[00:00:09] Definitely some disgust. Gross!
[00:00:10] And I think a little fear.
[00:00:12] Really?
[00:00:13] But I'm also feeling these new emotions like anxiety, embarrassment, envy, and ennui.
[00:00:19] It's what you call the boredom.
[00:00:21] Okay, that one was weird.

[00:03:09] One last Club Condo before the lights come on for the finale.
[00:03:14] And I'm back here with Chappelle.
[00:03:16] Chappelle, how are you?
[00:03:17] Rob, we in the club.
[00:03:19] We riding slow.
[00:03:21] We're doing things that those other podcasters don't do.
[00:03:24] You know, we're back in Club Condo.
[00:03:25] Whatever happened to Danity Kane?
[00:03:28] Such a good question.
[00:03:29] They had a manager.
[00:03:30] He was awful.
[00:03:31] Yeah, very famous.
[00:03:33] I name drop that I know Danity Kane.
[00:03:36] That's very popular.
[00:03:37] So that's how people, one of the name drops that I do.
[00:03:41] Okay, not as popular these days.
[00:03:44] Okay. No, no.
[00:03:46] But. I'm sure they're in front of mind for some people though.
[00:03:47] Not for me.
[00:03:48] Yeah.
[00:03:48] All right.
[00:03:50] Here is a man always popular.
[00:03:52] Here he is.
[00:03:53] Let's bring in the world famous Mike Bloom.
[00:04:00] That was my dolphin noise.
[00:04:09] I was going to clip the Liz Dolphin noise.
[00:04:14] I wish I had it now.
[00:04:15] Oh my God.
[00:04:19] Yes.
[00:04:20] All right.
[00:04:20] Well, there's ever a sign that I do not belong in the water.
[00:04:22] That is it.
[00:04:23] To answer your question, Chappelle.
[00:04:24] I believe the the last gasp of Danity Kane was when Aubrey O'Day
[00:04:28] put her vagina on the back of Arsenio Hall's neck on that season
[00:04:32] of the Celebrity Apprentice.
[00:04:34] Was the final Adam of Danity Kane being smashed out of existence?
[00:04:39] Wow.
[00:04:39] Thank you.
[00:04:40] Sextina Aquafina for that.
[00:04:41] What an amazing madlib that was Mike.
[00:04:48] That's just the existence we live in and let's talk about the
[00:04:52] madlib that is Survivor 46, but it's the madlib where you're
[00:04:56] not very creative and you keep saying the same thing like, okay
[00:04:59] a hunter gets voted out with his noun, Idol, and then to get
[00:05:04] voted out with her noun, Idol, I guess.
[00:05:07] Yeah.
[00:05:08] Who are they going to target this week?
[00:05:09] Their number one ally.
[00:05:10] And who are they going to target next week?
[00:05:11] Their number one ally.
[00:05:12] If they can't get to the number one ally, they're going to
[00:05:14] target their other number one ally.
[00:05:16] I think we can figure this one out.
[00:05:19] I think they're putting the mad and madlib at this point because
[00:05:21] everybody is either very angry or losing their minds on this
[00:05:25] season. People just voting for who they want to, forgetting
[00:05:27] who they're supposed to vote for, spelling Venus, Q-ness,
[00:05:30] Q-skirt, any kind of way they want to.
[00:05:32] Q-nice, Q-niece.
[00:05:33] They've lost the plot here a long time ago.
[00:05:37] This is one of the craziest seasons just from a character
[00:05:40] standpoint. And now even from the strategy standpoint, we've
[00:05:43] broken records.
[00:05:44] We've created records.
[00:05:44] There's a lot going on here.
[00:05:46] It's either mad or go mad on Survivor 46.
[00:05:49] Yes, and not a gallon of milk a day.
[00:05:53] But we are going to talk about it all.
[00:05:55] We'll take your questions here.
[00:05:56] We're live on Monday, 48 hours and counting until we get to
[00:06:01] the finale. And we will have everything coming your way on
[00:06:06] Thursday with the post-finale interviews with The Final Five.
[00:06:10] Mike, what are you doing with your interviews?
[00:06:13] Same as you.
[00:06:14] I will be doing all the rounds the next day.
[00:06:17] You know, I would imagine there might be a gathering in a
[00:06:20] major metropolitan area that might have them in a certain
[00:06:23] state. But listen, this cast is kooky as we know on lack of
[00:06:28] sleep. So I imagine they will not be different.
[00:06:30] So yes, just like you, I'll be doing interviews with all
[00:06:32] five castaways on Thursday.
[00:06:33] What do you prefer?
[00:06:34] Because you've done it both ways.
[00:06:35] You've done it Thursday morning and then you also have
[00:06:38] talked to them on the phone on Wednesday night.
[00:06:40] It's tough because obviously, you know, when you talk about
[00:06:43] energy levels and perhaps, you know, vocal quality, I would
[00:06:47] say that talking to them when they're not screaming their
[00:06:50] lungs off after an evening is good.
[00:06:52] On the other hand, I also don't want to necessarily pull
[00:06:55] them away from their own activities, you know, certainly
[00:06:58] getting to talk with because Survivor 43 was the last time
[00:07:01] I talked to them the night of and, you know, obviously talking
[00:07:04] to people like Jesse, Owen, Cassidy and Carla actually, you
[00:07:09] know, not only in the midst of their own social gatherings,
[00:07:12] but also probably feeling a little bit raw with some wounds
[00:07:15] opened was an interesting slice of life.
[00:07:17] It almost felt like an echo of what Jeff is trying to go for
[00:07:21] with this after show, but I also do feel bad if like they
[00:07:24] legitimately have friends and family to get to and they're
[00:07:26] like, no, I'm going to scroll away to a corner of this bar
[00:07:28] for 15 minutes to talk to this absolute schlub named Mike
[00:07:31] Bloom. Chappelle, the post-finale interviews now could really
[00:07:36] just be go either way.
[00:07:38] You know, you sometimes you have people, you know, they're
[00:07:41] excited. They're ready to go, but you have also people that
[00:07:43] are like very hungover.
[00:07:45] They have no internet.
[00:07:47] They are like sort of like sleeping on like the floor of
[00:07:51] somebody's house.
[00:07:53] It's kind of the wildest high variance day of the Survivor
[00:07:58] press season.
[00:08:00] Right?
[00:08:00] Because you could get somebody coming in so hot that I'm so
[00:08:03] angry with the outcome.
[00:08:05] Crying.
[00:08:05] Yeah.
[00:08:06] Crying and all that stuff.
[00:08:08] But normally you just get people who are in a blur in a day
[00:08:11] of just so much happens in one episode where you know, you
[00:08:14] basically go through so many eliminations.
[00:08:17] You crown a victor.
[00:08:18] You do an after show people party all night or cry all night
[00:08:21] or cry and party all night.
[00:08:23] Cry to keep from partying and vice versa.
[00:08:25] And then they go and talk to you and then they talk to Mike
[00:08:27] and then they talk to 18,000 other people about the same
[00:08:30] thing over and over again.
[00:08:32] And then they finally get to look at their social media and
[00:08:34] then that's when the crazy happens.
[00:08:36] So yeah, they're in hell and you guys get to welcome them
[00:08:39] to hell, you know?
[00:08:40] First things they see when they come out of this whole whirlwind
[00:08:43] is going to be Mike Bloom and Rob Sestinito.
[00:08:45] Pretty sure that's in the Bible.
[00:08:46] Yeah, that's biblically accurate.
[00:08:47] Yeah.
[00:08:48] The two heads of Cerberus in the 10th circle of hell.
[00:08:50] All right.
[00:08:50] Exactly.
[00:08:51] There's been so much talk about the four blindsides or the
[00:08:55] four idols not played in a row.
[00:08:58] But you know, Jeff said something during this last drop of
[00:09:01] counsel that I thought was also interesting that Jeff looked
[00:09:05] over to the jury and said, look at these five people all blind
[00:09:08] sides and Q makes it six.
[00:09:11] Mike, have we ever had a season where the entire jury was
[00:09:16] blindsided?
[00:09:18] So I think from a post-merge perspective, I think a lot of
[00:09:20] comparisons that people are making, especially with idols
[00:09:22] being flushed is Survivor Mike Rhenesia.
[00:09:24] Yes, and that came pretty close.
[00:09:27] You know, Eliza obviously wasn't and I would say Natalie
[00:09:31] certainly wasn't. And she played her idol.
[00:09:33] And I guess, I don't know, was James blindsided by an
[00:09:38] infection?
[00:09:38] By God.
[00:09:39] Yeah.
[00:09:40] He was voted out with two immunity idols and then got voted
[00:09:44] out with a lack of immunity in a manner of speaking the
[00:09:46] next time around.
[00:09:47] But otherwise, it's been pretty much blindsides.
[00:09:50] I mean, I'm trying to think in Kaga-Yan, you know, I'm
[00:09:54] pretty sure like Jeremiah knew that he was on the chopping
[00:09:57] block, Tasha as well.
[00:09:58] So I think it's a rarity that we see this string of people
[00:10:03] going. And I don't know if again, this speaks to the viciousness
[00:10:06] that Jeff described to you in the preseason or how do you
[00:10:10] look back on that?
[00:10:11] Well, first of all, I look back at my mentions as like,
[00:10:16] like, check please.
[00:10:18] Mike Bloom tweeted on Sunday.
[00:10:22] Hey, so what do you think like that is this what Jeff is
[00:10:26] talking about when he said that this is the most vicious
[00:10:29] season ever when he talked to at Rob Sestronino and then
[00:10:33] I say I go on Twitter and I say, oh, four new notifications.
[00:10:37] Oh, maybe people are talking to me and they're just still
[00:10:41] like no worst cast ever to hate this.
[00:10:44] So like, you know, it's Chappelle.
[00:10:48] I'm in hell.
[00:10:49] Yeah.
[00:10:49] Yeah.
[00:10:50] Look, I not say I welcome you all to hell.
[00:10:53] Like right.
[00:10:54] I told you this is how this is how you get in.
[00:10:56] I don't know.
[00:10:57] I don't know.
[00:10:58] I'm enjoying Survivor.
[00:10:59] I think pretty much all Survivor for me is worth watching.
[00:11:01] So I don't really have a lot of complaints.
[00:11:03] Bring me more Survivor.
[00:11:04] If it's going to be crazy like this, at least it's
[00:11:06] unpredictable, right?
[00:11:07] At least it's not we know exactly how it's going to go
[00:11:09] from beginning to end.
[00:11:10] Nobody literally nobody.
[00:11:12] I don't care who you are can sit there in good faith and
[00:11:14] say, yeah, I saw this coming.
[00:11:16] You did not you did not see all these people going out
[00:11:19] and not one idol getting played.
[00:11:20] You did you just did it.
[00:11:21] I'm sorry.
[00:11:22] You're a liar.
[00:11:23] But to be fair to the people who are maybe new to the
[00:11:25] show. My family just started watching the show recently
[00:11:28] because I like okay now you could in a and like I've been
[00:11:31] watching the show my whole life and they've always been
[00:11:32] like, okay go watch a little show, you know, whatever but
[00:11:35] now they start to call and text me.
[00:11:36] Hey, why aren't these people playing their idols?
[00:11:39] And then last week I got a text message from one of my
[00:11:41] cousins and she said this is my first season, but I'm out.
[00:11:43] I'm out.
[00:11:43] I don't understand.
[00:11:44] I thought the game was I thought you supposed to play
[00:11:46] the idols.
[00:11:47] I said no just it's not like this all the time.
[00:11:49] I swear.
[00:11:49] I promise these people.
[00:11:50] These are these people are nuts ignore them.
[00:11:51] I swear.
[00:11:52] This is like the insane people that escaped the asylum,
[00:11:55] you know, that like that that still but we're going to
[00:11:57] get back to normal people.
[00:11:59] I promise so stick around with us y'all.
[00:12:01] I know it's easy to complain about the cast but weren't
[00:12:05] you complaining louder when Bono was here doesn't say
[00:12:06] wait, wait, there are high highs low lows, but I think I
[00:12:09] think just give it some time and we always have next season
[00:12:13] to look forward to and then even then we still have 50
[00:12:16] to look forward to so at some point you're going to be
[00:12:18] happy just right now suck it up buttercup now Chappelle
[00:12:21] did you only get your family involved because you finally
[00:12:23] heated Jeff's consistent beckon call of get your mom on
[00:12:26] Survivor like he has this very specific edict and it
[00:12:30] came up this week of hey, look to your left look to your
[00:12:34] right if one of those people is a mom automatically sign
[00:12:38] them up for Survivor and surprise them later.
[00:12:40] They'll be happy about it.
[00:12:41] Yeah, I text my mom.
[00:12:42] Do you want to sign up for Survivor and she blocked me
[00:12:44] so there's that yeah.
[00:12:47] Yeah, Mike.
[00:12:48] Did you think it was weird that they went back to like
[00:12:51] all season long?
[00:12:52] It seemed like they were making like new original calls
[00:12:56] to action that were happening right after the challenge
[00:12:58] but specifically after this one they went back to the one
[00:13:01] that they have used before about hey, does your ask your
[00:13:07] mom if she wants to be on Survivor here?
[00:13:10] Let me let me see.
[00:13:10] I think I had this is this one.
[00:13:12] All right, if you're watching Survivor as a family and
[00:13:14] your mom keeps saying I should do that show encourage her
[00:13:17] mom apply to be on Survivor.
[00:13:20] Yeah, which is weird because this came right after the
[00:13:24] challenge and it was before Liz explains in her loved one's
[00:13:27] letter.
[00:13:27] Hey, my daughter dared me to apply to be on the show.
[00:13:30] Yes, it was right after Maria didn't get her letters like
[00:13:34] what mom is like watch Maria not get her letters like that's
[00:13:37] it. I'm doing the show.
[00:13:38] I need that.
[00:13:39] I need to feel that.
[00:13:40] Yeah, I need to feel that pain.
[00:13:43] I just figured this was misplaced from Milf Manor which
[00:13:46] we're also covering here on RTP.
[00:13:48] It's the same promo on both shows like hey, if you're watching
[00:13:51] Milf Manor along with your mom say mom, what have you thought
[00:13:53] about applying for Milf Manor?
[00:13:55] Oh mom, you think this is so easy?
[00:13:58] Right.
[00:13:58] See if you can go out there and be a milf on an island, you
[00:14:01] know, and so that's exactly what they're doing.
[00:14:02] They've gone from Milf Manor.
[00:14:03] There's some cross promotion here for Jeff Probst.
[00:14:06] I don't know anybody's mom who shows up in season 49 and
[00:14:09] says yeah, I saw a promo that said tell your mom and I thought
[00:14:13] I'm a mom Jeff is going to lose his mind.
[00:14:15] So that's all he's looking for if your mom and you really
[00:14:17] want to play Survivor.
[00:14:18] This is the perfect time because they're begging for you to
[00:14:20] do it.
[00:14:20] Do you think that maybe Jeff Survivor or Milf Manor?
[00:14:24] Yeah, I mean, I think Jeff may have accidentally switched his
[00:14:26] scripts with the host of Milf Manor.
[00:14:27] Well, I'm assuming it's like there is no host of Milf Manor.
[00:14:30] No, they let the milfs run the island, you know, they just
[00:14:33] they do what they got to do.
[00:14:34] Shit with like disembodied narrator voice and so it does
[00:14:38] make sense because he's like he said all love is good love.
[00:14:41] Yes.
[00:14:41] Okay.
[00:14:41] Can I play this?
[00:14:42] It's a very milf coded language.
[00:14:43] So I was listening to Mike and Liana on the B&B this weekend
[00:14:48] and Mike you all were talking with Pooja, very fun podcast
[00:14:52] but everybody check that out.
[00:14:53] Okay, Jeff had a chance to go back into his family visit
[00:14:58] bag. Chappelle, I would love to get your reaction to this.
[00:15:02] I didn't think anything of it when I watched the episode,
[00:15:04] but I heard Mike reference this and I thought it was interesting.
[00:15:08] This is what Jeff says to Maria after she didn't get her
[00:15:12] letter.
[00:15:13] Maria, all love is good love but a parent's love is unique.
[00:15:20] It's like no other and that you created these people.
[00:15:28] I guess I I guess he's not wrong, you know, like you did
[00:15:32] create that person so you love them warm, but all love is
[00:15:35] good love.
[00:15:36] Where did he get that from?
[00:15:37] That's going to be in Julie Chen's Etsy shop where she's
[00:15:39] putting all her clothes.
[00:15:41] Got it from like an OJ's lyric or something like he's dipping
[00:15:43] back.
[00:15:44] I think that OJ say that Mike.
[00:15:46] Well, not that OJ.
[00:15:48] Did you like the Q said?
[00:15:49] I've got the juice.
[00:15:51] I did.
[00:15:51] I got the juice.
[00:15:54] Throw that in the game in a white Bronco.
[00:15:56] Yeah, but I think that I the thing is Chappelle factually
[00:16:01] he is correct, but he has a way of voicing it that makes it
[00:16:05] feel like he skipped out on every sex ed class that was
[00:16:08] offered to him.
[00:16:08] Great education where he used the term the verb.
[00:16:11] The verb choice is really the most key thing created.
[00:16:15] I mean, it's only a few degrees away from Gabler's infamous
[00:16:17] hatched use.
[00:16:19] Yeah, I came to him talking about his own children that does
[00:16:22] make me feel like we're getting back on the wagon a bit of
[00:16:25] like, okay is Jeff probes AI is he an alien that doesn't
[00:16:28] necessarily understand the concept of human love.
[00:16:31] No, he very much started talking about her as if she was
[00:16:34] Professor X and she was creating, you know, some type of
[00:16:37] like like assembling a team, you know, like oh, yeah, you
[00:16:40] created this you you know, but then I started to think again
[00:16:43] and it's like is it professor you Tony him?
[00:16:44] Did he like sugar and spice and everything nice?
[00:16:46] He literally created those the perfect little girls and
[00:16:49] then dropped in a little extra some those are the ones you
[00:16:52] love the most, you know, I'm saying so normal kids that are
[00:16:55] made through sex and procreation.
[00:16:57] You love them.
[00:16:58] But the one that you make in a lab, you really create those
[00:17:00] the ones that you just, you know, it really just put some
[00:17:03] elbow grease into those are the ones that you love the most
[00:17:06] love is all love is good.
[00:17:07] Love.
[00:17:07] I might get that tattoo Mike.
[00:17:10] I'm not going to question where you get that tattoo, you know,
[00:17:13] oh, you know where I'm getting that tattoo.
[00:17:16] Wow.
[00:17:17] Amazing.
[00:17:18] Yeah.
[00:17:18] So all love is good.
[00:17:20] Love and moms come out and apply for survivor.
[00:17:24] That's it.
[00:17:26] You think you're so tough mom?
[00:17:27] Let's see you not get your letter.
[00:17:29] I think they're tired of those conversations about you know,
[00:17:31] how the mom archetype doesn't do well like you can be the one
[00:17:34] to really break the curse on the mom archetype.
[00:17:37] It's a good what why are pit stop picking on these women leave
[00:17:40] them alone if they want to come out for the show they will but
[00:17:42] I really think that he's casting for the wrong show.
[00:17:45] Okay, Chappelle.
[00:17:45] Okay.
[00:17:46] I'm glad you brought this up.
[00:17:47] This is not not in my notes, but okay is the mom architect
[00:17:53] archetype about to be blown up or is the difficulty for the
[00:18:01] mom archetype about to be so back and we don't even realize
[00:18:06] it interesting.
[00:18:07] I will first use in mom architect and I thought oh Sylvia
[00:18:09] is finally the return to Survivor.
[00:18:11] There's the mom archetype a scoot right now.
[00:18:14] Yes, exactly.
[00:18:15] Non-orthogonal to the jury votes.
[00:18:16] Yeah.
[00:18:18] Yeah.
[00:18:18] So basically you're asking like is Maria on her way to like
[00:18:22] possibly becoming a zero vote finalist or could she possibly
[00:18:26] crush not even do I don't think there's any scenario where
[00:18:28] Maria's a zero vote finalist.
[00:18:29] Is Maria about to lose the game potentially to somebody with
[00:18:33] a less impressive resume or is Maria about to win the game
[00:18:40] and that we say see look at the moms the last mom that played
[00:18:45] the last person that played an idol correctly was a mom.
[00:18:47] It was Julie from Survivor 45.
[00:18:50] So if you really look at you know, the things on the board
[00:18:52] you say, okay, Julie played that I know she played the someone
[00:18:55] else's I don't even you know, so if you take Julie and
[00:18:59] Maria and say that they've done so well in this game, maybe
[00:19:02] people will start looking at the moms as real threats and
[00:19:05] this could be bad for future moms on the all mom season
[00:19:08] coming up that Jeff is trying to create now.
[00:19:10] You think what's interesting is that five people have gone
[00:19:14] home with idols in their pockets.
[00:19:16] None of them have been moms.
[00:19:17] Could it be that only in the hands of a responsible several
[00:19:21] of them were mothers Mike I have on good authority.
[00:19:24] Well, that's a Chappelle's point that Survivor mothers versus
[00:19:27] moms, which we can get in the offseason.
[00:19:29] Yes.
[00:19:30] Oh, that's so interesting.
[00:19:31] Wait there because when do you draw the line because we
[00:19:34] obviously know the Venus is childless but she is mother.
[00:19:38] But Maria is a mom but is she not mother see there's an
[00:19:42] interesting.
[00:19:43] Yeah, there's a just a sort of Venn diagram where like there's
[00:19:45] a little sliver in the middle.
[00:19:46] We're like Carolyn Weiger is the mother mom like she's the
[00:19:48] mother my eyes.
[00:19:49] Yeah, both categories.
[00:19:50] Three is mother and mom.
[00:19:52] Yeah, obviously.
[00:19:53] Yes, exactly.
[00:19:54] So I feel like Sandra mother and mother and mom.
[00:19:57] Yeah, mother and mom.
[00:19:58] You could start the mom Redemption Island and then they
[00:20:00] kind of draft themselves into whatever tribe.
[00:20:02] This is something that again, it's going to be a long offseason
[00:20:05] until 40 several but yeah, I mean to your point Rob, I don't
[00:20:09] see a scenario where she doesn't get any votes.
[00:20:14] But I mean, I can't think of anyone in recent memory and
[00:20:19] Survivor seasons who has had like as much of a downward slide
[00:20:23] in at least our perception as Maria in the past couple of
[00:20:27] weeks.
[00:20:27] What I love so much about Survivor is that going into like
[00:20:31] the final eight the final several we were thinking, okay, there's
[00:20:34] a lot of kookiness happening, but at least there's this solid
[00:20:37] cohesive bedrock of Charlie Maria and Ben.
[00:20:41] They won't succumb to the wackiness.
[00:20:44] There are normal people in this maelstrom of absolute mania
[00:20:48] see and then these past two episodes.
[00:20:51] We have Maria determining who gets pizza via rock-paper-scissors
[00:20:55] Maria and Charlie turning on each other as their number one
[00:20:57] allies Maria taking a shot and failing and Ben also genuinely
[00:21:02] pulls a sincere Natalie Anderson and writes down the wrong
[00:21:04] name like it's only inevitable that everyone does something
[00:21:08] absolutely off the wall in Survivor 46.
[00:21:11] Mm-hmm.
[00:21:12] And the only person who's kind of hanging out.
[00:21:13] It's like Charlie's just like hey, okay all this craziness
[00:21:17] going on with his allies, but he seems to be on the right track.
[00:21:20] I think knowing that he needs to cut Q at this point was great
[00:21:23] because if they you know, if Maria gets her druthers he's gone
[00:21:26] anyway, so he might as well take away her other number one.
[00:21:29] I like the people that are kind of remaining level-headed, but
[00:21:33] it's not as fun without these wacky people right like without
[00:21:36] these big crazy moves because for the life of me for the life
[00:21:40] of me, I cannot I do not understand how Maria could a good
[00:21:43] faith think that they were not going to vote for Q.
[00:21:45] I think she even told Q you're going to get votes.
[00:21:47] You're going to get a vote at least but I think you're going
[00:21:49] to be fine and I'm thinking when did we start that?
[00:21:52] What part of the game is that?
[00:21:53] Where we got to the point where there's only like five people
[00:21:55] six people left and you're like it's fine that people vote
[00:21:58] for me.
[00:21:58] I got an idol, but I'm going to keep it.
[00:21:59] I really just need somebody to walk me through how Liz who
[00:22:03] is gagging and not in a good way like literally about to vomit.
[00:22:06] Yeah, she's gagged because I believe she ate coconut accidentally.
[00:22:09] So she is gagging.
[00:22:10] Yeah or breathed.
[00:22:11] But yeah, she does not want to vote for Q.
[00:22:14] I mean to keep Q in the game.
[00:22:16] It makes her sick thinking about it.
[00:22:17] They even talk about at tribal council.
[00:22:19] I think Kenzie says Ben and Q are like my brothers who don't
[00:22:22] speak to each other.
[00:22:23] Like why do you think Ben would be with you?
[00:22:25] Who is this team of people who was about to vote out Charlie
[00:22:29] over Q Maria?
[00:22:30] I just need to know help me understand how we got here.
[00:22:33] It's been 20.
[00:22:33] It's 20 some odd days.
[00:22:36] I think Jeff has been right this whole time.
[00:22:38] The monster is eating these people alive.
[00:22:39] I don't know what it is, but it's gotten to the point where
[00:22:41] it's in control of Survivor.
[00:22:43] These they're just trying to make sure they don't run out
[00:22:45] of time because they're almost done with this season and everybody's
[00:22:49] just moving in all different directions and it's fun to watch.
[00:22:52] Yeah, I think Maria really fell in love with the idea of blindsiding
[00:22:57] Charlie and you know that the episode gave us that she was now
[00:23:02] fueled by okay.
[00:23:03] She didn't get her letters and she's fueled by this and she's
[00:23:06] going to make a move and now it's all about her and she's doing
[00:23:09] what's best for Maria and I guess that she felt like even though
[00:23:14] Charlie had been probably the person who had the better relationship
[00:23:19] with Kenzie and with Liz Maria felt like hey Charlie we can get
[00:23:23] him tonight and felt like okay, they're good.
[00:23:27] But when Maria was just really sold on this idea wasn't really
[00:23:35] stopping down to think about what was going on with Liz and with
[00:23:40] Kenzie.
[00:23:40] I pulled this clip.
[00:23:41] This was from when Maria was talking with Charlie when Charlie
[00:23:45] is like, hey, let's let's all vote out Q.
[00:23:48] You think we can get everyone to write Q's name down?
[00:23:52] Maria seemed to even question like, you think we can get Liz and
[00:23:57] Kenzie to write down Q's name and Ben?
[00:23:59] I mean to be fair again to the Mad Libs point has this not been
[00:24:05] the case the past three episodes of like you think we could get
[00:24:08] Liz to write down Q's name.
[00:24:09] She hasn't really written it down yet since the Hunter vote.
[00:24:12] She actively voted to keep him when he denied her Applebee's and
[00:24:16] she screamed at him with the ferocity of my opening sound bite
[00:24:20] and to that point, can I throw out a theory here?
[00:24:23] Yes.
[00:24:24] Yes.
[00:24:24] Could it be that as much as we are laughing at the idea of like
[00:24:30] all is finally dropped a deuce.
[00:24:32] She made the BM in the AM and now she's a brand new person.
[00:24:36] Let's not poopoo it entirely.
[00:24:39] Could it be that she has now emerged with a sense of clarity that
[00:24:44] is not too extemporaneous from the idea of getting a loved one's
[00:24:49] letter and now she sees the game for what it is.
[00:24:52] It's like I am a new woman.
[00:24:53] I have a lease on life.
[00:24:56] My digestive system is no longer blocked and neither will my path
[00:24:59] be to the final three.
[00:25:00] I've got to get rid of Q right now.
[00:25:01] Okay, I mean it makes sense to have some clarity at this point,
[00:25:05] but I think it's a little too late Liz.
[00:25:07] What are you doing?
[00:25:08] You know, you'd have to get out Q and Charlie and Maria to have
[00:25:13] a fighting shot at some votes because right now Q's taking up a spot.
[00:25:17] You have to get to him right now.
[00:25:18] You got to get Maria at some point but going to sit down next to
[00:25:22] Charlie in the end just seems very misguided.
[00:25:25] I mean there is the option to sit next to Ben and Kenzie, but even
[00:25:29] then I'm thinking Liz is this really your winning path?
[00:25:32] I think at this point she's just burn it all down.
[00:25:33] Just make a spectacle and see if you can't draw some attention to
[00:25:36] yourself so that you can win the game.
[00:25:37] She's tried it in the past and Q completely stomped all over her
[00:25:40] move.
[00:25:41] So yeah, I think now is a great time to start getting some clarity,
[00:25:44] but it might be a pinch too late.
[00:25:45] Okay.
[00:25:46] Well, all right Mike you brought this up.
[00:25:49] Let's let's just talk this through about Liz because Liz, you know,
[00:25:54] she told us last week.
[00:25:56] It's been three weeks.
[00:25:58] She had not been to the bathroom.
[00:25:59] She tells us this week not to make it about me, but I had a BM.
[00:26:05] I just dropped five pounds in weeks.
[00:26:13] It's been weeks.
[00:26:14] It's all been building up.
[00:26:15] And so here is here's the coup de grace.
[00:26:17] I feel you should tell even if she goes to the end with maybe some
[00:26:21] of the lesser candidates of a Maria and Charlie get taken out.
[00:26:23] Could she make the argument to win?
[00:26:26] The season's been all about props.
[00:26:29] I thought you're going to say big moves.
[00:26:32] Well, to that point, what if not unlike a mark the chicken situation
[00:26:39] Liz reaches into her bag?
[00:26:41] No.
[00:26:42] Yes, this is the weight that I have been carrying.
[00:26:48] This represents weeks of resentment of struggle of ire.
[00:26:54] I passed it.
[00:26:56] I moved on and I carry it with me proudly.
[00:26:59] It stinks, but so do we all.
[00:27:03] Wow.
[00:27:03] I mean that would make Marianne bringing out the idol look like
[00:27:08] nothing.
[00:27:09] Yeah, Mike, this is disgusting.
[00:27:12] Stop it.
[00:27:12] I think there's a nonzero chance like if people want resume moves,
[00:27:18] if someone brought a giant piece of poop to the one piece of five
[00:27:24] pound deuce, I thought you like it.
[00:27:26] I would give it some consideration.
[00:27:30] I think I'd have to think about it.
[00:27:32] I really I would have to think about it because that's what about
[00:27:34] commitment.
[00:27:35] Yeah, we love a good bit here.
[00:27:36] We do.
[00:27:37] So it's like if you're going to commit to the bid, I'll hear you
[00:27:39] out.
[00:27:39] I'm still not going to vote for you and also I'm probably not going
[00:27:42] to talk to you after this, but you know, I'll definitely show is
[00:27:44] canceled.
[00:27:45] I think at that point.
[00:27:46] Yeah, I think I was a survivor.
[00:27:49] Yeah, there's a clip in the preview of the finale where Jeff says,
[00:27:52] is this a joke?
[00:27:53] I think there's about a 75% chance.
[00:27:55] It's referring to when Liz brings her five pound poop to the final
[00:27:58] tribal council or maybe Liz reveals that she's not allergic to all
[00:28:01] those foods and she's just been using it for sympathy or something
[00:28:04] like so she just takes a big bite out of chicken, you know, yeah,
[00:28:08] I did it.
[00:28:08] Yeah, I'm rich and I eat.
[00:28:10] I've been eating this whole time.
[00:28:11] Lizard Soze of just like you all thought I was just a meek little
[00:28:18] girl who couldn't eat anything right?
[00:28:21] And now I can eat everything.
[00:28:22] I'm filthy rich.
[00:28:23] I'll let me get to the end.
[00:28:25] Now, give me what I deserve.
[00:28:27] I don't know.
[00:28:27] I think Liz is dead in the water.
[00:28:28] This is not going to be great for her.
[00:28:29] Maybe the pool thing though.
[00:28:31] That's different.
[00:28:32] It's inventive.
[00:28:32] It's imaginative.
[00:28:33] I don't write it off.
[00:28:35] I'm with Mike on this one.
[00:28:35] I'd see I like to see where it goes could be her story day 22.
[00:28:40] I went to the bathroom.
[00:28:43] That's our winner edit right there.
[00:28:44] Could that be her final tribal council speech of like, you know, I
[00:28:47] think Amber most or I think it was Nalia like most infamously said
[00:28:51] that she only started playing the game on day 15 or something.
[00:28:53] Let's say on day 22 everything changed when the fire nation attacked
[00:28:57] my butthole and I pooped fire nation little fire under her ass.
[00:29:02] Rob.
[00:29:02] You've never heard that impression.
[00:29:03] No, no, I have nothing weighing me down now.
[00:29:08] Okay, see Liz is a lot though.
[00:29:12] Liz is amazing.
[00:29:13] There are so many like I feel like Rob no matter what the outcome
[00:29:17] is. Can you do like an oops all Liz podcast?
[00:29:19] I don't want to put you into anything.
[00:29:21] Yeah, there are so many fantastic Liz B-roll moments the dolphin
[00:29:26] noise aside like she will always mouth something along with Jeff
[00:29:30] on the challenge like she's playing blues clues.
[00:29:33] There are times when she'll like mind the numbers as he's mentioning
[00:29:37] them as like she's describing the reward.
[00:29:39] She's culking out.
[00:29:41] It always seems like Liz has something to come to and then of course
[00:29:44] her using her own bloody leg to direct it.
[00:29:47] Did you notice that?
[00:29:47] Yeah, like doesn't wear shoes.
[00:29:49] Liz has lost her shoes.
[00:29:50] I'm pretty sure.
[00:29:52] Wow.
[00:29:53] Yeah.
[00:29:53] Yeah, Liz Liz is a very interesting character.
[00:29:56] Even when she talks about being emotional.
[00:29:58] She's like, you know, I was worried about the letters from home
[00:30:02] because I don't know if I want my tribe mates to see me emotional
[00:30:05] and I'm thinking you mean as opposed to the two episodes ago
[00:30:09] when you were
[00:30:09] I'm pissed.
[00:30:14] Like, you know, like we just saw you very emotional like this
[00:30:17] is tame.
[00:30:17] This was the tamest Liz we've ever got and she was bleeding in
[00:30:20] half the episode.
[00:30:21] Yeah, that's the thing.
[00:30:22] Like she I feel like every time we see an external shot.
[00:30:26] She is completely barefoot.
[00:30:27] I think she runs these challenges barefoot though.
[00:30:31] I do think and this is how Liz Wilcox has been able to build her
[00:30:34] Rumored billions.
[00:30:36] Could she have been already kind of jockeying for the feet
[00:30:41] pics?
[00:30:42] Oh, I know y'all know what you want.
[00:30:47] What kind of newsletter is she doing?
[00:30:49] Yeah, let me give you that first taste for free.
[00:30:52] And if you want to check out the real deal follow up with me
[00:30:55] after the fact.
[00:30:56] Okay, so I'm on wiki feet right now.
[00:30:58] I'm going to look and see if they already have that bookmark
[00:31:00] Chappelle.
[00:31:01] I mean, it's in my favorite.
[00:31:03] Great moment when Liz was doing the puzzle and then she put
[00:31:07] her foot up as like, what is she doing?
[00:31:09] Is she about to like smash the puzzle like Jake did in
[00:31:13] Survivor 45 and she's like, oh, okay.
[00:31:15] All right, go there.
[00:31:16] They're like, oh, I'm bleeding.
[00:31:19] That would have been incredible if she just like Hulk stomped
[00:31:22] her way through this puzzle.
[00:31:24] I think I don't know what Jeff would have done if spicy Jeff
[00:31:26] is what we've seen.
[00:31:27] This would be like ghost pepper Jeff.
[00:31:29] He would have gone off on her in the moment.
[00:31:31] He would have yelled.
[00:31:32] I'm pissed.
[00:31:33] Mm-Hmm.
[00:31:33] Mm-Hmm.
[00:31:34] I just I just said Liz's wiki feets page because she of course
[00:31:37] has one it's got a I think it's got a it's unrated currently.
[00:31:42] So there's no rating on the page and it only one picture of
[00:31:45] her with her.
[00:31:46] It's just a cast photo.
[00:31:47] So whoever doing the wiki feet updates get on your job, you
[00:31:51] know, I make too many donations to this site.
[00:31:53] Right?
[00:31:54] I donate to this site weekly and I just think that we should
[00:31:56] keep watching Chappelle is every survivor on wiki feet.
[00:32:00] I don't think every survivor is on wiki feet.
[00:32:01] Let me look at Rob's sister.
[00:32:02] You know, let me see.
[00:32:04] Oh, that's a great idea.
[00:32:05] Mm-Hmm.
[00:32:05] I mean you are a survivor Rob one of the one of the OG's if
[00:32:08] you're not on here then I mean that answers your question and
[00:32:11] up but my stuff was an SD.
[00:32:13] Oh, yeah, you're right.
[00:32:14] They don't have that kind of technology to go back that far.
[00:32:15] Okay.
[00:32:16] Let me try somebody in trying to try to fish back as he had
[00:32:19] some pretty gnarly feet in Cambodia.
[00:32:20] I don't want to yell at him, but no, he's not here either.
[00:32:23] Man.
[00:32:24] This is weird.
[00:32:24] Yeah, I think it just really comes down to Liz being that
[00:32:29] iconic and being that barefoot so for so long that they had
[00:32:31] to do it.
[00:32:32] Yeah, okay.
[00:32:34] Well, let's uh, should we encourage them to get a picture
[00:32:39] or is that is that bad?
[00:32:40] We get cancer.
[00:32:41] Encourage them to get Liz's feet if she can make some money
[00:32:45] off of it, then that's great.
[00:32:47] Oh, so I did look up a former survivor winners wiki feet
[00:32:51] article and it's popping.
[00:32:52] So I'm just saying like laughing maybe they're just waiting
[00:32:55] for Liz to go.
[00:32:56] Is a recent winner Chappelle.
[00:32:58] Hey, have been a current podcast host.
[00:33:01] Yeah.
[00:33:02] Yeah, but the wiki feet is popping.
[00:33:04] Hopefully she's making some money off of it.
[00:33:05] Do you want to do?
[00:33:06] Okay, Mike.
[00:33:07] I know you want to do some drafts today.
[00:33:09] Do we want to draft who's going to host the Survivor podcast
[00:33:14] next season?
[00:33:15] Oh, this is a good idea.
[00:33:15] So are we assuming that they're going to pick up someone
[00:33:17] from Survivor 46 to do this?
[00:33:19] I would think so.
[00:33:20] I think we have to assume.
[00:33:20] Godspeed Jeff Probst and J Wolf if that's the case.
[00:33:23] I think so, right?
[00:33:25] Like, let's assume.
[00:33:26] If not, if not next season, maybe a future season.
[00:33:29] Yeah, they could double back and go with like, you know,
[00:33:33] like a jam jam or something like that.
[00:33:35] But I think they're going to probably go with somebody from
[00:33:38] the most recent season.
[00:33:40] Okay, and who will be your number one pick on the board
[00:33:42] Rob?
[00:33:44] Well, okay.
[00:33:47] Do you want to go around?
[00:33:47] I have some, I have, you know, thoughts on it.
[00:33:50] Okay, but I feel like that of, you know, win or not win.
[00:33:56] I think Kenzie would be a real solid addition to the team.
[00:34:02] Gotcha.
[00:34:03] I don't know.
[00:34:03] I wouldn't have gone with Kenzie for my first pick.
[00:34:06] What about you Mike?
[00:34:07] I would have gone with much like the fan base has going
[00:34:10] into Wednesday, probably going with a Kenzie or a Charlie
[00:34:13] because I think like, listen, you want to go with a personality
[00:34:16] for sure.
[00:34:17] You don't want to necessarily just be talking to a slab
[00:34:19] of drywall on a podcast to create content.
[00:34:22] But at the same time, I do think you also want somebody
[00:34:24] that will not be too far out there, which I think lovingly
[00:34:29] so a lot of people this season would be and you want to
[00:34:31] do someone who's relatively successful.
[00:34:33] So I think that as you've talked about Chappelle, I think
[00:34:35] Charlie is that perfect balance of like being able to deliver
[00:34:38] sound bites while also simultaneously delivering sound strategic
[00:34:41] advice. The issue would be I do believe, you know, Charlie's
[00:34:44] time may be quite occupied considering he is in law school
[00:34:48] at the time that Survivor 40 several were air.
[00:34:50] So I'm not sure if he could be pulled aside to do it.
[00:34:54] And also, yeah, as the chat is pointing out, Kenzie has a
[00:34:57] baby on the way.
[00:34:59] Yeah, exactly.
[00:35:00] Baby hosted.
[00:35:01] Yeah, maybe the baby could host it.
[00:35:02] You know, I would probably lean toward Charlie if I had
[00:35:04] to guess as well, but mostly because it would be such a missed
[00:35:08] opportunity to really capitalize on this Taylor Swift fan
[00:35:11] base that we have now, right?
[00:35:13] Because Charlie is giving all the shout outs to Taylor Swift.
[00:35:15] He gets Taylor Swift quotes and lyrics in his family letter.
[00:35:19] He has 22 written on his hands as well.
[00:35:23] And so, yeah, Charlie goes on to...
[00:35:26] Yeah, that too.
[00:35:27] Yeah.
[00:35:27] And so I think that when it comes to Charlie, if he says
[00:35:30] some random Taylor Swift, you know, quotes or something like
[00:35:34] that and she might happen to repost the podcast or something
[00:35:38] like that, that's good for Survivor's brand. Taylor Swift got
[00:35:40] a whole bunch of people watching the NFL.
[00:35:42] Imagine what it could do for Survivor.
[00:35:44] Yeah, if they had the live finale, if they could get Taylor
[00:35:46] Swift there, that would be something.
[00:35:48] Yeah, or like Taylor Swift and Sia collaborating on a song
[00:35:51] together or something like that about Charlie. How are Charlie
[00:35:55] to bring together collaboration between two of the biggest artists?
[00:35:58] So we have Kenzie and Charlie in the mix, okay?
[00:36:02] But this is supposed to be a draft.
[00:36:04] So, all right, if Kenzie's off the board and Charlie's off
[00:36:09] the board, then Chappelle, who would you go with?
[00:36:15] I don't know.
[00:36:16] See, those are the big personalities, like Mike said, that
[00:36:18] are going to be successful in the game that I think could be
[00:36:20] great on the podcast.
[00:36:21] But I guess if you have those two out of the way, I think you
[00:36:23] go all the way in the other direction.
[00:36:25] I think you have to go with Q.
[00:36:26] I think you have to strike while the iron is hot, you know?
[00:36:29] He's such a big personality.
[00:36:31] We see him destroying the cameo charts right now.
[00:36:35] He's picking fights with everybody.
[00:36:36] People, no one's going to turn down an opportunity to hear
[00:36:39] what Q has to say about every episode of Survivor.
[00:36:41] You know, he's going to be the biggest draw of all these people
[00:36:44] regardless of the outcome of the season.
[00:36:46] I think you have to go with Q at that point.
[00:36:47] Yeah, that would be wild to have Q as the co-host in the podcast
[00:36:52] because I feel like that, you know, because Jeff is like talking
[00:36:55] about like how they view things and I just feel like there's
[00:36:58] going to be a lot of as Emily Flipin one said, can I push back
[00:37:03] on that?
[00:37:04] Like, yeah, I don't know how to even get through one episode.
[00:37:08] No, it's going to be insane.
[00:37:10] But again, yeah, we look at your options.
[00:37:12] There are a lot of people listening podcast every week, every
[00:37:15] week. If I would go with an honorable mention, I'll try to shoot
[00:37:18] for the happy medium there and it's tough because we've had Rick
[00:37:21] and we've had D both of whom were, you know, you know, close
[00:37:25] to the finalists finals, if not finalists and winners.
[00:37:28] What about like Tiffany?
[00:37:30] You know, Tiffany finishes in like an eighth place, but I feel
[00:37:32] like she had a lot of strategic chops to her.
[00:37:35] I think she is maybe I would honestly say an underrated character
[00:37:38] in Survivor 46.
[00:37:39] I think she was such an incredible go-to person for reactions
[00:37:42] where she was just be it friend or foe.
[00:37:45] She was fed up with everyone's shit.
[00:37:46] Yeah, and I think that she would be someone who could be like
[00:37:50] pretty down to earth when it comes to actually meeting someone
[00:37:53] where they are, but also simultaneously is not afraid to give
[00:37:56] guff about the things that she's seeing on the screen.
[00:37:58] Yeah, Tiffany would be a good pick.
[00:38:00] Okay, can I go with somebody else that I think is probably more
[00:38:05] of a long shot, but somebody I think would be a good choice.
[00:38:09] And I think that it was Davey that I first saw who suggested
[00:38:13] this, but I think Tevin would be a really good pick also that
[00:38:17] he did the whole thing about what Survivor is.
[00:38:20] I know Mike Bloom knows, you know, how great Tevin is at, you
[00:38:25] know, talking about any given subject.
[00:38:27] I mean, Tevin is, you know, a super talented guy who would be
[00:38:31] great on a podcast.
[00:38:33] Absolutely.
[00:38:34] Absolutely.
[00:38:35] I just think that when it comes to, you know, our recent events,
[00:38:38] I think that the Tevin blind side is just going overshadowed
[00:38:41] by all the other craziness so much to where, yeah, it's a
[00:38:44] solid choice, but it's not the sexy choice.
[00:38:47] It's just kind of like, oh, that's a really good choice.
[00:38:49] You know, I think that Tevin, if you ask me at the beginning
[00:38:52] of the season, I'm like, obviously it's Tevin.
[00:38:54] He's just, he can talk about Survivor in a way that a lot
[00:38:56] of people just cannot.
[00:38:58] He's very likable.
[00:38:59] Again, I talked about the Mike Bloom interview with Tevin
[00:39:01] was so good.
[00:39:01] I was thinking, yeah, this guy's got it.
[00:39:03] So he'd be great.
[00:39:04] But, you know, I just think there are more flashy moments
[00:39:07] that happened since Tevin that you're like, oh yeah, Tevin?
[00:39:10] That's who you're going with?
[00:39:11] Okay, so he has one more chance to redeem that image.
[00:39:17] You know, could he be the lead actor in the jury play at
[00:39:22] the end of all this?
[00:39:23] Could he be the one?
[00:39:24] They just put out like a jury interview Dalton Ross today
[00:39:27] and he said that the Fijian staff called him the king
[00:39:29] of Ponderosa.
[00:39:30] Oh, could he walk out there and showcase that crowd and
[00:39:33] be like, all right, everybody, here's what we're going
[00:39:35] to do.
[00:39:36] You're going to tell us this stuff and look, I'm sure
[00:39:39] there are certainly some jurors there that would not be
[00:39:40] particularly happy with Tevin in particular being the
[00:39:43] voice of that.
[00:39:44] But maybe that's an opportunity to sort of, you know,
[00:39:46] remind everybody about his beautiful eloquence.
[00:39:50] Yeah.
[00:39:51] Okay.
[00:39:51] We probably bring back the old jury format, Rob.
[00:39:54] We have to bring back the old jury format where everybody
[00:39:57] gets to go up and say one thing.
[00:39:59] And I don't mean forever.
[00:40:01] I just mean for this particular season because imagine
[00:40:04] what Q gets up there and says with his one question.
[00:40:07] Venus with one her one question Tevin with his one question.
[00:40:12] There's just so many of these big characters that when
[00:40:14] they get up there.
[00:40:15] Oh, yeah, it's going to be fireworks.
[00:40:17] But you know the new format doesn't really allow for that.
[00:40:20] So you would have to Tevin would really have to assert
[00:40:21] himself as the king of the jury in Ponderosa.
[00:40:24] That being said, is this the first time we might see
[00:40:26] the jury fight with each other and not even be addressing
[00:40:29] the final three?
[00:40:30] One hundred and fifty percent like these people hunters
[00:40:34] going to keep whispering over to like Venus on the other
[00:40:36] side. Like do we believe them?
[00:40:38] Should we vote for it?
[00:40:39] Like as these finalists are trying to talk because again,
[00:40:42] we have all of these chaotic players on the bench.
[00:40:45] They're going to be the one so focused on each other that
[00:40:48] they're going to be like, oh, yeah, you can sort of talk
[00:40:49] amongst yourselves for the time being.
[00:40:51] We really need to hash this out in the moment and considering
[00:40:53] how many live tribals we have had this season.
[00:40:56] I think we got to add one more on top of it here.
[00:41:00] Be wild.
[00:41:00] It would be so good.
[00:41:01] And then Ben can tow pass himself if he if he makes the jury,
[00:41:05] you know, because there's just so many iterations of this
[00:41:08] that could be wild.
[00:41:09] But we have to we have to encourage this kind of energy.
[00:41:11] We can't shut it down.
[00:41:12] Would that be a reason if I'm a current player in the game
[00:41:15] why I would want to take Ben to the final three?
[00:41:17] Because that reduces the chance.
[00:41:18] I don't know if I put him on the jury.
[00:41:20] If there is a sizable chance he will actually vote correctly
[00:41:24] for me in the end of the game.
[00:41:26] Yeah, I mean, we saw it happen in Rob's first season of
[00:41:29] Survivor because who did Chrissy?
[00:41:30] Well, she voted.
[00:41:32] She voted for Jenna and she said she meant to.
[00:41:35] Okay, Chappelle.
[00:41:36] Yeah, and Q said he didn't want to quit.
[00:41:38] She said she meant to and that's good enough for me, Chappelle.
[00:41:43] Is it?
[00:41:44] Is it really?
[00:41:44] Because I'm still asking questions.
[00:41:46] That's good enough for me.
[00:41:48] Let's see how she votes in Survivor 50.
[00:41:52] Yeah.
[00:41:52] All right, you brought up Ben voted for Kenzie, voted for
[00:41:56] the wrong person.
[00:41:59] Mike, we all were thinking about how oh, this is this was
[00:42:03] probably just insurance just in case.
[00:42:07] However, tell me if this is did Q say on Twitter that he
[00:42:11] was the one that's supposed to go to Kenzie?
[00:42:13] Like was it possible that Ben was in that conversation and
[00:42:17] they told Q, all right Q vote for Kenzie tonight and Ben
[00:42:21] forgot if he was supposed to be the one to vote for Kenzie
[00:42:23] and Q also forgot that he was the one to vote for Kenzie?
[00:42:26] I think it really was down to the timeline of things where
[00:42:30] Ben was told earlier in the day at some point vote for Kenzie
[00:42:34] and maybe people that shouldn't have been in the circle
[00:42:37] where maybe he was standing next to Venus and they're like,
[00:42:39] hey vote for Kenzie and they're like, okie dokie.
[00:42:42] And so when Ben stands up there, he is trying to pull from
[00:42:45] the recesses of this slowly accumulating Inferno that is
[00:42:50] his unfortunate mental state as he's just saying, okay,
[00:42:53] there was a name someone said a name to be.
[00:42:55] I got cut cut cut.
[00:42:57] Kenzie.
[00:42:58] Yeah.
[00:42:59] Yeah, that rocks.
[00:43:00] All right.
[00:43:01] Let me spill it the way that the sex expert does.
[00:43:04] That'll be that's absolutely the way to do so and walk back
[00:43:08] with no consequences like this is this is objectively wild
[00:43:13] to me.
[00:43:13] This is like this is the equivalent because also Kenzie
[00:43:18] is so close with Ben.
[00:43:19] This is probably the survival equivalent of like saying
[00:43:21] the wrong name in bed, right?
[00:43:23] Whoa, it is in bed actually because they they spin
[00:43:27] most of the time every time we see Kenzie and Ben he's
[00:43:30] waking up out of sleep.
[00:43:30] Where's my bottle?
[00:43:31] Where's my bottle?
[00:43:32] Where's my stuff, you know and Kenzie's right there like
[00:43:33] babe. I got you.
[00:43:34] I got you, you know, so if they're intimate, I think so.
[00:43:37] I think he messed up.
[00:43:38] He said the wrong name.
[00:43:39] I should be like Mike just to go with along with the metaphor
[00:43:43] look.
[00:43:43] This is like the inverse of that that's supposed to be you
[00:43:47] go up there.
[00:43:48] You're thinking you're thinking about me.
[00:43:50] You should only be saying my name and you thought of somebody
[00:43:54] else.
[00:43:55] This is like, okay go do the thing.
[00:43:57] And then why were you thinking about getting rid of me?
[00:44:00] Mm-hmm exactly.
[00:44:01] Like this is I should be associated only with positive
[00:44:04] thoughts about you not negative ones.
[00:44:06] Why did your brain almost like I don't know Freud has to
[00:44:11] psychoanalyze this.
[00:44:12] Why was the impulsive thing for him to do is say Kenzie
[00:44:16] and associate that with my guess where I'm writing down her
[00:44:18] name tonight.
[00:44:18] Maybe he thought he was voting for the winner tonight.
[00:44:21] Mm-hmm.
[00:44:22] We've seen that mistake.
[00:44:23] He was imagining.
[00:44:24] Okay.
[00:44:24] Oh, it's the it's the final Tribal Council.
[00:44:26] I have to practice writing her name down to win.
[00:44:29] Yeah, could it be that they were talking so much about the
[00:44:31] final three that Ben's like, oh my God, did I blink and miss
[00:44:34] it?
[00:44:34] Am I in the final three right now?
[00:44:36] Yeah, wait, why am I am I on the jury?
[00:44:39] Am I a juror right now?
[00:44:40] Yeah.
[00:44:41] Well, okay.
[00:44:41] So this came up.
[00:44:42] Okay, what happened with Ben?
[00:44:44] Why did he do this?
[00:44:45] He tried to explain it at Tribal Council.
[00:44:49] No, so I was drunk off the pizza, right?
[00:44:52] Chappelle, have you ever been drunk off of the pizza?
[00:44:56] Absolutely.
[00:44:57] What are you talking about?
[00:44:58] I've been drunk off of so many things pizza.
[00:45:00] I'm not gonna rule it out.
[00:45:01] I've had a lot of pizza in my day.
[00:45:02] And so I'm sure I've had some blurry moments due to pizza.
[00:45:06] But again, I haven't screwed up somebody's name.
[00:45:09] Kenzie makes a very good point.
[00:45:10] She says it'd be different if Venus's name even started with
[00:45:14] the same letter as my name or Venus wasn't a planet a very
[00:45:17] popular name that most people most people know that name.
[00:45:21] If I if I'm Ben, I counter with but you're my planet.
[00:45:25] Right?
[00:45:26] I am your moon.
[00:45:27] I orbit you.
[00:45:28] So yes, I compared you to a planet.
[00:45:30] I think he could have like spun it like, oh my God, I am so
[00:45:34] I am obsessed with her.
[00:45:36] She is amazing.
[00:45:38] I can't stop thinking of her.
[00:45:39] So I'm always thinking about how awesome Kenzie is and I go
[00:45:43] and I write and I'm always writing her name in the sand and
[00:45:46] on the trees and everything.
[00:45:48] I just I just blanked.
[00:45:50] I think about her so much.
[00:45:52] Yeah.
[00:45:52] No, this sucks.
[00:45:54] I was so mad.
[00:45:54] I was so I was like being come on man and even worse than
[00:45:57] that the way he owned up to it.
[00:45:59] He's just like, all right is me is me.
[00:46:02] I would have taken that Batman couldn't have got that word
[00:46:04] out of me.
[00:46:05] There's like was it you?
[00:46:05] Nope.
[00:46:06] Not me.
[00:46:06] Nope.
[00:46:06] Not swear to God wasn't me.
[00:46:07] Sorry, but he owned up to it.
[00:46:09] So easy and kids is like you told me you would never write
[00:46:12] my name down and I think that was the first time we really
[00:46:14] start to realize it Ben and Kenzie have some type of final
[00:46:17] two final three situation going on because she was a baby
[00:46:20] Benzie.
[00:46:21] Yeah, Benzie is a thing.
[00:46:23] I wasn't expecting that.
[00:46:24] I didn't know it was that they were that close.
[00:46:25] I knew she had been helping him but yeah him to say I will
[00:46:28] never write your name down and then it get exposed in front
[00:46:31] of everybody as he writes her name down incorrectly, you
[00:46:34] know, there's a little poetry there.
[00:46:36] Is it all about the Benzie team, baby?
[00:46:38] That part?
[00:46:39] No, we're not.
[00:46:40] We're not.
[00:46:40] No.
[00:46:40] Yeah, we're not doing that again.
[00:46:41] Again.
[00:46:42] That guy sucks.
[00:46:43] I do think that you know why Ben did this is because I
[00:46:46] think of the past president that Charlie said inexplicably
[00:46:49] where he was like, all right Venus.
[00:46:51] I think everyone should hear this.
[00:46:52] I'm the one that voted for you that again.
[00:46:55] I think it's why we get this inexplicable chain of non-idol
[00:46:58] plays is that for some reason people are looking back upon
[00:47:01] what's recently happened.
[00:47:01] They're like well clearly this is the season where you just
[00:47:04] publicly admit that you voted the wrong way.
[00:47:06] So clearly I'm okay for doing so.
[00:47:10] Mm-hmm.
[00:47:10] He just came out and said it.
[00:47:11] Yeah, the whole time I was thinking I don't know what you
[00:47:13] do here, but I think you have to lie.
[00:47:15] I think you have to lie and just hope for the best.
[00:47:17] Nobody's coming for Ben at this point lie and just lie into
[00:47:20] the you know into the cows go because nothing that happens
[00:47:23] to make sense anymore eating anyway, so you can just paint
[00:47:25] like play it off like I wasn't been that crazy Q or somebody
[00:47:28] else.
[00:47:29] I spell Venus with an ISE, you know, I'm saying like that's
[00:47:32] how I you know, you know change it up.
[00:47:34] I that's the thing.
[00:47:35] I think you claim the misspelled about like I think if it's
[00:47:38] like, oh who else will be sure like me dibs?
[00:47:41] Oh, that was me.
[00:47:41] Sorry man.
[00:47:42] Only me brain fart.
[00:47:43] I was thinking Denise my favorite winner shout out Maria
[00:47:47] and I thought Venice like like the like the shredding part
[00:47:52] of Italy love me some canals baby.
[00:47:55] They're like frets on a guitar and then you just really try
[00:47:58] to claim ownership of it first when she's like actually I was
[00:48:01] the Venus vote.
[00:48:02] It just grows further consternation against Q.
[00:48:05] So Mike is it possible though with all of the talk of lactose
[00:48:10] intolerance and food allergies could Ben have gotten drunk
[00:48:15] on pizza.
[00:48:16] I mean so interestingly when I talked with Liz in the
[00:48:20] preseason first off.
[00:48:22] I really recommend people check it out because now she does
[00:48:25] so infamously in retrospect say I am so excited for everyone
[00:48:28] to get so emotional when they're starving and they're hungry
[00:48:31] because that's the existence I live every day, but she says
[00:48:35] that she is allergic to eggs, but in a very specific way where
[00:48:38] if she eats eggs, it simulates the feelings of inebriation.
[00:48:43] Wow.
[00:48:44] So I think nutritionally speaking and look Liz just talked
[00:48:47] about the psychosomatic effects of like hey because I'm so
[00:48:50] used to you know, repressing myself.
[00:48:52] Maybe that's why I developed so many allergies.
[00:48:55] I think pizza overload might put your mental state in there.
[00:48:59] Yeah, where you are sort of have like a beer goggles entering
[00:49:03] the voting booth and you're thinking like oh god was I supposed
[00:49:07] to do so this is a lesson to all you Survivor players out
[00:49:10] there.
[00:49:11] Don't eat and vote.
[00:49:12] Yeah, you have to get a designated voter to do it for you
[00:49:15] responsibly.
[00:49:16] The only problem is a designated eater and I'm down for that
[00:49:18] role. You need it.
[00:49:19] I'll be your designated eater wasn't the pizza reward the
[00:49:22] day before the immunity challenge and the vote.
[00:49:26] Yes.
[00:49:28] The queue had already had hours later.
[00:49:30] Yeah.
[00:49:30] Well listen, I think Ben is used to maybe imbibing and substances
[00:49:33] that might show up on a drug test days after the fact so there's
[00:49:36] a chance it still might be in his bloodstream even a couple
[00:49:38] days later.
[00:49:39] Mm-hmm.
[00:49:39] It's hard to shake it if you do it a lot, you know from what
[00:49:41] I've read although you know, it was the immunity challenge and
[00:49:44] maybe it was all the same day.
[00:49:45] All right that being said, okay, Jeff says this is not passing
[00:49:50] the smell test Ben and Jeff can tell when people are lying
[00:49:56] because he's doing a lot of research.
[00:49:58] I gotta say Ben.
[00:49:59] I watch a lot of police interrogation videos.
[00:50:02] Why?
[00:50:03] Why Jeffrey?
[00:50:05] Like for what and why how does that benefit you?
[00:50:09] I'm obsessed with this because this feels like like everyone's
[00:50:13] so kooky and weird that Jeff's like great if I'm kooky and
[00:50:17] weird as well, then like I'm just throwing myself in there,
[00:50:19] you know, they bristled when I talked about being the water
[00:50:22] boy in my high school when I was talking to the Lulu tribe
[00:50:25] here these people will love my comments.
[00:50:27] And so here comes Jeff like like Chris Elliott's character
[00:50:32] in scary movie to with the hands dipping it in the pie of
[00:50:35] like it me too.
[00:50:37] Yeah, like oh, hey, I'm quirky as well guys.
[00:50:39] I've watched police interrogation videos at Nazjab.
[00:50:42] Not the first time Jeff has made the submission.
[00:50:45] He talked about it in on fire season one.
[00:50:50] Jeff says he watches a lot of police interrogation videos
[00:50:54] there as well.
[00:50:55] Like as a culprit technically does that count?
[00:51:00] Yeah, like if you're in the if you're in the video,
[00:51:02] these is it count as watching it or do you like is Jeff watching
[00:51:05] his greatest hits because I'm starting to think he is a
[00:51:07] criminal.
[00:51:07] Why are you doing this?
[00:51:08] I need a solid explanation for when he comes home.
[00:51:12] Why his tik-tok algorithm just like switches and goes to
[00:51:16] interrogation talk.
[00:51:17] I don't understand.
[00:51:18] Yeah.
[00:51:18] So Brooke in the chat says I think he talked about the
[00:51:21] interrogation videos in a podcast.
[00:51:22] He takes inspiration for how he acts at tribal.
[00:51:26] That's interesting.
[00:51:26] I missed I missed that last part.
[00:51:28] I thought that he was saying he watches them because he likes
[00:51:30] to see sort of like how humans lie and then in sort of like
[00:51:35] a lot of the dilemmas that they make and that's why that
[00:51:37] they're doing so many different games of like, okay, you lie
[00:51:42] like which person is lying here and you have to figure it
[00:51:46] out.
[00:51:46] Okay.
[00:51:47] Yeah, what I I have a new credo a new Shangri-La new end
[00:51:52] goal for my journalistic career.
[00:51:54] Yes.
[00:51:54] I want to interview the police officer that Jeff is mimicking
[00:51:58] in his tribal council procedures.
[00:52:00] Like imagine like it's just one we've caught you with 20 pounds
[00:52:04] of coke.
[00:52:04] It's like when you get in a car and your tires and you decide
[00:52:09] to go pump it at the gas station.
[00:52:11] Do you wipe the windshield first?
[00:52:13] Oh, do you think that it's sort of like this thing where it's
[00:52:16] like, you know, they keep the person like under the hot light
[00:52:18] and they have like a big thing of water and like, oh thirsty.
[00:52:24] I bet you'd like some of this.
[00:52:25] Is that what he's doing with the popcorn and the licorice?
[00:52:27] It must be it really must be because if you talk tonight,
[00:52:30] you'll get some of this.
[00:52:32] Yeah, you could go home to your family right after this,
[00:52:34] you know, and he even asked weird questions now too.
[00:52:37] And he says like Maria what's significant about winning immunity
[00:52:41] at this point in the game?
[00:52:42] She's like because I'm not going to lose the game.
[00:52:45] He's like, oh, that's crazy.
[00:52:48] That's crazy.
[00:52:48] Next question is like Jeff.
[00:52:50] What are you doing?
[00:52:52] He's not interrogating these people but this all makes sense
[00:52:55] because only the wizened hardened nihilistic perspective of
[00:53:01] like an old beat cop would look at the world of love in a
[00:53:05] way of all love is good.
[00:53:07] Love the great thing about being a brother and sister is
[00:53:10] one of you isn't the parent could it be that all of these
[00:53:13] weird things Jeff are saying is taken from this like film
[00:53:17] noir. Yeah, exactly.
[00:53:19] Like three packs of cigarettes a day before breakfast.
[00:53:22] Like that could be this is could be survivor guy.
[00:53:25] It could be this man.
[00:53:26] This sort of like Columbo esque figure that Jeff has just
[00:53:29] been pouring hours upon hours over.
[00:53:32] Mike, did you see the clip about how we played this a couple
[00:53:35] weeks ago about how he was so excited for Matlock?
[00:53:37] Yes, with, is that with Margo Martindale?
[00:53:41] No, Kathy Bates.
[00:53:42] Sorry, I always mix them up.
[00:53:43] Yes, they're bringing back Matlock.
[00:53:45] And Jeff is ready for this.
[00:53:47] I don't understand.
[00:53:48] I think Jeff has been doing this a very long time y'all.
[00:53:52] We might need to start talking about who his successor is
[00:53:54] going to be because I think Jeff is starting to move over
[00:53:57] to where he wants to host, you know, America's Most Wanted
[00:53:59] or something.
[00:54:00] You know, like it looks like he's about to start, you know,
[00:54:03] updating his LinkedIn to get a different job.
[00:54:06] Survivor might not be big enough for him anymore.
[00:54:08] We're going to see Jeff guest starring on Law and Order
[00:54:10] SVU soon.
[00:54:11] Well, what I think is interesting is that actually if you
[00:54:13] look ahead at the CBS programming this fall, there is something
[00:54:15] called The Real CSI, which is like a true crime show.
[00:54:19] Could we start to see Jeff sort of like segue into that role,
[00:54:23] you know, where he's like, it fits his perfect wheelhouse
[00:54:25] of unscripted series, but apparently dealing with his absolute
[00:54:29] fascination and love with interrogation scenes.
[00:54:32] Rob, would you like it more if Jeff actually did interrogate
[00:54:36] the people at Tribal Council?
[00:54:38] Because Jeff asks leading questions.
[00:54:40] I wouldn't say he interrogates anybody.
[00:54:42] He's got like, so tell me about what happened.
[00:54:44] Open-ended questions, letting them talk.
[00:54:46] But what if Jeff really did hold someone's feet to the fire?
[00:54:49] Like Ben says, yeah, I don't know.
[00:54:51] You guys, I just kind of, you know, I got pizza drunk.
[00:54:54] I voted for the wrong person.
[00:54:55] Jeff says, nah, Ben, tell me more. Not good enough.
[00:54:58] No, we're not voting until you tell me exactly what was going
[00:55:02] on back at camp. Throws his thumb to the side.
[00:55:05] Yeah, exactly.
[00:55:06] Exactly.
[00:55:07] And everybody jumps back and he's in Ben's face, you know,
[00:55:09] like, tell me, tell me!
[00:55:11] You know, that's what I think I would like a little bit more
[00:55:14] animation from Jeff because the props are one thing, but
[00:55:16] get really get into it.
[00:55:17] You've been doing this investigation.
[00:55:19] You've been doing this exploration in interrogation.
[00:55:23] Let's see what you got to do, you know, put it to work.
[00:55:25] See, that would be interesting though, because I do think
[00:55:28] if Q's voted out of the Tribal Council, like it could be
[00:55:30] inadmissible. It could say like, legally, I don't think we
[00:55:34] can make this interrogation count.
[00:55:35] So sorry Q, you actually aren't voted out.
[00:55:37] We need to call a mulligan and run this all over again.
[00:55:39] See, I think I'd be a little bit more interesting to see
[00:55:41] Jeff Probst come in and interrogate real people accused
[00:55:45] of crimes.
[00:55:46] Absolutely, 100%.
[00:55:48] Because you know he wants a deep down of like, all right,
[00:55:52] so tell me when you were eight years old.
[00:55:54] All right.
[00:55:55] What made you kill all those prostitutes?
[00:55:58] Is it in the blood?
[00:56:00] You know, take us back to Jeff's oldest hits.
[00:56:02] His greatest hits.
[00:56:05] Tell me.
[00:56:05] He's going to give a backer up to the guy like, all right,
[00:56:08] he's going to back up.
[00:56:09] All right, all right.
[00:56:10] Settle down.
[00:56:11] Tell me how it is in interrogation room.
[00:56:13] When you fed the fentanyl to your uncle and you texted
[00:56:15] everything's good.
[00:56:16] Did you spell it with a two O's or one O?
[00:56:19] What is it about you millennials?
[00:56:21] Right.
[00:56:22] Eating disorder?
[00:56:23] What is it?
[00:56:24] You tell us, you know.
[00:56:26] Bring back old Jeff.
[00:56:27] Quick, quick question for you.
[00:56:28] I know you did attempt to kill the president, but are you
[00:56:31] a virgin?
[00:56:33] Still a virgin.
[00:56:34] You was a virgin when you tried.
[00:56:36] Oh, yeah.
[00:56:38] Jeff has a future in interrogation.
[00:56:39] I can see it.
[00:56:40] Okay.
[00:56:41] Hey, it's Kaylee Cuoco for Priceline.
[00:56:44] Ready to go to your happy place for a happy price?

[00:57:15] you've gotten lucky?
[00:57:16] Lucky? In line at the deli, I guess.
[00:57:19] Ah, in my dentist's office.
[00:57:20] More than once actually.
[00:57:22] Do I have to say?
[00:57:23] Yes, you do.
[00:57:24] In the car before my kids' PTA meeting.
[00:57:26] Really?
[00:57:27] Yes.
[00:57:27] Excuse me.
[00:57:28] What's the weirdest place you've gotten lucky?

[00:58:17] I want to talk about something else that happened at Tribal Council
[00:58:19] that I thought was so interesting.
[00:58:21] We heard Kenzie describe the other players in the game.
[00:58:26] And so let's listen to this and then lots of questions about this.
[00:58:31] Okay, here's Kenzie talking about the group.
[00:58:35] We are this really weird dysfunctional family.
[00:58:38] The six of us like Q and Ben are like my brothers who don't speak
[00:58:42] and they like pick on me all the time.
[00:58:44] Maria is like our aunt who cooks everything.
[00:58:47] You're like our cynical grandma who's like losing it, but we love her.
[00:58:52] Charlie's like our dependable dog.
[00:58:58] Who is Kenzie in this?
[00:59:00] She's the main character.
[00:59:02] I feel so sad because I think Kenzie leaked her final Tribal Council
[00:59:06] speech three days early.
[00:59:07] Like is this not Sophie's analysis of coach just done 23 seasons later?
[00:59:15] Yeah, and she did it.
[00:59:16] She did it before they even got to the final Tribal Council.
[00:59:18] By the time they get there, they're already going to go.
[00:59:20] Yeah, exactly.
[00:59:21] Oh man.
[00:59:22] Because Sophie says I look at coach like he's a young woman.
[00:59:26] I look at him like a young girl who had to drag through the game.
[00:59:29] So when Kenzie's sitting next to Charlie and she says this is my dependable
[00:59:32] dog and I kept him as my pet, you know, it's like a mix between Sophie
[00:59:36] and maybe the Parvati-Russell speech.
[00:59:37] Like yeah, this is mine and he was only loyal to me and only me.
[00:59:41] You know, Kenzie might be planting the seeds to take this one away
[00:59:44] because honestly, I haven't seen it until now.
[00:59:46] Yeah, I'm starting to see the Kenzie edit a little bit.
[00:59:48] Or maybe she's getting ready to do a half Murphy for Maria with Charlie
[00:59:54] as Spencer once did when he called Wu Tony's dog at the final Tribal Council.
[01:00:01] That's true.
[01:00:02] I mean, Charlie did start the game with the Spencer style.
[01:00:04] So at least in terms of fashion and hairstyle, so it could make sense
[01:00:08] that they decide, okay, you're the dog now.
[01:00:11] It's come full circle.
[01:00:12] The dog now.
[01:00:13] So yeah, so it's Kenzie.
[01:00:15] Kenzie's the show is Kenzie in the house, right?
[01:00:17] Because she's the main character and you have her two siblings, Ben
[01:00:21] and Q who don't speak to each other.
[01:00:22] Who apparently like, now I was thinking actually maybe it's the color of the hair.
[01:00:26] I was thinking very like Roy family.
[01:00:29] Gotcha.
[01:00:30] Here are the two brothers that can't stand each other and here's like
[01:00:34] the sister in the middle with red hair.
[01:00:35] Okay.
[01:00:37] Now is Q Roman or Kendall?
[01:00:42] Yes.
[01:00:42] Q is the most Kendall Roy contestant I have ever seen in the history of this
[01:00:47] show.
[01:00:49] I can see that.
[01:00:49] I can see that.
[01:00:50] When Kendall is feeling it, he's cooking.
[01:00:53] You know, he's smiling.
[01:00:54] Yeah, he's in it and then next thing you know, it's just like the
[01:00:57] domino effect crashing.
[01:01:00] Yeah, that was Kendall.
[01:01:01] Listen, Kendall Roy is not very happy with boats.
[01:01:04] Neither is Q at this point.
[01:01:06] Yeah.
[01:01:06] Okay, I can see it.
[01:01:09] Yeah, not to spoil too much of succession, but yeah, I can see that
[01:01:13] there.
[01:01:13] Could you just imagine Kendall like, well, all right.
[01:01:15] Well, we could cancel Christmas.
[01:01:18] That was a big mistake.
[01:01:20] There was a big mistake.
[01:01:22] That was a big mistake.
[01:01:23] I decided Liz is not coming to Applebee's.
[01:01:26] It's my choice.
[01:01:27] I get to pick.
[01:01:28] I get the pickle cups Applebee's.
[01:01:29] Liz is not coming with me.
[01:01:30] I'm the eldest boy.
[01:01:32] I get to choose.
[01:01:33] It's my reward.
[01:01:34] Because also Ben kind of has that like little freak in him like Roman
[01:01:38] does.
[01:01:40] A little bit.
[01:01:40] It's a little yeah, you're a little kinky.
[01:01:43] Yeah, we get we get that from Ben.
[01:01:44] Yeah, I can see.
[01:01:45] Okay.
[01:01:46] Okay.
[01:01:46] Like imagine like Q what if Q's birthday was on the island?
[01:01:49] He would absolutely celebrate the way Kendall Roy did.
[01:01:52] Oh, yeah, and I can see Q bursting out in a rap as well.
[01:01:56] Yes.
[01:01:57] Yeah, okay.
[01:01:58] Okay, you have my attention.
[01:01:59] But when they say Maria is the crazy aunt, is she Jerry?
[01:02:05] That's a good question.
[01:02:06] Jerry from succession.
[01:02:07] Yes, not luckily not Jerry Seinfeld.
[01:02:10] No.
[01:02:12] So that doesn't track.
[01:02:14] I don't think.
[01:02:15] No, no, no.
[01:02:16] I think so.
[01:02:18] I think more so Maria.
[01:02:19] She's was it Marta?
[01:02:22] Was that Maria could be Marta?
[01:02:24] Yeah, I think Maria more has like I think Maria is more like Logan.
[01:02:28] I think Maria has this course where like she was this Titan for the
[01:02:32] in the game, but in the past couple rounds like it's starting to get a
[01:02:35] little shaky right things are happening.
[01:02:37] They're like, I don't know if she's making the right decision.
[01:02:39] She's going rogue here.
[01:02:41] I don't know if we want to take me.
[01:02:43] We might want to take her out of power right now to do you know,
[01:02:46] not danger the company.
[01:02:47] That's true because the most conflict comes whenever Logan is
[01:02:50] trying to take Kendall would make him like his favorite, you know,
[01:02:53] he's like, oh yeah, Kendall is in charge, you know, Kendall's got
[01:02:55] it and everybody's like Kendall of all people Kendall, you know,
[01:02:58] so they're like cute.
[01:02:59] We got to get them out of here.
[01:03:00] Okay, exactly.
[01:03:02] Okay, there's more of this.
[01:03:03] We are in the chat says Liz's cousin Greg.
[01:03:07] Absolutely.
[01:03:09] And so what are like Liz and like who's is who's that Liz's
[01:03:16] disgusting brother?
[01:03:16] Is it her five pound piece of poop?
[01:03:21] Basically, wow.
[01:03:23] Well, then that is Josh brings up a fantastic point.
[01:03:25] Maria made them play rock-paper-scissors.
[01:03:28] Is that not bore on the floor?
[01:03:31] Yeah, make your case.
[01:03:37] I love my favorite one was the Liz is she's like it just keeps
[01:03:43] getting worse.
[01:03:44] Liz.
[01:03:46] She's like the grandma that's losing it.
[01:03:50] We love her.
[01:03:52] No, no, she's not emotional at all.
[01:03:54] That's why you know, you didn't get to see any of that.
[01:03:57] Yeah, by the way, Josh cattle says Jalinski is cousin Greg
[01:04:00] coded.
[01:04:00] Yeah, that's Jalinski is the cousin Greg.
[01:04:03] Yeah, it's almost too easy.
[01:04:04] So let's get lasted as long in the in the game as cousin Greg
[01:04:07] did in that mascot costume.
[01:04:09] The fact that he still keeps coming up every episode is like
[01:04:11] yeah, how is he still here?
[01:04:13] How is he still here?
[01:04:14] I thought around the amusement park.
[01:04:16] Exactly.
[01:04:17] How did you make it at the end of the day?
[01:04:19] You will always have several will always have the legend.
[01:04:22] That's Jalinski.
[01:04:23] It's right there and then Charlie is the dog and like they
[01:04:29] stole beads from his ludicrously capacious bag to make that
[01:04:32] fake idol to give to Jess.
[01:04:35] This makes sense.
[01:04:36] Okay, I like this.
[01:04:37] I like this a lot go Kenzie.
[01:04:39] This is a hell of a this is a hell of a read went straight
[01:04:41] down the line really.
[01:04:42] I agree that like probably the biggest read of all you.
[01:04:46] I guess Charlie was compared to an actual animal but Liz was
[01:04:50] given dementia.
[01:04:51] She's losing it, but we love her.
[01:04:54] We love her.
[01:04:56] I will be looking at Kenzie like so when who are you exactly
[01:04:59] chef?
[01:05:00] Is that what you are?
[01:05:01] That what we're doing?
[01:05:01] What's going on?
[01:05:02] You whole bags.
[01:05:04] Yeah, well, this was before she did bring the poop to final
[01:05:08] trauma Council that maybe maybe afterwards.
[01:05:11] Yeah, maybe you say that like yeah.
[01:05:13] Yeah, Liz is losing it.
[01:05:15] Yeah, this is what you know, you love your grandma, but if
[01:05:17] she's like, can you fight my bird and it's like on the floor
[01:05:21] of the cage or like, oh, yeah, grandma.
[01:05:23] I don't know if a million dollars is the thing you need at
[01:05:25] this moment.
[01:05:27] Yeah, love the Kenzie sitcom.
[01:05:30] That was a great moment.
[01:05:33] Kenzie in the house Kenzie in the house.
[01:05:35] Okay.
[01:05:36] I want to talk a little bit about the one of the things that
[01:05:38] made Liz lose.
[01:05:39] It was Applebee's now.
[01:05:41] We know how much Liz loves Applebee's much like Karishma
[01:05:45] before her this weekend.
[01:05:48] I attempted to take my family to the local Applebee's.
[01:05:53] Chappelle, it's closed.
[01:05:56] Out of business.
[01:05:58] Wow, took the signs down everything.
[01:06:02] Yeah, Liz obviously she's on Survivor.
[01:06:04] So she had she can't bankroll it like she's been doing because
[01:06:06] it's basically just a front for whatever other like seedy business
[01:06:09] that she has going on.
[01:06:10] I'm sure she's just like funneling tons and tons of money
[01:06:12] to keep big Applebee's satisfied.
[01:06:14] Money launder through the local Apple.
[01:06:19] Thank you Jeff.
[01:06:20] I brought my seat cushion while we talk through all the funds
[01:06:23] you embezzled.
[01:06:24] He's gonna pull out a shark bowl one of these days at Tribal
[01:06:26] Council and everybody's gonna go wild.
[01:06:29] So yeah, and it was close.
[01:06:31] It was close.
[01:06:31] We kept talking about it so much because of Survivor and I was
[01:06:35] finally gonna take my kids and then I drove past it and it was
[01:06:37] completely shut down and no Applebee's here in town.
[01:06:40] But did you have a Liz-esque meltdown to the world on behalf
[01:06:43] of seeing that?
[01:06:44] Yeah, I was like, I'm pissed!
[01:06:47] Yeah, I saw an article on today.com that said Applebee's closing
[01:06:51] more than 25 locations in 2024.
[01:06:53] So maybe this Liz and Survivor combination, maybe that's the
[01:06:58] promo they need to reinvigorate people's love for Applebee's.
[01:07:01] I'm not gonna lie to you before Liz said that I was pretty sure
[01:07:04] that they had a 0% approval rating.
[01:07:05] Well, 1% of you count Karishma.
[01:07:07] Mm-hmm.
[01:07:08] Yeah, so no Applebee's here in town.
[01:07:09] All right, but they made another big fan of Applebee's and that
[01:07:14] would be Q because Q, he didn't have a confessional in the
[01:07:20] episode about how he always goes to Applebee's like Tiffany talked
[01:07:23] about it.
[01:07:23] She says she goes there every week. That Liz, it's part of her
[01:07:28] ritual, but Q, I don't know if Applebee's was new to Q, but
[01:07:33] there was a secret scene this week where Q talked about his
[01:07:40] love of Applebee's and he talked about what he has, Q's wife
[01:07:46] or fiance, was it wife or fiance? His wife.
[01:07:49] Yes, he's married.
[01:07:49] His wife that he talked about what he was going to do with
[01:07:55] his wife when he returned home to the mainland.
[01:07:59] Here's Q.
[01:08:01] The second he touches down, okay.
[01:08:12] Okay, he gets off the plane.
[01:08:30] We're going to Applebee's and we're going to get big.
[01:08:37] Now, wait a minute, Rob.
[01:08:40] I just have to point something out here.
[01:08:42] What is the name of Q's beautiful blushing bride?
[01:08:45] Emily.
[01:08:48] Yeah.
[01:08:49] So he doesn't want to kiss.
[01:08:51] He doesn't want a phone.
[01:08:53] He wants to go to Applebee's and force this woman to drink milk.
[01:08:59] To drink dairy.
[01:09:00] Like, yeah, if he wants one, that's great.
[01:09:02] Have as much as you want.
[01:09:04] Imagine just like imagine this is the love of your life who
[01:09:08] has been gone for over a month and you're seeing him and
[01:09:12] you're like, oh my God, I want to like, did you break your
[01:09:15] leg? Did you win a million dollars?
[01:09:16] And the first thing this man says to you doesn't like embrace
[01:09:20] you whatsoever is like, okay, we'll just keep walking.
[01:09:23] Can you pick up the bag and follow me babe?
[01:09:25] We're going to Applebee's right now.
[01:09:27] Honey, I missed you so much.
[01:09:28] Hey, I'm not here to talk about that.
[01:09:31] We're going to Applebee's.
[01:09:33] He's going to stop at the airport Applebee's as well.
[01:09:36] Like he can't even be forced to go to the restaurant.
[01:09:38] He's going to the one in the rest in the airport.
[01:09:40] He's going to grab it to go and then just meet her at baggage
[01:09:43] claim and be like, hey drink this milkshake.
[01:09:45] She's like, babe, I'm not a fan of milk.
[01:09:47] You know, I don't like milk.
[01:09:48] I know you've been gone for a while.
[01:09:49] It's like no, no, no.
[01:09:49] What I'm going to chase it with these big-ass mozzarella sticks.
[01:09:53] Honey, he trying to big in his back this summer, you know,
[01:09:56] I guess I just really think that you should try to talk about
[01:09:59] that with your wife before you go and force her to drink dairy.
[01:10:02] He's out here forcing Liz to eat or to miss out on food.
[01:10:07] And then he's like his first his first goal is to get back
[01:10:09] and do the same thing to his wife.
[01:10:10] Maybe Liz change cues mind and said, okay, hey, it's mind
[01:10:15] over matter with these food allergies.
[01:10:18] Yeah, stop holding things in.
[01:10:19] She's like I've been trying to tell you for years.
[01:10:21] I don't like milk.
[01:10:22] He's like, oh, yeah.
[01:10:23] Okay, she can stop now.
[01:10:25] Let me ask a question that is on all of our brains.
[01:10:28] Would Q and Emily have a conjugal visit inside of the Apple
[01:10:32] bees upon each other?
[01:10:33] Okay, because it's been a long time since they've seen each
[01:10:37] other. I think he was a very efficient man.
[01:10:40] Could he be thinking like loving romantic reunion with my
[01:10:44] wife Applebee's?
[01:10:46] Yeah, why not like that beloved appetizer platter?
[01:10:49] Can I not have both at the same time interesting even to
[01:10:52] interesting?
[01:10:53] Talk about eating good in the neighborhood.
[01:10:56] Yeah, could he not get an Applebee's?
[01:10:57] Yeah.
[01:10:58] No.
[01:10:59] Okay.
[01:10:59] All right, Mike.
[01:11:00] All right.
[01:11:00] This is where it's a spray bottle.
[01:11:03] Where's the spray bottle?
[01:11:04] Yeah.
[01:11:05] Okay.
[01:11:07] I don't know but the Q had this really planned out even in
[01:11:14] his final words at the end of the episode.
[01:11:17] He's planned out this whole date night at Applebee's.
[01:11:20] Oh, get ready, baby.
[01:11:21] We're going to Applebee's and we're getting that appetizer
[01:11:24] platter and we gonna share it and what you don't eat I will.
[01:11:29] This is like more of a threat than a date.
[01:11:33] This is shades of Rudy being like, I got some friends that
[01:11:36] will take care of these people back home.
[01:11:39] Then if you don't eat it, I will damn it.
[01:11:40] He's like, oh my God, you know.
[01:11:44] Yeah, I think it feels like Q had never had Applebee's before
[01:11:47] and Liz has talked it up so much that he's like, I finally
[01:11:51] had it for the first time.
[01:11:52] I have to have it again because it was so good on.
[01:11:55] But what he's going to realize is when he's not starving
[01:11:57] anymore, it's just regular.
[01:11:59] It's just Applebee's.
[01:12:00] Yeah, it's literally just Applebee's.
[01:12:02] So at first Applebee's is gonna be great.
[01:12:04] The second time not so much.
[01:12:05] Yeah, it's not going to compare to like being by the beach
[01:12:08] in Fiji being served on hand by Survivor production members
[01:12:12] like you're gonna get this like 19 year old person serving
[01:12:15] you up a warmed up burger in the microwave.
[01:12:19] Yes, it's absolutely going to pale in comparison.
[01:12:22] Yeah.
[01:12:23] All right, but Q really doing a great job of help.
[01:12:27] Maybe Applebee's can bounce back after this between Q and
[01:12:30] Liz.
[01:12:31] Mm-hmm.
[01:12:32] Yeah, that's I mean, I imagine Q is also an entrepreneurial
[01:12:35] spirit like yeah, he was obviously jockeying for this,
[01:12:40] right?
[01:12:40] Like he said, I've got to mention this as much as possible.
[01:12:44] I got a Truman show this and do like in-house advertising
[01:12:48] because Liz can talk all he want.
[01:12:49] I got to go to Applebee's.
[01:12:51] Do you think any part of him is like, okay, I'm gonna spite
[01:12:54] Liz even further.
[01:12:56] If what if I get the Applebee's endorsement after this season?
[01:12:59] Yeah, I took your thing now.
[01:13:02] I'm the Applebee's guy.
[01:13:04] Well, Charlie is aiming so high for Taylor Swift.
[01:13:08] I think Q was like, I mentioned Applebee's a few times.
[01:13:11] I think that's more obtainable, you know, I feel like the
[01:13:13] Taylor Swift is such a lofty goal, but is Applebee's turning
[01:13:17] down the Q, you know, a partnership?
[01:13:19] Probably not.
[01:13:20] Everybody's like, okay, whatever.
[01:13:21] It's not hard.
[01:13:21] This is the only probably person named Q that Applebee's
[01:13:25] would want an endorsement from.
[01:13:26] Hmm.
[01:13:27] Yeah.
[01:13:28] Okay.
[01:13:28] I will also say Gray did point in the chat Red Lobster just
[01:13:31] declared bankruptcy.
[01:13:32] Sorry, Debbie is now out of a job.
[01:13:34] I think.
[01:13:38] She was a server.
[01:13:39] That's true.
[01:13:40] Yeah.
[01:13:42] Yeah.
[01:13:44] We need Red Lobster.
[01:13:45] We need Beyonce to drop Red Lobster in another song to get
[01:13:48] the hype back up.
[01:13:49] What about Applebee's?
[01:13:51] Applebee's?
[01:13:52] Look, times were good back when Beyonce was talking about
[01:13:54] Red Lobster.
[01:13:55] It's gotten dark these days.
[01:13:56] Bring us back to Red Lobster days, B.
[01:13:58] Kendall's camera is Club Condo Applebee's coded?
[01:14:01] Absolutely not.
[01:14:03] No, I mean, I will be out back till I die.
[01:14:08] So I guess, is that a competitor?
[01:14:11] Is it a compliment?
[01:14:12] I'm not entirely sure with these fast casual joints.
[01:14:15] Yeah, fast casual is not really my bag when it comes to food.
[01:14:18] But I think, yeah, I think you could call Club Condo something
[01:14:22] of like a, you know, it's casual.
[01:14:24] It's called a club, but you know, there's no dress code here.
[01:14:26] It's very relaxed.
[01:14:28] There's probably a lot of menu options as well.
[01:14:30] We talk about a lot of things.
[01:14:31] Maybe there's a little bit of Applebee's to us.
[01:14:33] Maybe just a pinch.
[01:14:35] Mike, we were talking about the Greatest Confessionals last
[01:14:41] week with the newsletter.
[01:14:42] By the way, if you haven't checked out our new reality TV newsletter
[01:14:47] that we're doing here on RHAP working with Kevin Jacobs of Big
[01:14:51] Brother Canada fame, you could subscribe at reality tv newsletters.com.
[01:14:55] I worked on the Mount Rushmore of all-time confessional givers.
[01:14:59] You pointed out that maybe Q should have been in the discussion
[01:15:04] of people included in that list.
[01:15:07] He did have an all-timer this week.
[01:15:10] It was actually a rather quiet episode for Q other than this one
[01:15:14] particular moment and it was wild.
[01:15:17] Yeah, it was absolutely bananas.
[01:15:21] There are, listen, the path of survivor, the path like since
[01:15:25] Guatemala has been laid with these confessionals of look at this.
[01:15:29] I found an idol.
[01:15:30] We've seen it all.
[01:15:31] We've seen the happy dance.
[01:15:32] We've seen the bing.
[01:15:33] We've seen that this is huge.
[01:15:35] I needed this.
[01:15:36] In my opinion, it's tough to really liven it up, to make it new,
[01:15:40] to make it sparkly.
[01:15:41] Only someone like Q could succeed in doing that.
[01:15:43] Yeah, so I have a couple of clips from this confessional goes on
[01:15:46] for a while, but here are the highlights.
[01:15:47] Okay, here's part one.
[01:15:49] People, I've looked for days, days and hours on days, nothing.
[01:16:01] Days, days, and hours.
[01:16:05] Well now I'm just thinking about like is Q trying to load
[01:16:08] everything up with subliminal messaging of stuff he should be
[01:16:10] on. Could Q be jocking to be on days of our lives?
[01:16:14] Days of our lives, different network.
[01:16:16] Yeah, he'd be like, you gotta be bold out here.
[01:16:20] Bold and beautiful.
[01:16:22] And beautiful.
[01:16:22] And beautiful.
[01:16:23] I'm bold.
[01:16:24] And then so Q's really like setting us up for revealing this
[01:16:30] idol. This is the part that gets pretty wild.
[01:16:34] I've told myself, Q, calm down.
[01:16:37] Calm for the last handful of days. Handful of. My hand is
[01:16:43] starting to hurt.
[01:16:45] I need the storm.
[01:16:48] Okay, I believe those are things overheard in an Applebee's.
[01:16:55] A handful of days.
[01:16:57] My hand is starting to hurt.
[01:17:00] I need the storm.
[01:17:02] Yeah, what is he talking about?
[01:17:03] Is there a through line between those three thoughts?
[01:17:05] Yeah, so is he holding the days in his hands?
[01:17:09] The only thing I'm thinking is because is his hand hurting
[01:17:11] because he's like looking for the idol or is his hand hurting
[01:17:13] because there's only a handful of days. Only a handful of
[01:17:16] days. And so he's tired of holding those days.
[01:17:19] He's got a big grasp on them. But is it like are the days themselves
[01:17:21] like spiky?
[01:17:23] Are they burrs?
[01:17:24] And it's like hours. Days, days, days. His William Shatner moment.
[01:17:30] Days! He's got to hold them up for so long.
[01:17:37] Yeah, like this man would consider himself Atlas of like
[01:17:39] I have the whole survival world on my shoulders.
[01:17:42] I've been holding up for a handful of days and I'm tired.
[01:17:44] I'm ready to quit.
[01:17:45] Yeah, and then finally the reveal from Q.
[01:17:48] You just sit right there.
[01:17:49] Hold on. Let me go in my pocket.
[01:17:50] What's in my pocket?
[01:17:52] What's it might be something.
[01:17:54] Oh, what's what's what's the matter?
[01:17:55] What's going on?
[01:17:56] Look what I found.
[01:17:57] Oh Lord.
[01:17:57] Is Q about to show me the idol or is he my uncle pulling a
[01:18:03] quarter out of my ear?
[01:18:05] No, Robby's got your nose.
[01:18:07] You know, he's like,
[01:18:08] Did you?
[01:18:09] Look at that.
[01:18:11] I got some right here.
[01:18:11] I got it.
[01:18:15] But I love the fact that he may took like he had some sort
[01:18:18] of feral creature trapped in there and then it also took him
[01:18:20] by surprise.
[01:18:21] He's like, hold on a second.
[01:18:23] What?
[01:18:25] Like what?
[01:18:26] What did he initially expect in this cruise when he was reaching
[01:18:29] it there?
[01:18:29] And then what did he receive and exchange?
[01:18:32] This makes so much sense in our interviews.
[01:18:34] Rob Q said that he never let anyone in on anything.
[01:18:37] He was never doing at any point in time, including production.
[01:18:41] This is perfect.
[01:18:42] He is that Kevin Malone confessional of like sometimes I just
[01:18:45] say things and I don't know how the sentence is going to end
[01:18:47] of him being like, all right, everybody look what I've got
[01:18:50] the old Q's group.
[01:18:55] And I'm not pulling it out again for the rest of the episode.
[01:18:57] Now whip it out.
[01:18:58] Yeah, it's the suspense was killing us.
[01:19:01] He's such a showman.
[01:19:02] I think that's really what people need to take away from this.
[01:19:04] It's not that Q is just good in confessional.
[01:19:06] It's just he's having all these moments by himself, you know,
[01:19:09] the finding the idol.
[01:19:10] He doesn't need to play off of somebody else.
[01:19:12] He can really just own the television screen like this on his
[01:19:14] own.
[01:19:16] Yeah, I think he's in that conversation for the best confessional
[01:19:18] givers for sure.
[01:19:19] Yeah.
[01:19:20] I talked to Q the other day.
[01:19:21] I asked about Survivor 50.
[01:19:23] No surprise.
[01:19:24] He's definitely up for that.
[01:19:25] But do we think Q could potentially do another reality show
[01:19:31] in addition to Survivor 50?
[01:19:33] Survivor AU versus Survivor US.
[01:19:35] Gotcha.
[01:19:35] Mm-Hmm.
[01:19:36] Maybe.
[01:19:37] Well, I think not only would I say get Q for the traitors,
[01:19:41] I say get the entire Yanu tribe and put them on the trail.
[01:19:46] Put the cast of Survivor 46 on the traitors as a whole.
[01:19:50] Just move them just right after the finale.
[01:19:53] All right, you all get on the plane.
[01:19:55] Q would be great on the traitors, no doubt.
[01:19:57] But I'm just trying to be like realistic about it.
[01:19:59] So like the Australian Survivor thing, like he's going to be
[01:20:03] under contract.
[01:20:03] He's not going to be able to do it.
[01:20:06] Is it possible though, Mike, could he squeeze in the challenge
[01:20:11] that it's all part of the Viacom Paramount conglomerate?
[01:20:16] For now.
[01:20:17] For now.
[01:20:18] Yeah.
[01:20:18] So that's the other thing as well.
[01:20:20] We'll see what the shape of the challenge looks like maybe in
[01:20:23] a few months.
[01:20:24] I could.
[01:20:24] Michelle did the challenge and came back and did Survivor winners
[01:20:28] at war.
[01:20:29] Yeah, that's true.
[01:20:30] So it's not exactly unprecedented.
[01:20:33] I think the matter for Q would be like if he has to choose between
[01:20:37] shows, what would he rather do?
[01:20:39] And look, I think the traitors is a more lucrative opportunity
[01:20:43] as well as a less physically conducive opportunity.
[01:20:46] Though I think Q would be one of the best Survivor casting choices
[01:20:50] in Challenge history because he is not afraid to mix it up
[01:20:54] whatsoever.
[01:20:55] Yeah, I don't think that like the traitors in the short term
[01:20:58] is not a realistic possibility just because he's still going
[01:21:01] to be under contract.
[01:21:02] I don't think they're going to let Q go do the traitors, but
[01:21:04] I do think that the challenge if Q has a choice between the
[01:21:07] challenge or Survivor 50 Chappelle, is it crazy to think that
[01:21:12] the challenge would be a better spot for him?
[01:21:18] Better probably.
[01:21:19] I don't know because Q isn't really challenge coded to me.
[01:21:22] Yeah, yeah, he doesn't give because the challenge competitors
[01:21:26] are normally like these young single people that like to fight
[01:21:29] and get drunk and maybe hook up every now and then.
[01:21:31] Q's married with kids, you know, like he's not really in that
[01:21:34] same vein.
[01:21:35] Also, he's not that good at challenges y'all.
[01:21:37] He hasn't won anything.
[01:21:38] Chappelle, he was throwing all those to be fair.
[01:21:41] Yeah, he also quit four times and said he wasn't going to
[01:21:43] quit. I heard it.
[01:21:44] I've read the interviews.
[01:21:45] I see that but at the same time, at some point you got to
[01:21:48] win something for me to take you seriously on a show called
[01:21:50] The Challenge.
[01:21:50] That's all I'm saying.
[01:21:51] Now, it also could be that when Q comes back from filming
[01:21:56] a reality show, he goes to Applebee's. These other people on
[01:21:59] the challenge, they immediately start pre-gaming for the
[01:22:01] next season.
[01:22:02] Like, yeah, he's got houses to sell, you know?
[01:22:05] I don't know if he necessarily wants to get into that.
[01:22:07] Yeah, that's the thing Rob.
[01:22:08] Everybody wants to come and play Survivor again, but the
[01:22:10] challenge people, they literally lock in for the rest of
[01:22:14] their lives.
[01:22:14] You play the challenge one time and you're on call.
[01:22:17] They're like, all right, it's your turn again.
[01:22:18] They're like, what?
[01:22:19] So they're out here working out, doing steroids, pre-gaming,
[01:22:22] having sex, all that kind of stuff just because they know
[01:22:24] in the next four weeks, they're going to go right back out
[01:22:26] on the island and do it all over again or whatever country
[01:22:29] they're in.
[01:22:29] So yeah, I don't think Q has the time to just spend the
[01:22:31] rest of his life doing the challenge circuit.
[01:22:33] It'd be different if he could do one and done, but they don't
[01:22:35] really do that on a challenge like that.
[01:22:37] Well, the other thing about Q as well is that he was advent
[01:22:40] from the time that I talked to him before the season to
[01:22:42] after the season.
[01:22:43] He's like, I don't need the money.
[01:22:45] You can rip up that check right now.
[01:22:47] If I want to make a million dollars, I could stay here for
[01:22:49] two days, I believe is what he directly told me.
[01:22:52] I was here for the title.
[01:22:54] I think the title of challenge champion does not hold nearly
[01:22:57] as much weight.
[01:22:59] It is maybe the appetizer platter compared to the main
[01:23:01] dish, but I am really obsessed now with Chappelle's idea.
[01:23:05] I've just put the entire 46 cast on a season of traitors.
[01:23:08] Like people say rerun the same survivor season with the
[01:23:11] same cast.
[01:23:12] No, I say put them in a completely different environment.
[01:23:14] Could you imagine as soon as Alan raises the blindfolds like
[01:23:19] a third of the cast immediately points at Venus and says it's
[01:23:21] her.
[01:23:24] Wow.
[01:23:24] The whole cast is on the traitors.
[01:23:27] Yeah, yeah.
[01:23:30] It's just the traitors.
[01:23:31] Could you imagine?
[01:23:32] Bonu is there?
[01:23:33] Yeah, he's obviously a traitor.
[01:23:34] Obviously Bonu would be a traitor for our maximum.
[01:23:38] Which is a lie.
[01:23:39] We found out.
[01:23:41] Biker music.
[01:23:41] It's a background there.
[01:23:46] Wow.
[01:23:46] Yeah, I can see that.
[01:23:48] I could definitely see, you know what?
[01:23:49] Because that would be fun.
[01:23:51] That would really be fun to watch them all try to backstab
[01:23:53] each other after already backstabbing each other one time
[01:23:56] like none of them would trust anybody, you know, throughout
[01:23:59] this episode we get Charlie and Maria saying, oh, yeah, well,
[01:24:01] you know, we're gonna be friends forever and I can't wait to
[01:24:04] my kids meet Uncle Charlie as she's attempting to vote him
[01:24:07] out, you know?
[01:24:07] So yeah, there's no way she says I'm not a traitor.
[01:24:11] I'm a faithful and Charlie's like sure Jan, you know, she's
[01:24:13] gone to I would I want to see that give you more opportunities
[01:24:16] to play more games and backstab each other.
[01:24:18] What's Dwight doing blood on the clock tower?
[01:24:20] You know, just keep casting these same people over and over
[01:24:23] again until pretty wild if Dwight could get the whole survivor
[01:24:26] 46 class cast to play blood on the clock.
[01:24:28] I mean, I would I would love to see you know, they go up
[01:24:31] to the traitors turret and Jalinski unrobes himself immediately
[01:24:34] walks down to the house and yells like I'm not deceptful.
[01:24:37] I'm a traitor by the way, maybe we can play this later on.
[01:24:41] We'll work together.
[01:24:42] They're like who who murdered Kenzie last night and bands
[01:24:46] like it was mean it was accident.
[01:24:47] I was trying to murder my accident.
[01:24:51] Silly me.
[01:24:52] Well, yeah.
[01:24:54] Yeah.
[01:24:55] Okay.
[01:24:57] Mike, did you notice that the survivors brought all of their
[01:25:02] supplies to the camp or to tribal council last night expecting
[01:25:07] Okay, we're going to go set up on our own Beach, but did
[01:25:13] survivor stop doing this?
[01:25:16] I think so.
[01:25:18] I mean, I guess people might have to decrypt if the landmarks
[01:25:21] we see in the next time on the big like cinematic.
[01:25:24] I saw them sitting on the boat in the preview.
[01:25:27] Well, we know they love that boat and maybe they maybe they
[01:25:31] insisted in their rider.
[01:25:31] Like if we're going to a new camp the boat comes with us.
[01:25:35] The boat is as much of a member of this tribe as the rest of
[01:25:38] us.
[01:25:38] She felt did you notice this that like they had like the paint
[01:25:40] brushes and the tribe flag?
[01:25:43] No, no, I didn't.
[01:25:44] I didn't I didn't pick up on any of that.
[01:25:45] And now that you're mentioning it.
[01:25:46] I'm like, yeah, they do normally be like, all right at this
[01:25:48] point you go start over start over from scratch.
[01:25:51] You got a whole new thing going on, but they didn't do anything.
[01:25:53] Maybe Jeff is changing it up again.
[01:25:55] He wants to keep the new era fresh.
[01:25:56] No, no, no, no, no, no.
[01:25:58] I know exactly what this is.
[01:26:01] They are desperate to have someone find an idol.
[01:26:05] And so they think what's our best chance of doing it?
[01:26:07] If we send them off to a new camp, they're going to have no
[01:26:10] idea where to look.
[01:26:12] There's a chance.
[01:26:12] No one's going to find that idol and an idol will not be played
[01:26:15] this season.
[01:26:15] We need to put it right in the middle of camp with a big sign
[01:26:19] pointing to it say play me and then we force them to play it.
[01:26:23] I think this is a way to facilitate like hey, you might want
[01:26:26] to go hunting for an idol again and watch it go around the local
[01:26:29] hunts.
[01:26:30] They did re-hide an idol at the final five on the new camp and
[01:26:34] remember Lauren was very close to finding it.
[01:26:37] Maybe they and Lauren did not find it at the new camp.
[01:26:40] So that is an interesting theory.
[01:26:43] Jeff ended the tribal council and told them grab your torch and
[01:26:45] send back to camp.
[01:26:47] Yeah, so it doesn't seem like they are going to a new beach.
[01:26:52] And only who cares they do.
[01:26:54] Yeah, I don't care.
[01:26:55] Only Maria knows that Q has has an idol that he did not play
[01:26:59] and went home with so I'm expecting us next episode to see Maria
[01:27:03] doing a mad dash for this idol and based on her luck that would
[01:27:08] be the end of her game too because she's not going to play it.
[01:27:10] She's going to go home.
[01:27:11] Wow.
[01:27:11] Yeah, I mean it is interesting because Charlie does say in this
[01:27:15] episode.
[01:27:15] He's like, yeah, you know, they might be searching for something
[01:27:17] but I don't think something's out there.
[01:27:19] So maybe he did take Venus at her word of like much like Q did
[01:27:24] I got what's in here Charlie?
[01:27:26] Oh, what do I got?
[01:27:27] I'm not going to tell you and thinks that maybe she went out
[01:27:30] with an idol and maybe like one wouldn't get played and so nobody's
[01:27:33] going to look but also if these people want to pursue because we've
[01:27:37] also seen like tailing happen not as much in this season as the
[01:27:40] other ones, but I would imagine if I'm these other four my mo
[01:27:44] would be hey start following around Maria as much as possible
[01:27:47] to prevent her from getting the idol.
[01:27:49] If Maria at the final five has an idol that expires at the final
[01:27:54] five and doesn't play it and goes home.
[01:27:56] So I got to bring it to the final trial because that's going to
[01:27:58] be my big move.
[01:27:59] It is bringing a five pound piece of poop is showing hell at
[01:28:03] my own tribal.
[01:28:03] Yeah, I got to have what am I going to show?
[01:28:05] What am I going to show people?
[01:28:06] Oh my God.
[01:28:07] Yeah, the way the internet would explode.
[01:28:09] I kind of want to see it.
[01:28:10] Yeah, Mike.
[01:28:11] Do you think that they're going to just hide an idol or do you
[01:28:14] think they're going to hide an advantage also?
[01:28:17] I don't think they do both because we still have, you know, three
[01:28:21] hours for the whole shebang and yeah, we don't necessarily see
[01:28:25] them take part in a challenge.
[01:28:26] Maybe they feel like there's so much exhaustion going on between
[01:28:29] Liz and Ben.
[01:28:30] We don't want to pull an Eric Reichenbach the second time and
[01:28:33] like have to medivac someone in the final five that being said.
[01:28:37] I will also put out a bit of a prediction for the finale.
[01:28:41] Yes, there's a nonzero chance that Ben plays his own encore
[01:28:46] out at the final four if you catch my drift.
[01:28:49] Um, can you specify what you mean?
[01:28:53] You help me catch it.
[01:28:54] Are you saying are you saying that he could he could leave the
[01:28:57] walk out of the game at the final four or fail in fire making?
[01:29:02] I think my guesstimate this entire time is that Ben has goes out
[01:29:06] in the final four no matter what I look back to with Survivor in
[01:29:10] the new era loves to do moments of foreshadowing when it comes
[01:29:13] to fire.
[01:29:14] We go back to Deshaun in 41 struggling to make fire in the
[01:29:17] first couple days matches up really nicely to like him surprisingly
[01:29:20] beating Heather, of course everything with Carson and his fireproof
[01:29:24] glasses and I we had been in episode to start his scenes off by
[01:29:30] making fire and crying about it and talking about how you know,
[01:29:34] this is a moment where he still feels like that insecure kid
[01:29:37] sometimes that was, you know getting bullied back in school.
[01:29:40] And so he celebrates these little victories.
[01:29:42] I could see that as like again almost like the reverse dish on
[01:29:45] having a comparable moment where like he goes in against Charlie
[01:29:48] the dumb and dumber Alliance that fail together on the savvy
[01:29:51] puzzle on day one is now faced off against each other and he
[01:29:55] loses or it honestly could be a moment where he's like as this
[01:30:01] point, there's a chance.
[01:30:02] I might like light my head on fire if I am trying to make something
[01:30:06] right now because I am so tired.
[01:30:07] I am so out of it.
[01:30:09] I am ready to just step out right now.
[01:30:11] If I'm not getting taken to the final three.
[01:30:13] Yeah, that's so interesting that he would not even like almost
[01:30:17] like as a gesture of I'm going to like seed my spot in the final
[01:30:21] three here.
[01:30:22] You take it you deserve it more than me.
[01:30:24] You think you could do something like that?
[01:30:26] I think yeah, I think there's a chance you could do it for Kenzie
[01:30:29] because like listen there there is this idea that has certainly
[01:30:33] been talked about in Survivor parlance of like, you know, giving
[01:30:36] your spots to deserving people quote-unquote.
[01:30:39] Maybe Ben could feel in that moment with how much Kenzie has been
[01:30:43] supporting him.
[01:30:43] He's like, I'd you know what it honestly is.
[01:30:46] Is it not unlike another Survivor contestant named Ben where he's
[01:30:51] like, I'm going to get torn apart by the jury.
[01:30:53] I don't want to necessarily get to the end at this point.
[01:30:56] Why don't I just step out?
[01:30:58] I had a rock in time.
[01:30:59] Let me go get some food.
[01:31:00] I don't think that Ben said I had a rock in time.
[01:31:02] Right?
[01:31:03] I'm getting brownies.
[01:31:04] It's far.
[01:31:05] Yeah.
[01:31:06] What are you doing?
[01:31:07] Browning.
[01:31:08] Let's be clear.
[01:31:09] Yeah, interesting.
[01:31:12] Do you think that the jury Chappelle would like like let's say let's
[01:31:16] say it's been in Kenzie.
[01:31:18] Okay.
[01:31:18] All right.
[01:31:20] And like say say Charlie Maria is gone at five.
[01:31:24] I think that's probably a safe.
[01:31:25] I say one of them is gone.
[01:31:27] One of them is gone.
[01:31:28] The other one wins the final four immunity says I'm taking Liz to
[01:31:32] the finals.
[01:31:33] Okay, Ben and Kenzie and and Ben stands up for the jury and says, you
[01:31:38] know what man?
[01:31:38] I'm going to just like I'm just going to play my way out.
[01:31:42] Okay, but this person right here.
[01:31:44] Let me tell you about this.
[01:31:45] My best friend and my island sister right here.
[01:31:48] She rocks.
[01:31:51] I'm on the jury like boo boo been de la Christ.
[01:31:55] No one asked for this.
[01:31:56] Exactly.
[01:31:56] Yeah.
[01:31:57] Yeah.
[01:31:59] No, no, stop it.
[01:32:00] Stop it.
[01:32:00] Nobody would hate that.
[01:32:02] I would hate that been you've come so far at least go sit next to
[01:32:05] whoever at the final travel Council and try to get a vote.
[01:32:08] I you know, I don't I don't think Ben's played a bad game but for
[01:32:12] him to get to this point and really just fold under the pressure of
[01:32:15] I'm so tired.
[01:32:16] I haven't eaten.
[01:32:17] I'm really going to start to wonder could the new Eric cast even
[01:32:20] you know, could they handle the old school Survivor?
[01:32:23] Oh, 20 some days.
[01:32:25] It's harder.
[01:32:26] Maybe it is but listen, but maybe it's harder and different.
[01:32:31] Here's my here's my happy medium, right?
[01:32:33] So you yes, there were more days on the older Survivor, but they
[01:32:36] probably had more food.
[01:32:37] They brought they had more time to sleep.
[01:32:39] They had more days specifically had time to bond with each other.
[01:32:42] Some of these blind sides are happening back-to-back literally
[01:32:45] within, you know, roughly 18 hours of each other.
[01:32:47] There's not three days, you know, to really recover from that and
[01:32:51] build some of these bonds.
[01:32:52] So I'm just saying maybe it's just different.
[01:32:55] Maybe you can't take this cast and expect the same type of productivity
[01:32:58] from a longer season and maybe the longer seasons you can't take them
[01:33:01] and put them in this fast-paced game and they would do as well as
[01:33:04] they did in, you know, the first time around.
[01:33:06] I was going to offer up the theory of that is it possible in this
[01:33:10] season in particular where they they this is the one season in the
[01:33:13] new era.
[01:33:14] They did not get the rice at day 16 for the tribe.
[01:33:17] These people are going off of just rewards that they've won and
[01:33:22] vibes and could that be contributing to sort of like the the fogginess
[01:33:28] and the brain farts and the people not playing their idols and some
[01:33:31] of the gameplay that we've seen the mistakes.
[01:33:33] I mean, I think starvation certainly amplifies some certain qualities
[01:33:39] about you.
[01:33:39] Some people are hangry.
[01:33:41] Some people get had I guess, you know sad or some people even get
[01:33:45] more energized.
[01:33:46] They have like that that desperate second or third.
[01:33:49] You make a hungry and sad is had.
[01:33:52] I mean, I guess I was sungry.
[01:33:54] I guess would be the other portmanteau and it doesn't work as well.
[01:33:56] Yeah, because a lot of people did get had in the season.
[01:33:59] Exactly.
[01:34:00] They've had it their days days.
[01:34:03] I do think days upon days upon hours upon days is not what the old
[01:34:09] school survivor contestants were screaming as well.
[01:34:11] Ever when Jeff said that one thing days, but I do think that I think
[01:34:16] that I would imagine Ben's, you know, struggling from these night
[01:34:20] terrors, which like God my heart goes out to him.
[01:34:23] I mean, this month in May is National Mental Health Awareness
[01:34:26] Month and like to have sleepless nights now when you're in like
[01:34:30] the comfort of your own home is absolutely miserable add on top
[01:34:33] of that all the pressures of the game in the desolation and it
[01:34:35] just feels like he probably feels like a zombie at a certain point
[01:34:39] like a dead head in a manner of speaking.
[01:34:41] So I would not be surprised.
[01:34:43] Yeah, but I would not be surprised if the fact that these shrewd
[01:34:47] ass people did not let anyone have a morsel of rice except for
[01:34:52] Liz who decided to take the game into her own hands in the form
[01:34:54] of a jar of rice that she will probably fill.
[01:34:56] You know what that jar is going to be perfect for Mike.
[01:34:58] Exactly like this was had I set up for a rice now it's still filled
[01:35:04] with it.
[01:35:04] This is the aftermath.
[01:35:06] That's every pound of poo.
[01:35:08] I had a direct one to one conversion.
[01:35:13] Yeah, the rice went directly into the jar.
[01:35:15] Much like my game metamorphosis.
[01:35:18] Survivors like pooping in the jar Jeff, you know.
[01:35:31] But yeah, I think it's a very valid point that I would not be
[01:35:33] surprised if we looked back and were like these people legitimately
[01:35:37] went insane because of the fact they purposely starved themselves
[01:35:40] more than even the five seasons before them.
[01:35:41] It's too much.
[01:35:43] Took it too far.
[01:35:45] We flew too close to the sun everybody.
[01:35:50] We made it.
[01:35:51] Just give these people some food.
[01:35:53] Give them a little bit.
[01:35:54] Feed them.
[01:35:55] Again, I think was it Survivor Season 1?
[01:35:58] They were giving them rations like okay, we're doing food drops.
[01:36:02] They were giving them food drops and everything and then by what
[01:36:07] season 2 they're like, okay, everybody get one Dorito.
[01:36:11] You know, the food situation fluctuates with these seasons so
[01:36:16] much that now we're just like, yeah, let's not feed them at all.
[01:36:18] Just let them stay out there.
[01:36:20] They're in a reward.
[01:36:22] They can eat but other than that they cannot eat and they cannot
[01:36:24] take back any food.
[01:36:25] No one's sneaking any mints under their tongue to bring back to
[01:36:28] the rest of the tribe or anything like that.
[01:36:30] This is bad.
[01:36:31] This is bad.
[01:36:32] So yeah, I'm a little sympathetic to the new Era cast.
[01:36:35] I just think that it's very different when the production just
[01:36:37] leaves you out there for dead.
[01:36:39] Now that being said, I do like and I don't think this is a direct
[01:36:42] response because they do plan out these rewards ahead of time.
[01:36:44] But I do feel like this is the new Era Season that it had the most
[01:36:47] like individual reward wins, which we always love and the reason
[01:36:52] why has been seen in the past three episodes, which is it always
[01:36:56] causes drama no matter what you could be the most like hardened
[01:37:00] game bot version of a Survivor Castaway, but you're going to
[01:37:03] feel a certain way if you're deprived of a meal or you're deprived
[01:37:06] And I think it goes to show and I think what they did at the
[01:37:10] Maria last immunity challenge with the Venus vote is the perfect
[01:37:14] way to do it.
[01:37:15] Like if you can't do separate reward challenges and immunity
[01:37:17] challenges in every episode, make it a dual reward immunity
[01:37:20] challenge.
[01:37:21] Have the reward get enjoyed back at camp just like 50 feet away,
[01:37:24] but bring that in every episode because not only does that light
[01:37:28] up the drama, it also lights up the metabolism of these contestants.
[01:37:31] Yeah, not to mention also Mike that you know, these people are
[01:37:34] hungrier than they've ever been before and so these reward choices
[01:37:37] are super impactful and we saw a lot in the new Era a lot of like
[01:37:42] okay, random teams and you know, it has been very few times maybe
[01:37:47] won a season but we've had what three times this season the person
[01:37:50] who won the reward has to pick who was coming with them.
[01:37:53] Yeah, it was at 8 right all at 876.
[01:37:56] Yeah, it should happen all the time.
[01:37:57] It's somebody's going to have to do it at 5.
[01:37:59] Yeah, we're going to get four in a row much like the streak of
[01:38:03] Idol flushes.
[01:38:04] It should happen every time though.
[01:38:06] I think there should literally be a punishment for going out and
[01:38:08] winning immunity and I'm not saying that oh, yeah, like we should
[01:38:11] discourage people from wanting to win it but we want more drama.
[01:38:14] We're trying to jam-pack all of the survival fun into this shorter
[01:38:18] amount of time make it to where yeah, you really need to do this
[01:38:21] but you might show your hand if you win immunity because then you
[01:38:24] have to pick people and it'll be very clear who you're working
[01:38:27] with and it'll kind of expose people and make people actually
[01:38:30] have to strategize on a deeper level, right?
[01:38:31] It's less about okay.
[01:38:33] Do I need to win the immunity challenge just because I need to be
[01:38:35] immune or should I be throwing the challenge because I don't want
[01:38:37] to show too many people what I got going on with my alliances.
[01:38:40] I'm sorry.
[01:38:41] I just have to say an intrusive thought.
[01:38:42] Okay, day 26.
[01:38:44] You could certainly say I helped flush for idols out of the game,
[01:38:49] but you know what?
[01:38:49] I didn't flush this jar poop, you know, five pounds of victory and
[01:39:00] I hope you give me a million pounds.
[01:39:02] I have nothing weighing me down now.
[01:39:05] Literally, she just throws it all into the fire like I'm imagining
[01:39:09] Liz like Looney Tunes style and that immunity challenge just running
[01:39:12] across the water now.
[01:39:13] She's like I've got it.
[01:39:15] I'm lighter than air.
[01:39:16] Yeah.
[01:39:18] Okay.
[01:39:23] Mike, we're coming up on the finale of the season and we always
[01:39:28] like to, you know, do some things here on the what is our final
[01:39:33] podcast before the Survivor finale.
[01:39:37] We look ahead to a reunion of reunion and after show which I am
[01:39:42] particularly excited for.
[01:39:44] I think it would be the best one.
[01:39:46] Yeah, well listen in some people's opinion that might be a low bar,
[01:39:49] but I do think this might be what Jeff was was going forward with
[01:39:53] the initial angling of like we want to get people's emotions wrong
[01:39:57] in the moment.
[01:39:57] These people will not relent even the most well-fed jury members
[01:40:01] will be like choking up bites of pizza to speak their mind about
[01:40:05] how they felt about certain things.
[01:40:08] But imagine they get to that final Tribal Council.
[01:40:10] They do the reunion show Jeff brings out all the pizza and they
[01:40:14] forgot Liz, you know that just that reaction would just be perfect
[01:40:17] with a Liz.
[01:40:18] Oh my God.
[01:40:21] Can we get somebody please anybody something a celery stick something
[01:40:25] anything, you know, I got this right.
[01:40:28] Check out this mitt.
[01:40:30] What the heck you ho bags imagine and they're going to give them
[01:40:35] alcohol.
[01:40:37] Oh my God.
[01:40:38] That's always give them a champagne champagne.
[01:40:41] Oh, yeah, and that's going to be interesting because I think the
[01:40:44] one thing well, I guess the the the drink they had the gummy shark
[01:40:48] bowl at Applebee's right was alcohol, but I feel like that didn't
[01:40:51] necessarily change the behavior of these players who have kind of
[01:40:54] always to Ben's point been operating in an inebriated state this
[01:40:57] entire season.
[01:40:59] I'm drunk.
[01:41:00] Okay, that's one of them.
[01:41:01] Well Mike, what is the what are some of the things that you are
[01:41:05] dying to see when we get to the reunion show?
[01:41:08] Yeah, should we do like a mock-up bingo card maybe come up with
[01:41:11] some like things we hope to see at the the live after show quote
[01:41:16] unquote live after show in particular to do like if you will.
[01:41:20] Okay, well Mike the first thing on my list has to be I want to
[01:41:23] know when the players find out that what we essentially found out
[01:41:28] watching on TV is that all of them were voted out with idols
[01:41:31] because they don't know this right?
[01:41:32] They don't know Venus has an idol.
[01:41:34] They don't know.
[01:41:35] Well Maria's only one who knows Q has an idol.
[01:41:37] They knew about Hunter's Idol.
[01:41:38] They knew about Tiffany's Idol because they told everybody Venus
[01:41:42] the only one who knows about Randon's Idol.
[01:41:44] He didn't even get to play, you know, I'm saying so I want to
[01:41:46] know when they finally compare when they tell them that Jim
[01:41:48] had the idol.
[01:41:50] So that's another that's another big question Rob.
[01:41:51] That's something that you and I asked a lot.
[01:41:53] Will any pre jurors be mentioned in this after show?
[01:41:58] Hmm gotta bring gotta bring up Banu gotta bring up on there's
[01:42:02] no way.
[01:42:03] Yeah, got a several to mention on the show.
[01:42:06] Yeah.
[01:42:07] Okay, which pre juror will get the most mentions?
[01:42:10] All right.
[01:42:10] I like this.
[01:42:11] So Chappelle says Banu Rob you say Jalinski or do you want to
[01:42:15] say Jem or Jalinski?
[01:42:16] Jalinski.
[01:42:17] What if they call seven several but what if it's a vote of
[01:42:21] seven to one?
[01:42:22] Is that a Jalinski mention?
[01:42:24] Yes, several is branded content.
[01:42:26] Despite how disparate these personalities are there is a very
[01:42:30] valid chance that they collude to purposely make the vote
[01:42:33] several to one.
[01:42:36] Well, I would be shocked.
[01:42:37] They could not get on the same page the whole season.
[01:42:39] I can't imagine right now.
[01:42:40] Yeah, they can't be the one thing they'd say guys do it for
[01:42:43] the meme.
[01:42:44] Come on do it for Jalinski.
[01:42:46] This one this season has been an entire meme in and of itself.
[01:42:50] Can this not be a meme in a final vote?
[01:42:53] It really it really has been a wild season.
[01:42:55] So yeah, the vote count is something else that I'm very
[01:42:59] interested in because you know, we've had you know, some very
[01:43:02] similar vote counts, you know for other seasons where it's
[01:43:05] like, oh this is kind of the pattern that we're following
[01:43:07] but I don't know.
[01:43:09] I want to spice it up.
[01:43:10] I want to see who these people are going to really vote for
[01:43:12] this.
[01:43:12] Is Liz able to get some votes?
[01:43:13] Does Ben get more than one vote?
[01:43:15] Is Maria versus Charlie who gets the vote?
[01:43:17] I'm very interested to find out how these all shake out.
[01:43:20] Okay.
[01:43:20] All right.
[01:43:21] Let's just lock in.
[01:43:22] Okay pre pre juror with the most mentions.
[01:43:25] I'm going to go with Jalinski.
[01:43:27] The legendary right?
[01:43:28] That's probably a good bet.
[01:43:29] I say Banu.
[01:43:31] I think Jalinski is number one on the board.
[01:43:32] I mean, yeah, it is tough too.
[01:43:34] That's a you know, slim pickings between the rest with no
[01:43:38] offense to the lovely people that got voted out or medivac.
[01:43:41] I will go with Jem just for that outside chance Rob to your
[01:43:44] point of like could she be mentioned as Jeff could be like
[01:43:47] and also you all didn't realize this but Jem had an idol.
[01:43:50] But they all thought that Maria thinks that Ben had the idol
[01:43:53] like is Maria going to be like, all right, Ben tell the truth
[01:43:56] now who had the idol you or Tim and it's like dude.
[01:43:59] I never had it and Jeff says hey, I do the interrogations
[01:44:02] here.
[01:44:04] Yeah.
[01:44:04] I mean Maria could have been an interrogator if you saw that
[01:44:07] secret scene.
[01:44:08] Yeah.
[01:44:08] Oh absolutely like she wasn't even questioning him.
[01:44:11] She said oh did Tim leave with your idol in his pocket?
[01:44:14] Mm-hmm.
[01:44:15] You like what?
[01:44:16] What are you talking about?
[01:44:17] What are you talking about?
[01:44:17] She's like, oh don't give me that you you know, what you
[01:44:19] know, don't play dumb with me.
[01:44:21] Right?
[01:44:22] Okay.
[01:44:22] Right.
[01:44:23] All right.
[01:44:23] So the second question should help brought up about the vote
[01:44:25] counts.
[01:44:26] Yes.
[01:44:27] Yeah, we get a wild vote count this time Rob or is this going
[01:44:30] to be pretty straightforward?
[01:44:31] I will go I will go maximum chaos here.
[01:44:34] I think it's only fitting that Survivor 46 and the way nature
[01:44:37] intended.
[01:44:38] I think we get a 4-4 tie and the third place finisher breaks
[01:44:41] the tie on the island.
[01:44:42] Okay.
[01:44:43] I know that's not that is a trendy theory, but I kind of
[01:44:47] feel like that we are going to be disappointed if we go in
[01:44:52] thinking that I certainly understand how it could happen.
[01:44:57] I'm going to say I don't think we get a tie vote.
[01:45:00] I would like to know how it could happen because it's the
[01:45:02] first time I'm hearing about this theory.
[01:45:03] I'm not I'm not I'm not happy.
[01:45:05] You want the honors to talk this through?
[01:45:08] So let's like let's yada yada through the first two hours
[01:45:10] of the finale.
[01:45:11] So you don't have to watch it though.
[01:45:12] You should let's say Maria doesn't win immunity simple boot
[01:45:16] at final five and let's say that Ben does what I thought he
[01:45:21] would and falls on his own guitar and goes out in for either
[01:45:25] at fire or by his own volition leaving a final three of Charlie
[01:45:29] Kenzie and Liz.
[01:45:31] So if you're looking at the jury, I could see that soda and
[01:45:35] Tevin would probably vote for Charlie.
[01:45:38] They felt good about working with him.
[01:45:39] Now they might be influenced by something in a final Tribal
[01:45:42] Council, but they wanted to work with him.
[01:45:44] They felt good about him and it doesn't seem like there was
[01:45:45] any ill will towards him with them being behind partially his
[01:45:49] blindsides Hunter would vote for Kenzie because it's clear that
[01:45:54] they had a very big relationship that wasn't shown and she
[01:45:57] was the one that he relied on when it came to like whether
[01:46:01] or not he should play his idol.
[01:46:03] I think that Tiffany would probably vote for Kenzie.
[01:46:06] I don't know.
[01:46:07] Yeah, I don't think even if she felt a little certain way
[01:46:09] about like, why are you taking me out right now?
[01:46:12] I think she still has a lot of reverence for her and maybe
[01:46:14] if Kenzie could explain her logic, it would make sense as to
[01:46:17] like I couldn't go to the end with you because our games would
[01:46:19] be too divided.
[01:46:21] I think Venus Venus would be a big toss up here because she
[01:46:25] really wanted to work with Charlie, but it seemed like her
[01:46:29] and Kenzie were like each other's lost souls in that most.
[01:46:32] Yeah, I think she votes for Kenzie.
[01:46:34] All right, so that's three or this is Kenzie.
[01:46:36] Yeah, three to two QQ of course is up in the air and I bet
[01:46:42] you he would not tell a single soul who he is voting for.
[01:46:45] Yeah, he's always and yeah, he would give me like, you know
[01:46:48] what Liz to take this money go to Applebee's go on a double
[01:46:51] date with me and Emily as soon as we get back.
[01:46:54] I think there I think he would probably vote Charlie.
[01:46:56] I think he could definitely have that like game respects game.
[01:46:59] I was gunning for you.
[01:47:00] You were the big threat.
[01:47:01] You made it to the end major ups and then Maria votes for Charlie
[01:47:06] and Ben votes for Kenzie.
[01:47:08] Okay, so I would like to give an alternative version of that
[01:47:13] because then I think that the four four tie comes easier if
[01:47:17] Maria gets to the final three and in my scenario, this is
[01:47:23] Maria Kenzie, maybe Ben maybe Liz because okay and and this
[01:47:30] is what I think is so interesting because I think that you
[01:47:32] have Maria who probably if she gets to the final three will
[01:47:36] have needed to what I've probably won at least one more
[01:47:38] challenge.
[01:47:39] Maybe have been at the fire.
[01:47:41] She's there with this extensive resume.
[01:47:44] Here's Kenzie with not such a great resume.
[01:47:48] Maybe she has a move in the finale that we see to speak of
[01:47:52] and then you have the players who are really making the case
[01:47:55] for Maria in Tevin and soda felt good about Maria Q could be
[01:48:02] a vote for Maria, but then you have Tiffany you have Venus
[01:48:10] and there are the people that may be rubbed early.
[01:48:12] They may be rubbed Maria right of rubbed the wrong way.
[01:48:16] Ben for instance, and I think that you could potentially get
[01:48:20] to four four with people that are pro Kenzie and maybe a little
[01:48:26] bit anti Maria.
[01:48:28] Oh, I love that Aria.
[01:48:30] Yeah.
[01:48:31] Yeah, I don't I don't know.
[01:48:32] I don't see been turning his back on on Maria.
[01:48:35] Oh, he doesn't except for he doesn't really like Maria.
[01:48:39] That's why Charlie has been in such a good position because
[01:48:41] he's the only connective tissue between these three.
[01:48:43] So gotcha.
[01:48:44] Yeah, so he's voting and he loves Kenzie.
[01:48:46] Yeah.
[01:48:47] Yeah, but is he in the final three or is he on the jury?
[01:48:50] If he's on if he's on the jury, that's that's that's an easy
[01:48:53] Kenzie.
[01:48:53] See here's also the question if I'm Kenzie and I win that
[01:48:55] final immunity challenge.
[01:48:57] Am I throwing Ben in with the hopes that he loses?
[01:49:00] Oh, like, oh yeah, you want to put him on the jury or whatever.
[01:49:04] I think you could you underwood yourself and be like, I'm
[01:49:07] making fire against bed to carry it goes to the jury and votes
[01:49:11] for me.
[01:49:11] Will you it wouldn't be this season if you weren't trying
[01:49:13] to take out your number one ally.
[01:49:15] It's just like, well, I gotta take out bid.
[01:49:17] I need a big move on my resume.
[01:49:18] If not, if not, if I don't take out Ben, what am I going
[01:49:20] to say?
[01:49:20] I did.
[01:49:21] Do you think anybody who wins like at that final spot?
[01:49:25] They're automatically going to put themselves in the fire
[01:49:28] champion.
[01:49:28] No, they saw what happened to Heidi like three weeks before
[01:49:32] they went out to play and I think it's very much on their
[01:49:34] minds of like she made the fastest fire in history and she
[01:49:37] got one jury.
[01:49:37] I think Maria might I think she's the one person that might
[01:49:40] do it.
[01:49:41] Yeah, dang.
[01:49:42] But who I mean, who is she going up against it?
[01:49:44] And you know, yeah, I did.
[01:49:46] Why do you know?
[01:49:48] Well, I will can I also reveal a bit of an exclusive?
[01:49:52] Yeah.
[01:49:52] Oh, hold on.
[01:49:54] We have breaking news.
[01:49:56] Do do do do do do do hold on.
[01:49:58] All right, Mike.
[01:49:58] That's what Liz brings to file trouble.
[01:49:59] Counsel, right?
[01:50:00] You do do do do do do breaking news are happening.
[01:50:04] All right, Mike Bloom has an exclusive.
[01:50:07] So as I will mention for the umpteenth time, I did get the
[01:50:10] chance to go out in Fiji for the preseason and first few
[01:50:13] days of Survivor 46.
[01:50:15] If everything goes to plan as they intended, I believe we
[01:50:21] will have a brand new final immunity challenge for Survivor
[01:50:24] 46.
[01:50:25] Okay.
[01:50:26] Oh, okay.
[01:50:29] I like I like new challenges for sure because we've been
[01:50:32] seeing people prepping for the challenges so much.
[01:50:34] Now that Survivor really has to stay on their toes.
[01:50:36] We haven't even talked about that sexy dolphin, uh, like
[01:50:39] a puzzle that was amazing.
[01:50:41] So I would like to see what they pull out of their hat for
[01:50:43] this new challenge.
[01:50:44] But in the past we've seen like the big obstacle courses,
[01:50:48] right?
[01:50:49] Like I always think of like Worlds Apart.
[01:50:51] I think had a big obstacle course.
[01:50:52] I like those challenges.
[01:50:53] Yeah, but then you also have the, you know, no disrespect
[01:50:56] to present company, but you know, you have the endurance
[01:50:59] challenges where you're doing something dumb like standing
[01:51:01] with a little, you know thing on your and your flip or your
[01:51:03] flipping coins or whatever, you know, used to use the stack
[01:51:06] plates and bowls and stuff like that.
[01:51:08] Like in the olden days.
[01:51:10] So I don't really know what when you say new, what do you
[01:51:13] mean by that?
[01:51:14] What are we doing?
[01:51:15] How about this?
[01:51:16] You can ask three questions that I will give a one-word answer
[01:51:19] to. Okay.
[01:51:20] All right.
[01:51:21] All right.
[01:51:21] All right.
[01:51:26] Okay, so let's just let's just think this through.
[01:51:29] Okay.
[01:51:30] Yeah, you got the chance to shake the Magic 8 ball here.
[01:51:32] Yeah.
[01:51:32] So last season just it was a little it was new-ish what they
[01:51:37] did.
[01:51:37] It was basically like they were what stacking the things but
[01:51:42] they have a go through.
[01:51:43] Balance build but instead of like going through a structure
[01:51:45] they were doing the high step.
[01:51:47] Yes.
[01:51:47] Okay, that was that was slightly different.
[01:51:49] Okay.
[01:51:50] Yeah, slightly different.
[01:51:51] We've seen similar to that before.
[01:51:53] My first question is, is it very similar to challenges we've
[01:51:56] seen in the final spot before?
[01:51:59] God, I don't want to say kind of I will say no, but after
[01:52:05] you see it again, if this is the challenge there is one element
[01:52:08] that does feel very similar to a final immunity challenge.
[01:52:11] We've recently encountered.
[01:52:12] Okay.
[01:52:15] All right.
[01:52:17] Try to think what would be helpful.
[01:52:19] If I thought it was similar Rob talking this through similar
[01:52:23] to me for the final tribal come from challenges that we've
[01:52:26] had is like that tripwire thing, you know where they like to
[01:52:29] have it to where if you touch something then that'll make
[01:52:31] you start all the way over.
[01:52:32] Yeah, you know, we saw that in the like the high stepping
[01:52:35] thing.
[01:52:35] We seen it with the little navigate through the little machine,
[01:52:39] you know, maybe that's what we're looking at.
[01:52:41] How about this?
[01:52:42] Okay.
[01:52:43] Does it involve stacking?
[01:52:48] No.
[01:52:49] Okay.
[01:52:51] So no stacking.
[01:52:54] It's not stacked.
[01:52:56] You want to ask about balls?
[01:53:01] Does it involve like balls?
[01:53:06] I mean, it typically it was either some motion like take a
[01:53:10] pitchfork and put the thing on.
[01:53:11] Yeah, the pitchfork thing.
[01:53:12] Yeah, or I'm trying to think of what was the other or then
[01:53:15] letters.
[01:53:16] The letters.
[01:53:17] The letters.
[01:53:17] Yeah, and it's always something that you know, you knock
[01:53:20] it over.
[01:53:21] You have to start all over again.
[01:53:22] Like that's that's kind of the thing.
[01:53:25] Hmm.
[01:53:26] I don't know.
[01:53:28] Hey, will the contestants be standing only in one place?
[01:53:36] Yes.
[01:53:38] Oh, okay.
[01:53:39] Okay.
[01:53:40] I will say there will be there will be a limited range of
[01:53:42] movement.
[01:53:43] But yes, they will not be traversing.
[01:53:46] Okay, they're not stacking anything and it's similar to
[01:53:51] ones we've had in the past.
[01:53:53] I don't know.
[01:53:54] This is tough.
[01:53:55] Shops closed shops closed.
[01:53:56] That's all I can ask anymore questions.
[01:53:58] But you said you got my juice.
[01:54:00] There's a part of it.
[01:54:00] That's reminiscent of a of a recent past final unity
[01:54:04] challenge.
[01:54:05] Yes.
[01:54:06] Hmm.
[01:54:07] Well, I think some motion is the only one where they don't
[01:54:09] move at all.
[01:54:12] The pitchfork one isn't that much motion either though, you
[01:54:14] know, like it's they're kind of in one, you know, they do the
[01:54:17] thing.
[01:54:18] It's not that much motion man.
[01:54:21] I don't know right?
[01:54:22] This is tough.
[01:54:23] I don't want to motion in recent years is like almost every
[01:54:27] other season with some ocean.
[01:54:29] Yeah, and then Australian Survivor has the super some
[01:54:32] motion where they have to like run up a ladder and travel.
[01:54:35] Final two they do like their final challenges like a torture
[01:54:39] chamber.
[01:54:39] Yeah, it's like living Liz bloodied much like her leg by
[01:54:42] the end of it.
[01:54:43] Mm-hmm.
[01:54:44] Okay.
[01:54:45] I don't know Rob.
[01:54:46] This is gonna be tough, but I'm like you got the juices flowing
[01:54:48] all I'll tease it and I think I think it's your point.
[01:54:51] Chappelle does speak to what Jeff talked about on the podcast
[01:54:53] this week, which was like yeah for a while.
[01:54:55] We said it's cool that our contestants print out in 3d, you
[01:54:58] know practice these puzzles.
[01:54:59] Maybe we shouldn't do that anymore.
[01:55:00] And that's sort of an example of this.
[01:55:02] I think kind of loosely retired some puzzles kind of slipped
[01:55:05] it under the radar and brought out new ones like the Lisa Frank
[01:55:08] fantasy.
[01:55:08] That was that dolphin this week.
[01:55:11] I love that puzzle so much.
[01:55:12] I'm sorry.
[01:55:12] It just it was so good.
[01:55:15] Yeah, I don't know because all of our challenges.
[01:55:17] So I'm thinking back right?
[01:55:18] So motion has been the final challenge for at least three
[01:55:22] out of the last what five seasons or probably by six years
[01:55:25] new era.
[01:55:26] I'm trying to think I I really have 40.
[01:55:29] It was a 42 final and it was 44 final 44 and I feel like the
[01:55:34] the is 41 finale.
[01:55:36] I feel like was so unmemorable.
[01:55:39] 41 finale was the 41 finale was the letters.
[01:55:41] That's what Xander 143 finale.
[01:55:43] I believe was also the letters and I think 45 was the Bulls.
[01:55:48] I thought 43 was the balls.
[01:55:51] No 43 is River.
[01:55:52] It always broke his thing.
[01:55:55] Yep.
[01:55:55] Yep, you're right.
[01:55:56] It was the 15 ceramic dishes through a narrow slot in a metal
[01:55:59] structure.
[01:55:59] So 41 might be the only time that we've had the the letters
[01:56:04] as a final immunity challenge.
[01:56:06] Mm-Hmm.
[01:56:07] Yeah, I don't know and winners of one with some ocean.
[01:56:10] It was the motion again.
[01:56:11] Yeah, so it's like they can't move.
[01:56:13] They're not stacking something.
[01:56:17] Oh, I didn't didn't 41 have instead.
[01:56:20] It was the hold the rope and balance the letter.
[01:56:24] Yeah, it was it was like Sydney Gillum.
[01:56:27] Yeah, when you have to balance it and you back up slowly,
[01:56:29] you know, the Sydney Challenge is what I call it.
[01:56:33] But yeah, I don't know.
[01:56:35] I really don't know what you could do if they're not stacking
[01:56:37] something and they're barely moving.
[01:56:39] It has to be balanced at that point, Rob.
[01:56:41] I were right where they're not because if they're not stacking
[01:56:44] anything and they're barely moving, what else could they be
[01:56:45] doing?
[01:56:46] Hmm.
[01:56:47] I don't know.
[01:56:48] I guess emotion something like some ocean, I guess would be
[01:56:50] similar.
[01:56:50] So if like maybe they're not like doing the ball catch thing,
[01:56:54] but they're doing something else.
[01:56:56] I guess what to find out on Wednesday.
[01:56:58] Okay.
[01:56:58] Yeah, I don't want to tell it for you when they drop a hundred
[01:57:01] geckos from the ceiling and it's catch as many as you can.
[01:57:03] Wow.
[01:57:04] Yes in your mouth.
[01:57:05] Mm-Hmm.
[01:57:06] Okay.
[01:57:06] Yeah, any other questions we want to set up about the reunion
[01:57:10] show?
[01:57:11] Will Q eat 23 slices of pizza at the reunion show?
[01:57:14] Oh, that's a good point.
[01:57:15] Like will he just grab three boxes and say and these are
[01:57:18] mine.
[01:57:18] Thank you very much.
[01:57:19] Mm-Hmm.
[01:57:20] Will we talk about the Q skirt, you know, I feel like it has
[01:57:23] to come up.
[01:57:24] Yeah, I feel like it has to come up.
[01:57:25] Will Q wear a Q skirt to the final tribal council?
[01:57:28] Of course.
[01:57:29] You think so?
[01:57:30] It's good branding.
[01:57:32] He did get Maria in on it.
[01:57:34] Yeah.
[01:57:35] Yeah, I think, you know, Bennett talked about in this episode.
[01:57:37] I was like we all opened our eyes and realized that our
[01:57:40] night terrors have come true and that Maria and Q were working
[01:57:43] together.
[01:57:43] Maybe the fact that he was able to talk her into wearing a
[01:57:45] Q skirt to tribal council was the first sign.
[01:57:49] Do we get do we get Ben maybe making reference to another
[01:57:53] rock song?
[01:57:54] Because he definitely he definitely made one in this episode.
[01:57:57] I think I don't remember what during every challenge.
[01:58:00] That's really when Ben comes alive.
[01:58:02] Yeah, like Frampton.
[01:58:03] It's the idea of food that he's like, oh, thank God.
[01:58:06] Yeah, even during the reward challenge.
[01:58:10] He was like, he's like Jeff.
[01:58:11] I'm playing thinking pinball wizard in my head.
[01:58:14] He's like Jeff.
[01:58:14] Give me a Van Halen reference.
[01:58:16] Like I feel like that Ben is like at his most alive like
[01:58:19] during these challenges.
[01:58:20] All right.
[01:58:20] Let me let me throw out one final question because Rob you
[01:58:23] and I brought this up for the 44 finale what animal or piece
[01:58:28] of iconography will be like the focal point of the survivor
[01:58:32] 47 logo because we will get some sort of teaser for it.
[01:58:36] I don't know if it'll set the last couple because I mean
[01:58:38] this look at this like 46 logo is just like swamp people
[01:58:44] like what it what the hell is this?
[01:58:46] I guess that's the geckos.
[01:58:47] The gecko is probably what I'm indicating like animal iconography
[01:58:50] though that hasn't always been the case.
[01:58:51] It has been for the last two where of course we get the
[01:58:54] BAB the big-ass bird in 45 and then we get the geckos in
[01:58:58] 46.
[01:58:59] Do you think we're going to keep going with another animal
[01:59:02] in 47 because we will see some sort of teaser for it.
[01:59:04] I don't know if it'll involve contestants, but we'll get
[01:59:07] that logo revealed.
[01:59:08] What do you think is going to be like the main thing to
[01:59:11] take away?
[01:59:11] Yeah, I know the interesting to see what we get from Survivor
[01:59:15] 40 several because that to my understanding the contestants
[01:59:19] have only recently left to go start the game.
[01:59:22] Yeah, so we shall see if that turnaround will be tested or
[01:59:26] if we might get a little bit of like remember when they tease
[01:59:28] blood versus water and it was just a drop of red food coloring
[01:59:32] in a bucket of water.
[01:59:33] We might get something along the lines of that.
[01:59:35] But yeah, but I think they ultimately teased what the theme
[01:59:41] was going to be because if the theme had not they had not
[01:59:43] shot it yet.
[01:59:44] They were leaving like right after that finale.
[01:59:47] Yeah, that's always an interesting thing as well when they
[01:59:50] tease like on the even numbered seasons the odd number seasons
[01:59:53] coming up because they have nothing in the can.
[01:59:55] Mm-hmm.
[01:59:56] Yeah.
[01:59:57] Yeah, as far as animals go the geckos were an animal we had
[02:00:00] this time you're right.
[02:00:01] We had the birds on the last one on the other one.
[02:00:03] Then we had 43 had a huge octopus.
[02:00:06] Yeah, right and then that's it for as far as animals.
[02:00:09] There was 41 had somebody drowning.
[02:00:11] Right for sure for sure.
[02:00:14] But yeah, they had somebody drowning in the ocean in 41.
[02:00:17] We got the lock and key in 42 in the maze.
[02:00:19] I mean, yeah in the maze.
[02:00:21] I don't like that.
[02:00:22] The logos don't mean anything.
[02:00:23] I don't like that.
[02:00:24] We you have these geckos on here, but they've actually not we
[02:00:27] haven't talked about geckos at all since first episode.
[02:00:30] Yeah, is that first echo?
[02:00:31] Yeah, the biggest gecko you'll ever see in your life with
[02:00:35] bloodshot eyes like my perps as I bring them in and charge
[02:00:39] them with drug possession.
[02:00:40] Yeah, I don't know.
[02:00:42] I don't know what animal what other beach style animals should
[02:00:45] we get right now?
[02:00:47] Could be like a spider.
[02:00:48] Can we do something like that?
[02:00:50] Yeah, spider's nice a bat.
[02:00:52] There are lots of bats in Fiji.
[02:00:53] I know that we already kind of have the night theme with
[02:00:55] 46, but do we keep moving throughout the day and get to
[02:00:58] like a midnight with the bats flying across?
[02:01:03] I don't know.
[02:01:04] Maybe like some snakes.
[02:01:06] We're just we're flying as blind as a bat.
[02:01:08] Yes, exactly.
[02:01:10] We could go with like I guess lizards are too analogous to
[02:01:13] geckos.
[02:01:13] What about if we go into the ocean if we get like a dolphin
[02:01:16] or something?
[02:01:18] Yes, I'm telling you after that puzzle.
[02:01:19] I'm all in on dolphins.
[02:01:21] Let's do it.
[02:01:22] Mm-hmm.
[02:01:23] It'd be pretty cool.
[02:01:24] I'm just saying they got to carry a big ass dolphin through
[02:01:27] the water.
[02:01:27] That'd be cool.
[02:01:28] Wow.
[02:01:29] Yeah, I'll take it.
[02:01:31] Okay, Mike, of course there is some other piece of business
[02:01:35] that has to happen at the end of any Survivor season.
[02:01:39] Yes.
[02:01:39] So the Survivor season never truly ends with the conclusion
[02:01:42] of the live hour three hour finale plus after show then we
[02:01:47] wait with bated breath sometimes in your case Rob during your
[02:01:51] own interviews new pieces get dropped as Sia will at some
[02:01:55] point in the intervening days give away money assumingly
[02:01:58] to some contestants.
[02:01:59] Now look it should be said she didn't give away any money
[02:02:02] in Survivor 41.
[02:02:04] She only gave away money to one person in Survivor 42.
[02:02:06] So it's not exactly like a deeply held tradition that it's
[02:02:09] always going to be three people get these amounts of money.
[02:02:13] I will say though if we want to do a quick draft for who's
[02:02:15] going to get the Sia money of this season, this may be the
[02:02:18] toughest pick of the letter yet.
[02:02:19] Yeah.
[02:02:20] See I think that we should lock in and I don't think we should
[02:02:22] do a draft because I think there's only so many people but
[02:02:24] I think we should lock in our like top are 100 K and then
[02:02:29] 215 K's.
[02:02:31] Oh, I like that Donde style, but we could but we could okay.
[02:02:34] All right, you know, I'm a step for my boy.
[02:02:36] Give me Banu.
[02:02:38] How does Banu not walk out of here with a hundred thousand
[02:02:42] Sia dollars and a hundred thousand hearts?
[02:02:44] I'm just saying it's right there.
[02:02:46] Okay, I get it.
[02:02:48] But it has been what two plus months since that's happened.
[02:02:54] Now, maybe if Banu is mentioned like we talked about with
[02:02:56] Tevin on the reunion that might remind you're like, oh, yeah,
[02:02:59] remember that guy?
[02:03:00] Okay, I see it.
[02:03:02] Yeah, you think Banu is getting the 100 K or you think he's
[02:03:05] getting one of the smaller prizes?
[02:03:08] I think if you're giving away a hundred K you have to give
[02:03:10] it to Banu.
[02:03:10] I'm sorry.
[02:03:12] Yeah, I don't know.
[02:03:13] I think there's a chance he might get like like Ryan from
[02:03:17] season 43 is like the earth.
[02:03:19] No, actually Caleb got the money as well.
[02:03:20] I was gonna say he was the earliest recipient of the Sia
[02:03:22] money, but Caleb just got it last season, but I think I mean
[02:03:26] again, it's weird because usually our criteria for Sia money
[02:03:29] is like who has this big heartbreaking story that Sia, you
[02:03:33] know is able to sympathize with but not necessarily like see
[02:03:36] has been all over the map.
[02:03:37] I think that you could make the case for a lot of different
[02:03:40] people this season.
[02:03:42] Like I think I can make a case for like probably several.
[02:03:47] Well, I think at least one of Ben or Liz is getting some form
[02:03:53] of money.
[02:03:53] Yeah, I think first off Ben is a musician.
[02:03:57] Ben has had a hard time.
[02:03:58] Ben has had the night terrors.
[02:04:00] Ben is like a super sweet guy that that yeah, if anyone has
[02:04:04] had like the biggest quote-unquote sob story we consistently
[02:04:06] go back to Ben talking about like I go back to myself as a
[02:04:09] kid and the insecure person that I was and that I am now like
[02:04:13] he had that most coded stuff throughout this.
[02:04:14] Yeah, and those music references are not going to be lost on
[02:04:18] Sia.
[02:04:18] So Ben is definitely in one of those three slots.
[02:04:21] Okay, in my opinion.
[02:04:22] Yeah, Kenzie had a big heart was sympathetic towards Ben.
[02:04:29] I think that you know, Kenzie is somebody I think Sia is going
[02:04:34] to eat Kenzie up.
[02:04:35] Does Kenzie win the game though?
[02:04:36] Does that potentially hurt Kenzie in getting Sia money?
[02:04:41] Could Sia not wear her glasses while watching the show and
[02:04:44] think wow Carolyn's playing again and she's a redhead.
[02:04:46] Okay, I'll give her money again.
[02:04:47] And she loved Carolyn.
[02:04:48] Yeah, right.
[02:04:49] Is there any way Mariah looks up and she tries to give the
[02:04:52] money to Liz but you know Sia is not wearing her glasses.
[02:04:54] So maybe Mariah gets the money.
[02:04:56] That's a lot to be married.
[02:04:57] But I think that Liz I think also is in the mix to potentially
[02:05:01] get Sia money between her story and she didn't go to Applebee's
[02:05:05] she didn't eat.
[02:05:07] Right.
[02:05:07] And so I think that Liz is definitely in the mix here.
[02:05:11] I could see Maria maybe like it's tough because Maria has
[02:05:15] certainly not worn on the goodwill of others, but she just
[02:05:19] had this big heart-wrenching scene.
[02:05:21] It feels like my heart is breaking in three.
[02:05:24] Now I'm just going off of precedent that yes, Carolyn got
[02:05:30] the Sia money, but I feel like that the typical mom archetype
[02:05:34] has not been a big recipient of the Sia money.
[02:05:38] Lauren Harper's story was that she was a mom.
[02:05:41] That's true.
[02:05:42] And that was direct because I remember on this very podcast
[02:05:44] Rob, I was like, I think Lauren's getting because she just
[02:05:46] got that footage.
[02:05:47] I remember in the previous episode of like her own backstory.
[02:05:51] I could see Sia being like and granted it wasn't like as much
[02:05:54] with the file photos as she got early in the season, but I
[02:05:56] think you could be like Maria, you're a fighter.
[02:05:58] You never gave up and you did it for your family.
[02:06:01] You didn't get the letters.
[02:06:02] Okay, here's you know, you get pictures of your family, but
[02:06:05] Here's a hundred of them with you know, so-and-so's photo on
[02:06:08] it. All right, but what about Charlie or is Sia like, oh,
[02:06:13] he's this guy, this piece of work.
[02:06:16] All he does is talk about Taylor Swift.
[02:06:18] Well, is Taylor Swift giving money to these people?
[02:06:21] I don't think so. Sia doesn't like Taylor Swift. The Swifties
[02:06:24] know what I'm talking about.
[02:06:25] They're not friends.
[02:06:26] So no, this isn't going to work.
[02:06:28] That's actually, that's a pop battle from way before your
[02:06:32] time Rob. The real ones know that's not happening.
[02:06:34] Probably not getting the money.
[02:06:35] Here's something, could Sia be one of the people in that Venn
[02:06:41] diagram to call Venus mother?
[02:06:43] And I know there's not a good history.
[02:06:44] Oh, well, Venus could be the mother.
[02:06:47] It's certainly possible and especially Venus' final words talking
[02:06:51] about fighting for the freedom for the women of Iran.
[02:06:56] I think certainly could open up some consideration.
[02:07:02] Yeah, as well again, that storyline in the beginning of it
[02:07:05] could end it a little bit more mixed, but certainly that idea
[02:07:07] of like she was on the outs of her tribe.
[02:07:10] She was ostracized socially.
[02:07:12] There's certainly a storyline of like Venus is saying all the
[02:07:14] right things that people are should be doing, but nobody is
[02:07:17] listening to her and she is definitely someone that factors
[02:07:20] into the underdog story.
[02:07:22] Again, that's why Caleb ended up getting money despite the
[02:07:24] fact that he ended up getting voted out like six episodes
[02:07:26] before the finale.
[02:07:27] But okay, big question though.
[02:07:30] Okay, could Sia consider Q?
[02:07:37] Sia, listen to me.
[02:07:39] Stop and this applies to Liz too.
[02:07:42] Stop giving rich folks money.
[02:07:43] Stop it.
[02:07:44] Just stop it.
[02:07:45] And honestly Survivor needs to cast more poor people because
[02:07:48] this I want to play for the title is how people end up not
[02:07:51] playing their idol.
[02:07:52] I need people who are out there fighting for their lives who
[02:07:54] they want.
[02:07:55] They want to eat.
[02:07:55] I need somebody stealing Yao Man's truck.
[02:07:57] You know what I'm saying?
[02:07:58] Like that's the kind of energy I need for my Survivor players.
[02:08:01] All this I don't need the money and all this other stuff.
[02:08:03] That's cute or whatever.
[02:08:04] But for the people who are like they're putting their life
[02:08:07] on hold to go play this game to change their livelihoods.
[02:08:10] They need the money.
[02:08:11] I'm sorry this time Sia.
[02:08:13] I cannot sign on rumored billionaire Liz Wilcox and also
[02:08:17] rumored billionaire Q taking this and winning more money
[02:08:21] from Sia.
[02:08:22] I just can't explain.
[02:08:23] You know what they would do?
[02:08:23] They would take that money directly to their Applebee's
[02:08:25] double date and wipe their mouths with it from the marina.
[02:08:28] From those.
[02:08:31] $100,000.
[02:08:32] I was looking for some toilet paper.
[02:08:34] It's like, yeah, give it to me.
[02:08:35] All right, this is going right in the jar.
[02:08:37] Right in the jar.
[02:08:38] I need something to line my poop jar.
[02:08:40] Yeah, give it to people who need the money Sia.
[02:08:42] Maybe that could be the tip at Applebee's.
[02:08:46] No, stop this.
[02:08:47] Stop this.
[02:08:48] Ain't nobody did nothing at Applebee's that deserve $100,000 tip.
[02:08:51] You know what?
[02:08:52] Actually, this is maybe the greatest idea Sia could ever have.
[02:08:55] Give Liz and Q each $100,000 with the succinct promise that
[02:09:02] they must go in together on an Applebee's gift card.
[02:09:04] Applebee's gift card.
[02:09:06] No, no, they have to reopen the closed Applebee's in Rob's
[02:09:10] neighborhood and run it together.
[02:09:12] Staff it, manage it.
[02:09:13] All right, so we've laid out the case.
[02:09:16] Okay, this is the game.
[02:09:17] This is the game.
[02:09:18] Okay, three points if you nail the 100k.
[02:09:24] One point if you nail the 15k.
[02:09:26] Does that?
[02:09:27] I think that works.
[02:09:28] Yeah, because I don't know if there's going to be like a 3-2-1
[02:09:31] and we're not going to chizzy it here where I don't know if
[02:09:33] they're it's usually at 1-100k and like a couple of 15k.
[02:09:36] Should you get two points for the 15k?
[02:09:38] So if you if you miss the top one, but you get the other two
[02:09:42] with this, should that count for more than if somebody just
[02:09:45] got the big one?
[02:09:47] I feel like it has to be a one for one because we don't know
[02:09:49] how many she's going to give out.
[02:09:50] She can legit just give out the one prize or she can just
[02:09:53] give out two little ones.
[02:09:54] We don't know how Sia operates.
[02:09:55] I feel like you get a point for every person you get right.
[02:09:57] But traditionally she's given out like in the really since
[02:10:01] Survivor 43, she's given out one big prize and then two little
[02:10:04] prizes.
[02:10:05] Yeah, she's given out three for the past three.
[02:10:07] That's also what she did in season 39.
[02:10:09] Also, she did it the same way.
[02:10:11] That's typically the Sia breakdown.
[02:10:14] Okay, so 100 and 30,000.
[02:10:17] No, two 15s.
[02:10:19] There's one hundred and two 15s.
[02:10:20] So that if you guess the other two, if you don't get the top
[02:10:23] spot, you get two points for the 15s, three points for the
[02:10:26] 100k.
[02:10:27] Okay, that's fair.
[02:10:28] Okay, that way you got if you got two out of three but missed
[02:10:31] the big one, you could still win.
[02:10:32] No grenades.
[02:10:33] Yeah.
[02:10:34] Hey, the chat does bring out.
[02:10:36] Thank you, Melody and chat.
[02:10:36] The chat brings up Hunter.
[02:10:38] Hunter.
[02:10:38] And I don't think I don't think Hunter is a bad idea either.
[02:10:41] I don't think so either.
[02:10:42] Yeah, like yeah, I love the fact that you you built the
[02:10:45] challenges, you teach kids science.
[02:10:47] He chose to be a teacher.
[02:10:48] Yeah, like he didn't he didn't he chose that route.
[02:10:51] We know it's not a very lucrative career because educators
[02:10:53] are always in need of a pay increase for sure.
[02:10:56] So I think Hunter would take it and hell if we're talking
[02:10:58] about teachers, Soda as a teacher has to be like you could
[02:11:01] just fund this woman's whole classroom, you know what I'm
[02:11:04] saying? And teachers pay for their classrooms out of pocket,
[02:11:06] which is what a lot of people don't understand is that a lot
[02:11:09] of that decorating and stuff and no supplies for those kids.
[02:11:11] Some school district can afford it.
[02:11:13] Some cannot and so a lot of teachers are coming out of pocket
[02:11:15] for that.
[02:11:15] See ya.
[02:11:16] Yeah, if you're gonna be giving money away, please don't waste
[02:11:18] this on the rich.
[02:11:19] Find somebody who could really use this to better other people's
[02:11:21] lives. That's all I'm saying.
[02:11:22] Wow, this is tough.
[02:11:25] I love this though.
[02:11:29] She should just be safe and give it to Banu.
[02:11:31] Nobody would I mean, come on give it all to Banu and let him
[02:11:34] divvy it up as he sees fit.
[02:11:35] I was the one that suggested this.
[02:11:37] I'll put in my prediction here.
[02:11:38] I'll lock in my top three.
[02:11:41] I will say give me Ben for the 100k.
[02:11:45] Okay.
[02:11:46] And I will say 15k will go to Maria.
[02:11:51] Okay, and I will also give 15k to Venus.
[02:11:57] I will go with all women final three here.
[02:12:03] Wow.
[02:12:03] Okay.
[02:12:04] What about you Chappelle?
[02:12:06] I'm going I'm still I'm sorry.
[02:12:08] I planted my flag.
[02:12:08] I'm going with 100k for Banu. Got to.
[02:12:12] And then if I had to be 15k.
[02:12:17] Let's I think 15k at that point can go to Ben and Kenzie.
[02:12:21] Both of them can get 15k.
[02:12:23] I think that's how I feel.
[02:12:24] Boy, this is so tough.
[02:12:26] But if Kenzie wins that makes her ineligible for the sea of money,
[02:12:28] correct?
[02:12:29] Are we doing like a Cambodia style of like you're no longer in
[02:12:32] the running for the sea?
[02:12:33] I don't know.
[02:12:33] I'm trying to think if somebody who's won.
[02:12:36] No, have they never got a winner?
[02:12:37] She's never has anybody who's won gotten any money.
[02:12:43] No, no money for me to get it.
[02:12:45] It's not an extensive history.
[02:12:46] You know, we had it in third right here and then it took a break
[02:12:48] before coming back in 30 weeks.
[02:12:49] The closest people who've gotten to the end and not gotten and
[02:12:53] there are obviously Carolyn Carson, Jesse.
[02:12:56] Well, Owen made it to the to the final three.
[02:12:59] Yeah, he got some money recipient.
[02:13:01] I got high trying made it to the final three twice.
[02:13:04] So yeah.
[02:13:05] Yeah.
[02:13:05] So there's there's precedent for it.
[02:13:07] Make making the final tribal council, but not for winning.
[02:13:09] All right, I'm going to go with I'm going to agree with Mike.
[02:13:13] I think Ben gets to 100 K.
[02:13:18] I'm going to give 15 K of see a dollars to Charlie.
[02:13:23] Okay, and I'm going to give 15 K see a dollars to Banu.
[02:13:30] Okay, there we go.
[02:13:33] Cheapo Depot on Banu.
[02:13:34] I'm just saying give the man what he deserves.
[02:13:36] Okay, that's 15,000 hearts.
[02:13:38] That's not just as hard.
[02:13:39] Well, he came for he came for a million.
[02:13:41] So see, that's up.
[02:13:42] The other thing as well.
[02:13:43] I think people and look, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
[02:13:46] I know people certainly look upon the season even now and
[02:13:48] they're like, God, the premer stock.
[02:13:50] I don't know.
[02:13:50] I was looking back at some of these first several episodes of
[02:13:53] the show and for seven.
[02:13:55] Yeah, I mean these episodes were cracked even from the beginning.
[02:13:58] We talk about wild tribal councils.
[02:13:59] Now, do we not remember in the very first tribal council where
[02:14:02] Jeff like argue with Jalinski about him quitting the sweat task
[02:14:05] and Banu just goes it is time to vote.
[02:14:07] Yep.
[02:14:08] Yeah, there was absolute mayhem from the beginning of I think
[02:14:10] this season is going to hold up on a rewatch.
[02:14:12] I think that because of like who Q and Kenzie and Tiffany all
[02:14:16] became in the season.
[02:14:17] I think that a lot of that Yanu stuff with Banu is going to
[02:14:21] be very rewatchable.
[02:14:23] I think that there's going to be a lot of other stuff, especially
[02:14:26] with like Nami not that you saw a ton of them, but I watched
[02:14:30] the first episode like the first couple of minutes and I was
[02:14:32] like fascinated.
[02:14:33] I wanted to keep going.
[02:14:35] So I do think that this season is has been, you know, extremely
[02:14:40] wild.
[02:14:41] Is it the best of the new era?
[02:14:44] It's a good question.
[02:14:44] I mean, no, you know, it's not.
[02:14:47] No people were about to rage quit in the first like every
[02:14:51] episode for the first four weeks.
[02:14:53] People wanted to quit the show.
[02:14:55] People were in the comments every week.
[02:14:57] We have made the best of it here at RHAP.
[02:14:59] I think a lot of the fans have been really good sports, but
[02:15:01] let's not get carried away.
[02:15:03] One of the pre-mergers has more confessionals than at least
[02:15:06] two people in the finale episode.
[02:15:07] This is not the best season of the new era.
[02:15:09] Stop it.
[02:15:10] Just shenanigans.
[02:15:11] I will answer your question with another question.
[02:15:13] Are 45 and 46 up there with some of the most like unhinged
[02:15:17] back-to-back season?
[02:15:18] Yes, Survivor history.
[02:15:19] Yes.
[02:15:20] Like we people obfuscate like oh 45 was a Reba steamroll, but
[02:15:23] we had no some objectively wild ass shit happened in that
[02:15:26] season.
[02:15:27] Yes, even with the especially I cannot take my mind off of
[02:15:31] that couture and Jake vote where they're just looking at
[02:15:33] each other.
[02:15:33] That was a really good finale.
[02:15:35] Right?
[02:15:35] It's an idol play.
[02:15:36] What the hell and your winner is right there.
[02:15:40] Just about to skate by y'all.
[02:15:42] Y'all can't even get on the same page to vote out the person
[02:15:44] who everybody knows is going to win.
[02:15:46] So yeah, now they're cracked on 45 to make no mistake.
[02:15:50] That's the thing.
[02:15:51] Yeah, like we need to remember the fact that yes, some votes
[02:15:53] may have been straightforward, but we had wild things like
[02:15:55] Sabaya's rise and fall that she melted a candle with an idol
[02:15:58] in it at a tribal council and got voted.
[02:15:59] And didn't even play it and it was only three people.
[02:16:01] Because she's not a mom.
[02:16:03] That's exactly it.
[02:16:05] As she was turning on her number one ally, Mike, she was
[02:16:07] going after Caleb.
[02:16:08] And so it's been so much fun.
[02:16:10] I would put this right up here with like Amazon and Pearl
[02:16:12] Islands, you know, like Micronesia and Gabon in just terms
[02:16:16] of like two wildly chaotic character filled back-to-back
[02:16:20] seasons.
[02:16:21] I am so excited because I do feel like the new era has hit
[02:16:24] like almost like the Nos from the first four seasons into
[02:16:28] like a brand new form of speed for this next one.
[02:16:30] And so I'm intrigued to see how 47 and 48 directly react
[02:16:33] to what they just saw over the past year.
[02:16:36] All right, we'll see it Wednesday night be live after the
[02:16:40] episode.
[02:16:41] Jesse is coming by Wednesday night.
[02:16:44] So that'll be a lot of fun 1115 or so.
[02:16:47] We'll jump on there for the live postgame show here with
[02:16:52] Jesse in the studio should be a lot of fun.
[02:16:55] Mike, what's coming up for you this week?
[02:16:58] Well, first off, I just want to thank you guys for having
[02:17:00] me on.
[02:17:01] I love Club Condo.
[02:17:02] I mean, I think you picked, you know, coincidentally the
[02:17:05] perfect season to launch this considering it was just all
[02:17:08] full of absolute lovable nonsense, which is what this podcast
[02:17:12] is all about.
[02:17:13] And a lot of social.
[02:17:14] This is the one week where we didn't have a ton of social
[02:17:15] media drama.
[02:17:16] Yeah, I think everyone was getting ready for the finale.
[02:17:18] I think the only thing was that Liz publicly contested one
[02:17:22] thing that Q had said in one of my exit interviews, but
[02:17:25] that's basically what you get is fairly tame compared to
[02:17:28] especially last week in social media.
[02:17:29] Mm-hmm.
[02:17:30] Yeah, but lots of stuff happening.
[02:17:33] I'll also to Rob's point be doing my exit press with the
[02:17:35] final five at parade.
[02:17:36] Also the B&B as mentioned we had Puya on still listen to
[02:17:39] that.
[02:17:39] You got a couple days until the finale.
[02:17:41] That was a lot of fun bit of a contentious ending to one
[02:17:43] of our games this week and we'll also have Brandon Donlan
[02:17:47] on our B&B for the finale, which should be a very fun time.
[02:17:51] I got the chance to knock on the door of the podcast that
[02:17:54] you two have made your home as of late hit or quit.
[02:17:58] Oh, tonight is the premiere of race to survive colon New
[02:18:02] Zealand.
[02:18:03] Yes, which is the second season of race to survive on USA
[02:18:07] Jenny Lauterman.
[02:18:08] I watched it so you don't have to and we gave our recaps
[02:18:11] and yeah, if you want like the full bloom quality to stick
[02:18:14] around for a little bit be sure to check that out because
[02:18:16] they really serve us up a meal with some of these euphemisms
[02:18:20] and then of course the amazing race 36 ended last week.
[02:18:23] I got the chance to talk with the entire final four and
[02:18:25] got on the line with you Rob and Jess as you got on the
[02:18:28] line with a pizza parlor that was featured at the end of
[02:18:31] the finale, which was an absolute highlight.
[02:18:34] I am also doing exit press for the challenge all-stars for
[02:18:39] the goat with Chappelle.
[02:18:40] I know you're covering on hit or quit over at parade and
[02:18:43] One final thing I will tease besides perhaps a brand new
[02:18:47] final immunity challenge is a listen.
[02:18:49] It'll be a bit of a long offseason.
[02:18:51] We've got big brother coming around the bend in a couple
[02:18:53] months, but if you're looking for more survivor content,
[02:18:55] there might be there might be a big one coming down the
[02:18:59] bend. I might have something to announce in the am after
[02:19:04] the season finishes of something coming up.
[02:19:07] All right.
[02:19:09] Stay tuned.
[02:19:10] Okay.
[02:19:11] Mm.
[02:19:12] All right.
[02:19:12] I'm in this great job today.
[02:19:14] Mike will take this podcast and put it in a jar and never
[02:19:18] forget where we were for this one Chappelle.
[02:19:23] Hmm.
[02:19:23] How about for you?
[02:19:25] First and foremost.
[02:19:26] Yeah, I have to point out how fun it's been talking about
[02:19:29] survivor with you every week and this has been such a
[02:19:31] blessing.
[02:19:32] I've never got to do this with you before.
[02:19:33] So this is so much fun talking to you Mike bloom all the
[02:19:37] amazing guests that we've had like a survivor nerds dream.
[02:19:40] So thank you so much for allowing me to sit up here and
[02:19:43] be it's been a real treat to do this.
[02:19:47] It's been like a really fun way to end the week each week
[02:19:50] for talking about get your reactions everything and everything
[02:19:54] that's going on with this crazy cast.
[02:19:57] Yeah, I've had such a good time and I do think that Mike
[02:20:00] is right.
[02:20:00] This has been very fortuitous to us that we've gotten so
[02:20:03] lucky with just this particular brand of crazy and then I
[02:20:08] think you just happened to and you came across the crazy
[02:20:10] guests, you know, especially with me as your as your side
[02:20:14] cake for this one.
[02:20:14] So I appreciate it so much how far we've come the people in
[02:20:18] the chat Mrs.
[02:20:18] B in the chest and how far club condos comes as we were
