Brandon & Brando on Survivor B&B: S47 Ep 5

Mike and Liana are joined by Brandon Donlon and Brando Meyer for Episode 5!

[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Mike and the Anna, yeah, they're playing some games. You better pray to your momma that they're not super lame. And if that all sounds cool I can tell you the name. Its the R-H-A-P-B-M-B.

[00:00:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Mike and the Anna, yeah, they're playing some games. You better pray to your momma that they're not super lame. All sounds cool I can tell you the name. It's the R-H-A-P-B-M-B.

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, everybody, and welcome back to the RHAP BNB for week five of Survivor 47.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_01]: My name is Mike Bloom, but today in the spirit of the Survivor Social Hour,

[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_01]: which I'll say real ones know that the RHAP BNB was the true OG Survivor Social Hour, right, Leona Boris?

[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, 100%. Come on. When we have more condiments, OK?

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly. We may not have cornhole, but we have corny jokes.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And we have holes. Peter Harkey once told us that.

[00:01:05] [SPEAKER_01]: So here we are. But we decided to take that B and double it, baby,

[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_01]: because we've got a B and B and B and B happening in this podcast.

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Let me welcome in these two fine gentlemen as we wrap up the pre-merge of Survivor 47.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_01]: These are two standout guys from the pre-merge of Survivor 45.

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I call them the brand winners. First off, it's Brandon Donlan.

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Brandon, how are you? Oh, my God. What an intro.

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm great. You know, I've been on a lot of podcasts this week.

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I was at the Rob is a Podcast live show.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_04]: People think it's because I'm just, you know, so inspired by Annika.

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I want to talk about her game. It's not. I got a new haircut.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm doing every avenue possible to show people that I got one.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm thrilled to be here now.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I should be on YX Lost in about an hour and a half.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_04]: You can check that out as well.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_01]: All right. Brandon is making the talk show circuit.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Basically, a lot of people like to promote things.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Not like come on to just be like, here's my new look.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I just want to show it off on as many talk shows as possible.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: But he is not alone.

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Making his B&B debut is Brando.

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Brando Meyer.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Hello. Hello.

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm also here actually to promote Brandon Donlan's new haircut.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It looks fantastic.

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, look at the guy.

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_02]: He looks beautiful.

[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, who would want to miss a fifth boot episode?

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm very, very happy to be here.

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Mm hmm.

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: This is the solid PR team we need.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry, Brandon.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to get your hair out there.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_00]: OK, but there we go.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Branding for these two men.

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Brando, I mean, obviously you got to commemorate another fifth boot here.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Were you triggered a little bit by the whole like not a swap mechanism,

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_01]: considering the weird things that happened with yours last season or two years ago?

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_02]: So being the only swap in the new era is a little triggering for sure to see what went down.

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_02]: But I really liked the twist this week.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So as much as it is a little bit of a pain, I am very happy to see that they're going in a new direction.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was really cool.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, this was one of the big takeaways was the brand new twist never before seen on Survivor.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And it turns out to be a bit of a mixer, a bit of like a soft mergatory, perhaps,

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_01]: and maybe some details on what comes next, perhaps because of the event that we had.

[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, three of us got the chance to watch this in a big theater as well,

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: which I think really amped up the energy.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_01]: So, Brando, I'm glad to hear that, like separate of that,

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: because sometimes in the room, like even if things don't fly necessarily for people on the couch,

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_01]: in the room, you just get infused with the energy.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm glad to hear you were like in the social hour.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Liana, what about you?

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think it's interesting because I was under the assumption that,

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_00]: well, we're going to get to earn the merge next week.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_00]: So this felt like a very bizarre thing to do.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Although from what we've seen from some of the previews,

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_00]: that might not be the case where actually we are going into the merge, I think.

[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, Mike, you might not have a better sense.

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_00]: But I love the fact that this twist gave us some semblance of what the social interactions

[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_00]: might look like once we do merge.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And if we're not going to have that in another capacity, then I'm happy that we got it here.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Brandon, what do you think about implementing this?

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Is this something they should move forward with?

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_01]: In lieu maybe of the like specific facet of mergatory of,

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: okay, half of you are going to be immune and go off for a merge fees.

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, regarding the Survivor Social Hour,

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I think back to like Survivor Guatemala where Danny had a birthday party,

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, a little bit before the merge.

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_04]: And they just got the two tribes together to hang out.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_04]: There was no challenge component.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_04]: It was just a weird random thing that Survivor hadn't done before,

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I think since either.

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I'd rather see that than have six go and have six not go.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Just because like, even if we're not merging right now,

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_04]: the dynamics that can happen to just a couple hours together.

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_04]: And then you have to go into the tribal cycle again for one, two more rounds.

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that lends itself to more interesting play than just having the six and six.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Because whatever the mechanism is with six and six, we have seen it before.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_04]: So I like that.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Or seven and seven rather, I guess, with Anika's position.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: But I like a new thing.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_04]: And this was a new thing that was super fun.

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_04]: But I think there's further optimization on a new thing that we just,

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_04]: on the old thing that can make it a little bit more, a little bit more fun.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I think there is something weird about the idea that you can go

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and sort of start your merge journey,

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_00]: but then you still have to go back to your original tribe.

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And we saw this pay off with Tiana and Gabe,

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: where Tiana starts to do, you know, the thing you do in merge,

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_00]: where you're willing to give up a member of your tribe to show that,

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_00]: hey, I want to move forward and work with other people.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not just, you know, too strong.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But then you have to go back to just Gabe.

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And then you have to potentially go to tribal council.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, ultimately, I didn't see it happen,

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: but that could be a huge detriment to your game.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's almost presented as, hey, here's an opportunity to forge bonds,

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_00]: but don't screw it up.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Because if you do end up going back to tribal council,

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_00]: this could really mess with your game.

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you could even argue, at least Anika did to me,

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_01]: that this was something that also potentially led to her blind side

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_01]: is because like when they do a little bit of like the catch ups

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_01]: and they're like, oh, yeah, Sam, you and Sierra are a thing, right?

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, wow.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: What did Anika say about us at the journey?

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And even though at least from our perspective,

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_01]: it was more so that they were presenting the information rather than her.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I could certainly see them take it as a sign of like, oh,

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: if she did not go to bat to deny any of these allegations that we were close,

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_01]: then that means that maybe she's not looking out for us.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I do think that, you know, if you do have,

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I think back to also not to just keep referencing old seasons,

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_04]: but I think to like Thailand also,

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_04]: where they pair off one person from each tribe during the fake merge,

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_04]: where they think they're getting insight from each other.

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_04]: If you have more people here and you're in smaller groups,

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_04]: it does lend itself well for maybe a position that would have saved Anika also.

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_04]: If Anika is in one group, you know,

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, outing Sam and Sierra for their thing,

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_04]: but in every other group, everybody's keeping it quiet.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, granted, that doesn't work well for Anika,

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_04]: but or vice versa, everybody's keeping it very loud.

[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_04]: And Anika is the one keeping it quiet.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_04]: You see it.

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_04]: You see a couple of different variations.

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_04]: So I think either way, it was super fun.

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I do regarding the survivor social hour.

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I do think, you know,

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_04]: having to like win and then go get your dry hot dog and then play another

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_04]: challenge via cornhole.

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_04]: The last thing that I would want if I want to reward challenge is another

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_04]: game that I have to not just sit around and eat.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_04]: But Hey, they liked it.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_04]: They seem to really take the cornhole.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I love cornhole at a brewery at a restaurant.

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't need it when I won something to like,

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I just did the challenge.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Come on.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, Hey,

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I need calories in my body and I don't want to expend them until the next

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_01]: time that I have to don't make me even get up and walk and throw these

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_01]: beanbags around.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I kudos to them for committing like the art direction on the banner.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Say magnifique.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like I'm a Myrtle beach.

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_04]: It's really giving,

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_04]: it's giving the Myrtle beach motif,

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_04]: which is,

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_04]: when you're on survivor in Fiji,

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_04]: the only place you want to be is Myrtle beach.

[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_04]: You want to close your eyes and just transport yourself back to that nice

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_04]: place.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Um,

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_04]: so I love it.

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's fantastic.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I was,

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_00]: well,

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I was expecting the wrong John surf shop to show up as well.

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I love the generic soda labels,

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_00]: but the cornhole was an interesting choice because you say,

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_00]: lack of food,

[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_00]: corn hole,

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: bean bags.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh,

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_00]: very food theme.

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Should they,

[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I know that Rob said on the live show that like,

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_01]: they should have cut open the beanbags to find advantages.

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I say cut open the beanbags,

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_01]: pocket the beans.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_00]: What did we learn from Myrtle?

[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And there's no Jeff there to stop you.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_02]: How old,

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_02]: how old do we think those beans are?

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause those have probably been sitting in the art department for months.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_02]: You know,

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_02]: they're getting rained on.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not,

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_01]: it's not newly made like the banner.

[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_01]: These are the beanbags that they probably have used in like every challenge

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_01]: since moving to Fiji,

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_01]: nearly 10 years old.

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_05]: JP Hill's back was flinging those.

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_01]: exactly.

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Like,

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: well,

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: see,

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: like him.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_00]: They're about to start sprouting.

[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Well,

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: what we saw sprout over the course of this episode was a good old fashioned

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: blind side,

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_01]: but a reaction for the ages.

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh,

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_01]: again,

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Brando fellow fifth boot,

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: uh,

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: you're,

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: you're nearly at Mergatory.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You feel like you just have to make it through the next stage of the game.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Could you put yourself in Annika's footsteps as she stood there and didn't make any

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_01]: footsteps just gawking at what was happening?

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_02]: It's,

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_02]: it's absolutely brutal.

[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I loved how long of a pause,

[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_02]: like almost no music that they gave us.

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it was,

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_02]: was it over a minute?

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I went back to,

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_02]: to check it before this podcast.

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Um,

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_02]: but it was,

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_02]: it was a long time where she was just standing there and it's like the raw feeling of almost

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_02]: being there.

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And,

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02]: you know,

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure with the two tribe challenge,

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_02]: she thought that she had made it at least a little bit further than she did.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_02]: It's,

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_02]: it's,

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_02]: uh,

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_02]: it's hard to have that taken away when you're,

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_02]: when you're not expecting it for sure.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm not surprised by her,

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_02]: her raw reaction.

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I,

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_04]: as somebody who does,

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_04]: love survivor history,

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I do think this is a very interesting example of a blind side.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_04]: You know,

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_04]: you see the Kelly blind side and the Kelly blind side is shot like a murder mystery where

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_04]: it's,

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_04]: it's out of nowhere,

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_04]: right?

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_04]: To everybody.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_04]: And you see like the Michaela Bradshaw,

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_04]: blind side.

[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_04]: That is not that it is very,

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a surprise.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_04]: And then she has an explosive reaction.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_04]: So I,

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that you have,

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_04]: we haven't seen something that's like this in quite some time.

[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Although Annika,

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_04]: wasn't that big of a surprise just with,

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_04]: with weeks past,

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_04]: you either think it's Andy or it's Annika.

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_04]: that's what the show is setting up for,

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_04]: but I can't remember an example that is just so,

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_04]: one person is super,

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_04]: super blindsided.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_04]: And then everybody else around her is,

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_04]: is,

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_04]: has clues.

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Even the audience,

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_04]: we have clues that it's going to be her or Andy,

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_04]: right?

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And even leading up to tribal council,

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_04]: you see Andy wheeling and dealing.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_04]: You're like,

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh no,

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_04]: this might be,

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_04]: this might be Annika.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_04]: And then when it happens,

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_04]: it is a really,

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_04]: really interesting vantage point that we don't often get with the

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_04]: survivor blind side.

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_04]: You know,

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_04]: it's not often that it's just solely one person that's blindsided.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Um,

[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_04]: and especially not having that,

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_04]: that huge of a reaction.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I must say too,

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: not that,

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I noticed the challenges.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I watched the challenges,

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_04]: finally tooth comb just having,

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_04]: after having been there,

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_04]: but you know,

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Annika,

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_04]: ace the puzzle and every challenge that they had,

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Annika sat out of the challenge.

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Puzzle's not completed in time.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So I wonder,

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a thought.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a thought that,

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_04]: she,

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_04]: she was the squeaky wheel that,

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_04]: or she was the really good wheel.

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_04]: She wasn't squeaky wheel.

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_04]: She was the,

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_04]: you wouldn't believe how little this wheel squeaked with Annika.

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_04]: I know.

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_04]: She would have been in there.

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Really well oiled.

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_04]: She's a really well.

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Well,

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_01]: that's the problem is that they needed Andy to saw.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And like,

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_01]: that's really the,

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_01]: the sliding doors universe where if Annika is able to dry hump the

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_01]: saw,

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe they win the challenge.

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_05]: No other industries like this,

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_05]: is it?

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_05]: No,

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_05]: no,

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_05]: no other television show.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Do you get to throw lines like out like that out there?

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_04]: And I,

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I admire that.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Andy's doing incredible PR for people who are bad at challenges.

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_04]: You know,

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_04]: people are,

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_04]: people are all in on Andy,

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_04]: and we needed that.

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Our,

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_04]: our,

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_04]: our industry needed that very bad.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So shout out to Andy for,

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_04]: for helping us out of it.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_04]: He's helping our SEO dramatically.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm intrigued to see like,

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: will he be able to both make a deep enough run of the game to have

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_01]: multiple iconic instances of this,

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_01]: where he could eclipse crystal Cox as like one of the most noticeable bad

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_01]: challenge performers.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause she was able to benefit from the fact that she made it to the

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_01]: penultimate episode.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And so we got to see multiple instances of it,

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_01]: with Andy,

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_01]: this was obviously the most flagrant and comical example,

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I would say of it.

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_01]: but now with him making it to the mercury and at least for me,

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_01]: like looking at his edit stands to probably make a pretty deep cut into the

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_01]: game.

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_01]: There is so much more potential to see what exactly this man is going to do

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_01]: in your most favorite iconic survivor challenges.

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I like to live in a world where he could just be hustling us right now.

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I was talking to Austin during the last episode and he was saying if he

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_02]: was playing Cornell,

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_02]: he'd be sandbagging,

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_02]: right?

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_02]: He'd be throwing way to the left,

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_02]: way to the right.

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't want people to think that you're good at those challenges.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_02]: What if Andy is a sleeper agent,

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_02]: right?

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_02]: He's going to unlock his,

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_02]: his mic from season 30,

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_02]: blow through all of the individual immunity challenges.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Set the record.

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Most wins for individual immunity is I,

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I would absolutely love that.

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But I mean,

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: the other thing too,

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_00]: to keep in mind is that the group challenges,

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: the team challenges are all about moving.

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Whereas the individual immunity challenges are all about not moving.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe that will work out in his favor.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause he just has to balance and stand there instead of saw a bunch of

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_00]: stuff.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_01]: But then someone's going to ask Andy when they're bored,

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_01]: how are you doing?

[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And then he's going to go into another monologue and lose his

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_01]: concentration.

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: That's where the sleeper agent comes in,

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Mike.

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Jeff has to say the very specific phrase,

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_01]: like with the idols to unlock that agent sell with him.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_01]: And then he just goes full Terminator.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Which read the phrase last time was just,

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_04]: how are you?

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_04]: That the phrase is going to be super complicated.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_04]: He's not going to pick up on it.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_04]: When we were at the live show the other day,

[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I was sitting in front of Tiffany Sealy who raised the question when we were

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_04]: all, you know,

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_04]: chattering about Rome really boning that puzzle,

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_04]: only had the one,

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_04]: the one piece and the chatter there,

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_04]: the chatter online is did Rome throw it?

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_04]: And Tiffany said,

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_04]: and I'm taking her quote,

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_04]: but it applies to your boy.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Also is like,

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_04]: when I was bad at the challenge,

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_04]: nobody assumed that I threw it.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_04]: You have to throw it,

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess,

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_04]: so bad.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_04]: You have to be so,

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_04]: so,

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_04]: so bad at it that people think you throw it.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Tiffany on the balance beam could,

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_04]: could have been a throw.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't,

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I really,

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_04]: really,

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_04]: it's crazy how badly I wanted to not be in this position,

[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_04]: but,

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's an interesting point where,

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Rome was,

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_04]: is so,

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_04]: so,

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_04]: one,

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_04]: like four pieces looks infinitely better and less throwy than one,

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_04]: no pieces,

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_04]: one piece.

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_04]: But listen,

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_04]: he didn't throw,

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_04]: he claims he didn't throw.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know why he would at that point.

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Like,

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_01]: usually we see people throw it when like,

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_01]: they feel like they have a lockdown on the numbers and maybe Rome was very

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_01]: talk sure about where he was,

[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_01]: but you know,

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: the tribes are already even.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_01]: It just seems like for me,

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_01]: it makes more sense from a narrative perspective,

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_01]: like that.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_01]: This is a guy who claims he can do everything that insists on being put at

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_01]: the end of every challenge.

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And just like absolutely face plans.

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause again,

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I will say like Rome would let you know if he threw the challenge,

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_01]: he would let everybody know he would stand on that mat as soon as the

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_01]: challenge finished.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And Jeff would say,

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Rome,

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_01]: how are you?

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like,

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_01]: well,

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm feeling pretty good after I threw the challenge.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So like,

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_01]: if anything,

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_01]: he would want to almost lie about it and be like,

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_01]: no,

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't that bad on the puzzle.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I actually threw it.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He's actually doing the opposite here.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_00]: then we get another Genevieve,

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_00]: comment about Rome's been very naughty,

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_00]: which I know we didn't spend a lot of time with lava in this episode,

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_00]: but it was really fun to see some of the blowout.

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And especially the,

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_00]: the consequences of losing the reward,

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_00]: the split reward challenge was also very interesting because there's a

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_00]: reaction from Rome that obviously a lot of them didn't expect to happen

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: as teeny is the only one who gets to go on the reward.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_00]: So that was also very cool to see that being set up.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_00]: ultimately we don't see the payoff in this episode,

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_00]: but I assume that this is going to come back at some point later.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I,

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I,

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I would imagine that's the case.

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_01]: we are in for an incredibly messy individual game,

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_01]: between the journeys and now this thing,

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_01]: last time we have some bonds that are being made.

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So this is what I alluded to ahead of time.

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I will just say that this is going to be a little bit of speculation about

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_01]: next episode.

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't want to remain,

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_01]: remain in the dark,

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_01]: not a shot in the dark to now for the next like two minutes or so.

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: But basically what the scuttlebutt has been online from sort of parsing

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_01]: out what promos have been doing is that it seems like we're doing individual

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: immunity.

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_01]: It's back up for grabs.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And so I think Jeff even says in one promo,

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_01]: like one will be safe.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_01]: 12 will not.

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_01]: So it looks like now we make it some sort of like team phase of a challenge.

[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_01]: It might be sort of like a,

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_01]: like the survivor 43 or 45 challenge where like you run it into teams and then

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_01]: whichever team wins moves on to the next stage.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_01]: But whether or not they're quote unquote earning the merge,

[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_01]: we're at least not going to only allow half of the group to be vulnerable,

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_01]: which I think Brando will be very interesting because I think a lot of these

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_01]: people that would otherwise be protected from like happening to

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_01]: get thrown into the right group are suddenly out in the open now.

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I agree.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_02]: A hundred percent.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_02]: We love when they mix it up.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_02]: People have talked about how the new era with no like themes,

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_02]: just the, you know,

[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_02]: the season numbers gets kind of repetitive.

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm,

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm very curious to see what they have in store for,

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_02]: for earn the merge quote unquote this time.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I,

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_00]: that's the other thing is that having everybody as an option is just so much

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: more fun because we write the fan fictions in our heads about,

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_00]: well,

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_00]: what's going to happen when everybody comes together and you want to be able

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_00]: to see the full realm of possibilities play out and to immediately say,

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: okay,

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: well,

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: half of you are off the table.

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going,

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_00]: hopefully again,

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm hoping that this is the case is that it is just one person who's safe.

[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Then everybody else is on the table,

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_00]: which I think is going to make the scramble just so much more fun.

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_00]: talk about eggs.

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: We got a scramble coming up,

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_00]: baby.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh man.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you think they're going to bring the eggs to the merge beach?

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Those eggs will keep right.

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Well done that.

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_00]: They will never get their Flint back.

[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Assuming that.

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_00]: So like they'll have to,

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_00]: because otherwise what do they do?

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_00]: They just have a bunch of raw eggs.

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_01]: They either eat the raw eggs before they throw them at people.

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_01]: They don't like tribal council.

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Should have brought them to tribal.

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_04]: It is mischief night after all.

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I think so.

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Like,

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_01]: honestly,

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_01]: if I had an inkling that I was going,

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I would put some eggs in my pocket.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And if I were getting voted out,

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I would just start hucking eggs at people.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Or you pull a sabaya,

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_02]: you take them to tribal,

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_02]: you crack them on the fire.

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_00]: While you're all.

[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_02]: While everyone's yapping.

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Can you eat a raw egg?

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Can you just,

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh,

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I know Rocky Balboa did it.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I think.

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I think the issue is the egg shell.

[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I think you're fine with the actual,

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_02]: this is not medical advice.

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a nutritionist.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I think the inside of the egg is okay.

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it not?

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I think the issue is like salmonella poisoning.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_00]: So for food poisoning in some capacity.

[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And I,

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I would imagine that the actual egg could,

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_00]: could be,

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_00]: but the,

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_00]: the shell is probably more likely to be covered in bacteria.

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So if that would be the cause.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So,

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_00]: you know,

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_00]: but I mean,

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_00]: you know,

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_00]: there's a little bit of bacteria.

[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Salmonella.

[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_04]: That's,

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_04]: big egg is trying to keep you from some,

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_04]: or trying,

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_04]: your own salmonella.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I think a lot of suffering from salmonella.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I was,

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I was going to count how many puns Brando did and you beat him to number one.

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_02]: That's been a handful of puns already.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_02]: A basket worth.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_02]: If you know,

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_02]: that didn't,

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_02]: that didn't work.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Basket worth of puns.

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_02]: That didn't work.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_01]: What do we think about the deal here?

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Was like,

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_01]: some people are saying Jeff was too soft.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Some were saying like,

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh,

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_01]: that was too low of a number to go for.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Was either side,

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_01]: the loser here.

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_00]: just a quick clarification question before we talk about logistics.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Did Jeff say that the eggs will hatch chickens?

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I swear.

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he meant hatch,

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_02]: but he definitely say hatch.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he meant that either.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause I'm pretty sure those are unfertilized and those are not going to become

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_00]: chickens.

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay,

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_00]: great.

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I just wanted to put that out there.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Richard on the mind.

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say,

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was a really interesting move to swap the chickens for the eggs

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_02]: long-term,

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_02]: right?

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Because if you're on a tribe who won this reward,

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_02]: you're not planning on eating the chickens.

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You're kind of screwing over.

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's say you get voted out right when the merge starts,

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: right?

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: You now have this resource that the other tribes can't take advantage of that

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_02]: you earn.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think that was a really interesting move.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if that's what they intended to do.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Um,

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_02]: but as far as like the longevity of the reward,

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought that was interesting.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_01]: it is interesting.

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like this is the first instance.

[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that we have specifically themed reward trades.

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Like we saw in Sam on Del Sora was,

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey,

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_01]: we want to trade in our extra flint for fishing gear.

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_01]: This was specifically,

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey,

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_01]: we want the second place prize instead of the first place prize,

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_01]: which was linked to eggs,

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_01]: but it's just such.

[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_01]: And also given the life cycle of a chicken as well felt,

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know,

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_01]: very philosophical.

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Did I miss in exit press who or what was keeping the guy to try from

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_04]: killing the chicken?

[00:21:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know who that was.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I know Anika.

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I think I saw a clip of her saying that she would have liked to have

[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_04]: killed the chicken.

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it was probably Sierra.

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_01]: listen,

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Sierra was holding a lot of power and she's like,

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_01]: no,

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I went to a winery with a chicken once.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Please have an emotional attachment to it.

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't drink Merlot again.

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_01]: If you kill one of these things,

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I do think,

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_04]: it's,

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_04]: it obviously like I would not kill a chick.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I would,

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I would,

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm in on the chicken being killed.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I do not want to physically,

[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I would Marley and me the chicken.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_04]: If that was an option where we could euthanize it or something,

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_04]: we can,

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_04]: we can have nice music playing.

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to just like do it.

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_04]: That takes a strong willpower.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_04]: James Clement.

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_04]: If you have James Clement there,

[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_04]: he can kill the chicken.

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_04]: But I do think that 18 eggs does seem high.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_04]: It seems like it,

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe like,

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_04]: and again,

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I want all my friends to have food and these people are,

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_04]: are fantastic.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Like one in one in six,

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_04]: like six eggs,

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_04]: like one egg for each person.

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Um,

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_04]: but 18,

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess,

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Jeff put out the math.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_04]: 18 makes sense,

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_04]: but I'm not,

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_04]: that's his prerogative.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I wonder if they did it calorie based.

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_00]: It was okay.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_00]: this is the equivalent in calories to a chicken is six eggs.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So you get an equal amount of calories.

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm more questioning why they felt the need to stick to eggs as what they were going to barter.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm saying.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you don't need to go back.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to cook.

[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_00]: That's so great.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah,

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_00]: exactly.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Instead of an eggs,

[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_00]: we get an egg salad sandwich,

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_00]: you know?

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So something that are,

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah,

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_00]: you can sort of immediately consume,

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_00]: especially you have an inkling that like,

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_00]: you're going to end up merging soon.

[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_00]: So I would imagine,

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_00]: okay,

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_00]: let's get something resources for us that we can consume quickly.

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's what I'm intrigued by as well,

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_01]: especially if they are going to bring eggs to the next stage,

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: which is like,

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_01]: yes,

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: it is God is eggs,

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_01]: but are we going to be dealing with like,

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_01]: for lack of better term,

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_01]: egg ticket of like people starting to take eggs and eat them from other tribes?

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And could that cause some skirmishes?

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Like a Sandra esque.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Somebody eats all the eggs,

[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_02]: blames it on somebody else.

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah,

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to edit that Rome's going to eat all the eggs.

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And then who's Rome going to blame it on?

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a thousand.

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Rome is immediately going for the eggs.

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_04]: There's no,

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_04]: there's no scenario where it's not Rome going for the eggs.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I just,

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm curious of who he says,

[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_04]: or you might not even say anybody else to be,

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_04]: he might just say,

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Hey,

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_04]: they're all,

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_04]: we're all together.

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I would think for sure.

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_04]: They're going to scramble.

[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm saying.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_01]: There we go.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It will not,

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_01]: it will not go over easy.

[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Certainly not.

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_01]: But I could see like,

[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_01]: if I'm Rome,

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I know,

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I would say like,

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to eat all the eggs at once.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe like bury them like a sea turtle.

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Like,

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah,

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: like a sea turtle.

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to hatch and then the chickens are going to crawl into the ocean.

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_00]: don't not.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_00]: wait,

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_00]: who is it?

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Was it,

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_00]: what season was it where they found the turtles?

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_00]: That was,

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_01]: that was 40 and 41.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01]: The little sea turtles represented them.

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It was so cute.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_01]: The sea.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they should have asked for sea turtle eggs.

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh my God.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_04]: There's a scene in,

[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_04]: in the Adam Sandler movie,

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_04]: big daddy,

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_04]: where,

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_04]: where Adam Sandler is bringing the child to go trick or treat.

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_04]: And the guy doesn't have anything.

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_04]: And he like,

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_04]: shows them away.

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So Adam Sandler breaks into the house and is like,

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_04]: what do you have?

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Like,

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_04]: give us what you need.

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_04]: And the guy's putting CDs in the bag.

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I think he takes off his watch.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what the shakedown should have been for the God of tribe is like,

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_04]: we're going to give you this,

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_04]: but like,

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_04]: what else is here?

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_04]: What else is it within a 15 foot radius from where you're standing that we

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_04]: can just,

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_04]: we'll take anything.

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Well,

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I think the negotiation you have to start.

[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously I understand you start high.

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_00]: No expert negotiation,

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_00]: but like you start high,

[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_00]: but if you start too high,

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_00]: does Jeff just laugh you out the door?

[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So if they had gone for,

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_00]: we want,

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_00]: you know,

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_00]: a new car and blah,

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_00]: blah,

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: blah,

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: blah,

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: blah.

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And Jeff's just going to be like,

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_00]: get out of here.

[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not,

[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_00]: you know,

[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_00]: something on that.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Jeff,

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_02]: can we get a truck?

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Can we bring back?

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_00]: So that,

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_00]: that way we could just,

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_00]: you know,

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_00]: just like take the car to the immunity or use the car in the immunity

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_00]: challenge.

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh,

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_01]: well,

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah,

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I've talked about this previously about like what would happen if a

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_01]: car was a contested,

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_01]: no rules against it.

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You've talked about that previously.

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I have.

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I talked about cars universe.

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_01]: In survivor South Africa,

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_01]: they edited their car sponsor into like shots from the show.

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And so I thought what would happen if a car,

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_01]: was a contestant.

[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I think there are benefits and drawbacks to it.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_04]: I like,

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I can picture the car in a medical situation.

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_04]: And Dr.

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Joe just running over with like a big red tank of,

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_04]: of gas and like put it in really quick.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Cause the car was too exhausted.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh,

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Liana,

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_04]: we're sucking at the punts.

[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Although you had the first scramble.

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_04]: So I think I'm sucking at the punts.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Would Dr.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Joe have to like,

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I ran out of gas already.

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It's fine.

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Would Dr.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Joe have to wear like a mechanic jumpsuit and come in and just be

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_01]: like,

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_01]: all right,

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_01]: well,

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_01]: didn't expect that by doing this.

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Here we go.

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Well,

[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_04]: you know what?

[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_04]: With all the folks that have been on survivor 700 plus,

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_04]: and they used to,

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_04]: dress more to like what you do it in everyday life.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_04]: No mechanic jumpsuits.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_04]: We,

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_04]: you'd think we'd have a mechanic jumpsuit by now.

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_00]: We've got nothing more jumpsuits,

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_04]: more jumpsuits,

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_04]: more jumpsuits,

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_00]: more jumpsuits,

[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_00]: any kind of jumpsuit.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Would you want to wear a jumpsuit?

[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say,

[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_02]: because if your top half or your bottom half gets wet,

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_02]: then you lose everything,

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_02]: right?

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_02]: If it's all connected.

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So do you make it a two piece?

[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you immediately like take the hatchet to it and cut it into two

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_01]: pieces?

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Also the,

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_04]: the breakaway pants have never made it.

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_04]: And if you're,

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_04]: yes,

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_04]: the zip off cargoes also,

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_04]: what's that?

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_02]: We've had people cut off their pants.

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_02]: We've,

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_02]: have we had zip off cargoes?

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think zip off cargo.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the only one I could think of,

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_01]: yes,

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_01]: it was Chad,

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_01]: right?

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause wasn't that Chad's big reveal in Vanuatu was he had the

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_01]: little like zip off pants that he zipped off the bottom half

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_01]: of his pants to reveal he was an amputee.

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_04]: That he did.

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_04]: He said,

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_04]: you guys think I made it here pretty good.

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_04]: And everybody was like,

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_04]: yeah,

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_04]: you did.

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_04]: And then boom reveal.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_00]: But imagine if he had tear away pants.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine that reveal.

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah,

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_04]: not enough.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what they should have negotiated for.

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Who needs food?

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You can get tear away pants.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly,

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_01]: they should negotiate for like clothes.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Jeff,

[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_01]: can I have your shoes?

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Jeff,

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_00]: can I have your shoes?

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Hats,

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_00]: sunglasses.

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I would die for a pair of sunglasses out there.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_01]: you never know until you ask.

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I also was thinking,

[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_01]: could they have bartered with the other tribes?

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Could they have been like,

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey,

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_01]: you give us,

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_01]: how many eggs have you eaten?

[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Can we have them?

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_01]: If we give you a chicken.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Can we take Saul if possible?

[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Can we give these chickens?

[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_02]: How many chickens is Saul worth?

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Well,

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_02]: you're trading food for another mouth to feed.

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's kind of balanced.

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_05]: Right.

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_05]: I think it works.

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_05]: It's true.

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_00]: No,

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_05]: I would take Saul.

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_05]: If I had my pick from anybody from the other tribes,

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_05]: I would take Saul.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_00]: you have to,

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_00]: he's like reasonable,

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_00]: calm,

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_00]: strong.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_00]: you definitely would want him.

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_01]: He says when things go wrong.

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Lights,

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_00]: lights up like the sun.

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_04]: The fart was interesting.

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_04]: The new era,

[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_04]: a big,

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_04]: big fart era for survival.

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_04]: There's been a couple of fart scenes in the new era.

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if we call Saul saying fart a fart scene,

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_04]: but you know,

[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Danny famously farts in that one challenge,

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_04]: famously doing a lot of heavy work in the sentence,

[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_04]: but he does.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Well,

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_04]: famous for you,

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess.

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_00]: You remember that.

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Not me.

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Other people are talking about it.

[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Not me.

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_05]: Not me.

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_05]: Brandon doesn't have a spreadsheet full of every fart room.

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm just going to close the tab.

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Hold on one second.

[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I wonder,

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if like,

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe,

[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Saul's a relatively new guy to the show.

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he like very much low balls,

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_01]: the age rating for survivors.

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It was like,

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't swear on the show.

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_01]: So let me come up with all of these other curses.

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a good,

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_04]: that's a good,

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_04]: a good,

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_04]: uh,

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_04]: listen,

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_04]: you get camera time.

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_04]: You throw a fart out there.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You get camera time.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Shout out to Danny.

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Well,

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_00]: well,

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_00]: shout out to Andy.

[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of the like intense moments,

[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy's voting confessional.

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Mike,

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_00]: you've talked about voting confessional before,

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and this was one,

[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I think what I've been,

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I've been burying you for the past 10 days.

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's your headstone or something like that.

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It was such a good television.

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It was amazing.

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know where this Andy has been,

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_00]: but this was felt,

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_00]: he's obviously been a focus for a lot of the episodes,

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_00]: but this really felt like a breakout in a different direction for him

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_00]: because we see him talking about,

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00]: this is my fake plan.

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I put this fake plan in place.

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And then to end everything with that final headstone moment,

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I really,

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_00]: really enjoyed from him.

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It was almost like he just got this second life out there.

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess it's maybe because the action on Gata has not really been

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_01]: focused on like this Andy Anika rivalry.

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess like,

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: even though Andy does vote out John,

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_01]: he was brought in on John's last minute plan to vote on a cut.

[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So I guess it like has been something,

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_01]: but yeah,

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_01]: it was a little full,

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_01]: like Steve Moses,

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Becky from big brother 17.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_01]: And that like,

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Andy comes in and be like,

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I hate her guts.

[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I need to see her head roll.

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like,

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_01]: where did this come from,

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_01]: dude?

[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I would have loved if he gave that voted voting confessional and

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_02]: then got voted out himself and they still showed it.

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh,

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_02]: amazing.

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Really good TV.

[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I wish they would have shown mine.

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I held up my,

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_02]: my drew frowny face.

[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And I said,

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_02]: it looks like you drew the short end of the stick.

[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh,

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_00]: they should have aired it anyway.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing.

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you gotta don't,

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_01]: you gotta leave money on the table.

[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_01]: You have 90 minutes,

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_01]: like show those voting confessionals.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Annika changed the game for folks who didn't have a vote after

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_04]: holding up the thing.

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Cause I,

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I had no vote and I walked up to the thing.

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw it.

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_04]: And then I just talked to the camera much as like I'm doing

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: now,

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: but actually holding it.

[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that's how you get that on TV is holding up the

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_04]: thing that says you can't vote.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I regretted not looking for the pen.

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Cause I would have liked to have just,

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I never got to use the pen.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I would have liked to have just written.

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_04]: The pen was so cool.

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_04]: The pen was really cool.

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a cool pen.

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It's interesting.

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause like,

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_01]: there's also a bit of a meta evolution to it.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause I was there for the first tribal council of 39 where

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Elizabeth Basil did not have a vote.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And she had to physically write down no vote on her piece of paper.

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_01]: There was no placard that said like,

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_01]: yep,

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_01]: it's disregarded.

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: She had to legitimately write it down.

[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_01]: So that like,

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember if Jeff pulled out something that said no vote or if

[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_01]: it's just like,

[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah,

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I forgot.

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess we have to throw it away.

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_01]: But it was such an odd thing compared to the relatively railroaded

[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_01]: way.

[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_01]: They do things now.

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_04]: And there's something to be said for like taking time in the voting

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_04]: booth.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Cause I remember that I went up there.

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_04]: I said to the,

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I was like,

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I,

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_04]: mom and dad didn't go great.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I love you.

[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_04]: And then I walked out,

[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_04]: but there is something to be said for like staying there for like a

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_04]: couple extra minutes.

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_04]: They're not going to tell you to go down,

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_04]: and then everybody else who's voting thinks that you may have

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_04]: something,

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_04]: even if they've already all voted,

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_04]: it is nice to like scare them for a couple of minutes.

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that's like,

[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_04]: that's funny to go out the door,

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_04]: like having them worry if you had something,

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_04]: at least for the 20 minutes it takes until you're voted out.

[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Could you just be up there working on your tie five?

[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You're like,

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_00]: look,

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to take advantage of this.

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I have a camera fixed on me,

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_00]: baby.

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going through my jokes.

[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I could have done all the second boots up there.

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why.

[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Or that's when you just smear your eggs all over the voting booth.

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_01]: So the next person that asked him,

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like,

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: what the hell?

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a new evolution is like,

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm obviously this isn't allowed,

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_04]: but like for conjecture is writing something somewhere else.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Like you can do like graffiti on the table or something,

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_04]: nobody's doing graffiti on the table.

[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_00]: that's amazing.

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I really love that idea.

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I also have to go back to the eggs.

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Can you actually take supplies with you?

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause we see people obviously get voted out with idols or clothes or

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_00]: whatever,

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_00]: but could you just like take the fishing gear and just like hold it

[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_00]: while you're sitting there and then be like,

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_00]: you guys vote me out.

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm taking the fishing gear with me.

[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I think you can take whatever you wanted.

[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think they would stop you.

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't there,

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_04]: but I do know that when Sabaya was voted out,

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_04]: she did have a machete in her bag.

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_04]: And then there was a Angelina esque moment asking for the machete back.

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_04]: And I don't recall.

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I should,

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I've heard this story now many times.

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I should know this,

[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_04]: but I think that she gave it back.

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't remember.

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Or she might've walked over there and then they got another one,

[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_04]: but that is something that has happened.

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what you do with the eggs.

[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_01]: So I think that's the thing is like,

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_01]: then do you have to relegate somebody to like watch over the fishing gear?

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So it doesn't get taken by somebody else.

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause it is a good question of like big Wendy took the Flint and sat on the

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Flint.

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_01]: What's to say that you can't do that with any other thing at camp as long as

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_01]: it's not personal property.

[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_00]: that's why Jeff takes the Flint.

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So you can't steal it.

[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_00]: We thought it was like a punishment,

[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_00]: but it was actually a benefit.

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It was like,

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_00]: sorry for you,

[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_00]: but also like,

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_00]: you know,

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_00]: sorry for you.

[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_04]: He's doing loss prevention.

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Like they have it.

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: You walk out with the Flint,

[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_01]: a dye bag explodes in your face.

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to put those things on every side of the path that you walk

[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_00]: out of tribal council.

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_01]: That's really what that,

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_01]: that arc is when you walk out of tribal council,

[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_01]: just one big security scanner.

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah,

[00:34:40] exactly.

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_05]: No,

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_05]: I people,

[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_05]: and I'm going to,

[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to pivot hard,

[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_04]: but people talk badly about the,

[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_04]: the abandoned season 41 idea with Rick Devins working like the store.

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_04]: You know,

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_04]: there was,

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_04]: that was supposed to be a thing of Rick Devins works the store with the

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_04]: bandages and stuff.

[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that's the coolest thing in the world.

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And I hope that it's,

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_04]: if,

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_04]: if Rick Devins himself is not on the eventual season 50,

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I hope the store is there.

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_04]: If they're taking applications,

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I would like to potentially work at the store.

[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_05]: I do think that,

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_05]: you know,

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_05]: you could build in so many fun,

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_05]: little like Easter egg mechanics,

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_05]: like the,

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_04]: the little buzzer things.

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_04]: When you walk out,

[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_04]: when you're stealing,

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I think there's so much opportunity to make the survivor store.

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_04]: And listen,

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_04]: if you're listening to this and you hate this idea and they end up doing it,

[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_04]: don't tag me.

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't,

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to hear about it.

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Tag Brando.

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_04]: He's here.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_05]: Tag anybody.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_05]: You know,

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_05]: I mean,

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I would love if they like staffed the survivor shop of a bunch of alumni to just be there.

[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's an actual convenience store,

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: like the sanctuary that you go to habitually.

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_04]: They would make me be like the overwhelmed stock boy.

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Who's like putting in cans and I'm fucking sweating.

[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_04]: You know,

[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_05]: I can,

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_05]: I can really picture that.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_05]: That's it.

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Brandon,

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_05]: what would you do in the store?

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_05]: What would be?

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_05]: They'd have me doing math in the background.

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm adding up.

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Jeff,

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: if you're giving away 18 eggs,

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_01]: you're putting us in the red.

[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I pull like an abacus.

[00:36:01] Yeah.

[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh,

[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_07]: that's so great.

[00:36:05] That's fun.

[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_01]: What's that?

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it would be fun.

[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_01]: listen,

[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_01]: like they've already gone above and beyond doing like the,

[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_01]: the printouts of the banner.

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I think they could aesthetically decorate an entire convenience store to set up at some

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_01]: part of the Island.

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_04]: What would the name be?

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Is there a good name that I'm like,

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm,

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I'm floating on the Jeffy Mart or something.

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Jeffy Mart.

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Jeffy Mart.

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I like the Jeffy Mart.

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe that's it.

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Meeting adjourned.

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_04]: We got it.

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_01]: We did it.

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_01]: We can all go home.

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Well,

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_01]: let us get into our usual thoroughfare here on the B and B and let us go back to the

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_01]: woman of the hour and a half.

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about Anika here because Anika,

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_01]: it was,

[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_01]: it was a big five episodes.

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I would say that ended with a big finish.

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Liana,

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_01]: you and I have been in lockstep this entire time.

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_01]: You and I have both thought that survivor 47 would go a very particular way.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_01]: See if we can make it five for five.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_01]: How did you think that Anika was going to do preseason?

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah,

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_00]: this one was brutal for me in terms of the predictions.

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I had her making the finale.

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So this puts a really big wrinkle into everything.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So this might be the place where we deviate.

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I said that despite being a project manager,

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Anika plays a solid under the radar game after a rocky start of losing her vote at the first

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_00]: journey of the season,

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_00]: which takes away any agency.

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_00]: She has pre jury.

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_00]: She forms tight bonds with Sam and come the merge teeny.

[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_00]: However,

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_00]: her once close alliance falls apart.

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_00]: When teeny convinces Anika to betray Sam,

[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_00]: citing him as a massive individual immunity beast.

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_00]: With Sam on the jury,

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_00]: he counterclaims all of Anika's moves in the final tribal council.

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_00]: As a result,

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_00]: she only receives one vote to win.

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Her ally and her enemy were both Sam.

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So there's a universe where this happens.

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Interesting.

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_01]: So you had her then come,

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_01]: not to like pronunciate too much.

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You had her losing,

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: but was she like a,

[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_01]: was it like a,

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_01]: what?

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Six,

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: one,

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: one vote in the end or five,

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_01]: two,

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_01]: one.

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember,

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_00]: but she got,

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd have to go back and look at my other predictions,

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_00]: but she got one vote.

[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And I also specified specifically it was from Sue.

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_00]: So,

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_00]: you know,

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_00]: that counts.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_01]: All right,

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_01]: there we go.

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Well,

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_01]: to your point,

[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Liana,

[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_01]: this is where I leave you.

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And this is where I left Anika in the pre jury.

[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I said that true to her own preseason prediction,

[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_01]: any intention that Anika had to not take charge,

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_01]: it goes out the window.

[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_01]: She almost immediately steps up to get got a good with John

[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_01]: immediately gravitating to the got a gals.

[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_01]: They quickly form a majority Alliance and her eyes are set on Sam,

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_01]: who she never quite trusted from all of his Ponderosa journal,

[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Anika is sent off on a journey and unfortunately loses her vote.

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_01]: She comes back and tells the truth to her tribe,

[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_01]: but John begins to get paranoid after seeing her behavior after her

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_01]: return.

[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_01]: As a result,

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_01]: the men and Sierra turn on Anika and Rachel,

[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_01]: and we get to see Anika self-proclaimed expressiveness in the wake of

[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_01]: her blind side.

[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And I said,

[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_01]: her closest ally would be Rachel and her enemies would be John and Sam.

[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So she was the first boot from Gata for you.

[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_01]: She was.

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.

[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_00]: well,

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_00]: it's a little bit of a done deal.

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Not exactly a competition here.

[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I like that.

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We both had the,

[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_00]: her losing her vote.

[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I guess we just felt like,

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_00]: yep,

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_00]: she's going to lose her vote.

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why.

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_01]: to be fair,

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_01]: like Brandon could speak to this,

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_01]: like the vast majority of time,

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_01]: you do lose your vote when you go on a journey.

[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_04]: So you do that.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_04]: You know,

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_04]: people complaining about the game of chance.

[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I had to do it.

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I would have loved the game of chance would have been better for

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_04]: you,

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_04]: boy.

[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I do think regarding Anika,

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Anika has every skill to like do really well and to win survivor.

[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_04]: And it just,

[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_04]: as our,

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_04]: they don't cast people who they think will lose or go out,

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_04]: in a specific fashion.

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Like they cast everybody with the intent to win.

[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_04]: And they cast some people with the,

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_04]: not hope to win by any means,

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_04]: but they cast everybody with the intent to win.

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_04]: They cast five or six people knowing they could very well win.

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_04]: And Anika is one of those people.

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Anika is one of those people on any season that she's on.

[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And sometimes those people go far,

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_04]: sometimes they win.

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_04]: And sometimes they're out around where she's out,

[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_04]: but it's a testament to her.

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Jeff said it on the,

[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_04]: on fire podcast,

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_04]: she has,

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_04]: every skill and more to be able to really deliver at survivor.

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_04]: And,

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_04]: this time it didn't work out,

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_04]: but in a world where they do like a all pre jury season,

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_04]: or a,

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_04]: return of the outcast in South Africa had half pre jury,

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_04]: half everybody else.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Like she could,

[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_04]: she could really,

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_04]: really in another world,

[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_04]: make a big run at this thing.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_04]: And this is a loss for all of us.

[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Cause you know,

[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I read all the online chatter.

[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_04]: People really enjoyed her confessionals as well as just seeing her

[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_04]: navigate the game.

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_04]: So it's a loss.

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_04]: And,

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_04]: the,

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_04]: the season's going to be great,

[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_04]: but I do think that,

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_04]: we're going to,

[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_04]: we're going to miss,

[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_04]: we're going to miss this one.

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I loved the,

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_01]: the personality that she brought.

[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I think she very much not to say like,

[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_01]: she surprised me in that I thought she'd be a particular way,

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_01]: but like,

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I loved how much she was herself from the beginning,

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_01]: whether it was also like her tension with Sam,

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_01]: whether it was her saying that Andy was giving toxic,

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_01]: clingy boyfriend,

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_01]: like it was.

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And of course with that exit,

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_01]: like,

[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I think she was a very fun personality.

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Brando,

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_01]: is there a chance that like all of you Bay area pre mergers can just

[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_01]: do an LRG one day because there's so many of you accumulating.

[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And we're all Asian for some reason,

[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_02]: which is crazy.

[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_02]: We should.

[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll,

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll try to,

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll try to get that going.

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_02]: That'd be a lot of fun.

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_02]: The,

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_02]: the Asian pre merge Bay area,

[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_02]: California.

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_02]: My winner pick is Jessica Chong.

[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I want to see Jessica Chong to survivor.

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_04]: It's so bad.

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it'll be so much better.

[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_01]: She'll be very well rested by comparison.

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it'll be okay.

[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I really,

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm,

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm hoping for it,

[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_04]: but yeah,

[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_04]: we,

[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_04]: it's a good group and this,

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_04]: this pre jury so far,

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_04]: not to talk poorly or in any way about any other pre jury,

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_04]: but this is like,

[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_04]: you're getting like,

[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_04]: whether it's blind set after blind set,

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_04]: whatever,

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_04]: but you're also getting,

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_04]: people in,

[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_04]: in another world that can do super,

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_04]: super well.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_04]: So I do think that's the same amongst most seasons,

[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_04]: but this one in particular,

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_04]: I think you're getting that you're getting a really talented pre

[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_04]: This one's definitely it's top seven for me for sure.

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Well,

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I want to ask about that.

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Cause I put out there.

[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah,

[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_01]: of course.

[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks,

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Brando.

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh,

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_01]: that,

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_01]: uh,

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_01]: this up against for me,

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_01]: 42.

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I really enjoyed,

[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I really enjoyed 45 as well.

[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I certainly made my opinions known at the moment that like,

[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't really care necessarily about it.

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the show that much.

[00:42:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But I think for me,

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_01]: to your point,

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_01]: there's just so much contained in here.

[00:42:42] [SPEAKER_01]: There is some wild gameplay.

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_01]: We have gotten some pretty interesting power shifts over the course of

[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_01]: only five votes.

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It helps that everyone has gone to tribal council at least once.

[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_01]: There are a couple of things like,

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: the,

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: the journey where Annika was basically forced to give up her vote.

[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't great.

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_01]: The summit was like the social hour was fine,

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_01]: but I think,

[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_01]: we're continuing on from this trend of 46 of just like pure mess and

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_01]: conflict.

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's very exciting to see.

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And it also being supported with some very interesting gameplay made for a

[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_01]: very,

[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_01]: very solid pre-merge in my opinion.

[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_01]: And I personally think the best we've seen since the show came back.

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_00]: If I'm not exactly sure in my rankings,

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_00]: where it would go,

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd really have to think about it.

[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_00]: But one of the takeaways that I've had from the,

[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_00]: this season so far is I'm really invested in every single tribe.

[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if that's a consequence of that.

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_00]: We've seen it spread out,

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_00]: right?

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The first three tribal councils,

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_00]: three different tribes when we of course saw Lavo go back and,

[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and,

[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and gotta go back,

[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_00]: but it was just nice to have that spread out a little bit more.

[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So maybe it's the editors are having to spend more time actually building

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_00]: storylines on each tribe because everybody does go to tribal.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_00]: So maybe it's something along those lines,

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_00]: but I do.

[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_00]: There isn't a tribe where I'm like,

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_00]: okay,

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't really care if they go to tribal every single tribe.

[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm like,

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I care if they go to tribal.

[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to know what happens.

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah,

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_04]: certainly.

[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that,

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I think too,

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_04]: that having each,

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_04]: tribe go to tribal council lets you,

[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_04]: stating the obvious here,

[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_04]: but you get to have a personal relationship with each person.

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Whereas like just contrasting with 45,

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I do think that we spent so much time with my team that it's like,

[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_04]: you,

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_04]: you,

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_04]: you lose,

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_04]: the relationships that you have with people on the other two tribes and

[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_04]: survive 45,

[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_04]: they're the folks that ended up going far or have a super,

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_04]: fun or exciting run as opposed to this one where it kind of just feels

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_04]: wide open because not that the edit in 45 was,

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_04]: was not equal,

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_04]: but I mean,

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_04]: sure.

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_04]: But also I think that here you,

[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_04]: it feels very much like an even playing field.

[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Whereas the folks that got voted out of survive 47 feel completed in a

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_04]: weird way.

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Like you feel like satisfied each time because you're spending so much time

[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_04]: with them as opposed to maybe,

[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_04]: it's one,

[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_04]: two,

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_04]: tribes.

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah,

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I'd agree with that.

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Like even Brando,

[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_01]: like you had your sort of like flash in,

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_01]: the,

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it was episode two with being in the middle,

[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_01]: but then like you kind of fade into the background for those other two.

[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_01]: And it does feel like,

[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_01]: people sort of dip out.

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We talked about Jill,

[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Genevieve,

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_01]: obviously like really coming to the forefront last episode,

[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_01]: but this does feel like one of those seasons where we have both a

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_01]: handle on who each person is,

[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_01]: as well as seemingly what they're standing is in the game as well,

[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_01]: which is again,

[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_01]: like a perfect formula.

[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm really intrigued by all of the Caroline content.

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_02]: We got at the social hour,

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_02]: because I feel like we're getting a lot of both cross tribe and her like

[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_02]: interpersonal relationship with Sue.

[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm curious to see how that's going to go since they,

[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_02]: they've only been to travel,

[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_02]: you know,

[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_02]: the,

[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_02]: the one time.

[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Um,

[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_02]: so I'm really curious to see why they're putting so much time into that,

[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_02]: uh,

[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_02]: sort of position specifically.

[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_00]: and I also to add on top of that,

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_00]: it,

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_00]: when you go,

[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_00]: we go back to Tuku and then it's,

[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_00]: the story is really about Sue,

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Gabe,

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Tiana.

[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So why is Caroline being sort of,

[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to say like pigeonholed in there,

[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_00]: but it feels like,

[00:46:02] [SPEAKER_00]: okay,

[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_00]: but we're getting this from Caroline's perspective about her saying,

[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm the mother hen.

[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to corral,

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_00]: which is funny given the fact that they give up the chickens.

[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Mrs.

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Peppers could never.

[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So she is like trying to corral the rest of Tuku.

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_00]: She's like,

[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm the one who needs to get,

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_00]: uh,

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Tiana to apologize.

[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm the one who wants us to all move forward together.

[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_00]: So there does feel like a lot from her perspective,

[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_00]: which is very interesting to me,

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_00]: which says,

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_00]: okay,

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_00]: something's going to happen.

[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously in merge is a reason why we're being shown this.

[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So is it just have to do with the Tuku dynamics or because as

[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Brando mentioned,

[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_00]: we're seeing other relationships from the other tribes.

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Is she the orchestrator?

[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You know,

[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_00]: is she going to be the one to really again,

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_00]: corral the chickens and bring everybody together,

[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_00]: maybe for the first vote that intrigues me and actually gives me

[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_00]: something interesting about Caroline,

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_00]: which we hadn't seen a ton of before.

[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So there is something interesting for each person that I'm very

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_00]: curious to see what happens,

[00:46:53] [SPEAKER_00]: uh,

[00:46:54] [SPEAKER_00]: moving forward.

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Well,

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_01]: especially cause also now we have like,

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_01]: we've had a couple of opportunities for cross tribal stuff.

[00:47:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And it seems like someone like Caroline did take the bait and was

[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_01]: like,

[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey,

[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_01]: let's work on something.

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Also helps that Rachel is like,

[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_01]: well,

[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_01]: my closest ally just got voted out.

[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Now I was left out of the vote by my tribe.

[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Hello.

[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_01]: So let's all work together.

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_01]: So as much as Caroline,

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I think is going to try to push like,

[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey,

[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_01]: five is a plurality.

[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's move forward together.

[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh,

[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I think this will luckily open up some,

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_01]: some very fun,

[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_01]: exciting greener pastures where we're,

[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_01]: we might be dealing more with like,

[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_01]: okay,

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_01]: here are all these,

[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_01]: duos and trios just working together.

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Mishmash as opposed to,

[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_01]: okay,

[00:47:34] [SPEAKER_01]: this is a big chunk.

[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_01]: That's going to work together.

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll allow the re before for a long time.

[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And then eventually split apart when,

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_01]: the chips are down.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah,

[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_00]: totally.

[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I,

[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Caroline is my winner.

[00:47:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh,

[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean,

[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_04]: and again,

[00:47:50] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe this is in my head cause I want it to be true so bad,

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_04]: but like,

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_04]: if you look at the scenes of the two good tribe,

[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_04]: like strategizing,

[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Caroline is like always around.

[00:47:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Like,

[00:47:58] [SPEAKER_04]: like she's always like present in the scene,

[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_04]: whether she's in the conversation or not,

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_04]: she's there.

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_04]: And I,

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I think I had said this a couple of weeks ago,

[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_04]: but like in a season of like really big personalities,

[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_04]: like they're highlighting how big Rome's personality is,

[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_04]: how big,

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_04]: John's was,

[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_04]: how big Andy's was,

[00:48:14] [SPEAKER_04]: whatever.

[00:48:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that a really fun editing thing is to like the person who maybe on

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_04]: paper,

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't even want to say has the smallest personality,

[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_04]: but maybe just in comparison to everybody else feels a little bit more

[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_04]: muted.

[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Like that's the person who's always in the background making the decision

[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_04]: that you made.

[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Caroline had the line when she was at the social hour that said like,

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not playing cornhole.

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm playing survivor.

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I'm not going to take a break.

[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a good line.

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a really good line.

[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Great line.

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And I think that,

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_04]: you know,

[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm,

[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm on the,

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_04]: if Caroline,

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_04]: if there was a name for what,

[00:48:41] [SPEAKER_04]: like the Caroline train,

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_04]: the Caroline caravan,

[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_04]: something.

[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Ooh,

[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I like that.

[00:48:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Caroline,

[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Caroline carriage,

[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_04]: the Caroline carriage.

[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I am driving it.

[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_04]: That was me doing the thing that people do to horses.

[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_04]: You know,

[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm,

[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_04]: if I'm in the front car,

[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't,

[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm just not whipping.

[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't,

[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_04]: don't worry.

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't worry.

[00:49:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I know you were on the fence about that money for me.

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_04]: See it.

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't worry.

[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_04]: You can still retroactively write.

[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Bring it back.

[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Bring it back.

[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Bring it back.

[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll see about that.

[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:49:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's time for us to get into our activity of the day.

[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And we are going to be doing something very special,

[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_00]: very near and dear to my heart.

[00:49:24] [SPEAKER_00]: When the two of you were going to come on the BNB,

[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I knew what I had to do.

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And that is a choose your own adventure.

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_00]: So we are going to be playing a choose your own adventure story.

[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It is a tradition on the BNB that you must come up with a character,

[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_00]: a name,

[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_00]: a description,

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_00]: motivation.

[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I believe last time we did this was the premiere of 45.

[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And what was the name of your clown character?

[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Mike,

[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_00]: you and Kevin Jacobs came up with some clown character.

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Was it a clown or was it?

[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah.

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a clown,

[00:49:56] [SPEAKER_01]: but he talked with like a very husky voice.

[00:50:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_00]: That I don't remember.

[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember.

[00:50:03] [SPEAKER_01]: There was one that I think I was a calendar model in.

[00:50:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Then there was the cloud.

[00:50:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the clown was last time.

[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:50:10] [SPEAKER_01]: That was also the one where we drowned in one of these universes.

[00:50:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_01]: That's in the marooning.

[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So is a possibility.

[00:50:16] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just going to throw that out there.

[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_00]: So therefore you must come up with the name of your character.

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Who's going to be participating in the choose your own adventure story.

[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_00]: If we have any ideas,

[00:50:28] [SPEAKER_00]: any inspiration that we could throw out there to start the brainstorming process.

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean,

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I already got mine locked in.

[00:50:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh,

[00:50:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I've been,

[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_02]: you know,

[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I've really been thinking about club penguin recently.

[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And this takes me back to my,

[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_02]: my very first club penguin character was named gob Don after my paternal

[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_02]: grandfather,

[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_02]: who's named Gordon.

[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think I'm going to be going with gob Don for my.

[00:50:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So was it just the name Gordon,

[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_02]: but you subbed out an R for a B.

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh,

[00:50:56] [SPEAKER_02]: cause I'm,

[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm Brando.

[00:50:57] [SPEAKER_02]: You gotta,

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_02]: you know,

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_02]: put my,

[00:50:59] [SPEAKER_02]: my touch in there somewhere.

[00:51:00] [SPEAKER_00]: You all have to be gob Don because you always a collective.

[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not,

[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_00]: you're not choosing your own.

[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know.

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know it was collective.

[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_00]: You can each have a run at the story.

[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_00]: If you want,

[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_00]: it's the same.

[00:51:12] [SPEAKER_01]: How about gob Don is his first name and Francis chooses the last name.

[00:51:16] [SPEAKER_05]: You choose the middle name.

[00:51:17] [SPEAKER_05]: I too was going to go with gob Don.

[00:51:19] [SPEAKER_07]: That's so weird.

[00:51:20] [SPEAKER_05]: I do think that it's easier if we just do gob Don.

[00:51:24] [SPEAKER_05]: Gob Don is great.

[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_05]: You think,

[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_05]: Brando,

[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_05]: are you the only person that's ever named your club penguin avatar after your

[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_05]: grandfather?

[00:51:31] [SPEAKER_05]: Probably.

[00:51:32] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:51:32] [SPEAKER_05]: I was like four or five.

[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_05]: I believe that's great.

[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_05]: Long may he rain.

[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm just,

[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just obsessed with like,

[00:51:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to give,

[00:51:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to give it my own little touch and it's not going to be board in.

[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be,

[00:51:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm smack in the middle.

[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Gob Don.

[00:51:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:51:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don.

[00:51:47] [SPEAKER_05]: Gob Don.

[00:51:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So do you want to give Gob Don a last name or is Gob Don's last name?

[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Just Gob Don.

[00:51:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's Gob Don,

[00:51:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don.

[00:51:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And then Mike,

[00:51:53] [SPEAKER_00]: do you want to give a middle name for Gob Don,

[00:51:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don?

[00:51:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don.

[00:51:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don,

[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don,

[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don.

[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Impossible.

[00:52:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We're not the host Leon.

[00:52:06] [SPEAKER_01]: The twist is if you say his name three times,

[00:52:08] [SPEAKER_01]: he finds an idol.

[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh.

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_00]: All I can say is I'm so happy that we're using pronouns for the majority of

[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_00]: this.

[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So I can just say you and I don't have to continue to say Gob Don,

[00:52:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don,

[00:52:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don.

[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_00]: But I do appreciate it.

[00:52:20] [SPEAKER_00]: The whole legal name.

[00:52:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_00]: you know,

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_00]: that's what,

[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_00]: well,

[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I guess,

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:52:24] [SPEAKER_00]: if Jeff calls you by your first name or your last name,

[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Gob Don is covered because it's going to be Gob Don regardless.

[00:52:30] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's good.

[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad that we've,

[00:52:32] [SPEAKER_00]: we figured that out.

[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Has Jeff ever middle named anybody?

[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh,

[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_01]: that's a good question.

[00:52:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty sure there's gotta be at least one survivor contestant that went by

[00:52:43] [SPEAKER_01]: their middle name,

[00:52:44] [SPEAKER_00]: but that was not a job choice because I think what,

[00:52:47] [SPEAKER_00]: what Brando is,

[00:52:49] [SPEAKER_00]: or at least this is how I'm interpreting Brando suggestion is last naming

[00:52:52] [SPEAKER_00]: someone is a compliment to Jeff.

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:52:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?

[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:52:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Like a Mariano.

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Or Cochran.

[00:52:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah,

[00:52:59] [SPEAKER_02]: exactly.

[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a last,

[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_00]: last name's a compliment.

[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So then neutral is first name.

[00:53:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Insult is middle name.

[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh,

[00:53:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I like that.

[00:53:08] [SPEAKER_01]: No,

[00:53:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I think insult is full name.

[00:53:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you're in trouble with your parents.

[00:53:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I think first and middle is yeah,

[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_04]: that's,

[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_04]: that's,

[00:53:14] [SPEAKER_04]: you did something wrong.

[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_04]: First middle.

[00:53:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:53:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:53:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_00]: we did.

[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh,

[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it was Anika who used Samuel.

[00:53:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:53:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:53:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Samuel,

[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_00]: that's also,

[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh,

[00:53:23] [SPEAKER_00]: you're in trouble.

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Government named.

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:53:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Government named.

[00:53:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[00:53:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Government named.

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Um,

[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_00]: okay.

[00:53:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So is there any other backstory you want to add about gob don,

[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_00]: gob don,

[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_00]: gob don,

[00:53:32] [SPEAKER_00]: they are club penguin character.

[00:53:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Um,

[00:53:36] [SPEAKER_04]: is this person,

[00:53:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Liana playing survivor?

[00:53:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Are they in the game?

[00:53:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You're playing survivor.

[00:53:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So as a,

[00:53:42] [SPEAKER_01]: what does gob don times three do?

[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Like what's his job?

[00:53:47] [SPEAKER_02]: What did you bring?

[00:53:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Like Zamboni driver,

[00:53:49] [SPEAKER_02]: maybe something,

[00:53:50] [SPEAKER_02]: you know,

[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_02]: snow related,

[00:53:51] [SPEAKER_02]: which isn't going to fare well on,

[00:53:53] [SPEAKER_02]: you know,

[00:53:54] [SPEAKER_02]: the beaches of Fiji.

[00:53:55] [SPEAKER_02]: People always clamor for the winter season.

[00:53:57] [SPEAKER_05]: And gob don thought that that's what this is.

[00:54:00] [SPEAKER_01]: As a Zamboni driver.

[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Gob don came in the full parka.

[00:54:04] [SPEAKER_05]: Gob don was doing the summit.

[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_05]: He,

[00:54:06] [SPEAKER_05]: he did the application.

[00:54:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He actually came on survivor thinking it was the summit.

[00:54:10] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:54:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:54:13] [SPEAKER_00]: talk about tear away pants.

[00:54:14] [SPEAKER_00]: That would be perfect.

[00:54:16] [SPEAKER_04]: And then Brandon,

[00:54:17] [SPEAKER_04]: how,

[00:54:17] [SPEAKER_04]: how is your,

[00:54:18] [SPEAKER_04]: your grandfather?

[00:54:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Is he,

[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_04]: is he with us?

[00:54:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:54:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought you were going to ask if he's white,

[00:54:23] [SPEAKER_02]: which he's also white.

[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And then that's,

[00:54:25] [SPEAKER_02]: and that was my next question.

[00:54:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But you probably guessed from Gordon.

[00:54:27] [SPEAKER_02]: How old is he?

[00:54:29] [SPEAKER_05]: Uh,

[00:54:30] [SPEAKER_05]: I couldn't tell you late eighties.

[00:54:31] [SPEAKER_05]: I believe that's what I would like him to be.

[00:54:33] [SPEAKER_05]: There's a God done in this,

[00:54:34] [SPEAKER_05]: in this simulation.

[00:54:36] [SPEAKER_05]: I think we have a man.

[00:54:37] [SPEAKER_05]: Late.

[00:54:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Like a earnest Shackleford.

[00:54:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like an 80s.

[00:54:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Like he's discovering Antarctica.

[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_05]: And I,

[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_05]: I wanted,

[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_05]: we,

[00:54:47] [SPEAKER_05]: we don't know specificity how old he is,

[00:54:49] [SPEAKER_05]: but he's saying late eighties and you won't tell anybody the exact.

[00:54:52] [SPEAKER_05]: He's just late eighties.

[00:54:54] [SPEAKER_05]: He could be 90.

[00:54:55] [SPEAKER_05]: We don't know.

[00:54:56] [SPEAKER_00]: God willing.

[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh,

[00:54:57] [SPEAKER_00]: all right.

[00:54:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So we have,

[00:54:59] [SPEAKER_00]: yes,

[00:54:59] [SPEAKER_00]: the approximately 87 year old Zamboni driver.

[00:55:02] [SPEAKER_00]: He says he's 45.

[00:55:03] [SPEAKER_00]: He says he's 45.

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:55:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Kyle will fall for it.

[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_00]: It's fine.

[00:55:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Um,

[00:55:07] [SPEAKER_00]: we'll be embarking on this season of survivor.

[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:55:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I think we're ready to start our journey.

[00:55:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Mike,

[00:55:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I've shared with you the screen.

[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So let's get this started.

[00:55:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:55:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I will read to you for those of you who are listening to the audio.

[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're watching the video,

[00:55:27] [SPEAKER_00]: there's a little web-based interface that we're going to play with,

[00:55:30] [SPEAKER_00]: but the choices are yours to make.

[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_00]: God don.

[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So welcome to survivor 47.

[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You are one of the newest castaways this season.

[00:55:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It's been a rough few days so far,

[00:55:41] [SPEAKER_00]: but you're still in the game.

[00:55:43] [SPEAKER_00]: As Jeff always says,

[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_00]: this is why you never give up on survivor.

[00:55:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You wake to the light of the sunrise and the noise of some light bickering.

[00:55:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Tensions have been high between Sam and Anika over shelter duties.

[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You can either intervene or stay out of it.

[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you choose?

[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So this is up to the two of the three of you.

[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You can either choose,

[00:56:05] [SPEAKER_00]: uh,

[00:56:06] [SPEAKER_00]: there's obviously God don's decision,

[00:56:08] [SPEAKER_00]: but God don can either intervene to try to mediate between Sam and

[00:56:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Anika to maintain peace or stay out of it.

[00:56:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Focus on your own game and build relationships.

[00:56:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Elsewhere.

[00:56:18] [SPEAKER_00]: What would God don do as a W W G G G G G late 80s Zamboni driver?

[00:56:26] [SPEAKER_00]: What would God don do?

[00:56:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like a late 80s Zamboni driver is going to be off doing his own thing.

[00:56:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Surely.

[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_02]: For better or for worse.

[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah,

[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I would agree with that.

[00:56:35] [SPEAKER_04]: He's trying to clock into work.

[00:56:37] [SPEAKER_04]: He's trying to find that Zamboni.

[00:56:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Um,

[00:56:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I just wonder though,

[00:56:41] [SPEAKER_04]: like,

[00:56:41] [SPEAKER_04]: are we on this tribe?

[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Are we,

[00:56:43] [SPEAKER_04]: are we a new person on the tribe?

[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Or Sam,

[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Sierra and Andy also with us,

[00:56:48] [SPEAKER_04]: or we don't get to know that.

[00:56:49] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like the circle where they brought someone new in.

[00:56:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:56:52] [SPEAKER_00]: God,

[00:56:52] [SPEAKER_00]: that's just like always been there.

[00:56:54] [SPEAKER_00]: You know,

[00:56:55] [SPEAKER_00]: God is an enigma.

[00:56:56] [SPEAKER_04]: He's an institution.

[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_00]: He's an institution.

[00:56:58] [SPEAKER_00]: He just exists on survivor.

[00:57:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:57:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I do like the,

[00:57:02] [SPEAKER_04]: the building relationships elsewhere.

[00:57:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Um,

[00:57:04] [SPEAKER_04]: but I do also like the idea of this 80 something year old man trying to mediate and not knowing

[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_04]: what the fight is about and trying to just,

[00:57:11] [SPEAKER_04]: just articulate on what he thinks it's about.

[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Um,

[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that's interesting to me,

[00:57:15] [SPEAKER_04]: but I do think for the longevity of God,

[00:57:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I do think probably focusing on your own thing makes the most sense.

[00:57:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Swoop in at the end.

[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?

[00:57:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah,

[00:57:23] [SPEAKER_04]: exactly.

[00:57:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Swoop in and,

[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_04]: and,

[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_04]: and figure it out right an hour before tribal.

[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Reveal that you're not 45 years old at final tribal council.

[00:57:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[00:57:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[00:57:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:57:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll three for three.

[00:57:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's,

[00:57:33] [SPEAKER_01]: let's stay out of it.

[00:57:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:57:34] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to stay out of it.

[00:57:37] [SPEAKER_00]: No way,

[00:57:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Jose.

[00:57:40] [SPEAKER_00]: That's obviously what God done sound like.

[00:57:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm staying out of this.

[00:57:43] [SPEAKER_00]: You think to yourself,

[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_00]: instead you wander down the path towards the water.

[00:57:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:57:47] [SPEAKER_00]: to look for shelter supplies,

[00:57:48] [SPEAKER_00]: you see Andy in the distance.

[00:57:50] [SPEAKER_00]: He's been having a tough time fitting in and you sense an opportunity.

[00:57:53] [SPEAKER_01]: There we go.

[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you choose?

[00:57:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you offer to help Andy offer him support,

[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_00]: build an alliance with him or ignore Andy?

[00:58:01] [SPEAKER_00]: He's at the bottom.

[00:58:02] [SPEAKER_00]: That does me no good.

[00:58:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I should keep exploring the jungle.

[00:58:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean,

[00:58:07] [SPEAKER_02]: look late eighties,

[00:58:09] [SPEAKER_02]: you know,

[00:58:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Zamboni driver is probably giving a lot of unsolicited advice,

[00:58:12] [SPEAKER_02]: right?

[00:58:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah.

[00:58:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.

[00:58:15] [SPEAKER_02]: So I could see a world where we're helping Andy.

[00:58:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what everyone else thinks.

[00:58:19] [SPEAKER_05]: I do think if we wanted to speed run,

[00:58:20] [SPEAKER_05]: getting voted out,

[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_05]: we just ignore everybody on the drive.

[00:58:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Keep walking.

[00:58:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Keep on walking.

[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I,

[00:58:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that look,

[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_01]: this,

[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_01]: this man is used to driving by himself.

[00:58:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Perhaps it's time he picked up a bit of a co-pilot.

[00:58:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I think Andy could be the lifeline or he could be the lifeline to Andy in this time of need.

[00:58:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:58:43] [SPEAKER_00]: You're choosing,

[00:58:44] [SPEAKER_00]: or sorry,

[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_00]: gobbed on is choosing to help Andy.

[00:58:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey Andy,

[00:58:50] [SPEAKER_00]: you call out.

[00:58:52] [SPEAKER_00]: How are you feeling,

[00:58:53] [SPEAKER_00]: bud?

[00:58:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow,

[00:58:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Liana,

[00:58:55] [SPEAKER_01]: you nailed the tone of this.

[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_01]: You didn't even know that this would be an octogenarian,

[00:58:58] [SPEAKER_01]: but really you've got it down.

[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_00]: it's because he's putting on his 45 year old voice.

[00:59:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just trying to do the best 45 year old impression that I can do.

[00:59:07] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?

[00:59:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:59:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy takes a deep breath and begins to pour his heart out,

[00:59:12] [SPEAKER_00]: sharing his feelings and anxieties about this grueling experience.

[00:59:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Seems he's really opening up to you,

[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_00]: revealing vulnerabilities you never knew he had.

[00:59:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You comfort him,

[00:59:22] [SPEAKER_00]: assuring him that everything will be all right.

[00:59:25] [SPEAKER_00]: But as he looks into your eyes,

[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_00]: a shadow crosses his face.

[00:59:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Mark my words,

[00:59:29] [SPEAKER_00]: he says ominously.

[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I will never forget this.

[00:59:32] [SPEAKER_00]: The weight of his words hangs in the air,

[00:59:34] [SPEAKER_00]: leaving an unsettling feeling that something profound is about to unfold.

[00:59:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Sounds good,

[00:59:40] [SPEAKER_00]: buddy.

[00:59:41] [SPEAKER_00]: You reply and head off into the jungle feeling somewhat rattled.

[00:59:46] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have a choice here.

[00:59:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You just have to go further into the trees.

[00:59:50] [SPEAKER_05]: God's not made it at 87 years of life.

[00:59:52] [SPEAKER_05]: And he's about to get killed by Andy.

[00:59:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what.

[00:59:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Andy's going to come at him with his gesticulating saw and cut off his head.

[01:00:01] [SPEAKER_00]: If only Sabaya had left.

[01:00:04] [SPEAKER_00]: If only John Lovett had left with the machete,

[01:00:06] [SPEAKER_00]: then maybe we wouldn't be in such predicament.

[01:00:08] [SPEAKER_05]: He's going to try to solve wrong first.

[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_05]: Exactly.

[01:00:11] [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to feel a nice dull blade on the back of your neck at night.

[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Am I getting a haircut?

[01:00:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of,

[01:00:18] [SPEAKER_02]: has everyone mentioned Brandon Donlan's new haircut yet?

[01:00:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Looks fantastic.

[01:00:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Is he a little spin?

[01:00:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Can we get a spin for the...

[01:00:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow, look at that.

[01:00:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Look at that.

[01:00:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.

[01:00:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Back to Gobdaw.

[01:00:33] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to go further into the trees.

[01:00:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You decide to go further into the trees when you spot a suspicious looking log on the ground.

[01:00:41] [SPEAKER_00]: As you approach, the log seems oddly out of place.

[01:00:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Curiosity peeks you, kneel down and inspect it more closely.

[01:00:47] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a small latch on the side that looks like it hasn't been touched in ages.

[01:00:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I know he's a weird old man, but no dad feeling.

[01:00:56] [SPEAKER_00]: With a mix of excitement.

[01:01:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.

[01:01:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no.

[01:01:05] [SPEAKER_05]: We're gov-go.

[01:01:06] [SPEAKER_00]: With a mix of excitement and trepidation, I mean, you reach for the latch and pull it open.

[01:01:11] [SPEAKER_00]: In an instant, the log erupts in a shower of bright red paint.

[01:01:15] [SPEAKER_00]: The vibrant color splatters everywhere across your clothes, your face, and even the surrounding trees.

[01:01:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You gasp in shock as the paint drips down, pooling around you like a crimson puddle.

[01:01:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Before you can do anything about the mess, you hear someone coming down to the path.

[01:01:29] [SPEAKER_00]: What should you do?

[01:01:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Play dead or run and grab a chicken are your two options.

[01:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so the two choices are you either pretend that you have been brutally injured or you pretend that you've murdered an animal.

[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, if you're 80s and then years old, the early onset is probably already there.

[01:01:49] [SPEAKER_04]: You can feign ignorance very easily.

[01:01:51] [SPEAKER_04]: You can be like, I don't know how this got here either.

[01:01:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I am intrigued by playing dead.

[01:01:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I think playing dead.

[01:01:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm curious of what happens to you.

[01:01:58] [SPEAKER_01]: What I'm nervous about here is if you get medevaced.

[01:02:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Is it to look at you and think that you're dead?

[01:02:02] [SPEAKER_05]: Sure.

[01:02:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah.

[01:02:03] [SPEAKER_05]: We've killed Leona also.

[01:02:05] [SPEAKER_05]: For audio listeners, Leona is viciously choking on something.

[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm dying.

[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_00]: On water.

[01:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I should lay down.

[01:02:11] [SPEAKER_02]: For the audio listeners, Brandon keeps pointing at his hair every time he talks for some reason.

[01:02:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Guys, focus up.

[01:02:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Focus up.

[01:02:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Point to the hair.

[01:02:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I think, okay, I agree with the medevaced of it all.

[01:02:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Running and grabbing a chicken.

[01:02:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Also, I can't imagine he's the fastest runner in the world, but I would go running.

[01:02:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I would say grab.

[01:02:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the chicken should be interesting.

[01:02:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:02:32] [SPEAKER_00]: So you're going to run and grab a chicken.

[01:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Before you can do anything about the mess, a desperate idea strikes you.

[01:02:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You sprint towards the chickens, grab one, and return to the paint-covered path.

[01:02:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Just as Sierra and Rachel round the corner, you pretend to be in the midst of a clumsy

[01:02:48] [SPEAKER_00]: slaughter.

[01:02:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so sorry, you shout, fainting distress.

[01:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I was trying to get us some food, but it all went wrong.

[01:02:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Sierra and Rachel stare in shock, their eyes darting between you, the frantic chicken, and

[01:03:00] [SPEAKER_00]: the sea of red paint.

[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_00]: What have you done?

[01:03:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Rachel cries out, her voice a mix of horror and disbelief.

[01:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: The chicken, unharmed but thoroughly annoyed, flaps its wings, spreading more paint around.

[01:03:10] [SPEAKER_00]: We need to trade them, Sierra yells.

[01:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't deal with this anymore.

[01:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Thankfully, before any more discussion can be had about the chicken situation, it's time

[01:03:19] [SPEAKER_00]: to leave for the immunity challenge.

[01:03:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, I'm very confused.

[01:03:22] [SPEAKER_01]: So what did they assume happened to the chicken if it's just flapping around fancy-free?

[01:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they didn't think much of it, apparently.

[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I like the image of them rolling up to tribal council with this chicken that is just spattered

[01:03:34] [SPEAKER_02]: in blood and severely maimed, asking if they can trade it for something else.

[01:03:39] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[01:03:40] [SPEAKER_05]: The same reason you can't wear something from Kohl's if you've bled in it.

[01:03:43] [SPEAKER_05]: You can't really give back chicken if you've also kind of bled around.

[01:03:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it was something where it's like they could claim like, oh, we got covered in red

[01:03:50] [SPEAKER_01]: paint.

[01:03:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that should be a claim as well.

[01:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, I got covered by protesters.

[01:03:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I was trying to kill the chicken.

[01:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Kita was out here.

[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[01:03:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what happened.

[01:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Covered me in paint.

[01:03:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:04:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:04:00] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll go with that.

[01:04:01] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll ad-lib that in when we get to the immunity challenge.

[01:04:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: So you and your tribe enter the immunity challenge arena prepared for whatever fresh

[01:04:11] [SPEAKER_00]: hell Jeff has in store for you today.

[01:04:13] [SPEAKER_00]: However, there's other business to attend to first.

[01:04:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It's time to talk chicken.

[01:04:17] [SPEAKER_00]: We want to trade our chickens for something better.

[01:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: We're thinking eggs.

[01:04:21] [SPEAKER_00]: How about 24?

[01:04:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Sam chimes in.

[01:04:23] [SPEAKER_00]: He and Jeff go back and forth before Jeff makes a shocking offer.

[01:04:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll give you the 24 eggs, but you need to give me the chickens and one of your own

[01:04:32] [SPEAKER_00]: tribe mates to give to Lavo.

[01:04:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You were talking about trading Saul earlier.

[01:04:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Might have to trade somebody else here.

[01:04:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's jaws dropped to the floor.

[01:04:41] [SPEAKER_00]: The general consensus seems to be to give away Andy, but maybe you should step forward.

[01:04:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You have three options here.

[01:04:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Gobdon can either suggest Andy.

[01:04:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we were all thinking it volunteer.

[01:04:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I should go myself or reject the deal.

[01:04:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone is needed on GADA.

[01:04:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh man.

[01:04:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Big decision here.

[01:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I have, I have something, but I know I don't want to speak for the floor.

[01:05:06] [SPEAKER_04]: No, go for it.

[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I am interested.

[01:05:10] [SPEAKER_04]: If this, if this choose your adventure, we want to maximize meeting everybody and somebody's

[01:05:15] [SPEAKER_04]: going to go to Lavo.

[01:05:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I do think it should be us.

[01:05:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I completely agree.

[01:05:19] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm thinking as well.

[01:05:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[01:05:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's go meet Rome.

[01:05:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Plus like, listen, to be fair, this gob done at this point thinks Andy is going to murder

[01:05:28] [SPEAKER_01]: him.

[01:05:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And also he got caught with a chicken covered in red paint.

[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_01]: So like, I think right now is the good time to cash out and leave the table and try something

[01:05:39] [SPEAKER_01]: else.

[01:05:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I agree.

[01:05:40] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[01:05:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we volunteer.

[01:05:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:05:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So you're going to volunteer.

[01:05:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone looks around awkwardly, but most stares go to Andy.

[01:05:48] [SPEAKER_00]: You hear Rachel take a breath and begin to speak, but you cut her off before she can suggest

[01:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: that Andy goes.

[01:05:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll go to Lavo instead of Andy.

[01:05:55] [SPEAKER_00]: The tribe stares at you in shock.

[01:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Are you sure?

[01:05:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Sam asks concern at Sean his face.

[01:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[01:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You reply.

[01:06:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to give him a chance to stay.

[01:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You could, you also think this could be an opportunity to form new alliances before

[01:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: the merge.

[01:06:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll never forget what you did for me.

[01:06:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy whispers in your ear as you walk over to Lavo.

[01:06:14] [SPEAKER_01]: No, there's a, there's a certain adverb in there, Liana that you skipped over.

[01:06:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Sensually.

[01:06:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.

[01:06:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Whispers sensually in your ear as you walk over to Lavo.

[01:06:23] [SPEAKER_00]: The immunity challenge starts and Gata is moving really slowly on cutting the rope part

[01:06:27] [SPEAKER_00]: of the challenge.

[01:06:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Could Andy be throwing this challenge to protect you?

[01:06:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy's early misstep causes Gata to lose, saving you from tribal council.

[01:06:36] [SPEAKER_00]: As you leave the arena, you swear you saw a wink from Andy.

[01:06:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe him say, maybe saving him save you after all.

[01:06:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[01:06:46] [SPEAKER_00]: The end.

[01:06:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[01:06:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[01:06:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[01:06:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You not getting voted out.

[01:06:51] [SPEAKER_00]: You didn't get voted out.

[01:06:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

[01:06:53] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a very happy ending.

[01:06:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[01:06:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so well done.

[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Gob Don.

[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: We did.

[01:06:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Should we, should we try another universe for Gob Don?

[01:07:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So you can't, we can go back if you want to change your decision here to, or we can restart

[01:07:08] [SPEAKER_00]: at the beginning.

[01:07:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Those are your options.

[01:07:10] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you guys think?

[01:07:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, do you want to, you want to see him get messy?

[01:07:14] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to see him try to intervene in this, in the Sam and Annika argument?

[01:07:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[01:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I would love to.

[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[01:07:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm curious if we end up back here.

[01:07:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, all right.

[01:07:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:07:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

[01:07:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Tensions have been high.

[01:07:29] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you choose to do?

[01:07:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Intervene.

[01:07:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Intervene.

[01:07:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:07:32] [SPEAKER_00]: So Gob Don.

[01:07:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You decide to intervene in the conflict between Sam and Annika over shelter duties.

[01:07:39] [SPEAKER_00]: As you approach them, you can see the tension in their body language.

[01:07:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey guys, you say, trying to sound casual.

[01:07:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't help it over here.

[01:07:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I could help mediate the situation.

[01:07:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Sam looks at you skeptically while Annika seems relieved that someone else has stepped

[01:07:53] [SPEAKER_00]: in.

[01:07:54] [SPEAKER_00]: How do you propose to solve this conflict?

[01:07:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you either agree with Sam?

[01:07:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I think our time would be better spent getting food.

[01:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I agree with Annika.

[01:08:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's quickly gather more bamboo to improve the shelter or screw this stupid shelter.

[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's just burn it down.

[01:08:13] [SPEAKER_05]: I know what I'm voting for.

[01:08:14] [SPEAKER_05]: I think the fun option.

[01:08:16] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[01:08:16] [SPEAKER_05]: I think we all know what the fun option is here.

[01:08:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:08:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gathering the fun option.

[01:08:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Not gathering bamboo, but burning it down.

[01:08:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Seems to be the option that we're leaning towards.

[01:08:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:08:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So we burn it down.

[01:08:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Burn it down.

[01:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Burn it down.

[01:08:32] [SPEAKER_00]: You begin to chant.

[01:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Before the rest of your tribe can stop you, you grab a burning piece of wood from the

[01:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: fire.

[01:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Burn it down.

[01:08:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Burn it down.

[01:08:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You continue to chant.

[01:08:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Your tribe mates, production, and the entire crew are in shock at your actions.

[01:08:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Before they have time to react, you've tossed several burning logs into the shelter.

[01:08:49] [SPEAKER_00]: The palm fronds are quickly set ablaze, which lights the rest of the shelter.

[01:08:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You cheer loudly, jumping up.

[01:08:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy.

[01:08:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Burn it down.

[01:08:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You chant one more time before security takes you down into the sand.

[01:09:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Security?

[01:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: You're disqualified from the game and removed for a radically dangerous base.

[01:09:08] Wait.

[01:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Are there like the challenge?

[01:09:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Are there just like a bunch of goons standing around ready to tackle you?

[01:09:16] [SPEAKER_05]: The YX laws for this episode would be crazy.

[01:09:20] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how David's going to use this in the rules.

[01:09:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I just love the idea of this specifically being Gobd on now.

[01:09:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, the idea.

[01:09:29] [SPEAKER_00]: The lady.

[01:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: This old.

[01:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:09:31] [SPEAKER_01]: This old.

[01:09:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Burn it down.

[01:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, where was Gobd on on January 6th?

[01:09:37] [SPEAKER_01]: That's all I'm saying.

[01:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God.

[01:09:40] [SPEAKER_05]: You know where he was.

[01:09:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh no.

[01:09:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.

[01:09:47] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[01:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[01:09:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that's what you did.

[01:09:51] [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're interested in doing anything else, you have your options.

[01:09:59] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to take Anika's side this time?

[01:10:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's take Anika's side.

[01:10:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's take Anika.

[01:10:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's do her the service.

[01:10:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:10:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I agree with Anika.

[01:10:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's quickly gather more bamboo to improve the shelter.

[01:10:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:10:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Burn it down.

[01:10:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:10:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So, okay.

[01:10:13] [SPEAKER_00]: So you propose, okay.

[01:10:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You propose gathering more supplies to help improve the shelter.

[01:10:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Sam annoyed by your suggestion.

[01:10:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Reluctantly agrees.

[01:10:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll go down to the beach.

[01:10:20] [SPEAKER_00]: If you go into the jungle, you bound off into the jungle down the path towards the water.

[01:10:24] [SPEAKER_00]: While you see Andy in the distance.

[01:10:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is the same choice as before.

[01:10:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you want to help Andy or did this time?

[01:10:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you want to ignore Andy?

[01:10:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Screw him.

[01:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Who needs him?

[01:10:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Ignore Andy.

[01:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: He's the bottom.

[01:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: That does me no good.

[01:10:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Also, you know, you're still thinking about the burning down the shelter.

[01:10:41] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a lot of stuff.

[01:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have time to talk to Andy.

[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_00]: So you ignore Andy and turn your focus back to the jungle.

[01:10:47] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what?

[01:10:48] [SPEAKER_00]: You think to yourself, screw supplies.

[01:10:50] [SPEAKER_00]: There must be an idol somewhere out here.

[01:10:52] [SPEAKER_00]: All you can hear is the sound of your own footsteps crushing leaves and branches as your

[01:10:57] [SPEAKER_00]: eyes dart around the trees and rocks.

[01:10:58] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't see anything in your immediate vicinity.

[01:11:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Perhaps you should explore elsewhere.

[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So do you go to the rock wall or go further into the trees?

[01:11:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I have a theory that if we go further into the trees, we're going to get Nickelodeon

[01:11:09] [SPEAKER_02]: slimed again.

[01:11:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So I think we go to the rock wall this time.

[01:11:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Go to the rock wall.

[01:11:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I want Gabe's falling box to knock him out.

[01:11:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:11:16] [SPEAKER_00]: So let's go to the rock wall.

[01:11:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You decide to go to the rock wall.

[01:11:20] [SPEAKER_00]: When you arrive, you feel the energy of a hidden immunity idol calling out to you.

[01:11:23] [SPEAKER_00]: You spot a narrow crevice in the rock wall.

[01:11:26] [SPEAKER_00]: That must be it.

[01:11:27] [SPEAKER_00]: You think to yourself, squeezing through the tight opening.

[01:11:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Inside, the air is cool and still, illuminated by a faint glimmer at the far end.

[01:11:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The idol, you think excitedly.

[01:11:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Just as you reach for it, a deafening rumble echoes through the crevice.

[01:11:40] [SPEAKER_00]: The ground shakes violently.

[01:11:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And before you can react, rocks begin to tumble down around you.

[01:11:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You dash towards the exit, but it's too late.

[01:11:48] [SPEAKER_00]: A massive boulder crashes into place behind you, sealing you in.

[01:11:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Trapped beneath the layers of stone, you realize that this will be your tomb.

[01:11:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe some treasures were never meant to be found.

[01:12:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[01:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus Christ.

[01:12:04] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like something dark.

[01:12:06] [SPEAKER_01]: This poor old man.

[01:12:08] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so sad, especially because he's old.

[01:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I haven't been sad either way, but I think this is the only death outcome.

[01:12:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, the other one just included you burning down, committing arson.

[01:12:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[01:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, okay, so yeah, let me, I'm just going to help guide us a little bit.

[01:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to, okay, we're not going to play dead because, so with the log getting

[01:12:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Nickelodeon slimed, if you play dead, you do get medivac'd.

[01:12:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Because they think that you're dead.

[01:12:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then essentially, so what I wrote was that as you're carefully lifted onto the

[01:12:44] [SPEAKER_00]: stretcher, your social anxiety kicks into overdrive, forcing you to commit to the charade

[01:12:47] [SPEAKER_00]: instead of coming clean.

[01:12:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, you get, you get medically evacuated.

[01:12:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So, okay, let's try to get to the, okay, so you are going to, all right, so you're going

[01:12:57] [SPEAKER_00]: to go to the scheduler.

[01:12:57] [SPEAKER_00]: All right, so you can either suggest Andy or reject the deal.

[01:13:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So we're now back at tribal council where Jeff is asking if you would like to volunteer

[01:13:08] [SPEAKER_00]: to trade somebody.

[01:13:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.

[01:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So I would like to give you the option to either suggest Andy or you could reject the

[01:13:19] [SPEAKER_00]: deal, which will get us into the second part of the story.

[01:13:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Do we want to channel our inner, our inner Dondi here and reject the deal?

[01:13:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no deal.

[01:13:31] [SPEAKER_00]: No deal.

[01:13:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, let's do that.

[01:13:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Reject the deal.

[01:13:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone is needed on Gata.

[01:13:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:13:38] [SPEAKER_00]: No deal, Jeff word.

[01:13:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You say this tribe.

[01:13:41] [SPEAKER_01]: That sounds like some sort of swear.

[01:13:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think you can say that on a podcast.

[01:13:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's why Saul says fart.

[01:13:52] [SPEAKER_00]: This tribe sticks together through thick and thin.

[01:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: The rest of your tribe seems a bit annoyed with you over your brash decision, apart from

[01:13:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy, who seems thankful for your support.

[01:14:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Looks like it's not a unanimous decision.

[01:14:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So no deal.

[01:14:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Jeff says with the ferocity of Howard Mandel.

[01:14:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, a bit shaken, you proceed to the immunity challenge.

[01:14:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Your tribe performs well throughout the physical portion of the challenge with Anika, the ace

[01:14:14] [SPEAKER_00]: puzzle wizard sitting out.

[01:14:15] [SPEAKER_00]: You are on puzzle.

[01:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Rachel hands you two puzzle pieces.

[01:14:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Which one do you take?

[01:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Right hand piece or her left hand?

[01:14:23] [SPEAKER_00]: So the piece she's holding in her right hand or the piece she's holding in her left hand.

[01:14:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I am left handed.

[01:14:30] [SPEAKER_04]: And I think my impulse would be to do the opposite of what I want to do in the challenge.

[01:14:33] [SPEAKER_04]: So I think that right might be.

[01:14:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that's the right decision.

[01:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Because she is.

[01:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Assuming she's right handed, she would hand the piece to that she wants you to use.

[01:14:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And I trust Rachel's judgment over the memory of a man that was born during World War II.

[01:14:49] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[01:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: So Gobdon takes the piece in the right hand.

[01:14:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You reach for the piece in her right hand and try to fit into the puzzle.

[01:14:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God, it's comprehensive.

[01:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Not working.

[01:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: What should you try next?

[01:14:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you turn the piece to the right or do you turn the piece to the left?

[01:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So 90 degrees to the right or 90 degrees to the left?

[01:15:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Do we stick to our guns?

[01:15:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Do we go right again?

[01:15:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think.

[01:15:13] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you think, Mike?

[01:15:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's do it.

[01:15:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Right was the wrong choice the first time.

[01:15:18] [SPEAKER_02]: What are the odds of the wrong choice twice in a row?

[01:15:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You turn the piece right.

[01:15:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You turn the piece to the right, but it still doesn't fit.

[01:15:26] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you do?

[01:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Try it again.

[01:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: This time it has to work or turn it upside down.

[01:15:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Turn it upside down.

[01:15:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Turn it upside down.

[01:15:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we don't want to try it again.

[01:15:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You turn the piece upside down, but it still doesn't fit.

[01:15:38] [SPEAKER_00]: What's going on?

[01:15:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you try it again or do you try it on the other side of the puzzle?

[01:15:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I have a hard time believing again is going to work.

[01:15:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[01:15:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Am I alone in that?

[01:15:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I think.

[01:15:50] [SPEAKER_04]: But it's there for a reason, surely.

[01:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I think it's going to be Liana being like,

[01:15:55] [SPEAKER_01]: what are you talking about?

[01:15:56] [SPEAKER_01]: You just didn't fit over here.

[01:15:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Go to the other side of the puzzle.

[01:15:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think other side.

[01:16:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's do the other side.

[01:16:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, try it on the other side of the puzzle.

[01:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You try it on the other side of the puzzle.

[01:16:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Before you can even attempt to place the piece,

[01:16:08] [SPEAKER_00]: the other two tribes finish their puzzle,

[01:16:10] [SPEAKER_00]: sending Gata to tribal council.

[01:16:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you should have volunteered to go to Lavo.

[01:16:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Back on Gata Beach, things are in complete disarray.

[01:16:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Your time is valuable.

[01:16:21] [SPEAKER_00]: You really need to be cautious with how you spend it.

[01:16:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Who should you speak with?

[01:16:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Andy or Sam?

[01:16:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Those are your two options.

[01:16:30] [SPEAKER_01]: So I am intrigued.

[01:16:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It seems like Andy, something's going on with him.

[01:16:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Now, while this may result in homicide,

[01:16:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm willing to roll the dice here.

[01:16:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Worst case, we leave with the showmance.

[01:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[01:16:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It was very sensual.

[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Or dead.

[01:16:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Or dead.

[01:16:47] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the two.

[01:16:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so you're going to choose to speak with Andy.

[01:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And you yell.

[01:16:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Does that sound like your grandfather, Brando?

[01:16:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm doing my best.

[01:16:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Spot on.

[01:16:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.

[01:16:59] [SPEAKER_00]: You yell from across the beach.

[01:17:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Want to go get water at the well?

[01:17:02] [SPEAKER_00]: You cheekily exclaim.

[01:17:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy agrees to go with you.

[01:17:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Once you reach the water well,

[01:17:07] [SPEAKER_00]: his eyes dart around looking for others.

[01:17:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to thank you for not letting me get traded to Lavo

[01:17:12] [SPEAKER_00]: during the chicken negotiations, Andy whispers.

[01:17:14] [SPEAKER_00]: We need to figure out a way to save us both.

[01:17:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You remember something.

[01:17:19] [SPEAKER_00]: You have an idol.

[01:17:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Thankfully, the blood paint doesn't invalidate it.

[01:17:23] [SPEAKER_00]: You need to find a way to figure out

[01:17:25] [SPEAKER_00]: where the votes are going tonight.

[01:17:26] [SPEAKER_00]: You and Andy go on a fact-finding mission,

[01:17:28] [SPEAKER_00]: weeding out all the false info.

[01:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: But will you make the right call tonight?

[01:17:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Tribal council proceeds as normal,

[01:17:34] [SPEAKER_00]: but you're not paying attention.

[01:17:35] [SPEAKER_00]: There's so much pressure on your idol play.

[01:17:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Who cares about Jeff word?

[01:17:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, whatever.

[01:17:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It's time to vote, Jeff declares.

[01:17:42] [SPEAKER_00]: You fiddle with the idol in your pocket,

[01:17:44] [SPEAKER_00]: praying, hoping that you've made the right call.

[01:17:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Before Jeff can even say anything, you shoot up.

[01:17:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to play this idol, you yell awkwardly.

[01:17:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I can confirm this is a real immunity idol.

[01:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Your eyes dart around the tribe.

[01:17:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You or Andy.

[01:17:57] [SPEAKER_00]: You or Andy.

[01:17:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to play this idol for Andy.

[01:18:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Gasps erupt from the cast and crew.

[01:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: The crew?

[01:18:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, that's very professional.

[01:18:05] [SPEAKER_00]: The security.

[01:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, they're there.

[01:18:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Jeff reads the votes.

[01:18:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy does not count.

[01:18:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy does not count.

[01:18:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Andy does not count.

[01:18:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Sierra.

[01:18:15] [SPEAKER_00]: The fifth person voted out of Survivor is Sierra.

[01:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: A wave of relief washes over you.

[01:18:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You and Andy are both safe to live another day.

[01:18:24] [SPEAKER_00]: But at what cost your social relationships?

[01:18:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Was this like the best ending besides not going to travel at all?

[01:18:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this one was pretty good.

[01:18:33] [SPEAKER_00]: There was another.

[01:18:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's see.

[01:18:35] [SPEAKER_00]: If you.

[01:18:37] [SPEAKER_00]: If you talk to Sam.

[01:18:38] [SPEAKER_00]: It kind of depends on whether or not you find the idol.

[01:18:40] [SPEAKER_00]: If you have the idol, then that you almost always save yourself.

[01:18:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.

[01:18:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, if you talk to Sam, Sam also saves you.

[01:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: There's another situation where if you suggest Andy, then essentially you definitely get voted out.

[01:18:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You also give an ultimatum to either Rachel or Annika.

[01:19:00] [SPEAKER_00]: It becomes very complicated.

[01:19:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, and then there's a, there's one situation where we play the idol wrong.

[01:19:06] [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.

[01:19:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:19:08] [SPEAKER_00]: This, that's, that's the main, that's sort of the main story.

[01:19:10] [SPEAKER_00]: So congratulations.

[01:19:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You guys survived.

[01:19:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm really proud of Gobdon.

[01:19:14] [SPEAKER_00]: This is so funny.

[01:19:15] [SPEAKER_03]: You should like do this publicly.

[01:19:18] [SPEAKER_03]: People would love this.

[01:19:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I feel like.

[01:19:19] [SPEAKER_00]: It was, it's really, it's really fun to come.

[01:19:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So the, the one piece I was really happy with that you guys actually managed to figure out really well was the puzzle piece.

[01:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: So there's an infinite recursion loop that you can get stuck into where you just can't get out of it.

[01:19:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And so you just keep trying to, yeah.

[01:19:35] [SPEAKER_00]: So you just keep trying the puzzle pieces and you can't get out.

[01:19:38] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm really impressed that y'all managed to get out of that.

[01:19:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So.

[01:19:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God.

[01:19:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Liana, you killed it.

[01:19:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Much like you attempted to do with a chicken.

[01:19:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[01:19:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[01:19:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And you only died like not in the real playthrough.

[01:19:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So just the other one.

[01:19:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[01:19:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Luckily we avoided the incredibly dark, tragic ending of him being buried alive by a rock slide.

[01:20:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Under rocks.

[01:20:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:20:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.

[01:20:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm a smart call with the not playing dead and getting medivac.

[01:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[01:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: That is what would have happened.

[01:20:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I was playing dead.

[01:20:09] [SPEAKER_04]: That's all these two.

[01:20:10] [SPEAKER_04]: These two knew.

[01:20:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Well done.

[01:20:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Well done.

[01:20:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Gobbed on.

[01:20:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Gobbed on.

[01:20:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Gobbed on.

[01:20:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Gobbed on.

[01:20:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Well done for you, Liana.

[01:20:16] [SPEAKER_01]: You truly gave Gobbed on a voice quite literally and made us realize that, you know what?

[01:20:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we should bring in 80 something year old Zamboni drivers into the game.

[01:20:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Where are they?

[01:20:27] [SPEAKER_04]: They're applying.

[01:20:28] [SPEAKER_04]: I know they're applying.

[01:20:29] [SPEAKER_04]: They play that commercial every episode.

[01:20:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We know they're out there.

[01:20:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Come on, Jeff.

[01:20:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Come on, Jesse.

[01:20:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, last time he reached out to moms, I think this time he's like, if you're an 80

[01:20:38] [SPEAKER_01]: year old Zamboni driver sitting next to you on the couch, shake it and say, hey, apply

[01:20:41] [SPEAKER_01]: to be on Survivor.

[01:20:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I love the idea of Jeff.

[01:20:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You know how?

[01:20:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[01:20:46] [SPEAKER_00]: So advertising is obviously changing.

[01:20:47] [SPEAKER_00]: We're getting a lot of very specific targeted ads.

[01:20:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So I kind of like this idea of Jeff also doing very targeted ads specifically to appeal

[01:20:54] [SPEAKER_00]: to the octogenarian Zamboni drivers.

[01:20:58] [SPEAKER_00]: This is going to come across.

[01:20:59] [SPEAKER_04]: This will play when you're on like the tablet at the doctor, you know, when you're checking

[01:21:03] [SPEAKER_04]: in, this is when they blast that as you're getting.

[01:21:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, skip this ad.

[01:21:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Like the bingo TV, like in between rounds.

[01:21:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[01:21:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[01:21:12] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll play like when you score a strike in bowling, like it's the animations, Jeff

[01:21:15] [SPEAKER_01]: popping up.

[01:21:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Apply to be on Survivor.

[01:21:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Apply to be on Survivor.

[01:21:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my goodness.

[01:21:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, last but certainly not least, we are heading to spotlight over to these two gentlemen

[01:21:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and we're being extra charitable with the charity this time around.

[01:21:29] [SPEAKER_01]: You're each going to give a charity or cause to highlight for the audience.

[01:21:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Brando, as the newer blood, we'll start with you.

[01:21:36] [SPEAKER_01]: What charity do you want to highlight?

[01:21:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to go with the ALS Association.

[01:21:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like ALS is a very important cause to the Survivor community and also just in general.

[01:21:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And so that's why that's my pick.

[01:21:47] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[01:21:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Sounds good.

[01:21:48] [SPEAKER_04]: What about you, Brandon?

[01:21:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to go with the Give Kids the World charity.

[01:21:51] [SPEAKER_04]: There's the over the edge weekend that's happening in December.

[01:21:54] [SPEAKER_04]: A lot of Survivor, Big Brother, Amazing Race folks are going to it.

[01:21:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I will not be in attendance, but I was in attendance many, many years before I was ever

[01:22:00] [SPEAKER_04]: on Survivor.

[01:22:01] [SPEAKER_04]: They throw a beautiful event and all the money from that goes to the Give Kids the World

[01:22:04] [SPEAKER_04]: charity.

[01:22:05] [SPEAKER_04]: So check out the charity event.

[01:22:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Even better yet, if you're in the Florida area, if you want to fly to it, go to the event,

[01:22:09] [SPEAKER_04]: all the money will go towards them.

[01:22:11] [SPEAKER_04]: And if you just want to support from your couch, just Google Give Kids the World and you can

[01:22:14] [SPEAKER_04]: find all the information there.

[01:22:16] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[01:22:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Two fantastic charities from two fantastic guys.

[01:22:19] [SPEAKER_01]: This was amazing.

[01:22:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Call it a double day.

[01:22:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Call it a quadruple B.

[01:22:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Whatever you want to.

[01:22:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I could not think of a better way to finish off my favorite pre-merge of the new era

[01:22:28] [SPEAKER_01]: so far.

[01:22:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Any final thoughts as we go around the horn and do some plugs?

[01:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Brandon, let's start with you.

[01:22:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I have nothing.

[01:22:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you can follow me, Brandon Dillon.

[01:22:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I do want to hype.

[01:22:38] [SPEAKER_04]: If you go on the Rob Hatties podcast Instagram in the next couple of days, you will see.

[01:22:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if you remember if you're watching this, but from the Chicago show, I had a bowl

[01:22:45] [SPEAKER_04]: made people on stage read things on stage or, you know, bring up words, random words

[01:22:50] [SPEAKER_04]: in conversation.

[01:22:51] [SPEAKER_04]: We did that again.

[01:22:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Rob didn't know about it and nobody's caught on that we did it.

[01:22:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Nobody asked me about it.

[01:22:56] [SPEAKER_04]: It was really weaved in well.

[01:22:58] [SPEAKER_04]: So this week we're editing the video.

[01:22:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Now you'll see what we did on stage that a couple of people pulled out of a hat or really

[01:23:04] [SPEAKER_04]: out of the we had the Donnie briefcase, which is a fun.

[01:23:08] [SPEAKER_04]: So people pull things out of the Donnie briefcase and read them aloud on stage.

[01:23:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Weaved them in so good that you didn't even notice it.

[01:23:14] [SPEAKER_04]: So you'll see that this week.

[01:23:16] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[01:23:16] [SPEAKER_04]: So cool.

[01:23:17] [SPEAKER_01]: That is amazing.

[01:23:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Brando, what would you like to plug?

[01:23:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Because you are out and about on these Internet streets.

[01:23:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, other than giving, you know, one more shout out to Brandon Donlon's new fantastic

[01:23:27] [SPEAKER_02]: haircut.

[01:23:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd like to plug my Twitch channel.

[01:23:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I've been doing a lot of fun stuff.

[01:23:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Pokemon Survivor baking over on twitch.tv slash Brando Meyer.

[01:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So come come say hi.

[01:23:38] [SPEAKER_02]: We have a good time over there.

[01:23:39] [SPEAKER_02]: How often do you stream?

[01:23:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I try to do every Saturday, but it's pretty sporadic right now.

[01:23:44] [SPEAKER_02]: So turn on my notifications and you'll never miss a stream.

[01:23:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Perfect.

[01:23:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Liana, what do you got to plug?

[01:23:50] [SPEAKER_00]: You can follow me on Twitter at Liana RHAP.

[01:23:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm also doing the Masked Singer coverage.

[01:23:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That's going strong.

[01:23:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So we and I are going to be talking or talked about the premiere of Group B.

[01:24:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So all new people.

[01:24:01] [SPEAKER_00]: That was really, really fun.

[01:24:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So even if you're not a big Masked Singer fan, we highly recommend come hang out with

[01:24:06] [SPEAKER_00]: us for a bit.

[01:24:07] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[01:24:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, you can follow me at a Mike Bloom type.

[01:24:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Check out my conversation with Anika, which was a lot of fun as we were both kind of recuperating

[01:24:15] [SPEAKER_01]: from the glow of the live show.

[01:24:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I was still glowing to get to talk with her about everything that happened in her game

[01:24:21] [SPEAKER_01]: and then doing my usual stuff for scripted TV.

[01:24:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And I got to do a bunch of stuff for the Big Brother finale as well.

[01:24:28] [SPEAKER_01]: If you're still catching up on that, plenty of stuff happening in the reality TV community

[01:24:33] [SPEAKER_01]: as spooky season officially begins.

[01:24:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'll be a little scared next week because Liana will be unfortunately not available to

[01:24:43] [SPEAKER_01]: come on to the BNB.

[01:24:45] [SPEAKER_01]: But we have quite the treat for you.

[01:24:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a trick.

[01:24:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll be joined by another Motley duo.

[01:24:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And considering that the individual portion of the game, we're dealing with a lot of free

[01:24:55] [SPEAKER_01]: agents.

[01:24:56] [SPEAKER_01]: It only makes sense.

[01:24:57] [SPEAKER_01]: We bring on the two co-hosts of the free agent podcast.

[01:25:00] [SPEAKER_01]: That's Matt Liguori and Brian Escali.

[01:25:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Very excited.

[01:25:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think either one of them have ever been on the BNB.

[01:25:06] [SPEAKER_01]: So should be a fun way for them to make their debut as you break down whatever the hell

[01:25:10] [SPEAKER_01]: is coming next.

[01:25:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Whether it's regular, mergatory as we know it, whether it's something new.

[01:25:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Either way, it's sure to be messy given the loving timbre of this cast.

[01:25:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And I cannot wait to get into it.

[01:25:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, thank you to everybody who came out to the live show as well.

[01:25:26] [SPEAKER_01]: It is always such an incredible experience.

[01:25:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And especially those of you that had some very kind words to say about the BNB as well.

[01:25:33] [SPEAKER_01]: It really does mean the world truly to have your support going on for over 10 seasons now

[01:25:40] [SPEAKER_01]: at this point.

[01:25:41] [SPEAKER_01]: We wouldn't be able to do it without all of you listening to us just absolutely play

[01:25:45] [SPEAKER_01]: proverbial cornhole for an hour and a half every week.

[01:25:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And we'll do it all again next week.

[01:25:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Special shout out to everyone at the team behind the scenes at RHAP for packaging this

[01:25:56] [SPEAKER_01]: podcast for your eyes and ears.

[01:25:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And Will from America for his fantastic theme song.

[01:26:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I will be back next week with Matt and Scali to break down the next phase of Survivor 47.

[01:26:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Until next time, everybody.

[01:26:09] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll check you out at your next day.

[01:26:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Long live God.

[01:26:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Like a neon a guy that's playing some games.

[01:26:15] [SPEAKER_06]: You better pray to your mama that they're not super lame.

[01:26:19] [SPEAKER_06]: And if that all sounds cool, I can tell you the name.

[01:26:23] [SPEAKER_06]: It's the R-H-A-P-B-M-B.

[01:26:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Mike and Leanna gotta play in some games.

[01:26:31] [SPEAKER_06]: You better pray to your mama that they're not super lame.

[01:26:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Sounds cool, I can tell you the name.

[01:26:43] [SPEAKER_06]: And say for free.
