[00:01:44] It's gonna be a little bit of analysis, a little bit of an edit read.
[00:01:51] I have seen a lot of people, my Survivor know-it-alls co-host talking about what he thinks.
[00:01:58] I'm gonna take a little bit of a different take on what I think is going to happen
[00:02:05] or at least how I think we're going to get there.
[00:02:07] So stay tuned if you want to listen to this after the finale
[00:02:12] and then make fun of me and see how wrong I get it.
[00:02:15] That is fair game as well. I love to hear from you either way.
[00:02:20] So let's talk a little bit about Survivor 46.
[00:02:23] What an interesting season that we got here from Survivor.
[00:02:28] I think this has been such a fun season, maybe the most fun that we've had here in the new era.
[00:02:36] It's been a tale of two seasons. The stuff in the beginning of the season,
[00:02:41] the Banu days was tough and but interesting.
[00:02:47] I would love to go back. I'd love to re-watch this season.
[00:02:50] I think I'll do that when we get to the postseason.
[00:02:54] I'd love to do interviews with so many different people from this cast
[00:02:57] and I hope to bring those to you in, if not in May, then certainly in June
[00:03:03] and just see how many that we can go back and talk to
[00:03:06] and I think it would be very fun to go back and especially those days at Yanu
[00:03:10] because I think they did loom very large over the course of the season
[00:03:15] to have Q and Tiffany and ultimately Kenzie come out of that group
[00:03:19] and some of the groundwork that was laid in the early part of the season.
[00:03:23] But this stretch over these last six, seven weeks has really just been incredible.
[00:03:30] This season has been so unpredictable to have, I believe, four straight people out of the game with an idol,
[00:03:37] everybody on the jury out of the game with a blindside
[00:03:41] and then you come into this final five with these two real power players in Charlie and Maria.
[00:03:52] Maria having won three immunity challenges, Charlie having won two immunity challenges
[00:04:00] and then also Charlie won the reward challenge in this last episode.
[00:04:05] I mean, Charlie went toe-to-toe with Hunter in a couple of the other challenges
[00:04:11] earlier in the season.
[00:04:12] So you have these two big players in my estimation who are here,
[00:04:19] probably the prohibited favorites on paper to go out and win the game
[00:04:25] and then as I want to get into the edit of it all,
[00:04:30] you have Kenzie who's probably had the biggest edit out of any of the five.
[00:04:35] Maybe Charlie, but I feel like in the new era, the person that's gotten the Charlie edit,
[00:04:42] I feel like has not been the person who has gone on to win the game.
[00:04:47] So let me talk through a little bit of where I think this final five is going.
[00:04:51] We had the last tribal council where Q went home and Maria ends up with a lot of egg on her face.
[00:05:00] Being the person, she tried to put the move on Charlie,
[00:05:04] not tried to put the moves on Charlie, I tried to put the hit on Charlie.
[00:05:07] Would that be better?
[00:05:08] Tried to pull off a big move on Charlie and then ultimately it did not work.
[00:05:13] Charlie was able to keep his word.
[00:05:15] He said he was voting for Q.
[00:05:17] Maria, how could you?
[00:05:19] He can clutch his pearls when he gets back to camp.
[00:05:23] Maria looks like that she is going to be the person who is most likely to go out at the final five.
[00:05:31] But we saw in the last episode, when Maria's back has been against the wall,
[00:05:36] she's been really driven.
[00:05:39] When she didn't get her letters, she said that determination fueled her.
[00:05:43] What if Maria wins immunity at the final five?
[00:05:46] I think most people probably are counting Maria out.
[00:05:50] I kind of think that maybe she wins this immunity challenge.
[00:05:55] Or if not, could the idol come back into play at the final five?
[00:06:00] So I guess what I'm going to say differently than what a lot of other people have been saying is,
[00:06:05] I think Maria gets by at five.
[00:06:09] What if Maria gets immunity?
[00:06:12] I kind of think everybody else looks up and says, well, I think it's going to be Charlie.
[00:06:17] And I think that this edit that Charlie has had might be more consistent with some of the other people we see go out in the finale like a Ricard.
[00:06:30] Jesse went out at four.
[00:06:33] But I kind of feel like if Charlie gets to firemaking, I think he's going to be able to make the fire or at least win the immunity challenge.
[00:06:40] So the first thing I'm going to predict is that the person who goes out in fifth place in the season is going to be Charlie.
[00:06:48] I'm going to say Maria wins her fourth immunity of the season.
[00:06:52] And then everybody looks up and says, all right, well, I guess let's just take out Charlie now.
[00:06:57] What are they going to do? Vote out Liz in this spot?
[00:07:00] I think they vote out Charlie.
[00:07:02] OK, but it would be probably for maximum chaos.
[00:07:06] I mean, if Charlie and Maria both make it to final four, that would be pretty incredible.
[00:07:12] OK, I'm going to predict Charlie goes out at the final five.
[00:07:14] OK, final four. The final four immunity challenge winner.
[00:07:19] There's been a lot of people that have won this final four challenge that it's been kind of random.
[00:07:29] Romeo wins a final four challenge.
[00:07:34] Heidi came out of nowhere, won the final four challenge in the new era.
[00:07:40] Now, I don't know if this would be totally out of nowhere.
[00:07:43] Kenzie has won one immunity challenge earlier this season.
[00:07:48] She won the doghouse challenge, the first immunity challenge of the season.
[00:07:53] Could she bookend this and win the final four immunity challenge?
[00:07:59] And then Kenzie, she's got to choose.
[00:08:03] OK, who am I going to take to the final three?
[00:08:07] Kenzie, I'm going to predict, says of Liz, Maria and Ben, Ben, you're going to the final three.
[00:08:18] So Kenzie wins final four challenge, takes Ben, sending Maria and Liz to firemaking.
[00:08:28] Maria, we heard in the last episode, Maria can make the fire.
[00:08:34] Maria beats Liz, makes the fire.
[00:08:38] Final three set, Kenzie, Maria, Ben.
[00:08:44] And this is an interesting final trial, but counsel showed out.
[00:08:47] Now, I don't think that Ben is a factor for now.
[00:08:52] But Maria versus Kenzie, Maria has won four immunity challenges at this point.
[00:09:01] Kenzie's won two. OK.
[00:09:04] Maria, I think, has the bigger resume.
[00:09:10] But Kenzie has the Riz.
[00:09:13] It's the battle of Riz versus Riz in the final tribal council.
[00:09:18] And the jury, I think, is going to be conflicted.
[00:09:24] We saw back at the split tribal council, Soda and Tevin, they were working with Maria, although Maria did blindside Soda.
[00:09:33] But Tevin and Maria had a connection.
[00:09:36] I think Soda and Tevin are Maria votes.
[00:09:39] But then here comes Hunter, he called Kenzie his number one.
[00:09:43] I think that's a Kenzie vote. Tiffany, I think is a Kenzie vote.
[00:09:48] Venus is a Kenzie vote.
[00:09:52] Now we get to Q. Q, he loved Maria.
[00:09:55] Charlie's on the jury. I think that Charlie has got to cast his vote for Maria.
[00:10:01] That's four votes for Maria, three votes for Kenzie.
[00:10:04] Here's Liz. Liz and Kenzie, we saw them together.
[00:10:08] They were moving as a pair in the last episode.
[00:10:10] I think Liz would be a vote for Kenzie.
[00:10:12] Uh-oh. Four-four tie.
[00:10:15] What's going to happen?
[00:10:17] Ben, you got no votes. You're eliminated.
[00:10:20] Ben has to go cast the deciding vote.
[00:10:23] And this time he writes down Kenzie's name on purpose.
[00:10:28] The person that stayed up with him at nighttime, helped him through his night terrors.
[00:10:34] And I think that in a tie-break vote for the second time in Survivor history...
[00:10:39] I know I predicted the other day it wouldn't be a tie, but let's go with it here.
[00:10:43] And I'll say Kenzie beats Maria five to four in the finals.
[00:10:50] It's going to be, I think, a polarizing final tribal council and a polarizing result of...
[00:10:58] Mom versus mother.
[00:11:00] And I think people are going to have a lot to say.
[00:11:02] I think we'll have many interesting discussions on the podcast about this, if it plays out that way.
[00:11:09] Really, I think that what I see more is that Kenzie beats Charlie in a close vote.
[00:11:14] But I think the person that gets the edit like Charlie has, that has been the narrator of the season...
[00:11:21] I think typically that person does not make it to the final tribal council.
[00:11:25] And certainly does not make it to the final tribal council and lose.
[00:11:28] I can't think of that player who has narrated the season.
[00:11:34] I guess you could say Carolyn, but Carolyn I think was a different story in terms of...
[00:11:38] I don't think that you were getting these strategic confessionals from Carolyn that you got from Charlie.
[00:11:44] It's going to be wild to see how it plays out.
[00:11:47] So I think that there is a lot of intrigue going into this Survivor 46 finale.
[00:11:51] So I'm really looking forward to seeing how this all plays out.
[00:11:54] Of course, that will take us into the Survivor offseason.
[00:11:57] Lots of intrigue in the Survivor offseason right now between Survivor 50.
[00:12:00] Also, the Australian Survivor versus USA that is potentially looming.
[00:12:07] I got a chance to catch up with Shannon Guss at Mike Bloom.
