Club Condo Survivor 47 Finale

Club Condo is back, and it's time to dive into the finale of Survivor 47.

[00:00:00] Full Tilt Boogie is a state of mind.

[00:00:02] Oh, really?

[00:00:03] It's like you could call it Club Condo.

[00:00:04] You could call it whatever you want.

[00:00:06] It's just a state of mind.

[00:00:08] You got me standing, babe.

[00:00:09] You got me wild.

[00:00:11] You're just a sugarcoat assassin with a cinnamon smile.

[00:00:15] You got me dancing in your kitchen with a lightsaber.

[00:00:19] Every person serves their purpose.

[00:00:21] That's a Club Condo.

[00:00:22] Club Condo.

[00:00:24] So did I Full Tilt Boogie at the sanctuary?

[00:00:27] You could Full Tilt Boogie at the sanctuary.

[00:00:29] I don't know if you did or not.

[00:00:30] Oh, I did.

[00:00:31] Hey, everybody.

[00:00:31] What's going on?

[00:00:32] Rob Sestrino back with our Club Condo season finale.

[00:00:38] We are ready after a couple of days to have digested the Survivor 47 finale

[00:00:44] to talk about it here with my co-host for Club Condo, Chappelle.

[00:00:48] Chappelle, how are you?

[00:00:49] Hey, Rob.

[00:00:51] I am good.

[00:00:52] I am sad.

[00:00:53] I'm happy.

[00:00:54] I'm all the things because Survivor 47 is over.

[00:00:58] And, you know, things happened.

[00:01:00] We had a great season.

[00:01:02] We have a great winner.

[00:01:02] We have a great cast of people that we talked about.

[00:01:05] And we got a great preview for season 48.

[00:01:08] And so there's more Survivor to come.

[00:01:09] It's like, it's over.

[00:01:12] I'm sad that it's over, but I'm happy that more Survivor is coming.

[00:01:15] Yeah.

[00:01:15] Well, and more Survivor is coming.

[00:01:17] Like, that happened.

[00:01:18] But let's move on.

[00:01:19] Yeah.

[00:01:20] Okay.

[00:01:20] Well, two months to go until Survivor 48 drops, but it was just this past Wednesday night.

[00:01:26] It feels like it was like a month ago.

[00:01:29] Yeah.

[00:01:30] This has been ridiculous.

[00:01:32] So Wednesday, we had our two-hour finale.

[00:01:34] I think the reason why it feels like it was so long ago is because we all pronounced Rachel

[00:01:38] the winner last week.

[00:01:39] Yeah.

[00:01:39] The first part of the two-part finale.

[00:01:40] And so this was more like the coronation or part two or the after party even for Rachel's win,

[00:01:46] which we all saw coming a mile away at this point.

[00:01:49] And then, yeah, so much, so much, so much discourse about Rachel, her win, the season.

[00:01:55] Everything has just been jam-packed into these last few days, right in time for the holidays.

[00:02:00] I think we were fed.

[00:02:01] We were fed, for sure.

[00:02:03] And, you know, look, it's the holidays.

[00:02:04] Everybody's got to eat.

[00:02:05] I feel like this is like our Club Condo holiday party.

[00:02:07] So we want to hear from the chat also if you have questions, things you want us to address

[00:02:12] as we take one last look back at Survivor 47 and a lot of the fun that we had.

[00:02:19] Chappelle, last night I got together with Dhamabate.

[00:02:22] Dhamabate said, hey, if Rachel wins, I'm going to go on RHAP to talk about why I think she played

[00:02:30] maybe the greatest game ever.

[00:02:32] Mm-hmm.

[00:02:34] And?

[00:02:35] And we talked about it.

[00:02:36] You did.

[00:02:37] And what was your takeaway from that?

[00:02:38] Because I did listen.

[00:02:39] Yeah.

[00:02:40] Yeah.

[00:02:41] I think that Dom was very excited for his friend in the moment.

[00:02:47] Mm-hmm.

[00:02:47] Yeah.

[00:02:48] He came in hot.

[00:02:49] He came in hot on Twitter, right?

[00:02:51] On Twitter, on Blue Sky.

[00:02:52] He's like, and I'll debate anybody.

[00:02:55] Line him up.

[00:02:55] Tell him what, tell him I'm outside.

[00:02:57] You know, it's up.

[00:02:59] All right, JP, come see me.

[00:03:00] I'm going to be there.

[00:03:01] He had a whole wrestling promo.

[00:03:02] We're like shaking in our boots like, oh my God, Dhamabate is coming.

[00:03:06] And then he burst into the podcast.

[00:03:07] He's like, sorry, watch the season.

[00:03:10] Yeah.

[00:03:13] Look, who among us has it in the light of day comes to say like, well, okay, maybe I was a little excited.

[00:03:21] Um, I've heard some very hyperbolic statements about Survivor over the years.

[00:03:25] We'll see a player be the greatest player of all time today and then gone tomorrow and then nobody's talking about them.

[00:03:30] It's happened.

[00:03:31] We've seen people be like, this person had all this untapped potential.

[00:03:36] She's going places if she ever plays again.

[00:03:39] And people are like, no, no pre-merger could ever do that.

[00:03:42] Not even some lady named Kelly Wentworth.

[00:03:44] And they were like, wait, oh my God, did it happen?

[00:03:46] Like, so crazier things have happened.

[00:03:48] But I love that he came in kind of like, all right, I've sobered up a little bit.

[00:03:52] Um, because Rob, I have been there.

[00:03:55] Do you remember?

[00:03:56] Yeah.

[00:03:56] Way back at the beginning of this season.

[00:03:59] It was years ago.

[00:04:00] But oh my God, the stress Asia had me going through for the first three episodes where I was just like, everything she could do was right.

[00:04:08] Everything everybody else did toward her was wrong.

[00:04:10] I stand by it, but like, it was just, I felt so much emotion about her playing the game that I could only imagine what it would be like to watch somebody that, you know, go out and play and then also win the game too.

[00:04:21] And especially when you're not seeing a lot of flaws in their game, as far as the execution goes.

[00:04:26] So I thought Dominic was making a few very, very valid points and I would love to address some of them.

[00:04:32] Oh, you want to address the Dom Abate podcast?

[00:04:35] Feel free.

[00:04:36] I do.

[00:04:36] Yeah, I do.

[00:04:37] So one of the things about Dom's statement was that to me, it felt like he was showing that Rachel had all the tools to be one of the best survivor players ever based on her actions in the game.

[00:04:48] Sure.

[00:04:49] You do not always have control of your destiny in survivor.

[00:04:52] I think that, uh, an interesting conversation I've been kind of having with myself and like, as I read the discourse online is that I think people always look at survivor as you did something wrong.

[00:05:01] Thus you lost.

[00:05:02] No disrespect to David Bloomberg, but it's kind of like, if you hadn't done this, you would have won the game.

[00:05:07] And in reality, there are times where there are just things out of your control that you, that you cannot control that.

[00:05:12] And you are put in a position and you have to play out of that position.

[00:05:15] Regardless, there's nothing you could have done differently.

[00:05:17] If everybody plays survivor optimally, it's still not that, uh, like, it's still not going to be an even chance across the board that everybody has the same chance to win.

[00:05:24] There are different biases.

[00:05:25] There are different, um, you know, identities that are going to do better naturally.

[00:05:28] And then there's different perceived biases as well.

[00:05:31] So if Rachel comes in and people are like, she's smart.

[00:05:34] And then she does good at a puzzle.

[00:05:35] And then like, someone's like, oh, and she stole the rice.

[00:05:37] It's like, oh, oh, look, she's crafty.

[00:05:39] Oh, the shot in the dark thing is crafty.

[00:05:41] This thing is crafty.

[00:05:42] I think Rachel had the craftiest win that I've seen in a while.

[00:05:45] She was always looking for loopholes and stuff.

[00:05:46] But I think from her position, she was always maximizing her opportunities to win.

[00:05:51] And I, and I don't, I don't have any issue with that.

[00:05:53] Even down to in this episode where Rachel pulls Teenie to the side, like Teenie.

[00:05:58] I got to make sure you win the fire here.

[00:06:00] So I'm going to teach you.

[00:06:01] We've seen that in Survivor before.

[00:06:02] And it's like, that's what, that's what winners do.

[00:06:05] They go at the board and they try to determine, okay, here's my spot.

[00:06:09] Now, how do I make the best of it?

[00:06:10] And sometimes you have to win immunity, but other times you can do other things to increase

[00:06:14] your chance of winning.

[00:06:15] And Dom couldn't find a lot of the spots where Rachel bobbed when she should have weaved.

[00:06:20] Right.

[00:06:20] Right.

[00:06:20] We're seeing Rachel at the bottom of the tribe because she got blindsided, but Annika got

[00:06:25] blindsided.

[00:06:26] Rachel was a part of the blindside.

[00:06:27] You know, she got blindsided as well as proxy of that, but Rachel didn't go home there.

[00:06:31] You know, there was, she could have been in danger there, but it's like, it's not to

[00:06:33] say that she made a mistake.

[00:06:34] It's that Andy connected with Sam and you know, that, that kind of thing.

[00:06:38] So I enjoyed what he was saying.

[00:06:40] I thought it was a very measured conversation from Dom.

[00:06:42] And I really suggested anybody who, uh, didn't listen to the podcast, go listen to it because

[00:06:47] I know how it feels to have like your heart be like, this is the greatest person that existed.

[00:06:52] And everybody needs to believe that I stand by Asia, but you know, to have to then defend

[00:06:56] it with what we saw on the screen.

[00:06:58] And sometimes those two things online.

[00:07:00] So I really enjoyed the Dom podcast.

[00:07:02] I really appreciate you saying that.

[00:07:03] Yeah.

[00:07:03] I think that that's a good way of, uh, surmising what Dom said in the podcast of that.

[00:07:09] She's somebody who's going to make the optimal move at every single turn and not every single

[00:07:15] survivor player.

[00:07:17] Is that me other and other survivor players have like different set of skill sets that

[00:07:21] are effective in winning the game where they have sort of like, you know, off the charts

[00:07:24] charisma or are just like a natural leader that people follow.

[00:07:28] I don't think that that was necessarily Rachel's game.

[00:07:31] I think that Rachel was just like a incredibly savvy game player and tough competitor.

[00:07:36] And then she was able to, you know, uh, execute, uh, in a bunch of, uh, opportunities that she

[00:07:42] had down the stretch.

[00:07:43] And I think that Dom was super impressed with her for what she was able to do.

[00:07:47] So I thought it was a fun conversation.

[00:07:49] It was probably not as hyperbolic as was advertised by Dom on Twitter, but I think that, uh, he came

[00:07:56] in, uh, you know, he could have come in and been a cartoon character if you wanted to.

[00:08:01] I was expecting that.

[00:08:03] Right.

[00:08:03] Cause that's, cause that's how I was living for the first three episodes of the show,

[00:08:06] but like to sit back and actually have to say, all right, I understand that I was a

[00:08:11] little, I came in a little hot, but you know, looking at what I have in front of me here,

[00:08:15] the, here's the, what I'm trying to express.

[00:08:17] And so, although it was like advertised to be, you know, Dom Abate takes on RHAP, bringing

[00:08:22] your best fighters.

[00:08:23] You got Shannon, Mike Bloom, Rob lined up me and Josh Wiggler and like waiting in the

[00:08:28] wings for our chance.

[00:08:28] Like we're all picking our fighter.

[00:08:30] I thought it was a great conversation.

[00:08:32] You really let Dom cook.

[00:08:33] And I think that, um, as someone who he came really close to winning survivor and he's seen

[00:08:38] a lot of survivor players, he knows them.

[00:08:40] He's very close to a survivor winner being that, I mean, they were one vote away.

[00:08:43] Uh, I think that he has a lot of knowledge about what he's talking about and he knows

[00:08:47] Rachel pretty well.

[00:08:48] So again, if you haven't listened to it, go check it out.

[00:08:50] Cause I'd like that way better than him coming in and be like, prove me wrong.

[00:08:54] You know, like this was way better.

[00:08:55] Yeah.

[00:08:55] Chappelle, how would you have held up this fall?

[00:08:57] If Asia did get to the final four?

[00:09:02] The Lord stepped in.

[00:09:04] Okay.

[00:09:05] Um, because I was having a hard time.

[00:09:07] Episode one, episode one was like, and again, I think I said this on club condo, look at me

[00:09:12] making this about me.

[00:09:13] I do not care.

[00:09:15] The moment Asia, uh, applied to be on survivor and went out there on a Fiji.

[00:09:18] She made this about me because you didn't care about my feelings when you went out there

[00:09:21] on the show.

[00:09:22] So now I got to just deal with that on this podcast and for the, everybody, I would do

[00:09:25] everything, but go to therapy for this.

[00:09:27] Okay.

[00:09:27] So I, I would have struggled.

[00:09:29] I would have struggled.

[00:09:30] I would have struggled at every turn.

[00:09:31] And then when, if Asia was in the Rachel spot, let's say you just swap their, just

[00:09:36] their, their bodies, right?

[00:09:38] Asia wins the whole game.

[00:09:39] She wins all those challenges.

[00:09:41] She does the same exact things that Rachel does.

[00:09:43] I'm Dom Abate.

[00:09:44] I'm on here like, and you can't tell me she ain't the best.

[00:09:47] You know, so I totally get it, but I didn't need that stress.

[00:09:50] I didn't need it.

[00:09:51] I didn't need it in my life.

[00:09:52] And, you know, I don't see that, uh, you know, Asia doesn't seem like she's too broken

[00:09:55] up about it.

[00:09:56] Obviously she would have loved to win.

[00:09:57] Um, but you know, I think Rachel played a great game needs to be celebrated.

[00:10:01] And then if Rachel, you know, isn't going to play again, maybe then maybe we bring

[00:10:06] back Asia to play again.

[00:10:07] I'm just saying, give other people a chance.

[00:10:08] Rachel, damn, stop hogging all the money.

[00:10:11] Okay.

[00:10:11] She hasn't even played another show yet.

[00:10:14] And, and look until Asia plays another show, keep it that way.

[00:10:16] No, I'm joking.

[00:10:17] Asia, you can never play another show.

[00:10:18] Asia better not ever go on television again, because I could not handle this.

[00:10:22] Rob, you have seen these RHIP patrons, listeners, and even podcasters now play Survivor.

[00:10:29] How do you feel about, uh, you know, the impact that RHIP has had on not only Survivor the show,

[00:10:36] but some of these now iconic players in Survivor history, because a lot of them are citing RHIP

[00:10:41] as some of their study material for before going on the show.

[00:10:44] Yeah.

[00:10:44] I, uh, think that's an interesting question.

[00:10:47] And it's, I'm probably not the right person to ask that.

[00:10:50] I do think that RHIP has had a real role in like the evolution of the show in that, you

[00:10:57] know, maybe not everybody who goes on the show was a lifelong RHIP listener who was like,

[00:11:04] you know, with me from 2010.

[00:11:06] But I do think a lot of people either, um, you know, we're listening to the show or they

[00:11:11] discover the show as they're in casting, or they have been selected to the show and they

[00:11:15] start to cram the show.

[00:11:18] And so I do think that a lot of the things in the way that we've talked about the game

[00:11:23] over the years, I think has impacted the direction of the game.

[00:11:27] Now, some people might say to its detriment of like, oh, everybody is a game bot.

[00:11:33] Everybody is like strategy, strategy, strategy.

[00:11:36] And okay.

[00:11:37] Maybe that is a little bit of our influence of maybe the way that we have talked about

[00:11:41] the game is the way that the players now all talk about the game.

[00:11:45] When we started this thing, it was just us, you know, talking about the game a certain

[00:11:50] way.

[00:11:50] And the people on the show would have like, would not be discussing the game the way that

[00:11:54] we were.

[00:11:55] Yeah.

[00:11:56] And I think that, um, we haven't lost characters due to the conversation about strategy, but

[00:12:00] I could definitely understand how people could feel that way for sure.

[00:12:04] So, but here's my thing.

[00:12:06] I think that RHIP and other podcasts as well, you know, they're talking about Survivor have

[00:12:11] a responsibility to have these conversations because, um, now, uh, people are,

[00:12:15] people are prepping for the show and they're really tuning into these conversations.

[00:12:18] And it's, it is, um, it's kind of affecting the way people talk about Survivor and prepare

[00:12:23] for the game.

[00:12:24] Um, we even see, uh, in the final tribal council after, after the final tribal council, the

[00:12:29] reunion show or whatever, um, you know, Andy uses the word orthogonal.

[00:12:33] Right.

[00:12:34] And it's kind of like, did he just have that on the tip of his tongue?

[00:12:38] Or is that something like that stuck with him because people kept making such a big

[00:12:41] deal out of it on RHIP and TOS and all this other stuff.

[00:12:44] Right.

[00:12:44] Like, yeah, you could cite a small line from, yeah.

[00:12:49] Sylvia.

[00:12:49] A lot of people ain't citing Survivor, uh, you know, Survivor Govon and Survivor Fiji

[00:12:54] like that.

[00:12:55] And so to go back and be like, yeah, uh, Sylvia.

[00:12:58] Yeah.

[00:12:58] Like that sounds like a deep cut that some Survivor, uh, fans would know, but it also

[00:13:02] was kind of like, we, we'd be pushing, you know, certain things in the RHIP universe.

[00:13:07] And so I see that the conversations about Mike Holloway and Ben Drieberger, these are definitely

[00:13:11] conversations I've had or heard had on RHIP about their wins, about the way they wins and

[00:13:16] what those look like.

[00:13:17] And those conversations are now on the show permeating throughout.

[00:13:20] And so I think that I love that I get to be a part of this beautiful network, but I

[00:13:24] love that it's affecting the show and the way people talk about it because I didn't

[00:13:27] think the Ben and Mike, uh, discourse would get so, uh, spicy, uh, this last week, but

[00:13:32] it's been fun.

[00:13:33] Yeah.

[00:13:33] And I did, I reached out to Mike Holloway to ask him like, Hey Mike, do you want to weigh

[00:13:38] in about this?

[00:13:39] And Mike is just a super nice guy, uh, that I got the chance to talk to him the other

[00:13:44] night.

[00:13:45] And he was like, he's like, no, you guys that looks, I'll leave it to you guys to

[00:13:49] talk about.

[00:13:49] So, uh, he could not have been sweeter about the whole thing.

[00:13:53] He said he loves Rachel.

[00:13:54] He loves her win.

[00:13:55] Uh, he did, you know, was not taking any offense and he's doing great, but he just

[00:14:00] didn't feel like the need to come on and, uh, discuss any of this.

[00:14:04] I don't know if anybody checked in with Ben, uh, but overall, uh, yeah, it was fun to have

[00:14:10] these throwbacks.

[00:14:11] Yeah.

[00:14:12] And I personally think that, uh, the Mike slash Ben stuff just needed more data.

[00:14:18] I think that in the moment it was the first of its kind.

[00:14:20] We had never seen somebody just went out or idle, you know, find idols until they got

[00:14:25] out basically.

[00:14:25] And then of course, fire, uh, final fire making challenge with Ben and stuff that that was

[00:14:30] all an outlier too.

[00:14:31] But now that we've stepped away from it, I do want to look at survivor as, you know,

[00:14:35] sometimes things happen to you in the game.

[00:14:37] And then what you do at that point to fix those things is a part of your strength as

[00:14:41] a game player.

[00:14:43] And, uh, you know, individual immunity there are baked into the game.

[00:14:49] They are, um, especially individual immunity.

[00:14:51] I would say the immunity idols are probably a little bit wonkier for me because, you know,

[00:14:54] who finds them?

[00:14:55] We've heard, you know, there's disparities in that, but at the same time, like if it's

[00:14:58] a, it's a, the idea is that these challenges are built to where everybody could have an

[00:15:02] equal or, you know, about equal, um, playing field to win them.

[00:15:06] Then you don't take away from somebody because they were able to win those things.

[00:15:09] Um, because it's really easy for you to start winning challenges and the players to also

[00:15:14] look at you and say, that's not a threat.

[00:15:15] That's actually not something I really care about.

[00:15:17] Let's move on to something that is a threat, you know?

[00:15:19] And so if you are a threat, you got to do what it takes to get to the end and then worry

[00:15:22] about all of that later on.

[00:15:23] I love to see people talking about the evolution of the game like that, uh, because people

[00:15:27] like Rachel and Andy are probably ones who sat around and said, you know, Ben, Mike,

[00:15:32] these aren't the games you want, right?

[00:15:33] You want the strategic cerebral games, the mastermind, you're influencing everybody's votes.

[00:15:37] Sometimes your back is up against the wall and you just got to win.

[00:15:40] And, uh, I love seeing all of that play out at once.

[00:15:43] Well, I think what's cool for people who are longtime fans like Rachel and Andy, they were

[00:15:47] able to come into the game and put their own unique stamps on it.

[00:15:51] They didn't just like, uh, talk the talk about like what they would do on the show.

[00:15:55] They actually came in and invented things and, you know, uh, like played like very interesting

[00:16:00] strategic games.

[00:16:01] So I give both of them a lot of credit.

[00:16:03] Yeah.

[00:16:04] Even, uh, Rachel's shot in the dark thing.

[00:16:06] Right.

[00:16:07] Uh, you know, uh, I heard her exit interview with you where she's like, I was just, I just

[00:16:11] thought like, look, I don't want to have to vote for Gabe here and get that, but get the

[00:16:13] blood on my hands.

[00:16:14] And there's like easy cop out, but also, yeah, I'm gonna look around and see if anybody's

[00:16:18] paying attention.

[00:16:19] It's inventive.

[00:16:20] It's creative.

[00:16:20] Uh, it's not like gay, like game breaking, but it's definitely something that again,

[00:16:26] if you're looking from Dom's point of view, you look at Rachel and say, who else is thinking

[00:16:29] like that?

[00:16:30] Who else is going to maximize every opportunity to get their, their way closer to the end?

[00:16:35] Um, if you're somebody like Rachel and you have that skillset, you utilize it.

[00:16:38] And if you're, you're not able to, you know, move the game cerebrally from the background,

[00:16:44] be, be the ocean or the tide, not the boat, whatever, then you got to win your way to the

[00:16:48] end and do what you got to do to get to the end, you know?

[00:16:50] So I loved all of it, man.

[00:16:52] This finale gave me so much to talk about.

[00:16:54] Uh, I'm really enjoying seeing people, uh, energized by talking about Survivor.

[00:16:58] Let's talk about something that you brought across my radar right before we came on.

[00:17:04] This was very interesting to see because, uh, this, you know, for all of the stats and

[00:17:09] everything that we talk about, I had not seen this brought up before.

[00:17:13] And, you know, apologies if you all had been talking about this, but check

[00:17:18] this out.

[00:17:19] Okay.

[00:17:20] This is from, uh, a Twitter account.

[00:17:23] Matthew Matt survivor.

[00:17:25] Oh four says quick reminder to always sit in the middle at final tribal council.

[00:17:32] So how about this?

[00:17:33] Let's take a look.

[00:17:34] Here's Erica in the middle, Marianne in the middle, jam jam in the middle D in the middle,

[00:17:42] then Kenzie's in the middle.

[00:17:44] And then Rachel is in the middle.

[00:17:48] Yep.

[00:17:49] Um, only one not in the middle here, Gabler, but, um, for the most part, six out of seven

[00:17:54] is, uh, you know, the odds there.

[00:17:57] If you're in the final three, you're, you're aiming for that middle seat.

[00:18:01] I think, you know, I think, uh, maybe Cassidy was told like sit in the middle.

[00:18:05] And then when the votes started coming in, like, Oh God, you made a mistake.

[00:18:07] Now I'm joking.

[00:18:08] Um, I love this.

[00:18:09] I love this because I'm not a very superstitious person, but I think like, again, if you're

[00:18:14] in survivor, maybe you are.

[00:18:16] I think Rome talked about it earlier in the season where he was saying, I already had some

[00:18:19] superstition about being in the front in the middle, you know, like Jeff, I think that's

[00:18:23] where that's a bad spot to be at, at tribal council.

[00:18:26] Cause you can't see, you don't know what's going on behind you.

[00:18:28] And he was wrong.

[00:18:29] Rome actually did not go home that episode, but here, look at it.

[00:18:32] Look at the material.

[00:18:33] Look at Erica, jam jam, Kenzie all straight down the line, just in the middle as these people

[00:18:38] are holding onto their hands as they win the game.

[00:18:40] It's so dope.

[00:18:41] Well, let me ask you, do you feel like that?

[00:18:43] No, they, I don't think they come in and in productions, like I pick a seat.

[00:18:47] Like they tell them who, who to sit, where do you think that production sits them where

[00:18:51] that, okay.

[00:18:51] That this is who we think is going to win.

[00:18:53] Obviously the votes haven't been cast yet.

[00:18:55] They don't know people change their mind at tribal council, but do you think that they

[00:18:59] sit them of like, okay, here's the person that we think is going to win.

[00:19:03] And for TV, this looks the best.

[00:19:06] Cassidy was in the middle.

[00:19:08] And I don't know if production thought Cassidy was going to win, but I know a lot of the

[00:19:12] viewing audience did as well.

[00:19:13] Right.

[00:19:13] And so, yeah, there it is.

[00:19:15] And so I, I'm not, look, I can't speak to whether or not this is done on purpose, but

[00:19:21] I do think that with Cassidy being in the middle and her being like, if it was Owen in

[00:19:25] the middle, I think you're like, nah, cause Owen, I think at that point I realized that

[00:19:29] it was going to be a very uphill battle for him to win.

[00:19:31] But I think that round had really come down to whether it's going to be Cassidy or, or

[00:19:36] Cassidy from a lot of the viewing audience.

[00:19:38] So I don't know, maybe they didn't think that it was going to be, uh, you know, that it

[00:19:42] was going to be Gabler and they were shocked.

[00:19:44] But, um, I would say the same thing about maybe Charlie, you know, we talk about Charlie

[00:19:47] as a winner, uh, potentially and how he lost them both at a tribal council.

[00:19:51] Uh, but based on if they, if they had an inkling that Kenzie was going to win based on whatever

[00:19:57] confessionals or, you know, pre jury segments they were doing, um, that they clearly looked

[00:20:03] at Kenzie is having the edge.

[00:20:04] If this is, if this is going to be something where you look at as evidence.

[00:20:07] No, I will also say that the other pattern that you could see here is that, okay.

[00:20:12] When Erica is in the final three with two men, she's in the middle, Marianne with two men,

[00:20:18] she's in the middle.

[00:20:20] Uh, here's, uh, Cassidy with two men.

[00:20:23] She's in the middle.

[00:20:24] Jam Jam is with two women.

[00:20:25] He's in the middle.

[00:20:26] Uh, you know, D is with two men.

[00:20:29] She's in the middle.

[00:20:30] Uh, Kenzie with two men.

[00:20:31] She's in the middle, but this season is the outlier.

[00:20:36] You know, that works for six seasons until now is Sam just too tall that it does not

[00:20:42] need to put them off to the side.

[00:20:44] I don't know.

[00:20:45] I like, I like that there is something to talk about here.

[00:20:49] I'm, I'm not quite sure what it means because like you said, Rachel is the outlier there.

[00:20:53] So is it just, yeah, we try to make sure there's a, like a, like almost like a gender

[00:20:57] pattern, um, amongst these people or is it the person in the middle?

[00:21:01] And it's just a huge coincidence.

[00:21:03] Regardless, this is pretty damn cool to look at.

[00:21:05] You know, um, if I, if it's, uh, people were starting to talk about which station to

[00:21:10] sit at for the final travel, you know, for the fire making like, Oh, don't sit in that

[00:21:13] one.

[00:21:14] And I saw y'all looking at the stats the other day, um, you and Adam Klein, but this

[00:21:19] is far more entertaining to me.

[00:21:20] Like F that fire thing.

[00:21:21] Look at this.

[00:21:22] Yeah.

[00:21:22] That's so interesting.

[00:21:23] So, uh, we'll see when we, uh, survivor 48 final travel council, we'll take a look

[00:21:27] at who's sitting in what seat.

[00:21:29] I would literally be trying to get into the middle.

[00:21:31] If it was me just because shotgun, shotgun middle, my seat, my seat, sit down.

[00:21:37] I'm cause even if you're wrong, at least you get to be one of the outliers at that

[00:21:41] point.

[00:21:41] You know what I'm saying?

[00:21:42] Like, Oh, well, Chappelle was in the wrong seat.

[00:21:44] He's like, yeah, yeah.

[00:21:45] Talk about me a little bit more.

[00:21:46] That's what I need.

[00:21:47] Chappelle.

[00:21:47] After the finale, we had the survivor after show.

[00:21:49] This was the quickest survivor after show.

[00:21:52] Did you feel like that you missed out on anything or do you feel like that, uh, you're

[00:21:58] fine with them?

[00:21:59] Like, uh, walking it back and back and back till it's like almost non-existent.

[00:22:05] I'm torn because I agree with Jeff that this is the purest version of the show that you're

[00:22:09] going to get as far as these people's real life experience in the show and how they are

[00:22:14] processing what's going on.

[00:22:15] It is the moment where there's nothing has corrupted their views of the show.

[00:22:20] They haven't gone to social media, heard nobody talking trash.

[00:22:22] They haven't seen the preseason hype.

[00:22:24] They haven't seen Asia pop out in the trailer and the crowd go wild.

[00:22:27] They don't know.

[00:22:28] So they're just talking about their raw emotion, their raw feeling about how they viewed the

[00:22:32] game.

[00:22:33] Um, and I think we've seen enough, uh, you know, survivor after shows or live, uh, survivor,

[00:22:39] uh, tribal councils where we've seen where the stuff that happened on the show that people

[00:22:44] watched, uh, really did affect how they acted when Jeff started asking questions.

[00:22:48] Oh, well, you know, me and such and such are good now.

[00:22:51] And you know, we work things out, you know, like we've, we've seen all of that.

[00:22:54] This, you get to go straight to them and be like, so why Rachel?

[00:22:59] Why not Sam?

[00:23:00] Genevieve, what do you think?

[00:23:01] Saul, what do you think?

[00:23:02] You go straight to them.

[00:23:03] Now it's, it's getting a little boring though.

[00:23:05] I think there's not a lot to talk about if we don't have an off season or a space between,

[00:23:10] you know, them watching the show and them in this area because they don't, they don't

[00:23:16] have a lot of data, you know, uh, as far as Rachel goes, like there's only so much you

[00:23:20] can ask her because she only saw her perspective.

[00:23:22] I would love to see what Rachel thinks about, you know, like now that I've seen Sam's game

[00:23:26] up close, you know, or, you know, you know, or I thought Andy was working like this or

[00:23:30] I never knew Sue was doing these things.

[00:23:32] Those were the conversations that I missed.

[00:23:34] So I'm, I'm torn.

[00:23:35] But I feel like that those are the tough conversations to have on the actual after show.

[00:23:40] Like, I feel like that, you know, the after show is good for the, you know, who would have

[00:23:44] voted for who, which I think is better in the moment for sure to do it there.

[00:23:48] But I feel like that what we really miss about the, uh, doing the live reunion show is the

[00:23:55] cringe that comes out of it where that there is, it's just such great, like human drama

[00:24:01] of here are these people who went out on survivor.

[00:24:03] They had this experience.

[00:24:04] They've seen the show and for a lot of them, this is the last couple seconds they're going

[00:24:09] to be on TV ever.

[00:24:11] And they, in those final moments of being televised people that sometimes they do wild stuff that

[00:24:19] they will blurt things out.

[00:24:21] They say that those types of things, just, we don't get them anymore.

[00:24:25] No, we don't.

[00:24:26] And I don't like memorable things.

[00:24:28] We've had some truly memorable things on survivor.

[00:24:34] Remember Stephanie LaGrosa jumping up and yelling about her filet mignon pizza, like

[00:24:39] on the Gigi's is like, girl, what?

[00:24:41] You know, like we, we've seen some wild stuff and I think I want to give them credit because

[00:24:46] that this is not anything that I thought about Fiona Lou in the chat said, we should have

[00:24:51] both.

[00:24:51] Por que no los dos.

[00:24:53] Let's do it twice.

[00:24:53] And so here's my thing.

[00:24:57] We had an extra episode this season.

[00:24:59] We split our finale in two.

[00:25:02] Go back to one episode for the finale and keep that extra episode.

[00:25:08] Bring them all in.

[00:25:09] We know, we heard in these survivor streets that CBS did a little viewing party.

[00:25:14] We saw some clips on social media of them at the viewing party and stuff, watching the

[00:25:18] show, celebrating Rachel.

[00:25:20] You're going to bring them back together anyway.

[00:25:21] You might as well ask them a few questions.

[00:25:23] It's that's all I'm saying.

[00:25:24] So, uh, I think there's space.

[00:25:27] I think in the past it was like, well, you're holding space.

[00:25:30] I've got to hold space for that.

[00:25:32] If nothing, I like, I would love for them to us to get who would have voted for who?

[00:25:36] Like they normally have been doing everything's the same.

[00:25:39] And then boom, next episode.

[00:25:40] All right.

[00:25:41] We've watched the show.

[00:25:42] Now tell me, what do you think?

[00:25:44] And then that's when you start getting to the nitty and the gritty.

[00:25:47] Yeah.

[00:25:47] Okay.

[00:25:48] Well, Chappelle, why don't you audition?

[00:25:49] Maybe you would be the perfect.

[00:25:50] Maybe if Jeff doesn't want to do it, maybe you should be the person who hosts the post

[00:25:55] finale reunion show.

[00:25:57] You do great exit interviews for Dondi and all sorts of different shows.

[00:26:03] And these people that they're so warm to you.

[00:26:06] Maybe you could get some real answers out of these people.

[00:26:09] I do have some questions.

[00:26:10] I do have some questions.

[00:26:12] What would you ask them?

[00:26:13] Well, let me see.

[00:26:14] I got a few.

[00:26:15] What's on your mind?

[00:26:17] I want to ask Anika about this toxic clingy boyfriend thing she has on the dating apps.

[00:26:23] That's good.

[00:26:24] Yeah.

[00:26:25] Because we didn't get into that.

[00:26:26] Nobody really talked about.

[00:26:27] I mean, we kind of heard about Sue biting the back of her tongue in your exit interview.

[00:26:32] But that didn't even come up.

[00:26:33] Nobody going to talk about the red paint.

[00:26:35] I would love to know why some people were, you know, what people thought about Sue's game

[00:26:39] in relationship to Sam's maybe, you know, like it seemed like Sam came in second place

[00:26:44] because he got Kyle's vote.

[00:26:45] But if Rachel was out of the mix, what does that look like?

[00:26:48] Right.

[00:26:48] Sue played a loyal game.

[00:26:50] Does she still get Caroline?

[00:26:52] Does she still get Gabe?

[00:26:53] Is there any world where she, it doesn't look like she would have gotten Kyle, but is

[00:26:56] there any way where she gets other votes?

[00:26:58] Maybe she gets Rachel.

[00:27:00] Who knows if Sue is a contender here?

[00:27:02] I got a lot of questions.

[00:27:03] Andy, you passed out.

[00:27:04] That was cool.

[00:27:05] Jeff brought that up.

[00:27:06] But since then, how are you and John Lovett doing?

[00:27:08] Y'all talk?

[00:27:09] Y'all friends?

[00:27:10] You know, I got questions.

[00:27:11] Rome, Asia.

[00:27:12] That was crazy, right?

[00:27:13] But did you have fun?

[00:27:14] I could do this all day.

[00:27:16] So I think you're right.

[00:27:17] Let me sign up for this.

[00:27:19] I got a lot of questions for Tini too.

[00:27:20] You know, you brought up Sue.

[00:27:21] Sue revealed at the final tribal council that, hey, I am not 59 or I'm not 45 years old.

[00:27:29] I'm 59.

[00:27:30] Today is my birthday.

[00:27:33] She actually said back home.

[00:27:34] It's my birthday.

[00:27:34] I don't know if it's a different day in Fiji than it is here in the United States.

[00:27:39] It is.

[00:27:40] It is.

[00:27:40] Yeah.

[00:27:41] They filmed this in the spring, I believe.

[00:27:43] Yes.

[00:27:43] Or early summer.

[00:27:44] Right?

[00:27:45] So yeah, this is not Sue's birthday.

[00:27:47] Right?

[00:27:48] How does time work?

[00:27:49] It's not Sue's birthday now.

[00:27:50] I'm just wondering if it's like with the time zones.

[00:27:53] Was it like not her birthday anymore?

[00:27:54] Because she's like back home.

[00:27:55] It's my birthday.

[00:27:56] But Chappelle, what do you think of the reaction from the cast to learning about Sue's actual age?

[00:28:06] Sam would have lost my vote right there.

[00:28:08] What is this?

[00:28:10] Sam.

[00:28:10] Sam.

[00:28:11] Samuel.

[00:28:13] Samuel.

[00:28:14] Hey, you ain't that surprised.

[00:28:15] You are not that.

[00:28:16] Stop it.

[00:28:17] Stop it.

[00:28:18] Cut it out.

[00:28:19] Yeah.

[00:28:19] Stop the shenanigans.

[00:28:20] He about fell off that little stool he's on, that little tree stump or whatever they're

[00:28:23] sitting on.

[00:28:24] He's like, oh my God.

[00:28:25] Yeah.

[00:28:26] All right.

[00:28:26] All right, Sam.

[00:28:27] Cut it out.

[00:28:28] But you know what?

[00:28:29] He's 24.

[00:28:30] Like if you're 24, do you know how old people are at different ages?

[00:28:35] Is that possible?

[00:28:36] When I was 24, I thought anybody older than 25 was like 90.

[00:28:40] You know what I was like?

[00:28:41] Oh God, how did you make it to that age?

[00:28:43] Let it kind of say, God willing, you know.

[00:28:46] You got some time ahead of you, I hope.

[00:28:48] You know, let's prayers up.

[00:28:49] You know?

[00:28:51] Maximus, mom, one of our favorites is the Bowie Jane of Survivor.

[00:28:54] Who pulled it off better?

[00:28:56] Bowie Jane or Sue?

[00:28:57] Sue.

[00:28:58] Sue pulled it off better.

[00:28:59] Both came in third place.

[00:29:00] Sue pulled it off way better, right?

[00:29:04] Way better.

[00:29:05] Because Felicia had called Bowie Jane out like week two.

[00:29:08] It was like, that girl older than me.

[00:29:10] And I was like, Felicia, your math is wrong too.

[00:29:11] But you're not far off.

[00:29:13] You know, I think that Sue had a bigger age gap than she was lying about.

[00:29:16] What was it?

[00:29:17] 13, 14 years.

[00:29:18] I think Bowie Jane's had given herself like eight years.

[00:29:21] I feel like 10.

[00:29:22] Yeah, something like that.

[00:29:22] Yeah, it wasn't as drastic.

[00:29:25] Sue definitely pulled it off.

[00:29:26] Because we didn't get one confessional of somebody being like, Sue, girl.

[00:29:31] You know, whereas with Bowie Jane, Sari and Felicia, they both up there.

[00:29:35] Literal grandmas are up there being like, she older than us.

[00:29:39] Girl, chill.

[00:29:40] I was like, all right, all right.

[00:29:41] Calm down.

[00:29:41] The chat is talking about that they can't believe that Sam is only 24 and is six years

[00:29:47] younger than Andy.

[00:29:49] I was at a watch party for the first time.

[00:29:51] I told you this.

[00:29:52] I was going to round to the bar in Dallas for a watch party that was being hosted.

[00:29:59] And I think they're going to do a lot more of those in the Dallas area.

[00:30:02] So if you're in the Dallas area, go check that out.

[00:30:04] That's my shameless plug for that because they were very kind.

[00:30:06] But we went to go watch it.

[00:30:08] And there was a moment where Teenie was talking about Teenie's journey.

[00:30:11] And someone goes, see, that's why you don't play Survivor at 22 years old.

[00:30:15] I said, Sam's 24.

[00:30:16] And everybody gasped.

[00:30:18] Like, oh my God.

[00:30:20] He has a certain level of maturity about himself.

[00:30:23] And again, that's another thing that can make you look like a threat.

[00:30:26] Where people come around and they look at you as the jock who is mature, who is a shiny

[00:30:31] person, as Shannon would say.

[00:30:33] And that's not his fault.

[00:30:34] That's just who he is.

[00:30:35] Now he has to figure out how to navigate that.

[00:30:37] And it would have been nice if he could have won a couple of immunities.

[00:30:39] He would have made it to the end and probably won.

[00:31:37] Chappelle, this cast is a lot different than the Survivor 46 cast, where it seems like that

[00:31:45] this cast, this is for the most part a real love fest coming out of the show.

[00:31:51] I don't believe it.

[00:31:52] I don't believe it.

[00:31:53] I don't believe it.

[00:31:54] Nope, nope, nope.

[00:31:55] Okay.

[00:31:55] Well, that in addition to, you know, all sorts of fun stuff that they were in Los Angeles,

[00:32:01] a big chunk of the cast went to go to Universal Studios and were hanging out, doing all sorts

[00:32:12] of fun amusement park things.

[00:32:14] That sounds like fun.

[00:32:15] Was it everybody?

[00:32:16] I'm not sure.

[00:32:17] I don't have a full census here, but let me bring in some social media.

[00:32:23] And this is Anika shared some TikToks of the whole group.

[00:32:27] And so here's the Survivor 47 cast going on a roller coaster.

[00:32:34] Okay.

[00:32:34] A roller coaster ride of the season.

[00:32:36] But I see here is Teenie.

[00:32:38] Here's Gabe.

[00:32:40] Here's Andy.

[00:32:40] Looks like Genevieve is in the back.

[00:32:42] Is that Caroline?

[00:32:43] But there's Anika in the front.

[00:32:47] So here they go.

[00:32:48] And there's Rachel.

[00:32:51] We are over.

[00:32:51] We're stuck.

[00:32:53] Uh-oh.

[00:32:53] They got stuck.

[00:32:54] And then here they are on the roll with.

[00:32:58] Are you a roller coaster guy?

[00:33:01] No, absolutely not.

[00:33:02] You could never.

[00:33:03] I have been on roller coasters.

[00:33:05] And every time afterwards, I'm like, and y'all do this for fun?

[00:33:07] Y'all need to be in prison.

[00:33:09] I'm the person who goes to the amusement park and I just eat everything.

[00:33:13] I'm there just like sitting around funnel cakes and fried Oreos, all kinds of whatever

[00:33:18] it is.

[00:33:18] You deep fry it and give it to me.

[00:33:20] But I'm not getting on one of these fries now.

[00:33:21] Yeah.

[00:33:21] So they go on this, uh, the roller coaster, but then I'm like, I don't know if these are

[00:33:27] like filled with like some random people also, or I don't know if these are like their friends

[00:33:31] and spouses and stuff like that.

[00:33:32] Probably the spouses.

[00:33:33] You think it's spouses?

[00:33:34] You don't think they're on any rides with, I imagine you guys should go to like, uh,

[00:33:37] uh, universal studios and it's like, okay, uh, we need two more people to go in this car.

[00:33:43] Like, Oh, here's the entire cast of survivor 47.

[00:33:47] If I just watched this show and I see the cast of survivor 47 and you see like Saul and

[00:33:52] Asia in the back row and there's one speak I'm, I'm like hurtling over everybody to get

[00:33:55] there.

[00:33:56] That's my turn.

[00:33:57] And I just said, I wasn't getting on a roller coaster, but look, crazy things have happened.

[00:34:01] Okay.

[00:34:02] I didn't see everybody though, Rob.

[00:34:03] I'm just saying like that it's giving kumbaya on the outside, but internally, you know what

[00:34:12] Rob, you're right.

[00:34:13] I do need to host this after show, uh, this reunion.

[00:34:16] Cause, uh, maybe I set up a zoom because I got to get down to this.

[00:34:19] My investigative journalism, uh, you know, is kicking in and I'm like, Kishan, where you

[00:34:24] at?

[00:34:25] Kishan, talk to me.

[00:34:27] Well, I don't think everybody went to the, uh, live, uh, or they, they had a party with

[00:34:32] the producers to just screen the episode, but I don't think everybody went.

[00:34:36] I feel like it's in that contract that they got to go.

[00:34:38] I made that up by the way.

[00:34:39] I think, yeah, I don't think it's like when they used to televise it.

[00:34:42] I think they invite people.

[00:34:44] Remember how it used to be in that contract though?

[00:34:45] Like you had to come to the reunion.

[00:34:47] Yeah.

[00:34:47] Uh, yeah.

[00:34:48] I'm like, what if you had to come?

[00:34:50] What if, where y'all at?

[00:34:51] I got questions.

[00:34:52] I didn't see Rome in the background.

[00:34:54] No surprise there.

[00:34:55] I'm looking, I'm looking, I'm looking trying to get the dirt.

[00:34:57] Okay.

[00:34:58] Asia blocked me.

[00:34:59] Cause I text her like, Hey, tell me everything.

[00:35:00] She blocked me, but she don't block me.

[00:35:02] I think I may be, I don't know.

[00:35:03] And, uh, so yeah, yeah.

[00:35:05] I think next, next season 48, I'm on the case.

[00:35:08] Okay.

[00:35:08] I'm going to, I'm checking lists and everything as they say, I'm coming, I'm coming in with

[00:35:12] the facts.

[00:35:13] Yeah.

[00:35:13] You could be like paparazzi and just like go out and like, uh, try to get the answers

[00:35:16] out in the field.

[00:35:18] Right.

[00:35:18] Right.

[00:35:19] Genevieve, Genevieve, Genevieve.

[00:35:20] Can I, can I ask you a question real quick, real quick.

[00:35:22] Genevieve, Genevieve.

[00:35:22] Yeah.

[00:35:23] Um, tell me more about, and it's just like, no, no answers.

[00:35:27] No question.

[00:35:27] No questions.

[00:35:27] I was like, like I'm taking all the photos.

[00:35:29] This is why does it take so long for us to get here?

[00:35:32] I should have been doing this for RHMP.

[00:35:33] Yeah.

[00:35:34] Been TMZ.

[00:35:35] Yeah.

[00:35:36] I can do it.

[00:35:37] I got it.

[00:35:37] Watch.

[00:35:38] Okay.

[00:35:38] See next season that guy with the beard.

[00:35:40] I'm going to have all the answers.

[00:35:41] You're going to know everything finally.

[00:35:43] Okay.

[00:35:43] Then it was talked about in the show that Rachel and Genevieve were like Voldemort and Harry

[00:35:52] Potter.

[00:35:53] Okay.

[00:35:53] And so Anika took it on herself over on TikTok to put our Survivor 47 cast into Harry Potter

[00:36:04] houses.

[00:36:05] Now, Chappelle, you're a big Potter guy, right?

[00:36:08] Mm.

[00:36:09] Former, former Potter guy.

[00:36:10] I read all the books several times.

[00:36:12] And then in recent years, I'm just like, lady, stop asking for so much money.

[00:36:16] This lady's a billionaire and she act like a poor person.

[00:36:18] Like stop begging.

[00:36:19] Every time I look up as another damn show.

[00:36:21] So JK Rowling.

[00:36:22] Yeah.

[00:36:23] Her.

[00:36:23] I don't, I don't, I don't like her.

[00:36:25] Um, and so no, uh, she's left me a long time ago, but I do have fond memories of the past

[00:36:29] when I was a Potter boy.

[00:36:30] I just, it's ghetto now.

[00:36:32] Very ghetto.

[00:36:33] Please release yourself.

[00:36:34] Okay.

[00:36:34] All right.

[00:36:34] So here we go.

[00:36:35] Here is, we have Rachel and let me see if I can do this.

[00:36:39] Uh, Rachel is here in the Gryffindor colors here at the, uh, wizarding world of Harry

[00:36:45] Potter.

[00:36:46] Yeah.

[00:36:47] Yeah.

[00:36:47] Look at her.

[00:36:48] Uh, I've never been to the one at universal.

[00:36:50] So, uh, yeah.

[00:36:51] Look at that.

[00:36:52] So when the last time I went to universal, my kids were too small.

[00:36:56] So I, we walked through it certainly, and it looks cool, but we didn't go on any of the

[00:37:01] rides or experiences there.

[00:37:03] Yeah.

[00:37:04] Okay, cool.

[00:37:05] Well, I would, I would love to like experience it, but again, I just don't, I don't need no

[00:37:09] more Harry Potter TV shows and video games.

[00:37:11] Like it's too much.

[00:37:12] Okay.

[00:37:13] Chappelle, do you sign off on Rachel Gryffindor?

[00:37:17] Yeah.

[00:37:18] Yeah.

[00:37:18] Uh, well maybe.

[00:37:19] Right.

[00:37:19] So Rachel is very clearly the hero of the season, but I think her puzzle prowess really kind

[00:37:24] of got me looking at the Ravenclaws, you know, they're, they're normally, and she's got glasses

[00:37:28] on, you know, like, you know, so it's like, she might be a Ravenclaw.

[00:37:31] She seems like a brain, but she was giving Gryffindor as far as her art goes, you know, like

[00:37:35] they tried to get her out, but just the hero story was just too strong with Rachel.

[00:37:39] So I sign off on this for sure.

[00:37:40] Okay.

[00:37:40] All right.

[00:37:41] Then next up.

[00:37:42] Okay.

[00:37:42] Slytherin.

[00:37:43] Okay.

[00:37:44] Genevieve.

[00:37:45] She could be one of us.

[00:37:47] She can come sit with the cool kids.

[00:37:48] Yeah.

[00:37:48] That's cool.

[00:37:49] It's all good.

[00:37:50] We will come on, come on to the villain side.

[00:37:52] That's where we'd be at.

[00:37:53] All Slytherin are not a created equal.

[00:37:56] We ain't all villains.

[00:37:57] It's just, you know, the popular ones were villains.

[00:38:00] So Genevieve is wearing their colors.

[00:38:02] Genevieve is dressed apart.

[00:38:04] She's literally wearing the sweater.

[00:38:05] I think her and Rachel were under the premise that we're going to Universal and we're going

[00:38:09] to Harry Potter world.

[00:38:10] Okay.

[00:38:10] All right.

[00:38:11] Next up.

[00:38:13] All right.

[00:38:14] Next up is Teenie the Hufflepuff.

[00:38:18] Facts.

[00:38:18] Big old facts.

[00:38:20] Social, a social threat.

[00:38:22] You know, I could see it, right?

[00:38:24] I could see it all over Teenie.

[00:38:26] Also, this is a dope hat, Teenie.

[00:38:27] I like that.

[00:38:28] Okay.

[00:38:28] Now that's not a Harry Potter hat, right?

[00:38:31] I don't think so, but it could be.

[00:38:32] Just a cold hat.

[00:38:33] Okay.

[00:38:34] All right.

[00:38:34] Next, we have the Slytherin, Andy.

[00:38:39] Hmm.

[00:38:39] Now, baby Andy.

[00:38:41] Could he sit with us?

[00:38:43] There were some villainous moments.

[00:38:45] There were some villainous moments, but I don't know.

[00:38:48] Andy's like, he's like, it's the strategy part that makes Andy fun.

[00:38:51] And even just the personality type.

[00:38:53] It's like, I'm somewhere between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw for Andy.

[00:38:57] Like, I don't want Andy to get overwhelmed by all the evil people around him in Slytherin.

[00:39:01] Everybody can't hack it.

[00:39:02] Look how he's embracing it.

[00:39:03] He trying, but you know, it's giving Hufflepuff trying to be one of us.

[00:39:07] You know, Ravenclaw trying to be one of us.

[00:39:09] That's all I'm saying.

[00:39:10] Okay.

[00:39:10] All right.

[00:39:11] Then we get after Andy Slytherin.

[00:39:15] Okay.

[00:39:15] All right.

[00:39:16] Here is our Gryffindor Caroline.

[00:39:20] I'm okay with that.

[00:39:21] Caroline.

[00:39:21] Not Ravenclaw?

[00:39:22] I could see it too, but I think she was more, she's so warm.

[00:39:25] I could even see like as a Hufflepuff, you know, like the cheerleading side of her, you

[00:39:30] know, where she's like, you go Sue, you go Andy.

[00:39:32] Like, that's a great job.

[00:39:33] Like she was just everybody's biggest hype man.

[00:39:36] Gryffindors are normally a little bit more self-centered when it comes to like their own,

[00:39:39] you know, self-image.

[00:39:40] So I would probably say maybe like Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.

[00:39:43] Who's making these calls?

[00:39:44] Do they take a test or is this an on a gun?

[00:39:47] They might've just named themselves, honestly.

[00:39:49] I mean, like, look, you know, I don't really know who, if anybody's wearing a sorting hat

[00:39:54] or if they have one at Universal Studios, but maybe they took a test.

[00:40:00] Maybe they went to the old website.

[00:40:02] Tini didn't have the sorting hat?

[00:40:03] Tini didn't need the sorting hat.

[00:40:04] It's like, the sorting hat barely touches some people and it's like, yeah, we got you.

[00:40:08] I think the sorting hat took one look at Tini and said, you know where to go.

[00:40:11] Okay.

[00:40:12] All right.

[00:40:12] Then we got, okay, Sierra Hufflepuff.

[00:40:17] If she say so, you know, I look, I look.

[00:40:20] She didn't want to kill the chickens.

[00:40:22] She didn't want to kill the chicken.

[00:40:23] She didn't want to kill the chicken.

[00:40:25] Man, Sierra was one of the few people who understood the assignment when it came to these

[00:40:28] jury outfits.

[00:40:29] The rest of them was, hey, Sierra, Saul sometimes.

[00:40:33] I'll give Caroline some too, but some of them was given a little mid.

[00:40:37] That's all.

[00:40:38] Okay.

[00:40:38] Well, why?

[00:40:40] Who was mid on the jury?

[00:40:41] Just dress up.

[00:40:42] Come on, man.

[00:40:42] All these damn Hawaiian shirts.

[00:40:44] Gabe, what are you doing?

[00:40:45] You know, Kyle.

[00:40:47] I thought Genevieve, Genevieve, this was supposed to be your episode.

[00:40:50] This was supposed to be your interest.

[00:40:52] Genevieve voted out.

[00:40:53] It's like, she might've been down, not feeling like it.

[00:40:57] You're supposed to, you listen, as far as I'm concerned, it's the final tribal council.

[00:41:02] It's your last chance to really impact the season before your vote.

[00:41:04] Like you need, you want the camera jetting over to you.

[00:41:07] You're supposed to walk in and people go, oh, Genevieve.

[00:41:11] And you're like, like, Roxanne.

[00:41:14] Like you're supposed to, you know.

[00:41:15] Well, you know, Sam, maybe see if you, let's put a pin in that.

[00:41:19] Let's see if we can, let's come back to that and see if we can find a picture of the final

[00:41:22] tribal council and just finish up these Harry Potter houses.

[00:41:26] Yeah, bring in rice.

[00:41:26] All right.

[00:41:27] Gabe is Slytherin.

[00:41:30] Okay.

[00:41:31] Yeah.

[00:41:31] Who, who, who better than a Slytherin to come in and say, you know, I think Russell

[00:41:35] Hans is misunderstood.

[00:41:36] You know, I think, uh, I think that's pretty spot on.

[00:41:39] Okay.

[00:41:40] Uh, and then finally, Anika.

[00:41:45] Ravenclaw.

[00:41:46] Ravenclaw for Anika.

[00:41:47] Okay.

[00:41:47] I could see that.

[00:41:48] I also could see Slytherin, you know, I would, I would be, I would welcome Anika to the club.

[00:41:53] Um, cause that reaction when she got voted out was like, excuse me, Avada and cadaver,

[00:41:58] all of this stuff, you know?

[00:41:59] So yeah.

[00:42:00] Um, this was fun.

[00:42:01] I like this.

[00:42:02] Um, is she, is she the last one on our list?

[00:42:04] I think so.

[00:42:05] Uh, it looks like, uh, I don't think Sam made the cut.

[00:42:08] I don't know if he, if he was still, I don't know if he went to universal.

[00:42:11] I didn't see Asia universal.

[00:42:14] Right.

[00:42:14] Yeah.

[00:42:15] That's what I'm saying.

[00:42:15] Like, look, I know it's giving kumbaya, but I don't know.

[00:42:19] I don't know.

[00:42:19] Everybody didn't want to go see it.

[00:42:21] I don't know.

[00:42:21] Um, also since we're talking about sorting people, uh, I put in the private chat for Sam,

[00:42:27] the EW article from, uh, I believe it was the final four speak.

[00:42:34] Yes.

[00:42:34] Um, and it gave a lot of good information about, uh, the, you know, where the tribes,

[00:42:39] uh, were standing.

[00:42:41] Um, but if you could do me a favor and just scroll on down.

[00:42:46] Um, yeah.

[00:42:48] Yeah.

[00:42:48] What do you want to see?

[00:42:49] Uh, after it says, what was your favorite non-game related interaction?

[00:42:53] So there's a subheading that says, what is your favorite game?

[00:42:57] Uh, uh, non-game interaction.

[00:42:58] I want to key in on Sam, uh, not our Sam, but our Sam.

[00:43:03] Right.

[00:43:03] Um, and if you could just go there, uh, because I thought there was something very interesting

[00:43:08] that, uh, kind of falls in line with us sorting these people into different houses.

[00:43:12] All right.

[00:43:12] What was your favorite non-game interaction?

[00:43:14] Uh, Sam tells us it's not a specific moment, but the most fun I had out there was hanging

[00:43:19] out with Genevieve giggling about how everyone was targeting us and we were doomed.

[00:43:23] We just talked about the Enneagram and food and whatever.

[00:43:26] And I had a lot of joyful days.

[00:43:27] Thanks to her.

[00:43:29] Yeah.

[00:43:29] Look, I might not know everything about Harry Potter anymore.

[00:43:33] Cause like I said, I stepped away from it for my own health.

[00:43:35] Um, and just cause I was annoyed with that lady, but, uh, I know the Enneagram pretty

[00:43:39] well.

[00:43:40] And I was very excited to see that Sam and Genevieve were talking about it because then

[00:43:43] that kind of lets me in on, uh, their personality type a little bit.

[00:43:46] Um, and so I now know a few of the, the cast Enneagram types, uh, Asia, of course, being

[00:43:53] a seven like myself, which is why she was robbed obviously.

[00:43:56] Um, but I did, I thought it was very funny that, uh, Sam and Genevieve were sitting around

[00:44:00] and talking about it because Sam is like, he's your textbook three.

[00:44:04] He, he, that is it.

[00:44:05] That is what he did.

[00:44:06] Did you pick up on that?

[00:44:07] I did not.

[00:44:09] Like learn what everybody else's Enneagram is?

[00:44:12] No, Sam is hyper competitive and image driven, you know, uh, like the threes we've talked

[00:44:17] about in the past, uh, you know, like, uh, you know, the extreme example, Michael Jordan,

[00:44:21] you know, somebody who just like, I'm here to win.

[00:44:23] Uh, other, other example I've used in the past to talk about like Taylor Swift, somebody

[00:44:27] who was like very image conscious, uh, you know, but like very productive, always trying

[00:44:33] to look a certain way in front of everybody because they like to be admired and they like

[00:44:37] to be viewed and like as, uh, as, uh, admirable, I guess.

[00:44:41] Uh, and so, uh, seeing Sam talk about, I guess he, the question he answered in the final tribal

[00:44:46] council was very, uh, introspective, I think from him because they say, well, you know,

[00:44:50] what do you hope, what do you think your legacy is going to be of your survivor game or whatever?

[00:44:55] And he's like, yeah, I care what people think about my survivor game.

[00:44:58] I want it to be admired.

[00:44:59] And I was like three, ring the bell.

[00:45:00] Bing, bing, bing, bing, bing.

[00:45:01] So I was very excited to hear that.

[00:45:03] And, uh, so I did some digging.

[00:45:05] Yeah.

[00:45:05] I was like, well, since Genevieve has been talking about it, uh, I wonder what she identifies

[00:45:10] as on the Enneagram scale.

[00:45:11] And she is a five.

[00:45:13] Five.

[00:45:14] Okay.

[00:45:15] Yeah.

[00:45:15] And I love a good five because we don't see a lot of them because they'd be ducked off.

[00:45:18] They'd be quiet.

[00:45:19] Uh, and it, and it kind of rings true to Genevieve as we saw in the game.

[00:45:22] Maybe back up for one second, because I know that everybody, uh, or many people know of

[00:45:26] your affinity for the Enneagram, but in case any people don't know what we're talking about,

[00:45:31] can you just give a quick, uh, like 30 seconds of what the Enneagram is?

[00:45:35] Yeah, sure.

[00:45:36] It's just a personality assessment, uh, that is very similar to like Myers-Briggs or, you

[00:45:41] know, I guess the sorting hat, if you will, uh, where it's, uh, it divides, uh, personality

[00:45:45] types into nine different types.

[00:45:47] And then you go in, you read the type description, or you take a test, I guess, if you want to,

[00:45:50] but you go and find out which description fits you and your motivations.

[00:45:54] And it kind of dictates, well, it kind of indicates, you know, uh, how you, uh, approach

[00:45:58] life, you know, what, uh, how your motivations, uh, dictate your, uh, your characteristics about

[00:46:04] yourself, your behaviors and your personality.

[00:46:06] And so that's how it works.

[00:46:07] So Enneagram is based on like your internal motivation and how that externally exudes

[00:46:10] itself.

[00:46:11] Uh, and so, uh, for them to be talking about it, I was like, okay, cool.

[00:46:14] Because it tells you a lot about how a person perceives themselves, right?

[00:46:18] Their own self-perception as a, as a player, or even, uh, as just a character or a game or

[00:46:23] a person in the game.

[00:46:24] And so seeing, uh, that Genevieve was identifying as a five on the Enneagram type, they're called

[00:46:28] the investigators.

[00:46:29] They're normally not very, uh, um, warm and cuddly types because they're more subreval,

[00:46:35] right?

[00:46:35] They're thinkers.

[00:46:36] Uh, they're normally here to investigate and get as much information as possible before

[00:46:40] making decisions.

[00:46:41] Um, but they come off a little prickly because emotions take a lot of energy and fives don't

[00:46:45] have time for that.

[00:46:46] So they put emotions to the side for the, for the time being, they think first and then

[00:46:51] they will feel about what they think.

[00:46:53] And so I think Genevieve is one of those characters that throughout we saw her really

[00:46:57] struggling with the emotional side of survivors.

[00:46:58] She's like, oh man, I'm still mad about this.

[00:47:00] This Kishon thing is like, I just can't get it off my back.

[00:47:03] I can't stop thinking about it.

[00:47:04] Uh, and also people were not able to get close to her.

[00:47:07] That is the hallmark of a five is that they do really well at keeping people kind of at

[00:47:12] arm's length because people take energy and ain't got that.

[00:47:15] They, they need to be thinking and investigating and gathering knowledge.

[00:47:19] That's how they kind of get off.

[00:47:20] People are exhausting to them.

[00:47:22] And so I was not shocked when Genevieve said she's a five, because if you track the things

[00:47:25] that she's been saying throughout the season, it kind of goes along the lines with that.

[00:47:28] So that's how it goes.

[00:47:29] Okay.

[00:47:29] What about the rest of the cast?

[00:47:31] Have you figured out Rachel?

[00:47:33] No, I asked Asia and she wouldn't go investigate for me.

[00:47:36] I told you, I need to get, look, I need to get on the case.

[00:47:39] Okay.

[00:47:39] But in your amateur opinion, do you see anything that's pointing you in one direction or another?

[00:47:45] The problem with Rachel is that, and I think that, I think about episode four of Club Condo,

[00:47:50] we had our first guest.

[00:47:51] It was Taron Armstrong.

[00:47:53] And he said, I don't know who Rachel is.

[00:47:55] And I don't think nothing.

[00:47:56] I don't think that's changed.

[00:47:57] I don't think the show gave us a lot of personal content about Rachel.

[00:48:01] In the final travel council, she mentions her husband.

[00:48:03] I was like, she married?

[00:48:03] You know, it never came up.

[00:48:05] You know, we never heard anything about her that would really lead me to-

[00:48:09] I didn't know what her job was going into the finale.

[00:48:11] We talked about it last week.

[00:48:13] Yeah.

[00:48:13] I didn't understand her because I didn't see her.

[00:48:15] Right?

[00:48:15] We all, like you said, I think you said it best to maybe like Adam Klein.

[00:48:19] Like the Rachel game is not something where people are going to be able to say, oh,

[00:48:22] I want to play like Rachel.

[00:48:23] It's like, it's hard to do.

[00:48:24] Like you want to win a bunch of challenges, find a bunch of idols, find a bunch of advantages.

[00:48:27] Like that's, that's tough.

[00:48:29] But because it's hard.

[00:48:31] Everybody wants to do those things.

[00:48:32] We don't really know a lot of Rachel's motivation in the game.

[00:48:35] She wasn't, she wasn't given that kind of personal content.

[00:48:38] So it's hard for me to guess.

[00:48:40] But she did seem like she was, you know, pretty cerebral, maybe a little decisive as well.

[00:48:46] She didn't get in a lot of conflict.

[00:48:48] Maybe like a nine or something.

[00:48:50] Maybe, you know, nines are kind of peacemakers.

[00:48:52] They're able to, you know, get along with everybody.

[00:48:53] We saw her aligned with pretty much everybody in the game at one point or another.

[00:48:57] So there's stuff like that that could, you know, help you kind of read into the characters.

[00:49:02] But again, the Enneagram is not something that's like lends itself to being able to watch it on

[00:49:06] television and 30 minutes first and say, oh, that's what you are.

[00:49:09] You kind of have to self-identify.

[00:49:10] And so I would love the opportunity to quiz all these people.

[00:49:13] I'm like, so what do you think?

[00:49:14] So are you familiar with this?

[00:49:16] You want to talk about it?

[00:49:16] I'm putting this on my after show questionnaire.

[00:49:19] But real quick, teeny should be pretty easy to diagnose, right?

[00:49:24] Oh, well, what do you think?

[00:49:27] Four?

[00:49:28] Yeah, I think that wouldn't be awful.

[00:49:30] I think I think that would probably be something that I would consider for teeny for sure.

[00:49:34] Teeny fours are typically emotional.

[00:49:36] They're bleeding hearts a lot of times as far as like they like, but they feel their own emotions,

[00:49:40] right?

[00:49:41] They're very self-centered and very self-aware of their their emotion and how they're feeling

[00:49:46] and how they present themselves in the world.

[00:49:48] And they're used to being unique and they kind of wear it as a badge of honor.

[00:49:51] It's like they want everybody to know that they're different.

[00:49:53] So a lot of times they look different.

[00:49:54] A lot of times they're artistic or they have other ways of expressing all these deep feelings

[00:49:59] of emotion.

[00:49:59] But they're also a roller coaster emotion.

[00:50:01] They can feel very happy, very sad.

[00:50:04] You know, they have different range of emotions that I could never understand, honestly.

[00:50:08] And I think that that wouldn't be so far off base.

[00:50:11] Also, Teeny's very social.

[00:50:12] I could see maybe two as well.

[00:50:14] But it does feel like we're somewhere in the feeling types when it comes to Teeny.

[00:50:18] But again, it's not a science.

[00:50:21] First of all, it's not a science at all.

[00:50:22] But also, it's not something that's really easy to tell on television because people

[00:50:26] act differently on Survivor than they do in real life.

[00:50:29] Rob, if anybody had watched your game on Survivor, I think they would have been giving

[00:50:32] you big three energy as well when it comes to your ability to navigate the game, your

[00:50:38] ability to kind of take initiative in the game as well.

[00:50:41] But you're not a three.

[00:50:43] Um, no, uh, not.

[00:50:46] I mean, from what I understand about the Enneagram, uh, sometimes I can be.

[00:50:52] Yeah, you can give those big three traits, but you are definitely a nine, right?

[00:50:55] You're a peacemaker and you can get along with everybody.

[00:50:57] And we saw that in the game.

[00:50:59] You had an alliance of these people and you decided, no, I want to align with those

[00:51:02] people.

[00:51:03] And you did.

[00:51:03] And you were able to even go back and align with the people you had quit on before

[00:51:07] because you're just so good at mending fences and, uh, kind of playing the middle.

[00:51:12] And I think Rachel was able to do that as well.

[00:51:14] And, uh, when it's time to compete at the end, uh, you know, you just narrowly missed that

[00:51:18] spot, but there was a good opportunity for you to get there.

[00:51:21] And I think people would have been looking at you as like, oh yeah, that's probably like

[00:51:24] a three.

[00:51:24] But, uh, think again, it comes down to motivation and not actions.

[00:51:27] What is, uh, driving you to act the way you, uh, you, uh, are is more of the Enneagram

[00:51:32] than what you actually do because who wouldn't want to win survivor?

[00:51:35] Who doesn't want to win challenges?

[00:51:37] Like everybody wants to do that.

[00:51:38] So it's like, those things don't set you aside.

[00:51:41] I would love to talk to Rachel about it.

[00:51:42] Maybe in your deep dive, you could just throw it out there like beforehand.

[00:51:45] Like, have you ever heard of this?

[00:51:46] And then, uh, and then I'll take it from there.

[00:51:48] Okay.

[00:51:49] All right.

[00:51:49] Chappelle, I want to, uh, just throw back to, you know, in RHAPs,

[00:51:54] circles in our own little world, you know, this was a big week for one of our friends,

[00:51:59] Shannon Gus, who managed to win the podcaster draft for the first time ever.

[00:52:09] Very impressive.

[00:52:10] So if people wanted more information on the Enneagram, we did do that podcast about it.

[00:52:14] Um, and we've re-released it as well on recapkickback.com.

[00:52:18] You can go to our YouTube page, youtube.com slash at recapkickback and scroll down to the

[00:52:21] bottom.

[00:52:21] There is a podcast where I talked to Rob about Survivor and Enneagram.

[00:52:25] You can check that out.

[00:52:25] Yeah.

[00:52:26] So Shannon posted a video of her celebrating a day in the life as the winner of the draft.

[00:52:36] And I'm not going to play the song because, uh, that we're going to get copyright, uh,

[00:52:41] flagged, but here is Shannon celebrating her big win in the, in the draft, waking up

[00:52:50] fully dressed, putting on a tiara, dancing.

[00:52:56] What I want you've got, right?

[00:53:01] Yeah.

[00:53:02] Uh, so yeah, she's dancing in her car.

[00:53:07] What, Peter, what a guy, uh, filming this.

[00:53:13] Incredible.

[00:53:14] You're speechless.

[00:53:16] I have no words.

[00:53:18] Um, Shannon, Enneagram three, check it out.

[00:53:23] Yeah.

[00:53:24] Uh, so does Shannon become the seventh draft winner in seven seasons?

[00:53:29] She is.

[00:53:30] And that's a statistical anomaly from what I understand.

[00:53:32] I think a lot of the stuff that's been going on with the RTP draft is a statistical anomaly.

[00:53:36] Yeah.

[00:53:37] Pretty interesting.

[00:53:37] You know, yeah.

[00:53:38] The Marianne grenade thing, uh, only the second year that we did the draft and now Shannon being

[00:53:44] seven of seven.

[00:53:45] Um, you know, it's, it's crazy.

[00:53:48] Um, I wish I could say I was happy for her.

[00:53:52] Yeah.

[00:53:53] Yeah.

[00:53:54] That's it.

[00:53:54] That's all I got.

[00:53:55] Mm hmm.

[00:53:56] Okay.

[00:53:56] All right.

[00:53:57] So let's see, what else, uh, do we take away from, uh, this big.

[00:54:03] Oh, I'm sorry.

[00:54:04] Yes.

[00:54:05] Seven of six.

[00:54:05] I see the correction.

[00:54:07] She is, you technically were not in the draft.

[00:54:09] Uh, so she is seven of six, which is crazy, but you go Shannon.

[00:54:13] I'm sure we'll have to hear about the average draft placement, uh, next year.

[00:54:17] Um, Asia, please come back.

[00:54:18] Save me.

[00:54:19] Mm hmm.

[00:54:20] Okay.

[00:54:21] All right.

[00:54:22] Kyle weighed in.

[00:54:23] He was the only vote that didn't vote for Rachel.

[00:54:27] And so he took to social media to explain his vote.

[00:54:31] Kyle.

[00:54:32] What do you, have you seen this before?

[00:54:33] Have you seen this one?

[00:54:34] No.

[00:54:34] Okay.

[00:54:35] All right.

[00:54:35] Kyle explains, uh, why he was not a vote for Rachel.

[00:54:41] Okay.

[00:54:42] And obviously you've seen the finale and I'm going to give you some insider because you

[00:54:47] deserve it for being a badass.

[00:54:49] You want to know why I voted for Sam?

[00:54:52] Because I knew everybody was voting for Rachel.

[00:54:55] That's as clean cut as I could put it for you.

[00:54:58] I didn't feel like Sam was a third.

[00:55:00] Is this a live here that he's doing?

[00:55:03] It looks like a cameo.

[00:55:04] Yeah.

[00:55:04] He, oh, he thought this is a cameo.

[00:55:06] Yeah.

[00:55:06] It was like a cameo.

[00:55:07] All right.

[00:55:09] Vote finalist with, with Sue.

[00:55:11] I didn't, I don't believe that they played the same game.

[00:55:15] I believe that Sam deserved a second place.

[00:55:17] And if I can single handedly take money from one man's pocket and put it into another man's

[00:55:24] pocket and have, have no sweat myself.

[00:55:28] I'm going to do it because I'm not in this just for myself.

[00:55:32] Right.

[00:55:33] We're in.

[00:55:33] What'd you say?

[00:55:34] Why does he, why did he say it like that?

[00:55:37] If I could single handedly snatch money from one person and give it to somebody else.

[00:55:41] Kyle, I thought you did this because you wanted Sam to win second.

[00:55:44] It sounds like you did this because you wanted Sue to win third.

[00:55:47] Yeah.

[00:55:47] I think that's what he's saying.

[00:55:48] No, I thought he was presenting it.

[00:55:50] Like I thought Sam played a second place game.

[00:55:52] Let him cook.

[00:55:54] For Sam.

[00:55:55] This for family.

[00:55:56] We're in this for friends.

[00:55:57] And Sam was a friend to me.

[00:55:59] Rachel was a friend to me.

[00:56:00] In my opinion, Rachel deserved that win.

[00:56:03] Every step of the way.

[00:56:04] She is a badass.

[00:56:07] I love her.

[00:56:09] But I also believe that Sam deserves second place.

[00:56:13] And I was willing to be the person to give it to him.

[00:56:16] So I read the room and I honestly felt like I did what was right.

[00:56:22] And that's what I do to the best of my ability.

[00:56:25] It doesn't mean we're always right, but we tried.

[00:56:29] That's what matters.

[00:56:30] And that's what you're going to continue to do, Kyle Wren.

[00:56:32] So listen.

[00:56:36] Shout out to Kyle Wren.

[00:56:39] Yeah.

[00:56:40] Badass.

[00:56:40] How about that?

[00:56:42] I thought that in the moment when Kyle was asked the question, I thought he explained it pretty concisely.

[00:56:49] And it goes along with what he's saying right now is, I really like Sam.

[00:56:54] That's it.

[00:56:54] I voted for Sam because I really liked him.

[00:56:57] He said he meant a lot to me in the game.

[00:57:02] And I will never forget the way Sam impacted my life.

[00:57:05] Thus, I voted for him.

[00:57:06] And I don't think that there's a problem with that at all.

[00:57:10] I think when we talk about jury management and we talk about people who play a social game in order to get votes, I think that in those moments we're talking about people who connect with people at the endgame.

[00:57:20] There's a reason why, despite Teenie never being correct in this game at all, except for maybe episode one when Teenie was trying to take care of Asia.

[00:57:26] But despite that, people were still talking about Teenie as a jury threat even up to the last five episodes, which is crazy.

[00:57:34] But it's because deep connection with people matter.

[00:57:38] And so I don't have any issue with that at all.

[00:57:41] Rachel is not.

[00:57:42] Rachel won.

[00:57:43] She's not entitled to win unanimously just because we want her to win unanimously.

[00:57:48] Sam has done a lot of good work.

[00:57:50] People were saying Sam was putting up a good fight.

[00:57:52] And if Kyle liked Sam enough to give him a vote, that's the case.

[00:57:55] I was shocked that people didn't give Sue a pity vote.

[00:57:58] I thought Caroline for sure would have at least threw a girl a bone, you know.

[00:58:01] And so I think that's for people to parse with and decide on their own merit.

[00:58:07] Like, what does it mean to you to show you some love in the game?

[00:58:09] And if you know they're going to tie and you want one person to win over the other, that's fine.

[00:58:14] I think that the intention for me is the issue.

[00:58:16] That's why I was like, Sam saying, like Kyle saying, and now I understand it differently, but I thought Kyle was saying I wanted Sue to get third place.

[00:58:23] Like, I wanted to make sure.

[00:58:24] We've seen that before, too.

[00:58:25] For the record, Sue says her and Kyle are good.

[00:58:28] I had a nice chat with Sue the other day.

[00:58:30] I asked her about, like, Sue, how's everything with you and Kyle?

[00:58:34] She said, I love Kyle.

[00:58:35] Kyle is a good guy.

[00:58:37] I really like Kyle.

[00:58:39] Yeah, I don't think there's any drama there.

[00:58:41] I don't think they had any real beef.

[00:58:42] It's like, it's a game.

[00:58:43] You're trying to beat the next person.

[00:58:45] You got to make them look bad.

[00:58:46] You got to talk a little trash here and there.

[00:58:48] I don't think there was anything personal there at all.

[00:58:51] I was just very confused about the wording Kyle was using.

[00:58:54] He said, if I could take money out of one man's hand and put it in another.

[00:58:56] It's like, whose money are you taking?

[00:58:58] But I guess maybe CBS's.

[00:58:59] So, shout out to Sam and Kyle, for sure.

[00:59:02] For showing some love to your friends.

[00:59:03] Okay.

[00:59:04] I thought this was a fun tweet the other night.

[00:59:09] Rachel Folger Apostle does not often tweet about Survivor,

[00:59:12] but took to social media to say,

[00:59:14] I am for sure one of the top two Rachels to ever play Survivor.

[00:59:19] That part.

[00:59:20] That part.

[00:59:23] Yeah.

[00:59:23] Yeah.

[00:59:24] Rachel.

[00:59:25] It's just not a name that comes up on Survivor a lot.

[00:59:29] Honestly, Sam isn't either.

[00:59:30] We've had Sammy.

[00:59:32] You know, but this is to my knowledge, right?

[00:59:34] First Survivor Sam.

[00:59:35] Yeah.

[00:59:36] Yeah.

[00:59:37] So yeah.

[00:59:37] Sam is one of one.

[00:59:39] Rachel.

[00:59:39] Our new Rachel is one of two.

[00:59:42] And then, of course, Tyson's Rachel number two.

[00:59:45] But, you know, not far off.

[00:59:47] I'm sure Tyson's Rachel could win again in Survivor one day.

[00:59:49] That was my winner pick once upon a time.

[00:59:52] Look, you got taste.

[00:59:53] Look, Tyson.

[00:59:54] It took Tyson three times to win Survivor.

[00:59:58] Give Rachel another shot.

[00:59:59] Bring her back.

[01:00:00] It's almost like we have a monumental 50th season

[01:00:04] where people have been clamoring for this Rachel to come back.

[01:00:06] Oh, there is another Rachel.

[01:00:08] Rachel Akko, right?

[01:00:08] From, is that Millennials vs. Gen X?

[01:00:12] Okay.

[01:00:13] I'm asking you.

[01:00:14] You're the pro.

[01:00:15] Yeah, that's who she's from.

[01:00:17] Yeah.

[01:00:17] Oh, yeah.

[01:00:18] So, dang.

[01:00:19] That's crap.

[01:00:19] Man, Tyson's Rachel's kind of throwing shade.

[01:00:22] She said, look, at least I know I'm a second.

[01:00:24] Yeah.

[01:00:25] Okay.

[01:00:25] Bring them both back.

[01:00:27] Make them team captains.

[01:00:28] Rachel.

[01:00:28] Rachel.

[01:00:30] All right.

[01:00:31] Chappelle, you know, it's the holidays.

[01:00:33] And I was just wondering that should we talk about the holiday gift list

[01:00:40] for these players from Survivor 47 as we start to put Survivor 47

[01:00:45] into the rearview mirror?

[01:00:47] I was wondering if maybe you might be able to play Santa Claus

[01:00:50] and figure out some gifts that we could get for what everybody needs

[01:00:56] from Survivor 47.

[01:00:58] I got you.

[01:00:58] Okay.

[01:00:59] Let's start.

[01:00:59] Who do we start with?

[01:01:00] You want to go through the whole cast?

[01:01:01] Do you want to do 18?

[01:01:02] Yeah, let's do it.

[01:01:02] John Lovett.

[01:01:04] John Lovett.

[01:01:05] What would you bring John Lovett if you have him in the Survivor

[01:01:09] Secret Santa?

[01:01:11] I would give John Lovett a recount.

[01:01:17] I mean, a recount.

[01:01:18] Yes, he definitely could use a recount.

[01:01:21] This was a tough year for John Lovett.

[01:01:23] Tough year for John Lovett.

[01:01:25] Yay.

[01:01:26] Give him peace.

[01:01:27] Peace of mind, you know, because he's been through a lot this year.

[01:01:30] For sure.

[01:01:31] He needs a W.

[01:01:32] Somebody give John Lovett a W.

[01:01:34] Because that's what we really need.

[01:01:35] A W for John Lovett.

[01:01:37] That will take it.

[01:01:38] Okay.

[01:01:38] All right.

[01:01:40] Then we have after TK.

[01:01:45] TK.

[01:01:48] TK.

[01:01:49] He forged his own path.

[01:01:51] Yes.

[01:01:51] Is there anything he could use to forge his own path?

[01:01:54] Well, why did he go home?

[01:01:54] Oh, because he lost and he didn't like that other people were happy about losing.

[01:01:59] Why are you all smiling?

[01:02:00] Why are they all smiling?

[01:02:01] Yeah.

[01:02:01] Yeah.

[01:02:02] I don't know.

[01:02:02] What do you think we could give TK?

[01:02:03] He feels like a guy who's got a lot.

[01:02:05] I think he has it all.

[01:02:07] I'm trying to think.

[01:02:08] They said, I remember he told that one story about all the things he did.

[01:02:12] And he said the Super Bowl was too crowded.

[01:02:15] There's too many people there.

[01:02:17] Yeah.

[01:02:18] Yeah, that's true.

[01:02:20] Does he need a trip to the Super Bowl?

[01:02:21] Can we give TK a trip to the Super Bowl?

[01:02:23] Who was his team?

[01:02:24] Do you remember?

[01:02:25] He said that his loved one, he wanted to be Tyreek Hill.

[01:02:29] But I think he works for the NFL.

[01:02:30] So I don't know if he necessarily needs a trip to the Super Bowl.

[01:02:34] Okay.

[01:02:34] But we can get him like Tyreek Hill.

[01:02:37] We can get him Tyreek Hill as like a cameo.

[01:02:39] A cameo?

[01:02:39] Okay.

[01:02:40] Yeah, a cameo from Tyreek Hill.

[01:02:41] All right.

[01:02:41] What about Asia?

[01:02:42] Our beloved Asia.

[01:02:44] What could we get her?

[01:02:46] We should give Asia a podcast.

[01:02:49] She should talk about the ultimatum here on RJP or Married at First Sight.

[01:02:55] Maybe Love is Blind.

[01:02:57] I feel like there's something in there where Asia just needs-

[01:02:59] That's like when I like, oh, I already have this.

[01:03:02] I have this shirt.

[01:03:03] I already have one of these.

[01:03:05] Yeah.

[01:03:06] Is there anything new we could get Asia to talk about?

[01:03:09] Oh, I'm sure.

[01:03:10] I'm sure there's a wide portfolio of things.

[01:03:13] Yeah.

[01:03:13] Maybe we give Asia, she could be my sidekick on the after show, you know, since she got

[01:03:17] to go round these people up.

[01:03:19] Okay.

[01:03:19] Yeah.

[01:03:20] All right.

[01:03:21] What about Keyshawn?

[01:03:22] What would Keyshawn get besides a bunch of mentions on TV?

[01:03:27] Keyshawn is going to get a handwritten letter from Genevieve.

[01:03:31] Okay.

[01:03:31] Yes.

[01:03:32] I trusted you.

[01:03:33] How could you?

[01:03:33] I'm so sorry.

[01:03:34] I'm so sorry.

[01:03:35] All right.

[01:03:35] What about Anika?

[01:03:38] Ooh.

[01:03:40] Anika.

[01:03:42] Huh.

[01:03:42] I don't know.

[01:03:43] A clothesline.

[01:03:44] No, Anika's had enough of the clothesline.

[01:03:49] Anika has gotten some revenge in this season.

[01:03:52] You know, I think her being Rachel's final, you know, her number one, her original number

[01:03:56] one is very good for her because, I mean, you see your number one going to win the game.

[01:04:00] It's kind of like you won the game too, you know?

[01:04:02] And so let's, let's give Anika, I don't know.

[01:04:07] What does she want?

[01:04:07] It's been so long.

[01:04:08] We didn't get to learn a lot about the players.

[01:04:10] Can you think of anything?

[01:04:12] Maybe she wants a handwritten apology note from Sam.

[01:04:17] Maybe it's a lot of apology notes.

[01:04:18] Yeah.

[01:04:19] So Kimberly says a non clingy and non toxic boyfriend.

[01:04:23] Facts.

[01:04:24] Yeah.

[01:04:24] Let's get her.

[01:04:25] Let's get Anika a better dating profile.

[01:04:27] We're going to spruce it up and she's not going to get these duds.

[01:04:31] Okay.

[01:04:32] And what do we get Rome?

[01:04:34] We're going to get Rome.

[01:04:36] The guy who has everything.

[01:04:38] He has a lot.

[01:04:40] We're going to get him, um, and get him a lawyer.

[01:04:46] Like a gift card.

[01:04:48] Yeah.

[01:04:48] Going to get him a lawyer.

[01:04:51] Got to, I got to look out for my boy.

[01:04:53] Okay.

[01:04:55] Trying to make the block hot.

[01:04:56] I'm trying to, I got you.

[01:04:58] I got you baby.

[01:04:59] I got you back bro.

[01:05:00] Yeah.

[01:05:00] Yeah.

[01:05:00] Just a lawyer on retainer.

[01:05:01] Just in case.

[01:05:02] Yeah.

[01:05:02] And not better call Saul.

[01:05:04] Yeah.

[01:05:05] No, no, no.

[01:05:06] Don't call Saul.

[01:05:08] Do not call Saul.

[01:05:09] Don't call Saul.

[01:05:10] Whatever you do, don't call Saul.

[01:05:12] Yeah.

[01:05:13] Okay.

[01:05:14] All right.

[01:05:14] What about Tiana?

[01:05:17] Man, we need to give Tiana, uh, uh, uh, safety without power.

[01:05:22] Well, that would change the whole thing.

[01:05:25] Yeah.

[01:05:25] I think that's the one thing that was really missing from her game is that if she had to

[01:05:28] safety without power right there, she might, we might have a different winner of the season.

[01:05:32] We would definitely have a different winner of the season.

[01:05:35] Yeah.

[01:05:35] I mean, that was, we didn't realize it at the time, but what a moment.

[01:05:39] Yeah.

[01:05:40] Tough.

[01:05:41] That is tough.

[01:05:42] That's a, would you call it sliding doors or whatever?

[01:05:44] I don't know.

[01:05:45] Yeah.

[01:05:45] Okay.

[01:05:46] What could have been.

[01:05:46] All right.

[01:05:48] Then we had after Tiana, then the first person, uh, then Sierra.

[01:05:54] Well, Sierra has a lot going on.

[01:05:56] Yeah.

[01:05:57] I wonder where she's registered.

[01:05:58] We can probably get her.

[01:05:59] We can get her a baby gift.

[01:06:00] Get her a baby gift.

[01:06:01] A baby buff.

[01:06:02] Yes.

[01:06:03] A buff for the baby.

[01:06:04] We don't want to get her chickens.

[01:06:06] No.

[01:06:07] She loves chickens.

[01:06:08] She drinks wine with them, but now she can't drink wine.

[01:06:11] She can't drink wine.

[01:06:11] Yeah.

[01:06:12] She can't drink wine anymore with the chickens.

[01:06:14] Yeah.

[01:06:14] Let's get her a baby buff.

[01:06:15] What was the name of the chicken?

[01:06:16] Miss Peppers.

[01:06:18] Oh, you know, all chickens be food to me.

[01:06:20] So I don't know.

[01:06:21] I didn't name it.

[01:06:22] I'm going to play with my food.

[01:06:23] Okay.

[01:06:24] Then Saul.

[01:06:25] What do we, what do we get Saul?

[01:06:27] Definitely not a shirt.

[01:06:28] Less shirts.

[01:06:30] Less shirts.

[01:06:30] Less shirts.

[01:06:31] How do we get, maybe that we take from Saul, you know, we take away his sleeves.

[01:06:35] Yeah.

[01:06:36] You know, or make sure like, uh, yeah.

[01:06:38] I like that.

[01:06:40] Okay.

[01:06:40] Yeah.

[01:06:41] We're going to take something from Saul, you know, give him more, uh,

[01:06:45] Mel said oil.

[01:06:46] Yeah.

[01:06:46] Baby oil.

[01:06:47] Let's get him some baby oil.

[01:06:48] Uh oh.

[01:06:49] Yeah.

[01:06:49] Let's grease him up.

[01:06:52] Okay.

[01:06:52] Uh, but then after Saul, Gabe, what does Gabe want?

[01:06:56] What does he need?

[01:06:57] What does Gabe want?

[01:07:00] A cameo from Ray Lewis?

[01:07:03] Cameo from Ray Lewis.

[01:07:05] Cameo from Russell Hans.

[01:07:06] Mm-hmm.

[01:07:07] Yeah.

[01:07:08] I think we can get a cameo for him as well.

[01:07:10] What about both of them together?

[01:07:12] Uh, ooh, Ray Lewis and Russell Hans in the same spot.

[01:07:15] Mm-hmm.

[01:07:15] I think, I have a feeling that they would get along.

[01:07:17] We can get them a Super Bowl win for the Ravens.

[01:07:20] Okay.

[01:07:21] If you can deliver that, sure.

[01:07:23] I can't deliver it and I don't know if they can either, but we're going to keep our fingers

[01:07:26] crossed for Gabe.

[01:07:27] Okay.

[01:07:28] Then after Gabe, was it Kyle?

[01:07:31] What does Kyle want?

[01:07:34] What does Kyle want?

[01:07:36] Vegan chicken wings?

[01:07:38] Oh, yeah.

[01:07:38] Please, please get this man some fried cauliflower and call it chicken wings.

[01:07:42] You know, because I think that's what they do, right?

[01:07:44] Like, or like, or like, what do they call it?

[01:07:46] Jackfruit or something?

[01:07:47] Yeah.

[01:07:47] Whatever they do.

[01:07:48] Yes.

[01:07:49] Give this man something because I know he has a lot of regrets about eating that chicken.

[01:07:53] Okay.

[01:07:53] Then after Kyle went out, I think it was Caroline.

[01:07:58] Chad, tell me if I missed somebody.

[01:08:01] Oh, yeah.

[01:08:01] I don't know the boot order.

[01:08:02] That's wrong.

[01:08:05] I don't have my list.

[01:08:09] Okay.

[01:08:10] What does Caroline want?

[01:08:13] Caroline.

[01:08:16] Oh, no.

[01:08:19] She, I think we kind of got a glimpse of her talking about her.

[01:08:22] Kimberly's so good at this.

[01:08:23] Pom poms.

[01:08:24] Pom poms.

[01:08:25] She is a cheerleader.

[01:08:26] She is a cheerleader.

[01:08:27] I think she could.

[01:08:27] Yeah.

[01:08:27] I think she can hype people up.

[01:08:29] Okay.

[01:08:29] Yeah.

[01:08:30] All right.

[01:08:30] Then.

[01:08:31] All right.

[01:08:32] After that, then it was Andy.

[01:08:35] Give Andy a round of applause.

[01:08:39] A round of applause.

[01:08:40] No, no, no.

[01:08:41] You got to let that hair down, but clap for Andy.

[01:08:42] You know, they didn't clap for him at the coconut challenge and it almost ruined his game.

[01:08:45] Let's give him a round of applause.

[01:08:47] Or a trip back to Survivor 50.

[01:08:52] Give Andy a return trip.

[01:08:54] Okay.

[01:08:54] You're going to Fiji.

[01:08:57] Again.

[01:08:58] Yes.

[01:08:59] Okay.

[01:09:00] What about Genevieve?

[01:09:03] Genevieve.

[01:09:04] Genevieve.

[01:09:05] Give Genevieve some space.

[01:09:08] Let her breathe.

[01:09:09] You know?

[01:09:09] Okay.

[01:09:10] Let the queen.

[01:09:10] Let the queen of Eve.

[01:09:12] Let her have some space.

[01:09:14] Because I know that the fandom is clamoring for her.

[01:09:16] But the last person, the fandom ran off Kenzie and I'll never forgive y'all.

[01:09:20] So let's let Genevieve breathe.

[01:09:21] Now, was it the whole fandom or was it like one or two yahoos?

[01:09:25] I think it's the whole fandom.

[01:09:27] I think it's like the yahoos were on top of the fandom.

[01:09:29] The fandom was wilding.

[01:09:30] The fandom was wilding.

[01:09:31] That lady won the game and people immediately started to argue.

[01:09:35] She didn't get one day of just universal.

[01:09:37] Just like, we're happy for you.

[01:09:39] Like Rachel did.

[01:09:40] Oh no.

[01:09:41] This woman won the game.

[01:09:43] People were like, it should have been Charlie.

[01:09:45] So yeah.

[01:09:46] Yeah.

[01:09:47] Give us a face.

[01:09:48] Maybe if Sam would have hyped up Taylor Swift more.

[01:09:53] Yeah.

[01:09:53] I think that could have.

[01:09:54] I mean, couldn't hurt.

[01:09:56] Okay.

[01:09:57] Then we had after that, that we have to teeny already.

[01:10:04] Oh yeah.

[01:10:05] We're already there.

[01:10:06] Teeny gets a brand new bag.

[01:10:07] Yeah.

[01:10:08] Per the song.

[01:10:10] Yeah.

[01:10:10] Per the song.

[01:10:11] Can the opportunity to help me move at any point?

[01:10:15] Yes.

[01:10:17] You know, it's funny because I was thinking back on earlier in the season where

[01:10:22] there's the moment where Anika is watching Sam with the clothesline and we're

[01:10:27] like, yeah, Anika's not really doing anything with the clothesline,

[01:10:29] but Sam is doing the work and Anika's kind of just like directing.

[01:10:33] That's one of those things Teeny's talking about.

[01:10:35] He's the guy moving the desk.

[01:10:36] The teacher looks at him as kind of like the go-to guy for, you know,

[01:10:39] manly material, manly things.

[01:10:40] Hang up the clothesline.

[01:10:41] Yeah.

[01:10:42] So I could see that.

[01:10:43] Let Teeny move the desk.

[01:10:44] Chappelle, what about Sue?

[01:10:46] What does Sue want?

[01:10:47] Okay.

[01:10:48] A wet towel.

[01:10:49] A wet wipe.

[01:10:50] Yeah.

[01:10:50] Some soap.

[01:10:51] Yeah.

[01:10:53] DVD of Alice in Wonderland.

[01:10:55] I think it's so much for Sue.

[01:10:58] For Tweedly D and Tweedly Dumb?

[01:10:59] Yeah.

[01:11:00] Yeah.

[01:11:01] You know, makeup.

[01:11:03] You know, for the contour, obviously.

[01:11:06] Yeah.

[01:11:08] Yeah.

[01:11:09] I don't know.

[01:11:09] Happy 46th birthday card.

[01:11:13] Pretty good.

[01:11:14] Yeah.

[01:11:15] She says she should have said she was 47 for Survivor 47.

[01:11:23] She should have said she was 15.

[01:11:24] I think she should have said she was 15.

[01:11:26] Yeah.

[01:11:26] All right.

[01:11:27] Then Sam.

[01:11:28] What are we getting, Sam?

[01:11:31] An edible arrangement.

[01:11:34] No, no, no.

[01:11:34] That's what you get.

[01:11:35] That's what you get, Andy.

[01:11:36] Matter of fact, we should go back and retroactively give Andy some weed.

[01:11:39] I know he was afraid of it.

[01:11:40] But like, based on what I've seen, Andy, the doctor is prescribing that you try something.

[01:11:44] Yeah.

[01:11:44] But edible arrangement is fruit.

[01:11:46] Oh, yeah.

[01:11:47] Sure.

[01:11:47] Sure.

[01:11:47] Yeah.

[01:11:47] Of course.

[01:11:48] Obviously.

[01:11:48] Yeah.

[01:11:48] I mean that.

[01:11:50] Yeah.

[01:11:50] That's what I meant.

[01:11:51] Duh.

[01:11:52] Like they cut like a cantaloupe into like a flower.

[01:11:55] Yeah.

[01:11:56] And then you inject it with some flour.

[01:11:58] No.

[01:11:58] Still not right?

[01:12:00] That's not how you do that?

[01:12:01] No.

[01:12:01] I've never had one of those.

[01:12:02] I've never had an edible arrangement.

[01:12:03] I've only.

[01:12:04] I didn't know you had to arrange them.

[01:12:05] Yeah.

[01:12:06] How do you arrange them?

[01:12:07] By size?

[01:12:07] That they're like, you know, that they cut them.

[01:12:16] Infused.

[01:12:17] Sure.

[01:12:18] Yeah.

[01:12:19] Yeah.

[01:12:19] Sure.

[01:12:20] Look, Sam's a pineapple guy now.

[01:12:22] Okay.

[01:12:22] Get him a pineapple.

[01:12:23] Mm hmm.

[01:12:24] Pineapple Express.

[01:12:25] Yeah.

[01:12:26] Yeah.

[01:12:26] There you go.

[01:12:27] Look at that.

[01:12:28] All right.

[01:12:28] And then finally, Rachel, where do we get the winner of Survivor who has everything now?

[01:12:33] She gets to get us something.

[01:12:35] Hell, we ain't winning Survivor.

[01:12:37] Rachel.

[01:12:38] You think Rachel could give us a cameo?

[01:12:41] We haven't had one.

[01:12:42] Oh, well, I think she's going to have to make one for Shannon for the next draft.

[01:12:46] Everybody keeps bringing up Shannon.

[01:12:47] I just don't understand why.

[01:12:48] Did she do something remarkable or something?

[01:12:50] Did something happen?

[01:12:51] Mm hmm.

[01:12:52] Yeah.

[01:12:52] I don't know.

[01:12:54] Rachel.

[01:12:55] Rachel sounded like she plays poker, but she says she's not the best.

[01:12:58] I would like for Rachel to get like, maybe like a poker tutor.

[01:13:02] Maybe Rachel and Tyson.

[01:13:04] He meets a new Rachel and he can walk her through some of the things that are going to be

[01:13:06] the ins and outs.

[01:13:07] Because he's a poker guy, right?

[01:13:09] Who is?

[01:13:10] Tyson?

[01:13:11] Tyson.

[01:13:11] Yeah.

[01:13:11] Tyson plays poker.

[01:13:12] Tyson, Boston Rob.

[01:13:14] We put Rachel in a new poker group chat, like the one that she's in with Dom, but with

[01:13:18] winners.

[01:13:19] You know, like she's in the loser bracket right now.

[01:13:21] Ronnie Barter's in there.

[01:13:22] You know, James Lynn.

[01:13:23] What is he doing?

[01:13:24] What are you doing in there, Rachel?

[01:13:25] Girl, get out of there.

[01:13:26] Has she outgrown the poker chat that Dom was in?

[01:13:31] I think so.

[01:13:32] I think you got to put her in the big leagues now.

[01:13:34] Boston Rob.

[01:13:35] Who are the other Survivor winners who play poker?

[01:13:38] Do you know them?

[01:13:39] Well, there was the infamous Poker Alliance in Winners at War.

[01:13:43] Kim Spradlin.

[01:13:43] But I don't think Kim Spradlin is a real poker player.

[01:13:46] Like she was on a TV show.

[01:13:49] Yeah, but I mean, no disrespect to Dom.

[01:13:52] And Jeremy, who I don't think is actually a poker player.

[01:13:56] I'm just saying, I think, Rachel, your time playing around with Ronnie Barter and them is

[01:14:02] over.

[01:14:02] I think you have to move into the winners bracket now.

[01:14:04] Kudos to you, Rachel.

[01:14:05] All right.

[01:14:05] Yeah, kudos to you.

[01:14:07] You did a great job with that.

[01:14:08] Thank you.

[01:14:09] Yeah.

[01:14:10] Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.

[01:14:12] We did it.

[01:14:12] You did it.

[01:14:13] Is there anything else on your mind in terms of Survivor 47?

[01:14:17] Let me check my list.

[01:14:18] Let me check it twice.

[01:14:20] Ah, I wanted to talk about Rachel's signature move.

[01:14:23] Yes.

[01:14:25] What do you think Rachel's signature move is of the season?

[01:14:28] So I think that probably the quicker thing that people are going to say is the shot in

[01:14:33] the dark, but that was a cool move.

[01:14:34] But it wasn't, I think, that probably what she should be remembered for.

[01:14:37] I think that her, Rachel's funeral at the final six, I think should be what we look at as

[01:14:44] her signature move.

[01:14:45] I agree.

[01:14:46] I tweeted it in the moment.

[01:14:47] I was happy to see Rachel bring it up at final tribal council as well.

[01:14:51] It is incredible to get your opponents who are trying to hype up your threat level, but

[01:14:59] also to sincerely talk about how you're a threat and then to not be able to get you out is incredible.

[01:15:05] They were doing the jury management for her.

[01:15:08] I agreed with her wholeheartedly.

[01:15:09] Yes, you hyped up my threat level, but then you sat next to me.

[01:15:12] You can't beat me.

[01:15:13] You've already identified that I needed to go.

[01:15:15] Yeah, I'm trying to keep you out of the final three, but at the same time, I did not identify

[01:15:19] you as the biggest threat.

[01:15:20] You are somebody who I'm competing against that I feel less confident against with these

[01:15:25] two, but also you've already identified that I'm your big bad wolf and you didn't take

[01:15:30] me out.

[01:15:30] I love that so much.

[01:15:31] And it's funny because way back in the early days of Club Condo this season, we talked about

[01:15:36] Rachel's signature move being stealing the rice.

[01:15:38] How quickly have we done?

[01:15:40] We're like, no one cares about stealing rice.

[01:15:41] And we're like, ah, that's a great moment.

[01:15:43] Yeah.

[01:15:43] Yeah.

[01:15:44] She had a lot.

[01:15:45] She had a lot of great moments.

[01:15:46] The puzzle that snatches the table into the water.

[01:15:50] I think she did.

[01:15:51] She win the house of cards as well.

[01:15:52] She didn't lose it.

[01:15:54] Caroline lost it.

[01:15:56] Yeah.

[01:15:56] She didn't lose the house of cards.

[01:15:58] That's a cool moment.

[01:15:59] She won for immunity challenges.

[01:16:02] You know, and you've seen that up close.

[01:16:04] You know, this is an incredible player.

[01:16:06] She has some incredible moments.

[01:16:08] And I think hopefully a lot of people are going to look at Rachel and say like, yeah,

[01:16:12] Rachel is going to be an iconic winner in the new era.

[01:16:15] And people should continue to start trying and figuring out where she ranks in your hierarchy

[01:16:20] of winners.

[01:16:21] Because I heard you talking about that with Dom a little bit.

[01:16:23] You put her up against some of the groats.

[01:16:24] You put her up against D.

[01:16:26] I heard Mary Ann's name come up.

[01:16:27] I was enjoying the conversation.

[01:16:57] Yeah.

[01:16:58] It was a difficult road that she had to take to get to where she ultimately got.

[01:17:02] Yeah.

[01:17:03] And she got there and showed up and showed out.

[01:17:07] You know, it was a great performance from her.

[01:17:09] I agree.

[01:17:09] I think that that's a good way of putting it.

[01:17:11] Because I think when you're talking to Dom, you were talking about like, oh, Rachel got

[01:17:14] to the merge and Dom was saying like, at that point, she was kind of out of it.

[01:17:18] She didn't really know where she stood.

[01:17:19] But from there, she wasn't at the bottom.

[01:17:21] She flipped to the top immediately.

[01:17:23] She became in the majority alliance.

[01:17:25] And then they realized within the majority alliance that Andy, Caroline, Rachel, Sue,

[01:17:31] who was, is there a fifth person in that alliance?

[01:17:32] I think that's it.

[01:17:33] But anyway, in that alliance, she was the power player in that alliance.

[01:17:37] So she didn't, she never was like at the bottom the whole time.

[01:17:40] Right.

[01:17:41] She fought her way back to the top.

[01:17:43] And then from there had to maintain the lead.

[01:17:45] So, yeah, the deep playoff running is, I think, the best way to put that.

[01:17:50] Because, yeah, that's exactly how it looked like to me.

[01:17:53] You know, like she squeaks into the playoffs.

[01:17:56] Her record is like, what, 10 and 6 or something like that.

[01:18:00] You know what I'm saying?

[01:18:00] Like 8 and 8, 8 and 9.

[01:18:02] And then from there, she just takes off.

[01:18:04] You know, Joe Flacco elite all the way to the end.

[01:18:07] Right.

[01:18:07] It's just one of those runs.

[01:18:09] Yeah.

[01:18:10] And that's the same sort of debate of like, is he elite?

[01:18:14] So that's where we are with Rachel.

[01:18:15] All right.

[01:18:16] Well, it was an incredible season.

[01:18:17] Chappelle, you were really on fire tonight.

[01:18:19] I got very excited.

[01:18:20] I got very excited to talk about Survivor.

[01:18:23] You saw it.

[01:18:23] Like, we were kind of talking pregame.

[01:18:25] And then I was like, no, let's do this.

[01:18:27] Let's talk about Survivor.

[01:18:28] Let's talk about Club Condo.

[01:18:29] And so I love it.

[01:18:30] I love getting to see everybody's arc.

[01:18:34] Everybody's seeing how everybody comes and starts.

[01:18:35] You know, what we thought about them on Club Condo episode one.

[01:18:38] How grim it was for people like Andy.

[01:18:41] How Rachel was almost not even in the conversation.

[01:18:43] But then we have this final three that I think a lot of people are going to look at and say they all played good games.

[01:18:48] And in Survivor, a lot of times, that's not what people are saying.

[01:18:50] People get to the end and they're like, this person played a bad game.

[01:18:53] Sue lost.

[01:18:54] Didn't get one vote.

[01:18:54] And I haven't heard anybody say she played a bad game.

[01:18:57] You know, same thing with Sam.

[01:18:59] And of course, Rachel is our big winner.

[01:19:01] So this is going to be one of those seasons that stand out for a long time.

[01:19:04] And that's crazy considering I didn't think I was ever going to watch this show again as far as like after the Asia booth.

[01:19:09] Like, I really was having a hard time showing up for work.

[01:19:11] It was the season of very good players, for sure.

[01:19:13] Yeah.

[01:19:13] All right.

[01:19:14] Hold on.

[01:19:14] I didn't say that.

[01:19:15] I did not say that.

[01:19:16] I think the three that made it to the end played solid games.

[01:19:19] I think the ones in the middle.

[01:19:20] Yeah.

[01:19:21] I got some questions about some of these moves, okay?

[01:19:23] All right.

[01:19:24] Fair enough.

[01:19:26] Chappelle, we had all of our post-game coverage from last week.

[01:19:31] I went almost four hours with the patrons the other day taking their questions.

[01:19:36] People had a lot to say about this finale, plus everything else in our Survivor podcast feed at WeKnowSurvivor.com.

[01:19:41] And now we are starting to look ahead to January because we have two big shows coming up.

[01:19:47] We have the traders and we have the return of Adandi, our beloved, Deal or No Deal Island.

[01:19:54] And that is going to be coming back.

[01:19:56] So you are not going to get to miss us podcasting together there on that.

[01:20:02] Coming up in January, we have our traders preview podcast dropping now.

[01:20:06] We will have even a couple of Adandi preview podcasts talking about Dr. Will and Parvati and the golden god, David, from Australian Survivor, coming up in January.

[01:20:17] So make sure you are locked in for that.

[01:20:19] Chappelle, it was also a very exciting House of Villains finale, not to spoil anything.

[01:20:25] Wait, did you watch it?

[01:20:27] I know of it.

[01:20:28] I absorbed it.

[01:20:29] I am considering watching it after I heard what happened.

[01:20:32] You just got to watch the finale.

[01:20:34] Rob, I looked, I glanced at the YouTube comments on our House of Villains podcast for the finale.

[01:20:43] Yeah.

[01:20:43] And it is, it is a war zone in there.

[01:20:46] Okay.

[01:20:47] I saw like 99 comments last time I looked.

[01:20:50] I was like, oh, y'all going in.

[01:20:51] I love it.

[01:20:52] We had such a good time.

[01:20:54] Jenny and I enjoyed the entire season of House of Villains.

[01:20:58] And then, of course, the finale was iconic.

[01:21:01] One of the craziest things I've seen in reality TV.

[01:21:04] And if you haven't seen it, go watch it and then go like our YouTube video and hop in the comments and argue.

[01:21:09] Because people are mad.

[01:21:11] People are mad.

[01:21:11] But me and Jenny had a great ass time.

[01:21:13] Hey, if people want to binge it over the holidays, it's a good idea.

[01:21:16] Check out the podcast recaps at weknowvillains.com.

[01:21:21] It's so good.

[01:21:22] It's so good.

[01:21:23] It's so good, y'all.

[01:21:25] It's so good.

[01:21:25] Richard Hatch was there for the Survivor Only people here.

[01:21:28] Richard Hatch is on there.

[01:21:28] Go see how Richard Hatch does on House of Villains.

[01:21:30] He's one of the titular villains.

[01:21:32] And, you know, he's there at the finale.

[01:21:34] Now, what is he doing at the finale?

[01:21:36] Got to check it out and find out.

[01:21:37] Okay.

[01:21:38] Chappelle, what else is going on for you?

[01:21:40] Um, obviously, like you said, Dondi.

[01:21:43] We're doing a deal or no deal island.

[01:21:44] I am so excited for deal or no deal island.

[01:21:46] If you have not checked it out, the season one, what are you doing?

[01:21:50] Boston Rob was there and he played, like, he put Survivor, like, back in front of these people's faces and said,

[01:21:55] nah, you can't ignore us.

[01:21:56] And I saw the teaser trailer for Dondi that dropped, I think, today.

[01:22:00] Yeah.

[01:22:01] Um, yeah.

[01:22:02] That's really good.

[01:22:03] Speaking of they know each other.

[01:22:05] Was that Parvati talking about David?

[01:22:07] I've heard about you.

[01:22:08] I was like, wait a minute.

[01:22:09] What's going on?

[01:22:09] It's almost like she was watching a bunch of Australian Survivor at the time she went to go do Dondi.

[01:22:14] Right.

[01:22:15] Why would she be doing all that research about the golden god David over there on Australian Survivor?

[01:22:20] And so when I saw that Parvati knew, they know each other, that she knows of him.

[01:22:24] I was thinking, oh, God, you know, the now she didn't go on Dondi last year.

[01:22:30] Yeah.

[01:22:31] Show up.

[01:22:31] Boston Rob is there.

[01:22:32] Well, no, I'm just saying, I don't know how much Australian Survivor she knew a year ago.

[01:22:36] Oh, yeah.

[01:22:37] No, no.

[01:22:38] She might have been cramming Australian Survivor.

[01:22:41] Yeah, maybe again, for some reason or another.

[01:22:43] But yeah, she's there.

[01:22:45] She we got a maniacal Parvati laugh.

[01:22:47] We got a doctor.

[01:22:48] The trailer looked really good.

[01:22:49] It was so good.

[01:22:50] And the show was good, too.

[01:22:52] This is your place to get deal or no deal coverage.

[01:22:54] And so check that out and then catch me on RHAP and various other ways.

[01:22:59] Sasha and I are talking about Sex Lines of College Girls on RHAP Scripted.

[01:23:04] Yeah.

[01:23:05] And yeah.

[01:23:06] And then I think we got Squid Game coming up.

[01:23:10] Mike Bloom and I will be covering every episode.

[01:23:12] Drops the day after Christmas.

[01:23:14] Yeah.

[01:23:14] Happy Hanukkah.

[01:23:15] We're dropping.

[01:23:16] We're dropping.

[01:23:17] Day two of Hanukkah.

[01:23:18] The Squid Game every day.

[01:23:20] Every day for seven days.

[01:23:22] Each of the seven days of Squid Game right in time for the holiday season.

[01:23:25] So check that out.

[01:23:27] And then, of course, you can catch me on Recap Kickback talking about everything I'm talking

[01:23:31] about.

[01:23:31] I got holiday movies over there.

[01:23:33] I got The Madness on Netflix.

[01:23:35] We got guests from the A Who Are Gonna Be There podcast.

[01:23:39] Guesting over on the Was It Good Though podcast.

[01:23:41] There's a lot going on.

[01:23:42] Catch it on RecapKickback.com and our YouTube page.

[01:23:45] YouTube.com slash at Recap Kickback.

[01:23:46] All right, Chappelle, great job.

[01:24:12] Take care.

[01:24:13] Have a good one.

[01:24:13] Bye.
