[00:05:23] Survivor 47 finale is going to be a two-parter airing over two weeks.

[00:05:31] There will be a two-hour episode on December 11th, followed by another two-hour episode on December 18th.

[00:05:43] I'm trying to understand, like, what they mean by this.

[00:05:46] Because every finale is always... Like, normally it's two parts anyway.

[00:05:50] You get the episode and then you get, like, the after show, right?

[00:05:53] Like, the reunion or whatever. Those are our parts.

[00:05:55] But they don't stretch them over the course of two weeks.

[00:05:58] And even if they did, wouldn't that just make the penultimate episode the penultimate episode and not the actual finale?

[00:06:07] Because it's something behind the scenes that's making them call it this and I haven't figured out which.

[00:06:14] But it's going to only be two hours on the final night instead of three for the first time.

[00:06:21] And so they are basically trying to give us...

[00:06:25] I think it might be the final six and the final five back-to-back each one hour, you know, one hour each for those two vote-offs.

[00:06:34] And then, Sammy, I think they're going to come into the final episode starting with the final four.

[00:06:41] Then final Tribal Council and our Survivor after show.

[00:06:46] Yeah, when I saw this, I got really excited, actually, because it made me believe that there's got to be some kind of meat on the bone that they got to get into between final four and the rest of the game.

[00:07:03] Because, like, we all know, final four, there is a...

[00:07:08] I think there's a day in between.

[00:07:09] There is one singular day in between the final immunity challenge and final Tribal Council.

[00:07:15] And, like, is there a day or two?

[00:07:21] So day 25 would be when they have the final four challenge followed by fire-making at night.

[00:07:29] And then day 26 would be the final Tribal Council.

[00:07:31] Yeah, so it's just interesting to me because, like, let's say we go into...

[00:07:36] I'm just really curious as to what they're going to do as far as the votes go because I would imagine they start that second segment, the second two hours, with final five.

[00:08:18] And so, it takes up about an hour to do the final five.

[00:08:35] And, you know, again, with the way that the game has been going thus far, very seldom does the final four get really that messy.

[00:08:45] We've been seeing a lot of blank ones in this whole season.

[00:08:49] So, I don't know if that's going to change anytime soon, especially not in final four.

[00:09:20] I think that very often, too, the player that goes out right at five, you know, it's a player that...

[00:09:34] Like, basically, I'm really excited to see how much more do we really get to see from that day.

[00:09:47] Because I agree with you, Rob, to where it's like, there's so much that we need to get through in the second hour.

[00:09:50] As far as final immunity challenge, final four, fire making challenge, blah, blah, blah.

[00:09:55] And then we have final tribal council on top of all that.

[00:10:00] And Chappelle, when we come in, sometimes there's, like, too many scenarios to talk through when you have five people going into the final night.

[00:10:13] Now, also, the final six is also, tends to be a really good episode.

[00:10:18] And so, we're sort of giving the final six a little bit of a short shrift instead of it getting to be its own standalone episode.

[00:10:25] But I still prefer this and then can really, okay, what are the scenarios of the final four?

[00:10:30] And then we have actual more of a chance to figure out what's going on.

[00:10:33] So, we're not totally blindsided when Gabler wins.

[00:11:26] Episode one, I remember watching Andy and my insides curled up into a little bit of a ball

[00:11:34] because I was a little bit confused at what his plan was.

[00:11:37] And then episode, I remember, I think it was episode five.

[00:11:42] When he had his first little shot.

[00:11:44] When he had his first little, he wrote the little tombstone thing when they voted Anik out.

[00:11:50] This is what my eyes became.

[00:11:52] I turned into.

[00:11:54] You reversed she's all that right now.

[00:11:56] You put the glasses on.

[00:11:58] I put the glasses on.

[00:12:00] And I saw what people should all be seeing right now, which is that Andy, despite being a little bit flaky,

[00:12:09] I can speak to how awesome it is to be flaky.

[00:12:11] It's so fun.

[00:12:12] I'm telling y'all right now.

[00:12:13] Being flaky is the best way to play this game.

[00:12:17] Despite that, I see a lot of people putting Andy a little bit towards the bottom of their power rankings.

[00:12:23] But I want everybody to understand that this turnaround that he's making is very Emily-esque.

[00:12:30] And remember back in Emily of season 45, we all thought Emily had a pretty good chance to win the game.

[00:12:35] So why are we not keeping the same energy with Andy?

[00:12:41] That's kind of how I'm feeling about the way that everything is going.

[00:12:45] Yeah.

[00:12:46] Well, you're not going to get no pushback from us here.

[00:12:48] We love baby Andy on this podcast.

[00:12:50] We've been watching him from week one.

[00:12:51] We were kind of shook like everybody else.

[00:12:55] Episode one, not great.

[00:12:56] Not great.

[00:12:57] But, you know, like you said, he's been just having this slow rise to stardom.

[00:13:01] He's one of the standout characters, if anything, from this season for sure.

[00:13:05] And then, you know, right now, he doesn't look like he's in any type of danger.

[00:13:09] And so, yeah, if we're going to lose baby Andy, it's probably going to be in one of those last two episodes.

[00:13:15] I just don't see him going anywhere anytime soon.

[00:13:17] And if he doesn't, if we don't lose him, he wins the game.

[00:13:20] So I think it'd be an incredible arc for him.

[00:13:22] And if we got to spend a little bit more time with baby Andy, then I don't think I have an issue with that.

[00:13:26] But Rob, to me, my issue with this whole two-part finale thing is that why are you calling it that?

[00:13:32] Why don't you just call the finale the finale?

[00:13:35] What is the point of saying this is a two-part finale if it's not a two-part finale?

[00:13:38] It's just a one-part finale.

[00:13:39] Yeah, I just feel like that's the thing that's a little weird.

[00:13:42] I think that they're trying to make it be a two-part finale so you don't feel like, oh, finale episode is only two hours when it used to be three.

[00:15:37] in the morning after everybody was, like, talking about what had happened,

[00:15:44] after talking about it, everything like that.

[00:15:46] He had a conversation with Rachel.

[00:15:48] Yeah.

[00:15:49] And it's like the conversation went on forever, yo.

[00:15:52] Like, something like – and I think that that's something that Andy has been doing super well throughout the game

[00:16:02] is rounding the Ducks, checking his P's and Q's every single –

[00:16:07] because, like, Sam, when Sierra gets voted off, like, obviously Sam goes from boom, boom.

[00:16:13] And trust me, I've been there.

[00:16:15] I get how that feels.

[00:16:15] That sucks.

[00:16:17] But the thing about Andy that he does so well is he gets his ducks in a row,

[00:16:22] and he makes sure he goes and talks to the people that were involved after the fact.

[00:16:27] Because just because Saul, right, was voted out 9-1 or whatever – I think it was 9-1 or 8-1.

[00:16:33] That doesn't mean that some people aren't, like, upset about the fact that that's what happened.

[00:16:37] Right?

[00:16:38] And so I think that's something I've just been – it's catching my eye a little bit.

[00:16:43] Yeah.

[00:16:43] It's catching my survivor eye.

[00:16:44] All right.

[00:16:45] Well, the episode opened up with Andy talking with a few of the different people that were from his original tribe,

[00:16:51] including Rachel.

[00:16:53] And we had a long sequence of Andy and Rachel.

[00:16:57] And Chappelle, I'm wondering, you know, we talked about the she's all that of baby Andy.

[00:17:03] But I'm wondering, are Andy and Rachel the on-again, off-again, romantic comedy-type alliance of potentially – will they or won't they?

[00:17:15] I do like her.

[00:17:17] I feel like we have chemistry.

[00:17:18] And we could definitely have game chemistry out here.

[00:17:21] They have chemistry.

[00:17:22] Can they make it work?

[00:17:24] Yeah, but it's misconnections they keep having, right?

[00:17:27] Like, the first vote out, Andy's on the bottom of that vote.

[00:17:30] They get rid of John Lovett.

[00:17:31] It's basically Andy's fault, but we won't go there.

[00:17:34] But Rachel is the one who's trying to hear him out.

[00:17:36] He's talking to her.

[00:17:37] But she's like, hey, hey, people don't need to know about this.

[00:17:39] Keep this relationship on the low.

[00:17:41] You're making the block hot, you know?

[00:17:43] And so then, boom, some weeks go by.

[00:17:46] We think everything's cool.

[00:17:47] And then Andy blindsides Rachel.

[00:17:49] Now, she did think she was about to blindside Andy, but he got one over on her.

[00:17:53] So now she's like, do I trust him?

[00:17:55] So they've been doing this back and forth this whole time.

[00:17:57] And now it's time.

[00:17:59] It seems like it's time to get back on the same page.

[00:18:02] But after this episode, I'm not quite sure how the goddess are going to get on the same page.

[00:18:06] Because I would never be a good survivor player.

[00:18:09] I can tell you this a billion times over.

[00:18:10] Because I would never trust these people.

[00:18:12] They've not been able to vote together solidly as a group, ever.

[00:18:16] That's why it's such a good story.

[00:18:17] Sammy, you know, Rachel, she met this guy.

[00:18:21] And then she hates his guts.

[00:18:24] And then he worked on blindside.

[00:18:26] I'm never going to work with that guy.

[00:18:28] But now all of a sudden, unlikely partners having to come back together?

[00:18:34] Man, you got to think about how, like, as the game goes on,

[00:18:40] the previous baggage that was left starts to matter less and less and less.

[00:18:49] Like, it's always, it's just always so funny how people believe that, like,

[00:18:55] what happens in these early stages of the game is going to be cemented for the rest of it, right?

[00:18:59] Sam and Sierra thought Andy was like, that's low, bro.

[00:19:02] Like, he got, like, we got it.

[00:19:03] Like, don't even worry about, don't even worry about Andy.

[00:19:06] Like, he'll vote with us no matter what.

[00:19:07] Well, then Sam and Sierra are tied.

[00:19:09] Like, then they're both up.

[00:19:11] And, like, it could be either one of them.

[00:19:13] And who's one of the catalysts of that?

[00:19:16] Andy, bro.

[00:19:17] Like, it's always funny how the further the game goes,

[00:19:22] you start to realize there is,

[00:19:26] and what I hope these players start to realize

[00:19:29] is that there are powerful groups that are going nowhere anytime soon.

[00:19:35] Like, Teenie, like, Teenie is in great position.

[00:19:40] Caroline, fantastic position.

[00:20:18] because they see the path in front is easier.

[00:21:39] And, like, Genevieve is one of those players

[00:21:42] that doesn't have to know what's going on.

[00:21:47] Like, I don't know how she does it,

[00:21:49] but, like, there's two levels to this, really.

[00:21:55] I want Andy to win the game.

[00:21:57] I think Teenie or Genevieve are probably going to win the game.

[00:22:00] I think Caroline has a great chance to win the game.

[00:22:01] Like, Genevieve so far has done no wrong.
