Rob Cesternino (@RobCesternino) interviews the latest castaway voted off the Survivor 48 island, followed by This Week In Survivor History with Jordan Kalish (@JordanKalish) where Rob plays against an RHAP patron.[00:00:00] Hey, Rob Cesternino here. And in addition to tracking everything that's going on on these reality TV shows, I love tracking things about my personal fitness. That's why I love the newest smartwatch from Amazfit. It's got all the features I need to keep my day on track, but without the sky-high price tag you usually see with other smartwatches. Let me tell you about the Amazfit Active 2 smartwatch. The display is gorgeous. It's a 1.32-inch ammo LED, and I don't really know
[00:00:29] what that means, but basically it means that you can read your notifications even when you're outside in the middle of the day. It's got incredible battery life. No more scrambling for the charger. Half the time you have a smartwatch, the battery is on like 3%. You got to take it off. I'm missing all of the steps that I'm taking. What's the point? It's also got a great app called the Zapp app, which gives you in-depth health insights, everything from sleep quality to steps and AI-driven coaching
[00:00:58] to help you get the most out of your workouts with 160 plus workout modes for whatever you're doing. You want to try it out? Head on over to Amazfit.com slash Rob. That's A-M-A-Z-F-I-T.com slash Rob for a special discount. [00:01:21] Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Sestradino back with our Survivor exit interview. And it was an amazing episode of Survivor last night and we lost somebody who I thought was destined to go far in this game. It's Thomas and we'll talk with him here on our exit interview. Of course, you could watch this exit interview if you'd like. You can go to watchrhap.com for that,
[00:01:48] where you will also be able to see last night's Survivor Know-It-All where I talked with Stephen Fishback about everything from this vote and all the work that Kyle and Camilla did to make this all happen. A very exciting Tribal Council. Today, we will also have Jordan Kalish back with us for this week in Survivor History. You'll hear that right after this. And later today, Kelly Nalbandian will be my guest to recap it all. But first, we have Thomas on the line. Let's go ahead and patch him in.
[00:02:15] Hey, Thomas. What's going on? Rob Sestradino. And I still can't believe it. I'm not supposed to be talking to you yet. Correct. Yeah. This is not supposed to be me, but here we are. Here we are. Yeah. I really, I couldn't believe how it went down when you got on that new tribe with the three California girls. Now add Kyle, add Camilla. Like, was there a thought of like, okay, well,
[00:02:39] this is the group. We're never going to Tribal. Okay. That is, I mean, yes. I mean, I, at first, when I saw my boys with me, I was like, like, here we go. Like, this is fantastic. And then Kyle and Camilla, it was like too good to be true. Yeah. Um, and over at Loggie, we had a lot of like challenge energy where it's like, we're going to come in hot. We're going to be positive. We're going to do this
[00:03:03] thing. And it felt a little much coming from Vula where dreams go to die. Um, I think I was the person on the tribe who would like the least, like we got it in the bag. Um, which maybe I just knew, you know, what was going to happen. I know, but yeah, it was, it was a little much, a little much. Okay. Tell me about this plan and Kyle and Camilla, they end up pulling off this, uh, big operation
[00:03:31] on you guys. Were you 100% buying what they were selling or was there any part of you that had some doubt? Okay. So I want to point out and act one of their masterpiece, Tony award-winning play. I'm not present. I'm not in the shelter when they begin this charade with Joe and Shaheen. And that was the shakiest act, like seeing it back. I was with Shaheen last night and I was like,
[00:03:59] that's what you bought to begin with. Like it was good, but like the way you sold it to me was entirely different. Um, so I think that had I been there from the beginning of the play, I would have had more questions. Yeah. Yeah. But I come into it and the boys after getting act one, we're at our first intermission and the boys are like, Kyle and Camilla, like want you dead. Like they're like, they want to rip out your throat. They're like basically telling us you've been
[00:04:24] lying to us this entire time, which like, yes. Okay. But my rebuttal was Mitch is just lying to them. So like it's me versus Mitch and who are you going to side with? So like I was fine, uh, in that moment, but yeah, their, their work was masterful, but I would say act one, I have notes. Okay. All right. So how close did you come to playing your vote steal? We heard you talk about
[00:04:50] it in the episode. Was that a realistic possibility for you? It was a realistic possibility for me, but I feel like I'm a little bit of an old school player. Um, like my Alliance, like Alliance and loyalty is like really important to me. Like I would have taken Bianca to final tribal, if that makes sense. Like I wouldn't have done like the new era kill you at six thing that people do.
[00:05:14] Um, so in my brain, what was more valuable to me in that moment was my Alliance with the boys and them trusting me long-term into the game because Joe is the Titanic. He's hard to turn. Shaheen is a puppy dog. He gets spooked. So if I come to them and I'm like, yeah, Kyle and Camilla are right. They've exposed me. I've been lying to you. Like we probably would have gotten through that moment.
[00:05:37] But after that, after merge, I'm toast to them. And I felt like Kyle having an idol was like one in six, like one of the six Siva. And so I rolled the dice and dice. Yeah. Not good. Not great for the season. So no, I want to know something that I was wondering about from the episode. Did you all get any information about what happened on Camilla's journey?
[00:06:03] Oh, like when we were like on Vula together? Yeah. When you were on the new tribe together. Yeah. Um, Camilla told us that she, she also lied. So like for the record, everyone's saying like, I'm this like terrible liar. I was like, no dog. I was just playing survivor. Um, but Camilla lied and she said she rolled the dice, lost her vote. And she had an option to double down to lose her vote twice for two tribals or get it back for the next tribal. And she doubled down and she had
[00:06:32] just a normal vote. That was her story to me. Yeah. And I was like, bullshit. Like that girl, like I knew from the moment she told me her favorite players were Phillip and Q that we had a problem, which is why when the guys wanted Kyle so badly, I was like, no, no, we have a chaos agent amongst us. Yeah. And had you gotten enough information from Bianca to be able to know that what Camilla said wasn't true, that there was no option to double down? Yeah.
[00:06:59] Yes. And I a hundred percent knew and like, and Bianca, we trust. Like, do you know what I mean? Like, that's my bitch. Like when she told me the entire thing about the dice, I knew Camilla was lying because like Bianca is not going to lie to me. Like I lied to her. She didn't lie to me. That's the dynamic. Um, and so when I tell the boys, this it, I was like trying to get them to go Camilla over Kyle because of all of this. And it just wasn't happening. And yeah.
[00:07:28] Thomas, I had been wondering if you had lost some standing with Joe and Shaheen after Camilla came back and accused you of lying about your thing, or were those two just always tighter and that they were always going to be two thirds of the California girls and you didn't have as much say. Okay. So the California girls, very strong alliance, a beautiful thing. There are elements
[00:07:53] to it though. Right. Shaheen wants Joe to be his number one in the game. Right. Like Shaheen loves that man. I do too. Um, but Shaheen sees Eva and Joe, and that's very clearly his number one. So that's why Shaheen is looking at me being like, okay, like, are we going to do this? But then he sees me in Bianca. Right. So Shaheen's in the middle of this. He wants Joe. I'm his backup
[00:08:17] plan. I'm getting the three of us to stay connected. It's very like, it's fluid. It's very real, but it's fluid if that makes sense. And at the end of the day, uh, like Shaheen, Shaheen and I had conversations of cutting Eva to, so then we would own Joe, like have him firmly with us. Like that's why when he was like, so shocked about the, like, what if it goes missing thing? I'm like, you were talking about
[00:08:41] betraying your number one, like in cutting Eva. So like, don't be shocked. Um, but no, I, I always knew that they wanted to be like this little nucleus with me on the outside, which is like, hello, I have Bianca. I understood that, which is also another reason, like, I wasn't going to rock this California boat. If I didn't have to, if Kyle didn't have an idol, I wasn't going to mess this up. Yeah. Uh, could you, uh, talk a little bit about the decisions that you were talking about with,
[00:09:08] uh, Joe and Shaheen? Like how, how far did it go down the line versus Kyle versus Camilla? Was it, was it ever 50, 50? Like of which way we were going to put our votes? Um, no, it was never 50, 50. Those boys wanted Kyle and Kyle was brilliant because he was like, look at these two straights. Like I'm going to, I'm going to tell them that David is my number one at Siva
[00:09:32] and I'm like this big loyal Siva man. And of course it makes those two like, oh no, must eliminate, must get rid of him. And so I would say it was probably like, it was never 50, 50 between them, even though I, and that was the other thing is that like, I knew there was going to come a time in the game where I needed them to vote the way I wanted them to. And at this point it was like,
[00:09:58] who has an idol Camilla, Kyle, like it was all, there was not, none of the information they were giving us was trustworthy. So it was like, I, we're just going to make a choice here. And I wanted to keep my alliance so tight with those boys so I can move through the rest of the game with them. Yeah. Uh, do you feel like that Shaheen should not be trying to apply for a job
[00:10:21] at the TSA as a bag checker? Uh, yeah, uh, I feel like I have notes. I just have like just some like overarching thoughts of like, maybe not just like feeling around, like maybe like opening, pulling, examining. Um, yeah, it kind of knowing that the idol was in his shoe right there. Um, number one, I'm like, Kyle, what? Like I had my advantage, like basically tucked up. Like it was like hidden,
[00:10:49] bro. Like, why would you leave an idol in your shoe? Like you have a nefarious gay man on your tribe now. Like you can't like roll those dice. Like, come on. But yeah, I know Shaheen, like I have bag checking notes. So did going to this new tribe, going to Vula, did that have any impact on you all in the challenge? A hundred percent. Um, that shelter is bullshit. Like those like so many notes.
[00:11:16] I have thoughts. Okay. Like that shelter was like not a shelter. It was like a piece of bamboo leaning up a tree with a dead palm frond on top of it. Like it was very clear that those people were like fighting for their lives and had no time to like make a place of existence. Like I, that was the worst night out there bar none. It was so cold. It was terrible. There was nowhere to sleep. They built it in the middle of a wind tunnel. Yeah. It was horrible. No fire. I was used to my
[00:11:43] fire. I was used to like going to bed and like my firefighter, Joe would get the fire ready. We'd warrant, we'd our rocks around the fire. So they warm up and then we take them and then we sleep with the warm rocks. Like we had a vibe at Loggie. Yeah. Like, well, Thomas, tell me about old Loggie because it was a lot of tension built up about what was going to happen. It looked like it was 100% going to be star. And then Eva ends up having, uh, this moment where then she, uh, comes to you
[00:12:12] and Bianca and says, uh, or I'm sorry, she told star about how to get rid of you and Bianca potentially, but she was just trying to throw star off. What would have happened? Well, if it's on like day seven, right before the swap, what would have happened? Um, great. Isn't it interesting how like we weren't even like close to going to tribal and we had all of this
[00:12:34] just like bubbling. Um, so basically in that moment, Bianca doesn't have a vote. So she's the number one thing that I would care about getting through tribal with. Right. So Bianca doesn't have a vote and I know star doesn't have a vote and I know how to open the beware advantage at this moment in time. And I'm just not telling star you did. So I have read it out. Yeah. Well, I knew a bunch of different words that could open it. Like, do you know what I mean? Like I,
[00:12:59] I was like, if I know every, like I can, I can open this thing. Um, and so it was going to be a game time decision of star was saying, like, if you open this, I'm going to give you my idol, uh, because I don't, I don't want the heat. Right. And like, and then we can all vote Eva out. And I was like, okay, sorry. Open it. You give me your idol and we vote Eva out. Okay. That could work. Um, but in, but then Bianca doesn't have a vote after we come up with that plan. So I'm like,
[00:13:27] no, this isn't happening. I'm going to keep your beware advantage locked. We're going to go to tribal. Bianca is going to be safe because Eva was 100% voting for star, which means Joe is voting for star, which means me and Shaheen with votes and we're not going to deadlock it. So goodbye star back to the, to the moon, to like the clouds. Like, I love you. I, but I wanted to work with her, but like the second Bianca lost her vote, it kind of limited my options. And thank you for taking us through all that. That's very interesting. So going back to the new
[00:13:57] tribe on Vula, was there any hunting for the Vula idol? None, no hunting for the idol, which is actually very interesting. You bring that up, but I also think that you're dealing. Um, I, I mean, I wasn't going to, because I like the second I stepped on that beach, Kyle and Camille were like at my throat. Like I could not breathe. Like they, if I was gone for any second, it was like, just, you know, he's lying to you. He's
[00:14:23] lying to you. Mitch said this, Mitch said that, blah, blah, blah. And so there was no way I was going to hunt unless I was hunting with the two of them. Um, cause I would come back and Joe and Shaheen would be like, they really don't like you. Like they're like really want us to turn on you. And I was like, are we, are we going to turn? Like what's the vibe? Um, so no, there was no hunting. And then Kyle and Camille had an idol. So they're like chilling. Yeah. Thomas, you had such a great outlook on the experience and, uh, such a great moment when
[00:14:52] you ended up leaving. But when you look back, do you feel like that there was something like, what's your takeaway about what could have gone different? Do you feel like it's don't go on the journey, be more upfront with what you have after the journey? Mm-hmm. Well, so I mean, the journey, like I told myself, I was never going to go on a journey. Just how I told myself I was never going to tell anyone about my advantage. Um, whoops. Uh,
[00:15:16] the journey happened and it was at a moment in the tribe where star was in this idol, like tornado. Um, Joe and Eva were so tight and Shaheen was so threatened by that. Bianca felt like she was on the outside of the, of the California girls because Bianca was like, it's the California girls and Eva and not the California girls and Bianca. So everyone was stressed out. And the only
[00:15:42] person everybody was talking to was me. Yeah. So when it comes journey time, the night before the journey, literally everyone goes, okay, so if there is a journey tomorrow, like who do we all, who do we think should go? And everyone said like, on the count of three, say the name. And the entire tribe goes, Thomas. So it was one of those moments where it was like, do I take this risk and go on the journey because I'm in a good spot in the tribe and it's not going
[00:16:09] to hurt me on loggy. Like if I come back, I'm pretty sure no vote, an advantage, whatever. I can figure it out based on my position in loggy. Or do I put up a stink? And everyone's like, why aren't you just doing what we need you to do, bro? So in the moment, the journey made sense to me after the swap, it don't make sense. Do you know what I mean? Like it becomes an easy thing for Kyle
[00:16:33] and Camilla to, um, go for me on, but only because star betrayed me on that floating bench on the water challenge and spilled, spilled everything that I said, which she came back from that, uh, from that challenge. She was like, guys, like, I didn't tell Camilla anything. I didn't even talk to her. I didn't look at her like, and really it's Eva's fault because she's the one that said, Hey, you know what? Star, you sit out of this challenge.
[00:17:01] Well, okay. Okay. In, in Eva's defense, I will defend Eva star was very upfront with the fact that she's not a super strong swimmer. Like she was like, I learned to swim for the show. I've been practicing. I'm great at it. And so in Eva's brain, she literally was just like, if it's a water challenge, maybe like we, we bench the person who's like vocalized and that's not their strength. I know I've had to defend Eva. Okay. Well, Thomas, I really, I could listen to you talk about this stuff all day. You are such a
[00:17:29] great storyteller and you made such a big impact on the show in your time. I do hope that you get a second chance one day. It's very kind of you, Rob. Yeah. And we'd love a second chance to talk to you more about survivor. Anytime you want to talk survivor, I could talk about it for hours. All right. Well, Thomas, thank you so much. Anything you want to tell people to check out? Uh, no season 48 of survivor, which I'm pretty sure they're all you're going to do. All right. Don't stop watching just because Thomas is gone. You heard it from him. Okay.
[00:17:59] Yeah. All right. Thomas, thank you so much. Okay. Okay. Thank you, Rob. All right. Everybody. There you go. There's Thomas. Uh, yeah. Tom's very fun job on the exit interview. Some good behind the scenes, uh, nuggets from Thomas. And yeah, it all comes down to that. He got sold under the bus. I guess I guess he it's, uh, sold down the river when star
[00:18:24] was on the sit out bench about gave up the goods about what he said to Camilla who then had, uh, the info to then come back. And then really, I mean, it could have been any of the three guys, but you know, this was, uh, just an opportunity to go after him in particular. I mean, I guess that Camilla and Kyle could have targeted any of the three, but I don't know. I guess that that was just the beginning of the
[00:18:50] downfall of Thomas that they knew that he had lied about what happened on the journey and he had an advantage in his pocket. So there you go. Uh, there's Thomas. We still have much more to do today. Jordan Kalish is going to be right around the corner to play this week in survivor history. When we come back right after this. All right. Yeah. Let's play some twish. Everybody. We've got a
[00:19:17] great friend of the podcast. Uh, a legend of survivor trivia is back once again. It's Jordan Kalish. Jordan, how are you? Uh, doing, doing great. Loving the season. Survivor 48 has been survivor 40. Great. And we're just chugging along here on Twitch. Yes. And we may have had a tribe swap on survivor, but Jordan Kalish is still doing the same thing. He's still bringing us survivor
[00:19:43] trivia year after year after year. And today to play me as I look to go for four and Oh, on the season, a guy who helped us out so much in a survivor, Stan Wandel, sir, in the fall, it's Josh green. Josh, how are you doing? I'm doing great, Rob. Thanks for having me here. I'm really looking forward to this. Excited to get the chance to play some twish with you today. Josh, uh, tell the
[00:20:09] listeners a little bit about yourself. Yes. So I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but I hail from the East coast originally outside of Philly. Yeah. Uh, huge survivor fan for all Josh greens are from Philly, right? Yes. Apparently that is where, that is where we all are. There's a secret club and special meeting location and everything that is, yeah, that's the spot. Uh, yeah, no, but it's been fun. Uh, I've been into survivor since I was like, you know, 12, 13 years old and it's been so fun in the new era. So many more people have gotten into it and like, what was your first? So many friends in my
[00:20:38] life, uh, kind of end of Guatemala beginning of Panama. It was like when I got in. Yeah. Yes. Okay. Have you seen the beginning of Guatemala? I mean, I've seen it all. I've seen everything now, but, uh, I got in, became a fan kind of end of Guatemala, but yes, I've seen, I have gone back and watch episode four. I have seen episode four of Guatemala and other times. Jordan's favorite. Yeah. Yes. Yes. All right. Well, Josh looking forward to playing some Twitch. Of course,
[00:21:05] Jordan always gives us six seasons or six categories to choose from. Sometimes there's a mystery box. So Jordan, what do you have in store today? All right. I have a, going to survivor Guatemala. We have survivor China. We have heroes versus villains with a twist heroes, heroes, villains with the twist as part of the category 44, 45 and the mystery box. Wait, hold on. That was only five, right? Guatemala. Oh, China. Okay. Heroes, villains with a
[00:21:34] twist. 44, 45 mystery box. Uh, I wouldn't put it past me to only write five questions accidentally, but I did not do that. I did not do that this week. Okay. Oh man. Heroes versus villains with a twist. That one makes me nervous since Rob just talked about that one, but, uh, I think I'll go, I'll go with Guatemala. Okay. So we're going to Guatemala. It's good that you said you did watch a episode four, because that is the episode that we are going to be talking about after the tribe swap. The new Nukum tribe consisted of four original
[00:22:02] Nukums and four original Yashas who from original Nukum voted with the former Yashas to eliminate Brooke struck. Uh, that would be Judd. Judd Sargent for two points. Josh, he was the one that flipped. Uh, you start out with a perfect score on that question. Good job. Uh, I got very quickly. I did not know that I would have at least needed the multiple choice. He and, uh, he and stuff at the, uh, you know, Jersey East coast bond and she flipped him over. It was great. And, uh, Cindy
[00:22:32] Holland and, and, and Margaret who, who would have been multiple choice, incorrect, multiple choice answers, uh, did a vote with Brooke there. And, uh, they felt a little bit burned by Judd after this, of course, which leads to some fireworks between, uh, John and Margaret. Okay. Yes. Uh, okay. Rob, you can, uh, you have the next category. I'm going to go with, uh, season 45. All right. Season 45. Okay. Even though Sean Edwards expressed his desire
[00:22:57] to go home at the first tribal council after the 45 swap, a vote was still held and his wishes were granted. However, D had other ideas and voted for the person who she wanted to send out of the game. Who did she vote for at this tribal? She voted for the great Sifu. Sifu. S I F you, not, not, not S-T-F-U. That is correct. Rob, you, uh, you tie it up. It's a, it's interesting because like the shot, the Sean, yeah, it's, it's a, it's a quit, but they
[00:23:25] technically, uh, by, by the letter of the law was voted out of the game. So it is two to two. Uh, Josh, where are you taking us next? Uh, I'm feeling 44. Let's do 44. All right. The other new era season is going to be now off the board during the survivor 44 quasi tribe swap. Josh Wilder was switched to the Tika tribe where he played his idol, negating the two votes against him and sending Sarah Wade home two to zero. Who were the other two players switched at this swap?
[00:23:54] Uh, yeah. So that would be Carson, uh, and Jamie Lynn Ruiz, Carson and Jamie were the other two players switched. So we are, we're still perfect. Josh, you have four points. Uh, Rob is at two, but Rob has the, the next question. Uh, so we got the, we got the two, uh, all, all the tribe swaps and, uh, in, um, uh, of the new era in episode four, including this, uh, this season. So Rob, question. All right. I'm, I think I'm going to go, uh, heroes versus villains with the twist.
[00:24:24] Heroes versus I'm terrified of a Jordan Kalish twist. We'll see. We'll see what happens. So I will, I will say that approximately 15 years ago, Sari was voted out of heroes versus villains on a vote split in which JT flipped and Tom played his idol. This was one of four examples in which Sari has been voted out with very few votes cast against her in the four tribals in which Sari has been eliminated from the game. How many combined total votes have been cast against her? So not votes that she's received at other tribals, which has happened, not that often, but it has
[00:24:53] happened. It is only the four votes that she has been eliminated at. How many total votes did she receive in those four tribal councils? Okay. Um, now in survivor Panama, um, she goes into a fire making child. Are we counting the votes that send into her into a fire making challenge that send
[00:25:17] her to a try, a fire making challenge would count in this total. Okay. So here's my math on this for our season 20 with a twist in Panama. We get two votes at the final four for the fire making in survivor Micronesia. I believe we have our one vote from Amanda to send her home in survivor heroes
[00:25:43] versus villains. It's a three, two vote. Tom plays the idol. And so we'll say three votes there and there ended up being zero votes against her. So it is maybe some survivor poetry that the votes that take her out of survivor are a three, two, one. I'm going to say the answer is six. Rob, you worked that out perfectly. The answer is six. I love, I, I, I did pick up on that too,
[00:26:11] that Sari is known for her famous three to two to one move, uh, in exile Island against Courtney. So that is absolutely correct. Uh, the zero vote. And here's why is Sari is such a great player because in the votes that sent her home, the only one where she received the majority of the votes was in a vote where there was one cast against her by Amanda, which is pretty incredible. Uh, all the others were, were pluralities or zero and game changers, which was insane. Uh, so, uh, great job, Rob. Great job, Sari. Uh, Josh, you're going to have to do a great job here because we are
[00:26:40] still perfect. It is four to four. Uh, this is your, your last category that you get to juice. So we got China or the mystery box. Is that right? Yes. I think I got to go to the mystery box. All right. Mystery box. Which season was the first in survivor history and was Jeff gave contestants the option to mutiny to the other tribe? The option. Okay. Um, I don't know if this happened in episode
[00:27:06] four or not, but the, on the first time it was aired, that's for sure would be just double checking here. That did not happen in any of the seasons prior to this. Yeah. That would be survivor Thailand. So survivor Thailand's also, I believe the only season with a pre-merge auction before the auction, Jeff did give the contestants the option to mutiny. None of them took the option, but that is correct.
[00:27:35] So Josh, you have two points there. You have a six to four lead. Rob has to get the next question right without the multiple choice in order to get to potentially be in play for the, uh, the four and Oh start to the season. Uh, Rob, we are going to survivor China in a moment reminiscent of Dan Lou and Matthew vonert Felda speaking Mandarin to each other in the Amazon who was able to speak
[00:27:58] Mandarin to the Chinese fishermen who visited the Fei Long tribe. Um, well, I need to, I need to, I need to do it without a multiple choice. You can't get the multiple choice. Who spoke Mandarin Chinese? I'm going to say that it's, it's PG PG is incorrect. Is it Denise? It's not Denise knew martial arts, but Josh.
[00:28:27] Was it, you know, can I guess? Yeah. Was it genre bear? It was genre bear. Jean robert. It grew up in a, spent four years, I believe in Taiwan, the mystery box question. I did not know this one. So unfortunately for you, Rob, sorry for you, but Josh wins seven to four. Josh, you said you, this was 20 years in the making. Congratulations. Thank you. Dream has been real. My dream of a perfect twist season dies today. Yes. 13 year old me was dying to take on Rob
[00:28:55] Cessarino in trivia one day. Now here we are. You know, it really just comes down to, you know, you get the right categories or not. And then I got, I did not want to get left with China and here I was. So Rob, there is, there is a saving grace here. There is some solace for you. Even though you lost Twitch, I'm still going to allow you to participate. Look that fair is fair. I lost that. I shouldn't get the verbal rebus. Well, Josh is the winner. I believe would like to participate.
[00:29:25] I should just drop off. It's a quick, I mean, you can, it's a, it would then, it would then be a Josh and Jordan have a podcast at that point. Okay. I'll stay in chaperone. All right. So the verbal rebus, this is a very quick verbal rebus because I am at work and I wanted to make sure that this didn't go over the, the, to my next class. So the only player to win a season in which they were voted out when the season in which they were voted out, plus the first player to be voted out after winning a previous season,
[00:29:57] plus the first player to lose survivor after allegedly smuggling beef jerky into the game. So those are your three, there's three pluses. So, uh, okay. Who is the player to win a season in which they were voted out of Chris? Yeah. Uh, the first player to be voted out after winning a previous season, Tina, Tina, Rob, Robin, and it was on all stars with Tina there. Plus the first player to lose survivor after allegedly smuggling beef jerky.
[00:30:23] Kel. Who do we got? Christina Kel. Christina Kel voted out. I always thought she would have a good returnee. She kind of gave Boston the what for on redemption Island, but ultimately she was lost to survivor history. I totally agree. I mean, I mean, the time may have, there may have been too much time passed since redemption Island to bring Christina Kel back is now there's so many other people, but I, I wouldn't just go back. I feel like they could have brought her back too, but I wouldn't argue with the decision if they ever brought Christina Kel back. I can't see it happening, but I think it'd be fun.
[00:30:53] Really? Who? Uh, at this point. But okay. All right. So Josh, you won, you get to promote something. What do you got? Yeah. So, I mean, you can follow me on Instagram at Josh green, four to nine, where I don't post much survivor stuff. What's four 29 your birthday, my birthday. Yeah. Uh, there's a lot of Josh's and greens out there. So you gotta differentiate, differentiate yourself. Yeah. But I'm on blue sky at Jay green MKE. And that's where I post a lot of survivor stuff. Um,
[00:31:23] I also do some podcasting myself with a survivor now podcast. We did a series over, uh, the off season where we ranked every season. So we talked about some of these old seasons. So where was Amazon in your rankings? Um, I think it was right around, I think it was right outside the top 10. Hey, okay. I mean, I, there was only three of us. And so each person sway, you know, a little more, I put Amazon pretty high. I think Amazon is still, but somebody had it low. Somebody was bringing it down.
[00:31:52] I don't think anyone was pushing it down to being a buzzkill. Yeah. I mean, well, listen, when Stephanie and her pre-show stuff this year was like, Oh, I heard Amazon's not good. It's like, where do you hear that from? Yeah. I remember back in the day that was like Amazon and Pearl islands were like universally the best two seasons. Amazon's top, top tier. Top tier. It's so good. So good. Anyway. Yeah. So check that out. Survivor now podcast coming back. Yeah. You got Matt, you got Butch. Yeah. Heidi. They put it now in the show of the season. They did. Yeah.
[00:32:20] They did. Yeah. So yeah, no, it's great. All right. Well, Josh, uh, congratulations. Great job by you, Jordan. What else is coming up for you? Uh, nothing much. We got a Twitch again next week. Uh, I have, have been loving, loving the season, uh, loving all the coverage so far on our HAP. So keep listening to everything. And, uh, Josh, congratulations. I will say you, uh, the, I don't, I know a Josh green who is not from Philly, who is not a RHP person. So they're not all from Philly, but lots of Josh,
[00:32:48] lots of Josh greens. This is a sleep, sleep away camp, Josh green, where if you went to a sleep away camp, you probably knew a Josh green. So, uh, yeah, there's a lot of us out there. All right. Well, thank you all so much for listening to a Twitch. We've got a great podcast coming up. Kelly now bandy and we'll be with me later on Thursday to recap everything from episode four of survivor 48. Thank you so much for joining us. Take care of a good one. Bye.
