[00:03:01] HOP real housewives of Potomac season 8 episode 9 recap and I am joins with my

[00:04:06] that it's kind of similar to the way that Bryce and I became friends and involved in alcohol.

[00:04:09] Let me set the stage.

[00:04:12] Let me set the stage.

[00:04:13] Let me set the stage.

[00:04:14] Let me set the stage.

[00:04:15] We're in Toronto, you know, for Bryce and when we were premiering in

[00:04:20] Toronto, Jatia, Derek were both there supporting us.

[00:04:25] We appreciate them.

[00:04:26] And, you know, I'm running around with my chicken with my head cut off.

[00:05:24] Like you, you got blow the top of alcohol vapors in my direction. And then it's off.

[00:05:26] So I'm like, no, it is my duty to please that booty.

[00:05:30] So I'm like taking shots with Derek.

[00:05:32] Little did I know that Derek is not a lightweight, but I am never

[00:05:36] running back down from a challenge.

[00:05:38] So here we go.

[00:05:40] Four shots in.

[00:05:41] Have not left the hotel room.

[00:05:42] Derek's like, OK, I'm finally ready.

[00:05:44] And I'm like, I can go to sleep right now.

[00:05:46] But no, we get to the Uber.

[00:07:02] And then I remember, oh yes, this is our first Uber ride

[00:07:06] as a merry couple.

[00:07:07] Oh my goodness. like we do as a couple because that is our main, you know, theme as a couple. It's like, the team are telling things that I didn't even know. She's like, well, this is what he likes to turn him on. And I know that I also like that. But I like when he's turned on more like it was, it was something. But let me tell you, you have to know your partners love language.

[00:08:22] You have to know each other's love languages.

[00:08:24] Yes.

[00:08:25] So we have good life and love and laying on the couch saying, although we go to the end of the road as people are walking out.

[00:09:42] Look, I thought it was a nice send away.

[00:09:46] You know, like don't really have an option. Just, it's, you know, I call it sometimes I call it. Yeah, I throw, even that I throw not race. One of the other. I mean, listen, look, it's memorable. Whatever it is, it's memorable. That's the whole point. So I am glad to see my two favorite boobies on this

[00:11:00] chat together.

[00:11:02] And also I am glad to see the lady back at all.

[00:11:06] Austin. producer from Real Housewives of Atlanta and Real Housewives of Potomac who actually is like a friend of mine, Eric Fuller. It looks like he is no longer the executive producer. I am not sure if it was a mutual decision or if Bravo fired him, but that is making the waves and he is the showrunner and one of the executive producers for Atlanta and Potomac.

[00:12:23] A lot of the fans are speculating due to the lackluster season of last season of Atlanta And that sucks and I hate that. I really do hate that because Atlanta is not his problem. They know what they need to do. They're just not doing it. I think they need to reboot. They need to reboot. I say you need a reboot or you need to bring back the original people. And if you don't do that, you got to reboot it at this point.

[00:13:42] And Potomac's not, you know, I just feel like you're blaming it.

[00:13:45] Like where we know what decisions what I'm saying. Like what are we missing out on so much because here's the thing you brought in two new girls and they only did so much. They didn't even leave an empath. You brought back Shire. The Shire finally was able to do her fashion. But it's just like they're not holding enough. You didn't allow for you to come back because you were kissing Candies ass.

[00:15:02] You poor should left y'all asses.

[00:15:04] Y'all just lost. The young people. I hate not wanting to be your woman. Other women fight over a damn can of peace. I had my bad boy. I started watching New York again once they did the reboot. I really liked New York, the reboot.

[00:16:20] So I was there for a Jenna Lyon.

[00:16:24] I agree with you, Jessie.

[00:16:25] I enjoyed the reboot of New York. get you care unless do what we need to do. I I I I'm very glad we didn't talk about it though you know which is good but I mean like she said five percent you know the five percent. Look the five percent matters. I don't matter. I'm glad she's bringing it up.

[00:17:41] I'm glad she's on top of her her health.

[00:17:43] That's why he looked like that at triple 20. Okay, because Mia and Gordon and Robin and Juan went on a cooking class dinner date. And let me just tell you, Mia asked the questions Joan Rivers-Sorton was asking the. Yeah. I definitely got to give Mia her flowers, you know, her award because you know, that is what all of us want to know, even the women, even everybody else. And I just think Robyn was not expecting that from Mia, which I kind of like that. And that's the rawness that I enjoy

[00:21:23] I get it. But also did you catch how Bravo tried to be shady with him?

[00:21:28] They tried to get a Teresa Judi see moment with Joe Judi's when they were walking in.

[00:21:30] June ice.

[00:21:31] Teresa Judi's. But you know how she switched her name up because in season

[00:21:34] three of New Jersey, all of a sudden they were like, it's pronounced Judi

[00:21:40] say. So then she they were going by Teresa Judi say, and then they went back about him with the job thing. I really feel like it maybe why I called on and just kept saying coach, coach, coach, because I was like, why are we getting this conversation? Because I'll go to Swar. He said, Hey, babe, I thought the same thing. But you know what? I missed that. I missed the running back. Yeah, it definitely sounded like he said, Hey, babe, but, you know, Bravo was, I think

[00:23:01] it was just like he probably called on that.

[00:23:03] Obviously, like I'm being recorded.

[00:23:05] I need to say coach or something. through with him. But because she keeps giving him his scoops and his scoops and covering up, it's hard. I don't think that is what she's been doing since the beginning of her relationship. So I don't know. I don't expect her to do more. I am more happy that she's deciding on opening a business because clearly Juan is having a problem getting a JOB. He's talking to his bay coat

[00:25:22] Yes, yes.

[00:25:29] Now let's get into the other meat and potatoes of the episode.

[00:25:32] Wendy with her mother.

[00:25:38] Now again, I only watched it one time, but for me

[00:25:47] It was every word that come out your mouth. Please the elective procedure that her mom had. I would just like to point out that her mom is looking just a little bit darker this episode. So maybe I don't know what she had done,

[00:27:01] but she was looking real dark and she was looking real white and actually looking

[00:27:04] like medium. I don't know if it's settled or this is in a different timeframe

[00:28:02] I have a lot of kids and you forget which who name is what? I think that's what was like trying to make it seem like.

[00:28:06] I also want to say this.

[00:28:07] I don't think that, you know, I have a.

[00:28:14] Let me ask you this question, Derek.

[00:28:15] I just want to say like my mom's very forgetful.

[00:28:18] Like she has remember, she can't remember all of my.

[00:28:21] Derek, I'm about to eat you alive right now.

[00:28:24] Oh, Derek, if you were to call your mom, I'm just trying to say it's probably a little difficult when there's so much going on. I won't referee and say that I get both points, but the thing is it looks extra shady because clearly they have been talking about NECA and Labe and this don't like her. And she came in to make a story. I disagree. I disagree. I feel like there was a lot behind the scenes.

[00:31:00] And I feel like it is evident that clearly, I feel like, yeah, NECA came in hot, but I

[00:31:07] feel like I don't know her by making Eddie say I don't know her. And then by amping up her mom. And you can see that because I was if it was just she didn't remember the name, I would see that. But then when it came to the shrine

[00:32:22] line, she had that shrine line ready. like, I don't really know them and I would be, I'm gonna be honest, I would be like, I don't really know them. Like, and stuff like that. Because that's just how I move, because I don't want there to be any type of stigma of you want to have a conversation with me about something. But you might feel like I might have a close relationship with them.

[00:33:40] What is the difference to say, it's a difference in saying I don't really know them, but you know

[00:33:44] what, they're my favorite friend group now. So I'm open know you. I don't know you. They just like, you called me when I was managing Bobby Brown. And then of course, after the seasons come out, then Niemies like, well, of course I knew you, but I didn't know you. I just think. Where's the difference? Right. And so, but here's the thing. Wendy say that. I just think that Wendy, you're backing yourself up into a corner, and Bravo is using every bit of this.

[00:35:03] Because it was like this conversation with your mom,

[00:35:06] it's like, again, I'm going to say I love NECA. I like NECA. I wish Wendy had other things to talk about. That's not saying, but that would get your production that Wendy needs to go ahead and

[00:36:23] be friend NECA. So they can have something else. So I just wanted to just give a shot. You like happy Eddie. He doing better than the 16-week candles.

[00:37:40] So shout out to happy Eddie and his merch

[00:37:43] cause he needed to teach his wife a thing.

[00:37:46] I agree.

[00:37:47] I also think it kind walk and see you know. Look. So, Candace is on her way to meet with. Look, lucky one. Yeah, be Eddie and lucky one. That's the author to start getting mammograms at 40, but if you have a history of breast cancer, which Candace did talk about in the episode, you should start going earlier.

[00:40:24] So I was happy to hear her talk about that. I was happy to hear her be proactive.

[00:40:25] I think Black women definitely have to be proactive You love a lot of the messages that they run through specifically for women, but specifically for black women. So again, I appreciate Potomac for having this nugget of information. Just like in the last episode where they had the LGBTQ with a lot of the laws in Texas and them specifically going to Austin.

[00:41:40] So I appreciated that Candace goes to meet with NECA and I know you wanted my attention. I will say this, okay? I think because NECA is new and NECA doesn't have any ties to the rest of these other women

[00:43:01] and she hasn't done anything to her Candace or, you know, done anything.

[00:43:07] She just got here. She's new. Let me get to know her.

[00:44:20] You know, even I'm still going to respect the fact that, you know, you and my best friend

[00:44:24] ain't getting along, but I'm going to get to know you Robin has like, you know, and you were just attacking her to attack her. Any thoughts on that? Just to you. No, I mean, I'm glad to see that she has some sort of loyalty, but man, I, you know, she got an alliance, I guess.

[00:45:43] I don't think she would be saying the same thing

[00:45:45] if she didn't know somebody would see the actual, just I'm here for the granddomb this season. I'm very proud of her. And what was your friend Matthew? Oh, yeah. Matthew was. I'll wait with Jesse. Yeah. So Derek and I have met Matthew.

[00:47:02] Matthew is a huge band of Derek's.

[00:47:04] Uh, it was a.

[00:47:05] Yes. So yeah, my baby.

[00:47:07] Yeah.

[00:47:08] What's your, what's always talking about Matthew, but I didn't give a lot. I thought you were trying to say that Matthew

[00:48:20] was trying to push up on you

[00:48:21] and I was gonna tell him to let him know

[00:48:24] that you're a married man.

[00:48:25] Oh. I will go with Karen too, just based on everything. Of course I have my squad, but for the fact of how I've been watching and enjoying stuff, I would have to say Karen, Karen's been holding it down. What about you, just to you? Yeah, me too. Me too. I love Karen. And if I had to say all time, I would say, what's the girl who got into the fight with

[00:49:43] Candice?

[00:49:44] Monique.

[00:49:45] That's my all time.

[00:49:46] Monique.

[00:49:47] Yeah.

[00:49:48] I like the show. I have my people.

[00:51:00] I don't always like when my people argue with other people

[00:51:03] but it's not like I'm like, oh, I don't like this person.

[00:51:06] I don't like that person. I'm cool with this whole cast just remove NECA. That's my whole entire thing. I'm cool with everybody there, just remove NECA or replace NECA with somebody else at this point. Like, bring back Shur- what's her name? Sharice, so here's the same. Sharice, you need to be, it's gonna be, I mean, cause I know she's coming in later this season, but she should be like, I need her more involved.

[00:52:23] I am, well, Karen won't film with her,

[00:52:26] so you know you don't live in it.

[00:52:26] I believe that.

[00:52:27] I believe that.

[00:52:28] With a housewife and staff. I understand, hey, physical altercations, they happen. I don't think that's a reason to kick somebody off a show. That's partomically about. You know, you argue, you both, you both are in each other's face. You're both doing hand things.

[00:53:40] I just feel like you just got to

[00:53:43] understand its reality and

[00:53:45] reality somebody in your face.

[00:53:48] And they putting in hands of your the umbrella. We're walking against the green eye bandit. And we could see how her and Candace like people would think that her. Yes, they might come back and say get rid of Candace. I'm saying. Well, that's what I'm saying. I'm like confused because I'm like now what are we talking about? I definitely agree.

[00:55:00] Keep all the same girls get rid of NECA bring M.O.N.E. and then let that see how that goes

[00:55:06] because guess what? you guys, you know, like and subscribe. I'm always listening going. I'm worried. That's my little kisses to my boobay. Yeah, I totally enjoyed you having it was like to have another opinion. So even though it's wrong. Listen, I don't be agreeing with the tears take. So listen, I

[00:56:22] love it. The door is always open for you, Derek. And make sure
