[00:01:50] Our summer rewatch of amazing race season five is well underway and this week we are covering episode two. Brooke and I are getting into the nitty gritty. Ooh, is some teams I got to cuss out and it is some teams that ooh baby you know your

[00:02:06] baby boy is loving. So listen let's get into this week's pit stop. Pit Pit Pit Stop. It's a pit stop. Pit Pit Pit Stop. It's a pit stop. Pit stop. Pit stop. And we're back. No, I'm just kidding. You do it. And we are back.

[00:02:37] Your Purple Pants Podcast pit stop coverage of our rewatch of season five of amazing race episode two. We're back. We're back. I'm so excited to be back. And we're gonna be cohost the winner of amazing race season 29, Miss Brooke Kamhi. Welcome back, Brookeie Poo.

[00:02:56] Thank you, pleasure to be here, Bricey Poo. How are you? I am good. I'm excited. It's been a very long time since we talked about one of these episodes and I'm excited to talk about the next one. I'm excited to talk about the next one.

[00:03:15] No, it's only been two episodes. You're gonna lose your mind. Yeah, I'm loving it. I am definitely hooked. I get a little pissed off at the end of this episode, but we could talk it through as we go.

[00:03:32] I have some questions that I need to ask my Brooke because I feel like I was going with people and I felt like I understood what they were doing. But listen, nevertheless, we are here. And yeah, I'm excited to be talking amazing race season five with Brooke Kamhi.

[00:03:52] Get that picture. God, this is a long time ago. It's so, and you know what's so funny? Half these people are in jeans and like loafers. Put on some athleisure people. I don't understand how people were one girl in my season were cowboy boots

[00:04:06] and I'm pretty sure it's because they made her bring cowboy boots because she was like a cowboy. But you can't run in jeans. Like you need to run in spandex people, but it's so funny. Like the first episode, even the second people are running around.

[00:04:21] Like what if those get wet? Right. Okay, anyway, we have 10 teams left. Back with the amazing race was good. And so, in the order of arrival. You have a 12 hour pit stop where the teams got to mix and mingle and align.

[00:04:38] And so first off, we have Allison and Donnie leaving at 1248 a.m. right in the middle of the night. I love this. I really enjoy when there is an order and it made sense and there was benefits in coming in early because you leave early

[00:04:52] and all of that jazz. You have Marshall and Lance. I roll my eyes out loud leaving at 1251 a.m. when I'm here in the front. I'm on my way A human being. I'm on my way. I'm on my way. I'm on my way. I'm on my way.

[00:05:11] I'm on my way. A human being. My name is Michelle. Michael. And I'm going to do a 3-minute, Barbara. 3-minute later. We are doing a 15-minute.

Foreigners! Foreigners! Excuse me, son!

[00:08:15] Buddy, you're the useless foreigner. Like this is their country. Like have some respect for the locals. Absolutely not okay. Never okay. You're in their world. You're the foreigner and your ugly is showing. That's not okay. Okay. First of all, first of all, first of all,

[00:08:34] you go up to them and say, do you speak English? Okay. Okay. So one, you don't even speak the native tongue and then they're like, well, I don't know where it is. And then useless foreigner. Your big back self are the foreigners.

[00:08:51] Like I want to pop them in his little big old foreign. Your ignorance is showing, Marshal, not a fan. Cammy and Carly find someone to follow there because this is the thing that used to be allowed. You could literally pay someone to take you where you need

[00:09:04] to go. And then Brandon and Paul show up. And then they go to the great rule. The rule as it stood for us was you could ask them where you're going. They could not leave you, but they could point you

[00:09:16] exactly where you needed to go, but you could not follow them. So when we were in Chicago at the end of our season, we found someone and they're like, I'll take you and I'm like, you're not allowed to take us,

[00:09:25] but can you be like point us exactly and maybe walk behind us and follow us how we're doing? It's kind of funny. Anyway, Brandon and Nicole then show up at the phone party. Jesus is not with them because Nicole full on gets

[00:09:36] accosted by locals in the soap and she's not comfortable. This happens to a couple of the women where they try to kiss them or get close to them. Everyone comes out unscabed, but it's not a particularly comfortable situation. And it does happen in later seasons a little bit,

[00:09:56] but this one was very in your face. Yeah, that was just kind of bizarre. Again 2004 doesn't make it right just like as a culture, but like not you trying to like SA women on camera. Like that was like, first of all, kiss me.

[00:10:13] But like yeah, that okay, because I would have been up in there. But yeah, that was like hard to like they're clearly saying no. But I do just want to say they're probably like young adults. It's two o'clock in the morning. Probably involved in a foam party. Not.

[00:10:36] It's not okay. I'm not okay, but like I understand how it happened. Right. But like yeah, I was like kind of crazy. Also was like amazing race. Where is your security? Oh, they're there. They're definitely there. It's fine. Everyone's calling Christy find it quickly.

[00:10:52] Charlotte, I mean it Mira. This is my favorite part of the entire episode. Stop and ask some prostitutes where they're going. It's amazing with their put on ridiculous accent. Ask the prostitutes if they know where the shake mega disco is. And then Mira's like, we can't bother them.

[00:11:10] They're working. It is so funny. It's just such like a beautiful moment of understanding, you know, sex work is work positivity, blah, blah. And but also like this is who's around and this is who

[00:11:22] they can ask and they find it and I love it and it cracks me up. Can also love. They, they ask their driving and they're like, well, she has a disco shirt on. She's probably going to the disco and then the girl just ignores them.

[00:11:35] They're the best duo ever. I love to. Tim also gets accosted inside the mega disco, but she can handle herself and holds her own. Jim goes, you got to go to Uruguay to go find a phone club

[00:11:49] and I say no, you don't and you know you don't because there's one in Philadelphia. There's a lot in Cancun. I have memories and then I'm Charlotte's inside. She's busting these balloons open. They find what they need and yeah, so the clue inside the balloon says,

[00:12:06] drive yourself 100 miles now to colonial de Sacramento and take a ferry to Buenos Aires, Argentina and find the grave of Eva Perón. I of course pause the episode just sing a refrain and don't cry for me Argentina. I love you so much.

[00:12:23] This is where the episode starts to get juicy. Now, I want to know because Jim and Marsha are on the boats and they are saying, I love you so much. I love you so much. I love you so much. This is where the episode starts to get juicy.

[00:15:02] Charlotte and Mirna are not the fairy then. In the best twist, when Charlotte goes to the fairy person, no, Mirna goes and says, we have an emergentia in her, whatever accident, I don't know where it's from. And this works for them 11 times out of 10.

[00:15:20] They tell airplanes that they have a doctor's appointment. They tell fairies that they have an emergency. They're going to a doctora, whatever. They hold the boat. They take the platform back off the boat so that Charlotte and Mirna can get on the boat

[00:15:36] and everyone is back even again. And the teams are pissed. Well, understandably. I mean, understandably, but also it's like the teams are like, they wanted them to be left behind. So it's like, we can like have an easy leg and they'll just go home. But they were pissed.

[00:15:54] And I mean, we had a moment on a ferry. The reason that I stayed in the amazing race is because one team missed a ferry in Zanzibar and I was begging that boat to leave. I didn't know what was going to come next.

[00:16:06] It was make a ladle from a, you know, whatever piece of metal and nothing. And I had a real problem with that. Had another team not been left behind. We would have gone home that day, I'm sure of it. But I don't think they cared who it was.

[00:16:19] I don't necessarily, except for maybe Lance and Marshall, think that they cared what team was left behind. But if you can leave 18 behind and guarantee yourself like a cushion, fine by me. Don't care who it is, but. That was another thing for me.

[00:16:33] It was hard to see if whether or not this was like deceptive editing. Like when we see the thing, when we see the bridge being pulled back, like they could have just had that on stockpile. Because when they got there, one of the ladies essentially was like,

[00:16:49] well, the boat is waiting for you. And so then I was like, is the boat really waiting for them? I don't know, it was like a little confusing to me. I think that the boat was about to leave and because we have an emergency, they made a stink.

[00:17:03] Charlene, you're very good at making a stink. And I'm for it. If you can make a stink and get a boat to wait or a plane to turn around or them to reopen those doors that they're never supposed to reopen again, then good on you.

[00:17:15] And they are very, very good at that. So. I love it. On the ferry, people are asking where Eva Perone's grave is. Now there are two big cemeteries in Buenos Aires, where it is Eva Perone and her husband are not buried in the same place.

[00:17:34] So some of the teams go to the wrong cemetery, Colin and Christy, Bob and Joyce, Chip and Kim. Some of the teams go to Recaleta, which is the correct cemetery. And when they get there, Charlotte and Mira and Oliver and Laurie

[00:17:47] find a guy on one of those like, you know, airport. On a break, cause it was giving very much. She was on his lunch break. He got a smoke break, right? Okay. On one of those little like, beepie trolley things to drive them right to the grid.

[00:18:03] They're not running, they're not dealing with that. They're getting a ride. Not only drive them. Was is the twins coming behind them? It was a team coming right up. Linda and Karen, it was Linda and Karen. They leave Linda and Karen in the test. It is beautiful.

[00:18:19] Well we can follow her. We can follow her. The little golf cart cut into her and yeah. Shout out to my girl. Good on Linda and Karen for being like, we're just going to run and follow it. Like they don't get mad. They get hoofing.

[00:18:32] So Charlotte, Mira and our first Linda and Karen are running right behind. Lampson, Marshall or whatever doing their best to run behind them. Brandon Nicole and Jesus are in fourth and Donnie and Allison are somewhere in there. And then you have three people who have gone

[00:18:49] to the wrong cemetery. At the grave, the teams can yield somebody. No one uses it. They don't air it fine. At the grave, the next clue is the detour. This is my favorite detour. Maybe a long time I would have taken home eight dogs

[00:19:04] and just had a menagerie in my household. So the options are Perro or Tango. Now the Tango one is way easier. And it's the one that should have been done. And it's the one that I in my head would have said do it,

[00:19:19] but my heart would have seen the puppies and been like, let's go. So you have to either walk eight dogs a mile through a course right outside the cemetery. The dogs are right there. Now, because the rules were what they were,

[00:19:33] the right thing to do is take the dogs, grab a local and say, walk me where I need to go. Pay a local, who cares? There were no rules against doing that. That's what you should have done.

[00:19:44] But, and a couple of teams decide to start with the dogs. Most notably Allison and Donnie and Linda and Karen, who Linda and Karen are in the most uncomfortable episode of like X on the beach ever. Because Linda and Karen are standing there watching Allison,

[00:19:59] mostly Allison, scream at Donnie about how he is useless and horrible and doesn't know what the app he's doing. And ultimately both teams decide to switch the other side of the detour. Only two teams do the dog walking task. They are Bob and Joyce.

[00:20:13] They are so cute with the dogs. And they are Cami and Carly, who get all tangled up. But then they find a local to help them and that's how they get through it and that's what they should have done from. You know what I was thinking though

[00:20:24] when I was watching the dog walking episode because it definitely is a harder task. But it really had me thinking that if we could use a time machine and Anthony and Bailey could go back. I just know that Anthony and Bailey, they could walk dogs.

[00:20:43] They just give me dog people. So I just feel like this would have been. You know what? I think I actually agree with you. I think this would have been a bad. They would be one with the puppies. They would lead them.

[00:20:55] So I just, if we ever could change places and put somebody, season five is definitely a season for Anthony and Bailey. Maybe that one task of season five. I don't know. There are a lot of places to go and a lot of things to do.

[00:21:13] In Tango, the easier task, you have to travel across the city with theater get a photo of a tango dancer and match it to the guy on stage. Now, the first photo they gave you was very nondescript and a lot of the dancers looked alike.

[00:21:26] The second photo they gave you was a pretty obvious person. So if you did it twice, you were good. Anyway, Charlotte, Miran, get there first. I'm gonna get it right at the start. First of all, but got up there but I had my little dancing.

[00:21:36] I'd been looking at the, I would've moved the lady out the way so that I could tango with him to get a better, you know, is it him for me? You would've pulled Miran up because once Charlotte and Miran get it, Miran decides to do a little tango.

[00:21:51] I really honestly, for as much as other teams are against them and thinking they're annoying and horrible, they are taking the moments to enjoy the race. She wants to go gamble more. She's doing a quick tango. Like I'm for it and with them

[00:22:06] and they get in and out first. Brandon and Nicole and Jesus get it. I should stop saying that. Get it second, get it right away. Then you have Marshall and Lance who also get it immediately. Allison and Donnie have left the dogs on the side of the road

[00:22:19] and have gone to the tango and they are now in fourth. They get on their first try. Jim and Martian fifth, Colin, Christian sixth. This is everybody on the tango side by the way. Linda and Karen who have switched now get it in seventh

[00:22:30] and teams eight and nine? No, there has to be more teams than that. Anyway, the last teams, Cammy and Carly, Bob and Joyce, they walk the dogs, they get through the dogs. Anyway, but they're in the back of the pack.

[00:22:47] At that point, teams need to make their way to San Antonio Day, whatever and find the station for their next clue. They can get there by bus or they can get there by taxi. I love when the amazing race gives you options.

[00:23:04] So this is where it had me confused at, right? Because I also feel like in this era of the amazing race, if you run out of money, you're in trouble. And so I really felt like the bus could have been the smarter route to take, to save money

[00:23:26] to later in the game. But the problem when you are trying to conserve or trying to play the long game, you sometimes forget of the short game. So there is no part of you that if this would have came up, you would have just immediately taken the cab

[00:23:45] and spent the cash? So I have a behind the scenes for you from season 29. So in leg two of season 29, we were told you could take a subway or a cab where you needed to go. We found a cab driver.

[00:23:57] We asked the cab driver how much and how long. And then we decided to take a subway. We went down to the subway so we would not let our camera crew film and we couldn't get on the subway.

[00:24:07] So then we had to go back up and take a cab and our camera guy on that leg, who I'm not, I think I remember who it was, but I'm not gonna out them, said just at the end of the leg was like, just something to think about.

[00:24:19] You had a cab right there and you'll get money next time. If you have it right there, take what's in front of you instead of taking a chance on what you don't know. And that is a very smart thing to think and we took it to heart.

[00:24:31] So I probably would have taken a cab. I was very much, we can't spend money on everything. Scott was allowed one cup of coffee at an airport if he wanted it. I don't drink coffee so I didn't have it. I got myself like an apple juice or whatever,

[00:24:44] but that's it. Like there were teams who were like, I'm buying this, I'm eating that, I'm getting a souvenir. And we're like, you are dumb, save your money. For a situation like this, I would have hopped a cab because cabs are faster. They don't make stops like buses

[00:24:57] but a lot of teams take a cab. Donny wants to take a bus to save the money. Allison will not let him hear the end of it. Camgy and Carly chipping cab buses. Anyway, Charlotte and Mirna and Brandon and Nicole get where they're going first.

[00:25:11] Lanson Marshall's cab in, you know, a twist of fate and hilarity runs out of gas and they have to get their cabs filled up with gas. What, my just so, and their cab was using natural gas. Was, am I not educated to ask? Is it diesel?

[00:25:32] I'm just saying that's diesel. Okay, cause out there like, I'm taking forever to fill up. Well they complain about everything. Everything, the world is against them. So the next thing that has to start. Random story though. When I was like, I wanna say 12, 13

[00:25:49] on Saturdays will be like my mom's grocery store day. And she would go to like Yeah, shout out to Barb. And she would go to this place called Produce Junction where it's kind of like a farmer's market, but it was not really a farmer's market,

[00:26:04] but it had everything that a farmer's market would have. So like we will go to the grocery store. None of my brothers wanted to go grocery or food shopping with my mom cause it'd be like a two hour event. But I always would get up Saturday

[00:26:16] because I would go grocery store shopping with my mom. Then we would go to Produce Junction and across the street from Produce Junction was a 7-Eleven and then a gas station. And so we completed all of the tasks. I used to always wanna go to 7-Eleven

[00:26:30] cause I could get a hot dog and a slushie. And then we went to the gas station and I was like, can I, can I pump the gas? Can I pay, can I pump and pay? And so my mom's like sure.

[00:26:43] Not I feel my mom tank up with diesel fuel. You did not. I did. And so I think my mom realized it. And of course like, I did not. And then we went into the gas station and we told the guy

[00:26:59] and then so the guy just put regular gas in the gas tank and just kinda like try to flush the light. And then he's like, well, probably be bumpy for a little bit, but you should be okay. But if diesel is natural gas, then that's fine. Natural.

[00:27:16] That's cool. There are the season later on where teens did not pay attention to the fact that their cars needed diesel, put regular gas in it and half the cars broke down. And the scenes were really, really screwed. Yeah, pay attention, read your clue.

[00:27:27] I am now having visions of young child Bryce being like, can I get a hot dog and a slushie mom? And just being like such a good helper to your mom and like wanting to go do all of the errands. You were made for this race.

[00:27:38] Also shout out to Sunshine, who by the way I've seen in the pool, who's getting a bathing suit. And I love that your mom and Sunshine are having like pool parties at her house. I always wanted a blow up pool when I was younger

[00:27:51] and I didn't get it, so I'm just confused as how my mom's dog now has a blow up pool. But as I grasped, amazing race season five episode. I fully went on Amazon and wanted to buy a blow up pool for Bacon to have a pool outside.

[00:28:04] You should in that big courtyard that you had. Sunshine loves it. I can't wait to get there with her. But yeah. After we're done doing this, I'm buying him a pool. Okay, so sorry, episode five. Nope, episode two, season five. Okay, so it's a roadblock.

[00:28:17] So it says the person who performs this task should have quick hands and quick feet. I don't like this. I don't like it. It's with animals, which I do like, but I do feel like teens. I don't like when animals are getting like rough house a little bit.

[00:28:33] And I feel like some of the teens were getting a little too rough with the cattle. You had to enter a corral, remove a bandana from a calf. It says you're not allowed to pull or tackle the calf. But this can't be fun for them. I don't...

[00:28:47] It makes me... I would have done it because I would have been very gentle about it, but I don't love this because I feel like some of these teens don't understand gentle. Again, amazing grace. If you have a little person on this season, is this the safest?

[00:29:04] Well, she just didn't do it. I mean, I know, but I'm just saying like, she shouldn't have to sit out because like, you know, like I just... Task should be that everyone can compete. Well, you'll remember, it happened with Todd, one of your favorites.

[00:29:21] It also happened in another season. There are tasks where it says someone under this weight limit, some are under this height, has to do this task if you weigh more or a taller or whatever you can't do. I remember Sherry... It happened the other way around. In Akbar.

[00:29:34] Akbar couldn't do the mountain cliff climate thing and my girl Sherry had to do with even though he wasn't that supportive, but shout out to Sherry. I like them. Okay, so in Season 5 there were no rules on how many roadblocks a team member could do.

[00:29:49] I'm really glad this rule was changed, but it's sort of okay then because Mirna had to do this one because Sherry was like, I don't have fast. Like I just can't... Right. But she wasn't mad about it and it is what it is.

[00:29:59] So, Brandon and Nicole get their first. Brandon does it very quickly. Charlotte and Mirna are second. Mirna says she's afraid of the cows. And then once they're done, you have to take a carriage to the pit stop. Mirna and Charlotte,

[00:30:16] the only ones, they ride up front with the driver. They don't actually sit in the carriage. Like they're just ridiculous and I love them. Jim and Marcia get it very fast. Marcia does it very... I know you don't like her, but she did it very, very fast

[00:30:27] and they're done quickly. Linda and Karen also very fast. Karen's a monster and they are in fourth and then you have Bob who goes in there and just very nicely takes the the kerchief off of the cow. Colin goes in there. I thought he'd murder the cow,

[00:30:44] but he didn't. He did it very nicely. And Lance, I don't know how he does it quickly. They don't do anything quickly and whatever, but he does it. And then you have Chip who lunges, literally throws his entire body in front of a calf and gets it

[00:31:01] and Cami and Carly, Cami gets it ninth. Tell me what your thing is. So let's talk about this, right? Because before we get to this cattle at an Alice and Donnie, or last continue, right? At the other place when we have to get a cab. Right.

[00:31:17] Chip and Kim and the twins are waiting for a cab. And yeah. And this is where my even more disdain for the twins come in there, because I feel like at the top of the episode, Chip and Kim and the twins was helping each other.

[00:31:35] And then I felt like the twins was like, oh, they left us, like, you know, as saying, I just feel like insinuating that like Chip and Kim are deceitful. Now here we are. Chip and Kim feel like they are at the end. It's these last two teams

[00:31:50] as well as the twins a cab comes. Chip and Kim both get in. Chip and Cami both get in. Chip and Cami. Right. And Chip get in. I love that neither will get out. I am loving this. Neither wants to get out until another cab shows up

[00:32:09] and they can both go and and good, because I thought Chip would have been like chivalrous and got out of that cab. And I'm for it because make another team wait to. Yes. And for me, though, I would have made the twins get in the other cab

[00:32:25] because I feel like you have to get your bag out and put it in the trunk. It gives you a lead. However, Chip and Kim get an a cab and they tell a cab to go, go, go, go, go. And they do.

[00:32:36] But this is what I don't like about the twins or the twins like that side of Chip that we saw. We didn't like. And again, for me, I understand the 2004 and I'm not saying this is what they were implying,

[00:32:49] but for Chip to be the only black man on this show and for y'all to be like, I didn't like that side of him that came out. We're going to look at him differently. First of all, all these other teams out here that are playing hardball.

[00:33:03] Did you say that with what's his name? Brandon at the airport and for y'all to say that about Chip, that you didn't like how he played it. Well, you didn't get your behind out the cab either. So what does that say about you?

[00:33:22] And I also just love Chip and Kim because in their cab, they're not even thinking about the twins. They're like, we have to do what we have to do again. I will say, you'll see it. I won't tell you what to wear,

[00:33:34] but Chip does make it a point to ultimately help them again and come back and say, OK, now we're even like stop hating on us. And then the girls are like, OK, you've redeemed yourself. And I'm like, shut up. He never needed to redeem himself.

[00:33:50] They're great, Chip and Kim are wonderful, but whatever. Anyway, when you're done with the ripping of Kurchiff off the poor baby cow's neck, you have to hop in a carriage, a worstrom carriage and get yourself to the pit stop. Charlotte, sit up front and hug the driver.

[00:34:06] Tell me what your thing is. Another thing is, I mind you, I just I feel like a 2004. So I'm hip to the editing, right? Because the edit would have us believe that like Chip and the twins are behind, right?

[00:34:20] And this is weird to me that when the twins get up there, like there and they play the music and the twins are like, oh, are we last? But. When they're leaving, you can hear Alice and say there are the twins. Like there are the sisters.

[00:34:40] And so it's like if they can say and see that, then the sisters would have to know that Donnie. I mean, if they are paying attention, I mean, I will say, race blinders are a very real thing.

[00:34:51] Sometimes you don't even know what's around you or what's going on. And just because you hear it on the microphone doesn't necessarily mean they were. You know what I mean? Like, okay, possible. I get it. I see what you're saying.

[00:35:01] But they didn't necessarily know they were behind them. Brandon and Nicole plus one check in in first place. Sure. He talks about Jesus so much. Like I feel like is not a right number of team Brandon and Nicole. And I'm OK with that.

[00:35:15] Look, if Jesus were on my team, cool by me. Sure. Jesus or is it a doubt Jesus on 18? I don't know. You're going to have to ask Brandon what version of Jesus. He sees or play with. Charlotte, Mirna, come in second. Mirna Huxville one more time.

[00:35:32] It's so funny, because Phil's like, all right, bring it in. Right. This is a this does not stop. Given Marsha come in third. Linda and Karen, the both. It's OK. It's they're not bad people. Linda and Karen come in fourth. Bob and Joyce again top half.

[00:35:47] You have the elderly. Honestly, it's kind of great with the exception of Chip and Kimber in their forties. Everybody else who's in the forties plus is in the top half. Colin, Christi or six. Marshall and Lance are seventh. Chip and Kim come in eighth.

[00:36:00] Cammy and Carl your ninth. And in the biggest fall from grace from first to last, you have Allison and Donnie, who because they absolutely hate each other and despise each other, come in last and are eliminated. And they both seem sort of fine with it,

[00:36:13] because it seems like they want to punch each other and never want to be around each other ever again. Yeah, it's crazy. And again, we love Donnie. Donnie. I don't know either of them. I'm sure they're both great. Like, I can't, you know, I've not met them.

[00:36:29] But I do know that she went on to be a big brother All-Star. And he is now the head of sales for some supply chain company. And I did read and I sent along to it. I don't have a chance to read it.

[00:36:42] They did an interview like right after they were kicked off the race. I don't think I've ever seen an interviewer more uncomfortable in interviewing previous contestants on anything. They're disdain and despise for each other is so evident. Did you read it?

[00:37:01] It's just I read like half of it. And I was like, why would they even? First of all, I wish it was on YouTube and not written because I would have love to see the video version of them going back and forth.

[00:37:17] She's like, all my ex-boyfriends reached out to me and was like, why wouldn't you have done this with me? Why did you do that with him? And I had to, you know, and he's like good luck to them. And the interviewer is like, where are you guys now?

[00:37:30] And she's she says, I moved five states away just to be away from him. He doesn't even know where I live. And his response was he doesn't even care where you live. Like, it's just the two of them are there is just

[00:37:41] this is a couple that probably never should have been. I didn't watch her season, a big brother. But apparently there were some issues about her like cheating on him. And then they got back together and and that was probably a mistake.

[00:37:51] And I hope they're both very happy and healthy in whatever relationships they are in this day. Right. I think them as a team kind of proves my point in this new era of amazing race, where I'm like outside of Ricky

[00:38:06] and Cesar, because we know that they aren't real people. They are superheroes teams in the beginning that like win the like. If I'm on an amazing race, I am not trying to win the first leg.

[00:38:19] One, because I feel like it puts too much of a target on your back. And two, I just feel like winning the first leg doesn't necessarily mean that you will win the race. And I feel like they're the prime example of like literally

[00:38:31] they went from the top to the bottom. Very, very well. You should also probably apply to the main series with someone that you don't want to murder. That's probably so. Well, I mean helpful. Yeah. Or somebody that you can put not putting down,

[00:38:48] because she's like, I'm the brains. He's just the broads. Yeah, he's not that smart. He's like, I'm like, girl, leave Donny alone. Yeah, I was like social media. I couldn't find him. I want to see what Donny looks like today. So if anybody that is listening or watching

[00:39:02] that knows Donny's social media. So I think he's in Nashville. I found him on LinkedIn. He's he looks the same. I mean, he was he. You could definitely tell it's still him. So I hope they're happy. I hope they're healthy. I hope they have moved on to something

[00:39:16] that is way healthier than that relationship. Yes. And yeah, well, that's it. That is our the pit stop coverage of the rewatch of amazing races. The five episode two will be back next week. When they go to I wanted to see where they go to next week.

[00:39:36] Was did you do in a series? And then I don't know. They're they're going to end. They will end up and you will get to see. They get to go to Egypt. They get to go to, I believe New Zealand. They get to go to.

[00:39:47] I mean, they go everywhere. This is this is a very long race. And it's a very exciting race. And I cannot wait for some of the things that I know you're going to see, because as much as you think the first two episodes are great and they are.

[00:40:01] I mean, whenever you can ask a prostitute for directions and whatever accent that was like, that's just. It's just gold. The teams are gold and it just gets better. I can't wait. I'm tuned in and I hope that you are as well. We'll be back next week. Bye.
