[00:06:10] I am feeling great.

[00:06:13] I could have been anywhere in the world,

[00:06:14] but I chose to be with the Purple Pants podcast.

[00:06:16] So I am feeling delighted that we are at the end of the season.

[00:06:22] It's the end of an era and we'll talk a little bit about that,

[00:06:25] about like the changes.

[00:06:27] And I think all of our audience has been going back and forth

[00:06:32] about since the very beginning of the season,

[00:06:34] what changes are needed, right?

[00:06:36] And we're seeing. Yeah, definitely.

[00:06:39] Again, I think the MVP of the season and the MVP of the reunion

[00:06:44] was Mia and Gordon.

[00:06:46] I think that Mia showed up.

[00:06:49] She was transparent,

[00:06:51] although there isn't really necessarily a resolution with Mia,

[00:06:56] Gordon and herself showed up.

[00:06:59] And so again, I think that Mia was, in my opinion,

[00:07:03] the highlight of the reunion.

[00:07:06] Absolutely.

[00:07:06] She is not afraid to talk about the tough subjects,

[00:07:11] to scrutinize herself,

[00:07:14] to put herself out there on the table and her family.

[00:07:17] Chash, she put her kids out there, her husband,

[00:07:21] her baby daddy, her boyfriend, her radio personality,

[00:07:24] everybody, her best friend.

[00:07:26] Look, everything was on the table.

[00:07:29] OK, so yeah, it Mia came to the reunion.

[00:07:33] She let us know that she has not technically filed for divorce

[00:07:37] because they are going through something with their businesses

[00:07:40] and it has been recommended that they resolve that

[00:07:43] before they move forward with the divorce,

[00:07:45] but they are living separately.

[00:07:46] She is in a new relationship, not with a rapper,

[00:07:49] but with a radio personality.

[00:07:51] On market radio personality.

[00:07:53] OK. Be clear. OK.

[00:07:55] Who we see.

[00:07:56] And again, like we love it, there is a lot of like cliffhangers

[00:08:00] on these reunions with Mia, where Jeremiah's

[00:08:05] the paternity of Jeremiah is in question.

[00:08:09] Is it really, though?

[00:08:10] I just think like, inca dilulu,

[00:08:13] like that I mean everybody is saying it, you know, they say,

[00:08:16] you know, you got the baby.

[00:08:18] The baby got the baby got Gordon Fates.

[00:08:20] OK. Or whatever, which I thought was very interesting.

[00:08:23] You know, it's going to be a Mori episode of many Mori mystery

[00:08:28] about the baby.

[00:08:30] But really overall over these three episodes,

[00:08:35] what I really came to the conclusion of is really there was no

[00:08:39] resolution in some of the conflicts.

[00:08:42] So where do you go from here?

[00:08:43] Because I really feel like this whole season

[00:08:46] we have been hashing argument from last season.

[00:08:51] And, you know, we still talking about blue eyes with Shasha

[00:08:55] and right blue eyes still there.

[00:08:58] We still talking about blue eyes is in the dream.

[00:09:00] Blue eyes is the wet dream. OK.

[00:09:02] Blue eyes isn't fair. He's a wet dream.

[00:09:04] So we're clear. Stop.

[00:09:07] We're still talking about him.

[00:09:08] We're still talking about one in the hotel.

[00:09:12] Bill, we still talking about the shrines.

[00:09:15] We still talking about, you know, Ashley's trying to divorce.

[00:09:20] Right. Giselle and Chris, that sort of thing.

[00:09:23] The only really sort of new thing was, you know,

[00:09:26] Keanna throwing hand and what?

[00:09:30] And oh, and, you know, trying trying to get, you know, that was.

[00:09:35] Pretty much it. I agree.

[00:09:38] But I also have to say, Keanna, when she came on on the third part,

[00:09:42] she might have only been on the stage for five minutes.

[00:09:44] But Keanna did her job.

[00:09:46] She, in my opinion, she's a unifier of the core ladies.

[00:09:51] She's friends with Wendy Candace, Karen, Giselle.

[00:09:56] He had more. She did more than that.

[00:09:58] Could it? No. OK.

[00:10:00] Well, listen, but then when they talked about the incident

[00:10:05] with her and Deborah, Keanna said that she's never been in

[00:10:08] a physical altercation of her life.

[00:10:10] They said, why were you swinging then?

[00:10:12] Keanna said, Keanna said I was a tech.

[00:10:16] And so I defended myself.

[00:10:18] And so I appreciated that.

[00:10:19] Then when Ashley said that she was right at that.

[00:10:22] I just want to say that moves like that don't come from time.

[00:10:24] Well, I mean, listen, but for all that we know of Keanna,

[00:10:30] we don't know her to be a fighter.

[00:10:31] But listen, if you if you throw, if you not Keanna going buck.

[00:10:35] And so that's what she did.

[00:10:37] Ashley apologized.

[00:10:38] Keanna gave the shade of the season and said

[00:10:40] that Ashley is the master of apologies after the fact.

[00:10:44] And so it was just like the way that Keanna

[00:10:46] just was delivering the shade for me.

[00:10:48] I was like, girl, come on.

[00:10:51] And so we know that since this

[00:10:54] since the first part of the reunion has aired,

[00:10:57] Candace announced

[00:10:59] announced that she would not be returning next week.

[00:11:03] Focus on family, I think is.

[00:11:07] And yeah, you got hired.

[00:11:10] We are. OK, if that were the only announcement to come out,

[00:11:14] then we would maybe believe that she decided not to come back.

[00:11:18] Then the next day it was revealed

[00:11:20] that Robbins contract was not renewed.

[00:11:22] And so we know that.

[00:11:25] Candace's contract was not renewed.

[00:11:28] So like.

[00:11:29] News just got out and they just, you know, are trying to get ahead of it.

[00:11:33] But yeah, the contracts came out.

[00:11:35] They see what's happening on the reunion.

[00:11:37] I think, honestly, Juan didn't show up for the reunion.

[00:11:40] But Robin is out.

[00:11:42] I think that's it.

[00:11:43] I'm with you like Dorenda from Housewives of New York said on the girls trip

[00:11:48] on Paul, she's on pause.

[00:11:52] Yeah, for me and again, I love my girl Robin and I'm, you know,

[00:11:56] I'm sticking with my green eye bandits, but why not showing up this season?

[00:12:00] And I have to agree with Wendy.

[00:12:02] Wendy said some robin like the least that he could do

[00:12:07] after all of this turmoil that you are going through is say, baby,

[00:12:11] I will show up and take some of the hits for you.

[00:12:15] And Juan couldn't do that.

[00:12:16] And unfortunately, Juan is such a huge part of your storyline.

[00:12:21] And with him not showing up, it's like we're not able to get the full robin.

[00:12:26] Well, not only that, but like Juan also, that's a bad business decision.

[00:12:30] Dude, like this is a platform to, you know,

[00:12:33] a jump it off point for your other businesses.

[00:12:35] You ain't got a job, my dude.

[00:12:37] You need to show up to the reunion like she needs to stay employed.

[00:12:41] And you're part of you are part of the story.

[00:13:36] And I also just want to say to D'Atea, who is the executive of my estate

[00:13:40] in the untimely passing of myself.

[00:13:45] I don't want a funeral.

[00:13:46] I too want a celebration of life.

[00:13:50] And if we could get Michelle Williams,

[00:13:53] a destiny child, you know what I want to say about Michelle?

[00:14:31] ago, I had a co-worker.

[00:14:33] His name is Justin Carter and actually he works for the Shade Room now.

[00:14:36] So any of the Shade Room investigations when you hear this is Justin Carter,

[00:14:40] that's my friend.

[00:14:41] And so we always loved music.

[00:14:43] And so we would go back and forth on Twitter about little Kim and Michelle Williams.

[00:14:47] And we were going back and forth about Michelle Williams one day.

[00:14:50] And I really think that her social media or she thought

[00:14:54] us going back and forth was shade.

[00:14:57] But it really was love.

[00:14:59] And so I will never forget the next day I went online.

[00:15:02] It said blocked.

[00:15:04] I said.

[00:15:06] I haven't. I don't think I've ever been.

[00:15:08] I mean, like, I don't think I've ever gotten garnered so much attention

[00:15:13] that I've been blocked.

[00:15:14] So, you know, feel blessed that you were, you know, noticed.

[00:15:18] I don't know.

[00:15:18] I don't know what to say about that.

[00:15:20] That's just funny.

[00:15:21] It was very.

[00:15:22] I will make that appeal for your celebration of life to

[00:15:51] Giselle said it didn't happen.

[00:15:53] Then Andy confirmed that the producers, they were like, well,

[00:15:55] wait, hold on.

[00:15:57] Yeah, no, that didn't happen.

[00:16:01] Then the topic of Jason came up.

[00:16:04] I was unaware, but there were photos that were circulating

[00:16:08] literally days before this reunion that Jason was out

[00:16:12] kissing another lady.

[00:16:15] Giselle had stated that they are not in a committed relationship.

[00:16:18] They are friends.

[00:16:19] Giselle is free to see other people.

[00:16:21] I think maybe NECA or it was probably Mia asked

[00:16:25] Giselle, are you talking to an athlete?

[00:16:27] Like, yeah, I love it when she's just so straightforward.

[00:16:31] Giselle has been fortunate in relationship fire.

[00:16:34] OK, she has been cheated on and, you know, she has heard it all.

[00:16:40] She was married to Jamal Bryant.

[00:16:42] And, you know, in that case, the rumors were true.

[00:16:44] And so she knows how to deal with those sort of things.

[00:16:48] And she knows what's up.

[00:16:49] So I'm glad to see her setting up boundaries from the jump.

[00:16:53] OK, and not like fuzzy boundaries like, you know, Gordon and Mia,

[00:16:58] you could dip out, but only this if on Tuesdays.

[00:17:55] Guns ablaze and he wanted to clear the air

[00:17:58] and Gordon on this third episode came out

[00:18:00] and basically said he was diagnosed with bipolar.

[00:18:03] Two things I want to say about that.

[00:18:04] One, for an older black man,

[00:18:07] that's like your dad, Jatio or my stepdad.

[00:18:10] Like, can you imagine them acknowledging mental health?

[00:18:14] Right? Like, no, like not at all.

[00:18:17] And so for Gordon to come out and basically say bipolar

[00:18:22] can talk about his manic episodes for me as a black man.

[00:18:26] I'm like, I love that.

[00:18:29] And especially from an older black man

[00:18:32] and for him to be able to take accountability.

[00:18:34] I loved it.

[00:18:36] Look, I agree.

[00:18:38] You know, I jokingly said, you know, he came out as bipolar.

[00:18:41] But, you know, for you to acknowledge clearly,

[00:18:44] if something wrong with you, if you are locking somebody,

[00:18:47] if you are locking somebody in a room,

[00:18:48] someone's wrong with you, like point blank.

[00:18:52] And I'm glad that he was able to get the help he needed

[00:18:56] and understand what's going on because that's not

[00:18:58] that's not normal or acceptable behavior.

[00:19:08] I mean, it's medium size because although I just said all that I said

[00:19:12] and I stand by what I stand, I loved hearing about it.

[00:19:35] And we've heard Mia talk about, you know, how he doggedly goes

[00:19:39] after the business things and this is the most poignant thing

[00:19:43] that kind of supports this is when she talks about this isn't the guy I married.

[00:19:47] So clearly his behavior is different, you know, stuff like that.

[00:19:51] And that happens with bipolar, manic depressive.

[00:19:53] And then she talks about how he was on the couch.

[00:19:56] Sounds like a depressive episode.

[00:19:58] You know, so I can see the highs and the lows.

[00:20:01] So at a certain point in time, you have to take some sort of accountability

[00:20:04] either, you know, again, you're just a bad person or something is wrong with you.

[00:20:08] You need to figure out what the heck is wrong with you.

[00:20:10] So yes, I do think it's convenient, but better late than never.

[00:20:14] I know.

[00:20:15] So I'm not mad.

[00:20:18] I'm not mad at all.

[00:20:19] And so that's really like kind of sort of what we get from Wendy and Gordon

[00:20:23] with Wendy, Mia, Mia and Gordon.

[00:20:27] Wendy.

[00:20:30] Or should I say Eddie?

[00:20:32] Because I mean, happy Eddie.

[00:20:34] Oh my gosh.

[00:20:35] Look, Eddie strapped his wife to his back and took care of her ass on the hill.

[00:20:40] OK, Eddie was ready.

[00:20:42] All right, ready, Eddie.

[00:20:43] Ready Eddie came.

[00:20:44] He was talking about his businesses.

[00:20:46] He was talking about his ventures.

[00:20:48] Look, Eddie, I think Eddie got an MBA because Eddie was ready.

[00:20:52] He hit his talking point.

[00:20:53] He was very concise in his message.

[00:20:56] He was delivering like it was a male group.

[00:20:59] OK. And that is why Wendy is still on the show.

[00:21:03] Why Wendy didn't get her notice and be put on pause was because not only does she

[00:21:08] bring it, which is medium, she's medium when she brings it.

[00:21:10] You know, but she also brings the rest.

[00:21:14] She brought a mama, she brought her sister.

[00:21:17] She brought, you know, all of that.

[00:21:19] So that's why Wendy stays and Robin goes.

[00:21:22] What Wendy did not bring was NECA though, so that we are clear.

[00:21:27] Wendy did not bring NECA.

[00:21:28] Now, I kind of was like feeling Robin for the majority of the reunion.

[00:21:33] I feel like even when her and NECA went back and forth,

[00:21:36] I feel like she stood her ground, although I was a little

[00:21:39] disagreeing on some of the things.

[00:21:41] But one of the biggest things that I have to vehemently, vehemently

[00:21:47] disagree on was when Giselle was talking about her father.

[00:21:51] And Wendy wanted to make this big spectacle about why I have nothing

[00:21:56] because when my mom was in the hospital,

[00:21:58] Jack and Giselle very clearly was like, I didn't know your mom was in the hospital.

[00:25:23] NECA said that we've been at several events together and I have met her.

[00:25:28] NECA even dropped the receipts that they were interested in NECA for

[00:25:32] Mary de Medicine and NECA's cousin or, you know, her in-laws were friends

[00:25:38] with LeBae, LeBae knew Wendy's sister and LeBae was trying to like connect them.
