41:37] Because I said, oh!
[00:41:39] Okay.
[00:41:40] Oh, sorry.
[00:41:41] Sorry.
[00:41:41] How was his form cutting the rope?
[00:41:43] Oh, doggy.
[00:41:47] Okay.
[00:41:50] Sorry.
[00:41:51] Why do you put it up here with this guy?
[00:41:52] Let me switch seats.
[00:41:53] I got a little moist.
[00:41:53] I'm sorry.
[00:41:54] I'm sorry.
[00:41:55] Get that out of here.
[00:41:56] The problem is he would cut you with the dull side.
[00:41:59] Yeah.
[00:42:01] Yeah.
[00:42:03] You won't look at him?
[00:42:06] Mike, how you holding up?
[00:42:08] I'm not doing good right now.
[00:42:09] Yeah.
[00:42:10] Look, if...
[00:42:11] First of all, what the heck are we doing here on a Wednesday night during a Met game?
[00:42:15] Mike, I can't change the date.
[00:42:17] If anything, the Mets screwed us up.
[00:42:19] I had this date planned for three months.
[00:42:21] Hey, we never thought we'd ever be here as a Met fan.
[00:42:24] And look at us.
[00:42:25] Look at us.
[00:42:26] Miserable again.
[00:42:27] Miserable again.
[00:42:28] That's how we like it.
[00:42:29] Okay.
[00:42:30] I want to talk about what's going on with the Lavo tribe.
[00:42:32] Okay?
[00:42:33] We had...
[00:42:34] You know, they went to two tribal councils in a row.
[00:42:37] They avoid tribal council, but they still had a lot of interesting stuff going on there
[00:42:42] this week.
[00:42:43] And first of all, let's start with Teenie, who's in such an interesting position.
[00:42:49] Went on the journey last week.
[00:42:52] Got to go to the Survivor Social Hour this week, solo.
[00:42:58] Wendell, how do you think Teenie is set up now going into the merge?
[00:43:02] Well, can you just remind me what she did at the social hour?
[00:43:05] Because I was sitting between Tevin and Davey and they were a little bit distracting.
[00:43:10] Oh, my bad.
[00:43:11] My bad.
[00:43:12] You're still here.
[00:43:12] My bad.
[00:43:14] They did something more than the first merge boot at Winners at War is what happened.
[00:43:19] Okay?
[00:43:19] Just some.
[00:43:22] Bryce, I've turned over a new leaf.
[00:43:24] I'm going to be nice to you today.
[00:43:29] Oh, Winners at War?
[00:43:40] I'm good.
[00:43:42] I'm good.
[00:43:43] This has nothing to do with Survivor whatsoever.
[00:43:45] But I just thought I'd tell you I was tired.
[00:43:47] Okay.
[00:43:48] Moving on.
[00:43:48] Moving on.
[00:43:49] Well, I think Teenie was in a precarious position because she was the only one sent on
[00:43:53] the journey from- I'm sorry, sent to the-
[00:43:56] Yeah.
[00:43:58] Social Hour.
[00:43:59] Social Hour.
[00:43:59] From her tribe.
[00:44:00] Social Hour.
[00:44:01] But I also think my man Rome.
[00:44:08] I love watching Rome.
[00:44:10] Yeah.
[00:44:10] I love it.
[00:44:12] Can we get a shout out to my man Rome?
[00:44:13] I love Rome.
[00:44:14] Shout him out.
[00:44:14] Okay.
[00:44:14] I love Rome too, but I also love Saul.
[00:44:16] I love watching.
[00:44:16] He's very entertaining.
[00:44:18] Saul's my man.
[00:44:19] Hey, no side conversation.
[00:44:21] I was saying Saul's my man.
[00:44:22] Okay.
[00:44:23] He's trying to run a Rome podcast over here.
[00:44:25] I was talking to you actually.
[00:44:27] Well, stop talking to me.
[00:44:28] You get me very nervous.
[00:44:29] I know.
[00:44:30] I have that effect on men.
[00:44:31] Yeah.
[00:44:33] Or man.
[00:44:34] One man.
[00:44:35] One man.
[00:44:36] Kevin, how you doing?
[00:44:37] Tiffany's making me very nervous up here.
[00:44:38] I was like, I'm nervous.
[00:44:40] I was, I'm, I'm a Canadian.
[00:44:42] I was on the New York subway today and there were like two crazy groups of people like going
[00:44:47] at each other.
[00:44:47] And I was trying to figure out like, who would I rather hurt me?
[00:44:50] That is law though.
[00:44:51] That is law though.
[00:44:52] And I'll tell you how you, all these people are very, very, very smart.
[00:44:56] We got Rome, Genevieve, Teenie, Saul all going at it, running around, trying to
[00:45:00] hurt each other.
[00:45:01] It is actually like the New York subway.
[00:45:03] They're all, they're all good at this.
[00:45:05] They're all trying to one up each other.
[00:45:06] It's electric.
[00:45:07] I don't know if I could live there.
[00:45:08] I don't know if I could live in New York, but it's a lot of fun.
[00:45:11] That was pretty good.
[00:45:12] What was Genevieve's line today?
[00:45:14] She said something smooth, which the scales be tipping.
[00:45:18] Yeah.
[00:45:18] She's a real one for that.
[00:45:19] She's invited to the cookout.
[00:45:20] She's a real one.
[00:45:22] Does she get, nevermind.
[00:45:23] Cause if I was invited to the cookout, I'd get more than one hot dog, but I mean.
[00:45:28] Veggie dog.
[00:45:29] Oh no.
[00:45:30] Oh, you know, I need a hundred-sit meat.
[00:45:33] He he he he he he he.
[00:45:34] Either way.
[00:45:35] Not for nothing.
[00:45:36] I love hot dogs, but that vegetarian hot dog did not look good at all out there.
[00:45:42] I'm not sure I could've ate that thing.
[00:45:43] Um, excuse me.
[00:45:45] I don't know if any of you know this about me, but I love talking about the bathroom.
[00:45:48] So I just want to shout out Saul.
[00:45:51] Did he he's the one who said, Oh, fart, right?
[00:45:55] Oh, did he say that?
[00:45:57] He said, fart, fart.
[00:46:00] What I wouldn't have given to have been that person at that moment who said that.
[00:46:05] That was so great.
[00:46:06] I just sat at him.
[00:46:06] Why did he say that?
[00:46:07] Because he wanted to say fuck, but he said fart.
[00:46:09] Oh, sorry.
[00:46:10] He's like in a good place?
[00:46:11] Yeah.
[00:46:11] He was like, I'm going to use my, my good word that I love.
[00:46:14] Yeah.
[00:46:14] Tiffany, you had your great moment on Survivor.
[00:46:16] The balance beam.
[00:46:18] Um, it was a lot like our friend who was sawing the stick.
[00:46:22] Only I was doing it onto the balance beam instead.
[00:46:26] But nobody talks about that as being a good moment.
[00:46:28] No.
[00:46:29] You know what that remind me of though, Tiffany?
[00:46:31] Oh, here we go.
[00:46:32] No, I'm just saying y'all remember from Tim from season 46?
[00:46:36] Yeah.
[00:46:37] Okay.
[00:46:38] Shout out to my Tim.
[00:46:39] I, I, the way Lord Jesus just came over me and said, say Tim from 46.
[00:46:45] Yeah.
[00:46:46] Okay.
[00:46:49] What?
[00:46:49] All right.
[00:46:50] Izzy.
[00:46:51] Izzy.
[00:46:51] Okay.
[00:46:53] That I am wondering with this red tribe, how are they going to function when they get into
[00:47:00] the merge-atory?
[00:47:01] Cause they really are, it seem like they're going in all these different directions.
[00:47:05] Yeah.
[00:47:05] And I'm wondering if they're like a, I feel like that Rome is the least of their problems.
[00:47:10] I feel like that Teenie is about to leave them high and dry.
[00:47:13] Absolutely.
[00:47:14] Yes.
[00:47:15] These are, they're all, they're all leaving each other once the merge happens for sure.
[00:47:19] They're, they're not staying together.
[00:47:21] I think Teenie was in like an awesome position at the social hour actually, because Tiana's mistake
[00:47:25] was not necessarily what happened when they got back to the beach, but like being the first
[00:47:29] of multiple people from your tribe to speak.
[00:47:32] Like that's a dangerous position to be in.
[00:47:34] You don't know what Sue or are thinking.
[00:47:36] Right.
[00:47:37] And then you're just going up there with something really intense, you know, like that's,
[00:47:41] that's complicated.
[00:47:43] Yeah.
[00:47:43] Teenie can say whatever.
[00:47:44] And Teenie's also already connected with, with Andy and with Caroline of having the
[00:47:49] three-way idol.
[00:47:51] So, Teenie's already very incentivized to leave this group that just voted-
[00:47:54] One hundred percent.
[00:47:56] Teenie will have that solo idol.
[00:47:58] I know it.
[00:47:59] Yeah.
[00:47:59] Is that a threat or a promise?
[00:48:01] Threat.
[00:48:01] Oh, okay.
[00:48:01] It was a threat.
[00:48:02] Okay.
[00:48:04] You want to do a shot in the dark?
[00:48:05] I say Wendell stop playing.
[00:48:06] Wendell go ahead and do it.
[00:48:08] Wendell go ahead and do it.
[00:48:09] Wendell's got it.
[00:48:10] Come on Wendell.
[00:48:11] Shot in the dark for Wendell.
[00:48:13] Wendell take it.
[00:48:14] Okay.
[00:48:15] What do you got?
[00:48:15] What do we have here?
[00:48:20] What does Jeff Probst calls?
[00:48:24] What does Jeff Probst call Johnny Fair play?
[00:48:29] Johnny's my friend.
[00:48:31] You want me to read it?
[00:48:32] I'll say it.
[00:48:34] Trick question.
[00:48:35] He doesn't.
[00:48:39] I don't like it.
[00:48:40] These writers, the writers are like a very, a little rude.
[00:48:45] That's a little rude.
[00:48:46] That's mean, man.
[00:48:47] Yeah.
[00:48:48] Robert, I, I, I, you know, I got a little wet this episode.
[00:48:51] I also had an issue.
[00:48:52] Sorry, sorry, sorry.
[00:48:54] Did somebody spill a drink?
[00:48:55] Something like that.
[00:48:56] Yeah.
[00:48:57] I also had an issue this episode with the yellow tribe.
[00:49:01] Yes.
[00:49:01] Because for some reason I became a hen.
[00:49:04] And when I became a hen, I was like, you know what?
[00:49:06] If I'm a hen, I'm gonna do sumas.
[00:49:08] So I'm 22 years old.
[00:49:09] Right.
[00:49:10] And I also felt like, well, if I'm 22, why is Sam just throwing me away?
[00:49:15] I can produce 20 eggs a day, Sam.
[00:49:18] I'm just saying.
[00:49:20] I, I can, I can produce 20 eggs.
[00:49:24] I mean, yeah.
[00:49:25] You make a good point.
[00:49:26] What's happening?
[00:49:27] You should have played your shot at the dark.
[00:49:29] I don't, I, I'm just saying.
[00:49:30] Hello?
[00:49:30] Kevin.
[00:49:32] Are you feeling like you're back on the subway?
[00:49:35] This is, this is electric.
[00:49:36] I like this.
[00:49:37] I feel like I'm with Lavo.
[00:49:38] We're just having fun attacking each other.
[00:49:40] Yeah.
[00:49:40] 30 eggs, Sam.
[00:49:42] You know what I thought was a really interesting moment with Lavo also was when Saul went back
[00:49:46] to Genevieve and just basically said like, boy, Genevieve, I can't believe it.
[00:49:51] Like Rome.
[00:49:52] Yeah.
[00:49:53] Rome told Saul like, Hey, Genevieve doesn't want to work with you.
[00:49:55] He's like, Genevieve, I'm really hurt.
[00:49:57] I thought you wanted to work with me.
[00:49:58] Rome said you didn't want to.
[00:50:00] Uh, I feel like that not everybody does that on survivor.
[00:50:03] It's like, uh, it's like, well, now I got to work against Genevieve.
[00:50:06] Like to just like, uh, come out and say the thing that you had heard, like that was pretty wild.
[00:50:11] It's amazing how in life and in survivor, just having a tough conversation sometimes can save you a lot of stress.
[00:50:18] And for Genevieve, she's like, yeah, that, that is true.
[00:50:21] I did say that, but I didn't want Saul to know it.
[00:50:24] That was pretty good.
[00:50:25] Yeah.
[00:50:26] Yeah.
[00:50:27] I didn't make it this far in the episode, so I wouldn't know what I would do in that situation.
[00:50:31] I'd be home.
[00:50:34] Tiffany, what else are you thinking about this, this season?
[00:50:37] I'm thinking a lot about what's happening over there in that corner.
[00:50:40] I'm concerned.
[00:50:43] Not, yep, yep.
[00:50:44] That one, that corner with the sunglasses.
[00:50:45] Now I know where you're wearing the sunglasses.
[00:50:47] You were having a whole moment with that show.
[00:50:50] With Saul.
[00:50:50] I saw it.
[00:50:52] With Saul.
[00:50:53] This whole side is New York Fashion Week.
[00:50:55] What am I thinking?
[00:50:56] The whole moment.
[00:50:57] Y'all look incredible.
[00:50:58] Are you asking me what I'm thinking?
[00:50:59] Yeah.
[00:51:00] Well, I was thinking about how I didn't go on a social and that hot dog would have been really
[00:51:04] good and I would have eaten the freaking chicken or three of them.
[00:51:07] And I was also thinking that if I was Jonathan on that episode and you had 18 eggs, that wouldn't
[00:51:11] have even been enough for him.
[00:51:12] Yeah, that's a-
[00:51:12] So that negotiation sucks.
[00:51:13] That's like a snack for Jonathan.
[00:51:17] That's a snack.
[00:51:17] That's a snack.
[00:51:17] So I was thinking about that.
[00:51:18] 45, Sam.
[00:51:19] Jonathan would have ate one of his tribe members.
[00:51:21] Yeah, he was going all like, yeah.
[00:51:24] He was stopping at home.
[00:51:25] That's what I was, I was also thinking that because of the way he's talking tonight, I
[00:51:28] was thinking about the show that I'm watching, Tell Me Lies, which is so good.
[00:51:31] I'm just saying.
[00:51:33] Have you been watching it?
[00:51:34] A little.
[00:51:35] Oh my God, obsessed.
[00:51:37] Okay.
[00:51:37] That's a different podcast.
[00:51:39] That's a different podcast.
[00:51:39] But anyway, that's what I was thinking.
[00:51:41] You asked me what I was thinking.
[00:51:42] That is true.
[00:51:43] I opened up Pandora's box.
[00:51:44] That's what I was thinking.
[00:51:45] This is why I did not get past where I got on Survivor.
[00:51:49] Izzy, what else are you seeing from this season?
[00:51:52] I'm loving this season.
[00:51:54] I think this is a great season.
[00:51:55] It's a great season.
[00:51:56] I think like a lot of people are really thinking.
[00:51:58] This was a great episode.
[00:51:58] I think a lot of decisions are being made, you know?
[00:52:01] I think, yeah, yeah.
[00:52:03] I wasn't happy with who went home tonight.
[00:52:06] But, you know, I would have tried to do something weird.
[00:52:09] Convince Sam to play his idol for Andy.
[00:52:13] Everyone vote for Andy, but they actually all vote for Sam.
[00:52:16] Get rid of Sam.
[00:52:17] Sam's causing Sierra problems, right?
[00:52:19] She's got the two girls already at the social hour.
[00:52:22] They're maybe connecting up with more people.
[00:52:23] Do you feel like that Sierra made the right decision?
[00:52:25] No.
[00:52:27] Yeah.
[00:52:27] But that's, you know, I'm biased.
[00:52:30] You know?
[00:52:30] Yeah.
[00:52:31] That's all.
[00:52:32] That's my thoughts.
[00:52:32] That's my thoughts.
[00:52:33] Okay.
[00:52:33] You know what?
[00:52:34] I thought they were gonna, at one point, I thought that they were gonna blindside Andy.
[00:52:37] Yeah.
[00:52:38] Cause like, he's, he's thinking of this crazy strategy, which is actually-
[00:52:44] I think it's a great strategy, Bryce.
[00:52:46] May I finish?
[00:52:47] I'm just saying tread lightly about Andy.
[00:52:49] You know, I also need to teach Andy how to saw.
[00:52:53] You know what I'm saying?
[00:52:54] Yes, yes, you did.
[00:52:55] That would be great.
[00:52:56] It's just a longer motion, Andy.
[00:52:58] That's all it is.
[00:52:59] Okay.
[00:52:59] Just-
[00:53:00] Oh, God.
[00:53:03] And I'm the problem.
[00:53:04] Not like that.
[00:53:04] No, not like-
[00:53:05] You know what?
[00:53:06] Do we have another C?
[00:53:08] Great job tonight, Andy.
[00:53:09] That's all.
[00:53:10] Okay.
[00:53:10] All right.
[00:53:11] All right.
[00:53:11] I'm getting the signal.
[00:53:13] I gotta wrap up with this group.
[00:53:14] Okay?
[00:53:15] Bring the lawyers in.
[00:53:15] Thank you all so much.
[00:53:17] Thank you.
[00:53:18] One more panel to get through.
[00:53:20] Okay.
[00:53:21] Are you tired of me yet?
[00:53:22] No.
[00:53:23] Never.
[00:53:24] Never.
[00:53:24] Never.
[00:53:25] Okay.
[00:53:25] Thank you all so much.
[00:53:27] Okay?
[00:53:28] All right.
[00:53:29] We've got one more panel coming up.
[00:53:32] And this is-
[00:53:33] We gotta talk about this negotiation that happened.
[00:53:35] We haven't even talked about this yet.
[00:53:37] Okay?
[00:53:38] And so we've brought in some of our top negotiators and litigators around to talk about this.
[00:53:44] So, please welcome-
[00:53:46] Who's coming up here?
[00:53:47] We've got Eliza, Jake, Sydney, and Katara.
[00:53:57] Tiffany said this one's not working.
[00:53:58] Here, grab that one.
[00:54:00] Here, grab that one.
[00:54:00] Right there.
[00:54:01] The chair's fine.
[00:54:02] The chair's fine.
[00:54:03] Tiffany said the mic's not working.
[00:54:04] You can sit by Rob.
[00:54:05] Yeah.
[00:54:06] All right.
[00:54:06] We gotta talk about this negotiation.
[00:54:09] Okay?
[00:54:09] All the mics working.
[00:54:11] Okay.
[00:54:12] How's everybody doing?
[00:54:13] Hi, Rob.
[00:54:14] Amazing.
[00:54:14] Hello.
[00:54:15] Hi, Katara.
[00:54:15] How are you?
[00:54:16] I'm great.
[00:54:17] Yeah.
[00:54:17] You've got your lawyer panel up here.
[00:54:19] I know.
[00:54:19] Look at these lawyers.
[00:54:20] All the lawyers.
[00:54:21] We miss you, Charlie.
[00:54:22] We love you.
[00:54:23] I hope you passed the bar exam.
[00:54:25] Please pass the bar.
[00:54:25] He did.
[00:54:26] Come on.
[00:54:27] He's getting his results tomorrow.
[00:54:29] So fingers crossed for Charlie.
[00:54:30] I'm sure he's fine.
[00:54:31] You got this.
[00:54:32] He's fine.
[00:54:33] He's fine.
[00:54:33] He's fine.
[00:54:34] He's fine.
[00:54:34] Okay.
[00:54:35] Okay.
[00:54:38] Oops.
[00:54:38] Just kidding.
[00:54:38] Just kidding.
[00:54:39] I'm talking to you.
[00:54:40] Charlie, wherever you are.
[00:54:41] I'm eclectically speaking.
[00:54:42] Let's re-center over here.
[00:54:43] All right.
[00:54:44] Let's re-center.
[00:54:44] Let's talk to the people on the stage.
[00:54:46] Let's talk about what's going on with the chickens.
[00:54:50] Oh.
[00:54:51] Okay.
[00:54:52] So, three live chickens get given to the survivors.
[00:54:56] Here you go.
[00:54:57] This is your reward.
[00:54:58] Three live chickens.
[00:54:59] The chickens got returned like when I see something, a jacket on Amazon and I'm like,
[00:55:07] all right, let me try that and I take it right back to Kohl's.
[00:55:11] They returned her the reward.
[00:55:14] Outrageous.
[00:55:15] Truly.
[00:55:16] I mean, I don't know.
[00:55:17] I thought we were past the point of loving the chickens so much that they can't be killed.
[00:55:23] Dude, I'd wrangle that shit.
[00:55:25] Like that's just death.
[00:55:25] Why are we not eating at least one?
[00:55:28] I mean, if you've never, you know the phrase running around with a chick, like a chicken
[00:55:31] with your head cut off.
[00:55:33] If you've never cut off a chicken's head, how would you even know the physical manifestation
[00:55:37] of that phrase?
[00:55:38] Did you ever have chickens on micronesia?
[00:55:40] Yeah.
[00:55:40] We killed chickens, Ozzy chopped its head off and it ran around with its head cut off
[00:55:45] and we ate it and it was delicious.
[00:55:47] Yeah.
[00:55:47] I haven't experienced that.
[00:55:48] Sorry not sorry.
[00:55:51] You know, I just want to like that for the survivors, are they feeling like any sort of
[00:55:56] like social pressure of like, I don't want to kill the chicken.
[00:55:59] I don't want to be the one that kills the chicken.
[00:56:01] Dude, if you're starving, what the hell is the social pressure?
[00:56:05] Kill the chicken.
[00:56:05] Like what the, like, I'm starving.
[00:56:06] Also, they're not starving.
[00:56:08] It's 26 days.
[00:56:09] They're not starving.
[00:56:10] A free large chicken?
[00:56:12] Unpopular.
[00:56:13] Well, they're not actually as big as they were before.
[00:56:15] I feel like they're kind of small this season, right?
[00:56:17] That means they're organic, which is good.
[00:56:19] We don't want like hormone infused chicken, you know?
[00:56:21] But we want some chicken.
[00:56:23] We want chicken.
[00:56:24] We need free range chicken rewards.
[00:56:26] That's it.
[00:56:27] I just want to say, I would, I wouldn't not kill the chicken on the island.
[00:56:31] Whatever.
[00:56:32] See ya.
[00:56:33] But, but.
[00:56:34] Oh wait, wait, wait, wait.
[00:56:36] Hold up, hold up.
[00:56:36] Hold up, hold up.
[00:56:37] Can I finish?
[00:56:38] Can I finish?
[00:56:38] Can I finish?
[00:56:39] Can I finish?
[00:56:39] I'm not going to stop a person with a machete.
[00:56:41] You know what I mean?
[00:56:42] Yeah.
[00:56:43] I'm not going to stand in front of them.
[00:56:44] Okay.
[00:56:45] Well, look, we've got our legal experts here.
[00:56:48] So I want to know about this negotiation.
[00:56:51] Okay.
[00:56:52] So they bring back three live chickens and say, Jeff, hey, you know what about that?
[00:56:57] Second place was six eggs.
[00:57:00] We would like to exchange the chicken for 24 eggs.
[00:57:05] And Jeff does not say, get the hell out of here.
[00:57:08] Great.
[00:57:09] He also didn't pull out a knife and randomly stab a bag of rice.
[00:57:13] So I think they're doing okay.
[00:57:19] You don't want them?
[00:57:20] I'll take them.
[00:57:22] Okay.
[00:57:23] Who wants them then?
[00:57:25] Yeah.
[00:57:25] And let the other tribes take them.
[00:57:27] Be like, oh, you don't want them?
[00:57:28] Really?
[00:57:28] I like that.
[00:57:28] There's no return policy here.
[00:57:30] Sorry.
[00:57:31] And just taking them from that tribe.
[00:57:32] Yes.
[00:57:33] What's the legal precedent?
[00:57:34] Legally speaking.
[00:57:35] Oh, there needs to be like a fair negotiation.
[00:57:37] There needs to be like somewhat equal bargaining power.
[00:57:40] Do you know where we were?
[00:57:42] This is a right.
[00:57:42] Right.
[00:57:42] So that's the thing.
[00:57:43] This isn't a negotiation.
[00:57:45] Like Jeff could just straight up, which I think Jeff should have just been like, nah,
[00:57:48] there's no consideration.
[00:57:49] Exactly.
[00:57:50] Yeah.
[00:57:50] What happened to spicy Jeff?
[00:57:52] This wasn't that spicy.
[00:57:54] It wasn't.
[00:57:55] It wasn't spicy.
[00:57:56] It was Jeff.
[00:57:56] The chicken was plain.
[00:57:57] It was very mild.
[00:57:58] It was soft, Jeff.
[00:57:59] And he gave him 15 eggs.
[00:58:01] 18 eggs.
[00:58:03] From 15.
[00:58:04] He gave him 18.
[00:58:05] It was 18.
[00:58:06] Oh, come on.
[00:58:07] That's a lot of eggs.
[00:58:08] I think it was day nine.
[00:58:09] Wow.
[00:58:10] That's a good amount of eggs.
[00:58:11] I didn't know that.
[00:58:11] I was shocked.
[00:58:11] I don't think it's like a bad deal.
[00:58:14] Like that's pretty good.
[00:58:15] Oh yeah.
[00:58:15] You got 15 eggs?
[00:58:16] Yeah.
[00:58:17] So I looked up the nutritional information.
[00:58:19] Oh.
[00:58:20] Okay.
[00:58:20] Numbers.
[00:58:21] Love it.
[00:58:21] And so the three chickens divided by five people is that like, it's like about a thousand
[00:58:29] calories each person.
[00:58:31] And then they 18 eggs for five people was only like, like 250 calories per person.
[00:58:38] So they, they ended up trading down, but it did seem like a pretty generous and easy
[00:58:43] exchange.
[00:58:44] They're still at a calorie deficit.
[00:58:46] So if you're, I mean like the, the merge is about to happen.
[00:58:49] Right.
[00:58:50] And that's going to get dispersed as soon as you hit the merge.
[00:58:52] So it's like either you're going to pound 18 eggs, like no problem.
[00:58:56] Or like, right.
[00:58:57] That, well, how big of a mistake was it to not make the fire before they went to the challenge
[00:59:02] where they could potentially lose the flint.
[00:59:05] It's mind bogglingly idiotic.
[00:59:07] What were they doing?
[00:59:08] Honestly, we, we never came back from a challenge and didn't have a fire going.
[00:59:13] Like what were they thinking?
[00:59:15] They're probably thinking they might win or that they could just do it with like, don't
[00:59:20] people do it with like sunglasses and like sticks and shit.
[00:59:23] No one's thinking that.
[00:59:24] I don't think sunglasses are ideal.
[00:59:25] I'm only thinking that on survivor.
[00:59:27] But Rob, I know we're going to wrap this panel.
[00:59:29] We would be remiss to have a legal panel here, not to talk about the lawyer on this season
[00:59:34] who is absolutely crushing it.
[00:59:38] Oh yeah.
[00:59:38] And who's just, I mean, what an extraordinary breakout last two episodes Genevieve has had.
[00:59:45] Shout out to Genevieve.
[00:59:45] Representing the lawyers.
[00:59:47] Representing lawyers doing us so proud.
[00:59:50] Please do better than us.
[00:59:51] Please do better than us.
[00:59:52] Slow start.
[00:59:53] And now Genevieve is kind of killing it.
[00:59:55] Killing it.
[00:59:55] Killing it.
[00:59:56] Rushing it.
[00:59:56] Slow start, but coming on strong these last two episodes.
[00:59:59] Does anybody want to play the shot in the dark before we start to wrap things up?
[01:00:04] Eliza, do you want to try it?
[01:00:06] Jake.
[01:00:06] Do you want to try it, Eliza?
[01:00:07] I feel like it should be you, Jake.
[01:00:08] Wait, I'm going to do it.
[01:00:08] Yeah, Jake can do it.
[01:00:10] Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake.
[01:00:13] Okay.
[01:00:13] I thought you loved these new era twists so much you might want to give it a shot.
[01:00:18] You know what I mean?
[01:00:20] I thought you were just listening at home.
[01:00:20] For those who were just listening at home, there was a really big eye roll.
[01:00:23] Huge.
[01:00:25] Okay.
[01:00:26] Jake?
[01:00:28] Why did Tony Vlacos sneak into the NBA Hall of Fame?
[01:00:32] Why?
[01:00:34] So he could spy Shaq.
[01:00:36] That's with a Q.
[01:00:36] Like Shaquille O'Neal.
[01:00:37] Oh my God.
[01:00:39] I really got that.
[01:00:39] I wrote this, Rob.
[01:00:41] Okay.
[01:00:41] All right.
[01:00:42] Well, all right.
[01:00:45] We're, we're, okay.
[01:00:46] All right.
