[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_07]: compared to the satisfaction we have watching Survivor 46 so far as the mess keeps on messing

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_07]: and somehow this episode ended up being a rerun of the previous two episodes in the best way

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_07]: possible as we are here to see Venus fall out of orbit and perhaps talk about another star

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_07]: taking her place. We have a motley trio in today to break down everything.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Of course let me welcome in somebody who would lovingly call me her sweet messy little friend

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_01]: at Isliana Boris. Isliana how are you? Yes I would absolutely call you that. Look I'm ready,

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just like Jeff. I've got my butt seat pad ready. I did forget the licorice though I hope

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_01]: that's okay although Twizzlers red vines very curious to know so Mike hopefully you can get

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_07]: I'd be more on board for that but I don't want to break this podcast up like they had

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_07]: to break up that one piece of licorice to give out we have a very exciting guest to bring in I'm so

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_07]: pumped to officially bring the crown in for the pixel queen herself. We're celebrating a belated

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Mother's Day because she is a mother of Survivor 44 and she officially ate more worms than the

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_07]: number of idols played on season 46 it is from Survivor 44 Jamie Litterwies Jamie how are you?

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm doing so I'm so happy to be here thank you for having me I'm excited I'm actually really excited

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_02]: to hear that it was a red vine I had no idea that it was red vine and not like licorice or

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_02]: like a twizzler. Twizzler is like sweet plastic. That's a great way to describe it better than my

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_07]: existential emptiness yeah yeah sweet plastic yeah so I'm glad that like Jeff and Jeff doesn't

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_07]: like licorice either he confirms so I don't know who this was why or where this idea came from

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: but like then why licorice of all like there's so many candies that you could have they're like

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_07]: movie candies why licorice they are on an island like there's oh that list runs significantly

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_07]: thinner right special delivery for dots yeah I guess I I do wonder what his like perfect

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_07]: movie food would have been because I think that's sort of the the list he was moving down right I

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_07]: don't know we talked about this with Franny Jamie how would you have felt if Jeff started eating

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_02]: licorice in front of you? I would have said the same thing like are you gonna share because

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like your mouth you are so hungry and at that point it's like eating in front of you I mean

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I remember being on the island and you're so hungry that you can actually smell what

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_02]: the cast and crew had for lunch it's like I think you might have had Pad Thai for lunch

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure but when you especially if you're really close to like a cameraman anyway I I I

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_02]: definitely I know that we all would have begged for a bite of whatever he had

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah at that point you're like I don't care I will eat empty plastic candy

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_02]: that means getting a bite of something to eat yes yes I love that Ben grabbed it and just

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_02]: started sharing it right away it's like yeah well they picked the perfect person to give it to

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_07]: because imagine like Q would have been like looking Liz dead in the eye as he stuffs it all in his

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_07]: mouth Maria would have like given half to Q and then would have been like all right the rest of

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_07]: you play odds and evens to figure out who's gonna get the other half right exactly that's

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_07]: like how Q ate 23 slices of pizza and he still gets one seventh of licorice

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_02]: how are people letting this man eat so much it Q gets away with a lot of the island apparently I

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_02]: mean obviously it is insane and the way that he was biting that pizza it's like one bite was a

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_07]: supernatural at this point because like yeah 23 slices of pizza is three pizzas I don't think I've

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_07]: ever heard anyone do that in their lives it feels like the digestive tract is only so long

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_01]: is it like don't like competitive eaters have like 56 hot dogs in like 20 minutes

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess so I have to imagine and what they did look to Jamie's point they looked small enough

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: right that like they're not these massive full giant slices of pizza so maybe it was manageable

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_01]: he's no Joey Chestnut but still I think Q could do it yes I'm always curious on how people feel

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_02]: because I remember it's like you're eating but then going zero to 100 with pizza or whatever

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_02]: it is you know during our merch pieces like really rich like salami and cheese you don't really feel

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_02]: very well afterwards so it's like it's almost like a reward is kind of not a reward maybe that's what Maria

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_07]: was going for and wanting to bring Q she's like no I actually want to poison him we talked about

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_07]: this last week right Leona of like oh the secret sabotage it is that's next level strategy really

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: because then they're gonna be away going to the bathroom the entire time so if you need to talk

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: game with somebody like let them go take him to the reward and then feed them well yeah you'll never

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_01]: see Q again right off of the ocean yeah well let's take a bite out of this episode because

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_07]: all right so Jamie survivor 46 went out to play like five days after your season finished

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_07]: and so I think I should be saying thank you because for whatever reason the lesson that this cast

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_07]: communally took from your season has produced all of this malarkey that we've experienced over the

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_07]: past like at least month and a half if not the entire season I gotta get all your thoughts on

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_02]: survivor 46 so far yes I'm loving survivor 46 I mean is it my favorite season of the new era

[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I really think it I mean 44 yes but I love 46 it is insane they took notes and they won up

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_02]: they're so charming they're so entertaining and I want to know like I want everybody to have their

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_02]: own cam so I can like see what's Venus doing what's you know what's Hunter doing and it's

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_02]: it's been so fascinating to watch and I do kind of keep that in mind I'm like okay so they saw

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_02]: our finale they know 44 so I've kind of kept that in mind on like their gameplay but it is

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_02]: just it's pure chaos I thought 44 was chaos but they have redefined chaos in the best way possible

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_02]: because it's like you really don't know what to expect and it's like they're either playing

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: really really brilliant or really really just like is it controlled chaos I don't know at this point

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like I mean you throw Q in there and he's just going to create a chaos that if anybody can

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of wrangle him then it's it's impressive you know and and and as I'm looking at like the final

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_02]: seven final six now it's it's just been a very great season and I don't know how it's

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_02]: and I'm so excited but I'm glad that they took notes from 44 and kind of you know they did us proud

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_01]: well I love that you mentioned Q is one of the instigators of chaos because I feel like

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_01]: he obviously major major player when it comes to all of the like wackadoo stuff that's going on

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_01]: but it almost feels like now it's other people's time to shine the fact that Maria did rock

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_01]: like Maria the person who I did not expect to be chaos all of a sudden who does a rock

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: paper scissors for a reward like I could not believe and then not on top of that but then

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_01]: the people that she chose to play rock paper scissors right so there's like multiple layers

[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_07]: of chaos well all in this episode not only that like I totally agree I think the common

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_07]: perception going into this episode was like wow there's a lot of kooky characters but thank

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_07]: God Maria and Charlie are there they're the only normal people who are doing the correct strategy to

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_07]: keep the ship straight and then Maria first off wins an immunity that she doesn't realize she probably

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_07]: had to because Charlie decided finally you know what it's been long enough since I've decided

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_07]: to turn on my number one ally I think I'm gonna do so as well and then when she does it's not

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_07]: just to your point Leona rock paper scissors it's not just completely yeah leaving out like

[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_07]: there's a one person who hasn't eaten something in the past few days in Venus is also the fact that

[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_07]: apparently she took the equivalent of a dog year to think through how to do this and that

[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_07]: that's the conclusion she came to that she gave a significant pause to just mull over her choices

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_07]: and she said I think I've settled upon the best option and the option is no option I think

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_07]: you too should fight for it after after she said I'm gonna make this final tribal council right now

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_07]: can you all pitch me as to why I should take you on the reward that was that was insane

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_02]: especially for Maria I was surprised because she seems very calculated and methodical with

[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_02]: everything that she does so for her to kind of stand back and it was a lot longer than obviously

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: we saw it was surprising because it just it it felt it didn't feel like Maria ish it felt like Maria would

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_02]: have gone into it and known like hey this is who I want to take and had some kind of strategy behind

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_02]: it but she just kind of left it I think that I think when people do that it's almost like they

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_02]: are letting their emotions take over and they can't help it because they're thinking about

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_02]: everybody else's emotions obviously you know taking that long I'm surprised that there

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_02]: wouldn't have been like a timer you know Jeff kind of referring that

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah I mean what do you what do you do in that situation it's like you can and you will from Jeff

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: to Maria I think that I mean obviously okay Jamie you're maybe the perfect person to

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_01]: ask about this but like before a reward right like would you think about okay if I were

[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_01]: to win this like who would I pick like do you plan it out ahead of time so at least if you

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_01]: are in that situation you're not like complete deer and headlights you've actually had some moment

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: to think about it beforehand because it's not like that's gonna change all that much because

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_02]: of the challenge right yeah I think you do kind of go into it especially even in the morning when

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_02]: we get our tree mail you're guessing what it's going to be reward and more immunity plus reward

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_02]: and you go into it kind of knowing what it's going to look like for you if I win and then

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_02]: also you know who else do I want to win if it's not me because I want to go on that reward

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_02]: and so I can't imagine that she wouldn't have been thinking that

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_02]: pre even starting the game so I think that is something that you definitely think about

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_02]: before you before the game even starts you know you're that morning you already have it planned

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_02]: out I would I would hope so but in Maria's case unfortunately not well maybe though

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_07]: here's a theory that I have oh because listen we know that Charlie has been trying to like

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_07]: realize okay Maria's taking all the credit for this this is her move I think he said like I was not

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_07]: at the the captain's table or whatever analogy he decides to use notably when Maria is

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_07]: deliberating on who to take Charlie's like I'm out I'm gonna cue it right now don't pick me

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_07]: for this what if what if Charlie did this because he knew he'd be an easy out for Maria

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_07]: that maybe Maria did think over ahead of time who am I gonna bring and she's like I'm gonna bring Ben

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_07]: and I'm gonna bring Charlie I'm gonna bring my boys they can go to Applebee so we could use

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_07]: us as an excuse and did Charlie purposefully or not be like nope the easy option's gone now

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_07]: you're gonna have to now pick between uh you know that worst-case scenario final

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_07]: three of Q Liz and Venus to figure out who's going to go alongside you that's a great that I think

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_02]: that Charlie is smart enough to be thinking that far ahead and he's been kind of hiding behind Maria

[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_02]: anyhow as he mentioned that's been his gameplay and it really we really saw it this episode him

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_02]: wanting to differentiate his game and then knowing that he needs to control the visibility

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_02]: and the perception that everybody has of him and by taking himself out of that and putting the

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_02]: pressure on her it it kind of grows her target even more which is kind of what he's been trying to

[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_02]: do in the first place and I love that for him because he's he knows how important it is especially

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_02]: when you have like a number one that you're working really closely with to build the

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_02]: relationships outside of that so that everybody around you especially once you get to like

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_02]: seven finals six it's like everyone you're playing with needs to believe that you are going to the end

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: with them and by him doing that it's just setting that up for him so well now after this episode I

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_02]: um I was so impressed by his tactfulness in doing that and really he and Maria have both

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_02]: displayed such finesse with the moves that they've had to move or had to make like uh the the

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Tiffany vote I mean it's just been brilliant to see the way that they've had to keep certain people

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_02]: out of the boats and how they made that happen I'm so I'm proud of Charlie though for kind of stepping

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_02]: outside of this and we're really hearing a lot more of his perspective um in that duo than

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_02]: really Maria I know she's taking a lot of the credit but with the way that he's explaining

[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_02]: his positioning of it it's like he's moving the chess pieces so it's cool to see I think for Charlie

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_01]: in a season of unexplained decisions to hear somebody cleanly articulate this is what I'm doing

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: this is why I'm doing it and this is my plan is just really nice to see now him stepping out

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_01]: of the decision from Maria I don't know Mike that might be a bit of a stretch I'd love to

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_01]: think that that was the case but it did feel like I mean maybe I'd have to rewatch it again now with

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_01]: that like idea in my head but it did feel like a direct response to something that Maria had said

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_01]: and like Kenzie stepped out immediately right afterwards so I don't know but maybe maybe you're

[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_07]: on to something Mike well we talk about Charlie's decision let's talk about the fact that yeah

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Charles was in charge in this episode uh because he was the one seemingly on the surface to

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_07]: decide okay there's three people voting Venus there's three people voting Q and I'm in the middle

[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_07]: and he ultimately chooses and everyone kind of goes along with it with one exception I will get to

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_07]: that in a little bit I'm actually very happy we're recording on Monday because there might be some

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_07]: breaking news with regarding to that but he decides to vote out Venus and it seems to be

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_07]: and according to Venus proper due to this confounding at best and I say lovingly but

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_07]: confounding at best conversation where Venus has an idol yippie collo collay Venus has found

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_07]: an idol Twitter's dreams are coming true she's like I'm not gonna tell anybody and technically

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_07]: she did it but she goes to Charlie and hints at it in the worst way I think I've maybe ever seen

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_07]: on survivor which is uh don't worry about it I've got a little something up my sleeve

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_07]: I've got something to back me up I'll tell you about it later which I think understandably

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_07]: just sends this man scattering now Jamie look it was a bit of a different but similar situation

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_07]: for you you had an idol you thought you did that you held on to for a long time talk from

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_07]: like the Venus perspective how difficult is it to either not share that information or

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_07]: like try to share it with select parties and hope it doesn't get out well ideally you don't want to

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_02]: share it with anyone and so if somebody spoils it like in my case where Matthew told everyone oh I have

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_02]: an idol an idol it was you're always trying to convince people otherwise and it's like you either

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_02]: admit it or you don't and so as much as and and this season specifically with Tiff as soon

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_02]: as her idol went public it's the worst thing ever it's really at that point because I I really believe

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_02]: you can win this game without an idol and without winning any immunities if you have a solid social

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_02]: game you you can win and that just becomes pageantry and distraction when there's these

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_02]: idols and these wins and all this it just grows targets that don't need to be there

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_02]: but if you can build a social game without having to even leverage that at all which I think she was

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_02]: trying to leverage that by sharing it with Charlie in just the worst way possible because

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_02]: then it's like we've never really connected why would you share this information and if you're

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_02]: going to share at that point if you're going to say hey this is going to be ours to use

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_02]: then you need to just be honest and say hey this is what I did this is how I found it but

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of trying to secretly say I have something or like something's going on that you don't know

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_02]: about it's like you're just giving like desperate at that point like you're desperate for like wanting

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_02]: to create a social bond that you obviously do not have and so it was just really a telltale sign of

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_02]: her social strength within the game she was kind of trying to throw everything at at the wall and

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_02]: for Charlie I know he took it as a red flag as he should because it was kind of like out of

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_02]: nowhere why would this be the case especially when everybody is doing a this public search and now

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_02]: that is I mean logically really the only thing that could it could be you know he asked like oh do

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_02]: you have an advantage and it was just kind of a weird interaction but that was like a telltale

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_02]: sign of her socially being weaker I think then um you know but but then it's like why wouldn't

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Charlie then see that but I think though at that point anyone that hears idle it's like oh my

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_02]: idol threat that's going to prevent me from getting to five four three or five four so I think at that

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_02]: point idle is just target easy to get out and easy to sell it to everybody else as like that's our

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_01]: ideal person to get out I think also something to keep in mind is when you reveal in the game

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_01]: whether it be early or whether it be later and particularly given the situation of the person

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_01]: you're revealing to so for example Charlie sees himself in the power position so anyone who

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_01]: has a tool particularly at final seven final six that's a huge threat because he is making a plan

[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_01]: for how he wants it to move forward that's something that's outside of his control and because he has

[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_01]: the numbers then why would he want he doesn't need that right there's no advantage for him to keep

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_01]: that piece in the game so it makes sense to get to get her out at that stage now she were to

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_01]: do it like let's say early Charlie's on the bottom and she hints at it okay maybe that is

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_01]: someone worth keeping because you want to see how that evolves you want to see okay yeah I want to

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: keep you in for the mystery like we still plenty of game to go let's see what you have up your

[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_01]: sleeve like I want to know you know um so it was really like the worst of all worlds at this

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_01]: particular like it was the worst strategy the worst timing it would just uh when she started

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_01]: to reveal it my heart just like sank it was like no don't do it to be fair she felt that way as

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_07]: well she told me that in the moment as soon as she's saying it her brain's like what are you doing

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_07]: abort abort which is not a good idea I mean so for for what it's worth I think and this is a bit

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_07]: emblematic I think of just Venus's position in the game in general to your point Jamie was that

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_07]: like from her perspective she was trying to make a collaborative point but it came across very

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_07]: independent where she was trying to pitch it as hey to you know to your point Leona it was

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_07]: the exact opposite of what you were saying of like oh you have this thing to get in your way of

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_07]: getting to the final five final four she was trying to say no let's use it to help both of us get to

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_07]: final five to get to final four but again the way it came across was like oh no no you keep me and

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_07]: times this season right Venus is chaos Venus is mess she runs around all the time spreading

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_07]: names she doesn't trust anybody nobody can trust her and so when you're going forward and

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_07]: you're doing this and playing up like oh I want to work with you but I'm not going to be forthcoming

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_07]: with any information and here's something I might use against you doesn't that just confirm the point

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_07]: doesn't that just set home this narrative of like you know what it almost is like honestly as

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_07]: messy as this was it's almost comparable to like what happened with Sammy in Survivor 43

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_07]: which was at the same stage it was at seven we're kind of despite it being a divided vote

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_07]: last time everyone kind of came together and said none of us can trust Venus right so let's

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_07]: all get rid of her and as a result it seemed like everyone she immunally if you will join together to

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_01]: get rid of her yeah yeah well did Charlie tell anybody else about what Venus had said like did he

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_01]: then go to like Kenzie and be like look I understand you want to vote on Q but we have to get rid

[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_01]: of Venus because she's like alluded to this thing do you know what happened he told Ben

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_07]: and from what we've seen this is the conversation where Charlie's like Venus said that I'm totally

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_07]: fine go into the final four with you and Ben and one other and big goes of course because she's a

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_07]: poser Ben's you know insult in his lexicon and then he does tell her what happened and Ben Ben

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_07]: kind of come from this odd angle of like oh well she's just saying anything to be safe and so we

[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_07]: need to get rid of her right yeah yeah yeah yeah give me give me your take on everything

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_02]: with Venus because so it's nice to say a lot to discuss yes I think Venus is oh I think that it

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Venus had a way to the end if oh my gosh well obviously she would have played the idol but if

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_02]: she could have rallied in and worked on her social game a lot more than than we saw because

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_02]: it seems like every episode she was like trying to build something up like with this she wanted

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_02]: to rally in Kenzie like they were laying the boat saying hey it's okay that we were left out out of

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_02]: the boat or out of the boat last episode but if we can get together it's like it was almost like

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_02]: it was too late each episode for her to want to build these relationships it's like she needed

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_02]: to have a solid um she just didn't have a solid social game and I think that with all the

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_02]: chaos that she had going on had she had a solid social game to back her up it would

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_02]: have been fine to play with that kind of chaos because that's fun and you know you can't really

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_02]: keep up and then it's like okay you can make it to the end with with the other um with everyone

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_02]: else in the game though I am surprised though that knowing what chaos she was and knowing that

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_02]: it's this far into the game why wouldn't they just keep her around at that point because it's

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_02]: like you know what can she do outside of you know Q's pitch was that she might win

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_02]: but I don't know I think at that point in the game it's like it was almost an even playing field

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_02]: for everyone that's still in there um for the next couple of immunities so I don't think that

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_02]: that's a fair point from Q but I think though that it is just a sign of her social game not

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_02]: being there and especially with everybody's um perception and reception of her throughout

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_02]: the game I think that's kind of what um what made it easy for it to be a collective choice to

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_02]: about her out and especially when they say or when Charlie um had that conversation and brought

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_02]: it up as the idol being that final I guess straw that broke the camel's back for her and um but

[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I I am surprised though that um for Venus she her rhythm the game were accurate but it wasn't like

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_02]: she was moving any of the pieces it's like she just always had the information because she would

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_02]: insert herself in many situations and in the one episode she made it very obvious that she

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: was going to insert herself but she was always privy to a lot of information which is great and

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_02]: that's why she made it so far but she didn't have the power that she needed to make it to make moves

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_02]: and so information is great but if you don't have power and power is gained through social strength

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_02]: so if you don't have social then you're not going to make it anywhere in that game and I think

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_02]: that's kind of what she was up against there especially towards the end and having the idol

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: it was just an easy out for everybody to say hey this is what we're doing so it was kind of um

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_02]: kind of surprising because I think that if you look at what's coming up next you know fire I think

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_02]: you know anyone could beat her in fire I just think that it was well she did catch on fire so maybe

[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: that actually is a benefit for her right yeah so I definitely think that um the final six now

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_02]: coming up with you know Charlie and Maria having really the power to me when I see the final six

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_02]: it's like they need to I'm hoping that they can attack each other this next episode because that is

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's a very very real possibility so maybe it kind of worked out for for charlie we'll

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_01]: if he can get out either q or maria then maybe he's in a really good spot yeah I don't think it's

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_07]: how well especially like I could understand maybe from a tiffani perspective people didn't

[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_07]: confirm that hunter had an idol he had just gone around last minute spreading the information so

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_07]: maybe you thought like okay the last gasp of a dying horse we don't actually think he had an

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_07]: idol tiffani was all but confirmed to have one and you saw her walk into tribal council under

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_07]: the guise of a plan of an easy vote for q she doesn't play her idol and she gets voted out

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_07]: I just do not understand how you walk into this tribal council with an idol and say now I think

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_07]: this easy plan against q will surely work this time around I mean it's unprecedented never in the

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_07]: history of survivor have we had three people voted out with idols in a row it is astoundingly

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_07]: delicious to me and I think speaks towards yeah and I say this with love I think the the ego

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_07]: centricity of this cast in particular where we talked about this with like you know Liz talking

[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_07]: about how she wanted that that soda move and so she decides to take out tevin because of it

[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_07]: I really do think this cast has this motto of like well it didn't work for them but it's gonna

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_07]: work for me I'm pretty sure I could pull off what they can't yeah and they've been really vocal

[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_02]: about like wanting to take credit for moves and it's like wanting to take credit for moves but

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not hearing how they are able to formulate a move leveraging their idol and making a big

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_02]: splashy move with that instead everybody just walks out with it and for Tiffany she already

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_02]: pressed her luck once by not playing it and nobody no one batted an eye and then for her to twice oh my

[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_02]: gosh I was screaming at the TV that episode like why but they are so brave and bold and courageous

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_02]: and confident yeah and I think it does speaks to a lot of the finesse like that kenzie had with

[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_02]: hunter and then that um uh who somebody was comforting tiff um I but who has charlie charlie was

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_02]: doing it charlie comforting tiff it's like that's like really great gameplay to have these major

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_02]: players go in with an idol which by the way tiff she mentioned it in an episode because I had the

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_02]: same thought she needed to just it's a public idol once it becomes public play it play it

[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_02]: publicly get rid of it publicly play it for someone for fun whatever you need to do but get rid of it

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_02]: because it's a huge target for you for the rest of the game people will be chasing chasing you

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_02]: because of that idol that you don't need to win the game and so better to just get rid of it

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_02]: throw it in the fire like whatever you need to do like make a big scene seriously because you

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_02]: don't if you really don't need it like you really don't need it and and everyone that's

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_02]: walked out with it it's just like they are very brave um for working so hard to find the idol and

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_02]: this tool that they really don't need but then to just you know let it let it go I know that's

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_02]: the worst thing and for it to happen as many times this season it is insane and it's like

[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_02]: really what you want to see it's like oh my gosh yes like you want to see blind slides in

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_02]: blind slides in Survivor you want to scream at the tv but the way that it's happened and

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I remember even like Tiffany I I I had a feeling that it was going to be here but I'm like no there's

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_02]: no way like she learned from the last one but it's like nobody is learning from the last

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_02]: tribal it's like they're going in and just making the same mistake it's insanity over and over

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_02]: and over again but it's fun to watch so good to just scream at the tv I love that's how you

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_01]: know it's a good episode I think for Venus when the theme of the season has been taking out your

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_01]: closest allies you know I think the like of course Charlie is gonna go for Q like he has to that's

[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_01]: what we've been doing that's the theme of the season oh they're gonna say Venus is closest

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_01]: ally as herself so of course she took herself out oh yes exactly well there you go she she's

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_01]: just thinking about this theme of the season obviously uh but I mean I think there's like

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_01]: a universe that I can understand Venus is thinking I'm not saying that it was correct or that she

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_01]: shouldn't you know obviously she should have played it and should have learned from going back to back

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_01]: and even just to be safe right like if you can just get yourself one more tribal council hopefully

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_01]: you're in a good enough position that you then it's you know you can use that to just survive

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_01]: one more day to make it longer in the game right so I I do like oh it was so frustrating

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_01]: that she didn't play it I though could could maybe understand the logic of like why it didn't happen

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_01]: but still devastating to see yeah and it's it's tough because again like the Tiffany vote there was

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_07]: this big public display that left Q in a bad light obviously this pizza thing it's not as bad

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_07]: as the applebee's debacle but at the same time like it still doesn't look great that hey Q gets

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_07]: to go on this thing again and you know all the the consternation that was is thrown towards him and

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_07]: he's getting everything that he wants so again I understand if like Venus had this in her mind

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_07]: said especially like I imagine when you're already planning ahead it's tough to sometimes see what's

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_07]: right in front of you of like oh no I'm gonna go do this thing and then I'm gonna do this thing

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_07]: that she was so excited planning with her idol that she didn't realize I mean I am going to put

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_07]: out a bull prediction I think survivor 48 might set the record for most idol plays in

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_07]: survivor history just play it get it play get it play get it I think someone's gonna find an

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_07]: idol and go to the immunity challenge and automatically play it they're like Jeff I'm

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_07]: gonna play this right now playing this already if I go to tribal council I'm safe yes especially

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_02]: as my the most surprising one this season has been also hunter the way that hunter went around

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_02]: and was telling everybody it's like also by the way if you find an idol don't tell anyone

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_02]: literally don't tell anyone it is not worth it it's like and if you do then just play it

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_02]: that episode like play it that night at tribal I just I cannot believe how much the idol has

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_02]: really I guess just burned away in everyone's pockets it's just sitting down on the way out

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't imagine the reaction oh my gosh it's heartbreaking what I love about this cast in

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_07]: this season though is like like you're talking about Jamie these are such disparate personalities

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_07]: in particular for this group but they're all doing the same things and that is one of the many

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_07]: illogically beautiful things about this group is like you would think that Tiffany Hunter and

[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Venus are three completely different people with three completely different approaches to the

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_07]: game and three different personalities they all do the exact same thing down to the person they

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_07]: think is going to go is the exact same person like I still cannot yeah like I am obsessed with

[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_07]: the fact that for three weeks in a row for six days for a week in the game it's every day people

[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_07]: thought it's gotta be cute that's going and now every single time he doesn't go it is

[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_02]: hilarious like what are the odds and why isn't anyone reading between the lines I mean I just

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I cannot believe and I I feel so bad for Venus especially because she almost had that immunity

[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_02]: win as well it was so close I mean and this was her episode just the way that she barely lost

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and then you know having the idol and I always like to watch when people have the idol the you just

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_02]: have this like confidence you do gain a bit of confidence but if it is just blind confidence to

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_02]: the point where like you just won't play it especially after what's happening and especially when you

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_02]: don't have your social game like when you don't have a depth of a social game play the idol like

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_02]: just get I I could see it in Venus though like after she found and especially when she's going

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_02]: around you know with Kenzie she has that confidence but then it's like if that's all you have to if

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_02]: you don't have much to back that up then you end up where she's at but it was just uh everything that

[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_02]: could go wrong did go wrong for her and it was the worst the worst way and I hate to see your

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_02]: go because she was so entertaining and I loved watching her just kind of throw bombs I mean

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_01]: just like okay what's being it's gonna do yeah between her and Liz just like so much chaos out

[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_07]: there but in such a beautiful wonderful way you know I am obsessed with the fact that Nami is like

[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_07]: the most dominant tribe of the new era you know one of the most dominant tribes of all time

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_07]: only came in second place once finished in first place did a good name for the orange tribe

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Jamie in your honor its last remaining member is Liz

[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_02]: how I you know I was actually waiting to see if Liz gets a deal with Applebee's because the way that

[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_02]: she had it teed up and she I mean she said Applebee's like 12 times I'm like how much is Applebee's

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_02]: paying for this because this is fantastic okay I mean it was sanity the way that she had that whole

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_02]: scene and then the the the way that they showed the burger not be eaten I well my heart for Liz

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_02]: it was but I think Liz though at this point in the game you know what Liz doing it's she is

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_02]: she's there still and I know that she's wanted earlier on the season she wanted really really

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_02]: badly to have credit like everybody's trying to you know hey that was my idea this is my but at

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_02]: this point it's like she's sleeping while they're looking for the idol she's there I don't know

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_07]: I think that's next level considering that the idols this season have been making people do the

[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_07]: exact opposite thing I'm I believe those part I feel like also the best way to find an idol is to not

[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_02]: look at all that's the smartest thing to do it's the safest thing to do because now it's like if

[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_02]: you don't have an idol in your pocket you're probably not going home so she's setting

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_02]: herself up for success but I mean if she makes final three um you know she did it and we'll see

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_02]: because um yeah it's been it's been fun to watch Liz I've I I know that the her freak out with the

[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_02]: hunger the hanger hey she's very hangry um was it was almost like it was misunderstood

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean I can see it both ways because you are so hungry but I remember thinking like

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_02]: but you're playing this game like you know you're going out there yeah you knew what you signed up for

[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_07]: sounds crazy I think this is why I have so many fucking allergies because I've suppressed my own

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_07]: talk about three left turns of like I I I'm not I'm not I don't know where the logic is going at this

[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_07]: and you would never take me either I don't know if you saw what Liz was doing but like she said

[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_07]: and what the reason is behind it was she reacting to something else maybe she got some liquorice

[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_07]: yeah are they gonna have to take a trip to Oxford now is this a new tradition yeah exactly

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_07]: exactly Drew has to like indoctrinate them into the final six club yeah yeah it's exactly

[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_07]: that's our secret meeting place all right well first we do have to focus on the person we lost in

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_07]: seventh place and it is the aforementioned Venus I am so sad to lose her here I thought she was

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_07]: past 11 weeks but I think she was such electric television listen do I wish she had a better

[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_07]: more positive experience out there on the island absolutely that being said the entertainment

[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_07]: she was able to provide through said experience was so worthwhile I think so much of the unique

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_07]: vibes of this season that it was very cutting you know a little bit more visceral a little bit

[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_07]: more vicious as Jeff described can almost be represented by Venus in a manner of speaking

[00:51:03] [SPEAKER_07]: and she is such a unique character particularly when it comes to the new era that I just had

[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_07]: such a great time getting to watch her and then her also kind of representing her cause

[00:51:12] [SPEAKER_07]: towards the end as well I know that she wasn't like saying I'm going to represent all Iranian

[00:51:16] [SPEAKER_07]: women but I think her speaking a bit about how that crisis had informed the way that she was so

[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_07]: open in the game I think was amourable and also brought a really nice you know shade to the

[00:51:28] [SPEAKER_07]: game that she was playing as wild as it was yeah I agree it definitely added like that

[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_02]: perspective of like this is a game and she's gonna go out there and play as hard as possible

[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_02]: which she did and we love to see it because if everybody played like that I mean how how

[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I just I loved what she added to the game and I am sad to be here go but I think that

[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_02]: um and I do I do I hope that she's I hope that she knows how much everybody loves her because I know

[00:52:12] [SPEAKER_02]: on the island I don't know the ins and outs but um I know she has a big a large family

[00:52:21] [SPEAKER_07]: well Leanna all that being said how high were your prospects for Liz in the pre-season when we

[00:52:28] [SPEAKER_07]: were writing up our predictions uh why'd I say Liz I meant Venus who had Liz on the brain

[00:52:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm allergic to the word Venus now um well look I mean we're so being married to a

[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Persian we are very pro-Venus like very excited to see some representation on television um that

[00:52:48] [SPEAKER_01]: being said I was a little nervous for her first of all she's on she's very tiny adorably so

[00:52:57] [SPEAKER_01]: but in a situation where there's only six people on a tribe and tribe strength early on

[00:53:02] [SPEAKER_01]: is very valuable I was nervous for her so I did have her going at pre-jury and I wrote for her

[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_01]: that I know but I'm so happy I was wrong right like that's the benefit of being wrong on these

[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_01]: things yeah I can celebrate that so I said that Venus's analytical demeanor allows her to easily

[00:53:21] [SPEAKER_01]: see the early connections and divisions in her tribe her conclusion unfortunately for her

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_01]: is that she's on the outs of the power group of Soda, Liz and Tevin who I thought were all

[00:53:32] [SPEAKER_01]: going to be like BFFs um I said that they were for a hot second yeah for like one second

[00:53:38] [SPEAKER_01]: like the very first episode um Venus manages to scrape by the first Nami immunity loss with

[00:53:44] [SPEAKER_01]: her relationship with Soda but when Nami goes back to tribal her lack of challenge strength

[00:53:49] [SPEAKER_01]: leads to her being voted out I also said that Venus would spend a lot of time looking

[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_01]: for idols although never found one uh Venus really wanted to go on a journey but her tribe

[00:54:00] [SPEAKER_01]: nervous about her sketchy behavior didn't let her go her ally was Soda and her enemy was Hunter

[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_07]: okay interesting well uh listen you and I and Leona were much like Liz and Q we both

[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_07]: come from the same background and we both think the same things about Venus evidently uh

[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_07]: look I I loved talking with Venus but I too to your point saw that even early on like

[00:54:26] [SPEAKER_07]: her personality may not have vived with what was going on on Nami at the time which like listen

[00:54:31] [SPEAKER_07]: Venus is lovely but like they're singing camp songs and they're like laughing it up and

[00:54:36] [SPEAKER_07]: having a great time and we told we saw from the beginning that Venus was like no I want to

[00:54:40] [SPEAKER_07]: go do this now so I also had her going pre-jury I said that we early on get Venus talking

[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_07]: about her family's history immigrating from Iran and how that leads into her desire to become a

[00:54:51] [SPEAKER_07]: lawyer unfortunately that's uh shown early on because she is the second boot from the game

[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Venus has a tough time fitting into the present positive energy of Nami though she does make

[00:55:01] [SPEAKER_07]: a close bond with Soda after the latter clocked her in the pregame once Venus realizes the die is

[00:55:08] [SPEAKER_07]: cast against her she'll channel her best Courtney Yates and complain about her tribe members

[00:55:12] [SPEAKER_07]: both inconfessional and to their faces Venus gets crowned the biggest robbed g.ottis of the new era

[00:55:18] [SPEAKER_07]: as the twitter fandom used her to spearhead a campaign to get her onto a probable returning

[00:55:23] [SPEAKER_07]: season in survivor 50 okay did you know something before the rest of us if I did I didn't know it

[00:55:34] [SPEAKER_07]: her and much like Leon I said her closest ally was Soda and her enemy was herself

[00:55:39] [SPEAKER_07]: ah yeah so yeah I will again repeat what you said I love being wrong about these things uh

[00:55:45] [SPEAKER_07]: most of all because people exceed our expectations and Venus absolutely did here it's a lot like

[00:55:50] [SPEAKER_07]: Emily actually similarly thought she was going to be in a lot of trouble early on socially

[00:55:54] [SPEAKER_07]: was able to recover and make it to seventh place where they got booted surprisingly

[00:56:01] [SPEAKER_07]: so Jamie between us two who do you think was more on the money when it came to Venus

[00:56:07] [SPEAKER_02]: of which if we were making bets we would get no money from it yeah I'm gonna say Mike only because

[00:56:15] [SPEAKER_02]: the read on Venus being her own worst enemy I think that that's kind of what tripped her up

[00:56:23] [SPEAKER_01]: the most in this in her game yeah 100% I think that was definitely the case I think and even

[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_01]: like in her the the move that I think really got her eliminated this episode which was telling Charlie

[00:56:39] [SPEAKER_01]: like it was just her impulse you know what I mean like it was she just wanted

[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_01]: something she couldn't help herself so I think that's absolutely accurate oh and she was so excited

[00:56:49] [SPEAKER_07]: no again like it was and then when she had that dialogue with Kenzie being like oh I would

[00:56:54] [SPEAKER_07]: feel so bad if I was voted out with the light all in her pocket like I know the editors

[00:56:59] [SPEAKER_07]: had to use it but it didn't make it any less painful to watch it like her at her whole episode

[00:57:06] [SPEAKER_02]: like the immunity challenge that conversation I mean it was just everything that could go wrong

[00:57:12] [SPEAKER_07]: went wrong yeah how do you react to that Jamie because I don't look at listen the editor

[00:57:16] [SPEAKER_07]: certainly had fun with you sometimes immediately when it came to like you laughing about your

[00:57:21] [SPEAKER_07]: idol as it flashed in the lower third so like do you react to that stuff with like more

[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_07]: sympathy for the people that are involved in those types of edits yes but I think you have to watch it

[00:57:32] [SPEAKER_02]: as a viewer versus a player because you are not necessarily watching the game that you know

[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_02]: unfolded on the island and was happening you are watching the curated version of the story of

[00:57:46] [SPEAKER_02]: the final three and so if you can kind of really step into the character that you're built

[00:57:53] [SPEAKER_02]: that they built out of you and what you gave them and laugh with it like laugh with everyone I know I

[00:58:41] [SPEAKER_02]: like that you love and you can't let anything take any of that away so it's like yes I

[00:58:46] [SPEAKER_02]: sympathize with like people maybe you know like oh like the editors they just really took it but it's

[00:58:52] [SPEAKER_02]: like they're creating entertainment that's like hilarious and it's like I almost want to be like

[01:00:17] [SPEAKER_07]: do not leave in an okay place due to being the center of their own narrative and then

[01:00:21] [SPEAKER_07]: being presented a narrative in which your point Jamie you're really not it's gotta be such

[01:00:27] [SPEAKER_07]: an odd discordant thing because then it makes you question like no wait then was my read

[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_07]: of things different like am I ever way but then I think you having this fundamental digestion of

[01:00:39] [SPEAKER_07]: at the end of the day this is a version of the story that's being told not the version of the
