The game is moving FAST as Brice and Jack are back this week with special guest Josiah Borden from The Amazing Race 37 to break down Survivor 50 Episode 12. As paranoia takes over camp and alliances continue shifting by the minute, old decisions start catching up to certain players while others find themselves gaining momentum at exactly the right time. [00:04:09] So keep a lookout for the details with Josiah from Amazing Race Season 37. Jack, myself, and Josiah are getting into all things Survivor Season 50 Episode 12. I am currently in double week mourning. So please send your condolences my way. I shouldn't even say double. I should say triple. It's not a triple week.
[00:04:38] It's a double week, but a triple homicide. Josiah and Jack and myself get into the double elimination. Who's best in position to win the season? And what things need to happen for everyone that's left to win? Talking about the Riz God and his idol? This and so much more.
[00:05:05] So listen, let's get into this week's Survivor News.
[00:05:37] It's that picture next week. It's my inspiration, man. Oh no. And we're back again. Funeral after funeral. I don't know how much more I can take of this. Last week it was Ozzy. Then it's Rick Devins.
[00:06:04] Oh, and this week it was Sari. Monique. Monica. Brandi. Ashanti. Kelly Rowland-Fields. But oh, oh, oh, oh. Serene, Serene, Serene, Serene. Pull it together, Bryce. Okay, but listen, y'all. We're back this week with your Survivor News covering Survivor Season 50. We're here with the man, the legend himself, Jack Atkins. How are you feeling today?
[00:06:35] I'm also in mourning, Bryce. I'm also, last night was a great time at the Bryson Wynn. Until it wasn't because we lost two of the greats. So yeah, excited to be able to chat with you guys about it. Yeah, and although we are in mourning, we're in shiva. We are, okay, they're coming to the house right now. We still have a need to celebrate.
[00:07:04] It's still a celebration of life. I'm super excited to welcome his first time on the Purple Pants Podcast Survivor News. You might know him from Amazing Race Season 37. You might know him as Bella's dad. You might know him as my soon-to-be cousin-in-law. We have Josiah from Season 37 of Amazing Race. Welcome back, Josiah. Bryce, I'm absolutely honored to be here. I love you. You know I love you, Jack. I mean, I'm inspired by you every day in the OR.
[00:07:34] That's why your poster's right here by my side. All right? I'm a big Floors Lava fan. And some people put inspirational posters up in their break room, but I use this every single day, Jack. It gets me out for emergencies. It's inspiring. Thank you. I mean, we did like historically bad, though. So I'm like... Here you are succeeding, Jack. I don't know what's more inspirational than that, you know? Fair enough.
[00:08:03] So, Josiah, you know every week I introduce Jack. Okay? He might be known from Jack Atkins, The Circle. He might be casting for The Traitor. He might be Christine's son. But in my heart, his biggest accolade to date is The Floor is Lava. I love it. I printed that out today in color. It's funny because I've recently been giving Bryce shit about that. It's like every time he's been introduced to me, he's like, you may know from The Floor is Lava. Yeah, yeah.
[00:08:32] Last night, someone at the Bryce and Wine was like, you did Floor is Lava, right? It had to be the podcast. It had to be the podcast. I don't know, man. But shout out to The Floor is Lava, man. My favorite evening. Well, we are here to... This is an episode I don't really want to participate in. But before we even get into that, yesterday I was in Chicago.
[00:09:01] Jack was holding it down in L.A. Jack, how was L.A.? It looked amazing. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. I mean, we had a lot of reality stars in the building. And a lot of great fans in the building. We had... Do you all hear that? Yeah, there's some lawn mowing. Okay, cool. And we had Tiff in the building. So, I mean, despite all of the downs of last night's episode,
[00:09:29] some of the biggest highs involved our girl Tiffany. So, being able to watch with her and celebrate was a great time. So, how was Chicago? Chicago was dope. A lot of the posse was there. They were asking a lot of questions. Where was Jack? A lot of the posse member was asking where was... But listen, it was great. We held it down. Chicago always shows so much love.
[00:09:59] And again, Wendell and I are still on the road to 50. It might be one stop left. But we are still on it next week. We will be in New York for our karaoke party on the 19th. And all things lead to the 20th in New York. Also, Gabe and friends are going to be in Baltimore. So, it's still a chance for you to participate in this epic season of Survivor and Wendell and I's 10th tour ever.
[00:10:27] So, don't miss out. Click the link in the bio and we'll see you next week. I don't know where to begin. Well, I mean, I guess, Josiah, we haven't gotten a chance. I have so many places to begin. I have so many. I'm so glad to be here. This is as tragic as it is. First of all, epic season. 50 lived up to the hype, right? Like, there was a lot of hype around 50. When you get that much hype, you get nervous. My opinion, which is the only right opinion, 50 lived up to the hype, right? Like, it's been incredible.
[00:10:56] First of all, Jack, you called this happening like two episodes ago after the Beast, Mr. Beast. You're like, I could see Rizzo turning on Sarit. You said that. And the dude, you called it, right? Props to you. Like, he called it. It happened. There's a lot to go into this. I don't know what hot takes you want right now. But, like, first of all, like, Rizzo is solidifying himself as one of the greats, right? I feel like this is a torch being passed from Sarit to Rizzo.
[00:11:25] I can go off for a while, right? Like, anyone, I feel like there's some hate going around Rizzo with people who play and they're haters. They're haters, right? The kid is great. I think he deserves a lot of credit, a lot of flowers. He's young. But, like, emotional quotient. This is why, Bryce, you don't know I say this, but I'm going to say it right now. Like, the celebrity traders, I think you should be on it. And the reason is because emotional quotient is such a huge thing, right? Like, so there's an IQ, right? There are people. I work with some people who have a great IQ, right?
[00:11:55] And then there are people who have a great EQ, an emotional quotient where you can read people. You read the room. I think Rizzo's EQ is the best part of his game. Well, clearly, the guy sucks at challenges and puzzles, right? But he makes it far every damn time, right? Because his emotional quotient is doing so great. So I feel like, here, ding the thing or whatever, Rizzo is one of the greats and one of the future players. I'll, like, put him on Mount Rushmore of the future players of the new generation. That's how I'm starting. That's a hot take, Josiah. I'm here for it.
[00:12:25] So you know how, do you ever feel like in your family where it's like, in the house, I could talk about you, but you can't talk about me. You can't talk about my family outside the house, right? I feel like that with Rizzo because I got to cuss Rizzo out real quick. Because listen, it's two episodes in a row, Riz God. You got my man and now you got the queen. And so while we're inside the house, F you.
[00:12:55] Who do you think you are? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Who do you think you are? Get his ass, Bryce. Get his ass. Listen, because Rizzo, when I see you, I'm going to pop you. On sight. Yeah. On sight. But also, also, because I don't want no smoke with the Liz God. I don't want no, that's his girlfriend. And the Liz God got hands. And so that was inside the house for Riz God. Outside of the house.
[00:13:26] Chef's kiss. You were working with two legends. Okay? You was going far. And there also is a lot of negative discourse on Riz God right now online. Where these random celebrities is putting up their middle fingers, talking trash. And everyone's like, oh, he's not doing anything. Oh, he's da, da, da. Baby, he just made it to the final episode of season 50. What are you doing? Keyboard warrior? I think they're trash talking to Riz God. It's, it's, I just, you know what I mean?
[00:13:54] Is Billy Allish almost getting involved again? I'm just starting to throw it out around me. Brad Pitt. Like, I'm just kidding. Billy Allish doesn't throw anything around. Billy Allish has disappeared completely from the survivor community. I'm sorry, Billy Allish. Of course, it's just snuffed. But first of all, I don't want no beef with Liz God or Riz God. No God. But come on. Like, I really feel like that. Like, when I see some of the people talking, especially people who play, like, there's, there's a lot of, of ego. And I'm going to go into this too.
[00:14:22] I think ego plays a big role in this game this season, right? That's why I called it. You could ask my wife, Bryce, when you see her, ask her. I called this. I said, see the Sari Aubrey. Like, I said that third episode. You know why? Because they, they killed their own egos. That's why Seree's so damn good. Seree's so fucking good because she does not, even though she is one of the greats, her ego is constantly in check, right? She lets other people think they have the ideas. They're making those. Aubrey, no ego, right?
[00:14:50] And I think this season, the person who wins is not a boisterous player. They're a person who, like, makes themselves be a low threat until the end. And I'm still, I'm still living by, I still got a chance here with Aubrey because I called those first two. And like, that's what I think is happening. Now, now with that ego, people see Rizzo, this new kid on the block who, who personally, I don't think, unless he's next to Jonathan and Joe, I don't think he's going to win the game because for some reason there's like some kind of deal that everybody made that if you're young, you can't win a million dollars.
[00:15:20] I don't know why it's a Hatter-Zander Hastings. I hold that personally to this day. He deserved to win it that day. Flip that too, right? A hundred percent. But for some reason, if you're 18, 19, you're not going to win a million dollars. That's how it goes. But that, that kid is playing a great game. And there's a lot of ego being like, no, he's not that good. He's not that good. But it's on camera. You know, you can't sit, you can't sit, you can't sit. We can watch. I have eyes and ears that they work fairly well. I'm watching the kid be great. So that's, that's my feeling. Liz God, don't beat the shit out of me.
[00:15:49] Riz God, you, you, you can't do challenges. So I'm not too worried about you beating the shit out of me, but your, but your girlfriend can boss. Liz God can. And so again, I'm mad at the Riz God, but also at the same time, I respect game. And it's like, listen, you're working with these two amazing people. And if you, why would you want to go to the end with them? And if you have the opportunity to take them out, I see it. And so while I am in mourning and again, the Riz God will get popped. I see it. On sight. On sight.
[00:16:19] I see. I, I, I respect it. What's your thoughts, Jack? Oh man. Where did it even begin? Um, I'm definitely, I mean, as far as the Riz God goes, he's playing a great game. Like he, he was in kind of everywhere and he's very self-aware about his, how people's perception of him and how he needs to make these moves at the end to change that. I do agree though. I, you know, I, I think even if he gets to the end, it can be a little tricky just because
[00:16:49] of him coming off 49. I think he came from a place of people not knowing him. And he knew he kind of had to play up this super fan component. And I don't know if a lot of the, the older players on the jury will necessarily respect that if he's in a final three. Um, but he is playing a great game with the hand he's been dealt. And I think he has solidified himself as like a modern day survivor legend. Uh, and definitely if he goes back on another season, now people seeing both of 49 and 50, he's going to be a threat. And then that's going to put him in a position.
[00:17:18] Like if he gets to the end, he's going to have a lot of respect. This episode is brought to you by Redfin. Is it crazy to say I'm like getting, I'm starting to be a little bit over Survivor 50. Like, obviously I'm excited. Oh, hot. Take Dean the Bell. We got one episode left. I'm excited for the finale. But last night we lost, you know, two legends. We're kind of here at the end with a hodgepodge of players. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm rooting hard for my girl, Tith.
[00:19:46] Yeah, I'm with you. But I think if you've said up top at this season that this would be the final five, it's not the most riveting final five. And my other gripe is like. I look back on the season and think about like my favorite episodes and the best moments. They were all. Kind of like in those single tribal episodes, you know what I mean? And now I still count the coach and Chrissy vote out was a double vote out, but it was one tribe.
[00:20:15] And I thought that was a great episode. I just think the nature of this season, it just feels so sped up. And it's not. There hasn't been time to allow things to breathe. And I think you look back on this season and you think about like signature moments that like define a season. I mean, I think we'll look back and we're going to think about like the Mr. Beast coin, which was a great episode. But like, is that to us like a great season of Survivor? Not necessarily. I'm hoping the finale can change my mind on some things. And don't get me wrong.
[00:20:45] It's like it's been a good season, but it hasn't been like a great season in my book. And I think last night just sort of encapsulated that where we lose two greats. But at the same time, the episode felt a little bit like sped up. We have this double vote out, which I understand them doing, because a lot of times when the when the votes pretty cut and dry, they sometimes will put those back to back to like accelerate things a little bit, because you don't want to watch an hour and a half of them be like, OK, it's Rick. And then another hour and a half of them be like, OK, it's three.
[00:21:16] But I don't know. I don't know. I mean, I'm rooting hard for Tiff. And if Tiff can pull it out, I think it's going to be an epic ending. But outside of that, there's not a lot of other people. You know, I like Brazil, but I think his odds are he's got kind of a long shot just in the terms of pitching to this jury. And so other than that, I'm not I'm not too I'm not going to be too thrilled about a Joe or Jonathan or Aubrey. I'll say that. Well, I will say I'm with you.
[00:21:45] Looking back, if this would I would have saw as a final five, I don't know. But I still have some hope with our girl Tiffany and with our girl Aubrey. And I keep going back to Aubrey's first two seasons like and I love Michelle Fitzgerald. But I loved Aubrey that season. And I felt like Aubrey should have won. But whoa. But on the record, whoa. But I'm just first of all, a winner is a winner.
[00:22:15] Are pods going to get canceled? Listen, a winner. Me writing a review right now. I thought Dominic Abate should have won winners at war. I'm just saying, right? Winners at war. I mean, no. Go silent. I loved Michelle and I thought it was deserving. But watching the show, like I really I saw Aubrey's art. Right. And so I feel like she's always just been this underdog. And so I got love for Aubrey. And of course, I have love for Tiff.
[00:22:44] I have love for the Riz. But again, like you said, it's an uphill battle. And Joe, I'm just not sure what his pitch would be as to actually what he's done. And then Jonathan is just, you know, Jonathan. And it even takes me back to earlier in the episode when they get back. And Jonathan's like, that was my move. I got Mr. Ozzy out. That was all me. I saw his name and I said, we got to get him out.
[00:23:12] And I love how Aubrey's like, well, that's interesting. Because all the information came to me and I blew ish up. And so again, it makes me think like, say, if Jonathan is at the end, is that the type of final speech Jonathan is going to be giving? Like where it's like, what moves did you really kind of do? And it's like, yeah, I really determined what happened. Yeah. You had two votes and you sat in both the tribals. You would have a second. Yeah.
[00:23:42] I do think Jonathan's played like a sneaky, very good game, but I do agree that I struggle to see him at a final travel council, like really, really articulating in the way that this jury is going to want to hear. Not even to say that Jonathan's not like a well-spoken guy, but more so just like, like you said with this episode, I think he's going to take too much credit for things that were not fully him. And maybe just not understand exactly what the jury is looking.
[00:24:08] I mean, look, he'll probably get like a coach, a coach vote and a Chrissy vote and a Stephanie vote. Surprise, surprise. Right. Would go elsewhere. Cy, what do you think about Jonathan? Surprise, surprise. Surprise, surprise. So what I think about Jonathan and Joe both being there. First of all, first of all, with Joe, Joe is a great firefighter. If my house is on fire, please, for love of God, let Joe be there.
[00:24:36] Joe on Survivor isn't playing the game. Like they're playing this, this, it's outwit. Outplay, outlast. There's no wit going on here. It's like, we're going to vote for this person. And that's, there's no twist. There's no witty, no cunningest. I think Jonathan and Joe are where they are because people like Cere brought them there. Like the two zombies that were attached to Michonne in, what's the, the, the zombie show. Do you know what I'm talking about? With Rick.
[00:25:06] The Walking Dead? Yes. Yes. Remember, remember Michonne was her name, right? I didn't watch that show. Oh my God. So there's two zombies she carries with her that hides her scent. And, but they're, they're, they're not like super powerful. She carries her with them to hide her scent. And that's, and they're predictable, right? That's what Joe and Jonathan remind me of. They're playing, they're great. Listen, when I watched Jonathan's season, when he was in the ocean and was the only person able to do that challenge by himself, I was like, that's incredible. There's no getting around it, right?
[00:25:35] Setting a world record with a hundred pounds on your back. That's incredible. Great challenge beasts, both of them. But the game they're playing is predictable. So the reason you're like, ah man, this isn't a great final five is because great people chose to take them to the final five, right? I think there's a differentiation between Jonathan and Joe in terms of the game. Like I agree there's similar vibe, but Jonathan is a, is a much stronger player than Joe in my opinion. Strategically you're saying. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:26:04] I think they have a very similar predictability for people. You don't want Rick Devins. You definitely don't want Emily flipping, right? Because they are not easily manipulated. Right. And whereas you know what's going to happen with Joe and Jonathan. And I'd rather have somebody there who I can predict. Right. And again, in personal life, like outside of the game, that's a great characteristic to have. Right. That's what you say is what you say. Your word is your word. But like if we're playing soccer and someone's like, I'm not going to steal the ball because I don't like stealing.
[00:26:34] I'm like, then don't be on my damn team. I'm not playing this game with you. Right. Like we're going to steal the ball. So that's, that's what's happening in this game. And I think that's, that's why people want them around so much because they're predictable. And I, and I think that's sort of reflective of the gripe that I expressed of like, it feels a little bit rushed because when you have, when you have a tribal happening every day and also you have these like double eliminations and a twist almost every episode, it sort of incentivizes players to be a little bit safer because.
[00:27:04] You know, in old school seasons, you'd have three days between the next tribal and you'd kind of know what the tribal is going to be, what it usually is. And that allows you to be like, all right, let me start hatching a plan. I'll have a few days to start cooking this plan up and there's not going to be a wrench thrown in my plan. Now you have like, you get back from tribal, you have a challenge the next morning. When are you going to cook up this plan? You got your bid, you get some momentum on the plan.
[00:27:32] It's like, oh, we're actually going to split you guys into eight separate tribes. You have to go like, hang out with Mr. Beast. But now these players like, don't know what's coming. So it disincentivizes them to play like risky games in which I think naturally leads to, okay, what's the safe option that's just going to help me survive? It's going to be picking off these bigger targets, which is just like what we don't want to see.
[00:27:57] And then you get to this point now where it basically feels like, hey, look, I think Aubrey's kind of come into her own to some extent. But I think her coming into her own is more or less her stumbling through a lot of the game, then being smart and aware enough to be like, okay, I'm in sort of a bottom position. Let me rally these other bottoms. Bryce, you might have been there. Wait a minute.
[00:28:26] We heard you, Jack. We get it. So obviously she grabs the Jones. Where do you need me to go, Jack? She grabs Joe. She grabs Jonathan. And it's sort of all these players are smart enough to, it's kind of cut and dry to be like, okay, we're probably the three, three of the four players with like the least win equity here. Let's just stick together. And then, okay, now it's the people that at the merge probably had the least win equity or the smallest threats.
[00:28:55] And now obviously they're just going to stick together, potentially go to the end. And then it's like what? The final three is like Aubrey, Joe, and Jonathan, just because everybody else was a bigger threat than them. Right. That's the most fun thing. And I think that's by and large a big byproduct of this new 26-day game. And look, I tip my hat to them bringing 24 players out. But I think when you do that, you still have to give the game time to breathe. And so, I don't know. I think there's...
[00:29:25] My rebuttal to that is, right, because I got a different take. I hear your opinion. But I feel a little differently. I think from the beginning when we started this season, we were looking at the people. And after the second episode, I was saying it is going to be old school players. And then there's going to be like the new school, new era type of players. Right. And so, I think we see that very clearly what we have left. Like Joe, Jonathan, very old school players.
[00:29:51] We have Tiffany, Aubrey, and Rizzo, very new school-esque. And so, I think where I disagree with you and what I love about this season is that you're right. Like it is easy to be safe, right? When you don't know what's coming. But that's what I enjoy the most in the sense that it's season 50.
[00:30:19] And I'm going to talk Christian Hubecki for a little bit, right? I feel like his Achilles heel was that, don't shoot the messenger. But I'm just saying, I loved him. But maybe he was doing too much, right? In the sense of like, you are being so manipulative. You are being so smart. And it does put a target on your back.
[00:30:39] And I think like the way to maneuver in this new era or new era in season 50, when you have these old school voting blocks and you have this new school era, you kind of have to waver back and forth. And so, I think we have these blocks of new era, just new era. Then we have this old school area, like old school. And then it collides. And then what do you have left?
[00:31:07] And so, like, I think that that's where you're seeing is because just like we are hating how predictable some of the old school players are, you have to acknowledge that some of the new school players is new school. And so, that's why I kind of enjoy a little Aubrey, a little tiff, a little, you know, people who have like, all right, I got to move and shake.
[00:31:29] Well, Bryce, I totally agree that within the parameters of this season 50 game, that that is absolutely like the ideal strategy. And you see people like an Aubrey and a Tiffany, who I think are doing a good, and even a Jonathan, who have done a good job of kind of balancing both those like old school styles, but also keeping up with the new school game.
[00:31:49] But I think that also you sort of encapsulated my issue is that if the best gameplay is to sort of just like keep your head down and lay low, that's not good TV. Right. And so, we're creating this precedent where now on the biggest season, maybe the biggest season ever, the ideal strategy is just to like keep your head down a little bit and play it a little bit safer, which of course is good strategy.
[00:32:19] So, I don't have any issue with any of the players for doing that. Obviously, that's that's the best gameplay you could have here. But that's why I think something is a little bit off about the product of this season. And thank God for Rick Devins for not doing that. And he made it more than he should. Like, then he usually, you know, he got lucky in a few senses in the fact that he lasted. And thank God he did, because he actually, you know, played hard and played flashy, which is not always the best gameplay. But it's like good TV.
[00:32:47] And I think we as viewers should be, I mean, and again, this is not any direct critique of any of the players. It's more of the structure of what the show has become of like this sort of gameplay being like kind of by and large, the best sort of gameplay. But I think it leads to maybe the least entertaining TV. And I wish some things were different, I guess, to make it so that wasn't the case.
[00:33:15] Yeah, I think I think that what's happened, I want to go to Tiff and Sari and why they're playing such a good game. Like the things that they do is what I think a good player does. Right. A great player does is that and Rizzo does it to Rizzo does it great, too. They plant a seed without telling people what to do. Right. Sari is the best. Let's just focus on Sari for a little bit. But Tiff and Sari did this a lot this episode where they don't tell you, I want you to do this.
[00:33:44] Sari never does that. It's that's why she's masterful. And I'm dressed in scrubs right now. I'm obviously I just came from the operating room or Sari is an operating room manager. Right. And I think that that to talk to speak to her personal life, maybe her work life. You work with people. She she like works traffic for surgeons, people who make minimum wage to people who are making over a million dollars a year. Right. You have to be able to talk to people who some people like some people think they are God.
[00:34:13] Right. Some surgeons, it's like a joke. And some surgeons think they're God. Right. And she has to get them to do what she wants to do on a daily basis. Right. In the island. She applies that all the time. She says things like, well, what do you think is going to happen if we do that when she doesn't want them to get out Aussie? Right. That's what's masterful. And when I'm saying like you have to swallow your pride a little bit and not see Christian Ubiquiti, one of my favorite players ever. Very boisterous. Like he's playing like he's telling people what to do. You know, he's making his plans more obvious than Sari.
[00:34:42] The reason Sari is masterful and Tiff what they were doing and Rizzo sometimes if they plant a seed there. And so so instead of saying, I don't want to get Aussie out. She says, what do you think happens if Aussie gets out? And then they're like, I think they're going to. She did it with Jonathan this episode. Yeah. Well, she did it with Rizzo when they were saying it's Tiffany. And then she was like, well, what if Tiffany doesn't win? Yes. Who are y'all going to go after? Exactly. Exactly. Like what's your thought process there? Yeah. And see. And oh, it was with Aubrey. Right. Somebody did it with Jonathan and Aubrey.
[00:35:12] Was this Sari? He told Jonathan. She told Jonathan that Aubrey was the reason that she knew about the Tiffany vote. When he got out, he was Rizzo. Genius. Right. And now Rizzo and Rizzo was like masterclass because, yeah, she plants these little seeds and she put Rizzo in a corner. Like, what are you going to do? Tell him that I said it. And so Rizzo stopped being like, don't worry about it. It's not a big deal. She does these small things that I think is what wins the game.
[00:35:36] And I think ultimately, again, the reason that we don't have these big flashy players right now is because I think, I think at least that is season 50. There she is. Mother Sari up on the screen. I think it's season 50 where everybody is like, like, I know the players that are good at this game and I don't want them sitting beside me. Whereas in a new season, I would hope, right? I would hope that people are trying to make a name, make moves, play the game aggressively. People don't actually know you.
[00:36:05] So Sari shouldn't have been there after day one. If I walked on a beach, if I walk on any beach and I see Sari, I'm like, get her on her boat, get the fuck out of here. Cause I don't know what's going to happen. She's so good, right? She shouldn't be there. She should not have been there. So I'm just shocked that she was there. That's, that's masterful in itself that she made it this long. And she made it this far. Yeah. No, she absolutely ran this season. Like, I think even whoever, I think whoever even ends up winning, I'm still going to look back and be like, Sari ran the show here.
[00:36:36] I saw someone, I think like a comment online that I thought was really interesting that I want to throw out to you guys. Uh, you know, Devin's at seven, kind of a cut and dry foe. And we see Tiffany hatching this plan to maybe blindside Rizzo with his idol. And it seemed like Sari was the one who actually kind of put the kaput on that.
[00:36:55] But, you know, you look and obviously hindsight's 20, 20, but is there any merit to Sari blindsiding Rizzo more less about Rizzo, maybe betraying her and more about the fact that you keep Devin's in who could be a shield for her. Maybe you take out Devin's at six or even five and I can help Sari get to a five or a four. Is that, is that, but at the same time, Sari would essentially be cutting her closest ally. Is that like a worthwhile, of course we know in retrospect, but at seven, do you feel like, Hey, that could be.
[00:37:24] I think in retrospect, that's the best move she could have made for, for sure. What about hindsight aside in the moment? I mean, I mean, no, there's no, there's no, I don't think there's any way in the moment. I don't think there's any way in the moment that that made sense to her. Uh, and, and she's, she's brilliant, right? She is one of, if not the best to play this game. Uh, I don't think in that moment that made sense to her. Like she knew Rizzo's, I mean, not Rizzo that, uh, she knew that Devin's was going to go.
[00:37:51] Everyone was like, Devin's is going to go, which I wouldn't want to be sitting next to Devin's either. She doesn't want to be sitting next to Devin's. No one wants to be sitting next to Devin's at the end. So, yeah. And who else have we heard this season? Sari say, I can make a case for a million dollars for no one, but a Rick. Right. And so it's like, I think it's a reason why she's like, get out of Devin's. But I was with Tiffany. And again, it makes me think. And again, I love Riz God and no disrespect to the Riz God.
[00:38:19] Cause I think, again, I think he is a, he is on his way to being a legend status. Uh, but I thought it was so interesting and reflecting on the episode. Like, why is it that no one is even targeting Riz with this idol? Why does Tiffany have to scream it? And it makes me think of like the winner equity. Like, do they not see Riz?
[00:38:47] Like how we are seeing him via the edit? Because through the edit, I'm like, the Riz is cooking it. The Riz is on Fortnite killing it. He's in Grand Theft Auto stealing cars and robbing liquor stores. Right. And, but it just is so crazy to me where it's like with Ozzy, they were like, oh, we can't, this has to, we gotta flush it. And with Riz, it's like, it's never coming up. And I also just want to say in these last, this episode specifically,
[00:39:16] but even last week's episode, the amount of Tiffany screen time that we are getting, one, I love it, but not, and we're not just getting a random Tiffany screen time. My girl is talking that talk. She is like trying to flush idols. She's trying to push narratives. She is trying to get people to be like, you gotta pick a side. What's up? And the thing that pisses me off because like Tiffany is a personal friend of mine. Like you, Jack, like that's my girl.
[00:39:46] I know this just didn't come out of nowhere, Josiah, right? I know Tiffany did just wake up yesterday and was like, oh, let's go. I know Tiff has been out there moving and shaking this whole time. And I wish we could have seen a lot more of it. Oh, oh, oh, I think that everybody agrees with you. The Tiffany is, whatever Tiffany is on screen, it's not only entertaining, but it's giving a good perspective. Like it is what it is. I told Alyssa, because Alyssa, my wife is Alyssa.
[00:40:15] She loves Tiff. I mean, oh my God, you should have, she like was, we lay in bed like at fucking seven now because we have a little girl. So we're laying in bed at Tiffany Bella. She jumps out of bed. Like she loses her mind during the immunity challenge. Loves Tiffany. But I told Alyssa early on when Tiffany wasn't getting screen time. I was like, I really think this means later on in the season, she's going to last for a while. And I think that that's now getting pieced together, right? So I'm just glad she's getting the time now to like, she's laying it out, right? Absolutely. And she's playing a great game.
[00:40:45] I completely agree. I do think, I do think Bryce that, and I don't agree with it, but I think that people are keeping Rizzo because they don't see him winning and sitting next to him, including Jonathan and Joe. I think they both see Rizzo and they're like, and they might be right, right? Because again, there's some kind of unwritten rule that if you're like a teenager or however old you are, you can't win a million dollars. So I think that that is why. And they don't realize that he's so good at this game, right? I really, I don't know what will happen.
[00:41:21] Jonathan and Joe, I do not know what will happen. I have no idea what will happen because the whole cloth alliance might have to, what do they do? Now, now, now the cloth alliance is, is in shambles, right? It becomes a tether, a tear, right? Because who do they go for Jonathan and Joe? Do they split? Then Rizzo wins? I don't know, but we'll have to find out, I guess. But I think that's why. Are you cut from that cloth, Josiah? No, so first of all, am I cut from that cloth?
[00:41:50] If someone came up to me, if I was not on the island, if Chrissy came up to me and was like, we're cut from the same cloth, I'd be like, oh my God. I don't think I'm cut from that cloth. You know what I mean? I have a tough cloth. You know, I'm like a fiber that you put down at a barbecue and you kind of throw it away. Like, you know, I'm Philly trash, Bryce, is what I'm saying. So first of all, Bryce, don't get me at that because the first time you ever saw me in a photo, you know what you said about me? I know. Jack, do you want to know what you said about me? You might not get the reference. He said, no, Josiah's from Delco.
[00:42:20] And everyone from Philadelphia knows what the fuck that means, Bryce. And that's a very Philadelphia. So you thought I was cut from that cloth. And hey, you know what? That's a very specific thing, Jack. All right. It's from Delco. Delco. You got Delco. Delco. Delco. So that's it. So I don't fucking know, man. But no, I don't think they would let me sit with the cloth. All right. Yeah. You shocked, Bryce? Yeah. I remember. Keep score.
[00:42:46] I wonder how many other Caucasians Chrissy went up to. He was like, no, we're coming. There's something. And then Rizzo's like, what are you talking about? Yeah. I was like, what fucking cloth are we talking about? Rizzo's like, you're a super fan too? Yeah. She's like, we yeeted that thing. And she's like, no, we're not coming from the same cloth actually. Actually, no. You just say yeet. And then Rizzo had to go sit by himself. Bryce, we talked about this with Rizzo last season.
[00:43:14] And I think it applies even more this season where I think it's a combination of, I think, one, people are not that concerned about sitting next to him generally. You know, whether that's right or wrong. I think in the context of 50 where they haven't even seen his 49 game, it's sort of like, you know, he's like along for the fan experience or something.
[00:43:38] But the other thing about it is I think Rizzo is a great player and he manages his idol like incredibly well. And we've talked about this in the past. We also talked about this with like a Xander in 41 where if you're really good with sort of bluffing your idol, I think people naturally, instead of like trying to figure out a way around it, they sort of are like, okay, you know what? We're not like worried about this person anyways. Like, let's not address the idol.
[00:44:04] And I think they sort of subconsciously, like people tend to like almost collectively agree. And now it depends on the player. But we'll sort of collectively agree to like write you off so that they, because I think if we really get at bluffing the idol and people like, people don't want to feel like they're being foolish. So they're not going to sit there and be like, damn, Rizzo's like constantly outmaneuvering us. Instead of this, you know what? We're not worried about Rizzo anyway. And I feel like that happened in 49 where they're like, you know what? We don't even have to bother with Rizzo. We'll just give him a free pass.
[00:44:34] And I think because people have this sense that, oh, now Rizzo has like a free pass, which he doesn't because obviously he earned the idol. He's playing it well. I think maybe in their minds, it's like, oh, Rizzo has a free pass. Like, well, he didn't play as much. Like, he didn't have to play the same game I did. Like, I'm not going to vote for him. And I totally, if I were in Rizzo's shoes, I'd be doing the same thing. And I think it's a short-sighted by people on the jury. But I think it's just like human nature. I disagree. Just, I don't think, I think that is the case for 50 in the sense where it's like,
[00:45:04] he's not even bluffing his idol, right? It's not even really coming up, right? And so. Last couple of travels, he was like, I think I'm going to play. And he doesn't play. But, I mean, he said that to viewers. It's true. He wasn't as aggressive as like 49. Right. And so I will say in 49, though, although like people weren't paying it any mind, I do feel like he used it, right? Like, he definitely, that was a mechanism for him. And so whether, how they responded to it being like, oh, okay. But he still made that known.
[00:45:34] So I just feel like in 49, I definitely feel like it was a thing. I think in 50, they're just not even giving that idol any equity. And I think to Tiffany's point, when Tiffany brings it up, I feel like they're acknowledging it for Tiffany, right? Because clearly we see they're not really working with Tiffany. So I feel like when Tiffany does make it an issue, they're like, oh yeah, we got to do something. But no, I agree.
[00:46:02] I think it's sort of like, again, if they're not seeing Rizzo as a huge threat, then the attention and like effort required to then try to flush his idol, it's easier to just be like, well, I'm not that worried about Rizzo anyway. Like, why don't we get out of Rick Devins? You know what I mean? Yeah. Riddle me the, oh, go ahead, Josiah. Well, what I was going to say, what's even crazy about his idol is he didn't earn it, right? What's crazy about that idol is Genevieve was like, I think this is a guy who's going to get voted out with an idol in this pocket.
[00:46:30] Because it was a Billie Eilish boomerang idol. Because Billie Eilish is a huge, huge fan of Survivor, as we all know. So, so that's what's crazy is like this, this kid, I keep calling him kid. He's not, he's not a kid, but this, this guy. He's 16. He's. That's, that's wild. Yeah. So this, this guy is like going out there, has this idol that he gets because someone thinks he's going to get voted out with an idol in his pocket.
[00:46:56] And he continues to have an idol again, back to back seasons with it all the way to the end. I, I, they don't, they don't, they don't respect his game yet. That's why I keep saying, I mean, I think Rizzo's, I didn't realize you had the shirt on. Cause like you're on my phone wearing the Rizzo shirt by the Rizzo merch. The guy's playing a great game. And I think that he's getting some hate from players and stuff because he's young and playing a great game, but like legends deserve it.
[00:47:23] It would almost be if, if, if these, all these players had seen 49, obviously that's just a thing we'll never know, but like, would they have a great time? The fact of them just seeing him like bluff, like would he have then been a threat? Would it still sort of be a similar situation? I don't know. But Rizzo, we're jumping in. Curious to know what y'all thoughts, right? Cause where we're saying it appears that like to everyone left, he doesn't really have any winner equity.
[00:47:50] And like what you were saying with the idol, Jack, where it's like, once they know you have the idol, it's kind of like, oh, I almost feel like now tell me to Josiah, cause I'm always learning. Cause you know, I've never got to play the game survivor. Jack has played the game of survivor. And so I'm always testing Jack's knowledge. Cause Jack, Jack, no. And so in my mind, right? Like I'm thinking if I'm Rizzo and again, hindsight is 2020.
[00:48:18] I almost wonder if he were to play the idol for Sari and then knocked off a Jonathan or something like the way that that would have boosted his resume or do y'all don't think that would do enough? Horrible play. Horrible play. Really? Like if he does that at six and then votes are out at five and then like makes fire at four. That's yeah. That's a lot of gap. I'm telling you, I'm telling you, I'm talking about survivor.
[00:48:46] If I'm on a beach, if I'm in Cape May, New Jersey and Sari steps on the beach, I'm like get her off the beach. You know, like Rizzo made that move to get Sari off the beach. I would not want to keep Sari around. She's too great. She it's her game, but I know she's in finals over. I do agree, Bryce. I think there is some room to like, you've got to do something flashy with the idol. I could see that being at five. Maybe it's like, who does he save? That is a big move. Right.
[00:49:14] Cause you know, say the targets are like Tiffany and Jonathan probably better for his game. If Tiffany goes out instead of John. Right. And like the votes would probably be on a Tiffany. So like, why would he idle Tiffany? You know what I mean? It was almost, it'd almost be like, he'd want to play the idol at five or at six or whatever for someone that like is the target, but is also good for his game. Yeah. I forgot. Like who, who, like, what's the situation going to be? Cause who's Rizzo's ideal final three?
[00:49:44] It's probably Jonathan and Joe, right? Million percent. Million percent. My guess is that the votes at five are going to be on like Tiff and Aubrey. Jonathan and Joe feel like it's like everyone kind of maybe wants to go there. So I don't know. But I, and that's why to your point, Bryce, I think Rizzo knows his role, but I, and he also knows, but also in his effort to gain respect, voting out Sari is a resume builder. Yeah. Oh gosh. Huge. Huge.

[00:50:56] If Rizzo gets the credit for this to re vote out, maybe not in full, but no, but at least he can talk about it at the end. I like the idea of him using, I like the idea that you're saying of him using his idol for more than just playing on himself. If he does, the best thing he could do is like you said, Jack, if he uses it on, on Jonathan or Joe, I think even if they don't get voted out for him to say, you know what? I've had this idol. I did it two seasons in a row. If he's sitting next to them too, right? Honestly, I think that's his best chance at winning.
[00:51:26] If he's sitting next to them too, I've had an idol in my pocket, use it all the way to the end, kept it. And then I use it to save these people because I wanted them sitting next to me. And he gets the biggest, the way you win is that final tribal council, right? Like so many times there were people that I was like, I don't, I don't, I don't see how they win. And then they present themselves so well that I'm like, okay, wow, that's where they want it. So I think if Rizzo gets a chance to be like, I made a move, even though it didn't work out, like you're saying, Jack, that they got out Tiffany. I wanted Jonathan and Joe next to me. And then that's his best chance.
[00:51:56] So I could, I like that idea. Yeah. But again, I think that, you know, given Rizzo as an idol, he, Jonathan, Joe, probably all both the same way at five, whatever that might be. So then it's sort of like, all right, well you put your idol on Joe and it's like, well, he was not going home. It doesn't happen. Do you think what if, if Rizzo played his idol for Joe, do you think Joe would accept it?
[00:52:22] Like, he's like, wait, no, you're doing some old trickery stuff here. He's like, I saw Devon's play a fake one. Also Bryce, to your point, I think with the Sari idea, cause I get, I don't mind it, but I think in saving Sari, which you sort of want to be like, Hey, I want to keep my shield here. One episode longer so that I can vote her out at five and be, but Bryce, when he gets through
[00:52:49] six with his idol, he knows he's going to be safe at five because he still has the idol. You just said you was tired of a safe game, Jack. You said you was tired of these people. I'm tired of safe gameplay, but I'm not tired of people who want to be like, literally safe, like immune. Okay, Joe. Because keeping your shield is not getting voted out. But if you vote Sari out and you keep your idol, then you will not be voted out at five. Okay, Jack, but like, okay, but Jack, hear me out.
[00:53:19] You just said, but yeah. But the goal is to play a risky game. You got to vote her out later. Yes, but you're saying to keep it to be safe. As in literally to be immune. Cause if you're keeping your shield in, you're keeping them in so that you do not get voted out. So the goal is to keep Rizzo, keep her around longer so that you vote her out at five or maybe like she has to make fire at four. But if you can just vote her out at six and you have your idol, you still know you are not
[00:53:49] going to be voted out. Yeah. I'm telling y'all right now, if Rizzo kept Sari around, I would not have come on here and been like, this kid's incredible and like deserves future Mount Rushmore. I believe that's one of the dumbest plays ever. So like the fact that he. All right. And then he doesn't. Yeah. Oh, yeah. The. We could see him work the moves. Let's see. I'm just saying. But y'all. I think you might be a Sari fan, Bryce. I think you might be a Sari fan.
[00:54:15] Now, I think there's a world where maybe he makes a move, a different move at six, keeping his idol to then get out maybe a sneakier target at six. And then at five, be on board with like, okay, Sari's the threat. Because when you take out Sari at six, maybe he doesn't have as much momentum at five to get out his like ideal target. And I don't know who that would be. Probably a Tiffany or an Aubrey. But maybe there's a world at six. You take out like an Aubrey and then you take out Sari.
[00:54:46] And then you've and then you've you've sort of set the table a little bit more for yourself to then be like, okay, people wanted Sari. I got out an Aubrey. Then I got Sari at five when it was an obvious move. And now I'm here at the end with Jonathan and with Joe. And they had wanted Sari at six, but I went around that, you know, whatever that might be. But I think Rizzo is like if I put myself in Rizzo's shoes, I think he's doing pretty much exactly what I'm doing. And so it's hard to critique.
[00:55:15] And it's just one of those things where I think from the jump, his strategy of like leaning into being the super fan and the new guy is a great way to make a deep run. But now you see the repercussion of like kind of lowering your threat level in that way. It is then hard to have winner equity. Take out of that. Yeah. Faking moves now to try to recover that. But it's just kind of a catch 22 where that's just the perception that he has partly against not even in his control. Like this season hasn't even come out yet.
[00:55:44] So there's it's there's it's a double edged sword where there's pros and cons. And I think that's a big reason he got this far. And I think it's also a big reason why he might not win. You know, can I can I? Sorry. Sorry, Bryce. No, no. I want I want. So we've we've we've we've covered a lot, but I didn't get the chance to just gush over Rick Devins because like he you know, like he's I mean, he he epitomizes who I want to
[00:56:10] see and who I think a lot of people want to see on reality TV in that he plays extremely hard, extremely hard. He plays with everything he has and he has the best time doing it. Right. And the Cloth Alliance looks like they don't do either one of those. Right. They're not playing the game or they never look like they're having fun. Right. And it's like, damn, like, you know, that's that's true. I think they watch it. Like, was I having fun? No, you weren't. Like, Rick Devins is like even when he's on the box, even when he's low, even when nobody
[00:56:39] saw he's a pariah, he says, even three fields was mad at him. Right. Which that sucks. Now you really feel like a pariah. He's having a great time. Appreciates the moment. His whole thing of like where he was like, I feel closer to heaven out here. It's just like that's I can't gush enough about Rick Devins. Like what? Like you said, Jack, like this season wouldn't be the same. Right, Bryce? Like you you all have been talking about it. Wouldn't even be close to the same. But he like does the best thing a reality TV contestant can do, competitor can do is like
[00:57:08] enjoy it and play so hard. And I've loved him watching him this season. I can't I agree everything with you. My only but is I think what I like about because not even a but my and. OK, OK, sorry. Yeah, my and is. Yeah, you love him for all of that. That's my cousin, Ricky. I think what I love him is because he plays hard. He loves hard, but he'll cuss a bitch out.
[00:57:37] And I love it. OK, Rick Devins ain't scared to cuss bitches out. And I like that excites me. And like you are absolutely right. Like Rick Devins was a joy to watch. And so heartbreaking to I think that moment where he is like and we know him and Joe, they don't even. Oil and water. Him on that hammock and just like realizing that like, oh, I think I might be up for me and just like.
[00:58:08] Like. He's not even giving up, but he's like, I'm facing with the fact that like I might be hitting the wall, but if I'm gonna hit the wall, pedal to the metal. But like he's just like just that memorializing or memorial. Yeah. Memorialization of his game. I don't that that touched me. Right. Like it was just like it because it's there are times where you just give up sometimes. And it's like, oh, right. And it's just like poor me.
[00:58:37] And that's not what it was. It was like. Have you ever seen a movie? Set it off, Josiah. I've never seen a movie. Set it off. OK. Well, I'm not even going to ask you. Is it about an alarm clock? No, it's with Queen Latifah. Jada Pickett Smith is when they're bank robbers. She plays Cleo. And at the end, they got away with the money, but the police are trapping Cleo. And Cleo is like the getaway driver. All the girls.
[00:59:06] A girl has died. Jada Pickett has gotten away. Vivica Fox just died. And Cleo was in the car. The police are surrounding her. And like she's sitting in the car and it's one of those like cars. And she rolls down the window. The helicopters are on her. And they're like, pull it over. She rolls her window down. She lights a cigarette. Smokes the cigarette. Clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk, clunk.
[00:59:35] Puts her car up and presses the metal to the police. And they ultimately kill her. And I felt like that, like RZA. Not RZA. Rick Devins was Cleo in the sense of like, he's like, I don't know what other way else to go out, but I'm going straight into it. And yeah, that's a great analogy. That's exactly what he did, right? Like everyone surrounded him and he rolled the dice. And I love that he did that too, right? He was like, I'm not. And he said, I feel like I'm lucky.
[01:00:05] He plays so hard and he has such a great time. And it's like so many people in the world want to do these things, right? They want to be on reality. They want to be on the circle. They want to be on the floor is lava, right? Like they want to be competing for real, for real though. Like for real, for real, for real. There are people that they're dying to compete on this incredible stage, right? And then there are people who go on and who don't appreciate it and that or don't seem to appreciate it. Maybe, maybe the audience is wrong. It's what we're seeing. But Rick Devins makes it clear the whole time. He can't hide it. He appreciates it.
[01:00:34] Like he's having the best time of his life. And I just love, and he's playing so hard, right? Like he's not there to, to, to lose and have a good time. He's playing his ass off to win, but he's also having a great time. And I, I agree. It's a, it's, he's, he's peddled to the metal. Yeah. He's one of them. I think he's solidified himself as one of my all time favorites and all time favorite for a lot of people, just the way, because if you get a season of 20 people that all play as hard as Rick, it's going to be, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[01:01:04] He was fantastic. I'm glad he made it this far, but it was really tough to lose him and let alone also lose. The great Saree Fields, but. Yeah. Another movie trivia, Josiah first, just yes or no. Have you ever heard of the movie Poetic Justice? Yes. Do you know two, you know, two of the main actors in the movie? I'm not good at actors at all. Okay. All right. So, but you know the movie.
[01:01:31] Jack, have you ever heard of Poetic Justice, Jack? I've heard of the song by Kendrick Lamar. Poetic Justice, Poetic Justice. So it's two legendary artists in Poetic Justice. One is a deceased rapper and one comes from. Josiah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. That's right. Tupac. Yeah. Yeah. And there is a female role who comes from a legendary family, Jack.
[01:02:00] And I'll give you a hint. One of her songs is, doesn't matter what they do, do, do. Doesn't matter what the do, do, do. So she's a musical artist in the movie. Yes. Doesn't matter what the do, do, do. Doesn't matter what the do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do, do, do. You ever heard that song, Josiah or Jack? Was that Aaliyah? No. No. I'll play it. I'll play it. Josiah!
[01:02:30] Who's that artist in one movie? What are the odds? No. I got no. Hold on, wait. Someone put that ground on. I'm screwed, but hold on, wait. Let me just. I want to. Because we got to hold on, wait. Because I'm not doing. Because that's the song I would think that Jack would know. But. Hold on. Let me just. Real quick. What is it? Doesn't matter what the do, do, do, do. Okay. Or.
[01:03:01] I get so lonely. Can't let. Just anybody. Uh oh. Yeah, Bryce. They don't play this in Delco, Bryce. I'm going to be honest with you. Okay. Wait. Where is the. All right. It's Janet Jackson. I mean. She's before my time. She put. But yeah. Jack. She is before my time.
[01:03:32] Okay. But. Poetic justice. I knew that Tupac and Janet Jackson were in a. Oh, okay. Yeah. After we said the name. So. I bring up poetic justice because I feel like. Wait. We get that second immunity challenge. And everybody. It's like all. All of a sudden. Now it's. Now it's everybody against Tiff. And everybody is. Wait. How do you spell it? Hi.
[01:04:01] And what was the word? It was. Inconceivable. Inconceivable. Okay. Which is what. Which is how I felt when I saw everybody helping one person. And Tiff working by herself. That was inconceivable to me. That that was. I couldn't believe it. I was so heated. I was so. My. Alyssa. Alyssa was. Pissed. She was cursing the whole time in that. So. Yeah. You're right. It was poetic justice that Tiff. Won that. She pulled it out. But when I saw. E. N. I said. Wait a minute.
[01:04:31] I thought. I was trying to spell it. Well. I mean. It is. Slightly in their defense. It is because. The. Like. It has to be read on both sides. So. They might. You might have it right on one side. But if you don't put the block. In the right order. Then the opposite side looks all wonky. Not to say that. I mean. That's. That's a big factor in the challenge. Yeah. Look around. Not. Not to say they had the spelling necessarily right either. Yeah. But. Again. Look. I mean. Yeah. It was kind of ridiculous. But also.
[01:05:00] Once you know the word. How much helping do you got to. Do with. Right. You know. Everyone should just. Build the arch. Like. Aubrey was standing there. Being like. Okay. I before E. Except after C. So they should have. But it's like. You know. Aubrey. He knows the word. You can just go do your. Your tower. And just to bring it up. Just real quick. Because I don't know what the rules are. But I always start. In an individual immunity challenge.
[01:05:30] I thought maybe. The rule should be. You can only do. Your piece. I'm just. I was curious. With them five judges. In the background. I was doing. They want lunch. We've seen. We've seen. We've seen. We've seen. We've seen. We've seen. We've seen. We've seen.
[01:06:04] We've seen. All the time. People like. Giving each other. Like little tips about the puzzle. Or like what the word is. I mean. In 46. We saw Liz run down. And help Maria. I mean. That was. That was nuts too. That was the most. Blaine. Like controversy. I think. Where were the five judges done? I'm just asking. I agree. That one was a little bit more. Questionable. You know. You know. Yeah. They weren't touching the block. So. I think that is fair. But with. With Joe Spelling. Tim from Tar Hub.
[01:06:34] You know. Philly Tim. Exterminator. He's so funny. He sent me a meme. Of the last time Joe did it. And the things all misspelled too. I was like. Joe's so good at balancing blocks. But like. Spelling with those blocks. It's like. It's been so hard. I don't know if you saw. But yesterday morning. He posted like a disclaimer. That he had dyslexia. Before the episode. Okay. Yeah. Well that makes it hard. Yeah. Why was he the one doing it? Why was he the one doing it? They're all working together. Hey. Guys. I have dyslexia.
[01:07:04] Aubrey. You got this. It's in the. That's awesome. By the way. Why are we putting the eggs in the. The dyslexia. Yeah. Move it over. Yeah. Yeah. Move it to somebody else. Yeah. Throw back to God on betrayal. That was just a spelling one. That wasn't. But. But no. I mean. Tiff. You know. Being in the room with. She pulled it out. Is supposed to be. Oh. It was on her bag. Oh. Oh. I bet. It was insane. Because we were going nuts.
[01:07:34] And it was just two of us. In our bedroom. So. Yeah. I bet that was awesome. She deserves it. She deserves all praise. I was pumped for that. Was poetic justice. Poetic justice. Is. What. What do you. Is there. What is the end road. For Tiffany. What's a winning role. For Tiffany. I think she's. Got to figure out. How to convince people to get. I mean. Either. I mean look. If she wins final five. All she's got to do. Is make fire. And I think.
[01:08:05] Whether she wins final five or not. You got to figure out a way. To take Aubrey out. Yeah. And obviously. You'd have to do some convincing. Of Joe. And of Jonathan. But Tip has a relationship. With Joe. We've seen. And with Rizzo. But yeah. I mean. I just think. The thing is. Aubrey. We've seen. You know. For all the. The ups and downs. I think. Of her general game. She's always very good. At the end. Or whatever. Whatever phase of the game. Of sort of finding people. That are. Pretty straightforward players.
[01:08:35] And just kind of. Bringing them under her wing. Like we saw with Joe. And Co. Wrong. Was like. An Aubrey plus one. And here. We've seen recently. Aubrey's really. Seems to have built this relationship. With Joe. And with Jonathan. Where she just like. Knows how to talk to them. To like. Make things make sense to them. So I feel like. It could be difficult. To flip. Either of those two. Against Aubrey. Granted. You know. Rizzo still has his idol. If Tiff wins immunity. There's only Joe. Jonathan. And Aubrey. At that point.
[01:09:05] So maybe there's a move. To be made there. Then. You know. You never know. What could happen. In the fire making. Is. Would you say. Tiffany. Sitting. Tiffany's ideal. Final three. Would be. Rizzo. Joe. Tiffany. No. I think it would still be. Jonathan. Joe. And her. Yeah. Yeah. For the same. A. Just. Not to say. Now. Jonathan. Versus. Rizzo. Against the jury. I think is. An interesting. Like who gets what votes.
[01:09:34] But I think if you want Joe there. For the same reason we've seen. In a lot of other seasons. You have a Jonathan there. They're kind of pulling from the same. Yeah. Crew. And they might. Switch votes. And if one of them's on the jury. They probably vote for the other. So. Kind of. Kind of like in 48. When Kyle brought Joe. And Eva. It's sort of the same logic. Of like now. Joe and Jonathan are there. Stephanie. Coach. And Chrissy. They're not going to know what to do. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. That's. That's the move. Is to sit next to Jonathan.
[01:10:03] And Joe. I think for. Almost everyone. Is to sit next to Jonathan and Joe. Except for. Jonathan and Joe. So. But I think Tiff could also do well. Against the Rizzo. You know. Oh yeah. For sure. So. You know. If you get there with Joe, Rizzo. And Tiff. I think Tiff's still in a good spot. So. I think. They're the big. I think she's target number one right now though. So. The biggest thing is just trying to get through. So. Then. Again. So. For me.
[01:10:31] It sounds like an ideal final three. Would be. Anyone with Joe. Joe. And Jonathan. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. I think all of the. I think Aubrey Rizzo. And. And Tiffany. Are all looking at that. As their ideal. So. See this. This is why I was the third boot. Because. That's not how I would look at it. But like. It makes complete sense. Right. Like. If I were out there. Right now. I would be.
[01:11:01] I would be gunning. To get a Jonathan out. Like. Again. Because I would be trying to like. Make a move. But. It. How y'all just put it. Again. See Josiah. That's why I love this. Badass. Because it's like. I really do. It opens my mind. And mine too. I never would have looked at it like that. So that's like. Such a. I don't think Jonathan's a bad person. Like. I don't think he's. Necessarily a bad person to go out. Either. Like. If I'm sitting there. I am going to be like. Okay. Jonathan probably has these.
[01:11:30] Three or four votes. Already. Right. Let's see. But again. I think the. Component of him. Maybe splitting some votes. With Joe. Also those two. Together. It's a big thing. And then obviously. If Jonathan goes out. Now you're sitting. If you're Tiff. For example. Now you're sitting next to. Either a Rizzo. Or an Aubrey. And I think. That's a little bit. Harder to be like. Who's maybe getting what. Vote there. But I think if you're Tiff.
[01:12:00] Your ideal is to get Aubrey at five. And then maybe. Jonathan and Rizzo. Make fire at four. And look. Jonathan probably wins. And then. You know. That's your crew. But. And if Rizzo wins. I still think you're in a decent spot. You know. So. Yeah. I think Aubrey and Tiff. Have the same goal. In that. They need to get. Each other out. And from there on. I would. I really don't. I don't know who's. Going to win. But I would be shocked. If it wasn't Aubrey or Tiff. So they got to get. Unless they're sitting on the same.
[01:12:29] The same final three. Aubrey and Tiff got a gun for each other. Because. It just seems. Again. Just like you said. Jonathan and Joe. You don't want them voting for each other. It's guaranteed. They're going to. They're going to cloth the whole thing. And then. If one of them is out. I would want both of them there. And then. They got to split the votes. With. With the other. The other people of the cloth. So. That's what we got to do. But they got to be the final two there. With either Aubrey or Tiffany. I think they run away with it. And Rizzo. Again. People just don't seem to be. Worried about him.
[01:12:58] I think Rizzo wants to be there. With Jonathan and Joe too. That's his best shot. So. I mean. I've got my notes. And. We've only got one more episode left. And so. I'm looking at the combinations. And so I guess. We'll see. How it all pans out. I have to say. You were not a pariah. In my side. Josiah.
[01:13:29] You were a bright. Joy. And we are so honored. To have you. On the podcast. And I hope this could become. An annual. Shmanual. I'm honored. I'm the one that's honored. It was so so fun. I love talking. Usually I'm just like. Screaming at the TV. So. This is really really fun. To have people scream back. It was a really really great time. Y'all are the best. I love the podcast. Y'all are super entertaining. On. Affirmative. Thank you all so so much. Well I'll make a deal. You could come back on the podcast. Josiah.
[01:13:59] If. Maybe sometime this summer. Me. You. And listen. Bella. Could get some Rita's Wood Ice. And Delco. Nifty 50s. We're going to nifty 50s boys. Get the Ford F-150 ready. Okay. I got my trucker hat. But. Got yourself. Let's go birds. Yeah. Sounds good. Burged again. But. Also. Yeah. Also. Before we go.
[01:14:28] Josiah. Sorry. Jack. Cause. I be loving. Josiah's TikTok. Cause he's a TikTok star. I haven't seen much of your flyers gear lately. Josiah. Wow. You're going to do that to me. What's going on here? Freddie was asking. Those kids are the most electric team in sports. I was at the playoff game. It was the most electric thing. The only thing more exciting than that is watching Rick Devins with Mr.
[01:14:57] B's flip a coin. You know what I mean? That shit was nuts. I love the flyers. I'm going to stay on the flyers bandwagon to the day I die. Porter Martone is a dog. So. Yeah. Flyers are out. I'm sad about it, but it's okay. We got, we got Eagles coming up and. It was going to keep breaking my heart. It is what it is. If you don't know the Lord, Jack. Uh, Josiah has been a big Eagles fan. You know, we see it a lot, but we had never seen a mention of any of the flyers. And all of a sudden, Jack,
[01:15:27] this is how we know Josiah assimilated into Philadelphia. Cause Philadelphia, we're the most fair weather fans ever. The flyers got into the playoffs. Josiah had flyers gear. Everywhere. Everywhere. Dripping orange, dripping orange, Jack. It was this. It comes alive in the playoffs. I mean, Oh yeah. The city was electric. Oh, listen, they're going to break my heart every year. Joel. And if one person is going to be a hit with a meteor. Yeah.
[01:15:56] I don't have no process. No trust. Joel Embiid is a great player. Always hurt. It is what it is. Uh, I'm heartbroken over here. I was over them when they got rid of my man. Oh yeah. I love Jeremy. Yeah. That's a sign. Oh, but they saw high. That's what they said. What? Sign to Bryce. Shout out to the posse. Cause the posse knows I love. It doesn't say all that.
[01:16:28] Listen, mind your business. But a posse member did get this for me. Cause they know I love Jared McCain. Oh, he's the best. Melo ball. But I mean, Jared McCain's on my squad now. Well, listen, and mind you, listen, I just ordered an old Casey Jersey the other day. Yeah. The owner said we sold high. What are you talking about? Yeah. He's a beast. He's got fired. Right. So yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, that's what happens when you sell one of the best players in the league right now. Over.
[01:16:58] By an aura. Well, listen, Flyers nation. Go get your boy Josiah. Cause I ain't seen where nothing. Jack Atkins. We'll see you next week.
