[00:04:57] I've been good. Yeah. Have you been keeping up with survivor? I have been. I have been. It's way

[00:05:03] harder to keep up on the West Coast than it was back when I was out east because sucks being behind

[00:05:09] on Twitter. So you get all the updates really early and then you have to rewatch it, but keep

[00:05:13] it up and join the season so far. So I do have a question for you since you are on the West Coast

[00:05:21] West Coast when people on the East Coast and we're tweeting about survivor and we are very passionate.

[00:05:26] I always get very frustrated with someone's like, you spoiled spoiled.

[00:05:33] What's your thoughts on it? Because I feel like if you know when survivor is on on the East Coast,

[00:05:40] why is you on Beyonce's internet? No 100%. It's your fault if you get spoiled on those things.

[00:05:48] Like just stay off Twitter for three hours. Like go outside do something and then come back or like

[00:05:54] you can even whatever mute the keywords. I don't know how to do that, but

[00:05:58] The problem is I agree with you on Twitter, but Bryce is talking about like IG where the second

[00:06:04] a baby boy goes home who'll have like a 10 pictures slideshow of like my falling soldier Jelita

[00:06:13] I'll pull up Instagram just trying to so but so Instagram tick-tock and Twitter like stay out

[00:06:21] Is it my fault? Are there rules Bryce are there rules?

[00:06:25] Claire what you got? Well first of all take this is actually probably a bad take, but I actually

[00:06:30] especially now that the episodes are an hour and a half. I don't like waiting to figure out who

[00:06:34] goes home. Like it's too like my my attention span is too small so like I kind of like just like I

[00:06:41] like to read the end of a book before I start a book and like I read the wikis so I'm like

[00:09:15] And it's been you know, I feel like I've been I've been to what like I feel like

[00:09:22] And I went before I was on the show. I went

[00:09:25] You met jacket Philly before I went all the time

[00:09:29] Um, and I just it's always a good time always showing out like people

[00:09:34] Let loose live a little and it's just like such a fun time

[00:09:38] I'm like devastated that I haven't been to one yet

[00:09:41] I feel like every Wednesday I'm like itching for Bryce and one parties

[00:09:45] Question how do you feel about like

[00:09:47] What was it like being um on one side versus the other side like as you you used to come

[00:09:52] As a fan I remember that and then you were coming as a survivor. What's what's it like?

[00:09:55] Well before she answers

[00:09:56] I just also have to say if you know Claire

[00:09:59] I don't from my perspective there is no difference right

[00:10:02] Like I feel like when Claire came before she was on it didn't matter and after she was on it didn't matter

[00:10:09] So I just wanted to give back

[00:10:12] I acted like I was already one and those people on the show at that point

[00:10:15] But yeah, I mean being my fan it was like fun and awesome and it was so cool

[00:10:19] And like you can like fan girl and ever and so friendly

[00:10:22] But they do treat you like regular people's it's not like you know like

[00:10:25] If people were nice to me before after I feel like the big difference is like

[00:10:30] More free drinks

[00:10:32] Like I'd be like you just like I love to take shots with people. I love to drink with people

[00:10:36] And like I mean

[00:10:37] I had three episodes of like watch parties where I was on the show

[00:10:41] Oh, but I don't think I went to single price and one then

[00:10:43] But like people you know after I was off

[00:10:46] It was kind of more of like if people recognize me they're like a real one because it's a deep cut at this point

[00:10:51] Uh, so like I don't know but I think both sides like everyone's just so mixed together

[00:10:56] So it really doesn't even like feel that different

[00:10:59] Um except the like now. I know people

[00:11:02] The one thing that I appreciate the most about you Claire uh although we share were both third boots

[00:11:07] I definitely think there is a similar energy

[00:11:10] To our events there are some people that you know kind of are reluctant to go out into the crowd and to meet people

[00:11:15] I feel like you and I have the same energy one we're never hanging out because anytime

[00:11:21] I can look across the room and I can see Claire

[00:11:23] I'll be on the other side of the room. I see Claire

[00:11:25] Like where you're like me in the sense

[00:11:27] You're just all over the place meeting and greeting and having so much fun

[00:11:30] And I love like the next day of the recap seeing all the photos are like okay damn Claire was there

[00:11:34] Yeah, Claire was there. Damn Claire was taking a shot there like so it's uh

[00:11:37] I just love your energy wait such a cutie thing this reminded me

[00:11:41] I sweet baby Charlie was such a patron of rice and land before

[00:11:46] He was on the show and I had this like cute little selfie with him and I like truly did not remember taking it

[00:11:53] Like he text like finally when he was on

[00:11:56] How cute do I look?

[00:11:58] Where was it?

[00:12:00] But when he was on like I was like oh my god

[00:12:02] And he was like you probably don't remember but we met and like he and his girlfriend were there

[00:12:06] Like he went to the boss someone's always and it's like

[00:12:09] It's so crazy like he was truly had not even gone out to film yet and

[00:12:13] We like he was probably early in casting when I met him

[00:12:16] That that's crazy and what's even more crazy about that Claire is that there are like four other stories like that

[00:12:24] Is one of them like just there's there's a couple other ones that have come to our parties and then they've been on the show

[00:12:31] We're just we just waiting for Jack to get out there so I can't wait to tell that Jack

[00:12:35] But I mean just in general

[00:12:38] It seems like not not for like not for legal purposes, but if you go to a price of what presents

[00:13:24] What the whole situation with this fake idol was and now you know that kind of helps

[00:13:29] Him continue his descent into

[00:13:32] paranoia and he's freaking out. We see him go have conversations with Kenzie and with Q just trying to get kind of a foothold in the game

[00:13:40] Uh, I would say neither one

[00:13:43] goes

[00:13:43] Spacato

[00:13:45] Mel

[00:13:46] Kenzie

[00:13:48] In Kenzie's defense she did reach out to Bony previously and just didn't get a lot back from him

[00:13:52] And so I do respect that she's like I'm open or with you but you got to be the one to cook up a plan

[00:13:58] Because she feels good with you know Tiffany and Q

[00:14:00] Q

[00:14:01] Somehow seems to motivate him by telling him he could be his

[00:14:05] Philip shepherd and that uh, what was the other quote

[00:14:09] Wackadoodles when uh

[00:14:12] Title of the episode. I don't know. What did you guys think about

[00:14:16] uh

[00:14:17] Bony's day of conversations following this tribal council

[00:14:21] I

[00:14:23] Was a little frustrated right just hearing them tell him uh, we didn't tell you this because we wanted to protect you and like

[00:14:29] I don't know. I just kept putting myself in his shoes and it's like okay. I understand it but

[00:14:34] I don't love it like don't keep me out. It just doesn't make sense

[00:14:37] But I feel like he is a special soul

[00:14:40] And I feel like he's just kind of winging it like he's off of he's going off of the fields right like he's not

[00:14:45] He's playing with his heart and so I can respect that and

[00:14:49] He there's one heart to give to him uh to his milky

[00:14:53] We're we're two millions of the way there

[00:14:56] Make it three

[00:14:59] Oh god, they're two five out of a million. He's got well

[00:15:02] I think he has he has two out there right

[00:15:04] Ben and Liz so that's six you know we're working on we could start a uh

[00:15:09] Like a uh you know from me for hearts

[00:15:14] Oh bono this man like

[00:15:18] He's not cut out for survivor. I don't think um, I think he's a really really sweet

[00:15:23] Individual that wears his heart heart on his sleeve and I think

[00:15:27] He's swimming with some sharks right now and like

[00:15:31] And he's at a place where these three people who are are playing the game right

[00:15:38] He and he actively keeping him out of things

[00:15:42] Now he's forming different stories in his head and he doesn't know what's real and

[00:15:46] So I kind of feel I kind of feel sorry for the guy. Okay, in defensive bono

[00:15:52] He's done better on survivor than I did

[00:15:55] So first up

[00:15:57] So that's based on how long he's made it

[00:16:00] Well, I'm just saying that yes

[00:16:01] So but then secondly, I will say one thing I actually am impressed by is like

[00:16:06] Although he does not know how to use the information

[00:16:09] He's at least like clock some good power dynamics

[00:16:12] And like I think of it all like I do think Kenzie is kind of like running the show

[00:16:17] And is kind of the like mob boss of that tribe and he is like at least seeing that he doesn't

[00:16:23] I think know at all what to do with that information, but like

[00:16:27] I feel like there's other people are really truly running around and don't understand anything like

[00:16:30] He's like seeing it. He just literally just cries and can't fix it

[00:16:35] So my question though

[00:16:37] Is that a strategy right like could you have a strategy and not

[00:16:41] Know what's a strategy, but it still be a strategy right because I feel like

[00:16:47] It's not a strategy

[00:16:50] Good well for you

[00:16:53] Fumble your way into something good, but that's not a strategy though. I think strategy is like intention behind it

[00:16:59] All right, so the answer me this right if you are walking on a path

[00:17:04] And you don't know

[00:17:07] And you don't know where you're going right like so if you're walking on a path that's it's paved

[00:17:12] You still walking on a path, but if you like venture off into the woods and it's not paved and you're kind of just figuring out

[00:17:18] Are you still walking?

[00:17:20] You're not if you're not if you go with knowledge. It's not you're not strategizer. Yes, you're still walking to answer your question

[00:17:28] Still walking

[00:17:30] But that's like it's surviving you would still be playing but you

[00:17:34] You're also not walking on the path

[00:17:36] Right

[00:17:38] You find a shortcut just at a coincidence that doesn't mean you strategize finding the shortcut. That means you got like kind of luck

[00:17:45] But if you didn't go off the path, you wouldn't have found the shortcut so

[00:17:53] But you might have found like

[00:17:58] Casm that you fall into and never get back on the path like that's a possibility too

[00:18:03] Okay

[00:18:06] Saying that he was his Philip that was crazy right

[00:18:11] But also I mean

[00:18:13] I mean, I love a Philip Shepard so like I

[00:18:17] I

[00:18:18] Would have been honored

[00:18:21] It's I just have that picture of Philip Shepard is underwear like

[00:18:27] I

[00:18:30] But shout out to cue though, right? Like I feel like Q season opportunity

[00:18:34] We know Q is not here for Ken Z or he feels like

[00:18:38] She's going to turn against him and so like I like the fact that Q was like listen

[00:18:43] We don't know what path we are but we walk it. We're gonna find a path

[00:18:47] We're gonna walk you want to push your left foot front of your right foot. We're gonna walk

[00:18:52] Yes, for us here his Q's motivation was it did seem to get

[00:18:55] Get Bony motivated and I like that Q didn't really throw him strategy, but he was like

[00:19:00] Let's keep pushing let's win like we could do this

[00:19:02] But he wasn't gonna like throw out of name

[00:19:04] Which I think was part so my last take to that right the difference between a Q and a Ken Z right where I feel like

[00:19:10] Ken Z was like come on. What do you want? I mean like you know she's that mermaid like what's up?

[00:19:15] What do you need and very clearly he's like I want to work with you and she's like whoa you got

[00:19:20] However with Q I feel like Q recognizes

[00:19:25] Bonyu and it's like that's not the strategy. I'm gonna take with you. I like

[00:19:29] Follow my lead like you know what I mean?

[00:19:31] Like so it's like I really can see the coach and Q just in those very specific little moments

[00:19:36] Where it's like I feel like he knew not to be like well, what do you think you who you got what you want

[00:19:41] It's more like come with me do these pushups, you know stretch your leg and go for this wall

[00:19:46] Yes, but it's what it's tough in the new era with these six like consistent

[00:19:51] tribes of six where if you get down to like four and the other people are just tight

[00:19:56] You there's not really much wiggle room, you know

[00:19:58] Like whereas a tribe of 10 there could be a dominant alliance. You could be in a minority

[00:20:01] But you might be in a minority of three and you have a couple allies that are also on the bottom with you

[00:20:07] But now it's like you could be on the bottom by yourself and there's not a lot of options

[00:20:11] Even when it's six on that tribe, it's a hard little wiggle room

[00:20:20] I see people discussing this. I love a three tribe season

[00:20:24] But in the new era it's just been very repetitive

[00:20:30] It's good style

[00:20:32] I just it's three tribes would be like fun

[00:20:35] It's just like especially after you saw like such a good loser story with like Tiko most like when you or like actually last season

[00:20:43] Like watching Emily and Caleb dwindle like

[00:20:46] The losers to like integrating like storyline is just happening every season

[00:20:52] And so it's like now every time I'm comparing there like I literally was sitting there comparing this whole exact episode

[00:20:57] To the exact same episode we saw with like jam Josh and

[00:21:02] Yeah, until like it's just like

[00:21:05] It was purple tribe like it just looked so similar that it was a little like okay

[00:21:10] Like we're getting a little repetitive

[00:21:12] Yeah, and it's like at least four or five of the new eras seasons have had a tribe. They're just kind of gets decimated

[00:21:18] And yeah, it's just kind of even the fact that like they use the same tribe colors every season

[00:21:25] I'm like just mix that up so I can be like oh

[00:21:27] Bryce was on the the pink tribe

[00:21:30] Like I can remember that he was on that tribe with other other pink people

[00:21:33] Now it's like okay red blue yellow purple green orange and then like

[00:21:37] It's just all kind of blends together, but I

[00:21:41] Can we talk about the orrest tribe? Yeah, let's let's bounce over to the orange tribe. We got

[00:21:47] a boy Bryce

[00:21:49] because I

[00:21:51] Would you want to talk about the orange? Well, I just feel like I just need to make some

[00:22:42] And that's one. I mean one Claire. I've never seen somebody out there on that island build such nice

[00:22:52] I was like wow, I've just never seen a woodworker

[00:22:55] Uh work so well with wood and I just was

[00:23:00] Wow, you know, I just wanted to be a puzzle piece and hunt as closet or something like

[00:23:07] On February 27th. I became

[00:23:55] Strictly be out there just being a man's man and building stuff. I mean because I I need a new master
