Today, Rob is joined by Survivor 45's Katurah Topps to discuss Survivor 47 episode 7.[00:00:08] Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Cesternino back here after episode 7 of Survivor 47 and it was a dramatic goodbye for one player tonight and we will talk about it all. We've got a great guest here with us from Survivor 45, Katurah Topps is here. Katurah, how are you?
[00:00:34] I am good. I got a bell for you.
[00:00:41] How are you doing?
[00:00:41] I'm so excited to be here. Sad.
[00:00:44] Sad for Tiana.
[00:00:45] That is under these circumstances. Yes! Oh, I hated that. That was heartbreaking.
[00:00:51] Katurah, what's going on this season? I feel like the players getting voted out have gotten very sad and I feel like there was a point in the new era, and I'm not sure what exactly the turning point was,
[00:01:00] that there was a point when players were like, oh, you got me. All right, good job. Everybody, that was good. I wasn't expecting that. And now, like, players are like really like in their feelings.
[00:01:11] Well, I think two things are happening, Rob. I think one, Survivor is just showing us this, right? Like, a lot of times when people leave, let me just tell you, we cry.
[00:01:23] Like, you do not get your torch snuffed and be like, doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo. Like, that walk away after Jeff snuffs your torch. I don't even like that I even know this reference, but it hurts.
[00:01:34] And I feel like a lot of people cry and like, typically we just don't see it. And so I feel like they're showing us these and then they're showing us the ones that hit hard.
[00:01:43] Yeah. And then specifically, we're in the pre-merge. I mean, I guess technically after tonight we'll be merged, but like to get so close, everybody that we've seen is pre-jury.
[00:01:55] Yeah. And so I can't imagine that that hurts 10 times worse than everything else.
[00:01:59] Okay. All right. Well, we're going to talk about it all and tomorrow on Thursday. So first up, busy Halloween. Happy Halloween to you, Katara.
[00:02:09] Happy Halloween.
[00:02:10] Yeah. We've got...
[00:02:11] What are you going to be this time? What are you going to be this year?
[00:02:13] So I'm going to be that my wife and I, that we didn't go too crazy, but we have like, we're going to be Price is Right contestants. What do you think about that?
[00:02:23] Oh, okay. Who's going to be your host?
[00:02:26] I'll send you a picture.
[00:02:26] Yeah. Who's going to, just generally. So just a regular American?
[00:02:31] You check it out. You check it out what we have planned. And then my kids are going to be, we have a Iron Man and a Wolverine.
[00:02:41] Oh, okay. That's cute. Okay. That's cute. Okay. I like that.
[00:02:44] My oldest son wanted to be Deadpool, but we said that's not appropriate.
[00:02:47] Jesus. Wow. Okay. Yikes.
[00:02:49] These kids.
[00:02:50] But okay. But I will also have Tiana coming up on the exit interview.
[00:02:54] Oh, nice.
[00:02:55] So be on the lookout for that. And then Stephen Fishback will join me for Survivor Know-It-Alls coming up on Thursday afternoon.
[00:03:01] So join us at a special time, 2.30 Eastern for Survivor Know-It-Alls coming up on Thursday.
[00:03:09] A little bit earlier to accommodate some Halloween stuff. Okay.
[00:03:13] Katara, do you have a costume? Are you going to do anything for Halloween?
[00:03:18] You know, I'm not like a big Halloween girl.
[00:03:23] But when I do, I go all out, or at least I think they're funny.
[00:03:27] Like my best costume to date was when I was the Kool-Aid man.
[00:03:30] Oh, yeah.
[00:03:32] Yeah. I just burst into rooms saying, oh, yeah.
[00:03:36] You know, big cardboard box painted red.
[00:03:38] Sure.
[00:03:39] Exactly.
[00:03:40] Through the wall.
[00:03:42] So this year, I think I'm going to go as just free, happy, enjoying life girl.
[00:03:50] So, yeah.
[00:03:51] Just vibing, really not anything really particular.
[00:03:54] I had a costume that I was going to do with someone like a you'd be this and I'd be that.
[00:03:59] And then it didn't work out.
[00:04:00] Not like a horse.
[00:04:02] Oh, my God.
[00:04:03] No, Rob.
[00:04:04] Not like a horse.
[00:04:05] That's like a two-person costume.
[00:04:06] Somebody has to be the head and somebody has to be the butt.
[00:04:08] But I mean, sure, if we're going to go literal, of course, but I wasn't thinking in that way.
[00:04:14] You know, the typical way of you do this character, I do this character that matches this character.
[00:04:20] Yeah.
[00:04:21] Okay.
[00:04:21] What were they going to be?
[00:04:22] Was it a survivor theme?
[00:04:24] No, it was.
[00:04:26] So apparently there's like this cartoon.
[00:04:28] God.
[00:04:29] And it's going to be terrible because I don't even know what it's called.
[00:04:31] But there's this woman and she's in like a little bikini top-ish thing.
[00:04:36] I don't know.
[00:04:37] I don't know anything about this.
[00:04:37] It's like Lilo and Stitch energy of like the big sister of Lilo.
[00:04:43] I don't know.
[00:04:44] Yeah.
[00:04:44] All right.
[00:04:45] The chat will tell us.
[00:04:46] The chat will tell us.
[00:04:47] Once I knew that we weren't doing it, I was like, all right, well, I don't think about it anymore.
[00:04:50] Forget it.
[00:04:51] Okay.
[00:04:52] This is so exciting.
[00:04:52] And then also we're going to have our patron Q&A coming up on Friday at 3 p.m.
[00:04:58] I'll take your questions about everything going on at this episode.
[00:05:01] So yeah, a lot of intrigue with what happened here tonight, but also for me, a lot of intrigue about what comes next.
[00:05:08] But let's start with our top story at this hour.
[00:05:12] So interesting, this split tribal council and the way it's split and that it was the five people from Tuku.
[00:05:20] And I really felt like that Tiana was kind of out of the woods.
[00:05:24] We were all together in New York.
[00:05:26] It was two weeks ago tonight.
[00:05:27] And boy, things look bad for Tiana.
[00:05:30] But then they got to the merge.
[00:05:32] And I really thought that like, okay, that we heard Caroline talk about how I'm going to try to keep everybody together.
[00:05:37] Wrangle everybody together.
[00:05:39] Yep.
[00:05:39] Like nobody's worried about the Tuku five.
[00:05:41] They've got five that they're going to steamroll everybody.
[00:05:44] And then it just so happened that it ultimately like got they got lucky at first with the draw and then unlucky with the advantage.
[00:05:54] So let me just start with that.
[00:05:55] Do you feel like Rachel was going home had she not left?
[00:06:03] Yes and no.
[00:06:04] Okay.
[00:06:04] So I feel like if Rachel didn't leave that, I know that Tiana wanted to try.
[00:06:10] And I feel like they tried to keep us a little bit open.
[00:06:13] Like, you know, is Caroline going to be on board with it?
[00:06:16] But I don't feel like she would have.
[00:06:18] And I know where Caroline goes, Sue is going to go, where Gabe is going to go.
[00:06:22] And so I feel like Rachel was dead in the water no matter what.
[00:06:27] But I think even taking it back a little bit further, I feel like this this was writing on the wall for Tiana even before we got there.
[00:06:36] Yes.
[00:06:36] What did you say?
[00:06:38] Because I'm like, OK, I think.
[00:06:41] Also, shout out to Sifu in the chat.
[00:06:43] So Sifu says she was going home for sure.
[00:06:46] Saul played that thing so well.
[00:06:48] Yeah.
[00:06:48] OK, so yeah.
[00:06:49] Saul, I mean, played it perfectly.
[00:06:51] But also, like, what other way would Saul have played that?
[00:06:54] Like, who else is he going to give it to?
[00:06:56] Especially since it had to be used at this tribal.
[00:06:59] Who else is going to say, well, let me block your vote.
[00:07:02] Like, you know, you don't know how they're split up.
[00:07:05] And you don't really know what's going on.
[00:07:07] So you could have, like, messed up a plan by sending it to anybody else besides Rachel.
[00:07:10] Yeah.
[00:07:10] For Saul, again, I don't know if he had to use it.
[00:07:15] That Saul has, like, no allegiance to Rachel.
[00:07:18] Like, there's a world where, like, Saul, like, did us a solid of, like, giving us an exciting tribal council by sending Rachel out of that tribal council with the Safety Without Power.
[00:07:30] But, I mean, Rachel could come back and start the Women's Alliance that votes out Saul when, like, there's no guarantee that this was a good move for Saul.
[00:07:38] I think it was a good move for everybody because it made that two cool five have to address each other and break down, right?
[00:07:45] Like, so if you're not in the two cool five, it's great.
[00:07:48] They need to be attacked.
[00:07:49] They need to start being breaking down anyway.
[00:07:50] I literally said this, like, oh, last week on a podcast.
[00:07:54] Like, I don't know why the two cool five wasn't being targeted.
[00:07:57] And it was just like Rome had such a big chaotic thing and people needed, like, an easy consensus vote.
[00:08:03] That's the only reason I think they haven't been targeted yet.
[00:08:06] Well, just go back to this two cool five.
[00:08:08] Like, was this sort of like a little bit of, like, a bloodletting in that, okay, that we made them vote out somebody from their own?
[00:08:16] And so now is it like, okay, well, now we don't have to worry about them as much.
[00:08:19] Whereas if they would have come back five strong, hear me out.
[00:08:23] Hear me out.
[00:08:24] I think it's the same consequence either way.
[00:08:26] Yeah, but couldn't it have united everybody against them had they come back five strong?
[00:08:31] And that for Saul, like, oh, this is actually what I need, that the six of us could stay strong against this five.
[00:08:39] I guess.
[00:08:40] I mean, I don't think it's as clear cut as that.
[00:08:43] I mean, I think Gabe's, I think the Gabe's and the Kyles of Emerge Tribe are getting targeted anyway.
[00:08:50] Kyle's done two individual immunities now in a row.
[00:08:54] The only person to ever wear the necklace.
[00:08:56] And he's a part of the two cool.
[00:08:58] He's getting targeted.
[00:08:59] Gabe's getting targeted.
[00:09:00] Those are going to happen whether the two cool five stayed strong or whether they didn't.
[00:09:05] You know what I mean?
[00:09:06] And I think once you get those big shields out of the way, then the game is going to reset again and people are going to be more intermingling.
[00:09:13] All right.
[00:09:13] Katara, you went through this in Survivor 45.
[00:09:17] You had the split tribal council right after Caleb does the shot in the dark.
[00:09:21] And then you end up in the split tribal council.
[00:09:23] You end up with Caleb and Jake.
[00:09:25] And that's the episode where Jake has a big plan.
[00:09:28] And we're going to save Caleb.
[00:09:30] We need you to go along with it.
[00:09:32] Yeah.
[00:09:33] This was literally my episode.
[00:09:35] Yeah.
[00:09:35] I forget that he needed you.
[00:09:36] You were supposed to go to rocks or say you were going to go to rocks.
[00:09:39] And you're like, what do I need this aggravation for?
[00:09:42] Which is so crazy.
[00:09:43] The parallels here.
[00:09:44] Because when Gabe was telling Rachel, oh, I'm willing to go to rocks.
[00:09:47] I was like, red flag, red flag, flag on the plate.
[00:09:50] Like, he's not going to rocks for you.
[00:09:53] Yeah.
[00:09:53] It's crazy to see it happen.
[00:09:55] And ours also ended with just this really emotional, deep vote out at the end.
[00:10:00] And it just, I don't know.
[00:10:03] It was scary to see it happening again almost in real time.
[00:10:07] But I think, OK, I like the split.
[00:10:11] I'm not bothered by it.
[00:10:12] I wish this happened when they first got together.
[00:10:15] Like, this could have been the Mergatory.
[00:10:18] You know, like, the fact that we have so many players who are safe and watching other people.
[00:10:23] I would have loved for that to happen in Mergatory.
[00:10:25] Because Mergatory just ended up being literally nothing.
[00:10:28] Well, can I say something about, this is very weird what they've done the last three episodes.
[00:10:35] We've had three episodes in a row where we have all of the survivors together.
[00:10:38] But we keep breaking them up into two groups.
[00:10:42] It's almost like I feel like that they don't want to have all the survivors on one beach.
[00:10:47] We just keep, like, soft launching the Merge and then, like, taking it back.
[00:10:52] Two weeks ago, we had the Survivor Sanctuary or the Survivor Social Hour where it's like,
[00:10:56] all right, now we're going to put half of you over here and then we're going to take it back.
[00:10:59] And then we get to last week with the Mergatory where it's like,
[00:11:03] all right, we're going to put half of you in the challenge and then half of you go on the reward.
[00:11:06] And then, oh, now you're all together, now take it back.
[00:11:08] And then we do it again with a third different group of half of the tribe this week.
[00:11:13] Jeff is salivating.
[00:11:15] Like, he loves this, though.
[00:11:16] He loves splitting us up.
[00:11:18] And I mean, to be fair, that's when we see some of these biggest moments happen.
[00:11:22] Because there is this tendency to, we're all together.
[00:11:27] Let's go for the safe vote.
[00:11:29] Let's do as much consensus as we can.
[00:11:31] And people are not hitting merge vote one and two.
[00:11:35] Like, if you're a smart player, I think you're not hitting the beach being like,
[00:11:38] all right, let's get some stuff happening immediately.
[00:11:41] Like, you're sitting back a little bit trying to fill it out.
[00:11:44] Let me assess the scene.
[00:11:46] And it's only after you're comfortable, you know the dynamics,
[00:11:49] that people are going to start making those big moves.
[00:11:51] And I got to figure out who's gone to eat three times and who's gone to eat zero times.
[00:11:55] I think Teenie and Sam, I think it would have gone to all three of the things.
[00:12:01] They had hot dogs, then they had charcuterie, and then they had ribs.
[00:12:07] I was shocked.
[00:12:08] And potato salad.
[00:12:09] I'm wondering how those ribs were.
[00:12:12] Because sometimes the food is cold.
[00:12:14] So I'm like, are the ribs cold?
[00:12:15] Or like, are they hot?
[00:12:16] Are they tender?
[00:12:17] You know?
[00:12:18] I mean, there weren't any left, so.
[00:12:20] I mean, it's Survivor.
[00:12:21] Are you going to have meat on a bone left at any situation?
[00:12:26] Yeah.
[00:12:27] I don't know.
[00:12:28] It looked like a hit for the people that.
[00:12:30] Yeah, it looked like it did.
[00:12:31] Yeah.
[00:12:31] The ribs were gone.
[00:12:32] The corn was left.
[00:12:33] I was like, okay, yeah.
[00:12:34] The corn, yeah.
[00:12:35] People saying corn in the chat.
[00:12:37] Yeah.
[00:12:38] So, but I wondered, is there anybody that hasn't eaten?
[00:12:42] Did they have somebody 0 for 3 on all three of the things?
[00:12:45] I would like to know that.
[00:12:46] But I just want to go back to Tiana.
[00:12:48] Okay.
[00:12:50] So with the Tiana and Rachel thing, so we think that from what you're saying,
[00:12:54] that we think Gabe is lying to Rachel.
[00:12:57] He doesn't, he really just wants her not to play the shot in the dark.
[00:13:01] That do we think that when, when Tiana talks to Caroline about this idea,
[00:13:10] that she's sort of like, oh, I think it's a good,
[00:13:12] there's no bad ideas in brainstorming.
[00:13:14] I want you to be completely open with me,
[00:13:16] but I don't think it's the right time right now.
[00:13:20] How sincere do you feel like that Caroline was there?
[00:13:23] I actually felt that was very sincere.
[00:13:25] I really liked this conversation for a few reasons.
[00:13:28] First, you should, I like that they have this kind of disclaimer,
[00:13:33] like we're allies brainstorming right now, right?
[00:13:36] Like you, this isn't a moment to say,
[00:13:38] you said X name, go run away and run back.
[00:13:41] Right.
[00:13:41] It kind of reminded me of, I think it was 46, but I can't remember.
[00:13:46] But yeah, it had to be 46 because someone was in alliance with Q or whatever.
[00:13:50] And they said like, I'm thinking about this name.
[00:13:53] And then like all hell broke loose.
[00:13:55] And I was like, how are you thinking?
[00:13:56] And I was like, what?
[00:13:57] You're supposed to be able to brainstorm with your allies.
[00:13:59] Like you're supposed to be able to say, let's pitch it out.
[00:14:02] So I love that.
[00:14:03] And then I think this is one of the first times
[00:14:06] that we're getting a good glimpse into Caroline's mind.
[00:14:09] Yes.
[00:14:10] I love that.
[00:14:11] And I'm like, she is the lethal weapon that Gabe is severely underestimating.
[00:14:19] And she has been smart enough to keep Sue in her front
[00:14:22] and play the, we're just the following duo.
[00:14:26] She's very good.
[00:14:27] And we'll be submissive.
[00:14:28] Yeah.
[00:14:28] And I'm like, I think Sue has that energy.
[00:14:31] And by her being the front face of the Caroline-Sue duo,
[00:14:36] Caroline gets attributed to that.
[00:14:37] But yeah, Caroline was super sharp.
[00:14:40] And I actually agreed with her that even if, you know, Tiana is right,
[00:14:45] you know, coming back as a strong five, everybody's going to be pointing to you.
[00:14:49] But if everybody's going to target Tuku,
[00:14:52] they're not going straight for the girls first.
[00:14:55] Now, the issue is Tiana is in a different situation than Caroline.
[00:15:00] So it very well could be that if somebody was going to target a Tuku,
[00:15:05] they would target a Tiana before a Caroline.
[00:15:07] So she has a little bit more to worry about.
[00:15:09] But I do agree with her.
[00:15:11] I think, I think they would have been fine in that instance.
[00:15:13] Yeah.
[00:15:13] A couple of those Caroline points that I want to touch on,
[00:15:17] where Tiana is going to tell her about the gay plan.
[00:15:22] And Caroline is encouraging it.
[00:15:24] Like, hey, you could be able to tell me anything.
[00:15:27] And I like that.
[00:15:28] I like that she's doing that.
[00:15:30] And it's great.
[00:15:32] It's great.
[00:15:32] But it's like a Boston Rob thing of like,
[00:15:36] it's the idea of like, hey,
[00:15:39] I'm all about like honesty and openness.
[00:15:42] It's you telling me things.
[00:15:43] Like Caroline is not revealing to Tiana also like,
[00:15:47] here's some things I'm thinking about.
[00:15:49] It's like, no, you just tell me what you're thinking about.
[00:15:51] And she's just taking it all in.
[00:15:53] At the tribal council,
[00:15:54] she talked a lot about the idea of,
[00:15:56] you know, it's not just big moves.
[00:15:58] It's big, smart moves that you want to make in the game.
[00:16:03] And that's really what it comes down to.
[00:16:05] I think that she just has been an underestimated player so far, Caroline.
[00:16:11] I don't, I think she's underestimated,
[00:16:13] but I don't think,
[00:16:15] I think that's intentional on her part, right?
[00:16:18] I think Caroline is being very deliberate
[00:16:22] and who she's choosing to align with,
[00:16:24] what she's doing.
[00:16:26] And I like that because this is kind of why I feel like
[00:16:30] Tiana got out tonight.
[00:16:31] It's, I don't believe that you could be this big,
[00:16:37] strong woman, strategic presence and survivor
[00:16:40] and make it through.
[00:16:42] That's why some of us lie about who we are
[00:16:44] and what we do.
[00:16:45] And you kind of as sick and disgusting as it sounds,
[00:16:49] you have to shrink yourself.
[00:16:51] You do have to be a little bit more palatable
[00:16:53] for people to believe that they can get over on you,
[00:16:56] for people to underestimate you.
[00:16:58] And Tiana's kind of a big, here I am,
[00:17:01] you know, with the TK, I'm not backing down.
[00:17:05] Like I'm going for Gabe, you know,
[00:17:07] when it's clearly like this really isn't
[00:17:09] maybe the best time for that.
[00:17:11] And that sucks because she really shouldn't have to,
[00:17:13] but it's like, if you don't,
[00:17:15] if you're not bro-ing with the bros
[00:17:17] or you're the like one that they think they can,
[00:17:20] you know, walk over and just lead you along the way,
[00:17:23] you're going to be considered a threat.
[00:17:25] And when people want to get you out,
[00:17:27] you'll be the first name up.
[00:17:29] And Caroline, I think is very unthreatening.
[00:17:31] I think that like, even if you were just trying
[00:17:33] to like come up, like name the people
[00:17:34] that are in the cast,
[00:17:36] like she probably wouldn't come up
[00:17:37] until like maybe the seventh or eighth person.
[00:17:39] And you'd say like, oh, Sue and Caroline.
[00:17:41] And she's just somebody that she doesn't stand out
[00:17:45] in like a big, in a big, like sparkly way.
[00:17:48] And I don't mean that as any like disrespect or shade.
[00:17:51] It's like a great camouflage.
[00:17:53] No, I know exactly what you mean.
[00:17:54] Yeah, yeah.
[00:17:55] You almost forget about her.
[00:17:57] And that's kind of where you have to be,
[00:18:00] I think in Survivor.
[00:18:01] Be forgettable on the outside,
[00:18:04] but still being lethal and strategic along the way.
[00:18:06] And I'm like, I see you, Caroline.
[00:18:09] I love it.
[00:18:09] I think it's perfect gameplay,
[00:18:10] but I like that she was a little sad
[00:18:13] about Tiana going.
[00:18:14] It felt like it actually was heartbreaking for her.
[00:18:17] What am I jumping the gun?
[00:18:17] No, no, no.
[00:18:18] I wanted to jump on your point.
[00:18:20] So for Caroline in that moment,
[00:18:24] how conflicted do you feel like Caroline actually was?
[00:18:27] Because this was such an interesting tribal council,
[00:18:29] Ketur, because yes, this was,
[00:18:31] there was no jury tonight,
[00:18:32] but there was a jury tonight.
[00:18:34] There was a jury.
[00:18:36] of people watching basically,
[00:18:40] like it was so interesting that it was,
[00:18:42] the Tuku tribe had,
[00:18:43] was having a pre,
[00:18:44] a continuation of their pre-merged tribal council
[00:18:47] with the audience of all the other players in the game.
[00:18:49] And so was Caroline in any way,
[00:18:52] and this is, I always,
[00:18:53] this is how I get in trouble on the podcast,
[00:18:55] because I imagine things that are not there.
[00:19:00] Do you think,
[00:19:01] was Caroline,
[00:19:03] was any of this theater tonight?
[00:19:05] Oh my God.
[00:19:06] And I think almost always I am wrong
[00:19:07] when I,
[00:19:08] when I make this,
[00:19:09] this claim,
[00:19:10] but was any of this theater from Caroline
[00:19:12] that she was so conflicted
[00:19:14] that she really was,
[00:19:16] like,
[00:19:16] this was not like a easy decision for her.
[00:19:18] This was that she was,
[00:19:20] oh, Jeff,
[00:19:20] I don't know what to do.
[00:19:22] I'm speechless.
[00:19:22] This is very hard for me.
[00:19:24] Do you think that she was,
[00:19:25] she was pouring it on a little bit?
[00:19:27] Absolutely.
[00:19:28] I think a hundred percent,
[00:19:29] well,
[00:19:29] not a hundred percent.
[00:19:30] I think there is some truth to her actually being like,
[00:19:34] damn,
[00:19:34] I don't want to let Tiana go
[00:19:36] because I don't think that Tiana was like a harmful force for Caroline.
[00:19:40] You know,
[00:19:41] it doesn't hurt Caroline to keep a Tiana around.
[00:19:44] Right.
[00:19:44] But I feel like when you are playing survivor,
[00:19:49] what may hurt and be sad to happen versus what has to happen
[00:19:54] and what just needs to be done are two very different things.
[00:19:58] And if I'm Caroline and I'm in her position,
[00:20:00] I know we are not going to quietly get through this merge with five members of our tribe.
[00:20:06] Anyway,
[00:20:07] somebody's got to go.
[00:20:09] And I don't want it to be the big guy.
[00:20:11] People did it with four.
[00:20:14] You know,
[00:20:15] 45.
[00:20:16] That's a whole different situation.
[00:20:18] That's a whole different situation,
[00:20:20] Rob.
[00:20:21] But you know what I'm saying?
[00:20:22] Starting the,
[00:20:22] starting the merge with five,
[00:20:24] when every other tribe just has,
[00:20:26] you know,
[00:20:26] three,
[00:20:27] what now,
[00:20:27] or yeah,
[00:20:28] three or four,
[00:20:29] like,
[00:20:30] and,
[00:20:30] and Tuku is big.
[00:20:31] Tuku is a strong overall force.
[00:20:33] You got the Kyle,
[00:20:34] you got Tiana,
[00:20:35] you got Gabe.
[00:20:35] Like it's,
[00:20:36] it's a big,
[00:20:36] strong force,
[00:20:37] right?
[00:20:38] If I'm Caroline,
[00:20:39] I do not want to get rid of my biggest shield,
[00:20:43] Gabe.
[00:20:44] It just can't happen.
[00:20:46] That gives me one more tribal that I know for a fact that people are going to come to
[00:20:50] try to get out Gabe before me.
[00:20:52] Yeah.
[00:20:53] So getting out Tiana makes the most,
[00:20:55] it's like the only thing that Caroline can do.
[00:20:58] So she might have like not wanted to see Tiana go,
[00:21:00] but I feel like that she can want to lose Gabe.
[00:21:03] Like,
[00:21:03] exactly.
[00:21:04] So I think she was like,
[00:21:05] Tiana,
[00:21:06] I don't want to see you go girl,
[00:21:07] but it's got to get done.
[00:21:08] Yeah.
[00:21:08] And that's where the little heart thing is,
[00:21:11] but I'm still going to write down your name.
[00:21:13] Yeah.
[00:21:13] Because I feel like that in the preseason,
[00:21:15] and I don't know if you thought this at all,
[00:21:17] but I feel like that Caroline,
[00:21:19] that her like preseason press,
[00:21:21] she talked a lot about how,
[00:21:22] Oh,
[00:21:23] I'm very blunt.
[00:21:23] I thought she was going to be like an Emily type.
[00:21:26] And she is not.
[00:21:27] I've been hearing people say that.
[00:21:28] She has not been like as big of a personality,
[00:21:32] certainly as Emily was on the show.
[00:21:34] And I think that works for her.
[00:21:36] I think that that speaks to,
[00:21:37] you know,
[00:21:38] that she's been able to like be under the radar,
[00:21:41] which was something that Emily certainly was not in,
[00:21:44] in your season.
[00:21:45] But I just feel like that she does not seem like that.
[00:21:49] She is like a very emotional player.
[00:21:52] And it seemed like that tonight she was really struggling with the
[00:21:55] decision she had to make.
[00:21:57] I think struggling is,
[00:21:59] is,
[00:21:59] but that's why I think it was stronger.
[00:22:01] She was faking.
[00:22:03] Yeah.
[00:22:03] I think she was like,
[00:22:05] I know what's got to get done,
[00:22:06] but I,
[00:22:07] I can humanize you and feel sorry that you have to leave.
[00:22:11] And you know,
[00:22:12] what's really messed up,
[00:22:14] Rob is I'm sitting there watching Tiana cry.
[00:22:17] And I'm like,
[00:22:18] these mother duck is about to let her go.
[00:22:21] And she's over there crying,
[00:22:23] you know,
[00:22:23] it just is like adding a little pain.
[00:22:25] And I,
[00:22:26] I remember watching people leave with just devastation on them.
[00:22:31] And that's what it felt like Tiana was experiencing tonight.
[00:22:34] It seemed like the moment was getting away from Tiana a little bit where
[00:22:37] she was in the middle and she got a bad seat.
[00:22:40] She,
[00:22:41] at this like live tribal where she was in the front and it was just,
[00:22:45] it was kind of sad.
[00:22:46] Like she was sitting there and we see the whispering happening.
[00:22:49] Everybody behind her.
[00:22:51] And did you see as soon as she's talking and Rachel's gone,
[00:22:56] Kyle and Gabe turned to each other.
[00:22:58] And I was like,
[00:22:59] this is my worry.
[00:23:00] I literally said when they were still just to go,
[00:23:04] you know,
[00:23:04] pre whatever this chaotic connection combination is,
[00:23:08] that's certainly not a merge.
[00:23:09] I said,
[00:23:10] Tiana's in the most danger because she didn't,
[00:23:14] uh,
[00:23:15] start off by swooping up Sue and Caroline.
[00:23:19] She went with the boys,
[00:23:20] which is fine.
[00:23:21] But if you're going to be with the boys,
[00:23:22] then you got to be the boy.
[00:23:24] You got to bro out with them.
[00:23:25] You got to make them feel super comfortable.
[00:23:27] And like all that TK stuff and everything separated her from them.
[00:23:32] And I feel like she,
[00:23:33] yeah,
[00:23:34] she only has Kyle now.
[00:23:36] And so it's like,
[00:23:37] Gabe is doing such a masterful job of having an intimate connection with
[00:23:43] everybody in the,
[00:23:44] in the tribe.
[00:23:46] And so it's like,
[00:23:47] well,
[00:23:47] if you're going to be against him and he's got a connection with everybody
[00:23:49] else,
[00:23:50] that I think is her downfall because she can't now rely on the girls.
[00:23:54] Like they might have a connection with her,
[00:23:56] but really it seemed from the edit,
[00:23:59] Tiana only connected with the women when it was time for the TK vote.
[00:24:02] Before that,
[00:24:03] she was just broing out.
[00:24:04] Yeah.
[00:24:04] She would got snowed the whole game that she,
[00:24:07] she had that moment with TK on the mat where,
[00:24:10] uh,
[00:24:11] that,
[00:24:11] uh,
[00:24:11] Jeff is like,
[00:24:12] Oh,
[00:24:12] okay.
[00:24:13] I'm seeing some,
[00:24:13] some smiling.
[00:24:14] And TK was like,
[00:24:15] Hey,
[00:24:15] uh,
[00:24:15] I don't want any smiling going on.
[00:24:17] And then they had like a little bit of like an awkward moment there.
[00:24:21] And then they sold her like,
[00:24:23] Hey,
[00:24:23] this is the boss epic boss girl move.
[00:24:26] Vote out TK.
[00:24:27] TK wanted to vote out Sue.
[00:24:29] If,
[00:24:29] if she goes with TK on that vote,
[00:24:32] I know it's going to be three,
[00:24:33] three potentially.
[00:24:34] And Gabe is saying he'll go to rocks,
[00:24:36] but if they can get through that vote and Sue goes out,
[00:24:40] Tiana's making the merge.
[00:24:41] And she's has a completely different situation.
[00:24:43] I know.
[00:24:44] And here's what's so conflicting about that because logically that makes sense.
[00:24:50] But I also know what it feels like to be in that game and have a man just be
[00:24:56] disrespecting you.
[00:24:57] And it is really hard to swallow.
[00:24:59] And I think when Tiana actually got TK out,
[00:25:02] we were all shocked because it goes against survivor life rules.
[00:25:07] Like it literally never happens.
[00:25:10] Right.
[00:25:10] And usually in that situation,
[00:25:12] you would say,
[00:25:12] no,
[00:25:13] need this TK person.
[00:25:14] It's pre-merged.
[00:25:15] We'll just TN her out.
[00:25:17] And she would have suffered the consequences for that.
[00:25:20] And I think what we're seeing now is just the delayed consequences of that
[00:25:24] because she lost the guys.
[00:25:26] She wasn't with the girls.
[00:25:28] And now you're viewed as this big,
[00:25:30] strong,
[00:25:30] powerful person who nobody feels they can easily manipulate.
[00:25:34] Yeah.
[00:25:34] She never knew what was actually going on.
[00:25:37] I think she always thought,
[00:25:38] Hey,
[00:25:39] it's the women Gabe's on the bottom.
[00:25:40] And they did a really good job of selling her that for,
[00:25:43] you know,
[00:25:44] two weeks in the game.
[00:25:45] And to the point where then every time she had the chance,
[00:25:47] she was trying to throw Gabe under the bus,
[00:25:49] trying to throw Gabe under the bus.
[00:25:51] And she thought the girls were with her more than they were.
[00:25:53] And that's what hurts too,
[00:25:55] because a part of it is,
[00:25:57] you know,
[00:25:58] I wanted her to pick up on how close Gabe was with Caroline and Sue,
[00:26:04] because when she was,
[00:26:05] she was mixed when they had,
[00:26:07] I think social hour.
[00:26:07] And she's like blatantly throwing Gabe under and Sue is over there.
[00:26:13] Fierce Gabe truther,
[00:26:14] you know,
[00:26:15] like,
[00:26:15] Oh my goodness.
[00:26:17] How dare.
[00:26:17] And I'm like,
[00:26:18] damn it.
[00:26:18] Tiana.
[00:26:19] Like,
[00:26:19] I don't,
[00:26:20] you know,
[00:26:20] I'm like,
[00:26:21] I read that these people are connected to him in a deeper,
[00:26:25] intimate way than they are for you.
[00:26:26] But,
[00:26:27] you know,
[00:26:28] maybe that,
[00:26:28] that wasn't as clear on the,
[00:26:30] on the tribe.
[00:26:31] That's as it was on the episode.
[00:26:33] This episode is brought to you by better help.
[00:26:36] Okay.
[00:26:36] November.
[00:26:37] This is a month that's all about gratitude.
[00:26:39] And one of the things that I'm especially grateful for is the audience of this podcast who have listened to me,
[00:26:45] not just talk about reality TV,
[00:26:48] but often I occasionally can vent about different things that are going on in my own life.
[00:26:54] And I appreciate you being there for me.
[00:26:57] But another person that we don't always get to thank enough are ourselves.
[00:27:02] And sometimes we need to remind ourselves that we're trying our best to make sense out of everything in this crazy world.
[00:27:08] And it's not easy.
[00:27:10] So here's a reminder to send some thanks to all the people in your life,
[00:27:14] including yourself.
[00:27:16] Now,
[00:27:16] maybe you don't have a podcast where you can talk about different things that might be on your mind.
[00:27:21] Better help is a great place to be able to talk about anything that might be on your mind.

[00:28:01] I want to go back to Rachel.
[00:28:02] We haven't talked too much about her.
[00:28:04] And she's in this predicament where she's there with the five people from Tuku.
[00:28:08] And she's really feeling like that she's in a tough spot here.
[00:28:12] How do you think that she did?
[00:28:13] She basically gets pitched a couple of different plans.
[00:28:16] She gets pitched possibly the idea of going after Gabe to go with Tiana.
[00:28:25] But also Gabe comes to her and I believe he says, hey, vote with me and Kyle.
[00:28:29] We're going to vote out Caroline.
[00:28:31] Yeah.
[00:28:32] I think the question of Rachel, exceptional as usual.
[00:28:37] Like she did everything textbook what you're supposed to do.
[00:28:40] If you're in a Rachel situation, which is basically I'm in the pot, the water is filled
[00:28:45] up and I'm watching you about to turn that stove on.
[00:28:48] Right.
[00:28:49] You are saying yes to every plan.
[00:28:51] Everything.
[00:28:52] Sure.
[00:28:52] It sounds great.
[00:28:53] I love it.
[00:28:54] Absolutely.
[00:28:55] And I think that while there's truth in Tiana's plan where she really was thinking,
[00:28:59] I would love to get Gabe out.
[00:29:01] Right.
[00:29:01] That was a real plan.
[00:29:03] Yeah, that was a real plan.
[00:29:04] But Gabe's plan is so obviously freaking fake.
[00:29:07] I'm like, Gabe, come on, at least pick another name.
[00:29:10] But I guess, you know, Caroline might have been the only one.
[00:29:13] But to me, if I'm Rachel and I'm hearing Gabe say I'm going to get out Caroline.
[00:29:17] I'm like, that's not believable at all.
[00:29:19] Like, I wouldn't believe it at all.
[00:29:21] Do you think that Rachel believed that?
[00:29:22] Because she seemed to think, I mean, in the confessional.
[00:29:24] No.
[00:29:24] That you don't think so.
[00:29:26] No, I don't think she believed that.
[00:29:28] It was just that he said Caroline's name, though.
[00:29:29] Do you think that that was like that he said Caroline's name because he did he like loop
[00:29:33] Caroline in like, hey, I'm going to tell her it's going to be your name.
[00:29:36] So that we try to get her to.
[00:29:40] No, I think Kyle is safe and nobody would believe that Gabe is targeting Sue.
[00:29:46] Mm hmm.
[00:29:47] I wish you would have said Tiana because I think that would have been a little more believable.
[00:29:52] But if I am Rachel, I am not believing that Gabe is going after Caroline.
[00:29:57] But I think if I'm Rachel, I'm doing the same thing.
[00:30:00] Oh, my God, I so appreciate you telling me this.
[00:30:03] Thank you so much.
[00:30:04] Can I hug you?
[00:30:05] It literally kind of reminded me of the situation I had when Caleb was like coming to me that
[00:30:11] almost this exact same moment in our season and saying, oh, my God, I want to tell you
[00:30:15] this information for the first time ever right before I about to get voted out.
[00:30:19] And I was like, oh, my goodness, I so appreciate this.
[00:30:22] Thank you.
[00:30:23] You really helped me.
[00:30:23] This is awesome.
[00:30:24] Of course, I'll never let you go.
[00:30:26] And I just feel like Rachel played that perfectly.
[00:30:29] And if she had gone to tribal without that advantage.
[00:30:34] I think she still would have been gone.
[00:30:36] I think so, too.
[00:30:37] But but I think that that's all she could have done.
[00:30:40] Yeah.
[00:30:40] Now, Rachel didn't rat anybody from Tuku out to anybody else.
[00:30:44] She doesn't go at least that not what that we saw.
[00:30:47] She doesn't go to Caroline to hate saying your name.
[00:30:51] She doesn't go to Gabe and say, hey, Tiana is saying your name.
[00:30:54] Do you like the way that she handled her business?
[00:30:59] I mean, I guess she could have been a little more in panic mode and let me try to break them
[00:31:06] up a little bit more.
[00:31:07] That's the blood sword, too.
[00:31:08] But it's exactly.
[00:31:10] And it's like you're already the person that's going to be the easy, safe vote.
[00:31:16] If it feels like now you're causing chaos and you're like, what?
[00:31:20] Oh, my God, she's like, you know, if if they're able to to turn it back on to you,
[00:31:24] it's even worse. I do feel like if I'm Rachel and I feel that against the wall, I'm fighting.
[00:31:31] I'm I'm pulling at every thread to see what sticks.
[00:31:34] And maybe she did.
[00:31:36] You know, maybe we don't know.
[00:31:37] We didn't see it, but it didn't feel like she did.
[00:31:40] But I don't know.
[00:31:41] It seems like the one that could have worked was that it to go to Gabe and say, hey, Gabe,
[00:31:46] you know, Tiana was trying to get me to vote you out.
[00:31:49] I was when I went to the Survivor Social, she was telling me all about like this.
[00:31:54] Gabe does that, you know, and maybe I think that there could have been some.
[00:32:01] But she did believe him then.
[00:32:03] You think so?
[00:32:04] I don't know.
[00:32:04] Because now I'm like, you're right.
[00:32:06] I think that her going to Gabe and telling him that like Gabe's ego, like that would have
[00:32:11] infuriated him.
[00:32:11] He would have been like, let's turn it.
[00:32:13] But Caroline.
[00:32:14] Caroline.
[00:32:15] So I don't think that that's it was maybe Rachel bought it, but it wasn't.
[00:32:19] It can't be a legit plan.
[00:32:20] But all right.
[00:32:22] Gatora, we did not get to see when Rachel opens her bag.
[00:32:27] And from what Saul read, it was like a take your pick advantage, which I believe is new.
[00:32:33] You have the opportunity to block a vote, which I think is also new.
[00:32:38] Chat, let me know.
[00:32:39] The block a vote or safety without power.
[00:32:42] Rachel, when she reads the advantage, says, hey, I got safety without power.
[00:32:51] Yeah, I heard that.
[00:32:53] But it's also like what other like what is she going to say?
[00:32:58] I have this option and that option.
[00:32:59] I'm going to choose safety without power.
[00:33:01] It's like such a meaningless thing.
[00:33:03] It's like I got safety without power.
[00:33:06] Also, have we had safety without power in a minute?
[00:33:09] Yeah, I feel like it's it's I'm not sure if it's you know, I think that drew in your season had it and didn't use it.
[00:33:18] I don't feel like I think he had it.
[00:33:21] Drew Basile.
[00:33:22] And I think he didn't end up using it.
[00:33:24] OK, maybe that's why it's not fresh in my head.
[00:33:26] But if Rachel played that damn block a vote, that would have been like, girl, go home.
[00:33:35] Yeah, you deserve it if you're choosing the block a vote.
[00:33:37] Yeah.
[00:33:37] I mean, she definitely read it as if it weren't a choice.
[00:33:40] But I don't know that there even was a choice for real for her.
[00:33:45] Yeah.
[00:33:46] All right.
[00:33:46] So she ends up playing safety without power and she goes home.
[00:33:52] How do you feel like that she comes out of this?
[00:33:56] Smiling.
[00:33:57] Wonderful.
[00:33:58] Yeah.
[00:33:58] But you think she's in a good spot moving forward?
[00:33:59] You think that she's like.
[00:34:00] I think Rachel's in a fantastic spot.
[00:34:02] Oh, I think she's in a fantastic spot just because in terms of strong women.
[00:34:07] Now, see, I was nervous in the beginning because when I started the season, I was like my winner picks.
[00:34:12] Obviously, Asia first primary.
[00:34:14] We love you, Asia.
[00:34:15] Sure.
[00:34:15] But I was like, if not, then Anika or Rachel, because they are killing it.
[00:34:21] They're these strong, powerful women, but don't necessarily give off big, strong, powerful women.
[00:34:26] Super strategic and smart.
[00:34:28] And then once Anika was gone, I was like, OK, I think Rachel's got the best position.
[00:34:32] And did you hear the way Caroline was talking about her?
[00:34:35] We all like her the most.
[00:34:37] She's the glue to everything.
[00:34:39] She's the most dangerous.
[00:34:40] We're worried about her.
[00:34:41] Right.
[00:34:41] Yeah, exactly.
[00:34:42] And I feel like now, once we get back, the cards are reshuffled.
[00:34:47] The deck is shuffled.
[00:34:48] And Rachel is looking like, girl, this little bitty thing that almost went home.
[00:34:53] You lost your people.
[00:34:55] You know, you lost your Anika.
[00:34:56] You're at the bottom.
[00:34:57] You were with all these tukus.
[00:34:58] You managed to scrape by.
[00:35:00] And thank God someone picked you up and saved you and gave you this advantage.
[00:35:04] Right.
[00:35:05] And now people are going to be focused on the bigger targets.
[00:35:07] Yeah.
[00:35:07] I think she's in a fantastic spot.
[00:35:10] Katera, so Rachel, I know, was an alternate for, was it 445?
[00:35:15] Was Rachel out there with you guys?
[00:35:18] No, Tiana was out there with us.
[00:35:20] Okay, so Tiana was the alternate for 45 and Rachel was the alternate for 46.
[00:35:24] Which makes it even more sad.
[00:35:26] Is that why I know, did you have a, like, did you connect with her at all when you saw her there?
[00:35:31] Yeah.
[00:35:32] So there are two people from my time at Pondy where I feel like the entire cast was like, we love you, even silently if we're not talking.
[00:35:43] And that's Hannah and Tiana.
[00:35:45] Yeah.
[00:35:45] Like, there is not a 45er who doesn't like Tiana or Hannah.
[00:35:50] Like, they just gave off good, trustworthy, loyal, I got you energy.
[00:35:55] And that's why I was like, I really do, my heart does go out to Tiana because, you know, nobody is going to play a perfect game.
[00:36:03] You know what I mean?
[00:36:04] But I do think she just fell victim to being just too big of a person.
[00:36:09] And people was like, hey, you got to go.
[00:36:11] So, yeah, it sucks to have seen her at Pondy and then see her get the chance to play.
[00:36:16] And then this was just such a devastating exit.
[00:36:18] Like, the tears, the crying.
[00:36:20] I was like, oh, my God, Lord, I hate this feeling for her.
[00:36:22] And get that close and not make the jury.
[00:36:24] I know.
[00:36:25] It was her dream to make the jury.
[00:36:26] I know.
[00:36:27] And then to be saying that, it was like some creepy, evil foreshadowing.
[00:36:32] Like, her crying and saying, like, this is my dream.
[00:36:36] Yeah.
[00:36:37] Do you feel like they were trying to, like, um, like.
[00:36:41] We love you, Tiana.
[00:36:43] Tiana was her story in the episode.
[00:36:45] It was almost like, uh, like, we're ready to cue the Eminem that she was talking about how, like, hey, you know, you come out here, you have your shot.
[00:36:52] I don't want to miss out on an opportunity.
[00:36:55] And I'll be so upset with myself if there was a move that I could have made that I didn't.
[00:37:01] Do you feel like that she missed, like, a, uh, a move that she should have made tonight?
[00:37:09] Tonight, I think she was dead in the water.
[00:37:11] Once Rachel was saved, Tiana was gone.
[00:37:13] And I think Tiana was only saved because Tuku was merging and they needed to be collective.
[00:37:20] I mean, um, two weeks ago when we were at the R-Hap event, we see Tiana or we see Caroline on stage or on the episode saying, like, you know, I got to rally all these people together and all these cracks and hold them together.
[00:37:33] And Kelly looks over at me and she's like, yeah, that was my life on Velo.
[00:37:37] And I'm like, it's true.
[00:37:38] Like, all the fighting, the disagreements, the dislike, all that goes to the back burner when we are entering the merge and we have a strong group of numbers.
[00:37:47] And I think that's the only reason they hadn't targeted Tiana and they were comfortable going for a Rachel because they wanted to keep that together.
[00:37:55] But basically, we went back in time tonight.
[00:37:57] And it was just as if Tuku had a regular pre-merged tribal and the writing was on the wall for Tiana since then.
[00:38:04] So I think her mistakes happened earlier at Tuku and she just paid for them now.
[00:38:10] Okay, let's go back to the beginning of the episode.
[00:38:13] And so we start off with Andy.
[00:38:15] And Andy is upset.
[00:38:17] How are you feeling about Andy?
[00:38:18] Did anybody else think the whole episode was going to be about Andy getting revenge on Goddard?
[00:38:23] Like, that's immediately what I thought.
[00:38:24] Well, maybe that's foreshadowing.
[00:38:25] Maybe that's coming because...
[00:38:26] I think that's going to be next episode.
[00:38:28] Andy was upset.
[00:38:29] He wanted to know.
[00:38:30] I was the backup vote, he said last week.
[00:38:32] And Saul comes to him and Saul says, okay, Andy, you know, I only did it just because I thought Rome had an idol.
[00:38:37] And Andy was very straight up with Saul.
[00:38:40] He was like, well, yeah, you thought Rome had an idol.
[00:38:42] And that means you wrote my name down out of anybody?
[00:38:46] You're so confident.
[00:38:48] Did he say like out of all the people on the drive or on the earth?
[00:38:51] We're 11 other people here.
[00:38:56] Sam, Sam did it.
[00:38:58] And Andy is shook.
[00:39:00] Yeah.
[00:39:00] And I'm like, okay, well, I don't know.
[00:39:04] What's Andy going to do?
[00:39:05] And we see again, Andy is up all night.
[00:39:07] It was like going back to the first episode and he's in his head.
[00:39:10] And we see the next morning who shows up?
[00:39:14] Genevieve.
[00:39:15] Now, Katara, I wrote an article this week for our newsletter, The Confessional.
[00:39:20] And I wrote an article all about Genevieve.
[00:39:22] And I said, I don't know what Genevieve's path is moving forward.
[00:39:28] I was like, okay, Genevieve is the one person that's all clean.
[00:39:31] Everybody else is covered in mud.
[00:39:33] Genevieve really is standing out.
[00:39:35] But I don't see, I don't see like, I just see dead ends for Genevieve.
[00:39:39] Yeah.
[00:39:40] And what I could not have foreseen.
[00:39:41] You could read that at the realitytvnewsletter.com if you want to read.
[00:39:46] But where I was, I didn't see a path of Genevieve and Andy.
[00:39:52] What a cute.
[00:39:52] And to have Genevieve now to rebound off of Rome.
[00:40:02] To Andy.
[00:40:03] To Andy.
[00:40:03] Look, Genevieve likes a certain type of ally.
[00:40:07] I was going to say chaotic.
[00:40:08] She likes the chaotic, messy, a little toxic ally.
[00:40:12] That's the kind of person she likes to work with.
[00:40:14] Yeah.
[00:40:15] But I mean, I feel like Andy's a little more palatable than a Rome.
[00:40:19] So I guess we'll give her a little slack.
[00:40:22] I didn't see the Genevieve and Andy thing coming either.
[00:40:24] But it makes sense to me because Andy, I think, gravitates to a stronger, clearer, strategic presence.
[00:40:33] That can kind of help be a little bit more of a guide for him.
[00:40:37] Right.
[00:40:37] Genevieve is playing the same role that Rachel presumably could have played with Andy initially.
[00:40:43] Remember, that was him wanting to gravitate to Rachel and everything.
[00:40:47] Yeah.
[00:40:47] And then Rachel was like, not a little too messy for me.
[00:40:50] And I wonder if that's going to happen with Genevieve or I'm a little alarmed because Genevieve's been killing it.
[00:40:58] But when you look at the women who are killing it, I'm like, they're front and center.
[00:41:03] And Genevieve is not as, I think, low key as a Caroline.
[00:41:07] Yes.
[00:41:08] Genevieve, just like in that image was so striking last week where she was the one person who was clean.
[00:41:14] While everybody else is dirty.
[00:41:16] Exactly.
[00:41:16] It just even accentuated it more of how much Genevieve stands out from the group.
[00:41:21] I did think that Genevieve caught a break in the immunity challenge where that, okay, it was Genevieve and Teenie on one side and Kyle was on the other side.
[00:41:31] And Kyle fell out.
[00:41:33] And then Jeff said, all right, we could stop the challenge now.
[00:41:35] Yeah.
[00:41:36] And it didn't end.
[00:41:37] Exactly.
[00:41:38] I know.
[00:41:38] I guess.
[00:41:39] I know exactly what you're going to say.
[00:41:40] Yes, yes, yes.
[00:41:40] Keep going.
[00:41:41] Yeah.
[00:41:41] It didn't end with Genevieve and Teenie duking it out where Genevieve ends up beating out Teenie.
[00:41:48] Maybe Teenie ends up beating out Genevieve.
[00:41:51] But Genevieve, if she then, she had the advantage.
[00:41:55] If she beats Teenie, it's all of a sudden people are looking at her like a Franny.
[00:41:59] I was thinking the same thing.
[00:42:01] She's winning too much.
[00:42:03] We have to get rid of her.
[00:42:04] So I felt that she really caught a break.
[00:42:06] Yeah, I think she did.
[00:42:08] Her and she both.
[00:42:08] But I don't think that she is under the radar enough to where this break is going to actually insulate her too much.
[00:42:15] I think she's going to do something else big because she's a big player.
[00:42:19] But I just, I'm worried about her, her target.
[00:42:22] Thank God they don't know that she's a lawyer.
[00:42:24] Like it would just add insult to injury.
[00:42:26] But when she went to get the advantage, I was like, damn, like it wasn't nearby.
[00:42:32] It required you leaving camp.
[00:42:34] It required you swimming all the way out.
[00:42:36] So now we see who's putting the effort out there, who's putting the energy out there.
[00:42:40] Then you get the advantage.
[00:42:41] I was actually grateful that she lost for that challenge so that it brought her down a little bit.
[00:42:47] But yeah, people are going to remember you were the last two standing.
[00:42:50] And yeah, and then her being allied with Andy, I feel like it's just going to make her target glaringly more obvious.
[00:42:56] Because the contrast.
[00:42:57] But people don't know that yet.
[00:42:59] Yeah, but they might soon.
[00:43:01] Well, I mean, it just started.
[00:43:02] Okay, so at this feast, they started talking about, okay, yellow and red, let's work together.
[00:43:07] There's five, there's five tuku.
[00:43:09] We can, we can do it.
[00:43:11] There's more of us than there are of them.
[00:43:13] But there's these two things going on where, okay, yellow and red are going to work together.
[00:43:18] And all right, that sounds great.
[00:43:20] But Andy is on a vendetta against Sam.
[00:43:25] So what do you think ends up happening after this?
[00:43:28] By the way, I love this freaking editing montage of Andy just thinking and reminiscing.
[00:43:36] It was like Jennifer had that earlier this season.
[00:43:38] The two of them are together now.
[00:43:39] I'm like, editors are really kind of being like, all right, let's mix it up.
[00:43:44] Him giving Sierra his shot in the dark and Sam like, yeah, we got you.
[00:43:48] And then it just cuts to Andy writing Sam in the sand by himself and everybody else on the other side.
[00:43:54] I was like, oh, I love that.
[00:43:56] I think Andy is going to look to tuku because in order for him to turn fully against Gata, he's going to have to pull in some tukus.
[00:44:05] Because Lavo, old Lavo is going to be connected to Gata.
[00:44:07] And who could he pull in from Tuku?
[00:44:11] Well, it's got to be Caroline.
[00:44:13] He has the Angela with them, right?
[00:44:15] It's got to be, right?
[00:44:16] They already have that connection.
[00:44:18] She is definitely the kind of player that would be comfortable and warm and welcoming in.
[00:44:24] And then I think they're going to go and try to take out Sam and Sierra.
[00:44:28] Yeah.
[00:44:29] Okay.
[00:44:29] Yeah.
[00:44:29] I see it that way, too.
[00:44:31] But we'll see what happens next time out.
[00:44:34] Because also next time the auction is back.
[00:44:36] I know.
[00:44:37] I'm like, this season has given me such flashbacks.
[00:44:41] Not only is it our sister season.
[00:44:43] So, like, literally exactly this time last year, I was watching this exact scene play out with me in it, which is so mind-blowing.
[00:44:51] But also now they have a lot of the same things we have.
[00:44:54] And I saw them getting the auction.
[00:44:56] I'm like, damn, this is going to be really cool to see how they modify it.
[00:45:00] You think everybody's going to look for the money for the auction this time, right?
[00:45:04] Who didn't do something this time?
[00:45:07] I think it was Rome.
[00:45:09] Rome didn't look for the advantage.
[00:45:12] That was in a secret scene.
[00:45:13] Yeah.
[00:45:14] Okay.
[00:45:14] Yeah.
[00:45:14] He's gone.
[00:45:15] So, yeah.
[00:45:15] And he's basically the Bruce.
[00:45:17] So, yeah.
[00:45:17] I think everybody's going to look for it.
[00:45:19] Who wouldn't?
[00:45:20] Who's on this tribe?
[00:45:22] Who wouldn't?
[00:45:22] Yeah.
[00:45:23] And I don't know.
[00:45:24] Some of them are eating so much, though.
[00:45:25] I don't know how crazy they're going to go at the auction.
[00:45:28] You always want to eat at the auction.
[00:45:31] It's less about the food.
[00:45:33] Sam and Teenie might be like, you know, honestly, like, I'm kind of full.
[00:45:37] I've had like a big meal every single day for the last three days.
[00:45:40] Three meals in two weeks is enough.
[00:45:43] Yeah.
[00:45:43] Let me tell you, it's not.
[00:45:45] You still want to eat.
[00:45:46] I think I ate.
[00:45:47] I think I had pretty much every event.
[00:45:50] What did you get at the auction?
[00:45:50] Except for one.
[00:45:51] What did I get at the auction?
[00:45:53] Damn fish eyes.
[00:45:54] Oh, OK.
[00:45:56] All right.
[00:45:57] Well, at least you have to go on the other things.
[00:45:59] Yeah.
[00:45:59] The auction, I had literally no food, which was kind of like, damn.
[00:46:02] Yeah.
[00:46:02] OK.
[00:46:04] I want to bring in some questions from the audience.
[00:46:07] OK.
[00:46:08] But first, let me just mention, we talked about what happened with you one year ago.
[00:46:12] But it was 10 years ago that it was one of a year of crazy seasons of Survivor.
[00:46:19] And all year we've been celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Survivor Kageon.
[00:46:23] Right.
[00:46:23] We've been working, Katara, on our very first documentary here at RHAP.
[00:46:28] Oh, wow.
[00:46:28] It's called I Stand Kageon.
[00:46:31] And you can watch it on YouTube.
[00:46:34] Go to IStanKageon.com and check out our interviews with players from the season, podcasters, Survivor
[00:46:41] alumni, and more.
[00:46:42] People have been really enjoying it.
[00:46:45] We were in Philadelphia on Monday night with the purple pants badass Bryce Isaiah for the
[00:46:51] world premiere screening.
[00:46:53] And now it's available for everybody to check out.
[00:46:55] So we'd love to hear what you think of I Stand Kageon.
[00:46:59] How wonderful would it be to like in 10 years, like somebody is making a stand for your season?
[00:47:06] Like that's awesome.
[00:47:07] Only nine years now for you, Katara.
[00:47:12] Yay, Rob.
[00:47:15] All right.
[00:47:15] So we have a tweet I want to bring up.
[00:47:19] Okay.
[00:47:20] Rachel ends up asking or saying, been waiting months to ask you for the odds on this draw,
[00:47:29] Christian Hubecki.
[00:47:31] Okay.
[00:47:32] All right.
[00:47:33] Well, that also just made me think about something else too.
[00:47:35] What?
[00:47:36] What did it make you think of?
[00:47:38] Do we think Tiana should have played her shot in the dark?
[00:47:41] I don't think she knew it was that dire.
[00:47:44] Really?
[00:47:45] I don't think so.
[00:47:47] I mean, she did look shocked at the end, like with the vote, but I also feel like she
[00:47:52] felt like she had to feel a little bit of like the energy.
[00:47:55] Katara, you would know better than me.
[00:47:57] I don't know about the playing in the new era, but I feel like that in Tiana's mind,
[00:48:01] I feel like, okay, it's a 50-50 shot that Caroline's going to vote with me.
[00:48:07] I feel like she feels like there's a better chance Caroline's voting with her than the
[00:48:11] shot in the dark is going to hit.
[00:48:14] Potentially.
[00:48:15] But if Caroline's with her, then that means Sue would be with her and Gabe would be with
[00:48:20] her.
[00:48:20] So she could play her shot in the dark, lose, and the vote could still go her way.
[00:48:26] Yeah.
[00:48:27] Maybe.
[00:48:27] Okay.
[00:48:28] We'll ask for more.
[00:48:28] So I feel like I would have been like, you know, I'd rather try it than not.
[00:48:32] But yeah, anyway, go ahead.
[00:48:33] Okay.
[00:48:33] All right.
[00:48:34] So Christian Hubicki crunched the numbers for us.
[00:48:37] Okay.
[00:48:37] All right.
[00:48:39] He said, all right, in one million simulations of this tribe swap, this was the eighth most
[00:48:48] likely way it could have gone down.
[00:48:52] He says that there was a 0.9% chance that it worked out this way.
[00:48:57] See, Rachel?
[00:48:59] It's quite a rare event.
[00:49:00] Out of one million simulated tribe splits, one Gata and five Tukus was the second least
[00:49:06] likely configuration.
[00:49:08] Only eclipsed by one of the three Lavos being stranded with five Tukus.
[00:49:14] Okay.
[00:49:14] Wow.
[00:49:15] So, I mean, the fact that she managed to get out of this, right?
[00:49:19] It's crazy because the fact that it even happened is so unlikely.
[00:49:22] But also, how likely is it to then that would happen?
[00:49:26] And then randomly that there would be this safety without power advantage from the other
[00:49:32] side.
[00:49:33] Yeah.
[00:49:33] I feel like she just got incredibly lucky.
[00:49:35] So, I think that there's some synergy here in that she was lucky that the safety without
[00:49:42] power was available to her.
[00:49:45] But I feel like it wasn't necessarily just luck.
[00:49:47] I think that they know, okay, we're going to send one tribe to tribal council and then
[00:49:51] the other tribe.
[00:49:52] It was similar in Survivor 44 of, okay, one person from the reward team can send something
[00:49:58] to save a person.
[00:49:59] Yeah.
[00:50:00] And we had that with Franny and Matt.
[00:50:02] And Franny wanted Heidi to use it on Matt.
[00:50:05] The same Matt.
[00:50:06] Yeah.
[00:50:07] I remember that.
[00:50:07] Okay.
[00:50:08] Christian says, however, here's another fun wrinkle.
[00:50:11] In 68% of the outcomes, someone will be stuck on the losing tribe without any allies from
[00:50:15] their original tribe.
[00:50:16] So, the twist is likely to produce a situation where someone might appear to need saving, adding
[00:50:21] stakes to the reward challenge.
[00:50:23] Oh, okay.
[00:50:24] I also thought it was a great moment, Saul, looking for the reward challenge.
[00:50:29] It was like, it's one of those things where it's great that you're just like yelling at
[00:50:34] the TV when the thing is right there.
[00:50:38] When Andy's looking?
[00:50:39] And everyone's like, it's right there, Saul!
[00:50:42] Look at the thing!
[00:50:44] I actually love that Saul found it right after Andy was looking because Andy, as usual,
[00:50:50] I like where his mind is going.
[00:50:54] It's just the execution.
[00:50:55] Like, I was like, oh, I wouldn't even think.
[00:50:58] Have they been putting advantages on reward challenges?
[00:51:03] Not recently.
[00:51:03] I can't think of one that it recently happened on.
[00:51:07] Maybe it did pop up in the new era somewhere.
[00:51:10] But, you know, they had just played the amulets.
[00:51:13] And so, Andy was looking for it.
[00:51:15] What did you think about Saul's very, he was very careful.
[00:51:21] He got the advantage and then put it really where the sun don't shine, Katora.
[00:51:30] He really did.
[00:51:31] My first thought was those boxer briefs better be tight enough to where when he stands up,
[00:51:38] that doesn't roll out.
[00:51:40] That was my first thought.
[00:51:41] Yeah.
[00:51:41] And then I'm assuming, you know, he knows the girth to strength of his boxer briefs and all of that.
[00:51:47] Yes.
[00:51:48] Yeah.
[00:51:48] Well, yeah, you can't be relying on the elastic at that point.
[00:51:51] Exactly.
[00:51:53] There's got to be some clenching going on.
[00:51:55] There's got to be some clenching.
[00:51:56] There's got to be some tight fabric overall.
[00:51:58] But then I'm like, every idol, every advantage, I mean, aren't they all basically crotch?
[00:52:06] Which, like...
[00:52:07] Well, typically, you know, we've often seen...
[00:52:09] Where am I hiding my advantages, except my genitals?
[00:52:12] We've often seen players put the idol to the front.
[00:52:17] We have seldom seen a player go to the back pocket for...
[00:52:22] But you can't, I mean, if you're in Saul's situation, he's sitting.
[00:52:26] That's right.
[00:52:26] What is he going to, like, reach in the front of the front?
[00:52:28] No more dump out your bags.
[00:52:30] We need a cavity search also.
[00:52:32] I know.
[00:52:33] Isn't that crazy?
[00:52:33] Like, there's really no way to ever know.
[00:52:36] Like, besides your genitals, where else could you put it?
[00:52:40] I guess your hair, maybe?
[00:52:41] Now, luckily, I don't think this...
[00:52:42] I don't think that Jeff or Rachel had to handle this specific advantage that Saul had.
[00:52:47] I feel like that she probably got a different paper, didn't have to get handed into Jeff, so...
[00:52:53] Oh, you really think so?
[00:52:54] Yeah, because she was on another beach.
[00:52:56] I feel like that they probably...
[00:52:57] Like, you think that they have time to get from, like, what Saul has on his beach to, like,
[00:53:02] run it over on the boat?
[00:53:04] I actually thought that they would have, yeah.
[00:53:06] But I guess not.
[00:53:08] I mean, because they got to go back over there anyway.
[00:53:09] And she said she got it 20 minutes before tribal, which is really what made me feel like...
[00:53:13] You know, and it just goes to show you, Rachel, when you think the odds are against you and
[00:53:20] the alliance is so tight, there's always a crack to exploit.
[00:53:24] There's always a crack.
[00:53:25] Or maybe a secret advantage that's coming to save you.
[00:53:29] Because this really wasn't her...
[00:53:31] Oh, I guess the crack is Saul's crack?
[00:53:34] Is that where you were going with that, Rob?
[00:53:37] Gross.
[00:53:39] Because I'm like, otherwise, she didn't really exploit a crack.
[00:53:42] She just kind of agreed with people's plans.
[00:53:45] Because you found...
[00:53:47] But luckily Saul's crack.
[00:53:50] Is that where we're...
[00:53:51] I don't know, Rob.
[00:53:52] Okay, I'm done with this subject.
[00:53:55] Do you want a question from the audience?
[00:53:58] Okay.
[00:54:00] Sophie wants to know, what do we think flipped Kyle?
[00:54:02] I actually thought that Kyle is probably not going to get a ton of credit tonight.
[00:54:06] And I think he should get some.
[00:54:07] Because I feel like that he had the emotional bond with Tiana.
[00:54:13] I think more so than Gabe and Sue and Caroline.
[00:54:16] And he went with his head and not with his heart.
[00:54:18] And I think that's not necessarily who he is as a person.
[00:54:21] And so I was proud of Kyle tonight.
[00:54:24] Yeah, I agree with that too.
[00:54:25] But I don't know that it was necessarily him going...
[00:54:29] I mean, I guess.
[00:54:31] It felt like Tiana was just written on the walls.
[00:54:37] And it didn't matter how deeply you felt towards her.
[00:54:41] It would just be a really bad move to write anybody else's name.
[00:54:47] Like, what is he going to do?
[00:54:48] Write Gabe?
[00:54:49] When he knows that Caroline...
[00:54:51] And it ultimately came up to Caroline.
[00:54:53] And Sue is going to go with Caroline.
[00:54:56] And Caroline's going with Gabe.
[00:54:57] It's like, what would you have done otherwise?
[00:54:58] I mean, him writing Gabe's name would just be like...
[00:55:01] Really extremely bad move for his end.
[00:55:04] So I don't...
[00:55:05] I mean, for sure, give Kyle credit.
[00:55:07] It would have been a horrible move.
[00:55:08] Yeah.
[00:55:08] Yeah.
[00:55:08] But it's like, the alternative is survivor suicide?
[00:55:13] Like...
[00:55:14] Yeah.
[00:55:14] Yeah.
[00:55:15] Okay.
[00:55:16] Then Nick has a question about Kyle.
[00:55:18] Does Kyle winning two immunity challenges put a big target on him?
[00:55:21] Or does the fact that they were really only against half the tribe make it seem not as bad?
[00:55:26] No, I think it seems bad.
[00:55:29] And he's only beating a couple of people.
[00:55:33] He didn't even last the longest in this challenge, but he still gets to get all of the credit.
[00:55:38] The credit.
[00:55:39] Challenge beast.
[00:55:40] Yep.
[00:55:40] Yep.
[00:55:41] He came in third.
[00:55:42] I think it's terrible.
[00:55:43] I think Kyle doesn't look as challenge beast-y as he actually is.
[00:55:50] No tea, no shade, not negative to Kyle.
[00:55:52] But if you see Kyle, you're not thinking, whoa, challenge beast.
[00:55:56] And the fact that he has done that, and it's always going to be a target on you for the first one, the very first one.
[00:56:03] But then you do it in a row.
[00:56:05] Anything in the row regarding immunity and challenges, it's already a flag for you.
[00:56:10] And so I feel like he put unnecessary attention on himself because people might not have looked at him initially just by physical appearance as being a challenge beast.
[00:56:19] And now they have stats.
[00:56:20] Do you think he could have got votes if he wasn't immune?
[00:56:22] Do you think that that could have been like, let's say like Gabe won the immunity challenge.
[00:56:26] Do you think that Kyle could have been in trouble?
[00:56:27] Yep.
[00:56:28] I think he could have been an option.
[00:56:29] Yeah.
[00:56:30] I think his name would have definitely been floating around because he doesn't have as much social capital as Gabe.
[00:56:34] And Rome really threw him under the bus last week with everybody.
[00:56:36] Rome threw him under the bus.
[00:56:37] Who has that vendetta against him from before when he wrote down Sue's name?
[00:56:43] Caroline might be more willing to go.
[00:56:45] I think if Kyle was free, we might not have had a 100% clear Tiana vote the way we had tonight.
[00:56:53] So, I mean, his immunity did save him.
[00:56:55] And maybe that's why he's doing it.
[00:56:57] Maybe he knows.
[00:56:58] Okay.
[00:56:58] This is an interesting question from Kira.
[00:57:01] Was it the best move for Saul not to tell anyone he found the advantage?
[00:57:05] Hmm.
[00:57:06] I was thinking about that too.
[00:57:08] Yeah.
[00:57:09] Okay.
[00:57:09] So this is a tough spot.
[00:57:10] That's a great question.
[00:57:11] Tough question.
[00:57:12] Yeah.
[00:57:12] Yeah.
[00:57:12] Saul doesn't have a ton of like natural allies at this point in the game.
[00:57:18] And, you know, we saw last season, you know, Heidi got the advantage.
[00:57:23] I'm sorry, in season 44 when they did a similar one tribe was voting and the other tribe was safe.
[00:57:29] And she was like kind of put in this position where it was a public.
[00:57:33] They had to go out and find keys.
[00:57:35] So everybody knew she had the advantage.
[00:57:38] Saul was able to hide it, but there's going to be a lot of questions about like, oh, who did that?
[00:57:43] Who saved Rachel?
[00:57:44] I kind of was feeling like I wanted Saul not to tell them initially, but once he read it and realized this isn't an advantage for me.
[00:57:54] This is an advantage for someone else that I wanted him to tell, especially because the odds were so stacked against Rachel that minutes prior people were saying, oh, my God, poor Rachel.
[00:58:07] How could this happen?
[00:58:08] I hope she's going to be okay.
[00:58:09] You know, you got God members over there with you who are pro Rachel, who you want to work with that could have like pulled them a little bit more and been like, hey, guys, I'm thinking we use this on Rachel.
[00:58:20] And then you can rally everybody else because you get the rest of the tribe saying, look, at the very least, we forced to go to vote against each other.
[00:58:28] And we make sure that we start breaking that up, which is what we'd already planned to do.
[00:58:33] And they're like, yeah, sounds good.
[00:58:34] I just can't imagine that it would go poorly.
[00:58:37] Yeah, you make a very good point.
[00:58:39] I think that that would have been a big hit on the beach.
[00:58:42] Yeah, I'll just say so devil's advocate for solve not telling.
[00:58:47] Could he frame a Sam or a Sierra after this of like, well, who do you think would have wanted to save Rachel?
[00:58:55] It must have been Gada.
[00:58:57] We got we got to break them up.
[00:58:59] Oh, Lord.
[00:59:02] Have you been doing you have you been using Gada in this way?
[00:59:05] A little bit.
[00:59:06] A little bit.
[00:59:07] Jeff even said in the first episode, he was like, and then Gada's got to get ready for tribal council tonight.
[00:59:14] Oh, my goodness.
[00:59:16] No, I agree.
[00:59:17] I think if he does that, that is going to be the only best case scenario.
[00:59:22] And just also playing a little devil's advocate for for Wausau not saying it.
[00:59:27] There is also the possibility that people could say, well, now, look, he saved Rachel.
[00:59:32] He's got this ally for life.
[00:59:34] She's never going to not protect them.
[00:59:36] Now he has all the Gada behind him also protecting him.
[00:59:39] Right.
[00:59:40] That could potentially have been a target for him later.
[00:59:43] But I do think the bigger benefit would have been to pull them in.
[00:59:47] And the only way that benefit is not squandered is if he uses it to target Sam or Sierra.
[00:59:54] But then also, does that really help solve because they were all willing to work together?
[01:00:00] I don't know what helps all.
[01:00:01] I think that's all just like did whatever was going to be the most fun for the viewer.
[01:00:07] I really think that this like like maybe this helps solve.
[01:00:09] Maybe it hurts him.
[01:00:10] I really I don't see that Saul's position was improved in any way, shape or form.
[01:00:15] Yeah.
[01:00:16] I by doing it this way.
[01:00:19] Yeah.
[01:00:19] Damn.
[01:00:19] That kind of sucks.
[01:00:21] Mm hmm.
[01:00:22] Yeah.
[01:00:22] Yeah.
[01:00:22] But look, it was fun for us.
[01:00:25] So, you know.
[01:00:26] Yeah.
[01:00:26] We had a great time watching it.
[01:00:28] And honestly, thank goodness because we saved Rachel.
[01:00:30] Yeah, we saved Rachel.
[01:00:31] I mean, it's not that we had to see Tiana go.
[01:00:33] I hate that.
[01:00:34] But I'm glad that we saved Rachel.
[01:00:37] Yeah.
[01:00:39] Bummer for Tiana.
[01:00:40] But Rachel lives to fight another day.
[01:00:42] And we'll see when.
[01:00:42] Saul, this wasn't a bad night for Saul overall.
[01:00:44] Because I feel like that there's some options for Saul that I didn't see coming into this week.
[01:00:49] Who is Saul's number one?
[01:00:50] Well, I kind of thought it was Genevieve.
[01:00:52] But maybe it's also like Saul, Genevieve, Andy.
[01:00:55] Could that be a thing?
[01:00:57] Potentially.
[01:00:58] I know that it seems like Saul and Andy have some connection.
[01:01:02] And I guess now Genevieve and Andy.
[01:01:04] I do worry about Genevieve feeling like Rachel did about Andy and not holding him tight.
[01:01:11] Yeah.
[01:01:12] Or they're going.
[01:01:14] I was going to say, or they're wanting to be.
[01:01:16] And then Genevieve is just so big of a target that she gets out first.
[01:01:21] And then Andy's alone again.
[01:01:23] Yeah.
[01:01:23] Or yeah.
[01:01:24] Without her, I should say.
[01:01:25] I don't think Andy will ever be alone.
[01:01:28] Something else about this season, Katura.
[01:01:31] And I don't know if you've looked at these numbers.
[01:01:33] So we're on the same sort of trajectory as your season was.
[01:01:38] And I'm not sure at what day we were on.
[01:01:41] But we end up only doing a single tribal council and not a double tribal council.
[01:01:47] Mm-hmm.
[01:01:47] So we still have one more person than we did at this point in your season.
[01:01:52] Oh, do we?
[01:01:53] Okay.
[01:01:54] Yeah.
[01:01:54] Oh, that's true.
[01:01:55] Not a double vote out, you mean.
[01:01:57] Right.
[01:01:57] Yeah.
[01:01:58] Got you.
[01:01:58] Got you.
[01:01:59] Damn, that's true.
[01:02:01] So I guess we're okay in case there's a medical evacuation later on in the season.
[01:02:05] But I feel like that we, and people have noticed that the finale projected date is a week later than it typically would have been.
[01:02:15] So maybe we're getting some bonus survivor maybe.
[01:02:17] I was thinking that would be just because everything with the election that maybe they'd push it back a week.
[01:02:23] I think we're on track for next Wednesday night.
[01:02:25] Really?
[01:02:26] No changes?
[01:02:27] I don't think so.
[01:02:28] Wow.
[01:02:29] Okay.
[01:02:29] I guess we'll have a new president and we'll be thinking about survivors.
[01:02:32] Either that or we'll be sitting Wednesdays.
[01:02:35] Yeah, we don't know anything.
[01:02:36] So here's a show that has a vote that's going to end.
[01:02:41] Oh, Lord.
[01:02:42] Rob.
[01:02:44] Here's a show where they say, let's go tally the vote.
[01:02:46] And then five seconds later, they tell you what the vote is.
[01:02:51] And we don't contest it.
[01:02:52] Nobody contests it.
[01:02:54] You know, people are sad, but then they just, then they leave.
[01:02:57] Yeah.
[01:02:58] Oh my goodness.
[01:02:59] I don't even want to think about what's happening next week.
[01:03:01] Yeah.
[01:03:02] Lord.
[01:03:02] Okay.
[01:03:03] But yeah.
[01:03:04] All right.
[01:03:05] Yeah.
[01:03:05] I wonder why.
[01:03:06] Cause you know what?
[01:03:06] Yeah, you're right.
[01:03:07] Otherwise they would have had this separate group vote somebody out as well.
[01:03:12] Yeah.
[01:03:12] Yeah.
[01:03:12] Yeah.
[01:03:12] I'm not complaining.
[01:03:14] Okay.
[01:03:15] Nick says, what's the best way for the remaining Tuku players to play when they get back to camp?
[01:03:19] Say it was always going to be Gabe and Tiana getting votes on that, or it was going to be a five to one Rachel vote.
[01:03:26] Hmm.
[01:03:28] Cause you gotta go see Rachel.
[01:03:29] They're like, Rachel, you know, we weren't going to vote you out.
[01:03:32] Right?
[01:03:32] Yeah.
[01:03:33] Yeah.
[01:03:33] You know, we were going, like all those plans we told you, we were going with them.
[01:03:37] Yeah.
[01:03:37] I think they have to say what we're going to do.
[01:03:39] Caroline, Gabe said that we're going to rocks, uh, against, to vote you out today.
[01:03:43] Yeah.
[01:03:44] I feel like they would have to, they would have to say it was always going to be Tiana.
[01:03:48] Like throw it on the person who's gone because they're gone.
[01:03:52] Yeah.
[01:03:52] That's the safest thing to do.
[01:03:54] I mean, what are they going to say?
[01:03:55] We were planning to be Tuku strong and Rachel was an easy choice.
[01:04:00] And had she not gotten that safety without power, she would have been out of here.
[01:04:03] Like that doesn't help anybody in any way because all the other players are still there and Rachel is still there.
[01:04:09] Okay.
[01:04:10] One more question.
[01:04:12] Okay.
[01:04:12] Logan Arnold kicks says whose chances skyrocketed after this episode and whose chances plummeted.
[01:04:19] Okay.
[01:04:20] So I don't know if we have to be that dramatic, but who's up?
[01:04:22] Who's down?
[01:04:24] Okay.
[01:04:25] Let's think about this, Rob.
[01:04:26] Who are you thinking?
[01:04:27] Caroline is up.
[01:04:29] Cool.
[01:04:29] Caroline's a thousand percent up.
[01:04:31] For sure.
[01:04:32] Skyrocket for Caroline.
[01:04:34] Yeah.
[01:04:34] Stock skyrocketed out of control.
[01:04:37] Okay.
[01:04:37] I think Genevieve is still up as usual, but it even just went a little higher as usual.
[01:04:43] But I think she's blown upward trajectory.
[01:04:45] And I didn't see a path for her coming into this episode.
[01:04:47] So I definitely think that Genevieve is up.
[01:04:51] Yeah.
[01:04:52] I think Rachel's up too.
[01:04:53] Rachel's up.
[01:04:54] Yes.
[01:04:54] Yeah.
[01:04:55] Rachel's really up.
[01:04:56] She's a player.
[01:04:57] Gabe dropped.
[01:04:58] Gabe dropped.
[01:04:59] Gabe dropped for me.
[01:05:00] Yeah.
[01:05:01] I think Gabe is still pretty good.
[01:05:02] I'm just worried that I feel like, okay, I agree with you.
[01:05:05] I think that Sam is going like pretty soon.
[01:05:08] But then I kind of feel like that after Sam goes, I feel like they think I say, okay,
[01:05:12] now Gabe, you can go.
[01:05:16] I think that the only reason Gabe doesn't go like in the next one or two would be people
[01:05:23] looking at Kyle because of the immunities.
[01:05:27] Yes.
[01:05:28] But beyond that, I feel like it would be Gabe.
[01:05:32] People are going to want a tuku.
[01:05:34] Yeah.
[01:05:34] Period.
[01:05:35] Let me ask you, I can't believe I, bad job by me not getting to this, but that there was
[01:05:41] talk of the women's alliance.
[01:05:43] Now there was a little bit of, you know, some discussion in Survivor 45, like for five
[01:05:48] seconds that there would be, maybe we should do a women's alliance.
[01:05:53] Maybe, and it was like around this point in the game.
[01:05:56] Do you see a women's alliance coming together?
[01:06:01] No.
[01:06:03] Women's alliances don't really work in Survivor.
[01:06:06] Okay.
[01:06:06] Let me think about this cast specifically.
[01:06:08] So we got Genevieve.
[01:06:09] We got Rachel.
[01:06:10] We got Sierra.
[01:06:11] I do think that we could see a group of these women working together because they're all
[01:06:16] very smart and they're all very strategic and it's, it's helpful for them.
[01:06:20] That's the, that's the point.
[01:06:21] It's never about like, are you a woman and I'm a woman?
[01:06:24] Yay.
[01:06:25] It's like, is your goals going to be helpful for my goals?
[01:06:29] And it's great for the women who are on the bottom of the, of the social, like the, wherever
[01:06:36] the power is.
[01:06:37] If you're on the house, it's like, Hey, you know, we should do women's alliance.
[01:06:40] Yeah, exactly.
[01:06:41] Okay.
[01:06:42] That's good.
[01:06:43] But for the women that are in better positions, like it doesn't always make sense.
[01:06:47] And those are the ones who deviate and then it doesn't happen.
[01:06:50] That's the thing.
[01:06:51] I can't see Caroline and Sue wanting to do the women's alliance.
[01:06:58] Yeah.
[01:06:58] Cause I was going to say, I think the, the Rachel Genevieve, uh, who's it there?
[01:07:06] A Sierra block could work.
[01:07:08] I think that works.
[01:07:09] And Teenie wants to do it too.
[01:07:11] And Teenie.
[01:07:11] Yeah.
[01:07:12] I think that all works, but the other two, yeah.
[01:07:15] And, and, um, Carol, no, not Caroline.
[01:07:19] Tiana was big on the women's alliance.
[01:07:21] Tiana was big on the women's alliance, but she was also on the bottom.
[01:07:24] But she, but she didn't know that she was on the bottom.
[01:07:26] And she needed to be insulated.
[01:07:27] I feel like Tiana knows if I'm looking at all the women and I'm Tiana, I'm, I'm trying
[01:07:32] to find as much insulation as possible.
[01:07:34] Yeah.
[01:07:35] Purely even just initially on optics.
[01:07:37] But I feel like, uh, I think you're right.
[01:07:40] Caroline and Sue have really no reason to join that.
[01:07:46] Like.
[01:07:46] And Sierra won't want to do it until Sam's gone.
[01:07:50] Oh, and then Sierra also.
[01:07:52] Yeah.
[01:07:52] Uh, no, I think Sierra would be down to work with the women, but she wouldn't work with
[01:07:57] them exclusively.
[01:07:58] Yeah.
[01:07:59] Yeah.
[01:08:00] We'll see.
[01:08:01] Katara.
[01:08:02] You.
[01:08:02] I don't think women's alliances ever work.
[01:08:04] Well, Teenie said that they only worked in survivor, uh, Micronesia, but we forgot
[01:08:10] about, you know, Kim Spradlin and survivor one world.
[01:08:14] That's true.
[01:08:16] So, but man, I guess, was that really a women's alliance or was that just Kim just leading?
[01:08:20] I mean, it was the women's tribe.
[01:08:24] Yeah.
[01:08:25] I feel like that was more about Kim leading her tribe who happened to be women rather than
[01:08:32] women's alliance.
[01:08:34] Fair enough.
[01:08:34] Um, but I could be wrong.
[01:08:36] Yeah.
[01:08:37] All right.
[01:08:38] Katara, I think you did such a great job here tonight.
[01:08:40] Oh, really?
[01:08:41] Rob?
[01:08:41] Yes.
[01:08:42] Seriously.
[01:08:43] This is my first R-Half one.
[01:08:44] Yes.
[01:08:45] No, uh, you were on point.
[01:08:47] This was, uh, a perfect job by you.
[01:08:50] And this is not easy to come in and do.
[01:08:52] And we do this live.
[01:08:53] I don't know if you're being patronizing or not, but I'm going to just take it.
[01:08:56] No.
[01:08:57] Uh, no, I think you did a really great job with this.
[01:09:00] Uh, yeah.
[01:09:00] I'm very impressed.
[01:09:01] Well, you're easy to talk to.
[01:09:03] And honestly, we have a really good season.
[01:09:05] Like I'm really liking 47.
[01:09:08] I, I feel like the characters are standing out in a way that I've been wanting.
[01:09:13] Like we have a lot of spicy stuff happening.
[01:09:16] Obviously I'm going to always have a special place in my heart because it's my sister season.
[01:09:20] Um, but yeah, I just feel like we've had some interesting episodes back to back to back.
[01:09:25] And tonight didn't disappoint.
[01:09:26] Yeah.
[01:09:27] It's been very steady this season.
[01:09:30] Like I feel like that like this, the last season, not your sister season, but the 46.
[01:09:34] Yeah.
[01:09:36] Uh, 46 had like low lows and high highs.
[01:09:39] Like it was, it was a roller coaster.
[01:09:41] Yeah.
[01:09:42] There were moments in 46.
[01:09:45] Yeah, exactly.
[01:09:46] Exactly.
[01:09:46] I remember moments in 46 where I was like, they did not need to make this two hour.
[01:09:52] And then there were moments in 46 where I was like, I'm glued to the TV.
[01:09:56] Right.
[01:09:57] And 47 has just been, I'm consistently enjoying it the whole way.
[01:10:00] So yeah, I really like it.
[01:10:02] I think they're doing an amazing job.
[01:10:03] And I'm excited to keep talking about it.
[01:10:06] Okay.
[01:10:07] All right.
[01:10:07] Um, Brianna in the chat says the Keturah press tour has been giving me life.
[01:10:11] Brianna, I've been trying to be active on this season because I couldn't, you know, 46 is just so fast.
[01:10:19] It's right immediately after ours.
[01:10:21] And I was just like, let me find a little corner, heal.
[01:10:25] And now I'm back.
[01:10:27] Okay.
[01:10:27] All right.
[01:10:28] Well, we are going to be back in the Lone Star State.
[01:10:32] It's official.
[01:10:33] R-H-A-P is coming to Houston, Texas on December 4th.
[01:10:39] And tickets are now on sale.
[01:10:44] And RobinsWebsite.com slash Houston.
[01:10:47] If you want to be there with us, uh, patrons, they got the first shot at the tickets.
[01:10:53] They got the discount code, but for everybody else.
[01:10:56] Now it's your turn.
[01:10:57] RobinsWebsite.com slash Houston.
[01:11:01] We had a great time in New York, right?
[01:11:03] Keturah.
[01:11:04] Oh, we had a fantastic time in New York.
[01:11:06] I was very fun on the live show too.
[01:11:09] Oh, really?
[01:11:10] Well, maybe that's, maybe that's telling you something, Rob.
[01:11:12] Yeah.
[01:11:13] Maybe I'm just fun.
[01:11:14] Yeah.
[01:11:14] No, you were really great on the live show.
[01:11:16] No, we had a great time.
[01:11:18] I loved it.
[01:11:18] Although I will say I'm excited to do more panels with you now that aren't lawyer based.
[01:11:23] Okay.
[01:11:24] Yeah.
[01:11:25] You know, it's hard to figure out like the breakdowns of all the different panels in the live show.
[01:11:29] Like it's something, you know, you get like 26 survivors.
[01:11:32] Put them in boxes.
[01:11:34] Oh, I know.
[01:11:35] Oh, I know.
[01:11:35] I know exactly how it feels.
[01:11:37] No, but it's going to be great.
[01:11:38] I feel like our app is always amazing.
[01:11:39] I'm glad you guys are doing Houston, Land of Beyonce and honorable mention to Asia, of course.
[01:11:45] Yes.
[01:11:46] We'll see if her cousin might be there.
[01:11:48] Okay.
[01:11:49] Uh, then also, um, I saw in the chat, uh, Reagan wants to know, are there any, uh, tickets left for UNC on Saturday?
[01:11:58] Uh, that is a sold out show.
[01:12:00] I'm going to be at UNC Chapel Hill for a special survivor screening coming up on Saturday night.
[01:12:08] I'm going to be hosting a panel there with some big surprise guests, uh, going to be at UNC Chapel Hill Saturday night.
[01:12:17] So I'm looking forward to meeting some of the North Carolina survivor fans that have tickets for that one.
[01:12:23] But as of right now, uh, that is a sold out show on the UNC campus.
[01:12:28] Okay.
[01:12:29] Damn.
[01:12:29] Congratulations.
[01:12:30] Rob.
[01:12:31] Killing it.
[01:12:32] Well, it's going to be a very, that it's honestly that this, a lot of the students, uh, you know, these college campuses, they love survivor.
[01:12:39] Uh, it was a free show, uh, that they're doing with CBS.
[01:12:43] And so it's going to be a very fun night and hopefully, uh, we have some clips from, uh, social for that.
[01:12:48] All right.
[01:12:49] Oh, good.
[01:12:49] If you want to read, I mentioned my article that I wrote about Genevieve to win.
[01:12:53] Genevieve needs to get dirty.
[01:12:55] You could read that also for free.
[01:12:57] This is a perfect picture.
[01:12:57] This is a perfect picture.
[01:12:59] I love this.
[01:13:00] Go to reality TV newsletters.com for a, uh, weekly article written by reality stars about the shows that they were on.
[01:13:11] Uncensored.
[01:13:12] We'd let them write whatever they want.
[01:13:13] Oh, I love that.
[01:13:15] Okay.
[01:13:15] Maybe they need to have me on there.
[01:13:17] You tell us when you're ready to write something.
[01:13:19] We'll hold you to it.
[01:13:20] That's binding.
[01:13:21] Okay.
[01:13:22] All right.
[01:13:22] Uh, okay.
[01:13:24] You said it.
[01:13:25] You said it.
[01:13:25] That's binding.
[01:13:27] All right.
[01:13:27] Uh, and then I mentioned it's Halloween coming up tomorrow.
[01:13:30] We did a very spooky, scary Brant Steel on, on, uh, Monday night, but it was a lot of fun to watch.
[01:13:40] Uh, spooky, scary.
[01:13:43] Spooky, scary.
[01:13:45] Right.
[01:13:46] Katara, do you know about the Brant Steels?
[01:13:48] No, I don't.
[01:13:49] Fake Survivor.
[01:13:50] It was a fake Big Brother season, actually.
[01:13:53] Oh.
[01:13:54] I've been getting in trouble a lot lately for not having a lot of Big Brother knowledge.
[01:13:59] Why?
[01:14:00] Who's, who's, who's, uh, shaming you?
[01:14:03] Big Brother people.
[01:14:04] Yeah.
[01:14:05] And I'm like, hey guys, I gotta be true to who I am.
[01:14:08] I'm always happy.
[01:14:10] Big Brother fans or literal Big Brother contestants?
[01:14:12] Contestants.
[01:14:12] Contestants.
[01:14:13] Yeah.
[01:14:13] I know, I know.
[01:14:14] I, it's just so much to watch.
[01:14:16] Do they know everything about Survivor?
[01:14:18] Exactly.
[01:14:19] Exactly.
[01:14:19] And that's always my retort.
[01:14:21] Yeah.
[01:14:21] There it is.
[01:14:22] There it is.
[01:14:22] Okay.
[01:14:22] Yeah.
[01:14:23] Well, listen, Katara, you know, Big Brother's fine, but it's not Survivor.
[01:14:30] Survivor is home.
[01:14:31] It's going to always be home.
[01:14:32] Um, like Rob, if we are crazy enough to literally go on Survivor, you know that like your level
[01:14:40] of love for the show is at an all time high.
[01:14:42] Well, do you know my backstory that I actually applied to be on Big Brother?
[01:14:47] Oh, really?
[01:14:48] Yes.
[01:14:49] And then, then what happened?
[01:14:50] I went through the casting for Big Brother and I went all the way to the finals of Big Brother
[01:14:54] and they didn't take me.
[01:14:56] And then, uh, like six months later they called me and they said, Hey, do you want to be on Survivor?
[01:15:01] Wow.
[01:15:02] So you never applied to Survivor?
[01:15:04] I never applied to be on Survivor.
[01:15:05] What?
[01:15:06] And now look at you.
[01:15:07] Wow.
[01:15:08] I loved, I love Survivor and I love Big Brother, but I thought I would die if I was on Survivor.
[01:15:13] Yeah.
[01:15:13] I said, I live in a house and not go outside.
[01:15:15] Okay.
[01:15:15] That's fine.
[01:15:16] I could do that.
[01:15:17] And see, I feel just the opposite.
[01:15:19] I'm like, be stuck in a house with all these people for all these days.
[01:15:23] And like one thing I can't get on board with Big Brother, I'm sure they wash the sheets,
[01:15:28] but it just feels like multiple bodies are in my bed.
[01:15:33] I think that they have, you have your one bed.
[01:15:35] I don't think that they sweat, they do a lot of bed swapping.
[01:15:51] See?
[01:15:52] And I was just worried about bodies.
[01:15:54] And now look, cutting toenails and everything.
[01:15:56] I feel like being trapped in a house is 10 times worse when you're in that competitive state.
[01:16:01] Because at least while I'm playing Survivor, I'm like, let me go walk down this path.
[01:16:07] You know what I mean?
[01:16:07] Let me go touch this tree if I'm stressed out.
[01:16:09] So yeah, so I like the nature aspect of it more.
[01:16:13] But damn, that's cool, Rob.
[01:16:15] Congratulations.
[01:16:15] Must be nice to not have had to apply to Survivor and be on Survivor.
[01:16:20] Look, it has not happened to many people, but that's how I got here.
[01:16:24] Fancy, fancy.
[01:16:26] Congratulations.
[01:16:26] Okay.
[01:16:26] All right.
[01:16:27] Well, let me just tell everybody in the chat, I love you guys.
[01:16:29] I see a lot of support and I really appreciate it.
[01:16:32] I'm excited to be here.
[01:16:34] This was awesome, Rob.
[01:16:35] Thanks so much for having me.
[01:16:37] Yes.
[01:16:37] And yeah.
[01:16:38] This is great.
[01:16:38] I hear a whole lot.
[01:16:40] Well, that's the closest, but I didn't want us to end without people knowing that I see
[01:16:44] y'all and I hear you and I appreciate you.
[01:16:46] You know, that's the nice thing about being not on the show currently.
[01:16:51] It's all love when you're not one of the people that's currently on Survivor.
[01:16:58] So why weren't you telling me that during my season, Rob?
[01:17:02] So I had something to look forward to.
[01:17:04] I guess I should share that advice.
[01:17:06] Yeah.
[01:17:06] People should share that more.
[01:17:08] Yeah.
[01:17:09] It's hard being a person who's on the show, but it's actually very fun to be an alumni
[01:17:14] of the show.
[01:17:15] Yeah.
[01:17:15] I think so, too.
[01:17:16] I think so, too.
[01:17:17] And I think people don't-
[01:17:19] It's like a fraternity or sorority.
[01:17:21] It's like when you're going through it and you're trying to get in.
[01:17:24] Yeah.
[01:17:24] Like, yeah, it's a little rough.
[01:17:26] You're getting the knocked up.
[01:17:28] You're taking the hits here and there.
[01:17:30] Yeah.
[01:17:31] And then once it's over, it's like, oh, okay, this is pretty nice.
[01:17:33] Mm-hmm.
[01:17:34] Yeah.
[01:17:35] Yeah.
[01:17:36] Okay.
[01:17:36] Do you watch The Summit, Katara?
[01:17:38] I do.
[01:17:39] Oh.
[01:17:40] I really like The Summit.
[01:17:41] Yeah.
[01:17:41] I'm a strong Summit advocate.
[01:17:43] Okay.
[01:17:43] Check out We Know The Summit.
[01:17:45] Chappelle and Taryn are breaking down The Summit.
[01:17:48] Episode 5 aired tonight.
[01:17:50] So check out their recap of The Summit.
[01:17:53] And then on Dancing with the Stars, okay, that they did Halloween night.
[01:17:59] America Lopez joined Matt and Sasha to talk about everything on Dancing with the Stars.
[01:18:06] And then Friday, I'll be back taking patron questions for episode several of Survivor 47.
[01:18:14] Okay.
[01:18:15] That's right.
[01:18:16] We're on episode several.
[01:18:18] There we go.
[01:18:18] Oh, what a perfect.
[01:18:20] See, this was in the cards, Rob.
[01:18:21] I'm glad.
[01:18:22] This was literally perfect timing.
[01:18:24] Yes.
[01:18:25] Why?
[01:18:26] Because it's episode several.
[01:18:28] Yes.
[01:18:29] Because it's literally the episode that coincides with big changes in my season at this exact same time.
[01:18:35] This is really where your game started to take off.
[01:18:37] You were free.
[01:18:38] I was going to say, this is literally the moment, how I described it to people, I would say,
[01:18:43] this is the moment I felt like I got out.
[01:18:46] I looked at myself in the fetal position, stood up and said no more and changed the entire trajectory.
[01:18:52] Could Rachel potentially be that person in this season?
[01:18:55] Oh, Rachel's not in the fetal position.
[01:18:57] I don't think, I'm not saying she's in the fetal position, but could she be the person that really,
[01:19:00] she was on the bottom at Gata.
[01:19:02] She was blindsided on the last Annika vote.
[01:19:05] Do you think that she could take some of these bonds she made here over at Tuku and end up sort of like you and hitching her wagon to Tuku?
[01:19:15] Yeah, I think Rachel is so good at being able to connect with other people and pull them in.
[01:19:21] That even when she was blindsided by the Annika vote, I didn't feel like she was at the bottom.
[01:19:27] I felt like she was just left out of that vote because she was connected to Annika and Sierra was going over doing Sam's bidding.
[01:19:35] But I was like, immediately after this, Sierra is probably what we're not seeing going to Rachel.
[01:19:41] I'm so sorry, please.
[01:19:43] Trying to pull her back in.
[01:19:44] Sam doesn't dislike Rachel.
[01:19:46] He's just, they just needed to get rid of Annika.
[01:19:48] And then Rachel has this like ability strategically pull these people in and have a strategic mind.
[01:19:53] I think she's going to be fantastic.
[01:19:55] I think what we're about to see is this hybrid thing happen.
[01:19:58] And I dare I say, I think Andy is going to be at the center because all this foreshadowing about Andy leaving Gata, right?
[01:20:05] He's going to pull in other people.
[01:20:08] He's the main character.
[01:20:08] Yeah, I think we're going to have like this hybrid, all three tribe kind of alliance thing.
[01:20:14] And all the big guys are going to go and then we're going to be left with these people.
[01:20:18] And I think Rachel is the perfect person to be in the center of that and not be the G.
[01:20:23] Rachel and Andy get along.
[01:20:25] Oh, yeah, for sure.
[01:20:27] They're fine.
[01:20:28] I think Rachel is strategic enough to know how to how to pull in Andy, make him feel comfortable.
[01:20:35] I mean, she did it before.
[01:20:37] Like, I think she can do it again.
[01:20:39] I don't think Andy is really difficult to get along with either.
[01:20:42] Like, I feel like that's pretty, pretty simple.
[01:20:45] And if you're smart, you would pull in Andy.
[01:20:48] I would pull in an Andy.
[01:20:50] Yeah.
[01:20:51] Why not?
[01:20:52] Just got to maybe watch him a little bit.
[01:20:54] You know what I mean?
[01:20:55] You got to watch him a little bit.
[01:20:56] Like, he's not going to be the spokesperson for the alliance.
[01:20:59] But Andy gives loyalty and kindness and compassion.
[01:21:04] And like, I feel like if you were like, here's what we got to do.
[01:21:08] It's got to be done this way.
[01:21:09] And here's like, Andy would be like, OK, I got you.
[01:21:12] You know?
[01:21:12] Yeah.
[01:21:13] All right.
[01:21:14] Katara.
[01:21:14] And then a late breaking James Jones says, oh, someone didn't tell me they were going on.
[01:21:20] And literally, I was going to say, as we were just saying that I'm on my Mac and my text message from James pops up like, oh, so you're on Raw right now?
[01:21:28] And I'm like, James, I promise.
[01:21:31] Yeah.
[01:21:31] I would have told you.
[01:21:32] I just saw him on Monday night.
[01:21:34] Oh, really?
[01:21:35] What was on Monday?
[01:21:35] In Philly.
[01:21:36] Oh, for the, for the Kaya.
[01:21:38] For the screening.
[01:21:39] Yeah.
[01:21:40] I love that.
[01:21:41] Now, see, we got good people in the chat.
[01:21:42] Also, shout out to the people who were like, yeah, Katara had it rough during her season.
[01:21:49] I think what it was, it's just Reddit.
[01:21:51] It's just Reddit.
[01:21:52] That's what it is.
[01:21:53] Yeah.
[01:21:54] Once you get past Reddit, Twitter is actually great.
[01:21:57] I feel like Twitter is.
[01:21:58] It depends on the day.
[01:22:00] Yeah, that's true.
[01:22:02] That is true.
[01:22:03] Because oddly enough, I was like, in this moment, I was like, yeah, I changed paths.
[01:22:08] I created a path for myself.
[01:22:09] I got up on the floor.
[01:22:10] And this is when everybody was like, you got Caleb out.
[01:22:15] We ate you.
[01:22:15] And I was like, oh, right.
[01:22:16] Y'all don't like that.
[01:22:17] Okay.
[01:22:18] Got it.
[01:22:18] Got it.
[01:22:18] Got it.
[01:22:19] Yeah.
[01:22:20] All right.
[01:22:20] Well, it was wonderful to have you here, Katara.
[01:22:24] Come back anytime.
