[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_03]: of the Real Housewives of Potomac season nine.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And you know if it's Real Housewives of Potomac,

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I have to have my kaki on sister,

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Dr. Jatia Hart-Taylor with me

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_03]: and we gotta break this season down.

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_03]: They just released the trailer a couple of weeks ago

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_03]: and they cast photos.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_03]: So Jatia and I took a look at the trailer

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_03]: and we're gonna tell you what we think

[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_03]: about this season so far and look at the photos

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_03]: and see what the ladies are giving.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_03]: So let's get into the Real Housewives

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_03]: of Potomac season nine first look.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a man who is a man you me and potatoes

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: like we're cooking up a great stew.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a man who is a man you me and potatoes

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_01]: like we're cooking up a great stew.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_03]: What is going on?

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_03]: It's been a little minute, but I am so excited to be here

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_03]: talking Real Housewives of Potomac season nine.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_03]: And if I'm talking Real Housewives of Potomac season nine,

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_03]: you know I had to call in a favor and get my good, good friend,

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_03]: my good, good, good sister, my annoying cuddle buddy.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_04]: You love to cuddle with me.

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Come on, cuddle buddy.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_04]: You know nobody cuddles,

[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_04]: nobody phones you like I do.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm so happy to be back

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_04]: and I am so happy to be talking about

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Real Housewives of Potomac

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_04]: and the trailer just dropped.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_04]: The cast photos are out.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I have on my spectacles of infection and judgment.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'd like to talk about what we got going on up here,

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_04]: what we have in store for this new season.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I'm super excited

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_03]: and I'm joined by my Kagean sister, Dr. Jassiya Hart-Taylor.

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_03]: She just loves to take control

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_03]: like Rebecca on the Brainstribe

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_03]: and it's the first day as she is going to build shelter.

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, let's go.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Guess what? I have a plan for a shelter.

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh my gosh.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_04]: No, this is going to be so much better.

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm into it.

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw when I saw the cast photo

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_04]: and I saw the green pop pop pop in

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_04]: so I wore a little green for our little chit chat.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought overall, when I looked at them,

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_04]: green was a fantastic color.

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, it's giving cherry blossoms.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_04]: It's giving, you know,

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_04]: we all really live within the city limits of Potomac

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_04]: and cherry blossoms.

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, depends because it's central Potomac.

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't say that was the truth.

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I said that's what it's giving in the fuck.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, according to Kara Huger, okay,

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_03]: you got to be in central Potomac for it to be considered Potomac.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you can be in like east Potomac, ew.

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep, yep, yep.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, so the trailer dropped.

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_03]: We got some new photos

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_03]: and so we just want to do a first look

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_03]: at Potomac season nine.

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_03]: We're just going to go through the photos

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_03]: and we're going to talk a little bit

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_03]: about what the ladies are going to be having going on.

[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_03]: And we're going to talk about the trailer

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_03]: with Potomac airing October 6th.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_03]: You can expect Jatia and I bi-weekly,

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_03]: we will be coming to you every two weeks

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_03]: covering two episodes of Potomac at a time.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And so yeah, you know, we're back.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, Potomac is our thing.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_03]: I have to say though, before we get into Potomac

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_03]: or before we get into this new season,

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_03]: although I was, you know how I feel about Candice Dillard.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_03]: That's my girl.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I love to hate her.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm a deep fate, deep space fan.

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_04]: You had it right the first time, deep fake.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I am so sad that Candice is not on this season,

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_03]: especially with her being pregnant.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I just saw on her Instagram she had a baby shower.

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_03]: It looked luxurious, which probably means Dottie paid for it.

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_03]: But like I really feel like this would have been such

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_03]: a great Candice season.

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And so although I don't always agree with Candice,

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I definitely think she makes good TV.

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_03]: So she will be missing my book.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations to Candice.

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Moving on.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Moving on.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_03]: So let's just get into the cast photos

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_03]: and let's talk about what they will have going on.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_03]: My good, good girl, Giselle Bryant, her first season without

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_03]: her good girlfriend, her reasonably shady partner, Robin,

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_03]: will not be joining us.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_03]: But it says that Giselle Bryant is thriving as she focuses on dating

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_03]: and building out the newly branded G and a fusion and wellness initiative

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_03]: in the memory of her late father.

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_03]: After an emotional roller coaster year,

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_03]: she's decided to mend some of her fractured relationships in the group.

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_03]: But the way she goes about it doesn't really fit

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_03]: the way that people go about wanting to fix things,

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_03]: i.e. Giselle will be messy this season.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_03]: And IE Giselle is without Robin, so she's got to extend some of my relationships.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that was a very long summary.

[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, oh, this is a lot.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_04]: This is interesting because like from afar,

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_04]: it looks like Robin with a weave.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_04]: So this was kind of interesting.

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't look like like from a it just like a squint.

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's just giving me like not just Giselle specific.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_04]: She looks nice. So I'll say that.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Usually Giselle is our like, you know, fashion challenged one.

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_04]: She's getting together.

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_04]: She has and she looks beautiful in this dress.

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_04]: She looks beautiful. It doesn't look like Giselle.

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what's what's off her hair is banging.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Her hair is cute. Her dress is cute.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Her nails are cute.

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's all cute.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_04]: She given a gentle hair hole.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, I like that.

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_04]: It's very cute.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_04]: So good, good job for her.

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if like she did something to her face

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_04]: or like he has bigger eyebrows, but like something about

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_03]: a little airbrush, you know, everybody love

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_03]: a little added little filter these days.

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_03]: You look great.

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Look, whatever it is, it looks great.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_04]: She got the soft pink.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm telling you, the greens was doing it for the ladies.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_04]: This so yes, I'm loving it.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I got your home.

[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_03]: She is a green eye bandit.

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, listen, then we have Miss Ashley Darby.

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Now, OK, Ashley serving it.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And in the trailer,

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Ashley has like she's wearing a blonde wig and three seconds

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_03]: into the trailer, I was like, is that Robin?

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, Ashley, I feel like in this photo, she looks like Ashley,

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_03]: but a lot in the season, I'm like, is she Robin?

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_04]: So clearly Robin has grown up from the girls.

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, nobody like the girls do black line very well.

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_04]: And this is another example of killing the black blonde.

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Like she got the whole Beyonce in the wind, like there's a lot of movement in her hair.

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_04]: She's, you know, giving man in the mirror one glove only, you know?

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I love it.

[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I noticed that I love like the nakedness on the leg on one side

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_04]: and the nakedness on the arm on the other.

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_04]: She's giving I'm a rich mistress, pay me in champagne and diamonds.

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, Elizabeth Taylor, white diamonds, black and white.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I've always had luck with these kind of vibe.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I love it.

[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I don't have to pull that out.

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_03]: But I don't know either.

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_03]: It says Ashley Darby is not playing any more games as she

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_03]: fledges full steam ahead to get a divorce.

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_03]: She's throwing herself into the dating pool

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_03]: by balancing single motherhood, co-ownership of G&A

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: and having lots of fun along the way.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I do believe that will probably be probably get a new single from Ashley.

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_03]: This season over the summer, there was a clip that I sent you.

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_03]: It looked like a yoga studio.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And Ashley was singing her song.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_03]: OK.

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Done.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I you know what?

[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I'm not big on housewife singles.

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Nothing can ever talk party for the party.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_03]: So like don't don't don't be sorry for the fact that that still is in my

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_03]: eye tunes and when I'm getting ready sometimes to go out,

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I still play a little party for the party.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, don't be sorry for the body.

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, oh, oh.

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I would like to cut up nine.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Me and I all the details like it's the free play.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_05]: Is the one here?

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, I think I think Bravo.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_03]: There are like three iconic songs for me.

[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_03]: There's Tardy for the party.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_03]: There's a money can buy you class money.

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Can buy you class.

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Money can buy you class.

[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Ella can learn my friend.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, then Countess Countess is on the list to eat.

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Shea, LaRie.

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Shea, LaRie.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Shea, LaRie.

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, and then here's another song now.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like to admit this because it comes from the Real Housewives of New

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Jersey and you know, I'm team Teresa all day.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Y'all can hate me all you want.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_03]: But you know, I was in the Hamptons this summer with Teresa.

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_03]: So Teresa is my girl.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_03]: But her sister in law, Melissa, she released a single back in the day on display,

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_03]: on display, on display.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I remember that one did not hit.

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I like I fly above on my head.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, I fly above on my head.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I fly above.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, I don't even do some Erica Gerardi.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_04]: It's expensive to be me.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Now, I like that, you know, because yeah, it is.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_04]: I like that better than Candice.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, back to the story.

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, back to anything Candice says, but you know, whatever.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Now let's get to the grand bomb.

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_03]: The aftermath of the car accident and the DUI charges is taking a toll on

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Karen Huger and her family as she tries to pick up the pieces.

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_03]: The ladies want the 411, but getting the full story proves to be challenging.

[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_03]: It's Karen Huger.

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_03]: You think she's going to give you the 411 after y'all when she told you about

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_03]: the taxes and y'all sent free Uncle Bill?

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Right. Y'all coming in with T-shirts, homemade T-shirt.

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_04]: So Karen looks fantastic.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_04]: The dress could have done better, could have done more for her.

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_04]: But I blame the dress.

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I blame the dress not her.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_04]: So I just want to like that.

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I like the trench coat dress.

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I think Karen is eating in this photo.

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_04]: But not her dress.

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_04]: So I like her because it's a coat.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not a dress, it's a coat.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_04]: She should have put on a dress.

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I mean, it's different, like just a little bit too much

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_04]: wizard of Oz for me, but she always looks fantastic.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I just feel like she could have like it could have been fitted better.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, it could have been better, but it's nice.

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Look, her ring is popping, honey, to make up his ride.

[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_04]: The nails on point, the shoes are cute.

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_04]: It's just the fit, the fit to the cup.

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_03]: She is letting you know the institution is still intact with that ring.

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, yes.

[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_04]: But Miss Karen Huber has assets, honey.

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm not seeing like I see a little bit of a little bit of I, you know,

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_03]: but she's she's been very classy, very demure.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I know it ain't gonna fit for me, though.

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_04]: She I won't give me more.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Give me more.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Give me more. OK, well, you want shape?

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_03]: You want body of OK?

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, listen, although Wendy is retiring her professor hat,

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_03]: she's still Dr.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Wendy in these Potomac streets and she's headed to the White House

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_03]: as she prepares to enter the Forty Club.

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Wendy is letting loose in like never before and living her best life.

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, girl, I feel like I feel like you should be talking about the candles.

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_03]: You're like you should be talking to like girl.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_03]: But listen, we got a little here.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_04]: So yes, Wendy looks nice.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_04]: She looks great.

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_04]: State happiness are firmly in place and looking fantastic.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Her makeup is on point as usual, as well as her hair.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_04]: She's getting again the blonde black look.

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_04]: They be killing it and put on with the black look.

[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_04]: What ring is on point?

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Hair is on point nails are on point.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Classic Wendy looking serving.

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_03]: She is serving.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Interested to see how she will do this season without her bestie, Candice.

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_03]: But no, Wendy is serving.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And again, if anything like this little bio is reading, I am excited.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Like I feel like last season, Wendy was like in a dark place

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_03]: or all of the girls were in a dark place.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And so I'm really hoping that like we can kind of start fresh and start anew.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_03]: But Wendy looks great.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_03]: She might be my favorite dress right here.

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_04]: So maybe I'm hoping that like, yeah, distress is cute.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Out of the all the ones you've seen, she's this is my favorite as well.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm hoping maybe her and Keanna can click up, you know, so she'll have.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I mean, well, they were allegedly friends.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, she was the one that brought Keanna in the group.

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Although she wanted to share room with her.

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_04]: She's got an entry to the, you know, on the dark skin click.

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, like they had the green eye band.

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_04]: It's they got the cocoa, the cocoa collaboration.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Girls. OK.

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, let's meet a new housewife.

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_03]: We have Stacy Ruth.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Roush has entered the Potomac chat and she is causing a lot of chatter.

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_03]: She's a former QVC host and a mother of an eight year old daughter

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_03]: who, after 16 years of marriage, is divorcing her husband

[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_03]: as she's entered in this new phase of her life.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_03]: She is struggling with the disposition of dating again

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_03]: and navigating romantic relationships with her best friend

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_03]: who is choosing celibacy, celibacy.

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Am I saying that right?

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm like celibacy, right?

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. You don't even know how to say it.

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I know it just sounds like I'm not saying it right.

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Celibacy because I don't know what that is.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Celib. Not too much.

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Celibacy. Yeah.

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_03]: You got the bus part, right?

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Celibacy. OK.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Celibacy. Listen, I'm in my celibacy era,

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_03]: so I know what it's all about.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_03]: But she is choosing celibacy over intimacy.

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: She looks pretty.

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_03]: I just have to see with these new housewives.

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I just don't know. I don't know.

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't like her lipstick, so I'm just going on physical things.

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_04]: She looks beautiful.

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Her twins are also here. They're here.

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_04]: The dress is just made for me.

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Again, it's not given shape.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of shapeless.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Like it's a beautiful dress, but it's like beautiful gown.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Gown.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_03]: A gown.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Wait, time out. Do you even know that reference?

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_04]: What? No, I didn't.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I totally miss me.

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_03]: What do you think about Taylor Swift?

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, beautiful gowns.

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, OK. Got it.

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Patty. Do you know who said that?

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_04]: It was another older singer who was basically dismissing her.

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it was Patty or Aretha.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_03]: It was.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_03]: OK. It was Aretha. Yeah.

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I know it was.

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I look, I can see the older black lady.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Just yes. Yes, I got it.

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_04]: It took me a minute. I came around because Aretha was like trying to

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_04]: give the compliments she could like only an older black woman can't

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_04]: like give her compliments.

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_03]: They were they were giving Aretha like list of singers and like asking

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_03]: like, right, it's our girl.

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Ask them if they could sing or not.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And girl, she was that beautiful gown.

[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_04]: She would say other compliments that nothing to do with singing,

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_04]: which I love.

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_00]: In Deutschland stream in jeden Tag million von Menschen Musik

[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_00]: podcast on online radio.

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Ergebnisse liefert.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Das ist Katz digital.com.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Beautiful jewelry, beautiful hair.

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know the makeup, the lipstick color.

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. It's just a little off for me.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_03]: But oh, she's the first time housewife, you know,

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_03]: you kind of get on the beat and then you got to, you know,

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_03]: you got to see how you look on TV and adjust another newbie.

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Not really a newbie, but I'm excited.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_03]: She actually is a full housewife, Miss Kearnas Stewart.

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Is trying to pass behind her, but some wounds take longer

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_03]: to heal than others while Kearna is working on building

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_03]: her relationship with the other woman.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Her plate is full as she's running her business and launching

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_03]: a new skincare line.

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, this is how Wendy's bio should have read.

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, launching a new skincare line at the same time

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_03]: she's moving in with her man Gregory, but things become

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_03]: challenging while his expectations are not met.

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, what are his expectations?

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_04]: He's not like a bitch to begin with.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_04]: He's got a thumbs down from me.

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Kearna, girl, if you ain't mean expectations, honey,

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_04]: maybe you need to change me.

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Not expectations.

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Fuck him and his expectations.

[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_02]: But I'm I did it.

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_04]: It's killing it, honey.

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_04]: KK is killing it.

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_04]: OK, KK killing.

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm a major service, mid-drip.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I mean, I love it.

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_04]: I love her whole look.

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I love the natural lip.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I love the part, you know, the part of Naomi Campbell.

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_04]: High hoop look like she might take them off on you.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And we and we know she can and we know she can.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Nails pop in.

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I think she looks fantastic.

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm really excited to see her story line.

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm already upset for her and her man who like she's beautiful.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_04]: She seems like she has it together.

[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_04]: She she she a down ass chick, clearly.

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_04]: So I am really looking forward to seeing her story line.

[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I think she's a welcome addition in my book.

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, now let's.

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, Lord, last we have Miss Mia Thornton, OK, who came on as a newbie

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_03]: almost two seasons ago.

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_03]: We were unsure of Mia's position, but in the last two seasons,

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Mia has surely solidified her spot and ensuring that the drama

[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_03]: of Potomac continues to roll.

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Mia Thornton's life is what you call complicated.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_03]: She's in the process of getting a divorce from Gordon while her

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_03]: relationship with her new man, radio personality Inc.

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Is hotter than ever.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_03]: If that wasn't enough, the ladies are questioning some of her actions,

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_03]: making it hard for her to know who she can trust in the group.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Messing me up.

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm going to tell you.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_04]: This was the disappointment.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_03]: This was oh, no, I'm living for the blonde.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, the dress.

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I love the dress.

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_04]: The dress is not cute to me.

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_04]: The dress disappoints and you know, I expected better from her.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, I just don't think I don't know.

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, I don't blame her.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I blame the dress.

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_04]: It ain't you girl.

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the dress.

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_04]: The dress ain't doing it for you because you're beautiful.

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_04]: And like, I feel like this dress makes her look like really

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_04]: like bulky up top and like, I would have liked to see something that

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_04]: like gave her like this.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, I don't know.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_03]: This reminds me of.

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_04]: It looks great.

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_04]: It just ain't that great with it.

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_03]: It reminds me of a similar dress.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Beyonce wore to the Grammys the first year she went solo and

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_03]: sung dangerously in love.

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_03]: It reminds me of that.

[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I like the dress.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I think Mia looks cute.

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_03]: All of the girls look amazing.

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_03]: And I am really excited for this new season.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Now the three minute trailer is out and I did just take some notes to

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_03]: talk about some things that looks like will be on the horizon in this season.

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like all of the ladies at some point in time are getting along,

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_03]: which we love to see because I feel like on season eight at no point

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_03]: in time or any of the ladies getting along.

[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And while we love to see conflict on a franchise, I don't like to see

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_03]: the franchise just in disarray.

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Wendy's 40th birthday appears to be a pivotal party scene.

[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like there is drama between Mia and Karen.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And we know that ain't good.

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Because both of them.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_04]: So and then I think the big thing that all brings into it

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_04]: head will be Karen's car crash, right?

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_04]: OK.

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_04]: It seems like Stacy is trying to be on Karen's side.

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_04]: And she gets propped away.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll see Mia still be a messy.

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_04]: We see her and Gordon and all in the same room.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_03]: They said who Jeremiah daddy is.

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And here's the thing that kind of pisses me off about that though,

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_03]: right? Because all of the finale.

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, right.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_03]: The finale was filmed what a year ago.

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_03]: We know that they put the cameras back up to get that last scene.

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Baby, you should have the DNA test back by now.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, like, more of Jeremiah's sitting in the living room

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_04]: with the envelope being like in the case of Jeremiah,

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_04]: you are the daddy to one of them.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't think that long?

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, Gordon can't run around the stage.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_03]: So Gordon will have to walk by my.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe to go ahead and happen.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Baby, they got them DNA kids that you could get from Walgreens

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_03]: because my little cousin wasn't sure.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And mind you, he swabbed the baby while he was at life.

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_03]: You could get them back to you.

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_03]: It also looks like the girls trip this year is going to be the Panama.

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_03]: So that should be fun.

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. Yes.

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I think the Panama, the trips are always fun.

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, that's always a great way to get the girls together.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Because I mean, as well off of these ladies are, they love a free trip,

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_04]: you know, to argue about bedrooms and who gets their own bathroom.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's they I would say they love a free trip almost as much

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_03]: as you love a free dinner.

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I do love a free day like let's keep it real.

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Mama likes a free dinner.

[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't say medium.

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I love a free dinner as well.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_03]: That's why every time I'm in Chicago and I'm on my way to just see your house,

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I text her get the hair rolls.

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Correct. Correct.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_04]: The hair rolls are my hubby cooking one of us or what?

[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Video cooking, you know, well, no, not your hubby cooking

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_03]: because when I'm there, your hub, your husband, having me be cooking.

[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And then it looked like I said, we like I like free meals.

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_04]: So whether it's you or my hubby or Harold, it's all to the good.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I always say this story whenever I say this story.

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_03]: But when I came to your house the last time and your husband had me

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_03]: making dinner while he was on the phone and your son, Harry, was watching me.

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to be cooking.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_03]: I got the face time like on one of the cabinets.

[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_03]: He going to be like, but ice is the couscous burning.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Excuse me, sir.

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_03]: You can't you don't know if it's burning or not.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to need you to back one up.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_03]: But it was.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_03]: But it wasn't. But you ate it and it was good anyway.

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It was delicious.

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like Wendy's talk show or Wendy's YouTube show is

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_03]: taking off.

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like she is interviewing some White House correspondent.

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_04]: And she is interviewing actually a really big catch.

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the White House press secretary.

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_04]: First Black female White House press secretary.

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, so I'm commending Wendy.

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_03]: You stick into a project.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_03]: This is probably the first time two seasons in a row.

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_03]: We are seeing her stick to something.

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm excited about that.

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like Giselle's baby daddy

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Pastor Jamal Bryant gets engaged and you know,

[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Giselle is dealing with that also looks like Giselle has a love

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_03]: interest, maybe her and Jason aren't, you know, together like they are.

[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_03]: But you know, Giselle is dating.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Again, the house trailer is it looks like a pair of lips

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_04]: was coming closer here ear.

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_04]: So I hope that's still Jason.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_04]: He was cute.

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_04]: But I think they had understanding of their

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_04]: situation ship and I love to see that like grown up relationship.

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Like we know where we at.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I love it.

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Then the new housewife, she has a new fiancee they together.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_03]: But they're choosing celibacy over intimacy.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_03]: And here's my thing.

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to be alone.

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's see how I mean, I commend them do stick to your goals.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, if you're going to be celibate, I love it.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_04]: And especially when you have a strong faith and you have reasons behind it.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_04]: But I'm sure that will be an interesting talking point to say the least.

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_04]: And we'll see if, you know, their celibacy just becomes, you know,

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_03]: At my tender age that I met, I need to test drive to call.

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I need to hold it for a weekend before I know.

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I know that I mean, they never told it.

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_04]: They just said they choose the celibacy now.

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's also what I'm wondering.

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Like maybe they test drove it and decided to, you know, put it back in the garage.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_04]: We never know.

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_04]: People come to it.

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_03]: It seems like Kearna is still holding on to some issues about

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_03]: the altercation with Deborah from last season.

[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_03]: And then it seems Ashley.

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_04]: One of the issues is her tissue because you have a scar

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_04]: across her forehead.

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_04]: And so you'll see in the trailer that somebody brings it up

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_04]: and she's very sensitive about it.

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_04]: I can see why, you know, look, she turned out into look,

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm healing this scar with my.

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Now that's how you do it, Kearna.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_03]: OK, now hopefully Gregory can support you.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_03]: It very much so looks like

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Herons, do you I will be the center and the focus of.

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_03]: This season, I know that much.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Interest back from her and a lot of people

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_04]: going to be looking at her and seeing.

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, it's funny because as she says in in the video

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_04]: that, you know, you could she was like, oh, I could have died.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_04]: She was like, yeah, you could have killed other people too. So.

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_03]: And all I know is.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_03]: And I love me some Karen, but I don't want to hear the death of your mother

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_03]: as an excuse, Karen.

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, I mean, it's like at a certain point in time,

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_04]: you got to move past and heal and grow.

[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_04]: So again, it's not a lot.

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Right. And just with this D.Y.

[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And this is our ninth season and season three, season five and season six.

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_03]: They they alluded to like, you know, Karen and her wet in the whistle.

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And my true we love when Karen's wet in the whistle on camera because

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_03]: we get great Karen, but it'll be interesting to see this play out.

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Again, of course, it's the Mia and the Gordon in the Inc. situation.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like Giselle and Wendy may have realized that since their besties

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_03]: are gone, we might need to form an alliance.

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. And get on the same page.

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_04]: So I think that is so much to get into.

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I am super excited.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like they only showed us the first half of the season like they do.

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_04]: And I think this season is going to be really interesting.

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_04]: And it just seems to me like we haven't had that much of a break

[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_04]: between seasons, but hey, I don't mind.

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm having a great time and I can't wait to October 6th

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_04]: in this party started.

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_03]: So we will be back, but we wanted to give you a first look at Potomac.
