A legend, a legend.
[00:01:43] And one we will not soon forget, Jelinski.
[00:02:45] So as much as I would like to say that I was 100% certain it was going to be Jess, there was probably about 10% of me
[00:02:49] that knew it was going to be me.
[00:02:52] And I thought that because I knew how big of a threat
[00:02:55] I was just strategically.
[00:02:57] So the fact that Q was able to clock me did not surprise me.
[00:03:02] It did not.
[00:03:03] And obviously like being out misread you as a person? Yes. So that's what a challenge was obviously meant to be hard. And something that wasn't shown was Q and I were bonding
[00:04:20] about being from Memphis.
[00:04:22] My family was born and raised in Memphis
[00:04:24] and we moved out here to Vegas and they had me.
[00:04:28] Q lives in Memphis. challenge and over the best because in my mind I was certain that we were going to win immunity. I mean just looking at Seagull like our tribe was massive like I'm 6'4", Bono's 6'4", Q61, Tiffany's a strong girl, Jess played rugby like we and Bono was shredded by the way just wait I mean Bono was shredded just wait till you see him with the with his shirt off like this dude is
[00:05:43] we were a strong tribe so us losing immunity was a huge shock to me.
[00:06:43] Yeah, I mean, I wish I could give an answer to you. Um, I think, you know, just being out there and survivor,
[00:06:45] you've never done challenges like this before.
[00:06:48] So you don't necessarily know the best ways to get this completed.
[00:06:52] Um, and with that being said, like pulling down on that lizard head
[00:06:57] while we were trying to get it over, that was actually making it worse
[00:07:01] because the lizard had kept getting stuck.
[00:07:03] And we didn't know that at the time until you look back and you're like,
[00:07:06] Oh, we probably should have lifted it up a little higher. OK, I want to talk about then you go on the journey and here you go and you go out there and you get stuck with the skull card. And now you're in the position to lie. You just talk through what? What did we not get to see about that interaction with Tevin and Maria?
[00:08:22] Yeah, so there was quite a bit you guys didn't get to see.
[00:08:26] Off the jump, I was like, what would you guys have done? And they said, I would have lied my ass off. And I was like, I don't know if that's necessarily the case because you're meeting all these people for the first time and you know eventually we're going to murder. So do you want to make 12 new enemies? I don't think so. It's a lot easier to say something before you do it. Even like a puzzle, for example,
[00:09:41] we were just now we're on the puzzle
[00:09:43] and it's a lot easier to say,
[00:09:44] I could have got that puzzle done,
[00:09:46] but you weren't on the puzzle. With Jess, yes, we could all tell that she was super sleep deprived and she couldn't even formulate a sentence at tribal. And that obviously made me feel great. I was like, man, this girl can't even talk, of course I'm gonna stay. But that was definitely my experience with Jess. That's what I'll say. I mean, but it's hard out there, those elements.
[00:11:00] I'd say a lot of the reasons I behaved, you don't want to go against the pack now Did you have any idea about Tiffany had the beware advantage and ultimately found an idol? I Had no idea and Kinsey and Q were very good at covering that up and hiding it against me I didn't even know about that until last night
[00:12:21] I was aware Tiff found the boot beware advantage, but I thought that happened on night four or day four and it genuinely means a lot. And I can't ask for much more than that. I'd rather go down flaming and memorable as a first boot than go out maybe like at fifth place and not be remembered. I don't know. Go bigger, go home. Yeah. Exactly. You came in as a student of the game. You said you watched every single season three times. What did you get wrong in terms of how you were looking
[00:13:42] at coming in versus how it actually went?
[00:13:46] So in Survivor, whoever you connect with, you connect with, and that's that. Bono and Jess kind of were the latter of that. If you thought that you could get out of the sweat task, do you think that you would have made it past the first tribal council? Yes. Okay.
[00:15:00] I do. That would have changed the entire he was a good sport about everything. So, uh, really happy to hear that. Interesting that he says that Q was the one who was more pushing to quit and that he went along with it. You know, I feel
[00:16:21] like that does make some sense because I feel like that when he throws the hourglass, uh, future Twitch contestant. Well, thank you so much, man. All right. Question number two in the Panamanian village on survivor Pearl islands who traded all their clothes besides underwear for their tribe gear. Rob Rob Austin. Austin Taylor is correct. You were at zero at it.
[00:25:42] We are tied zero zero. I'm back. Question correct. Uh, zero points. We talked about Mike white, Tanya, a great white boy, a lot of action for it to be a tide game. I know. You keep guessing things. You don't know. I'm waiting for new era. Old, old is tough. And this
[00:27:01] is the last, this is the last question of the old era. So't live it. I wasn't there for half of it either, Rob. So that's true. That's true. Why were my seasons off limits? You were there for the majority of your season. I could have included. I just didn't find any trivia that I wanted. You made a point and say, oh, don't worry.

[00:31:06] A member of the eventual final three received at least to bring it back and the listeners are like, Kayla's right. We want to bring back the verbal rebus. So the verbal rebus, a rebus puzzle is a puzzle where you have different syllables that are usually formed by pictures and you can figure out what the answer is based on the picture. A verbal rebus is when I read the clues, they're all survivor trivia related clues. The only wrinkle of this is that if you know the answer at any point, you can
[00:32:20] buzz it. And if you get it before the other person, you get three points. Unfortunately,
[00:32:24] Rob, you have been mathematically eliminated here. So here's the thing. So Dwight, you did get a hundred dollars for St. Jude, but you did potentially take away a hundred dollars from another worthy. Wait a second. Next week, the next week, it only, it only goes, it's only going to be a hundred dollars next week. There could be another great charity and you took the money away from them. Don't tell the person next week that, that you know that. Yes. Jordan, don't live in Mississippi, but the cost of living here in New York, too much, too much. What, what, what voice are you doing? I don't know. I think it's like Regis. What is this? I don't know. I think it, I think it is. I have turned into Regis on, on this podcast before. Oh my God. Who wants to be a hundred and all right.
