[00:04:04] And I was taking notes on a plane

[00:04:42] Because there is nothing more annoying

[00:04:44] In my opinion

[00:04:46] And you have to get up

[00:04:48] To go to the bathroom for someone else

[00:04:50] That is respectful of you

[00:04:52] Most people don't have that forethought

[00:04:54] Because I

[00:04:56] Unless it's a really long flight

[00:04:58] Then I'm a window person

[00:05:00] I'm an aisle person otherwise

[00:05:02] Because I just too much information

[00:05:04] My bladder is small

[00:05:06] And so I have to pee like four times

[00:05:08] Honestly here in my home

[00:05:10] I'll pee once a day

[00:05:12] Why am I sharing this

[00:05:14] I have to pee twice a day

[00:05:16] You know, in my home

[00:05:18] I don't have a lot of time

[00:05:20] But I have to pee once a day

[00:05:24] Because I don't have the time

[00:05:26] To go to the bathroom

[00:05:28] Like it's every 14 seconds

[00:05:30] And so I would be the person getting up over people

[00:05:32] And I don't believe in doing that

[00:05:34] But on a really long flight

[00:05:38] I will fall asleep

[00:05:40] By use of whatever means necessary

[00:05:42] I don't have to go to the bathroom

[00:05:44] But let me get on the airplane

[00:05:48] And then I'm like

[00:05:54] We've already got off the rails

[00:05:56] For anyone who's still paying attention

[00:06:04] I have a lot of thoughts on this episode

[00:06:06] It's a sad episode for me

[00:06:08] Also a very happy episode

[00:06:10] If you know why I would be happy

[00:06:12] But all of a really good episode

[00:06:14] I feel like

[00:06:16] Just my overall thoughts before we get into it

[00:06:18] I think that obviously we know who at the top

[00:06:20] Okay

[00:06:22] But it's interesting to start seeing

[00:06:24] The changes in the teams

[00:06:26] In the middle

[00:06:28] And you know how I feel

[00:06:30] I feel like in the beginning of the season

[00:06:32] The team that is at the top

[00:06:34] I don't think they are going to win

[00:06:36] Although I do want them to win

[00:06:38] They're not going anywhere

[00:06:40] There's no movement at the top

[00:06:42] But I feel like it's that team

[00:06:44] That kind of like maybe 7th, 8th, 5th, 6th, 4th, 3rd

[00:06:48] That kind of starts moving up

[00:06:50] And then gets that stride

[00:06:52] Because again just from the seasons

[00:06:54] Of amazing race that I have watched

[00:06:56] I feel that when you are

[00:06:58] The team to beat

[00:07:00] It's the underdogs

[00:07:02] The underdogs really can mentally start messing with the people

[00:07:04] At the top

[00:07:06] It's just interesting to see

[00:07:08] Although I love the top team and I don't want them to go

[00:07:10] Nowhere

[00:07:12] They speak the language

[00:07:14] They have such advantages

[00:07:16] Their relationship

[00:07:18] Lends to stressful environments

[00:07:20] It's crazy

[00:07:22] It's literally like Ricky's parents

[00:07:24] And Caesar's parents

[00:07:26] They literally gave birth to amazing race players

[00:07:28] And then they met

[00:07:30] And then they became this awesome team

[00:07:32] Super player

[00:07:34] It really is

[00:07:36] They are a super player and I love it

[00:07:38] I love Ricky but I love

[00:07:40] Caesar's personality

[00:07:42] Is

[00:07:44] Hilarious and funny to me

[00:07:46] And I love Ricky's

[00:07:48] Com-collective

[00:07:50] But you can see when Ricky gets like

[00:07:52] You can see it

[00:07:54] And I just love their dynamic

[00:07:56] But also I love a lot of the other teams' dynamics as well

[00:07:58] And we will get into them

[00:08:00] But I just get so nervous bro

[00:08:02] I love Ricky and Caesar

[00:08:04] But it's like I know how

[00:08:06] When you're at the top

[00:08:08] It's hard to

[00:08:10] Just with the pressure alone

[00:08:12] But anyway, I'll let you take it away

[00:08:14] So I will say this is the first time

[00:08:16] And I took a note somewhere in here

[00:08:22] Where we see Ricky and Caesar have

[00:08:28] Like yes! They're falling apart

[00:08:30] I love them and if they win

[00:08:32] I'll be so happy but it's just so nice

[00:08:34] To see like perfection

[00:08:36] Be slightly imperfect for a hot second

[00:08:40] Comes back because

[00:08:42] Their communication skills and they work through it

[00:11:38] Is it an advantage to speak

[00:11:40] The local language and I'm realizing

[00:11:42] Of the four teams that went home

[00:11:44] None of them have a fluent Spanish speaker

[00:11:46] Like I mean I guess Rowan

[00:11:48] And Maya one took

[00:11:50] Spanish and one took French in high school

[00:11:52] Maybe they just didn't get a chance to use it

[00:11:54] Because they were stuck turning their car

[00:11:56] Around

[00:11:58] They miss drivers

[00:12:00] And also shout out to Maya

[00:12:02] Myles with us in Pittsburgh

[00:12:04] And I love Maya is my girl

[00:12:06] But yeah they took Spanish and French

[00:12:08] But they skipped drivers Ed

[00:12:10] But also Maya

[00:12:12] Admittedly told me

[00:12:14] She was pissed

[00:12:16] She wasn't I'm just making that up

[00:12:18] But she told me that she got the car

[00:12:20] Out

[00:12:22] Because I was like girl

[00:12:24] Did a producer jump in and get your car

[00:12:26] Out and she was like no

[00:12:28] See you're doing your investigative journalism

[00:12:32] I'm glad that they got the car

[00:12:34] Maybe they would have had an advantage

[00:12:36] Had they been able to keep racing

[00:12:38] But for anyone who's like

[00:12:40] It doesn't matter if you speak the local language

[00:12:42] Remember when Victor was on

[00:12:44] Was it two seasons ago

[00:12:46] Whatever last season

[00:12:48] Victor and Jocelyn

[00:12:50] And they went to whatever

[00:12:52] Country in Asia and he

[00:12:54] Spoke some variation of the language

[00:12:56] And everyone was like not fair

[00:12:58] Like Edda

[00:13:00] Not okay

[00:13:02] It's not his fault

[00:13:04] And it's not the racers fault this season

[00:13:06] They don't choose where they're going

[00:13:08] But for anyone who says

[00:13:10] You're not in a little bit of a better position

[00:13:12] If you can easily ask any local

[00:13:14] Where you're going or

[00:13:16] Have a conversation without having to get somebody

[00:13:18] On their iPhone and hope that they speak English

[00:13:20] Like

[00:13:22] It is an advantage

[00:13:24] Is it an unfair advantage

[00:13:26] Well no it's not the contestants fault

[00:13:28] But when you're staying the entire season

[00:13:30] In countries where Spanish

[00:13:32] Or some variation of Spanish is the

[00:13:34] Dominant language

[00:13:36] I feel that

[00:13:38] If I were on this season

[00:13:40] And I mean I speak passable

[00:13:42] Spanish like I understand more

[00:13:44] Than I speak it but

[00:13:46] I would be

[00:13:48] Annoying

[00:13:50] If I had a partner who didn't speak it either

[00:13:52] Two things do we know

[00:13:54] Are we staying in Spanish

[00:13:56] Predominantly Spanish speaking countries

[00:13:58] For the rest of the season do we know that or we don't know

[00:14:00] I mean yeah Barbados

[00:14:02] And it is probably

[00:14:04] The most northern yeah everything

[00:14:06] Is that quadrant

[00:14:08] So here's the thing that I will say

[00:14:10] Because is it a vantage

[00:14:12] To

[00:14:14] Us Americans or people that speak

[00:14:16] English as their primary language

[00:14:18] When we go to these European countries

[00:14:20] And you know the European

[00:14:22] Countries like English

[00:14:24] Is the international language so if someone

[00:14:26] If English isn't your first language

[00:14:28] And you say your natural

[00:14:30] Tongue is another language

[00:14:32] And English is your second language

[00:14:34] Isn't that strong and then say we have a whole European

[00:14:36] Like

[00:14:38] Where although it might not be

[00:14:40] English is the first native

[00:14:42] Tongue but if

[00:14:44] Is the international language and

[00:14:46] 70% of the people speak it is that

[00:14:48] An advantage

[00:14:50] No everyone

[00:14:52] Everyone has someone on their team that speaks fluent

[00:14:54] English everyone speaks fluent

[00:14:56] English even some of our

[00:14:58] English is their second language they all speak

[00:15:00] Fluid I mean I love you
