Exit Interview: Fifth Player Voted Out Survivor 48

Rob Cesternino (@RobCesternino) interviews the latest castaway voted off the Survivor 48 island, followed by This Week In Survivor History with Jordan Kalish (@JordanKalish) where Rob plays against an RHAP patron.

[00:00:00] Hey, Rob Cesternino here. And in addition to tracking everything that's going on on these reality TV shows, I love tracking things about my personal fitness. That's why I love the newest smartwatch from Amazfit. It's got all the features I need to keep my day on track, but without the sky-high price tag you usually see with other smartwatches. Let me tell you about the Amazfit Active 2 smartwatch. The display is gorgeous. It's a 1.32-inch ammo LED.

[00:00:29] And I don't really know what that means, but basically it means that you can read your notifications even when you're outside in the middle of the day. It's got incredible battery life. No more scrambling for the charger. Half the time you have a smartwatch, the battery is on like 3%. You got to take it off. I'm missing all of the steps that I'm taking. What's the point? It's also got a great app called the Zapp app, which gives you in-depth health insights, everything from sleep quality to steps and AI-driven coaching to help you get the most important things.

[00:00:59] Most out of your workouts with 160 plus workout modes for whatever you're doing. You want to try it out? Head on over to Amazfit.com slash Rob. That's A-M-A-Z-F-I-T dot com slash Rob for a special discount. Seriously, if you're looking for a smartwatch that checks all of the boxes, fitness, style, battery life without burning a hole in your wallet, give Amazfit a shot.

[00:01:22] Hey everybody, what's going on? Rob Sesternino back for our Survivor exit interview after a very exciting episode 5 of Survivor 48. How about that pre-merge? But we've got a lot to talk about with today's guest. Bianca Roses is going to join us to break down everything that happened from that tribal council where she had no vote and she told Cedric about it and then it did not go great.

[00:01:48] So we will talk with Bianca about all that. What did go great was last night's Survivor Know-It-Alls. Stephen Fishback was on spring break this week, but we had a great fill-in. Omer Zaheer joined us and we talked about everything from that episode. Omer had some really great takes, some great insight about that. I'm really proud of that episode last night, so hope you get the chance to check out that one.

[00:02:11] And then today we have a very fun recap, a two-header, I don't know, is that a thing? A double guest recap as Gabe and Caroline from Survivor 47 are going to join me to talk about everything. We did this last season with Hunter and Tiffany both on the podcast with me. I think that's a great way to get some new blood into the podcast and then they can bounce off of each other.

[00:02:36] I think it's going to be a fun one. Check that out later on this evening on Thursday, all right here on RHAP. And of course, you can watch it on our YouTube channel when you go to getrhap.com plus Jordan Kalish coming up with This Week in Survivor History right after this. But I see that we have Bianca on the line. Let's go ahead and patch her in. Hey, Bianca, what's going on? Hi, Rob. Rob Sestranino. Yes, Bianca, I was really, I felt it for you last night when you went out of tribal council.

[00:03:04] And I really don't feel that a lot of times when a person goes home from tribal council. But I just, I really got, you know, I know you're a lifelong fan. T-Bird showed me your cookie cake from all the way back from when you were just a little girl. And I just want to say I'm really sorry for how it worked out for you last night. You're so sweet. I appreciate that. Yeah, I mean, I'm still devastated right now. And it's tough to watch that back.

[00:03:34] And it was just, I was heartbroken. You know, I had so much game left in me. So it sucks to have something not work out. I was really, I was feeling it. I was ready to say, okay, Bianca, wow, she's doing so great. Give her the fishy tonight. Look at this. And then you had the conversation with Cedric. And it seemed like that you had two scenarios where things were going to probably go your way. So I'm thinking there must have been something that we didn't see that made you feel like, I got to tell Cedric.

[00:04:04] Yeah, there was a lot of conversations that Cedric and I had that just weren't shown. Him and I had had really intense conversations about, you know, life things, personal things. So we were building a relationship that I don't think was shown.

[00:04:25] Also, Cedric and I had a conversation where he verbatim told me that Justin went home because Justin didn't tell him that he had a vote. So I clocked that as well. Um, there was, there was a lot that, that wasn't shown. Also me telling Cedric, like, say is gunning for you. Like I was trying to work with you both and say wants you out.

[00:04:50] So like, it didn't seem, I knew from say and from Cedric that Cedric had voted for say multiple times. So it didn't seem like the craziest thing to get him to write her name down again. And had we gone to deadlock, right? Had we gone to the two, two before getting to rocks, he would have had to flip. So I was like, this guy's going to flip. Like, let me just bring him in early and try to get it done ahead of time.

[00:05:20] And I don't know what he did. What was that decision? Why did he go with the girl that he was trying to get out instead of this girl right here? Like I was ready to work with him. Yanka, you know, so much that there's all these people like from the outside, you see, maybe this is a dysfunctional relationship. Hey, leave this person, but you can't make them do it if they don't want to. No, you can't. And I, I learned that the hard way. Yeah. I was wondering in terms of your thought process, how much of a concern was it? Like, okay.

[00:05:50] Cause I loved your plan about, Hey, Hey, let's split the two and two and I'll be safe on the tie break. But if it goes to a deadlock, you're going to have to be one of the people, picking a rock. How much of your factor or your decision-making was, I don't want to potentially draw the rock. Yeah, no, that was, that was definitely part of it. Like I didn't want to go to rock. So again, like I knew had we gone to the Revo, someone would have had to flip in order to not go to rock.

[00:06:18] So I was just trying to get ahead of that, but I didn't want to go to rocks by any means. So that was a hundred percent of factor. You also said you were very worried about doing the damage control after everybody's going to know that you're a big liar because that you, they would find out that you had lied to them. Could you talk about how you were feeling about that? Yeah, it's, it's a couple of things. I think losing my number one, right? Thomas is gone.

[00:06:48] I was just trying to build a little bit of trust with one person, uh, in order to get to the mergatory and the merge. And in hindsight, hindsight is everything, right? Like, sure. I should have just done the damage control instead, but I also can't really sit here and be like, oh, had I not told him I would have stayed there. Like, we actually don't know. Like Justin didn't tell him and Justin went home.

[00:07:17] So there's just, it's survivor baby. Like there's so many things that can happen. I'm not going to beat myself up over it. Yeah. Okay. So when you got to Ponderosa, did you happen to, did you connect with Justin at all over the fact like, Hey, guess what happened? I told Cedric, I lost my vote. And he's like, that's so funny. Yes. A hundred percent. First of all, Pondy was lit. Like, hello, me, Thomas, Steph, Justin, and Kevin, like.

[00:07:46] Dream blunt rotation. They say. A hundred percent. So it was just like me and Justin had connected on the journey and they didn't show this, but like my fellow by Zahn, right? Like I wanted to work with him so bad. So yeah, we absolutely talked about how it just sit different opposites. And we both got screwed. You said to Cedric, Hey Cedric. And if I see you go talk to say like, listen, listen, I'll know something's up.

[00:08:14] But did you see and follow Cedric? Because he must've gone to go connect with Mitch and Chrissy. So this is the big question mark, Rob, like make it make sense because he didn't like, I watched him like a crazy Italian Catholic mother watches her son first, first night out of the house. Right. Like I was googly eyed, crazy.

[00:08:42] I was like not letting him out of my sight. And there was no conversation that took place. Like I strategically told him before tribal for that reason, right before we went to tribal. That's so interesting because at tribal council, there was a lot of discussion of like, sometimes, Hey, even with a glance, you can communicate information. Somehow is Cedric on that level with Mitch and Chrissy that he can just signal and change the vote. I don't know. I guess so. Like it doesn't make sense to me.

[00:09:11] I think a lot of people are confused from what I was seeing on Twitter. It's definitely confusing. Okay. I also was sitting in the front of tribal, which when you watch, you realize there is kind of a slight disadvantage to that. For sure. And Chrissy also did say something that in the moment I was like, does that mean she's going to switch her vote?

[00:09:36] And I wanted to be like, look at her and be like, Chrissy, like I'm with you. Like, let's do this. But I was so terrified of that freaking say out. And then like tribal completely blowing up. So I didn't say anything. I have a question for you. You may not know the answer to, but I had to interpret from the episode that I feel like that Mitch did know what was going on and maybe might've been concerned that maybe you

[00:10:05] were going to play an idol at tribal council. And that's why he ends up voting for say, do you think, is it possible that Cedric only told Chrissy what was going on and that Mitch didn't know that you didn't have a vote? So Cedric didn't tell anyone. Like I watched him, Rob, there was no, from what was seen and like, from what was like, he didn't have a conversation. I literally watched him like a crazy person.

[00:10:34] So I genuinely, and listen, like it's survivor. I don't have all the answers. Just said survivor, baby. Uh, I really think Mitch, it wasn't a safety vote. It wasn't because he thought I had an idol. Like I really do think he wanted to work with me and I really wanted to work with him. Yeah. I just didn't have a vote. Okay. So can you just then give me your theory of what happened at that tribal council? I think, yeah.

[00:11:02] I mean, I think that I spooked Cedric by telling him I was, I guess, lying to him. And I don't know, like maybe there was a look, maybe I really don't have a theory because it's confusing. Make it make sense. I thought I knew. And now I'm talking to you now. I don't know anything. I know it's, it's a survivor, baby. Okay. Can you talk about your relationship with say, and how close you two became on the beach there?

[00:11:33] Yeah. Say is amazing. I had, I had a vote as much as I love Mitch and Chrissy. I would have worked with say, and Cedric if they were willing to work together. Like I had both of them telling me they didn't want to work together. So again, why I told Cedric, I was like, oh, easy. He'll write her name down. But I would have worked with say, um, and Cedric because I didn't want more Siva to come

[00:12:01] to the merge versus loggy. It was like a Siva the loggy game. What was your reaction to, and what did you think happened when you saw that Thomas was voted out? Oh my God. Still triggering. I don't like talking about Thomas getting voted out. Um, oh, I knew they had an idol. I said it actually. Jeff asked me, he was like, Bianca, what do you make of this? And I was like, oh, Camilla or Kyle a hundred percent have an idol or used an idol.

[00:12:28] Um, I just knew there was no shot that Shaheen and Joe turned on him. And I went back to Siva and looked for that idol for hours. Like I was convinced at one point I was going to find it and be so safe because I knew in my bones that they used something, advantages, idols, whatever. Uh, that's, that was my reaction. And I was obviously devastated. He was gone.

[00:12:54] Can you talk about your reaction to seeing the moment with, uh, Joe and Eva from, you were on the tribe with them. And, uh, that from what we saw that you, uh, it was not revealed to you about Eva's autism, but you must've known clearly that they had a close relationship. And so you probably had to do some explaining to your tribe about those two. Uh, you mean to new Siva? Yeah. To my tribe. Um, interesting.

[00:13:23] I actually like, I can't really remember. I think we were really focused on tribal that it didn't totally come up. Like there wasn't really explaining I had to do for Joe and Eva. I think the whole experience was extremely powerful and emotional. Uh, but immediately I, at least for me, I'm still playing survivor. Like this is a game, right? So I was just also clocking, like they just revealed this to everyone that they had this

[00:13:52] very, very, and have this close bond. What does this mean for me moving forward in the game? I was, I was definitely, um, impacted by learning something about her that I didn't know after living with her for so long and being wildly impressed by her strength. Uh, but then, you know, I'm, we're playing a game. So I was really thinking about it like that too. Yeah. How did you feel knowing that Thomas didn't tell you that he had an advantage after you revealed you had lost your vote? Okay.

[00:14:22] I'm so glad you asked this because let the record show. I knew I had a feeling he had something and I said to him, I was like, Thomas, it's okay. You don't have to tell me like if I came back with an advantage, I wouldn't tell you either. It makes sense, right? Like you come back from a journey and you're screwed. You have to bring someone in, but you come back from a journey and you have an advantage. You don't tell anyone. I don't know what those other tribes were doing.

[00:14:51] Telling, telling each other everything. Like we have this to use, right? Like before you were even going to tribal. So I, I knew that he had something and I'm not mad about it. Okay. And I thought you did the right thing to tell your ally that you needed help, that you had no vote because he was going to bat for you. If Laggie would have gone to a tribal council, how do you think that that would have gone? Yeah. So without my vote, I think it would have been star because I think it would have been like

[00:15:21] kind of the easy vote. Everyone was talking about voting her out and on board with my vote. I would have been going for Eva because I felt like she was the biggest threat to my game. Us both kind of being like the fourth on the outlier of the California girls. Can you tell me about Mitch and Chrissy? Because in the beginning of the game, it seemed like that they were not in any sort of alliance together. They've sort of been forced to work together.

[00:15:50] Did you feel like that they were closer before the swap? Sorry. When you got there, did they seem like that they were a pretty close duo? Yes. They did a fantastic job of making me feel like they were working together on Siva prior to that. I could definitely sense just from like little things the way that Mitch and I really connected

[00:16:15] and the way that they wanted to work with me that I felt something was a little off that they definitely weren't like super, super tight. But they did a good job. Bianca, I want to give you an opportunity to discuss the journeys because I know a lot of fans have felt like, hey, we don't like it that people, they go on the journey and they lose their vote in a game of chance. Yeah. How do you feel about this?

[00:16:44] Is that just that survivor baby or do you have stronger feelings about it? I mean, I'm I don't want to give the like lame like answer of like it's all a game. Like I obviously was super annoyed about it because I did lose my vote. But listen, like I signed up for this game. I know that anything could happen. And I do appreciate that even though it's chance and it's annoying that it's not strategy

[00:17:12] or a game, a puzzle, whatever. Like you're still given an opportunity as a player to try to make something happen and try to actually give you a better question because I know we're short on time. But you got to pick who got to go from your tribe, right? Oh, yeah. Well, it wasn't it looked like I was picking, but we actually as a tribe had discussed that Thomas and I were going to be the journey goers. And that was like decided in advance of the puzzle people. Yeah.

[00:17:42] And also what it was like our tribe also was like we feel like Thomas and Bianca like won't give things away. Like everyone else is loopy, loose lipped Lucy, apparently, except the two of us. We saw Star with Camilla. Oh, my God. I know. I know. Just revealing everything. So that's probably why. Yeah. And giving the idol to Eva. But I wish we had time to get into all of that. But same. That's crazy. I couldn't believe that.

[00:18:10] Bianca, so nice to get the chance to talk to you. Hopefully this is the first of many conversations in our future. Thanks, Rob. So good to talk to you. I appreciate it. So great to talk to you and, you know, hang in there. All right. Thank you. All right. Talk to you soon. All right, everybody. There you go. There's Bianca Roses. And I really did get from her last night just, you know, how tough it was for her. You know, you spend all this time, you know, applying and then you go out there and then it doesn't go your way.

[00:18:40] And yeah, she made a bad decision to tell Cedric. But still, still, that hurts. And the mystery of what happened at that tribal council is now I'm more confused after than before I started talking to her because I just thought, okay, Cedric told Mitch and Chrissy and then Mitch put the vote on say in case she plays, there's an idol. I don't know. That's not what Bianca is saying.

[00:19:06] So a lot to figure out as we unpack this the rest of the week here on RHAP. So looking forward to getting into that. We've got This Week in Survivor History coming up with Jordan Kalish after this short break. We'll be back after this. All right, everybody. We're back for some This Week in Survivor history. And we have, of course, the master of ceremonies back here with us. It's Jordan Kalish.

[00:19:36] Thanks for having me back. Can't wait to do another week of trivia, baby. Yes. Okay. It's time. All right. Hashtag twist time. Hashtag Yankees opening day. Yeah. By the time you're listening to this, it'll be just a couple days away. A couple days away. Okay. All right. And here with us, we have another patron here after I somehow lost last week. But I'm here to get back off the schneid. And we're here with Chris Hickey. Chris, how are you?

[00:20:06] Doing well, Rob. How are you? Yeah. Very excited to have you here for another week of Twitch. Chris, can you tell the listeners a little bit about yourself? Sure. So I live in Delaware. But when we're thinking about sports or baseball, Phillies are close to my heart. Not mine. I have to say it may not be yours for Rob. But we were like, I don't know, two different ships. We were really doing well last year. And by the time we started not doing so well, the Mets did.

[00:20:34] So hopefully at the end of this week, the Phillies can start strong. But we love our sports here in the greater Philly area. Okay. All right. So, Chris, are you ready to take me on in Twitch? Ready as I'll ever be. Okay. All right. So, Jordan, are you ready to give us the categories for this week? Yes, I am. Last week, we didn't go super old era.

[00:21:01] I think the oldest season that we went last week was Survivor Guatemala. But this week, we're kicking it old school to Survivor Borneo. Okay. We have Palau. We have Cook Islands. We have Korong. We have an old era mystery box. And we have a new era mystery box. So, Chris, you get to take us to the first season or mystery box. Oh, man. This is so tough. Talk us through your strategy, Chris.

[00:21:30] I don't want to do that, Rob, because then I'm leading you towards what I'm going to do. And then you have to make sure. That was a big brain move. That's what Rob said to Matthew von Ertfelda on the first day of Survivor the Amazon. Let's go with Survivor Borneo. Okay, Borneo. So, we're going all the way back 25 years ago to Survivor Borneo. Not including Dirk.

[00:21:54] Who was the only player to not vote for Dirk at the tribal in which he was voted out? Would that be Dr. Sean? Dr. Sean. And this is a notable vote because it is the first time in a long string of times that the four-person alliance would vote together. The first alliance in Survivor history, or at least the first alliance that goes long distance into the game. So, that is correct. Chris, you get two points.

[00:22:22] Some people say that the first alliance was Stacey Stillman and Kelly. Some people say that, but I think this is the first successful alliance. Okay. That would have been a tougher question, I think. That would have been almost impossible. Okay. And also arguable. So, I didn't go there. Rob, you get to choose the next category. Boy, the episode fives. Hmm. Would it be crazy to do the new era mystery box? You've done crazier things in your life.

[00:22:52] I guess so. Sure. That's where we're going. New era mystery box. Okay. How many seasons? I love the draw of the seasons this week. Okay. Well, I think we found your, maybe just some of your weak spots here, but let's see where we're going in the new era. How many seasons from 41 through 47, so this is all the new era, not including 48, included a pre-mergatory tribe, which never went to tribal council? Okay. All right. Well, let me talk it through. I don't have to say.

[00:23:22] You don't have to name the tribes. You don't even have to give me the seasons. There's the Danny Deshawn tribe from 41. In 42, I believe they all go to a pre-merg tribal council. In 43, they, let's see, there was the Hyde tribe. Oh, sorry. Sorry. 43. There was the, the Jesse tribe.

[00:23:52] There's the, the James truck. I think they all go also in 44. Um, I think they all go in 45 and then they have a swap there. Um, so in 46, the Nami tribe doesn't go in 47. Uh, I think they all go, uh, and not including survivor.

[00:24:22] 48. 40 does not count. Okay. Next season we will 48. Yeah. So, okay. I think if my math is all mathing, I'm going to say that there were only two tribes that didn't go to tribal council before the merge. Rob, your math is mathing. You did say the tribes. It was the Luvu tribe from 41 and the Nami tribe from 46. So Rob, you get two points just like the, uh, two tribes that didn't go to the tribal.

[00:24:49] I think 45 is the tough one because Reba and Bello do go both post swap. And of course, Lulu went to all of them, uh, pre-swap. So we are tied, uh, two to two. Chris, you get to choose the next category. Uh, let's go with Palau. All right. Going to Palau in the episode in which Karor went to their only tribal council. They're only, I guess, pre absorption tribal council and voted out Willard. Oolong also went and voted out a player.

[00:25:17] However, the outcome of the Oolong tribal may have been different if it were not for a twist in which Karor who won the reward challenge got to vote for one of Oolong's members to be immune. Who from Oolong was voted to be safe by Karor due to their poor performance in the previous reward challenge? Is it Ibrahim? Ibrahim is correct. Chris, you get two points. There was some talk about voting Ibrahim out here. Uh, unfortunately, Angie is the one who gets voted out at this tribal council and I think

[00:25:46] it could have, uh, changed the result. So, uh, Chris, you have four points, Rob, you have two, but you do get the next question. Okay. All right. I'm going to go with, uh, let's try 32. All right. 32 survivor. Korong. During the Korong tribe swap, who was sent to exile Island as part of the random draw and eventually was sent to the new Gondal tribe after they voted out Anikate? I believe it was Julia Sokolowski.

[00:26:16] Julia Sokolowski is correct. Rob two points. A lot of people used to say Julia Sokolowski is a, uh, guarantee for a, for a future season. And maybe that people say, yeah, survivor 50 could happen. We could be seeing Julia Sokolowski on the screens again. Uh, we are tied four to four. Uh, Chris, this is, uh, this is some interesting territory here. There are two categories left. Which one are you going to choose? It's tough.

[00:26:40] Um, I don't know what actually happened in the cook islands this week. So it's like, but the mystery boxes also seem really hard or they're really complex. Um, let's go with cook islands. Cook islands. Okay. The devil, the devil, you don't really know versus the devil. You really, really don't know. Okay. Ozzy ever, the free agent wandered away from his post swap.

[00:27:08] I to beach and found himself on the Raro beach, which two players were with him for this unauthorized journey to the other tribes beach. Uh, Flicka and cowboy. Flicka and cowboy is correct. Chris, two points, not even a hesitation there. Uh, six, six points. Stone cold. Chris knows his, knows his stuff. Uh, and, uh, Rob, you know, your stuff too, but you're going to really have to know this without the multiple choice. I did not know Chris's, uh, I'm sorry. I definitely knew the first question. I did not know Chris's second question.

[00:27:38] The second one was the, uh, which one was that? That was the, Oh, the Ibrahim. Ibrahim. Yeah. Yeah. That, that, that was tough. That was a very tough question. And when I wrote it, I was like, Oh, this is the one that someone might get tripped up on. But Chris, Chris kept his balance. All right. And I'm, it all comes down to me having to untangle the old era mystery box, old era mystery box. But the good news is Rob, you are from the old era. So you might be able to get this one. Let's see. And why I do this podcast is still a mystery. Yes. That is a mystery.

[00:28:07] You are the old era mystery box. Who was the first player in survivor history to be voted out post swap where their original tribe had the majority on the tribe in which they were voted out. So this is someone who came into a swap with numbers and was voted out. Somebody came into a swap and they got voted out by their, they had. Okay. Yes. Now they had the numbers. They're original. Did they have switched tribes?

[00:28:38] They, they, it's, it's a post swap. It doesn't matter if they switch tribes or not. Okay. It's a post swap tribal council. The person who was voted out. And they couldn't have had three, three as they have majority. A tie is not the majority. Okay. All right. All right. So I'm going to say, was it Gabriel Cade is my answer. Gabriel Cade. If you were wrong, we are going to a tie break. Sorry.

[00:29:06] If you're wrong, we're not going to a tiebreaker. If you're wrong, you lose, but you were right. Gabriel Cade. First time in survivor history that somebody went into a swap from a majority position. I thought you were going to say that if I'm wrong, the game is over. If I'm right, the game continues and it's a true lose, lose. It's a, it's a, well, it's a win, win for, for you and Chris, apparently, because we are going to a tiebreaker. I have had this tiebreaker prepped since the first week of the season because we have,

[00:29:34] we have not gone to a, a tiebreaker yet in the season. This is going to be the first time. So put this on your pit. Yeah. Yeah. Cedric, Cedric picks who wins and Cedric and Laurel have like a meeting and they decide who wins. So, okay. Here's, here's the tiebreaker. It is a Twitch list. We are going to go back to a old school Twitch here where we are. We, I'm going to have a list of a cat. There's going to be a category. There's going to be multiple correct answers. You were going to alternate picking.

[00:30:00] If you are wrong, you are out unless the other person is also wrong on the same round. And then we will continue to play. Does that make sense? All right. Here's one more time. I want to make sure I have it. So there's, I'm going to give you a category that has multiple correct answers. You will each, you will alternate giving correct answers if you are wrong or if you will repeat or if you repeat, you are out. However, like let's say Chris gets it wrong and then Rob, you get it wrong on the same round. Then we would just continue. Okay. Does that make sense? Go for it.

[00:30:30] Here's the Twitch list. Yeah. There are, I'm not going to tell you how many you have to name the survivor seasons that have had exactly one person return on a future season. So there are a couple seasons where exactly one person returns on a future season and you have to name them. I could tell you how many there are. There are one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, several.

[00:30:55] There are several of these seasons where exactly one person returns on a future season. If it is zero or if it is more than one, it is incorrect. Chris, you get to give the first answer. Just a quick clarifying question. So if there is an instance where not everybody that's on that season is, if there is a returnee on that season and they come back, they don't count as a returnee from that second season. If that makes sense that they appeared on.

[00:31:24] So I say that again. So like if we started a season with like 20 people and 18 of them are new, two of them are returning from a previous season and then one of those two returning players returns in a future season with that person count as if that was the only one from a season. If they were the only one from that season. Yes, it would count. Okay. All right. Well, that's seven of these in survivor history. All right. Well, I'm going to start with Thailand. Yes.

[00:31:53] Thailand is correct. And it was Sheanne who returned. So Chris, you get one point. You were up seven to six. Rob, you have to get this one. How many are there? There are seven total. What happens if that I get three and Chris gets four? That's the it would be three, three. That would not be allowed. If you if you it's only going to be up to three points and then we will do a second tiebreaker, which I actually have not planned, but I have a question that I could use. So Rob, you get to answer the next one. All right.

[00:32:21] I'm going to say heroes versus healers versus hustlers. That is correct. Ben is the only returner from that season. So you have a point. It is seven to seven. Chris, your turn. Guatemala. Guatemala is incorrect. So Rob, if you get this right, you win. Okay.

[00:32:49] I'm going to say David versus Goliath. David versus Goliath. Nick Wilson is the only returner so far from that season. So Rob, by a score of eight to seven, you win the game. Very tough game. Guatemala was a tricky one, Chris. I was going to I wanted to ask like, does that count? For a long time, Guatemala would have been a correct answer. Let me just give you what? Ghost Island.

[00:33:18] Ghost Island is correct. Wendell the only returner. But season 44. Season 44. Bruce. Yes, that is correct. Bruce would be. Fiji. Fiji. Yeah. You're good at that. Yeah. Did you write this list? I was writing it down. Yeah. Yeah. And then there's one more. One more. Is it. I'm trying to think. Did anybody come back from. And is it Nicaragua? Nicaragua. It is Brenda. The only return. Wow. That's a. You knew that list. That was a good list.

[00:33:48] OK. Yeah. I think Chris you. Rob said that the categories that he got on the quiz were might have been weak points for him. But I think that this list specifically was a strong point for me. Yeah. Returning. I mean, I knew coming into this just listening. I was like, I have to go after the the old school stuff if I wanted a chance to get points and be because it seems like that's his his bread and butter. So. Yeah. You did very, very well. You did. You did a very good job on this quiz for a while.

[00:34:17] I thought maybe maybe you had it and you came very close. Eight to seven. Very close game. But what is not in doubt here is that we are going to now go to the verbal Rebus, a.k.a. Rob's favorite segment on this podcast. OK. So here's the verbal Rebus. I have to go back now to my notes from this week because I went to the tiebreaker. OK. Here we go. The verbal Rebus. Yes. Here it is. Bryce and blank presents. OK.

[00:34:45] Plus the first survivor winner to win a jury vote other than seven to one in the new era. So it's the winner. The first winner to win by a vote total other than seven to one in the new era. Plus the first letter of Survivor. The Amazon's eighth place. Eighth placer. So it's the first letter of the first name. OK.

[00:35:06] Plus the tribe blank spoken minus the first letter of the player who failed to place Survivor season logos in order despite being an LRG host. That is what we have. OK. Bryson who present. Wendell. Well, Bryson. Bryson. Bryson. Bryson. One percent. Yeah. It's when Wendell. But they call it Bryson. One percent.

[00:35:34] The first survivor winner to win a jury vote other than seven to one in the new era. Was it D? It was D. It was D. The first letter of Survivor. The Amazon's eighth placer. Rob knows this person pretty well. Dina. It's Dina. So it's another D. So it's D. The tribe blank spoken. Has spoken. Has. So minus the first letter of the player who failed to place the Survivor season logos in order.

[00:36:04] Hunter. That was Hunter. So who do we have? Is it Wendy Diaz? Wendy Diaz. Congratulations. Big Wendy voted out this week in Survivor history is the answer to the verbal rebus. I think her first appearance on the verbal rebus. Incredible. She may have been a clue at some point. I'm not sure. But there we have it. Last name. She was always big Wendy to me. Yeah. She's always big Wendy to everybody. But Wendy Diaz is her name, her given name. And yeah, that's the correct answer.

[00:36:33] So Chris, very close. Very good job. Came up one point short. And Rob, you are back on the winning train. Okay. All right. Well, Chris, hard fought battle for sure. Definitely. Chris, anything else you want to tell people? I don't know. I mean, I'm just happy to be here and super excited for the opportunity. Wish I would have gotten one more question right just so I could have had the bragging rights. I believe we had a Philly win last week as well. So we could have kept that momentum going.

[00:37:03] But Rob is on fire this season. 4-1 this season. 4-1. Okay. Chris, I was in Philly very recently. Great city. I had a great time there. I hadn't spent all that much time in Philly despite my pretty close proximity to Philly being in New York. Great time in Philly. There was still confetti on the ground from the Eagles parade because I got there the day after. And as Sam Moore reminded me, when you're listening to this, it actually is MLB opening day. So crack open a beer. Get your popcorn.

[00:37:33] Get your hot dogs. Watch some baseball. Listen to Twish. At Jordan Karras on Twitter. You've already listened to Twish. Next week. Next week. Keep listening to Twish. All right, Jordan. Thank you so much. Listen again. You could listen twice. Next week for a mergatory edition of Twish. Thank you so much. Take care, everybody. Have a good one. Bye. Bye.
