[00:01:22] who are your favorite teams so far. It feels like forever, but I'm so excited to be back

[00:01:26] with my co-pilot in the cockpit, Ms. Brooke Kamhi Goodwin,

[00:01:32] the winner of Amazing Race season 29.

[00:01:35] She is back with me and we are taking a first look

[00:01:38] at this season 36 cast of Amazing Race.

[00:01:42] We are just looking at them and telling you what we think

[00:01:45] about the teams.

[00:01:45] Now for me personally, I am looking for my couple We are just a couple weeks away from the premiere of the new season of Amazing Race. And I'm so excited to be joined with my Pit Stop co-host. You may know her from a million and one notes that she takes for every episode. Or you might know her from the winner of Amazing Race season 29,

[00:03:01] the recently newlywed Miss Brooke Kam High Good Win. back again. We're back again. So I'm excited. I think these teams are great. I think there are some new faces. They're all new faces, but new dynamics, which you don't normally see on the race. So I think casting from first glance did a really good job. I can't wait to dive into it with you. But before we dive into it, let's just for 30 seconds, pay homage

[00:04:21] to the notes and talk about a couple of movie. Watch it if you haven't seen it. Okay, so this season was filmed a few years ago. These core winners, whoever they are, I don't know, also making it a point to not know, have had to wait the better part of two years

[00:05:40] to see their season air.

[00:05:41] Why don't feel as bad?

[00:05:43] Because if they feel like they have an issue,

[00:05:45] I feel like they need to make the season 90 minutes long.

[00:07:01] So they just originally edited the next season

[00:07:03] to be 90 minute episodes and figured they would keep these

[00:07:06] a 60 minute episodes when the time came. this one ready to go. So it's like, it really should only be like more fruit of the labor. I agree. To give us what we want. Because I think the cool thing, it was already 60 minutes. So now they could add more where they wanna add more rather than try to just cut down to 90 minutes. So I think it'll be good from that perspective. Here are some things you might not love.

[00:08:22] They're pretty much sticking to North and South America.

[00:08:24] They're going to be going to Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, And I'm really, in doing my little bit of a dive on some of these contestants, I think we have some really interesting characters. So from that perspective, I remain hopeful. I'm excited. Now, what makes me a little nervous about, you said it's three dating couples. Now, remember that team about three seasons ago

[00:09:43] where he wasn't like helping her get out the car

[00:09:45] and they was like from one of them dating shows

[00:09:47] and they didn't even, they don't tell Lewis and Todd and Ashley that I'm looking for a new couple. I am looking for my potential daddy. I think you've got some choices. I am looking for a team that I feel like I'm going to have to gather with love. I feel like, you know, and I am looking for the team that will be directionally challenged.

[00:11:05] Oh, I think they are already.

[00:11:08] Yeah. so young and he's got like the handsome gray, physically fit, you know they're probably well organized given their jobs. I think they're going to do well. I think this is a team that might surprise us because I think people may count them out. And I feel like we're gonna have, like that's where the conflict is gonna come, but I'm going to love to watch them. So I'm excited they look great. So yeah, like, I mean, we starting off strong.

[00:13:40] Oh, definitely.

[00:13:41] Okay, so then we have our first of the parent child teams.

[00:13:46] We have Angie is going to be the underrated superstar, right? I hope so. I feel like teaching seventh grade, she's gonna be organized, she's gonna know how to talk to people, she's gonna know how to like, you know, I feel like she's gonna be able to keep up with her son. I do feel like we gonna have a, maybe a couple who rough legs for them to get their footing,

[00:15:03] but I feel like once they get their footing,

[00:15:05] I feel like Angie is gonna be like,

[00:15:07] she gonna surprise the on all of these. And I've never done this before where before the season starts, I just pick a place for

[00:16:20] everybody.

[00:16:22] And so I actually don't even know what I'm going to say.

[00:16:24] So at the end I might be like, well, I have to give this person first because I haven't

[00:16:27] used first yet.

[00:16:28] And I whatever. just getting dirty. That list. That don't mean nothing. OK, we saw this. I mean, this is my first contender for my new Tada, nationally. OK. And we saw Ashley. Is it because they're an orange? I mean, maybe because they're an orange. Maybe because they just are physical. Like they just aesthetically look great. I feel like they're going to be high energy.

[00:17:41] I feel like him being an ex and a fell player,

[00:17:44] he's going to have that motivation.

[00:17:46] Her being a fitness They look like they'd be a fun team. And so I hope they last for quite some time. The thing that worries me about them, right? Like I feel like because they are so physically fit. And again, I bring my survivor realm into this. I feel like when people are on Survivor and we know that they are a pro athlete in some way, shape,

[00:19:02] or form, right?

[00:19:03] I feel like sometimes people come together and be like,

[00:19:05] we don't want them to win.

[00:19:06] He already has money. So I did a little dive on Instagram. They had some video where they were on day 59 of a 60 day cleanse, where they hadn't eaten food in 60 days. He had lost 47 pounds. She had lost 48 pounds. Now I assume that's after the right, I don't, they look thin. I don't think they have them a good size. Maybe they drop it at least. They can do that, right.

[00:20:21] They can do that.

[00:20:22] They can do anything.

[00:20:25] So I like the fact that they're going to have high energy. I feel like they're going to work together really well. I can see them going out in the middle of the pect and I can see them going out where it's just like they've been doing really well, but they got a challenge

[00:21:40] where they had to put a motorcycle together

[00:21:42] and they couldn't like, you know what I mean?

[00:21:43] But I definitely see them killing it

[00:21:46] and just having like you can navigate. So I feel like they got the perfect match. I love the way that they are like embracing each other in this photo. That's like, listen, we are one. I feel like they're physically fit. I feel like they're going to be able to work together.

[00:23:00] I can't wait to see the personalities to see like if anyone is more cheery or anyone's like, you gotta know how to blend in, you gotta know how to, you know, so I'm very high on them. I am too. Okay, so next up we have Sunny and Busy who are best friends and firefighters, first responders from Wisconsin. They are firefighter moms. They are 41 and 37 respectively.

[00:24:21] Yeah, I know this season has a lot of teams

[00:24:23] that are a little bit, they have a good mix

[00:24:25] of teams that are in their 40s

[00:24:27] and then a couple that are young 20s, spirit of I ain't playing around, but I also feel like I might have to yell at them because I feel like they not going to help some people. But I don't know, but they definitely look like a force to be reckoned with. Another strong woman led team. I know. And I'm like, will we get our first or have we, we've never had a lady, a woman, woman team win, right?

[00:25:44] We've had a woman. We've had a couple across the United States. They seem so cute. They seem very adventurous. If you look at their Instagram, they are jumping off cliffs.

[00:27:01] They are paragliding.

[00:27:02] They have no fear of what's going on around them.

[00:27:05] They're from California.

[00:27:07] They're in their 30s. seems maybe it's like the long hair. Not too much for Vinnie, girl, not too much. Oh, go ahead. Finish your statement. He seems a little zen, which is a good thing. So I don't compare him to Lewis, who was just like a hyper ball of fabulousness. So I don't know which one of them is going to be the more hyper one. It may actually be her. But I think together they do look like a real.

[00:28:22] I wasn't going to say anything bad.

[00:28:23] OK, because I was going to say Vinnie.

[00:28:25] I'm on for them. It's the matching and the color scheme for me that lets me know that you are prepared. I'm clearly rooting for them. I think that this is the team that we will see a lot of arguing or not arguing or kind of going back and forth about like what they should do.

[00:29:41] So I feel like they might have a rough couple of legs

[00:29:44] but I feel like they not, I mean, for me personally, I love, but I just, I've heard some stories about some pilots in the Air Force. And listen, I like to experience for myself,

[00:31:00] Jeremy and Jeremy.

[00:31:02] No, Liam and Liam.

[00:31:03] Liam and Jeremy.

[00:31:05] You know, I love me, Liam and just heard that, like, you know, they are not players, but you know, I just, I just heard that like specifically pilots in the Air Force. Like. Got it. So nothing that would affect them on the way. Oh no, no, no, no, no. I mean, would affect my heart. I'm like, are there any female female teams

[00:32:20] that they could just get flirty with that are like single?

[00:32:23] Oh, there's one, there's one.

[00:32:25] We are very excited to see Juan and Shane. Okay, all right who we got also shout out to mama cam high and Papa cam high. How are you doing? Okay, we're moving on quickly, okay next up we have Anthony and Bailey they are twins Dooters they clear water, Florida, which is where my great-grandfather used to live. So I love that place

[00:33:41] They seem very like happy-go-lucky

[00:33:44] Surfer dude, not a care in very fun. I know, but that's not good. That's true. But I also feel like you can't judge a book by its cover. That is true, which is why I'm talking. With being recruiters, they know what it takes.

[00:35:00] They'll be fun.

[00:35:03] We have a lot to see from them. That would really be cheating the system. I mean, is it they have the same DNA? They are different people. I mean, they're identical twins. And yet, any identical twin will tell you they are not the same person as their twin. I mean, I'm just saying. Look, I hope they try it. I think that's interesting. I think it's cool. I think they should try it. I think they would get kicked off for it.

[00:36:21] But I love the idea.

[00:36:22] Found the idea.

[00:36:23] OK, next up, we have Kishori and Karishina. sisters and brothers, they're really close. But I often feel like we don't talk about that cousin bond. Sometimes like your cousins are like even better than your siblings. So I feel like we might get some bickering and fighting, which we love, but I also feel like they're going to get down to business. I feel like we might see a little Lulu and Lala, right?

[00:37:40] Like where they kind of like struggle a little

[00:37:43] in the beginning, but then they get, they flow.

[00:37:45] And once they get, they flow, they off to the races. I just already know I am not gonna get enough of them in my life. I just worry only because I feel like in the last, in the new era of Amazing Race, it's this sibling group that does not, that are fans of the show that don't historically do well.

[00:39:01] They don't do well on this show.

[00:39:02] Oh, you mean like Alexandra and Sheridan?

[00:39:04] Yes.

[00:39:05] Who are still somewhere.

[00:39:06] God knows we're deciding who does that first.

[00:39:08] But listen, I love them. Like I really do love them. And I feel like I also feel like their family is going to be, you know, like with Morgan and Lena last season, the way their family group chat will go off door. Oh, and that's who, um, I'm sorry. That's who

[00:40:21] Karishma and her cousin remind me a little bit of Morgan and Lena.

[00:41:22] You know how I feel about a father's always dream. We have Chris and Mary.

[00:41:25] Chris, it sounds like-

[00:41:26] Well girl, I hate to cut you off.

[00:41:28] Before we even go any farther,

[00:41:34] it's just something about Chris

[00:41:36] that I feel like I'm just going to love.

[00:41:41] I feel like Chris is going to be a combination

[00:41:44] of Rob and Steve.

[00:41:47] Like I feel like Chris is going to, he might be a little older, but he's going to give some of these younger people a run for their money. I feel like he's going to, I sometimes feel like I'm just psychic, but I feel like this doing the amazing race is going to do like worlds, uh, for their relationship.

[00:43:05] They may already have a great relationship now fun season. I feel like we have such a mix of people that I'm gonna love. I feel like I could cut some people out. And again, if any of the races are watching, sometimes I do get a little emotional.

[00:44:22] So I may cut shit out from episode to episode,
