[00:07:20] Accountable she's not just one of the posse's that's like I love her everything you do we say something wrong

[00:07:25] May is in the DMs educating us showing us love. There was just shout out to may

[00:07:32] Happy belated birthday. Happy birthday. It was great to see her and I think we showed her a little love in return

[00:08:12] He's amazing. I think that he should be on the show

[00:08:14] I think that the love that he pours into us is much appreciated

[00:08:19] He's one of those characters if he was on the show, he would be one of those characters

[00:09:02] We I'll take a photo and at one of the stops at LA that you were at Jack

[00:09:08] You took a photo and Joey was like why does Jack get to take a photo?

[00:09:13] I was like, Joey you could take a photo go ahead

[00:09:15] I've got our photographer shout out to John Lee who was from Boston and

[00:09:20] Jack ever since LA actually, you know a jack is your fault because you took some solo photos in LA

[00:09:27] And Joey was like, why don't I get to take a solo photo?

[00:09:31] Jack ever since LA of inspiration

[00:09:43] But ever since then we can't

[00:10:56] There was a therapist that came to the bryce to win

[00:11:05] In the middle of the party however

[00:11:08] So shout out to Derek love Derek Frazier. He is my sis my brother. He is

[00:11:14] Amazing and I appreciate him so much because when I was ready to throw some hands

[00:11:21] Jack yeah, right

[00:11:24] Yeah, but he also was telling me that that's your brother and let it go and it worth it

[00:11:30] Let me just tell you this right a lover and a fighter. He's a lover and a fighter

[00:11:35] Jack, let me just tell you this. I we won't need to get into the particulars of the fight

[00:11:39] But when do I not gotten to a fight? I did nothing wrong

[00:11:45] I didn't I didn't do anything wrong. I was attacked

[00:11:49] verbally and

[00:11:53] So, you know for me if I'm a text I'm a leave right and so after I leave Jack

[00:12:02] I

[00:12:03] Receive a text message

[00:12:05] Because okay, so also let me just set the scene for you Jack. So we

[00:12:10] arrived together to the venue to set up and during the setup

[00:12:14] We got into a fight and so for me I said I gotta remove myself from situation

[00:12:20] So I call myself a Uber and I'm you know the second I got

[00:12:25] Yes, you know I did like get to a hot bath and so the second Jack

[00:12:29] I got to the hot bath the second not that I got to the hot bath the second I got in the Uber I

[00:12:35] Receive a message from Wendell

[00:12:37] So and we're not and we're in a heat of argument Jack Wendell texts me

[00:12:48] lol

[00:12:53] He thought he was slick this is how he responds he gives me the ha ha

[00:13:00] Because when the complaints I don't communicate effectively enough

[00:13:04] But shout out to Derek also I want to shout out to my girl Laura super she's from Boston

[00:13:10] She might have spilled the drink or window, bro. That's not his outfit my pants are in the wash right now Laura, but

[00:13:18] She's an original O.G. for me when I was on Kage on I went to Boston because my sister got married

[00:13:24] And I just happened to post on my Instagram story like I'm in Boston

[00:13:29] Laura pulled up with her family. They took me out like

[00:13:34] Yeah, shot some my girl Laura. She took my leg out. Yeah

[00:13:41] Jack this was a spilled drink like never

[00:13:45] We're breaking down we're breaking down the the the merch right and the like signs

[00:13:51] She puts a whole full drink full of ice and alcohol on top of our folded up

[00:13:59] Signage it's the like shakiest thing you could ever put it on. I'm on a chair not even touching the table

[00:14:04] I just stand up. I don't even touch the table

[00:14:07] This wobbly thing falls off and just takes my whole leg out my leg has been more wet

[00:14:13] Yeah, it was bad. It was bad. I heard Bryce hired to do that after the fight

[00:14:19] I mean listen, right? The funny thing about it was there she comes up the window with slight

[00:14:25] What why is your leg wet?

[00:14:28] She made her but me by her a drink

[00:14:32] Crazy

[00:15:40] His daughter they pulled up and surprised me Jack Jack. I am I

[00:15:46] Hate to admit it sometimes but as much as I love survivor, I've been falling in love with amazing race

[00:15:52] and

[00:15:54] When I saw Kevin walk through the door, I was like

[00:16:02] I mean the torch was excited and then when I saw his daughter. I was like

[00:16:08] I'm so confused right now

[00:16:12] So again shout out to the amazing race season 36 Kevin and Maya. I want to say Mary sorry

[00:16:20] Um, yeah, and also sorry listen the baby when is what so we won't just go a little talk talk talk talk talk talk

[00:16:27] Kevin and Mary went out early right and I think a part of what I love about survivor and what I love about the community that we're creating

[00:16:35] Is that doesn't matter?

[00:16:37] Where you go out at it doesn't matter if you're on

[00:16:40] Netflix the circle season 2 if you good people

[00:16:44] If you lose twice on Netflix the circle season

[00:16:48] Well, the floor is not lava, but I just love the fact that this was their first party and

[00:16:55] I did a preseason with them and I talked about them and I like I had very high hopes for them

[00:17:00] And they just never receive love like this like from just seeing people that want and that's what I want

[00:17:06] Brice and when to be all about it's like it doesn't matter where you come from doesn't matter

[00:17:10] How you place doesn't matter if you're the first merge boot doesn't matter if you are third out

[00:17:15] Doesn't matter if you don't know the difference between Revlon or Maybelline like it's a community that we can

[00:17:23] build support and uplift and

[00:17:26] If I could judge my time of what I had in Boston off of Mary and Kevin

[00:17:33] Jack first of all they came in so shy

[00:17:36] They left

[00:17:37] turnt

[00:17:39] Hey

[00:17:41] Yes, yeah, it was great to see them they were actually messaging Mary was messaging the Bryce and when page

[00:17:47] But Bryce doesn't always look at the messages

[00:17:50] So I'm responding to her the whole time like yeah come I said are the itinerary Bryce don't know she pops in and Bryce is shocked

[00:17:56] So that was a good one. That was really good

[00:18:02] I just was in the last week since the last episode not only did I see I saw both of the baby boys back on screen

[00:18:10] We had Wendell on the first episode ago. I thought it was a really really fun episode. I loved how self deprecating it was

[00:18:19] The first boot but fortunately

[00:18:22] What was show with the lawn the goat?

[00:18:26] And then oh

[00:18:32] And then I also saw Bryce appear on Club condo on

[00:18:37] Rha P with Chappelle Rob and that was a really fun episode you hit Rob with some

[00:18:42] Musical trivia. Okay. I was impressed

[00:18:46] That Rob perform granted you did hit it with woman crazy love Beyonce. I mean

[00:18:52] I could have gone that one. I was probably

[00:18:56] Come on. I mean, I know that but

[00:18:59] Like I'm glad that my lessons with Rob to get him ready for this moment

[00:19:04] But it is a bad look when you come off across come across as less

[00:19:09] Hip-hop culture than the Rob see so I gotta I gotta get in the lab and get ready for the next one

[00:19:15] But real quick Jack who you got Kate out or truth?

[00:19:20] Okay, cuz you are in LA

[00:19:23] Know in the easy I was at a show the other night when someone asked this as like a comedy show everyone said K-Dot and

[00:19:30] Did he win the fight the rap battle?

[00:19:33] Absolutely, but I personally like Drake's music more and I think Drake is just a funny guy now

[00:19:39] Are there some some allegations out there now?

[00:19:42] Alligations we just talking okay, right?

[00:19:45] Was I'm a Drake fan, but as far as the actual battle goes of course

[00:19:50] I think Kendrick wanted but you know I rock with you. I also think Drake so funny. He's just all over social media

[00:19:55] He's always on some funny stuff. So

[00:19:58] Me and my friends quote a lot of a lot of Drake references

[00:20:01] But we're not I mean Kendrick isn't in the in the pop culture space as far as like

[00:20:06] His personality goes as much is the battle over though. I think that's hope

[00:20:12] Let's hope it's over for Drake's sake

[00:20:18] Wendy we know you love Kendrick and we know you're a Kendrick fan, but like two weeks ago you were not singing the same tune

[00:21:05] But I do know from being friends with Wendell and being stuck in a car

[00:21:10] Countless hours like I do appreciate Kendrick's music and listen what I will say is

[00:21:30] I definitely was Kurt walking but listen, um, we just spent 20 minutes talking about just talking but

[00:22:23] So it was really cool for us to be walking in with Derek Frazier the son of smoking Joe Frazier and for him to see his pop

[00:24:30] You know, I love the college games because I played survivor u chicago back in my day

[00:24:35] Did we have any I remember someone that popped out to the bright dwp chicago

[00:24:46] They were at uh, they a couple of them were at chicago. I believe they have started uh

[00:24:52] I forget the name of it. But yes, they were there. We had uh some alum

[00:24:57] Uh, uh, we're gonna get voted out with an idol

[00:25:00] Uh, uh, I I did my time with that back in survivor chicago. So I know how it goes

[00:25:10] I remember those days talking to you and I remember where you were like in it in it

[00:25:14] It was a lot. Uh, and so shout out to that and again

[00:31:15] Uh, and we submitted to a handful of festivals

[00:31:18] We're still waiting to hear back from a lot, but we got into our first one

[00:31:21] A couple weeks ago big apple film festival, which is like a pretty well known festival in new york city

[00:31:27] and

[00:31:28] the dates lined up perfect with what i'm going to be there for

[00:31:31] bwp the finale and

[00:31:34] It worked out where it's going to be shown at 3 p.m on thursday may 23rd

[00:31:40] So i'm not going to be missing any of the Bryson one festivities

[00:31:44] But yeah, i'm gonna wake up from the finale. Hopefully not too

[00:31:48] tired

[00:31:50] and go

[00:31:51] to that and

[00:31:53] I'm just really excited what we're being shown alongside some other shorts

[00:31:56] but uh

[00:31:57] I've done a few projects acting wise, but this is definitely my biggest project yet in my favorite one

[00:41:19] And he went all the way to the end of the first episode, but uh barely then I was like hold on, you know Jolinsky's out

[00:41:32] tonight or lack

[00:41:34] This episode

[00:41:36] I really thought it was a master class performance from charlie and it's amazing that it lined up with the boston

[00:41:43] showing because he's from boston

[00:41:46] But I just thought on every level that and we can get into all the ins and outs of it

[00:41:51] I really thought this was the perfect example of fantastic new era gameplay

[00:41:57] where

[00:41:58] It's about the social relationships and it's about timing and it's sort of about like

[00:42:03] How the best move and the biggest move can be making a subtle move and just the finesse of all that and

[00:42:09] I also thought a big theme this season was all about

[00:42:12] Taking credit and getting credit and oh, I deserve credit for this

[00:42:16] I really thought he showed out in this episode

[00:42:18] By using that idea and twisting it and putting credit on other people in order to sort of line himself up very well

[00:42:26] I disagree a little bit

[00:42:28] So let's get let's get into it

[00:42:30] Let's just get into it because y'all been just yapping so long. So let's just be clear. I love charlie

[00:42:35] I think charlie is playing a great game

[00:42:38] But on this podcast, I always want to be honest where I feel like charlie's miss step

[00:42:45] This episode was and I I feel so

[00:42:49] Dirty saying this but I i'm just being a viewer because let's be clear

[00:42:54] I love charlie and I love grizzel de blanco. I mean I love dr. Maria because this episode

[00:43:01] Okay, dr. Maria transformed into grizzel de blanco who I love

[00:43:06] I feel like

[00:43:10] I'm just excited that you disagree with me because now

[00:43:13] You know, so no, I I don't think it was a master class right? I think that the one critique

[00:43:19] I have of charlie is that

[00:43:22] you should have hopped on the

[00:43:25] train of this era

[00:43:26] Of getting your number one out and I feel like for charlie's best game could have been him

[00:43:34] utilizing the non pizza alliance and

[00:43:40] potentially harping on dr. Maria because I feel like at this point grizzel de has

[00:43:47] emerged and grizzel de is strong and

[00:43:52] And what do they do the strong people this season?

[00:43:55] Well, I forgot about that. They they they wave q in their face and they snipe them

[00:44:01] And she had immunity

[00:44:03] Now I see why there's an argument to be made that you might make a move on q

[00:44:07] in order to

[00:44:09] To take to take a shot at maria, but

[00:44:12] I like that we disagree a little bit on this though because right it was so

[00:44:15] We're kind of great even during the episode. I thought okay, I think he should

[00:44:20] Maybe do this or do this and then he executed that those ideas really really well

[00:44:25] I see the argument of taking a shot

[00:44:27] But I actually think this is an example of where not taking a shot is actually the right move

[00:44:32] And it's more impressive because I think it maintains a lot of things

[00:44:35] Uh, no, you're right. I just feel like there was a like I just feel like

[00:44:41] This was the episode for him to separate himself a little bit from dr. Maria

[00:44:47] He did that

[00:44:48] But did he though but and again, I love charlie. I'm just I'm just I'm playing devil's advocate

[00:44:53] I feel like he would when the non-pizza alliance was together

[00:44:58] They was together the second grizzel that came back and said this is what's happening

[00:45:03] Charlie got on board and I didn't love how easily he got on board on that because I just felt like

[00:45:11] it was another

[00:45:13] check

[00:45:14] to grizzel does resume and not to charlie's

[00:45:18] but that's what I think

[00:45:21] I think charlie set himself up in a position now where q and maria are the two clear next targets

[00:45:28] And that he's gonna be I think he'll be able to get into the four

[00:45:31] with a group of people with a with a group of people that he could probably be

[00:45:36] and

[00:45:38] And I think that's the perfect scenario of like, okay

[00:45:41] Here's you have to protect yourself with a couple of people that are bigger threats than you and a couple people that are lower than you

[00:45:47] And I think if he takes us now we could it could be the end of the season and we and maria

[00:45:53] You know maria wins like one immune is out

[00:45:56] If she is able to win and as she goes on to win the game

[00:45:59] Then I you know in heim say I absolutely agree with you

[00:46:02] Maybe this what we'll look back and be like this was the time you should have taken a shot

[00:46:06] But I do think he's got his targets lined up with a group of people that

[00:46:11] Are not really going to work together. And so he's going to be that that that middle person that that divisive vote

[00:46:18] Going forward through the rest of the game

[00:46:20] and then I think he's going to be able to show up at the end and

[00:46:22] Take the credit that he deserves for a lot of these moves that he isn't taking in the moment

[00:46:26] In order to minimize his threat level which coming off two shade immunity wins as well

[00:46:31] is so critical because

[00:46:33] But I I like I genuinely like that

[00:46:36] We're not we're not necessarily on the same page here because

[00:46:39] For me, I think I think charlie like I'll I'll say and this might be a little recency guys

[00:46:44] I think charlie goes on to win this season

[00:46:46] He might be the best player of the new era

[00:46:48] And so but the fact that you're not quite on board with that

[00:46:51] I think opens it up for some more interesting debate. Yeah

[00:46:54] Go ahead window

[00:46:55] What I'll say about just watching charlie this episode

[00:46:59] He looked like he was getting some kind of a winners at it. But what is a winners at it in this new era?

[00:47:06] But also he also to me looked like someone that can get to the end and does not win

[00:47:13] But they're they're making him look like it and it's almost like

[00:47:17] There might be someone

[00:47:19] At the end with him that made the bigger flashier moves and despite charlie doing these these humble big moves on the low

[00:47:28] Maybe he won't get so much credit as someone like a

[00:47:31] Dr. Maria Griselda

[00:47:34] That Maria at this point can get to the end

[00:47:36] I think I think

[00:47:37] I think

[00:47:38] First of all, we're about to see another idol in play and I think maria has the chops to win some challenges

[00:47:45] Yeah, I'm just worried that I feel like charlie is

[00:47:50] Too diplomatic right like he is perfect

[00:47:54] Like I I'm not negating how charlie is playing charlie is

[00:47:59] moving

[00:48:01] perfectly, I feel like

[00:48:04] I just need for charlie to put the

[00:48:08] The swift hammer down

[00:48:10] And I feel like he's just kind of like in the middle a little too much

[00:48:15] And I feel like with the jewelry that we have right now

[00:48:19] I feel like they are very opinionated and I don't know how

[00:48:26] In the middle person will move the jewelry

[00:48:29] But that's sort of why I think I think we've seen a lot in the new era that the winners

[00:48:33] A lot of times are sort of built by these moves from like seven six five

[00:48:38] And because the people that are making the big moves at like obviously we're later in the game now seven has proven to be a critical

[00:48:46] juncture in the game what I think about like a

[00:48:50] A jesse taking out cody which I believe was that like the final seven or the final six

[00:48:55] And to me that's sort of evidence that at that moment it's one step a little too early

[00:49:00] And so to just delay it a little bit

[00:49:02] I think now he's going to be able to to bring in a liz and to bring in a

[00:49:07] Ben and to bring in a kenzie and take out

[00:49:11] Maria who's obviously become an apparent threat and then also q who I think a lot of people be in the end but still has this

[00:49:18] perception that he's a threat and

[00:49:21] I think that's two easy moves that he can really direct as the centerpiece

[00:49:26] Bring those relationships together and then you get to the four and knock on wood. He's able to win in fire

[00:49:32] Um, or you know who I guess any player you have to win in fire most of the time or win a challenge

[00:49:37] That's how you really say and I still think back. I mean it reminds me this is a kind of a prime example of

[00:49:44] almost the adam Klein win where it wasn't the

[00:49:47] smoothest win

[00:49:49] But I think what adam had was the understanding that you think about like the final five

[00:49:53] He positioned himself in an alliance with david right and brett labelle who were considered to be bigger threats than him

[00:50:01] And so they they went at five and four and then he also ended his alliance had hannah

[00:50:05] Shapiro and ten

[00:50:07] And he was able to crush them at the end

[00:50:10] So it's not all in that sort of reminds me of like this new era gameplay where it's not always about this flashy moves

[00:50:16] But it's about

[00:50:17] Positioning yourself and timing up these eliminations in order to be that one person left at the final four the final three

[00:50:24] That is now the clear cut winner because you just eliminated a couple big threats

[00:50:28] I agree

[00:50:30] With that and again, i'm rooting for charlie

[00:50:32] So I don't want you to take my like uh questioning you as like not rooting for charlie

[00:50:36] What i'm just nervous is that the pace of how the new era moves, right? The fact that

[00:50:44] Quintavius is still in this damn game like i like

[00:50:50] I don't know what is up or down in the new era, right and like that example of adam Klein is great, but

[00:50:57] That's not the new era the way that the new era moves is a little different

[00:51:02] And i'm just nervous that we still have a cue in the game

[00:51:06] We still have a dr. Maria in the game. We still have a kinsie in the game, uh, and

[00:51:14] I just feel like it just makes me nervous because i am rooting for charlie. I am rooting for

[00:51:20] Dr. Gerzelda, uh, i'm rooting for kinsie, but it's just like all of those like

[00:51:27] There's only one winner and I feel like

[00:51:30] I'm nervous for my baby boy charlie

[00:51:33] so

[00:51:35] I was just thinking and this might be way ahead of ourselves, but you name some of these like

[00:51:41] Players or people that like look like they can win the game or big players

[00:57:01] She always has pretty good reads of what the the social dynamics and like what the right moves should be

[00:57:14] You put look at q and look at venus like and liz

[00:57:19] It with within the realm of the game people don't really like that

[00:57:30] For me and i'm gonna be spicy because I've had enough of this season the only goat that I see this season is liz

[00:57:37] But to me, I just look at it. Maybe your definitions are different

[00:57:40] But I think they go if someone you look at and you just think they're not gonna get any votes
