[00:03:13] Good to be here.

[00:03:16] Reporting live from Chicago.
[00:03:19] Yes.
[00:03:20] Now listen, can we get a drum roll from Jack and Wendell?
[00:03:24] Drum roll.
[00:03:27] Let's bring to the Purple Pants Podcast Survivor News,
[00:03:31] the first ever real official winner
[00:03:35] the podcast has ever seen.
[00:03:38] From the podcast reviewer, season 44,
[00:03:42] the one, the only, the jam to the jam.
[00:03:49] The double Y.
[00:03:50] Yes, how you doin'?
[00:03:51] Oh my God, I'm so excited.
[00:03:53] Finally made it.
[00:03:55] I'm happy you finally found my phone number, your Rolodex.
[00:03:59] The shade already.
[00:04:03] We always have your number.
[00:04:07] How are you jam?
[00:04:09] Oh, I'm super happy.
[00:04:10] I'm so excited.
[00:04:12] Oh, today was a little messy at work.
[00:04:13] We have no power.
[00:04:14] We work with the generator,
[00:04:15] but I'm so excited to party with you
[00:04:17] and like talk about the most amazing thing ever
[00:04:21] that on TV is the survivor and I love it.
[00:04:25] I'm so excited to have you here, jam.
[00:04:27] Before we get into episode nine,
[00:04:29] we have some housekeeping.
[00:04:32] Wendell and I were just in Chicago
[00:04:35] and we have to give a huge shout out to CBS
[00:04:38] and my Kageon sister, Jatia,
[00:04:40] because CBS had the baby boys
[00:04:43] hosting an official pre-screening of this episode
[00:04:46] this Tuesday at Chicago State University.
[00:04:49] And we had some amazing people there,
[00:04:51] some amazing fans, some amazing students.
[00:04:53] It was so much fun to be there with CBS.
[00:04:55] Wendeezy, what should we think about the pre-screening?
[00:04:59] I think it was a special episode
[00:05:01] to have a pre-screening first of all,
[00:05:03] because it was another fun one.
[00:05:04] This season has obviously gotten really good really fast.
[00:05:08] But what was really special to me
[00:05:10] was the fact that they reached out to us
[00:05:12] to go to a PBI to host a survivor event, a CBS event.
[00:05:18] We do a lot of survivor events on our own
[00:05:20] with Bryce and Wend,
[00:05:22] and for the big dogs to reach out to us
[00:05:25] to kind of partner with them.
[00:05:27] It just felt really special
[00:05:28] and it made for a great time.
[00:05:32] Absolutely.
[00:05:33] And if you were in Chicago last night, Wednesday,
[00:05:37] at the Bryce & Wendeezy,
[00:05:39] Bryce the Winfish will watch party
[00:05:41] of the BWP Sword 46,
[00:05:43] baby, Chicago, Chicago, Chicago.
[00:05:47] We had a time.
[00:05:49] The one thing that we love about our Bryce & Win events,
[00:05:52] you never know, you might see Jam Jam.
[00:05:54] You never know who you might see at a Bryce & Win event,
[00:05:57] and we were just so excited to have Taylor, Xavier,
[00:06:02] Xander, Austin, so many people at the event.
[00:06:07] Chicago showed out and showed up.
[00:06:09] It was really giving Jack
[00:06:12] a Zaddy Fest, in my opinion.
[00:06:15] The three had a Zaddy right there.
[00:06:17] Okay.
[00:06:18] Oh my God.
[00:06:19] You know, I know Jam would have loved
[00:06:21] to have been in this picture with me.
[00:06:23] Girl, I would have been on top of you right there.
[00:06:26] You're like, that's my spot right there on the cloud.
[00:06:28] Oh my gosh.
[00:06:29] It was so good to see like Liana and Xander.
[00:06:33] So good to see Andy and the rest of the survivor community.
[00:06:37] It was so good just to see so many people
[00:06:40] on so many amazing fans.
[00:06:41] There are so many people from the University of Chicago, Jack.
[00:06:46] They was giving me some ish like,
[00:06:48] hey, we agree with Jack.
[00:06:50] We like so you have some stands in the building.
[00:06:53] Yes, Chicago from Chicago state.
[00:06:55] Chicago from the school that you went to.
[00:06:57] There was a beautiful black sister and her brother
[00:07:00] and she was like, baby boy, I'll let you know.
[00:07:03] I'm signed with Jack.
[00:07:05] I don't know what your thing is with the,
[00:07:07] what's your mascot?
[00:07:09] Your maroon.
[00:07:10] I was like, oh, ferocious color.
[00:07:15] So Chicago truly was such an amazing time.
[00:07:18] Wendy, what's what's you feel about Chicago?
[00:07:21] It was special.
[00:07:22] Like you said, Andy was there.
[00:07:24] Winner, big brother, which season?
[00:07:27] 131515.
[00:07:29] If you recall and he's a big, he's a big survivor fan
[00:07:34] and he is big on the Twitter's and he has.
[00:07:37] He had a little beef with the entire cast of 46.
[00:07:40] So it was good to get him out there and, and, you know,
[00:07:44] so people had some words for him, but he is he's he's awesome.
[00:07:47] And he's awesome and he's a great sport.
[00:07:50] So it was great to see him.
[00:07:51] But yeah, Chicago, this was one of those special stops
[00:07:54] where people just it's like people came out of the woodwork.
[00:07:57] I know a lot of you have seen Squid Game, the challenge.
[00:07:59] Our buddy Trey was here, player 301.
[00:08:02] You might remember the gentleman on Squid Game
[00:08:05] that had his mother with him.
[00:08:07] That's Trey.
[00:08:08] So it was good to see him.
[00:08:10] And apparently his mother might pop out
[00:08:11] to one of our events coming up.
[00:08:13] Oh, that's exciting.
[00:08:15] I hope I'm there.
[00:08:16] I want to meet her.
[00:08:18] Yeah, I've never had so much FOMO for for an event.
[00:08:21] But you know, have been in Chicago, my city,
[00:08:24] not only you guys, but some other friends, my Chicago friends.
[00:08:28] And I mean, the fact that CBS had you guys host
[00:08:31] that private screening, that's like a big level up.
[00:08:33] So I'm very excited for you guys with that.
[00:08:35] And hopefully they do some more of that in the future.
[00:08:38] But yeah, I'm excited that, you know, I'll be out
[00:08:40] in New York City for the finale.
[00:08:41] And there's something about those multi day events.
[00:08:44] I was saying before we started the podcast like Chicago
[00:08:47] and like New York, where you have multiple day when it's one night.
[00:08:50] It feels like the night just gets started.
[00:08:52] And then before, you know what the episode's over, but multiple nights.
[00:08:55] So you get the meet and greet or the pre party Tuesday
[00:08:59] than the finale Wednesday and some other stuff Thursday.
[00:09:03] So I'm very excited for what's to come.
[00:09:07] Yes. And just a shout out to our just entire reality TV family
[00:09:10] from Darnell, from season, survivor, Koran,
[00:09:13] from Jessica, from Survivor, from Matt Hoffman,
[00:09:17] from Leanna, from Austin, from Xander.
[00:09:20] There's so many amazing people there and you know,
[00:09:23] wait a minute, Karishma from amazing amazing.
[00:09:27] Karishma from Amazing Race was in the building.
[00:09:30] It was just so many TV crossovers.
[00:09:31] And so, like, you know, Wanda was telling me to tell y'all,
[00:09:34] don't have FOMO. No reason to have FOMO when you could just go.
[00:09:40] We got Boston.
[00:09:41] We got Philadelphia.
[00:09:43] OK, and where on the block is?
[00:09:47] Tell them Jamil.
[00:09:53] Jam will be in Philadelphia.
[00:09:55] And then we have the finale.
[00:09:57] So I mean, I mean, if anybody
[00:10:01] have never been to a party, you know, you have to be at the price
[00:10:04] and Wanda presents whatever they want to do.
[00:10:06] You have to be there.
[00:10:07] And if I can make it from Puerto Rico, I can make it anywhere.
[00:10:11] You better make it.
[00:10:13] You know, it's crazy jam about our Philadelphia event.
[00:10:16] Jam's first ever Philly event that he should not have even been at.
[00:10:22] You met Jack. Jack was there like that was so well.
[00:10:25] We were all together.
[00:10:26] And I when I find so interesting is that when we first met you,
[00:10:30] you were so like quiet and we was like, you know, it's like hi.
[00:10:34] And then as the night went on, we got to meet jam jam.
[00:10:40] And oh my God, it was so much fun.
[00:10:42] It was my first ever whatever party from coming from, you know, playing the game.
[00:10:48] Living in Puerto Rico, I would watch all the like promos and stuff
[00:10:50] and never made a party.
[00:10:52] I never made it to any party.
[00:10:53] So I went as a player and you guys met me
[00:10:55] and I remember meeting you when the lamb rice and you work guys.
[00:10:58] So obviously, Jaguar so tall.
[00:11:00] But I was like, oh, my God, you guys are so big.
[00:11:03] My cast is like the tiniest cast ever.
[00:11:05] And it was such a fun time.
[00:11:07] And yeah, memories still have to like.
[00:11:10] Absolutely.
[00:11:12] I also want to go down memory lane jam because I think
[00:11:15] you also have to Boston with us before.
[00:11:17] And I went to always tells me this story where he's like,
[00:11:22] I never really got how like open the community was until one night
[00:11:28] we're in Boston and Windows like I'm looking at the crowd.
[00:11:31] And all the time I see you a jam, you a jam just dance.
[00:11:35] And like, you know, just our selves and it's like so much fun.
[00:11:39] So yeah, Boston that that very event.
[00:11:43] I don't know if Boston was before after Philly
[00:11:47] because obviously it was the season before your season.
[00:11:50] So that was 43.
[00:11:51] It was after Philly.
[00:11:52] Yeah, it was my second one though.
[00:11:54] I'm bright, bright someone.
[00:11:55] So and jam starts popping up at these events.
[00:11:58] And I'm like, and then, you know, as the night goes on,
[00:12:00] jam starts coming out of his shell.
[00:12:02] Yeah.
[00:12:03] How is this person?
[00:12:05] I don't know him, but I love him and he's awesome.
[00:12:08] And then, of course, at the end of the season, we see your promo
[00:12:12] and you got that.
[00:12:13] What did you say in the promo for whatever the next season?
[00:12:16] I'm so excited.
[00:12:17] I'm so excited.
[00:12:17] I can't wait to meet Jeff.
[00:12:18] I can't wait to the shower.
[00:12:19] No brush my teeth.
[00:12:20] Booping the ocean.
[00:12:22] Bring it.
[00:12:23] And I'm like, you know what?
[00:12:24] This is going to be a great season and it lived up to the height
[00:12:27] and you and you won.
[00:12:29] So jam, we you know, we love you and we appreciate you
[00:12:32] and you are one of those special people in the community.
[00:12:35] Thank you.
[00:12:35] Thank you for adopting me.
[00:12:37] I really feel like this is like a real family.
[00:12:39] It's weird, you know, you see it from afar.
[00:12:41] You think it doesn't happen.
[00:12:43] Even if you're not like on a reality show or whatever,
[00:12:45] if you're like a big fan, you can see them over and over again
[00:12:48] at these events and they basically become part of one of us,
[00:12:52] one of you and it's because all the effort that you guys put into
[00:12:55] you're super amazing.
[00:12:56] Obviously, the VIP parties are like the best to meet people
[00:13:00] like one on one.
[00:13:01] Then if they're at the party, like full people, young people,
[00:13:04] everybody family, singles, people who come there.
[00:13:07] I don't know.
[00:13:08] You make friends for a lifetime.
[00:13:10] I've heard of so many people that go to these parties by
[00:13:12] themselves one year and then the next year
[00:13:15] they just keep hanging out together and they become real friends.
[00:13:18] And that's what it's all about, you know?
[00:13:19] And that's why I go.
[00:13:21] People are like, why are you always on the plane?
[00:13:23] I was like, if you guys come with me to one.
[00:13:27] Yes. You summed it up perfectly.
[00:13:30] Yeah, jam, because that's the truth.
[00:13:32] So what I do.
[00:13:33] Yeah, listen, period.
[00:13:35] And also a shout out to Q because, you know,
[00:13:38] Q happened to be in Chicago and baby,
[00:13:42] what an episode for Q to be there.
[00:13:45] Jackery Jamal Malik.
[00:13:50] Quintet.
[00:13:51] Quintet is Christian.
[00:13:56] Hubeke.
[00:13:58] Twenty one.
[00:13:58] Atkins, please take it away.
[00:14:01] Oh my gosh. What an honor.
[00:14:05] Yeah, you texted me after the screening and you were like,
[00:14:10] I'm excited to hear your thoughts.
[00:14:12] And so I knew I was going to be in for a bumpy ride
[00:14:14] strapped on my seatbelt through on my Q skirt
[00:14:17] and settled in for grab my popcorn
[00:14:20] and settled in for the episode.
[00:14:22] And man, it was a really it was another really fun one
[00:14:26] after the last one.
[00:14:28] Yeah, so we kick it off.
[00:14:30] We get back to camp after the wild previous tribal were Q
[00:14:34] asked to quit.
[00:14:35] And you know, there was a lot of predictions and talk,
[00:14:38] you know, between us and online of like,
[00:14:41] did Q do this on purpose?
[00:14:42] Is Q going to say, oh, this was all a plan?
[00:14:45] I was kind of surprised.
[00:14:46] He was pretty humble and said, I messed up.
[00:14:50] Like I made a mistake and I made a mistake.
[00:14:52] I travel asking to quit because I don't really want to quit.
[00:14:56] He kind of owned up to the disaster of his tribal council.
[00:15:00] But people are still upset.
[00:15:02] I mean, Tiffany's upset that he leaked her idol rightfully so.
[00:15:08] I guess before we get into some of the more
[00:15:11] some of the other effects of this tribal council,
[00:15:14] what do we think about, you know, sort of Q's
[00:15:16] reaction and then sort of Tiffany's situation with Q at this point?
[00:15:22] Well, it was I haven't I was if any was nice.
[00:15:26] Yeah, they blurred a little bit of the F word
[00:15:29] when she was like on the night like handling and she was mad.
[00:15:32] I would have not talked to him the rest of the whole time.
[00:15:37] No good for me.
[00:15:38] I was so freaking mad as a player.
[00:15:40] If you're there, you commit to it.
[00:15:42] Don't be trying like a feisty and then trying to
[00:15:46] ask everybody's game because you have another way to see it.
[00:15:53] I think she was right on just disconnecting with her
[00:15:55] and just like, you know, distancing herself from him
[00:15:58] because there's no way was such a big like oops
[00:16:02] or like whatever he did to try to do his game his way
[00:16:05] that there's no going back and there's no faking it.
[00:16:08] And there's like, you know, it happened to me on the game
[00:16:11] as like with Josh, I try, you know, but once I saw
[00:16:14] I was the one out and I was the Q I need to fix it.
[00:16:17] But if I'm the one with the people that I don't need you,
[00:16:19] you know, that's what I do.
[00:16:22] Yeah, that and more.
[00:16:23] I don't want to.
[00:16:24] I feel like Q.
[00:16:28] Trying to queue us because I feel like in the beginning of the episode,
[00:16:33] it was very much like it's my fault.
[00:16:36] I did it. I can't tell them when I can't love them.
[00:16:40] I can't I can't have them go out like that.
[00:16:42] But as the episode goes on, you hear more Q confessionals.
[00:16:49] He returns to uppercase Q.
[00:16:51] He returns to uppercase Q.
[00:16:53] Like, but back at the wall.
[00:16:55] Hey, do I do?
[00:16:56] I was just like, what's happening?
[00:17:02] So I don't know.
[00:17:03] I don't know.
[00:17:05] I don't know.
[00:17:06] But what I can say is that at the last tribal, you said
[00:17:11] he wanted to reset the game and they they he unplugged the PlayStation.
[00:17:18] He cut the power off at Jam Salon.
[00:17:21] And that's a freaking mess.
[00:17:25] We run it on a generator right now because I don't know.
[00:17:29] I don't know what he did.
[00:17:32] He just like he just shook everything.
[00:17:36] He was like an earthquake with a capital Q.
[00:17:38] Like the man he he just he has this ability to just shake everything up.
[00:17:44] And what's crazy is this?
[00:17:46] We saw him get how many five, six votes at the end.
[00:17:49] I could still and usually when that happens, like you're the next person
[00:17:53] to be voted out and I could see that.
[00:17:55] But I could also see a world where this crazy man.
[00:17:59] Or these crazy now, like he has jumbled everybody's lives up.
[00:18:03] So I could see a world where now they're like, you know what?
[00:18:05] Tip got idle. She is the threat or Kenzie was going against against him.
[00:18:10] She's the threat or I could still see or we want to get to the end with Q
[00:18:14] because no one's going to vote for him.
[00:18:15] You'll see a world where you can see it out.
[00:18:18] And what's crazy is I could still see a world where Q sits at the end
[00:18:23] and wins the game.
[00:18:25] I would hate that.
[00:18:28] Win the game.
[00:18:29] I don't know.
[00:18:30] It would take a certain combination of people for me to see
[00:18:35] Q winning the game because like you said, he effectively tanked his game
[00:18:39] last week and sort of to the debate we had last week.
[00:18:43] He's almost on that level with Venus where people are not worried
[00:18:46] about getting them out now because they're like, well, they're not.
[00:18:49] They're not. They're so chaotic.
[00:18:51] No one wants to work with them.
[00:18:52] So they're not really a problem right now and they're not really a problem.
[00:18:55] A threat to win.
[00:18:56] But obviously if there's a few people on that level,
[00:18:59] they could all get to the end together.
[00:19:00] And then it's like what what happens then?
[00:19:06] Can we talk about Venus though?
[00:19:08] Like, you know, I love Venus this episode where she like, so.
[00:19:16] Y'all trying to, you know, put the band back together and see what's up
[00:19:22] and then effectively they're like, nah, we good.
[00:19:26] Venus is like, well, y'all don't understand the game.
[00:19:29] Y'all suck.
[00:19:31] And if you try to get with the winner squad, get with me.
[00:19:36] I don't care what nobody says.
[00:19:37] I don't care whether Venus wins the game or whether Venus is out next week
[00:19:42] or whatever she is a queen and she is legendary.
[00:19:45] And I just have so much love for mother Venus for no matter the situation,
[00:19:52] no matter if she's at the top or the bottom,
[00:19:54] she always will come in confident and with a plan.
[00:19:59] She's definitely good TV.
[00:20:00] She's definitely like good, like entertaining to watch her confessionals.
[00:20:04] The way she approached people with her confidence, like not thinking that
[00:20:08] they're going to get mad at her or even like she already knows their hitter.
[00:20:11] So she doesn't give, you know, to sense about it.
[00:20:14] But she's like she goes straight to Hunter was like, well, you bought it for me
[00:20:19] like, because they don't like it was like, well, you didn't have to do it.
[00:20:22] So karma is a bitch, you know, and she's like, keep popping and popping
[00:20:25] and popping and popping and I love her.
[00:20:28] I love her. Yeah, I don't know if she wins.
[00:20:29] I don't know if she does whatever well or not.
[00:20:32] But the way at least that story is being told through her eyes and the way it's
[00:20:36] like, oh my God, look at the one of the one and our from Nami from the day one.
[00:20:40] And now she's basically her own list.
[00:20:42] And we don't know what happened with this next episode because
[00:20:44] that preview was like crazy.
[00:20:46] So yeah, it's it's cool to watch.
[00:20:49] And I she's really amazing, beautiful person in person.
[00:20:52] And as a character on TV, really fun.
[00:20:56] So do we have a world where Venus can win?
[00:21:03] It's not a game that we play.
[00:21:04] I think I think she could win next to Q and Liz.
[00:21:10] Yeah, maybe less.
[00:21:12] Nobody's anything with Liz is also she's like.
[00:21:15] Aware, I just I don't know what happened.
[00:21:17] The preview like threw me off with Liz.
[00:21:19] So I don't know.
[00:21:20] Well, that I do want to say like Venus as always great TV.
[00:21:24] It was so funny when Hunter was like, well, I just threw
[00:21:27] on a vote for you because I knew no one would get mad.
[00:21:30] And she was like, well, I'm mad.
[00:21:31] He's like, but you're always mad.
[00:21:33] So honestly, not wrong in strategy wise, but Venus, you know,
[00:21:39] she's not afraid to play hard.
[00:21:40] So that's not someone even though she does have a lot of allies in the game,
[00:21:44] it's still not someone I would want to be on the wrong side of things with.
[00:21:49] But can I ask you a question?
[00:21:52] Because I need because your guys, in my opinion, are the Mount Rushmore of survivor.
[00:21:58] We got jam.
[00:22:00] We got Wendy's and we got Jack.
[00:22:03] OK, like one of these is not like the other.
[00:22:06] What are these?
[00:22:07] It's not like the other and tell me why Jack and jam should be there
[00:22:11] and went to.
[00:22:14] But I need to know your thought on Liz.
[00:22:20] Like where?
[00:22:21] Yes, this is that's what I wanted to talk about next.
[00:22:24] So I'm glad that you're asking about it because it's like I like Liz.
[00:22:28] Like I mean, I think but after I seen the preview and after this episode,
[00:22:34] at this point, I kind of am like, hmm, I could could understand the the soda dilemma.
[00:22:45] Then we get to this.
[00:22:46] And now it's like I understand why you're mad at Q.
[00:22:50] But I don't know the word like.
[00:22:54] Yeah, I was I was kind of itching to talk about this
[00:22:56] because I think Liz is Liz has started to arrive as a play
[00:23:01] like as a presence, but I think the way that she views the game
[00:23:05] is not really. Accurate.
[00:23:09] And I think that's like a testament to a big issue we've seen this season of
[00:23:14] every there's so much talk this season about getting credit for your moves.
[00:23:18] I mean, we see it multiple times this episode.
[00:23:20] We've seen it previously.
[00:23:22] And the fact that Liz gets so emotional and upset about Q overshadowing her move
[00:23:29] to me, that was actually beneficial for her game.
[00:23:32] Right. She kind of is this like the one spearheading the Tevin vote.
[00:23:38] And we see time and time again, even last week with Tevin going home.
[00:23:42] If you're the one who makes a big move and takes the credit for it.
[00:23:45] That's a recipe to be thrown into the crosshairs next.
[00:23:48] And so Q effectively tanking his own game at this tribal where she pulls off this move.
[00:23:54] That doesn't take any credit away from her orchestrating the Tevin blindside, right?
[00:23:58] She could go to the Final Tribal Council and say, hey, I was the one who really put
[00:24:01] my foot down and made this move happen.
[00:24:03] Q, what would Q say?
[00:24:04] Like, well, actually, I tried to quit and that distracted everybody.
[00:24:07] So you should actually vote for me.
[00:24:09] That to me, I think that was a great thing for Liz, where you make this move
[00:24:13] and then you almost do a little alla gabler and you could drift back into the background.
[00:24:18] But for some reason, she seems so set on getting credit.
[00:24:21] And that's just been an issue with a lot of the players all season.
[00:24:24] I think that's why this season is so messy, is people are desperate
[00:24:27] for credit in the moment when in reality make your move, tuck it away,
[00:24:31] bring it to Final Tribal Council and then let it and then take the credit for it.
[00:24:36] Yeah, because at the end, at the end, it's obviously you have to make it
[00:24:38] to the end is what I said when I was on the game was like
[00:24:41] that the strategies get to the final jury, right?
[00:24:45] And then when you're there, you control the narrative,
[00:24:47] depending on who's there with you because the story can be different.
[00:24:49] Had I been there with Carson, probably my argument would have been different.
[00:24:52] But he wasn't there, right?
[00:24:54] So going back to Liz, yeah, she need to chill out and don't get it too seriously.
[00:24:59] She knew what she did.
[00:25:00] Get there to the end, don't ruffle feathers, don't get it personal.
[00:25:03] If you take anything personal, then obviously like you cloud your judgment.
[00:25:08] But the thing with Liz and the way I see her playing the game
[00:25:11] because she wasn't such a powerful tribe as she was always winning.
[00:25:15] When you are in other tribes and you don't know the dynamics,
[00:25:17] you just know gossip of what happened.
[00:25:19] But then you have a person on this big group that comes
[00:25:23] and goes like I'm willing to vote this person out.
[00:25:25] Everybody that's in the other tribes is like, perfect.
[00:25:28] So you're not with them.
[00:25:28] You want to vote them out?
[00:25:29] I want to vote them out.
[00:25:31] And she's just like climbing a little bit, but also staying by herself, right?
[00:25:36] Because she's willing to tell other people,
[00:25:38] I'm going to vote people from my original tribe, but she's also alone.
[00:25:43] Right? So I don't know what that means in the future.
[00:25:47] And I don't think she should value the fact that she's like controlling
[00:25:51] the votes because she's putting people to be sacrificed.
[00:25:54] But there are also her numbers.
[00:25:56] So I don't know what she's going to think that's going to.
[00:26:00] I don't know if she knows that's going to affect her in the future
[00:26:02] because then if she gets at the end with Ben, Charlie and Maria
[00:26:07] and then Kensie and Tiffany, and then she's there by herself,
[00:26:09] she could keep climbing, but they can also go like.
[00:26:14] Let's vote her out because she's the only Nami and all the juries, Nami,
[00:26:17] they're going to vote for her to win.
[00:26:18] You know, that's what we did in 44.
[00:26:21] Like we didn't want Lauren or Jamie there
[00:26:23] because all everybody was from their tribe.
[00:26:25] They were going to get all their votes.
[00:26:27] But I don't know if she's aware of that.
[00:26:30] She should be paying everybody at this point needs to know
[00:26:33] why they're putting people in the jury.
[00:26:34] And I don't know if they're doing it for the right reasons.
[00:26:37] Yeah, I agree.
[00:26:40] I agree so much, but I also feel like there's
[00:26:44] and I want to be nice, but I also get from sometimes seeing Liz's complaints.
[00:26:53] I be kind of looking at it kind of like.
[00:26:57] Is it given?
[00:26:59] Can I speak to the manager?
[00:27:01] It's like, I don't know.
[00:27:03] Oh, no.
[00:27:04] I don't like that.
[00:27:05] No, but I don't know with you, Bryce.
[00:27:08] But and also like what you said, jam with like Lauren and Jamie on your season.
[00:27:14] I don't know if it's a case that we're just not seeing the whole story.
[00:27:19] Oh, yeah.
[00:27:20] Like, you know what I mean?
[00:27:21] And so like when we're seeing her be so mad and so upset, like me as a viewer,
[00:27:26] I'm like, well, girl, I haven't seen anything.
[00:27:29] So it's like it's hard for me to put my tongue on the pole.
[00:27:37] Whoa, you're telling the pole.
[00:27:40] What? I've never I never heard that was a problem.
[00:27:45] I never heard you said that was a problem that Bryce had.
[00:27:49] Christ was searching for the most sexual analogy.
[00:27:52] Yeah, you just made that one up.
[00:27:55] It's only sexual because you thought it was when thank you.
[00:27:58] It's not that's not afraid.
[00:27:59] No, it's the first thing that dropped.
[00:28:02] That's what Bryce said at the challenge of their Hunter Hong backwards last week.
[00:28:07] No, but it's I don't know.
[00:28:10] But I like Liz and I like what she gives.
[00:28:12] But for me, it's like the way that her argument is and how strong she's going.
[00:28:16] I as a viewer that is just watching the show, I don't have enough
[00:28:21] justifications for it.
[00:28:22] So it's hard for me to like want to be on Liz's side.
[00:28:28] Yeah, exactly.
[00:28:29] I think the thing that we see in the preview,
[00:28:30] I think the thing that she's complaining about about this whole credit
[00:28:33] thing is not a justifiable reason.
[00:28:37] And we see it with other play like Tiff to
[00:28:40] I mean, obviously, I understand being upset with Q, right?
[00:28:43] But I think there becomes a point when you have to stop being like,
[00:28:46] oh, you ruined my game.
[00:28:47] My game's over because that's sort of like a self fulfilling prophecy.
[00:28:50] If you're just like, my game is in the in the shitter.
[00:28:53] Like you got to be like, like it's reasonable to be mad at Q.
[00:28:57] It's reasonable not to work with Q.
[00:28:58] But if you just go around telling everyone that your game's ruined,
[00:29:01] I think that kind of gives a bad perception about your game play.
[00:29:04] Now, I think this is a great player, but I'm just like in that's with Liz, too,
[00:29:08] is like when you're like, oh, you ruined my game.
[00:29:10] My game is shot.
[00:29:11] Everyone's going to go.
[00:29:13] They're saying their game is is bad.
[00:29:15] They're saying their game's over.
[00:29:17] Now, Jackery, you know, I mean, yeah, I've got a clock in for this one
[00:29:22] because I don't see the comparison with Tiffany.
[00:29:25] I don't because if anything, I feel like Tiffany of all people
[00:29:31] of this season had is the victim of being a great and loyal player
[00:29:38] to the point that like you've got people tanking your game
[00:29:43] because you're loyal and you now people are jumping ship.
[00:29:47] Now we got Kenzie like saying, well, shoot, it's it's
[00:29:52] if we if we're at the shooter, it's it's time to
[00:29:56] pull on Tiffany because like Tiffany's been playing a great game.
[00:30:02] Stella, that wasn't I wasn't a complaint about anything else about Tiffany's game.
[00:30:05] It's more so about like there's a certain level of when someone messes up your game
[00:30:10] like you can't just keep and this is this is more Liz because we see
[00:30:14] the happens next episode.
[00:30:15] It's more Liz.
[00:30:17] Well, but it's it's it's a to me.
[00:30:19] It's like at some point and maybe Tiff did the right amount of complaining,
[00:30:22] right? Maybe it seemed like she stopped.
[00:30:24] But it's sort of like at some point to be like, you know, it's the final nine.
[00:30:27] You're like, oh, my game is ruined.
[00:30:29] And you just kind of repeat that narrative for me.
[00:30:31] I'd be like, it's not ruined.
[00:30:33] You're still you're still here.
[00:30:34] Like you could but anyways, I want to isn't that category.
[00:30:38] I think it's like, yo, for a minute, I feel like she was.
[00:30:41] But you have the right to respond to someone actually putting your business
[00:30:45] way out there. And I think that's yeah, she was like that like because
[00:30:50] an idol on the low could be a game winning thing for her.
[00:30:54] But now it's out there to where she almost wants to burn.
[00:30:58] And so you can actually absolutely you have the right to respond to someone doing that.
[00:31:03] But I think Tiff is the person that responds and also starts playing.
[00:31:07] I don't think she's going to sit in the woe is me thing.
[00:31:09] Yeah, I don't think so either.
[00:31:10] That was just more of like a loose comparison of either like
[00:31:15] and it seems like she I mean, Tiff had a great episode.
[00:31:17] So that's why I don't I'm not going to harp on it.
[00:31:19] This but to me, it's just like there's only so much right like Liz next week.
[00:31:24] If she's talking, I assume this is her talking to Q about, hey,
[00:31:28] two votes ago you took the credit of my move, right?
[00:31:32] So, you know, three, four days later, you can't be like,
[00:31:35] woe is me, my game's ruined Q.
[00:31:37] You like you took my move, right?
[00:31:39] You have to move on.
[00:31:40] And so that's why I think Liz is really struggling.
[00:31:42] But back to what Jam Jam was saying too about Liz and this again,
[00:31:46] I think Liz in this episode is an example of an issue that a lot of players
[00:31:51] this season are having is that people are making moves,
[00:31:54] but the moves a lot of time are taking out your own ally.
[00:31:57] And because because it works for everybody else, they're down.
[00:32:02] But that doesn't really mean you like masterfully orchestrated to move
[00:32:05] just because you are blindsided or closest or one of your closer allies
[00:32:09] when it didn't make sense for you, right?
[00:32:10] Like I think this week, Kenzie wanting to target Tiff
[00:32:14] didn't make any sense.
[00:32:15] Like it could have been a good blindside from a blindside standpoint,
[00:32:19] but from a strategic standpoint, I don't understand everyone in the season
[00:32:22] seems to have an obsession with taking out their closest ally
[00:32:26] other than maybe like a Maria and a Charlie or a Hunter and a Tevin.
[00:32:30] But it's like at the final nine, the final 10, the final 11,
[00:32:34] you need to have people around you that are going to stick with you,
[00:32:37] not make moves on your allies just because they're threats, you know?
[00:32:40] But Kenzie's been doing that since they were at the annual.
[00:32:43] You can see did it way early when she went to Jess and Bano
[00:32:48] and she was like, let's take Tiffany and he was out.
[00:32:51] And then Bano and Jess were like went to the other two and they were like,
[00:32:55] can she's going after you?
[00:32:57] She's been doing it.
[00:32:59] It I guess is her idea of how she should play the game.
[00:33:05] And maybe she planned that when she was going to Fiji to play
[00:33:09] and that's what I'm going to do.
[00:33:10] And this is what I'm going to do.
[00:33:11] I mean, I think she's a great player, but sometimes you need to
[00:33:14] like control yourself and know who you're saying it to, how many people
[00:33:19] test the water out, don't say it to three people at a time
[00:33:22] that don't have anything going on together.
[00:33:24] Because, you know, one of them is going to go to the extra person
[00:33:26] and talk to the other person because the other two already know
[00:33:29] and you want your ally to know and then the other ally
[00:33:31] have more friends on the other side.
[00:33:32] Yeah, I think if she was going to do it, she needed to tip it
[00:33:36] to with somebody that was going to commit to it making it work
[00:33:42] and not throwing it out there in front of three people.
[00:33:44] You need to like, you know, you test the waters, you know?
[00:33:47] Because in front of three people, everybody was going to go like, yes.
[00:33:52] Nobody's going to tell her, wait a minute, are you sure?
[00:33:56] Let's figure it out.
[00:33:56] Let's count the things.
[00:33:57] Let's like play it out.
[00:33:59] So yeah, she's got a little excited and it would have been
[00:34:03] not really cool to watch, but I don't think it would have.
[00:34:06] I don't think she did it the right way.
[00:34:08] I think Kenzie is an awesome character.
[00:34:11] I think I think she's a very solid survivor player.
[00:34:16] I do. I do see some cracks in that, like sometimes she keeps it funky with people
[00:34:20] and like instead of just being fake with them,
[00:34:24] like in this episode, like I think whatever she said with Q
[00:34:27] was just like, bro, like get out of here.
[00:34:29] You know, it's like she didn't even give him the time of the day.
[00:34:32] And it's like, man, if you're just fake with this man,
[00:34:35] then at the end he won't remember that one.
[00:34:38] He might not.
[00:34:39] Yeah, conversation, but I say all that to say when I say I think
[00:34:42] Kenzie is an awesome character because she does bring that to the table
[00:34:46] and like her eye rolls or her like snide remarks.
[00:34:48] It's like she's one of these characters that I don't want to call her a villain,
[00:34:53] but there's something like like something.
[00:34:57] Yeah, yeah, I enjoy it.
[00:35:00] And the way she narrates and her phrases, I'm sorry, are like super fun
[00:35:04] and super memorable.
[00:35:06] Sorry, Bryce. No, no, right.
[00:35:07] I agree with you, Jam.
[00:35:08] And I agree with you, Wendell, but also it's so interesting, right?
[00:35:11] Because I first of all, I won.
[00:35:15] Well, I mean, she is my winter pitch,
[00:35:17] but I want blood for Kenzie for doing what you did to Tiffany, right?
[00:35:22] So, Kenzie, you not off the hook.
[00:35:24] Spicy, bricey is going to clock in.
[00:35:27] However, this is why I kind of respect Kenzie
[00:35:32] after that tribal last week and we see how chaotic everything is.
[00:35:42] I wonder if Kenzie is looking at herself and looking at everyone like,
[00:35:45] well, there's a possibility that like you might be on the jury or you might be
[00:35:49] at the end and it's like maybe I actually need to make a move
[00:35:55] to differentiate myself.
[00:35:56] And so like when she said to vote Tiffany, I said,
[00:36:02] what? But also, in my opinion,
[00:36:06] that's like a move of like a cold, blooded, drank, still killer.
[00:36:12] And I'm like maybe maybe outside of my
[00:36:17] it's a look of her pose and how she look.
[00:36:20] I'm like maybe Kenzie has, I don't know, that that just says something to me.
[00:36:25] And again, it's like you could look at it like, girl, what you doing?
[00:36:28] But also it's like E or B in and if that's what I got to do,
[00:36:34] I would love to know, Jam, what do you think of the comparison?
[00:36:38] Or what would how would you compare the Tinka three to the Yanuta?
[00:36:44] The Tiga three is way superior.
[00:36:50] I mean, the Yanuta three are not Yanuta three anymore.
[00:36:53] The Tiga three were Tiga three to be in.
[00:36:54] And I know at the end they made it look like I want to tell you now
[00:36:57] I was just playing the idea around because I know Caroline is way more logical
[00:37:02] than what she was showing during the game.
[00:37:04] But on the thing with I let you through me, I was like,
[00:37:09] I'm going to say this when he's done at the U of the Tiga three.
[00:37:12] And I'm like, so
[00:37:16] I am the thing with the ticket three is like we were always working
[00:37:21] together behind the scenes and nobody knew we were playing behind the scenes.
[00:37:26] And that's what I think we were such a good trio.
[00:37:29] Everybody thought Caroline and I were always fighting.
[00:37:32] Everybody thought Carson was rerouted because he switched to Ratu.
[00:37:37] And we were always letting people have their show, the two groups.
[00:37:42] And then we were jumping to what was benefiting us.
[00:37:47] And that's why we got to the end.
[00:37:48] I don't think Yanu is working that coherent together.
[00:37:51] I mean, it's obvious like the girls hate you.
[00:37:54] Can't see one Tiffany out.
[00:37:56] I think the only one that wanted to work with everybody is Tiffany.
[00:38:00] And I was going to say something about can see like doing this move.
[00:38:03] This move, like when you betray your like your ally and it's like good moving,
[00:38:07] it's to be like when Jesse got Cody out, right?
[00:38:10] It's like right at the end, you have your backup plan,
[00:38:14] you know, you're almost to the end because if you do this too early,
[00:38:17] like you betray your closest ally too early, you know what's going to happen next?
[00:38:22] Everybody's going to go you out because it was a great move.
[00:38:25] And you betray your ally.
[00:38:26] Nobody trusts you.
[00:38:28] But how did that work out for Jesse?
[00:38:32] Jesse lost fire.
[00:38:33] Did he? Yeah.
[00:38:36] Yeah, he wasn't voted out.
[00:38:38] So. So if you do that move, make sure you know,
[00:38:42] if you go out to make fire or win immunity.
[00:38:45] No, but he didn't really close to the end.
[00:38:47] Like there were not a lot of numbers to backfire.
[00:38:50] Exactly. That's what I'm trying to say.
[00:38:51] I totally agree.
[00:38:52] I think that's sort of big move against an ally that could beat you at the end.
[00:38:56] That has to happen a little bit later.
[00:38:57] So I think Kenzie is a great player.
[00:38:59] I think she's almost a little bit too eager to make these big moves,
[00:39:02] but she's been building great social bonds.
[00:39:04] But I mean, I think the Tiffany Blond side, it's a little bit early.
[00:39:08] That's that's someone you've been pretty locked in with.
[00:39:10] And she's a good player too.
[00:39:11] Like they've been in a great position.
[00:39:13] So turning on your ally, you know, could lead to some trouble.
[00:39:16] And then even when they find out that Tiffany has an idol
[00:39:18] that she's buying to play and they want to go for, I guess, Hunter,
[00:39:23] she's like, oh, that's just like she's like, that's just boring.
[00:39:26] Like I don't want to do something boring.
[00:39:27] And sometimes the boring move is the right move.
[00:39:30] And so I think that's a valuable lesson.
[00:39:32] I think that's a lesson a lot of players this season could potentially learn.
[00:39:35] But sometimes that straightforward move is good.
[00:39:37] And sometimes in the same vein, it's like if someone else has a plan
[00:39:41] that they want to launch and it's the plan that you wanted to do anyways,
[00:39:44] you could be like, yeah, that works for me.
[00:39:46] Like I don't need to spearhead every move that I make.
[00:39:49] Like that's that's how you build too big of a resume.
[00:39:51] It's where it's going to take you out.
[00:39:53] But before we get into all that strategy talk for the for the vote out,
[00:39:58] we have a challenge.
[00:40:00] They split into three groups of three.
[00:40:02] I like that this time there's not any losing of the votes or anything like that.
[00:40:06] It's just a straightforward, like three stage challenge.
[00:40:09] And they get to pick their groups.
[00:40:11] That the group selection was pretty interesting where
[00:40:15] Kenzie and Tiff wanted to pair up and then Ben's like,
[00:40:18] you guys want to rock out together?
[00:40:20] And they're like, let's let's rock out.
[00:40:22] Hunters like I haven't worked with Charlie and Maria yet.
[00:40:25] Like it would be fun to do a challenge with them.
[00:40:27] And then Q, Venus and Liz are just kind of like the leftover three.
[00:40:32] And it's not really a secret that they're the leftovers, right?
[00:40:37] They get to the challenge.
[00:40:39] Not only do some of the castaways like Tiffany, for example, say like,
[00:40:43] yeah, I want to avoid pairing up with that chaos.
[00:40:46] That is Q and she just calls it out.
[00:40:49] Then Jeff adds on and says, you know, I'm going to go out of my way and say,
[00:40:52] Q, Q, Venus and Liz, you guys are going to be the first ones out,
[00:40:59] which we've I don't think we've ever seen Jeff just openly antagonize.
[00:41:03] I kind of loved it, especially because he ended up being wrong.
[00:41:06] But I've never heard Jeff be like, yeah, you're not good at this.
[00:41:11] It's kind of crazy.
[00:41:13] Well, I mean, what do we make of that?
[00:41:15] I think Jeff is forgetting that he is out there and beachy hosting a show.
[00:41:19] I think Jeff be thinking he's at home in front of that wooden fireplace.
[00:41:23] And he's like watching the edit.
[00:41:27] He's like, thank you, lose suckers.
[00:41:30] Like I want to cut Jeff real.
[00:41:35] OK, I'd have been like, excuse me, Jeffrey.
[00:41:40] Come do it yourself.
[00:41:43] Jeff is at a point where he don't like he's like,
[00:41:46] I'm going to say and do what I want.
[00:41:48] OK, and I think that.
[00:41:52] You know, he has made it clear that he's not casting
[00:41:55] like like our historic villain type players, right?
[00:41:58] Now we know why.
[00:42:00] Jeff can add the sauce.
[00:42:03] Jeff can be the spicy Jeff and it's and it's entertaining.
[00:42:06] It's interesting. I don't mind him talking his trash.
[00:42:08] I'm like, yeah.
[00:42:10] I would have hate that he never did that with you.
[00:42:13] But no, right?
[00:42:14] Like he did it like was like that, like rooting against other people.
[00:42:18] No, I haven't.
[00:42:20] I would have for him.
[00:42:21] Here's the thing.
[00:42:22] I'm I like I like messy and I like a party and I like, you know,
[00:42:26] having fun and being spicy and all of that and staying shed and laughing
[00:42:29] and turning around and going like, I got you love that shit.
[00:42:33] But in a game of rules that Jeff is like the referee,
[00:42:37] like the top man, the one that calls the last shot, the one that does
[00:42:40] like everybody goes like, I'm Jeff, I'm Jeff, I'm Jeff.
[00:42:43] And he says that like no way.
[00:42:46] No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[00:42:48] I complain too much when I was playing.
[00:42:50] So I would have been like, that's not OK.
[00:42:53] I have something to say about that, jam.
[00:42:54] You know what? Now that you said that, I think there's something to that
[00:42:59] because there are some people that you could talk trash to them.
[00:43:03] And they're going to play harder and better.
[00:43:04] And like, I I know in sports, like that happens a lot.
[00:43:08] Like people talk trash like, all right, let's go, let's get it.
[00:43:11] And I think if you talk to a queue like that, you got to have a hard.
[00:43:15] But I don't think everyone is from that cloth.
[00:43:18] So I don't know what it would do to a Venus or to a Liz.
[00:43:22] So yeah, if the host executive producer top dog El Presidente,
[00:43:28] that guy is like, yo, y'all about to lose.
[00:43:32] It's like, come on, man.
[00:43:35] Like you see us.
[00:43:36] What why you got to do is like that?
[00:43:38] Maybe that's why they go popcorn.
[00:43:40] Right. Well, first of all, Jeff, you see last tribal.
[00:43:44] Why would you?
[00:43:45] Why would you do that?
[00:43:46] But what I do love about this spicy jet, though, in the new era
[00:43:52] is we get to have legends like Jalinsky because if we didn't get
[00:43:58] such a spicy Jeff, yeah, I don't think the Jalinsky several
[00:44:03] would hit as much.
[00:44:05] And if you have not already,
[00:44:09] do yourself a favor.
[00:44:10] I discovered Jalinsky's tick tock.
[00:44:13] Tick tock.
[00:44:15] Are you going to talk about a couple hours?
[00:44:19] A couple hours because Jalinsky is revolutionizing the game.
[00:44:23] I discovered Jalinsky's tick tock to Jay.
[00:44:25] Do yourself a favor.
[00:44:27] Go over there. Follow Jalinsky.
[00:44:28] Let him know Purple Pants podcast, Survival News sent you.
[00:44:31] But Jalinsky is essentially saying
[00:44:33] so you don't know several hours, right?
[00:44:37] You know, allegedly that means seven hours, right?
[00:44:41] How many hours do you think is a couple hours?
[00:44:47] Two.
[00:44:48] OK, Wendy Z.
[00:44:51] Two ish.
[00:44:52] Jack, not according to not according to not according to
[00:44:56] I was there for the origin of this idea.
[00:44:59] We were playing Fortnite with Carla and Charlie Davis.
[00:45:03] That's a squad right there.
[00:45:05] Joinsky goes, guys, how long do you guys think a couple hours is?
[00:45:09] And we're all like two hours, a couple is two.
[00:45:12] He's like, get this, it's four hours.
[00:45:16] I was like, he was like, he was like a couple is two,
[00:45:20] but ours is plural.
[00:45:22] And so that means two times two equals four.
[00:45:24] And we were like, Joinsky.
[00:45:26] He's a good person alive.
[00:45:27] I was like, Joinsky out like, what?
[00:45:30] That doesn't make any sense.
[00:45:32] I'm like, anything you add an S to anything that's a couple is going to have an S.
[00:45:36] A couple. You say a couple hour.
[00:45:39] Yeah, I don't know.
[00:45:41] Sixteen minutes.
[00:45:42] But yeah, exactly.
[00:45:45] It's like a couple minutes would not be four minutes.
[00:45:47] Like a couple shoes would not be.
[00:45:50] Oh, I mean, a couple shoes would.
[00:45:53] Well, that's a bad example.
[00:45:55] They come in pairs.
[00:45:56] A couple of shoes would be four pairs of shoes or two pairs.
[00:46:01] The two pairs of shoes.
[00:46:02] A couple pairs.
[00:46:04] We have the shoes as bad example.
[00:46:06] Yeah, a couple, a couple of a couple of mangoes would not be four mangoes.
[00:46:11] Right.
[00:46:11] The patos would be.
[00:46:15] That's a different semantical.
[00:46:18] The patos I got.
[00:46:19] I got that.
[00:46:20] The patos.
[00:46:22] It means you.
[00:46:23] How I say it, Jim.
[00:46:26] The patos.
[00:46:28] Which is sounds cool because it's actually zapato, but zapatoes have posts in it.
[00:46:34] It's like the Linsky math right there with your words and your.
[00:46:38] He's the gift that keeps giving.
[00:46:40] Oh, I love it.
[00:46:41] He is spicy or his chit-chak like last week with Q.
[00:46:45] He has some gangster music playing.
[00:46:48] He was how was I was dying.
[00:46:51] So go over there to Tixxac and shout out to Jelinski.
[00:46:54] Sorry.
[00:46:55] But anyway, yeah.
[00:46:57] So then we get a I totally agree that I like I like the spicy Jeff like
[00:47:01] whether you agree or disagree.
[00:47:03] Yeah, if I was a player out there, I'd be like, Dave, Jeff, you're you're
[00:47:06] rude against me like what?
[00:47:09] Jeff is spicy.
[00:47:11] Jeff will get it down, let you know, mess a little bit with your head.
[00:47:15] Have fun with it, especially more towards the end.
[00:47:18] He's like more like, you know, when they were setting the challenges on or whatever,
[00:47:22] he would like let you know a little bit of himself.
[00:47:26] But regarding games and challenges, that's a whole nother thing in my head.
[00:47:32] I remember when I was like talking to Jeff one day and I was like,
[00:47:35] you know, those big challenges with a lot of stations like Superlong
[00:47:38] and we were he's the one that reviews the challenges and he goes
[00:47:41] little station by station because he wants everybody to hear the same
[00:47:43] explanation, right?
[00:47:45] Which is fair.
[00:47:46] And that's my whole thing with the first thing.
[00:47:48] But he goes like explain the whole thing and then we're walking back.
[00:47:50] It takes like five minutes to walk back to the mad.
[00:47:53] And I like have my little fan moment and I go like, so Jeff, right?
[00:47:57] I was like, Jeff, oh my God.
[00:47:59] I was like, Jeff, don't you get tired of being like so intense all the time?
[00:48:04] Because he's like, oh, guys, what's wrong with his veins?
[00:48:07] You know, and I go, he goes like, well, yeah, don't you get the same way?
[00:48:13] Right?
[00:48:14] I was like, oh my God.
[00:48:16] You know, so he like would let me know that it was a little intense to
[00:48:20] you know, it was like a little a lot.
[00:48:22] I was a lot during my season.
[00:48:24] But you know, I know it's not as spicy in my head.
[00:48:27] That was spicy.
[00:48:28] But the thing is like he will let his persona known without, you know,
[00:48:32] what's going on.
[00:48:33] And I love that.
[00:48:34] I love that.
[00:48:35] But don't say I'm gonna lose.
[00:48:36] Can you do some more Jeff voices for us?
[00:48:38] Yes.
[00:48:42] I ate him.
[00:48:43] Oh, I precious felt this thing.
[00:48:45] What you say?
[00:48:46] Wait, I'm the big screen.
[00:48:47] Why am I being now?
[00:48:49] Like this button.
[00:48:51] Give us something.
[00:48:53] Well, I was like, I don't know.
[00:48:57] The question of Jeff, of Jeff sitting on a pillow and giving out popcorn.
[00:49:03] Or how would Jeff say Zapatos?
[00:49:06] Zapatos.
[00:49:07] Here's the thing with the caution cushion, though that if you go back to my season,
[00:49:13] Jeff's tool was a hide at the first episode.
[00:49:16] And then as the season went along, it would get higher and higher and higher
[00:49:21] and higher, they would start putting like pieces of wood so he would
[00:49:25] maybe his bag or maybe he wanted to look taller.
[00:49:28] I don't know.
[00:49:29] But you hit the head on the nail.
[00:49:33] Y'all y'all be everyone at work has that seasoned co-worker who
[00:49:44] they can't sit at a regular chair, right?
[00:49:46] They got that little like down in the chair that they put that like
[00:49:51] are there that was spicy Jeff trying to make a moment.
[00:49:55] But he needed that for his back.
[00:49:57] Was just fine.
[00:49:58] He needed a little cushion.
[00:49:59] It was like, this is my moment.
[00:50:01] So people don't like burn me because I'm putting a cushion on those tools.
[00:50:05] I have my stool, I bought my stool that I had what I think it is around here.
[00:50:09] I will.
[00:50:10] I wish I had it in the room so I could show it.
[00:50:12] These are hard.
[00:50:13] They're horrible.
[00:50:14] Yeah.
[00:50:16] I got that wrong with you now.
[00:50:18] Love.
[00:50:21] I'm going to figure out what in person I'm going to make at a later moment.
[00:50:25] Feel free to jump in with it whenever.
[00:50:28] Jeff, Jeff, Jeff with a Y.
[00:50:31] But so we get into the challenge.
[00:50:36] But that is it.
[00:50:38] That's how you pronounce with a Y everything.
[00:50:41] Yeah.
[00:50:43] And so we did a challenge.
[00:50:46] Jeff, the first station is balance beams.
[00:50:48] Kenzie struggles on the beams and her team loses along with
[00:50:52] Tiffany and Ben.
[00:50:53] So Jeff is immediately wrong about who's going out first.
[00:50:58] The next one is the rope bridge.
[00:50:59] And then they got to shoot balls onto these these little ring hoops.
[00:51:04] How would you do Jack with shooting balls onto a little ring hoop?
[00:51:08] I think I do pretty well.
[00:51:09] I was actually while we were watching, I was wondering the lowest
[00:51:12] wrong if I would be tall enough to just jump up and put it on there
[00:51:15] because it didn't look that high up.
[00:51:18] Yeah, Jeff is 10.
[00:51:20] He'll just like sit them all up there.
[00:51:22] How would you do jam putting the balls in the.
[00:51:25] Oh, God, the hoop.
[00:51:28] With the right words and the right lighting.
[00:51:30] Amazing.
[00:51:34] Wendy, we know you have a lot of experience with balls and hoops.
[00:51:38] How would you do managing all that rope and putting?
[00:51:42] Would you be able to put up the balls in the hole?
[00:51:46] Um,
[00:51:48] that's on a hunter hoodie.
[00:51:49] It's that.
[00:51:50] What is the word?
[00:51:54] How you did?
[00:51:55] I smoked them.
[00:51:56] It was that.
[00:51:57] Is that the end puzzle that I couldn't do it?
[00:51:59] That that ball in the whole puzzle that I think you should.
[00:52:04] It's more advice.
[00:52:05] Was that what does the one you have to come back like your opportunity to come back?
[00:52:10] Yes, potential to come back to you.
[00:52:14] You know what?
[00:52:17] He made a blanket on on edge of extinction.
[00:52:20] That's all that matters.
[00:52:21] He had a lot of time.
[00:52:23] Yeah, a lot of time.
[00:52:24] I'm going to send it to you, Jam.
[00:52:26] You could have it.
[00:52:28] I would love it.
[00:52:29] Oh my God.
[00:52:30] Have the whole I have a whole crate from the edge of extinction with all of my
[00:52:34] stuff in it that I wrapped in plastic in the airport and shipped home.
[00:52:38] And I still haven't opened that thing.
[00:52:40] Now are you going to open?
[00:52:41] Oh my God.
[00:52:42] I don't know, but it has my sneakers in it, which are my
[00:52:45] cobs that I wore out there.
[00:52:46] So I need those, but everything else can go.
[00:52:49] And that's how you're doing it.
[00:52:50] Sandra told me like wash your clothes, everything.
[00:52:53] I was like, oh, what is this?
[00:52:54] Mel and everything.
[00:52:55] I was like, no, it gets mold.
[00:52:57] Watch it.
[00:52:57] Don't be dirty.
[00:52:59] Yeah, I still I haven't washed my anything from survivor.
[00:53:03] But see, Bryce, yours was really clean.
[00:53:08] Damn.
[00:53:08] Wash your face before you got home.
[00:53:13] That was a good one.
[00:53:15] Can I tell you a secret when DZ?
[00:53:18] Yes.
[00:53:19] You know, every time I come over your house, you know, I'll be like
[00:53:21] taking a little bit of the plastic off of that thing every time I come over.
[00:53:26] The plastic off who?
[00:53:27] What is his box?
[00:53:29] He has this box from Ghost Island.
[00:53:31] I mean, from Winners at War.
[00:53:33] That's like wrapped up in like
[00:53:35] something like that.
[00:53:36] Airport plastic and you take a little bit off.
[00:53:40] Take a little bit off the top every time I come over.
[00:53:42] Just so eventually he has to go in there.
[00:53:45] Eventually it's going to be open.
[00:53:46] I'll be like, what happened?
[00:53:47] And yeah, you move things around the last
[00:53:50] hour's over.
[00:53:51] I was coming at you.
[00:53:53] What are you doing in there?
[00:53:55] Little awkward thing with the blanket on us of extension.
[00:53:59] Our final two or three days was on edge of extension.
[00:54:02] Our like in the new camp that island is freaking cold.
[00:54:06] The wind like blows right in it, like the logs would last only a few hours.
[00:54:11] It was horrible.
[00:54:13] And I was like, is this where they were living?
[00:54:15] They would not tell us until the last day that was like
[00:54:17] edge of extension.
[00:54:18] It was so cold, so bad.
[00:54:20] So of course that blanket would have been amazing.
[00:54:22] We took the tarp and we covered with the tarp,
[00:54:24] but it was horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible.
[00:54:27] The wind, the wind right in it.
[00:54:30] That it's like a little triangle and where the man grew.
[00:54:34] They have like a little like where you're supposed to be.
[00:54:36] You're not supposed to be there, but that's like where they
[00:54:38] like set everything and then you're like, what are we all here?
[00:54:42] And the wind just came through the hallway like right through the night.
[00:54:45] It was like it was like an alley of like a like a wind turbine or something.
[00:54:50] It was like, dude, it was so bad, bad.
[00:54:55] And then we cannot touch each other because you know of some season
[00:54:58] so we could not get warm with each other and horrible, horrible, horrible.
[00:55:04] Yeah.
[00:55:06] So back to the challenge.
[00:55:09] Q's team now it struggles with the shooting portion.
[00:55:18] And so Charlie, Hunter and Maria move on to the final three face off,
[00:55:23] which is sort of the classic survivor like crucifix situation almost
[00:55:29] with the cross you got to hold on back against.
[00:55:31] And I think they made it harder.
[00:55:32] I forget exactly what Jeff said, but I think he said
[00:55:34] you can't really take your back off of the pole.
[00:55:36] You can't like crouch down.
[00:55:38] So you really got to just like hold the position and it goes for about 10 minutes.
[00:55:43] And Charlie outlasts Hunter and pulls out a big win.
[00:55:49] I also like Hunter is definitely watching
[00:55:53] survivor news because you heard him up there.
[00:55:55] He says something about it's like the Hunter versus the Hunty
[00:56:02] when he was standing on there and you can best believe that I am
[00:56:07] the Hunty.
[00:56:13] plural, Hunties.
[00:56:14] You need another Hunties.
[00:56:16] Huntie.
[00:56:17] Is that for that?
[00:56:19] Hunties.
[00:56:20] OK, I'm not a hunty.
[00:56:22] So it's all you are.
[00:56:24] Window for sure is a hunty.
[00:56:25] He's in here.
[00:56:26] Hunter, come get your doves.
[00:56:29] The only thing I will say, Bryce, is
[00:56:37] I'm more like a 30.
[00:56:39] I'm more like a 30.
[00:56:42] Yeah, but he got mad and Bryce on a podcast together.
[00:56:45] This is bad.
[00:56:46] Yes, Hunter.
[00:56:48] OK, you kind of turkey in the dog.
[00:56:56] Oh, it's all right.
[00:56:57] Oh, it's all right.
[00:56:59] Oh, it's all right.
[00:57:01] He left.
[00:57:07] Oh, my God, this is going to be like a real promo.
[00:57:10] I know it.
[00:57:16] Oh, my God.
[00:57:19] OK, sorry.
[00:57:20] What are you all talking about?
[00:57:22] There you go.
[00:57:23] There you go.
[00:57:24] Get him in.
[00:57:25] You want it?
[00:57:27] He's definitely a pigeon.
[00:57:29] Now, my only question is, did you say a hunter watches
[00:57:33] Survivor News so he knew that you were a dove?
[00:57:36] And that's why he said it on the show that he recorded eight months ago
[00:57:40] because he's seen it in the basement.
[00:57:45] He's seen it in the basement.
[00:57:47] You know, he has a basement and he goes watch the river there.
[00:57:51] He puts us on the background while he builds those puzzles.
[00:57:55] I want to say, first of all, us being at Chicago State
[00:57:59] University and it being a PBI
[00:58:04] What's a PBI?
[00:58:05] Peronally Black Institution
[00:58:08] and watching with a bunch of
[00:58:12] black students that have never seen Survivor and
[00:58:17] one because, first of all, like we've all I've watched Survivor with jam.
[00:58:21] I watched Survivor with Jack.
[00:58:22] I watched Survivor with Wendell.
[00:58:23] Y'all know how I am when I watch Survivor.
[00:58:25] I got to turn the ask questions.
[00:58:27] I'm like, what's happening?
[00:58:28] And so me, first of all,
[00:58:31] I don't know how I got back there with the track and the basketball squad.
[00:58:37] But I was there.
[00:58:39] You don't know.
[00:58:40] You don't know.
[00:58:42] It was just a coincidence.
[00:58:44] Oh, oh, oh, but also Jack, wait, sidebar, Jack, we almost had a moment.
[00:58:51] So Wendell and I are hosting and we're like talking to the audience
[00:58:56] and we like kick off a video to Jeff and Jeff is like shouting us out.
[00:58:59] Then we go back to our seats that we saved, Jack.
[00:59:03] Yeah. Oh, Jack, let me do.
[00:59:08] I have PTSD from this week jam in New Orleans at the R half event.
[00:59:14] We had an incident where someone sat in Bryce's seat over Bruce.
[00:59:20] So me and Jack sat down, we're like, oh, Bruce took Bryce's seat.
[00:59:24] We can't do nothing about it.
[00:59:25] Because Bruce, at that point, you can't say nothing to Bruce.
[00:59:28] He was with he was with the cast to and he was last seat.
[00:59:33] So Bryce sat elsewhere and he was mad at me the whole night.
[00:59:38] He was human, so mad at me.
[00:59:40] And we should have just got up and sat with Bryce, right?
[00:59:42] So now after we're on stage and we do our little whatever and we come down,
[00:59:47] I noticed somebody isn't and we put two Q-skirts to save our seats.
[00:59:52] Similarly to New Orleans.
[00:59:57] We're past New Orleans, but what's funny though is I am back there
[01:00:03] with the basketball and the track team and throughout the episode.
[01:00:09] When it's like, are you OK?
[01:00:14] Do you want some?
[01:00:15] I got some cookies.
[01:00:16] Do you want some?
[01:00:18] You want to do? I'm like, I'm good.
[01:00:20] But I'm great.
[01:00:23] Of course.
[01:00:24] So I'm back there with the basketball and the track squad.
[01:00:27] And again, what I find so amazing is people that have never really watched
[01:00:31] Survivor.
[01:00:34] I love the fact that being in an audience with Survivor fans, like one,
[01:00:40] they're automatically like, what the hell are they sharing at the screen?
[01:00:44] And then it's like because it's the basketball squad and stuff,
[01:00:47] like at this challenge, they like I could walk across a balance beam.
[01:00:53] And I'm like, oh, really?
[01:00:56] Then they like, I can hold the ball.
[01:00:58] But I was dying when it got to the end and they started showing the toes.
[01:01:04] Like there was like, oh, no, no, like, count us out.
[01:01:07] Count us out.
[01:01:08] But again, shout out to Chicago State, Chicago State University
[01:01:14] and all of the students that came because.
[01:01:17] The interest after the show and after everything was a thousand percent there.
[01:01:23] And I think what is more important with the Survivor initiative,
[01:01:27] the diversity initiative, it's like, and one, there were some characters
[01:01:31] and funny people in this life. They like, I could do this.
[01:01:33] I'm like, oh, you first of all, I've heard from the Jeff.
[01:01:36] So you think you can do it?
[01:01:38] GBS.com and casting.
[01:01:40] We want to see you like you could tell me I wasn't Jeff
[01:01:43] because the way that I was like telling these people to like, y'all would be great.
[01:01:46] But it was just funny seeing clearly these athletic students.
[01:01:52] But like seeing a challenge like that ain't nothing like.
[01:01:55] But OK, but do that out there for 13 days.
[01:01:59] No, pooping in. Oh, that was another thing.
[01:02:02] They could not take aqua dumping.
[01:02:04] And you know, I had to explain a good old aqua dump.
[01:02:07] And they was like, so you poop in the water
[01:02:11] that you eat the fish out of.
[01:02:15] It was an ocean.
[01:02:18] I was like, yeah, there was like sometimes you got to dodge them.
[01:02:21] Like.
[01:02:24] First of all, what dumps were you?
[01:02:27] Not when you're dodging his own dumps.
[01:02:29] Boop. Boop. Boop.
[01:02:34] Rice was out there so short he didn't even have to take it back with them.
[01:02:37] You right, though. I tried, though.
[01:02:38] I really did. I wanted to experience.
[01:02:41] I was so mad. My body.
[01:02:43] You can still aqua dump anywhere.
[01:02:46] Well, that is true.
[01:02:49] I got it. I've done it.
[01:02:50] I've done it after.
[01:02:54] OK, wait, there's a lot to unpack here. Time out.
[01:02:57] How do you know that?
[01:03:00] What's up? How do you know that it's fun?
[01:03:03] No, I was going to say it was it's fun that you've hosted this event
[01:03:07] and maybe not.
[01:03:10] What's up?
[01:03:11] No, I've never been there.
[01:03:13] Oh, Jack, a posse.
[01:03:16] Get that timestamp that Jack said that because we know what he said.
[01:03:19] Now wait now.
[01:03:21] Paul, I'm sure it is fun.
[01:03:22] That's all I was saying, but I would love I would love to have the privilege
[01:03:25] of aqua dumping. OK, pause you on that.
[01:03:28] Jamil, when is the last time that you aqua dumped?
[01:03:31] I aqua dumped.
[01:03:32] We came back in July first and.
[01:03:36] I have got them twice like when we came back like August and maybe September.
[01:03:40] Here's the thing in Puerto Rico, you have beaches of this in the hotel areas,
[01:03:43] but you also have beaches like are very, very far away.
[01:03:47] So.
[01:03:49] Before I would like, you know, keep it in.
[01:03:51] I was like, I've done this.
[01:03:53] I've done it.
[01:03:54] I don't need to like I'm sorry, Wendell, but you don't need like to be
[01:03:58] like if it makes you feel better, I would go into the deep
[01:04:02] and go on. Nobody knows.
[01:04:03] Nobody knows some poor little person or a town in Puerto Rico.
[01:04:10] Swimming.
[01:04:11] Oh, shit.
[01:04:15] They said, oh.
[01:04:18] Is that a fish?
[01:04:21] Is that a chocolate brown trout?
[01:04:24] Oh, who put this Hershey bar here?
[01:04:28] You guys are from the city.
[01:04:29] You don't get it.
[01:04:30] I also did it when I was a little kid and my teens.
[01:04:33] Like that's like it's not common.
[01:04:36] I'm not going to say that everybody does it, but yeah.
[01:04:40] Yeah.
[01:04:41] Why suffer when you can act with them?
[01:04:45] I'm not mad.
[01:04:46] I was going to say it's cool that hosting this.
[01:04:49] It's always so fun seeing a new like a friend watch
[01:04:52] survive for the first time and have all these reactions.
[01:04:54] But it's cool that you're showing at a PBI
[01:04:58] and kids are getting into it.
[01:05:00] It's like maybe what a story would be like one of those kids went
[01:05:02] on one day and they're like, I first watched it at the Bryson
[01:05:05] when the hosted event.
[01:05:08] I'm hoping that that that shakes out.
[01:05:11] But what's crazy, Jack, is that afterwards they had two
[01:05:17] media communications majors sitting up there
[01:05:20] and there was a panel discussion.
[01:05:22] They asked Bryce, myself and Jatia about, you know,
[01:05:25] just what's been going on in the diversity initiative
[01:05:27] and those things.
[01:05:28] And the one guy, I believe his name's Pierce.
[01:05:33] He then he came to our event yesterday
[01:05:36] and was in there like really enjoying the stuff.
[01:05:39] And I'm looking at this guy.
[01:05:41] I'm like, man, like you would be good out there.
[01:05:44] So can I?
[01:05:46] All right, I'll tell you our secret.
[01:05:50] So again, he was having so much fun at the party.
[01:05:52] But first he was like by himself
[01:05:54] and he didn't kind of like, you know, and so I was like,
[01:05:57] one thing at a Bryson win event, you can come by yourself
[01:05:59] but you're going to leave with friends.
[01:06:01] I found him a tribe.
[01:06:03] I thought you were going to say you can come alone
[01:06:06] and leave with Bryce.
[01:06:09] But you were going to say that.
[01:06:11] No, no.
[01:06:13] No, no.
[01:06:16] So I found him a tribe.
[01:06:20] And by the end of the night.
[01:06:25] Pierce was too cool.
[01:06:26] Pierce was like he was up in there.
[01:06:29] And so I have this guilty like.
[01:06:32] So then in his tribe, Kenan's friend was his tribe.
[01:06:36] And so like they actually like one of them
[01:06:38] say that they were in the same fraternity or something.
[01:06:40] But anyway, because he was hanging with us so much
[01:06:44] and people was like, who is that?
[01:06:45] And I was like.
[01:06:48] Thirty seven.
[01:06:49] And so seven.
[01:06:51] Forty seven. I'll say forty seven.
[01:06:53] And so.
[01:06:54] You're a lion.
[01:06:55] For you.
[01:06:56] Did you say David?
[01:06:57] I.
[01:07:02] Jake, did you say David first?
[01:07:04] Goliath Goliath.
[01:07:06] Oh, I thought you said Seas of forty seven.
[01:07:08] David first Goliath.
[01:07:09] Thirty seven.
[01:07:11] Yes. Which one?
[01:07:12] No, that's not even either.
[01:07:14] Oh, he's back in the back.
[01:07:15] Wait, I have a better picture of him.
[01:07:16] But my Jew.
[01:07:17] So I started telling people people were asking me
[01:07:20] and I was like season forty seven.
[01:07:22] You're about to pull up a picture of him
[01:07:23] edited with a buff on the beach.
[01:07:25] I tell you all by the end of the night.
[01:07:28] So this is Pierce right here in the middle.
[01:07:31] When I tell you about it into the night,
[01:07:34] people were lining up to take photos.
[01:07:40] You were like they believed it.
[01:07:43] Well, I said it at just because it was like in a bag
[01:07:46] like we had two rooms.
[01:07:47] And so then I left because you know,
[01:07:49] I had to go outside because I was sweating.
[01:07:50] But when I came back in there were four
[01:07:56] I mean, hey, we we've been in that position
[01:08:02] with many times forty eight.
[01:08:06] Fifty.
[01:08:08] Well, jam, see you out there.
[01:08:12] Oh, Jack, see you here.
[01:08:19] Damn.
[01:08:22] Probably.
[01:08:25] Um, anyways, Charlie Woods, the challenge,
[01:08:29] a great performance.
[01:08:31] Um, I was rooting for him too, because like, yeah,
[01:08:35] Hunter is a challenge.
[01:08:36] Be so it's good to see the underdogs get one.
[01:08:38] Yeah, Charlie did, you know, D1 track and feel like
[01:08:41] D1 cross country at Harvard.
[01:08:43] So he's an athlete in his own right.
[01:08:45] But obviously, I'm peace today.
[01:08:47] Re what I run at Harvard.
[01:08:51] Yeah, it was a book on tea.
[01:08:56] Because you know, everything is smart over there.
[01:08:57] I don't know.
[01:08:58] Do you?
[01:08:58] Yeah.
[01:08:59] Are they going to run into things during
[01:09:01] cross country while reading?
[01:09:03] Also weird tidbit.
[01:09:05] Charlie Janine Zang from forty three
[01:09:09] and Jay Maya from forty five
[01:09:11] all in the same graduating class at Harvard.
[01:09:14] Oh, which I thought was kind of crazy.
[01:09:17] So they all kind of knew each other.
[01:09:19] Wow. And Jay.
[01:09:21] Wow.
[01:09:22] Oh, but so we get back to camp.
[01:09:26] It's not Harvard.
[01:09:27] We get back to camp.
[01:09:30] And we kind of talked about it already.
[01:09:33] Because of the clear target on Q and on Hunter,
[01:09:36] this plan emerges to maybe take out Tiff.
[01:09:39] But then Charlie goes and sort of
[01:09:42] takes a temperature check with Tiff
[01:09:44] and she's like, I need to get rid of this idol.
[01:09:48] It's it is weighing me down.
[01:09:50] I'm going to play it.
[01:09:51] And so that and I think great move by Tiff
[01:09:53] because we see how it all shakes out.
[01:09:55] But because of that, they need to pivot.
[01:09:57] They're worried about, you know,
[01:09:58] Tiff playing this idol because it sounds like she's going to.
[01:10:00] And now the target shifts more towards Hunter
[01:10:03] or potentially Q.
[01:10:05] But then last minute, Hunters goes to Q
[01:10:08] and then to Venus and Liz is like, hey,
[01:10:10] I'm playing my idol.
[01:10:13] Let's switch it up.
[01:10:14] Maybe vote for Ben.
[01:10:15] Then there's some last minute scrambling for Q.
[01:10:17] And then this whole slew of chaos ensues.
[01:10:23] I guess the central sort of thing
[01:10:25] at this strategically going into this tribal
[01:10:28] is this idol usage, this idol bluffing.
[01:10:32] But there's a lot of chaos.
[01:10:34] And so what stuck out to you guys really?
[01:10:36] Anything that of anything that really stood out to you
[01:10:40] going into this tribal, which obviously the tribal itself is also crazy.
[01:10:44] So there's a lot to talk about here.
[01:10:48] It was a pretty mess.
[01:10:49] Actually, it was horrible.
[01:10:50] I was like everybody was like, I and
[01:10:55] everybody should talk to everybody.
[01:10:57] I remember talking to everyone about everything.
[01:10:59] But that was like the game I had to play at the moment.
[01:11:02] I started like I would do it again.
[01:11:03] But I was so like trying to make notes for this podcast.
[01:11:10] Like watching him going back and forth.
[01:11:11] I was like, oh my God, what they're trying to do to me as a viewer.
[01:11:14] Is it really what's going on?
[01:11:16] Was it like what are you trying to do?
[01:11:17] Like, I don't know.
[01:11:18] I was a mess.
[01:11:18] I got so I got mad at them as a player.
[01:11:22] I was like, why is everybody just telling everybody what they're going to do?
[01:11:24] Just say it again.
[01:11:27] Nobody has a number one only Charlie and Maria right now.
[01:11:31] And so it makes sense.
[01:11:32] It was a mess, but I and then I didn't know why they split the way they split.
[01:11:37] Like I got confused and maybe that's one of you before coming here to talk about it.
[01:11:42] But yeah, I was like mad as a player.
[01:11:45] I don't know.
[01:11:45] I do like as a fan is the first time all season I was pissed at Hunter because
[01:11:52] I'm like we've done all of this simulation in the basement and we're like.
[01:12:00] I just was so upset and pissed off at Hunter.
[01:12:04] I'm over here flying around talk about like, you know, talk about get me
[01:12:10] and they out here getting you.
[01:12:11] How are you going to me if they didn't honey you?
[01:12:14] But I just felt like it's not the food chain.
[01:12:18] I understand in this situation where it's like if I could have my idol
[01:12:23] for another day, let me bring it with me.
[01:12:28] But the point is to get to another day and you know that you are a big strong.
[01:12:35] Oh, gosh, you know.
[01:12:38] Country man built.
[01:12:45] You know, long hair and in a tree you can't climb.
[01:12:50] It ain't a chair you can't build.
[01:12:53] It ain't a puzzle you can't piece together.
[01:12:56] It ain't a pole you can't bend off of.
[01:12:59] It ain't a you can't hunt.
[01:13:02] Mm hmm.
[01:13:04] Preach.
[01:13:05] But when it's an idol in your pants.
[01:13:10] Whoa.
[01:13:12] Or pocket.
[01:13:13] OK, like I just I again, I understand because here's the thing.
[01:13:18] I have that same energy for my girl, Tiffany.
[01:13:23] Why are y'all playing Russian roulette?
[01:13:27] But Tiff did it right.
[01:13:28] No, I mean, but just it just happens.
[01:13:31] She did it right.
[01:13:33] But baby, like this age we're not playing strip tease.
[01:13:36] I don't want to be but but behind naked.
[01:13:38] I want my clothes on.
[01:13:40] So I rather have my idol.
[01:13:42] So again, I understand.
[01:13:43] But I really feel like we got to see Hunter's blind spot.
[01:13:48] And again, he's an excellent player, a handsome man, a strong man,
[01:13:54] a country born in bread, smart, talented,
[01:14:00] funny, little on the quiet side.
[01:14:03] But we like it.
[01:14:04] But I like.
[01:14:06] In my opinion, there's a reason why he worked with Tevin,
[01:14:10] not just because of his personality.
[01:14:12] I think that they complimented each other really well.
[01:14:16] And I think with Tevin going, we got to see that, like,
[01:14:19] although Hunter knows the game, he not about to like.
[01:14:24] Really carve it up.
[01:14:25] Right. Yeah.
[01:14:27] My take on the situation, I have a lot of thoughts.
[01:14:31] I'll just spill them.
[01:14:32] And if you guys hear something that you like disagree with or whatever,
[01:14:35] feel free to interject.
[01:14:37] I think right at first when you know the heats on you, it's obviously
[01:14:42] you want to play your idol.
[01:14:43] I think going to a queue who at this point might be hunters closer ally.
[01:14:47] I don't mind it.
[01:14:48] Get one person onside with you and because right,
[01:14:52] you play the idol successfully and negate a lot of votes.
[01:14:55] Sure, that works for the tribal, but you do need to make some inroads
[01:14:59] to move forward with the problem.
[01:15:01] I think here is when he goes to Venus and Liz and then tries to orchestrate
[01:15:05] this other whole plan, it's like, man, if you're going to use your idol
[01:15:08] to make a blindside, you can't all of a sudden loop in three or four people.
[01:15:12] Right? You're sort of you're sort of in between.
[01:15:15] Like, can I am I going to play my idol or am I trying to like orchestrate
[01:15:18] a plan where I don't have to play my idol?
[01:15:20] But now I'm going to people that I don't really trust.
[01:15:23] And I think that's where he went kind of wrong,
[01:15:25] but I can understand why he did it.
[01:15:27] Right? Then he gets the tribal and I don't hate the way he plays it initially.
[01:15:33] Right? Kenzie is giving him a lot of comfort.
[01:15:36] Charlie does a great job of consoling him.
[01:15:39] I don't mind the gamble of not playing it necessarily
[01:15:43] because Hunter's a big target.
[01:15:45] If you if you have to play it now, it's sort of like
[01:15:49] you're probably not going to make it a lot farther.
[01:15:50] Right? You need to kind of trust that you have some numbers.
[01:15:53] Granted, with how wide open the game is playing it now, becoming the obvious target.
[01:15:58] Nobody seems to want to go for the obvious target and you're an immunity threat.
[01:16:02] Maybe it's safer to play it now.
[01:16:03] What I think my hot take here, and this is something we've never really seen before
[01:16:07] is once the vote is split evenly in the vote ties and then go to a revote
[01:16:13] and people know that Hunter most likely has an idol.
[01:16:17] I think you take the idol and you throw it in the fire
[01:16:20] and you say, guys, I know right now it's between me and Q.
[01:16:24] I could see why you would lean more towards me because I do have this idol.
[01:16:28] Pull it out and say, but hey, hold on, Bryce.
[01:16:33] And say, hey, I know that the idol might be the reason that you guys lean
[01:16:37] towards voting me, but I think without the idol, I'm a more consistent ally.
[01:16:42] I'm a more steady presence.
[01:16:45] So you take the idol and say, OK, if we're about to revote,
[01:16:47] let me get rid of this because the only thing that matters to survive is that
[01:16:51] revote. So just get rid of the idol.
[01:16:53] It's that weight on your shoulders.
[01:16:55] And I think maybe he gets rid of the idol.
[01:16:56] People are like, all right, he got rid of his ammunition.
[01:17:00] Q is unpredictable. Hunter's cool.
[01:17:02] And now he doesn't have an idol.
[01:17:03] Maybe we revote to keep Hunter because also if you think about it.
[01:17:08] Or no, that one in either case.
[01:17:09] But anyways, I think I think there's a case to be made for just
[01:17:13] throwing the idol in the fire once you once you mess up by not using it.
[01:17:17] I think it's very easy for us to think of these plans after or like,
[01:17:21] you know, after we've dissected things.
[01:17:23] But I think when you're in the heat of the moment,
[01:17:26] I don't think Hunter's thinking about that.
[01:17:27] I think at best you might think I think at best you might think,
[01:17:31] all right, I got to do a little politics real quick or something like
[01:17:34] let's let's jump up and shake this and make it a live travel.
[01:17:36] But I think it is a good idea to.
[01:17:40] It's a good last ditch effort to minimize your threat by burning your idol.
[01:17:44] But I just don't think that I think it would take quite the player to
[01:17:47] just think that up on the fly and just do it.
[01:17:49] Yeah, I'm not saying that was like the clear cut.
[01:17:52] Like I'm not saying, oh, Hunter's dog.
[01:17:53] He didn't do that.
[01:17:54] Like that would be a bigger play where I'm more so curious,
[01:17:57] like, would that be the right move?
[01:17:59] I think that would.
[01:18:00] I think it's I think it's a good move in that it's like, all right,
[01:18:04] you have you got to do something drastic right now.
[01:18:06] And it's like throw everything at the wall.
[01:18:08] But I think making it a live tribal, at least you could give your pitch
[01:18:11] to people.
[01:18:12] But what I wanted to say, I think the editors did a real good job at
[01:18:18] showing Hunter and like helping us like just watch him like try to mentally
[01:18:25] think like, are these people with me?
[01:18:26] Are they not?
[01:18:27] And I think they were seated.
[01:18:29] I think they were seated where people that were not lying to him were
[01:18:33] sitting next to him.
[01:18:34] And I'm like either Kenzie is the best liar I have ever seen or she's
[01:18:40] with him or like I remember saying that about a couple of like they look
[01:18:44] locked and loaded with him.
[01:18:47] And so they're assuring him while these other people are just maybe
[01:18:52] nodding with him or whatever, but the people that are locked with him
[01:18:55] are right there next to him and you're seeing him go through it.
[01:18:59] Now we're like, all right, should he play?
[01:19:02] Should he not?
[01:19:03] What's going to happen?
[01:19:04] I think I just think they did a good job at that.
[01:19:07] Yeah, that's all.
[01:19:08] Yeah, it's tough.
[01:19:10] And I feel like I heard someone say he sort of puts himself in a position
[01:19:14] now with all this info out there where if he plays it and he's wrong,
[01:19:19] he looks bad.
[01:19:20] If he doesn't play it and he's wrong, he looks bad and he goes home.
[01:19:24] You sort of put yourself in the position where you have to make
[01:19:27] the perfect move here in the perfect read.
[01:19:29] And that's a really difficult thing.
[01:19:30] So I do think once I think we reached the point on the beach
[01:19:33] where Hunter is like, you know what?
[01:19:35] The heat's on me.
[01:19:36] I got to play my idol and I understand wanting to take that move
[01:19:41] and start trying to add a couple branches off of that to go forward with.
[01:19:45] But I think once he does that, now he's in a limbo of like, well,
[01:19:49] did I actually swing the boat?
[01:19:50] Whatever.
[01:19:51] I think you just got to play it and try to set something up
[01:19:55] with like a cue or just create some chaos take out.
[01:19:58] Like, I guess a ban is not a terrible idea, but even like Maria
[01:20:02] R. Charlie, who's super well connected, could open the game up more.
[01:20:07] And I think Hunter has the advantage of like I said, being a challenge threat
[01:20:11] and the idol is going to be re-hidden most likely.
[01:20:15] And so there's a lot of life left in the game rather than
[01:20:19] I guess if you boil it down, even call it a 50-50,
[01:20:22] I'd rather just use the idol, not risk that 50-50
[01:20:25] and then maybe the game opens up going forward.
[01:20:30] You got to believe it.
[01:20:31] I think you got to play it.
[01:20:32] Big mistake that he did.
[01:20:34] He should have played it.
[01:20:36] Yeah, I don't know why they didn't show what happened between the tie
[01:20:40] and the re-vote because they normally show like them talking again
[01:20:44] or like at least discussing.
[01:20:46] Um, probably there was no progress unless they change the rules
[01:20:50] and you cannot talk because yeah, obviously he didn't play the idol
[01:20:53] on the second re-vote because if you didn't play on the first one,
[01:20:55] you can play on the second one.
[01:20:57] But I was, I missed what they talk about after the if they did happen.
[01:21:04] I don't know. I haven't asked them.
[01:21:06] I want to throw out like a more like a general question of, you know,
[01:21:10] in the new era, I think we've seen a lot more people get blindsided
[01:21:14] with idols than, you know, play an idol successfully.
[01:21:18] And of course, in the shoes of like a hunter or a gem
[01:21:22] who went home with an idol earlier this season, it's hard to know when to play it.
[01:21:25] As as players that have played and if you have an idol,
[01:21:30] what are some like rules of thumb going into a tribal where it's like,
[01:21:34] hey, maybe I should just play this idol from your experience?
[01:21:40] In my season when they they play an idol twice while I was on tribal,
[01:21:46] like they ran and played one at the first episode.
[01:21:48] And that's why he stayed because he was apparently going out.
[01:21:52] And that's when Maddie left and I love Maddie.
[01:21:56] But it's knowing and having the conversations with the people
[01:22:01] that you chose the most in my case, Caroline didn't tell us she was.
[01:22:05] She had an idol, but I had like if anybody has it, it's her
[01:22:08] and the way she would ask me about what's going on, what's going on.
[01:22:11] Let me know if I can do something that you have a little inside of what's going on.
[01:22:17] Just have to ask around what some people mind all the time,
[01:22:21] all the time, all the time, all the time, all the time.
[01:22:23] So when in a tribal council, they change target and it's been hidden from you.
[01:22:28] You know what people were thinking like it's a weird thing.
[01:22:33] But you have to have information constantly and be checking in with everybody
[01:22:37] and just have the little tingly inside that tells you, wait,
[01:22:41] there's something going on that I don't know.
[01:22:44] And when Colin used the idol to save person was that the moment
[01:22:49] when in our game Final Six was like, this is the moment that the other
[01:22:54] three can get together and vote us out.
[01:22:56] After this, we got the game.
[01:22:59] We get it.
[01:22:59] We get into the end.
[01:23:01] So, Caroline, if you have something and she knew she was like confirming with me
[01:23:04] like, if you have something, this is the moment afterwards.
[01:23:08] It doesn't matter.
[01:23:09] We don't need it.
[01:23:11] This is the moment.
[01:23:12] And then on the case with Heidi, she was like, I'm going to use it
[01:23:15] till the moment I can because I want to get to the final episode.
[01:23:17] And then she didn't get any votes.
[01:23:18] But it depends on each case, but you just have to keep like, you know,
[01:23:22] that little beat like be like touching everybody and like breathing
[01:23:26] and watching them and swing the scrambling.
[01:23:28] And it's weird every every there's no way there's not like one rule
[01:23:33] in my opinion.
[01:23:34] But I don't know.
[01:23:35] I want.
[01:23:38] Would you say that because I think there's a lot of times where we see
[01:23:43] it's sort of a situation where you do know that it's probably you or someone else.
[01:23:48] And we see players, I mean, not to bring up the great Chris Noble,
[01:23:51] but when he went out with an idol, he knew it was going to be him or Dom.
[01:23:55] And for me, I think, you know, having not played my rule of thumb would sort
[01:24:00] might sort of might be seeing how often idols get misplayed.
[01:24:03] If you know you're catching votes and it's going to be you or someone else,
[01:24:07] you might as well play and move forward.
[01:24:08] But of course, you might get a read like we saw Hunter
[01:24:12] when Tim went out, did correctly hold his idol.
[01:24:15] But, you know, trying to do that every time really puts yourself in a dicey spot.
[01:24:20] Is better use it not needed to need it and not use it. Right.
[01:24:24] Exactly. And that's and that's and that's the thing like people are very
[01:24:27] like going back to like everybody want to make a big move.
[01:24:30] Everybody is like saving their idol to make a big move.
[01:24:33] And sometimes the boring move, the same move is the one that benefits you the most.
[01:24:38] And they're like, you know, because these people are fans.
[01:24:42] These are not people that just like God recruited to survive or under like
[01:24:46] I just want to survive one day.
[01:24:47] I'll just use it. I'll just use it and get another one.
[01:24:49] These are people that are like, oh my God, this is going to be compared
[01:24:52] to whoever and this and that.
[01:24:54] And this is what I'm going to do.
[01:24:55] And this is what I'm going to play.
[01:24:57] And that clouds their Dutch.
[01:24:59] Yeah, the desire to do something crazy.
[01:25:01] I mean, that happens a lot with like extra votes in like steel votes, too,
[01:25:05] is like people hold on to them because they want to make the perfect move.
[01:25:08] But sometimes that never happens.
[01:25:11] And then you you don't use it when it could have worked for you.
[01:25:14] Right. As James Jones preaches.
[01:25:16] OK, you got to get to the end of win.
[01:25:20] Hello. And it's James Jones.
[01:25:27] I can't tell you how many times I have been forced to hear James Jones
[01:25:32] say that, but it's true.
[01:25:34] And James Jones also says like it's not how you get to the end,
[01:25:39] but it's about the story that you could tell in the end.
[01:25:43] Shout out to James Jones before we wrap this podcast up, though.
[01:25:46] I really want to touch on two things.
[01:25:48] One, justice for Dr. Maria.
[01:25:51] What's up with like what?
[01:25:53] Like hello, editors.
[01:25:55] My girl is out there and clearly she's a boss.
[01:25:58] Clearly she is moving and shaking.
[01:26:00] Why are we not seeing her?
[01:26:01] Yep. I feel like I don't know.
[01:26:06] I feel like I've seen some Maria, not as much
[01:26:11] and like professionalized, definitely not, but she's always in the mix.
[01:26:14] Like she's in the mix.
[01:26:15] And it's like we know from part one of season forty six.
[01:26:21] She's a mover and a shaker.
[01:26:24] And so it's like we know that she has to be moving and shaking behind the scenes.
[01:26:28] I think she and Charlie are like.
[01:26:30] Yeah, but we're just here.
[01:26:31] We're just the other side and don't get me wrong.
[01:26:34] I love me some Charlie.
[01:26:35] OK, he could shake it off all day or me like, you know,
[01:26:38] but I want to see more Dr. Maria also.
[01:26:40] Number two, shout out to my baby boy, Ben.
[01:26:44] We haven't been seeing a lot of him.
[01:26:46] However, it was so funny this episode.
[01:26:48] However, right.
[01:26:50] But at tribal.
[01:26:55] You turn it on. Benjamin, no, Ben.
[01:26:59] Benjamin.
[01:27:01] Still on business and was laid cute, no by himself.
[01:27:05] Now, my here make no contact to look straight at Jeff.
[01:27:08] But Ben said what he said and what did not rock.
[01:27:13] And so I, you know, I just I love I love Ben.
[01:27:17] I love Ben.
[01:27:18] It's like he's the chillest one.
[01:27:20] But when there's some BS going down, he's not afraid to call it out.
[01:27:23] Even his confession at the beginning, just calling out Q.
[01:27:25] Like it's like I saw someone say it's sort of like
[01:27:28] you know, when like the quiet kid in class tells you, you're like,
[01:27:31] he's like over your shit.
[01:27:33] You're like, oh, I really got it.
[01:27:35] Like you're really best stop now.
[01:27:36] Like the nice kid in class is telling you your wife.
[01:27:42] But that's a crazy.
[01:27:44] But like I get it.
[01:27:45] But.
[01:27:48] Who's Q in class?
[01:27:51] It's like it's like the class clown that keeps like yelling.
[01:27:54] It's like and they're joking around.
[01:27:56] It's funny, but then it's too much and the teachers getting mad.
[01:27:59] And then the kid who the kids like it,
[01:28:01] it bends like the kids like, hey, we're trying to learn here.
[01:28:04] Like I've had enough of this.
[01:28:07] Go to time out, man.
[01:28:09] Could you imagine Q?
[01:28:12] Fifth grade and a spelling bee.
[01:28:17] What is your spelling?
[01:28:19] Spell cat.
[01:28:21] C.
[01:28:24] A.
[01:28:27] I'm going to repeat the first letter.
[01:28:30] I'm going to sit out.
[01:28:30] I'm going to sit out.
[01:28:32] I want Jack to have it.
[01:28:33] I want Jack to have it.
[01:28:35] Oh my God.
[01:28:36] Q.
[01:28:37] Bryce, I got it.
[01:28:38] Right.
[01:28:38] Q, I got it.
[01:28:39] I got it.
[01:28:40] Baltimore.
[01:28:45] Why did you sit out?
[01:28:46] Q.
[01:28:47] I want to check.
[01:28:48] But I knew how to spell cat.
[01:28:49] C. A. T.
[01:28:50] C. A. T.
[01:28:52] Awesome.
[01:28:54] Awesome.
[01:28:55] OK, sorry.
[01:28:58] Y'all know Q and fifth grade got sent to the principal's office
[01:29:04] for the Q skirt before it was the Q skirt.
[01:29:08] OK.
[01:29:11] Anyway, you sound like sell these
[01:29:12] Q skirts in the hallway.
[01:29:14] I'm going to be on TV selling these one day.
[01:29:19] Taking off Q.
[01:29:20] Big mistake, Mr.
[01:29:22] Mr. Braille.
[01:29:23] Big mistake.
[01:29:25] Your parents go cancel Christmas Q.
[01:29:32] Take hold right in that the headlines of the paper.
[01:29:36] So last last question, I guess, going
[01:29:40] about to be the final eight.
[01:29:42] Who do we think is going to win?
[01:29:46] It's a crazy.
[01:29:47] It's a tough tough question grabs.
[01:29:49] I think the better question is
[01:29:52] who's not going to win.
[01:29:53] Who's not going to win?
[01:29:55] I got three right away.
[01:29:58] Y'all are cold.
[01:29:59] I had a I had a premonition last night
[01:30:02] that was going to win this season.
[01:30:04] So I'm now and that's a dark horse.
[01:30:06] I don't know how I don't know why, but I had a dream
[01:30:10] that it was Ben winning Survivor.
[01:30:11] So maybe it's because he's in LA this week
[01:30:14] and I could just sense the the energy.
[01:30:17] But the energy of energy.
[01:30:21] I just came up with that too.
[01:30:22] Oh, but I don't know.
[01:30:24] There's there's so many like, right,
[01:30:26] I think we could say probably Venus, Liz and Q
[01:30:29] unlikely candidates.
[01:30:32] I mean, they all they can all sit next to each other.
[01:30:36] I don't know.
[01:30:36] Charlie and Charlie Maria and
[01:30:42] I think Charlie, Maria, Kenzie and Tiff
[01:30:44] all could win.
[01:30:46] And then I think then that's my dark horse.
[01:30:49] But all right.
[01:30:51] As much as I want.
[01:30:53] My girl, Tiffany, to win and I am rooting for her.
[01:30:57] I feel like her path at this point.
[01:31:01] It's it's a little rock.
[01:31:03] It's a hard road not to say that she can't get to the end.
[01:31:06] But it's like she has so many ops that she don't even know.
[01:31:09] Ops because she Drake right now and Q is Metro booming.
[01:31:14] Kenzie is the weekend.
[01:31:18] Dr. Maria is.
[01:31:20] And Rick Kendrick.
[01:31:23] Charlie is.
[01:31:25] We're all.
[01:31:28] Charlie's T-Swift.
[01:31:31] But but for real.
[01:31:34] If we're looking at these people and let's name those people that you just said,
[01:31:37] you got Charlie Maria, Tiffany, Kenzie, Ben.
[01:31:41] Yeah, I think a Seagas going to win.
[01:31:44] But Kenzie, I agree with Bryce about Tiff.
[01:31:47] I think she's just for really no fault of her own is just in a messy spot.
[01:31:52] That's what happens when he was your number one.
[01:31:54] Not a messy spot, though, because I just I do really well not because of her,
[01:31:57] but she's just in a she's in a tough spot like you are a loyal, solid
[01:32:02] and down the earth.
[01:32:03] And like it's like they just turn on you.
[01:32:05] And it's just like that just kind of pisses me off about Tiff's game
[01:32:09] because it's like what has she really done wrong?
[01:32:12] OK, but here's my question.
[01:32:14] Is there a world where people know that Kenzie has turned on her?
[01:32:18] She hates Q. Now she flips on everybody and she goes with
[01:32:22] she saws her idol.
[01:32:23] So anyone else got some wiggle room.
[01:32:25] I don't know.
[01:32:26] Can they use this?
[01:32:27] Kenzie flip on her to get tips to say, say, Tiffany,
[01:32:32] use their idol this she's going to use her idol next episode.
[01:32:34] She's going to get through now.
[01:32:36] It's like y'all pick off someone and someone can be like,
[01:32:41] yo, Kenzie was going for you.
[01:32:42] Do they think that Kenzie is a threat out there?
[01:32:44] I feel like there will be a point when these people.
[01:32:46] Yeah, Kenzie is a threat and Hunter going.
[01:32:51] Kenzie loses a little bit.
[01:32:52] I just think Kenzie is very well connected.
[01:32:54] But I do agree with you that that's going to be a good.
[01:32:56] I also think I've seen especially in the new era, we've seen a lot
[01:32:59] where a public idol could actually be a real asset because now Tiffany
[01:33:04] has shown she she has the cahones to bluff about a idol
[01:33:10] and not use it.
[01:33:12] And so now everyone's going to be like, we can't read Tiff.
[01:33:14] Like, we don't know if she's going to play her idol or not.
[01:33:16] She's kind of dialed in when it comes to is she safe or is she not?
[01:33:21] Maybe we just put Tiff on the back burner for a little bit.
[01:33:24] But before you know it, the back burner becomes the final five
[01:33:27] and she still has her idol.
[01:33:30] It is just a tough path to sort of see how Tiff maneuvers votes
[01:33:34] and also leads enough votes eventually to win the game.
[01:33:37] But I mean, when what do you what do you guys think about like the seat?
[01:33:41] The three Seagate's is that that to me is the strongest.
[01:33:44] It's sort of like Reba last season where there is a sort of a closeness there.
[01:33:48] There's some loyalty there.
[01:33:50] But what's yeah, yeah, they they like I like to see this.
[01:33:53] Yeah, they look good.
[01:33:54] I'm sorry. It looks good.
[01:33:56] Charlie and Maria look good.
[01:33:58] And we've gotten their narrative the whole time again.
[01:34:00] Maria has been under edited.
[01:34:02] Could that be because she's about to get a big spike in her edit?
[01:34:05] Could that be because that's what I think she's
[01:34:07] about to hit that sweet spot and like go and go and go.
[01:34:10] Yeah, yeah. Who knows?
[01:34:13] I agree. I agree.
[01:34:14] I think I think the Seagate's are definitely like in the best part
[01:34:18] right now because they are playing.
[01:34:20] They are not a target.
[01:34:21] They are like I know they talk about bambi in the target,
[01:34:24] but they're like just chilling and aware and connected,
[01:34:28] not casting a lot of broadcasts, whatever it's the word is.
[01:34:31] And but I do see people that I think going back to the question
[01:34:36] of why things is going to win or go to the end and blah, blah.
[01:34:39] I think the best path so far to get to the end, in my opinion,
[01:34:43] definitely can see because in this messy,
[01:34:47] yannu thing, she's the one that has a less of a target so far.
[01:34:52] A lot of connections.
[01:34:53] I think she can make it and then she can have a good argument at the end.
[01:34:57] I think the way Maria is edited just like Wendell said right now.
[01:35:01] I was thinking about that too.
[01:35:03] They're giving us a glimpse of her playing
[01:35:06] without it making a big thing with the other players.
[01:35:11] So I think there's something there that they're showing little tidbits
[01:35:15] of something she's going to maybe expand on later or something that's going to happen.
[01:35:19] And I also think Ben, it's a very likeable person.
[01:35:23] And I don't think I mean they they still are looking at other targets.
[01:35:30] And I think Ben can go through it because Ben has a one a challenge.
[01:35:33] Ben is cool, Ben is chilling. Ben is not playing.
[01:35:37] But he's playing, you know, but maybe they notice.
[01:35:41] I know I don't want to make it all about myself,
[01:35:43] but it's very important to know that these people watch my finale
[01:35:48] two days before they went to Fiji.
[01:35:50] It's just like us.
[01:35:51] We watched Marianne win a day before we went to Fiji.
[01:35:55] So they have 44 in their head, you know?
[01:35:59] So that's like soda left, tadang left, like big happy personalities.
[01:36:03] They don't want 44 to happen again.
[01:36:05] They're playing that anti-44 game in my head is the way I'm seeing what's going on.
[01:36:12] But yeah, maybe they see it in Ben and they want to kick him out because of that too.
[01:36:16] I don't know.
[01:36:17] But that also is like you saying that, Jam,
[01:36:20] in my opinion, makes more sense to Kenzie's move targeting Tiff, right?
[01:36:26] Like if they just saw the Tinka three get to the end,
[01:36:30] maybe she is trying to like break that curse, not break the curse, but like stand alone.
[01:36:37] I also feel like it's more important for me.
[01:36:39] I'm watching this jewelry.
[01:36:41] We've got soda.
[01:36:42] We got seven.
[01:36:44] We now have Hunter like I feel like a lot of Nami's right.
[01:36:49] So well, I feel like they will go.
[01:36:53] I feel like if what's the Green Tribe's name?
[01:36:55] Sega, Sega, like I feel like I don't know if they want a Sega.
[01:37:00] To win.
[01:37:02] So I don't know.
[01:37:03] I'm just thinking about they don't want Venus.
[01:37:06] Well, I mean, I don't want Venus or Liz to win.
[01:37:08] That's what I'm saying.
[01:37:09] So it's like I'm looking at who is left and seeing like what the
[01:37:14] projects, what the trajectory of who actually this jewelry would vote for.
[01:37:20] Because another thing, shout out to Tevin, maybe he ain't look happy.
[01:37:24] So let's let's look at it with that eye then, Bryce, because now you got
[01:37:29] we could just look at we could take our top five and we could say
[01:37:33] who is this voting block not going to vote for out of that.
[01:37:36] And that's why I'm saying like if Tiff or Kenzie with who is out there
[01:37:41] and they get to the end, I could see them winning because it's like being as
[01:37:44] though that they are the three like Sega in what's the other tribe name?
[01:37:50] Nami, Nami, Nami.
[01:37:52] Like I don't think they really coming for them.
[01:37:54] It's like for me, it's more if it's a Nami or a Yandu
[01:37:58] or a Sega up there, I feel like that is going to be like where they're like,
[01:38:01] we but that's sort of where Yandu squandered a lot of their advantages.
[01:38:05] They all split up now.
[01:38:07] So I think they like sort of had some Tika three potential where they play
[01:38:11] both sides and get in good with everybody.
[01:38:13] But it's like now they don't even like each other really.
[01:38:15] And even Kenzie and Tiff were tight and Kenzie wants to turn on Tiff.
[01:38:20] That's why I think with this jury, especially
[01:38:22] I think we're about to see a bitter jury.
[01:38:25] And I'm not mad at it.
[01:38:26] And I think not only are some of the people that have gone out
[01:38:31] not super happy with the way they went out, but we also have players like
[01:38:36] Avinus, players like a Q, players like Tiff, who is mad at Q, players in Yandu
[01:38:42] who are going against each other and there's so many players going against each other.
[01:38:45] So many conflicts, I feel like that we're still yet to see that by the time
[01:38:49] we reach the final three, that's why I think maybe a guy like Ben or a guy
[01:38:54] like Maria or Charlie, who really have made no enemies with anybody and are very
[01:38:58] likeable people, if they just sit next to people that people don't like,
[01:39:02] that's sort of how you get that Bob Crowley win.
[01:39:06] That's sort of how you get like
[01:39:09] with some more respect on Bob Crowley.
[01:39:12] But that's not a disrespect.
[01:39:14] That's more of like a disrespect that's you maneuver your way to the end
[01:39:17] with people that the jury doesn't want to vote for, which is kind of a clear
[01:39:21] cut strategy to win. Kind of like Fabio, Nick or Agua.
[01:39:24] But it don't.
[01:39:25] It don't say I like the way you sound.
[01:39:27] No.
[01:39:29] But I'd like, let's be if Ben ends up winning this season,
[01:39:32] it's probably not going to be because he turned on the mastermind strategic
[01:39:37] moves in the final eight.
[01:39:39] It's going to be because he positions himself in a way to get to the end
[01:39:42] with like Venus and Q and everyone's like, well, we really like Ben.
[01:39:48] We're not huge fans of Q or Venus, so we're going to vote for Ben
[01:39:52] and you win a million dollars.
[01:39:53] And that's that's a good deal in my mind.
[01:39:56] Yeah, I regardless if I'm out there, I'm not letting Q get to the end
[01:40:01] because
[01:40:05] y'all need to take you out because again,
[01:40:07] being around Q, seeing him actually in person and like, you know,
[01:40:12] and even in this tribal, Tiffany still didn't even write his name down.
[01:40:16] But she still went with Hunter like I just.
[01:40:20] Yeah, like I keep saying Tony from Cognon.
[01:40:22] There is a world where people may not like what he has done,
[01:40:26] but he won't get up there and say
[01:40:29] he ran for president.
[01:40:31] He flew a helicopter.
[01:40:32] He can fly.
[01:40:33] Does the jury believe?
[01:40:35] That's the question.
[01:40:36] But again, like on the upside.
[01:40:38] Yeah, like I'm saying, Jack, you're saying a bitter,
[01:40:41] you're saying a bitter jury, but also
[01:40:43] for me, a bitter jury means an emotional jury.
[01:40:46] And I'm not saying that negatively.
[01:40:49] I'm not saying. Yeah, so right.
[01:40:50] I mean, I don't know because I don't know because Mother Eats.
[01:40:56] Mother Eats, I don't know.
[01:40:57] You probably wins that final three, but I think that's the only final three that he
[01:41:00] wins. Yeah, say if that is the final three Q will win the game.
[01:41:05] But baby Venus would skyrocket to a Kelly Wentworth to a par to like.
[01:41:12] I know that.
[01:41:13] Venus is already on the trajectory, I think, to be a losing finalist.
[01:41:18] And that's not going to put her in the conversation with Parvon Kelly Wentworth.
[01:41:22] Jack, do you not know how these things work?
[01:41:25] Like there's all in terms of in terms of mother status or in terms of survivor
[01:41:29] gamesmanship and terms of mother status with.
[01:41:33] Oh, oh, yeah.
[01:41:34] No, she's already up there in a in a legend mother status.
[01:41:38] I can't question that.
[01:41:40] I thought you were talking about if she goes to the end and doesn't win.
[01:41:45] She'd be as good of a player as Parvon Kelly Wentworth.
[01:41:48] I was like, no, but maybe the stands are standard.
[01:41:53] No, Venus is great TV and I could see why people stand her.
[01:41:57] Sorry, I misinterpreted it.
[01:41:59] Okay, I have another one for you.
[01:42:00] Q, Venus, Ben.
[01:42:03] Ben, I think.
[01:42:05] I think I think I think Q has an argument, though, and he might get some votes.
[01:42:10] Yeah, because nobody's like nobody messes with Q.
[01:42:15] Like right now, bro, Q.
[01:42:17] OK, in real life, this man is on it.
[01:42:20] He's very successful.
[01:42:21] He does his thing.
[01:42:22] I've seen him on the phone like making his deals, his phones ringing off the hook.
[01:42:27] And I'm like, yo, I see that person like the way he talks on the island.
[01:42:32] I'm like, yo, I've seen him talk to people like this on his business calls.
[01:42:35] Now, the only thing I'm saying is I will not put anything past Q sitting at the end.
[01:42:41] I think that this man is a lot.
[01:42:44] I think he has the ability to.
[01:42:47] OK, he tried to quit.
[01:42:50] He woke up on the island still snap back in.
[01:42:52] All right, I want to play again.
[01:42:54] I think that if he lands at the end, he's going to snap back in and he's going
[01:42:58] to make a very fun to watch him out final travel.
[01:43:01] You're all I just don't think he'll be fun.
[01:43:03] I don't think it's his voting for him.
[01:43:05] I don't think you'd be surprised.
[01:43:07] Venus is voting for him.
[01:43:08] I don't think he'll get up there and say he's that he is one of 17.
[01:43:13] Saying one thing does not you could say you masterminded everything,
[01:43:17] but that doesn't make it true.
[01:43:18] Yeah, but he could bring my I don't think it can happen.
[01:43:22] But I'm just saying like there is evidence that he could say everything
[01:43:25] that he's going to do, talk about his upbringing being being one of 17.
[01:43:30] I would love to see him.
[01:43:31] No, he won't.
[01:43:33] He won't give us.
[01:43:34] Yeah. No, no, I would love.
[01:43:36] I mean, him that would be a wild final try like him.
[01:43:39] Venus and Ben would be a competitive, chaotic, messy final tribal.
[01:43:45] And I would be curious to see that.
[01:43:47] And Q has shifted the game numerous times.
[01:43:50] Kind of has you have directed the trajectory of the game numerous times.
[01:43:56] But I'm curious to see if you can really do that again at this point in the game.
[01:43:59] Q has not directed the trajectory of the game.
[01:44:03] Q put the game in a blender and press.
[01:44:13] I don't even know what the game look like right now.
[01:44:15] He ain't changed no direction.
