[00:02:23] But this week, Miss Barb is here with a very special message of encouragement to the Purple Pants Posse.

[00:03:13] This is Miss Barb.

[00:03:14] And this morning, I was awakened by the news bearing the results of the 2024 presidential election.

[00:03:27] The results saddened me.

[00:03:30] And I know some of you felt the same disappointment while others were rejoicing.

[00:03:36] But what we must do is keep our spirits high and never give up.

[00:03:43] We are wounded, but not defeated.

[00:03:47] So don't give up the fight for our women and equality.

[00:03:53] This is an uphill battle.

[00:03:55] And yes, there will be disappointments we will face as we climb this hill.

[00:04:02] But you must realize is that there in this battle lies lessons to be learned, which will help in leading us to victory in the next election.

[00:04:16] And we all know there will be a next election.

[00:04:23] I am so proud of the quick organizing, the support, and the love exhibited, coupled with the determination of working together for the common goal of placing a woman of color in the position as President of the United States.

[00:04:46] Do not become so discouraged that you take your eyes off the prize.

[00:04:52] So yes, feel sad and disappointed for a moment.

[00:04:59] And then pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and let's start all over again.

[00:05:08] Because nothing beats a failure but a try.
