[00:01:49] Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Survivor News. Da, da, da. And we are back with your Survivor News, covering Survivor Season 48, Episode 10. The baby boys are back, and we decided to bring a friend.
[00:02:14] And let's welcome back to the podcast the man who was the first merged boot on Winners at War, but does have ownership of an amazing hotel in Old City, Philadelphia called The Gas Lamp. You should book it today. Let's welcome back to the podcast, Wendy Z. Good to be back. Good to be back. I am happy to be with the Baby Boys Plus One on this fine evening.
[00:02:40] Yes. After a time in Austin, we now can confirm that the Jack Shack does truly exist. Let's welcome the CEO, the president of the Jack Shack, Mr. Jackery Atkins. What's up? Yeah, yeah. Wait, y'all. I'm back in L.A. after an amazing last week in Austin, rocking a new hat that I got in Austin.
[00:03:08] So, feeling good. We got a great guest today, too. So, it's a win, a win, a win. Well, listen, I don't know what time of year you are listening to the podcast in, but according to me, it is dove hunting season. I'm ready to be shot. Let's welcome back, or let's welcome to the podcast, the standout star from Survivor Season 46, Mr. Hunter McKnight.
[00:03:37] Hunter, what's popping? What's going on? I don't know if standout star is the right description of my time in 46, but I'm happy to be here. I'm excited. And it's turkey season, by the way, right now. Well, Hunter, that makes even more sense because in Philadelphia, they say I got a turkey. But anyway. It's all about the gobble gobble. Oh, boy.
[00:04:07] But yeah, welcome. Hunter, have you been watching this season? What do you think of this season so far? Well, it's been a lot of fun. It's weird because it feels like it's been broken down into two different seasons. The really crazy, who knows what's going to happen first pre-merge part of the season, and then a little bit more predictable post-merge. And so I have no idea where it's going to head from here, but it's been a lot of fun. Yeah, it's been crazy. Wendell and I have been on the Bryce and Wynn Tour 48.
[00:04:36] We had an amazing, when I say an immaculate stop in Philadelphia, it was our biggest Philadelphia crowd since we have started Bryce and Wynn. The energy in the air was amazing. The people that came out, we had some special guests. But Hunter and Jack, do you want to know what my favorite part of the night was? Of course.
[00:05:00] Okay, well, I'm just, you know, doing what I do best, working the crowd, saying hello to people. And Jack, I saw some posse members in the building. The posse members said, hey, Bryce, come over here. Say, y'all. They said, we love Survivor News. We love the baby boy, Jack. But listen, we got to talk about Wendy's. Okay? And we feel like he needs a pep talk. We don't know what's going on. We don't know if he's cleaning his cuticles.
[00:05:30] In the middle of them talking, I said, we got to get Wendell in here. I said, Wendell! Wendell came over. They all were looking like, hi. Wendell was like, hey, nice to meet you. They were like, hey, hey, we need to talk. Okay? I just love how the posse has been loud and right and getting Wendy's together. Okay? It's happened at every stop. It is something. The posse gets Wendell together.
[00:06:00] Wendell, anything you want to say? Oh. Wendell's very active. Speaking of which, is this part of the bit? Or is this... No, no, no. Wendell's very active. I fell asleep. I love it when I get to see the posse out and about. Love the jack shack. Love it when people tell me how much I fall asleep. Love it when people tell me that I'll use my foot massager during the pod. What?
[00:06:32] You didn't out of yourself there. Oh, they let you know. I love that I have a very, you know, loving work environment where my coworkers call me out on the pod and then proceed to weaponize their followings. I think the Wendell is non-existent.
[00:06:49] And then I pride myself because I did all of this stuff on TV and no matter what I'd see online, no one would talk trash to me to my face. However, ever since we've been pod in this season, I get in these streets and everybody's pulling me out now. So, you know, I love it that the posse, the jack shack pull up on me and call me out. It's just great.
[00:07:20] Wendell, where are we? I need my people. Wendell, speakeasy people pull up. I need some help. That's all I'm saying. I'm going back to sleep. Okay. Well, thank you. I got to say, though, Wendell, the last few weeks, I mean, I feel like you've been catching your stride. So I think, you know, maybe it's a little bit of a delayed response. But by 49, you know, you might be back in good favor with the posse. You've been cooking the last few weeks, though. So, you know, respect.
[00:07:49] Wait, when did the falling out start? When did they start going after them? Episode one of C-48. Episode one of C-48. Hunter, I can't live out here. Hunter, I was like. They are getting your boy, man. I don't know. The funniest comment I think was, I think it was one week that Wendell was not able to make the podcast. And someone said, like, minute 50 is when I realized Wendell wasn't here. Hey, yo. Hey, yo.
[00:08:19] Wendell's stepping up. So, yeah. Wendell's been doing his thing. And listen, we've got three stops left on the Bryce and Wendt Tour 48. We are headed to the District of Columbia next week. From there, we are heading to Boston. And from Boston, we will be in New York City for the finale of season 48. And it's shaping up to be one of our best ones yet.
[00:08:44] So, if you want to join the fun, if you want to call Wendell out in person, now is your chance. With a low cost of... Yeah, take it half off if you've got something to say to Wendell. Yeah. Don't give them any ideas. Use code WENDIN. Head over to BryceandWend.com. But no, Philly really was something truly special.
[00:09:14] We had Mary in the building. We had Kyle in the building. We had Star pull up. Hey. And it was very special. We had some buddy games. We had our Survivor people there. We had some new shows that haven't even premiered yet on NBC Peacock. So, Philly did his thing. I will say that when we were thinking about people they invite to Philly, we just thought that Star would be great for Philadelphia.
[00:09:42] We're like, the Philly people will take to Star. And we invite her, and we're like, please, please come, whatever. She says, yes, absolutely. I'm there for y'all. And when she walked in, her energy in particular. Now, granted, Kyle's great. Mary is Mother Mary. But Star, the Philly people love Star. And for it to be this episode of hers,
[00:10:07] it was very special that we had 250 of our hometown there to support her. So, it was a great, great night. Yeah. Oh, no, that's awesome. Yes. That helps to blow a little bit. Yeah. Definitely. Well, I mean, we got a lot to get into. The Twitter streets have been on fire. What is happening? Good thing we went to Austin last week. That's all I'm saying.
[00:10:36] If the season's not giving, you know Twitter is going to give. So, yeah. We've been making it every 20-1-1-1. Yeah, this episode. Oh, am I lagging? No, you're good. Yeah, this episode. It was one of the Survivor episodes of all time. I mean. Right when we were hoping things might turn around, we're right back to square one.
[00:11:05] I will say there was, I thought the editing was really fun this episode. I'm glad Star got some shine on her way out. We've been saying it all season. Give us more Star. I think there's a lot to unpack with Star as well. But I was just glad we got to see so much of her. Especially the rapping. I thought it was a great time. Shout out to Chris Noble. And then, yeah. I mean, Mitch is catching a lot of heat. And I got some things to say about Mitch too. But I'll save that for when we dive into that.
[00:11:34] But where should we start it off? Hunter, as the guest, where do you want to start things off on this episode? Well, I will say, just carrying on with Star. It was nice to see her read on all of it. Because we haven't gotten her perspective on a lot of what's happening. But she was spot on with what the viewer wanted. What the promo looked like it was going to happen. Everything that we expected to happen, Star was at least pushing for. And so it was good to see that she had that read.
[00:12:01] It seemed very clear, very obvious that she had a grasp on it. Even if it didn't come to fruition. At least it was nice. Like you said, they gave her that bit of shine before the inevitable happened. It's interesting because we start the episode off with Star being funny. Talking about Mitch's snoring. And how we know when Mitch is asleep because he snores super, super loud.
[00:12:28] And for me, it kind of almost was like, are the editors foreshadowing to us? Like, kind of, sort of, the breakdown of, I don't know. But I just thought that that was just funny. Because I was thinking, like, what is a trait of everyone here on this podcast? Or everyone that's played Survivor and The Circle. Do you, like, when you were out there on the island,
[00:12:55] do you remember something that people did that got on your nerves while you were out there? But, like, obviously in a fun-loving way because I could go first. For me, on those six short hours that I was on the island, the thing that annoyed me the absolute most was Jeremiah from my season.
[00:13:20] In the morning times, he had the most wicked morning breath. Like, I feel like when you have morning breath, I feel like you can taste it, right? Can you, sometimes, you know, Hunter, if you ain't, you know, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Jeremiah will wake up in the morning and be like, right. And I'll be like, oh!
[00:13:48] Like, that was the thing that got on my nerves the absolute most. Was just, like, waking up. But it's really weird, though, because Jeremiah had a very, like, specific morning breath set. And, I mean, I'll be lying if I didn't say, you know, sometimes I just kind of miss it a little bit. You know? You miss it? Sometimes you just want a little rotten egg in the morning. What?
[00:14:19] Oh, goodness. Now, whenever I was out there, I think they did a pretty good job of showing it. But my tribe loved, really loved to sing. And I'll preface this by saying Soda and Tevin can sing, right? They sing better than some of the people I've ever met. But they came up with this NAMI song. And let me tell you, the producers loved that song. They had us singing it when we walked in from a challenge. Had us singing it when we walked out. Had us singing it around the campfire.
[00:14:48] I was like, I'm sick of this song. And I think it only got aired once. But we probably sang it 40 times. I was like, can we please stop with that? And then another thing is, okay, anybody going on Survivor, at least the second part, they do two seasons in a row. And it's actually technically winter, like in the southern hemisphere, which is where you are. So it's a little bit colder. But it's not that cold, in my opinion. The lows were like 65 or so.
[00:15:17] But we, my tribe, needed a fire all night, okay? They needed one all night. They were like, we need a fire. But guess who collected the firewood? I did, okay? To the point. And this is, like, I understand, like, I have had experiences, like, collecting firewood and burning fires, like, a lot of my life. So I understand that I probably am a little more professional at it. One night, the fire had gone out. And I'm fine with it. I was fine with it. They were sitting around the fire.
[00:15:47] I moved. They said, oh, good, you're awake. We're out of the room. What? What? Like, look. Lower a week, too. But see, they couldn't find it. They didn't know where to get the wood. And that's, again, I understand. They haven't, like, so we grew up, like, we heated our house with the fire, okay? They like to burn, like, the palm tree husk. I was like, that ain't going to do anything for you. Right. It's just to, like, kind of put it out.
[00:16:13] And so I would, like, hop up and, like, walk through the woods, go come up with the bundle, put it down, and go to sleep. And then one day I tried. I was like, hey, guys, like, do we have to have a fire at night? And they were like, yes, we do. And that was the end of the conversation. I was like, all right, then. I heard that one. That we will have a fire then. Did you feel like that was important to your game, though? Like, even though if you didn't want to do it, did you feel like you maybe would have had to do it to stay in the good graces? Or you just, you're just Hunter and a good guy?
[00:16:41] Well, I think at that time I was trying to be a good guy. But looking back, I should have, like, I should have let him get cold. Because I think it would have made it more interesting to see it fall apart a little more. But, you know, I'm not going to be mad that I wasn't nice to somebody. So, but it was one of those things that, like, man, I wish we'd have to, like, gather this firewood. Because there's only so much firewood in that area. And you have to go further and further and further each time to collect more. But, yeah, that was one of my pet peeves out there.
[00:17:10] It would have been better TV for you to not let them. But you're a nice guy. I know. I know. I look back on that all the time. And even in my audition tape, I was talking about how I'm not going to be the guy who's just, like, making everybody comfortable. Then I get out there immediately. It's like, oh, great. I got all these people I'm, like, taking care of. Yeah, the good graces of people that way, though. So it's a valid move. But it is funny because you're talking about, you know, you obviously are more proficient with the firewood and everything. But it's just firewood. It's out there.
[00:17:39] It's something they could go to, too. We would say that. And maybe they were playing me and pretending. That's usually what they tell me. But they were like, can you show us where you get the firewood? And so I would have to, like, take them. Like, this is where I get it from. And so I don't know. From the trees. Branches. It is. Wendell, anything?
[00:18:02] I vocalized my frustrations on my season of Ghost Island in a vote out where I let my good buddy know, my good buddy Chris Noble know that I didn't particularly love his rapping too much. And I thought he should say less of that. On the island. No, actually, it was he was rapping all the time. Chris Noble did a lot of talking about himself and everything.
[00:18:31] And he thought he was this phenomenal rapper. And I thought it was actually, I would put a battery in his back. I'd be like, yo, Chris, give us some bars. Yo, what's up, Chris? Tell me that Dwayne Wayne rap again. Yeah. I thought that it kept a lot of eyes on him. And it was silly and funny. We kind of laughed at it. But yeah, that rapping was, he's not the best rapper.
[00:18:59] He's a good person, but he's not the best rapper. So that was it for me. I wish, I wish I would have been able to listen to Star's bars more so than Chris's bars. And then rock that. And then Jet, on your season of Survivor, what was the, I mean, the circle? Anything from the circle or the forest? I was alone the whole time pretty much. So what did you do? What's that bothered me with me?
[00:19:29] I look in the mirror and be like, What are you doing? Me and Ken. You can't pass your breath. The mannequin they put in my room, that bothered me a little bit. Did somebody fart? Who was that? Well, they did. So we did have producers that, you know, they could talk to us in our room through a speaker. And some of them I really enjoyed.
[00:19:58] Some of them, a little bit less. I had the same guy every night who was awesome. But then every day I had like a different person. So it always kind of felt like a little bit of a flux. But I do remember there was one, we had one off day in the middle where we were still, you know, confined to our apartments. But we weren't filming. We could kind of chill. They got me like, let me order food. And let me go up to the hot tub. And I had some like production assistant assigned to me for the day. He came, he swung by the hot tub to come say hi.
[00:20:27] Hadn't worked with him at all. And then I'm sitting in the hot tub and he was like, So you know, like we're in the latter half of the game. Like you might want to start thinking about your strategy. And I was like, I was like, bro, I'm thinking about my strategy. I don't know who you are, but at that point in the game I was doing okay too. So this was before, before the accident happened. That was a little bit annoying.
[00:20:51] It wasn't a, it wasn't another player, but you know, you're always dealing with, with stuff that, you know, might rub you the wrong way. But I think Mitch is snoring, not, it's a fun loving thing. But a lot of people, a lot of people saying Mitch, a little bit of sleep in the game right now. What do you guys think about those takes? What did Mitch's move or lack thereof this episode? Less preference or preference.
[00:21:21] Okay. Thank you, Hunter. No, that less preference. Preface. Preface. Hunter, yes, it's preface, but sometimes we let him sit with it. Okay, sorry. No, Hunter, Hunter, Hunter. Hunter. He would have said preference 72 more times. That's why I'm so quiet. It's going to happen again in this episode too, so you'll be ready to go.
[00:21:47] Let's preface this by saying that we love Mitch, okay? Mitch don't miss. However, in my opinion from watching this, I think that Mitch might be caught up in the big guy alliance. And I think that he might be caught up with like trying to get into that as his way to make a move and get him big.
[00:22:16] And I think that he might be missing the opportunity of like the unusual suspects that he could gather up. And I think when, I don't know if it was Mary he was talking to, but it was like, you want to be at the bottom of that alliance or do you want to be at the top? And I also thought that was crazy even for Mary to pitch that of like literally Mary being like, it's me, Camilla, and Star. You'll be running us. You would be our gym teacher.
[00:22:45] Mr. Lions. And I think that Mitch, again, and I can see where you can get lost in being like, I don't want to work with y'all. Like I want to be with the big dogs. I'm a big dog. I want to be over there. But I think that that might be maybe his Achilles heel is that like he can't see what he could potentially do over there. Yeah, I agree. I will. It is hard because you don't get all the information that's out there.
[00:23:13] And so who knows what kind of conversations he had with Star and Mary to make him feel like he can't trust him. If he's just basing it off of the one vote. And I guess I'll preference this. I got voted out before Mitch did on my season. So this is the guy who maybe doesn't know what he's talking about. It is kind of weird that he hasn't jumped at it. But he isn't getting all the information that we're getting. And so maybe he feels like he's in a better spot.
[00:23:39] But it was, you had your fingers crossed that maybe this was the moment that he was going to make this happen and jump across. But he was snoring, I guess. Wendell, what about, I have a lot of thoughts on this, but I want to kick it to you, Wendell, before I get in there. I think you could write a dissertation on this.
[00:24:00] I think the person that Mitch is, maybe who, I just think that there might be some degree of like, and again, we know Mitch in real life. We love Mitch in real life. But there might be some degree of, I'm looking at this group, this, oh my gosh, this is the like strong, whatever, handsome, cool, dominant group. And there might be some sort of, I want to be a part of this group. Or I've historically wanted to be a part of this group.
[00:24:30] Being someone growing up with a stutter, I don't know what it's like to walk in his shoes, you know? So there might be something where it's like, nah, I'm just, I'm just going to cling to this group, even if I'm whatever the case may be. And look for any reason not to get with this other group, when traditionally in new era survivor, people are trying to bust up those groups and everything flying like shrapnel.
[00:24:56] So I'd say it's so tough to watch. And again, I feel like for half of this season, I've been comparing this season to Ghost Island. Because a lot of people have been saying like, hey, take that shot at Dom and Wen. Take that shot. Hey, Laurel, Donathan, take that shot at Dom and Wen. And now we're looking at, or Angela, or Kellen tried to try, you know, Sebastian kind of tried.
[00:25:22] Like in this case, we're watching these people that y'all, y'all didn't have the critical mass, but you had 50%. You guys can try something. And in Mitch's case, it's just, it's difficult to watch. We know Mitch. We've been watching Mitch play a really strong game as far as like, he's great in challenges. And we know he's a smart man. Sometimes when you're out there, in your head, it's like, I need to make sure I'm here the next day.
[00:25:52] But it almost looks like he's delaying the inevitable right now. It's like, all right, they're going to get to you soon. You're just, you're watching all these other people. Then it's going to be you. So. Yeah. And I can, I can like agree with that. At least on my season, there was like a certain point that I was really going to start trying to push things. But I felt like I needed to get, you know, of course, it's final eight, final eight or final seven, because the challenges change.
[00:26:19] Right now they're in that like body weight balancing. And I don't think that's Mitch's like expertise. He's really great at the ending carnival games, tossing things, landing things. And so he may be like, if I can just like stick with them until this point, then I can take off. But who knows how it didn't work for me. So we'll see what happens. But what's weird is he, he has a read on it. And he, you hear this inner dilemma of like, I know people are at home are saying I should do this.
[00:26:49] It's not like he's just completely naive and just like going along with it. He like has that inner dilemma. Yeah. Before you answer, Jack, because now, because I feel like you can weigh in on this and Hunter definitely too. I feel like in the new era. Right. And before maybe this season. Right. We got rid of the voting blocks. Right. And so people were kind of like one day we'll vote this way. The next day, a whole group of people will vote another way. Right.
[00:27:16] And so it's kind of like made what we love about this new era. So great. You hear Mitch's point saying that he just can't trust star. Right. Like, and is there any world where it's like, see how this goes? Like, try this way. See what star does. Or is he right that like, if you can't trust somebody, you just can't go with that plan. Because like for me, I'm like, let's do a Hail Mary. See what happens. See what can go with this. But I don't know.
[00:27:45] It seemed like Mitch was just being like, I can't trust her. And you do have to go with your instincts in Survivor. Can't trust somebody. What you going to do? Yeah. So can I give my Mitch? Okay. I'll comment on that in a second. I'm going to address your question too. Okay. Okay. This might be a really hot take. This might be a really hot take. And this might be a little biased because I'm a Mitch fan.
[00:28:14] Got to kick it with him last week at Lucky Duck in Austin, Texas. But that is quack, quack. But it's okay. So prior to this episode, obviously, I think we would have liked to see Mitch be a little bit more active. But at times we see certain people weren't necessarily wanting to work with him. I also saw someone theorize that I thought was really interesting that the reason we haven't. You can put the glasses down. We need to know where you're going first.
[00:28:43] I'm about to defend Mitch, I think, more than anybody on this. Okay. In his episodes, again, maybe could be a little bit more active. I saw someone theorize that the reason we hadn't seen a ton of Mitch recently is because a lot of his confessionals might be him thinking he's really in that core alliance when he's not. So they're not going to show that. But this episode, I actually think that it makes a lot of sense for Mitch to not rock the boat. And here's why.
[00:29:12] So to your question, Bryce, it's less about, to me, less about his distrust of Star and Mary and more about who he does trust and what would happen in the instance that he flips. So Joe wins immunity, so they can't target Joe. Eva, they know, publicly has an idol. And so if the four of them actually amount some sort of rebellion, they go to tribal. You know, assuming someone catches wind of it, Eva might play her idol.
[00:29:40] She also could use her safety without power, send one of the minority four out, and then retain the majority. And then, okay, what? So even if Eva doesn't play her idol, what? They put four votes on Eva. If the plan goes swimmingly and they go to rocks and get out someone from the opposite side, who goes home? In that instance, that would allegedly benefit Mitch. It would be Shaheen or Kyle. Kyle's probably Mitch's closest ally, aside from maybe Camilla at this point.
[00:30:08] And so to me, Mitch, this would be a huge swing for Mitch where on paper, his best case scenario is that what, like Kyle goes home, right? That doesn't make sense for Mitch. I think it makes a lot more sense for Mitch to go with an easy vote here. And then hopefully at final seven, I think there's a very real possibility, at least I'm holding out hope, that Mitch, Mary, Camilla can bring over Kyle and then make their big move. Whereas if he makes a move last night, what? He goes to rocks.
[00:30:37] Eva might play an idol. Joe's safe. So what? Then like if Eva plays her idol, then they vote for Shaheen. And then Kyle, Mitch, Mary, Camilla draw rocks, in which case 75% of the time, one of them goes home anyways. Like that is not the time to make a move. Now, I think before this, Mitch could have been moving and shaking a little bit more. And I think going forward, I hope he does. I'm a little worried. You know, it's too little too late. But I know people are really like itching for Mitch.
[00:31:05] I don't think this was the episode to do it, given how everything shook out. So that's what I don't think Mitch should have gone to rocks. My pushback on you is the idea to going to rocks was an idea. But I thought Kyle came to Camilla and said, I'm not going to organize it, but you get the numbers and I'm voting with you. No, he said he wasn't.
[00:31:32] I think he effectively said he wasn't going to vote for Joe, but he would allow the plan to formulate and allow it to happen. But if Kyle isn't willing to vote for Joe, then they're going to have four votes at most. But what if it was Eva? That would do what? Jack is saying in the event that somehow she or they snipped out the plan and she could use one of these things of hers. I mean, we weren't shown much of that idea.
[00:32:00] Obviously, I think for those players, maybe it would have been best to try to put five votes on Eva. But given the logic that Kyle was saying about Joe is like going for Eva is almost an attack on Joe. And it just doesn't seem like Kyle necessarily wants to do that yet. And I like his idea of allowing Camilla to pull the trigger on that. But obviously, in this instance, Kyle is the essential vote there. It's not really going to happen without him. Because I think next week, Kyle is going to be in a swing position to make a move.
[00:32:30] And I think if Kyle can switch over to that other side, he has a great shot to win the game. I hope he doesn't stick with Joe, Eva and Shaheen. I think Shaheen has some valid reasons to shake things up. And obviously, if this happens next week, which is really going to be the pivotal moment, Mitch might have a little bit more wiggle room. Now, Mitch at that point wouldn't have a lot of agency in that move necessarily. So I don't necessarily know if Mitch can win.
[00:33:00] But I don't think anything he would have done last night really would have given him a good, like any sort of significant chance to actually improve his stock to win the game. So if you're saying that you don't see it for Mitch to win, wouldn't it be, again, I only played six hours. My question is, isn't it better? Don't you want to see somebody go down swinging and crawl?
[00:33:29] Not crawling, but like scarring out? I agree. I think you have to be strategic in when you're going to go down swinging. And I think the idea, so it's what? It's okay, finally, I try to force rocks, even though Joe is safe and Eva might play an idol or she could use her safety without power or whatever. And even if that all works out, what? Like Mary, Camilla and Mitch would all still have to draw rocks. So over the majority of the time, one of them is going to go home.
[00:33:57] And he's closer with those people seemingly than with Star. At least he's closer with Camilla. Or does he say, let's get through this vote. Final seven. I could put it all out there and try to get Camilla, Mary, Mitch, Kyle to be the four. I think that's a more reasonable option. And obviously, if that works out, I still don't think he's like a front runner by any means. But say they take out Joe and they take out Eva and maybe they take out like Kyle. Mitch might see a path with like Mary and Camilla.
[00:34:26] Now, I think Camilla would win in that instance from what we've seen. But I think that's sort of his best bet to give himself a shot, right? Okay, listen, I'm learning the game from you, Jack. I will say, I think there is some as a viewer, we want something to happen because it feels like we see where the check's going. And so that buys onto it. But I will also say, even if the plan doesn't work, since they're not targeting Eva. I'm sorry, they're not targeting Kyle or Camilla. The plan to still use the four.
[00:34:53] Like they're not targeting one of the four that you mentioned that they can use for the seven. And so making this move now gives them almost more wiggle room if it does go wrong. Like if they do aim at Eva, she plays her idol and Star goes home. They've at least still got their four that you just said they would use. And the idol's gone. True. But if they go to Rocks, then Star and Eva are now safe. And then Kyle, Mary, Camilla, or Mitch go home. I don't think they go to Rocks.
[00:35:22] I think Kyle gets scared because he knows about this. Like he goes in and he says, I was scared. I'm not risking my game. He's not burned Joe. He hasn't burned Eva. Like at some point you have to be like, okay, I respect your self-preservation in that moment. You can't hold someone at fault or not. But I know maybe the cast can. I don't know. They might hold you to it. But because it did seem like because Kyle, like you said, Kyle was like giving an opening to Camilla to make that move.
[00:35:52] Even with who he pulled on the journey, which I thought was actually like pretty interesting. Not the journey. The reward was pretty interesting. And so surely in his head, he wasn't like, I'm going to give Camilla a chance to make a move that may result in me pulling a rock to go home. Like that would be. So you think Kyle would flip? I think he would have. I think he would have flipped in a way that makes him look okay. Hey, Hunter, do you hear Bryce's straws getting slugged right now? What is he doing?
[00:36:21] His britchers, I think, are starting to moisten you. When you mentioned what Kyle did with who he picked, my britcher started to get a little voice. I thought it was Wendell dipping his feet in like a foot bath. Between the roller and the... I need one of those. Hunter, don't give him any ideas.
[00:36:44] However, when Kyle won this reward challenge and he picked the people that he picked, I'm sitting there and I'm at the watch party. Are you looking for the name place? Are you looking for the name place? I was looking for... Look, there was no name place here. Can't ever be too sure in Survivor. But I'm looking at Kyle like, what is you doing? On first glance, I'm like, why are you bringing Camilla?
[00:37:15] Why are you bringing Eva? I see why you're bringing Shaheen. I just felt like from my first me seeing it, I'm like, there are a lot of other people that you could kind of just bring to let other things happen. However... I thought that was the perfect group to bring. Again, I was at a Bryce and Wendt party. I had a cocktail. I was, you know, watching the screen. I said, what's going on?
[00:37:42] But when Kyle gave his explanation to that screen and said, I'm doing this for Camilla. And I said, well, how the hell are you doing this for Camilla? She right with you. But when he said, I want those other people to be back at... Whoa! I want those other people to be back at camp. To get mad. So that... Whoa! So that with Camilla. Oh! Whoa!
[00:38:10] Camilla, come back with the plan! Oh! Oh! What is going on? Oh! I had to excuse myself from the theater because I said, my brain just doesn't work like that. Like, I would have never thought, like, my mind would have been like, okay, bring them with us so we could talk. But in my mind, him saying, keep them out here.
[00:38:39] Let them be hungry. Let them be mad because they'll be more appetite. More hungry? I'd be more... Enticed? Enticed! More motivated? More motivated. Motivated. More preference. There'll be more preference to then be so mad to want to work with her.
[00:39:09] I thought that was genius. I mean, my seat had a visible stain in it on the theater. So I apologize to the French bar for seat seven in the front row. Yeah, I thought... Well, I thought the picks were great for that reason. I also thought they were great in the sense that even if he wants to keep working with his alliance, he picks Eva, he picks Shaheen, he gets to bring Camilla into the fold a little bit and uses a good cover. And then Joe is the perfect person to... You can go back and be like,
[00:39:39] Joe, I trust you so much that I want to let these other people eat because I knew I could trust you to babysit. I trust you the most. And I think that's a very reasonable explanation as well, too. My only thing with Kyle is... Now, I think Kyle is playing the strongest game of anyone right now in terms of... I mean, I guess Joe and Eva have a really strong fold. But Kyle, I like where his head's at the most. The only thing with this episode is that,
[00:40:04] A, I think he lets Camilla lock and load and get ready to pull the trigger. But I think Kyle knows that he is the essential vote this round. And so you can let Camilla go line things up as much as you want, but if you're not going to take the shot, too, it's not going to work. The other issue with that is if Kyle gets to the end with Camilla and he's been saying, I'm going to let you take the shot, I think Camilla has a great argument at final tribal council to be like,
[00:40:34] oh, you know that move where we blindsided you that you thought Kyle was with you? He wanted it to happen, but he didn't want to take the ball into his court and do it himself. So he made me do it. So I did the dirty work, but Kyle was on board. I think that would turn Joe and a lot of people. I think that would win Camilla the game. So Kyle's giving Camilla a lot of ammunition here. But is he, though? Because I also kind of feel... But listen, I also kind of felt like it's kind of like when I meet somebody and I go on a date and it's so fun,
[00:41:02] and then I'm like, hey, good morning. And they text me back, good morning. Okay, a week later, good morning. How are you? And they hit me with a GM. Then three days later, I'm like, hey. And now you get the thumbs up. Listen to me. It's zero world where Kyle is so committed to Camilla, right? But Kyle also is playing his own game. And you're right.
[00:41:32] He is actually the part. He could put his foot down. He's a size 12. He could put that size 12 foot down right now and rock with Camilla's plan. But he's not because he's still staying with the other people that keep the power. And so at this point, he's empowering Camilla. Camilla like, good morning. And he's doing the thumbs up. So I think, in my mind, what Kyle is doing is setting himself up the best actual way. He's being connected with Camilla. But he's like, yeah.
[00:42:02] It's like, when I want to do something and I like something, and I'm like, hey, Wendell, what do you think about this? Wendell will hit me with the, we're getting there. Yeah, it's a great point because Kyle is really set up well. And if he wants to stick with this group, like Joe and Eva and Shaheen, he's letting Camilla spin her wheels, think that she's with him, and be okay with the fact that he's not going to necessarily flip and leaving all his options open. But the real question is, like, at what point, like,
[00:42:30] I don't think Kyle going to the end with Joe is the best thing for his game. So at what point does he actually get ready to take the shot? Now, if Kyle can do it next week, then I think it all played out ideally. I think it plays out much better doing it next week than doing it this week because then Kyle's going to be a target. But it's a little bit easier to navigate once you get to, like, the final six, you know, you win a challenge, you make whatever, whereas if he did it now, I think it would be a little bit early. So if Kyle can pull the trigger next week, I think he will win the season,
[00:42:59] and I think he will very, very much deserve to win the season. But if not, then I think, you know, he might end up sitting next to Joe at the end and lose. I was actually surprised this one whenever he showed more allegiance to Joe than I expected him to when he was talking about Camilla wanting to make the move. Like, I was really surprised that he's like, but I don't want Joe to go. And I'm like, whoa, I thought you were, like, ride or die with Camilla this whole time. Like, why was there this pause?
[00:43:26] But because if Joe go, who's the next? Because at this point, Joe is a meat shield for Kyle. And so if Joe go, then it's Kyle. So I think there is something to keeping, well, I mean, I keep Joe around too. But there is something to keep Joe around. So a couple things. First of all, Kyle, when he was talking to Camilla, I think he said, hey, look, I blindsided a lot of those people on the jury,
[00:43:55] and I don't want to do another one right now or something like that. From my perspective, okay, Kyle, that's a convenient excuse for right now for you to say why you don't want to send Joe up there. I think it's more so your allegiance to Joe. And like Bryce said, you're sending Camilla the thumbs up now. Like, I truly view it as him kind of pulling back a little from Camilla. And to speak about Camilla, I was kind of like watching her demeanor this episode.
[00:44:23] And like, you can see in her face that she got a lot going on up here. And as she's like walking by the whole group sitting here or whatever, like you could tell like she wants to do something. She wants to say something, but she's keeping a lot in because it's like her hands are almost tied. But yeah, I just, every time they showed her, I'm like, man, I see some, I see the gears moving just like through her eyes up there. But geez, like,
[00:44:53] y'all had this Guyanese dynamic duo. Kyle, ride with your girl. That's what I was, I wanted him to, I wanted him to do something with her. And I'm scared that, I'm scared that he's not going to shoot that shot. I hope he does. Yeah, it's self-preservation. And so again, only one person can win. Somebody out there, Hunter? Someone driving by real slow. Look it. It's my cousin.
[00:45:23] It's my cousin. I hope so. Cause Hunter don't got no blinds. But anyway, that's a story for a different time. But listen, can we shift gears for 2.3 seconds? Cause I gots to know, first of all, okay, Eva. I love my girl Eva, right? And I just, is this something we missing? Because I feel like when we saw that big episode with Eva, we saw Star be the first person to embrace her. When they merged,
[00:45:51] we saw Star give her the idol. Okay? We saw them come together. And the second Eva is at this dinner that Kyle is throwing, Eva like, we can get rid of Star. I'm tired of her. Get rid of her. Like, Eva, girl, her idol is in your pocket. Like,
[00:46:20] you can't hit her that much. But, again, I, my other criticism to Star is that I don't care how much of a moment, I don't care how much of a whatever. Hey, Hunter, thank you so much for getting that firewood and putting my idol in that fire and it blooms and now I get an idol. I'm keeping my idol. Keep your idols. Don't give it to nobody. I didn't even
[00:46:50] give mine to Jeff. I kept on, like, hold of it so tight. I didn't even give mine to Jeff. But they yanked that thing from me. You know you don't get to keep them? You exit that game and they put you in that tent and they're like, alright, sit here, think about what you did and you gotta give us your idol. It's, it's like, that's like the psychological part where they put you in that tent and they're like, you gotta sit here for 15 minutes and think about this next thing you're about to say. That was crazy. But yeah, it is, it is wild to see Star, the reception of Star by Eva.
[00:47:20] I will also say it ain't because Eva's hungry because she has eaten in every episode since I, I can't even count back how far. I was so surprised when she got picked first because she's eaten at every single one. I feel like we get a montage of her like eating or burping or whatever at some point in an episode. Is that, is like, has there been a reward that she hasn't been on? Like maybe way back at the merge or fake merge. I don't know if she got to go to that one, but I was like, oh, she,
[00:47:50] she's eating well. And that's an ode to Kyle because like, if you can't pick Joe, you can pick Eva and Joe's going to feel like, and so again, it's very smart on Kyle, but yeah, Eva, she, I love to know like more about what the star thing is because everyone is just, or again, maybe it's just even knowing that everyone is wanting to pile on star. So it's like her just being like, okay, let me just cast my vote.
[00:48:19] Keep me safe with the strong alliance. But it is something that does tickle my brain a little bit. She said, she said, okay, so she says she doesn't see things like any gray areas. So maybe she sees star as someone on the outside. And so if you're on the outside, then you are the opposition and my group is the good group and you're on the outside. And so it's very easy for her to say, this is who I want out
[00:48:49] and to be very forceful with that. Yeah. I don't know. And it's not her name. And so it is her idol. I have a question for y'all that might be something that we don't know the answer to. And I've seen not, not he asking questions too. Okay. Wendell right now. What, what can they drop in the comments to, to, to know that I'm talking right now? Give me a question mark. Hey,
[00:49:19] my big, a big red emoji one, big red emoji question mark. Hook me up. Okay. Extra point to anybody that can put all of the emojis that we've requested in order. Oh, Jack, no, but don't say it. All right. Well, now, Joe had something that he said about star. Oh, yeah. That I was like, what do you mean, bro? We love Joe over here.
[00:49:52] We love Joe over here. We know Joe. But Joe said something to the effect of she's his kryptonite. Yeah. Like, like anyone back home would say, no, they didn't put you with. And then he kind of cut off and then he kind of said like, she's his kryptonite or something like that. I just want to know what that means. Yeah, that was really confusing and there was no context. So it was like,
[00:50:21] is this like, oh, he like, he loves, like he loves star and he knows it's going to interrupt his game. So that's like his kryptonite or is it like, oh, he just doesn't like star. So, because it's kryptonite because it just like drags him down. It's a great question. I think it was, I think it's like personality wise. I will say if someone, there's like a personality type for me that is hard for me to feel like I match their energy. Like someone who
[00:50:50] like really needs, like loves to give affirmation and really needs affirmation. Otherwise they feel like you don't like them. I'm not like those kind of people. I feel like they don't like me because I'm not going to be like over the top, like sharing as much like soda was that way. She really, like really cared for people and really wanted like to feel like you receive that. And I'm not good at that. And that's why I talked to Tevin. I was like, Tevin, you have to make sure Soto knows that I don't dislike her because I'm not like matching her energy. And so it may be that, but it did
[00:51:20] not do a good job of, of explaining it. It just made it really weird for whatever reason. And then he said the people at home would know and I'm like, oh wow. Okay. Well, if I was on the, if I was on the tribe with Joe, he'd be my kryptonite too. And everybody at home would know why too.
[00:51:49] okay. So I would, yeah, maybe a personality thing. I mean, we love star, but obviously she's a big personality, very boisterous. And Joe is, you know, pretty low key family, man. So maybe I, if I had to guess, I would guess he just means he's not used to that, the energy that star is putting out. But I feel like star got a bad shake the whole way. Like, yeah, you were, we, we all love star. Like, and now sometimes those big personalities again
[00:52:19] on the island can, can be a little much, but for me, star, I like, I think I would get like stars hilarious. Everything she says is like so funny. So positive too. Yeah. Like that moment, that moment when she's like hyping Eva up, whenever he was having that really hard time, you're like, oh, that was like one of the most endearing moments for me towards star. Cause I feel like we hadn't seen much of her, but her just excitement for Eva in that moment was very endearing. But again, you had to take it with a grain of salt because
[00:52:49] it is a different environment out there where you're like hungry and sleep deprived, but that kind of gets taken away whenever he's like people at home would know, you know, if he could say out here, this kind of energy gets to my base. I got home is the same way. What give us your insights on Shaheen where what type of position do you feel like he's in this episode? Cause I feel like we didn't really get to see much of him. What does
[00:53:19] Shaheen have an end game? Yeah. Shaheen situation I think is interesting because he doesn't have his like, he's in a pretty similar situation to Kyle. I feel like except Shaheen doesn't have as many connections on the other side, just partly by nature. Like, you know, Kyle has his original orange people with Mitch and with Camilla. Shaheen doesn't really have anybody else. But I've been a proponent of the fact that I feel like Shaheen is a
[00:53:49] mover and a shaker. Like he is a strategic guy. I feel like he is willing to make a move when he needs to. But the problem is right now is like he's attached with Joe and Eva. And he doesn't really have a lot of agency with people on the other side. So I would reckon that Shaheen knows that he probably doesn't want to go to the end with Joe and Eva. But at the same time, it's like, how is Shaheen supposed to take that swing? It's kind of where I'm at. Like, I think Shaheen knows, like, in his mind
[00:54:18] knows he's got to do something. But at the same time, it's like, if I were him, I'd be like, what is my move? Like, I'm not going to abandon my two closest allies necessarily to just go get, like, jump on board with Camilla and Mary because they don't have as much of a working relationship. So, and we've seen, I mean, Shaheen and Camilla, maybe, like, we've seen Shaheen planting seeds. They just aren't as strong as, I feel like Shaheen and Kyle, very similar situation, but Kyle just has the stronger relationships and has a little bit more agency. But I feel like Shaheen's mind is
[00:54:47] in the same place. But at this point, I do think it could be hard for him to win because it's like, if he goes down with Joe and Eva, he probably doesn't win. And if he rocks the boat and switches things up, well, now he's got to deal with Kyle and Camilla. And then I think he might not beat them either. So he's just kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Yeah. Last week's episode, I think, was really good for Shaheen because it was, a lot of it was from his point of view and he got to talk about how he was planting seeds. This week's episode did not feel as good for him.
[00:55:18] Maybe I'm just misreading it, but I still think there's a chance that Shaheen can beat Joe and Eva in the end because of the jury, at least the first three jurors, and they're being bitter. It's like annoyed at this whole strong alliance and David was kind of the face of it. But you're talking about David goes back now and is just mad at Joe because of this whole betrayal thing. He's frustrated with Joe and Eva. Even I think in some of his exit press, he was talking about how he
[00:55:47] felt like he was working with people who just didn't. He called him what? A big dum-dum or something in his exit press. Seriously. Don't quote me on that, but I think I read that in some tweet or on Reddit or something where he had said that. If he has that perspective, then he's carrying that energy back and rechanneling any of the animosity that they had towards him, towards that group of worthy, strong people.
[00:56:18] If Eva and Joe make it to the end, they're going to have to cut ties with all these other people. They have to be the bad guy. You may face a bitter jury with this group. I don't know. We'll see. Even Mary felt betrayed by Joe and Eva because she thought she was in that group. All of a sudden, they swipe David's knees out from underneath them. Eva told her,
[00:56:47] essentially, I'm like, we'll put it on him just to preserve you for another day. Another couple of days, but I can't guarantee that I won't not write your name. I won't be doing that. Eva, I'm down the street. My car ran out of gas. Can I use that gas that Star gave you?
[00:57:17] She's like, no. But also, the same thing with Mary and Joe. Joe was trying to work. Mary was like, what are you doing? I don't think their jury standing is looking super great at the moment. Eva plays it so black and white that if you're not with her. She makes that clear. She's sending you the jury, but you've never even gotten an inkling that she wants to work with you. Why would you really
[00:57:47] want to vote? Eva is a great ally. You want to work with an Eva, but if you're not with an Eva, then it's like, all right, well, I guess yeah. What would it take for Joe and everyone's opinion to win the game? What would Joe? Yeah. Keep doing what he's doing. I think despite a bitter jury, I think Joe is
[00:58:16] almost making an offer. That was his third individual immunity. I think he's almost making an offer people can't refuse. And I think David might even have enough time to cool off a little bit over there. Yeah. I think Joe, if he's sitting at that end, there could be a bitter juror or two, but I think he is making an offer people can't refuse. Especially if he has it his way, he probably ends up there with Eva and Shaheen. And I don't know if the jurors would
[00:58:46] prefer one of those options much more. Maybe Shaheen, but Shaheen, like I said,, hasn't developed the greatest relationships necessarily with the rest of the jury. From what we've seen, he's been pretty in with that crew. And I'm not saying that's Shaheen's ideal final three either, but Joe in that group definitely looks like the ringleader and kind of the right, well at least Joe was manning the shit a little bit. And was at least straightforward about it. If they do get
[00:59:15] to the end, unless Shaheen makes something happen, makes it very clear, it would have seemed like Shaheen went along with what Joe was the poster child for. And so even then it'd be hard to give it to someone who was a lesser version of the thing that you find annoying. If it follows that path. Agreed. I know people compare this season a lot to Ghost Island. I'm not sure if that's two people or is it just me? I think it's a, I was thinking a similar thing. Like I think there are definitely parallels.
[00:59:46] So I guess my next question is with only four or three episodes left, is there any, is there any gas in this season's tank to actually be better than a Ghost Island or is it? Put your glasses on. Look, I will say, I will say, watching a season like this is less fun, but this is the kind of season you want to be on to run. You want your game to go
[01:00:16] this way. It's boring as a viewer, but give me my check. Season 46 was all over the place. Who knew who was voting for who or why? It was not fun to play on. It was not fun because next thing I know, my two close allies want to vote each other out. It was weird, but this one is the kind you want to play on. You can't be like, these players are terrible. This season is boring. Nah, this
[01:00:45] season is kind of boring because they're taking care of what they need to take care of and that is a testament to them playing well. I think something needs to happen next week. If they can't make it happen next week, even after next week, if people are open to making moves, will Eva and Joe still have an idle and a safety without power? It's going to be a little bit too late. I think it's going to rest in Kyle's hands next week. I'm hoping he's willing to
[01:01:15] make a move. At least, again, Eva and Joe might have too much for the move to work. If you flush some things out, maybe Eva goes at five and Joe loses and fires. Something else opens up. If Joe does go, I think the game is wide open. Then it's like, an Eva versus a Kyle versus a Camilla at the end. Who wins
[01:01:45] that? At least it would be interesting final three. The post merge has definitely been a little bit of a struggle. So, yeah. Well, I mean, I guess, well, I have to get open. I got a couple things. Hey, I've been looking at my notes the whole time. Okay. Was that Chad GPT? Hunter!
[01:02:17] You know what? I know we're cool, Hunter. One, shout out to Mary saying the revolution will be televised. Okay. That was fun. In Star thinking that her quote was, I have to convince Mitch to be part of the revolution. Star, you ain't convincing Mitch to be part of no revolution. I'm going to give you that one. Also, shout out to Star for her bars. And at the end, I think this part
[01:02:46] was really funny and when we have been around Mitch, since we met him, Bryce, long ago, when he starts stuttering, we are patient and we listen to him. And we haven't joked about his stutter or anything like that. And in his presence, it's almost like we don't talk about it much. We just let Mitch be Mitch. You don't let us know. Right. But Star in Tribal,
[01:03:14] Mitch comes up to me and says, you need to play your shot in the dark. And you know what? Respectfully to Mitch, he didn't stutter. When she said that, I was like, that's, that's a lesson. It got them all laughing. It's like, this shows her personality like when she was on the island with him and the way she said it, I just thought it was so funny and it was, and yeah, this is a part of Mitch, but for Mitch to
[01:03:44] be able to laugh at himself regarding that, I thought that was cute and fun and funny. That's all. Question, well, I love that moment too. Question, something we didn't talk about, should Star have played her shot in the dark? Well, that's a question I got for you, Jack, or Hunter, numbers-wise, even though you're going to say it doesn't really matter, but at this point, because what, it's a one in five shot? One in six. One in it being eight of
[01:04:14] them left, is the quantity of the gratitude higher at this point, or it doesn't matter? Well, you got to rephrase that question. Hunter, okay, so you won't, we've talked about this before, like, but I know what you're asking. Explain it to Hunter, because he's long. Hunter, I see you look a little, it lost me at the quantity part. So,
[01:04:44] obviously, the odds of being safe are the same, but of course, when there's fewer people left in the game, like, maybe the value of being safe is more important, although if you know you're the target, it's always going to be the same, but also, when the numbers get lower, your vote also matters more, so losing your vote, I would say it kind of is an equal trade-off throughout the whole thing. Like, if you have 13 people, like, yeah, you might not be the target, but your vote might not be that important. Now, in this instance,
[01:05:15] I think it's fine that Star voted because if she knows that she and Mary are the targets, and that the vote is probably going to be split, and that Mary doesn't have a shot in the dark to play, so that Mary will be voting, and then Star plays her shot in the dark, and it misses, then it's going to be, you know, assuming maybe everybody voted evenly, it would be four Mary four Star, but if Star plays her shot in the dark, it misses, now it's four Star three Mary, and Star goes home.
[01:05:45] Obviously, if Star knows she's the ultimate target on a re-vote, though, then she should just play it, but maybe there's a world where someone lost a vote, or someone or Mary does something, or maybe the votes are skewed towards Mary, I think it's worth in a split to have her, because if Star plays it, like say it was going to be four to four, and they were going to vote out Mary on the re-vote, but then Star plays her shot in the dark, misses it,
[01:06:15] now it's four Star three Mary, in that instance she should have just voted, so I don't think it was cut and dry either way. Yeah, the hindsight always makes it way easier, even looking back whenever I went out, my last interview with the producer was I'm going to play my shot in the dark, and if it misses I'm going to play my idol, that was going into tribal, that was my plan, but then when you're sitting there and listening, you're like if I throw my vote over there, I may get through without
[01:06:44] even having to use my shot in the dark or my idol, it was wrong, and of course you look like I should have done all this and this and this, obviously, and you lay awake at night thinking about it, but that may have been Star's thinking maybe they are going to throw more at Mary, maybe it is going to be even, I want to make sure that I have a chance to get it, but you wish you would have seen it, but again, it's such a small chance, it's such a small one in six, that's the same chance that Eva had to get the second idol,
[01:07:14] that happened in one third, but did they get a new slow motion camera? The cinematography was pretty crazy. Because that thing went, it just went on, like the slow motion went for a while. CGI, they just added that one bug. They were like, sure, we do use the sanctuary every reward, but we do have this new slow motion camera. Because we have been using the
[01:07:43] sanctuary. Like that bee was on screen so long, I thought he was going to have a confessional. Bryce, give me a bug confessional. The bee lasted longer on Survivor than I did. Okay? It did better in the challenge than I did. Normally, I have issues with the chickens, but now it's the damn bee.
[01:08:13] Bryce, if you were the bee, what would your confessional be? I'm right here. I want to be hey, Joe. Let me stick you right here. But listen, before we wrap this up, Hunter, I actually have a very important question for you. We can close this podcast out for all the listeners that are listening and watching.
[01:08:43] Is French Camp happening this summer? Okay, this isn't official yet. Okay, so French Camp happening. French Camp is a town. Let's just clarify that. It will be here, I hope. I hope it's here, otherwise something went wrong. I do a Survivor event with my students, but listen, I give $1,000 to come and compete. They didn't take me up on it this year. They weren't interested. So it's
[01:09:13] crazy. It's crazy, right? Like if y'all saw the scale of the stuff I do, you'd be like, why would they not want to? But I tried to do this thing where I invited kids from other schools. My kids got scared. They were like, we don't want to do this. And so it was weird. I was like, what? Y'all don't want to defend your so what I'm doing instead is I'm actually trying to make it happen. Not official is inviting adults to
[01:09:42] come do basically starts in the evening one night goes straight through the night, no sleeping to the end of the next day. And I'm probably going to offer like a $2,000 reward for that. It's going to be like Squid Games meet Survivor event going on in the summer. And so the next question was going to ask is there room for three baby boys to attend French camp this summer? Yes. Yes. Okay. Have y'all seen Squid Games? Yeah. Or you
[01:10:12] get the idea, the premise Beast Games or any of those things. It's going to be kind of a mix of that. Everyone will have a jersey with a number on it. If it all gets approved, I've get it approved first. I've already been talking to some different people that were on Survivor on different shows that I would love to have them come and hang out and be a part of it. It would just be fun and try to make a little bit more. I've got to drive two hours to get to an airport. Wow.
[01:10:42] That's usually the thing that kills the vibe. We'll zoom in. Can we do it for Zoom and Street Yard Hunter? You're flying to Memphis and I'll let Q drive you down. Actually, that would be great so I could drive because Q doesn't think I drive. I know. Yeah, but I'll try to get all that official and let y'all know what it's looking like. I think it'll be a good time.
[01:11:12] Okay, last question before we go. Was it the football team? Oh, no. Yeah, the football team. I've been taking L's left and right since Survivor. I can't expose my kids. We love them. Yeah. Go French. Go FCs. Panthers. We're looking to double up 100%. We're going to the playoffs. We're going to the playoffs.
[01:11:42] We made the playoffs. Let's go. This is our year. This is our year. We rested so much last season. We're ready to go. They're one of the top four teams in their division. Top four in our district already. You can't beat that. It's amazing having one of the Panthers coach here, having Jack Atkins. We even had Wendell asking questions this episode. I mean, it can't get much better than that. We will. Bryce and Wynn will be in D.C.
