[00:02:14] So much more.

[00:02:59] Super excited to be back with our co-host, the winner of Wendell,
[00:03:04] the winner of Ghost Island, First Merge Boot, and owner of the Gas Lamp Hotel.
[00:03:13] Welcome back to the podcast, Wendy Z.
[00:03:15] What's up?
[00:03:16] What's up, Bryce?
[00:03:18] Good to be back.
[00:03:19] Good to see you, Jack.
[00:03:20] And it is a pleasure to see you, Maddie.
[00:03:22] So good to be here.
[00:03:24] What an introduction for Wendell.
[00:03:25] Right.
[00:03:26] I mean, he cleaned it up a bit.
[00:03:32] We have the Season 2 of The Circle, the mac and cheese pro-claimed self.
[00:03:41] I don't even know what that word is, but proclaimed self of the macaroni and cheese Buffalo style.
[00:03:47] We've got Jack Atkins.
[00:03:48] Jackery, how are you?
[00:03:49] I'm good.
[00:03:50] I'm good.
[00:03:51] Hot off a nice Thanksgiving and ready to dive in and excited for today's guest, Bryce.
[00:03:57] Yes, enough about these two ordinary boys.
[00:04:01] We are so excited to welcome to the podcast a queen, a legend in her own right, the most iconic person I know.
[00:04:11] And if you are ever in New Orleans and there are a group of people that you have to corral,
[00:04:17] but you're kind of scared to speak up, the person that will come to you and say, Bryce, do it.
[00:04:21] I'll support you.
[00:04:22] Let's welcome to the podcast, Survivor 44, Maddie P.
[00:04:26] How you doing?
[00:04:28] Thank you so much, Bryce.
[00:04:29] What an intro.
[00:04:30] We really had a time.
[00:04:32] I have missed you guys.
[00:04:33] Y'all, we had a time.
[00:04:34] We went to Owen Knight's wedding in New Orleans.
[00:04:37] These boys are a good ass time.
[00:04:39] We had a really good one.
[00:04:41] Bryce, we missed you.
[00:04:42] So we ended up at a rave at like four in the morning in our wedding.
[00:04:46] Where?
[00:04:47] Like I was in a whole...
[00:04:48] We missed you a rave.
[00:04:50] Yeah.
[00:04:51] Wendell wasn't there.
[00:04:51] No one saw Wendell there.
[00:04:55] But we missed you, Bryce.
[00:04:56] We were like, this is his shit.
[00:04:58] He would love this.
[00:04:58] I was so jealous.
[00:05:00] I had a 5, like 20 flight the next morning.
[00:05:03] So I was like, I cannot be a Jack Atkins and sleep the day away.
[00:05:07] I have to get up.
[00:05:09] So I heard, I saw the photos and the videos.
[00:05:11] It looked fun.
[00:05:14] We had a lot.
[00:05:15] It was a lot.
[00:05:15] Holidays was great.
[00:05:16] How was everyone's Thanksgiving?
[00:05:20] It was good.
[00:05:22] It was good.
[00:05:23] Down in Nashville with some family.
[00:05:27] Didn't end up cooking too.
[00:05:28] I made the biscuits.
[00:05:30] That's what I made.
[00:05:34] I sent Bryce a pick of the plate.
[00:05:36] You're going to see some beef tenderloin.
[00:05:38] We did turkey for lunch.
[00:05:39] And then for dinner, some beef tenderloin.
[00:05:42] Some roasted potatoes.
[00:05:43] Mac and cheese.
[00:05:44] I don't see the raisins in the mac and cheese.
[00:05:47] Come on now.
[00:05:48] It never raises on my plate.
[00:05:50] And then a nice biscuit in the middle.
[00:05:52] You know, I'm not going to.
[00:05:53] It could have used a little bit more seasoning.
[00:05:56] Not going to lie.
[00:05:57] I've got to keep it down because the family's downstairs.
[00:06:00] But it was all in all.
[00:06:01] It was a decent meal.
[00:06:02] So I have no complaints.
[00:06:03] Jack, what I love about that plate is you got your veggies in.
[00:06:06] Okay.
[00:06:07] I saw two pieces of broccoli.
[00:06:09] Not one, but two.
[00:06:10] You might also see some sprouts over there.
[00:06:13] Like Brussels sprouts in the corner.
[00:06:14] Okay.
[00:06:15] And when we went back for seconds, we actually got some more vegetables back in the mix.
[00:06:21] It's the way the roll is perfectly centered in the middle.
[00:06:24] Did you plan that, Jack?
[00:06:26] You know, I didn't.
[00:06:27] I started putting everything kind of on its own little side.
[00:06:30] And then lastly, I had to grab the roll.
[00:06:32] Nice little spot in the middle for that.
[00:06:34] So just popped it down in there.
[00:06:35] I think it really ties the place together.
[00:06:38] Jack, I will say.
[00:06:40] Yeah, sun.
[00:06:41] And the food is like the sunbeams coming off of it.
[00:06:45] Okay.
[00:06:46] And what would the macaroni and cheese be?
[00:06:48] That's just a husky sunbeam with raisins and grapes in it.
[00:06:51] Okay.
[00:06:52] Well, Jack, I will say this.
[00:06:54] What your Thanksgiving plate might be lacking in seasoning, the decoration and the decor around it make up for it.
[00:07:02] Is that like a bell pepper, salt and pepper, or butter?
[00:07:07] What is that?
[00:07:08] That's just a little pumpkin just garnished.
[00:07:12] I don't think it has any purpose other than the...
[00:07:15] Other than looking fly.
[00:07:17] Oh, yeah.
[00:07:18] Shout out to my...
[00:07:19] My Aunt Mary knows how to, you know, keep a household looking nice.
[00:07:23] So shout out.
[00:07:24] Shout out to Aunt Mary.
[00:07:26] So we love this.
[00:07:27] Now, what does a Thanksgiving look like when you have a one-year-old?
[00:07:39] He is so cute.
[00:07:41] He was sitting on my lap and he had his own plate, but he just kept on taking it off of my plate and taking it off of my Uncle Larry, who was sitting next to me, his plate.
[00:07:50] So when he was enjoying himself and, yeah, he wasn't...
[00:07:56] He was annihilating the mac and cheese.
[00:07:59] He wasn't going in on the turkey too hard, though.
[00:08:02] Yeah.
[00:08:03] I'd say your son has a knack for photography because he took this photo of the plate and it's the angle for me.
[00:08:11] I like how it's giving something here.
[00:08:13] So we're going to have to get him a camera or something for Christmas.
[00:08:16] It's a nice low angle.
[00:08:19] Yes.
[00:08:21] I think it's artistic.
[00:08:23] This is how, like, Gen Z...
[00:08:24] Jack, you can speak to this.
[00:08:26] Gen Z are taking their photos like this, posting them in the whatever Instagram reels.
[00:08:32] All, like, blurry like this.
[00:08:33] This is like a Brooklyn hipster.
[00:08:35] So I think...
[00:08:37] I like it.
[00:08:38] It's kind of like a POV too because you...
[00:08:40] Yeah, right.
[00:08:41] He's about to maybe get a bite.
[00:08:44] Um...
[00:08:45] I think it speaks to his life as a baby, you know, at that level of thinking.
[00:08:50] A different perspective.
[00:08:52] So...
[00:08:52] You think that's why he took it like that, Jack?
[00:08:54] Yeah.
[00:08:55] I think so.
[00:08:55] I think it's a statement piece.
[00:08:58] I agree.
[00:08:59] And it's, you know, you said he was smacking the mac and cheese, wasn't feeling the turkey.
[00:09:02] But, you know, in the way, the turkey's kind of in the way of the mac and cheese.
[00:09:05] It's kind of like, you can't let that stop you from reaching your goals.
[00:09:09] Okay.
[00:09:11] I love that.
[00:09:12] Yeah.
[00:09:12] The young Basquiat.
[00:09:14] Come on.
[00:09:15] I want my whole plate to be starch.
[00:09:20] I don't want any protein, any greens.
[00:09:21] I want, like, your biscuit, Jack, your clump of mac and cheese, and then Wendell's mac and
[00:09:26] cheese next to it.
[00:09:27] And that's like, that hits all of the food pyramid for me.
[00:09:30] Yeah.
[00:09:31] Okay.
[00:09:32] Wow.
[00:09:34] The baby boy wasn't playing.
[00:09:36] My mom recently had surgery.
[00:09:38] So normally she is the cook of the family.
[00:09:40] So I had to step it up.
[00:09:42] Not only did we have a Bryson Wendell the night before, the baby boy had to get up early and
[00:09:47] do my thing in the kitchen.
[00:09:49] And so, yeah.
[00:09:51] Bryson, did you like this or did you cater it again?
[00:09:54] Excuse me, Wendell.
[00:09:57] Okay.
[00:09:58] The truth is about to come out.
[00:09:59] I just remembered you.
[00:10:01] I don't know.
[00:10:03] I'm not sure what you're describing, Wendell.
[00:10:08] Wait, Bryce, bring that picture back up.
[00:10:12] Bring that picture back up.
[00:10:12] I might have seen some of those aluminum trays.
[00:10:15] Yeah.
[00:10:16] When you have a big family, Maddie, that's like, first of all, saves on dishes.
[00:10:22] And when you, when you're cooking for a large family is, you know, you got a buffet style
[00:10:26] sometimes.
[00:10:27] Who's the Morgan alum?
[00:10:29] Did she drop all that food off for you?
[00:10:31] No, that's my, that's my cousin Valida.
[00:10:33] She lives around the corner from my mom.
[00:10:35] So she, she came, helped eat the wonderful food that I purchased.
[00:10:42] I mean, that I cooked.
[00:10:43] Oh!
[00:10:45] So, yeah.
[00:10:46] Bryce, I got two, I got two things about this.
[00:10:49] A.
[00:10:49] Okay.
[00:10:50] Good to see Miss Barb looking happy and healthy in the back.
[00:10:53] And B.
[00:10:54] I'm curious, what, what was smacking the most out of this, out of this spread?
[00:10:59] Uh, the candy yams.
[00:11:02] Mmm.
[00:11:02] You know, they, they smack, they hit every time.
[00:11:06] They don't miss.
[00:11:07] Delicious.
[00:11:07] The green beans were really good as well, too.
[00:11:09] We had a little turkey butt in the green beans, you know, give it that smoke flavor.
[00:11:13] You ever?
[00:11:14] Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
[00:11:16] Sorry, Maddie.
[00:11:17] Sometimes I crack myself up.
[00:11:18] You ever, you ever suck the meat out of a butt?
[00:11:22] That's what I know.
[00:11:24] Okay.
[00:11:25] No.
[00:11:26] Okay.
[00:11:27] Okay.
[00:11:27] We're like nine minutes in.
[00:11:30] No, wait, man.
[00:11:32] We get in trouble, Maddie, from the posse from time to time.
[00:11:36] Uh, sometimes they say we, we go to, they don't, they like the small talk, then they don't like
[00:11:41] the small talk, but it's Thanksgiving.
[00:11:42] So I feel like, you know, we had to talk about it.
[00:11:44] And how was your Thanksgiving spread, Maddie?
[00:11:47] It was good.
[00:11:49] Um, my dad in the last few years has been doing HelloFresh, not sponsored, not sponsored.
[00:11:55] Just, he does do HelloFresh.
[00:11:56] I want to.
[00:12:00] And he has gone from not cooking at all to being really proud of his cooking.
[00:12:06] So every year at Thanksgiving, he's been doing it on his own.
[00:12:10] I did the cranberry sauce, so I helped a little bit, but he has been every year getting better.
[00:12:16] So it was really cute.
[00:12:17] He did a great job.
[00:12:18] Wait, Maddie.
[00:12:19] So was Thanksgiving dinner like seven different HelloFresh meals?
[00:12:25] You have the cardboard, like the instructions out?
[00:12:29] No, no, it was proper turkey, all that.
[00:12:32] Yeah.
[00:12:33] Okay.
[00:12:34] But, um, yeah, it was good.
[00:12:35] And it's funny because my home, I, y'all, I felt like I was playing survivor.
[00:12:41] So I have four sisters and everyone, it's like, we ride down.
[00:12:46] We used to ride home in a clown car, everyone all together in one tiny little car together.
[00:12:51] And then like some years, you know how people are doing because of the car situation.
[00:12:56] So this year we had two in one car, two in another.
[00:12:59] Okay.
[00:13:00] So that's telling you something.
[00:13:02] So we get home at like 3am.
[00:13:04] I'm telling you 9am the next day, people are whispering in the kitchen.
[00:13:07] There's alliances happening.
[00:13:10] One of my sisters said, Maddie, I want to let you know, we're going to call her Vanessa.
[00:13:14] Vanessa is going to come talk to you today.
[00:13:15] I'm like, well, I'm blowing up my other sister's spot who just told me this.
[00:13:18] Cause I'm like, I don't want any of this drama.
[00:13:20] I'm not doing this politicking.
[00:13:21] So I'm talking loud.
[00:13:22] She's like, you have to whisper.
[00:13:24] You have to whisper.
[00:13:26] So then Vanessa over here is the whispering.
[00:13:28] Not even me blowing up her spot comes down.
[00:13:31] Um, she's like, we're going to call her Marissa.
[00:13:35] She says, Marissa, I heard you whispering to Maddie.
[00:13:39] Why were you whispering to Maddie?
[00:13:40] Four hour long fight.
[00:13:42] I'm sitting in the middle.
[00:13:44] It's like, did you guys see challengers?
[00:13:47] Yes.
[00:13:49] I was Zendaya in the middle.
[00:13:52] They're going back and forth for hours.
[00:13:54] So that was Wednesday.
[00:13:57] Survivor was the least survivor that was happening that night.
[00:13:59] Survivor was happening in the Pumilla household.
[00:14:01] It was insane, but we're good now.
[00:14:04] Wow.
[00:14:05] No shots.
[00:14:06] Was that like a sister and a sister-in-law?
[00:14:10] What'd you say?
[00:14:10] No, what?
[00:14:11] Was both sisters or was that like a sister and a sister-in-law?
[00:14:15] No, no, no.
[00:14:15] This is blood.
[00:14:17] Oh.
[00:14:17] Oh.
[00:14:20] Yeah.
[00:14:21] Any shot in the darks play?
[00:14:23] Someone should have.
[00:14:24] Cause we would have been out of there sooner.
[00:14:25] I was like on hour two, I was like, can we wrap this up?
[00:14:29] And we kept being like, everyone would be like, no, no, no, we're done.
[00:14:32] And then.
[00:14:33] And he was like, one more thing.
[00:14:36] So I pulled a row.
[00:14:37] I was Jeff Probst.
[00:14:40] You got to sit in the seat.
[00:14:41] Yes.
[00:14:42] It's not the holidays if it's not a little family drama.
[00:14:45] Okay.
[00:14:46] Yeah.
[00:14:47] But the Bryce and Wynn tour 47 continues.
[00:14:51] We just were in our hometown of Philadelphia this past Wednesday.
[00:14:55] This upcoming Wednesday, December 4th.
[00:14:57] We're going to be in Boston.
[00:14:59] And whoo, baby.
[00:15:00] Boston is going to be something special.
[00:15:04] That's it.
[00:15:05] Yeah.
[00:15:06] After Boston, it'll be Washington, D.C.
[00:15:07] And then New York city for the part two.
[00:15:10] Cause you know, the part one of the finale is in Washington, D.C.
[00:15:13] Then we'll be in New York.
[00:15:14] Don't miss out on the Bryce and Wynn tour 47.
[00:15:18] It's a time to be had.
[00:15:20] I do.
[00:15:20] I know we are like 11 minutes in.
[00:15:22] I'm so sorry for the listening and watching, but I, Jackery, I have to give you your flowers.
[00:15:26] When we were in Philadelphia, I have to say the amount of posse members that came up to me and said, they listened to Survivor News.
[00:15:39] And they said, Bryce, you, you, you, you go in on Jack.
[00:15:42] I said, well, that's my brother.
[00:15:43] I'm going to go with it.
[00:15:44] They said, we have to, we have to tell you over the last three seasons of Survivor News.
[00:15:50] Jack holds his own.
[00:15:52] Jack knows how you come in.
[00:15:53] And somebody said, they said, Jack's right.
[00:15:58] Don't text him nothing about Survivor because that is a spoiler.
[00:16:05] They also said about me.
[00:16:09] I said, come listen to this.
[00:16:11] You got to hear what they said about Jack.
[00:16:13] And they're like, oh yeah, Wendell, you don't even talk on the podcast.
[00:16:19] But, and I don't need to say anything else, but they also gave us the ultimate compliment.
[00:16:25] They said the fight in their family, they're a Survivor family.
[00:16:28] They listened to a lot of other podcasts.
[00:16:30] And they said a new, more recent fight in their family has been that Survivor News is the superior Survivor podcast.
[00:16:41] And people were fighting back about that?
[00:16:44] They were fighting, well, I mean, they, you, they had some legendary podcasts that they listened to.
[00:16:49] And it was the brother, do you remember the brother's name, Wendell?
[00:16:52] Was it Brockman?
[00:16:54] It started with a B.
[00:16:56] It was, it was our boy, Declan.
[00:16:58] Declan.
[00:16:59] Yeah.
[00:17:00] Another Declan.
[00:17:01] Declan said Survivor News is where it's at.
[00:17:04] So I just wanted to just let you know, Jack, the posse sees you and if I got to come harder now.
[00:17:10] Okay.
[00:17:11] Because.
[00:17:13] And also posse, we thank you.
[00:17:15] And we like hearing from you in person.
[00:17:18] So, you know, and you could keep it real with us.
[00:17:21] I mean, y'all definitely said, Wendell, you don't talk.
[00:17:24] What you doing?
[00:17:25] And I was like, I mean, you're right.
[00:17:29] I disappeared.
[00:17:29] But we appreciate you guys so much.
[00:17:32] So thank you.
[00:17:32] Yeah, this is very nice to hear.
[00:17:35] Thank you for sharing, Bryce.
[00:17:36] Posse, thanks for holding it down.
[00:17:38] I see you guys in the comments showing up.
[00:17:41] Even last week, I got put on blast for my mac and cheese innovations.
[00:17:45] And I saw some comments that were like, I'll give it a try.
[00:17:48] So we're going to have a quick episode coming soon.
[00:17:53] But yeah, always great to hear.
[00:17:55] I wish I was able to come to more events this season to hang out with the Purple Pants Posse a little bit more.
[00:18:01] But Bryce, I did.
[00:18:02] I was at a function a couple of weeks ago.
[00:18:05] And a friend of a friend, my friend introduced me to his friend.
[00:18:10] And then his friend was like, I listened to the Survivor News.
[00:18:13] And I was like, and I think not going to give it.
[00:18:17] He said he was pretty far in the casting process for 49.
[00:18:22] So what's up?
[00:18:27] He might be divulging too much information.
[00:18:31] You know, I'm going to keep the person anonymous.
[00:18:35] So, you know, but, you know, just good to hear.
[00:18:40] There's nothing better than just being in the wild and finding a posse member.
[00:18:44] You know, so that makes it feel a little bit more, you know, like what we're doing is, you know, getting out there.
[00:18:50] So that's very nice, Bryce.
[00:18:52] Thank you for sharing that.
[00:18:53] You're allowed to, you know, keep giving me shit.
[00:18:56] I'm going to keep holding it down.
[00:18:57] But yeah, should we get into this week's episode?
[00:19:02] One last thing.
[00:19:03] Hey, my friend, we hope you get on.
[00:19:06] Yeah.
[00:19:07] Absolutely.
[00:19:10] Most of the time when people come up to me, like in the wild and tell me they're going through casting, multiple people have been on since then.
[00:19:19] So you shouldn't be telling people.
[00:19:20] You definitely shouldn't be telling people.
[00:19:22] But so far, the people that I know who have squealed to me, they all get on.
[00:19:27] Maddie, since I want to say we've been doing Bryce and Wynn, what, Wendell, for the past four years.
[00:19:34] Every party, every year since the party, there have been someone at our parties that are on the next season.
[00:19:43] Yes.
[00:19:44] I mean, I don't work for casting, but you can call me Jesse.
[00:19:50] Bryce, who, I know, because we can talk about past people that have been on, right?
[00:19:54] So I know Andy, I'm at a party.
[00:19:57] Who else?
[00:19:58] Teenie.
[00:19:59] Teenie.
[00:20:00] There's Rome.
[00:20:01] There's Rome.
[00:20:03] There's Carla.
[00:20:05] Carla, really?
[00:20:06] I didn't know that.
[00:20:06] Yes.
[00:20:07] Wow.
[00:20:08] Charlie, right?
[00:20:09] Charlie.
[00:20:11] There's James Jones.
[00:20:13] James Jones.
[00:20:15] Who, and then, it's like two more.
[00:20:18] We can have the Survivor All-Stars, just out of Bryce and Wynn attendees.
[00:20:23] Right.
[00:20:24] I mean, there might be some, I'm not good at counting, but say it to yourself.
[00:20:30] So, what's the number after 47?
[00:20:34] Okay.
[00:20:35] So, might have some other stories to tell.
[00:20:39] Oh.
[00:20:40] We'll see, I guess.
[00:20:42] Okay.
[00:20:43] Maybe then.
[00:20:45] All right.
[00:20:46] Well, listen, because I want to get cussed out.
[00:20:48] And if y'all cussing this out in the comments, just write Maddie.
[00:20:50] It's Maddie fault.
[00:20:51] Okay.
[00:20:52] Believe it on Maddie.
[00:20:53] I can take it.
[00:20:54] I can take it.
[00:20:55] Y'all heard about the sisters.
[00:20:56] There's nothing anyone could say in the comments that's meaner than what my sister said to me.
[00:21:00] So, we're good.
[00:21:02] What we got to do, we just got to put, when we post it right in the comments, starts at 1820.
[00:21:08] And then.
[00:21:08] 1820.
[00:21:09] We're getting into it.
[00:21:11] Let's go, Jackery.
[00:21:12] What you got?
[00:21:13] Because, oof, this episode.
[00:21:14] So, I'm going to start off again.
[00:21:17] I don't know if this, again, I'm just going to say it.
[00:21:19] I don't know.
[00:21:19] This might be a hot take and I want to hear from you guys.
[00:21:22] There's lots to unpack, but to me, this might have been the worst episode of the season.
[00:21:30] I just felt like it was a little bit predictable.
[00:21:34] Obviously, we had, Kyle's been on this immunity run.
[00:21:38] And, you know, when he loses, it kind of becomes a little bit obvious that he's going to be the target.
[00:21:44] Genevieve gets thrown in the mix, but it didn't even seem like there was that much traction for it during the episode.
[00:21:51] So, and then, like, the whole, I guess the other story is this underdog alliance forming.
[00:21:56] But it's like, all right, well, now you have the majority.
[00:21:59] You have some good people in the mix on there.
[00:22:01] The people that aren't in there are, like, Sam, Genevieve, and Kyle.
[00:22:05] And by no means are they, like, the big dogs, right?
[00:22:09] Like, Sam's been struggling since the merge to, like, get in with the group.
[00:22:12] Genevieve has lost a lot of her leverage since the Saul vote at James Jones.
[00:22:18] I told you so.
[00:22:19] And Kyle has just been, like, you know, not really taking a lot of agency in the game.
[00:22:26] So, they call themselves the underdog.
[00:22:28] But it's like, now you got to, the winner is probably in that group now.
[00:22:32] So, I don't know.
[00:22:35] Like, there's obviously some different things throughout the episode we can get into.
[00:22:39] But what sort of, like, Frank, what stuck out to you?
[00:22:44] Not so much this episode.
[00:22:45] I want to take it back.
[00:22:47] Okay, let's go back, back, back, back, back.
[00:22:50] Because in this episode, Jack, I really thought of you.
[00:22:53] Well, mind you, I think of you all the time.
[00:22:54] Whenever I'm watching, and Wendell can attest to this, whenever I'm watching an episode,
[00:22:58] I'm like, I got to tell this to Jack.
[00:22:59] Or Jack said this.
[00:23:00] Or it's a James Jones.
[00:23:01] Like, I don't know why you are, like, my survivor thermometer of, like, whether I think something is a good move.
[00:23:07] And Wendell's like, you do know I won, right?
[00:23:10] I'm like, I don't care about that.
[00:23:11] Jack, no.
[00:23:12] Jack, no.
[00:23:13] But it really has me thinking.
[00:23:15] And I guess it's the holiday season.
[00:23:18] So, I'm going to be nice to you, Jack, this episode.
[00:23:19] So, you're right sometimes.
[00:23:22] And I be wrong a lot of the times.
[00:23:24] And I think, like, with Genevieve, right?
[00:23:26] A couple of episodes ago, I was like, Genevieve, that girl, that girl, that girl.
[00:23:30] She's making these moves.
[00:23:32] And it's like, I guess when you think in hindsight, right?
[00:23:35] Like, you're making these big moves.
[00:23:37] But it's like, I really feel like I love Genevieve.
[00:23:39] But it's almost like she's backed herself into this corner where it's like, you don't really have too many places to go.
[00:23:47] And it's like these power moves that are such power moves two episodes ago.
[00:23:53] Like, it's like Tetris.
[00:23:55] You know when you play in Tetris?
[00:23:56] And it's like, doop, doop, doop.
[00:23:59] And you're like, ooh, that slot right there is really good.
[00:24:02] But then you're like, well, maybe I shouldn't have put that piece that got the thing hanging down right there.
[00:24:09] Maybe I should have flipped it.
[00:24:11] So it's just I'm looking at a lot of different players like Genevieve.
[00:24:16] I'm even looking at players like Kyle where it's like, wow, like these other moves that you've done in the past were really great.
[00:24:23] But you kind of get, like, landlocked.
[00:24:26] I also, my last other comment is maybe as a viewer, we didn't see it.
[00:24:29] But if I'm Gabe watching this episode, my, like, hindsight or Monday morning quarterbacking, like, I didn't realize how much agency Gabe had in this game.
[00:24:43] Because this episode right here, the fact that so many more moving pieces are able to move now because Gabe is out.
[00:24:51] I'm like, Gabe really had that ish on lock.
[00:24:55] There was a lot of fallout.
[00:24:57] There was a lot of, like, all right, now people can get scooped up.
[00:25:01] Now other things can happen.
[00:25:04] Yeah.
[00:25:04] Yeah.
[00:25:05] He might have been the glue guy.
[00:25:09] Don't tell Sam now.
[00:25:11] No shame, but he might have been the glue guy.
[00:25:13] I got a question, guys.
[00:25:14] Is Andy a glue guy?
[00:25:17] Is, like, first of all, how connected is he with everyone?
[00:25:21] Or is it, all right, everyone's just like, yeah, I'm fine going far with Andy.
[00:25:26] Or is it, like, Andy is closer with everyone than anyone?
[00:25:31] See, now, y'all know I love my man Andy.
[00:25:34] My man, my man, my man Andy.
[00:25:35] However, I love Genevieve.
[00:25:38] And I think Genevieve, her post on the game is right on, right?
[00:25:41] Like, you can even see in her spirit and tribal council.
[00:25:44] Jeff's like, first of all, Jeff is a troll.
[00:25:47] Okay?
[00:25:47] Jeff probes F you.
[00:25:49] First of all, you know Genevieve getting beat down.
[00:25:52] Jeff will say, hey, Genevieve, your voice isn't as clear as it was.
[00:25:58] You're hunching down in your seat.
[00:26:00] You look sad.
[00:26:01] Everything okay?
[00:26:02] Like, why would Jeff troll her like that?
[00:26:05] I think he does this to antagonize people.
[00:26:09] So when I was in casting, I think if his perception of you is that you are, like, strong in yourself,
[00:26:15] then he's trying to get you off kilter a little bit so that you can be more raw, more forthcoming with what you're thinking.
[00:26:23] Because nobody's just strong, right?
[00:26:25] They're like, everybody's got insecurities.
[00:26:27] Everybody has self-doubts, whatever.
[00:26:28] So I think that's what he was doing.
[00:26:30] I think he was trying to pull out what's really going on in Genevieve's head because she's so poised and articulate.
[00:26:40] And like, she's so much like we were watching her.
[00:26:43] I remember in the cast assessment, I'm like, that could be the winner right there.
[00:26:47] And we watched her play so strong.
[00:26:49] And like you said, poised, making these moves.
[00:26:51] And we're seeing a different Genevieve now where it's just like, man, this person.
[00:26:57] It's almost like the game doesn't look fun to her anymore.
[00:27:00] It's almost like the product of a lot of strong moves that she made.
[00:27:04] It's catching up to her.
[00:27:06] And she's like, man, like it actually hurt to vote out Kashawn and watch him say that he trusted me or like these other moves.
[00:27:13] It actually hurts me.
[00:27:14] And I think we got a confessional where she said she'd rather be the villain that has to make these tough calls and send people home than a friend who is because then that hurts even more.
[00:27:25] And it's interesting to watch this Genevieve arc right now.
[00:27:30] And especially now that she's not in a power position.
[00:27:32] She's a powerful player.
[00:27:34] But we're watching her like it's almost like she's she's crumbling a little bit or or her her ties are crumbling.
[00:27:40] What I want to see.
[00:27:42] I'm sorry.
[00:27:43] I just want to I want to see her like snap back into the Genevieve we know and like just keep on working these angles.
[00:27:50] We got these three people.
[00:27:51] It's like go look for idols.
[00:27:52] Like try something.
[00:27:53] Don't wallow.
[00:27:54] Don't you know, that's that's.
[00:27:56] Yeah.
[00:27:57] I also think what Genevieve said regarding like even at tribal council, I didn't think it was like the smartest thing for her to say out loud when she was saying I disconnect.
[00:28:08] Right.
[00:28:08] Like I'm not connected to anybody.
[00:28:10] I'm just a player.
[00:28:11] And I'm like Genevieve girl.
[00:28:12] First of all, you can't say that because now everybody looking at you like, well, well, damn, sis.
[00:28:17] I thought we had a moment.
[00:28:18] And I again, I always say this to the people that watch Survivor.
[00:28:22] Right.
[00:28:22] Right.
[00:28:22] Like it is you can go in there being like I'm the mastermind.
[00:28:25] I'm going to play.
[00:28:26] I'm going to do all of this.
[00:28:27] But it's a real game.
[00:28:29] Right.
[00:28:29] Emotions get attached.
[00:28:30] And I think that one of Genevieve's flaws in this is that she's playing as player Genevieve.
[00:28:36] And I really want to quote Gabe or just cite Gabe and Sue's relationship.
[00:28:41] Right.
[00:28:41] Like Gabe made that heart to heart connection.
[00:28:43] Like, and look how ride or die Sue is.
[00:28:47] I really think that like Genevieve got to like morph into like real Genevieve and player Genevieve because it's like it's a business transaction.
[00:28:56] And it's going to be hard to get to the end.
[00:28:58] Now, I mean, you're playing phenomenally, but like you got to have a little heart.
[00:29:01] Like you can't just cut it off.
[00:29:05] I think that some people and I might be like this to compartmentalize.
[00:29:09] So, like I have work Maddie and I have fun Maddie and there are kind of two modes.
[00:29:15] And I wonder if in Genevieve's life she's had to like compartmentalize and that's what she's doing here.
[00:29:21] But I agree with you.
[00:29:22] Like some really successful players like Jam Jam.
[00:29:25] You better believe that Jam Jam in his personal life and Jam Jam at work, they morph.
[00:29:29] And that's why he's so successful in life and survivor, et cetera, is like finding that balance.
[00:29:33] And I feel the same way with both of you.
[00:29:35] Like you can be in production mode doing your thing, but you both have like you're able to incorporate the personal in it.
[00:29:43] And I think that especially in the new era makes people really successful.
[00:29:47] So I agree with you, Bryce, if she can come back into her body and find the balance.
[00:29:53] But I can see the psychology that she's working through of like almost maybe wondering like what's the point of this game?
[00:30:00] Or like or she's trying to stick to the point of the game, but forgetting that like it's complicated.
[00:30:07] I'm wondering for people that played longer.
[00:30:08] I mean, I certainly felt that even in the first three days, like I did sort of feel like I thought I wanted to do this.
[00:30:13] And now I'm wondering if like if I'm cut out for it.
[00:30:17] Was there a point for either of you?
[00:30:19] And Jack, you were on Survivor 2, so you speak to this.
[00:30:23] Whenever I'm with Jack at Survivor, people are like, who's this?
[00:30:28] I'm like, Jack, he's from Survivor.
[00:30:30] Like, duh.
[00:30:36] Yeah, I want to know if you guys felt that.
[00:30:39] I think I did from the opposite angle, right?
[00:30:41] Like I think that like for me, it was more the emotional side and the connection side.
[00:30:46] And it wasn't so much of like the gameplay and the aspect because for me, it's just a little different.
[00:30:53] Like I just I was just unable to penetrate the majority of my tribe.
[00:30:58] Like they couldn't really see the business price.
[00:31:00] Even when I would try to present it, they just like, oh, OK.
[00:31:03] And so it was more like the emotional side.
[00:31:06] I another just real quick thing that you said about like Genevieve, work Genevieve and personal Genevieve.
[00:31:12] I just need Genevieve to go to the holiday party.
[00:31:15] Right.
[00:31:15] Like just get to the holiday party, Genevieve, where it's like work and personal a little bit like that.
[00:31:21] Like that's the perfect mix we need.
[00:31:23] Yeah.
[00:31:23] You can loosen up a little bit at the holiday party.
[00:31:26] Just don't OD.
[00:31:27] Right.
[00:31:29] So Genevieve's case is interesting because she came in playing pretty savage pretty early, right?
[00:31:35] With the Keyshawn vote, with the Saul vote.
[00:31:38] And, you know, that's sometimes something, you know, that those big betrayals, a lot of times people save that for the end of the game.
[00:31:44] And for her, I wonder, to me, I mean, A, it was clear how much it affected Teenie, who was someone that she was close to.
[00:31:52] And maybe that hurt.
[00:31:53] And part of me also wonders like, hey, outside of Genevieve's feelings about it, maybe it's like she makes this big move and all of a sudden people don't really trust her because of this move.
[00:32:03] She's kind of on the outs.
[00:32:04] And maybe part of her is thinking like, oh, when I play a little bit more savagely, that lands me on the outside like it did last time, which isn't necessarily a direct result, but just because of the move that she made.
[00:32:16] So maybe she's like, oh, I did all this and now I'm on the bottom.
[00:32:21] And it's like maybe she's just kind of correlating those things with like, oh, that was bad because now I'm in a bad spot.
[00:32:28] When it's like, no, if you can flip that switch back on at the right time, get to that holiday party or up a little eggnog, do a little white Christmas or white elephant or whatever it is.
[00:32:40] White elephant.
[00:32:41] White elephant.
[00:32:44] Then she can be back in a good spot.
[00:32:46] So I'm hoping, you know, maybe she's now she's survived a couple tribals where she was kind of the second option.
[00:32:52] Maybe she can be like, all right, I got a second life in this game.
[00:32:55] I'm playing with some house money.
[00:32:56] Let me get, you know, back in my zone.
[00:32:58] But I'm definitely she's a great player, but I'm a little bit worried with the spot that she's ended up in.
[00:33:03] Can I ask the group a question?
[00:33:07] Genevieve said something that was interesting towards the end of the episode.
[00:33:12] Andy, y'all know I love my man, Andy.
[00:33:14] I am hoping that Andy can win.
[00:33:16] And I'm hoping that Andy gets far.
[00:33:18] Do we think it might be a case of editing in the sense of we are seeing this Andy that is this mastermind?
[00:33:26] We are loving him.
[00:33:27] I mean, I love him.
[00:33:29] It was interesting when Genevieve started poaching people and she was like, these people that we just bringing on along.
[00:33:36] Like, how about we get rid of them?
[00:33:37] And she mentions Andy.
[00:33:40] And Sue, right?
[00:33:42] And Sue, right.
[00:33:43] Right.
[00:33:43] But more specifically, Andy, because they don't really show Sue that the editors as somebody like Sue was just loyal and riding on.
[00:33:51] But with Andy, it's like even if Andy is doing all of these great things, it's perception that matters.
[00:33:56] And it's like, I don't know.
[00:33:57] I just thought that was really telling that she would name an Andy.
[00:34:01] And I'm like, wow.
[00:34:02] Is do they still not see Andy for all like and is that a good position for Andy to be in?
[00:34:08] Or is that like not great for Andy to be in is the question.
[00:34:12] That's a good question.
[00:34:14] I think that since Andy's first day when he when he fell out on the sand and did all of that.
[00:34:19] I need it all.
[00:34:22] I'm dying.
[00:34:23] What is it?
[00:34:24] Like, they're not clapping for me.
[00:34:26] All of that.
[00:34:26] Right.
[00:34:27] I think everyone looked at him differently from then on.
[00:34:30] And I think that helps an Andy get to the end of the game.
[00:34:33] It's like people are looking at him like not taking him as seriously.
[00:34:37] But that also helps Andy because now we're getting these awesome confessionals where he's like he is making moves, but he's also being the Andy that we saw on day one.
[00:34:45] Like there are multiple sides to Andy.
[00:34:47] So you have a Genevieve who has been playing the game, making tough moves, like really playing Survivor since day one.
[00:34:55] And she might look at an Andy like we saw him on day one.
[00:34:58] But in actuality, Andy is making he's talking to people like and again, it's easier to get to the end of the game when people look at you as someone they want to sit next to.
[00:35:10] So it could be a two way street.
[00:35:11] But Andy is still opening those doors and having these conversations and sitting in his confessionals and explaining his moves.
[00:35:18] So I think there's a world where Andy does get to the end of the game and he does receive some votes because he made a lot of these connections and he's able to articulate it.
[00:35:28] But I also think there's a world where he gets some votes, but people are mad at him for the same thing that he admitted to in this tribal council where he was like, I lied to all of their faces and sent them home.
[00:35:41] So like I could see people appreciating that and I could see people bitter about that.
[00:35:47] But I can certainly see Andy sitting somewhere at the end.
[00:35:50] And I think, you know, I think, you know, we heard early in the season all these high school analogies about like I only had four friends.
[00:36:07] I wasn't sitting at the cool kids table.
[00:36:09] And to me now, Andy's gameplay kind of feels like someone who wants to see that cool kids table.
[00:36:17] And maybe there's a few different cool kids tables and Andy's put himself in a position where it's like, oh, I could grab my chicken nuggets from the lunch lady.
[00:36:25] And I could go sit at a couple of different tables, which is great in terms of his connections.
[00:36:29] But I don't really think he's a core.
[00:36:31] We talked about, is he a glue guy?
[00:36:33] I don't think so.
[00:36:34] He's someone who could bounce around in these different spots, but he's not that core person for any of the groups.
[00:36:40] And he's got a lot of agency, it seems like, and a lot of connections.
[00:36:43] But and we see him time and time again getting confessionals like, oh, I mean, I could do whatever I want.
[00:36:48] But I look at it, I'm like, has he really made any game winning moves yet?
[00:36:54] Not really.
[00:36:55] Like we see this episode, he wants to go for Genevieve, which I actually think is the right move.
[00:37:00] But he kind of gets written off like the case he makes.
[00:37:03] And Bryce, talking about Kyle's immunity, Ron, you guys were like, no one's out there thinking that.
[00:37:10] My boy Andy is.
[00:37:12] But he makes this case and it just doesn't really get a lot of traction.
[00:37:16] So for me, it feels like Andy's, it reminds me of high school.
[00:37:19] There's kids where, you know, they'll try to get in with every crew, but they don't really have their own squad.
[00:37:24] And that's going to get him in trouble.
[00:37:26] Not to mention, like you said, where he's talking to the jury like, I lied to all their faces.
[00:37:30] It feels a little bit like braggadocious.
[00:37:34] Like he's kind of rubbing it in and it's not so much, there's not enough finesse right there.
[00:37:38] So I really, I think Andy could go real far, but I don't think anyone's really taken his game super seriously.
[00:37:44] So I think he's going to get to the end.
[00:37:46] I think he played a Tony Vlaco's game and really like laid on the jury and then maybe get like one to zero votes is kind of how I feel.
[00:37:55] Are there any glue people out there?
[00:38:00] Me, I think.
[00:38:01] I would say Rachel's the most gluey.
[00:38:04] And she's in this underdog alliance where she's, I think, the best player in that group right now.
[00:38:11] And she's got some tricks up her sleeve with an idol, with a block of vote and some clear targets in front of her.
[00:38:16] So if I was a betting man, I'd bet the house on Rachel because I think she's going to be able to get to five pretty easily.
[00:38:22] Maybe play her idol, maybe win a challenge, do well in fire and really have a good case at the end.
[00:38:27] So now, well, I want to hear your thoughts, Maddie.
[00:38:30] Who, who did you say you thought was the glue?
[00:38:33] So I think socially teeny, but I actually want to pull on the thread that Jack was going with there.
[00:38:40] Do we think, OK, we're there.
[00:38:42] Like, imagine being there, not watching it.
[00:38:45] Are people not seeing, be there, Bryce.
[00:38:48] Are people not seeing Rachel?
[00:38:52] There are a lot of distractions.
[00:38:54] You got Kyle winning everything.
[00:38:56] You got Sam, this, this guy who he's a loner, but he's like this big, handsome, whatever guy.
[00:39:01] And you have Jenna who has made these moves.
[00:39:03] So there's a lot of distractions if you ask me.
[00:39:06] And in, in, in Rachel's case, now she like, yeah, if she makes it to the end, she can win.
[00:39:13] She has an arsenal.
[00:39:14] She has a, what is it?
[00:39:15] Block of vote.
[00:39:16] She has, she just won immunity.
[00:39:18] She, she went on this journey.
[00:39:20] Like, but what I'm scared of is if Rachel goes out like really close to the end.
[00:39:26] So because she has everything in her pocket that could get her, it could propel her right
[00:39:31] to, you know, fire making or something like that.
[00:39:33] I'm scared that the, whoever sees that and they're like, we have one shot to get her out.
[00:39:39] Fire making.
[00:39:41] That's why I think she's a good spot because if they take that shot at her, then they're
[00:39:45] going to let a Jenna game or a Sam slide through who seems to be a more obvious target.
[00:39:49] Even if right now their games might not stack up with Rachel's as well.
[00:39:53] Sorry, guys, but yeah.
[00:39:54] No, I was going to say what, I think what I love the most about Rachel is it's like,
[00:39:57] she don't want none of this, right?
[00:39:59] Like she's been a solid player and she hasn't been really seeking out all of these things
[00:40:04] that kind of is coming to her.
[00:40:05] And she's kind of like, you think of Andy, how Andy's like, I'm going to do all of this.
[00:40:09] And she's like, I don't want none of this.
[00:40:11] However, let me see what I can do and how I can do it.
[00:40:14] It's this weird feeling that like I like about Rachel's position where it's like, she's
[00:40:19] been on the bottom.
[00:40:20] She's been screwed over.
[00:40:21] She's been in these well enough positions.
[00:40:24] She has these relationships that like she didn't necessarily want.
[00:40:29] They've screwed her over.
[00:40:30] And now it's like, all right, we got to figure this out.
[00:40:33] I don't know what's like that, this hungerness in her, but I do want to say something because
[00:40:37] what all y'all going to do is stop playing with my girl.
[00:40:41] You said, who's a glue person.
[00:40:42] I hear not one of y'all say the right thing.
[00:40:47] And the right one is careful of a lie.
[00:40:52] Okay.
[00:40:53] Like let's give our queen her flowers.
[00:40:55] First of all, her story about the ADHD.
[00:40:59] Y'all know me.
[00:41:00] I'm an emotional person.
[00:41:01] I cry, but hearing her talk about being her younger self and trying to get tasks done,
[00:41:09] but she couldn't get tasks done because she could always focus on different stuff.
[00:41:12] And she just was so hard on herself.
[00:41:14] And she was like, felt like she like, when I met me, the way that hit me, I'm like your
[00:41:18] youngest self, Caroline, baby.
[00:41:20] I'm in my early to late thirties.
[00:41:23] And I'm struggling with that right now.
[00:41:25] Like that was such a real moment.
[00:41:28] And in my opinion, to know that about Caroline and to see the way that she's able to maneuver
[00:41:34] through this game in such an authentic, honest way.
[00:41:39] I've been saying all season.
[00:41:41] It's so refreshing.
[00:41:41] Like she had to turn on Gabe and pissed off Sue.
[00:41:46] She ain't run from it.
[00:41:48] She said, Hey, Sue, Gabe was telling me everything to do.
[00:41:52] And I like, I came to play and I can't play with the way he's doing.
[00:41:56] And I like, and Sue was like, you know what?
[00:41:59] I love that girl.
[00:42:00] Right?
[00:42:01] Like in the midst of the tribal council, when Jeffrey is beating up on my girl, Genevieve.
[00:42:08] Oh yeah.
[00:42:09] Yeah.
[00:42:10] Caroline is like, well, actually, Jeff, well, actually words that I listened to her from
[00:42:16] a great survivor that say, you know, when the smoke is smoking, light a joint, you know,
[00:42:22] and he like, well, who said that?
[00:42:24] And she's like, Caroline, like, I don't know.
[00:42:25] So it's, it's, it's her.
[00:42:29] I don't know.
[00:42:30] I can't describe.
[00:42:31] She's a great communicator.
[00:42:32] Right.
[00:42:33] And she seems like a great friend, like in Survivor and in life.
[00:42:36] I agree with you there.
[00:42:38] Like she, she knows, like we said earlier, you could tell she's works kind of corporate
[00:42:42] with some of the lingo she uses, but she's also very like empathetic.
[00:42:45] And, and yeah, she's someone.
[00:42:49] She cut Gabe when she needed to cut Gabe.
[00:42:52] Like, you know, like she, I said, but, but then when I was watching this,
[00:42:55] this episode though, when I was watching this episode and I'm like, girl,
[00:43:00] I think you cut the wrong person.
[00:43:03] I, there's a world where she should have kind of maybe cut Sue.
[00:43:06] Could you like, and have Gabe still there?
[00:43:09] Because they would have still like, I, I just, that would pop into my mind.
[00:43:12] Like, Caroline, I think you might've should have got Sue.
[00:43:15] But Sue so loyal.
[00:43:17] Like the way that Sue was talking about who came up to, oh, Rachel.
[00:43:21] Rachel.
[00:43:21] Rachel shared that immediately.
[00:43:23] Sue opens her heart and is like, now I trust you.
[00:43:26] You know, that, that, that I feel like that's hard to get rid of.
[00:43:30] Right.
[00:43:31] Do you think that Gabe was loyal to Caroline?
[00:43:34] I, I don't think Gabe was really loyal to anybody.
[00:43:37] Like he just used her, like I'm not used her, but I think like it was good.
[00:43:42] So it was good.
[00:43:42] Yeah.
[00:43:44] Can I, I think.
[00:43:46] Can I tell y'all the most funniest moment of the episode when I rewatched it?
[00:43:52] Tell.
[00:43:53] And also it was like a humble brag.
[00:43:56] When Rachel.
[00:43:57] No, no.
[00:43:59] When Rachel won.
[00:44:00] The immunity.
[00:44:02] The, the, the bat, the bat necklace.
[00:44:05] It's ridiculous.
[00:44:06] They came back to camp.
[00:44:07] And she turned to Kyle and said, where do I put this?
[00:44:12] I don't even know where to put it.
[00:44:14] Kyle was like, Hey, it go right over here.
[00:44:16] Put it up right there.
[00:44:18] Push it back.
[00:44:19] And it won't.
[00:44:19] I don't know why I thought that was so funny that she literally had to go to
[00:44:23] Kyle and say, where do I put this mother effer?
[00:44:27] Kyle's like, it go right there.
[00:44:30] He should have said, put it around my neck.
[00:44:32] Yeah.
[00:44:33] Can you do that?
[00:44:35] Can you bequeath the necklace to anyone?
[00:44:37] Yes.
[00:44:38] It hasn't happened in a while.
[00:44:41] Maddie.
[00:44:42] Eric is the last person, right?
[00:44:44] Who didn't?
[00:44:45] I think Brandon Hance did it too, right?
[00:44:49] So can we, I was thinking that, sorry, I'm all chaotic.
[00:44:53] You're good.
[00:44:54] You're good.
[00:44:54] I'll up.
[00:44:55] Kyle's my mouth.
[00:44:55] Jack, since you are the only real survivor player here, what are the rules?
[00:45:01] Why is Maddie catching the shades?
[00:45:02] No, I mean, not Maddie.
[00:45:03] No, no.
[00:45:04] Jack, since you and Maddie, sorry, are the only real survivor player here,
[00:45:07] what is the rule about that?
[00:45:10] Because I'll bet when I say that has kept me up at night so many times, right?
[00:45:15] So you can give your necklace to somebody.
[00:45:17] However, do you have to make a proclamation soon as you get to tribal?
[00:45:23] Or can you use it like an idol when after the votes are counted and just said, does anybody
[00:45:28] have an idol?
[00:45:29] Do you know?
[00:45:29] It has to be before the votes are cast.
[00:45:33] Yeah.
[00:45:33] You can't use it like an idol on someone else.
[00:45:36] Okay.
[00:45:37] Then that kind of takes the power out of it.
[00:45:38] Exactly.
[00:45:39] That's why it's like no one really does it because then you're just like completely exposed.
[00:45:44] So, yeah.
[00:45:47] It would be, I'm sure at some point it'd probably happen again.
[00:45:50] You know, they just got to, and now they cast all people that know the game and they
[00:45:55] know nobody does that.
[00:45:56] So it's just kind of now it's like, no one's going to do it.
[00:45:57] But back in the day, you'd have people that would be like, why not?
[00:46:02] Right.
[00:46:03] But is there a world where I could give it to Maddie?
[00:46:05] But like, just have her wear it.
[00:46:07] I'm not giving it to her.
[00:46:08] She just wears it at tribal.
[00:46:10] But then I'm sure Jeff would then ask.
[00:46:13] But because that would throw a lot of people off.
[00:46:15] Like, why the hell is Maddie wearing?
[00:46:18] That would be so fun.
[00:46:19] Wait, I hope someone does that.
[00:46:21] Yeah.
[00:46:23] 48ers, 49ers.
[00:46:24] Wait, 48 already happened.
[00:46:25] 49ers listening.
[00:46:27] 50ers listening.
[00:46:27] Make it happy.
[00:46:27] 50ers listening.
[00:46:29] Jack's friend, Michael.
[00:46:32] Michael.
[00:46:33] Maybe there's a world where you like fake give away the necklace beforehand and be like,
[00:46:37] I'm going to give it to Maddie.
[00:46:38] And then maybe people aren't like, Maddie's off the table.
[00:46:42] And then Maddie can give it back to me.
[00:46:44] And then, oh, maybe Maddie's name wasn't circulating as much because of that.
[00:46:47] But that would be, I don't know.
[00:46:49] That would be pretty, pretty dicey.
[00:46:51] But I want to see the order of operations.
[00:46:53] Like, obviously the Mutant Indian necklace is old.
[00:46:56] But like with the new stuff, like I want to know, because when I played, you could play
[00:47:02] your shot in the dark, see people play their shot in the dark and then play your idol.
[00:47:08] So I want to know, like in their rulebook, because I'm sure they have a real rulebook
[00:47:12] to keep it all fair.
[00:47:13] I want to know, like what else is like that, where it's like order of operations, like
[00:47:17] you can like, and obviously if they're letting people play their idol after the shots in the
[00:47:21] dark, then that's like an admission of like the shot in the dark is not as powerful.
[00:47:25] Right.
[00:47:26] Because otherwise, if it was like an idol, you'd have to play it all at the same time.
[00:47:29] Or maybe they messed up.
[00:47:31] I don't know.
[00:47:32] Well, I think it's shot in the dark.
[00:47:33] Then you can, that's like why Rachel partly used.
[00:47:36] Right.
[00:47:37] And then if it, you know, she could gauge the reactions, whatever.
[00:47:42] You want to know a random, but has to do with the shot in the dark.
[00:47:46] You want to know another funny moment where Jeff was like trying to get his point across,
[00:47:51] but I don't think it didn't hit the way he wanted it to hit.
[00:47:54] You know, everyone with their shot in the dark with the rice thing, like, you know, Jeff
[00:47:58] was like, oh, that's going to be a big one.
[00:48:00] And when he did it, he was like, it's going to come back to bite y'all.
[00:48:03] But it hasn't really.
[00:48:05] So Jeff was like, oh, so I mean, Andy did.
[00:48:10] Did it change anything?
[00:48:13] Nobody had their shot in the dark.
[00:48:15] Like it didn't hit Jeff, but all right.
[00:48:20] Let's let's talk about these, this journey challenge.
[00:48:23] And then after we can get into the initial, I thought this journey challenge was a lot
[00:48:26] of fun.
[00:48:26] Like the puzzle itself is a little hard to follow because you just moving, moving around
[00:48:32] balls.
[00:48:33] Oh, right.
[00:48:35] So I think you would have won that challenge.
[00:48:38] But I love like the anchor.
[00:48:41] I love like the anchor weight timer.
[00:48:44] It was so creative.
[00:48:45] It was something you've never seen before.
[00:48:47] The puzzle getting pulled off the float was just like so fun.
[00:48:53] So much better than like an hourglass.
[00:48:55] So props to whoever, you know, designed this one.
[00:48:59] Are we over the journeys?
[00:49:01] Do we think it's too many journeys and too many rewards?
[00:49:06] Because I was thinking about you, Jack.
[00:49:07] So it's funny that anytime I think that we're going to be on the same page, I thought that
[00:49:11] no, the puzzle, all of this was fun.
[00:49:14] But I thought that you would be like, it's too many, like too many advantages.
[00:49:20] Are we happy with another journey?
[00:49:22] Right now?
[00:49:23] I think we're okay.
[00:49:24] But it's, you know, it depends on the circumstances.
[00:49:27] There hasn't been a journey in a couple episodes, right?
[00:49:29] And the last one was more for them to just get their votes back.
[00:49:33] So I don't know.
[00:49:34] There hasn't been that many journeys this season where there is like, I guess it was early
[00:49:37] in the season.
[00:49:38] But now this is just kind of a random one.
[00:49:41] I don't know.
[00:49:42] I wasn't mad at it.
[00:49:43] And it was kind of a slow episode.
[00:49:45] So a little something in there to keep things moving.
[00:49:49] I agree, Jack.
[00:49:50] I hate a journey.
[00:49:52] Get rid of them.
[00:49:53] I hate them.
[00:49:53] But this one, I actually didn't mind.
[00:49:56] I thought it was fun because they changed it up.
[00:49:58] Like it's the little things.
[00:50:00] Having her in the water instead of going up a mountain.
[00:50:03] Like we're always going up a mountain these days.
[00:50:08] Yeah, 41 or whatever, where there was a journey like every episode.
[00:50:12] I'm good on that.
[00:50:13] But now and again, it keeps it keeps a little more fresh to a little more surprising.
[00:50:18] So I like this challenge.
[00:50:20] And then I mean, Wendell, what do you think of this challenge?
[00:50:23] I thought it was a cool journey.
[00:50:25] They talk about it a little on the On Fire pod, how they, you know, an hourglass is basic.
[00:50:30] But someone was like, why don't we throw a rock with a rope off of a barge and it'll pull the table.
[00:50:41] And then they're, you know, trying to figure out how to make it work.
[00:50:43] They're like, all right, if we did that, it'll have to be way in the middle of the ocean.
[00:50:46] So now we have this mechanism that has a few of them that go down.
[00:50:50] And I thought it was super cool.
[00:50:52] I thought the engineering aspect of it was dope.
[00:50:55] And they pulled it off and how Rachel just got it just before it fell.
[00:50:59] I think it was awesome.
[00:51:00] I think it was awesome.
[00:51:01] When she started.
[00:51:03] Oh, go ahead, Jack.
[00:51:04] I was going to say, it's the kind of like effort and innovation that I love to see from like the challenge or the whatever department where it's just good to see them.
[00:51:13] I'm sure that took a lot of effort, but it's definitely appreciated, you know, compared to the usual.
[00:51:18] Let's send them on a hike and they could like pick a scroll.
[00:51:22] Agree.
[00:51:23] Yeah, the innovation doesn't go unnoticed and it made for good TV.
[00:51:27] And also when she started, I said out loud, I don't know if she's going to finish this.
[00:51:32] I mean, I don't know.
[00:51:32] I said to my family, I was like, they test this.
[00:51:34] So it's possible.
[00:51:35] But this feels not possible.
[00:51:38] How fast the rope was going.
[00:51:40] That was cool.
[00:51:42] Even though the rope wasn't near her leg, I was getting nervous because I was thinking like if I were up there for some reason, I just feel like the rope would get me.
[00:51:50] And while I'm doing the puzzle, I'll be like.
[00:51:54] That's what I was thinking about.
[00:51:56] You guys, I'm sitting in my dad's chair is like literally 40 years old.
[00:52:00] It is leaning, but it's so comfy.
[00:52:02] I'm going to change this.
[00:52:03] It looks comfortable.
[00:52:04] I'm leaning.
[00:52:06] Oh my gosh.
[00:52:07] Bye.
[00:52:12] Somebody I love this season, but I was like a little, like not disappointed.
[00:52:18] And the only way that I could like think of it is in a song.
[00:52:24] Tell me if you know this song, Maddie, but don't say it out loud.
[00:52:27] But really, this is for you, Jack.
[00:52:30] My melody going to be a little off though, but I was young and in love.
[00:52:36] I gave you everything, but it wasn't good enough.
[00:52:39] And now you want to communicate.
[00:52:42] You better go find somebody else.
[00:52:45] I'm letting you know the problem.
[00:52:46] Get out.
[00:52:47] Wait.
[00:52:47] It's just a little too late.
[00:52:49] Get out right now.
[00:52:52] It's the end of you and me.
[00:52:55] Too late.
[00:52:56] Hold on.
[00:52:59] Okay.
[00:53:00] But it's enough to know because Maddie know it.
[00:53:02] Jack, artist title.
[00:53:05] Didn't even sound like you were singing a song.
[00:53:09] Give me another little snippet.
[00:53:12] Bryce, I'll back you up.
[00:53:13] Thank you.
[00:53:17] Bryce has to read the lyrics.
[00:53:19] Yeah, I do.
[00:53:20] Because I think it's just a little too late.
[00:53:27] Too wrong.
[00:53:29] And I can't wait.
[00:53:33] Right now.
[00:53:37] I'm making it worse.
[00:53:38] Because I think I'm mixing two songs.
[00:53:41] If half of the song is you humming it, it's going to be hard for Bryce to know, for Jack to know the title.
[00:53:46] To be fair, Bryce.
[00:53:48] I love you.
[00:53:49] I love you.
[00:53:50] Okay, okay.
[00:53:52] So I'm going to guess.
[00:53:54] Listen, no.
[00:53:55] He's going to get it.
[00:53:56] I was young and in love.
[00:53:58] I gave you everything, but it wasn't good enough.
[00:54:01] And now you want to communicate.
[00:54:08] Go find somebody else.
[00:54:10] I'm letting go.
[00:54:11] And I'm loving myself.
[00:54:13] Okay.
[00:54:14] Yes.
[00:54:16] I'm going to guess there's something wrong.
[00:54:19] I'm going to say it's by Aaliyah.
[00:54:23] Okay.
[00:54:25] I can see that in her arsenal, you know.
[00:54:29] Title?
[00:54:31] Uh-huh.
[00:54:32] I would say Too Late.
[00:54:34] Okay.
[00:54:35] Is that right?
[00:54:36] Too Late.
[00:54:37] Too Little Too Late.
[00:54:39] By the iconic, the classic JoJo.
[00:54:41] But mind you, I think I was mixing up her two songs.
[00:54:44] But I think all of that had to say.
[00:54:47] JoJo.
[00:54:49] Is it really called Too Late?
[00:54:50] I thought it was called Get Out.
[00:54:52] So no.
[00:54:53] It's Too Little Too Late.
[00:54:54] But I also think it's like Get Out.
[00:54:56] But I also think I was singing Get Out.
[00:54:59] I think Little Too Late is like a different song.
[00:55:02] Oh!
[00:55:03] So I think that's what's the issue.
[00:55:05] But Too Little Too Late.
[00:55:08] For who?
[00:55:09] My man, Kyle.
[00:55:11] Give me the whole song.
[00:55:13] Okay.
[00:55:14] You said I got to go harder, Jack.
[00:55:16] Kyle.
[00:55:17] Kyle, Kyle, Kyle, Kyle, Kyle, Kyle.
[00:55:19] I love Kyle.
[00:55:21] Lord knows I do.
[00:55:23] However, I just felt like this was the only episode that like I saw Kyle talk.
[00:55:30] Like, I don't know.
[00:55:30] Like, I felt like he was close with Gabe.
[00:55:33] But who else?
[00:55:34] Like, where were your connections?
[00:55:37] And to hear Andy say like, oh, we know what Kyle would talk about in the tent.
[00:55:41] Obviously, he's a family man.
[00:55:42] He loves his family.
[00:55:43] He loves his kid.
[00:55:43] Like, we love Kyle.
[00:55:44] But like, I wish I would have seen like a Kyle and Caroline.
[00:55:48] A Kyle and Teenie.
[00:55:49] Like, I don't know.
[00:55:50] I just felt like at this episode, we saw him kind of trying to make end roles or trying
[00:55:54] to say like, I can't win all the chance.
[00:55:56] I don't know.
[00:55:57] I just wanted more from Kyle because I feel like Kyle was great.
[00:56:01] And I felt like the little big alliance or the underdogs, they made the wrong decision.
[00:56:08] Right?
[00:56:08] Like, like I would sit next to Kyle.
[00:56:12] I'll take my chances with Kyle.
[00:56:13] You got to get the shark, the beast, Genevieve out.
[00:56:17] Like, I just felt like if Kyle is such the easy vote, we all can agree on this.
[00:56:22] He ain't going nowhere.
[00:56:24] Right?
[00:56:25] Like, he ain't.
[00:56:25] Period.
[00:56:26] Let him stay.
[00:56:27] I thought it was an interesting choice, too.
[00:56:30] I was actually really surprised that they went through with it.
[00:56:33] I want to know what Genevieve did to stay.
[00:56:38] Well.
[00:56:39] Because they made it look like it was up in the air, but the votes show that it was like
[00:56:42] it was all Kyle.
[00:56:43] Yeah.
[00:56:43] If you ask me, you take Kyle out.
[00:56:45] And it's because I, first of all, I'm mad at the Andy math.
[00:56:50] Talk about he has a 6.25 chance of winning these next challenges.
[00:56:54] You take him out because this man has won four out of how many challenges?
[00:56:58] How many?
[00:56:59] Five.
[00:57:00] Four out of five challenges.
[00:57:01] That's all I need to know.
[00:57:02] So going forward, this is the guy that has been killing us all post-merge.
[00:57:09] So he has a higher likelihood, based on what has happened, of winning more challenges.
[00:57:16] So let me get him out of the way because he can win next week and make this vote.
[00:57:21] All right.
[00:57:22] Then we have, then we, this is one time that we have to strike on him.
[00:57:26] Let's get him out of the way because now other people have opportunities to win.
[00:57:29] And yes, now we can get Genevieve out at any other point.
[00:57:32] That's all I'm saying.
[00:57:33] Let me ask you this question.
[00:57:34] Final two, Wendell.
[00:57:37] You are at the end.
[00:57:39] Final two.
[00:57:40] You want to sit next to Kyle or you want to sit next to Genevieve?
[00:57:44] I would like to get out.
[00:57:45] I just need a name.
[00:57:46] I ask one.
[00:57:47] Just a name.
[00:57:48] Sometimes you only have one shot.
[00:57:50] Just a name.
[00:57:51] Yes.
[00:57:52] That was the, Maddie, I believe that was the question.
[00:57:54] I'm only asking for a name.
[00:57:57] I just, one word response.
[00:57:59] Your, your honor.
[00:58:01] Yes.
[00:58:02] Jack, order the, order the witness to answer the question.
[00:58:08] Order the court.
[00:58:11] We don't get final twos.
[00:58:13] Your honor.
[00:58:16] Jack, permission to treat the witness hostile.
[00:58:20] I guarantee you Genevieve goes home within the next two votes.
[00:58:25] I guarantee it.
[00:58:25] Timing is everything.
[00:58:26] Your honor, Jack.
[00:58:27] You only have one shot.
[00:58:28] Get your client in check.
[00:58:30] Timing.
[00:58:30] Maddie.
[00:58:31] I'm going to, I'm going to let Wendell go because people have been saying they need
[00:58:35] more from him and I'm going to give him more than one word.
[00:58:39] See?
[00:58:40] And I don't question, Wendell, just one word.
[00:58:42] If you're at the end, if you ever could get to the end again, which we know we can't,
[00:58:46] Wendell's at War has proven that.
[00:58:47] But if you could get to the end again and you could only sit next to one person, I just
[00:58:52] need an answer.
[00:58:54] Genevieve or no.
[00:58:55] Just say a letter.
[00:58:56] G or K.
[00:58:58] That's all I'm looking for.
[00:58:59] Three people sit at the end.
[00:59:02] Okay.
[00:59:04] No, Jack.
[00:59:04] Get him to answer it, Jack.
[00:59:06] Well, okay.
[00:59:07] But he's saying like, maybe you would rather sit next to Kyle.
[00:59:11] I would rather sit next to Kyle.
[00:59:12] Thank you.
[00:59:13] But Genevieve, there might be more opportunities to take her out.
[00:59:17] So he's not saying he wants to go to the end with her, but it might be easier to get
[00:59:20] her out next time.
[00:59:21] But I agree with you, Bryce and Maddie.
[00:59:24] I think that A, Kyle isn't a huge threat at the end necessarily.
[00:59:27] And B, I'm kind of on board with this Andy math to some extent.
[00:59:33] Because, right, I just think, and I said four out of, he's won four out of six.
[00:59:37] One of them, he didn't really win.
[00:59:41] Like, right?
[00:59:41] He was still, he went out before Teeny and Genevieve.
[00:59:44] So call it three out of six.
[00:59:45] That's where Andy gets the 50%.
[00:59:47] And then 50% for four more challenges is about 6%.
[00:59:51] Christian Hubecki had a great tweet about all this if anyone wants to look at math.
[00:59:55] But the thing is, the math, it's a little bit of a simplified math, right?
[00:59:59] Because there's more at play here.
[01:00:00] I think, obviously, the numbers get whittled down.
[01:00:03] If Kyle's against fewer people, easier to win.
[01:00:05] But at the same time, a lot of those challenges that happen later on,
[01:00:09] there might be some more puzzles going on.
[01:00:11] And like I said last week, you put me in a puzzle against Kyle.
[01:00:15] No disrespect to Kyle.
[01:00:17] Not even me specifically, but if I'm out there.
[01:00:23] Jack ain't even been on an island.
[01:00:25] And he is threatening someone who has won four challenges.
[01:00:29] No puzzles.
[01:00:32] If I'm out there, if I'm a Rachel or I'm a Sam
[01:00:35] or I'm a Genevieve or whoever, or Andy,
[01:00:38] you put me in a puzzle against Kyle,
[01:00:41] I'm going to like my odds more than you put me on like
[01:00:44] a plank bounce and stuff.
[01:00:47] Like, so.
[01:00:48] The other thing.
[01:00:50] Wait, Jack.
[01:00:53] Yeah, no, because you don't want to answer a question.
[01:00:55] I'm going to cut you off.
[01:00:56] Jack, question.
[01:00:57] Last week, you said you're not really on Twitter.
[01:00:59] You don't use Twitter much.
[01:01:01] No.
[01:01:02] Okay, so.
[01:01:03] But wait, so you like after the episodes,
[01:01:06] you do like peruse Survivor Twitter to see what the people say.
[01:01:09] I didn't see that on Twitter.
[01:01:10] I saw that on, I think Survivor T made a TikTok about that tweet.
[01:01:15] And I watched it.
[01:01:16] But I don't.
[01:01:17] Yeah.
[01:01:18] The other thing that we considered was, okay,
[01:01:23] if we're not, if like you said, Bryce,
[01:01:25] you'd rather sit next to a Kyle than a Genevieve at the end.
[01:01:27] I get it.
[01:01:28] I agree.
[01:01:28] If we considered, all right,
[01:01:31] even if Kyle can win everything out,
[01:01:33] if we're not scared of this man at the end,
[01:01:36] go right ahead.
[01:01:37] Win as many as you want.
[01:01:38] But other people might have to play an even different,
[01:01:41] more, you know, whatever game to sit at the end.
[01:01:45] So like, just because basically like Kyle pitched,
[01:01:48] the mere fact that you're winning challenges doesn't mean that you're
[01:01:51] going to win at the end of the game.
[01:01:53] Yeah.
[01:01:54] But getting rid of this guy,
[01:01:56] like I think they had,
[01:01:58] they have,
[01:01:58] they have these three people that they want to get rid of.
[01:02:00] They have an alliance of five.
[01:02:01] So, all right,
[01:02:02] we have a shot to get rid of one.
[01:02:03] Cool.
[01:02:04] Now we have an alliance of five versus two.
[01:02:06] All right.
[01:02:06] We will have a shot to get rid of the next two and the next two.
[01:02:09] And they might have,
[01:02:10] it might be easier to win the immunity now.
[01:02:12] Like I agree with that.
[01:02:13] And I think the thing is,
[01:02:14] I think this move goes over because most of the people outside of Kyle,
[01:02:18] I think feel better about their chances at seven.
[01:02:22] Then like if Kyle is still at,
[01:02:23] right.
[01:02:23] They all think they have some options.
[01:02:25] They might not all have those options,
[01:02:28] but,
[01:02:28] and I think for Sam and Genevieve,
[01:02:30] they'd probably rather lose Kyle than to lose the other person.
[01:02:34] Cause Sam and Genevieve would actually be a strong duo moving forward.
[01:02:37] That can make some things happen.
[01:02:38] But if I'm on the bottom stuck with Kyle,
[01:02:41] again,
[01:02:42] Kyle,
[01:02:43] Kyle's not going to be the one who's going to make things.
[01:02:45] He's going to be moving and shaking and like wheeling and dealing and
[01:02:48] getting you off the bottom.
[01:02:49] Right.
[01:02:49] Like you've seen,
[01:02:49] that's not Kyle's Kyle's game.
[01:02:51] So,
[01:02:53] and not,
[01:02:53] not to mention if I,
[01:02:54] if I say I'm Sam or Genevieve and I vote out,
[01:02:57] if I'm Sam,
[01:02:58] I vote out Genevieve and then I'm on the bottom with Kyle,
[01:03:00] there's a good chance Kyle wins the next community challenge.
[01:03:03] And then it accelerates your potential exit.
[01:03:06] So again,
[01:03:08] I think Andy and Rachel had the right idea here because Genevieve is
[01:03:11] someone who is going to be able to rock the boat more than Kyle.
[01:03:14] But at the same time,
[01:03:15] I think,
[01:03:16] you know,
[01:03:17] when you have the shot at Kyle,
[01:03:19] it clears things up.
[01:03:20] And then maybe I think Caroline,
[01:03:22] Sue and teeny are like,
[01:03:24] yeah,
[01:03:25] maybe Genevieve is a mover and a shaker,
[01:03:27] but she might be a little bit more with us than with you.
[01:03:29] So if we need that option at,
[01:03:30] you know,
[01:03:31] seven or six or five,
[01:03:33] Genevieve is going to align with,
[01:03:34] with that more than maybe Kyle is.
[01:03:36] So I do want to talk about that real quick though.
[01:03:38] I also think that maybe they didn't really show a lot of it,
[01:03:42] but I think maybe the reason why Genevieve wasn't as,
[01:03:46] uh,
[01:03:47] why she didn't get voted out,
[01:03:48] I think was because of Sue,
[01:03:50] because Sue and Genevieve have this relationship that we know about that we
[01:03:54] haven't really seen.
[01:03:55] We've seen it earlier on,
[01:03:56] but Caroline says something in the episode where she was like,
[01:03:59] I don't want to go against Sue again.
[01:04:02] And I'm like,
[01:04:02] well,
[01:04:03] girl,
[01:04:03] go against her.
[01:04:04] And so it made me think that like,
[01:04:05] I think Genevieve got Sue on lock as well.
[01:04:09] And that's another enrolled or potentially a number.
[01:04:13] Sue also just really doesn't like Kyle.
[01:04:16] I need to know the T.
[01:04:19] I need to know the T.
[01:04:21] Why she hates him.
[01:04:23] Was it from when someone gave,
[01:04:27] Gabe's name is in Kyle's mouth.
[01:04:29] Yeah.
[01:04:30] Well,
[01:04:30] Eric,
[01:04:31] Kyle voted for her.
[01:04:31] He voted for her.
[01:04:33] He voted for her.
[01:04:35] Kyle calls him like Tweedledee and Tweedledum,
[01:04:37] I think lovingly,
[01:04:38] but I mean,
[01:04:39] Sue hates him because he's poor.
[01:04:44] But here's my thing with Sue though.
[01:04:46] What you going to do now though?
[01:04:47] Right now,
[01:04:47] Kyle's going,
[01:04:48] I like how they were talking about not even Kyle.
[01:04:50] And it was like,
[01:04:51] well,
[01:04:51] what do you want to do,
[01:04:51] Sue?
[01:04:51] I just want Kyle need to go.
[01:04:53] He got to go.
[01:04:55] And there,
[01:04:55] and again,
[01:04:56] I like that move.
[01:04:58] What Rachel did with,
[01:05:00] I think it was,
[01:05:00] might've been Caroline and what Rachel did with Sue and Caroline.
[01:05:05] First of all,
[01:05:05] it's like,
[01:05:06] well,
[01:05:06] we're the majority.
[01:05:07] Those three over there,
[01:05:08] we want them out.
[01:05:09] But I like how Rachel was like,
[01:05:11] whoever y'all want,
[01:05:12] whenever y'all want,
[01:05:13] in whatever order,
[01:05:14] I'm with you.
[01:05:16] Bish.
[01:05:17] Well,
[01:05:17] who else is it Rachel?
[01:05:19] But like,
[01:05:19] I like how she finessed that though.
[01:05:21] And you know,
[01:05:22] of course,
[01:05:22] Caroline was like,
[01:05:23] Kyle,
[01:05:24] but it's like,
[01:05:25] well,
[01:05:25] clearly we want to target them.
[01:05:26] And that was the other thing that I was thinking about this majority five.
[01:05:29] Right.
[01:05:30] Okay.
[01:05:32] Yeah.
[01:05:32] We get them three out.
[01:05:33] And then what's going to happen?
[01:05:36] What's the order of the five?
[01:05:38] Like,
[01:05:38] and that's where I think.
[01:05:39] You have an order.
[01:05:40] There's a,
[01:05:41] there's a alliance of three plus the two blue,
[01:05:44] right?
[01:05:44] That's why.
[01:05:46] Well,
[01:05:46] I think Rachel's kind of in a swing position and she might end up being the biggest target,
[01:05:51] but then she'll have an idol too.
[01:05:52] So if he gets,
[01:05:53] if she gets to five and can make fire,
[01:05:56] she's good.
[01:05:57] And that's why she's in such a good spot.
[01:05:58] That's why I love how she's just going with the flow.
[01:06:00] She's not,
[01:06:01] she's,
[01:06:02] you know,
[01:06:02] in a good social spot,
[01:06:03] but she's not pushing too much.
[01:06:04] Cause I think she also probably realizes in that five,
[01:06:08] you get to the end with Sue,
[01:06:11] teeny Andy.
[01:06:13] If Rachel's just solid,
[01:06:14] I think those three have all had kind of sloppy games in some extent.
[01:06:18] So if Rachel's just a sound player and can explain herself as well,
[01:06:22] has a couple of moves up her sleeve that nobody knows about,
[01:06:25] like the shot in the dark and the idol and things like that.
[01:06:28] And that's a,
[01:06:28] that's a win.
[01:06:29] So I think Rachel's like,
[01:06:30] I don't gotta go too crazy,
[01:06:32] especially in this new era.
[01:06:33] Sometimes just like that steady motion is,
[01:06:36] is just better than rocking the boat.
[01:06:39] A little motion in the ocean.
[01:06:40] I wouldn't know about that.
[01:06:42] I like a,
[01:06:43] I like a little steady Jack.
[01:06:45] You're right.
[01:06:45] You don't gotta,
[01:06:46] you don't gotta go all crazy,
[01:06:48] but you know,
[01:06:49] you gotta keep the pace.
[01:06:51] I do think we're starting to see the game change like forever.
[01:06:55] When I went to play,
[01:06:57] I,
[01:06:57] we were all still like thinking about a 39 day game.
[01:07:01] Not until we were about to leave.
[01:07:02] Did I realize we weren't playing 39 days?
[01:07:04] And the only seasons that we had seen were 41 and 42,
[01:07:08] which like just at that time felt like a random one or two off.
[01:07:13] Now,
[01:07:14] I mean,
[01:07:14] I think the game is different forever.
[01:07:16] These people are playing,
[01:07:17] like they know the pace that they need to play at.
[01:07:19] People are experimenting with different.
[01:07:20] Like times to go hard and like lay low.
[01:07:23] Like you're saying with Rachel.
[01:07:24] And I think like it is forever changed.
[01:07:27] And I'm curious to see what happens on 50.
[01:07:30] If they go back to a longer.
[01:07:32] Game.
[01:07:33] Or.
[01:07:35] I am hoping for 50.
[01:07:38] It is 39 days.
[01:07:38] I feel like y'all can at least do that.
[01:07:41] How many days did you play Bryce?
[01:07:45] I'm serious.
[01:07:46] No,
[01:07:47] no,
[01:07:48] that's not shade.
[01:07:49] It was probably like more than two weeks.
[01:07:51] Right.
[01:07:51] Yeah.
[01:07:52] Yeah.
[01:07:54] Yes.
[01:07:56] Yes.
[01:07:57] Yes.
[01:07:58] Yes.
[01:08:00] Oh,
[01:08:00] wait,
[01:08:01] I'm having a little internet connection.
[01:08:03] Oh,
[01:08:04] girl.
[01:08:07] Sorry about that.
[01:08:08] Cause.
[01:08:09] Why survivor player was told me you got to get through the
[01:08:12] smoke.
[01:08:13] To hear the news.
[01:08:16] Girl,
[01:08:16] I played 16 days.
[01:08:19] So no,
[01:08:20] I did.
[01:08:21] I play.
[01:08:22] I did play.
[01:08:23] I play 11 days.
[01:08:25] Okay.
[01:08:26] So at this,
[01:08:27] at this time,
[01:08:28] that's,
[01:08:29] I would have made the merge.
[01:08:30] Yes.
[01:08:31] I don't.
[01:08:32] Listen,
[01:08:32] we don't need to do math.
[01:08:34] Look,
[01:08:35] let's rewrite it now.
[01:08:36] Thank you.
[01:08:36] Don't have Andy do the math.
[01:08:39] Um,
[01:08:40] question for everyone.
[01:08:42] Uh,
[01:08:42] we're not having really the original glue guy.
[01:08:45] We haven't talked about Kyle.
[01:08:47] Is there.
[01:08:48] Sam.
[01:08:52] Listen,
[01:08:53] y'all know,
[01:08:53] but listen,
[01:08:54] does it count Maddie?
[01:08:56] If like you say a name wrong,
[01:08:57] but you know what I meant?
[01:08:59] I'm with you.
[01:09:00] Thank you.
[01:09:02] podcast.
[01:09:05] No,
[01:09:06] they know.
[01:09:07] Okay.
[01:09:07] I said Kyle,
[01:09:08] but I miss Sam.
[01:09:09] Thank you.
[01:09:09] The original glue guy.
[01:09:11] Clear as day.
[01:09:12] Thank you.
[01:09:14] We haven't heard.
[01:09:15] Wendell,
[01:09:16] go back to not talking.
[01:09:17] Oh,
[01:09:18] okay.
[01:09:19] Is what's it?
[01:09:20] Does Sam have an enroll?
[01:09:24] No.
[01:09:27] Why?
[01:09:27] I'm sorry.
[01:09:28] I love Sam,
[01:09:29] but the,
[01:09:30] this,
[01:09:30] I think this five,
[01:09:31] they know their targets.
[01:09:33] They know what they want to do.
[01:09:34] I want Sam to keep working the different angles.
[01:09:37] I want Sam to look for idols.
[01:09:38] I want Sam to try to win immunity,
[01:09:41] but they're going to get Sam and Genevieve as soon as they can.
[01:09:44] Just like they got Kyle as soon as they could.
[01:09:45] That is my predictions.
[01:09:48] I'm slightly more optimistic,
[01:09:50] but I do think Genevieve.
[01:09:52] It's,
[01:09:53] it's like,
[01:09:53] like it's sort of a modern day survivor trend where once you get towards
[01:09:56] the end,
[01:09:57] everyone's aware enough of knowing like,
[01:09:59] who can I be?
[01:09:59] Who can I not be?
[01:10:00] And so they all sort of seem to know that like Genevieve and Sam are big
[01:10:03] targets.
[01:10:04] And even like Sam hasn't had,
[01:10:06] like Sam self admittedly,
[01:10:08] hasn't had a lot of agencies since the merge Sierra goes,
[01:10:11] but once people kind of put that label on you as a target,
[01:10:14] it sort of just perpetuates itself.
[01:10:16] And so no one wants to go to the end with him because then he gets to the
[01:10:18] end.
[01:10:18] It's like,
[01:10:18] Oh,
[01:10:19] he had,
[01:10:19] it was a target and then he survived.
[01:10:21] But I do think Genevieve probably is,
[01:10:24] is a target before him.
[01:10:25] And then once you get to six,
[01:10:26] who knows what could happen?
[01:10:27] Maybe you win an immunity.
[01:10:28] Maybe you get an idol.
[01:10:29] Maybe people want to shake things up,
[01:10:31] but I do think Sam and Genevieve are,
[01:10:33] are in a really tough spot.
[01:10:35] Question.
[01:10:36] And I'm not trying to be funny.
[01:10:37] I'm trying to like devil's advocate and make a case for Sam.
[01:10:42] They've labeled him a target,
[01:10:46] but why?
[01:10:47] Yes.
[01:10:48] I'm thinking the same way,
[01:10:49] Bryce.
[01:10:50] Like other than,
[01:10:51] other than,
[01:10:53] other than he's a target in my eyes.
[01:10:57] You know,
[01:10:58] he's very handsome.
[01:10:59] I mean,
[01:11:00] he not too tall.
[01:11:02] He's charismatic.
[01:11:03] He's charismatic.
[01:11:04] He's into the arts.
[01:11:06] He,
[01:11:06] you know,
[01:11:07] he,
[01:11:07] you know,
[01:11:08] he,
[01:11:08] he looks the part,
[01:11:09] but no,
[01:11:10] but I,
[01:11:10] and I say this and I'm asking all this because it's like,
[01:11:12] I'm trying to make a case for him to make a case out there.
[01:11:15] Like,
[01:11:15] why is it that he's a target?
[01:11:17] I feel like he's been swinging the whole season.
[01:11:20] I think it's sort of classic survivor thinking where he's,
[01:11:25] like you said,
[01:11:26] he's athletic.
[01:11:27] He's charismatic.
[01:11:28] And in,
[01:11:29] in the days of old survivor,
[01:11:32] that's,
[01:11:32] that was the winner.
[01:11:33] Right.
[01:11:33] And,
[01:11:33] and it's also,
[01:11:34] it was pretty apparent that he was kind of running.
[01:11:37] Got to pre-merge.
[01:11:38] I think people talked about that even during the pre-merge.
[01:11:40] So you get this athletic,
[01:11:42] charismatic,
[01:11:44] strategic guy coming in at the merge.
[01:11:46] Everyone's immediately going to be like,
[01:11:47] that's a threat.
[01:11:47] And then once you have that label,
[01:11:49] I think it's hard to shake,
[01:11:50] even if you're not wheeling and dealing like,
[01:11:53] like he was before.
[01:11:55] And your right hand is under Rosa.
[01:11:59] Right.
[01:11:59] True.
[01:12:00] That's also,
[01:12:00] he has a lot of friends on the jury.
[01:12:02] I think right now you could get a soul vote.
[01:12:04] He could get a Sierra vote.
[01:12:06] Um,
[01:12:07] so,
[01:12:08] but I agree with you.
[01:12:08] It's like,
[01:12:09] if you look at it within the scope of this season of survivor,
[01:12:12] he has not been like,
[01:12:14] he has not had that much footing out for the marriage.
[01:12:16] His resume is not that strong,
[01:12:17] but sometimes it's just that persona,
[01:12:20] that personality that you see as a winner.
[01:12:22] And this is kind of brought me to something I want to say,
[01:12:24] because Maddie,
[01:12:24] you mentioned that I think the game has changed.
[01:12:26] I think right now,
[01:12:28] I feel very strongly that if it's not Rachel,
[01:12:31] that wins the season,
[01:12:31] it would be a Caroline.
[01:12:33] And that's three seasons in a row.
[01:12:35] We're kind of an underrated low key,
[01:12:37] but so very social,
[01:12:38] very strategic woman.
[01:12:39] D Kenzie,
[01:12:41] Rachel or Caroline sweeps the game.
[01:12:44] I can see that,
[01:12:45] you know,
[01:12:45] that's going to change the way the game is played of like who,
[01:12:47] what's viewed as a target.
[01:12:48] We saw it a little bit earlier this season with Genevieve being like,
[01:12:51] Rachel is the low key threat.
[01:12:53] Like the big threats no longer actually the threat.
[01:12:57] So I could see future seasons being like,
[01:12:59] Oh,
[01:12:59] you're a,
[01:12:59] you're a quiet,
[01:13:00] but smart girl.
[01:13:01] Like you're going to win.
[01:13:02] So we got to go early.
[01:13:04] And it's in that thinking,
[01:13:06] right.
[01:13:07] And this has been a trend and everyone that is out there is an actual
[01:13:11] player and understands the game.
[01:13:12] And with that reason and thinking,
[01:13:15] and you know,
[01:13:15] who always says that Jack James Jones is that perceived threat.
[01:13:18] It's like,
[01:13:20] why don't they see that?
[01:13:21] Right.
[01:13:21] It's like,
[01:13:22] like then it,
[01:13:23] then in reality,
[01:13:24] it's like y'all really shouldn't be targeting a Sam.
[01:13:27] Like,
[01:13:28] but I guess also it comes into your relationships who you're tied to.
[01:13:32] And I guess to when you got to get to the end.
[01:13:35] And so it's,
[01:13:36] I think Jack did a good point earlier where it's like,
[01:13:39] and I hadn't thought about this of like,
[01:13:41] I think there's two things happening.
[01:13:44] I think normally in survivor people cannibalize on people like them.
[01:13:47] So on my season,
[01:13:48] like Danny and Brandon were close,
[01:13:50] but then Danny got Brandon out.
[01:13:52] And it's like,
[01:13:53] I think when you see someone like you,
[01:13:54] like sometimes people's impulses to play with them.
[01:13:56] And then sometimes it's like,
[01:13:57] I got to get them gone,
[01:13:58] which I'm wondering if some of that is happening with.
[01:14:02] Genevieve and Rachel.
[01:14:03] Like they seem like they're like the most forward,
[01:14:07] like women in the game.
[01:14:09] And I wonder if they're like seeing themselves in each other.
[01:14:12] And so they're like,
[01:14:13] I know I'm a threat.
[01:14:14] So that means you're a threat.
[01:14:16] But,
[01:14:17] but Jack,
[01:14:17] you made a really good point that like,
[01:14:19] there is still game left and people like Kyle,
[01:14:22] which I didn't think they should have voted out.
[01:14:24] Kyle.
[01:14:24] If I were there,
[01:14:24] I would have been gunning for Genevieve,
[01:14:27] but you made a good point that like,
[01:14:29] maybe someone like Kyle is thinking so differently about the game that you
[01:14:33] can't get three more days with someone who is just going to vote in a
[01:14:37] completely different way than you and is not going to.
[01:14:40] And so I think it's interesting because I think a lot of these people,
[01:14:42] what I like about the season is I think there's a lot of people
[01:14:44] playing in a similar,
[01:14:46] but different way going towards the end.
[01:14:48] And I think Caroline is going to win,
[01:14:50] but I think it could be Genevieve.
[01:14:52] It could be Caroline.
[01:14:54] It could be Andy.
[01:14:55] I mean,
[01:14:56] they all are playing a similar,
[01:14:57] but different game.
[01:14:58] That's what makes this interesting.
[01:15:00] Cause it's not a clear winner,
[01:15:02] but maybe that's why we saw Kyle go.
[01:15:05] Maddie,
[01:15:06] go for a similar reason.
[01:15:08] She's playing with such loyalty.
[01:15:10] It's like,
[01:15:11] I don't know how much further you can bring someone like that,
[01:15:13] but it's,
[01:15:14] that makes the game even more interesting because you need people who are
[01:15:18] your competition or like you to not sit with you at the end,
[01:15:20] but you also may need them.
[01:15:23] They all sort of have a similar end game strategy.
[01:15:26] And Kyle doesn't fit into that narrative.
[01:15:28] And so they're all sort of like,
[01:15:29] here's the people I want to get to five with.
[01:15:31] They all kind of agree on that.
[01:15:32] And then they can get there and then just play it out.
[01:15:35] And it's about who's going to be able to execute up yet.
[01:15:38] But a Kyle,
[01:15:39] keeping a Kyle in could be so beneficial for a Caroline's game.
[01:15:43] Right?
[01:15:44] Like there,
[01:15:44] there are these swing people that I,
[01:15:46] they are going,
[01:15:48] but it's like Carolina suit y'all could change the mother effing game.
[01:15:52] Like you could really like flip it.
[01:15:54] And just the viewer in me,
[01:15:57] I kind of want something like that to happen.
[01:15:58] Right?
[01:15:59] Because at this point it's kind of feeling like we know who the final five
[01:16:02] is going to be.
[01:16:03] And like,
[01:16:03] and it's like,
[01:16:04] surprise me,
[01:16:05] shake it up.
[01:16:07] I got a question,
[01:16:08] Bryce.
[01:16:09] If Caroline,
[01:16:11] Sue and Kyle sit at the end,
[01:16:12] who you got?
[01:16:14] Who does this jury have?
[01:16:16] Caroline,
[01:16:17] Sue and who?
[01:16:18] Kyle.
[01:16:19] Well,
[01:16:20] you know,
[01:16:20] roses are red,
[01:16:22] violets are blue.
[01:16:23] You want to ask me a question now?
[01:16:25] I ain't got you.
[01:16:28] I got Caroline.
[01:16:29] I think like,
[01:16:30] here's the thing,
[01:16:31] right?
[01:16:31] Who does this jury who saw Kyle win all them in communities hat?
[01:16:36] So I could see them having a Kyle,
[01:16:39] but I also think that you are then also underestimating Caroline's social
[01:16:44] ability.
[01:16:44] We might not see it,
[01:16:46] but I am pretty sure Caroline has a relationship with every one of those
[01:16:50] people on that jury.
[01:16:51] Okay.
[01:16:53] Yeah.
[01:16:53] Me,
[01:16:54] I'm going with queen Caroline.
[01:16:57] Caroline.
[01:16:57] I love that you're stating Caroline.
[01:16:59] Cause I feel like enough,
[01:17:00] enough love for her.
[01:17:02] Yeah,
[01:17:03] absolutely.
[01:17:03] Like I,
[01:17:04] I,
[01:17:04] I see it and there's something in her.
[01:17:07] I love.
[01:17:08] And also just another comment that I want to make.
[01:17:10] Um,
[01:17:11] Genevieve,
[01:17:11] I know she's down and out right now.
[01:17:13] Uh,
[01:17:14] cause it's a lot going on.
[01:17:15] However,
[01:17:16] um,
[01:17:16] I love the fact that Genevieve is playing what we will quote.
[01:17:20] We talking classic survivor games.
[01:17:22] She's playing like a quote.
[01:17:24] What a man would be playing.
[01:17:27] Like,
[01:17:27] right.
[01:17:27] There's so many men that have played like this before.
[01:17:29] And I effing loved it.
[01:17:31] Like,
[01:17:32] I just love the fact that like due to the diversity initiative,
[01:17:35] due to a lot of different things,
[01:17:36] we have a woman like Genevieve playing the hell out of this game.
[01:17:41] Now,
[01:17:41] girl,
[01:17:41] you might,
[01:17:42] it might've backed you up into a corner,
[01:17:43] but I just love it.
[01:17:44] And sometimes I don't think that.
[01:17:46] And also what I love the most about it.
[01:17:48] Sorry,
[01:17:48] going on this tangent,
[01:17:49] right.
[01:17:49] Sometimes when we do see these strong women,
[01:17:51] like a Genevieve will get these attributes.
[01:17:54] Like,
[01:17:55] Oh,
[01:17:55] she nasty.
[01:17:56] Oh,
[01:17:57] it's just,
[01:17:57] Oh,
[01:17:58] she did.
[01:17:58] I love the fact that she is playing the strong ass game.
[01:18:02] And we're not getting any of that.
[01:18:03] Like we,
[01:18:04] like they respect what she's doing.
[01:18:06] We haven't always seen that in survivor.
[01:18:08] And I have to love the hell out of it.
[01:18:11] Sorry.
[01:18:12] How are the fans receiving that?
[01:18:15] Her game.
[01:18:16] They,
[01:18:17] they,
[01:18:17] I,
[01:18:17] there's a lot of Caroline fans.
[01:18:19] Like they love her,
[01:18:20] but I also think from what I have seen,
[01:18:22] I haven't done.
[01:18:24] Genevieve.
[01:18:27] You said Caroline.
[01:18:29] Oh,
[01:18:33] I was just wondering how the fans were receiving her.
[01:18:35] That's good.
[01:18:36] That's good to hear.
[01:18:36] Yeah.
[01:18:37] I love,
[01:18:37] I love the game she's playing.
[01:18:38] I had a question for Maddie.
[01:18:40] You said you see Caroline winning.
[01:18:43] Does that mean you see,
[01:18:44] does that mean you don't see Rachel getting to the end?
[01:18:48] I think she was answering your question of the three.
[01:18:51] I don't see Rachel getting to the end.
[01:18:53] And I don't,
[01:18:54] yeah,
[01:18:55] I don't know.
[01:18:56] I'm getting vibes that she goes out on fire.
[01:18:58] I'm getting,
[01:19:00] I,
[01:19:01] I'm getting a vibe.
[01:19:02] I don't know if the edit is.
[01:19:04] Go ahead.
[01:19:04] Her edit is becoming strong right now,
[01:19:06] which makes me think that she's going to go out either in fire right
[01:19:09] before.
[01:19:09] It's like your edit is getting strong.
[01:19:11] You're building up this arsenal.
[01:19:13] You got these tools.
[01:19:13] You're going to use them unless they blindside you,
[01:19:16] but they have no reason to blindside you yet.
[01:19:17] They got all these threats ahead of you.
[01:19:19] But as soon as you start using them,
[01:19:21] they going to get you.
[01:19:22] Yeah.
[01:19:23] The thing that I would say is different about that,
[01:19:25] right?
[01:19:26] They are building her up,
[01:19:27] but I said this earlier.
[01:19:28] It doesn't seem like her confidence with it is building up with it,
[01:19:33] right?
[01:19:34] Like you go out on survivor when you least suspect it,
[01:19:36] or when you're feeling so confident.
[01:19:37] What I like about Rachel,
[01:19:39] she like me,
[01:19:40] like you're actually in the best position of your life,
[01:19:42] but you thinking like I'm having the worst day of hell and I'm always
[01:19:45] stressed.
[01:19:46] And so like,
[01:19:46] that's what I love about Rachel is that like,
[01:19:48] it's not like her confidence is building.
[01:19:51] She like,
[01:19:51] well,
[01:19:51] damn it.
[01:19:52] Like,
[01:19:52] why is this happening?
[01:19:53] I got to do this.
[01:19:54] I got to work with this.
[01:19:56] That's what is so relatable about her.
[01:19:58] So although the edit is,
[01:19:59] I don't see her confidence rising.
[01:20:01] And that kind of like gives me faith that I think she could do it.
[01:20:04] And that's actually good gameplay.
[01:20:07] Like,
[01:20:07] yo,
[01:20:08] stay low,
[01:20:09] keep your head down and grind.
[01:20:11] No matter what you got in your pocket,
[01:20:13] don't get in those confessionals talking about,
[01:20:15] Oh,
[01:20:15] look what I got.
[01:20:16] Oh,
[01:20:16] nah,
[01:20:17] like lock in.
[01:20:19] Don't take it for granted.
[01:20:20] And we'll see.
[01:20:21] Like she has the tools to get there,
[01:20:23] but we'll see.
[01:20:26] So something I ask everyone who's ever won is like,
[01:20:30] did you know you're going to win?
[01:20:31] And most of the time people say,
[01:20:32] yes.
[01:20:32] So I want to know who from 47 right now thinks that they're going to win.
[01:20:41] Cause just like you said,
[01:20:42] Bryce doesn't seem like Rachel,
[01:20:43] Rachel is like taking it a day at a time.
[01:20:45] It feels like,
[01:20:46] and has like keeping herself in check.
[01:20:49] Then we got like Sam who's like on the outs.
[01:20:51] I would think might be someone who's more like calling his,
[01:20:54] his shots.
[01:20:56] I'm like,
[01:20:57] who,
[01:20:57] who of this group is calling that they're winning?
[01:21:00] Andy.
[01:21:02] 100%.
[01:21:03] He's saying it in front.
[01:21:06] I'm running it.
[01:21:07] I'm smiling in their face.
[01:21:10] You think that's an accurate like perception?
[01:21:14] No.
[01:21:15] Yes.
[01:21:17] It's funny you ask that Maddie,
[01:21:19] cause I'm sure there's a point where like,
[01:21:21] I'm sure most,
[01:21:22] like you said,
[01:21:22] most winners kind of know they're on the track to win,
[01:21:24] but I'm sure there's a lot of players who get to the end game thinking that
[01:21:27] they're on the track to win too.
[01:21:29] And then it doesn't work out for them.
[01:21:31] So,
[01:21:31] but if they had one,
[01:21:33] then they would have been like,
[01:21:33] Oh,
[01:21:33] I knew I was going to win too.
[01:21:35] It's hard to know because the,
[01:21:37] the most,
[01:21:38] I think impactful thing that I hear people say that comes from Survivor is
[01:21:43] like,
[01:21:43] you don't know which way's up and which way's down because you're the
[01:21:47] narrator of your own story.
[01:21:48] So as far as you know,
[01:21:50] you're the,
[01:21:50] you're the hero.
[01:21:52] Yeah.
[01:21:52] And we see this with some people's edits this season.
[01:21:54] I mean,
[01:21:55] like they,
[01:21:55] they,
[01:21:56] it was their show.
[01:21:58] And then you get,
[01:22:00] I love Rome.
[01:22:01] I love Rome.
[01:22:02] And I think I like my sisters asked what's Rome.
[01:22:05] Like I was like,
[01:22:06] I love Rome.
[01:22:06] You're such a sweetie,
[01:22:07] but it's like,
[01:22:08] we only see one part of people,
[01:22:11] which is like when they're being gassed up by production and they think
[01:22:14] like they're running the show and you,
[01:22:16] I mean,
[01:22:18] Kenzie was running the show on her season.
[01:22:19] D was running the show on her season.
[01:22:20] Jam was running the show on our season.
[01:22:22] And it's like,
[01:22:22] they called it and they were right,
[01:22:23] but everyone's calling it.
[01:22:25] And some people just aren't right.
[01:22:27] And so it's just,
[01:22:27] it's a mind fuck.
[01:22:30] You get,
[01:22:31] you get some people that the producers are able to really gas you up and
[01:22:34] you say whatever.
[01:22:35] And you're in there.
[01:22:36] I'm,
[01:22:36] I'm in the most comfortable.
[01:22:37] You get the Rome stuff.
[01:22:38] Right.
[01:22:39] But then you get,
[01:22:40] but then some people are like,
[01:22:42] now I'm locked in like,
[01:22:43] and like we're seeing it from Rachel.
[01:22:46] I think Andy,
[01:22:47] we're getting,
[01:22:48] I think we're getting a lot of that with Andy.
[01:22:49] Like,
[01:22:49] Hey,
[01:22:50] tell us,
[01:22:50] tell us about your smile.
[01:22:51] Tell us about how you went and made these moves.
[01:22:53] And I think Andy has went from such a low in the game to really like,
[01:23:00] he's,
[01:23:00] he's moving around,
[01:23:01] he's maneuvering and he's really feeling himself.
[01:23:04] And there are bigger threats ahead of him.
[01:23:07] He's,
[01:23:08] he's narrating his own story,
[01:23:10] but what will the jury think?
[01:23:13] That's all I'm wondering.
[01:23:14] Wendell,
[01:23:15] Wendy did.
[01:23:15] I mean,
[01:23:16] Wendy,
[01:23:16] Maddie asked a really good question on ghost Island at final seven.
[01:23:21] Were you projecting yourself to win?
[01:23:23] Did you see it?
[01:23:26] Final seven.
[01:23:27] Um,
[01:23:28] I think I don't,
[01:23:30] I don't remember which episode that was,
[01:23:31] but what was the point when you started to like,
[01:23:35] When my,
[01:23:36] when my dad came out there,
[01:23:38] he was like,
[01:23:38] he was like,
[01:23:39] Wendell,
[01:23:39] I walked out there.
[01:23:40] I saw you standing amongst all these people.
[01:23:43] And it looked like you in,
[01:23:44] in elementary school.
[01:23:45] When I'd see you standing with your friends about to compete at
[01:23:47] something,
[01:23:48] he was like,
[01:23:49] he said,
[01:23:50] he said,
[01:23:50] I had something right then and there.
[01:23:52] And then when I said,
[01:23:55] I was going to go to ghost Island and I wasn't going to go on the
[01:23:58] reward with him.
[01:23:59] He was like,
[01:24:00] he was like,
[01:24:01] we'll,
[01:24:01] he said something like,
[01:24:02] we'll celebrate your win and blah,
[01:24:03] blah,
[01:24:03] blah.
[01:24:05] And I think around then I was like,
[01:24:07] I see a path to the end.
[01:24:09] I have my allies.
[01:24:11] I have Dom.
[01:24:12] I have Laurel.
[01:24:12] We even have Donathan.
[01:24:13] I'm cool with,
[01:24:14] I'm cool with Kellen.
[01:24:16] I'm cool with Sebastian.
[01:24:16] I'm cool with Chelsea.
[01:24:17] Like Angela,
[01:24:19] we,
[01:24:20] we had,
[01:24:20] we had a path and I had my idol and Dom had his,
[01:24:25] and we're like,
[01:24:25] you know what?
[01:24:26] We're protected.
[01:24:27] So I think somewhere close to seven,
[01:24:29] I was,
[01:24:30] I really,
[01:24:31] I saw it.
[01:24:32] But when you have someone as strong as Dom,
[01:24:34] and when you have someone as willing to do whatever as Donathan,
[01:24:38] and when you have someone as brilliant as Laurel,
[01:24:40] who like could,
[01:24:42] she controlled,
[01:24:43] like she had,
[01:24:44] she held us down,
[01:24:45] but she's the smartest person on the Island.
[01:24:47] And she could have cut our throats.
[01:24:48] You know,
[01:24:49] she was very loyal.
[01:24:50] So she didn't,
[01:24:50] but you know,
[01:24:51] so you never really know.
[01:24:53] And then going into final tribal,
[01:24:56] I didn't win.
[01:24:57] I had to win fire to get there.
[01:24:59] So like,
[01:24:59] you don't know until right.
[01:25:01] You know,
[01:25:01] I squeaked in there and now I'm against Dom who,
[01:25:04] who played a strong game and one immunity in the final immunity.
[01:25:07] So you don't know.
[01:25:08] You just got to give it your all out there.
[01:25:10] And I squeaked by as close,
[01:25:13] as close as they get.
[01:25:15] So having been that person,
[01:25:18] who is the Wendell in 47?
[01:25:21] Who,
[01:25:22] who is sitting with all of these different avenues right now?
[01:25:25] One person.
[01:25:26] I think the closest person is Rachel.
[01:25:29] I think the closest person is Rachel.
[01:25:32] Y'all heard it.
[01:25:33] I'm a winner.
[01:25:35] I told you where I think she's going to go.
[01:25:37] Like she's going to,
[01:25:38] she's going to use,
[01:25:39] she's so humble.
[01:25:40] She's doing it,
[01:25:40] but she's going to use these,
[01:25:42] these tools and they're going to see her.
[01:25:44] It's going to illuminate her.
[01:25:45] And then she's going to have to,
[01:25:47] she's going to have to win final four or win that fire.
[01:25:50] One of the two.
[01:25:51] She could do it.
[01:25:52] What,
[01:25:54] on season 40,
[01:25:55] when you made the merge,
[01:25:56] what was like your angle?
[01:25:59] Where were you sitting?
[01:26:00] How was you feeling?
[01:26:02] I sat,
[01:26:02] I sat my behind on the jury.
[01:26:07] Here's another question though.
[01:26:09] Random.
[01:26:10] All right.
[01:26:10] We can wrap this up because then we're going long,
[01:26:12] but wait,
[01:26:12] all winners at war.
[01:26:13] I don't think I've ever asked you this.
[01:26:16] When y'all merge,
[01:26:18] do you ever wish you didn't,
[01:26:20] or from our perception,
[01:26:22] do you ever wish you didn't like dap up Jeremy?
[01:26:25] I gave him one hug.
[01:26:26] I gave Jeremy.
[01:26:28] I was having my idol.
[01:26:30] Okay.
[01:26:30] I might've like gave a little one hug.
[01:26:33] Right.
[01:26:33] Would you,
[01:26:35] but serious question.
[01:26:36] Like,
[01:26:37] would you,
[01:26:38] in hindsight,
[01:26:39] would you just be like,
[01:26:40] what's up?
[01:26:42] Put me back on the island with Jeremy.
[01:26:44] I'm not even going to look in his direction.
[01:26:46] Matter of fact,
[01:26:47] when I see him in Boston and two in next week,
[01:26:49] I'm not even going to hug him.
[01:26:54] It's funny.
[01:26:54] You're like,
[01:26:55] I just gave him one thing.
[01:26:56] window.
[01:26:56] We saw the edits.
[01:26:57] They're like,
[01:26:58] we,
[01:26:58] did you see our window when Jeremy,
[01:27:01] like,
[01:27:01] yeah,
[01:27:01] windows like,
[01:27:02] I've been watching you for a really long time.
[01:27:05] It's such an honor to meet you.
[01:27:08] Oh my God.
[01:27:09] You even smell good.
[01:27:10] And then you have Kim Spradlin.
[01:27:12] You got Sophie Clark.
[01:27:13] You have Tony and Sarah Lucina.
[01:27:16] You have like,
[01:27:18] but I was the target.
[01:27:19] Got it.
[01:27:21] Right.
[01:27:22] Jeremy has that effect on people.
[01:27:23] Cause Bruce loves Jeremy.
[01:27:26] He would give him his children.
[01:27:29] He loves Jeremy.
[01:27:31] Bryce,
[01:27:32] I got one more thing I want to throw out before we wrap up.
[01:27:34] And it's a little bit,
[01:27:35] I don't want to say it's a little bit nerdy,
[01:27:37] but maybe some,
[01:27:38] some free games to any posse listeners that might end up on the show.
[01:27:42] I know I'm not necessarily the guy it's more,
[01:27:43] some challenge.
[01:27:45] So we didn't talk about the immunity challenge.
[01:27:47] This is a classic.
[01:27:49] And there's something I've noticed that nobody does that would really help in
[01:27:54] this challenge.
[01:27:55] So I want to just throw it out there.
[01:27:57] Basically I wrote,
[01:27:58] I drew a little diagram,
[01:27:59] but it's like,
[01:28:02] um,
[01:28:03] so,
[01:28:03] you know,
[01:28:03] everyone,
[01:28:04] everyone,
[01:28:05] you have the table and everyone stacks the blocks.
[01:28:08] You have the table.
[01:28:09] Everyone stacks the blocks,
[01:28:11] like flush with the table,
[01:28:13] right?
[01:28:13] You come,
[01:28:13] you put the square block and it's facing you straight.
[01:28:17] What you should do.
[01:28:19] So it's like this.
[01:28:21] It's like,
[01:28:21] so this is the table.
[01:28:23] This is the block.
[01:28:24] And what happened,
[01:28:25] the way that things,
[01:28:26] you know,
[01:28:26] fall over physics wise is when the center of gravity of your thing goes
[01:28:31] past,
[01:28:32] like extends past,
[01:28:34] it topples over.
[01:28:35] So you want to have the most width of your center of gravity as possible.
[01:28:39] So what they should do,
[01:28:40] you should angle the block 45 degrees.
[01:28:43] So it's like a diamond because then you have the,
[01:28:48] instead of like going this way,
[01:28:50] it's going this way,
[01:28:52] which is like,
[01:28:53] and this is the square I drew.
[01:28:55] So when you angle at 45 degrees,
[01:28:57] you have like the hypotenuse,
[01:28:58] which is of the square versus like the straight on.
[01:29:03] And the hypotenuse is always longer.
[01:29:05] So if you angle at 45 degrees,
[01:29:07] you allow yourself more wiggle room with the tilting.
[01:29:10] So you're going to,
[01:29:11] your,
[01:29:11] your towers can be more stable.
[01:29:13] So if anyone else is ever out there,
[01:29:16] just angle those blocks 45 degree,
[01:29:19] unless I'm out there too,
[01:29:20] don't do it.
[01:29:21] It's not going to work.
[01:29:23] I just,
[01:29:24] no one ever does that in these challenges.
[01:29:26] And it's like physics wise,
[01:29:27] it's just the better,
[01:29:28] better way to do it.
[01:29:29] So you said the hypotenuse is longer.
[01:29:32] It is.
[01:29:34] I'm trying to see what's up with some hypotenuses.
[01:29:38] Okay.
[01:29:40] Okay.
[01:29:41] Come on,
[01:29:42] professor Atkins.
[01:29:44] But anyway,
[01:29:45] I see this challenge so much.
[01:29:46] I'm always like,
[01:29:47] just,
[01:29:47] just rotate the block.
[01:29:49] It's going to be easier.
[01:29:50] It's obviously really easy to just do that once you know.
[01:29:53] So to the posse listeners,
[01:29:55] if any,
[01:29:55] if anyone ever ends up out there and wins this challenge,
[01:29:58] because of this,
[01:29:59] there's no,
[01:29:59] I got you.
[01:30:00] So.
[01:30:00] You heard it here first.
[01:30:02] Okay.
[01:30:02] Professor Atkins,
[01:30:04] we appreciate you.
[01:30:05] Well,
[01:30:05] this has been such a fun holiday treat to have our girl Maddie up with us
[01:30:11] sitting in the woods and her dad's leather chair where he be working hard.
[01:30:16] Okay.
[01:30:17] The best of the best.
[01:30:19] We got a little Dr.
[01:30:20] Atkins in the building.
[01:30:22] And I mean,
[01:30:23] Wendell,
[01:30:23] thank you for speaking today.
[01:30:28] This has been your survivor news.
[01:30:30] We'll be back next week.
[01:30:32] We'll see you in Boston.
[01:30:33] Tickets are available for the Bryson Winsworth 47.
[01:30:36] We're out y'all.
[01:30:37] What's up?
[01:30:37] Pop pop.
[01:30:38] A noose.
[01:30:55] You better hurry right back though.
[01:31:02] It's the purple pants.
