[00:09:25] because it was one of the only things open.

[00:09:27] And I think I've done every single one in New York City.

[00:09:30] I live and breathe for an escape room, love puzzles.

[00:09:43] This, if you knew how to do a rebus puzzle,

[00:09:45] this was maybe the easiest leg ever.

[00:09:52] I know, I don't want to complain, but come on.

[00:09:54] Like so, and it was like eight little tiny pups.

[00:09:59] I mean, the skis minus the KSK that did confuse me for a little.

[00:10:32] and then they did yoga and that was a positive experience.

[00:10:41] I'm like, maybe you need to take them glasses off.

[00:10:44] They were delightfully nuts.

[00:10:45] Like I, and they did such a 180

[00:10:48] from being just so bad at that

[00:10:50] to being so good at the roadblock

[00:10:53] that it was just, it was hilarious to watch.

[00:10:58] I'm sure it wasn't hilarious to live

[00:10:59] because they did 29 tries on that puzzle before.

[00:11:02] And the last time they did it,

[00:11:04] they were off one word.

[00:11:05] And that was like, I was like, oh no, you're not changing,

[00:11:08] but we're, I guess-

[00:11:11] I also feel like maybe because the puzzle was so easy,

[00:11:15] I felt like the way that they were judging

[00:11:18] some of those dances-

[00:11:23] I felt like they could have given that to them,

[00:11:26] but I felt like maybe because again,

[00:11:28] the puzzle was so easy that they had to be straight

[00:11:31] because some of them break dances wasn't breaking.

[00:11:36] It wasn't dancing.

[00:11:37] It just wasn't dancing.

[00:11:40] It was something else.

[00:11:41] It was interpretive movement.

[00:11:43] Right?

[00:11:44] That's funny.

[00:11:52] because we actually see Von and Melissa this episode

[00:12:05] I do think that the Rebus puzzle task

[00:12:08] probably should have been like five miles away,

[00:12:10] up 10,000 stairs or something, whatever,

[00:12:12] that made it harder

[00:12:13] because while the break dancing wasn't particularly hard,

[00:12:17] it was going to take a certain amount of time

[00:12:18] for you to learn the steps regardless.

[00:12:21] And if you're Danny or really Ricky and Seisar

[00:12:25] for the most part,

[00:12:26] like you were walking through that puzzle

[00:12:27] and you were done in minutes.

[00:12:30] That was too easy.

[00:12:33] Okay, also, last grade.

[00:12:39] What is the point in finishing a leg in order?

[00:12:41] If you're just going to start the next leg

[00:12:43] in some Mishmashi, whatever,

[00:12:45] and then in groups, I hate the group start.

[00:12:48] Yeah, I don't like the groups.

[00:12:49] And we asked last week about like the U-turns

[00:12:52] and all this to somebody wrote in the comments

[00:12:54] of our last YouTube page,

[00:12:56] they said that no U-turns,

[00:13:00] no, they gave us a whole list.

[00:13:02] I was like, oh my God,

[00:13:06] but you could continue because I can't find it.

[00:13:08] But hold on, I can pull it out.

[00:13:09] Also, the best moment of the episode,

[00:13:10] absolute best, best, best moment

[00:13:12] was the last 10 seconds where Phil is double dutching

[00:13:15] and Phil doing amazing.

[00:13:17] And then they hit the camera guy

[00:13:18] and Phil's like, double dutch.

[00:13:20] It will make it in.

[00:13:21] It will make it in.

[00:13:22] I was like, oh, okay, hold on.

[00:13:24] Let me see what the time is.

[00:13:26] Man, okay.

[00:13:27] So anyway, they all do this paragliding

[00:13:29] for absolutely no reason

[00:13:30] in absolutely no order to start the leg.

[00:13:32] And then you have group one,

[00:13:33] which is just Ricky and Stasar and Vinnie and Amber.

[00:13:37] And it stays this way.

[00:13:38] You could literally not have watched the entire episode,

[00:13:40] watch the first three minutes

[00:13:41] and then you would have known

[00:13:42] how the order was gonna end

[00:13:44] because Ricky and Stasar come in first,

[00:13:46] Vinnie and Amber come in second.

[00:13:47] Nothing else matters and whatever, but.

[00:13:50] I love how Ricky and Stasar,

[00:13:52] like they want that number one spot.

[00:13:55] Like they play no games.

[00:13:57] Like Stasar be like, come on Ricky, come on Ricky.

[00:14:00] And I mean, I know I'm all over the place,

[00:14:01] but there was one point where it was like Vinnie and Amber

[00:14:04] and they were running

[00:14:05] and Vinnie was like, come on Amber, I need you to hurry up.

[00:14:07] She's like, don't yell at me.

[00:14:08] And Stasar is like, let's go Ricky, let's go Ricky.

[00:14:13] I love their competitive spirit.

[00:14:15] I would be really interested to see Ricky and Stasar

[00:14:18] in a regular season with U-turns and that strategy

[00:14:23] because I think that they would have to play

[00:14:25] a little bit differently

[00:14:27] because in a season where there is nobody stopping you

[00:14:30] and there aren't other teams like conspiring

[00:14:32] because there's no way to get you out,

[00:14:35] then I would be interested to see how they would do

[00:14:38] if there was that added level of gameplay

[00:14:41] that doesn't seem to be happening this season.

[00:14:43] And thanks to whoever wrote that on the YouTube

[00:14:45] because I thought I saw the comments,

[00:14:46] but I guess I missed one.

[00:14:49] I hate that there's no U-turns.

[00:14:50] I love the strategy part of it, but whatever.

[00:15:23] we know Robert no non elimination legs

[00:15:30] Well, I think if we were getting an express pass,

[00:15:32] it would have been all like the first episode.

[00:15:35] Not necessarily the first,

[00:15:36] but I think we know about it by now.

[00:15:38] These are great things that the race did.

[00:15:41] There was a yield that the race did

[00:15:42] where you can stop another team for a little bit.

[00:15:44] There was something that was a little less successful

[00:15:46] that was called the intersection

[00:15:47] where you had to wait for another team to show up

[00:15:49] and you did one task with another team

[00:15:51] and then you could split apart again.

[00:15:53] Interesting, but to have none of it,

[00:15:55] it just seems like a little lackluster, but...

[00:15:57] And then just to get parasailing.

[00:16:03] Seven steps was hard for him,

[00:16:05] but you'll jump off the side of a cliff.

[00:17:10] decided to go have dinner.

[00:17:12] And I don't remember the name of the restaurant,

[00:17:14] but I went to the guy at the restaurant

[00:17:16] who gave us free desserts

[00:17:17] because we didn't have a lot of money.

[00:17:18] We had to use leg money

[00:17:19] like and nobody wanted to spend their money

[00:17:20] but the people at the restaurant were so nice

[00:17:23] and willing to just like give us stuff

[00:17:26] because we all probably looked so,

[00:17:28] it was like eight, we were like ragged

[00:17:29] and disheveled at that point.

[00:17:31] So they were like the camera guys

[00:17:32] they gave everybody like food and stuff.

[00:17:34] So we did our own little excursion

[00:17:36] but nothing, nothing like this.

[00:17:38] So I don't know why it happened.

[00:17:40] I'm gonna try and forget about it or whatever.

[00:17:43] So Juan and Shane leave.

[00:17:45] Juan talks about his whole family living in Medellin

[00:17:47] and so he's like, if I run into my aunt

[00:17:48] like gotta go cause she gonna call my mom

[00:17:51] and I'll have to help.

[00:17:52] I mean like where do we do next?

[00:17:53] I mean that would be really, really helpful.

[00:17:55] Derek and Chalisa talk about

[00:17:56] how they're consistently in third.

[00:17:57] They're doing a great job.

[00:18:01] and hey, it's Yvonne and Michelle who are Melissa.

[00:18:09] And then in group three you have Michelle and Sean,

[00:18:16] feel like part of the team

[00:18:17] which is super helpful in getting him to go a bit faster.

[00:18:21] they're going to get leg number one this race

[00:18:23] and then I think it's Bizzie who says

[00:18:25] we're just gonna try and move up a little bit

[00:19:18] you can't escalator, you can't walk on the escalator,

[00:19:21] you can't run on the escalator,

[00:45:26] crying and I felt bad for Shawn

[00:45:30] because Kishori is crying

[00:45:31] and then Corishma is like,

[00:45:33] she has this light bulb moment where she's like,

[00:45:36] holy crap, I realized I've been backwards.

[00:45:38] I've got it now

[00:45:39] and she gets very into it, very excited.

[00:45:41] Michelle realizes she was backwards.

[00:45:43] At this time, people have checked in to the pit stop.

[00:45:47] You've got, I don't remember who started this point.

[00:45:51] The thing about that, this is the detour, right?

[00:45:57] So I felt like the earlier teams

[00:45:59] were able to quickly identify

[00:46:01] that that building was not the museum because the checker.

[00:46:05] So I was like yelling at Corishma

[00:46:08] and the other people like, y'all don't see the checker

[00:46:12] but I also maybe can attribute that to like adrenaline.

[00:46:15] Like you're letting your nerves get the best of you

[00:46:16] but also it's maybe because three teams before me

[00:46:19] have said that it's the checker box

[00:46:21] and obviously they hold like

[00:46:22] and you're watching it after being seen exactly.

[00:46:26] Was it busy who did it or was it Sunny?

[00:46:32] I think it is Sunny who was like gonna be a landscape artist

[00:46:36] and she does the smartest thing

[00:46:38] because the map has these two huge circles

[00:46:41] and they are actually out there on the course

[00:46:42] and she's like a sheet orients herself with the circles.

[00:46:45] She's the only person who does that

[00:46:46] which I think is really interesting.

[00:46:49] sometimes you wanna jump right into it

[00:46:51] but you gotta know what you're doing.

[00:46:57] but I definitely would have done a lap

[00:46:58] to kind of like figure out where I'm at.

[00:48:26] She was losing her spirit

[00:48:29] and that really hurt

[00:48:30] because she's just so positive

[00:48:31] and happy that it just sort of hurt my heart.

[00:48:33] Anyway, Karishma gets it.

[00:48:34] They're out of there.

[00:48:36] They find Phil.

[00:48:37] They're very happy to finally be done with this leg

[00:48:39] but I am really worried

[00:48:41] because they're now in last

[00:48:44] and starting in the back of the pack,

[00:48:45] Michelle finally gets it and it's dark

[00:48:47] and they don't show us,

[00:48:48] they don't show her getting it to us.

[00:48:51] So I don't know if she actually ended up getting it

[00:48:53] or if they were just like, okay, take your clue.

[00:48:56] But they do let them go find Phil

[00:48:58] which I like rather than Phil coming there

[00:49:00] and eliminating them

[00:49:02] because they were the last team left

[00:49:04] and this leads to my ultimate favorite moment

[00:49:06] of the episode where they whipped their jump ropes

[00:49:09] out of their backpack

[00:49:10] because of course they have their jump ropes

[00:49:12] and Phil double judges until the episode is over.

[00:49:16] He did really great.

[00:49:17] I can't wait to try that.

[00:50:06] they were in this rain forest.

[00:50:08] And so I remember screaming like,

[00:50:10] Phil, like, like, I had lost my child

[00:50:14] and it was an emergency situation

[00:50:16] that I was screaming to find Phil.

[00:50:18] And so he hid there.

[00:50:20] No, he hid a lot.

[00:50:21] We were in Venice.

[00:50:22] We ran over the wrong bridge

[00:50:23] because he was like,

[00:50:24] it's some little alcove here.

[00:50:26] He likes to hide

[00:50:27] and I think that's kind of fun.

[00:50:29] He either likes to hide

[00:50:30] or he likes to be at the top of a mountain.

[00:50:33] So if you really make your work for it,

[00:50:35] to find him or work for it to get to him.

[00:50:37] So I like that though.

[00:50:38] I like that it's not just super easy.
