[00:01:46] I'm so excited to be here with my good, good girlfriend, Dr. Jatia Taylor Hart, and we are breaking down part two and part three of season nine of the Real Housewives of Potomac. But more importantly, we are getting into the headlines of Karen Huger, Sentencing, Sentencing, okay? It's so serious, it has to be a Sentencing scene.
[00:02:10] Also getting into some newly divorced housewives and all of the drama from part two and part three of the reunion. So let's get in to our Real Housewives of Potomac coverage. It's a man who? It's a man you. Me and potatoes like we're cooking up a great stew. It's a man who? It's a man you. Me and potatoes like we're cooking up a great stew.
[00:02:40] What is going on? We are back covering the Real Housewives of Potomac season nine. And we are so happy to be here, but I'm also so very sad because Jatia and I have been covering this whole season of Real Housewives of Potomac.
[00:03:01] And this is our last episode, but I am always excited to be with my sister, my Kageon sister, my ski instructor, Dr. Jatia Taylor-Hart. Welcome back to the podcast. How are you? Hello, Bryce. It's so good to see you. I'm so happy to be here. I am happy, yet sad that this is our last episode of the season.
[00:03:28] So I am ready to dissect. I might have to call up some footage on my phone. Hopefully we both make it through the whole entire reunion. Right? We have so much to talk about. I don't even know where to start. I know where I want to start. I don't know where you are. I mean, I want to talk about the verdict. I need the sentencing. That's where I want to start. That's where exactly we need to start. But before we start there, I just have two questions for you. Do you have a home?
[00:03:58] I have four homes. Okay. Thank you very much. Four homes and four degrees. Thanks. And the home that you are currently in, what does it smell like? Oh, I see where you're getting at. Okay. So as was discussed, Bryce came to visit me at my home in Idaho. And I don't know if I can... I have some time by myself. Yeah. But first of all, I don't know if you guys know this about Bryce,
[00:04:25] but Bryce smells like a washing bubblegum factory. Okay. And so everywhere he goes, like you hug him and it's like, ooh, it's like you get all these smells and scents. So I went to work. I left Bryce in the house and he went to, and he does this at all of my homes. He gets in the bathtub and he has like this whole spa day in the bathtub. And so I come home. We already talked about me finding him spread out,
[00:04:53] spread literally all over my bathtub. But then I know the truth. And then I left and I came back home and literally two weeks after Bryce had visited. I walk into my house, haven't been home for a week because I was on the road, my home in Idaho, open the door and boom, hit me in the face, the bubblegum factory. Still smelling. My whole house still smells like Bryce and his bubblegum scent and all his potions and lotions and oils. It's still...
[00:05:22] So it was actually a very nice reminder. And I texted him when I walked in the house and told him that it did still smell like him. I appreciate that. I can't take all the credit. Shout out to Airwick because while Jatia was at work, get you some friends that's going to clean your house when you're not home because my love language is cleaning. And you know, I went to Target, got some Airwicks,
[00:05:48] cleaned Jatia's house and I put them strategically in places that I knew when she would come back home, it would hit her. So when I woke up this Friday morning and saw the message from Jatia saying, my house smells like you. I was like, yes, my job is complete. Yes, it definitely did. I was like, how did he do that? Look, I don't even, I don't even possess those skills. That. And then I also, he hung my pictures, you guys. Oh, what a handyman.
[00:06:19] So I was telling him about these pictures that I got, some pictures that I've yet to hang in my home in Idaho. And I came back and they were hung. So he's a great house guest. I appreciate that. Now you don't need to answer, but that's not a plug for a big brother. I'm just saying you're good. I appreciate that. What did your basement smell like? You know what? You have to ask somebody. Get down there.
[00:06:49] Okay. I don't like the basement. So I don't go down there. I used to send children down there. Did you see any photos that were taken in the basement? Um, I did not. So now I'm a really have to go in the basement. Cause I don't know what you're talking about. And now as soon as we're done, I'm going down in the basement to look. What does your couch smell like? Oh my gosh. What did you do to my couch? No. What did you do to my couch? Okay. We don't have a conversation. Okay. Yes. But we do.
[00:07:18] Before we get into the Real Housewives of Potomac season nine, part two and part three. Mm-hmm. Reunion. We got some breaking news, baby. We've been talking about it all season. The grand dom, Karen Huger. We have gone through the process of her being found guilty. She had her sentencing hearing when I believe it was February 26th. And to the world shock. She shocked the world. Girl.
[00:07:48] World stop. Right. Really. Carry on. Karen was sentenced to two years. With some type of thing where she has to serve a year. And she will. Well, let me put on my, my legal hat here. Yeah. Come on, Wendy. Come on, Let me channel my, my legal, even though. Okay. So she got a two. One of the years is a suspended sentence with a one year suspended sentence. So basically she got two years, but one year she ain't got to serve.
[00:08:18] So she got to serve one. And the other year. And so that basically means that she has up to a year in jail. It may be shorter, but it's probably going to be almost a year. She might get like some time off her good behavior because it's a state offense. In the federal system. Don't ask me how I know all this. We ain't going to talk about that. That's a whole nother podcast. But. Family member. Right. But in the federal system, you say it serve almost all of your time in the state system.
[00:08:47] You can get time off for good behavior. So I'm thinking she going to serve at least six to seven months, maybe even eight months in actual jail. And then they might let her out. And then she might be like in a halfway house for the rest of her sentence or something like that. What you thinking? To the shock of the world. Yes, you're absolutely right. A lot of the legal critics are. A lot of the legal critics are saying that she probably will have to do six months,
[00:09:16] but to the shock of the world, Karen, the judge was not happy with Karen because the reports came out that Karen's rehab facility that she went to for two weeks. Baby. It was a luxury resort. They had wine tastings. Okay. Yes. So the judge. She was at a spa, honey. She was at like, what was it?
[00:09:47] What's the thing? She was at Sandals Malibu. Right. Yeah. Okay. She was there for, I want to say they said two weeks. The judge gave her a scathing remark as he gave her, her sentencing. And he ordered her directly from the court to jail. That for me is, is the biggest shocker because I know that if Karen believed that maybe she would go to jail normally,
[00:10:17] like with Teresa, like Jen Shaw from the Bravo housewives franchise, they get months. Sometimes they even get like years before they have to go in. The judge ordered Karen in immediately, which was kind of shocking to me. I thought at least maybe Karen would get a month to prepare. But I was telling my friend the other day, like, if you got to go in, I read it. Like, let's get the time. Starting now. Like,
[00:10:46] let's not prolong it. So it is crazy that our grand dame is. so I think the other people had like maybe kids at home. Like I know Teresa had like kids at home and they had to like coordinate their sentences. So they had like one, I know what Teresa, her and her husband are going. So they were like coordinating to make sure that they had people at home. I know that was one thing, but so I think it's a little bit different, but go ahead. Well, Karen has Raven. Who has grown? Who is an adult? I mean,
[00:11:16] we still need to coordinate. So that's the biggest shocker. Another shocker that came a while or in between our last recording is that. You ready? I'm ready. Ashley Darby is officially divorced. Yes. Okay. All right. Yay. Hand clap, honey. Cause that's been many, many, many years in the making. So. And another tad bit that was just dropped by little birdie is that.
[00:11:45] Filming for Potomac is getting ready to pick up for season 10 in the next two weeks. And it is confirmed that like, they ain't waiting for Karen. People were speculating that maybe they would prolong the filming of Potomac so that like, it could coincide with Karen getting out or waiting for some type of footage. Baby, they are pressing for with season 10. So in two weeks, season 10 will be filming.
[00:12:13] And in nine months or seven to nine months, Tia and I will be back. But listen, we are here. We had to get all that out the way. Cause you know, I like to cover the current events of what's going on with Potomac. But. And the current events are better than the reunion. Let's be honest. The current events of what's actually happening right now. Cause I'm going to tell you that episode three, I could have had, I could have had a mento. I could have had a martini. I could have had, what is a Karen's drink of choice?
[00:12:43] Whatever she usually has. I could have had one of those. Well, I could have had an antidepressant. I could have had a lot of things. Don't do that. Well, if that's how you feel about episode or part three, I felt that about part two. And so, but I will agree like part three, nothing happened. We only learned one thing and they dragged it all out, but it was a bombshell. However, I do want to just talk about some things that were introduced in part two. One,
[00:13:13] we learned that Greg was in New York with Kiarna. Uh, and he was preparing to come out as like a husband or a boyfriend of the show. Also, I didn't really love the footage that we saw of Greg. Like, he's like, I've been here all day. I could have been running the streets of New York. Like Greg, be quiet. But Kiarna does share that they are separated or they are no longer living together. Their house was built. Kiarna moved in and she moved out. However,
[00:13:40] they still are in a relationship. And Kiarna says to us at the time of filming in December, that they had recently been ring shopping thoughts. Whatever. Try to go and get you another man, honey. That's what I say. My thoughts are going to get you another man. My girl, get out of here. I, you know what though? I have very strong opinions. Don't listen to me. Cause you'll be single. I tell you that right now. Cause I ain't putting up with it.
[00:14:07] So go get you another man. I think you, you can do better. the girls just put in the work and you can get you a better man. You don't have to put up with that. He's not supportive. If this is the life you want to live and he's not supportive of that, then he's not the man to be in your life. I don't disagree.
[00:14:31] Now the next and other single handed storyline of last episode was Mia. Mia's lies, Mia's lies, Mia's lies. But I thought what was even more interesting than of course, they had to talk about Gordon and ink, how they felt like it was a fake relationship, how the ladies felt like Mia was still with ink, even though they publicly broke up because of the public sentiment that they didn't like me and ink together. Outside of that,
[00:15:00] I thought what was the most interesting was Mia's birthday to Miami. Oh, that's not what I thought was the most interesting. But we could talk about, we could talk about the birthday to Miami. That was shade. I thought, I thought it was great that she actually owned up to her shade. That was like the only time I have. Describe to me how she owned up to her shade, because what we said, I was a messy friend. Yeah, but she also, okay,
[00:15:30] so let's fill the listeners and viewers in. Okay. So Mia shares, or Ashley got wind of Miami. I was about to say, I'm speaking to your share, share, share. Mia did not share. Ashley got wind of my, the messy Miami and asked before they went to break, can we talk about Miami? And so Stacy and what's the other girl name? Wendy. Not Wendy. Stacy. Not Kiana. Stacy.
[00:15:59] It's the other girl that's married to the NFL player. Oh, I don't even know her. His name is Darius. Oh, I don't want to do this sister dirty. What is her name? I don't know. She's not memorable. Something with a J. Jazzy. Jazzy. Jazzy. Stacy and Jazzy got a text from Mia saying, Hey ladies, I'd love for you to come to my birthday in Miami. Both the ladies responded and said, we would love to be there. When Stacy arrived to Miami, she texted Mia and said, Hey girl, I'm in Miami.
[00:16:28] I can't wait for your dinner party tonight. Mia said, can't wait to see you. Mia's dinner party was at nine o'clock. Stacy arrived at 10 when she got there. The host said, Mia ain't arrived yet. Now, mind you, I lie. No, not her host, her POC. Okay. Her POC. Okay. Yeah. Okay. The POC. And so the ladies never saw. Never saw. Mia while they were in Miami. Now, mind you, now, first of all,
[00:16:56] there is a part of me that if I'm Mia, I can understand a little bit about that. Right? Like I, there's a world where I can invite people to an event and like, yeah, yeah. And then never really talk to them. Yeah. No, not that. Oh, outside of the event. Like you won't see me, but you won't not see me at the event. Like Mia ain't even like, okay. It sounds like you trying to explain it. Okay.
[00:17:27] Look, she, this is the one time that Mia owned up to her messiness. She said, yeah. I mean, she only owned up to it. She only owned up to it because Mia kept saying that she responded or Mia kept saying she had no idea the ladies were coming to Miami and Stacy had to show auntie her phone. And Andy, cause you know, Andy loves to read the messages. Andy, you're getting your phone funny. You're getting the phone. Andy was like, Mia, like Stacy said, I'm in Miami.
[00:17:56] I'll see you tomorrow. You said, I can't wait queen. She was probably drunk. To be honest, I've had some conversations with drunk people and they'd be like, Oh, I didn't, I don't remember. But I mean, in the end of it, she did try to apologize and they did say, Hey, this thing a real, real late on. I don't know what you do with that. If it's late on the apology is late on the apology. You can take it, not take it, whatever.
[00:18:25] But I will tell you for me with the Mia situation, what totally blew my mind and changed my whole thought on this was the fact that after all of this paternity, I don't know who the baby daddy is. We going to have a test, all this stuff. She conceived via IVF. Get out of here. She could have been pregnant. She could have been pregnant. She could have been pregnant. It's what she said on the reunion. You a lie.
[00:18:54] You a lie because you know how they do literal blood testing, HCG, hormone testing, IVF. You get your blood tested all the time, every day. It's not just a P test. So get out of here. Get out of here. They know exactly. They know if you're pregnant, you cannot get pregnant if you are pregnant. So no, you could not have been pregnant. Ding dong. Get out of here. And then I was like, I'm ready. Like, I was like,
[00:19:23] we could have ended this a whole, like, I wish somebody would have said that. Oh Lord, my ear and I came up. Um, I wish somebody would have said this a while ago. Cause I'd have been like next. Like she really did manufacture up all this doggone drama. And then to, again, I'm, I'm with all the rest of them to put her baby, put her baby into this drama. That is. And so go on, get up and leave girl. Not my kids. Not my motherhood.
[00:19:53] And that's the thing. Here's the thing. Like all the other seasons I have stood up for me. Like, listen, Mia's being honest. She lives a messy life. This was the one season that I was just like, Mia, like. You, you are over the top amping it up. How can you be so shocked at the ladies criticism of you? And you know, the ladies were saying like, you weren't protecting your children. Like your children one day. Right. I mean, I agree. All the way out, all the way out for a fashion Nova deal.
[00:20:25] Get out of here. You ain't even sell it. You ain't even selling your own products, girl. This ain't even skinny girl. This ain't even skinny girl money you talking about. Like, I get selling out your kids for skinny girl money. Okay, I get you some therapy. Well, you know, I mean, you should never sell out your kids. Let's be honest. But, but the paycheck should be not a fashion Nova paycheck. That's what you're saying.
And so,
[00:21:23] Mia leaves the reunion eventually, but we get to part three of the reunions and really, the only big, well, two big things happened in part three. The husbands and fiancés-to-be and boyfriends were there, i.e. Eddie and Greg, no one else came and so as we're getting... Who else would come? I mean, Karen's husband,
[00:21:55] Karen wasn't there, so her husband don't come and die. Yeah. And so, while the husbands are getting ready and they're filming, Eddie decides to call TJ and TJ gets on the phone and it's a very different TJ than what we have saw on the season and TJ reveals to Eddie that like, he doesn't like... Now, Eddie didn't say this and I didn't hear TJ say this, but Eddie did say when he was brought on
[00:22:24] the couch that TJ didn't like the feminine narrative of TJ that the editors were going with. Now, here's the thing, Jatia, you've been on reality TV, I've been on reality TV, baby. They can't manufacture no feminine. Like, they can't... They can... I will never forget this, Jatia. They didn't make that man put on a bonnet. They didn't make that man put on a bonnet. I'm just gonna say it.
[00:22:54] I'm gonna say this. That was his bonnet. One of the... When we were on Survivor and we were in the Philippines and we were at Ponderosa getting ready to film and it was like the Survivor Day where they were telling us like, what food we can eat, what food we can't eat. And do you remember when Jeff came out like, and it was like this big deal, like, Jeff was there talking to us and I'll never forget Jeff said like, a lot of people say they don't want a bad edit. And Jeff said to us, do you remember what he said to that?
[00:23:24] No. Jeff said they can't use or the editor... Which you don't give them or something like that? Which you don't give them. Right. Exactly. So I'm just saying. So I have a alternate kind of thing. You say that TJ was different than how he usually is. I thought it was the same old TJ, catty bitch. Like, he was giving catty bitch then, he's giving catty bitch now. But I mean,
[00:23:54] but also TJ says that he says he wasn't invited and that Stacy, Stacy paid for him to be his love interest and the checks didn't clear and she still has coins to pay. Yes. Now, catty bitch. Eddie, Eddie being the happy Eddie and happily married Eddie that he is. the second that Eddie got that tea. Eddie was. That's a good husband. Okay. That's what your man supposed to do. He supposed to,
[00:24:23] when he know he got something, he's supposed to share it immediately. Okay. But also, when you have a man and you have a good friend, right, you should need to text your friend that it's your man's birthday. Who did that? Somebody that. Who did that? Who did that? Who said that? Yeah. Exactly. Today, while we are filming, Jatia's husband's birthday is today.
[00:24:53] Mind you. Shout out to my birthday bae. Okay. Mind you, when I got up this morning, my alarm clock went off and said, Jatia's husband's birthday. So, I text Jatia's husband, first of all, I don't think I told you this part of the story. I text your husband at like 645. Happy birthday. Why at 646 am I getting a response? He said thank you. I knew it. Because that's my man. My man be up early.
[00:25:23] Okay. So, I just want to say that your man and tell me how to cook. So, I will tell you, as the woman I am and the way I support my man is that I'm going to make sure everybody texts my man on his birthday. So, if I got to send out reminders, my kids too because I be texting you, I text everybody. That's what mommies and women are supposed to do. You know, we hold down a social calendar you know, the way we do. So, you know,
[00:25:53] some people ain't going around. I just want to remember this point, Mia. So, you said as your friend or as the woman of the household, you're going to text people make sure it's their birthday, give them their birthday love, right? Mm-hmm. So, could you explain, please explain to me why on my birthday happy birthday
[00:26:24] Okay, see what happened. I need to explain this because the woman that Jatia is okay, you hear all of this. Girl, why do I get up on my birthday to a message from your family and just when I am starting to get into my happy birthday ness does everything cut off? Okay, first of all, do you know
[00:26:54] how hard it is? We did this in the morning trying to get everybody out the door but I was like, no, we got to sing happy birthday because that's what we do. We get together and we sing happy birthday and I let the six-year-old hold the camera and that is where things went wrong. So I can understand the nuclear engineer. Look, as your children grow, they want to do things. They want to, you know, assert their independence and show that they can handle certain tasks and sometimes
[00:27:24] you have to let them fuck it up and that's what you got. Okay, so. I will have to say I was like opening my eyes and like, okay, happy. I was ready for the whole song. So it's like, this is all that's on my screen now. Okay, it's just anyway, but thank you. We did our best. I appreciate it. Look, and I didn't even know it and didn't record the whole thing. So y'all sung the whole thing. Yeah, and I hit,
[00:27:54] I hit Finn and everything and thought it was the whole thing. So yeah, that's what I get for letting a six-year-old be in charge. He's learning. He's growing. That's okay. That's still my baby boy. And he'll still get tickled whenever Uncle Bryce sees him. And he was so excited because his arm was long enough to get everybody in the photo. And I mean, so it was kind of funny. But go ahead. Back to the show. Yeah, so this is the kind of stuff that good spouses and families, you know, we collaborate
[00:28:24] and we have that, you know, that back and forth. So yeah, Mia needed to get on up because she had sold her family down the river and she should have been ashamed. Yeah, I mean, she could come back from that but yeah, have some shame. Have some shame because you haven't. Have some shame. Yeah. Because you haven't so far. When Eddie, Happy Eddie, texts that information to his wife like a good husband and Wendy delivered it to the ladies, I was shocked
[00:28:52] at like Mia being, not Mia because Mia was gone, Mia left. I was shocked at like Stacy being like, I don't believe it. I don't believe it. That's not what my best friend would do. However, it was like Giselle, Ashley. What could she do? What could she say? I mean, and every other better reaction, a better reaction would be if I were Stacy in that situation, knowing that I had paid him because I would say from the get go,
[00:29:23] allegedly, I would say he's bitter. I don't believe anything that he says. Like, I wouldn't like say that Eddie because out of all of the husbands on the Housewives franchise, there are two husbands that I am not going to say are liars. And one, may his soul rest in peace. Greg Leakes, okay? Honk the horn on him, Greg. Beep, beep, bloop, bloop, Greg and Eddie.
[00:29:53] whether my like for Wendy has... What about Todd? Because that's the scheme that Todd set up. No, I'm not trusting Todd. Okay? But what I'm saying is that like whether I have liked Wendy or not and this season I have loved Wendy, Eddie has been... Eddie shows up. I like Eddie. Eddie is trustworthy. Eddie doesn't like the mess. Eddie supports his wife. Like, I really do feel like Eddie is like your husband. Like, there's nothing
[00:30:23] that I could like... There's bad I could say about Eddie. So, to accuse Eddie... Happy Eddie? You got Eddie's? She knew that wasn't gonna work. First of all, Wendy will take you to the mat if you talk about her man. First of all. Yeah, okay. So, that ain't gonna work and that's your ally so that's the wrong tree to bark up and then, yeah, no, Eddie is rock solid. Eddie is cool with everybody so, yeah, wrong person to come for.
[00:30:52] The only thing that I will say is though, like, although Eddie says that their intention or reasoning for calling TJ was because they didn't see him and they missed him. Now, mind you. Oh, I think that's fine. Well, you know what she was doing and so Stacy adamantly says that it's not true. Andy's like, do we have it on recording? Kiana is like, girl, before you back yourself into a corner, like, you can say anything else than what you are saying and then, of course,
[00:31:22] immediately after. She doubled down. She got to double down on it. She doubled down and Andy kept saying they had it on the camera. The camera, I was just dying that the camera ended up being an iPhone. I said, oh, okay, bravo. Well, they probably had to, like, upload the footage to the internet and then, like, they said, they said, well, we will show you now but that camera is filming Wendy as she leaves and what we saw them filming Wendy as she leaves was that producer
[00:31:51] with his phone and it was the same case that he was filming Wendy with that was the phone that they brought out and so, yeah, Stacy then tries to turn it around on the girls and it's like, I find it real convenient that the same guy that you guys been tearing down all season, now you want to believe him. Baby, tearing him down or saying that, like, we don't think that he's great for you is two different things than I don't believe I heard anyone all season
[00:32:20] say that TJ was a liar. Right? So this is the thing. This is the thing. Yeah, nobody accused her of, like, this being a fake relationship. They were just like, we don't know what's going on. Nobody. Her best friend was a relationship. Her best friend. A lavender relationship. If anybody knows about that, the 1800s and a lavender relationship. Okay, so, you know what a lavender relationship is? when a gay woman or whatever,
[00:32:50] gay woman and gay man or lesbian get together and get married so that they can, under the guise of having a normal heterosexual relationship when they both are actually seeing other people. Or it doesn't have to be like, it could be one of the partners being the LGBTQ plus relationship, but, or in the community, but go on. But it's the guise of a heterosexual relationship. How about that? Okay. All right. So, have you ever been in a lavender relationship? Um, I've been in like
[00:33:19] a green one. What's the, okay. I'll tell you, I'll tell you. Okay. No, I don't think I've ever been in a lavender relationship. Would you ever be in a lavender? I mean, never say never, but I mean, I'm married, so maybe if, I don't know, maybe if I'm a widow and I need, I don't know. Who knows? Who knows? Never say never. Okay. I'm open to having a relationship the older I get. I do think, you know, like,
[00:33:49] this is the thing. Marriage is about, a lot of it is about, you know, partnership and putting, you know, who you want to be and doing life with. According to the grand dom, it's an establishment. It's a, so, I mean, I'm just, you know, it's an institution. An institution. Yeah, like who I want to be making my medical decisions? Who do I want to, you know, have access to my bank accounts and support me? So I can see, I can see, you know,
[00:34:20] having, I can see the benefits of having a lavender relationship. I also am not one of those people who feel like, oh, your spouse has to be your best friend and your lover and everything. Like, that's a little bit much. Like, can we, we have separate people for separate areas. I agree. Yeah, so. So do you believe Stacy, my question for you is, do you believe Stacy in this reunion came off believable once? No. Okay.
[00:34:49] No, I don't think so. She was not believable. No, because, but this is the thing, I don't think she wanted to actually come hard at TJ because he had receipts. Well, and she, and she ain't pay. Right. Right. And she owe him. So he, she don't want him to send her an invoice. So she can't come. if, if you have a contract, right, is the contract null and void if you breach the contract? Like, you know, if the contract says like, hey,
[00:35:19] pay me this, this, this, this, this, right? Like, and if you don't do that, doesn't, isn't the contract like null and void? Like all of the, not always. So you could sue somebody for breach of contract, but that doesn't mean just because you don't follow the contract. The contract don't, you don't have to listen to it anymore. No, you just sue them. So the thing is, if they have a contract, I don't, I think she trying to make it go away and trying to make herself seem innocent and not trying to piss anybody off. So she don't want to call TJ because she don't want to rile TJ up.
[00:35:48] So I think what her avenue is, she's just trying to do that path of least resistance and it's not working. That's, that's what I think. But I also felt like when they were like, well, call him now. And she was like, I, we've broken up. I wouldn't call him. Well, girl, you just said 20 minutes ago, this man was your best friend. Well, so yeah, no, she ain't going to call him because what? She want him. So there you go. Okay. And all right, well, we'll,
[00:36:17] we'll put a TJ in that Stacy. And then the last thing that I just want to talk about of this part three segment was the Karen footage that was pre-recorded of her and her husband allegedly hours before the sentence or hours before like the hearing of whether or not she'd be guilty or not. Mm-hmm.
[00:36:45] And I just found it very convenient that it was, yeah, before the verdict, like it was the same outfit and same hair and makeup that Karen had on wearing to the ladies to send their message to the reunion. but baby, when I say if all bases were covered in that video, Karen cover all bases of not getting over her parents' death, taking
[00:37:17] medication, blue eyes, like, it was the way that just Ray couldn't keep up for me. Ray was like, I wanted you to have a driver and like, not that blue eyes, because we've seen reunions with Ray and them talking about blue eyes and how upset Ray has gotten, not for him to then film this video essentially saying that the driver or security
[00:37:46] that I have hired for you had blue eyes and the ladies made all of this up. But, nevertheless, of that whole soap opera production and which also is crazy is that, you know, CBS aired its first black soap opera that's airing now on CBS. Behind the gate. Do you know who was a, do you know who had the nerve to be a guest on Behind the Gate? No, who was that? Who? You know, Karen was on the, like, the second episode. No, I didn't know that. Now I'm going back to watch it.
[00:38:16] not Karen on Behind the Gates giving us Behind the Gates with her and Wright. Anyway, out of that whole production, somebody had told her that it was somebody else in the car and then Shady Bravo playing the tapes of essentially Karen saying that she wasn't even driving. I said, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
[00:38:46] oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, she should have took the plea and been on house arrest for six months. She should have had a grand dam. She should have had a La Belle. What's the name of her perfume? La Dom. She should have had 60 days of La Dom in her house. She should have followed Kai Sinat and did streaming marathon mafia for 60 days. Girl! Yes, she should have took she should have took
[00:39:15] the plea deal. It's like and it's funny because now she's firing her lawyers. She should have fired herself. Like the details that came out to me, like when this was her fourth alcohol involved incident. Did you know that? Right. So this was her fourth involved incident. The footage. The footage. You didn't watch but sure but Wendy reveals Ray was there. Shit. Excuse me. Ray was there. He knew how bad it was. Honey, I think you shouldn't talk.
[00:39:46] Like he knew. Wait, I'm sorry. Wait, wait, wait, I'm sorry. Your internet cut out. Who was there? Ray. Ray. And in the thing he said, honey, I think you shouldn't talk. Ray knew how bad it was. He knew exactly how bad it was when he said, honey, I think you shouldn't talk. Like you ain't never heard. You didn't even need to see the tapes, Ray because in that soap opera Ray said that he opted out of seeing the videos with Karen. Ray, you lived it IRL.
[00:40:16] Look, Ray, you knew in the moment. You knew in the moment you was telling. You ain't never seen Ray tell her to shut up. He told her, basically, I think you shouldn't talk. Okay, look, so you knew how bad it was. He gave her some really bad advice. Everybody, well, you know what she, and she did switch lawyers I think a couple of times. Everybody gave her bad advice. You know what? This is the thing. I don't, I hate to jump on the bandwagon. She does not realize she has a problem.
[00:40:47] Because, and she doesn't, she doesn't, somehow doesn't get how bad her problem is. And, and unfortunately, maybe this will make her see how bad her problem is. Because, she could have killed somebody and she's going to a like poo-poo rehab, honey, for two weeks. She's, and then she's saying, I don't have a problem with alcohol. Though you have had four, four run-ins
[00:41:16] with the police. And which is why the reason that Ray has hired drivers for you, sis. Why are you still driving if your husband has realized that you don't need to be driving? Everybody, everybody, everybody knows you don't need to be driving. And here your ass is getting behind. So like, I want, I hope she gets the help that she needs. But, she needs help.
[00:41:46] And she needs to recognize that. And like, even in these videos saying I don't have a problem with alcohol, it's antidepressants. It's the problem with my, you know, it's me dealing with my feelings. Yes, but all of that is ending up in alcohol and driving. So you do have a problem with alcohol. It's the legal seafood worker telling Ashley that she comes and mind you, first of all, if you know legal seafood, mind you, they're like only in malls. And like, Stop it.
[00:42:16] I feel like, but legal seafoods, in my opinion, there's like, there's one in like the King of Prussia mall. It's in the food court. It is a high-end restaurant. It's not always in the food court. They're like, they're like attached. They're not in the food court. They're attached to the mall. But they got, they got separate pantry. Like you could sit in the mall and still like, the fact that like, first of all, I don't even know. They're like Ruby Tuesdays. Like, you know, you know, it's attached to the mall, but it's not like in the food court. Come on now. For me though,
[00:42:45] it was, when they said she comes here every day and gets drunk during the day, like I was like, oh my God, legal seafood is the place. Like, that's where you want to go. Like, I was like, oh my God, they're not lying. Heck, because the happy hour is on at 1130, right? Because they are open when the mall open at 10. It was just, the fact that it was legal seafood, I was like, that is, and you know, I am on the East Coast. Also, why can't you just stay home and get drunk? I mean, like,
[00:43:14] that's very expensive to go, like, you could get drunk at home. I'm not condoning that, but anyway. Maybe raise home, maybe like, you know, so it's a lot of different things. But ultimately, they were just dropping bombs on Karen, and yeah, Karen is... Well, like I said, I hope that she gets the help that she needs. And I hope that it's not a problem for her anymore. Whatever the problem is, I hope she deals with it so it no longer manifests
[00:43:44] as her driving under the influence because driving is one of the most dangerous activities you can do, right? And I'm glad that she's never hurt anybody else, but it's serious. It really is. And over the weekend, we learned that our R&B legend, Angie Stone, was leaving a performance, headed to another performance, and her sprinter van got into an accident with an 18-wheeler, and we lost our legend, Angie Stone.
[00:44:14] So just rest in peace to the Stone family and Angie Stone. So driving is serious and dangerous, and even when you're not under the influence, like, it's like you need to be alert. And so it's just crazy that, like, this is what season... Like you were saying, it seems like the drama off the court of season nine has made season nine a very interesting season. It has been a very interesting season.
[00:44:43] So I just wanted to say that this has been an interesting season. I have loved, loved, loved doing these reviews with you. I am excited. I think that if you have any predictions for the next season who we'll see back and maybe old faces joining the cast, who do you think? You think the new girls gonna make it, Stacey and Kiarna? I think Stacey absolutely has secured our spot. I think Kiarna might be a friend of the show. I think we could
[00:45:12] see the end of Amia. I think that Ashley could be demoted to a friend of the show and I think that we will. I think the return of Candace is intimate and I think that we might see two new Potomac peach holders. NECA? Just kidding. NECA's not coming back. I wasn't mind NECA. I liked NECA. I wasn't mind NECA. I liked NECA. I liked Monique but I know
[00:45:42] she's not coming back. She's not coming back. What about old girl? What's old girl named? Ascala or Jossie? Not Ascala. Or Jacqueline. Jossie, I would love to see Jossie back as a friend of the show. I feel like we just didn't get to see enough of Jossie. Jacqueline can stay. She's gonna stay back and have her child. No, but I'm talking about who is the oh, with, okay. Here's the last thing that I will say. Is it?
[00:46:12] With the grand dom behind bars, I would welcome and have always wanted the return of Shasha. I wouldn't be mad at the return of Sharice and not as like we're just bringing her on for an episode at an event. Like, I would gladly welcome the return of Sharice as a friend of the show or an actual peach holder because since the show
[00:46:41] has ended, Sharice's divorce is final. Her son is amazing. Can come back anytime. Okay. Her daughter, like, I would love the re-entrance of Shasha because I also felt like the last couple of times that Robin tried to bring Sharice back, Karen shut it down. Karen didn't want to film with her. Karen didn't want her to be there. So we didn't really get it. And here's the thing. I wouldn't be mad if a Katie return too, just lightly
[00:47:11] because Katie got a lot of things with me. But I wouldn't be mad if a white, that's all I'm saying. This is the thing. Candice, yeah, she's going to come back. And no, I don't want Sharice back, but yes, I'll take Shasha. Okay. I, because at the end of the day, people always said Sharice, a.k.a. Shasha, was the real grand don. And I feel like Karen shut it down.
[00:47:41] She could never show her. She never showed herself on screen. I'll tell you. But I feel like she did and she didn't. But like, you got to rewatch season one and season two when her and Giselle was going at it when she kicked Giselle out. Like, I think that this could be, I don't think we need new members. Like, we just need to bring some of the old members back. Candice and Sharice returning, I think would be enough. But you can let us know in the comments what you think, who should return, or they should be casting new blood. But, Jatia, thank you so much.
[00:48:11] all season long, putting up with me, recording with me, and bringing your energy to the posse. We appreciate you so much. Where can they find you? Anything you've got working, cooking up?
