You know, I'm happy to be here, talk about Survivor with you But Tim, I mean, gotta address the elephant in the room That we are definitely in mourning right now

[00:00:58] Just after the outcome of this last episode So, super excited to dive in and talk about it with you Yeah, listen, Rob I gotta light a candle, Rob I gotta, I gotta light a candle And by light a candle, I mean flipping a switch Because, you know, we lost a big one We really lost a mother Right after Mother's Day at that And that's none other than Sari I'm hurt, Rob Because this is Sari we're talking about

[00:01:26] This is, was her season to win, in my opinion Like, it was perfect You know, she had the social game She had the social skills But in the end, it didn't work out And so I'm just like, you know, I'm gonna need Three seasons to recover from this loss Honestly Yeah, you know, I mean, like, we're gathered here today To celebrate the survivor life that is Sari Fields And Rick Devins too But, you know, like, it's hard

[00:01:56] Because Sari has always been the fan favorite And someone that we've always connected with Ever since she first stepped out onto the island And played this game So, I think it's hard knowing too That, like, she is one of the best players To ever win it If not the best player And to not have that sole survivor title Attached to her resume Her incredible, not just survivor resume But, like, reality TV resume too

[00:02:24] Like, she is truly, like, one of the greatest of all time So, it was a pleasure to have her back Can't say Can't say enough good things about Sari She's definitely the best to never win, in my opinion And I'm sure we'll be able to rewatch All the Sari greatness I feel like I'm gonna just collect all the Sari moments And make a Sari's greatest hits Like it's the Michael Jackson's greatest hits Because Sari is a hard hitter You know, you can't neglect

[00:02:54] Or can't dismiss all the greatness That she brought onto the game And then you mentioned Rick Devins You know, Rick Devins Yeah, he's definitely a good player He's a great player I do think he was another frontrunner For the winner for this season And to see him also go home Was like, ouch You know, we left or we lost Two great players behind So, yeah Oof

[00:03:24] You know, I thought Rick really summed it up well Like on his Instagram post When he posted after being voted out on Survivor Just this past Wednesday Where he attached the song by Frank Sinatra Like the song that goes like I did it my way You know, and that sums up Who he is as a Survivor player so well Because there hasn't been a Rick Devins In the type of way that he Who like seeks out these advantages And is one of the most like

[00:03:53] Happiest positive performance Like performative guys on the island And to see him play again I know he was someone that I was so eager to see Come into season 50 And like have that second chance to play again I think he lived up to the hype of who Rick Devins is As a Survivor player So, you know, I think he got everything he wanted Out of the season other than the victory So truly a pleasure to watch him too Absolutely And Rob, did you eat something before this?

[00:04:23] A little bit of food, yeah I'm a little hungry, you know I got some dry rice here I might just, you know, crunch on a little bit And mind you, I'm not licking it straight from the jar Which is what Jonathan did Mind you, I'm watching this I'm also like, Tiff I'm like, ew Like, yuck You know, I'm already a picky eater In the first place So to see him lick the rice straight out of the jar For other people to eat And then eat dry rice

[00:04:52] I'm like, oof I know there's some people who eat dry cereal Right? Straight from the box I've never been one of those people So I am looking at this Again with confusion And also a little bit of That's kind of gross What about you? I mean, desperate times Call for desperate measures, right? And you know that Rizzo, Joe, and Sari Are enjoying all that food After the immunity challenge On their little reward Like if I'm Jonathan Like, I'm like Like, I am chomping at the bits

[00:05:22] Just for some real food And I think I would be impatient too Just waiting for like The pot to boil To make my rice But yeah, I mean That's disgusting That's not going to be Something enjoyable Or like nutrition-filled also Like, I feel like I'd be waiting for that pot To boil And then like Maybe play the game of Survivor Rather than like Eating some uncooked rice I can't imagine That tasted any good But, oh well Yeah And speaking of something That didn't taste good I've never been a Jonathan Hader

[00:05:51] Necessarily Okay, that's a lot I have been a Jonathan Hader The character of Jonathan On the show Survivor Of course But to see him win immunity This episode I felt a little scared Because Sari wasn't immune Tiff wasn't immune These are two players That I'm rooted for You know, I love Tiff On 46 And Sari is Sari of course

[00:06:19] And she just got votes This past Tribal Council And Tiff is someone Who they're eyeing As a big threat Moving forward into the game She's won immunity before So, I'm a little scared For Sari and Tiff In this moment When Jonathan wins immunity Joe Appears to hear Joe Oh yes, Joe Sorry Joe winning immunity Which I was like Okay, it's Joe

[00:06:48] So, yeah What was your reaction To seeing Joe Win immunity? You know This is only Joe's Second season Playing Survivor And I think That was his Sixth individual Immunity win Which is kind of Incredible For a feat That I think Is kind of going Unrecognized In a way We remember him Being part of that Meat alliance Back in 48 And he's kind of Taken that Into the season Two Just with all Of his immunity Wins

[00:07:18] Now it's translated Into the honored Integrity alliance That completely Dissipated Because Survivor Isn't about Honor and integrity Is it? It's about deception Of course But yeah Joe winning Immunity I really did Like his picks To bring Seri and Rizzo I mean You feed two People who are Not going to Win immunity Come the Next immunity Challenge So you keep Those like In the strong Like physical Positions in Tiff and Jonathan

[00:07:48] Who are very Capable to win An immunity Challenge Like you keep Them underfed So very Beautiful But it Definitely made Me a little bit Nervous for like The others who Have really built Up their survivor Resumes this season And like those Who I am eager Like to see Win this game Like I could see Rick Devins as a As a winner And I would be Happy to see him Represent season 50 Seri too Seri too I could See her like Taking the throne Finally on survivor And seeing Joe

[00:08:18] Almost like take That opportunity From another person Where we know That Joe's not Going home Like it hurts Just that much More Yeah and I'm On the same page I think the Picks were Smart And of course Not even just From a They're not Going to win Immunity part But from A Joe Sort of Getting on The greater Graces Of those Two as Players You know Seri has Talked to us About babysitting Joe at times Or feeling like She has to Watch out for Joe or Be there for

[00:08:48] Joe And Rizzo Literally is Playing two Back to back Seasons where He's getting To the end Game so he's Been starving For like A long Period of Time so It makes Sense to Kind of Feed him It's kind Of like If you Are outside Going on A walk And you See you Know Old lady Or old Person feeding The neighborhood Cats it's Like yeah It's like a Poor little Cat like Pobrecito Like give It some Food and

[00:09:17] I think that's What some of The players Are again Filling toward Rizzo Both on that Emotional Aspect And jury Management Aspect But also On a Rizzo's not Going to Beat me In immunity Kind of Perspective And mindset As well Yeah and You know Kind of Going off That too I was Kind of Confused Why Tiff Was so Blinded By Rizzo's Idol During This episode Because Yeah like I think Rizzo is Very well Positioned Within this Tribe He has a Lot of

[00:09:47] Those like Social and Strategic Connections But the Idol isn't Really something That I feel Like is Threatening enough To where we Need to take Out Rizzo And his Idol Now And I Think Aubrey Summed it up Very well After I think Devons Was voted Out Where it's Like he Can Be someone That we Take out Now but We don't Have to Take him Out Just because Of the Threat that He really Poses at The end Sitting next To him Like that Really might Be someone That I Want to sit Next to

[00:10:17] And I Have a Good shot To beat At the End Yeah it's Like if I'm giving Someone who Is a Marchman If I give Them a Paintball Gun I'm going To be Terrified Because this Is somebody Who knows How to Use it This is Somebody that By themselves Is a Threat Now if I give The same Paintball Gun To Someone who's Never Even Played Of Shooting Video Game

[00:10:46] Then They're not Going to be The same Type of Threat That somebody With those Skills Is going To be And so That's like A Rick Devins With an Idol And a Rizzo With an Idol Type of Situation In their Perspective Because again They don't Know Rizzo They haven't Seen His season And he's Also the Youngest Person there So in A lot Of different Ways They're not Really Taking him Seriously Or not Really Seeing The Threat Level That he Could be Could he Get to The very

[00:11:16] End of The game He doesn't Have those Previous Relationships That a Sari Has Or isn't The most Showboating Player Like a Rick Devins Is So in Aubrey's Perspective Bringing him To the end Isn't Isn't That big Of a Threat To her Game Versus Keeping Devins In You know We could Flush the Idol At any Point He could Play it If all They care At any Point If I'm Aubrey Right And it's Like you Don't scare Me I'm not Afraid of You

[00:11:46] I think I'm Gonna Beat You If I'm Sitting At the End Next To you So I think That is Again Another Reason Why Devins Eventually Does go Home for This first Tribal Council But If I'm Thinking Right I know There's a lot Of people Who feel Like why Did they Get out Devins You know It could Have not Been Devins Of course It makes Sense for Him to Already Be this Threat But let's Really Think through Why it Makes sense For everybody And if It made Sense for Everybody

[00:12:16] Because I Feel like It didn't Really make Sense for Sari To get out Devins Would you Agree Yeah I do Agree And you Know what Like I think It's really Important to Take a step Back and Really look At We're at Final Seven right Now And you Have six People who Unanimously Vote out The same Player Together Three of You have The wrong Idea Because three Of you Are going To be Voted out Because only There's only Three spots Sitting there

[00:12:46] At final Tribal When you Get to Plead your Case To win The game So You must Be thinking That you Are in A good Solid Four person Majority Come final Six after This vote So there's Going to be Some eggs In that Carton That are A little Wrong They're not In the Best Position Right And I Do think That Sari Is definitely One of them Because we Recognize How great Of a threat That she Is to Win this Game And she Just lost

[00:13:16] One of her Allies in Aussie Leaving her In that much More of a Vulnerable Position Leaving for The vultures To come After her And her Game What did You think About Sari To go Along with That Devons Vote Yeah I think That Devons Was another Shield For her Just because We just Lost Aussie Who Not only Was a Shield For Sari But Was someone With an Idol Who Actively Wanted To take Sari Further In the Game With her And then I'm also Thinking about It from Tiff's Perspective

[00:13:45] Where Are we Going to Just let Him Get by With the Idol And guarantee Himself Final Four That's One more Round Where You're More of A target Your Chance Of going Home Is Greater Than It would Be If we Just flush his Idol And get Him Out Now Or You know Get the Idol Out of The Picture And I Think it Really Just comes Down to It not Being enough Votes to Really make That happen To Switch it From a Sari

[00:14:15] And Tiff And Devins Voting For Rizzo And You know Joe Jonathan And Rizzo Voting For Devins I Think It Just Would Have Stale Made It At That Point Perhaps So Maybe That Wasn't Something They Wanted To Risk But All In All I

[00:14:45] Could Have Moving Forward Because Again To Be Fair On The Front Side Of It This Is Rick Devins We're Talking About Nobody's Going to Be To Beat Rick Devins Should He Get To The End But Why Do We Have To Vote Him Out Now We Can Always Vote At Final Five So He Doesn't Get A Chance To Make Fire At Four Mm

[00:15:15] Her And Make Her Feel Like That She Has No Other Choice But To Work With Rizzo After She Was Just Blindsided With Ozzy Leaving The Game Like To Keep Rizzo Or To Keep Sari Kind Of Close To Him Right When Ozzy Went Home Because Of Rizzo He Rizzo Did Not Tell Ozzy To Play The Idol He Had All Of That Control During That Vote And He Comes Back I Don't Want To Say Plays Sari But Kind Of Plays

[00:15:45] Sari To Keep Her Close To Him And Just To Ensure That She Has An Ally Close To Him After Losing Ozzy Right Like I Think Rizzo Really Set Himself Up Well Coming Into This Vote So When You're Saying That There Aren't Enough Numbers To The Game And Maybe Like Put It Off To Somebody

[00:16:15] Else I Think Yeah And I Do Think That Rizzo Was In A Position Where His Paths Toward The End Are Kind Of Complicated Because On One Hand If You Keep Devins In The Game Well You Have To Vote Out Devins Then You Have To Vote Out Sari Then You Have To Vote Tiff Like Where Does That Leave You Has To At This Point Start Getting The Big

[00:16:45] Thress Out Because He Has To Sit At The End With Some People He Could Win Against And Devins Is Definitely Not One Of Those People So I Don't Necessarily Look at It As A Bad Move From Rizzo Sure It's A Good Move From Him But As He Already Mentioned Verbatim That He's Riz Rat I Would Agree And Weaseled Out Of

[00:17:15] Taking You Know Sari To The End Which Is What I Would Have Wanted But It Didn't Make Sense For His Game So No Horror Fellas No I Think The Probably Aubrey

[00:17:45] I Guess Like That Probably Would Have Been The Person Maybe A Jonathan Too If You're Worried About Like His Chances To Win Immunity But In Terms Of Maybe Gameplay And Who's Going Align With Who Aubrey Is Probably The Person That I Would Then Want To Target In That Round So I Think Sari Was Very Smart To Go For Aubrey The Next vote After Rick Devins Went Home But Maybe It Was Just A Little Short Sighted Potentially In

[00:18:15] Terms Of How It Could Have Been Best For Her Game Yeah And Speaking Of Getting Out Sari And This Next Round Let's Talk About This Next Round So Devins Is Voted Out Devins Goes Home And We Are Right Into The Challenge Where Tiff Eventually Wins Individual Immunity Tiff Is A Big Target At This Point Everybody And Their Mama Want To Send Tiff Home Now I've Already

[00:18:44] Established I'm A Big Fan Of Tiff Long Time Fan Of Tiff And Tiff Is A Friend Of The Pod Also And Her Winning Immunity I'm Happy Right And The Downside Rob Is That Sari Is Vulnerable Because Tiff Is Safe But More Importantly I'm Mad At The Edit Because Why Do Tiff Like That If Tiff Is

[00:19:14] Going To Be This Big Challenge Threat This Big Social Threat This Michelle Part Two In In

[00:19:52] and we know how electric of a player she is how like cunning and like serious that she can be on the island so like it's not real like i feel like we do get to this point in a lot of survivor seasons where it's like well why is christina the real threat at five for being a soldier like with liz wilcox was gonna win had she made final three like we i feel like a lot of these

[00:20:17] sentiments kind of come up towards the end of the seasons um and we're getting that now with tiff but i actually believe that tiff is this gigantic threat that everyone is claiming her to be in this moment and you know maybe she didn't win the other immunity challenge when she had to like balance on like the water like sand thing but she won when she needed to so thank god tiff was able to pull out this

[00:20:43] immunity when but yeah i mean i completely agree too like i think we had her pretty high up in our ranks because we know how great of a player and how entertaining she is so it just would have been would have meant so much more to have seen her and her evolution in this game to see that threat level status like really shine through absolutely what we did end up seeing was what i thought was almost

[00:21:08] a masterful way to try to survive from seri so seri again is aware that the plan was originally going to be tiff and instead of saying hey it was so and so who told me seri pulls one over them she's like you know what i'm gonna say it was my target who told me this information she's like y'all got a rat in y'all camp y'all need to get some rain y'all need to call an exterminator you know luckily for you

[00:21:35] i am seri uh bug be gone seri rat regon uh and she's going to be the person to help them exterminate the rat in their camp so she's going to go after aubry and i thought that was a great move a great pull to convince people that hey not only were you going to target somebody that was close to me and maybe you might be targeting me now i'm going to give you a reason to distrust somebody and i'm

[00:22:03] going to make myself even more trustful in the moment um i wish it would have worked i wish it would have you know been successful ultimately but i did think it was a very smart move uh of course unsurprisingly very conceivably uh by seri and you know what i think it was gonna work it seemed like jonathan and joe were totally swayed in that direction where it's maybe we do need to take

[00:22:32] out aubry right here and now and it really came down to the one person seri really trusted this vote to really step in to be like sorry seri like i've been working with you this entire game but me the riz god baby like we're not gonna let that happen and i think it's such a star-studded move by rizzo

[00:22:58] to like stop like this masterful strategic play from happening because i think it really could have gone done if rizzo wanted it to have happened i think seri would have been safe at the final six here and she wouldn't have gone home but rizzo didn't let that happen and i hope he gets the respect that he should deserve for that move i'm not entirely positive but like we just gave seri

[00:23:26] all of these flowers for like it was such a brilliant plan to throw out aubry to use rizzo's information keep rizzo safe because she's not throwing him under the bus the way that they were able to work together also to make sure that like they didn't even get back to it being rizzo who also aussie just outed to aubry and everyone else that who are aligned with each other like how did they do that like like just to make sure that the dots aren't connected back to them like

[00:23:56] truly masterful so good yeah listen it's seri's miss in works and i i feel like i understand why rizzo had to do what he had to do which was vote out seri um because this is seri we're talking about if seri gets to the end nobody is beating her not even rizzo and for him to see firsthand how his

[00:24:23] information that he told her gets flipped around to her benefit and also protecting him at the same time is like that's dangerous like that's powerful she could literally say this exact round at final tribal and she's getting the check she couldn't even be seri and she would get the check from this move just because it's that brilliant that socially intricate so again i'm not mad i'm just hurt uh by it all um

[00:24:53] and i wonder though if this was the best move for jonathan if this was the best move for a joe uh especially from jonathan's perspective seri is somebody who trusts you you're somebody who trusts seri this is of course the last round that you could vote someone out potentially potentially because

[00:25:20] the fans we did vote on if it was final four fire making or if it was going to be a final four vote but let's be honest seri is not going to beat you in fire i'm sorry i love my girl seri and this is no disrespect to seri but more recently and even historically seri hasn't been able to make fire to stay in the game now if i'm jonathan would i want my odds to be making fire against seri or making

[00:25:49] fire against a firefighter or making fire against rizzo who we don't know if he's telling the truth on if he lost at final four fire making or not do i want to make fire against aubry so you know is these are the decisions that i might be thinking if i'm jonathan is in this moment before i just simply vote out seri uh in her entirety mm-hmm and think about like if the next challenge has a puzzle

[00:26:18] in it who's like maybe the best puzzle maker and that's aubry right who might steal an immunity win for you so i think these are a lot of considerations that a player like jonathan who has a resume and a real chance to win this game it's just it's not clicking in his mind as uh as well as it is it could be because seri like you said trust him and is not going to win immunity and is not going to win fire

[00:26:44] so you have so many opportunities to take out one of the biggest threats when they are helpless seri doesn't have her extra vote anymore that's going to expire we know she doesn't have an idol so it is definitely a lost opportunity to take out a threat when there are potentially other threats that you can take care of now while still being able to ensure that you're safe

[00:27:07] and that seri is able to leave at a later point in the game and of course we all love seri but i think that's also the problem too i think seri is just too lovable seri has survived the first round she survived you know through all these rounds she's been connected to so many different people and at this point it's connected to everybody that's left in the game and so many different

[00:27:35] people that's on the jury so not only is this someone who has these connections to sure get through a vote and maybe if you're aligned with her get her through a vote and you as well but if you're so likable you're that much more of a threat because i want you to be likable to where i want to work with you and i think you will be a good ally i don't want you to be too

[00:28:02] likable to where i think you're going to steal votes from me uh at a final tribal council so i definitely think that played a factor as well in her essentially getting voted out but i think there's one thing that could have stopped seri getting voted out rob and that's an idol because where are the idols why don't we have idol in the merge we had the two billy isleys boomerang idols

[00:28:27] we had the mr b super beware idol but where's the regular idols like do we just give up on putting idols back into the game or what yeah that's a good point we had no one has found an idol that wasn't a billy eilish boomerang idol like episode three maybe yeah yeah rick debbins was handed one but that doesn't count and you know that these are the most experienced survivor players i i would actually love to

[00:28:55] see a statistic to see how many idols have been found between all 24 players in this cast because we know that these players can go out there into the like into the forest of the island and find these idols so yeah where are they and i do think when we get back to the uh to the finale episode we're gonna have like some sort of like advantage hidden probably for like the final five immunity

[00:29:22] things so at least we're gonna see one more advantage found in uh in the forest but it's probably not gonna lead to an idol or anything so it is kind of interesting how the idol has been a little bit lost in the season but i do kind of want to hear your thoughts too about how we've now seen in back-to-back seasons an idol found early at the game get all the way to final five now

[00:29:48] rizzo was that player that had held on to the idol but what does that say about the power of the idol um being able to maybe not be like the biggest threat as it really used to be this is a conversation i feel like we have every single season but it's really about like the evolution of the idol you know this is something that's a little bit more profound that we haven't seen in a really long time so i want to know like is it about the idol or is it about also the

[00:30:15] player in rizzo and his capability to hold on to the idol and not maybe have like the threat level attached to it yeah i think it's tricky because there's on one hand hidden immunity idols are no longer as big of a secret as they used to be in the game of survivor and on the flip side of it people expect you to just play an idol that's because of survivor 46 right which tiff is from

[00:30:43] so in that season we had people get voted out with idols back to back to back to where on a 48 49 or you know the following seasons if you get an idol you got to play it so that is a phenomenon that benefited rizzo to say okay people are expecting me to play this idol i'm going to subvert their expectations by not playing this idol so i'm going to keep it i'm going to make it seem like i'm going

[00:31:12] to play this idol or oh i feel in danger i'm just going to flush it you know i'm going to say all these things to make you believe was already pretty seemingly believable uh in the first place and so i think that's part of it so to answer the question more directly i think it's rizzo specifically leveraging the knowledge of expectations about these idols um and especially with this season given that

[00:31:42] the idols are so public and that the only other people with idols are bigger threats than me then i'm gonna just keep my idol because why would you vote out me with my idol when you know devins has an idol when you know ozzy has an idol um and even with me being the only person left with an idol am i more dangerous than devins who doesn't have an idol but just played two so it's really just

[00:32:10] both of those things combined in my opinion what would you say you know you kind of got me thinking it's like i'm kind of like envisioning like like a t graph like this right like we're on the x-axis you might have like the perceived power that the idol is carried with and then on the y-axis it's kind of like the perceived threat of the player who has the idol and depending on where you fall on the graph

[00:32:39] kind of determines for players maybe like how immediate of a threat do we need or like how immediately do we need to take care of this idol and this advantage right like i am i may be like a psychology guy but i've always been a math guy at heart right so rizzo might just line up in the perfect like corner of the grid where he is just not being perceived as a threat and because he's not

[00:33:04] being perceived as a threat like the idol has that much less of power for him and adding in like the billy eilish boomerang idol where it's only gonna be played on him you don't have to take that idol out at all at any point in the game so yeah yeah i think as someone who you know phc candidate in english nothing too major i'm used to reading and i'm used to reading between the lines so if i'm

[00:33:31] reading between the lines at some point when i'm reading a new book and i get to a certain point it's going to be predictable and i think rizzo is just that rizzo is predictable even if he isn't going to play his idol it's predictable that he isn't going to play his idol and that predictability brings a sense of safety a sense of comfort now that predictability might not be future site it might

[00:33:56] not be 100 accurate but it's something that they feel like they can rely on now devins with an idol unpredictable we saw a fake idol we saw a real idol we saw a coin flip it's so much packed into devins as a player now rizzo we've seen him on the hammock we've seen him eat chicken at the auction

[00:34:20] we've seen him go on a reward we haven't really seen him from a player's perspective like do anything too unpredictable or too flashy of a move so there's perhaps no thoughts in their head about oh rizzo has an idol he's dangerous because what if he plays it for sari or what if he plays it for xyz we could probably say okay he's gonna play it for himself he didn't use it this round and you know it's

[00:34:47] it's just like he's not going to be that big of a danger to me all i have to do is not vote for him when he does play his idol versus you know i can't know where to vote for because he might play it on anyone so i think is rizzo balancing his social threat level and predictability and chaoticness uh and keeping those things under wraps that is keeping him safe and allowing him to pull a 49

[00:35:16] part two in the words of timmy and you know this is a little bit like a tangent like away from like rizzo with idol but we know like what rizzo is capable of being the strategic and social threat that he is and was in season 49 and they don't know that even now with like how he's been able to play this game in season 50 i feel like he's made a lot of like non moves that aren't apparent to the rest of

[00:35:45] the players in the game which have really benefited him right um like astronomically in terms of like his position and his ability to continue to like make and keep relationships and i think because as you put it like he's predictable they're expecting him to make these like moves that like could be like big shiny crystal ball moves to put on his resume he doesn't have those i think he has a lot of like

[00:36:38] now like at final five because no one knew the game that he played you know like they don't they no one actually recognized and understood that like yeah like he's obviously a good player because he's here playing on one of the best seasons with some of the most iconic survivor players but they don't know his game they don't know they just don't know the riz god baby so it's to his benefit and his power that he's been able to make it here because of that but you may not win as a result because he doesn't

[00:37:08] bring in like that sort of like uplifting like god status right when he might just be seen as like the 26 year old on the island yeah i feel like they just see him as riz disciple not riz god himself uh is there a world where rizzo could win survivor 50 do you think it's possible for him to win i think his best shot at winning would be to sit next to a joe and a jonathan at this point but even then

[00:37:37] do you think the jury would vote for rizzo especially after not seeing his season i don't know especially given he's again the youngest on the season they might look at him through this is just my nephew i'm giving my nephew a million dollars or two million dollars at this point sorry shout out mr beast i guess uh but yeah honestly rob do you think there's a world where rizzo wins survivor 50

[00:38:07] i do and i think you just laid out the scenario he needs to get aubrey out and i think tiff needs to get out too and jonathan and joe would be the two people that probably the jury like might not like respect the same level of like gameplay and maybe want to give them the money um and like an equal amount like compared to rizzo right because like i think rizzo has played the game more with a lot

[00:38:33] more of the players on the jury and done less like negative harm to them like jonathan has made a ton of moves but has gone a against a lot of people on the jury to where they might feel like a lot of like negative emotions towards him so i think in that and rizzo's a good speaker bro's been able to advocate

[00:38:56] for himself for two seasons back to back so i think you are able like i think there is a real possibility that rizzo does win this season um which is kind of hilarious to think because i just thought that they'd get out the 49 players like as soon as possible but i know you thought differently tim differently once again and i should have just listened to you you know yeah rob is referencing

[00:39:22] me putting rizzo in the final three in a pre-season prediction and i mean i might be right who knows but what i do think is clear and i don't know if you agree with this we might be splitting the vote with this opinion but i think aubry is the clear front runner this season i think aubry is taking home

[00:39:43] the two million only because we've gotten so much aubry content so many perspectives from aubry on so many different parts of the game and so many different players and so many players thoughts on aubry herself that it just seems clear uh from an outside perspective as a viewer perhaps that aubry is taking home this w but the question i have if it is that clear how does she do it who does

[00:40:13] she sit next to and i do think joe makes it to the final three i think he is 100 making it to the final three and i don't think it's uh because he's just playing the most amazing game he's going to outsmart someone he's going to build fire i think joe is just going to get dragged to the end and joe is going to be season 50's goat this time around he might be the season 50 zero vote finalist now this other

[00:40:42] slot is where i'm a little lost at i don't think it's going to be tiff because tiff is just too big of a challenge threat and i think tiff would give aubry a really good run for her money now that leaves jonathan and rizzo between those two if i had a mr beast coin i would flip it right now because i'm not entirely sure i really want to lean

[00:41:10] toward jonathan just because we've gotten so much jonathan but we've also gotten so much rizzo but i think jonathan has burned more people and because jonathan has burned more people he's gonna have more people bitter against him should he get to the very end of the game what do you think about a final three or who do you see fitting into this final three uh in the future i think you got the joe

[00:41:36] zero vote finalists um i i mean i i think you hit it on the nose there that was also the like only thing i think i've predicted right maybe this season if that comes to fruition um joe getting third and receiving zero votes so i have to rewind the tape and check that out and i see it the same way with like if tip doesn't win immunity at five they're probably pulling the trigger and like sadly taking

[00:41:59] out our girls so that'll be pretty devastating so when i'm looking at like that potential like fourth place finisher and who aubry could go up against or who she would preferably go up against it sounds like a lot of the talking points that jonathan thinks that he has to really hype up his game like

[00:42:22] the like the 10 000 steps advantage right like how he kind of claims both of those moves of getting out aussie right which is something that aubry completely disagrees with because she feels like she was the one that completely manipulated that information to her benefit whereas so like i think i see it in the sense of like aubry has more talking points against jonathan whereas she played a

[00:42:49] different game than rizzo which if i can elevate my game over another players rather than having like two like completely good resumes that aren't identical like going up against each other i'd probably want to go against the person that i think i can out talk and out maneuver so i think if i'm aubry i'm probably going to want to sit next to jonathan um regard like and then you make into the idea of like

[00:43:18] well yeah people might just not like jonathan people might view rizzo like as like a child it's of course you know but i think you really gotta if i'm aubry aubry's the best talker yeah also of those people left absolutely and if it is a sitting next to jonathan jonathan has a hot streak i don't know if the jury's gonna like that if jonathan's gonna argue about who made what move or who

[00:43:43] has credit for this move or that move i'm gonna let you get heated aubry could rage bait jonathan at this final three tribal council right which would be kind of hilarious but kind of like oh my god like you know she could set that up to where he's arguing about you know that was my move and i did this and i did that and she's just like i don't think you did it's just like you know have you ever seen

[00:44:11] that meme rob where there's like a lying a lion yelling right and then there's the monkey just like thinking or like with a calm face have you ever seen that meme and so that's jonathan and that's gonna be aubry in that final three situation is what i predict so yeah i do think jonathan does have a case if he does get to the end because he has been involved with a lot of moves he has won immunity

[00:44:37] um he has been a figure in the game i think rizzo has also made moves more subtly but has more of those social connections with playing with tiff playing with the sari um but i do think in both of those scenarios aubry could take it all home and you know just thinking about it right now too like both rizzo and jonathan got fourth place in their seasons so if they both get to that spot of being

[00:45:05] there in the final four i know both of them are going to be itching to do anything that they can just to be able to finally plead their cases and just make it one more vote further to and sit there at the final tribal council so i mean there's going to be there's so much on the line there already is but i think that like little like personal like i got to get one step further it's just going to make that much sweeter once they're able to taste their seat and like just lick it all up right when

[00:45:32] they're sitting there final tribal council like dry rice you know just straight out of the jar oh my god well you know i do have my candle right here um it is electric but it's not on fire but that doesn't mean that we don't have torture awards to give out this episode rob now what are the torture awards you might be wondering well every episode the split the vote team gives players of

[00:46:01] our choice the torture award it could be for anything whatever criteria we want but people are walking away with a torture award respectively now rob i want to start off who are your nominations for this episode you know um my nominations i'm probably looking at sari because this was maybe not her most

[00:46:27] strategically like best episode but it's someone who i love watching so i think i am going to give her a nominee just for being sari and being that iconic sur player uh survivor player um aubrey is also going to get a nominee for me as well because i think she set herself up so well being in that middle position being able to

[00:46:51] i don't just like navigate that devon's vote ensure that she wasn't the person going home at six i think definitely deserves the nomination and i think rizzo also deserves a nomination as well for his role in facilitating the vote um to get out sari and his role within rick devons's plan or like that fallout as well so those are my three nominees i would say okay okay all three good nominations

[00:47:20] i also have to start off with sari how could i not you know we're dressed in black for a reason we listen mother not gone but voted out never forgotten right and the second nominee who i have to put up is also rizzo funny enough he got through with his idol uh through two tribal councils and he has

[00:47:48] uh or actually you know he has this path toward a final four moving forward into the game now lastly i also have to uh inconceivable i know right rob us having the same nominations uh but i also have to give my third nomination over to aubrey just because aubrey surviving the sari versus aubrey vote i thought was something that's propelling her deeper into the game i think sari said it herself

[00:48:17] if it's not me i hope it's aubrey uh just because they are two big strategists well known for being big strategists uh in this game of survivor in a way that the other players aren't necessarily known for their strategy so yeah aubrey's my third nomination

[00:48:42] yeah game recognizes game tim i see it the same way too yeah yeah so let's be very conceivable in asking you who gets your torture award this episode all right my torture award for episode 12 is going to the riz god baby um i hope he gets the respect that he deserves for making

[00:49:08] these moves he put the nail in the coffin and hammer that shit down sending sari to the jury so i think i gotta give it to rizzo for making a very timely move that i think can set up an end game and really give him reason to explain why he should win this game

[00:49:31] great choice great choice me on the other hand rob i gotta give it to aubrey surprisingly uh aubrey is someone who i think could win in many more combinations at the end of the game than any of the other players perhaps left minus tiff because i think tiff could beat anyone left at this point

[00:49:56] but minus tiff i think she wins in any other combination scenario and i think because of that she has to give uh she has to receive my torture award this episode all right you know like before we wrap up the episode i do want to ask like predictions like right now right i know we just talked about like what could happen but who is your winner prediction for season 50 heading into the finale

[00:50:24] okay i'm gonna do you one even better route i'm gonna tell you how it's okay right let's hear it let's hear it we're gonna go into my brain real quick right so final five jonathan wins immunity because jonathan and tiff they won immunity together and they are the two immunity challenge threats at this point jonathan wins immunity tiff goes home final four i think the fans voted for fire

[00:50:50] final four i think joe is gonna win immunity he's gonna bring jonathan to the end and so that leaves aubrey and rizzo at fire i think aubrey's gonna beat rizzo and fire and aubrey's gonna go and win the game if i'm right aubrey if you're listening you know just like devins i need a real nice dinner you know cut me a little bit of the check don't tell jeff but that's my prediction and i'm putting

[00:51:17] aubrey's money on the table for that what do you think okay yeah i i love that i really do love that i think um i think joe wins immunity at final five uh i think he inches closer to that individual immunity record and then tiff gets voted out at five then we're looking at the scenario where i agree

[00:51:44] i think fire making is going to be in play i'm hoping it's in play i think it really has a lot of like strategic benefits that can really impact the season and we've dove into that like every single season so i'm hoping we get fire and i think joe wins immunity again which will be i don't know i oh we'll go with joe so i mean you went with joe i'll go with joe too

[00:52:07] so then i think we're looking at a scenario where it's like do like is it going to be rizzo jonathan or aubrey that like who like that gets taken along with joe and i think it's kind of hard to like really wrap my mind around what joe could be thinking in that moment where you know he really who knows because he values that honor and integrity and i think he's been working with jonathan most

[00:52:35] closely out of everyone that's like left on the beach so i in that sense i i think i'll go with joe takes jonathan to the end with him and then we see aubrey versus rizzo making fire with aubrey pulling it out rizzo getting fourth and then aubrey takes the million um million two million two
