[00:02:04] We are back this week. I am joined by my co-host and Survivor Philadelphia Season 3 contestant, Timmy Bridgman, and we are talking all things episode 5.

[00:02:14] We are talking the immunity challenge, island hopping. We are talking the cameo appearances by Survivor 43, James Jones, and Survivor Kageyan, myself, Bryce Isaiah.

[00:02:27] We're talking the hidden immunity idol. We're talking this dilemma of tribal council.

[00:02:31] Ooh, we're talking the sneaky stranger in our house. So much more.

[00:02:36] So listen, let's get into this week's recap of Survivor Philadelphia Season 3, Episode 5.

[00:02:47] Survivor Philadelphia.

[00:02:50] Second season of Survivor Philadelphia.

[00:02:53] The Philadelphia Eagles are super motion.

[00:02:59] This is a drive to the deep left field by Castellanos.

[00:03:02] And the fun is on for the idol.

[00:03:05] But it ain't about how hard you hit.

[00:03:08] The winner of Survivor Philadelphia.

[00:03:10] The winner of Survivor Philadelphia Season 2.

[00:03:13] It ain't about how hard you can get hit.

[00:03:15] And keep moving forward.

[00:03:17] How much you can pay?

[00:03:18] Survivor, Survivor, Survivor, Survivor, Survivor Philadelphia.

[00:03:25] What's going on?

[00:03:26] We are back.

[00:03:28] You're not Philadelphia duo, because I'm from Philadelphia.

[00:03:32] He's currently in D.C., but by way of Mississippi.

[00:03:36] But your Survivor Philadelphia Season 3 duo.

[00:03:40] We are back covering Survivor Season 3, Episode 5.

[00:03:44] I'm so excited to be joined by Mr. Timmy Bridgman.

[00:03:46] How are you doing today?

[00:03:49] I'm doing great, Bryce.

[00:03:50] I'm feeling amazing.

[00:03:52] I'm ready to dial it up, just like this episode.

[00:03:55] So it's good to be here once again.

[00:03:58] Yes.

[00:03:59] Come on with the Robinette tagliners.

[00:04:03] Dial it up.

[00:04:04] I always love the way Alex G., who is the creator of Survivor Philadelphia,

[00:04:09] I love the titles that he picks, right?

[00:04:11] Whenever I see the title, I'm always like,

[00:04:14] when am I going to see it in the episode?

[00:04:17] Or will it speak to me?

[00:04:18] And as I'm taking my trusty notes for the episode,

[00:04:21] so I didn't really watch what the episode title was.

[00:04:24] But I saw that line by Robinette, and she was like,

[00:04:27] if Drake won 100, or we got dial it up like Drake.

[00:04:30] And I definitely wrote Drake on 100.

[00:04:32] And then when I went back, I was like, wow, that's the name of the episode.

[00:04:35] So I always love these little trinkets of what the episode will be.

[00:04:41] But this is a very special episode,

[00:04:42] so I'm excited to get into it this week with you.

[00:04:45] Very, very special episode.

[00:04:48] We see some very big, important stars come spend a little of their time with us,

[00:04:54] and so much more.

[00:04:56] But Bryce, the episode is great, first of all,

[00:05:00] but starts off once again at the sands of time,

[00:05:03] where we see Emma.

[00:05:05] Emma was just voted out of the game,

[00:05:08] and she comes into the sands of time.

[00:05:12] And for Jen, it's immediately on site,

[00:05:15] where Jen wants to talk about everything that happened.

[00:05:19] And most importantly, in this sands of time moment,

[00:05:23] we get to see everybody share their story

[00:05:25] and just connect across their differences.

[00:05:28] And I don't know about you, Bryce,

[00:05:29] I just thought it was a really beautiful, powerful moment

[00:05:32] just to see so many different people

[00:05:35] from so many different walks of life connect.

[00:05:37] And I know it was a couple different moments there

[00:05:39] that I wanted to touch on,

[00:05:41] but it was just really great overall and really beautiful.

[00:05:44] Absolutely.

[00:05:45] You know, I love representation.

[00:05:47] I think representation is so important.

[00:05:49] And so I love to hear people's stories.

[00:05:51] Sometimes you can't judge a book by its cover.

[00:05:54] However, I do think Emma didn't have

[00:05:57] but three seconds before she walked into the sands of time.

[00:06:01] First of all, she was confronted by Jen,

[00:06:03] but before she was confronted by Jen,

[00:06:05] Amir said, did you write my name?

[00:06:07] Okay.

[00:06:07] Amir wanted answers.

[00:06:09] And I love it.

[00:06:10] And I really want to start a

[00:06:12] we the people petition.com or .org

[00:06:15] because I really feel like the sands of time

[00:06:18] really should be Jen of time

[00:06:20] because it's like y'all thought y'all was voting Jen out first.

[00:06:25] But baby, little do y'all know,

[00:06:27] Jen is getting more screen time

[00:06:29] than most of Fairmount and all of Roxburgh.

[00:06:32] Jen steals the show every minute that she is on it.

[00:06:38] Yes, every episode.

[00:06:40] I feel like getting to see and hear Jen's stories,

[00:06:44] I'm like, wow, if I was in the game

[00:06:45] and she was in the game,

[00:06:47] we both were there at the same time,

[00:06:48] I would have been wooed over

[00:06:50] just by how rich and how deep her experiences have been

[00:06:54] and just so many different things

[00:06:56] she's been able to experience

[00:06:58] to just tell us about just overall in general.

[00:07:01] And, uh-huh.

[00:07:03] And O'Neil, I think, yeah.

[00:07:04] Go ahead, sorry.

[00:07:06] Oh, O'Neil is one story that really stands out to me

[00:07:09] out there is when we get to hear Kristen talk about

[00:07:14] being, feeling like she's a baby adult.

[00:07:16] And I thought that was just so cute and adorable

[00:07:20] because I feel her.

[00:07:21] She just signed her lease.

[00:07:23] I just signed a lease in July.

[00:07:25] I'm feeling like a baby toddler now

[00:07:27] instead of a baby adult.

[00:07:29] I mean, a toddler adult instead of a baby adult now.

[00:07:33] And to me, that was just so wholesome.

[00:07:35] But more importantly,

[00:07:36] when Amir gets to talk about his relationship

[00:07:39] with, like, his identity and being queer,

[00:07:44] but also being religious too.

[00:07:46] And as somebody who came from the South

[00:07:48] where even still to this day,

[00:07:50] some people might put two and two against each other.

[00:07:54] But in reality, it's kind of like, no.

[00:07:57] You know, I was praying with my grandmama the other day

[00:07:59] and then I still sometimes pray for a man.

[00:08:02] But that's a different topic, a different story.

[00:08:04] Come on, brother.

[00:08:05] So it was just beautiful.

[00:08:06] Let's just take a second.

[00:08:08] Father God.

[00:08:10] In the name of Jesus.

[00:08:13] Send them in.

[00:08:15] Okay.

[00:08:16] Send them our way.

[00:08:18] Oh, shut up.

[00:08:19] Okay.

[00:08:19] Oh, send them our way.

[00:08:21] Amen.

[00:08:22] Let the church say amen.

[00:08:25] I know that's right.

[00:08:26] Hallelujah.

[00:08:27] Mm.

[00:08:29] Mm.

[00:08:30] Okay.

[00:08:31] Because I still feel like a baby adult.

[00:08:33] I'm just trying to figure out where my man is.

[00:08:35] Okay.

[00:08:36] And listen, if you listen to the podcast,

[00:08:39] if you watch Survivor Philadelphia,

[00:08:41] I'm feeling like my man is probably in one of these episodes

[00:08:48] because in every episode,

[00:08:52] you get about four, five, seven, eight, nine goddamn dog walkers.

[00:08:57] Okay.

[00:08:57] Some of them.

[00:08:58] I mean, listen.

[00:08:59] Okay.

[00:08:59] That's the favorite part.

[00:09:01] And this is more of an insider joke, but this is specifically to Alex G.

[00:09:06] The favorite part of my episode or the favorite part of the episode,

[00:09:09] because it has, we are five episodes in.

[00:09:11] And every episode we get to see the cameraman, Dan.

[00:09:16] Okay.

[00:09:16] Dan think he is incognito, but Dan, you are not invisible.

[00:09:21] Every week we see Dan.

[00:09:24] If it's at tribal council, if it's, he's an all black,

[00:09:26] he's standing there like this.

[00:09:27] I'm like, look at Dan.

[00:09:30] Um, yeah.

[00:09:32] But yeah, hearing Amir's story was just really so special.

[00:09:36] It, uh, touches my heart,

[00:09:37] but it also just makes me so angry sometimes just specifically.

[00:09:40] Um, and I can only speak from my experience,

[00:09:43] like in the black community.

[00:09:44] And it's like,

[00:09:46] sometimes our families love to like want to condemn the gays.

[00:09:50] Right.

[00:09:51] Meanwhile, mom got four or five baby dads.

[00:09:54] Meanwhile, uncle Tommy over here can committing adultery.

[00:09:59] Meanwhile, yeah, you wasn't married when you had me wedlock,

[00:10:03] but y'all love to pick and choose what Bible verses or what of this and that.

[00:10:09] And it's like, the Bible is supposed to, to bring people together, not separate us.

[00:10:14] So it's like, I feel Amir, but at the same time,

[00:10:16] it makes me so incredibly like upset, right?

[00:10:20] Like it's 2024.

[00:10:21] We shouldn't have to go through that.

[00:10:23] Um, in the same time, Jen, God damn it, Jen.

[00:10:26] If I don't love you already,

[00:10:28] if I haven't fell for you already,

[00:10:30] like hearing her story about like her best friend,

[00:10:34] Butchie, um, during,

[00:10:35] I want to believe it's like the seventies or the eighties with the AIDS epidemic

[00:10:38] and her going to visit him.

[00:10:41] And it's funny because my mom shares this story about,

[00:10:43] I had an uncle Bobby that I unfortunately never got the opportunity to meet

[00:10:47] because he died of AIDS as well.

[00:10:50] And my mom has a very similar story where, uh,

[00:10:53] when he was diagnosed,

[00:10:54] like no one in the family, uh,

[00:10:56] wanted to deal with him just because they didn't know.

[00:10:59] It was kind of almost like, you know,

[00:11:00] we just went through COVID and in the beginning of COVID,

[00:11:03] we didn't know how you could catch it or what was going on.

[00:11:05] And so my mom always just shares these stories about like how uncle Bobby

[00:11:09] would be on the third floor.

[00:11:11] No one that lived in the family home.

[00:11:14] Wanted to deal with him.

[00:11:15] And my mom always says like,

[00:11:17] she was always the person that was like,

[00:11:19] I don't know how you get it.

[00:11:20] But at the end of the day,

[00:11:21] that's my brother and I'm going to support my brother.

[00:11:24] And so just hearing Jen talk about that and Jen going back home,

[00:11:28] putting on her police uniform to go feed Butchie.

[00:11:33] And as she's leaving after she fed her friend,

[00:11:36] seeing that,

[00:11:36] I mean,

[00:11:37] seeing that there are other trays on the floor because other people haven't

[00:11:41] eaten and she just still devotes her time to the community.

[00:11:46] It's like,

[00:11:46] Jen is just such a gift.

[00:11:48] And when she tells these stories,

[00:11:49] I'm,

[00:11:49] I'm like,

[00:11:51] girl,

[00:11:51] that's why your ass got voted out first because who wants to like,

[00:11:57] you're the perfect person in the world.

[00:11:59] Like,

[00:11:59] you know,

[00:11:59] like you are,

[00:12:00] she just really honestly has a heart of gold.

[00:12:03] Yes.

[00:12:03] It was so beautiful.

[00:12:04] Like,

[00:12:04] and even talking about it now,

[00:12:06] I'm getting teary.

[00:12:08] I teary in my heart because it is so beautiful.

[00:12:11] Which is more of the reason why ain't nobody go sit next to you at the very end,

[00:12:15] Jen.

[00:12:16] That in itself,

[00:12:17] you just being so great as a,

[00:12:18] as a person is just,

[00:12:19] you can't go to a jury and not vote for Jen.

[00:12:24] If you knew all of this.

[00:12:26] Absolutely.

[00:12:27] And she can't help but to talk about it.

[00:12:29] Like she can't help,

[00:12:29] but to like,

[00:12:30] you know,

[00:12:30] share her story.

[00:12:32] And that's the thing that I love about it.

[00:12:33] So I am very sad that she got voted out first,

[00:12:36] but I'm also so happy that she did because it's like each episode,

[00:12:39] we just get so much more of her.

[00:12:42] So it's great.

[00:12:44] Yes.

[00:12:45] And you know what else is great?

[00:12:47] I got my passport now,

[00:12:49] ain't been out of the country,

[00:12:50] but I know what I want to do.

[00:12:52] I want to go Island hopping,

[00:12:54] which is the title of this challenge.

[00:12:56] Island hopping.

[00:12:58] So one of the coconut,

[00:13:00] lime in the coconut,

[00:13:01] lime in the coconut.

[00:13:03] PG on the list for me.

[00:13:04] Maybe I want to go there one day is you got the Bermuda.

[00:13:08] It's so many different places you can go in the world.

[00:13:11] So I'm trying to travel.

[00:13:12] I don't know about you,

[00:13:13] Bryce.

[00:13:14] Yes.

[00:13:14] Well,

[00:13:15] you know,

[00:13:15] I,

[00:13:16] um,

[00:13:18] I'm a little older than you,

[00:13:19] but not by much.

[00:13:20] Uh,

[00:13:21] but in my lifetime,

[00:13:22] I've had to replace my passport,

[00:13:24] uh,

[00:13:25] because it's expired three times.

[00:13:27] Cause I got my passport at a very young age,

[00:13:29] but my second passport,

[00:13:30] I had to file for the extender.

[00:13:33] Cause I've been some places I've seen some things.

[00:13:36] So,

[00:13:36] you know,

[00:13:37] yes,

[00:13:37] explore this world.

[00:13:38] Sometimes I feel like we get so caught up and like our own little bubble and

[00:13:42] we like explore the world and take a friend with you.

[00:13:47] I know that's right.

[00:13:48] And something I want to take with me in this game is immunity.

[00:13:53] Because one at a time,

[00:13:55] a member of each tribe has to go head,

[00:13:58] uh,

[00:13:58] head ahead against a member of the opposite tribe.

[00:14:02] And the goal is to score points by throwing a sandbag onto a board that has different points.

[00:14:10] It's cornhole.

[00:14:10] Just say it's cornhole.

[00:14:11] Damn it.

[00:14:12] It's cornhole.

[00:14:13] Alex G.

[00:14:14] It's cornhole.

[00:14:15] Cornhole.

[00:14:16] Okay.

[00:14:17] Just say the arts and crafts department F'd up and y'all didn't get the circles how y'all

[00:14:21] wanted to.

[00:14:21] So y'all just,

[00:14:22] it's cornhole.

[00:14:23] And so I have a very hard relationship with cornhole because on my season of survivor,

[00:14:29] uh,

[00:14:29] cocky on,

[00:14:30] that's something that they liked to play in.

[00:14:33] They like spare time.

[00:14:34] And I,

[00:14:35] I remember saying,

[00:14:36] they're like,

[00:14:36] I'm from Philly.

[00:14:37] We don't play cornhole.

[00:14:38] Okay.

[00:14:38] Fast forward to a decade later,

[00:14:40] Ray Bay,

[00:14:41] survivor,

[00:14:41] Philadelphia.

[00:14:42] They play in cornhole.

[00:14:43] We play in cornhole.

[00:14:45] And it's a little twist on top of it though,

[00:14:47] because one of the spaces in the cornhole board has an advantage,

[00:14:51] a personal advantage for the first person in the entire game to get it.

[00:14:56] Not just in your round,

[00:14:56] but something else is a little different about this challenge,

[00:15:00] because it's not just an immunity challenge.

[00:15:04] It's a reward challenge.

[00:15:06] And we get to spend some quality time.

[00:15:10] If you win this reward with none other than survivor legends,

[00:15:15] themselves,

[00:15:16] Philly icons,

[00:15:17] the baby boy,

[00:15:18] Bryce Isaiah and James to the James to the James to the Jones.

[00:15:23] Okay.

[00:15:24] As part of our award with some candy as well.

[00:15:27] With some candy.

[00:15:28] First of all,

[00:15:28] it was my run up for me.

[00:15:30] Okay.

[00:15:30] Well,

[00:15:31] I have to like,

[00:15:32] in my mind,

[00:15:33] I was like,

[00:15:33] Ooh,

[00:15:34] I'm going to give them some Baywatch.

[00:15:35] I'm going to be like,

[00:15:36] I watched a video back.

[00:15:40] Hey,

[00:15:43] but yeah,

[00:15:44] it was so fun to see everyone out there.

[00:15:47] I was cracking up because I don't really remember what I said,

[00:15:50] but not me talk about.

[00:15:52] Okay.

[00:15:52] 92.

[00:15:53] And of course,

[00:15:54] you know,

[00:15:54] Ryan ass is ready.

[00:15:55] Okay.

[00:15:56] Mind you,

[00:15:56] I didn't know at the time that he was an exotic dancer,

[00:15:58] but I was just like,

[00:15:59] Oh,

[00:15:59] look at 92.

[00:16:01] Talk about,

[00:16:01] I want to be in the zaddy calendar.

[00:16:03] You could be in the zaddy calendar,

[00:16:04] Ryan,

[00:16:04] when you drop the location of where your place of employment is.

[00:16:09] I know where your full-time job is,

[00:16:11] but where is that part-time job?

[00:16:12] We need,

[00:16:13] we try and figure out some.

[00:16:16] Yes.

[00:16:17] And I remember seeing everybody pop up.

[00:16:19] I'm so excited because inside,

[00:16:22] you can see it on the outside,

[00:16:23] Bryce.

[00:16:23] We talked about this on the inside.

[00:16:25] I'm like,

[00:16:25] Oh my God.

[00:16:26] Like we got to win this challenge.

[00:16:27] I'm so excited.

[00:16:28] I seen them on TV.

[00:16:30] I follow Bryce on Twitter.

[00:16:31] Bryce,

[00:16:32] follow me on Twitter.

[00:16:33] I'm feeling all of this on the inside,

[00:16:34] but my face is showing.

[00:16:36] This is an immunity challenge.

[00:16:38] We just won the last one.

[00:16:39] We got to win this next one too.

[00:16:42] And that did happen,

[00:16:44] Bryce.

[00:16:45] Okay.

[00:16:45] Well,

[00:16:46] first of all,

[00:16:46] they was accusing you with some things,

[00:16:48] this challenge.

[00:16:49] Cause okay.

[00:16:50] One of your pitches didn't seem like it was going near the hole.

[00:16:55] It should have been going or the,

[00:16:56] the,

[00:16:57] you know,

[00:16:57] so I need to ask you that.

[00:16:59] Were you aiming for that advantage to me?

[00:17:02] Because on there,

[00:17:03] you said no,

[00:17:04] but I said,

[00:17:04] Oh,

[00:17:04] I'm going to ask him right now.

[00:17:07] Actually.

[00:17:07] No,

[00:17:08] I wasn't.

[00:17:09] I wasn't.

[00:17:11] I know.

[00:17:12] I'm so glad this not throw Viver because we might've had it to need a

[00:17:15] different cast,

[00:17:16] but because you and Jasmine,

[00:17:18] you know,

[00:17:19] Jasmine is my girl.

[00:17:22] Jasmine,

[00:17:22] what board was you throwing?

[00:17:25] But no,

[00:17:26] I was trying to go low.

[00:17:27] It went a little too low,

[00:17:29] but yeah,

[00:17:30] it was not good.

[00:17:34] But I also felt like the other team was stacked.

[00:17:36] They had Ryan,

[00:17:37] who's a professional.

[00:17:38] Well,

[00:17:39] I think he works in finance.

[00:17:41] He used to play baseball and we know he's a private dancer.

[00:17:45] The sunshine just looks like he played baseball before.

[00:17:49] So I just felt like the tribes were a little uneven.

[00:17:54] Yes.

[00:17:55] And I will say no shade.

[00:17:56] I love my OG purple tribe,

[00:17:58] but when we saw the first throwing challenge,

[00:18:01] we saw how that went.

[00:18:02] So this time around,

[00:18:04] it wasn't super,

[00:18:06] super different,

[00:18:06] but we gave it our all.

[00:18:08] We tried our best,

[00:18:09] but ultimately our tribe,

[00:18:12] New Roxborough did lose.

[00:18:14] And New Fairmount got the chance to spend some quality time with y'all.

[00:18:18] While they enjoyed the sweetness of the candy,

[00:18:21] we were left with the bitterness of tribal council that was coming.

[00:18:25] But Bryce,

[00:18:26] I want to ask you,

[00:18:27] what was it like being back out there?

[00:18:28] What did you think about the New Fairmount tribe as you had some time to spend with them?

[00:18:35] So I was excited to be,

[00:18:37] you know,

[00:18:38] 10 minutes from my house.

[00:18:39] Cause you know,

[00:18:40] I live in Chestnut Hill.

[00:18:41] So that where that is,

[00:18:42] is very close to my house.

[00:18:43] Um,

[00:18:45] I was excited.

[00:18:46] I love to meet people.

[00:18:47] I love like,

[00:18:48] you know,

[00:18:48] I love the survivor community,

[00:18:49] but I was a little disappointed if I'm being honest.

[00:18:52] They was not saying much.

[00:18:55] They were keeping it so cute.

[00:18:58] Like,

[00:18:59] I was like,

[00:19:00] your name,

[00:19:00] Paige.

[00:19:01] Paige was like,

[00:19:02] if that's what they told you.

[00:19:03] I was like,

[00:19:06] I'm like,

[00:19:07] dang.

[00:19:08] Like,

[00:19:08] I'm like,

[00:19:09] oh,

[00:19:09] you sunshine.

[00:19:10] Did you paint the faces?

[00:19:11] He was like,

[00:19:11] I guess.

[00:19:12] I was like,

[00:19:13] oh,

[00:19:14] okay.

[00:19:14] Only person that wanted to talk was gay.

[00:19:16] And when Gabe was talking,

[00:19:18] he was just saying how horrible story he had and all of this stuff.

[00:19:22] And like,

[00:19:23] it's funny.

[00:19:23] I remember saying to him how it reminded a lot of me,

[00:19:26] uh,

[00:19:26] on my time.

[00:19:27] And your words have power.

[00:19:29] And I think that it's important for you to like,

[00:19:32] want to maybe make yourself seem attractable to this other tribe,

[00:19:36] but also like speak power into your life.

[00:19:39] And it was like,

[00:19:40] so interesting to hear Gabe as he did his confessional and was essentially

[00:19:44] saying back that like,

[00:19:45] you know,

[00:19:45] Bryce was like,

[00:19:46] I gotta,

[00:19:47] I gotta speak life into myself.

[00:19:49] So it was like really good,

[00:19:50] but it was fun.

[00:19:51] Um,

[00:19:52] I do remember now I will tell y'all this.

[00:19:54] I wasn't trying to cheat,

[00:19:56] but I was trying to cheat a little bit.

[00:19:58] So,

[00:19:59] uh,

[00:19:59] one of the PA staff,

[00:20:02] uh,

[00:20:02] I forget.

[00:20:02] I want to say it's Lauren.

[00:20:04] She gave me the kid.

[00:20:04] First of all,

[00:20:05] I'm scared of Lauren.

[00:20:06] I think Lauren from survivor season two.

[00:20:07] I'm scared of her.

[00:20:08] Uh,

[00:20:09] because when she was out there helping out with this season,

[00:20:12] uh,

[00:20:13] Lauren would be like,

[00:20:14] quiet on the set.

[00:20:15] I would be like,

[00:20:15] Ooh,

[00:20:16] don't say nothing.

[00:20:17] Um,

[00:20:18] but she gave me the candy and then she was just like,

[00:20:21] there's something in here.

[00:20:21] So like,

[00:20:22] you know,

[00:20:22] make sure.

[00:20:23] And so,

[00:20:25] when people's coming to get the candy,

[00:20:26] like I wasn't trying to cheat,

[00:20:27] but I was like,

[00:20:33] yeah.

[00:20:33] Are you looking for a Kit Kat?

[00:20:35] You know,

[00:20:36] you won't,

[00:20:37] uh,

[00:20:37] if you don't like chocolate,

[00:20:38] we got some like advantage caramel in there.

[00:20:41] You know,

[00:20:41] if you look a little bit.

[00:20:43] And the first person that,

[00:20:45] uh,

[00:20:46] got candy was Ryan.

[00:20:47] His old big back self was like,

[00:20:50] Oh,

[00:20:50] and I'm like,

[00:20:55] like no one took the bait.

[00:20:57] Like I felt like,

[00:20:58] am I doing something wrong?

[00:20:59] I took it so personal to me.

[00:21:00] I'm like,

[00:21:01] nobody is getting a,

[00:21:05] like,

[00:21:08] Oh,

[00:21:08] you,

[00:21:08] you sure you want this Skittles?

[00:21:11] Cause I,

[00:21:12] I,

[00:21:12] I hear the Kit Kat.

[00:21:14] That's just kitty cat.

[00:21:15] Um,

[00:21:17] but it might be at the bottom,

[00:21:18] might be at the bottom.

[00:21:20] You never know.

[00:21:21] But another thing,

[00:21:22] cause you know,

[00:21:22] we got to talk about sunshine.

[00:21:24] Yes.

[00:21:25] I'm keeping my mother.

[00:21:28] Effing.

[00:21:28] I've been saying this since episode one.

[00:21:31] When sunshine,

[00:21:32] when,

[00:21:32] when page got the chocolate,

[00:21:34] I mean the treat,

[00:21:36] uh,

[00:21:37] I just like,

[00:21:37] Ooh,

[00:21:38] page.

[00:21:38] God,

[00:21:38] I was like excited.

[00:21:39] But to hear that sunshine is the one that,

[00:21:44] put it in pages ear to check it.

[00:21:46] And then we hear sunshine in the back.

[00:21:48] Like,

[00:21:49] yeah,

[00:21:49] I told her to do it because I know that if somebody has it,

[00:21:54] it's something I can use against them.

[00:21:56] I say,

[00:21:56] Oh,

[00:21:57] he's,

[00:21:57] he's serious.

[00:21:58] Yes.

[00:21:59] Or it's something that I don't say anything and they know that they can build

[00:22:03] trust with me.

[00:22:05] I said,

[00:22:07] listen,

[00:22:08] sunshine is smart.

[00:22:10] That man is smart.

[00:22:12] I didn't know this,

[00:22:14] but it made so much sense for him to be like,

[00:22:18] I'm not going to be the one to find the advantage.

[00:22:21] I'm going to let you find the advantage.

[00:22:23] And I'm going to let you know that.

[00:22:25] I know that you got that advantage.

[00:22:26] So you ain't got no trust,

[00:22:28] but to,

[00:22:28] and you got no choice,

[00:22:30] but to trust me.

[00:22:31] Sunshine was playing this game.

[00:22:32] Like he,

[00:22:33] a mafia boss at this point.

[00:22:34] I feel like we,

[00:22:36] we should probably make a police report because I'm pretty sure that's

[00:22:39] blackmail.

[00:22:41] We might need to,

[00:22:43] uh,

[00:22:43] go get Jane from the Sands of Time and come take this man out the game

[00:22:46] because he just made a page sign a contract that she didn't even know

[00:22:51] she was signing.

[00:22:51] She didn't even read it.

[00:22:53] That's fraud.

[00:22:54] Okay.

[00:22:55] That is fraud.

[00:22:56] Sunshine.

[00:22:57] You ain't slick.

[00:22:58] You want some jerky,

[00:22:59] you don't get the jerky paint.

[00:23:01] They face.

[00:23:01] So they can't see.

[00:23:02] Yeah.

[00:23:03] Sunshine is playing a very smart and strategic game.

[00:23:06] And I am so interested to see.

[00:23:08] It's like y'all going to catch on to what this man is doing because they

[00:23:11] say puppet master.

[00:23:12] He's the puppet in the master.

[00:23:15] Okay.

[00:23:15] He,

[00:23:15] he,

[00:23:16] he pulling the strings and dancing.

[00:23:19] Okay.

[00:23:20] And speaking of strings,

[00:23:22] one last thing from this tribe,

[00:23:23] as they were talking in a group in the circle,

[00:23:26] they all state that they're talking.

[00:23:29] They feel comfortable with them five and they think they need to swing over

[00:23:33] one person.

[00:23:34] And they say Natasha.

[00:23:36] So Ryan Manfred and page were the three of the people who were all agreeing that,

[00:23:41] yeah,

[00:23:41] we need to pull in Natasha so we can have the numbers.

[00:23:44] If merge is right around the corner.

[00:23:46] So this is the state of that tribe.

[00:23:49] That's where leaving off,

[00:23:51] getting ready to head to the new Roxborough,

[00:23:54] where it's a,

[00:23:56] it's a war that's coming.

[00:23:57] We talked about the storm and smelling the rain.

[00:24:01] This time you don't need to smell the rain.

[00:24:03] You can see the rain coming down the street and the tornadoes forming right in front of

[00:24:07] your house.

[00:24:08] You don't know if your house going to stay there.

[00:24:10] You don't know if your house going to go away.

[00:24:11] Just like,

[00:24:12] we don't know if these two tribes going to stick together with the OG or it's going

[00:24:16] to be something else.

[00:24:18] Have you ever,

[00:24:19] do you like R and B music,

[00:24:21] Tim?

[00:24:23] I like R and B music.

[00:24:24] I really do.

[00:24:25] I like a couple artists.

[00:24:26] I like me some Tinashe.

[00:24:28] I like some other R and B artists.

[00:24:30] Yeah,

[00:24:31] I do.

[00:24:31] Have you ever heard of this song?

[00:24:33] I mean,

[00:24:33] you are a little younger than me,

[00:24:34] so you night,

[00:24:35] but it's a classic,

[00:24:35] but it goes something like,

[00:24:38] there's a stranger in my house.

[00:24:42] It took a while for me to figure out.

[00:24:46] There's no way he could be who he says you are.

[00:24:50] You gotta be someone else.

[00:24:53] Cause he wouldn't touch me like that.

[00:24:57] Mm-hmm.

[00:24:58] And he wouldn't treat me like you do.

[00:25:02] Have you ever heard that song?

[00:25:03] I have.

[00:25:04] I know this song.

[00:25:06] Okay.

[00:25:07] Because there's a stranger on this podcast.

[00:25:11] Oh.

[00:25:12] Okay.

[00:25:12] There's a stranger on this podcast.

[00:25:16] And here I am,

[00:25:19] you know,

[00:25:19] casting my eyes as sneaky,

[00:25:21] sneaky,

[00:25:22] sneaky Ben.

[00:25:24] But little did I know,

[00:25:26] I'm podcasting with a two-timing,

[00:25:29] lying son of a gun.

[00:25:31] Well,

[00:25:31] look you in the face and say,

[00:25:33] uh-uh,

[00:25:34] I ain't do it.

[00:25:35] Or, uh-uh,

[00:25:36] get somebody else to do it.

[00:25:37] No.

[00:25:38] I,

[00:25:40] who?

[00:25:41] Pinky promised Bryce.

[00:25:42] I pinky promised him.

[00:25:43] And I lied on the pinky promise.

[00:25:45] Mm.

[00:25:46] I lied on the pinky promise.

[00:25:47] So tell us about this debate,

[00:25:49] right?

[00:25:49] You know,

[00:25:50] they want the OGs to stay strong.

[00:25:52] And if they stay strong,

[00:25:53] it's three to three

[00:25:54] on this new tribe that Tim is on

[00:25:56] because they are going to tribal council.

[00:25:58] And they are trying to figure out,

[00:26:00] like,

[00:26:00] are we really going to go to rocks?

[00:26:03] And it's just very interesting

[00:26:05] because each tribe

[00:26:06] or each OG tribe

[00:26:07] seems to be locked in.

[00:26:09] We've got Robinette,

[00:26:10] we've got Tim,

[00:26:11] and we got Natasha.

[00:26:11] All three people that I like.

[00:26:13] Then we have Manfred,

[00:26:15] we've got Chalissa.

[00:26:17] Okay,

[00:26:17] because that's how you got to say her name.

[00:26:18] Because, okay,

[00:26:19] Chalissa.

[00:26:20] We've got Chalissa,

[00:26:21] and we've got Jasmine.

[00:26:22] Um,

[00:26:23] they're all locked in.

[00:26:24] Jasmine seems to be a little torn in between.

[00:26:27] Alex G,

[00:26:28] during this edit,

[00:26:29] doesn't really give us

[00:26:30] many names to go by.

[00:26:33] And Robinette is like,

[00:26:36] I'm solid.

[00:26:38] If I ain't never really been solid before in this game,

[00:26:40] I'm solid right now.

[00:26:42] You got to dial it up.

[00:26:43] You got to dial it up.

[00:26:44] Got to dial it up.

[00:26:45] And the people that she is working with,

[00:26:48] she trusts.

[00:26:50] Yes.

[00:26:51] Hmm.

[00:26:52] If in this game,

[00:26:54] Robinette is a DJ

[00:26:55] and she's one of her speakers,

[00:26:57] at that point,

[00:26:57] when it came to talking to the other tribe,

[00:26:59] she was dialed down.

[00:27:01] That speaker was on mute

[00:27:02] because she was giving them nothing.

[00:27:04] And the three folks on New,

[00:27:07] uh,

[00:27:08] Roxborough from the OG Roxborough Purple,

[00:27:10] they were trying their best to mix and mingle.

[00:27:14] But let me tell you how I was thinking about everything

[00:27:16] as I was going right,

[00:27:17] Bryce.

[00:27:17] So I'm walking back from the immunity challenge.

[00:27:21] We just lost.

[00:27:22] And the three purple is at the front.

[00:27:25] Two right behind,

[00:27:26] you got Natasha and Robinette.

[00:27:28] And right behind them is me.

[00:27:30] I'm trying to speed up,

[00:27:32] walk,

[00:27:33] uh,

[00:27:33] to get in the mix with my OG tribe

[00:27:36] just to see what's happening.

[00:27:37] And I really can't.

[00:27:39] So I'm like,

[00:27:39] they whispering to one another.

[00:27:41] I don't know what's going on.

[00:27:43] I just voted in the minority.

[00:27:45] I'm thinking all of these things.

[00:27:47] And I know that it's a three,

[00:27:49] three,

[00:27:49] one of these three got to come out on top.

[00:27:53] And if I'm not in the three

[00:27:56] or I don't feel solid in my three,

[00:27:59] some might have to change.

[00:28:01] So it's a lot of things strategic wise.

[00:28:04] We don't get to see.

[00:28:05] I want to let you in.

[00:28:06] All right.

[00:28:06] Okay.

[00:28:08] So what we don't get to see is

[00:28:10] me and Jasmine really bonded a lot.

[00:28:13] I was talking a lot with Jasmine.

[00:28:15] We talked about each other lives.

[00:28:17] We talked about being in divine nine organizations.

[00:28:21] We was vibing.

[00:28:22] Basically,

[00:28:23] that was my home girl.

[00:28:24] And I didn't even know that was my home girl at that point.

[00:28:27] And me and my home.

[00:28:28] If you can't go to Bella No Chase,

[00:28:30] then where can you go?

[00:28:32] Where can you go?

[00:28:34] And it seemed like we might've been at Bella No Chase

[00:28:37] because we voted together.

[00:28:39] But the big thing is Bryce.

[00:28:42] So I'm playing this game.

[00:28:44] I'm like,

[00:28:44] okay,

[00:28:46] it's the other people on the other tribe.

[00:28:49] They just voted out Emma and they got Gabe.

[00:28:51] So that's a solid group.

[00:28:54] And I'm thinking if I'm on a solid group,

[00:28:56] if our whole game is like a stack of books,

[00:29:01] then I'm the book at the bottom

[00:29:03] that got like the pages wrinkled

[00:29:06] and the cover is a little torn up.

[00:29:08] And you don't know if you want to keep it on your shelf

[00:29:11] or if you want to throw it away

[00:29:12] or just put it somewhere else on the table.

[00:29:14] So that's what I'm thinking.

[00:29:15] That's what I'm feeling.

[00:29:16] And I'm like,

[00:29:18] nah,

[00:29:18] it's time for a new edition to come out.

[00:29:20] And I knew,

[00:29:23] okay.

[00:29:24] And I knew that

[00:29:26] this is the big thing,

[00:29:27] Bryce.

[00:29:28] I was the person to throw out Natasha's name first.

[00:29:32] Yes,

[00:29:33] I was.

[00:29:34] Jen would never.

[00:29:35] Jen would never.

[00:29:37] I know,

[00:29:38] but I'm thinking

[00:29:40] I want to play in the middle.

[00:29:42] I want to

[00:29:44] get rid of somebody

[00:29:45] who's going to be a threat to me playing in the middle.

[00:29:47] And I recognize how great of a game Natasha was playing.

[00:29:50] Natasha was social.

[00:29:51] Natasha got along with a lot of people.

[00:29:54] Me and Natasha was cool.

[00:29:55] And Natasha was trying to get green to stick together

[00:29:57] because that was going to benefit her.

[00:29:59] I was thinking it might not benefit me.

[00:30:01] And if I can get Natasha name thrown out there

[00:30:04] and it's not my name thrown out there,

[00:30:06] if push come to shove,

[00:30:08] then I can choose if I want to stay green strong

[00:30:11] or if I want to go with purple.

[00:30:15] I've been a nasty boy.

[00:30:18] It's been a nasty boy.

[00:30:20] Is somebody going to match his freak?

[00:30:23] Okay.

[00:30:24] And I thought Ben was going to be that person

[00:30:26] in that round

[00:30:26] because Ben didn't have nobody.

[00:30:28] I didn't have nobody.

[00:30:29] So we headed up to tribal council.

[00:30:32] I had to make sure everybody seemed cool,

[00:30:34] calm,

[00:30:34] collected,

[00:30:35] comfortable,

[00:30:36] all the C's

[00:30:37] because I was entering my villain era.

[00:30:40] And we get to the voting

[00:30:44] and I wrote down Natasha's name.

[00:30:47] And when Natasha is getting ready to head out of the game,

[00:30:50] she's like,

[00:30:51] was it you?

[00:30:53] I'm thinking,

[00:30:54] okay,

[00:30:55] well,

[00:30:55] Ryan told us at the beginning of the game,

[00:30:57] he talked to Jen,

[00:30:58] right?

[00:30:58] So if they get to talk to people

[00:31:01] who was voted out,

[00:31:03] I don't want nobody to talk to Natasha

[00:31:05] and know that it was me who flipped.

[00:31:07] So I was like,

[00:31:09] no,

[00:31:10] like absolutely not.

[00:31:12] Like,

[00:31:12] no,

[00:31:12] like what's a vote?

[00:31:14] Did we just,

[00:31:15] and you,

[00:31:16] and me watching,

[00:31:16] I believed you.

[00:31:17] And I was like,

[00:31:18] oh,

[00:31:18] it was Robinette.

[00:31:20] I thought she was dialed up,

[00:31:22] but.

[00:31:23] Right.

[00:31:23] I'm like,

[00:31:24] okay,

[00:31:24] looking,

[00:31:24] look at Robinette making this big surprise face.

[00:31:27] Like she acting,

[00:31:28] right?

[00:31:28] You know,

[00:31:28] it gotta be her,

[00:31:29] but it was me.

[00:31:31] I even asked Robinette.

[00:31:32] I was like,

[00:31:32] was it you?

[00:31:33] You know,

[00:31:34] I had to keep the act going.

[00:31:35] I did theater when I was in college.

[00:31:37] I was doing plays,

[00:31:39] plays.

[00:31:39] I was on the stage.

[00:31:40] We flew to Rhode Island,

[00:31:42] did a play before.

[00:31:42] So I know how to act,

[00:31:43] Bryce.

[00:31:44] I know how to act.

[00:31:46] And you might have to give me my Oscar for that

[00:31:48] because I was trying to perform.

[00:31:50] Okay.

[00:31:50] I mean,

[00:31:51] I don't know if that was Oscar worthy.

[00:31:53] I mean,

[00:31:53] maybe,

[00:31:54] maybe a Nickelodeon's Kids Choice nominee.

[00:31:57] Okay.

[00:31:57] We got to see more because we still pissed.

[00:32:00] Okay.

[00:32:01] We,

[00:32:01] you know,

[00:32:02] we,

[00:32:03] we,

[00:32:03] the viewers is not Timmy.

[00:32:05] Okay.

[00:32:06] But listen,

[00:32:06] on the back of your shirt,

[00:32:07] I read this episode.

[00:32:08] It's the butterfly effect.

[00:32:10] So,

[00:32:11] you know,

[00:32:11] you're in the,

[00:32:11] you're the stages of your life.

[00:32:13] So I mean,

[00:32:13] right now,

[00:32:14] maybe,

[00:32:14] maybe you are in your villain era.

[00:32:17] Yeah.

[00:32:18] But it just like the butterfly effect,

[00:32:20] it came back because at the end of the episode,

[00:32:23] when Natasha is getting her exit confessional,

[00:32:26] she's like,

[00:32:27] I don't know who it was.

[00:32:28] I feel like it was Timmy.

[00:32:30] So I'm gonna write down Timmy name.

[00:32:31] And she wrote down Timmy name on that red block.

[00:32:36] And it said Timmy.

[00:32:40] It said Timmy on there.

[00:32:42] So we'll have to see what that mean in the future.

[00:32:47] But my name is on the block now.

[00:32:51] Timmy from the block.

[00:32:54] We will have to tune in.

[00:32:56] And the episodes for next week,

[00:32:57] there looks like there is a surprise.

[00:32:59] It looks like the sands of time have their time.

[00:33:03] And so we'll have to see what that means.

[00:33:06] But this was definitely a great episode.

[00:33:09] I keep saying every week that,

[00:33:10] you know,

[00:33:11] Alex G continuously does his thing.

[00:33:13] And this was an amazing episode.

[00:33:16] And it looks like the merge is on the horizon.

[00:33:18] And I cannot wait.

[00:33:22] Yes,

[00:33:23] I'm so excited,

[00:33:23] Bryce.

[00:33:24] I'm so excited to talk with you again next week about it.

[00:33:27] For folks who listening,

[00:33:29] you know,

[00:33:29] on the Purple Pants podcast,

[00:33:32] But you can also hold it down with me over on Instagram by following me at

[00:33:38] Timstagram B on my Instagram page.

[00:33:40] And you can also find me on Bryson William present page,

[00:33:44] you know,

[00:33:46] talking about Survivor.

[00:33:47] We got 47 around the corner.

[00:33:48] So yeah,

[00:33:49] Bryce.

[00:33:51] Yes,

[00:33:51] yes,

[00:33:51] yes.

[00:33:51] We're all excited.

[00:33:53] Uh,

[00:33:53] yeah,

[00:33:54] you know,

[00:33:55] we'll have to see what Tim we get over there on his content.

[00:33:57] Cause you know,

[00:33:58] he might not be that trustworthy,

[00:33:59] but we'll have to see.

[00:34:00] But again,

[00:34:01] I can't thank you enough,

[00:34:02] Tim.

[00:34:02] And I can't thank enough you for watching and listening.
