[00:02:01] eight. We are back with Jatiya Hart, Taylor doctor, Jatiya Hart, Taylor covering. Hello,

[00:02:09] how are you? I'm heavily pixelated, but I'm doing great. That is good. Well, do what

[00:02:18] to do. Of course, you know, we got to get started with some of our updates in the Potomac

[00:02:24] and Atlanta housewives news. Of course, the first Potomac update is, you know, they might

[00:02:30] as well just consider your baby boy, a friend of the show at this. We're going to drop this

[00:02:37] picture, sir. Oh my goodness. Can we say self promotion? Oh my goodness. I mean, listen,

[00:02:43] I've met my girls, the green eyed bandits that came to Philadelphia for their reasonably

[00:02:47] shady show last week. And of course, I had to go shout out to my friend Sarah who bought

[00:02:53] me a ticket for an early birthday gift. So it's really great meeting dish. It was really

[00:02:59] great meeting Robin and Giselle, my green eyed bandits. It's funny because like, they're

[00:03:05] like, Giselle gave us exactly what I thought that she would give like, and Robin was like

[00:03:11] so friendly. And yeah, they was like talking a lot of. Oh, and you know, Miss Ashley Darby

[00:03:18] was there. She pulled up. Ashley looks great. So it was really just fun to meet them. So

[00:03:24] it's like, you know, I feel like I've met almost half of the cast. Ashley, Giselle, Robin,

[00:03:29] and the grand Dom have all made their way to Philly. But in other Potomac news, we got

[00:03:37] an update on the Candace and Michael Darby lawsuit. It looks like the judge has thrown

[00:03:48] the lawsuit out with prejudice. So Michael cannot reopen the lawsuit. They threw the lawsuit

[00:03:55] out. So the multi million dollar defamation claim. Wow, go on. Okay. And I think they

[00:04:04] filmed the reunion already. So it kind of sucks that we don't have that tea. But you know,

[00:04:09] kudos to Candace on that because that was some BS from Michael Darby. And so that's an

[00:04:15] update. And then in other franchise news, we know Atlanta is up for this reboot. And

[00:04:21] we do know Candy announced at the Grammys on Sunday night that she will not be returning

[00:04:26] to the housewives. So now that is going to be a sad little sad little ticket. Okay, because

[00:04:34] I, well, anyway, that's a whole nother podcast. But I think that she will be missed. But they

[00:04:40] already said they're doing like a big, well, not a reboot, but they're making a lot of

[00:04:44] changes.

[00:04:45] And a lot of people are speculating. Well, again, there was this false people magazine

[00:04:51] floating around that Neenie and Portia were returning, but we found out that that's false.

[00:04:56] But with candy leaving or candy not being asked back or whatever, it opens the door for

[00:05:02] Miss Phaedra parks to make her return. And although it is not Neenie, I think a Phaedra

[00:05:09] parks return would be amazing for the franchise. Just given her stint on Mary to medicine,

[00:05:15] how well she is killing it on season two of the traders. I definitely think that we will

[00:05:20] probably see Phaedra returning as a housewife in my opinion. What's your think about that?

[00:05:29] Well, it's a lot to digest. And it's a lot to think about. It is. I've been thinking

[00:05:39] about it so much. You made the internet go out, but I think Phaedra would be great coming

[00:05:43] back.

[00:05:44] Yeah, I think that would be great. Like a Phaedra in a Portia. I could be here for that

[00:05:51] duo. But so you know, I just had to give you all the updates of these housewives streets

[00:05:55] is one of my favorite little talking points on this podcast. But listen, let's get into

[00:05:59] episode 12. Not a lot happen, but a lot happens. I think what is more importantly,

[00:06:05] Giselle and Ashley are gearing up for their G and A lawn at G and A, Giselle and Ashley.

[00:06:14] We do know that that will be the season finale their event. So the more we talk about it,

[00:06:18] the more we know we're getting closer to the end of the season. We do see NECA in her home.

[00:06:25] And she is, you know, working on her bubbly line, Bido. And we finally enters Chats Lebe.

[00:06:35] We finally get Lebe on our screen. If you don't know who Lebe is, because we don't have

[00:06:41] you guys, she's at the center. She's at the center of everything Lebe, right? Lebe is

[00:06:46] the one, you know, who's the connector? How you know, NECA says she knows Wendy, but Wendy

[00:06:53] don't know NECA. So Lebe comes in and she's giving the connection. She's, she's making

[00:06:59] it all fit. She's making it all work together. And NECA is talking about this unpacking party

[00:07:06] that she's having at her new home. Her new home is beautiful. It's not fully furnished.

[00:07:11] Have you ever heard of an unpacking party? No, I've heard of a moving party where people

[00:07:18] actually help you move. But I'm packing now. So that'll be interesting. And plus I wouldn't

[00:07:23] want people touching my stuff. How do you feel about it? I mean, if I need help, I'm

[00:07:29] gonna have my friends come and help me. But I mean, to be unpacking wedding gifts from

[00:07:35] two years ago, like I think is a bit much. But listen, if you want to, if you try and

[00:07:39] show your home and North Potomac off, I say show that North Potomac home off. NECA also

[00:07:47] talks about how she did get an invite to the happy Eddie event. And so she feels like that's

[00:07:53] an olive branch that Wendy is extending. And I mean, I love that, like, you know, let's

[00:07:58] get you all together. Although, Wendy made it clear on the last episode, it's not her

[00:08:03] event. It is happy Eddie's event. And Eddie will be controlling the guest list, not her.

[00:08:09] She has nothing to do with it. So she said, we also see Candice with Chris.

[00:08:14] and where Chris is going to be making his appearance at this happy, Eddie event and here's the one thing that I didn't necessarily like about this episode where I felt like they kind of just crunched together, all of what the ladies are working on this episode and I felt like why are we doing that like y'all could have been showing us all of this throughout the whole season because Candace lets us know she is an actress and she is filming scripted TV show and she's got her acting we get to see clips or

[00:08:44] a clip of her on the deep space part 2, 2, 2, 2, 2 tour and so it's like I love seeing Candace on tour. I love seeing her acting like why are we just getting these like one minute montages of Candace. Why are we getting this one minute

[00:09:02] like why are y'all trying to sell us? I felt like this was like a real housewives of Potomac infomercial between the GNA and the Candace and the bubbly and the wee and everything else like that. So it was a bit much and I agree with you they could have spread it out throughout the season because they had a whole like two or three episodes that there wasn't a lot going on.

[00:09:25] So we could have seen a lot more from the ladies and what they're doing but we get to the happy Eddie event and again it brings me back to season one of Atlanta where I think Dwight said it best.

[00:09:40] How do you have a fashion show with no fashions and apparently at Eddie's happy Eddie marijuana event or having it at a dispensary but it's a rolling class.

[00:09:54] Now mind you know I ain't that really good with rolling especially with the papers but they are going to be rolling oregano and so it's just like y'all sold us on this marijuana event and again maybe

[00:10:10] I know a lot of distilleries or dispense I keep saying distilleries. I know maybe with the licenses maybe they got the same licenses that Karen has and that they can't have you smoking on the premises so that will make more sense but again I just

[00:10:23] know actually you know what it was it was that we wasn't legal when they taped it in Maryland so it was about to be legalized but it wasn't illegal yet.

[00:10:33] Okay cuz my uncle say well why don't y'all just go so where it's legal so that you're like I just feel like it would have made for such a better episode and we got a little puff puff pass or if somebody

[00:10:45] you know what if we got to see them actually smoking I watch that the only person I would have wanted to watch was Karen okay I would have wanted to watch on some hand she's sober I think she's so I don't know I'm not going to talk

[00:11:07] for her but the way that she got lit on that champagne at the bar at one time makes me always want to see her go any kind of change okay.

[00:11:16] Yes and so the ladies start arriving to the happy Eddie event and of course Candice can't she shows up but she can't make it because she can only show for a little bit of time because she's filming her pilot and so Chris obviously wants to support Eddie

[00:11:36] and so Chris stays but baby Karen arrives with her assistant and Mia arrives and we know from the text message from last episode where Mia said listen I don't do last minute invites sorry but congrats to you and yours.

[00:11:50] Miss Karen goes immediately in on Wendy and says girl what's up what's the problem what you doing all it is and mind you again I have said it once I'm going to say it again.

[00:12:02] Even though I don't really believe or I don't really love Mia's rebuttal baby Mia is earning her flower her peach her apple her Potomac spot.

[00:12:16] I think they have blossomed she said they have cherry blossoms but she's only earning her cherry blossom yes because I'm ready to give it to Karen.

[00:12:25] Yes and me it's like how you mad at me like I was a last minute invite like sorry I don't make last minute invites Karen was like you weren't on the original invite you weren't a last minute invite you were a last resort I was like oh Karen.

[00:12:41] So I'm like hello grandma hello you clearly you've not met her you don't want to come for her and like you're not even on her level that's how I felt like Karen treated her which I love I love for her to get down and dirty sometimes

[00:12:53] and like remind me who the hell she is.

[00:12:56] Yeah, Karen said I don't start with the girls but I definitely will finish with the girls and then Ashley arrives Giselle arrives Giselle kind of like skirts past Wendy and doesn't speak us as high to the girls and Wendy's like I'm confused how you come to my event

[00:13:14] and you not speak I was like I was like you're a bit I thought it was happy at ease of it but also again Bravo is funny where they show where over the last year and a half where Wendy and Giselle when they enter these rooms they don't speak to each other as so I thought that was interesting but I definitely will get on Giselle like whether you like

[00:13:37] Wendy or not this still is her husband's event like jizzy just say what's up just say hello like it just gave

[00:13:47] keep it over business but this whole episode gave like I don't really want you here but I understand for filming I need for you to be here because the more people that will be at this event the more publicity Eddie will get also Giselle it's like I don't really want

[00:14:05] I don't want to do it but I know I need to film in the group and so if I don't film in the group then they're going to ice me up so we'll just vary this everybody showing up or like Giselle being there it really kind of sort of gave like I'm just fulfilling my contract

[00:14:20] but also thought it was interesting at the heat of Karen and Mia NECA arrives now I don't know if it's you but NECA has very awkward entrances at canvases entrance she was talking on a phone with Wendy and NECA was like

[00:14:38] oh hi and then at this entrance in the heat of it all now mind you I'm gonna give it to my girl Wendy because we know they don't like each other Wendy's shaded hello for me I was here for it because I was like that's how I would greet somebody if I don't really want to greet them NECA was like

[00:14:58] Hey, thank you for inviting me I'm here Wendy looked at how she said hey how you doing thank you for like I was I was here for that windy energy super shady it was super shady it was like I said something my lips moved down came out but I really

[00:15:13] didn't mean it and I wanted to say something else yeah but again I live for that type of shade that's where I could get on board with Wendy where it's like listen I don't really mess with you but yeah thank you for coming I was like OK, I could

[00:15:27] I feel that a little bit in the windy so I was filling Wendy shade now of course Ashley what Ashley going to do stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff stuff actually go on third a pot because we sit down

[00:15:45] and Gordon cast the leaf and after he leaves Ashley asked me a like so how are things with you awarded and Wendy kind of gives this you know we are right type of answer or me again that you said

[00:16:03] but this is why Ashley earn her cherry blossom every year is because look she's saying the show got to be by something I don't want it to be about me this episode so I'm a star asking question.

[00:16:15] She took a page out of gazelle's book and yeah so Mia kind of gives us this we all this weird kind of sort of answer another great shady moment the two best shady hellos first one goes the windy because

[00:16:30] I gave that. But when Sharice entered the room, Sharice got their first and we know Sharice the neck are really cool. And then when Karen enters the room, she says hello to Jazelle. And then Karen says hello, everybody.

[00:16:41] I love it. I love it. That's a no like hello to every single person in the room. You know, like I think around the room is so large. I mean, there's so many people here, you know, all of these things. I can't remember everybody's names. Let me give a general shout out to the people's.

[00:16:59] And shout out to Sharice, aka Shasha, because Shasha said everyone hello. It's just like, I mean, we know what the root of the Karen and Sharice beef is. But the way that Karen pays dust. And I mean, literal dust to Sharice is crazy.

[00:17:27] I thought it was a very, very nice way to acknowledge people you don't want to speak too personally. And I am going to incorporate that into my life. So next time I see you and I just look past you and say hello, everyone. Hello, everyone. Yes.

[00:18:00] So yeah, that was funny. But also I thought she reached like the really cute were her little like pajamas that they had a little tight thing. I was like, okay, Shari's and so they

[00:18:12] are talking and Wendy kind of gives this like, yeah, like vague answer regarding how her and Gordon are doing. Then we then get me. I keep saying Wendy Mia, we, yeah, Wendy Wendy is happy at his wife Mia is Gordon's husband.

[00:18:30] After that, we get a day date with Mia and Gordon. And for me, it's like, are me and Gordon on the same planet because it seemed like two different conversations were happening.

[00:18:44] We know that they was a therapy that one time. And since the therapy, Mia and Gordon have been trying to rekindle their own dance. Yeah. And just, you know, be better partners to each other.

[00:19:00] But it was very clear me and her confession. Oh, she tells us, listen, we go on day dates because we have to go on dates while the kids are in school because we don't have a nanny. And when Mia says we don't have a nanny. Like, I think that in my opinion, she's saying more than that. Like she's essentially saying the standard

[00:19:19] Of the level I'm married because he was rich is no longer rich. And so I do not want to be married to him. Yes, that's what that's what it was given.

[00:19:29] And so the date goes from

[00:19:32] kissy kissy kissy to a child, you know, I almost got a divorce from you. And Gordon is like, well, I didn't know that. And then me is like, yeah.

[00:19:41] Because this ain't really what I signed up for. So they have this quick back and forth. Then they talk about Ashley Darp and Mia asked Gordon, well, do you think Ashley

[00:19:53] Is ever going to divorce him? And Gordon says, no, you, why give up the sugar daddy? If you don't have to. And they both laugh and Mia kind of gives a a face lie.

[00:20:03] And they then ask each other hypothetical questions as to

[00:20:10] What will we do in that situation? And Mia very clearly says divorce, divorce, divorce. And then Gordon says not so fast. And then

[00:20:21] The conversation goes down an alleyway that I was confused about because it was

[00:20:28] Around the corner and on the next block. That's where it went. It was like it was well. Okay.

[00:20:34] So it went from being hypothetical to essentially saying if and when or if we are actually at this point.

[00:20:44] We are co-parenting our children.

[00:20:50] We can live in the same house, but

[00:20:54] We can have an arrangement.

[00:20:57] And

[00:20:59] It was weird. All of this was weird. All of this was very weird conversation to me.

[00:21:05] And I was like, I mean, their whole relationship, to be honest, has been weird anyway from him picking her up when she was, you know, slang is surf and turf at the strip club

[00:21:18] All the way through. So I mean, I don't know. I kind of don't expect anything less. I understand, you know, she's like, look, I ain't signed up to be, you know, super mom and super wife. I really want it that soft life and

[00:21:33] The life here is no longer soft. So now she's throwing out hypotheticals and he's trying to keep her, but it's all it's going wrong. And then their

[00:21:42] Ancient maybe what's her name? The friend might be in an arrangement. What's her name? You know, I'll talk about

[00:21:48] The the friend I forget her name. I know exactly who you talk about who they bought the car for.

[00:21:54] Yeah, but again, Gordon seems to very be harping on we could work out a respectable arrangement. Now, again, he isn't saying anything much, but the way that he is talking

[00:22:07] The way that he is talking leads to like a financial arrangement, but

[00:22:12] Us as viewers are essentially saying like, will we be opening up the marriage? And again, that seems to be something that Mia

[00:22:21] Is not here for at all. She's like, absolutely not that would never work. And I guess when Gordon originally brought it up, they got into a fight. And so then we fast forward to Naka's

[00:22:34] unpacking party and the sister is there and she got her bubbly and it is interesting.

[00:22:41] Okay, shout out to the bubbly and again, Naka, Naka makes it very clear that when I do something, I do a very

[00:22:48] Fast and I started this four months ago and we ain't it ain't going to take me two to three weeks to get my bubbly out. Well, I mean, I also feel like

[00:22:58] when a brand approaches you.

[00:23:01] Or you got to a slap your name on it. Girl, it's not like you know you you go into champagne

[00:23:07] France and making that but she makes it very clear that it is tastes like champagne, but it is sparkling wine at an affordable price. And listen, I'm I'm all here for an affordable price. They also like it heavily. Now, this is again.

[00:23:21] I will agree with some of the fans where I feel like

[00:23:27] in the beginning, I didn't feel like she was making Wendy so much of her storyline. But again, this I invited the olive branch Wendy gave me to come to the party now one girl, you should have felt her energy when you got there. Right. So, you know, in her mind, that's an olive branch.

[00:23:44] Oh, oh, before we get there before we get there at the happy party, Naka pulls windy aside and is saying like, Hey, I love to sit on a 101

[00:23:57] 101, like like their employees, you know, like she

[00:24:01] provides the performance evaluation. And again,

[00:24:06] I'm not mad at Wendy's response. Now, Wendy's response was like, well, girl, you've yet to apologize about calling my mom a witch calling me a B like girl, what's up. Now, I was with Wendy there. And then I kind of was with Naka when Naka was like, well, girl, you said we kind of jumped around. And so

[00:24:25] stage one is let's have a sit down and let's talk. Now, I kind of was with that. But I also felt like, well, girl, you might be jumping around a little bit. How about you apologize to me first and act for a 101. So I don't know what

[00:24:44] Ever, Nicodid, Woody Boy, No Light. Okay, so this is the thing, if the

[00:24:49] would have walked by her and not said hello, then she'd have been in the

[00:24:52] bucket with yourself. But then Nicodid would say hello, and she got this rude

[00:24:56] response, you know, the shady is hello of all time, right? And then so it's like

[00:25:02] whatever. She just wants her to bow down to her in some kind of way. Neither is right.

[00:25:07] There's different ways you can do it. But I also just feel like I get a sense

[00:25:13] that Necca wants this victim card, right? Like first of all, Necca, it's like, you

[00:25:18] know where you are, Wendy saying, right? Like, let's just, we can coexist. Let's do

[00:25:24] the Candace Giselle thing. Let's do the Karen Sharice thing. Let's keep it cute.

[00:25:29] But again, I do get a little sense that Necca is trying to like, let me extend

[00:25:34] this olive branch. Even though Wendy has made it very clear, like listen, girl,

[00:25:39] I'm in the last episode. Wendy was saying there's steps that need to be taken.

[00:25:46] Blah, blah, blah. You're doing this step before that step. I'm not a girl. I think you're

[00:25:50] trying to take steps and like you like, and now you're saying, oh, y'all shouldn't

[00:25:53] take steps. Like, I mean, you can't agree. But I just, I definitely feel like the

[00:25:59] first step is, hey, I'm sorry we got off on the foot that we got off. If I've

[00:26:04] caused you any names, I'd love to sit down with you. I feel like that's that one

[00:26:08] not being like, hey, when Wendy publishes her new book, how to apologize me in the

[00:26:14] correct steps from A to Z one through three, then Necca would know that. But at least

[00:26:19] she is trying is my point like, dang, you got to have a manual to apologize to you.

[00:26:24] She's trying to do the right thing and being good graces. So what I'm just, whatever

[00:26:29] you going to play by the girl either way. I'm just saying, I'm mad at Wendy's

[00:26:35] responses. And then again, this I get now I like nekka. Y'all know I like nekka. This,

[00:26:42] I do feel like nekka is trying to be the victim here a little bit because it's like,

[00:26:47] you know, well, Wendy invited me to her happy anything. So I did extend an invite to my

[00:26:53] unpacking and she didn't decline. So I'm expecting her to see here. Girl, if she did

[00:26:59] say she coming, she not coming like you shouldn't even now I do agree with you on that

[00:27:04] like she is like you she needs to not pay that attention any attention whether she comes

[00:27:10] or she doesn't come. So what who cares. So yeah, again, I feel like you that shouldn't

[00:27:16] be coming out of your mouth and people say that she's not coming be like, Oh, okay, I

[00:27:20] didn't hear from her, but not you leading with that right like now it's given like now

[00:27:24] you're trying to like now you're really trying to make it this windy thing. Oh, you're trying

[00:27:29] to be the bigger part like yeah, no, just let it be what it's going to be. But we're at

[00:27:33] this unpacking party. And again, a lot of the girls are like, girl, what are we doing

[00:27:37] here? Girl, I ain't coming to your house to unpacking away and gifts like, unless I get

[00:27:40] to keep it, I ain't unpacking nothing. And so that was interesting. And again, Karen and

[00:27:47] Mia get into it again. And Karen is like, you know, y'all love to bring up these rumors

[00:27:54] or I guess Mia alludes to Karen's situation and Karen is like, well, how about I bring

[00:27:59] up some rumors y'all been attacking my institution since I got on this show? Do I attack your

[00:28:04] institution? What you running around here with a rapper? What you running around here

[00:28:09] having sex with a married man? And everybody's like, Oh, a rapper of married man. Oh my God.

[00:28:16] But here is why I do love Mia. Although it's like, Mia don't be having her story together

[00:28:23] all the time. I love when the girls are like, we don't be knowing, but I love when the

[00:28:32] girls are like, Oh, so you hanging out with me, because they bleep it out. And Mia, like

[00:28:37] you can't be saying his name. Mia's like, we have her got we are hanging out, right?

[00:28:43] And everyone's like, I love this about Mia. Like, when she admitted to her plastic surgery,

[00:28:51] she just admit to being messy even. And then when she get called out because she can't

[00:28:55] add or can't remember, she she owns up to her messiness. I love that about her. And

[00:29:01] so they're like, Oh, does Gordon know? And she's like, well, Gordon's been hanging out

[00:29:05] with us. And so then I'm like, well, girl, this sounds like an arrangement. Well, I mean,

[00:29:13] well, gorg, first of all, we know Gordon open for the arrangement, because he's trying

[00:29:17] to keep his candy on his arm. So, um, question, is that what you think it is? Do you think

[00:29:25] do you think that Gordon is really trying to keep his pretty wife on his arm? Or do you

[00:29:30] think that Gordon does not want to have to split his finances? That's that's more so

[00:29:36] what I get. I think both. I think it's I think it's both. But the whole point is she leaving

[00:29:42] your arm because you ain't got the finances. So I don't see how you're gonna be able to

[00:29:46] pay her to stay. So I think it's both.

[00:29:50] And then Mia talks at the unpacking party that like she loves Gordon. However, like,

[00:29:56] you know, she is thinking about leaving but giving his family situation. All of his family

[00:30:01] has turned his back on him. And she does she's like, what type of girl would I be to leave

[00:30:06] him in his family's turn to his back on him? But I'm like, well, girl, what type of girl

[00:30:10] is you to leave him? Because he can't provide you a nanny. And then she goes down this list

[00:30:13] of all of these things that she's so unhappy with. And again, the nanny keeps popping up.

[00:30:19] It's like that nanny is a big issue. Yeah, I'm sorry, but I was on that like hello. Yes,

[00:30:26] if I'm not a lot. So if you I mean, I don't have a nanny. I wish I did have one call me

[00:30:33] Mia. If you provided nannies or you know how to do that. But the whole point is like if

[00:31:45] going on a the actual trip, not to Austin, Texas. We're going on the actual trip. Not

[00:31:55] chicken, not the chicken poop being going to Austin, but we're going on the actual trip.

[00:32:07] and Robbins one on one. It doesn't look like the one on one will be very successful. But
