[00:02:37] agreement clause. We're talking about Mia and Giselle and the girls sneaking boys in the DR.

[00:02:43] We're getting into all things Giselle's father's will. We're talking Karen and Ray's marriage. We're

[00:02:51] getting into more Mia and Gordon and so much more. So let's get in to this week's recap of the Real

[00:02:57] Housewives of Potomac. And we are back with your Purple Pants podcast coverage of Real Housewives of

[00:03:20] Potomac season nine, episode nine and ten. I am joined by my smart, my talented, my beautiful,

[00:03:29] my loving, my supportive friend, Dr. Jatia Hart. Dr. Jatia Taylor Hart.

[00:03:37] You have said that wrong every single time. I never correct you because I've just been waiting

[00:03:43] for you and it is finally paid off. Wait, so what do I normally say? Jatia Hart Taylor.

[00:03:52] Oh, I do. I don't say Jatia Taylor Hart. That's all right. I love you however you come.

[00:03:58] Okay. Well, listen, I get the names right. So, you know, just maybe in the wrong order.

[00:04:04] We are back. We've got two episodes of Potomac to cover. But while we were gone, I believe, did we have

[00:04:12] Thanksgiving? Did we talk after Thanksgiving? Okay. All right. Well, we are in full swing of the

[00:04:19] holiday season. And how have you been? I've been great. So, yes, Thanksgiving was a maze. I spent it

[00:04:27] in Texas. Where did you spend your Thanksgiving and what did you cook? I spent my Thanksgiving

[00:04:32] in Delaware with my mom and I cooked the whole spread this year. Oh, did you? Oh, my gosh. You must have

[00:04:38] been so busy in the kitchen, right? All day. I had a party. The pricing went all day, all morning.

[00:04:46] I slaved over the stove. Had to get up 5 a.m. to put the turkey in. Oh, really? So much.

[00:04:52] I thought the only thing you made was reservations. Huh? Huh? What?

[00:04:57] Huh? You don't have a home? I have four homes. Look, that's all right. Both of us,

[00:05:08] our den-dens were delish, no matter who actually made them. But we all provided.

[00:05:16] Yes. Okay. In the way we knew how. Yes, that's what I say. I provided Thanksgiving this year.

[00:05:23] That's the word you have to use. I provided. It doesn't matter who cooked it. Anyway, glad

[00:05:28] to be back. Also, we, you know, had our nice little Bryson Wynn present came through Chicago

[00:05:34] where I was able to join up and it was lovely. So, um, shout out to all my lovelies who I saw out

[00:05:41] there. And it was so lovely to see you in Chicago with Bryson Wynn present and shout out to all my

[00:05:47] lovely purple pants posse who I was able to see out there. It was amazing. Yeah. We had a good old time.

[00:05:54] Uh, and yeah, we've got two episodes to talk about and Ooh, some good episodes. You know, we could dive

[00:06:01] right into episode nine. We see Kiana chatting with Greg and we see a little, you know, he's saying areas

[00:06:11] that Kiana can improve on. Uh, and it's interesting, but we do get to see Kiana talking, opening up about

[00:06:18] her personal injury lawsuit to death. Yeah. She don't want to talk about the scar until the personal

[00:06:29] injury lawsuit is settled because Kiana is getting them coins. Now I'm, I'm really interested in like

[00:06:35] this Bravo clause because I always felt like, or I, I want to say I read somewhere that a part of their

[00:06:42] contracts and Bravo is that they can't sue each other, but maybe because Debra wasn't a full cast member.

[00:06:50] At the time, neither of them were cast members of the housewives. So sue away, honey. And yes,

[00:06:59] like they be trying to sue each other, loved ones. Then what's her name? Little raccoon girl. Uh,

[00:07:04] Candace. Well, you know, you know, that was Michael. Michael was suing Candace, uh, for some

[00:07:09] astronomical number. And mind you, the judge threw that out. Uh, but also zero from zero is zero.

[00:07:16] So like, whatever you can't, you can't get blood from a stone. So, I mean, choose your targets wisely,

[00:07:23] but clearly Debra got something that she could pay up. Um, cause Kiana is going after her. You know

[00:07:28] what? I love it. I love it. Kiana kicked her behind and Kiana going to get some coin. So look, she, she

[00:07:35] knocked the coins out of her and she going to knock the coins out of her. Yes. Well, I fully support that.

[00:07:42] Yeah. Well, we'll see if she gets a coin out of Debra. They say Sesame street, uh, it's been on the air

[00:07:48] for a long time. So, uh, the royalty. So her bank, honey. Absolutely. And keeping in the theme of

[00:07:56] lawyers and mediation, uh, Stacy, who has said her and her husband are very amicable. She's excited

[00:08:04] about mediation. The girls were saying you might want to watch out. And Stacy comes back and shares

[00:08:10] with the ladies that she's learned her. Her husband had some in the discovery phase of mediation.

[00:08:17] The husband has some accounts and, and different funds that she didn't know about.

[00:08:21] Yes. So we, I think we talked about this with Ashley ad ad nauseum, um, that you need to know

[00:08:30] where the bodies are hidden. You need to know. We've seen so many housewives go down, um, about trusting

[00:08:36] the financial decisions. And it's not just housewives, but we've seen it very publicly play

[00:08:42] out on these housewives series. Um, our good girl, Teresa, girl, um, honey, went down four. Okay.

[00:08:51] Erica, right. Erica Jane went down. Well, she stumbled, she stumbled. Right. Look, they had a whole,

[00:08:59] what five arc five episode arc about the ring. Right. Um, and let's not forget the original,

[00:09:06] the OG, the ring didn't mean a thing. Uh, Kim Zosiak, right. Okay. And she got into it twice,

[00:09:14] you know, big Papa now Kim and Croy and you know, all that kind of stuff. So be about your,

[00:09:20] your be financially savvy ladies. Um, and it was much easier said than done. Cause of course you want

[00:09:26] to trust your husband. So I understand what she's talking about, but I do like that. She was willing

[00:09:31] to come back and be like, look, you, y'all was right. I need you. What else you got? You know?

[00:09:35] So I love that, you know, she maybe wasn't open and receptive at first, but she came around to it.

[00:09:41] Well, she found them hidden, uh, accounts. Yeah. You might want to have to listen to what the ladies

[00:09:46] say. Uh, interesting enough, you brought out Kim Zosiak and Croy Beardman. Uh, you know,

[00:09:51] they've been in this like nasty divorce, you know, they put their house on the market. They try to,

[00:09:55] the house worth 2 million. They trying to sell it for 6 million. Kim on Instagram live,

[00:10:00] trying to sell her artificial trees for $4,000. The house is in foreclosure. It went to auction

[00:10:06] and it allegedly sold. People saw moving trucks outside of the Beardman house, but then the bank

[00:10:13] came back and said that it actually didn't sell. They didn't list it on the auction last week and that,

[00:10:18] uh, they're giving them another chance to sell it. However, I've read other reports because you know,

[00:10:23] this is where I do my due diligence. I read other reports that the house did sell, uh,

[00:10:28] not for their asking price. So we will see what happens with Kim and Croy. Um, and in another messy

[00:10:34] divorce, Ashley and Michael had their mediation and it didn't go as well as Ashley intended. Uh,

[00:10:42] I believe she said the mediation just stopped and there's not going to be anything else.

[00:10:46] Michael wanted her to sign a confidentiality clause that says, you don't bring up his name.

[00:10:51] You don't mention his likeness. You don't say anything about his business.

[00:10:55] You know, basically that's what he's trying. He's trying to will Smith her, you know, um,

[00:11:00] and basically say that she is not allowed to bring him up on the show, but she's right.

[00:11:05] She can't control what happens and who wants to be liable for, you know, how Karen or Mia

[00:11:11] is feeling that day and we'll get some, you know, tea dropping, uh, Mia, right. Okay.

[00:11:18] She, she's the new bone collector here on this series. So she definitely is. It is interesting

[00:11:26] though, because like, if Ashley were to agree to that, what would Ashley storyline be? We're not

[00:11:31] really too sure. However, in the episode and Karen's confessional, she made it seem like if

[00:11:37] Michael wants that, and this is what Michael's asking for, that actually could be, she said,

[00:11:41] that's called alimony, uh, or, uh,

[00:11:47] It's like money, Ty. If you want me to hush, give me some money. That's all. Look, that's the way she

[00:11:51] needed to put it. And, you know, it could bring up a better thing for her or if she could put it

[00:11:58] where, okay, as long as I don't talk about you, I don't know about these other chicks, you suit them

[00:12:01] at, at, you know, however you want, but you know, I, I can do it. And she doesn't really

[00:12:07] honestly say negative things about her, him. So, um, I don't think that would honestly be a huge

[00:12:14] problem, but then also who's the judge of what's negative and what's not? Cause she definitely talks

[00:12:19] about it. Right. And it's like, who's to say if she's in the company of these ladies that are

[00:12:24] bringing him up, can that not be brought up? So yeah, it definitely would put a stunt on her Bravo

[00:12:29] bag because we want to hear about Michael because Michael was the other housewife for three to four

[00:12:36] seasons. Honey, the him and Ashley and Juan and, um, that love triangle, baby, that love triangle

[00:12:45] was triangulating. Okay. It was doing a lot for us. Okay. You know, when he was like, I do him or

[00:12:53] whatever. I was like, you know, that was a whole two seasons. Well, Robin Dixon heard him say something

[00:12:59] else at a party. Okay. Robin Dixon heard that he said he was, but you know what? We're not going to

[00:13:06] go there. But the juiciest part of episode nine was Ashley had a over the edge charity event where

[00:13:13] she was climbing down, uh, the wall of a building to raise money. Um, and actually that happened this

[00:13:19] week or weekend and Florida, it used to be hard to reality. Now it's called over the edge. Uh, and so

[00:13:25] there were a lot of survivor reality, big brother people there. So I was like, look at over the edge

[00:13:30] on Potomac and down in Florida. So that was exciting. But at this place where we went repelling.

[00:13:38] Oh, and the cave in Thailand. Yes. Okay. Look, I was going to wait. Yes. Don't you remember we did

[00:13:44] that? So yes, we are very brave people. Um, and we threw ourselves off of a cliff as well. You

[00:13:50] didn't see that. That didn't make the show. But, um, I thought that was so cool that she was raising

[00:13:54] money, um, and giving some airtime to a charity, which is amazing. Um, would you have done that?

[00:14:01] Absolutely. I did it in Thailand and we were in a cave. It was like a 200 foot cave.

[00:14:07] That was scary. Absolutely. But at this charity event.

[00:14:12] Down waiting at the bottom, what I love were the kiddos. I thought that was lovely that everybody

[00:14:16] brought their kiddos. I think we saw Stacey's a little girl for the first time, right?

[00:14:22] Arabella. Yeah. Arabella was very nicely well-mandered giving out high fives saying

[00:14:28] hey to everybody. I love seeing the kids. Wendy brought hers, uh, all three of her children.

[00:14:33] Carter, Cruz, and Cameron. All the K's. KK and K.

[00:14:39] And we had Dylan. And I can't remember the other baby's name.

[00:14:43] I can't either. Um, something that ends in an N, like, cause that's, you know,

[00:14:47] the trend in baby names. So. Okay. Ashton. What?

[00:14:51] Now I gotta look at you, but, oh, Ashton is somebody else. I don't want to say.

[00:14:55] Ashton is?

[00:14:57] Ashley's, uh, drag king persona.

[00:15:00] Oh, that's right.

[00:15:04] Well, listen, kids, the kids were there. Not only were kids there, but kids were talked about.

[00:15:10] So Mia had this issue with Giselle because Giselle brought up the, at the last meeting,

[00:15:17] she kind of called me out like Mia at our GNA fusion event. You was crying to us about Gordon and

[00:15:23] Inc. How he's so uncontrollable. And then the next day you're posting on social media that you see

[00:15:29] Inc. and Gordon together. Like it's confusing. Mia didn't like that. And Mia was like, do I talk

[00:15:36] about your girls? And Giselle's like, what is there to talk about my girls? And Mia's like,

[00:15:40] ah, you remember in the DR, they were sneaking boys into the house. Now, you know me, I do a lot of

[00:15:47] research on TikTok, on Blue Sky, on X and Reddit. And the majority of times people never really agree

[00:15:55] with Giselle. They don't like Giselle. This time everyone was really like, I can't believe Mia made

[00:16:02] me like Giselle because here's the thing. Yeah. Giselle is bringing up your children, Mia, but only

[00:16:07] in the sense that you brought them up. You trying to dig up something. And first of all, we know what

[00:16:13] daughter it was. It had to be the older one. It's not the twins. It was the older one, but you bringing

[00:16:16] up something about Giselle's daughter crazy. And Giselle's response kind of surprised me because I'm like,

[00:16:23] wait a minute, where, where's mama bear at? Now Giselle said she was going to clap back. But I

[00:16:29] think the only reason she didn't was because all the kids were there. So I, I actually really applaud

[00:16:35] her, you know, taking it, taking it a little slower and, you know, but she don't, she coming

[00:16:42] back with something. She's coming back with something, definitely. And she says, so, you know, in her

[00:16:46] confessional, she basically says, you know, I'm going to buy my time, but that was really messy.

[00:16:51] That was just low. That was just, and it's giving Mia, you're holding, like it's giving

[00:16:56] Mia, your, the ladies are confiding in you and you are firing back when needed. It's

[00:17:02] like you're holding ammo. And it's like, yeah, I don't like that Mia. Like, get it together

[00:17:07] Mia. I have liked you thus far, but this whole ink Gordon, the kids, how you handling it,

[00:17:14] coming at people calling Karen drunk when you know she in the middle of a DUI case, like

[00:17:19] you're doing a lot Mia. Yeah, that was really messy that she did that to her because I don't

[00:17:29] know. She's just been messy lately. That's why I thought it was really interesting. Also,

[00:17:33] she actually had a cute moment with Jacqueline, but you know, cause I guess she said, you ain't

[00:17:40] have my back at the table. Get away from me. Mind you, but Jacqueline did have her back

[00:17:43] at the table. I don't know when Jacqueline hasn't had the girl back. So I just think that's very

[00:17:49] interesting to me. Like she always have her back. Yeah. And then we jumped right into episode 10 and

[00:17:55] it kicks off with Giselle talking to her girls about her father and how Giselle is in court because

[00:18:02] Giselle's father had a will. And after Giselle's father's had brain surgery, it seems like the will

[00:18:08] was, the will was tossed out and he signed another will that essentially left nothing to Giselle.

[00:18:16] I like how Giselle doesn't really speak on it. Right. Because I wonder who the, who is the person?

[00:18:22] Was, does he have another child? Is it a wife? Like who is this unsaid person? Because that seems crazy.

[00:18:30] Giselle also says that she was there with him in the hospital and he couldn't read. He couldn't write.

[00:18:35] He couldn't hold a pen after brain surgery. So how is this will being upheld?

[00:18:42] It's people, look, it's people who do all kind of stuff like that, just waiting until like they can

[00:18:50] pounce on people who are elderly or disabled or incapacitated. So I am glad to see that Giselle

[00:18:58] is not putting up with this and is contesting it because, you know, she, she really talks about

[00:19:03] how her father, and we all saw this was really into legacy and everything like that. So yeah,

[00:19:09] it doesn't make sense that he all of a sudden would, um, after being like this for all his life

[00:19:14] in the last couple of days, barely holding the pen, have a epic change of heart. So good on her

[00:19:19] for protecting her daughter's interest and going after that and getting it thrown out. So that's

[00:19:24] the Giselle I like, that's the Giselle I like to see. The Giselle who is standing up for her

[00:19:29] daughters, who is protecting her family. Um, you know, she's saying she ain't gonna get married

[00:19:35] because she don't trust in no trust when it's a dude around. Um, so that's the Giselle

[00:19:43] that I love to see. That and when she giving advice to people, um, cause she been through it

[00:19:49] and she done had, you know, tried to have a little perfect marriage and hold it together and it didn't

[00:19:53] work. So that's what I like to see personally. Yeah. Uh, it didn't get thrown out yet, or we don't

[00:19:59] know of it getting thrown out, but she's just in the courts contesting it. And yeah, I like also like

[00:20:03] when Giselle puts on her former first lady hat. Uh, I like that Giselle as well. We also get to see

[00:20:10] who is growing on us, who might be our favorite housewife this season, Stacy and her boyfriend, TJ.

[00:20:17] TJ wants to make a romantic dinner. Are they boyfriend and girlfriend? What is the, didn't he

[00:20:24] use the term? I don't know. Whatever. Friend, best friends. That's what she said. They're best friends.

[00:20:30] They're besties. And, uh, TJ puts on a green silk bonnet to make his boo Stacey some pizza. Uh,

[00:20:40] and in this conversation, Stacey, well, I guess they're talking about the mediation, uh, how there's

[00:20:46] more things to go. Stacey shares with us that she's like, I'm not really sharing a lot of the

[00:20:50] mediation with TJ because honestly it's with my soon to be ex-husband and I not necessarily TJ.

[00:20:58] And she also shares with TJ that the lady said,

[00:21:03] this your hot girl summer, you need to be pop,

[00:21:06] locking and dropping it all over the Potomac river. And I'm mad at that. And, uh, TJ's like,

[00:21:14] oh, I'm not mad at the girls for saying that, but like, you know, I, uh, uh, and Stacy's like,

[00:21:19] well, how would you feel if, uh, while we are still exploring, I see other people? TJ's like,

[00:21:27] well, I, I, I wouldn't, I wouldn't just, I would explore the people too. Stacy said,

[00:21:32] how are you going to explore the people? You ain't even trying to find out what's below the skirt.

[00:21:38] Look, don't get me started. Let's go ahead and move on to another topic.

[00:21:43] Uh, cause he is, I don't know. Like, it's just funny between this and his behavior. I don't know.

[00:21:50] TJ got some things, some thinking to do. I mean, or could TJ be a knight in shining armor in this

[00:22:00] day and age where we just want to bump and grind. TJ wants to get to know somebody for who they are

[00:22:06] before he shares his body with them. That could be seen as admirable.

[00:22:14] Very. Uh, okay. Well, moving right along, we see Wendy and Ivy meet up with her mom. We haven't

[00:22:21] seen Ivy, uh, in a long time. Every time I hear Ivy, I think of in-laws. I think of NECA. I think of

[00:22:28] like all of this, you know, shout out to our girl NECA. Uh, the shrines. Okay. The pigeons. So we see

[00:22:38] Ivy and it makes me think of NECA and Wendy has to confess to her mom that she had resigned from

[00:22:46] John Hopkins university. I also thought it was interesting because do you remember a couple of

[00:22:51] seasons ago when I guess Wendy was like fighting with Mia and John Hopkins university put out that

[00:22:58] statement, uh, saying like the behaviors that don't reflect us. I liked how it was funny how she didn't

[00:23:02] say John. She just said my university. Uh, she didn't, she didn't bring that up. So definitely

[00:23:08] once she got into a physical articulation, I'm sure that had some effect on her job at school,

[00:23:15] you know, and you know, you know, you're a university professor. You can't be throwing

[00:23:20] hands in the streets. Well, she was assaulted by Mia. She didn't throw hands. Well, she, she wanted to

[00:23:27] throw some hands. I mean, it wasn't, it was not one way. I mean, maybe it started that way,

[00:23:31] but you know, it's not a good look and you know, university it's a public job. It's a very public

[00:23:37] position. So I think she knew that, you know, she needed to get her wicks in order, um, and probably

[00:23:43] find a new, uh, you know, line of business. She's been trying, you know, she's been going through a lot

[00:23:49] of things, uh, with the candles and, you know, now the Dr. Wendy show. So I think she kind of is starting

[00:23:57] to find her, you know, niche, which is great. It's fantastic. I mean, the, the only hit she had

[00:24:03] so far was a happy Eddie. And I'm sure. Right. And that was Eddie. So I'm sure that, um, also they were

[00:24:12] not, um, happy about that either. So she, you know, you got to figure out what you're going to do.

[00:24:19] Her mom was a little upset. Uh, she didn't love hearing that news. Uh, Wendy says, you know,

[00:24:25] African parents, they want you to be a doctor, a surgeon, an engineer, uh, but not unemployed.

[00:24:31] And for me, after us seeing Wendy's mom last episode or two episodes ago, Wendy mom only really

[00:24:36] cared if she resigned from that position. Cause she, uh, she need her allowance. She want to make

[00:24:40] sure her allowance gets sent on time every month. What you're not going to do is mess up my allowance.

[00:24:48] Okay. Not her allowance. Then we see the grand Dom and Ray Ray, uh, spending a quiet

[00:24:54] afternoon in her backyard. And Karen shares with not the ladies, but the audience that for during the

[00:25:01] time of her accident. Also, I love the, the versions of the story that we're getting now, because

[00:25:09] in the beginning of the season, she was still processing the loss of her mother and father.

[00:25:14] Now this episode, her Ray had been uneasy for the last couple of months. And prior to the accident

[00:25:22] and the night of the accident, she was just so overwhelmed with emotion from Ray that her car

[00:25:30] drove into a tree. I love the narrative. Look, I love a good narrative. Okay. Um, I ain't mad at it.

[00:25:39] That woman is fighting for her life and her livelihood, uh, and do what it takes, honey. Do

[00:25:45] whatever story you need to tell to get to pop in and move in and out of jail. I'm here for it.

[00:25:51] You'd spin your yarn woman. I am not mad, but it is a little sad to see how Karen was saying that

[00:25:57] even after the accident, um, for a couple of months, she didn't find Ray to be that supportive.

[00:26:02] And that really put a strain on the relationship. When one thing we know about Karen Huger is she

[00:26:08] is not married. She is in an institution and she don't play about Ray. She stand up for Ray

[00:26:16] during the whole tax situation. Karen was there. And so it did kind of make me a little mad at

[00:26:22] Uncle Ray. Like why are you not holding our girl Karen down?

[00:26:26] Oh, I think she, I think she, uh, got his behind about it because like what they, he made her move

[00:26:32] out of Potomac proper. Like, oh my goodness. She moved out of Potomac for that man. Okay. She went to

[00:26:40] work, honey. She put a Surrey County on the map for him. She was doing, look, she got the candles out.

[00:26:46] She had the perfume. She had the cream. That woman went on tour. She brought in the money for that

[00:26:54] man. And like, if he can't see that, like when, when they did have this therapy session and they,

[00:27:01] they showed the year was like 2020 or 2022. So I don't know, whatever.

[00:27:04] Sure. But I think he came around. Look, I think he came around. Look, the power dynamic has shifted.

[00:27:13] And I, look, he talked about his computer. He had in 1975.

[00:27:19] I had a personal, I'm like, why is him and TJ even talking about that?

[00:27:23] I loved it as an engineer and a nerd. I was like, that is pretty early to have a PC,

[00:27:27] computer, desktop. That's, that's, that's revolutionary. Look, I'm like,

[00:27:31] cause they was punch carding it back in the seventies. Anyway, um, I loved it. And I think

[00:27:37] he has come around. Ray can count. He an engineer. Okay. So he can count and he knows the coins and

[00:27:44] she held him all the way down. So he needs to return that favor. And it seems like he is now. So I love

[00:27:50] that scene full circle. Absolutely. We see Giselle and Ashley going on these speed dates at Giselle,

[00:27:57] like some guy, I forget his name, but I was more interested in Ashley's little cutie patootie Josh.

[00:28:02] I like Josh. Josh is a little younger. Uh, you know, he was of the Caucasian complexion,

[00:28:08] but he seemed real cool down to earth. He had overcome thyroid cancer. He was, I don't know.

[00:28:14] I liked Josh and I feel too. So I was surprised that she picked him from the little clip that we saw,

[00:28:21] like it wasn't given a whole bunch, but what I love is that he kept her wanting more. Like he was like,

[00:28:28] farm goodbye. Like he, he made a linger. I like that. So, you know, he wasn't doing too much.

[00:28:34] He wasn't bringing a full bouquet of flowers. Like you're doing the most, sir. Um, even though it

[00:28:39] was cute. I was a little stalkerish. I know where your birthday is. I know you like chocolate.

[00:28:43] Ashley was like, Oh, I did research, but not the creepy kind. I'm like, yes, it was the creepy kind.

[00:28:49] Yeah. Just didn't think it was, but it was. Um, so I liked that he just came with his personality,

[00:28:54] was not intimidated. And I love that even though he's younger, he's, you know, 30 that he,

[00:29:02] you know, got some swag, got some, you know, I'm not intimidated. I can handle big things like you,

[00:29:08] you know, I can handle, I can handle stuff. I love that. So we'll see. And he was cute.

[00:29:14] Yeah. I thought he was a cutie patootie. Um, and so, yeah, well, we love to see this dating arc of

[00:29:20] Ashley. Uh, then we get to Mia and Gordon, which at this point, I feel like the kids at this point

[00:29:31] is now revealing to us, Mia, that you be lying because Mia and her apartment making cookies with

[00:29:39] the kids. And then she was saying like, you know how I told you, me and daddy are getting divorced.

[00:29:44] Jeremiah was like, you ain't, you ain't tell me that. What's the divorce?

[00:29:52] So I want Gordon to rest, honey. That's all I really want from this whole thing. Um, I know,

[00:29:58] like, I want Mia to be good. I want the kids to be amazing, but like, please leave Gordon alone.

[00:30:04] Gordon got issues that he need to work on outside of the camera and stuff like that. And if you don't

[00:30:11] like, if you don't know what his attitude is going to be a day to day, leave him alone. Stop

[00:30:16] bringing him on camera. My thing is, and again, I always believe victims. And so I'm not questioning

[00:30:24] Mia, but I just always feel like there are two sides to every story. Right. And so I feel like

[00:30:29] from this perspective, we are only getting Mia's side of the story about Gordon, but I would really

[00:30:35] like to hear Gordon's side of the fair because I, yeah, his side of the fair is the crazy fun house.

[00:30:44] Okay. Because he, I mean, he literally has, you know, doesn't perceive reality all the way like it is,

[00:30:53] you know, like he, it's, it's a, it's a mental issue. It's a mental illness and kudos to her for,

[00:31:00] for ending the relationship and knowing when she needs to move on. But she also know, and I think

[00:31:06] it was good that she got, um, some perspective from Kiana. Not counseling. Not counseling. Perspective.

[00:31:15] Um, and that she needs to understand that while she thinks she's helping Gordon by keeping him in

[00:31:22] the, she needs to, he needs to move on. But, and so that's what I mean by this other side of it,

[00:31:28] right. Because in my opinion, you know, I've, I work in the mental health field. I've been in the

[00:31:32] mental health field for several years. Right. To me, it feels like Mia's enabling Gordon. Right. And

[00:31:41] that's a part of the problem. And so it's like, am I going to agree with ink? Right. Like you need to

[00:31:47] set boundaries. And so like you teetering back and forth, adjusting to his mood each day. I don't think

[00:31:55] that that's helpful to Gordon. You want to act crazy? You can't be here. You can't be here. You're

[00:32:01] not going to see the kids. You're not going to see me. Like, you know what I mean? Like, and so

[00:32:05] that's, but I also feel like why I feel like Mia's enabling because it's like, you want that Instagram

[00:32:10] photo of him at the pool with the kids though, to project this image. And so that's why it's like,

[00:32:15] I don't want to. Not only that, but she likes the attention. She want to put it on the gram.

[00:32:19] And she also, she likes the attention. I think she likes the fact that two men are vying for her

[00:32:27] attention. That's it. Point blank. What I also thought was interesting was that I believe Jeremiah

[00:32:34] is older than his sister. But when Mia was saying, we're getting a divorce, you know, I was talking to

[00:32:40] you guys about it. The son said, you never said that her daughter was super quiet. She never said

[00:32:46] anything. She just acted like she was playing. And so, you know, I've worked with children for

[00:32:50] a long time. So I was like, that's interesting. But I thought what's really interesting was when

[00:32:54] Gordon got there and they were talking and then she whispers into Gordon's ear,

[00:32:59] I don't want mommy to marry ink. And so for me, that lets me know these babies are more involved

[00:33:07] than ever. Right. Like, cause that, that, and the fact that she would whisper that to the,

[00:33:13] like that just, that the social worker in me is like, yeah, when Giselle and other people are

[00:33:19] saying you're not protecting your kids, I don't think that they mean you're not, like, you're not

[00:33:26] protecting them from abuse or you're not keeping them safe. I think what they mean is like, you're

[00:33:29] not protecting their like mental health, wellbeing. They're like developmentally, they're

[00:33:34] developmental ways.

[00:33:35] But you're seeing your daddy act crazy. You shouldn't see your daddy act crazy.

[00:33:41] That's something you're supposed to hear about in the past, like in the past. Well, you know,

[00:33:44] you're not supposed to see that firsthand. I mean, that's like, you don't, you shouldn't see that kind

[00:33:49] of, it's like emotional violence, basically. You know, just like you don't let kids see physical

[00:33:53] violence. Well, anybody really, but especially that, I mean, it shapes and warps their mind

[00:33:58] when their brains are developing what are norms. And so, yeah, I agree with you on that one.

[00:34:05] And then it's like for her to even say that about Inc. And then you're trying to blend this family

[00:34:10] and then you're trying to make a scene. And then with Jeremiah's paternity lingering,

[00:34:15] you can't tell me that the kids haven't heard that. Like, so I think that that's what they mean

[00:34:19] by like, you're not protecting your kids. And so it's like, yeah, it is getting a little messy,

[00:34:23] Mia. And actually I'd like to not see the kids for the rest of the season, right? Like,

[00:34:28] let's just deal with Inc. Let's just deal with Gordon. And then also,

[00:34:33] no, let's not deal with Gordon. Let's deal like that. Those two sides, it should not be a triangle.

[00:34:40] Okay. It should be a you. It should be a you. It should be these two don't meet. Okay. It should

[00:34:45] be an open, open-ended. Okay. Cause yeah, I mean, and also I don't really think Inc. should be around

[00:34:52] the kids that much, to be honest. I think you need to have your relationship with your kids over here

[00:34:57] and then have your relationship with Inc. over there. And I think Inc. understands that he's

[00:35:01] trying to do it, but you know, we will see. It's hard. And you know what? I try to give people the

[00:35:09] benefit of the doubt. Maybe she doesn't know how to do that. And I like saw this when she was talking

[00:35:14] to Kiana because, and when she was getting some, you know, perspective, I don't think some of those

[00:35:22] things actually dawned on her. Like she hears, Oh, somebody is mentally ill, but that means like

[00:35:26] they don't process reality the same way. And it's, you know, nothing you've done or they've done is

[00:35:32] that they have like a mental illness. Like you can't fault somebody for having the flu. So same.

[00:35:40] I felt like when she was talking to Kiana, like she just was like going through the motions like,

[00:35:45] yeah. Like, I don't know. Yes. I didn't get breakthrough nuances happening. I got her being

[00:35:52] like, like, I'm just listening to hear you say what you have to say for me. It's just giving more

[00:35:57] storyline. And I think that there's like real life based into it. And I think that you need to

[00:36:05] take less of your family out of the, like take more of your family out of the storyline. Like

[00:36:10] if your storyline is the divorce, Gordon and Inc. Okay. Let's have that, but let's get the kids out

[00:36:15] of it because like, I don't like to see it. And yeah, it's just not a lot. And again, you can get a

[00:36:22] paternity back in three days. You can go to Walgreens, you go to CVS, you get a swab, put it in a container,

[00:36:30] send it on its way. And by you send it Monday, by Friday, you have the answers. Like, don't,

[00:36:34] I feel like you're laboring this out for a storyline. Yeah. I think she milking it for

[00:36:39] storyline. I do think that, that, and like, it's just like, I don't know. It's not good. So yeah,

[00:36:45] I'm ready for her to move on from the storyline and find something new. Yeah. Well, we will see

[00:36:50] what happens. Uh, when we come back in two weeks, we will cover episode 11 and 12 in two weeks.

[00:36:57] But yes, this has been the Purple Pants Podcast, Real Housewives of Atomac season nine,

[00:37:03] episode nine and 10. Thanks for listening. We'll be back. Enjoy your holiday season.
