[00:02:24] I am joined by Wendell Holland, the winner of Ghost Island, Jack Atkins from Netflix, The Circle Season 2.

[00:02:31] We are back discussing all things Episode 5.

[00:02:34] We're getting into the sanctuary.

[00:02:37] We are getting into the challenge.

[00:02:39] We're getting into the shakeup.

[00:02:41] It's a lot going on.

[00:02:43] And of course, you know we got to talk about baby Andy.

[00:02:46] So listen, let's get into this week's Survivor News.

[00:02:57] Survivor News.

[00:03:17] What's going on?

[00:03:18] And welcome back to the Purple Pants Podcast.

[00:03:20] Survivor News of Survivor Season 47, Episode 5.

[00:03:25] The baby boys are back, back, back again.

[00:03:28] I'm super excited to be joined by the new co-host of Extreme Home.

[00:03:34] Damn.

[00:03:35] You know what?

[00:03:36] Because I always say it wrong.

[00:03:38] Say it.

[00:03:40] Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

[00:03:44] One of the hosts, Mr. Wendeezy Holland.

[00:03:46] But you might recognize him more familiar from the first merged boot of Winners at War.

[00:03:51] I don't even recognize him because he got these braids in.

[00:03:54] He thinks he's crispity fresh.

[00:03:56] Neighborhood net.

[00:03:58] He has an important message to vote.

[00:04:01] Welcome back to the podcast, Wendeezy.

[00:04:05] What's up, Perp?

[00:04:05] What's up, Jack?

[00:04:06] Great to be back.

[00:04:08] Fresh off our hat.

[00:04:10] Yes.

[00:04:11] We just spent last week with this man getting a ride from Shoeby.

[00:04:15] But we are back.

[00:04:15] The man, the myth, the legend, the Jackery to the Atkins.

[00:04:19] How are you feeling?

[00:04:21] I'm good.

[00:04:21] I'm out of town.

[00:04:23] I'm over in Texas this week.

[00:04:25] And it's been a real busy week.

[00:04:27] So it was just great.

[00:04:28] Last night, it was the first time this season I watched the episode by myself.

[00:04:32] Ordered some food.

[00:04:33] Got cozy in my hotel.

[00:04:35] And just watched it.

[00:04:36] No commercials, which was nice.

[00:04:38] It was a really good experience.

[00:04:40] So I'm really excited to talk about it.

[00:04:41] I've been looking forward to it all day.

[00:04:44] Yeah.

[00:04:44] Well, we also, I feel like earlier in the podcast or earlier episodes, you talked about your crew that you watch Survivor with.

[00:04:53] And it took me all of six seconds to be around people to crack the code.

[00:04:57] FYI, Jackery.

[00:04:59] Jack sometimes watches Survivor with my sister wife, Amanda.

[00:05:04] Austin.

[00:05:05] Zach.

[00:05:07] Yeah.

[00:05:08] It's a great LA squad.

[00:05:10] And yeah, it's nice.

[00:05:12] I love, you know, getting together with people to watch is always a great time.

[00:05:15] But there's something about watching it alone that kind of brings me back to like when I first discovered it in high school.

[00:05:20] And you're just locked in it.

[00:05:23] It kind of transports you to this other world.

[00:05:25] You know what I mean?

[00:05:26] So don't get me wrong.

[00:05:28] You're going to catch me with the crew in LA most weeks.

[00:05:30] But it was just kind of fun to just, after a busy day, settle in and had a big poker win last night.

[00:05:39] So came home from the poker win, showered up, did a little bit of work, and then treated myself with a nice episode of Survivor and a chicken sandwich.

[00:05:48] How romantic.

[00:05:49] We still gambling.

[00:05:53] As far as you watching it, I understand you like making it all romantic, candlelight and all this.

[00:05:58] It's a glass of wine, watching Survivor by yourself.

[00:06:01] But what's it like watching it with the LA crew?

[00:06:04] What's that?

[00:06:05] What are those vibes?

[00:06:06] Because you said it's fun and you're locked in when you're by yourself.

[00:06:09] It's nostalgic.

[00:06:10] But what's it like out there with this group?

[00:06:13] It's been good.

[00:06:14] And sometimes we'll go, you know, there's a weekly watch party in LA at third base.

[00:06:19] And where you guys actually host.

[00:06:21] And I've only been to one of those so far this season.

[00:06:23] I think I went to one last season.

[00:06:24] But it's anyone's welcome to go.

[00:06:26] So if you're in the LA area, that's a good time.

[00:06:28] But, you know, watching with the crew, it's really fun.

[00:06:31] And you get some cool insight as the episode progresses.

[00:06:37] And but everyone, too, is pretty respectful of like when the episode's on, we try to keep it quiet, keep it cute and watch.

[00:06:43] And then during the commercials, you know, we'll talk a little bit.

[00:06:47] So it's a really cool viewing experience.

[00:06:50] I had one.

[00:06:51] I've got a question.

[00:06:52] Oh, do you want to do yours first or can I ask this follow up?

[00:06:55] Let me do mine first.

[00:06:56] All right.

[00:06:57] All right.

[00:06:57] Are you massaging your feet?

[00:07:01] No, I'm putting some lotion on.

[00:07:03] Oh, OK.

[00:07:05] I'm like, why is he sifting from side to side?

[00:07:09] Yeah, no.

[00:07:10] I'm just putting lotion on my legs.

[00:07:12] Now, back to Jackery.

[00:07:15] That was a guilty laugh.

[00:07:19] Just putting lotion on my ankles.

[00:07:21] I got a lotion in my ankles.

[00:07:24] You know what I'm saying?

[00:07:25] So back to Jackery.

[00:07:28] Come on, man.

[00:07:31] I was having a real conversation with my man.

[00:07:34] OK.

[00:07:34] You hit that ball on your foot just now, didn't you?

[00:07:38] I hate y'all.

[00:07:40] They were particularly soft today.

[00:07:42] OK, Jack.

[00:07:44] What's up?

[00:07:44] I'm not big into Twitch streaming, but I'm thinking you got a cool crew and y'all have

[00:07:50] your dialogue.

[00:07:52] Would Survivor be something that like.

[00:07:55] You like could watch and stream or something.

[00:07:58] Jack, who's going to tell them?

[00:08:00] Jack, Papa, Papa just learned what Twitch was yesterday.

[00:08:03] Now he's asking you about twitching.

[00:08:07] No, I'm not an expert.

[00:08:09] It's like, I don't know if you'd be allowed to stream the show over.

[00:08:15] I don't know if that would be a copyright thing, but that could be fun.

[00:08:18] But I kind of feel like, you know, I'd be the type where if it happens, I'm into it,

[00:08:24] but I'm not going to be the one to set it up because it's just a lot of moving pieces,

[00:08:28] a lot of moving parts.

[00:08:28] I'm trying to focus on Fiji.

[00:08:30] You know what I mean?

[00:08:31] So I'm not worried about.

[00:08:34] I don't want to be too worried about.

[00:08:36] But I know Brando, we watch with Brando Meyer a lot.

[00:08:39] He streams a lot.

[00:08:41] And maybe he could be the guy to get it going.

[00:08:45] I just thought that like, if you have the right group of like alum, alumni watching while

[00:08:52] they dialogue, I feel like that would be something people might want to see.

[00:08:55] I don't know.

[00:08:56] Why you can't just do it by yourself?

[00:08:59] A lot of big Twitchers stream by themselves.

[00:09:03] I stand down.

[00:09:04] Why don't you do it by yourself?

[00:09:06] Bryce.

[00:09:06] I actually might.

[00:09:07] Let us know in the comments if I should be twitching.

[00:09:10] But if you don't want to be like Jack this week and watch Survivor alone, you do know the

[00:09:16] BWP Tour 47.

[00:09:18] We were on hiatus this week, but we are hitting the road next week.

[00:09:22] We are headed to Nashville, October 23rd.

[00:09:26] After Nashville, we are taking a boat to the NOLA baby.

[00:09:30] So we'll be in New Orleans, October 30th.

[00:09:33] After that, we were heading to Chicago.

[00:09:35] From Chicago, we are headed to Washington, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Boston.

[00:09:43] And the grand finale.

[00:09:44] Boston, D.C., New York.

[00:09:46] Yes.

[00:09:48] And a little birdie told me that the tickets for the finale will be on sale probably when

[00:09:53] this episode is available.

[00:09:54] So please check the link in the Bryson One Present Instagram and Twitter bio and bless

[00:09:59] your life.

[00:09:59] But yeah, we had an off week this week and we went to New York to watch or to go and be

[00:10:05] a part of the R-Hat live show, which was so fun and amazing.

[00:10:09] It's been a while being on tour.

[00:10:12] Sometimes, you know, our dates conflict, but our dates aligned.

[00:10:15] And it was so much fun to be in the R-Hat building.

[00:10:21] We got an Uber with Bruce and baby, Bruce was brucing.

[00:10:32] I was in, was that an Uber?

[00:10:35] No, that was Bruce's niece, but I mean.

[00:10:38] Don't disrespect Bruce's niece.

[00:10:40] No.

[00:10:42] Yeah, I was like, wait, she was too familiar.

[00:10:46] Now, but I was in the trunk.

[00:10:49] The trunk.

[00:10:50] And this is, Jack, this is not, it's an SUV, but it's one of them crossover SUVs.

[00:10:54] So the trunk is small.

[00:10:57] You just.

[00:10:58] I manned up.

[00:10:59] I thought it was a good idea as opposed to just walking the 20 minutes.

[00:11:03] But little did I know, little did I remember how claustrophobic I am.

[00:11:08] So I'm back there.

[00:11:09] And then I started thinking about this thing I watched on YouTube, Mr. Beast.

[00:11:13] He like, he paid someone.

[00:11:16] He said, if you make it buried alive in a coffin with like, obviously a light in underground,

[00:11:22] it's a little bigger than a coffin.

[00:11:24] For 24 hours, you get paid $750,000.

[00:11:29] And so you channeled that and powered through?

[00:11:32] Well, first of all, that's a crazy, it's crazy in and of itself because they don't give you

[00:11:35] a timer.

[00:11:36] You do crazy stuff.

[00:11:37] I don't.

[00:11:38] What are you?

[00:11:39] All of a sudden you're talking about Twitch and Mr. Beast.

[00:11:41] Who even had it?

[00:11:43] Is your son starting to watch some YouTube?

[00:11:47] Anyway, but anyway, so I'm in the back of this, of Bruce's trunk.

[00:11:52] And I'm thinking about that guy that was buried alive for $750,000.

[00:11:58] And I'm starting to get mad claustrophobic and change my poses.

[00:12:01] At the end of the trip, my sneakers are off because I'm like, I'm going to find more space

[00:12:05] somehow, some way, but I managed to get through.

[00:12:09] And how was the RHAQ Live event?

[00:12:11] I saw you guys were on stage as always.

[00:12:15] I'm curious, like, because I feel like they always prompt with some specific questions.

[00:12:18] What was kind of the topic of conversation that they hit you guys with?

[00:12:24] Well, I think ours was Lavu.

[00:12:26] You know, listen, they hit me with a prompt, but listen, I had to talk about chickens.

[00:12:33] So, he's a master of the pivot.

[00:12:36] But, you know, it was so much fun.

[00:12:37] Like, and shout out to, you know, Rob Sesternino and the RHAQ family.

[00:12:41] It was great to be there.

[00:12:43] Of course, there was a lot of 47s in attendance.

[00:12:45] And so it was great to, like, meet the family.

[00:12:48] And, you know, they are fans of the podcast.

[00:12:51] They posse members.

[00:12:52] So it was really great.

[00:12:53] And shout out to all the posse members that came up to say hello.

[00:12:56] We appreciate you.

[00:12:58] It was so much fun.

[00:12:59] And truly, it was like a really great night.

[00:13:02] Awesome.

[00:13:03] But, I mean, we got some things to get into, Jackery.

[00:13:08] Oh, yeah.

[00:13:10] Let's dive in.

[00:13:11] I mean, there's a few, like, major, you know, talking points this episode.

[00:13:17] And for the sake of time, I think we just dive into some of them.

[00:13:20] And then we can circle back on some of the more, some of the minutia of the episode.

[00:13:24] But I guess let's talk about early, early on, we get this reward challenge with the brand new twist.

[00:13:30] And it kind of led the cast and us, I feel like, to believe that maybe there's a swap going down.

[00:13:38] But instead, it's this, like, temporary reward challenge where they're breaking the two teams.

[00:13:43] And they compete as a group to win this survivor social hour with this group.

[00:13:50] And then they all kind of go back their separate ways.

[00:13:54] And we can get into the nitty gritty of it.

[00:13:56] But I just want to know, like, what did you guys think about this twist?

[00:13:59] It's something we haven't really seen before.

[00:14:02] I loved it.

[00:14:03] I thought the twist is great.

[00:14:04] I think mixing these people up, I feel like they've been doing it little by little with the journeys and people talking with people.

[00:14:11] And essentially a chance to swap stories.

[00:14:14] Is she or he or them telling me the truth?

[00:14:17] I thought it was great.

[00:14:18] I loved it.

[00:14:20] And, I mean, whoever thought of it, it paid off because the, what is it, the game of telephone?

[00:14:27] Because the game of telephone was carrying.

[00:14:31] I was a little disappointed, or not disappointed.

[00:14:34] I was kind of mad at my sis Tiana a little bit because I'm like, Tiana, girl, what is you doing?

[00:14:41] And for me, seeing Tiana just put Gabe out there, two questions came to my mind.

[00:14:50] Is Sue and, what's Sue's daughter?

[00:14:55] Not Rachel.

[00:14:56] Caroline.

[00:14:57] Is Tiana not as close to them as she thinks?

[00:15:02] Or is Sue and Caroline doing a great job at hiding the fact that Gabe is their number one?

[00:15:11] I think they're doing a great job at that.

[00:15:13] And I think Tiana isn't as close as she thinks she is.

[00:15:19] Yeah.

[00:15:21] Go ahead, Mondo.

[00:15:22] Broad strokes.

[00:15:23] I just think that this is a cool challenge, like a cool idea for a challenge to mix things up.

[00:15:29] I also think that, how did they pick the teams?

[00:15:35] You want to talk about it?

[00:15:36] Blind swap across all the groups, I think.

[00:15:40] Oh, okay.

[00:15:41] And the intern got fired because it was a mix-up of all the different people.

[00:15:45] And you know I've been highly critical of when Jack just hands them things on the tray.

[00:15:51] Sometimes the interns forget to mix them up and you get the same tribes together.

[00:15:54] When you put your hand in the bag and wiggle around, you get mixed up.

[00:16:02] Another great thing to see, well, not a great thing to see, a little all over the place was,

[00:16:07] we've seen the highs of Rome.

[00:16:13] Boy, do we start seeing the lows of Rome.

[00:16:18] It's the worst day ever.

[00:16:20] I've got nothing to eat.

[00:16:23] Oh, it's the worst day on spot.

[00:16:27] Rome was pissed.

[00:16:29] He reminds me of Bo.

[00:16:31] My nephew, like, when he's on a high, he's on a high.

[00:16:36] But when he's on a low, he's on a low.

[00:16:42] And they're almost similar in build.

[00:16:47] How old is Bo?

[00:16:49] How old is Bo?

[00:16:50] I love you.

[00:16:51] Rome, nah, Rome gave me permission to talk my trash on him.

[00:16:54] Nah, nah, Rome, I love you.

[00:16:56] But it's like...

[00:16:57] How old is Bo?

[00:17:00] He's grown.

[00:17:01] He's getting old.

[00:17:02] Nine.

[00:17:03] And I think Bo's a little taller, too.

[00:17:08] Just spires me.

[00:17:10] Right?

[00:17:10] Not too much.

[00:17:12] Rome is taller than Bo.

[00:17:15] But that big said, yo, kudos to casting.

[00:17:18] If you can find someone that has this range of emotions and, like, I love watching this.

[00:17:27] I just...

[00:17:28] Limited height.

[00:17:29] Don't do that.

[00:17:30] Don't do that.

[00:17:31] Another...

[00:17:34] Another interesting move that I thought was when they brought up that Sam and Ciara were so close.

[00:17:41] And instantly, Sam's like, I killed it.

[00:17:43] No, no.

[00:17:45] I...

[00:17:45] Who?

[00:17:46] I don't even know her.

[00:17:50] They're like, she's on your tribe with you.

[00:17:53] Oh!

[00:17:54] Ciara!

[00:17:55] Oh!

[00:17:56] I thought her name was Maya.

[00:17:58] Like, I understand him distancing himself, but I also felt like...

[00:18:05] To be like, we barely talk?

[00:18:07] For me, it's like, okay, that's just confirming that y'all...

[00:18:10] It's, in my opinion, it's confirming that y'all talk.

[00:18:14] Yeah.

[00:18:14] I just kind of felt like you're putting the target even more on yourself.

[00:18:20] Yeah, the thing that surprised me, and you guys touched on a lot of the different major things that happened here,

[00:18:25] is just kind of like how messy people got, right?

[00:18:29] Because to me, it's like anything you say here is going to get back to, you know, the other tribes

[00:18:34] or your own tribe through your other tribe mates.

[00:18:37] Or at the latest, at the merge, everyone's going to be talking.

[00:18:40] So I thought the most blatant error was Tiana just like throwing Gabe onto the bus

[00:18:44] when literally everyone else in her tribe other than Gabe was there.

[00:18:49] So it's like, even if she thinks she's close to people, you've got to know...

[00:18:53] If it's not your own tribe, it's going to be the other tribe that goes and tells Gabe like,

[00:18:56] yo, Tiana was talking all sorts of smack about you.

[00:19:00] And then Sue, I also thought like it was a little bit more minor with the Sam and Sierra thing.

[00:19:05] But if I was out there with you guys, I wouldn't be like,

[00:19:09] Bryce, I heard you and Wendell are running the show.

[00:19:12] Like...

[00:19:12] Ooh!

[00:19:14] Yeah, it puts you on the defensive.

[00:19:17] I don't want to be putting anyone...

[00:19:18] I would just be hanging out, picking up on info,

[00:19:21] Tini's still in all sorts of info.

[00:19:24] It just felt like people were really excited, like trying to give up a lot of information

[00:19:29] when, you know, you have to kind of go into that knowing like what you're going to say

[00:19:32] and what you're not going to say.

[00:19:35] And it's just...

[00:19:36] I thought Tini giving up a lot of info was actually good.

[00:19:39] But just with Tiana, I thought struggled a little bit.

[00:19:43] Sue, I didn't think that little bit was great for Sue.

[00:19:48] And like you said, Sam didn't defend it super duper well.

[00:19:52] But yeah, just a lot of like interesting moving pieces.

[00:19:55] And also kind of cool seeing, you know, some people go play cornhole and some people...

[00:19:59] Oh no.

[00:20:00] ...pay back and talk.

[00:20:02] I got triggered from that, Jack.

[00:20:04] It took me back to my Solana days.

[00:20:07] And Jeremiah, Jeffra, and LJ, and Alexis wanting to play cornhole all day.

[00:20:13] You want to play cornhole?

[00:20:14] Oh, I...

[00:20:16] I...

[00:20:17] I wasn't a fan of that.

[00:20:18] One liberal Tini versus...

[00:20:22] But mind you, Jack, what was...

[00:20:24] What did they eat?

[00:20:26] Was this like...

[00:20:26] What did they get?

[00:20:27] Chicken?

[00:20:27] It was like a single hot dog with like no condiments.

[00:20:31] Oh my God.

[00:20:32] Don't the young kids call him a glizzy?

[00:20:35] Yeah.

[00:20:35] They were glizzy goblins.

[00:20:38] Do you glizzy gobble, Jack?

[00:20:40] I've been known to...

[00:20:44] Okay.

[00:20:46] Wait, DZ, do you glizzy gobble?

[00:20:48] Absolutely not.

[00:20:54] Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

[00:20:58] Oh my God.

[00:21:00] I don't know who that is.

[00:21:03] So, Jack, this is another thing that sometimes I don't get with y'all straight men.

[00:21:11] Wendell and Joey got glizzies in my shoes.

[00:21:15] Of course, I'm in the backseat like, oh!

[00:21:19] Wendell had to get out the car to eat the glizzy.

[00:21:22] He didn't want to eat it.

[00:21:24] And first...

[00:21:24] Pull that picture back up.

[00:21:26] For the audio listeners, Bryce has just pulled up a photo he took.

[00:21:30] He snuck a photo of Wendell just going to put town on a glizzy.

[00:21:35] What you call Wendell a glizzy gobbler from this photo.

[00:21:40] He's a glizzy gladiator.

[00:21:44] Well, yeah.

[00:21:45] Isn't it like a thing?

[00:21:46] Like, you gotta...

[00:21:48] Like, yeah.

[00:21:49] I guess, Bryce, you touched on it.

[00:21:51] Like, straight guys, they think it's like sus if they eat a hot dog.

[00:21:57] But then I feel like the more secret you're trying to be about it, that's like what makes it...

[00:22:04] For me, it's just like take a small bite.

[00:22:06] You know, you're not going to get caught doing anything too crazy.

[00:22:09] You don't got to eat it all in one bite.

[00:22:12] I'd hate to see Wendell go to town on some corn, okay?

[00:22:19] Thanks, Bryce.

[00:22:20] Corn is easy, by the way.

[00:22:23] Bryce, you guys, like, why didn't they give us some ketchup and mustard?

[00:22:27] Right.

[00:22:28] And just one hot dog?

[00:22:30] That's what I'm saying.

[00:22:32] Like, a raw dog in the glizzy.

[00:22:34] Oh, God.

[00:22:35] Yeah.

[00:22:36] But shout out to Kyle, because he's a vegetarian.

[00:22:38] He had a veggie burger, a veggie doggy.

[00:22:42] So, yeah.

[00:22:43] That was exciting.

[00:22:44] It was a fun reward.

[00:22:46] It was a nice twist.

[00:22:49] Especially with the 90-minute episodes, we've seen a lot of the camp life, which has been really fun.

[00:22:53] But this was like a nice way to kind of spice up the episode a little bit.

[00:22:59] And, yeah.

[00:23:00] I also thought, to the Tiana point, it was really interesting.

[00:23:03] When she went back to camp, Caroline, I thought, did a good job of trying to play.

[00:23:07] Like, trying to keep people together.

[00:23:09] She anticipates a merge.

[00:23:11] And sort of tips, like, tips Tiana off that, okay, like, maybe Gabe knows.

[00:23:15] Like, you should try to go clear this up.

[00:23:17] And then Tiana kind of, like, doubles down and just, like, lies about things that everyone else is going to back up.

[00:23:23] And so it's just, yeah.

[00:23:25] But, again, for me, Jack, that speaks to the level of which Tiana trusts Sue and trusts Geneva, Caroline.

[00:23:39] Because it's like, I get these names mixed up, right?

[00:23:43] Because it's like, when Caroline brought that to her, I think she spun it to her, like, girl, if we make the merge, this is going to come out.

[00:23:52] So let's kind of, like, protect this.

[00:23:55] And so the fact that Tiana lied to Gabe again.

[00:24:02] And not only, like, he doesn't need to wait to the merge.

[00:24:04] He can fact check with Caroline.

[00:24:07] Or he can fact, like, that for me, that's like, wow.

[00:24:10] Caroline is, she's in a good position.

[00:24:12] And it's like, the fact that she's forward thinking of, like, listen, no matter what is going on with these people,

[00:24:17] I need for us to get together and be merged strong.

[00:24:21] I also was cracking up at Gabe being like, nah, I just gave her the uh-huh.

[00:24:27] And then in a moment, he's like, uh-huh.

[00:24:30] The okay.

[00:24:31] Okay.

[00:24:33] Yeah.

[00:24:34] Yeah.

[00:24:35] Like, I was, like, again, we said it before.

[00:24:38] Gabe has practiced these lies.

[00:24:39] And if that is not, the proof is in the pudding.

[00:24:43] But is that, when you're talking to someone so, like, it's so clearly, you're like, uh-huh.

[00:24:48] Okay.

[00:24:48] Yeah.

[00:24:49] Uh-huh.

[00:24:50] Uh-huh.

[00:24:51] Yeah.

[00:24:51] That was one of my favorite game concessions so far.

[00:24:54] I thought that was.

[00:24:54] Shut up.

[00:24:55] He's great at him, Jack.

[00:24:57] He's great.

[00:24:57] Like, the things that he says.

[00:25:00] Nah.

[00:25:00] He'd be like, I want to crush their son.

[00:25:03] Like, these things that he says, I think he's great at confessionals.

[00:25:06] But to Bryce, that's the thing to me is very premeditated.

[00:25:09] Like, you know he was practicing that at home.

[00:25:12] Whereas the one of him recapping his conversation, that was a little bit more in the moment genuine.

[00:25:17] Because, right, you can't practice that.

[00:25:19] Like, I'm sorry.

[00:25:21] Agreed.

[00:25:22] You're right.

[00:25:23] Right?

[00:25:23] You're right.

[00:25:27] Again, when you're there in the moment just giving her the ah-hahs and stuff.

[00:25:31] Do y'all think that Tiana is receiving that?

[00:25:34] Like, dang.

[00:25:34] Like, I'm not landing this one right.

[00:25:36] Like.

[00:25:38] Normally, I would say.

[00:25:40] Normally, I would say yes.

[00:25:41] But I also felt like Tiana's apology was so insincere.

[00:25:45] That, like, she didn't really care what he was saying.

[00:25:49] Yeah.

[00:25:50] It seemed to me like she kind of was, like, thought it was genuine, you know?

[00:25:55] Well, that's when you're stuck in a conversation with someone and you don't care and you just throw, like, the same answers on.

[00:25:59] You're like, damn, that's crazy.

[00:26:01] But, like, wow.

[00:26:03] Girl.

[00:26:05] Really?

[00:26:06] Yeah.

[00:26:08] Yeah.

[00:26:12] My next question is.

[00:26:15] No.

[00:26:16] My statement.

[00:26:17] I thought that with different people, an apology might be a good strategy.

[00:26:23] Maybe if it's not a Gabe.

[00:26:25] Maybe if it's someone that might be more receptive to apology.

[00:26:28] I think Gabe is, like, just trying to be this super villainous type of, like, and I love it.

[00:26:34] As a character, I love it.

[00:26:36] It's almost like a cartoon villain, if you ask me.

[00:26:41] But I think that, and if someone is onto your whatever you said, snitch on or whatever, in this game, do you think there's a world where apologies would be received properly?

[00:26:54] Absolutely.

[00:26:55] Because at first I was like, oh, that's a good idea.

[00:26:57] Is she going to go piece it up?

[00:27:00] But, yeah.

[00:27:00] But it's the order in which the events happen.

[00:27:03] If the apology comes as soon as they come back, not after he's been told by multiple people.

[00:27:11] And the fact-checking after.

[00:27:13] Like, if Tiana had come clean and really, like, put it all out there and kind of acted like, okay, she was going to maybe do that anyway.

[00:27:19] She didn't find the right moment.

[00:27:20] And then she tells him the truth.

[00:27:22] Like, I think he would have been more receptive.

[00:27:23] But it seemed like to him, he was like, well, he goes to Sue.

[00:27:26] And she's like, well, that's none of that's true.

[00:27:28] Then he's like, well, that's the worst apology ever.

[00:27:30] You just lied to me more.

[00:27:31] Like, yeah.

[00:27:33] But kudos to Gabe for locking this, Sue.

[00:27:36] Because that was his best acquisition.

[00:27:38] Or that's the best relationship that I have seen pre-merge.

[00:27:43] Dare I say?

[00:27:45] New era.

[00:27:48] That's a lot.

[00:27:48] That's a hot take.

[00:27:49] But that's aggressive.

[00:27:52] Tell me who's more loyal than Sue.

[00:27:55] Huh?

[00:27:56] Who's more loyal?

[00:27:58] Name me a more loyal, loyal, loyal, or.

[00:28:02] Name me.

[00:28:06] Okay.

[00:28:07] As far as duos go, I think there's been more.

[00:28:09] They also haven't got a tribal a lot.

[00:28:11] So it's hard to really tell.

[00:28:12] I mean, I think of like a Shannon Ricard pre-merge.

[00:28:21] Wasn't they fighting over the idol pre-merge?

[00:28:24] Or fighting over the thing pre-merge?

[00:28:27] I don't think so.

[00:28:29] Maybe.

[00:28:30] I think of like a Danny and Deshaun.

[00:28:32] Okay.

[00:28:33] All right.

[00:28:34] They were locked in.

[00:28:36] All right, Bryce.

[00:28:38] Okay.

[00:28:39] I think of like a Charlie and a Maria pre-merge.

[00:28:42] Sorry, Bryce.

[00:28:43] How did that work out?

[00:28:45] I mean, we'll see how your best do of all time works out.

[00:28:50] Give him a couple weeks.

[00:28:52] I ain't mad.

[00:28:54] Yeah, but to me, again, like to put a pin in this is like,

[00:28:59] Tiana should have known this was going to be something that comes up one way or another.

[00:29:04] Here's another thing, right?

[00:29:06] Because I keep saying maybe Tiana's so oblivious, right?

[00:29:09] What if there's a world where she's not oblivious?

[00:29:13] She dropped the perfect bomb because it's like, I can make up or do whatever with Gabe.

[00:29:17] But this information out there now, it's like Sierra and Sam.

[00:29:23] It's like, oh, okay.

[00:29:25] But saying something like that, you saw all of their reactions.

[00:29:28] Yeah, true.

[00:29:29] True.

[00:29:31] And also, here's another thing.

[00:29:32] Sam was pissing me off.

[00:29:34] Okay.

[00:29:35] Sam was giving me a lifetime movie actor because Sierra.

[00:29:43] And then there's like, yeah, Gabe found an idol.

[00:29:46] Sam was like, he found an idol already?

[00:29:51] Like, Sam, don't you got it?

[00:29:53] Like, Sam, you got an idol.

[00:29:56] There's idols out there.

[00:29:59] It's like, yeah, they already was funny because it's been like 10 days at this point.

[00:30:03] So yeah, they're out there, man.

[00:30:06] I didn't even think of that.

[00:30:09] Jane Idol?

[00:30:10] What's that?

[00:30:12] I wonder if that Lady Lisa, I mean, Sierra, or my tribe is finding those.

[00:30:21] Might as well start looking.

[00:30:25] At our beaches?

[00:30:28] Here?

[00:30:32] Was that that noise we heard on daytime?

[00:30:35] Dude by the Rocks?

[00:30:40] Yeah.

[00:30:43] Let's see.

[00:30:44] What else?

[00:30:44] What else?

[00:30:45] What else?

[00:30:46] Another interesting thing, though, when Sal got back to camp and kind of like...

[00:30:58] Sal.

[00:31:01] Sal.

[00:31:02] Soul?

[00:31:03] Soul.

[00:31:04] But is it Soul?

[00:31:05] I think it's Soul.

[00:31:09] I think it's Soul.

[00:31:09] Yeah, but at least...

[00:31:10] I think it's Soul.

[00:31:11] Because I know pre-season that he was making jokes about, like, Soul Survivor or whatever.

[00:31:16] Okay.

[00:31:17] Okay.

[00:31:18] But maybe it's Saul.

[00:31:20] Maybe it's Saul.

[00:31:20] Saul.

[00:31:22] Saul.

[00:31:23] Saul.

[00:31:23] Like, Saul.

[00:31:23] That's what I said.

[00:31:24] At least it's Saul.

[00:31:26] Saul.

[00:31:27] Saul.

[00:31:28] Saul.

[00:31:28] Like a towel, but a Saul.

[00:31:31] Saul.

[00:31:31] Saul.

[00:31:32] Saul.

[00:31:34] Saul.

[00:31:36] Saul.

[00:31:37] Not even that, but like Rome coming back and being like, wow, Teenie.

[00:31:44] And Teenie's like, I didn't have a vote.

[00:31:45] I couldn't do anything.

[00:31:46] And Rome's like, well, you still could have told me.

[00:31:51] But I thought Teenie played it off.

[00:31:53] I mean, I wasn't mad at how she kind of maneuvered it a little bit, though.

[00:31:58] I was like, okay.

[00:32:00] Yeah.

[00:32:00] That was interesting.

[00:32:01] I was going to ask you guys the same thing because I was like,

[00:32:04] she got put on the bottom and then gets put on the spot.

[00:32:08] But I think a reasonable answer is like, look, I wasn't here.

[00:32:12] I didn't come up with the plan, obviously.

[00:32:13] I was gone.

[00:32:15] And then I get back and even if Genevieve's there, you'd be like,

[00:32:18] Genevieve and Keyshawn told me the plan.

[00:32:21] And that's all the votes that they needed.

[00:32:23] So I thought, I was like, what am I supposed to do?

[00:32:27] Even if I come tell you, I can't change anything.

[00:32:30] So I think it's like a reasonable enough thing.

[00:32:33] And obviously her being on the journey is a great excuse because it's like,

[00:32:37] all right, well, you didn't hatch the plan.

[00:32:39] You weren't here.

[00:32:40] So Wendell, what did you think about it?

[00:32:47] That interaction kind of slipped my mind, how she played it off.

[00:32:53] But if you're explaining how it happened, then yeah, she did a great job.

[00:32:59] Well, I, you know, I didn't.

[00:33:02] Like I said on the R-Hap stage, when I was watching, I was sitting between a man with a cape on and a man dressed as Vice President Harris.

[00:33:13] So I was, I was between a lot of action and I wasn't locked into the whole episode.

[00:33:21] Shout out to Davey and Tevin.

[00:33:24] That's a good, that's a good combo.

[00:33:27] Yeah.

[00:33:27] Very valid.

[00:33:29] And then, yeah, there's, I guess the other thing about Lavo is just a lot of things are starting to get chaotic.

[00:33:34] Like Rome then tells Teenie that, or tells Saul about Teenie's idol.

[00:33:40] And then that gets back to, people are just kind of starting to turn on each other over at Lavo, which is really interesting.

[00:33:46] Because it's like, you know, even Genevieve a little bit, I think reacts reasonably to how Rome has started spilling information.

[00:33:53] But she did just make this move to save Rome.

[00:33:55] And you would kind of think, okay, now you guys are at the middle of the tribe.

[00:33:58] And you would want to keep Teenie and Saul, Saul, Saul.

[00:34:02] Now I'm messing.

[00:34:03] Yeah.

[00:34:03] I kind of had an arm's reach from each other.

[00:34:06] But, yeah, I mean.

[00:34:08] My, my, my, what a difference seven hours can make.

[00:34:12] Because now Rome is on the beach with Saul.

[00:34:17] Talking about, I don't know how far I could go with Teenie.

[00:34:20] I'd rather work with you.

[00:34:22] Like, what?

[00:34:24] Like, this can't be.

[00:34:26] And, but I mean, like you said, now Rome is dropping gems.

[00:34:30] Like, Genevieve doesn't want to go that far with you.

[00:34:33] She won't go far with Teenie.

[00:34:35] Like, Rome, what are you doing?

[00:34:37] But I understand what he's doing.

[00:34:38] He's trying to, like, I think he understands after kind of getting the carpet pulled up under him.

[00:34:44] Is that I need to work with people.

[00:34:46] But I need one up on people.

[00:34:48] Right?

[00:34:48] Like, so let me just drop this little nugget on you.

[00:34:51] And now you're with us.

[00:34:52] But I got you.

[00:34:53] But the problem is.

[00:34:54] And we've seen that literally unfold last episode with Keyshawn.

[00:34:59] Like, you got to be consistent with these stories and how you tell them because people talk.

[00:35:05] Yeah.

[00:35:06] I think that's the thing is, like, he sort of threw Genevieve a little bit under the bus.

[00:35:11] And I think a big thing that we're learning, like you said with last episode, if you're going to start putting little targets on people, you got to make sure the people you're talking to are not closer with that person than you are with them.

[00:35:22] Because then they're just going to go talk about it and it's going to turn on to you.

[00:35:27] And how quick does it seem that he can turn on his allies or try to pick up new allies?

[00:35:33] It's like, man, you were literally bullying Saul across the whole beach a day or two ago.

[00:35:41] It's a testament to Saul's patience, too, because, like, we see how much Saul dislikes him and that now there's an opportunity.

[00:35:51] But it is funny, too, with Rome.

[00:35:52] We even saw in episode one.

[00:35:54] He's like, OK, I want to make this person my ally.

[00:35:57] Let me tell them everything I know that has happened at all.

[00:36:00] And it's like, maybe this isn't the right ally to be making.

[00:36:04] So now you're just spilling so much about.

[00:36:07] And I think the idea that he has of like, OK, if I give them information, they'll trust me is reasonable.

[00:36:13] But it's just like a little bit like goes from zero to 100 real quick.

[00:36:18] So something else that Saul did that made me feel like he's just.

[00:36:24] Playing the game with Rome is when he went to Genevieve.

[00:36:26] Right.

[00:36:27] Like, because I was like, why tell her this?

[00:36:29] Like, why not hold on to this and see how you react?

[00:36:32] And it's like you don't even give her opportunity to lie.

[00:36:37] Right.

[00:36:37] Like, you're like, oh, man, I wanted to work with you.

[00:36:41] And Genevieve was like, we still can.

[00:36:45] Why?

[00:36:45] And he's like, well, Rome told me.

[00:36:47] And again, he sets it.

[00:36:49] First of all, you could tell Genevieve is a lawyer.

[00:36:51] OK, because the way that she immediately said.

[00:36:54] Like.

[00:36:56] Well, that's not what he told me.

[00:36:58] He told me to say like he just set it up for her to like knock it out the park and for Saul to believe it.

[00:37:08] I wish she would have like set a little bit more of a booby trap for her because the way he was like he was walking around the camp.

[00:37:19] Genevieve was like, what's wrong?

[00:37:22] Rome told me you don't want to work with me anymore.

[00:37:28] Jeff, he's like, no, he's lying.

[00:37:31] So but him even going to her for me is like, oh, OK, he's more connected with her than a Rome.

[00:37:38] Definitely.

[00:37:39] Yeah.

[00:37:40] Let's get into the immunity challenge.

[00:37:42] Lots of interesting stuff here.

[00:37:44] It starts off with this negotiation where Gata is offering up their chickens for some eggs because they have decided they don't want to kill the chickens and the eggs are not laying.

[00:37:58] And Jeff is pretty open to it.

[00:38:01] And they ask for 24 eggs and they get a tea, which I thought was really.

[00:38:08] As far as we see Jeff with negotiation, I thought it was really generous.

[00:38:14] And yeah, I'm just curious to hear your guys's thoughts about it.

[00:38:17] It's such a funny little moment.

[00:38:19] Yeah, I thought it was great.

[00:38:21] I would have.

[00:38:23] Give me 10.

[00:38:24] Let me keep a chicken.

[00:38:25] We're going.

[00:38:25] We're going to cook this chicken.

[00:38:28] I had some chicken and eggs.

[00:38:34] Like, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:38:36] I was trying to think if I've had chicken and eggs before.

[00:38:38] And I think I have.

[00:38:40] I think I've had like a biscuit with I don't know.

[00:38:43] Anyway, Jack, what's your preferred method of eggs?

[00:38:47] I'll go.

[00:38:48] It depends on like how like if I'm getting like a bacon, egg and cheese.

[00:38:52] I like a good fried.

[00:38:54] How about egg as a side, as a side?

[00:38:57] I'll go like scramble with cheese.

[00:38:59] That's a good one.

[00:39:01] That's a good omelet.

[00:39:02] I mean.

[00:39:02] Do you use any condiments on your eggs?

[00:39:05] A little hot sauce sometimes.

[00:39:07] Okay.

[00:39:08] Wendy Z, what's your egg of choice?

[00:39:10] Swing me.

[00:39:11] I'll do like some bacon, some potatoes.

[00:39:17] Your egg.

[00:39:18] Well done potatoes with peppers and onions on them.

[00:39:21] Fried onions.

[00:39:22] Okay.

[00:39:22] You know what I'm saying?

[00:39:23] I'm a real one.

[00:39:24] Let me get some.

[00:39:24] Okay.

[00:39:25] Fry them hard too.

[00:39:27] And then with that, you got to go with like two eggs over easy.

[00:39:33] So then you could kind of get the mix.

[00:39:35] You throw some hot sauce on the side.

[00:39:36] So then you can get the dippy.

[00:39:38] You know what I'm saying?

[00:39:39] Have the potato with the egg, with the yolk, with a little hot sauce, with the bacon.

[00:39:44] Chef's good.

[00:39:45] Yeah.

[00:39:45] I used to be a scrambled girl with cheese.

[00:39:49] But I think after having a million and one breakfasts with Wendy Z and CM dip to potatoes

[00:39:55] in the yolk, I'm an over easy, but I'm a ketchup girly.

[00:40:00] I didn't realize some people don't put ketchup on their eggs.

[00:40:04] When I was like six, I think I did.

[00:40:07] My parents used to not let us do that.

[00:40:10] Yeah.

[00:40:11] I don't.

[00:40:12] Like I've heard people say that.

[00:40:13] Like, oh, you can't put ketchup on their eggs.

[00:40:16] Why not?

[00:40:18] Nah.

[00:40:18] No, I think it's.

[00:40:19] I don't think it's.

[00:40:20] I can respect it.

[00:40:21] I mean, I love a, I love like a, on a burger, like a fried egg.

[00:40:25] And then, you know, you still get some ketchup on the burger too.

[00:40:28] It all blends.

[00:40:29] I don't know how I feel about the egg on a burger.

[00:40:32] I love it.

[00:40:33] I love a breakfast burger.

[00:40:35] A breakfast burger?

[00:40:36] What do you say?

[00:40:36] Like a bacon, egg, and cheese burger.

[00:40:39] With a burger on it?

[00:40:41] Yeah.

[00:40:41] It's like a bacon, egg, and cheese with, with a burger.

[00:40:44] Yeah.

[00:40:45] You guys remember that?

[00:40:46] Where are you from?

[00:40:48] The Cali.

[00:40:49] You've been about it all over the place.

[00:40:50] No.

[00:40:51] That calorie intake, that cholesterol has to be so high on that.

[00:40:55] Look, I'm going to stand my, all the last episodes where I've gotten some shit from you guys,

[00:41:01] all the comments end up being, Jack's right.

[00:41:04] And this time I, I, two comments don't count.

[00:41:08] Mark my words.

[00:41:09] I've heard of it.

[00:41:11] Mark my words.

[00:41:12] If Sue's 45, the breakfast burger is alive.

[00:41:17] No, sir.

[00:41:20] But, so do you eat it for breakfast or you just order a breakfast burger for dinner or lunch?

[00:41:25] Like, it's more like a lunch or a dinner.

[00:41:26] Okay.

[00:41:27] All right.

[00:41:27] I'll go see that.

[00:41:28] I've seen the burgers throw a fried egg on there, throw an avocado.

[00:41:31] I've seen those like kitchen sink burgers or whatever.

[00:41:34] Yeah.

[00:41:35] Yeah.

[00:41:35] That's like a breakfast burger.

[00:41:37] Like a breakfast burger sounds like you're ordering that at 9 a.m. at McDonald's.

[00:41:42] No, no.

[00:41:43] Or at the bakery or at Manhattan bagel.

[00:41:46] If you go to a restaurant and they have something like that, it's usually called like a breakfast

[00:41:49] burger.

[00:41:50] They don't have something like that.

[00:41:52] Well, I don't know what restaurants you're eating at.

[00:41:54] They don't have something like that on the breakfast menu.

[00:41:57] No.

[00:41:58] Yeah.

[00:41:58] They don't.

[00:41:59] But it's like there's some foods you have for dinner that are like kind of breakfast

[00:42:03] foods and it's like, oh, I'm getting a little silly.

[00:42:06] Like, I'm not saying you for breakfast.

[00:42:09] I'm just saying the research.

[00:42:13] A breakfast burger is a combination of a cheeseburger and a breakfast sandwich.

[00:42:16] It's a hamburger patty top with bacon, egg and cheese.

[00:42:21] Wait a minute.

[00:42:23] Hamburger with bacon, egg and cheese and egg.

[00:42:26] Bacon egg.

[00:42:27] You know what?

[00:42:28] A fried egg.

[00:42:29] Yeah.

[00:42:29] Bacon, egg and a fried egg.

[00:42:30] Okay.

[00:42:31] It sounds delicious.

[00:42:32] It sounds delicious.

[00:42:34] I would throw ketchup, mayo, hot sauce on that.

[00:42:37] A hundred percent.

[00:42:38] That's yeah.

[00:42:38] That's the move.

[00:42:39] A little salt, a little pepper.

[00:42:41] I'd even throw lettuce and tomato on that.

[00:42:44] I could do an onion on it.

[00:42:45] Put me a raw onion on it.

[00:42:48] But not a whole onion.

[00:42:49] Like just, just a little.

[00:42:51] Just a little.

[00:42:51] It really, it really functions well.

[00:42:54] Like, like a, you know, bacon cheeseburger.

[00:42:56] Cause like if you get the egg on there fried over easy, the yolk kind of is like a sauce

[00:43:01] itself and it has a little crispiness.

[00:43:05] That's probably, you had to probably take a big bite.

[00:43:09] Okay.

[00:43:12] Didn't see that one coming.

[00:43:15] Yeah.

[00:43:15] But, uh, yeah, I was just surprised Jeff gave him so many eggs.

[00:43:20] Uh, I think maybe he was like, they're being nice to the chickens.

[00:43:26] Like that's, that's honor, like admirable.

[00:43:29] So we'll be generous with, uh, like maybe they're trying to get the CEO award back.

[00:43:33] I don't know.

[00:43:34] Um, but the Q award, that Q money.

[00:43:41] Um, yeah, I was just, Jeff, you, why'd you start so high?

[00:43:49] Jeff, like Jeff, offer them four eggs, you know, really make them meet you somewhere.

[00:43:57] Yeah.

[00:43:58] Yeah.

[00:43:58] When he said five, I thought he meant five total.

[00:44:00] And then he said five per chicken.

[00:44:03] Yeah.

[00:44:04] But, um, anyway, the challenge.

[00:44:08] Well, I just love when they negotiate in general with Jeff.

[00:44:12] Cause sometimes you get nice Jeff and sometimes you get nasty Jeff.

[00:44:16] We got a nice Jeff this time.

[00:44:18] Absolutely.

[00:44:19] For sure.

[00:44:20] Challenge was interesting.

[00:44:21] Some really funny moments.

[00:44:22] Andy sawing with the wrong side of the saw and thrusting his hips while he did it was pretty hilarious.

[00:44:29] I don't know what it, Andy.

[00:44:36] Okay.

[00:44:37] There was a lot of, I mean, Andy.

[00:44:43] What does all that hip motion do to the saw?

[00:44:48] It helps the motion in the ocean.

[00:44:56] Bryce, are you the, are you the pole or are you the saw?

[00:44:59] I'm the role.

[00:45:01] Okay.

[00:45:04] Bust me open.

[00:45:08] Oh my gosh.

[00:45:12] Yeah.

[00:45:14] It was wild.

[00:45:16] And I think there he's doing with the wrong side of the blade.

[00:45:19] Yeah.

[00:45:20] Which is ridiculous.

[00:45:23] I also thought it was really interesting when they were throwing the bags,

[00:45:27] maybe a little bit of faulty challenge design when,

[00:45:29] when lava was were like halfway off, but they were kind of stuck.

[00:45:33] I was like, I don't.

[00:45:34] Yeah.

[00:45:34] There's a world where the blocks will be partly off and get stuck.

[00:45:38] And I think there's like nothing you can do about it.

[00:45:40] And that would be a really frustrating way to lose a challenge.

[00:45:44] Does that ever happen in basketball where the ball gets stuck on the back of the room?

[00:45:48] It's a wedgie.

[00:45:49] Yeah.

[00:45:50] It's sometimes we get stuck on the back of the room.

[00:45:52] The rim and the backboard.

[00:45:55] Yeah.

[00:45:56] It's just a jump ball, I think.

[00:46:00] But you could get it, you could get it down though.

[00:46:03] You know, if you got found.

[00:46:05] Yeah.

[00:46:06] True.

[00:46:06] True.

[00:46:09] But yeah.

[00:46:10] And then, you know,

[00:46:11] it ends up being a really close finish to the challenge, Wendell,

[00:46:14] where it's literally like Saul falls down as they're going to get on the mat.

[00:46:20] Part of us, I think we thought they're going to put that last piece down,

[00:46:24] run over and Gats is going to win.

[00:46:28] Yeah.

[00:46:29] It was a wire.

[00:46:31] Yeah.

[00:46:32] It was great to watch.

[00:46:33] It was great to see another,

[00:46:35] another close one.

[00:46:38] I loved when,

[00:46:40] this is the challenge when they had to,

[00:46:43] wait,

[00:46:44] was this the reward challenge when they had to throw the bricks at the thing?

[00:46:47] This was the immunity.

[00:46:49] Can we talk about,

[00:46:53] don't you leave Rome alone right now.

[00:46:56] Rome.

[00:46:59] He winded up his heart.

[00:47:01] He threw it at the thing.

[00:47:04] The wall said,

[00:47:07] the wall said,

[00:47:09] the wall said,

[00:47:12] now,

[00:47:14] let me also tell you something.

[00:47:16] If Andy didn't get the,

[00:47:17] the britches wet a little bit.

[00:47:20] Uh,

[00:47:20] hold on.

[00:47:21] Let me get this off.

[00:47:22] Uh,

[00:47:25] Oh yeah.

[00:47:26] You could,

[00:47:26] Saul probably has played some baseball.

[00:47:29] Yeah.

[00:47:30] So I wasn't playing out there.

[00:47:34] And my shoe also,

[00:47:36] now,

[00:47:36] you know,

[00:47:38] Saul,

[00:47:39] Saul,

[00:47:39] Rome hit it and it go.

[00:47:41] Rome.

[00:47:42] Saul is like,

[00:47:42] this is my opportunity.

[00:47:45] Watch this.

[00:47:47] You know,

[00:47:48] who else has an arm on them now?

[00:47:53] Samuel,

[00:47:54] Samuel,

[00:47:55] Samuel went up there with that.

[00:47:56] Sam,

[00:47:58] Sam could throw.

[00:47:59] Okay.

[00:48:00] My just will be so nasty.

[00:48:01] Sam said,

[00:48:06] he got that real baseball in them.

[00:48:09] What was that throw phrase?

[00:48:11] Well,

[00:48:11] I'm in a confined space,

[00:48:13] but I'm also left-handed.

[00:48:16] So it's hard for me anyway,

[00:48:18] because everything right-handed.

[00:48:21] So let's see.

[00:48:21] You can throw a baseball left-handed.

[00:48:24] Yeah.

[00:48:25] But they don't make a lot of right-handed gloves.

[00:48:29] No,

[00:48:30] you know what?

[00:48:30] No,

[00:48:30] I'm left-handed.

[00:48:31] So I would get a left-handed glove,

[00:48:33] but I'm so used to this right-handed world that I,

[00:48:38] like a right-handed glove.

[00:48:40] So I do throw on my left hand.

[00:48:41] That's what you're supposed to do.

[00:48:44] Bryce,

[00:48:44] do you ever use a left-handed baseball?

[00:48:49] Wait,

[00:48:51] I feel like Bryce has realized growing up playing baseball,

[00:48:54] he was throwing with the wrong arm.

[00:48:56] So no,

[00:48:57] I just remember they'd be like at gym class.

[00:49:00] They'd be like,

[00:49:00] are you left-handed?

[00:49:01] They would give me a left-handed glove.

[00:49:03] And when I would throw it,

[00:49:05] I'm like,

[00:49:05] this doesn't feel natural.

[00:49:07] That's not,

[00:49:08] that's right.

[00:49:09] That's not what you're supposed to do.

[00:49:10] If you're a left,

[00:49:11] you wear the glove on your meat,

[00:49:12] your opposite hand.

[00:49:14] And you don't throw it with the glove,

[00:49:16] with the hand and with the glove.

[00:49:19] I guess I get what you're saying.

[00:49:21] If you were in,

[00:49:21] if they,

[00:49:22] if you were in class

[00:49:22] and they maybe didn't have the other gloves

[00:49:25] and you had to do it.

[00:49:26] Right.

[00:49:26] So maybe that's what it was

[00:49:27] where I always had to do it

[00:49:28] where I felt a little unnatural,

[00:49:30] but.

[00:49:32] Whoa.

[00:49:33] See,

[00:49:34] it looks unnatural

[00:49:35] and you don't have a glove on.

[00:49:37] Okay.

[00:49:39] I don't have a ball.

[00:49:40] Okay.

[00:49:41] Well,

[00:49:43] I got to throw this muffin.

[00:49:45] Launch it.

[00:49:46] I'm going to set this up

[00:49:47] at the opposite end of my room

[00:49:48] and I'm going to,

[00:49:49] I'm going to snipe the computer.

[00:49:51] Let's see.

[00:49:52] Oh yeah.

[00:49:53] I'm going to knock this off.

[00:49:54] Jack,

[00:49:55] you have to hit the exact dot

[00:49:56] on the computer.

[00:49:57] I used to pitch a little bit.

[00:49:59] So.

[00:50:00] You got to stand by the door.

[00:50:04] I'm going to knock my,

[00:50:05] I'm going to put pillows down behind

[00:50:06] and taste my computer.

[00:50:07] Hold on.

[00:50:08] Hold on.

[00:50:08] All right.

[00:50:08] Cool.

[00:50:10] Is this wrong with BC?

[00:50:12] Yo,

[00:50:12] is he going to launch something

[00:50:15] at his computer?

[00:50:17] Not a muffin.

[00:50:18] What's up with you?

[00:50:19] You got it,

[00:50:20] Jack.

[00:50:20] You got it.

[00:50:21] What is,

[00:50:21] let's go,

[00:50:22] Jack.

[00:50:24] Oh,

[00:50:26] Oh,

[00:50:27] Oh,

[00:50:27] Oh,

[00:50:27] Oh,

[00:50:27] Oh,

[00:50:27] Oh,

[00:50:27] Oh,

[00:50:27] Oh,

[00:50:28] Oh,

[00:50:29] Try it again.

[00:50:30] Try it again.

[00:50:31] That's not a three.

[00:50:32] Wait,

[00:50:33] why is he?

[00:50:34] It was like,

[00:50:35] it was like this much like above.

[00:50:37] Oh,

[00:50:37] we know if it hits.

[00:50:40] Why is he trying this so hard?

[00:50:42] He's going to break his computer.

[00:50:46] Let's see it,

[00:50:47] Jack.

[00:50:48] Oh,

[00:50:49] you still missed.

[00:50:50] One more time,

[00:50:50] buddy.

[00:50:51] One more time.

[00:50:54] You got closer that time.

[00:50:56] A little bit.

[00:50:57] You might want to use a water bottle.

[00:51:01] What do you mean?

[00:51:03] Oh,

[00:51:03] you want to throw a water bottle?

[00:51:05] Yeah.

[00:51:05] You want to throw a water bottle?

[00:51:07] No.

[00:51:08] Okay.

[00:51:09] The hotel TV is behind my computer.

[00:51:11] So I didn't.

[00:51:12] Use the muffin.

[00:51:13] Yeah.

[00:51:13] But that's not what you're supposed to be aiming for,

[00:51:15] Jack.

[00:51:16] Also,

[00:51:16] time out.

[00:51:17] Before you go,

[00:51:17] Jack,

[00:51:19] go ahead.

[00:51:20] What's up?

[00:51:21] I was going to say,

[00:51:22] you're almost touching the ceiling.

[00:51:24] That's something probably Rome has never experienced.

[00:51:29] Here it goes.

[00:51:33] Jack,

[00:51:34] you got to try it one more time.

[00:51:35] All right.

[00:51:37] Hey,

[00:51:37] Bryce.

[00:51:38] The thing is,

[00:51:38] I've been hitting the TV so I can show you where I hit on the TV.

[00:51:41] Oh,

[00:51:42] okay.

[00:51:46] He said he was a baseball player.

[00:51:47] Okay.

[00:51:48] Just,

[00:51:49] just not,

[00:51:49] just not.

[00:51:50] Oh!

[00:51:53] Yo,

[00:51:54] I felt like it hit me in the face.

[00:51:57] Okay.

[00:51:57] So,

[00:51:58] well,

[00:51:59] this is the level I've been on and then this is the TV.

[00:52:02] Wait,

[00:52:02] hold on.

[00:52:02] That's like a,

[00:52:03] well,

[00:52:03] Jack,

[00:52:03] that's,

[00:52:04] that's the whole point of a target.

[00:52:07] So I don't even know what I'm showing you.

[00:52:10] So this is where I just hit on the TV.

[00:52:14] Which is like the same.

[00:52:16] And then I hit up here a couple of times.

[00:52:19] Oh.

[00:52:20] Jack,

[00:52:20] but,

[00:52:20] but,

[00:52:21] Hey,

[00:52:22] Bryce.

[00:52:23] But yeah,

[00:52:23] I started every game as a pitcher in my middle school baseball team.

[00:52:26] It's no big deal.

[00:52:28] Hey,

[00:52:28] Jack,

[00:52:28] did you rent the Airbnb or did your dad?

[00:52:31] My dad.

[00:52:33] Hey,

[00:52:33] Bryce.

[00:52:34] This is a hotel.

[00:52:35] Oh,

[00:52:35] the hotel.

[00:52:36] Pops is not getting a deposit back.

[00:52:38] Okay.

[00:52:39] They keeping that $400.

[00:52:41] Okay.

[00:52:42] No,

[00:52:42] no.

[00:52:43] People are going to be like,

[00:52:43] why?

[00:52:44] Do the TV smell like a blueberry muffin?

[00:52:48] They could be in there licking the TV.

[00:52:51] Somebody go come in like,

[00:52:52] what you doing?

[00:52:55] It's all better now.

[00:52:58] All right.

[00:52:58] But I did enjoy,

[00:53:00] uh,

[00:53:02] Jack,

[00:53:02] you got an arm.

[00:53:04] Thank you.

[00:53:05] And that's not even,

[00:53:06] not even my hardest.

[00:53:09] The muffin's messed up though.

[00:53:11] Oh,

[00:53:11] the muffin's done.

[00:53:13] But sometimes those are the best when a muffin's like that.

[00:53:15] You just open them.

[00:53:16] You just.

[00:53:16] Humbled up.

[00:53:17] Yeah.

[00:53:18] Have y'all ever done this?

[00:53:20] Turn the muffin into a parfait.

[00:53:22] You take the muffin,

[00:53:23] you throw it in a bowl.

[00:53:24] You take the,

[00:53:24] the yogurt,

[00:53:26] put it on top,

[00:53:27] take the granola on top,

[00:53:28] and then add all the fruits and the berries.

[00:53:30] And do you eat that for breakfast?

[00:53:32] Or is that a different?

[00:53:34] The answer to that.

[00:53:35] That's definitely a breakfast.

[00:53:36] And it's next level.

[00:53:38] If you threw the muffin in the oven first.

[00:53:41] Ooh.

[00:53:43] It's like a little,

[00:53:44] uh,

[00:53:45] what's it called?

[00:53:47] Apple crumble or something.

[00:53:49] Yeah.

[00:53:49] It's like a muffin crumble.

[00:53:51] Oh yeah.

[00:53:52] A lunch muffin.

[00:53:54] Um,

[00:53:55] but anyways,

[00:53:56] so,

[00:53:57] so essentially got to loses this in a close one.

[00:54:02] And,

[00:54:03] um,

[00:54:03] they're going back to travel since the first travel council.

[00:54:06] And we get a lot of like interesting stuff that unfolds after this.

[00:54:09] I mean,

[00:54:09] the,

[00:54:10] the basic story is that Andy's playing up that he's the target.

[00:54:14] He knows it.

[00:54:15] He's trying to bait Annika and Rachel into like,

[00:54:18] believing that he knows he's a target.

[00:54:20] And Sam is essentially trying to convince Sierra to keep Andy.

[00:54:25] Cause they trust,

[00:54:26] he trusts him more.

[00:54:27] It doesn't trust Annika.

[00:54:29] And,

[00:54:30] um,

[00:54:31] there's also this uncertainty of like,

[00:54:33] should he play his idol?

[00:54:35] Because if,

[00:54:36] he doesn't know about it,

[00:54:37] but they keep Andy,

[00:54:38] then it could betray his trust a little bit.

[00:54:42] Uh,

[00:54:43] yeah,

[00:54:43] there's a lot of dynamics.

[00:54:45] Shaking out here.

[00:54:46] Like,

[00:54:47] what do you guys like?

[00:54:49] What,

[00:54:49] before we get to travel,

[00:54:50] like what,

[00:54:50] what's kind of your read of this situation?

[00:54:52] It is so interesting.

[00:54:55] How.

[00:54:57] How.

[00:54:57] How.

[00:54:57] Telephone comes back in to play,

[00:55:01] right?

[00:55:01] Because of Annika going on that journey and spilling that tea and then telling the people that they picked up on it.

[00:55:10] But then when Sam went over there and they said that they were a thing,

[00:55:17] it's just so interesting how,

[00:55:18] like,

[00:55:18] when people say words matter,

[00:55:21] right?

[00:55:21] Words really matter.

[00:55:22] And so,

[00:55:23] just switching up,

[00:55:25] just lying.

[00:55:26] Like,

[00:55:26] I almost feel like people telling that information,

[00:55:29] like them saying that,

[00:55:31] uh,

[00:55:31] they heard that Sierra and whatever were a thing.

[00:55:34] That could have just been somewhat made up and look at the damage that it could have caused.

[00:55:39] Uh,

[00:55:39] although my girl Annika did say that,

[00:55:42] it just is so interesting.

[00:55:44] Like,

[00:55:44] I really feel like the next level of survivor play in this new era is like,

[00:55:49] I feel like anybody that's listening.

[00:55:52] Go out there and lie.

[00:55:53] Go out there and lie.

[00:55:55] But like,

[00:55:55] you don't have to make up these ex,

[00:55:57] ex,

[00:55:58] ex,

[00:55:58] ex,

[00:55:58] ex exuberant,

[00:55:59] exuberant lies.

[00:56:00] You can literally just say,

[00:56:01] if Jack is telling you something,

[00:56:04] you could just say,

[00:56:04] well,

[00:56:06] we heard.

[00:56:07] And stuff like,

[00:56:08] because that ultimately put doubt in Annika with her tribe.

[00:56:12] Although we know Sam and Annika weren't really good and Sam and Sierra are a thing,

[00:56:16] but it just was so interesting.

[00:56:17] Like literally,

[00:56:18] literally the game of telephone and a boomerang kind of coming back around to kind of like illuminate this target on Annika.

[00:56:25] And this is the season for it.

[00:56:27] I love how they keep on set,

[00:56:29] sending these different combos away,

[00:56:30] or now we're going to send a bigger group away.

[00:56:33] I think they should keep this stuff up this season.

[00:56:35] So we can look at this season as that,

[00:56:38] like,

[00:56:38] this is the season of different arrangements where you're sharing different things and it's telephone and it's going back and it's changing the game.

[00:56:50] Yeah.

[00:56:50] I really liked what Andy did here.

[00:56:52] Yes.

[00:56:53] He's slowly,

[00:56:54] but kind of,

[00:56:54] you know,

[00:56:55] really worked his way back into the mix.

[00:56:57] Before I guess we get,

[00:57:02] so I don't know,

[00:57:04] like looking at this from Sam's perspective,

[00:57:06] because he's kind of put in here as like the figurehead of this move,

[00:57:09] the one making it happen.

[00:57:11] And I'm so torn.

[00:57:13] And like,

[00:57:15] and Sam's going to become someone I've been rooting for this season.

[00:57:19] And,

[00:57:20] um,

[00:57:21] I just don't like my first reaction actually with this move was that I didn't like it.

[00:57:26] And I think that might be a hot take.

[00:57:29] And I don't know a hundred percent that that's how I feel about it,

[00:57:32] but basically would jump to my mind.

[00:57:35] And I'm,

[00:57:35] I'm curious what you guys think about this is,

[00:57:37] you know,

[00:57:38] Sam's going to be a big target when they go into the marriage.

[00:57:40] Like he's a big guy.

[00:57:41] People have heard he's been running the show with Sierra.

[00:57:44] Right.

[00:57:45] And him and Sierra make him kind of strong arming Sierra into making this move,

[00:57:51] going into the merge.

[00:57:51] Rachel's going to go confirm to everybody that Sam and Sierra are running the tribe.

[00:57:56] Cause they just blindsided her.

[00:57:58] Uh,

[00:57:59] and you know,

[00:57:59] Sam,

[00:58:00] obviously I think it's good for him to keep Andy around.

[00:58:02] Cause that's somebody he's more connected to than Annika.

[00:58:04] But I think for someone of his,

[00:58:06] uh,

[00:58:06] perception in a way,

[00:58:08] it's actually kind of good to,

[00:58:09] to make moves that make you look weaker.

[00:58:11] And so I was thinking he should totally go with the girls because now he gets to the merge.

[00:58:18] He could push,

[00:58:19] okay,

[00:58:19] the girls are running the tribe.

[00:58:20] I'm the one who's been brought along.

[00:58:23] It's not me and Sierra running things because I actually maybe wanted to,

[00:58:26] Andy to stay.

[00:58:27] And that didn't happen.

[00:58:29] And now it's,

[00:58:30] he's going to look like much less of a target because those girls are a strong group and he's going to be seen as an outsider that maybe people can pick up.

[00:58:38] But now he's,

[00:58:38] he's seen at the core.

[00:58:39] And I also,

[00:58:41] this is something that Xander kind of talked to me about during his season is that Xander sort of intentionally wanted to work with the girls.

[00:58:48] I don't know if you remember on his season,

[00:58:50] you know,

[00:58:50] they vote out Abraham,

[00:58:51] they vote out Boche and he's the last guy standing.

[00:58:55] A,

[00:58:55] because early on,

[00:58:57] you know,

[00:58:57] the merge is a little bit more imminent.

[00:58:59] So it might not be as,

[00:58:59] as pertinent right now,

[00:59:03] but with a lot of these physical challenges,

[00:59:05] if you're the only guy left,

[00:59:06] you're actually going to be seen as more of an asset to your tribe because they're going to need some of that brute strength.

[00:59:11] And the guys tend to have a little bit more of that brute strength.

[00:59:16] And I also think,

[00:59:18] sorry to go on about this a little bit.

[00:59:19] I just have like a lot of thoughts on it.

[00:59:21] I also think a lot of times in survivor,

[00:59:24] the gender balance will sort of ultimately correct itself as the season goes on.

[00:59:30] And we've seen this season,

[00:59:31] a lot of men have gone home early.

[00:59:33] It's one of,

[00:59:34] I think two seasons where two men were the first two out and then Asia went.

[00:59:39] But then we also had Keyshawn go last episode.

[00:59:42] And,

[00:59:42] you know,

[00:59:43] if,

[00:59:43] if,

[00:59:44] if,

[00:59:45] Andy were to go this episode,

[00:59:46] Sam would be one of five men left out of,

[00:59:49] you know,

[00:59:49] 13 people.

[00:59:51] And I think that would make him as there's fewer men.

[00:59:55] I think they become less of a target just generally because it's sort of like a natural balancing act that happens.

[01:00:00] And so by taking out Andy,

[01:00:02] I think that would also lessen Sam's target,

[01:00:04] which I think for him,

[01:00:05] how we've seen him portrayed very important now.

[01:00:09] Like,

[01:00:09] and we've seen other seasons where like millennials versus gen X comes to mind,

[01:00:14] where I think they went into the merge.

[01:00:16] It was like nine men and four women.

[01:00:18] And all four of those women.

[01:00:21] So I think Michelle Schubert was the merge boot.

[01:00:52] And then after those nine men and three women,

[01:00:54] pull a little bit and give her that confidence and not make her feel like maybe you're,

[01:00:58] because this move I think is,

[01:00:59] is very close.

[01:01:00] Right.

[01:01:00] I don't think there's a definite wrong or right move.

[01:01:03] So let's see her and make the decision.

[01:01:04] And then down the line,

[01:01:05] like at the merge,

[01:01:06] maybe then you pull out the cards.

[01:01:08] Like I let you send Andy home.

[01:01:09] And like,

[01:01:09] I think this is the move that we need to do now.

[01:01:11] And maybe she'll be a little bit more willing to do that.

[01:01:13] But I think Sam want to take a little bit too much control here.

[01:01:16] And I think in the moment executed very well.

[01:01:18] Great move,

[01:01:19] but I worry going into the merge,

[01:01:21] the repercussions that I can have.

[01:01:23] Yeah.

[01:01:24] And that has me thinking,

[01:01:25] Jack,

[01:01:25] right.

[01:01:25] It is in this new era and maybe specifically with this season,

[01:01:29] I'm sure we could quote other seasons,

[01:01:32] but it's the perception,

[01:01:34] right?

[01:01:35] Like most people are building this big resume for the end,

[01:01:39] but like how you just explain what Sam could have done,

[01:01:42] right.

[01:01:42] Given the fact that,

[01:01:43] you know,

[01:01:43] there's a target with you and Sierra,

[01:01:45] right?

[01:01:46] Like why not play to the fact of let these women or let these ladies,

[01:01:52] like take the lead.

[01:01:53] So when I get to the merge,

[01:01:54] not only can I change the perception,

[01:01:56] I could literally utilize that to propel myself,

[01:02:00] but it is.

[01:02:01] I don't think that it's a perception that people think about.

[01:02:05] When you think about people going into the merge,

[01:02:06] you think about being tribe strong.

[01:02:08] You think about these things,

[01:02:09] you think about these moves,

[01:02:10] you don't really see a lot of people trying to minimize or lessen their

[01:02:15] strength.

[01:02:17] Perception of the merge.

[01:02:18] I think that's a great strategy.

[01:02:20] And I think it's like very pertinent on this season because it is so much

[01:02:25] about perception and not only perception,

[01:02:27] the little bit of tidbits that you get,

[01:02:29] then you take it back because once they all come merge,

[01:02:33] it's like now we're forming a new society.

[01:02:36] So that,

[01:02:37] I don't know.

[01:02:37] Have you ever thought about that before?

[01:02:39] Or am I just sounding crazy?

[01:02:41] No,

[01:02:43] I'm with you.

[01:02:43] Like,

[01:02:44] I think it's good to go in as kind of a free agent because all these tribes are

[01:02:47] going to go to battle and they're going to pick up the people they think might be a

[01:02:50] little bit on the outs.

[01:02:51] And sometimes being an actual free agent is bad because we see like the

[01:02:56] mergatory and sometimes it's like,

[01:02:58] Oh,

[01:02:58] well,

[01:02:59] Wendell's not connected to anybody.

[01:03:00] Like he could be an easy option.

[01:03:03] And that like just,

[01:03:04] but,

[01:03:04] and,

[01:03:05] but I think here Sam can have that perception as being more of a free agent and

[01:03:09] not being as attached to Sierra because the girls are the ones controlling

[01:03:12] things.

[01:03:12] But in reality,

[01:03:13] he would have some really tight bonds.

[01:03:15] He would also maintain bonds with Rachel and Annika,

[01:03:19] presumably by going with this plan.

[01:03:21] So he would be close with this whole group,

[01:03:23] but he would be seen as the one who's on the outside.

[01:03:25] And I think that would open up a lot of options for that.

[01:03:29] that's a,

[01:03:31] I don't,

[01:03:31] for me,

[01:03:32] that's very nuanced,

[01:03:33] right?

[01:03:34] Like I,

[01:03:35] it's,

[01:03:37] that's a lot.

[01:03:38] Okay.

[01:03:38] Me,

[01:03:39] I was thinking about make it to day four.

[01:03:43] It is,

[01:03:43] it is like,

[01:03:44] it's not just,

[01:03:45] it's,

[01:03:45] it's just very nuanced in general.

[01:03:47] Like there's a lot of things to weigh and it's one of those things that

[01:03:50] it's a gray area,

[01:03:51] right?

[01:03:52] There's not really a right or a wrong play here.

[01:03:55] Sam,

[01:03:56] there was also benefit that you see,

[01:03:57] you know,

[01:03:57] Sam keeping Andy over Annika's leaving someone in the game.

[01:04:00] That's going to be a lot closer to him and that could pay off in its own

[01:04:03] way.

[01:04:04] So that's just why I thought this was just an interesting dilemma because

[01:04:07] there's so many like layers to it.

[01:04:09] And especially that gap,

[01:04:11] like you said,

[01:04:11] Bryce thinking about,

[01:04:12] okay,

[01:04:12] you're pre-merged now and you're trying to think about things that will

[01:04:15] happen once the merge hits with people that you don't even really

[01:04:19] know yet.

[01:04:19] Right.

[01:04:20] It's like,

[01:04:20] how do you really plan according?

[01:04:22] I don't know.

[01:04:22] What,

[01:04:23] I don't mean to steam.

[01:04:25] What do you think about the whole?

[01:04:28] No,

[01:04:28] I think the way that you looked at it would have been,

[01:04:30] would have been a really good way to look at it.

[01:04:32] But I also think,

[01:04:33] I remember like some conversations that Annika and Sam had where it seemed

[01:04:38] like she might've been rubbing him the wrong way or bossing him the wrong

[01:04:40] way or something like that.

[01:04:41] And I just think Sam was ready to make this move.

[01:04:44] I think like he was ready to bust this move because like,

[01:04:47] yo,

[01:04:49] and Annika is a strong woman and she,

[01:04:51] she says,

[01:04:52] speaks her mind and she like,

[01:04:54] she runs stuff.

[01:04:55] She's a boss.

[01:04:56] So like,

[01:04:58] I could see a world where a Sam wouldn't like how she would like tell him to

[01:05:03] like move things around or build things.

[01:05:05] And like,

[01:05:06] he's like,

[01:05:06] all right,

[01:05:07] I'm gonna have to,

[01:05:08] when I get a clear shot,

[01:05:11] I'm shooting this shot.

[01:05:14] Yeah.

[01:05:15] I guess that's kind of what it boils down to.

[01:05:17] And from Sam's perspective in the moment,

[01:05:18] it makes sense of being like,

[01:05:20] okay,

[01:05:20] well I'm close with Andy and I'm not close with Annika.

[01:05:24] The obvious move is to keep Andy.

[01:05:26] And I think there's a lot of merit to that too.

[01:05:28] So yeah.

[01:05:29] And we know that no matter what,

[01:05:31] from last episode with Andy bringing Sam,

[01:05:34] that there is the breadwinner Alliance.

[01:05:35] There's no,

[01:05:36] like he wants to lessen that Alliance.

[01:05:38] And so it's like,

[01:05:39] he's going to push with Sierra with that to ensure that someone like an

[01:05:43] Annika goes home.

[01:05:44] And it kind of almost as much as I love my girl,

[01:05:47] Sierra,

[01:05:48] I almost wonder.

[01:05:51] Could have,

[01:05:52] would have been the right move.

[01:05:53] If the breadwinners would have targeted Sam.

[01:05:56] Like I wonder for Sierra's,

[01:05:58] because I really feel like in Sierra's game,

[01:06:00] this move will be a pivotal move.

[01:06:02] And how she does in the end of the game.

[01:06:05] So I really do want to come back to this because I really do feel like

[01:06:08] whatever happens with Sierra.

[01:06:10] I feel like this move right here is all going to come back to this.

[01:06:13] I think it actually could benefit Sierra in a lot of ways though,

[01:06:16] too.

[01:06:16] Like I still think Sierra is in a great position.

[01:06:18] Oh yeah.

[01:06:18] She's,

[01:06:19] I got to wrap up,

[01:06:20] but I do want to say like tribal was interesting.

[01:06:23] A Sam not playing his idol.

[01:06:25] Now maybe you can use it as a fake.

[01:06:27] Also,

[01:06:28] I've seen a lot of talk about Annika's reaction to this blind side.

[01:06:32] Firstly,

[01:06:32] I loved it.

[01:06:33] It was,

[01:06:33] it was spicy.

[01:06:34] It was real.

[01:06:36] And I think if I was in her shoes,

[01:06:38] I'd be the same way.

[01:06:39] And I,

[01:06:40] I think that's like a sharpness to the,

[01:06:43] to the game and to her gameplay that,

[01:06:45] and especially in the new era,

[01:06:47] we,

[01:06:47] I want to see more of that.

[01:06:48] I want to see people get better when they get voted out,

[01:06:50] especially before the merge.

[01:06:52] Cause it's like,

[01:06:52] I feel like she was already looking towards the end.

[01:06:54] It's like,

[01:06:55] and like y'all really like,

[01:06:57] it was just an honest reaction.

[01:07:00] I was sitting next to Jake O'Kane yesterday.

[01:07:02] And Jake said something to me was like,

[01:07:04] if you're not fired up or mad and you get voted out,

[01:07:07] like,

[01:07:08] I don't want to sit like,

[01:07:09] I don't care.

[01:07:12] Something like,

[01:07:13] as in like,

[01:07:14] as in like,

[01:07:14] you better be pissed.

[01:07:16] Right.

[01:07:16] That you're getting voted out.

[01:07:18] Like,

[01:07:19] yeah.

[01:07:20] But also like,

[01:07:21] you could be pissed and,

[01:07:22] and like,

[01:07:23] you know,

[01:07:25] viewers want to see you pissed.

[01:07:27] Yes.

[01:07:28] But in my case,

[01:07:29] like,

[01:07:29] I'm not sure.

[01:07:30] I'm not going to flip stuff.

[01:07:31] I'm going to be like,

[01:07:32] they got me.

[01:07:34] I mean,

[01:07:34] I take it on the chin,

[01:07:36] you know,

[01:07:36] you take your wins and losses.

[01:07:38] Yeah.

[01:07:39] Yeah.

[01:07:39] And I think it's,

[01:07:41] it's a fine line.

[01:07:41] Cause you don't want to be like an ass about it.

[01:07:43] But I think in Anika's case too,

[01:07:45] it makes sense why she's a little bit,

[01:07:46] I think when it makes the most sense to be pissed is when things to you

[01:07:50] don't really make sense.

[01:07:52] Like why they added,

[01:07:53] like to me,

[01:07:53] if I'm Anika and I'm so tight with Sierra and I feel like Anika was super

[01:07:57] loyal to Sierra.

[01:07:58] I'd be like,

[01:07:59] well,

[01:08:00] like,

[01:08:00] why did you even do that?

[01:08:01] It doesn't,

[01:08:02] it's like,

[01:08:03] I had your back.

[01:08:04] Like,

[01:08:04] why would you take,

[01:08:05] like,

[01:08:05] that's,

[01:08:05] that's annoying.

[01:08:06] But,

[01:08:07] but sometimes when you're in a position of a Sierra and you are playing both

[01:08:11] sides of the fence,

[01:08:12] you got to draw your stake on what side of the fence that you are.

[01:08:17] Oh,

[01:08:17] agree.

[01:08:17] I don't have any problem with Sierra making the move like this.

[01:08:20] I'm just saying from Anika's perspective,

[01:08:21] she might be like,

[01:08:23] she didn't even know.

[01:08:24] Like,

[01:08:24] like,

[01:08:24] why would you do that?

[01:08:25] So.

[01:08:26] But I mean,

[01:08:27] Anika was a queen.

[01:08:28] Anika played a great game.

[01:08:29] I wish we'd have seen more of her.

[01:08:32] I thought that she really went in there like a boss.

[01:08:36] And I feel like I said,

[01:08:38] once I say it twice,

[01:08:39] the pre-merchers are the best.

[01:08:41] We,

[01:08:42] they scared.

[01:08:43] They don't want us to see us go far.

[01:08:45] So shout out to Queen Anna.

[01:08:48] Absolutely.

[01:08:49] Yes.

[01:08:50] Jack,

[01:08:50] are you about to go play a soccer game or something?

[01:08:52] Like,

[01:08:52] are you on the red team?

[01:08:54] Are you on,

[01:08:54] are you on Lava?

[01:08:56] Are you about to link up with Rome?

[01:09:00] Yeah,

[01:09:00] we're playing soccer,

[01:09:01] but Rome doesn't let me touch the field.

[01:09:04] I was going to say,

[01:09:05] as long as y'all aren't playing any throwing sport,

[01:09:07] then y'all,

[01:09:08] y'all should be good.

[01:09:09] Well,

[01:09:10] while Jack gets ready to go,

[01:09:11] this is a great episode.
