[00:06:52] Okay. She's actually in my living room and I was like we just have to make.

[00:06:57] Okay. Andrea said, I lose my crew. Okay. We made it to New York.

[00:07:03] So we have a lot to get through this episode. I'm gonna try to take my time but Brooke,

[00:07:11] take it away. What we got? What's happening? We're gonna jump through most of it fairly quickly.

[00:07:15] I'm sure to get to the part that the internet is a buzz about and we got the chance to speak

[00:07:23] to Angie and Danny this week and I let them know within the first like 18 hours after the

[00:07:28] episode, I said you don't have any former racers reached out to me to find out, you know,

[00:07:32] because I'm a nut job with rules. Like what were the rules? Like what did I think? Tell

[00:07:36] me what they thought and how it ranged from just like disbelief to just vitriol. People were so

[00:07:43] mad and I am so mad. Like I agree with the anger and so Danny and Angie however are very kind

[00:07:52] people who maybe, I don't know because if what had happened had happened to me, there would

[00:07:57] have been a very different outcome than and I don't necessarily, I don't mean like we would

[00:08:02] still be in the race. I mean I would have been arrested or you know thrown off the show because

[00:08:07] I would not have gone quietly. Anyone who knows me knows that I don't go anywhere quietly.

[00:08:12] I know that's right up in the Barbados jail. I'll put some money on your tab.

[00:08:18] Thank you. My commissary will be filled by Angie and my seat on the podcast will be

[00:08:23] filled by her as well because I'll be stuck in the Barbados jail. I mean after seeing some

[00:08:27] of the the pickleball players actually keep me up in that jail for a couple of days.

[00:08:34] He wants to get himself some visits. Okay leave me alone for a little bit.

[00:08:41] I don't know if either of you have ever been to Barbados but I went to Barbados in 2021.

[00:08:45] It is a tiny island. This is not like 20 miles long, maybe 15 miles wide. It's not

[00:08:53] a big place. It's gorgeous. I've always wanted to go but it's small so when we talk about

[00:09:00] where Angie and Danny's crew might have gone, they could have walked the island in the amount

[00:09:06] of time apparently it took them to find their team. When they all okay we'll get there.

[00:09:12] When they knew where the team was going and they have GPS and everyone on the crew is

[00:09:16] communicating via cell phone and letting each other know where they are. The into

[00:09:19] Andrew you know your camera guy and your sound person were on phones the whole time saying

[00:09:24] here's where we are. Here's where we are. I don't, I still this has been explained to me

[00:09:29] from the horse's mouth and I still don't understand what happened. What happened?

[00:09:35] What happened? You saw Danny go into his fanny pack the moment they realized he

[00:09:40] was going to be in the water. Okay so six teams there in Bridgetown Barbados which is

[00:10:08] a town with two bridges which I think is so funny. It's gorgeous. It's a tiny little island

[00:10:14] and group one which is Ricky and Cesar because why don't we not say that right? And Danny and

[00:10:22] Angie have to go to this Fairfield and Black Rock location. Now Ricky and Cesar helped

[00:10:30] Danny and Angie at the beginning. They're talking maps. They're sharing information.

[00:10:34] I like this. I'm cool with it. Help each other stay in the front. Absolutely. They stop at a gas

[00:10:38] station. They work together and all of a sudden in the most foreshadowing of all foreshadowings

[00:10:43] the heavens open up and there's basically a biblical flood in the country. Listen,

[00:10:55] you know other islands, Jamaica's, you know you came out like it'll rain for like five

[00:11:00] ten minutes. This was a torrential downpour. This was nuts. It was foreshadowing okay because

[00:11:08] what do they say? Jesus is coming back. He was letting us know he was getting ready to come

[00:11:13] back because some foolery was about to happen. Time foolery. So that's 7 40 in the morning.

[00:11:20] 15 minutes later you have Vinnie and Amber start and they start well for like 30 seconds

[00:11:25] and then they start. But I really, I do think it's editing. I honestly believe and some of the

[00:11:31] stuff online about Vinnie and Amber is it's funny. I think if you're not Vinnie and Amber

[00:11:35] and maybe they can laugh at it. I'm not sure yet but like people are putting up like Taylor

[00:11:39] Swift breakup lyrics over them and like make it's just I can't believe they're face to face

[00:11:47] because I like them a lot and I feel like Vinnie, I thought Amber was going to get the

[00:11:51] brook edit where it's like I can't do anything whatever but I feel like Vinnie's getting

[00:11:55] not the best at it and I hope he can laugh at it because we all love him. And then Rod and

[00:12:00] Letitia are in group two. Rod is proud of his wife. He is supportive of his wife. He is loving

[00:12:06] his wife. Her booty was good as a pan. Like she is just and I love them. I really and she's

[00:12:13] all every day is a new race. We're going to do great. They're very positive. I don't think

[00:12:16] we talk enough about them in their positivity and support. People online seem to think she's not

[00:12:23] doing that much. I respectfully disagree. I think she's holding her own and then some

[00:12:29] and she's having fun with it because we'll talk about when they get to the roadblock and she

[00:12:33] has to play road tennis or pickleball. Ignore the fact that this is very easy and it's just

[00:12:39] pickleball but and it's not even like you have to beat the other person. You just have

[00:12:43] to get 11 points. They could get 50 points as long as you get 11. You keep going. Now Bryce

[00:12:48] is sick and tired of me talking about how easy the tasks are so I won't talk about it anymore.

[00:12:52] It wasn't easy at all because I play a little tennis. You know my forte is badminton.

[00:12:58] Oh oh my goodness. I love badminton. I don't even want you to say that because I love

[00:13:04] you too much to put my serve on you. Listen in ninth grade they was not ready for my

[00:13:12] badminton. What are they using badminton? A birdie. What's it called though?

[00:13:19] A birdie. I think it has another name too though I thought. Well what is it? I don't want to say it.

[00:13:26] No what is it? Now you gotta say it. You two talk amongst yourself. I'm gonna google it. Oh

[00:13:34] because I mean I was because I want to know but I want to get you. No I'm not wrong.

[00:13:41] It's you're gonna make me say. No I don't. What is it girl? So when Bryce talked about the

[00:13:48] pilots initially oh and by the way side note spoke to Juan he's a fan. Hi Juan said to say

[00:13:54] hi to you. Bryce said he loves you and wants to meet you so big shout out to Juan and Shane

[00:14:00] although I only spoke to Juan. That's note to you. Hey Juan what's up? You know I'm dying

[00:14:07] and I are dying to sit in the cockpit and fly so whenever you're ready.

[00:14:12] I can't believe you're gonna make me say it. So he had me say the word cockpit because he

[00:14:16] thought it was so funny. Wait wait why or me? No you. You were talking about the pilots.

[00:14:22] You're like where does a pilot sit in a plane? I was like you're gonna make me say cockpit

[00:14:26] so now at badminton they use a thing it's called a shuttlecock is what the little birdy

[00:14:31] thing is also called and now you've made me say it again. No I'm not okay.

[00:14:37] You're no wonder me and Andrie is good at it. I was today years old that I didn't realize

[00:14:45] shuttlecock okay let's go. See we are an educational podcast on top of it all. I may

[00:14:51] have been eight when I knew what it was but you know I just knew Brooke would do her due diligence.

[00:14:56] However real quick I want to get back to Chi Chi real quick right because I don't like the

[00:15:01] rap that she's getting because I think that when you are married to someone like Arad who is

[00:15:08] great at everything I think people like forget how hard or how to know what to do with

[00:15:15] someone like that to support to uplift and to like you know Arad is good as well right

[00:15:21] and so I think that like for me I think that Chi Chi's strong point is that like

[00:15:25] she knows her role she knows what she is good at and what she is not good at and I'm not

[00:15:29] going to pretend like I'm good at something so even if I'm in the back seat and Arad is

[00:15:34] driving he's like where we going? You tell me. Exactly I don't know okay I know I got the map

[00:15:39] in my hand but I can't read it okay. You tell me and so like and regardless of all of that

[00:15:46] they're still very high up in the rankings and so it's like we don't stand for no uh the Chi Chi

[00:15:52] hate because I love Chi Chi. Me too. I don't think there's any problem saying I don't know

[00:15:58] I don't know but I'm gonna figure it out and with with Letitia I think the best part about

[00:16:03] her is they get to this roadblock and she's like I got it she's not saying you do

[00:16:07] everything she's not saying I can't do it she's like I'll do it and even if she's not the best

[00:16:12] at it which she was the first to admit she was like I'm having fun this is a good time Rod's

[00:16:18] like have fun but be faster I don't like you got this but she's just she's having a good time

[00:16:22] and isn't that now looking back because I know I could have had a whole lot more fun I look

[00:16:28] at it with rose colored glasses yeah but she's having fun in the moment and I love that I

[00:16:32] think that she is just she knows her strengths and even if it's not her strength she is still

[00:16:38] positive about it so everyone should back off and shut the big mouth um my question to you is

[00:16:46] if you don't know where you're going would you rather your partner say make a right

[00:16:50] and you be lost in an hour more in a detour or like say I don't know and figure it out

[00:16:57] I don't know what you're talking about we don't go the wrong way exactly and I love how positive

[00:17:02] he is towards her I mean I've not yet heard anything negative he's always pushing her very

[00:17:08] supportive and that's what you need especially under those those dire situations that he you

[00:17:14] see teams coming up you're like I mean I need positive reinforcement now come on what you're

[00:17:19] doing you see no I mean it's always nice when the person who is a bit stronger a bit faster

[00:17:26] is supportive instead of saying like keep up with me it's like I know you can't necessarily

[00:17:32] kill me but you're doing great and I will help you be your best and I feel like that

[00:17:37] is what Rod is to Letitia and I think she responds really well to it she chuckles they're

[00:17:42] cute you can see they're in love and I like it me too I think that that also last season

[00:17:46] that was something that I think Brooke and I fell in love with you and Melana right where it was like

[00:17:51] where you were weak she was strong when you were strong like when she was weak you were strong

[00:17:55] and you guys always were so positive about it yes so you know we see that and so yeah we see

[00:18:02] each other so again I just had to point that out there for myself thank you yeah again this

[00:18:07] is everyone's first time on the amazing race we don't know what we're getting into or you

[00:18:12] know that the you know how to maneuver but you know that's where that's where those points and

[00:18:17] times where you know your partners will step in and I see you you know getting friends on

[00:18:22] I'm gonna be the calm for that storm it's nice I mean you two could tell that you've known

[00:18:28] each other for a long time and you knew how to support each other I think that's the one

[00:18:31] thing that was a little hard you know on my season I met my partner Pat J and so well I

[00:18:37] mean at casting kind of but like right we didn't know each other and how we were gonna do I think

[00:18:43] it's really nice and I feel like and you know what even if you know the rules and you feel

[00:18:49] like you're a student of the game and you know everything about the race and I was like I could

[00:18:52] do this with anybody I know everything about it I've studied so hard and I've watched every

[00:18:56] episode and I know all the rules even when you get there it's so different and so much

[00:19:01] than you ever anticipated it would be you know my one climbing class and my two spin classes did

[00:19:08] not sufficiently prepare me thank you because I'd say all the time I work out four times a week

[00:19:13] I mean I'm running I do my Zumba classes I do my strength nothing prepares you really

[00:19:18] for those challenges but it's nice because I feel like I have been able to suck some positivity

[00:19:25] from all the contestants I feel like you guys last season were so just exuberant and happy and

[00:19:31] I was like I need to take I learn from the people that I watch and the people around me

[00:19:36] and so just I've sucked up some of your best which sounds like really creepy but it's not meant

[00:19:43] to you know it's not at all not meant to be creepy I'm a creep okay um so then group three

[00:19:49] starts we have Yvonne and Melissa um Yvonne wants to take it slow Melissa's all let's not take it

[00:19:56] too slow um and they're a great couple and I think we need to start right I think you need

[00:20:03] to start the boys who like boys who like podcasting Facebook page because I feel like

[00:20:07] the girls who like girls who like hiking Facebook page turned out a beautiful relationship

[00:20:11] so if we start the boys who like boys like podcasting page I feel like maybe maybe I

[00:20:17] could give me a man and maybe I could go on the amazing race okay uh and one thing that I just

[00:20:23] want to share with our listeners and viewers uh another reason why we're so happy to have

[00:21:24] spoilers but let's go yep I'm in I don't even chat live I mean oh I do oh Andrea is

[00:21:30] I just walk out there to see what's there that's so funny okay isn't it the best when you're like

[00:21:36] chatting when you put in a comment like every so often I'll put something in there somewhere

[00:21:40] where someone is very wrong she's gone I'll put something in there where someone is very wrong

[00:21:44] and then someone will be like you don't know and I'll be like they're like how would you

[00:21:48] know that and I was like well and somebody else will write in and be like she was 29 you

[00:21:54] take that absolutely that absolutely happened to me I'll put them like well you know what

[00:21:59] I was lost when we were lost in India you know then someone was like well you was on

[00:22:03] Amazing Race and the floodgates open you won't know why I said thank you let the crowd speak

[00:22:27] okay just just proving my point but I'm so sorry for convincing you

[00:22:32] this is so fun oh yeah yeah listen y'all get along so well for a reason and I don't mind

[00:22:40] that you guys are in a Facebook call I love it because I get to hear all about it but I definitely

[00:22:46] have learned that Andrea is a higher member in the call because Andrea go live for our okay

[00:22:58] apparently I'm low level okay and also Juan and Shayner in group three what up Juan and

[00:23:02] Shayne hi Juan can't wait to meet you um okay so while this is happening Ricky and Zayster find the clue um

[00:23:10] it says who wants to get into the swing of things they have to play this road tennis which I actually

[00:23:16] think looks really fun not really hard but really fun um I got to watch this episode I watched it with

[00:23:22] Ricky and Zayster and Kishori and Maya um was there and so it was really really fun and

[00:23:30] Zayster came over he goes Ricky doesn't like it when I cheer and Ricky heard him he goes

[00:23:34] that's right thanks for keeping your mouth shut like they're just so cute so Ricky's doing

[00:23:38] great um and then we have yeah who shows up next Danny and Angie not only does mother Angie

[00:23:49] like tennis she's to teach tennis yes yes I love that and Danny's so happy and Angie is on the

[00:23:58] court she's dancing around like this is the one you know how we say if you're on the race

[00:24:02] long enough something is going to be made for you this is the one that's made for Angie so

[00:24:08] I will say though uh Brooke because Andrea because I do love badminton and I know that you love

[00:24:12] badminton and I thought it was like so perfect for Angie however I do feel like if the twins

[00:24:18] Anthony and Bailey were still on the race I really do feel like this would have been

[00:24:24] their challenge they're outside in the street with the people I really feel like Anthony

[00:24:31] and Bailey don't encourage him that's not here's the worst part right they really have been

[00:24:37] every week Bryce says to me well this could have been their challenge and I get mad and he thinks

[00:24:41] it's funny that I get mad because there's nothing to base that on because nothing was

[00:24:44] their challenge because maybe they didn't last long enough I wrote a note this week to say

[00:24:50] mess with Bryce and say this would have been Anthony and Bailey's challenge

[00:24:55] and I didn't even get to do it but

[00:24:58] because you know

[00:25:03] all right whatever I didn't get there anyway Ricky and Cesar are out before anyone else gets

[00:25:07] there and they have to drive to Rihanna's childhood home now how do you know it's her

[00:25:13] home there's a huge sign on the right way how do you know uh Rihanna Rihanna's way so this

[00:25:19] is reason number 5700 why Ricky and Cesar probably should win this thing I got a little

[00:25:25] bit of inside information that they got the clue at Rihanna's and that yeah so they left they're

[00:25:31] on their way they're going to the next thing and then I think Cesar sent to Ricky or vice

[00:25:36] versa what did the sign look like on the ground because they're preparing for the last

[00:25:40] memory challenge they're going we don't know what it could be but it could be anything

[00:25:44] they drove back they took a few minutes and they drove back just to make sure they were

[00:25:48] aware of the color the picture exactly what it looked like because smart and so

[00:25:55] tell me if they win this thing without telling you in the lead because I never hear

[00:26:05] okay and had time to go back wow and had to wear with all the things oh wait we might need

[00:26:11] this later right and rather than guess later take two minutes now let's go back and get it

[00:26:16] and then move on so smart guys good on you okay so Angie's playing tennis she's kicking booty

[00:26:24] um and then this challenge I'm sorry for cutting you off no don't please that's what we do in

[00:26:29] this challenge like you could tell she was in her element honey yes oh my god I loved it and

[00:26:36] you know I'm going I'm gonna tell myself in the beginning of the season I was just like

[00:26:42] Danny and Angie I was I was kind of on the fence with them I'm listen I'm being

[00:26:49] in the beginning I said thank you for coming what we not doing

[00:27:04] I said don't hang up on her and he hung up listen I was just trying to tell my truth

[00:37:47] Long Bay Beach. Juan and Shane know the way but they're worried they're going the long way

[00:37:52] which again on this island I don't know how there is they know long way

[00:37:56] well there's a long way if you're Danny and Angie's crew because this is where the

[00:38:02] scandal happens. So the crew is in the car behind the two people on the team right because it's not

[00:38:10] a four-person vehicle like normal it's just a two-person car you're supposed to have your

[00:38:14] top down it was supposed to seem like a day at the beach kind of day at the race and that's

[00:38:18] not what we had because it was a monsoon but you had a walkie talkie to communicate with

[00:38:22] your crew behind you right um apparently the rule said if you lose your crew go to the next

[00:38:29] destination and they will meet you there so Danny and Angie are going around a roundabout

[00:38:35] they I'm not even gonna say they lost their crew their crew lost them like let's get this right

[00:38:40] because they I don't think they lost anybody I know people were honking I don't think they

[00:38:44] did anything illegal they were just going around a roundabout and their crew lost them

[00:38:50] Danny messages and says go ahead no please jump on it because no because I also you know I

[00:38:56] go to Europe a lot and there the roundabouts are confusing at times but the thing about

[00:39:01] the roundabouts are there multiple exits yes however you could just stay on the roundabout

[00:39:10] round and round so I'm that's that's that's what I'm gonna say there is a part of me that

[00:39:16] thought just stay on it and they'll come back to that spot and they'll find you

[00:39:20] but if the rule says go to the next stop spot and wait for your crew and they'll meet you at the

[00:39:25] next spot on the amazing race for anyone who doesn't know your camera person and sound person

[00:39:32] are on their cell phones constantly communicating with production communicating with each other

[00:39:37] saying this is where we are where are you yes and they know where the next stop is I do not

[00:39:43] understand I cannot wrap my head around how the crew who has cell phones and GPS

[00:39:50] and a local taxi driver telling them where they are going on an island that is no more than 20

[00:39:55] miles in either direction total from beach to beach let them tell them did not find the detour

[00:40:03] this does not compute with mind boggling to me and not only that were they not like five

[00:40:08] 20 minutes behind Angie and Danny apparently sat there for over an hour waiting for their crew

[00:40:14] to show up and they never did so so are you saying that they got to the next so they got

[00:40:20] to the next um challenge and they were like wait here wait here for 45 minutes yes they said

[00:40:27] they got out their car they said they went to the clue box and then they said the producers

[00:40:30] told them to go back into the car they have to wait for whatever and they said that they

[00:40:34] saw Ricky and Sazer they saw the other teams arrived that's and they just had to sit there

[00:40:42] oh yeah also said that they've seen never really even came and after they waited for 40

[00:40:47] minutes they said it's been enough penalty you can go they actually said that oh now shout out

[00:40:54] to the cult of Facebook and Instagram and Twitter because Andrea has provided us some

[00:41:01] detective work and okay the internet said this this is their crew okay this is what's

[00:41:09] saying you don't drink until i get to see Phil okay until then i need you to focus that's so

[00:41:16] funny whoever photoshopped them with these drinks first of all the drinks look good

[00:41:22] yes they look very refreshing they look very refreshing they do look about 40 minutes

[00:41:28] refreshing word uh but it's giving they definitely stopped somewhere and got something to eat

[00:41:33] because where are y'all at okay maybe the only thing i can think and i can't imagine this is

[00:41:45] now follow Danny and Angie so you guys just do like local shots and stuff like that like

[00:41:51] but i can't imagine that's the case i'm trying so hard to justify it it doesn't make

[00:42:02] sat in their car and waited i would have been like a rabid monkey running around and shaking

[00:42:11] the trees and speaking to people and screaming absolutely not in my waiting this is a race

[00:42:16] it's not on me to wait for them it's on them to find me show me in the rule show me in the

[00:42:21] rule book where i can't keep going because they say this hasn't happened before but i will a little

[00:42:26] behind the scenes on my season of the race we were in at le Como in Italy and not my team

[00:42:32] another team you're having to jump on these fantastically amazing gorgeous like Ferrari of

[00:42:37] the Seavotes and one team got their boat and their camera and sound guy were just slightly

[00:42:43] behind and the camera and sound guy said go we'll get the next one and so they left their

[00:42:49] their crew for a second there was no penalty i know Andrew you mentioned something about

[00:42:53] India where you guys lost we lost our crew i mean in the streets of India i mean jam-packed

[00:42:58] it was nothing but rickshaws all over the place rickshaws people walking elephants and

[00:43:03] any anything was out in these streets and we lost them and we and mind you we did pull over

[00:43:10] and waited i'm gonna say maybe 15 20 minutes i was like listen we gots to go right we can't

[00:43:15] be waiting any longer and i was like we'll meet them at the next spot and sure enough they were

[00:43:19] there i'm not risking my game or a million dollars for right for this this foolery right

[00:43:27] danny angie finally made their way to the front they're kicking butt and he's having

[00:43:31] the best day she nails a roadblock they get to the detour they are literally right at the

[00:43:37] front with ricky and say sir and to be told to sit in your car i would have said hell no

[00:43:43] you physically put me back in that car you touch me because this is not how i'm going out and to

[00:43:48] watch them sit there now danny and angie have either come to terms or just such good people

[00:43:54] that they don't have this rage inside of them like i have um but i am outraged outraged

[00:44:02] for this the rules need to change they they need to be brought back i will start a petition

[00:44:08] i am so angry about this and because they didn't do anything wrong maybe one thing if it was like

[00:44:15] if you do this there will be a one-hour penalty like that's not what happened so

[00:44:20] we could beat this horse until it is so so dead but whatever i i and it's just crazy to

[00:44:28] think that even with all of that penalty uh with rod and cheat sheet they still potentially

[00:44:34] like that's the thing for me that is just so frustrating that clearly we see

[00:44:39] the time that they get there and with everything that had happened they were the last one there

[00:44:44] but we clearly see how close they were yeah there was no chance they would have got there

[00:44:52] at any like that's the thing that's frustrating and i feel like this isn't the first time

[00:44:55] production has messed with them because i don't care what nobody's saying episode three when

[00:44:58] that boat didn't work and they couldn't switch to a boat yeah why didn't y'all make sure i

[00:45:04] stand on this hill why didn't y'all make sure all the boats was running properly okay yeah

[00:45:14] and lastly because i'm jumping all over the place uh because so there's been this huge debate

[00:45:22] right uh in the groups and internet about how it's an unfair advantage for cesar and ricky

[00:45:30] for most of the time since cesar speaks spanish and they've been a spanish speaking

[00:49:10] i would have done the seaweed but especially seeing for me i think what was the shocker

[00:49:14] was when juan and shane got there and just one barrel almost filled half of it

[00:53:47] you're rod and leticia and you keep getting this wrong and you see how fast wong and shane did it

[00:53:56] there you don't have to go find it you've seen what it is you see how quickly they did it

[00:54:00] maybe go do it but whatever um so those two are on their way to the pit stop

[00:54:06] um rod's doing the whole thing vinnie and amber are bickering um and whatever they do

[00:54:13] do that and so finally we have sorry we have danny and angie it's literally it's literally 14

[00:54:19] pages about this scandal so i had to skip it we have danny and angie and rod and leticia are the

[00:54:24] last two at the beach and danny and angie are still saying positive they're not even talking

[00:54:28] about this penalty or if they did they cut it out but i don't think they were talking

[00:54:31] about it which i still don't understand because i would have just been crying and

[00:54:35] screaming and they would have had to tell me to shut up yeah mentally as far as

[00:54:39] i would have been gone yeah no it would have been over for me um and so even with all of that

[00:54:45] danny like we're gonna take it slow and steady we're going i'm like danny yes i need you to

[00:54:51] pick it up but they basically did catch up i mean they did with all that they caught up

[00:54:57] and so the part that makes me so angry is given how how long they had to wait in the

[00:55:01] car there was zero chance they were going home they would have been in the next leg

[00:55:04] and they should have been in the next leg and they should be on the next season bring

[00:55:13] did they don't why do they not actually that is incorrect what they got to the pit stop first

[00:57:12] me more excited i love that they did the wheelbarrow challenge because if they had done

[00:57:15] the same one as everybody else i think it would have been a much more boring well not boring

[00:57:19] but more boring than it was i like that they the the two challenges were right next to each other

[00:57:24] you could watch them go oh my god everyone's still here oh my god everyone's still here

[00:57:28] we're out of here so i like when i like when that happens and you can actually an editing

[00:57:32] can't do anything about it you can actually see where everybody is um so i like that they did

[00:57:37] that they took it upon themselves they said we are strong we can do this side i like that

[00:57:42] when ron and latisha got stuck in the mud like my cousin vinnie style rod literally was

[00:57:46] like you drive he didn't even think he wasn't even like can i do this he was like boom it was

[00:57:53] so impressive i was clutching my pearls are we from the pit stop because one minute you see robin

[00:58:00] the t-shirt stuck in the mud and then you see danie angie coming i was like where are we where

[00:58:04] are we how far apart is it really i was like at the seat of my pants like who is going to be

[00:58:09] there to see phil that was nail biting for me yeah part of me was like you know what if

[00:58:14] after all of that um danie and angie stayed in it then it would have been like beautiful

[00:58:21] i still would have been mad but with the group starts it really wouldn't have had really

[00:58:25] negative any any negative impact on them at all because you've seen them make up that 30 minutes

[00:58:30] exactly the past but i do love rod and latisha so i can't there was side note we did

[00:58:36] hear that danie said that when they got to the map there before phil said you're eliminated

[00:58:41] they stood there for a while and the producers had like a little pow wow of a little meeting

[00:58:46] of the minds of what do we do here because i think they might have realized oh no this is on

[00:58:53] us this isn't on them so i would not have been mad if the no elimination rule had been

[00:58:59] squashed for this situation but alas it was not and it was about the mega leg early right

[00:59:07] well everyone else had checked in so i don't know that you well if they decided beforehand

[00:59:11] yeah we're just gonna make it a keep racing because the next leg actually is still in

[00:59:15] barbedos so oh in theory i don't know what was discussed i wasn't in that meeting but

[00:59:22] i wish i had been because i would have been advocating real hard to not send danie and angie

[00:59:27] home but they get to the mat and they have this moment of just if there's still pure joy

[00:59:32] he's lived his dream she's done it for her kid and they could have gone i really do believe

[00:59:37] they could have gone so much further they were really they had found their footing and i think

[00:59:42] angie found her like voice and her belief in herself a little bit more and so i don't think

[00:59:48] this is the last we'll see of them i'm hoping it's not oh definitely thoughts feelings comments

[00:59:54] from yeah this is definitely not the last we're going to see a danie angie i mean just with

[00:59:59] all of this all of this talk and all of this back and forth with the internet and

[01:00:03] we're not this is not the last yeah definitely not the last i also think that for me it was like

[01:00:10] it's real life right there's sometimes in life where it's like i deserve this i need this and

[01:00:14] guess what like you don't get it when you want to get it right and i always feel like he may

[01:00:17] not be there when you want them but he's going to always be on time and i feel like the way

[01:00:22] that danie and angie held their heads up high and showed grace in this situation for me

[01:00:29] it's like i don't care who win danie and angie are the winners in my book period point blank

[01:00:36] yeah doors will open because it is right that there is a little part of me that thinks you

[01:00:41] know what good on the amazing race because it people don't talk about it as much as they talk

[01:00:46] about the other two big cbs reality tv shows but this moment has caused such an uproar on

[01:00:53] the internet that it's causing people to talk about it it's cause talking causing people to

[01:00:57] talk about rule changes causing people to debate and you know maybe maybe that's not a bad thing

[01:01:03] and i actually feel that because danie's sense of direction is so good that if they are brought

[01:01:08] back on a season where you are going around the entire world and directions are a little

[01:01:12] bit harder in like a country where there's a language barrier for everyone maybe they'll benefit

[01:01:17] more if he can convince his mother to go back right yeah the next time around so i was

[01:01:23] interesting to see yeah happy to see them again and you know danie is like me in the way that the

[01:01:28] amazing race was number two on my list of things to do before i died but right at the top of his

[01:01:34] list of things to do and when you get to live your dream for no matter how long it is more

[01:01:39] than a leg maybe i don't think i would have been satisfied with one leg but if you get to

[01:01:43] live your dream for you know he ran more than half of the race and did it so well and

[01:01:49] there's just something to be said for when you get to cross that off a bucket list yeah but i think

[01:01:54] you should write it on the list again so he can cross it off again because i think so that's my

[01:01:59] chatty chatty thoughts and well said brook i love this has been so much fun uh question

[01:02:19] two weeks away from the finale who do you think is going to take it and why my first thoughts

[01:02:25] were wan and shane i that's who i i visually saw i was like oh they look like they're a strong

[01:02:31] cup a strong team um with especially with their background that's who i started off with um and

[01:02:37] you know what did you feel that way after shane cut the avocado

[01:02:41] now the avocado had no bearings for me neither

[01:02:48] i mean but in all honesty how do you cut an avocado if you're not if you don't ever do

[01:02:58] cutting of an avocado that i can see how maybe maybe you hold it in your hand and you go

[01:03:03] around this i have that same grace for bailey and anthony then that's all i'm gonna say

[01:03:10] i had written down that perhaps the road tennis would have been bailey and anthony's jam thank you

[01:03:18] yes it could have been it could have been i still think that shane and wan has it in them to win

[01:03:25] i mean i don't lie as as far as we're seeing is probably going to be ricky and cesar but

[01:03:30] we'll see because you know they are kicking ass and you know what i also i also feel like

[01:03:35] you know they're not they're not like you know these chiseled out you know we

[01:03:40] know these buff people they're average the average people walking down the street

[01:03:46] that shows you like anybody can win this race anybody can apply and join and you know you don't

[01:03:53] have to you know have all the brains have all the the body physicality because amazing race is

[01:03:57] a combination of both so i mean i when i started the race i had the strength of wet noodle

[01:04:03] my art like i weigh a pound soaking wet like you don't have to be the strongest and you don't

[01:04:07] have to be the fastest but between the two of between the two of you if you can complement

[01:04:12] some physicality some brains and some speed i think anybody can do it people i've heard

[01:04:19] people be like i can't and i'm like yeah don't look like catchphrase i get it but yes you

[01:04:25] can and i i think that's the best part when you did you learn or i'm sure you did so

[01:04:30] what is it that you felt that you learned about yourself or that you you know thought

[01:04:34] you couldn't that you could or what did you learn from just being able to push myself

[01:04:40] mentally um through the challenges it was like if if i could do that i could do anything and

[01:04:45] it's in this it's really you know us as human beings just getting in our own heads and we're

[01:04:51] the ones that are holding back ourselves so i mean that that whole experience i will i will

[01:04:57] always forever cherish you know the amazing race and what we went through and what we did that

[01:05:03] holds near and dear to my heart and i would love to go back anytime anytime i'm here for out of

[01:05:10] town is like here for part two we need a redo but yeah it just pushes it just tells me just

[01:05:15] solidifies and confirms for me that we just get in our own ways so it's so true the one

[01:05:22] thing i try so hard now in life because i get i didn't even realize i was saying it but i

[01:05:27] was saying i can't every time i was doing something so i joke around that if you watch me on mute i'm
