[00:02:53] Hello. I'm so excited we're talking about episode 12 today. This makes me really excited. No, no, no. Dude, I warned you. I told you, Bryce. I told you, and I brought it back up today. No, go ahead. Before you introduce our lovely, amazing, and talented host, I just have to say, like, I need for you to stop forewarning me because you said this about episode four. You said, ah, I'm going to hate episode nine.

[00:03:20] Bitch, this was the best episode of the season. Maybe if you were watching it, if you were living it, I'd say this with no sarcasm. This was one of the worst days of my life. Well, we watched. We saw. I'm not going to say the worst because that's like when people are like, this is the worst day of my life. I'm like, you're on a reality show. Relax. Worst things have happened to you. But of my race life, especially, oh, this was.

[00:03:50] If I did not know you. Get it? Because Scott up, down. Yes, I get it. But if I did not know you, Brooke, like, and I'm watching this season, like, say I didn't like you up until this point. This episode would have made me root for you and Scott so hard. Like, I live for the drama. Like, I mean, it's like y'all are y'all make the best of this season. Like, and so I always say you are way too hard on yourself.

[00:04:18] But I understand I wasn't there. But listen, enough of me. Please do me the honor of introducing our guests. First time co-hosts to the podcast. [00:04:47] Of the amazing race, Marcus Tritt from Los Angeles. I am so excited to be here. And I 100% have to say right off the bat, I agree with Bryce because I watched this season. This is our third time rewatching this season. And I never hated you when I watched this season. You do make great TV. And there's a lot to talk about. A lot to talk about. Yeah. And isn't that the goal?

[00:05:12] And rewatching this season, what I will say that I appreciate more watching and a recap is that despite everything, Brooke, you will still do it. Yes. Okay. You will still do it. And that's what you need in a partner. I'm not going to lie. Yeah. And I've seen that in person. Listen, I saw her do something she did not want to do. And she yelled and she screamed the whole time, but she did it. What did I do? I don't think you want me to say it here. Oh. I'll just text you. Tell me later.

[00:05:39] But, but, but, and Bryce, I'm sure we'll cuss somebody out. I will. I would cuss you out for one thing in this episode, but we can get there when we get there. Yeah. Well, I got cussing out, but before we even get to the episode, I just want to make sure. Get rid of me. Get rid of me. I was like, wait, wait, wait. We're not doing this episode at all. [00:06:36] Listen, that means that pot is used. That means food was made. That's how a pot is supposed to look. If I go to your house and the pots look perfect, I don't want what you're cooking. Well, do you factor in an extra 20 minutes to excavate that pot afterwards? I do clean my pots. But, you know, after you cook them for a while, sometimes they do get a little scratch or whatever. [00:07:35] Do you remember when we were doing episode three and I was all, this is not that bad. And then I was like, but we're only at episode three. So now this is what I was talking about. This is the bad. So we've made it. Congratulations to us. There's a couple moments along the way we were like, is this the one she's talking about? Is this the one she's talking about? Yeah, we thought episode nine was Hanoi. No, sorry. The next one. The next one. And we were like, that's not that bad. And then we went to push play.

[00:08:03] And then we were like, oh, no, we remember. We remember. No, small human being should be forced to carry three slippery mannequins around the streets of Hanoi when every minute is rush hour. Whatever. It's fine. It's fine. We did it. Keyword three. Yes. Keyword three. Hold on. Oh, yeah. Keyword three. Yeah. I know. Read your clue. Absolutely. Absolutely. Thank God they did it. They really never did. Okay.

[00:08:31] So anyway, we have five teams left at the beginning of leg nine. We have Tara and Joey who leave at 240 in the afternoon. Matt and Redmond who are 20 minutes after that. Brooke and Scott who are like 40 minutes after that. London and Logan 20 minutes after us. And team fun bringing up the rear at 523 PM. Are you sure you guys don't want to talk about something else? No, go ahead. No, we can talk about it with or without you, babe. Okay. We got to get through it, babe. I mean, and y'all started on- No, I'm being kicked off of the podcast. Okay. Yeah. That's fine.

[00:09:00] And y'all, and all the puns intended, y'all started on a high in this episode. Yeah. And it's actually pretty symbolic. First of all. Okay. So the, the clue, the first clue says make your way to the old bridge of the Corinth Canal. Now as a rabid, amazing race fan, I knew exactly what we were going to have to do. And Scott also, I mean, you don't see canal and think, you know, whatever.

[00:09:27] Anyway, first of all, but first Joey's all Brooke and Scott have their heart. I can't believe that you turned somebody. They've, you turned two teams. So pot, kettle, black, whatever. It's fine. Team Fun is now calling themselves Team Fun Stoppable. They've rebranded. And the boys are finishing each other's sandwiches. Like they are just, they're, they're adorable. I love them. So everyone's on their way to the Corinth Canal. And it is, despite Scott's prayers, in fact, a 240 foot bungee jump.

[00:09:57] We both knew it. We're sitting in the back of the car and I'm like, Scott, it's a, it's a bungee jump. I actually felt really badly for him. And I texted him as I was watching it and he texted me back being like, I'm ready. Let's go again. I was like, would you jump again? He's like, don't tell anyone, but I would. He would. I do have a question, Brooke. Cause you know, I'm not really from the amazing race, but it seemed like a lot of teams were talking about this, this roadblock. Scott had to do it because you needed to be even at some point in time.

[00:10:27] And so I just want to put it out there for, you know, Brad Mark. Brooke always listens to the comments of Facebook. So that's like her amazing race audience. So kind of like you just, you know, the demographic. So I just want to point out to Brooke's Facebook audience that if Scott has to do this roadblock, that means Ms. Brooke Cam High has done the majority of the roadblock. I just, you know, I'm going to always hype my friend up. Thank you.

[00:10:56] That is in fact factual. We had to split by the end of the eighth leg or the beginning of the ninth leg. We had to have at least each done four. That would have been it. And I'd already done my four. We saved the last one for Scott in case it was, you know, make another ladle or some sort of like brute force strength thing. And of course this is his fourth and three of his four are heights challenges. I like heights. I got no problem with heights and I felt so badly, but Joey and Tara get there first. Joey does it.

[00:11:26] He's having fun and they have to fly to Hanoi to find their next clue. Scott and I are in the back of the car talking about the roadblock. We all know what it is. Matt gets there and says, I want to be here when Scott gets here. Everyone wanted to be there when Scott gets there. He swan dives off the thing because dude has no fear at all. And if you can see along the top, there's like a crowd gathering. So when we get there, I felt so badly. We get there and Scott's like, I can't, but to his credit, Scott flipped out for like five

[00:11:57] partway and was like, but he was like, he kept moving. He pulled a brook. He said he can't do things and then he kept moving. And there was a crowd gathering. So I'm like, you can do this. Everything's fine. Talk to me. Let's talk it out. And I'm like looking at the guys being like, are you allowed to push him? Or once he's actually jumped, we had the, I had the crowd up there being like, his name is Scott. Cheer for him. And all the people are up there going, Scott, Scott, Scott. And I wish that had been in there because they really were yelling. And I think that's what did it for him.

[00:12:25] Just like the, you can do this. Take a step. All you had to do was take a step. I mean. That's a big, that's a, that's a giant leap for some people. I know. Well, Brooke, I would say, I would say this, this time, you did a very good job of like being calm and like reassuring and letting him talk his, you're a great cheerleader. You have that in common. Like you do know how to hype your partner up.

[00:12:53] And I will also say that this specific scene was formative in our amazing race life. So much so that we literally even went into our season and was like, and I said, I'm not going to be Scott. I will not let you jump. I, I literally, we literally discussed it. And I was like, the difference between me and Scott is that I don't know if I can jump. So I was like, I'm not going to jump. And that even led to us making some pretty poor roadblock decisions because I was like, I can't do it.

[00:13:23] We cannot end with just me specifically from this. He was like, he's like, I can't, I can't, I can't. And yet we had to be, I am you. I can't. Yeah. We don't stop. I love that. So they're that long, actually, like London and Logan were 20 minutes behind us and they got there as we were leaving. So kudos to Scott because I wasn't a hundred percent sure he was really going to do it, but he did do it faster than I expected. Also side note that scream as he's jumping off the thing where he's like, that is my ringtone

[00:13:52] when he calls me or texts me. The best thing in the world. So I texted and said, I'm proud of him. He was like, thanks. I'm packed and ready to go again. I said, me too. So whatever. So y'all make great TV. No matter what anybody says y'all make great TV for this season. Really? Wasn't that the goal? Yeah. You, you learned that. Yeah. Yeah. I forgot there were cameras on me in minute six. So I, this is just who I am. So London gets, Logan gets there. He is excited.

[00:14:20] He's like giggling and laughing and having a great time. Becca gets there. She was also a bit scared, but her scream is like, Becca's always like, this is awesome. Like everything's so cool. I'm like this high pitch screen was like straight out of like a horror flick, but then she's laughing. Everyone's having fun. Scott gets back up and he's like, can I do it again? I'm like, just keep moving my dude. It's fine. So we're all headed to Vietnam on the same flight. I don't love this leg design because it all came down to the detour.

[00:14:47] Like I kind of wish that this, the bungee jump was sort of like Bryce never the water slide in season 15, where it was like, you have five minutes and then you have to step aside for the next person. Didn't matter because there was nobody waiting there. So Scott could have stayed till he went, but I kind of would have liked the fact it's like, there could have been a lead change with this because somebody would be scared to go, but that's somebody would have been my partner. So I'm glad that's not how it was. And we're on our way to Vietnam. This, however, I do have a little behind the scenes for you.

[00:15:14] So we had some hours to kill in Athens before we went to Vietnam. They cut out the entirety of this, but we all went to a travel agency to get our tickets for the Vietnam flight. Scott and I found a different flight. We found a flight that got in an hour before everybody else, but there were only enough for the two of us on that flight. And we had this big conversation. You see him, he's wearing this rainbow hat. At one point he threw that hat on the floor of the, of the travel agency. Cause I would not let him book those tickets.

[00:15:43] He's like, it's an hour. I'm like, it is a slight delay. And then we're by ourselves. It's better to be with everyone than to go off. I said, if there's room for another team, let's do it. But there wasn't. So the whole thing was cut out because we ended up taking the same flight as everybody else. I subsequently, he was not thrilled, but then I subsequently told him, you know, that flight we were going to take, it got delayed by three hours. And he's like, Oh my God, really? I don't know. I made it up. I just wanted him to be calm. I could have very much gotten in early for all I know. No idea. But we put it.

[00:16:13] Yeah. How would you know? I was like, I wrote down the flight number. I checked in the airport. I don't know. Who cares? I just wanted to make him feel better. And that's on good gameplay. Yeah. Cause honestly, Scott and I, more me than him this episode, were just a mess. And, but like, once we got to something and once we put the mess behind us, we put the mess behind us. Like you don't hear us talking about, you know, this express pass thing that he was messing with me with after the fact or the ladle after the fact.

[00:16:42] And you won't hear us talking about the mannequins again after the fact. Like once we get it out, it's out and it's done. And so that's one thing I really appreciate. We're not grudge holders toward each other, but in the moment, some might say it's not healthy to air your frustration like that. What worked? Everything you said, we'll circle back. Cause I think, I think everything you said was really important.

[00:17:10] It's a really, you said a lot of very important things. And I think there's a specific moment in this episode where that actually comes into play. I don't remember anything. I just watched the episode an hour ago. The other thing is, since we had all this time to kill two of the teams went to the airport, but the other three teams, we all went to this really amazing. We found this Greek restaurant on the, cause we had hours to kill. And I was, I, you know, you don't ask, you can't get, if you don't ask. So I went to the guys and I was like, hi, we don't have a lot of money, but we're hungry.

[00:17:40] You want to like, we can buy as much as we can buy. So we bought some food and we all shared it with the camera crew and everything. And then they brought us out this dessert for everybody, which was so nice because we didn't have any more money to pay for it. And so yay, Greece, Athens, people were so, so nice. And it was like a cool, like bonding moment for some of the teams. Won't say he wasn't there. Cause I was about to, I was about to ask who was at this dinner? I would guess London and Logan.

[00:18:09] It was, it was team fun and us. And now it's, I think with London and Logan, cause I think Matt and Redmond, they might have been there and left for the airport earlier. We were like, we've got time. I think Taryn. I'm going to say I would happily be at that dinner. Yeah. Yeah. Is Logan is hot in person? Logan is handsome. Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Great. And then we also love team fun, Becca and Floyd. We love team fun. Oh my gosh. Everyone of our parents watching for sure. Yeah.

[00:18:39] I'm so sad that they didn't win. Okay. So anyway, we get to Illinois. Are you? Bryce gets so mad at me cause we're not supposed to say how it turned out. We get to Illinois and it is hot. This is like end of, this is like right now. I think when we're taping this, we're close. Like 10 years ago to this day, we were either in Greece. I can look it up or here, which is kind of cool. It is very hot. You have to find this statue again, filled on the race course, which Bryce always likes and we see them.

[00:19:09] I love them. And I like this because it's not just a clue box. It's figure out where your clue is. It just does search for your clue. So team fun finds a whole bunch of people waving fans. And a few of those people have a little yellow stick on their fan. And that's how they got their clue. They tell us, look for the guy with the yellow stick. We pay it forward and tell London and Logan. It's not a person. Info, not too much info, which I feel like Bryce is probably okay with. Now he's mad. I see his face. What?

[00:19:37] I mean, I love London and Logan, but again, I feel like, and I'm biased. Obviously, I'm team Brooke and Scott, but I feel like these last couple of episodes, you know, you and Scott are getting painted as these like villainous people, but you are continuously helping people. And I love Logan and London, but I feel like you helping them a little bit too much. And especially after last week when they didn't help y'all and they lied to y'all.

[00:20:04] So I feel like you, you're, you're being too nice to them. Wait, but did you know that they lied to you that last episode? Um, I remember they do show it and they're like, do you think they lied to us? And Scott's like, yeah. But like, again, once it's over, as far as I'm concerned, it's over. Like they, we were working with them. And so, but I just said, it's on a person. Like, okay, search every person. It's not like look for the yellow stick and that's the person who'll give it to you. And if you don't say anything, they're right in front of your face. And if you're like, I don't know, but you're running out of there. They're like those.

[00:20:34] And to, and to what Bryce said, you guys are getting painted as someone who receives a lot of help and gives no help. And to be honest, like that's not usually how the race works. All the teams usually give and take. And there was, I mean, there was one team on our season who received all the help and they were always like, you'll figure it out. You'll figure it out. Uh, we won't say who, but you know, that happens, but I don't think you guys were that team. And I also really liked this moment because I said, like you, it's kind of subtle and it was fun to figure out where the clue was.

[00:21:04] So I liked this a lot. I did too. Also, now that I'm thinking about it, we, we did not get a lot of help. We got help with one test, one roadblock. I got a lot of help with one thing. It's like, but we didn't get like minimal help with a lot of things. We got a lot of help with one thing. Am I wrong? Is there things I'm forgetting? I don't know. How much did you get help at the mask? None. Oh, great. So they just showed you walking around asking questions. Yeah. No, I didn't get help at all. I mean, that was me.

[00:21:34] I walked in. I ran into every challenge being like, what's going on? What's going on? Yeah, of course. But I also think that that's kind of smart. It wasn't like you were going next to Liz being like, what color do you do? Like if you're next to Liz. Yeah. Yeah, sometimes on the race, you're too smart for your own good. Sometimes on the race, you're too smart. Sometimes you need to like take a step back and just go back to the beginning and pretend like you don't know anything. Right.

[00:22:02] And there's moments who are like working together or helping like doesn't really affect that much. Like y'all, you know, when it's going to help. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So this doesn't feel like one that was like too, too, too much. If you help a little. Right. It would be like, if I didn't say anything, then they think that we're like trying to hurt them. And if I just said this, it's not enough help that it's going to make a huge difference. They're going to find it any minute anyway. And at least this way, we are still, you know, good graces because who knows what's going to be next?

[00:22:31] You know, I mean, I know. Okay. So the boys find it, Tara and Joey find it. And then we are all off to this temple where you have to get your detour. So everyone finds a temple. Nobody has a problem with this, but the detour is bamboo climb. And only that there's no bamboo climb or window design. And in bamboo climb, you have to get to a ladder, climb up, climb up and grab that ladder,

[00:23:01] go find an apartment building, go up the stairway with this huge ladder, get a birdcage off the roof, bring back the ladder, put a bird in the cage, get your clue. But there's only three ladders. And in window design, you have to make a window display. Easy peasy, no problem, whatever. Except you have to pick up three mannequins, carry them like far. Like this was not close. This was not, we went the wrong way and we had to double back.

[00:23:28] Like this was also, I think this was another, like not even detour because yeah, you could have gotten stuck with the ladder, but these mannequins were, it's not even so much. They were heavy because they were heavy. They probably weighed the little one probably weighed like 15 pounds like that, but like together I was probably carrying 30 pounds of stuff and my backpack. The thing was they were bulky and they were slippery because we were so sweaty, like just dripping.

[00:23:55] And I'm not a particularly sweaty person, but like here it was just like, it was a lot. So even if you, I mean, I thought about putting on my gloves again, like, but even if you had gloves, like you couldn't get a grip except I think I carried the little boy, but like his never. Yeah. It's a wedge. You know, you got to get what you got to get. So everybody goes to the left. Quick question.

[00:24:21] Has everyone or anyone seen the movie Birdcage? Yes. With Robin Williams? Yes. Nathan Lane. Yeah. I haven't. I know. I'm bad. I know. I know. I know. It's a mark on my gayness. Okay. Sorry. I just thought of it when you said Birdcage. I was like, oh, that's such a classic. I thought you had like something to talk. Yeah. I mean, no, it just popped into my head. Sorry. It's a great movie. Watch it later. Okay. So I have a question for you, Brooke.

[00:24:48] When, when did this, when did this legs like for you start boiling you, boiling your blood, making you sweat? I'll tell you. Right now. No, we were actually fine. We were, we were getting, I will tell you once Scott, like even on the way to the roadblock, I Scott was flipping out because I was like, it's, they, they did this before. Like it's a bungee jump. Like they didn't show us talking about saying that, but like, we knew what we were going to.

[00:25:14] So it was just trying to like, you can do it, stay calm, whatever. And then he did it. And he was on such a high from doing it that like the rest of the day and into Vietnam was like, it was good. And you'll see us in the back of the taxi in Vietnam being like, oh my God, like everyone's scooting around. And I love it. Like we were having a good time and then we weren't because we got to the ladders. Again, I don't think I am that I am loud, but I, I maintain that production term, my microphone

[00:25:43] up 30% over everybody else. I'm convinced of it, but we are running, running. And I was actually running to the ladders and Matt and Redmond are behind us for the first time maybe ever. And I'm like, Scott, it's this way. And so I'm, he's convinced that I told them which way to go, but they were going to find it. And so we get the ladders. Team fun already has one. Matt and Redmond grab one. The last one is up top and London and Logan come lolloping around and they see it and they get it.

[00:26:13] Oh, that's it? That's the beginning of it? Okay. That moment right there is the beginning of the end because you can see, I watched it and you can see my ladder start to tilt back a little bit as I'm trying to climb it because I'm carrying 27 odd pounds on my back and they are, Becca says it like, they're kind of rickety. Like they're not, you know, held up by anything other than, you know, you're pushing against them. So I'm falling backwards. And, and I was going to say we, but mostly me don't handle it well. Like it's just admitted.

[00:26:42] It all starts to go bad. I'm not handling it well. So what happens next is we fast forward 20 minutes to the end of the episode and we're on the mat. Girl, I, I, I, I actually, we, we, we, we, we rewound. And when I say that Brett and I watch this ladder fiasco scene by scene, like, like, like, what is it called? Like just frame by frame by frame so that we could get a good understanding. And this is what we're going to say. Okay.

[00:27:12] This will, I speak for both of us. Cause I always do. Whether, whether you do or you don't, you do. Okay. There's a time in the race when it doesn't matter how friendly you are with other teams, you have to play for yourself. And this is this moment. And that's why I am not going to fault Brooke or Scott for this maneuver. It didn't work out, but I will, even if it did work, I'm not going to fault y'all for it.

[00:27:42] I will cuss you out for something else later in regards to this. But in this moment, I think this was fair game. I think this was completely fair game. I'm with you. If anything, a slight cuss out. I'm going to cuss Scott out a little bit because in this moment when they got to the ladders and he immediately didn't see. Don't worry, Scott. He's going to cuss me out. Well, don't worry. Scott already know.

[00:28:07] And when I see Scott, I'm going to cuss Scott out because again, I think Scott got hot headed like, ah, and flustered. And when Team Lolo walked up because they were farther away, they could see that the ladder was up there. And so I'm cussing Scott out a little bit because I feel like he gave up a little too quick and got frustrated. Now, where I forgive Scott is Scott immediately. And while people say Brooke and Scott don't work well together.

[00:28:37] But when Scott was like, Brooke, go up there and get it. Like you see Brooke not question anything. She gets on the ladder. And like, I love that. And so Team Lolo. Now I got a little cuss out for Team Logan in London. Talk about where was that? Girl, it was the race. Okay. And Brooke and Scott have helped you time and time again. And so, and mind you, I love you, London. But don't act surprised.

[00:29:05] Girl, when we asked you where the clue box was, you kept running. And so now I'm running up the ladder. I didn't. Put that on. No, keep those on for a second. No, we agree. And we were looking at this too because we were laughing. Yeah. Because the moment right before, same situation happened between Redman and Scott. Same situation. And they move over here and like, Brooke just wasn't up there fast enough to get it. And she was.

[00:29:33] She would have swooped it and we'd be like, great, good for you. You did it. Like, right. It's fine. And as a quick, and as a quick aside, when you said that Scott and Brooke don't work well together. And you said, like you said, they do. We were talking about how like, this is why this season is so interesting. Because I was not interested in this season at all. And then I watched it and I was like, well, this actually ends up being one of my favorite seasons of The Amazing Race.

[00:29:56] Because when you have two strangers, you have to watch them in real time go through what we've gone through in private for 10 years. We have all had a Brooke day. It's just not been televised and recorded for everyone to see. We've got 23 of them in a row. A hundred, yeah. Yeah, exactly. And we have blamed each other nonstop for years. And then by the time we got on the race, we learned to be like, you know, that's not helpful in this situation.

[00:30:22] But if I was with a stranger, I for sure would be like, you cost me a million dollars. You need to get your act together. I would be blaming them in real time. Where are you on right now? I just got mad. I was just thinking about having to depend on a stranger. I would be so bad. I'm sorry. I'm going to relax. I mean, I'm not going to piggyback though. This is the fun part about this. I know people like, you know, the normal format where it's, you know, established relationships coming in. But having two strangers is so fun because they still come in with baggage.

[00:30:51] They still come in with like having to work about interpersonal relationships and their own crap with their own. You know, they're still bringing all that in and you get to see it in real time. And I think that's like, that's why this season is so late. Did you guys watch this season for the first time before or after we met? Before, babe. Oh, okay. Before. I don't know. Girl. I feel like people who know me have a very different reaction than, you know, like general public because. Oh, because it's funny.

[00:31:20] Like after we spent any time with you, I'm like, oh, this is literally just Brooke. She thinks out loud. Everything is a level 1130 to 300. And that's fine. And she really does navigate around like that. Like if you've ever tried to get through Times Square with her to get to a theater, you know, this is how Brooke moves. Yeah. And like I said, I watched her do something. I'm like, get out of my way. Yeah. Which is hilarious in other countries.

[00:31:50] I am the slow person, but it's fine. Yeah. And I watched her do something she didn't want to do in the privacy of her own home where the stakes were very low. And it was like an Amazing Race episode live. Got it. Now I know. I should have paid. I should have paid for it. You should have paid for it. Okay. So. Side note. I found out the mat because you see we stop and we read the clue again. And I'm like, can we wait for a ladder? Like Team Fun probably got here a little while ago because sometimes when there's a limited number of spots, you can wait.

[00:32:20] And when another team finishes, like you can take their property. Turns out we could have waited for a ladder. But I think, honestly, better to you that we didn't. So. Yes. Better detour for you guys. And then to make a good point because I know we're going to move on to the other detour. I wanted your opinion because I know as racers, one of our thought processes when picking detours was if there's a detour with a beginning and an end, beginning, middle and end, to go to that detour. Because there's not room for interpretation. Right.

[00:32:49] There's not room for one little. And that's what it felt like when I heard the two clues. I felt like ladder is beginning, middle, end. And mannequin feels like there's some room for error, which is why I would not want to choose it. But when you felt like there was room for error, it was like, is the judge going to think it's good enough? Not like. Room for error. You forgot a mannequin completely. Right. And exactly. It was the opposite of what actually happened. Exactly. There it is. Okay. But I love the mechanics of this, though. Right.

[00:33:19] Where it's like, obviously, more people will want to do the ladder. And I love that it's limited because I feel like the people that created it, they wanted that tunnel block up the steps. And we've seen in previous seasons, I think like a Todd and Ashley season, like where they had the mattresses. And like, yes, up and down where they had to hurry them and they were in there. You had to wait. And so like, I was like, it might have been a blessing that you guys had to go for the mannequin.

[00:33:49] So I love the mechanics of this whole episode. I see it that way too. Yeah. Completely. Mm-hmm. Biggest blessing I ever had. So when we did this. Anyway, time out. I'm not done, bro. I need to go back to you and Scott right here. Well, y'all are getting it on. Oh, yes. This is the part that I wanted to bring back too. You go ahead. Because this is just what I have to say. I love the fact that like, yeah, you and Scott are having it out. And like, you know, in some episodes. That's a good frame.

[00:34:19] Thank you so much for squeezing it out. It seems like, okay, Brooke is doing a lot. You know, then the next episode, it's like, oh, Scott screaming a lot. What I loved about this argument that started at the ladders is that it shows that you guys were equally yoked. No. Because when I say, when you was giving it to him, he would process it and then give it right back. And then you will be like, oh, no, no, no, bitch. I'm not done.

[00:34:48] Like, I loved. Like, you know, there's nothing better. Like, for me, I'm a, I live in a place of like, I love arguing. Bitch, call me so we can argue. I like me and my friend Wendell. Bitch, we argue all the time. You know, when I have my male companion over, you know, we, I like, like, I feel like arguing sometimes for me, it's like a sport. Like, it's like low key, my love language. And so like, I hate when I argue with somebody and they just shut up.

[00:35:17] Or I hate when like, I'm arguing with somebody and they eat me up and I just have to shut up. And I'm like, oh. I hate getting eaten up because it's a sport for me too. I'm like, I wish someone had something to discuss today because I need to. Yeah. And that's why Josiah and I are so close because we, and it's real boring when we agree on anything because we're like, okay, well, that was fun. But 100%, I love when Scott was like, all right, get it out. Let's go. Yeah. That was my favorite. And that's healthy. He was like, we cannot keep this going. Get it out now.

[00:35:47] And that's why when Tara ran by and Brooke said, whatever, good luck. Like, what's wrong? I'm, I don't know. Like I'm losing my, I don't even know what I said. And it's not my responsibility to tell you that there's no ladders there. What I see is I see a time advantage. First of all, how do I even know you're running to the ladders? I don't even know where you're going. You didn't ask me where the ladders are. And I said, I don't know. You didn't say what's wrong. That's what you said. So this is a time advantage. Seeing you run is a time advantage for me because I know you're not running towards where I'm going.

[00:36:17] And I thought it was kind of condescending because I kind of felt like it was them kind of being like, what's wrong as they're running past you? Like, you know, you and Scott are always just like in this state of like constant confusion and destruction. So, I don't know. Side note, I too love a good argument. I mean, I made it into a living. Like, so that's fine. That's what I do for a living. That's fair. So, woo. All right. Tara and Joey are looking for the ladder. And apparently we try to commit the cardinal sin of not telling them where to go, even though they don't ask us where are the ladders.

[00:36:47] So, team fun is in the apartment building. The boys are fine in the apartment building. London and Logan find it. There's 5,000 friends references about pivot this and pivot that. It's fine. But all three of them seem to have a fairly easy time because it's easier. Joey and Taylor. Go ahead. I mean, I don't know. Lauren and Logan had that thing for us. That was hilarious. The way I would have been squeezing up on London. Take your backpack off, London. She left her backpack on. Like, that's just sweet. Yeah, excuse me.

[00:37:14] Oh, I think if we hold each other, it'll be easier. Yeah. Oh, wait. No, you go up. I need to be below. Yeah. London wasn't doing it right. Team fun. That was the moment, too, where I saw Becca and Floyd navigating that communication like it was nothing. There was that one moment all of forever when Becca wanted to punch him in the face on the passport. But besides that, Becca and Floyd know I stan them.

[00:37:43] But that communication with that ladder, I was like, that would never be Brett and I trying to get something up the stairs at our house. They were really good. Oh, at our house. Oh, at our house. On the race, yeah. We're on our best behavior on the race. Becca said, you got two hands on that. But what I loved about the ladder situation was I couldn't tell if it was like production people, but there would be certain times when they would be cutting to the ladder and you see somebody crawling, running by in the doorway. And I was like, is that production? Or is that somebody that lives in the building?

[00:38:13] People who live there. Yeah. It was like tenants of the building. I was living for it. Sorry. So, okay. So we decide not to wait for the ladder and we very calmly and coolly without issue decide to go to the mannequins. No problem. Yeah. And we find the mannequin shop. After Tara and Joey have decided that they're mad at us. I don't know why, but we find the mannequin shop. And thankfully, this is just shout out to my mother. Hi, mom. Thank you to my mother. Um, before I was leaving, I left for my parents' house.

[00:38:42] And before I left, I was like, is there anything else I need? Anything else I need? She's like, do you have a scarf? And I'm like, interesting. Not like a scarf, scarf, but like a, and I did have one of those that my Nana knit for me, which was so cute. But like, uh, I'm like, oh great. Because I thinking, oh, I can use that if I need to carry stuff. Now it comes into use. So I whip out my very light. I figure if there's sand blowing, it's good to block your face. Or if you need to carry a whole bunch of random mannequin parts, because we knew that was going to happen.

[00:39:12] And because of my rabid fandom and my, what's the word? Involved mother. We find a scarf and throw it in my bag. And here's where it comes to use. So we, cause the, the, the clue said, if your mannequin breaks, you have to go get another one. And I would be damned if I'm going backwards to get another one and then going forwards again. That's ridiculous. So we found a mannequin place. We get our three mannequins. They are, they're not like put together.

[00:39:41] Well, they fell apart like a bunch of times. And I was like, absolutely not. We need a sack. So we put the parts in the scarf. Tara and Joey find the mannequin place and take the one male and the one female that you're supposed to have and run the streets with their mannequins. So let's, let's dissect this because. When they were reading it and Tara was like, no, just a male and a female. And I'm like, oh, okay.

[00:40:06] Well, y'all got a female and a pre pubescent child. Where, where's the man? I don't know a lot about the amazing race. And I don't know a lot about things. I don't know a lot about algebra, but I know a male physique. Like when I split one, okay. Yes. Blindfolded. Okay. That's never happened.

[00:40:35] But I'm just saying, like, I just was like, and when you guys always say like race blinders are real. Like I was literally at this point, like that's a kid. That's not a man. But also didn't he ask her? Didn't he say, hey, don't, do we need this guy or whatever? And she was like, no, we just need the two. And I was like. We. Okay. And. Yeah. Yeah. And that's. And that's the moment that I feel like I saw on the mat. Right.

[00:41:05] When people were real upset. Well, but here's the thing. Like. They need it. Shoot. Shoot. What was I going to say? Wait. Race blinders. Uh huh. You need them. Oh, this is what I was going to say. The two of them were running through the streets to get to the window display. And Joey's like, these are falling apart. This is not easy to do. They're having problems with two. We have a whole extra big one with us.

[00:41:28] So maybe people should back off from being hard on us because it was apparently difficult just to carry the lady and the boy. Yeah, absolutely. Oh, and this and this, this, this, this is the one thing. And Brooke, Brooke already knows I love her. This is the one thing that I will say is really detrimental to when you're running the race is yelling every five minutes.

[00:41:55] We should be on a ladder while we are carrying the mannequins because we're not on a ladder. We're not getting on a ladder. We're not going back to the ladders. You got to move on. You got to figure out. You got to focus on these mannequins. The next note I have just says, I was a lot. Like, I mean, I understand. Oh, a hundred percent. A hundred percent. But I was. We got to both. I guess. I just want to give praise where praise is due, right? Like, I just said I love a good cuss out.

[00:42:22] And when they are, when they were roaming through the streets, it's falling apart. Brooke is having a freak out. And Scott is like, well, what do you need? And when Brooke said, I need a ladder. I said. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. It was so good. I don't hear about these damn ladders. Right. Four more times. But that was good. That like, you ate that one down. Yeah. I said, oh.

[00:42:50] I have a related question for you, Bryce. You know how we're on the screen here and there's like a background to it. Did you pick this shot on purpose so that the only things visible in the background are the special parts of the mannequin? Why? Why? Whatever do you mean? My little face is peeking out in the middle. I know it's saying. And I am from deep in the South and I was raised in the church. I would never in my good day.

[00:43:21] And is that a spark? I like it. What did you say? I also want you to be clear. Those aren't adolescents. Those are adults. Mm-hmm. Adults. Yes, exactly. Thank you very much. At this point, Brooke is being a lot. Scott is also like, but you know what? It might have been the healthiest thing we could have done because the second that we find where we're going, you will not hear about it again. We like. Oh, yeah. You are. Yeah. And you're right.

[00:43:50] When you do move on, you do move on. Yeah. But not until then. If I'm going to have an argument with somebody, once it's done, it's done. Because what's the point? Like, get it all out. Say what you need to say. Move on. I don't want to hear about things that happened five years ago. If we've moved on, we've moved on. If we have moved on, get it out. And then we can move on. So Joey's dropping his lady on the floor. Thankfully for them, it doesn't break. Not luckily for them. They have missed a person. And Becca and Floyd have finished and gotten their cage.

[00:44:18] The boys have up and down and gotten their cage. And London and Logan, after a little bit of issue with maneuvering, I think she takes off her backpack. And they have also gotten their cage. Also? I carry my backpack this whole leg. I'm just saying. I didn't notice that. I'm very proud of you. Yeah, actually. I think there was like an episode ago where, nevermind, be good. Where Brett was like, if I was Scott, I'd be like, bro, let's downsize.

[00:44:46] You've got to throw some things out if I'm going to carry your backpack every year. I didn't have that much stuff, honestly. And I would never have taken two backpacks if I was going with someone I knew. Like, I always would have gone with one. We find about that all the time. I didn't do that because I didn't know who I was racing with. But if and when we ever get to go back. I have one more thing. Where was the New Yorker navigating those streets? Talk about it. She was under 57 pounds of plastic mannequins. She was sweaty and slippery.

[00:45:16] Has she ever taken her groceries home on the streets of New York? Yeah, that's how I carry my groceries, my dude. Come on. Perfect. That's what I thought. That's what I thought. So where was she? Where was she? She was back in some other country where, you know, English was the prime language. And she knew, had some idea. It was filled with tourists so they could tell her where she was going. Because this was not it for me. It was. Because those streets are crazy. Yeah, they're crazy. Crazy. Matt almost got decapitated.

[00:45:46] Who cares? Vietnam, Bali. Those streets are crazy. And New York is crazy. And then you get out into the country and you're like, oh, damn. New York is so organized. Yeah, I know. Yeah. But I also love how you listen, though, Brooke. I love how you listen and you yell when, like, it's falling apart. And Scott's like, let's try this. Put your arm out. You're like, it's not going to work. I can't carry it. He puts it on. You're like, it's not working. It's not going to work. And then you start running.

[00:46:13] And, like, you continue to run throughout the lake with the way that Scott told you to do it. Like, again, it's like, say what you want. And I'm going to keep saying this all episode. Say what you want about Scott and Brooke. But they make the season. Like, this, again, episode nine, my favorite season thus far. And it is because of Scott and Brooke. Whether agree with them, don't agree with them. Like, you guys are just amazing to watch. And I love it. And that's the hard thing. I mean, so quick. But that's the thing about reality TV. And I have to check myself as well.

[00:46:42] Because I find myself having real strong feelings about certain people on reality television. And I'm like, oh, but that's what's supposed to happen. So regardless of how I feel about them, they are making this experience for me. And like I said, like you said, she said this is not going to work. And it did work. But she still did it. She still did it. And that's what we love about Brooke. God. Okay. I changed my mind. Petition to have Mark and Brooke back every time. Meanwhile, I'm yelling at Scott. I'm yelling at stop signs. I'm yelling at the mannequins. I'm telling the mannequins to shut up.

[00:47:12] I don't know what's going on. Tara and Joey have their two mannequins. No. I just read Brooke and Scott are yelling. Mostly Brooke is yelling. Becca and Floyd, the boys, London and Logan are on their way to the pit stop. But really the first two teams because it's a foot race. Again, to Thonya, Thong, yeah, National Park or whatever it is. And to find Phil. The team fun is so positive. The boys are excited. Team fun gets their first fight. I think it's like two minutes. Like it's pretty close. I was so excited for them.

[00:47:41] I honestly, they're just sunshine in a bottle. Like they are just so excited. And they went and shipped to the Galapagos Islands. Becca took it. And then Matt and Redmond show up a minute later for their sweaty hugs. And while this is all happening, Tara and Joey have now realized they have not read their clue properly. And they need their third mannequin. Now, it's Tara's credit. She's all, it's my fault. I didn't read the clue. But also they're like, and Brooke. And I'm like, what? I didn't talk to you guys.

[00:48:11] But that's fine. This was our moment. The second, I remember Scott running out for a second. And he's like, what's wrong? What's wrong? And Tara's like, how many mannequins do you have? And Scott was like, whatever. And came back. The second we realized that they didn't have what they were supposed to have. It was like, being in a video game and getting a power boost. It was just like, holy crap. It's not over. Keep going. Like a power boost. Like more energy. Just like a bonus.

[00:48:39] Tell me you old. Because girl, that gives me Sega Genesis and Atari. Okay. But continue. Sorry. I just, I've never heard of that. The fact that you knew what Atari and Sega Genesis are. So, I think in watching it today, the best part of the episode is I'm having a meltdown in the street and you see this Vietnamese gentleman standing behind you taking a video. No, he's taking a video of me having a meltdown in the middle of the street.

[00:50:08] The guy who helped me was so nice. And we actually had like a three-minute conversation where I was like, thank you, but they didn't show that part. They just showed the part where I was like, here, put it here. I wasn't that mean to people. I was very nice to people. But at this point, London and Logan are taking their calming breath as they're heading to the pit stop. Everybody's calm. So, they're basically acting exactly like Scott and I are acting at the exact same moment in a totally different place. Except that I'm screaming like an asshole. And Tara and Joey are making fun of me because that's what they did for the rest of it. They can't trust her.

[00:50:38] She, first of all, what? Yeah, the second he saw you on that airplane in LA, he knew you was devious. I was like, bitch, what? But this is what I love about The Amazing Race, though, right? Where it's like your emotions as a viewer can switch from hot to cold, right? Because I'm mad at them for them being mad at you. Now, even though I'm yelling at y'all in the street, now I'm happy for y'all that you

[00:51:06] guys are finishing your roadblock. But then at the same token with Tara and Joey, when they're running back like the human in me and Tara's like, you know, we can still beat them. You know, we can still beat them. Like, then you start to root for them. Like, oh my God, can they do it? Like, I just love the emotions, though, that like The Amazing Race and the editing takes you through because I'm like, oh my God, like this episode is so riveting.

[00:51:32] I get surprised to myself when I'm watching and I'm like, wait, why do I want them to win? Wait, why am I so mad at them all of a sudden? Wait, and you do go on this roller coaster and that's what makes, and honestly, sometimes I'm like, these one-hour episodes really nail that. It fits a whole lot more into a smaller amount. Here's my question, though. You get to the window. You have two mannequins. There's like three spots and they show you a picture of what the final product's supposed to look like and there's not a male mannequin sitting there.

[00:52:01] How do you not go back to the clue in that moment? What's this empty spot in the middle for? This is what I don't get because they, and I guess they would have had to do it anyway, but they did the rest of it and they're like, check. And the woman's like, check, no? And she's like, what? You have a gaping hole in the middle of your window display. Look at the picture. And great, great observation.

[00:52:28] And I remember when Josiah and Alyssa and us, and we were not in fourth and fifth at the time, which if we knew that we would have been helping each other. But when we were both at that store challenge, which I think had its own business going on, but we, we had race blinders on. We were like looking at it, looking at ours, looking at it, looking at ours. And you just can't see. It's just so obvious. And because you're stressed about being last and you start seeing things in a way that you

[00:52:58] think that you're smarter than, and you are. Wait, what is yours? Because I want to agree with you, but like when they had to fall. I'm saying ours was a reasonable version of that. And this is when they were going through that, but it was not warranted. Yeah. It just was when she said no. And like, I'm sure it was the editing, but it made it look like they were looking at the photo in the window for three minutes. Like what, what, what did we, what did we miss?

[00:53:28] What did we miss? And it's like, Oh my God. And, and Brett was over here when y'all did your check and he was over here being like, uh, you know, amazing race, forensic scientist and had us going frame by frame by frame because Tara and Joey, their mannequin had like a scarf hanging off of it. And then the shadow on our television made it look like yours had a scarf, but you had your scarf in your hand and we were going back and forth.

[00:53:55] And I was like, wait, that's her scarf. We saw them use it. And we were like, okay, they did. They did earn the million dollars. Okay. Let's keep going. This, I mean, yeah, we, we locked London and Logan have gotten to the pit stop. We lock in Tara and Joey think they can still beat us. We got it on our first check because it wasn't difficult once you were there, as long as you brought off. So we get the cab and then Scott's like, I'm so sad. They only had two mannequins. And I'm like, what are you talking about? Real. They only had two mannequins. What are you doing?

[00:54:25] And then I'm like, we may kick them out today because there was a lot of talk like behind scenes of like, who was like very close and who wanted to go to the end together and sort of fight it out. So London, Logan, like I said, checked in. Our cab took us to the wrong park. Traffic was so real. Anyone who's ever been in a taxi cab with me during rush hour or really anytime when I need to get somewhere, I get, I want to drive the cab. Like I am a fast driver. Streets are like Tetris. You should be able to figure out where you're going. I feel very strongly about this.

[00:54:53] I hate having my game in the hands of random third party person, but Tara and Joey had this magical powers. Liz and Mike had it too when they weren't driving of getting somewhere before everybody else. Like there was some other way to get there and they took it or they teleported. I don't know. They were always getting to places fast. So we're not moving. I'm flipping out. We go to the wrong park and thankfully there is a family in a taxi cab right behind us. And I'm like, get out.

[00:55:19] So Scott and I get out and we go to that car and that taxi driver spoke English. And we were like, can you please tell our guy where to go? And so he did. And then we got to the right thing. But at that point we wasted like 15 minutes. I was like, we might be going home so that when we saw Tara, when we saw Phil and we got there and you can sort of tell, like we all, cause, cause well, here's the thing at this one, all of the other teams were like right off like the shop.

[00:55:48] And so we saw team fun, London and Logan and Matt and Redman there watching to see who came in next. And I think it was, it might've been all of them, but definitely I remember seeing Matt and I remember seeing London being like, and so we're like, okay. So we got there and that's why Scott's like, we're fourth. And I'm like, I hope they're not lying to us. We're fourth. I don't know. And so we get it. And then Tara and Joey come in. I mean, it's minutes. It's not long. It's maybe, maybe five minutes. Like it's pretty close. Yeah. You could tell. I was like, damn. Yeah.

[00:56:19] And Joey legitimately like fell down. This was not like world cup soccer flop. Like he was hot. It was dizzy. And he was falling and they stopped for a minute for him to get water and medical came in and just like made sure everything was okay. But when this, I don't, I will never understand this. Like as a human, when you're saying to someone, are you okay? And the response is like, now you care? Like, yeah. What do you mean? Like one thing is a game. Another thing is your health.

[00:56:47] I'm glad they left it in because honestly, it was Scott who was like, sorry, not sorry. It's a game for a million dollars. Like whatever, but we still care if you're okay. And they just, they weren't having it. They were not. And you can see on the side that we're clapping when Phil says the non-elimination leg, because you know, sportsmanship and such. But in my head, I'm like, crap, there's still five of us. Oh yeah. No, I know.

[00:57:12] I know specifically that there were still five of us and there was an elevation and there was no speedboat, but we don't talk about that thing. So yeah, I know. I know how that feels. Don't be mad at me. I had nothing to do with you going home. Oh, I'm not mad at you at all. I'm just saying, I'm saying I relate to you. But it is a non-elimination leg and they will have a speed bump in the next leg. And I will say for the, I know Bryce doesn't watch the coming attractions or even on preview.

[00:57:40] So next week we stay in Vietnam, but it is a whole different animal because it's rural Vietnam. I give birth to twins and someone reaches their breaking point. Yes. It's a great episode. Bryce is going to cry at the next one. And this is the first time where you guys stayed in the same place and did two, right? The two, like you did Vietnam day one, Vietnam day two. It was the first time you were. Italy was Milan on day one and Venice on day two. Oh, I feel the same. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:58:09] Because y'all be all over the world. We're all over. We're like, dang. Yeah. Right. It's a great group. Season 34 could never. And didn't. But wait a minute. I'm not, I want to talk a little bit more about the Matt situation or the actual Matt because what are you mad at, Tara? Like, again, like Joey just almost died. I just want to just take a little more second.

[00:58:35] Cause again, like it was like, you ever see those TikToks where it's like, in this moment, like I just kind of knew all I needed to know in that moment. Cause it's like, why are you coming at Brooke? And again, I just loved y'all confessionals of like y'all saying like, like, I think you even said Brooke, like, okay, if we're talking about racing and actually caring about you being a human and if you're okay, like those are two different things. And to be honest, I was asking about Joey and not you, but I know, I mean, that's a different story.

[00:59:05] Um, but I also was a little pissed. Like how many non eliminations are we going to have? This is like the seventh one this season. Like, and there's, did you, which season is it Brooke? There's a season where one team gets every single non elimination. It's like all three of us. It wasn't, it wasn't Nat and Kat. It was, it was, was it the ice cream scientists? No, no, it was, it was, there's a season.

[00:59:34] Two of the three non eliminations were Mike and Liz in our season. Oh, there was, there was a season where it was, I think it was a female, female team, but they got all three non eliminations. And I was like, well, what do you do? That's how they're going. Aruna Natalia. Is it Aruna Natalia? They had nine. I'll have to look it up, but yeah, I'll have to look it up. But yeah, I mean, there's like, I feel like there've been seasons where there's three non eliminations, which is a lot. But I mean, there used to be two non eliminations on a keep racing or a mega leg or whatever you want to call it. And that's what we had.

[01:00:04] And one team got two, the benefit of two of them. And Tara and Joey got the benefit of the one here. I am really glad, like I said, they kept it in. I'm glad that Scott and I sort of like rallied about it because it was like, he was going to fall over. I didn't hear Tara go, Tara go, Joey, are you okay? But I'm sure she did, but I don't remember it in that moment. But like, I get it. I would have been pissed if we were, they didn't know they were staying at that point. Would have been pissed if I thought I was going home then too.

[01:00:31] I mean, but like you said, sportsmanship is a hell of a thing, right? Yeah. Well, and that's why I said, I'm not a psychologist, but in that moment where I was like, are you mad at Brooke or are you mad at yourself for not reading the clue? Because y'all had a real good chance of beating them, of beating you guys. And honestly, all of this for the non elimination. So it would have washed out anyways. But I was like, I mean, I don't know if we're mad at Brooke or mad at ourselves because people

[01:00:59] do a lot when they refuse to like acknowledge, you know, okay, I'm mad at me. I mean, it's a lot easier to be mad at Brooke. Exactly. So whatever, it's fine. I just also feel like, and again, maybe I'm being biased, but Mark and Brett, y'all can tell me, but I also feel like from watching this season and seeing how some of the other teams talk about Brooke and Scott, like when they get mad, when they pass them, because it's like, they look at Brooke and Scott, like, oh, they're like the MS team and they're the team that we could beat.

[01:01:28] But it's like when the team that you could beat doesn't help you, then you get mad. But why do you even care if it's a team you can allegedly beat? And so like, I don't know. It's just very interesting to watch. Yeah. I think that Brooke and I think Brooke and Scott specifically do have a chaotic nature about them, but it doesn't make them a bad team. So I feel like when you're racing against people who, you know, are as dynamic as Brooke and

[01:01:57] Scott, then it's easy to be like, oh, they're an easy target. And then it gets frustrating when they're still in and they're doing well. And you're like, well, well, they're so dynamic and chaotic. Like they should be easy to be beat. So I feel like there's a lot of like, like, like layers of complex layers. Like there's teams on our season where we're like, well, Jesus Christ, they keep just stumbling right onto the next leg. Why can't I beat them? And they should be gone. So I feel like they're just an easy target based on the nature of their relationship.

[01:02:28] And, um, and you know what I mean? Like, and that's just how it is. Like everyone needs someone to blame, you know, everybody needs someone to blame on the race. What were the odds that if I said to them, which way is the ladder, they would have told me where to go zero. So I feel no guilt about not saying also, but they also didn't ask. So like, let's put blame where blame is. You don't ask me where you're going, but you're mad at me for not reading your mind to tell you which way to go. Like, come on, let's relax. So wait a minute. So they were mad because you didn't tell them where the ladder was.

[01:02:58] That there were no ladders left or something. Oh, okay. Okay. So that's what I thought that they were mad at. Okay. Cause I was like, wait a minute. And then what am I supposed to tell you that you're missing a mannequin? Sure. Here, take my million dollars. Absolutely not. Right. I'm not running your race. Yeah. Yeah. But nevertheless, I'm invested, right? Like episode nine has recharged up. This was juicy and delicious. This was like, in my opinion, like a quintessential amazing race episode. I agree.

[01:03:27] I think this episode, last episode, next episode, this three episode stint is, get ready, Bryce. I'm literally going to come back just to hear about you watching this next one. And Bryce has not seen the next one. This is new to him. Oh. It's not. I watched it in real time, but I was like six. So it does it. And he's like, it was on in the background and he wasn't really an amazing race fan back

[01:03:56] then because we got into it after my season aired. And so, you know, it's going to be very different when he sits down to pay attention to see what's going on. I guarantee I'm going to get 11 phone calls while you're watching it being like, wait, what's going to happen next? I'm like, just press play, man. Like it hasn't taken. I do know this is the bike. I know you're riding a bike. I am riding a bike. Yeah. Yeah. That is. There's a photo of her in Vietnam on a bike behind her that she talks about.

[01:04:25] Riding a bike. I will say in the next one, production doesn't get involved. If you're doing something wrong or it's not working for you, they don't do anything. But the only thing I'll say about the next one is on our bikes, there was a camera and my bike handles were turned completely the wrong way. So I was riding a bicycle with the camera facing the wrong way and the handlebars backwards because I couldn't fix it. And so someone had to turn around for me, not because to help me, but because the camera, I wasn't capturing. Yeah. We're not going to get the face. The world.

[01:04:53] And they're like, no, we need her face because girls are miss. And so that's the only thing that, but we get to meet this little guy, this little guy in the next episode, because it was still Travelocity and it was still sponsored by, and we had to carry him through the, I use the term streets loosely because they were gravel roads at best of Vietnam. He just calls them completely the wrong names or adds six people to their team. Yeah, I don't remember.

[01:06:14] I just can't get the image of him running behind Vank out of my head when they U-turned them. You should be scared. Yeah, you should be scared. You're weak and you're pathetic. It's so hard for me to get that out of my head. So I want to go like, are they nice? We don't embrace our emotions. Oh, yeah. Like the most emotional people in the race are men and Brooke. And that's it. So, I mean, I hope he was nice in real life because there seemed like other times. He's amazing in real life. Okay, good. Good.

[01:06:42] Because, I mean, that's what I'm saying is like everyone has these moments on the race. They're just not televised for the whole world to see. So that's good. I just wanted to settle my heart. Right. And Vank also truly wonderful. And Vank and I are going out when he's back in New York next week to go get a beverage together. So I'll see you in the race. How many racers are in New York now? Too many. No, from my season, not very many. I'm London left. And so it is Shamir is here. Vank is here. I'm here. And I think we're the only.

[01:07:13] Shamir. When can we meet Shamir? You can meet him as nice as you want. You, you, I mean. Yeah. Yeah. And we all saw the season. How is he in real life? Super nice. Okay, great. Super cool. Honestly, the race really puts you in situations where like, and not everyone would want to be recorded running the race. I'll tell you that for sure. I mean, I have plenty of friends who were like, I would do it, but I would never want to be on TV.

[01:07:43] They're going to find all of these things and all this horribleness and it'll look bad. And I was like, no problem. Like, I'll be great. I'm a joy. Like I was a mess. So, but you know what? It's all in good fun. And it's all in pursuit of chasing a dream that we've had for a long time and getting to live out your dreams. So I wouldn't change it for the world. And it's amazing. And I also hope to root for both of you again, because gone too soon and excited to cheer again, hopefully.

[01:08:11] I mean, I would love nothing more than to beat you. Cause that would feel real. I'd be like, I'd be one of the best. Cause that would be great. Cause that would be great.
