[00:02:06] What is up we are back covering we are back covering the Real Housewives of Potomac season 8 episode 17

[00:02:17] Yes, 17 Jitziah Hart Teller Dr did see your heart teller myself have 17 episodes in this season in it looks like we have one more episode after this and the season is going to be wrapped up

[00:02:31] I'm already just thinking about fast words to the reading because so much so much to cover so much to cover but we are here back in Potomac

[00:02:41] Let's just get right into things

[00:02:43] Me personally watching this episode it almost seemed like it was the season finale

[00:02:49] It seemed like they were closing a lot of the doors that they talked about early in the season so I was a little confused as to like maybe why this wasn't the season finale but I think because

[00:03:00] They have to freshen up some fight you know they have to you know get a background fight which literally was in the credits

[00:03:07] So

[00:03:09] Because that's my one take with Bravo. I hate how you you you lie to us for three weeks essentially because we saw

[00:03:17] The preview to the fight last week and we didn't even see the fight this week and we see a preview of the fight for next week

[00:03:26] So yeah well gets to that when we get to that but you know all things Karen's health is doing well

[00:03:33] She got a good report from the doctor and Ashley and Jacelle are in the final stages of getting G and A together

[00:03:43] They have a

[00:03:47] Fat chance to have actual fashion show not just like sketches hanging from the ceiling all us she by charade real house wise Atlanta style

[00:03:59] I don't think anybody will ever have a fashion show with those passions because of how hard she got roasted by that so we actually have models

[00:04:09] For strutting themselves down the runway trying to figure out who's wearing what it looks like an actual show they have a designer

[00:04:16] Who looks like he knows what he's doing so I love that they actually showed the designer because you know sometimes when you have real housewives projects

[00:04:25] They can like they say to effort or they just like to take the credit

[00:04:29] And you know then that gets them a hot water as well then they like to make a scene like they created it so I do love the fact that

[00:04:35] Ashley and Jacelle did highlight this young designer and so we are in the phases getting ready to see the fashion show

[00:04:43] We see Nekka and Ike furthering their fertility process no this was a bit interesting to me now I know when you explain to me

[00:04:52] What's this process that Nekka is going through?

[00:04:55] I like as a woman of a certain age and you know I have had tons of friends who have done this I like I have on their fertility journey

[00:05:03] So essentially what it is is the man deposits firm externally in a look up that's why he was in the back on getting naughty

[00:05:11] And then you give you a ovulating drugs basically to stimulate your ovaries so that you know you're ovulating

[00:05:19] And in the doctor's office they take the fresh firm and put it directly into your uterus so to help them meet up

[00:05:27] Yeah I think that I understood it I just didn't realize that like the sperm was going to be inserted in Sineka

[00:05:35] Oh and so I'm assuming where the doctor reaches is probably maybe

[00:05:42] We're in same place as penis with the reek yes but the thing is that you can ensure that your eggs are there

[00:05:51] Because like when you do it at home you don't know if the egg if you you know our ovulating or not

[00:05:55] The whole point of IE lie is to introduce this firm at a time you know your ovulating

[00:06:01] So could potentially they make sure that you're ovulating and then Nekka and her husband could have just went into the bathroom

[00:06:11] Yes but they also ensure that his sperm is molded so that like the sperm is moving

[00:06:17] Okay

[00:06:18] So you saw when they looked in the little microscope and it was a lot so they basically sometimes men have motility issues

[00:06:26] But their sperm so they sperm that move so that also helps it along to put it in the right place

[00:06:32] Oh okay well yeah I uh it was interesting to see Nekka on this process

[00:06:38] And maybe we'll have an update in the reunion whether if she's pregnant or not but I mean Jacelle

[00:06:44] Cherice Ashley and Mia were just at dinner last night and they posted on the Instagram

[00:06:50] And Nekka didn't look pregnant and this was filmed months ago so did you look at her nose?

[00:06:54] So I mean I did you look at you gotta look at the nose the nose gives it away

[00:07:00] Well I mean actually she did look a bit different uh she had her natural hair out

[00:07:04] She did look a bit different but it didn't seem that she was pregnant but I don't know

[00:07:08] Maybe we'll find out something on the reunion nose

[00:07:12] I'm kind of the nose always gives it away

[00:07:14] I think it's like the hormones, the influx of hormones it like loosens your tissues

[00:07:18] It just kinda a lot of people make their nose different

[00:07:22] Yeah and then we have Mia and Gordon going back to therapy now this therapy session was very interesting and very telling

[00:07:30] Also for me the thing that kind of sort of frustrates me a little bit about these reunion or with these housewives

[00:07:36] Therapy is that so I guess Mia storyline this season is that they're working on their marriage right and so

[00:07:44] They are going back to the therapist now we know that they've been filming for months

[00:07:50] So if you are really working on your marriage and in therapy

[00:07:54] Should you have had more than two therapy sessions like you don't have me like I just felt like it was a little like spot like spot

[00:08:04] That this was for the camera and then we're clearly in two different therapy sessions

[00:08:10] Um, and it was very interesting about that I thought the most interesting thing that came out of the therapy session was Gordon controlling

[00:08:20] Beep when she said that last time I talked about divorce he emptied out my bank accounts

[00:08:26] I was like shock

[00:08:28] Paul oh my goodness girl let out of got my money since he would have been already get out of move all that money into a different accounting divorce

[00:08:36] I'm that for me that would have been grounds for divorce alone

[00:08:40] Right and just even hearing that makes me think well if you're capable of doing that type of malicious shady stuff

[00:08:48] What was you doing in that family business right they didn't just vote you out for nothing Gordon

[00:08:52] Yeah, and yeah just even hearing Mia say that right like

[00:08:56] I just feel like seeing Gordon in therapy he's so like well, I love you. We've got the perfect marriage

[00:09:02] And it's just like

[00:09:04] Anything is wrong because then if you have to admit it

[00:09:07] That means he has to work on it so and he's busy, you know, I'm still in his family business

[00:09:13] So I don't know I just thought like

[00:09:16] Girl girl run like damn the storyline get you a new storyline

[00:09:21] Yeah

[00:09:23] The rapper

[00:09:25] Another thing that was interesting to me was like when they talked about the intimacy

[00:09:29] And yeah, that just was really interesting because initially when the therapist brought it up

[00:09:37] I know she said intimacy but I inferred it as like

[00:09:43] How is y'all sex life right

[00:09:47] And so for him to just kind of go down that rabbit hole

[00:09:50] I mean one it told me all I needed to know and just even seeing Mia space when he was saying the things that he does for her

[00:09:58] Are clearly not

[00:10:01] There were two different sessions that's what happened

[00:10:03] He was in therapy with a last therapist and she was in the therapy with the new one

[00:10:08] Because everything and like can you not feel the vibe that whatever you are saying is not hitting home with your wife

[00:10:15] Who sitting right next to you but you in the loser land and you can't just come back. I thought that was very telling

[00:10:21] So they were

[00:10:23] You are shut up

[00:10:25] Holding hands and she said to tell Mia what you like

[00:10:30] I don't even know what he said but it was just very clear that things that he was saying

[00:10:34] Which all sounded great and we're amazing

[00:10:36] But you could just look at Mia space

[00:10:38] Mia has checked out

[00:10:41] Mia has completely checked out and so in the spirit of keeping you know mental health important

[00:10:48] Candace sees her therapist which was interesting

[00:10:52] Definitely anything him in a long time too because he never bit like yes this is the child is this therapy for the cameras

[00:11:00] But honestly does she have any other storyline except arguing with people

[00:11:05] Well, okay so two things I want to say before we even get to that one

[00:11:10] I was like oh this is we we have it first of all I thought the therapist looked great

[00:11:14] Because the last time we seen the therapist which was she was in therapy us when

[00:11:20] Look, I think he had a came in there was like slap slap you know slap up

[00:11:26] Like talking

[00:11:28] I thought the therapist looked good. I thought he looked great though. I was like oh like he had a nice little glow up

[00:11:33] But I'm so in camera last time he's like I can be better that's what happened

[00:11:37] And he was like not again did dear lower not not again. I'm a bee on point. Yes, he did look good

[00:11:42] He you know what I realized he was really short

[00:11:45] Because he was only a little bit taller than Candace

[00:11:48] Yeah, he had four years to get his glow up to get back on TV ready

[00:11:52] But I thought that's happy that Candace was talking about with him was

[00:11:55] And poor and I definitely think of something that she does struggle with

[00:11:58] Okay

[00:12:00] This this is the thing that that like it's immediately popped into my mind

[00:12:05] She talked about this. She said I would like to become a mom

[00:12:10] And the thing that gets me is in that in previous episodes she's always like I'm a bonus mom

[00:12:15] I'm a bonus mom and the thing about it is if you're a mom you you your mom

[00:12:20] You know, she could she needs to reframe that because you don't do that with children

[00:12:25] Like you don't be like these are my stepchildren and I want real children

[00:12:29] I mean, he could say I want more children. You don't have to qualify

[00:12:32] I feel like what she was saying kind of discounts her being a mom to those those true

[00:12:38] But I think what he was really saying was I want to go through the motherhood journey

[00:12:44] With my husband and like and I don't think anything's wrong with that

[00:12:47] And again Candace is a woman of a certain age Candace and I are around the same age

[00:12:51] You know she her music career took off she's recording new music

[00:12:57] She's filming different things and so it's like when is going to be the time and then but I also thought that you know

[00:13:03] What I thought was something real that she said was like I don't know if I deserve to be a mother

[00:13:07] And I don't know why that just kind of sort of resonated with my wife

[00:13:10] But again all it like I couldn't hear anything she was saying because she isn't mother

[00:13:14] Yeah, but you know what she means. So I don't I don't think she's discredited to kids though right

[00:13:19] You know what I hear I hear what you are saying

[00:13:22] And I get that he wants to have children naturally I get that but to say I want to become a mother

[00:13:28] Just like I want to have children with with my husband

[00:13:31] Right

[00:13:33] I'm sorry

[00:13:35] I could even be asking

[00:13:37] If you are Chris's mom you are Chris's kids and she didn't want to call herself bonus my bonus my bonus mom

[00:13:45] And then she you don't

[00:13:47] I don't feel like I understand what you say I just feel like you try you I just think you

[00:13:53] I hear that point but you hanging on to that point a little bit like you

[00:13:57] I'm gonna keep it up so maybe we need to move on Chris

[00:13:59] But no, but this is like here's the thing the thing that like what I thought was weird about this therapy session

[00:14:04] Was that like something the therapist was like

[00:14:07] It's your time to have kids and then she was like oh this is what I needed let me call Chris I was like huh

[00:14:15] Yeah, none of it made sense it was screaming really just like storyline so I like I said

[00:14:22] Her is her denying her I'm Chris's kids as her being a mom she trying to be dare mom but she above this mom be like you know what I want to expand my you know I want to have more kids

[00:14:34] I'm a bonus mom I love that that's so I'm sorry I am partying on it as a mom

[00:14:39] If I heard like somebody who was the step mind of my kids me and my husband's a bear but just a case you know because

[00:14:46] You know if you do get remarried I probably double die but anyway that's what I'm saying

[00:14:51] You're you check your bank account girl girl

[00:14:54] No, you need to check check his breaks of the car anyway

[00:14:58] If he did get remarried and then I heard his you know new wife be like

[00:15:04] I was that my name she did like I want kids I want I want to be a mom so that's what I'm saying don't do it because kids meet love

[00:15:10] And I understand what she's saying but she could have framed it a little different and these are the things you had to be mature enough to talk about when you become a mom

[00:15:16] That's okay

[00:15:18] All right

[00:15:19] Okay

[00:15:20] Then again we also last week we foreshaddled a little bit the seeding of the reunion came about and we saw that

[00:15:28] Jacelle got dethroned Mia is in the top seat and care is caring Mia and we get to see Mia bring all of the girls together

[00:15:37] Which I kind of sort of thought was really really big we haven't really seen many of the ladies outside of a

[00:15:43] Group trip be able to bring all the girls together so I said okay Mia look how Mia has kind of like

[00:15:51] Interweaved herself she seems to be over there on the side with Jacelle and Ashley but she keeps it friendly enough with Candice and Wendy

[00:16:00] And it's like okay Mia we see you so this I guess my dark magazine wanted to shoot the ladies for women empowerment

[00:16:09] And they specifically black women and they want to pick prominent black women of history to showcase them which I love

[00:16:18] I thought it was great and I loved it. I loved it. I love it

[00:16:22] And everybody was really excited about their characters from we had Dorothy Danridge that was Ashley we had Diana Ross

[00:16:30] And that was the song

[00:16:32] Yeah, she's sharing Cheryl Lee Ralph Cheryl Lee Ralph we had Beyonce we had Mariah Carey the thing that I like the most about this though

[00:16:42] The owner

[00:16:44] I got wait Karen was

[00:16:48] She wasn't

[00:16:50] The things that I loved the most about what this magazine editor did like not only did like the people somewhat resemble

[00:16:58] The person I like just hearing his breakdown and story

[00:17:02] Regarding them like even with Robin and Mariah Carey he was like you know Mariah Carey's open with her family

[00:17:08] And like you know a lot of different stuff so I was like okay, I appreciate this do you think

[00:17:12] That's like the person that he had her big

[00:17:14] Um nobody yeah, no I don't think you like that he was like

[00:17:18] Oh, Neko he was like no I don't know her she ain't gonna be in the shoot

[00:17:22] And now here's the thing I'm not

[00:17:24] That's like a champ

[00:17:26] Yeah but see I just feel like

[00:17:28] Well okay let's be honest you know how production works they probably were filming with Kiara and they were probably

[00:17:36] But you know as a potential house wife

[00:17:38] That is perfect that's it

[00:17:40] And then they only made it ask the decision after the season and what the footage and stuff

[00:17:44] So I can see him being like yeah nah I'm not going

[00:17:48] The new girls who may or may not be on the damn season in the picture

[00:17:52] But I also could see if they were cool enough that they could have been like

[00:17:58] Give her Kelly Rowland

[00:18:00] No so look they're not moving on because

[00:18:06] And Kiara took it like a champ I'm not sure sorry Neko took it like a champ

[00:18:10] She understands she's a new girl so you know this reminds me you remember when on the real house wife Ziva

[00:18:17] And they did the alter eagle photo shoot

[00:18:20] Disparadied that and they really you know we did today

[00:18:24] I think it was like Derek Blank or something that guy that was like what's not model to do those photos

[00:18:28] Yeah that was a good episode

[00:18:30] And so then we see Robin and Juan

[00:18:34] They are viewing a space

[00:18:38] Because she is opening up her glow learning

[00:18:42] A membership-based facial studio that I think can do really really well

[00:18:48] And you know I'm seeing Robin over here so I really want her to do well

[00:18:51] The thing that was so interesting to me was like wow I'm gonna say anything you put your mind

[00:18:54] You can do we will kill this now but just like now I don't want to throw no shade to my girl Robin but I'm like you still flipping houses

[00:19:02] Look she slipped herself into a house okay look she had embellished she has the podcast she has glow 30

[00:19:10] She's trying to do multiple streams and you know what I really love this business move you know building her well

[00:19:16] The diversifying their portfolio because clearly they cannot you know just

[00:19:22] I depend on one you know what you gotta be him do laundry whoever you want to do laundry with

[00:19:28] And you know stuff so you know you gotta diversify your streams

[00:19:32] Yeah no I get it

[00:19:34] They can't just rely on Robin's housewife income we don't know

[00:19:38] You know the way they giving out these contracts that would date you never know who's contracts

[00:19:42] Going to give her new who's not going to get redo

[00:19:44] And so yeah when rock one one said that he could manage the place

[00:20:32] Then we learned while Robin was looking up for while she was in her glow 30 studio

[00:20:40] She lets us know that jazel's father is in the hospital

[00:20:43] This is something that we did also report early on in the season that

[00:20:47] Jazel's dad did pass so just hearing this on the show just kind of like

[00:20:55] Just makes me emotional just thinking about parents in general

[00:20:58] And so just to hear that jazel was going through that especially with the gna launch happening

[00:21:04] And so they asked jazel on camera and jazel's like I don't want to talk about it

[00:21:09] And so we got kind of sort of here a lot of what's happening through Robin and the other cast members

[00:21:16] Yes, so I understand her not wanting to talk about it he has a brain cancer

[00:21:23] And then it comes to find out she's been flying back and forth going back and forth between his house

[00:21:29] And he wasn't really forthcoming with you know, his medical issues

[00:21:32] And so she leaves long enough to come to the gna party but we also see her departing

[00:21:39] Before it gets packed in to go back and be with her father

[00:21:43] So it's a happy it's heavy all the way around I love the way that

[00:21:48] I'm forgetting her name the grand dog no grand dog

[00:21:53] Karen just basically you know says anything you need I got your back

[00:22:00] I love that even though they different they fight and they have their differences

[00:22:05] That she's there for Jazel

[00:22:07] If you remember during the reunion after Karen had lost both of her parents

[00:22:12] And it was the season that her and jazel were at odds

[00:22:15] And there was a point during the reunion that Karen broke down

[00:22:19] And no one really knew what to do and jazel was the only one that got up

[00:22:22] And went in the back if they were fighting this reunion

[00:22:26] And jazel went to support Karen

[00:22:28] And so I think that whether or not Karen and jazel are on good terms

[00:22:32] I think that they understand life their mothers

[00:22:36] And they're always going to support each other

[00:22:38] So I did like to see that and I

[00:22:41] Let's table that because I do have some thoughts about the other ladies

[00:22:45] But we do get to see Wendy and her pilot come to life of the Wendy talk show

[00:22:51] Now this is what I would have to say right

[00:22:53] So I mean the talk this is real tape

[00:22:58] This is real tape

[00:23:00] No but I kind of I was enjoying it first of all

[00:23:03] I love April Ryan that's my girl

[00:23:05] I like April Ryan

[00:23:06] So when I saw she was saying she had these guests

[00:23:09] I thought she'd be interviewing them one on one

[00:23:11] Right

[00:23:12] I didn't know it was around table

[00:23:13] I thought she was shooting for episodes

[00:23:15] I thought it was kind of silly for her to waste all of those guests

[00:23:19] You know have them I don't know together

[00:23:21] I don't

[00:23:22] So yeah, I'm just confused because I was like I thought this was going to be a talk show

[00:23:25] I talked show that we've ever seen

[00:23:26] But child we got the view

[00:23:28] We had to talk

[00:23:29] We had to but no but I did

[00:23:31] I did

[00:23:34] And I like April Ryan

[00:23:36] So I was like

[00:23:39] I'm a detergent here like the Jasmine brand

[00:23:42] You know that's interesting April Ryan is hilarious

[00:23:45] She always got a hot tank

[00:23:47] The other two

[00:23:50] I mean yeah we have seen the real with Tamar Brexton

[00:23:55] With Adrian Bylonne

[00:23:58] And so again this was just kind of sort of giving me like the view vibes

[00:24:01] From like educated black women and so I did kind of like that

[00:24:06] I was like maybe this actually could be better than the the Wendy show

[00:24:09] But also was like why would it be called the Wendy show with a pillow

[00:24:12] So I don't know again, it was just a pilot episode

[00:24:15] But it seemed interesting

[00:24:17] And you know kudos to Wendy for making it all

[00:24:20] Coming together

[00:24:22] Kudos to happy Eddie for right that $50,000

[00:24:25] Okay

[00:24:26] Them happy Eddie checks be clearing

[00:24:30] And so we get to the actual G&A event

[00:24:34] DeZelle arrives

[00:24:36] DeZelle just again showers Ashley with so much love just saying like girl

[00:24:39] The G checked out but the A snapped up

[00:24:42] I love how the designer was like maybe we're a team

[00:24:45] So it doesn't matter

[00:24:47] And so you know the lady started arriving

[00:24:50] And again this was another reason as to why

[00:24:53] This could have given me a season finale

[00:24:55] Everybody was there

[00:24:57] We had chasha they had like walk ins and intros

[00:25:01] Oh my gosh Robin looks amazing

[00:25:03] Robin looks good

[00:25:05] Yeah, mind you sometimes I don't be loving Robin's look

[00:25:07] Sometimes it's like a little too casual for me

[00:25:09] But no I thought Robin looked at amazing now

[00:25:11] I do love chasha but this look wasn't it

[00:25:14] I've seen by the days from chasha

[00:25:16] Yes

[00:25:17] Debra we see Jacqueline

[00:25:20] We see Keona

[00:25:22] We see Wendy

[00:25:23] We see all the friends was out

[00:25:25] Again this is another thing for me was just like why was given season finale

[00:25:30] Because it's like oh not windy and Candace are going to support

[00:25:34] Not you're gonna show up

[00:25:36] But see I hate now

[00:25:39] Not to talk about Candace and Wendy

[00:25:41] But I hate the friends that come to people's events

[00:25:46] And talk it's like I like here's a thing

[00:25:49] Now I'm not going to say I'm not their friend

[00:25:52] That's not going to talk smack maybe I went to like get home

[00:25:56] You know somebody call me and say how was the vent I'll tell you

[00:25:59] But what I'm not going to do

[00:26:02] Yeah

[00:26:03] Like I just I don't yeah because me as an entrepreneur

[00:26:07] Me that has several businesses

[00:26:09] Me have that have a lot of things

[00:26:11] I really have learnt what it really means to support people

[00:26:15] And show up and just do things and so like

[00:26:18] I'm just really big on supporting people

[00:26:20] So I just I don't like that fake phoney support

[00:26:24] So and again, I'm not because I know this we got this one person

[00:26:28] It always loves the comment and just so I'm not just saying

[00:26:31] Wendy and Candace right I'm just saying like friends that do that

[00:26:34] Not just specifically them even though that's what they were doing at the event

[00:26:38] So yeah

[00:26:40] It wasn't

[00:26:42] Everybody has I would say that Robin has I'm to say about it being more leisure than that

[00:26:47] And so they can and what neither of them you're right did that happy

[00:26:52] Now the one point that I will give Wendy last season

[00:26:57] Or whenever Wendy got her body done and it was like oh Wendy's like

[00:27:00] We're not used to you dress up like this and Wendy was like that not that my not that my whole outfit now

[00:27:05] She was right now. I don't think that the lady said that when he's out there was a mess

[00:27:09] They it was just different

[00:27:11] It was a transformation

[00:27:13] Yes

[00:27:14] I was like okay Wendy you did eat with that girl because I was like

[00:27:17] Oh, it's my ass off it I mean when he looks

[00:27:21] I went to eat her most part

[00:27:23] She has steps our game up. I listened I
