I'm so excited to have my co-host, a contestant of Amazing Race Season 29, Ms. Brooke Cam. Hi.

[00:03:15] Brooke, how are you feeling? I mean, we're still here. We're doing it. We're powering through. Oh, my God. It's not as bad as I remember it. But we have decided to expand today's panel from just the two of us to two of our favorite people who are joining us. And I, well, please welcome to the podcast, for not the first time and most definitely, hopefully not the last time, two of your favorites and mine.

[00:03:43] And I'm sure everybody's listening, Ms. Izzy and Ms. Paige. Oh, my God. Well, Paige will get this. Cheers. Ah-ha-ha-ha. Clink. Clink. The Titanic. If you haven't seen it, go see it if you're in New York, because it is perfection. On Broadway off. I think I've seen it six, I was going to say six or seven, but I don't want to be that much. That's so impressive. Wow. That's rogueling. I take clients there.

[00:04:13] I'm like, you're going to love it. It's just an excuse to go see a Broadway show again and again and again. And that's my jam. So check it out. She did the lighting. It is perfection. Should've won every Tony. That's all I'm going to say. Oh, thank you so much, Brooke. That means so much. We'll keep that Rob Queen status in this house, okay? I'm buttering up the guests so they only say nice things about me when I'm on screen. Brooke, you were amazing on this leg. This was an excellent leg for you. Definitely recovered from the spoons. Okay.

[00:04:42] And not your work on the spoons, just your mental state during the spoons. Yeah. Did I? We collected ourselves for sure. Brooke always tells me as like we're going in from, because I thought I watched a season and I watched it, but I didn't watch it in its entirety. And Brooke's always like, oh, that's so bad. And I keep watching and I'm like, Brooke, it's really not that bad. Like now, mind you, they are playing with you in the edit, but also you got Shamir. You got Michael.

[00:05:11] Not anymore. Shamir is gone. Now it falls on Brooke. If Shamir stayed longer, I honestly feel like my edit would have been a little bit better. But Shamir is gone. And so who is the drama? What is the drama? It's fine. It's great. I mean, we love- Do you also feel, correct me if I'm wrong, but I do feel like my microphone was turned up 30% higher than everybody else's microphone. Because why am I so much louder? I don't know.

[00:05:39] I don't know if your microphone was turned up, but they definitely were clipping you in a lot more. I mean, overdub, I'm sure. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. A layering. Okay. Yeah. I don't shut up. So it's possible that I really said all those things. You're a verbal processor and that's beautiful. I love a verbal processor. So, you know, we get it. That's why we get along so well. You're safe here, Brooke. My inner monologue is outer. I don't have any inner. It's fine.

[00:06:09] Before we get into episode five, Izzy and Paige, like, do you guys remember watching season 29 in real time? Oh. I think I remember the first time we watched it together. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't think you were an active race watcher when this season originally. No. Yeah. No. But I remember when we watched it for the first time and this was, I mean, like right from the start, the theme of it is insane.

[00:06:37] Like, Brooke, you could tell us why does anyone want to do the race this way? I just wanted to do the race. Yeah. I would do it with anybody. I would have taken my dog. I didn't care. I was like, I just, I'm there. Because I applied so many times. And then Jesse, who's the head of casting, was like, do you, we're thinking about doing something different. Can you make a video by yourself? And I've made so many videos. I'm like, you've seen me already. Like, come on. But also, like, sure, no problem, whatever you want. Yeah.

[00:07:07] So that was like my fourth or fifth video. Went over to my friend Dana's apartment. Drank an entire bottle of wine. Sat in front of her fireplace and was like, here's why I'm going to win the whole thing. That's how you make a casting team. Time out though. When I made my survivor tape, Brooke, ground down the bottle of wine. And I was like, hey, I think that works. Okay. So we're not condoning overindulging in alcohol.

[00:07:34] However, it kind of works. But don't do it. Drinking and don't drink and drive. I don't know. Drink responsibly. But also, if you want to get cast on things. Right, right. Yeah. I don't know. Also, don't film and audition tape and drive, probably. Yeah, right. All three of those things together. The Venn diagram, not good. Yeah, yeah. There's no overlap. No overlap. Got it. Okay, sorry. I have one question.

[00:08:04] I'm sorry if y'all already talked about this earlier in your season. But did you really have like no contact with your partner between legs? Oh, yeah. We wanted to know. Oh, between legs. You were allowed to, because we weren't, this was the only season. The blind date season for the blind date couples. They gave you the option to stay in the same room or not. So we were all in separate rooms. And frankly, I probably would have regardless, because it gives you an opportunity. Like half the teams are getting an opportunity to strategize and talk and debrief.

[00:08:33] And the other half aren't. But for ours, we were all in separate rooms. You could talk to your partner to, if one of you took notes, you could like exchange books. No, really? Yeah, yeah. No, you could. Like if I had taken the notes and Scott didn't have all the notes and he wanted the notes, he could get my notebook. Oh, like notes. Yeah, you're during the leg notes and stuff. Right. But, and if they, like production, when we got later in the season, they took us all out to dinner together at one point.

[00:09:02] But, you know. That's a bougie treatment, bro. You're not supposed to have contact. Now, do people sometimes like sneak? Yeah, because I was going to say, Brooke, didn't I hear a story of a balcony conversation? So, yeah, we, I don't, whatever. I can share it now. Who cares? Well, I want to go back. I won't do this again. So, one in Italy, which is where we go to next, right? So, I'm not spoiling anything.

[00:09:32] All of our rooms were on the same hallway. And there's a production assistant out in the hallway, making sure that nobody goes into anybody else's rooms. But there's nobody on the balconies. And so, people climbed over. Not me. Definitely not me. Certainly not me. I would never do that. Climbed off of their balcony onto the next balcony. It was probably not the safest. But we weren't like super high up. And, and, um, like play cards in other people's rooms and stuff like that. That sounds like a grinded date.

[00:10:01] Like, what's going on? Nothing untoward. My balcony or yours, you know what I'm saying? I'm be there. Yeah. Bing, bing. So, not really. Okay, yeah. My official answer is not. I've thought about that, like, that, that would seem like a super hard thing that, like, your only debrief or, like, analysis of the leg before is on, like, is not in private, is not in just, like, a safe place. It's just, like, in the open.

[00:10:30] You know, that's got to be a difficult element of this season. I mean, we got to debrief a little bit, like, while you were waiting to do your interview. Yeah. On the second leg, it was rough. And, you know, Scott, I, Scott and I were just sort of like, and I was like, we need to just reset. Yeah. Yeah. We probably needed to do that more than once. But that also makes me think, like, when we get these on the interviews of when we see you two together and other teams,

[00:10:58] that makes it even more intense, right? Because it's like, that's kind of really your only time together. And you don't really have much time to, like, talk about things. And so, like, it makes me want to pay more attention. You should, because they actually, if your team isn't getting along, which is why I think the Ashton and Bank interviews that are happening now are hilarious, because they'll separate. They'll say, do you want to do your interviews together or separate? And they'll ask.

[00:11:27] But if you do it separate, they get, like, a little spice. You're really like, OK, so dish on all of. So Scott and I had an understanding and an agreement that, like, we weren't going to tear each other down in these interviews as much as we wanted to kill each other. But, like, Bank and Ashton are on this interview where she's, like, bashing him, and then it pans out, and he's right there. And I'm like, oh, my God. Yeah, that was great. They did that one together. Great TV.

[00:11:49] I do also want to go on the record because in previous episodes, Bank and Ashton, they have been my breakout stars. Like, I've liked the way that they have worked together. However, I do have to say, I want to go on record. Ashton's getting a little mean to my man, Bank. And I don't know if I like it. Well, all episode, me and Paige were saying to each other, don't make me side with Bank. You know what I mean? I love Bank. I love Bank.

[00:12:15] Like, we've been seeing it, and we've been with you, Ashton. Don't push it. Yeah. And make me think that Bank is, like, be on Bank's side now. Well, it's almost like in the early episodes, you know, like, blame it on his, like, lack of, like, social awareness or whatever. But, like, he was doing some of the same things she's now doing to him. And she was stomaching it, and she was, like, working on teaching him how to treat her better. And now it seems like she's just, like, lost that tolerance.

[00:12:45] And now she's turning into exactly the thing that she was frustrated that she was experiencing before. Like, sincere and Melanie on Love Island this season. That's a good point. That's a good point. Yep. Anyway, anyway. Yeah. Should we get into it? I mean, now we're just chatting, right? I could chat all day. But, yes. Come on, Miss Brooke. Where are we at? What are we doing? And this episode, which is four and a half hours long, this Pit Stop recap. Longer than the actual episode and the season. And all of season 36. Okay, okay. One more thing before we go.

[00:13:15] Paige and Izzy, because I do want to know, right? What is it like watching these 60-minute episodes as opposed to the 90-minute episodes? Because when we started this season, you know, I get snacks and I be ready for the episode to go on. And, like, I be naked laying on my bed just enjoying it. And, like, I'm like, it's so quick. Like, what the hell? Like, it's over so short. Like, what do you feel? How do you feel about 60 versus 90 and seeing this, these episodes? Yeah, I don't know.

[00:13:44] Like, I mean, so on any season, regardless of the length of the episodes, we're always frustrated. That's like, why isn't there a timer running? I want to know if this was six hours long. I want to know if this is an hour long. Like, and why aren't we saying how long the flight was? And, like, all the, like, I want to understand that time. But then on the 60-minute episodes, we get more and more frustrated with that. We're like, give us context. Give us something. Like, because it just looks like a quick little tour about town. Or, like, you know, starts to feel that way.

[00:14:12] And obviously, it was, like, very difficult. Like, and very physically demanding. No, I never found it hard at all. It was super easy. I wanted, like, I wanted the full edit of Tara and Joey being a mess in those kayaks. And, like, their interaction with Redman and, I don't know, Skater Boy. I don't know his name. Matt. He's just a little boy that needed a big fan, you know? Yeah. I will get, I'm under, we will get to that because it is just one of those, like.

[00:14:42] Mind-blowing. We'll get to it. But I, like, wanted all of the, you know, like, I want to see in it. You know, as a viewer, I like when you see, like, a clip that is uninterrupted. Yeah. You know? And, like, I think in the 90-minute episodes, you get a little bit more of that. You know, which is nice just seeing, like, that's actually how that unfolded instead of, like, you know, the edit trying to collage something together to tell you how it unfolded. You know? Right. I like seeing people's brains, like, working in real time.

[00:15:12] So, yeah, I think that part we miss a little bit, you know? I mean, it's, like, a different experience watching these, you know, old seasons of the race after running the race, you know? I think. It's hard not to fill in all of the. I wouldn't say old. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I mean. All right. I would call 37 old. That's an old season. Well, I mean, this season did air 1973. So, it is. I mean. And I look no different.

[00:15:41] You look good. You legit look the same. Right. Yeah, honestly. Yeah. So do we. I mean, come on. Thank you to Beauty Fix Med Spa for, you know, all of your health. And tequila. Keeps you young in New York City. Okay. Season 29, episode five. We go to what I can easily say is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. We go to Norway. Norway. I had no idea I wanted to go to Norway.

[00:16:10] I need to go back to every, like, Nordic country that's up there. It is so gorgeous. The people are so nice. You can hit their car and they will not care. Like, it is just, like, the people are lovely. And it was very helpful that there was not a language barrier this time around compared to Africa a little bit. And what you'll see more when we head to Asia at one point in the season, it becomes more difficult.

[00:16:37] So we have Tara and Joey who are in first at 316. Becca and Floyd are four minutes later. Mike and Liz are, like, 50 minutes after that. And then Redman a minute after that. London and Logan a couple minutes after that. And then you have Venk and Ashton at 456. And Brooke and Scott, bringing up the rear, at 530. It looks like we were there, like, many, many hours later. We were, like, 35 minutes after Venk and Ashton. Which made me feel better because I honestly thought we were hours behind.

[00:17:07] But that's fine. And for good measure, of course, they show me making a ladle again at the beginning of the episode. Because why would we not just hit that one more time? Oh, yeah. Don't worry. They used that one clip of Izzy in the wheelbarrow. Wheelbarrow! I knew it. In the season. I'll forever kick that wheelbarrow. You know? She's still kicking it. It deserved it. It deserved it. No toenails. You know? Because I'm just kicking it. It's funny because when I used the winnings to put a down payment on my last apartment in New York.

[00:17:37] And in the kitchen- Girl, you're what? What? This is episode five, my love. You know? The veil of suspense. Well, you can cut this whole part out. I had a little picture of that ladle in my kitchen. And it was like the house that the Amazing Raisin built. So cut it out if you want. 1445 to 1503. Cut the whole thing out if you'd like. But sorry. I wasn't thinking. I wasn't thinking.

[00:18:06] I make such a point to say. A contestant. I'm sorry. Three episodes. I'm just joking. Well, I'm gone. My bad. Yeah. Fired. That's it. You can cut it. So, okay. Start over. We are flying 5,000 miles, which is like a long flight. And again, I don't make fun of season 36 enough, but that's like their entire route. To Allison, Norway. And you have to drive to this lighthouse, which I cannot pronounce, and eat this fish.

[00:18:36] The fish is delicious, bro. Yeah. It's a delicacy. Like, don't you eat smoked salmon? Okay. Right. So, editing is real because I honestly, I do like lots a lot. I'm a little bit of salt. So, the express pass has to be used this leg if it's to be used at all. And yes. So, before this, Mike and Liz are getting along. Lolo is getting along. Bank and Ashton are not getting along.

[00:19:03] And Scott will not stop joking that he has the express pass. After the world's worst day we had in Africa, he said no less than 300 times, well, we should use the express pass this leg. Or I have it in my bag. And I'm like, this is not. It was funny like six times. It's not funny a hundred times. And there was a tiny, tiny. I know he didn't because he can't keep a secret like that. But there was a tiny part of me that was like, if he pulls that thing out of his pocket today, I swear to God, I will beat him to death with it. Because if he didn't let me use it the last time, we're not using it now.

[00:19:33] No, I paused the episode. Brooke, that would have been a terrible place to use that fast forward. The express pass. The ladle? Yes, you were fine. You completed it. Definitely fine. You were there. Right. The fact, you know what? Scott would have been a strategist for the ages if he was joking and lying and didn't let you use that. I will die on this hill, Brooke. Look, that was not the time. That is bad team, teammateship.

[00:20:02] Well, yeah, y'all were a mess teammate-wise anyway. Y'all are poking fun at each other constantly anyway. So who cares? What she's saying is that you didn't excellent. Yeah. Yeah. You did great. You were not, you know, no matter what you felt, you were not in danger. Those are the facts. You were, you did it. You did it. Every time you say can't, you're. Oh, did you kick them off? No, I didn't. I didn't. I did. That was the show. I was like, they're saying something nice. Why did you?

[00:20:31] I didn't touch it. Hold on. I'll pause it. That's so good. That was not me. We were like, oh, Brooke said bye. Brooke was like. It wasn't me. Brooke was like fucking me having guests. I actually just said, Bryce, did you kick them off? They were saying something nice. What are you doing? I'm using my yelling tone because I'm passionate because like Brooke is so capable. This is how she gives a compliment. It's confusing sometimes. Yeah. Take it. Thank you. It's very kind. Okay.

[00:21:01] So about this fish, I want to talk about this. Let's talk about this. So this lighthouse was like, now I know like a half a mile is not far for most people. It is for me. But same, same, same. But we had just come from like 90 degree heat. We landed in a row. It was significantly colder and we're hoofing it. And for me, that is far. And we get there and I'm just like having trouble catching my breath. Right? Like it's breezy. It's cold in the air and the water. And so I just need to breathe. And Scott's like, shove that fish in your mouth and eat it.

[00:21:31] And I'm like, I'm trying. And then he's like, lift your arms and like wiggle so that he's the one who's telling me to like raise my arms. Like I'm Joey Chestnut trying to take down 400 hot dogs. And I'm like, and it wasn't, I can't eat it. It's I can't breathe. And then I don't know why I said it was gross. I actually really like locks. I don't know what I'm talking about. I was ridiculous. It was just, it was one of those moments of ridiculousness. And then to top it all off right after that, because Becca and Floyd get it in there in

[00:21:58] first and they see the fast forward option right there. And Scott's like, we can get it. Let's go. And I'm thinking to myself, dude, you know, you're going to have to jump out of this helicopter. There's no way you want to do this. Like he would not. I mean, I think he would have done it. Yeah. But like, he would have no choice at that point. Well, right. You know? Well, right. Because it wasn't even like you go up and you're jumping right there. They actually had to take that helicopter a while, land further away, get strapped up and go back up and then jump.

[00:22:25] Well, it's kind of like an absurd fast forward in some ways because of how long it took, even though it was like not an actionable task. You know what I mean? Like it's different on that, you know, what was it on 35 where they had to do that ski, you know, the long ski jump stairs all the way up and then zip line. Like, you know, if it's going to take you however long it gets to those stairs, that's on you. But like this was designed to take too long to ever be first. Right. This is one of the only fast forwards where the team didn't finish in first place. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:22:53] Not to spoil the end, but like Beck and Floyd didn't fumble that. They did it as efficiently as possible. Right. And it was not fast enough to beat the regular leg. Was that Ricky and Cesar's season or Greg and John's season? Greg and John. Where they did the scuba diving one? Oh no, that was Carson and Jack. Okay. Because that's another fast. Where I'm like, you got to get safety. I mean, it looked amazing, but like, is it really a fast forward?

[00:23:21] If you have to go through this class and all of it, like, I was like, I don't know. Now I've never played the amazing race. Riddle me this y'all. If you have the express pass and you know that another U-turn is coming up, should you go for the fast pass? Or should you give the express pass to somebody else to garner favor with them so that if they do beat you to the next U-turn, you're most certainly not going to get U-turned? Right.

[00:23:50] I think that's like a more interesting strategy. Like, I think that's like a more interesting reason for the race to be this social thing where we're all racing at the same time. Because we talked about this all the time. Like, if it's designed in such a way that we are not supposed to interact, why aren't we just doing time trials? And it doesn't, you know, and you're not interacting with each other, you know? So, Brooke, I think that's like a more interesting strategy or way to use it.

[00:24:16] I also tend to think that fast forwards, express passes, all of that stuff is like, I don't know, like more of a hindrance to have in the back of your mind, right? You're doing a task and you're like, we saw it, Josiah, my boy, Josiah and Alyssa. That express pass plagued them forever. Every task that they maybe struggled with for a second, they're like, express pass, express pass. And it's like, just focus on the task. Plague me all day. I'm fine with it.

[00:24:46] Oh, yeah. No, see, I don't want that. I want to just like do it. Yeah. Whenever we were in a situation where we were like, this is literally impossible, but there is not another option. So, like, we're not going to like waste any brain power on being like, should we express pass? We're just going to figure this thing out. Yeah. Like, you just kind of have a clear mind. I need to take a page. I need to take a page. But because they didn't even get to use because wait, they got the express pass in their luggage, right?

[00:25:13] And so they never even got to use it, right? They didn't even tell anybody they had it. Or they were giving it to someone because like they were going to do the fast forward. And they were right there. Oh, you can gift it. You can gift it to someone. Oh, yeah. You can do whatever you want with it, you know? Yeah. But alas, they did not. Well, whatever. I was going to drop old news that doesn't matter.

[00:25:40] I was like, Jag and Jazz should have done that with teams that they thought they could be on that leg that they ultimately burned their express passes on leg eight. It's true. You know, like they were fine. They were our, you know, they were like at least an hour, at least Jag and Jazz were, of everyone. And they could have given their team to Joseph and Adam. You know, like anyway. Right. And then Chelsea and Jack wouldn't have been safe. Anyway, it would just have been a different thing. Right. Now I'm more interested. Brooke, Izzy, Paige or Brooke, Paige.

[00:26:10] Has anyone ever gifted their express pass? Oh. It's been forced. People have been forced to. Really? Yeah. I guess I'm trying to think of the independent. Yes. It was the, was it the country singers or was it Dustin and Candace? There was a team of two blonde ladies. And I'm going to now, I think it was, they were called Dustin and Candace. And there was a task that they had to do. They had to build some, this is literally off the top of my head. So I'm, I'm sure I'll get details wrong. I'm going to show somebody down there will tell me why I'm wrong.

[00:26:40] But they were, they were this task where they were like building these kind of like race car things or something with race cars. And they were just flirting their way into the express pass. They were, they were like, you guys don't need it. You're never going to need it. Can we have it? Please, please, please. We're going to lose. We're going to be out. You want to be up against us because you can beat us eventually. And a team gave them their express. I think it was in Dubai. It was the blonde with the animals. Yeah. The blondes that were like the animals. And I think that, yeah, I think you're right.

[00:27:06] I very recently met the guy who coached them through their audition tape. He's a ticket taker at a theater in Colorado Springs. Yep. Wait, what? Yeah. I was working at a theater in Colorado. And I, yeah, I'm like the guy who I like went to reserve my opening night ticket. He was like, I love you on the race, by the way. And I was like, cool. Well, I just gave you all my contact information. And yeah. And he was like, well, I, I used to, he didn't really make it clear.

[00:27:36] But he was like, I used to coach teams through, through their auditions. And I, I got a team on. And then he said, he was like, I can't remember. They didn't do as well as you though. And I went and like looked it up and they got the exact same place as us. So I went back to him the next day. And I was like, quit talking down about your girls. Like they smashed it. Yeah. Right. And love it. Okay. See, we're learning things. We should have people on for more of these. Cause I feel like we're learning more and we're not so much talking about the disaster. Me. Okay.

[00:28:04] Um, actually said, um, so the fish eating thing did inspire us to start a counter. Um, we counted every time that Brooke said negative self-talk. I can't, I I'm too weak. I can't do it. Stop counting. We're not strong enough. You run out of lead in that pencil real fast. I wish we had like broken it up by task. We did not. You lost a lot on the fish. Yeah.

[00:28:31] At least 50% were, were right up front at the fish, but we'll let you know the final count. Yeah. Oh, good. I was hoping you'd let me know the final count. Excellent. So once you got the fish down your gullet, you had to go to this place called sling, slinging. It's Norwegian. I can't get it right. It's this huge, like wooden structure made out of pallets that ultimately is used every year.

[00:28:56] Well, they rebuild it every year to break their own world record of largest bonfire. This thing was so cool. I wanted to climb it. Scott actually said, volunteer to climb. He's like, you've done too. I haven't yet. Like I can do this. And I'm like, so what you're saying is I solved your fear for you. And they of course play the part where I'm like, you're welcome. That's what I'm here for. And he's like, thanks Brooke. We want to kill each other. But like in the best, we're like brotherhood. So it's fine.

[00:29:24] I mean, you two were just delivering it to them on a silver lining. Yes. And they were egging you on. I could just hear them producing this. Yeah. It gets better and better and more ridiculous. We start to, I mean, as you're doing okay. If you're, we were dead last at the beginning of this leg. And so to all be on the same flight and going together was just like the shot of like life that we needed in us. And it just like, put us back into, we can do this.

[00:29:54] It's fine. Until I tell myself I can't. So anyway, we're, we're in second place at this point. And then, um, we're Beck and Floyd go for the fast forward. And then there's Bank and Ashton us. I was definitely being extra. I admit it. And then London and Logan, Matt and Red, Joey and Tara and Liz and Mike are a little bit lost, but not nearly as lost as they will be later. And Scott gets in the car and she is mad. He's like, we needed to fast forward. Now we're in last. And I'm like, my dude, we're in second place. Like we are about as good as you can be.

[00:30:24] And I think it did. It was one of those moments where I'm like, no, I'm not going to, we're not feeding into this. We're not last. We're okay. We're in second. And he's like, okay. And that sort of like turned us around a bit for the day. And at this time, Beck and Floyd are flying through a rainbow, which is just like, nobody else should be doing this. This is like, you're off the charts. That's what turned Becca gay. Actually. It's right there.

[00:30:53] And that helicopter. I don't know her well enough to say that. That was funny as hell. That's so funny. Oh my God. She's going to love that. We're sending her that clip. Okay. So this is the roadblock. It's you have to help set this world record by passing one of these wooden pallets up the tower. And then you have to climb it, nail it down, look around and climb down and get your clue. Tell me. Oh no. I was like looking around. Yeah. It was.

[00:31:24] So Tara's leg is apparently hurting her. So Joey does it. Matt psyched because he's just like a spider monkey in real life. Ashton goes to do it. Scott volunteers to do it. Um, Logan does it. And Liz also, she's very good at climbing. She's so little and she's just like scurries up. Yeah. Everything. I love Liz and Michael. Yeah. We have to say at the beginning of this episode and like before this, we were really strongly identifying with Liz and Michael. Very much. That does take a turn.

[00:31:52] But at this point in the episode, we were like, wow, we love these oddballs. Yeah. And I loved the episode even started. I mean, now in retrospect, it's like precursor to the demise, but the whole episode started with Michael giving Liz this like incredible compliment of what a great teammate they are. And like, you know, you could just see in her eyes the like, you know, what that means. Right. To know that like you both are, have the same goal and like respect each other and what you bring to each other, you know? Yeah. They were on this like great streak.

[00:32:22] Such a good job. They feel empowered actually. Thank God they want to vacation. So both of them could have a nice vacation. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So well. And, but I also thought it was so interesting because me personally, I was like, were they doing so well? Because Michael was kind of like spearheading a lot of the things and kind of like his.

[00:32:47] I think it was less that Michael was like so much leading in the beginning, but that it was more like, you know, he got frazzled by maybe for the first time feeling like really insecure about how to deal with the mentor. I think it was going so well up to this point for them because Michael did not require caretaking. It was being a collaborative teammate. And then the minute he, you know, maybe Liz had a skill that he didn't have, he like panicked

[00:33:17] and needed to like assert himself more. But it was like, you seem maybe more confused than her. And so like, now you've stopped being a teammate and now you like need her to make it okay. And you are like, you know. Right. And I thought she was doing a good job of managing him though. What do you mean? She did not have the skill. Girl. I, I like Liz a lot. Girl cannot read a map. Mike was not wrong. Maps are not magic. This is North. Right. This is North. This is North. Right.

[00:33:54] This map is that statue. And so we have to orient ourselves. Yes. And he was saying that is fine. And it's like, that's wrong. Because it was after her being like, look, the back says North. I was like, what planet am I on? This is a Tara and Joey moment for Mike and Liz. Like these two moments were just different, but very the same. We're like one partner just isn't getting it in the moment. And the other partner's like, I don't get how you're not getting it. And so this is making me not understand what we're supposed to do. Right. Yeah. I'm seeing.

[00:34:24] Yeah. I'm just like, I just think like people bring different skills, right? Like for us to navigate, like I have a really hard time orienting myself. Yeah. But once I'm oriented, I have the best sense of direction. Yeah. You know, and so like the one who knows how to orient us, but then we start making the turns and I lose that sense of direction. And so like, she's the one who keeps us going. Yeah. So I think we felt for like, I mean, I felt for Liz in that moment to be like, I know how to start this. Yeah. And then Michael was just like panicking, panicking, panicking.

[00:34:54] Yeah. What I saw was a leg that started with Michael being like, I'll get us there. And then panicking because he didn't know how to use the map. And so Liz said, great, I'll give it a shot. Yeah. And then, yeah. And then he got on the narrative of she's not letting me as opposed to, I didn't know how to do this. And like, but he's trying her best. You know, it feels like I'm not ready to put that all on Liz because I saw someone trying to like keep a level head.

[00:35:18] I'll never put it all on.

[00:35:47] And then you take it back to the theater and you get your clue. On the other side, you have to take a kayak into this canal, pull up fishing lines, and there'll be your clue on one of like the little lures. And then you have to go to your next thing. Can I ask you a question? Oh, go ahead, Bryce. Nope. Oh, because I know I had a cuss out. So ask Brooke the question, because then I got a cuss out and my cuss out to the amazing great staff on these detours, because how are these even? Yes. This is our question, Bryce.

[00:36:15] Brooke, I'm curious, like, why did so many people choose the trolls? Like when you have like a sort of contained course, that's like, you know, versus like more navigation and like more foot, like running. Why? Like why choose that detour? Right. I want to, you know what? Part of me wants to just grab it because I have every clue written down in my little book, but I kind of half remember the description for the kayaking being not particularly

[00:36:44] descript. And you didn't know like how long the course was going to be. You just knew you had to kayak to get clues off fishing lines. And I think the way it sounded was like, this could be miles. This could be like a very long distance until you see it. I mean, you guys know if you're doing one half of a detour, you never even see the other half until it appears. And so unless you're switching. And so I think it sounded very daunting. And the other one just sounded kind of fun. And also it most definitely did not say you were going to be carrying around 30 pound

[00:37:14] huge chunks of wood around the city. Like it just said, find the trolls, get your clue. And then you find out that they're handing you these humongous heavy sticks to carry around. So, but I. Not even. This is one of the ones that's just not. I mean, yeah. We figured it must have been something. Yeah. Clue made it seem like that was more appealing because why was everyone doing this like insane task when you could just like hop in the water and like go across the canal and be done.

[00:37:43] And also like, yes, Bryce, to add to the cuss out, you're going to put all the cues, clues on the. Right there? They're next to each other? That's crazy. And y'all let Joey find it first. Y'all let Joey find it first. They found it so easily. They were convinced they had not done this. Yes. I thought they were wrong. Because it was so easy. They were like, we can't be done yet. I mean, it was a red and yellow stripe. They just found the needle really fast.

[00:38:13] I mean, I guess that happens. But my, okay, we can skip to this because honestly, we're here. My thought on this is Tara, like, come on. You so much don't think you got it that you are, you're telling Joey, let's talk to Matt and Redmond. Let's put our heads together. Oh no. And then you put your heads together. And then she's like, why'd you tell them? And I'm like, you told him to ask them.

[00:38:37] This was, I don't, I don't, I felt, I felt for Joey in this exchange where he's like, what, what do you mean? There has to be more than one in the water. What do you mean? What do I mean? No for Joey. Yeah. Don't make me side with Joey. This season with all, like, since everyone doesn't know each other, I feel like it is totally plagued with people blaming someone else for the exact thing they are self-conscious about. Like, it's just like, I feel like it is everywhere throughout this season.

[00:39:06] And I love how it comes up though, right? Because some teams are due so well that you don't see it. And then you start to see peaks of it. Like last episode, Tara was like, bitch, if you want a new partner to say that, right? And so then you get here and it's like, it doesn't make sense. But the thing that I've been loving the most about this season is like the collaborative, right? Even though Joey shows it to Redmond and Tony Hawk. Matt.

[00:39:36] But that wins them favor, right? Like, and now it like, and I always say this on a podcast where one of the first seasons I watched was Will and James' season. And I'm like, Will and James, they brought Survivor into it. They're forming alliances. I'd actually like to formally redact that statement because watching this season, Brooke, we are on episode five. Bitch, you have been the collaborative queen, Brooke. I see you with Logan in London.

[00:40:04] We see you like forming these packs and working together. And so like, I always say Will and James, but I hadn't gone back to 1973. But now that we're here, I see you queen. [00:42:28] We're doing decently well. And then decide if we drive our car around the city, we can pick up all these fireworks better. And we have Brooke and Scott and London and Logan working together, going to every place together. And Liz and Mike, which I'm effectively calling Mapgate, not understanding how to read a map. But. They fell apart. It's over. A little bit. A little bit. This is where the cracks start to happen. It's not great. I will say my favorite moment, which I didn't totally remember happening, is as Bank and Ashton are driving. They drive past us and they're like, hi guys.

[00:42:58] What's going on? You're doing so great. Beep, beep. Beep, beep. And it's Bank. Bank's all like, hey guys. Like thinking he's funny, which I actually think is hilarious. Yeah. Because you hear people talking about them and they're not saying bad things about Bank. Like Bank is. Love him. And then as they're parking, we all run past the car and we're like, not a great idea. Right. Right. As soon as we saw that, we were like, well, they're going to have to park the car.

[00:43:27] And also like all the time it took trying to figure out how to Tetris these big ass fireworks, whatever in the car. It's like, it's funny because like, actually, if you just like do what it says, you'll be very successful. You know what I mean? Like there were, you, it wasn't, you weren't supposed to take the car. You're supposed to be on foot. Like, you know what I mean? Like just. I do give Bank and Ashton a lot of credit because while you're not supposed to take the car, you're supposed to be on foot.

[00:43:55] You could take the car to the pit stop, which some of us didn't realize cause we didn't realize. I'm not going to say anything. You don't feel so accomplished after climbing all those stairs. There's a wind pull out, you know? Totally. We don't need no shortcuts. You know? Listen. You did it. Also, I don't know. I don't know how this season ends, but maybe it was fine. You know? We'll have to see.

[00:44:25] But we have to find out. I will say in the middle of this detour is when we also started the positive self-talk counter. That's true. Um, because Brooke, Brooke got a wind and she had that firework on her shoulder and she said, we don't need to go carry this. Let's keep going. Yeah. Some place sound effects over them saying nice things about. But it's like once again, you know, Brooke's just locking in and getting it done. You know what I mean? She is. Yeah.

[00:44:53] The thing that cracked me up the most though was when she had that one and she was like, Oh, Oh, Oh, I can't complain because I'm only carrying that. This is heavy. They were heavy. And then they show Scott with 37 of them. But I love the pep and Brooke's step though. Yes. Carrying that one. Carrying one. He said, Scott keep going. Let's go. Yeah. I said, that's my girl.

[00:45:21] Also, Brooke, we need to acknowledge Izzy and Paige normally on every pit stop season that we cover. We love the paid actors and we love the judges, right? Like we, like we, you know, like we love it. And this season has had a lacking of them. We haven't like, we haven't talked about a lot of the judges, but I just want to say the trolls, baby, they need a raise. The entire troll ensemble was.

[00:45:52] Yeah. The way they opened the door. The way they handed it. Yes. And also the lady on the stage in the theater. Honestly, you didn't see nearly enough of her. She was doing the sing songiness and the whole mother goose of it all. Like she was just so. And your clue came out from like a nerd. Yeah. Yeah. I loved her. I loved that. So great. I just love that whole country. It was amazing. Could you show me again how the trolls backed out?

[00:46:24] I'm going to be one of those trolls for Halloween. That's a great. I used to collect trolls. Me too. I used to have a million of them. That was like at Thanksgiving, maybe like four years ago, it was like my brothers and my cousins. And I don't know what we were talking about, but trolls came up and I was like, I had such an extensive collection and like my brothers were like, yeah, we, we, we, we knew you was sweet back then, Bryce.

[00:46:54] I was like, why would you say? Rainbow early. Why would you say that? Happy Pride. They was like, you had. We knew Bryce's her kid's helicopter ride through the rainbow. That's right. Yeah. You had all the color hair. You know? And I used to take baths with them. Like I used to tell people we put the mattress in our living room. Bryce is telling people he takes baths with his troll dolls. And my favorite one was with the pink hair. Yes, it was. A diamond belly button.

[00:47:24] Oh, yes. I used to have one of those on a pencil, the little pink hair with the diamond belly button. I had a troll doll and I cut all of the hair. You too. Flew through the rainbow. I'm real bad, but lesbian. Yeah. Okay. That's the difference. She was like, you know what will make this troll look great? A buzz cut. That's right. I'm really into it. You okay, helicopter ride. Okay. This is amazing.

[00:47:55] Meanwhile, these two are on the helicopter ride. They have jumped out. And Becca, like Paige will know, when you jump out of a plane or a helicopter or something and go open your mouth to scream, your whole face just sort of goes like and like blows up. Becca's laugh as she has jumped out of this helicopter is everything. I find so much joy to it. Floyd is so happy. He's screaming. I love the amazing, right? You know, it would have been fun to do the fast forward, but these were the right people to fast forward. So they have landed.

[00:48:24] They are so happy. Becca's cracking up. I too laughed my ass off when I landed because I was like, that was the dumbest decision who jumps out of a perfectly good plane. But okay, let's do it again. And they are on their way to the pit stop, which is excellent. Say again. She cried. I did not. I did not laugh. I also did not experience the like mouth flopping because every muscle in my entire body was tense. So no wind was caught.

[00:48:52] Yeah, I did not have that experience, but I respect it and I love it for you. Yeah. In all fairness, wind was caught because I remember the guy being like, do you want to pull the rip cord? And I was like, no, like I don't want to pull anything. You do it. I'm going to hold these straps and just pray for my life. I don't think I like that. It's called a rip cord. That's what it's called. That is absolutely what it's called. I was like, that's what he said. Okay. So Becca and Floyd are driving to the pit stop.

[00:49:18] Matt and Joey and Tara and Red have Matt and Red and Tara and Joey are told about the pit stop and they run up the thing. So there are two ways to get up there. Wish I had known that. So Tara and Joey are first, Matt and noticeably they don't get a prize, right? And Matt and Revan are second. Becca and Floyd get up there and they think Phil is joking when he's like, you are team number three. And Becca's like, nah, no, no. Because it's like they were set up for that. Yeah. Yeah. Trash.

[00:49:48] But they're okay with it because they had such an experience that worth it. Third place. Yeah. It's not even a real, right? This was the mega leg before they coined the term mega leg. So it used to just be keep racing. I keep racing like, and so back at the detour, uh, London and Logan are fourth. Scott and I are fifth. Bank and Ashton are right after us in sixth and Liz and Mike are seventh. They decide because Mike's smart.

[00:50:17] He's like, well, there's like a huge restaurant up there. There's bound to be a road. We didn't think about that. Cuss. Not me. We all. So we are running, running. Some of us are running and some of us are Brooke up the mountain. She was moving forward and they did very well. You know what? She had all of this to the thing. Like, I don't know why you're still, it feels like fresh for you, Brooke. It does. Because I watched it yesterday and I did, this was one of the hardest legs and it doesn't

[00:50:45] look that way, but it was hard for me because I felt like we were running with another team the whole time and London and Logan are cheap. She, they run. And so when we were going to the end, I'm like, Scott, you're going to have to slow down for me. But this was after a lot of back and forth of like, you need to be faster. You need to be faster. And I'm like, I'm doing, I'm doing the best I can. And I kind of lost it when he was like, you guys go ahead. Like, I know I have to wait. Like, it was not the only comment, but again, I get it. I was slowing our team down and it made me, I just sort of lost it for a moment.

[00:51:14] And we keep going and we get up there and Vank and Ashton, because they're smart enough to drive are in fourth place, but are not happy. She is just, she's had it with him and they've had it like with this pairing at this point, but they're told they're fourth. And yeah, after that culmination of just, it was a lot. It was, our season is sort of known as the season of stairs. Like the pit stops are behind me and several of them, I think almost half were up several

[00:51:43] hundred stairs or, and some of those stairs were like etched into the side of a cliff, like not even real. Yeah. Those are hard. It was, it was a lot exhausting as hell. And it's like, you're so close to the end. You don't know where anybody else is. Someone's done the fast forward. You know, you're hopeful that you're ahead of a team that's having a problem, but you never know. And honestly, if Liz and Mike had found the right road, they probably would have beaten us up there.

[00:52:09] And, but the elevator music as Liz and Mike are in the elevator. We're like huffing it. And it's like, do-do-do-do-do. And it's just very, very funny. This is a decision I don't understand. Liz is like, I want to get in the elevator though. So like the second they stepped into the elevator, like you would have to know immediately, like it gives you floors. It gets like, what are y'all doing?

[00:52:36] Like that was like so frustrating for me. Well, it's almost like, it feels like a little bit, you know, they had such a hard leg. It feels sometimes you don't even realize it, but there's some self-sabotage-y, you know, like, like who knows if there was a little like, oh man, it's over. Like, am I even, you know, somewhere deep? Like, am I, cause it looked like they gave up, right? Like emotional. I mean, they just got in a car accident. They just did not have a day.

[00:53:02] Like Mike hits the car and this is a testament to how nice the people in Norway are. The guy's like, ah, that was there. It's fine. Don't worry about it. And he's like, cause you can't leave, right? The rules are you can't leave without paying a cab. You have to settle up. You have to do your thing. And if there's any sort of damage to anything, you have to either be told it's okay. Or, you know, settle up in some way. The guy was so nice. And I think that their thought process in that elevator was go as high as we can. And then we'll have to run less.

[00:53:32] I mean, it said parking for axles. So there's gotta be a way in somehow, but to then drive back down and then run the whole thing. I don't, I don't understand. And I, there was a road, but when they get up there and feels like things don't look so good guys. And they're having this little like argument and this poor little kid who's playing the fiddle looks up at his parents who clearly are, I don't think these are his real parents. Everybody's an actor. And he's like, what, what are we doing?

[00:54:00] Like so uncomfortable. This poor little kid was like, I don't, it's okay. And then Phil says that we're still racing. And like, I gotta tell you, there's more than one leg where it's either not, you know, there'll be non-elimination legs. That's not giving anything away. This is before those stops happening. But like, there's like a sense of relief. If we're last and we're told keep racing, these two were like, that's fine. We'll figure it out.

[00:54:29] They were just, it was, it was not their day. Right. Yeah. But tomorrow is another day and they get to keep going. But do they? Because the way it leaves off, I'm like, that's why I was like, I can't wait to get to episode six. Do they quit? Because like, it seems like they. Yeah, I genuinely don't remember what happens in the next episode. And I would not at all be shocked if they, if they go out, if there's no coming back from this mentality.

[00:54:57] I cannot wait to give you the behind the scenes on the next episode. Especially with Liz and Mike, because it is, I know you haven't seen it. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but I will tell you, we got to go with them on a chunk of that next leg. Like, it was everything. Wow. I have a lot to share on the next one. I feel so bad.

[00:55:23] Like, we talked about this a little earlier where it's like, I feel bad because like, again, up until this point, it's like, don't judge a book by its cover. And of course, when we saw the cast, I'm like, I don't know what the hell this might going to do. Four episodes. I'm loving them. Right? Like, him and Liz are perfect. And then he like reaches this point and I get it because I myself have meltdowns. And so like, I know it's so hard to get. Brooke is perfect. Okay. Add that. Come on. You wanted me to be more positive. Yes.

[00:55:53] We're adding it. And so it's so hard for me. So extreme. In this moment. The middle is not. Because it's like, I've come to love Mike. And I also feel like, I feel like Liz has been putting up with his shit all day. And like, in this moment where it's like, he's being so passive aggressive and she is trying again to give him a pass. And then she reaches her point. Like, all right, bitch. Did I see a different show? I'm sorry. Did I see something different?

[00:56:21] Because from what I remember, and I was there, is that like, Mike's like, we both had a lot of problems. And Liz is like, I didn't do anything. Yes, she did. Oh. Okay. Okay. Listen, I think. Yeah. Say what you want about either one. I think. I love them both. I think they are both beautifully flawed weirdos. And I like the type of people, whatever happened between them in this moment, they have lost the ability to give each other any type of grace. Yeah.

[00:56:51] And that, that is a non-functional team, you know, like, and I think they are both culpable for that, that like, you know, you're going to be racing with someone who has talents and flaws. And like, you have to be ready to accept all of that and work with that. And as soon as you're with a partner, just like shutting it down, as soon as they show their humanity, like you're cooked. Yeah. You're absolutely cooked.

[00:57:13] And I think like the most important thing for a race team is like less what an individual wants to do, but more how you are communicating and deciding things together. And the minute you stop deciding things together, leaving someone out, it literally doesn't matter who's right. Yeah. It doesn't matter who's right. Can we just get out of our minds? Honestly, for this world, like who's right, who cares? Like it is about understanding about, you know, collaboration, about understanding that they both have the same goals.

[00:57:41] Like, especially as strangers, like, yeah, I want to win. So like, I'm relying on you. You both have the same goal. So I don't know what there is to fight about with each other. And we've all been in situations in life, like even in life where it's like, look, I'm sure I know I have, like, even when I don't think I'm wrong, apologize for things just because like, that's what you did. If you felt this way, then I am sorry that I did something in making you feel this way.

[00:58:04] Like, and I just feel like in that moment, like they both needed to just sort of be like, for my part in this, got it. Let's move on. Yeah, exactly. And look, the leg isn't over. We can start. Let's get back to that humility. Let's get back to that respect for each other, you know, and appreciation for how well we've done in the past. Like, yeah, we can do this as a team, you know? Yeah. Yeah. And that actually kind of brings us to if we can go back to our Brooke negative shock counter. Uh-huh. Totally.

[00:58:35] We should have done it for Mike and Liz. We should have. Because the difference here is that like Brooke said, I can't do this. How many times, maybe? You count that up. But you. I thought she was going to say 100 and something. I was like, oh my God. But every time you said it, you literally were still moving. Yeah. While saying. Oh, yeah. I tell people that on mute, I am a very capable racer. Yeah. If you can't. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. But Liz and Michael, like this was the first episode where ever hearing them say, you're

[00:59:05] not letting me read the map or I can't read the map or whatever. And they, they manifested that into reality. Yes. And like actually believe what was coming out of their mouth. So how many times did Brooke say it? Funny enough, 13 times. 13. Oh. Which is what for you. I don't like 30 times. As I was taking the counter, I was like, damn, I wish we did episode four. Yeah. Off the truck. Quadruple it. Just also just for funsies.

[00:59:34] And I'm just going to say this and do it for episode 10, except it'll be a drinking game that time. You will be drunk. You will end up. Just saying. I will say, and this is not spoiling anything because it happens in the first minute of the next episode. Mike and Liz do have a conversation just like Bank and Ashton and Matt and Red had one. And they'll show like a, before the leg starts conversation of them just sort of coming together. And I love the fact that this isn't going to ruin them.

[01:00:03] It was just a bad day. And there's a lot of days. So great. Yeah. I'm so glad to hear that. They find a way to break the stalemate. And like, yeah, go back to treating each other like humans. I'm so glad to hear that. From a reality standpoint, even though like I love them, they're like last episode, they are like my team to win with Ashton and Bank. But what I love about the editing of these older seasons, bitch, I ain't see that coming. Right?

[01:00:31] Like, I just love how it just popped up and it like, it has me so invested. And so again, you know, season 28 is on a really good trajectory for me. 29, 29, 29. But also I will say like, and Brooke, maybe, you know, I'll talk to you about this too. Like, I like being with people that are flawed, like that are, you know, like we're all flawed. Like I like seeing that on TV.

[01:00:56] Like I hate watching the like golden racer edit because it's just not true. Or you're not actually highlighting the things that make you a shithead. Like, I mean, not that I have to go back and bring this up. I love that we haven't given them very, like basically any airtime on this episode. But like. Matt and Redman. Matt and Redman. Like, I just want to shit on them forever for the rest of my life. I did skip over at the beginning of the episode. They say like, we're a drama free team.

[01:01:25] Oh yeah, guys. It's like we treat people poorly. And then we, when they react. Them of drama when they defend themselves. Exactly. Like bullshit. Brooke, don't you dare defend me. I'm going to say two things. One, Shamir was the most dramatic person and he's a male. So male and drama definitely go together. Yeah. And two, I actually love both of them. And they're both actually really wonderful people. So I never experienced, I will say that I never had the experience of feeling like they

[01:01:54] were either coming down on us or, you know, make it like I never, I never felt that. Do you enjoy watching them this season? It's not a fair question just because I know them and I enjoy them as humans and like them a lot. And so that would make me be like, wow, this is way worse. Yeah. I feel like as someone who's never met them, I watched them like poke at other teams and are now like very, very quick to use, to use that to their advantage and to say that they're

[01:02:22] now drama free now that they've gotten the advantage out of it. And the other team, even though like men like them use the word drama as a weapon, 100% of the time after antagonizing people, I think like, you know, they're so, I love a team like that threatened by a team like Ashton and Ben, you know, and the fact that they can't, you know, just admit that they're the emotionally stunted, you know. Oh, I mean, I think that they were like when they're running on the beach and they're like, you should be scared.

[01:02:49] And like, yeah, I think that's like, do I think that's in the wrong? Yes. Do I think it was kind of hilarious to watch because Vang's response is like, okay. Like also, yes, because Vang just had the best response of all time, which was just like, okay, I guess. That's how meaningless that type of ego, you know, like spitting is. That's what made me like Ashton in these beginning episodes, because it's like, she's like, y'all reneged on a promise and like, you're acting like nothing.

[01:03:19] And the first chance I get to get that ass, I'm going to get it. Well, I mean, the thing is Redmond and Matt were not wrong to not honor that coin flip. That was ridiculous. But I love that she gets to be petty because those are the type of the guys. I think, oh, we're great guys. Even though like little skater boy needed to build his all male team. You know what I mean? Like, well, and you know, if Vang and Ashton had gotten there first and said, we're not going to honor the coin flip, then Matt and Redmond wouldn't.

[01:03:48] I don't think they would have cared because they would have done the same thing. Because we talked about, there was like a lot. So why do you say that after you've already been there first and you haven't done it? Only because we were in that like helicopter hangar for the night and we didn't leave until the morning. And so you best believe it was talked about because we were all in the same place and certain people would hold a grudge and wouldn't stop talking about it.

[01:04:13] So it's just and then my partner and I like to like, you know, be involved and be in the conversations. And Scott likes to stir a pot. And he's like, yeah, you can't believe they did that to you. And blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, Scott, stop. It was so, it was funny. I gotta beat Scott. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I like Scott. Yeah. I like Scott. I mean, he's like family. I think. Yeah. Yeah. Let us know when Scott's coming to visit. Yeah, exactly. We're going to have a drink. Yeah. Several, several.

[01:04:44] But yeah, I mean, I can't fault Matt for picking Redmond. I mean, he could have picked anyone. He could have picked anyone. So he had to pick a woman. I mean, I can't be mad. He picked a dude. They were the only all male team. And they didn't know each other. So it's not like, you know, for all he knew, we didn't know anything about anybody. So like, yes, we could have assumed that Redmond lost a leg doing X, Y, or Z. But like, he didn't. He didn't know. And so I can't fault that.

[01:05:12] But I do think it's very funny. They talk about not being part of the drama. And then in the first several episodes, like they are. They are the drama. Yeah, that's all I'm thinking. But also, I am the drama. So I can't really say anything. I don't know. It's different, Brooke. You're not antagonizing. I'm hard on myself. You will never hear me talk ill about the country, the people, the. Yeah. Or the house, which is a different thing. And a little bit hard on. I think they played like four times where I was like, oh, Ashton's horrible.

[01:05:42] Like, they just kept putting my voice over everything. Any moment like that, they're going to just. Oh, my God. They were loving it. Actually brings up a good question. Because towards the end, I think everyone says, like, if a team's getting U-turned, it's Ashton and Bang. Why is that? Is it because they drove by y'all in the car? Let's say yes. Why should I go say? I know. Okay. Okay. Well, all right. Well, let's end this so we can find out. Okay.
